- 0:49Wayne Candy and Happy President's Day here today another holiday for you to loaf.
- 0:58Uh for those who weren't they you know, weren't going to the office anyway.
- 1:03You know, there's a lot of Comanche Greggs out there, just sir,
- 1:07won't go back to the office, have decided home base, flip flops,
- 1:17pajamas. It's their worker time. They're not going back and they don't
- 1:21care. So they got another holiday too to do it. On President's Day.
- 1:26A lot of traffic out, says the bad producer, because he sent
- 1:32us a picture of the traffic because he wanted us to see how deep it
- 1:36was out in the streets. Big Kenny the funny Man himself in here in
- 1:41the o'meago sci fi purple this morning, representing I see you with the see
- 1:47with the purple watch on too, I see the whole, the hole going
- 1:51on. Sometimes sometimes you know what, Sometimes you made the sacrifice. Everybody
- 1:56ain't everybody thank you, sir? Yeah, everybody weren't. Some people didn't
- 2:01even get asked to be on it right at the commands? You are you?
- 2:06Are you a frat guy? No? I'm not. Okay, okay,
- 2:09okay, you give me a lot of alpha. You know I can
- 2:15see you as an alpha. Ah, one of them, one of them
- 2:19dudes. One of them dudes that's on the council. When you're getting kicked
- 2:23off the yard. You want to know, dude, when I'm getting kicked
- 2:25out of school, you wanted the student council members of something. I honestly
- 2:30think, in my opinion, there should be stiffer penalties. You've never seen
- 2:35him on campus the whole time you've been there for six years, never seen
- 2:38commands your on campus. But he just remembers something from freshman year and now
- 2:43he thinks there's ought to be stiffer penalties. Well, good morning to you
- 2:46all. Starry weekend for the NBA is in the books. It is President's
- 2:50Day, it is a Monday. We are rolling into the month of March.
- 2:55You can see buds on some of the trees. So you know our
- 3:00cars here in Atlanta will be covered in pollen here in a couple of weeks,
- 3:05another dreadful month of that pollen for allergies. Just the mere fact that
- 3:12you you get it all over you. You can't eat outside like you just
- 3:16you know, ain't nothing like honey, mustard, lemon, pepper, pollen
- 3:22wings. So when the wings hit the table, gotta hit them quick.
- 3:24Now us let them sit there and be talking. That breeze come through.
- 3:30It's over. It's called sprinkles. But glad to be here. NBA All
- 3:38Star Weekend in the books. Remember now, if you play the lottery,
- 3:43you might want to check your lottery tickets. Florida announced that a thirty six
- 3:50million dollar lottery ticket went unclaimed here last couple of days down in Florida.
- 3:54And I know they were looking for like a four million dollar ticket here in
- 3:59the state of Georgia. So check and check it, you know, and
- 4:03not to be morbid. But if you have a loved one that might you
- 4:08knew played the lottery and you also might have had to uh place them in
- 4:15the ground or cremate them in the last couple of you might want to go
- 4:18check their pockets. That's forty million dollars that's going uncleaned. They wanted you
- 4:25to have that money. I wanted you to have that money, trust me.
- 4:30Now they wanted to go to your brother. I think I think they
- 4:33want to beat it down. Was that was that documented, brother? No,
- 4:38they were going to they thought they had some time see it actually gonna
- 4:41will it too. It ain't documented. That was com That was the conversation
- 4:45we had as it was in the pocket. But underneath the lot you just
- 4:51tore it up. It's it was a letter in the pocket along with the
- 4:56lottery tickets. Now because this money is for your brother. No, because
- 5:00right before he went he said yeah, because before he went he said,
- 5:04hey, don't worry about that ladder like that, and it's not morbid to
- 5:12to do that. I'm I ain't a lot about grave robber. Now,
- 5:16after my dad's past, I went through all his tickets. He had a
- 5:19black a box and just scratch off some different stuff. A couple of them
- 5:23you just like put them to the side. So you know, there are
- 5:25some people that just put there and they go later, but you do have
- 5:29to go through. He had like he had something like that. But when
- 5:30you said that, I'm like, yeah, I did it. Did you
- 5:34find any winners? Yeah? So what I'm saying he had a couple of
- 5:36scratch offs that he didn't But what did you do with the money? Anyway?
