- 0:02Speaker 1: In July twenty twenty, the granddaughter of a Manson family
- 0:05Speaker 1: victim was discovered by a friend deceased in her Colorado apartment.
- 0:11Speaker 1: Arianna Woke had been brutally stabbed to death, meeting the
- 0:15Speaker 1: same violent end as that suffered by her grandmother five
- 0:18Speaker 1: decades earlier. Neighbors recounted seeing Ariana earlier in the day,
- 0:24Speaker 1: and she was not alone. What these witnesses told detectives
- 0:29Speaker 1: was not only revealing, but also deeply disturbing. Hi there,
- 0:37Speaker 1: I'm Kevin, and welcome to Just Thought Lounge. Today's case
- 0:41Speaker 1: takes us to Colorado in twenty twenty, but the details,
- 0:45Speaker 1: unfortunately hearken back to a brutal murder that took place
- 0:49Speaker 1: in California five decades earlier. The details surrounding this case
- 0:54Speaker 1: are far less well known, yet some are chillingly similar
- 0:58Speaker 1: and equally strange. Let's take a look. On Friday, July third,
- 1:18Speaker 1: just before nine thirty pm, a call was placed to
- 1:21Speaker 1: Denver nine one one from a resident of an apartment
- 1:23Speaker 1: building on North Oneida Street. The caller explained that a
- 1:27Speaker 1: man had knocked on their door moments earlier, stating that
- 1:30Speaker 1: they arrived at the unit upstairs to find their friend
- 1:33Speaker 1: who lived there dead.
- 1:40Speaker 2: And then I went to my house which is on
- 1:42Speaker 2: just about Mountain six day and I was there the
- 1:47Speaker 2: whole time, so I just came back.
- 1:48Speaker 3: You walked inside.
- 1:51Speaker 4: The back room was open, and I.
- 2:04Speaker 2: Stay down here and asked her to call because my
- 2:06Speaker 2: son's actually in her room.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Forty year old Ariana Woke was found on her bedroom
- 2:12Speaker 1: floor near the closet. The single mother of a young son,
- 2:16Speaker 1: was pronounced dead by paramedics upon their arrival. She had
- 2:20Speaker 1: suffered nearly twenty stab wounds, many to her back and neck.
- 2:25Speaker 1: The friend who had discovered Ariana told officers on scene
- 2:29Speaker 1: that she had been struggling recently with alcohol addiction. They
- 2:32Speaker 1: were staying at the apartment temporarily to assist her sobriety.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Ariana's son was with other family on the night of
- 2:39Speaker 1: her death. That day, she had plans to attend a
- 2:42Speaker 1: barbecue with her boyfriend earlier.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Today was where I led. She was like, and I
- 2:49Speaker 2: was like, no, I need to go home. I change
- 2:52Speaker 2: anything in two days. So I said, I'm going, and
- 2:56Speaker 2: she was supposed to be going to City Park to
- 2:58Speaker 2: see too.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Barb Officers then spoke with the neighbor who called nine
- 3:06Speaker 1: one one. That individual had seen Ariana earlier in the
- 3:10Speaker 1: day and she had not been alone. The neighbor described
- 3:14Speaker 1: the man that she saw with Ariana that night.
- 3:18Speaker 5: So what time today did you see him?
- 3:23Speaker 3: He was the light outside, dark outside.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Yeah, I was told by blind to nine and I
- 3:28Speaker 2: saw him. I looked out the back window and he
- 3:30Speaker 2: was there, and he went around the back park.
- 3:33Speaker 3: He came in, went into the ground. The white guy, guy, black, white, white.
- 3:42Speaker 1: The downstairs neighbor told the officer un scene that the
- 3:45Speaker 1: unknown man knocked on her door around eight forty five pm.
- 3:49Speaker 1: He wanted to speak with her about what he said
- 3:52Speaker 1: was Arianna's strange behavior.
- 3:57Speaker 4: Twice, and he asked you could I come up? Can
- 3:59Speaker 4: I talk to you about to do it right?
- 4:02Speaker 6: You know?
- 4:03Speaker 3: And he says, well, I don't like she's a weird
- 4:06Speaker 3: and everything to her.
- 4:07Speaker 7: But he said she was, you know, acting strange.
- 4:13Speaker 3: Okay, he said, okay, he went back up stand but he.
