Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: The following content does not reflect the opinions of Fox
- 0:03Speaker 1: Sports Radio because it's garbage all right. Yo, Yeah, I'm
- 0:14Speaker 1: me Toyo Life from Philly. It's the number one rated
- 0:17Speaker 1: Polly and Tony Fosco show.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Yo Yo.
- 0:21Speaker 1: As always, Pauli Fools go here with Tony Foolsco and
- 0:24Speaker 1: Tony Huge show today. You know, we're gonna tell you
- 0:28Speaker 1: why the Eagles win over the Raiders. Was absolutely hugely
- 0:32Speaker 1: impressed and while the Cowboys won even though they lost. Yep,
- 0:37Speaker 1: you see that's what they go on the business at
- 0:39Speaker 1: these people. See, you can't go anywhere because your stain's
- 0:42Speaker 1: going to be focused on what that is.
- 0:44Speaker 2: He's stuck here.
- 0:45Speaker 1: Plus, we're going to have the latest fallout from the
- 0:47Speaker 1: Baseball Winter Meetings. Tony's got some sourcing there, and as
- 0:51Speaker 1: we do every year, on a very somber note, we're
- 0:55Speaker 1: going to look back on all the famous sports figures
- 0:58Speaker 1: and other personalities we lost in twenty twenty five, one
- 1:04Speaker 1: of whom was not a producer who is unfortunately still alive.
- 1:09Speaker 2: So sad, so unfortunate for all of us.
- 1:12Speaker 1: But on a brighter note, Tony, you know, one quick
- 1:15Speaker 1: show note here, you know throughout the week. People are
- 1:17Speaker 1: still been coming up to us, you know, because last
- 1:20Speaker 1: week we announced that we got these numbers from Fox
- 1:22Speaker 1: Sports Radio, right, yeah, we got our CUM numbers for
- 1:25Speaker 1: twenty twenty five. Know, and for you you lay people
- 1:29Speaker 1: out there who don't know what is cume is the
- 1:32Speaker 1: total of your views and your viewers on all the
- 1:36Speaker 1: platforms audio, video, social, right, Dan, And our cume was
- 1:41Speaker 1: just massive, as we told you. But of course, now
- 1:44Speaker 1: what's happening, Tony. The advertisers they're just coming running, aren't they.
- 1:49Speaker 2: It's so predictable in this business.
- 1:52Speaker 1: You know.
- 1:52Speaker 3: Once people here you have massive kume, they all want
- 1:57Speaker 3: to get a taste of that cume. Know, everybody starts
- 2:01Speaker 3: asking you for things. They're pulling at you, tugging at you,
- 2:05Speaker 3: anything to get us to give them that cub.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Yeah, and you know, you know it's so pathetic, Doty,
- 2:11Speaker 1: the jealousy. You know, I heard a lot of our
- 2:13Speaker 1: competitors they don't believe we have such massive numbers. You know,
- 2:16Speaker 1: they just have such a hard time swallowing our cum.
- 2:19Speaker 3: You know, it's just as and I hear it most
- 2:21Speaker 3: from female hosts. They think that we're lying about our
- 2:25Speaker 3: huge numbers. All of them are outright refusing to swallow
- 2:29Speaker 3: our cume. It's the jealousy. It's the jealousy tony. Yeah,
- 2:33Speaker 3: just terrible. Anyway, you know what the hater is. What
- 2:36Speaker 3: they don't want you to do out that people. They
- 2:38Speaker 3: don't want you to like and subscribe to the show exactly.
- 2:41Speaker 2: They don't want, you know, our cub to become like them.
- 2:45Speaker 1: Don't behavior and rate and review on Apple five forget
- 2:49Speaker 1: to do that. Okay, enough with that, let's get right
- 2:52Speaker 1: into our top story story. All right, first, out the
- 2:57Speaker 1: gate people, these morons out there, they're saying that the
- 3:01Speaker 1: Eagles had an easy win because they played the Raiders
- 3:04Speaker 1: lead and the Raiders are at a playoff contention. But donty,
- 3:09Speaker 1: everybody knows that that makes them harder to beat.