- 5:43Man? Come along some sweet peppers that you mean it's President's Day.
- 5:49Yeah, I put the tickets whatever. I wasn't it was two years ago.
- 5:53But what I'm saying is like the some of the ones, he had
- 5:55some actual paper ones also like pre monk mega billions, And I was how
- 6:00much how much did you win? Oh? They wasn't nothing like scratched.
- 6:02It wasn't no big stuff like ten twenty dollars on scratch in the twenty three
- 6:06dollars. But I'm just saying he had tickets aside that he would just like
- 6:12go in. He would always because I would fussy him all the time,
- 6:14say well, Pat, just when I asked those kind of questions, as
- 6:16you kind of punch them off. It could have been something that you did
- 6:20that was like you when it had breakfast at your dad's favorite place in a
- 6:25memory with the thirty dollars. Oh, it could have been any iotrach Off.
- 6:31Okay, that could have been in his honor. He takes all questions
- 6:34in some kind of way him. Well, see, it's well, I'm
- 6:40listening to what you said. Somebody might in the family might want to say,
- 6:43hey, he didn't have claimed that on this stuff or whatever. So
- 6:46you just I didn't get anything, know when you said that. When you
- 6:50asked Greg Ear just a few minutes ago, you said, Greg said,
- 6:55I'm not going to claim that it wasn't on them. He said, that's
- 6:58not There wasn't. What I'm saying, like if it wasn't like in a
- 7:00will, Yeah, it wasn't in a will. So I'm just trying to
- 7:02be the money over giving it to my brother. As far as I know,
- 7:05you are an only child, I know, but you know my mama
- 7:09who would have been I don't know. I'm the one found the letter.
- 7:14I don't care how they feel about divorced. Yeah, but hey man,
- 7:18you know that my mama. I'm gonna tell on her two they're still married.
- 7:23No, but two weeks after he pais she come ask me? I
- 7:25need your dadd so securing to him because you know I was married to him
- 7:27for over twenty years. He was in the military. Yeah, oh,
- 7:30she just I stayed mad at them week. So everybody getting payout, that's
- 7:38all I'm saying. You get some scratch off tickets. You did not have
- 7:43relations with that woman, did you. I did not have relations with that
- 7:48woman in the office. In the office, I'm gonna be honest and off
- 7:53doing. But I ain't saying we have relationship. I'm just saying in an
- 7:58opal office out, good morning, we have a great show for you.
- 8:01A lot of topics to talk about. The Daytona five hundred got postponed,
- 8:05now, is it me or the Daytona been getting postponed frequently here last couple
- 8:13of years for whatever reason. Most of his been weather right, Yeah,
- 8:18a lot of times here. But they will be running that today at four
- 8:22pm. Remember that's the big really the big NASCAR event, the kickoff NASCAR
- 8:28season. But it got postponed until today so you can catch it at four
- 8:33pm. I got to go down to Auburn, Auburn played Kentucky on a
- 8:37Saturday. I really thought we were gonna We played more like we were the
- 8:43visiting team. Now I must give my Auburn fans a salute because in the
- 8:48last thirty years, Auburn basketball on fan base is grown very Seldom you go
- 8:54any arena and a team like a Kentucky or the North Carolina, the Dukes
- 9:01or the Indiana. They're very travel teams. That's why they like those teams
- 9:05to make the tournament because their fans get up and show up. But I
- 9:07was proud of my Auburn Tigers because none of them bought the payoff. It
- 9:13was very few Kentucky people in the building, and typically fans that's when they
- 9:18are very able to make some money on their tickets, taking triple the price
- 9:22for a Kentucky and to come in and go to the game. But I
- 9:26was very because I went to the game like thinking, I know, Kentucky
- 9:31probably bought half the gym, but to see that the Auburn faithful had stood
- 9:35up and it was just a few speckles of Kentucky fans in the crowd,
- 9:43and I was like, wow, we have taken that next step for basketball.