- 4:16Speaker 4: Said he was reading.
- 4:17Speaker 8: Okay.
- 4:18Speaker 4: But later I saw him in the backroom the dog.
- 4:25Speaker 1: So that was that. After stating that Ariana was a
- 4:32Speaker 1: threat to herself, the man said he was leaving, except
- 4:36Speaker 1: he didn't. The neighbor saw him in the backyard just
- 4:39Speaker 1: a half an hour later, and he was shirtless. It
- 4:42Speaker 1: was only fifteen minutes after that Arianna's friend found her
- 4:46Speaker 1: on the bedroom floor. Arianna had lived on Oneida Street
- 4:56Speaker 1: alone for only a short time. Her on again, off
- 4:59Speaker 1: again boyfriend had moved out only a few months prior
- 5:02Speaker 1: to her death. Described by friends as a sweet person
- 5:05Speaker 1: and a loving mother, she was known for her generous spirit,
- 5:09Speaker 1: her silliness, and positive personality. Ariana was born on Easy
- 5:14Speaker 1: Street in Penn Valley, California, into a family that had
- 5:17Speaker 1: experienced tragedy years before. In August nineteen sixty nine, her mother,
- 5:24Speaker 1: Susan Laberge, had discovered her own mother, Rosemary, and stepfather
- 5:28Speaker 1: Lino LaBianca, brutally murdered in their Los Angeles home, victims
- 5:33Speaker 1: of Charles Manson and his followers. The LaBianca murders took
- 5:39Speaker 1: place the night following the infamous killing of actress Sharon
- 5:42Speaker 1: Tate and four of her companions. Manson was reportedly unhappy
- 5:47Speaker 1: with how the Tape murders had gone down too much
- 5:49Speaker 1: panic insufficient weapons, so the next night he took the
- 5:53Speaker 1: four murderers from the night before, as well as two
- 5:56Speaker 1: more followers in search of another house to break into,
- 6:00Speaker 1: more people to murder. For reasons that are debated, he
- 6:04Speaker 1: chose the home of Lino LaBianca, who was a wealthy
- 6:07Speaker 1: grocery store executive. He and wife Rosemary, Ariana's grandmother, were
- 6:12Speaker 1: brutally murdered. Rosemary was found in the living room, Lino
- 6:17Speaker 1: in the bedroom. Each had been stabbed dozens of times.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Ariana was born in nineteen seventy nine, ten years after
- 6:36Speaker 1: the killings. At forty years old, she was just two
- 6:39Speaker 1: years older than her grandmother had been when she too
- 6:42Speaker 1: was stabbed to death in her home. Shortly after officers
- 6:49Speaker 1: secured the scene and began interviewing witnesses, detectives arrived. They
- 6:53Speaker 1: found what appeared to be a trail of blood beginning
- 6:56Speaker 1: in the bedroom, through the living room on the floor,
- 6:59Speaker 1: and leading into the kitchen. There was a folding knife
- 7:02Speaker 1: with blood on it in the kitchen sink, as well
- 7:04Speaker 1: as residue on the faucet. The obvious suspect was Arianna's
- 7:09Speaker 1: sometimes boyfriend, a man named Patrick. Friends reported that she
- 7:13Speaker 1: was meant to meet with him that day. There was
- 7:16Speaker 1: also a history of domestic violence in their relationship. In fact,
- 7:21Speaker 1: Patrick was on pre trial release from an incident that
- 7:25Speaker 1: took place between the two of them in May of
- 7:27Speaker 1: that year. Since then, he had been living out of
- 7:31Speaker 1: his car. Patrick sat down with detectives the day following
- 7:35Speaker 1: the murder.
- 7:39Speaker 8: Were you at anywhere near you and Ice Street address?
- 7:42Speaker 8: At early yesterday?
- 7:43Speaker 3: Closest I was was the Walgreens? Okay?
- 7:49Speaker 4: What time was that?
- 7:53Speaker 3: Two three o'clock, like right after that barbecue?
- 7:59Speaker 8: Did you have any contact with Arianna yesterday in person?
- 8:02Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 8:02Speaker 8: I did at the Walgreens.
- 8:03Speaker 9: Yeah, and at the Walgreens or another business nearby Walgreens?
- 8:07Speaker 3: Okay, can you do me you real quick?