- 3:12Speaker 3: Right of course, when is a team at their most
- 3:15Speaker 3: dangerous when they have nothing to lose, Exactly all you
- 3:21Speaker 3: have to do is look at one of the most
- 3:23Speaker 3: successful movies of the nineteen eighties, of course, I'm talking
- 3:27Speaker 3: about Over the Top. So Vesta Stallone is estranged from
- 3:32Speaker 3: his wife, who's suffering from heart disease, and he has
- 3:35Speaker 3: no relationship with his son who's in military school.
- 3:39Speaker 2: He has nothing to lose, yep.
- 3:42Speaker 3: And that's why he's able to win the whole arm
- 3:46Speaker 3: wrestling tournament yep.
- 3:48Speaker 1: And I know what I'm about to say is controversial, Tony,
- 3:51Speaker 1: but you know, this is why the Taliban is so dangerous.
- 3:55Speaker 1: You know, they live in a desert well, just like
- 3:57Speaker 1: the Raiders, you know, and they've suffered a lot of
- 4:00Speaker 1: humiliating losses in the past twenty thirty years, just like
- 4:04Speaker 1: the Raiders. Really fact, when you'll think about it, the
- 4:07Speaker 1: Raiders are basically the Taliban, you know.
- 4:09Speaker 3: You know, we basically pretty much beat the Taliban.
- 4:13Speaker 1: We did, and yet the haters are still angry. And
- 4:16Speaker 1: on that subject, one more thing. You know, people say
- 4:19Speaker 1: that the Raiders QLB Kenny Pickett is a terrible quarterbl please.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Oh yeah, well, what's the measure of every QB Super
- 4:27Speaker 1: Bowl wins?
- 4:28Speaker 2: Exactly?
- 4:29Speaker 1: Put up that graphic. This is most Super Bowl wins
- 4:33Speaker 1: since twenty twenty four. There you go, and as you
- 4:36Speaker 1: can clearly see, Kenny Pickett isn't a tie for first
- 4:39Speaker 1: place with Jalen Hurts with one Super Bowl wins, while
- 4:43Speaker 1: Patrick Mahomes, Bo Nicks, Justin Herbert, all these other guys, GOOSEU.
- 4:48Speaker 2: SAG numbers never lie.
- 4:51Speaker 1: Nope, they don't anyway to the Cowboys. You know, people
- 4:56Speaker 1: they're coming down hard on the Cowboys this yet they
- 4:58Speaker 1: say they're having a down Yeah, But to me, it's
- 5:01Speaker 1: not all negative for the Cowboys, right Thundy.
- 5:04Speaker 3: Oh, you know, every team needs what anti identity exactly,
- 5:09Speaker 3: and the Cowboys have a great one. They're the best
- 5:12Speaker 3: team in football at finishing five hundred.
- 5:16Speaker 2: You know, think about it. When the league.
- 5:18Speaker 3: Expanded to seventeen games, it basically became mathematically impossible to
- 5:23Speaker 3: even finish five hundred. Yet the Cowboys are still finding
- 5:27Speaker 3: a way. Right now, at six seven and one, the
- 5:32Speaker 3: Cowboys are just two wins and one loss away from
- 5:35Speaker 3: achieving the impossible. When you think about it, they're actually
- 5:39Speaker 3: having an incredible season.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Just terrific analysis that Dody. In fact, if I were
- 5:45Speaker 1: the Cowboys, well, I would just win one more game
- 5:48Speaker 1: and die the rest of the games. You know, get
- 5:50Speaker 1: the seven to seven and three. You know what a
- 5:52Speaker 1: statement that would be. It would be about their ideaity exactly. Anyway,
- 5:57Speaker 1: you know, what we also need to put out, Donty
- 6:00Speaker 1: is that at six seven and one, the Cowboys are
- 6:03Speaker 1: right in the conversation not among playoff teams, but among
- 6:07Speaker 1: eleven year old suburban white kids with TikTok accounts.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Right, Dony, exactly.