- 9:48I know the football crowd. It is like that to be like,
- 9:52no, I'm not going to take the extra money. Either that or I'll
- 9:56sell you this ticket. Kentucky fan, but you got to wear this Auburn
- 9:58show. You're gonna add a ticket for triple the price, but you're gonna
- 10:01have to wear the T shirt. So it was good to get down to
- 10:05the arena. I got to see the bad producer's boy, Jason Duffner.
- 10:11He's lived down in Auburn. He told me to tell you what's up.
- 10:15Oh he didn't. I'm lying too that part, but it sounded Jason Doffner
- 10:22Auburn, faithful, lives down in Auburn, won the not the Masters,
- 10:24won the PGA Championship back in like twenty fourteen. Somewhere in there here in
- 10:31Atlanta. Is is he looked like he's ready to play this year? Was
- 10:35does he just chill us? No? We talked about retirement, like you
- 10:37know he's dealing with because he's forty seven, forty eight, and you know,
- 10:43even if he goes to the senior tours not as frequent. So good
- 10:48conversations to see that it's not just football or basketball. Anyone that played these
- 10:56sports for that long, right, are in a search of what you do
- 11:03when the thing you have been doing for on thirty years no longer is available.
- 11:09And some of it is the lifestyle, some of it is just waking
- 11:13up with that purpose. But the hero a great golfer of PGA, a
- 11:18top guy that was in the top ten radical a few weeks and all that
- 11:22to say the same kind of I'm trying to find. And this is not
- 11:28one of those I need a dollar for a hamburger. I just don't know
- 11:31what to wake up to do every day. It's just a very interesting conversation
- 11:37to have with him. But we'll be back. We'll talk about the NBA
- 11:41All Star Game. We got to talk about Caitlyn Clark, Britney Griner as
- 11:46well, Tiger Woods being hurt and you know, exit early exit se the
- 11:54Genesis. Yeah, yeah, yes, that's what we'll be back. We'll
- 12:01be back right after this. I said show, I said, don't go
- 12:22away board of the Sports John Show with Wayne Dan Videos coming up next.

- 15:16The Sports Jock Show's taking it to a completely different level this year where we
- 15:22highlight an acolyte that has taken their game to the next level. What's the
- 15:37difference between me and you? Men? You you? What's the difference between
- 15:43me and you? Man? You met? Men Backwood Q Sport Shock Show
- 15:50off The Sport Shock Wayne Dan. Good morning to you out there listening,
- 15:54Land and comand you Greg McKenney to matadoos all in the building, guys,
- 15:58is the prepared for life without Lebron? Yes or no? When you look
- 16:07at them right now, are they prepared for him to leave? No,
- 16:18command Gie, No bad producer. I don't know. It's tough. It's
- 16:30just a yes. It's non question from how to well. But see if
- 16:33I say yeah, it's gonna because I'm being biased. But I have a
- 16:37reason why I say yeah. But yeah, I think they I think they
- 16:38can go okay, And I'm with you, guys, I would say no,
- 16:44they're not, and I think it's would you say no, I think
- 16:48it's their own fault. They've painted themselves into the Lebron corner where everything they've
- 16:53done in the past twenty years that's NBA related has him at the forefront or
- 17:00he meant it somewhere firmly in the middle of that process. Be it something
- 17:04that is controversial, be it something that is supposed to be like that outreach
- 17:10NBA reaching out to the world, becoming a global game. Everything has a
- 17:15Lebron sprinkled to it, and it's going to be hard to sell me that
- 17:18product without that ingredient in it anymore. COMMANDI I looked at you said no,
- 17:26right right. So, looking at as Lebron's being the face of the
- 17:32league, we've seen probably going back to the to the seventies, there's been
- 17:37that one guy who's been the face of the league, that kind of that
- 17:40ambassador. But with that next player that came along, we kind of saw
- 17:45like there was a little bit of overlap, so it wasn't too much of
- 17:49an adjustment like it was Kareem and then we had Magic and Bird and then
- 17:53Jordan and then Kobe and Lebron. Who's that next guy right now that kind