- 8:10Speaker 8: Keepe your hands out like that for me, and then
- 8:12Speaker 8: can you check your hands over?
- 8:16Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 8:18Speaker 1: Patrick told the detective that he spoke with Ariana briefly
- 8:21Speaker 1: at a Walgreens the afternoon before she died. She seemed
- 8:25Speaker 1: to have been drinking, he said, and was too inebriated
- 8:27Speaker 1: to continue with their plans, so he left. He also
- 8:31Speaker 1: introduced another line of inquiry. Patrick stated that Ariana was
- 8:36Speaker 1: quick to make new friends. He claimed that she had
- 8:39Speaker 1: a habit of inviting strangers back to her apartment. Often
- 8:42Speaker 1: these were individuals without a home of their own. According
- 8:46Speaker 1: to Patrick, she befriended random people on the street.
- 8:51Speaker 10: The thing with Ariana is if she gets intoxicated, she
- 8:54Speaker 10: brings some people.
- 8:55Speaker 8: Okay, vay grants.
- 8:58Speaker 10: I mean I used to be like a homeless and
- 9:01Speaker 10: so like she would bring home people and complete strangers
- 9:07Speaker 10: and just put trust in them.
- 9:11Speaker 6: What do you mean by that, Like, here's my debit card,
- 9:16Speaker 6: go to the store, like okay, no thought process when
- 9:20Speaker 6: drinking about people taking advantage or doing.
- 9:23Speaker 4: Stuff like that.
- 9:25Speaker 10: So how often is she bringing people to the house frequent?
- 9:31Speaker 8: Like daily?
- 9:31Speaker 3: Okay?
- 9:33Speaker 10: No, it was just like friendly, like I'm trying to.
- 9:36Speaker 8: Feed them, help them out type of okay.
- 9:39Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 9:40Speaker 1: When Patrick encountered Arianna at the Walgreens, he said that
- 9:43Speaker 1: she was with an unknown young man. They had just
- 9:46Speaker 1: met on the street while on her way to the store.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Only minutes before.
- 9:53Speaker 8: Was she with anyone.
- 9:54Speaker 10: She was intoxicated, and she was with like a younger
- 9:57Speaker 10: twenty year old kid.
- 9:59Speaker 3: You look like like the.
- 10:03Speaker 10: Kind of flamboyant dark dark hair, white black, hispanic, oh white,
- 10:11Speaker 10: you're seeing flamboyant?
- 10:13Speaker 3: Soay? I mean.
- 10:15Speaker 10: Like he just had like like like a gayer stylish haircut.
- 10:19Speaker 9: I'm trying to not be drawing forward, You're saying younger, Like, how.
- 10:24Speaker 3: Twenty she said. She was like, Oh I met this okay,
- 10:27Speaker 3: twenty year old blah blah blah blah blah.
- 10:29Speaker 8: She was like, do you know what he was wearing.
- 10:32Speaker 10: I might have had a red shirt, but I mean
- 10:35Speaker 10: I just briefly saw him.
- 10:36Speaker 8: Did she introduce him?
- 10:38Speaker 3: She did, but I don't remember his name.
- 10:40Speaker 10: She met him supposedly walking from one night at the Walgreens.
- 10:44Speaker 3: Okay.
- 10:45Speaker 1: While detectives spoke with Patrick, they also verified his alibi.
- 10:49Speaker 1: One condition of his pre trial release was an ankle monitor.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Pre Trial services tracked Patrick's GPS from that device on
- 10:57Speaker 1: the day of the murder and found that he was
- 10:59Speaker 1: not at Ariana's address at any time. He was eliminated
- 11:04Speaker 1: as a suspect in her murder. As strange as it seemed,
- 11:09Speaker 1: he was not the only one to tell detectives that
- 11:12Speaker 1: Ariana had a habit of inviting vacrants to her home.
- 11:16Speaker 1: Returning to the neighbors in her building, They spoke with
- 11:19Speaker 1: the son of one tenant who was frequently visiting the
- 11:21Speaker 1: downstairs apartment. He not only confirmed that seeing Ariana with
- 11:26Speaker 1: new people regularly was common, but he also described seeing
- 11:30Speaker 1: a man that matched the description provided by Patrick.
- 11:35Speaker 6: You know.
- 11:38Speaker 4: New faces well that she had every day.