- 6:11Speaker 3: You know, when you think about it, if the Cowboys
- 6:14Speaker 3: had beaten the Vikings, they would have been seven to
- 6:17Speaker 3: six and one.
- 6:18Speaker 2: But that's not trendy.
- 6:20Speaker 3: You know, at six seven and one, that dramatically improved
- 6:24Speaker 3: their odds of getting more likes and follows from fans,
- 6:28Speaker 3: you know, not football fans, but Jojo Siwak fans.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Just yeah, terrific football and also social media trend analysis
- 6:36Speaker 1: that Tony and you know, come to think of it,
- 6:39Speaker 1: the Cowboys should actually aim to go six seven and
- 6:42Speaker 1: five if they want to stay relevant, you know, exactly
- 6:45Speaker 1: in the playoffs, but in elementary schools across the country
- 6:47Speaker 1: of course.
- 6:48Speaker 4: You know.
- 6:48Speaker 1: Anyway, one more thing about the Cowboys. You know, Dak
- 6:52Speaker 1: came out this week. You see this Tony and he
- 6:54Speaker 1: said quote he was definitely surprised that the Cowboys are
- 6:59Speaker 1: about to miss the playoffs, which came as a shock
- 7:02Speaker 1: to nobody except him. You know, Dony, as a Cowboys fan,
- 7:05Speaker 1: you've got to find this quote by Dak concerning don't
- 7:08Speaker 1: they you really do?
- 7:09Speaker 3: You know, I consulted a medical expert yesterday and he
- 7:12Speaker 3: told me that Dak is suffering from a condition called
- 7:16Speaker 3: dak menshia. You know, it's when you play for the Cowboys,
- 7:20Speaker 3: or root for the Cowboys, and keep believing that you're
- 7:23Speaker 3: gonna win a Super Bowl despite every stat indicating that
- 7:28Speaker 3: you suck.
- 7:28Speaker 2: You know.
- 7:29Speaker 3: But the good news for Dallas is that Jerry Jones
- 7:32Speaker 3: does not have dak menshia. He just has regular dementia.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Oh all right, Well, a decent art of events there
- 7:39Speaker 1: for the Cowboys. Anyway, to baseball, where there's still fallout
- 7:44Speaker 1: coming from the annual winter meetings of MLB owners which
- 7:47Speaker 1: were held us here at the JW. Marriott down in Orlando, Florida. Now, Tony,
- 7:52Speaker 1: you have some inside sourcing, don't you, on what went
- 7:55Speaker 1: down at these meetings.
- 7:56Speaker 2: I've actually got some breaking news.
- 8:01Speaker 3: According to my sources, MLB owners were very upset at
- 8:05Speaker 3: the meetings with the quality of the caesar salad dressing.
- 8:09Speaker 3: Apparently there was too much anchoby and not enough lemon
- 8:13Speaker 3: in the dressing, creating more of a fishy taste. My
- 8:17Speaker 3: sources tell me that this led to several caesar salads
- 8:20Speaker 3: being sent back to the kitchen and replaced with regular
- 8:24Speaker 3: house garden salads. So as you can see, it was
- 8:27Speaker 3: a very tense situation at those meetings.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Well, just a total miss there by maryatt catering. We'll
- 8:33Speaker 1: let you know if there are any more updates from
- 8:35Speaker 1: the winter meetings out, but we must move to a
- 8:38Speaker 1: serious situation unfolding at the University of Michigan head coach
- 8:44Speaker 1: Sutton SHARONI because name is anyway more, SHARONI Moore has
- 8:49Speaker 1: been fired after allegations that he had an affair with
- 8:52Speaker 1: a female staffer, and after the affair ended, he stalked
- 8:57Speaker 1: or at her home and even committed breaking an end.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Now Tony, A lot of people are saying these allegations
- 9:03Speaker 1: make Michigan and more look bad, But I don't know
- 9:07Speaker 1: if I wholly agree with that, do you you know?