- 18:00of would have that little bit of overlap with Lebron. It's not clear who
- 18:06that is that that young player? Is it women? Yama Zion? I
- 18:10think I felt that was going to be Jahn Morant, but we don't know
- 18:14who that is yet. And I agree with you, and that's why I
- 18:17said no as well. The baton is being handed out, but who is
- 18:22in place to be handed too? And you literally went down how I saw
- 18:30it as far as the passing, that person was already running and they had
- 18:33their hand behind them, right So Magic and Bird Kareem. The faces wilt
- 18:40to Kareem, Kareem to the Magic Bird, Magic Bird too, and Mike
- 18:47and Kobe. Yeah, there was someone and they had and John Morant is
- 18:52in flux. Zion is still in trying to no one. Who is that
- 18:59captivation? Because the next captivating face of the NBA is Steph Curry, But
- 19:03keV Steph Curry is a day or two from knocking the exit. Do it,
- 19:10Okay, open the cage, baby, I'm done, it's over.
- 19:12He's thirty five, thirty six years old. So who is that guy?
- 19:18And I don't know that Yannis could be it, because he doesn't seem that's
- 19:22not his personality. And this has nothing to do with how good of a
- 19:26player you are. This has to do with just that mistique that a lot
- 19:30of that is the willingness to absorb that role, to be that ambassador,
- 19:36to be that even after a game, be gracious and carry yourself in a
- 19:41way that says I am doing this because I'm first and foremost a company man.
- 19:45The brand is what I'm defending. And that guy that sends the people
- 19:49to the mall. I always tell people that you say what you want about
- 19:52the King, the Kobe's, the Michael. These are the people who you
- 19:56know. You didn't just go to the game. You went to the mall
- 20:03to get something new to wear it to the game. I only go I
- 20:07only know one or two. I know Lebron as himself, Golden State as
- 20:12a team, which involves Steph Curry puts that kind of the Clipper game came
- 20:19with four Hall of Famers on it and didn't have the kind of Lebron Golden
- 20:26State right feel to it. So bad Producer you said yes, but I
- 20:32agree with you completely, both of you. A big Kenny. There's no
- 20:36one, I don't see any who's in the hall with their hand back ready
- 20:38to take the baton because he's trying to pass it. He even tried to
- 20:42pass it on the Anthony Davis and it's still in his hand. And there's
- 20:47some names out there, but they're not actually in a position yet. So
- 20:51bad producer when you say, yes, what do you see, like Kenny
- 20:56was saying, as far as the league has backed themselves in the court,
- 21:00because everybody's always Lebron, Lebron, Lebron in the last four or five years.
- 21:04But the great thing about the NBA, what I see, Adam said,
- 21:07when I'm doing the Global and I see the NBA wanting to be more
- 21:11international and global, and I can see Willie Yannis a Luca or a joker.
- 21:18If you're trying to attempting to be global as you have been over the
- 21:21last few years, that's where they're going with it with the NBA, whether
- 21:26it's American, a player born American player here, or whether it's a European
- 21:32player. I really feel that the NBA is really attempting to make the global
- 21:36because of some of the rule changes for rule changes within the game to adjust
- 21:42for these young men when they're coming over from Europe to play here in America.
- 21:48I just don't see people really being drawn to any of the foreign of
- 21:56the And it's interesting that he said that because last night watching the All Star
- 22:00Game, when the Lady sang the Canadian national anthem, there was about a
- 22:04four minute discussion between my wife and I as what is this like? They're
- 22:10playing in Indianapolis, right, why are they singing the Canadian Well, it's
- 22:14an international brand and they actually have teams cemented initially what and for the average
- 22:19American fan that won't sit. Well, you can have people to national anthems
- 22:26that the Super Bowl, I'm saying, but we don't actually have teams in
- 22:32those countries. We the NFL is an American sport that they're transporting overseas.