- 12:00Speaker 8: Uh did you see the neighbor at the house?
- 12:03Speaker 3: Uh?
- 12:03Speaker 4: Yes, she was coming from the.
- 12:06Speaker 7: The liquer store, I guess, okay, and she was she
- 12:10Speaker 7: had to go walk walking the door, okay?
- 12:12Speaker 4: Did was she with anyone else at that time?
- 12:15Speaker 3: No?
- 12:16Speaker 4: Did you hear.
- 12:17Speaker 3: Somebody else or see somebody else?
- 12:19Speaker 4: Seeing this guy? And I've never seen before? My mom says,
- 12:22Speaker 4: you see, okay, what do you look like? It was
- 12:25Speaker 4: a Mexican gun with a box hout. I seen him
- 12:29Speaker 4: real good. When you know, she felt unstead here on
- 12:33Speaker 4: in the like the back door, okay, I.
- 12:37Speaker 7: Mean her foot was playing on the top. I don't okay, football,
- 12:43Speaker 7: you know from the top. It was on the top.
- 12:47Speaker 7: And I said, oh, did you push you? Did you
- 12:49Speaker 7: just push her? And he said no, she said no,
- 12:54Speaker 7: he's gay.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Surveillance video from a camera on East cool Fax Avenue
- 13:00Speaker 1: in North Monaco Street at five fifteen pm on July
- 13:04Speaker 1: third showed Ariana walking eastbound on the street in the
- 13:08Speaker 1: company of a man with black hair. Her friend's small
- 13:11Speaker 1: dog walked with them. The man was wearing all black
- 13:15Speaker 1: with bright red shoes. They were captured crossing the street
- 13:18Speaker 1: and continuing in the direction of Ariana's apartment on Oneida
- 13:23Speaker 1: On Colfax Street, the two had entered a store that
- 13:26Speaker 1: was equipped with internal security cameras. Still images from these
- 13:29Speaker 1: cameras showed the man in black carrying a clear plastic
- 13:33Speaker 1: Starbucks cup filled with a pink drink. He also had
- 13:36Speaker 1: a distinctive tattoo on his left forearm. It was the
- 13:40Speaker 1: Starbucks cup that detectives narrowed in on. One similar to
- 13:44Speaker 1: it had been discarded on the front yard of Ariana's
- 13:46Speaker 1: building and spotted by officers. That cup was later recovered
- 13:51Speaker 1: from the lawn and sent for testing. Fingerprints pulled from
- 13:54Speaker 1: the plastic returned a match. Jose Sondeval Romero was twenty
- 14:00Speaker 1: four years old with a matching build to the man
- 14:02Speaker 1: in the surveillance. He had short, dark brown hair and
- 14:07Speaker 1: a red tattoo on his arm, which appeared to match
- 14:10Speaker 1: the one captured on camera. On July seventh, Jose was
- 14:15Speaker 1: brought into the station for questioning. Unlike Patrick, who had
- 14:19Speaker 1: no visible cuts or scratches on his hands or arms,
- 14:22Speaker 1: Jose had two separate, partially heeled cuts to his right
- 14:26Speaker 1: hand it was a telltale sign consistent with a knife
- 14:30Speaker 1: slipping as he made stabbing motions. These cuts were also
- 14:35Speaker 1: thought to be the cause of the blood droplets observed
- 14:37Speaker 1: on the living room and kitchen floors at the murder scene.
- 14:41Speaker 1: Complaining of light sensitivity, Jose wore his sunglasses for most
- 14:45Speaker 1: of the interview. He began by explaining how he had
- 14:48Speaker 1: encountered Ariana that afternoon while she was arguing with Patrick.
- 14:53Speaker 3: And then all of a sudden, this lady and his
- 14:55Speaker 3: guy were fighting outside of the walgings when the lady
- 14:59Speaker 3: started coming up to me asking me like are you like,
- 15:02Speaker 3: are you okay? And I'm like, uh, do I know you?
- 15:07Speaker 3: Is that your boyfriend right there is he's gonna try
- 15:08Speaker 3: to beat me up if I talk to you. The
- 15:11Speaker 3: boy friend got out the car and you don't try
- 15:13Speaker 3: to talk to her. But she said that he had
- 15:15Speaker 3: like a restraining order on her or something or ankle bracelet,
- 15:20Speaker 3: and I was like, you don't need to cry, it's okay.