- 9:10Speaker 1: I know this is gonna sound somewhat controversial, but we
- 9:13Speaker 1: are in the post nil era, and that means that
- 9:17Speaker 1: coaches need to be more aggressive in their recruiting, you know,
- 9:21Speaker 1: showing up at their houses, coming back repeatedly day after day,
- 9:27Speaker 1: sending them text messages that say I want you bed
- 9:31Speaker 1: or I'm your future not the other guy. You know,
- 9:34Speaker 1: these are all parts of recruiting and the post nil era.
- 9:39Speaker 1: You need take it too far, of course, but generally,
- 9:44Speaker 1: you know, I don't exactly hate the approach.
- 9:47Speaker 2: I don't exactly hate the approach. Hey, what are you
- 9:53Speaker 2: doing the show?
- 9:54Speaker 1: What? What are you talking about?
- 9:58Speaker 4: What?
- 9:58Speaker 5: This is not a subject you should be covering. And
- 10:01Speaker 5: I'm doing you a favor.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Oh yeah, Well I'm going to do the world a
- 10:06Speaker 1: favor when I bludgeon you.
- 10:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:09Speaker 3: And you're about to get into Michigan Lake, Michigan after
- 10:13Speaker 3: I dump your body there.
- 10:15Speaker 1: Oh shut up, yah, wait, hold on, hold on, I'm
- 10:18Speaker 1: a getting more breaking news from the winter meetings. Oh great, Okay,
- 10:21Speaker 1: breaking news, Okay, Reports of more tension breaking out among
- 10:26Speaker 1: the owners as the kitchen apparently mixed up the decaf
- 10:30Speaker 1: coffee with the regular coffee, leading to some unwonted heart
- 10:35Speaker 1: palpitations among the more elderly owners. And also I'm hearing
- 10:40Speaker 1: the kitchen ran out of the very popular New York cheesecake,
- 10:44Speaker 1: which means these organizations were facing severely limited options for
- 10:49Speaker 1: dessert just key lime pie and flyawn. So, as you
- 10:54Speaker 1: can see, just a very tense situation at those meetings.
- 10:58Speaker 1: These meetings tell me very very tense. Yeah, thank you
- 11:02Speaker 1: for these reports, very great inside soucing. But uh, tondy,
- 11:07Speaker 1: it's you know, it's the part of the year. You know,
- 11:09Speaker 1: we don't look forward to it, but here we are.
- 11:13Speaker 1: We're gonna do our in memoriam where we look back
- 11:16Speaker 1: at all the people we've lost this year. We're gonna
- 11:18Speaker 1: we're gonna need to kind of get into the right
- 11:20Speaker 1: head space. So you know, why don't we take a
- 11:23Speaker 1: quick break, you know, make a few million dollars on
- 11:25Speaker 1: those ads, and then we'll be right back after this.
- 11:30Speaker 1: All right, we're back from break, so Zamba time here
- 11:34Speaker 1: at the show, Tony. As we do every year, you know,
- 11:38Speaker 1: we look back at all the luminaries, the sports figures,
- 11:42Speaker 1: the legends, personalities that we lost in twenty twenty five,
- 11:47Speaker 1: and we're going to do that right now and do
- 11:49Speaker 1: our best to honor their memory and their legacy. Here
- 11:53Speaker 1: we go. This is in Memoriam twenty twenty five. Breum
- 12:01Speaker 1: twenty twenty five. Okay, our first lubin area on the list,
- 12:09Speaker 1: George Foreman and well Tony. You know, there have been
- 12:13Speaker 1: so many great heavyweight champions through the years, but only
- 12:18Speaker 1: one created a grill that would help you grill Panini's sandwiches,
- 12:25Speaker 1: maybe you know, a caesada, and and to do it
- 12:29Speaker 1: in a way where the grease would not drip all over,
- 12:33Speaker 1: you know, where it would drip into like a nice
- 12:36Speaker 1: plastic container at the bottom.
- 12:38Speaker 2: It was a little tray.