- 22:41They are actual people now that want to try and make the NBA. The
- 22:45NBA has team in right, That's what I'm saying. So those fans are
- 22:51fans of particular players, not particularly the brand they support. Yeah, most
- 22:56players are. I mean fans are. If you see them, the Lebron
- 23:00fan, they go from team to team. Every Lebron fan got every jersey
- 23:03of every team he's been on. That they're not faithful to the team.
- 23:07And this is not a discussion about whether in the NBA will fail. It
- 23:11is just that there is no one right now. The last eighteen people.
- 23:18Those people are not star studied. Now they could come play and no one
- 23:23is going to stop their day to run down to see. And I think
- 23:30that's what the question is, who is that person? And he hasn't emerged.
- 23:33The talent is there and people like John Moran and even the Kid for
- 23:37Minnesota and Man and Man, but his coverage is small in Minnesota. Reason
- 23:45why a lot of the superstars like the Kevin Garnett's and stuff left there because
- 23:48they couldn't get to that next level. We'll be back with Mortar Sportstock Show
- 23:55right after this and Don't Bow Away or of the Sports Jock Show with Wayne
- 24:11Dan videos coming up next. Attention homeowners, Now is the time to upgrade

- 26:52hundred and eleven points the West one eighty six. This is part of the
- 26:56game where people fade out with the All Star Game NBA All Star Weekend happened.
- 27:03Steph Curry was able to defeat Sabrina Anezku. Sabrina did shoot from the
- 27:10men's three point line in the competition. She used a w NBA ball,
- 27:15which is a couple of little centimeters a little smaller, but it was from
- 27:19the men's three point line. I think the score was twenty six to twenty
- 27:25three or six twenty six in that competition. Damian Lillard won the three point
- 27:33contest for the second year in a row, and Mac McClung won the dunk
- 27:40contest. He's a g leaguer. I think the dunk contest failed itself from
- 27:44the standpoint that it was always centered around people. It's the old dream would
- 27:52Spider Man beat Superman? That was really the dunk contest, And when we
- 27:57started being unrecognizable names or who people really wanted to see dunk against each other
- 28:07and just became more like regular dunk contest, almost like street ball dunk contest.
- 28:17That's how I think they started losing its flavor, and to get it
- 28:19back, it does have to be more of the recognizable ad Yeah, jaw,
- 28:30we would see kind of people dunking the ball man versus some Excuse me,
- 28:34wasn't say this was the first time in seven years that someone in the
- 28:40All Star Game even participated. And that's what I'm saying. It has to
- 28:44if they ever want to really breathe some airback into the that it's not so
- 28:48much that the dunks. It could be the same dunks, but it's who's
- 28:51doing the dunks because people they built all the games to be I can put
- 29:00piece pistol Pete from fifty years ago versus Trey Young today. You know how
- 29:07the games that you create that kind of matchup, that's what people want to
- 29:10see. They want to see the four or five most popular athletic guys go
- 29:14at it. So if you tell them that the four dunkers are like we're
- 29:17saying, and man, John Morant, Zion and you know, and someone
- 29:25like that, Zachly somebody that they could see versus it was Jalen Brown and
- 29:32then nobody knows these other two people. Mac is from the G League,
- 29:40Jacob Toppins in the G League, and Jimi Hokez is a rookie. And
- 29:44that's what I'm saying. So it has no interest because the whole thing is
- 29:48to see it. Wanted to see if Dominique Wilkins with all these dunks and
- 29:52Michael Jordan had a dunk off. That's really what it was all about.
- 29:56It was never about It's about that back even if it was like players that
- 30:02were like role players on their team, but we recognized, we recognized them,
- 30:06but question why and this is this has always been a question. But
- 30:11while Lebron never ended the dunk contest, that was one of the questions.