- 15:23Speaker 3: She just kept telling me that she wanted to put
- 15:26Speaker 3: some type of drug in me, because she said that
- 15:28Speaker 3: she does these type of drugs to herself. She says
- 15:32Speaker 3: she puts fog poison in her body, and she says
- 15:35Speaker 3: that she wanted me to go with her and do
- 15:37Speaker 3: the same thing, and I told her, no, I don't
- 15:40Speaker 3: know nothing about that stuff.
- 15:41Speaker 8: What Walgreens you're talking about is the one that's next
- 15:43Speaker 8: to frosted leaf? Is that the walgreens you're talking about? Yeah, okay,
- 15:51Speaker 8: So you.
- 15:51Speaker 9: Say you run into this lady and this guy, so
- 15:54Speaker 9: they're arguing, so he ends up leaving and then you guys.
- 16:01Speaker 1: Jose said that after Patrick left, he and Ariana purchased
- 16:05Speaker 1: food for a man they encountered in the alleyway. After that,
- 16:08Speaker 1: he was compelled to help her home because she did
- 16:11Speaker 1: not appear capable of getting there on her own. He
- 16:14Speaker 1: continued to insist that he did not want to go
- 16:16Speaker 1: with her, that her strange references to feeding him frog
- 16:20Speaker 1: poison frightened him.
- 16:22Speaker 3: And then we went and gave the bumb of food.
- 16:26Speaker 3: And then from there she kept stumbling on the ground
- 16:31Speaker 3: and she had a dog and a bunch of stuff
- 16:34Speaker 3: carrying her. She's like, I cannot go home by myself.
- 16:36Speaker 3: Please you could come, And I'm like, miss I really
- 16:41Speaker 3: don't want to hang out with you. There's something wrong
- 16:44Speaker 3: with you. You have so much stuff, and for some reason,
- 16:46Speaker 3: you just keep stumbling on the ground.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Jose did agree to help Ariana home. Once inside, he
- 16:53Speaker 1: made her a cup of tea. He claimed to be
- 16:55Speaker 1: unaware that she was intoxicated, primarily because he did not
- 16:59Speaker 1: see her actually consume any alcohol. He did, however, know
- 17:04Speaker 1: that something was not quite right making some.
- 17:07Speaker 3: Tea, makes in coffee. Let me do anything that make
- 17:10Speaker 3: you feel better. And I started making her coffee tea,
- 17:13Speaker 3: and she would just keep crying, and she would just
- 17:16Speaker 3: keep trying to fight with me. And at some point
- 17:19Speaker 3: she just started like actually trying to fight with me.
- 17:22Speaker 3: And after that, I just I just kind of lost it,
- 17:27Speaker 3: and you know, and there's kind of just self said.
- 17:33Speaker 1: The portion of the story that Jose believed was self
- 17:36Speaker 1: explanatory was that he proceeded to stab Ariana multiple times
- 17:42Speaker 1: in the back. They had met only hours earlier. At first,
- 17:47Speaker 1: the twenty four year old claimed that he had tried
- 17:49Speaker 1: to leave. He went to the downstairs neighbor and told
- 17:52Speaker 1: her that Ariana was acting strangely. He claimed this was
- 17:56Speaker 1: in order to help her so he could leave, knowing
- 17:59Speaker 1: that the paper would check in on her later.
- 18:02Speaker 3: And then I went downstairs told me the hey, it
- 18:05Speaker 3: is crazy. I gotta go, like, there's something wrong with her.
- 18:08Speaker 3: In a couple of hours, can you come and check
- 18:10Speaker 3: up on her? I was like, I'm trying to go.
- 18:12Speaker 3: I'm not trying to comfort this girl. I'm trying to go.
- 18:15Speaker 3: Can you go and check up on her. She's like,
- 18:17Speaker 3: you see, that's the thing about hers. Where were and
- 18:21Speaker 3: we're scared of her? And we don't we don't know
- 18:24Speaker 3: if she was like, I'll just call it cops because
- 18:27Speaker 3: I'm not going to be dealing with her. That's not
- 18:29Speaker 3: I'm too old, and and I'm like, okay.
- 18:34Speaker 1: But instead of leaving, he went back to the apartment.
- 18:38Speaker 1: Then he said that Ariana began messing with his head.