- 12:39Speaker 1: You know. You could also put fish on there too,
- 12:43Speaker 1: you know. Now, you know it would stink up your
- 12:45Speaker 1: whole house, but still it would knock out the fat
- 12:49Speaker 1: at the same time. It's so true, Tony, you don't
- 12:52Speaker 1: want to hear the name George Foreman. It conjures of
- 12:55Speaker 1: smells of burning electricity and also prov a loane cheese
- 13:00Speaker 1: together that smell of burning provolone at electricity. You know,
- 13:06Speaker 1: you think of all the great names in history, you know,
- 13:09Speaker 1: Muhammad Ali, did he ever have a grill? No, no, no,
- 13:13Speaker 1: Joe Frasier, no, no, no. You know, Larry Holmes in
- 13:17Speaker 1: not even you know, didn't invent a microwave, you know,
- 13:19Speaker 1: let alone maybe even a pot a pan that you
- 13:22Speaker 1: could cook with.
- 13:22Speaker 3: You know, it's such a shame because his name would
- 13:25Speaker 3: have been perfect, Larry Holmes home grill, you know, but
- 13:29Speaker 3: he didn't do it.
- 13:30Speaker 1: That would have been perfect, That would have been perfect.
- 13:32Speaker 1: But you know that, and that's what why George Foreman,
- 13:35Speaker 1: how he set himself apart.
- 13:37Speaker 2: You know, he really did.
- 13:38Speaker 1: Got to tip a gap up to him. All right.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Moving to another luminary, we well kind of lost Hulk Hogan.
- 13:48Speaker 1: Now I say that, Tony, because we didn't actually want
- 13:51Speaker 1: to put him on the list. Did we debate actually
- 13:53Speaker 1: going to put an asterisk next to his name, because
- 13:56Speaker 1: it's still likely possible that this whole death was actually
- 14:00Speaker 1: just some promotion really over WrestleMania in April, and we
- 14:04Speaker 1: are fully expecting to see Hulk Hogan appear at WrestleMania
- 14:09Speaker 1: in April large way exactly.
- 14:11Speaker 3: You know, we saw undertake a die several times and
- 14:15Speaker 3: then come back, you know, so and then Cain too.
- 14:19Speaker 3: You know, Cain got sent to Hell, so he died,
- 14:21Speaker 3: but he came back too, so correct.
- 14:24Speaker 1: You know, we are expecting potentially for Hulk Hogan to
- 14:29Speaker 1: also come back in time for WrestleMania. And you know,
- 14:33Speaker 1: as we said earlier this year, you know, Hulk Hogan
- 14:36Speaker 1: did go away and come back as Hollywood Hogan. Now
- 14:40Speaker 1: it would make sense for him to come back as
- 14:42Speaker 1: Heavenly Hogan.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Yep, exactly, he.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Comes back, he says, Hey, you thought I was dead.
- 14:48Speaker 1: I'm back, brother, but I'm back, and I also have
- 14:50Speaker 1: the powers of God behind me. And all of a sudden,
- 14:54Speaker 1: you know he's invincible and he's fighting for another ten
- 14:56Speaker 1: more years.
- 14:57Speaker 2: You know what is show that would be?
- 15:00Speaker 1: I already ordered the pay per view. That's how sure
- 15:03Speaker 1: I am of this.
- 15:05Speaker 2: I can't wait. I can't wait.
- 15:07Speaker 1: I can't wait either, Tony. In fact, let's just move
- 15:10Speaker 1: on forget that. We'll move on to another one, because
- 15:12Speaker 1: that one shouldn't even count. But so when we did
- 15:16Speaker 1: lose Cubs great Ryan Sandberg, Now, Tony, I don't want
- 15:22Speaker 1: to ruin the mood here, but I have to say
- 15:24Speaker 1: something that is just so shameful. Right in preparation for
- 15:30Speaker 1: this memoriam, I went onto Google to look up Ryan Sandberg. Okay,
- 15:35Speaker 1: I type in his name, right, Ryan Sandberg. There is
- 15:39Speaker 1: not one article, no, this man died, not one single
- 15:45Speaker 1: article about Ryan Sandberg completely on the entire into. It
- 15:52Speaker 1: seals me disrespecting the departed like this.
- 15:57Speaker 5: No, that's not That's not what I'm doing. How did
- 16:00Speaker 5: you spell Ryan?
- 16:02Speaker 2: What do you mean? How do we spell right?
- 16:04Speaker 1: Like anybody would? Dum r ya n.
- 16:07Speaker 5: Bro No, Ryan Samberg spells it r y n E.
- 16:15Speaker 5: That's why you didn't find anything.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Oh yeah, well you know who also didn't find anything?
- 16:22Speaker 1: Any woman who's ever looked down your pants?
- 16:25Speaker 4: Now, please stop disrespecting the dead as we honor them.
- 16:28Speaker 1: All right, moving on to another name, we lost one
- 16:31Speaker 1: of the greatest home run hitters of our time, Roy Hobbes.
- 16:36Speaker 1: And you know, Tony, he was and remains the only
- 16:40Speaker 1: player to hit a baseball so far that it went
- 16:45Speaker 1: into the scoreboard and broke the lights, you know, And
- 16:49Speaker 1: you know, has anyone did David Ortiz ever do that?
- 16:52Speaker 2: Never?
- 16:53Speaker 1: No, never, Manny Ramirez, No no.
- 16:56Speaker 2: Aaron Judge never, never came floe, Nope.
- 17:00Speaker 1: But Roy Hobbs did that.
- 17:02Speaker 2: Yep.
- 17:03Speaker 1: You know a lot of people forget. You know, he
- 17:06Speaker 1: had a second career after playing baseball. You know, he
- 17:09Speaker 1: got into he got into acting in Hollywood, and of
- 17:13Speaker 1: course he had to change his name. These fancy schmancy
- 17:17Speaker 1: Hollywood producers didn't like his name Roy Hobbs, so they
- 17:21Speaker 1: forced him to change it to Robert Redford. Now, he
- 17:25Speaker 1: went on to have a stellar, long career, but still,
- 17:30Speaker 1: despite all his accomplishments, hitting a baseball into the scoreboard.
- 17:35Speaker 2: He have a topped it.
- 17:37Speaker 1: Nothing ever adopped it. Okay, now we must move to
- 17:40Speaker 1: another luminary we lost in twenty twenty five, the beautiful
- 17:45Speaker 1: Lonnie Anderson. And you know, Donny, there's just so much
- 17:50Speaker 1: that could be said about Lonnie Anderson, you know, just
- 17:55Speaker 1: so much, Dallans really, you know.
- 17:57Speaker 4: And when you think of Lonnie Anderson, you have to
- 18:00Speaker 4: think about her body of work.
- 18:04Speaker 2: Just a terrific body.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean you can name all the things she
- 18:08Speaker 1: was in. Of course w KOP in Cincinnati, and you know, well,
- 18:16Speaker 1: I think they brought back w KP in like a
- 18:19Speaker 1: second show they did, they tried maybe, you know, like
- 18:24Speaker 1: it was like a reboot something he did the reboot
- 18:27Speaker 1: and then oh, I think there was like some kind
- 18:31Speaker 1: of reunion at a convention center in Tulsa for w KRP.
- 18:39Speaker 2: I wanted to go to that.
- 18:40Speaker 1: Yeah, And if memory serves, I believe she was seated
- 18:43Speaker 1: at the convention next to Billy Connolly, who played the
- 18:47Speaker 1: teacher on Head of the class when they replaced the
- 18:50Speaker 1: other teacher, which eventually got the show canceled unfortunately.
- 18:57Speaker 4: And also I think she foughed Burt Reynolds if I'm
- 19:00Speaker 4: not mistaken.
- 19:02Speaker 1: He admired her body of.
- 19:04Speaker 2: Work absolutely as we all did.
- 19:07Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, and okay, Well moving on. Now we go
- 19:11Speaker 1: to the world of music where we lost the great
- 19:15Speaker 1: sly Stone. And like most people, when I heard the news,
- 19:21Speaker 1: I was very worried that Sylvester Stallone had died. But
- 19:26Speaker 1: then I was very relieved when I found out it
- 19:29Speaker 1: was only sly Stone, who I had never heard of.
- 19:33Speaker 4: Up to that point, I didn't know, but I was
- 19:37Speaker 4: also very.