- 18:42Speaker 3: I just I don't know how she did it. And
- 18:44Speaker 3: she just played me. She pretty much. I don't know
- 18:49Speaker 3: why she fucking pulled me to go with her. Is
- 18:51Speaker 3: that he literally picked me her from the street, and
- 18:54Speaker 3: she made me feel bad. And every time I would
- 18:56Speaker 3: leave her, she would stumble on the ground and made
- 18:58Speaker 3: me feel bad, and every time and said, no, I
- 19:00Speaker 3: got a girl, since he's not right with you, And
- 19:03Speaker 3: then she was stumbling on the ground and cry and
- 19:05Speaker 3: she was just stumbled on the ground and cry and
- 19:08Speaker 3: I just I don't know. She just played me. She
- 19:12Speaker 3: played me, but I pretty much played myself by listening.
- 19:18Speaker 3: I'm telling you, she drug me like she drug.
- 19:24Speaker 1: Jose told detectives a confusing cocktail of motives for the killing.
- 19:28Speaker 1: His overarching assertion was that Ariana convinced him to kill her.
- 19:33Speaker 1: He claimed they came to an agreement about it, and
- 19:36Speaker 1: that in a matter of only a few hours, he
- 19:38Speaker 1: came to believe it was the only way to help her.
- 19:42Speaker 1: But he played with the idea that he was defending
- 19:45Speaker 1: himself by claiming that she threatened him that her boyfriend
- 19:49Speaker 1: was on his way to the apartment with another man
- 19:51Speaker 1: and they planned to kill him. Finally, he asserted that
- 19:55Speaker 1: Ariana had abruptly turned violent, at one point, coming at
- 19:59Speaker 1: him with the knife. He managed to fight her off,
- 20:02Speaker 1: though the attack made him angry, so he used the
- 20:06Speaker 1: knife to stab Ariana.
- 20:09Speaker 3: And the only way to help her was apparently her
- 20:13Speaker 3: crazy way he help kill her.
- 20:15Speaker 9: Yeah, So when she's talking me about that, you kind
- 20:19Speaker 9: of you're telling me, and again, correct me if I'm
- 20:22Speaker 9: not understanding you.
- 20:23Speaker 8: What you're saying is you thought the only way to
- 20:25Speaker 8: help her was to kill her.
- 20:28Speaker 3: She was gonna have her boyfriend show up, and then
- 20:30Speaker 3: she called her boyfriend and I don't know what they
- 20:32Speaker 3: talked about, but she pretty much told me that, like
- 20:35Speaker 3: we were going to die.
- 20:36Speaker 4: End it.
- 20:37Speaker 3: Okay, she talked me into it and I listened. That's it.
- 20:43Speaker 5: Why didn't you called in one one?
- 20:46Speaker 3: Because her boy she told me her boyfriend and her
- 20:48Speaker 3: gay boyfriend's friend was gonna come and kill me. They
- 20:53Speaker 3: had this plan.

- 20:58Speaker 9: So when you abed her, is it because you were

- 21:07Speaker 3: can get that mixed up.
- 21:09Speaker 1: Jose approached Ariana when she entered her bedroom and was
- 21:13Speaker 1: walking towards her closet. He claimed he stabbed her twice.
- 21:18Speaker 8: So you said, when she walks into the bedroom, she's
- 21:20Speaker 8: walking to her closet. Is that the first time you

- 22:04Speaker 1: his mother's house, watching the door, waiting to see if
- 22:08Speaker 1: law enforcement would find him.
- 22:10Speaker 9: If you have enough thought to get rid of your
- 22:13Speaker 9: bloody clothes, because you're like, I got blood all over
- 22:16Speaker 9: my clothes because I just stabbed this woman to death.
- 22:20Speaker 9: That I think you understood what you were doing. We

- 22:27Speaker 9: take those glasses off. I don't think you're giving us
- 22:36Speaker 9: the whole truth. I think you're trying to spin it

- 23:23Speaker 5: of the worst stabbings I've seen in my twenty.
- 23:25Speaker 3: Three years of law enforcement.
- 23:27Speaker 5: And then you're smart enough to get out of there,
- 23:30Speaker 5: destroy the evidence, evade our efforts to locate you, and
- 23:35Speaker 5: come down to the springs.