- 19:37Speaker 1: Relieved, very relieved that Sylvester salone is still alive. And well,
- 19:44Speaker 1: sly Stone not alive or will. Yeah. Anyway, we must
- 19:50Speaker 1: move on to a figure skater, a man named Dick Button. Now,
- 19:58Speaker 1: I admittedly I also have no idea who Dick Button was.
- 20:04Speaker 1: But when I saw that Dick Button had died, I
- 20:07Speaker 1: was very confused because I started to believe that there
- 20:12Speaker 1: was such a thing as a dick button, you know, Tony, Yeah,
- 20:16Speaker 1: me too.
- 20:17Speaker 4: You know, I thought to myself, how great would it
- 20:20Speaker 4: be if they have to drink in a lot of
- 20:21Speaker 4: water you were running to the bathroom. How convenient would
- 20:25Speaker 4: it be if there was just a dick button you
- 20:28Speaker 4: could press and your dick came out. Wouldn't that be something.
- 20:34Speaker 1: Oh see, that's very interesting, Tony, because when I heard
- 20:38Speaker 1: dick button, I thought it was like a decorative item
- 20:42Speaker 1: that you would place on your penis, you know, like
- 20:45Speaker 1: some type of pin, you know. And I thought that
- 20:48Speaker 1: must be very painful to put a pin inside.
- 20:52Speaker 4: Yeah, on your penis.
- 20:53Speaker 1: Yeah. And you know, did this man die because he
- 20:56Speaker 1: tried to insert a button into his pen Is that
- 21:00Speaker 1: what happened?
- 21:01Speaker 2: Because of death?
- 21:02Speaker 1: You know?
- 21:02Speaker 4: But I want to circle back to the dick button
- 21:05Speaker 4: pants idea for a moment, if I may.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Sure, Yes, who.
- 21:09Speaker 4: Has time to unbutton and unzip their pants and lower
- 21:14Speaker 4: their underwear when you have to go to the bathroom
- 21:17Speaker 4: so badly? Imagine replacing that with a button, a dick
- 21:23Speaker 4: button that you press and voila, your dick pops out.
- 21:28Speaker 4: I feel like this is a billion dollar idea, you.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Know, Tony, I agree with you, And in fact, I
- 21:34Speaker 1: think the best way to honor the legacy of dick
- 21:37Speaker 1: button is to now go and patent an actual dick button,
- 21:42Speaker 1: maybe call it dick buttons dick button, you know, just
- 21:46Speaker 1: to trade off the legacy.
- 21:47Speaker 2: You know, of this great a way to honor the legacy.
- 21:50Speaker 1: Absolutely, and well, we Unfortunately we are short on time.
- 21:54Speaker 1: We have to move on. When you're going to end
- 21:57Speaker 1: with Mets manager Davy Johnson, Now, Tony, you actually have
- 22:03Speaker 1: a special story about a meeting you had or run
- 22:07Speaker 1: in you had with Davy johnsonmont At you tell the people.
- 22:12Speaker 4: I remember as a kid, my dad got tickets for
- 22:14Speaker 4: us to see the Mets at Phillies and before the game,
- 22:17Speaker 4: we decided to go to White Castle to get some lunch.
- 22:21Speaker 4: And we were in the drive through and this car
- 22:23Speaker 4: in front of us was taken so long. So my
- 22:26Speaker 4: dad says, what the hell is this guy doing? And
- 22:29Speaker 4: he just laid the horn on him. Then the guy
- 22:32Speaker 4: stuck his hand out the window and gave us the
- 22:35Speaker 4: middle finger, and my dad said, wait a second, that's
- 22:38Speaker 4: Davy Johnson. So my dad flows it and rear ends
- 22:43Speaker 4: his car so hard that it actually sent him flying
- 22:47Speaker 4: through his front windshield. So me and my dad get
- 22:50Speaker 4: out of the car and walk over to the windshield
- 22:53Speaker 4: and my dad grabs him and says, you, Davy Johnson,
- 22:57Speaker 4: you can hack and he grabbed. He says, you never
- 23:01Speaker 4: should have won a World Series. You can lose a
- 23:05Speaker 4: and then Davey Johnson looks up at us and says again,
- 23:08Speaker 4: it's Davey Johnson.
- 23:10Speaker 1: Yo.
- 23:11Speaker 4: No, sooy, Davy Johnson. You're soy, Saul. And then that's
- 23:16Speaker 4: when I realized, wait a minute, that's not Davey Johnson.
- 23:21Speaker 4: David Johnson would never have given us the middle finger,
- 23:24Speaker 4: He would never have acted that way. That day really
- 23:28Speaker 4: showed me who Davey Johnson was and also who he wasn't.
- 23:35Speaker 1: Just such a beautiful tribute to Davy Johnson. Yeah, and
- 23:40Speaker 1: you know, to all the luminaries that we lost in
- 23:44Speaker 1: twenty twenty five, and well, Tony, it's on that note,
- 23:50Speaker 1: we must close out the show and say goodbye to
- 23:54Speaker 1: the year.
- 23:55Speaker 4: And you know, make sure you go to the merch
- 23:58Speaker 4: store by all the merch.
- 24:02Speaker 2: No, are you hearing me?
- 24:05Speaker 1: A somber moment, trying to close the show.
- 24:08Speaker 2: We'll having a moment.
- 24:10Speaker 1: What what do you want? Corrections? Corrections now, you know
- 24:16Speaker 1: you're so rude, You're so rude, just spitting on the graves.
- 24:19Speaker 5: What what you said? The Sylvester Stallone movie Over the
- 24:24Speaker 5: Top was one of the most successful films of the
- 24:27Speaker 5: nineteen eighties.
- 24:28Speaker 2: Yeah, classic, bro, all time up Bro.
- 24:32Speaker 5: It's considered one of the biggest bombs of the nineteen eighties.
- 24:36Speaker 5: It only made sixteen million dollars at the box office
- 24:39Speaker 5: and it finished fourth place the weekend that came out.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Oh yeah, well, I'm going to put the biggest bomb
- 24:47Speaker 1: of the twenty twenties in your apartment.
- 24:50Speaker 3: Yeah, and we're going to make a movie about you.
- 24:53Speaker 3: It's not going to be called over the top. It's
- 24:55Speaker 3: going to be called under the ground.
- 24:58Speaker 1: Oh okay for that.
- 25:00Speaker 2: Yeah, what what.
- 25:04Speaker 5: You said the ex Michigan coach was Sharony Moore?
- 25:08Speaker 2: Yeah, bro, so.
- 25:12Speaker 5: His name is Sharon Moore. Maybe you should try watching
- 25:15Speaker 5: the news once in a while.
- 25:18Speaker 1: Oh yeah, well after the show I'm going through sure,
- 25:23Speaker 1: leeke Gillio.
- 25:25Speaker 3: Oh I see, his name is sharone more just like
- 25:30Speaker 3: your name is Penis Less.
- 25:35Speaker 1: Great one.
- 25:37Speaker 5: What you said the Eagles beating the Raiders was like
- 25:41Speaker 5: the Eagles beating the Taliban.
- 25:43Speaker 3: Yeah, bro, Taliban Raiders both play in a desert.
- 25:47Speaker 1: Yeah, and both have suffered a lot of losses. You know,
- 25:50Speaker 1: Talaban Raiders makes total sense, total sense.
- 25:53Speaker 5: No, it makes no sense. Honestly, that might be the
- 25:57Speaker 5: dumbest take you've had all year. In fact, it's the
- 26:01Speaker 5: dumbest thing I've heard anyone say. My entire life.
- 26:06Speaker 1: Hold on a moment. Are you defending the Taliban?
- 26:11Speaker 5: Cool?
- 26:12Speaker 3: You know, Poorly, Come to think of it, he's a
- 26:15Speaker 3: virgin who terrorizes our show. He is Taliban, he's down,
- 26:20Speaker 3: he's on.
- 26:24Speaker 1: You get a great way to close out? Ah yeah,
- 26:28Speaker 1: with your producer now going to guantanamo.