- 30:15Like with him with his star power, if he just how powerful he dunks,
- 30:18the things did he do Even if he'd got in it one time one
- 30:22of two times, that would have made probably made the other players, hey,
- 30:25we got to continue to get in it with him being the face of
- 30:27the league and everybody would like you see the Kobe. You saw from Kobe
- 30:32to Michael to Doctor Jay, all of them was in the dunk contest,
- 30:34but he never if I was in Lebron's shoes, and I'm gonna give you
- 30:40me tying up his Lebron twenty one. I would imagine that Lebron has always
- 30:47found him in a place where something like that, all he could do is
- 30:52hurt himself. Yeah, meaning that you're I'm so scrutinized. All you want
- 30:59is something else to say I didn't do. No, I'm talking about the
- 31:04eighteen, nineteen, twenty year old Lebron when he came in the league,
- 31:07and I'm talking about the eighteen He's been the same Lebron from day one.
- 31:15No, I'm talking when I'm saying day one of ever being on a magazine,
- 31:18it was b Michael Jordan or bust that he didn't get to evolve into
- 31:26that. I understand what So I'm saying, always on the losing end,
- 31:32But that's any of those players. Michael Jordan was not Michael Jordan. Any
- 31:36of those players could take a chance of getting hurt in that not hurt,
- 31:40not not physical, not injured, a body, hurting his image, oh
- 31:45by losing a dunk. So it's about his image. Then, oh okay,
- 31:48when you say hurt his image, I mean this is the dunk contest,
- 31:53it's the help I mean everybody want to see you. That's that's always
- 31:56been to talk about. While Lebron never got in the dunk content. And
- 32:00I'm just being as I'm trying to give you a regular mindset, is you
- 32:08get together and you strategize when you reach the point that things can only go
- 32:15against you, that you don't you're not gonna let me live down that I
- 32:22lost it and then I either have to win or because that's he's I keep
- 32:27trying to tell you, as you keep fighting it. He's one of the
- 32:30few athletes I have ever seen that don't doesn't get any leeway. He only
- 32:38gets scrutinized. And when was the dunk contest Friday night? Saturday night?
- 32:45Okay, And this is the thing that I sometimes I think about. Lebron's
- 32:50got to on a Saturday night win the dunk contest because there really is no
- 32:53him doing well and people being satisfied. Then Sunday, the NBA got him
- 32:58being the captain of a team, or try to score forty five points actually
- 33:02in the game. He's not one of them dudes that can just do the
- 33:06one thing and enjoy himself the rest of the weekend. Everything that goes on
- 33:10that weekend, he has to make an appearance at or and participate in So
- 33:19you know, man, I thought this was supposed to be a week off,
- 33:21but everybody else is. But through the years, Kobe, all them
- 33:24had to make the appearances and do everything. Kobe did it once as a
- 33:29rookie. But he done it. He did it, he did it.
- 33:32That's what. There was no expectations of Kobe as a rookie as there was
- 33:37for Lebron. Kobe actually got to mature into Kobe. Kobe got to come
- 33:44off the bench and develop into Kobe. Lebron came out of Akron straight.
- 33:55King. Save us, the King, the King. What you mean you
- 34:00ain't gonna save us? I know you don't know how to spell saved,
- 34:04but what you mean you ain't gonna save us? Sit a senate, I've
- 34:08got you. I tell people the same thing I said last week with Patrick
- 34:14Mahomes. The best way for a quarterback is not to put push him into
- 34:17the savior right. Let him become you hope you have a good enough team.
- 34:24Even if he's a rookie. You can put him on the field,
- 34:28but he doesn't have to save the team all Someone like Ben Roethlisberger he got
- 34:34placed where No, we're just gonna the defense is gonna shut people out,
- 34:37and we're gonna run the ball, and I just need you on third and
- 34:40four, Ben to to make the little pass right there. And that's how
- 34:45he spent the first couple of years. So I'm just giving you the sensible
- 34:52me. I would imagine the young man never was in a position to where
- 34:57I could just go out do some dunks in a if I don't win,
- 35:01we move on. But I'm so polarized. Well, why you ain't do
- 35:09the Michael Jordan dunk? Lebron lost contest last night? I was trying to
- 35:15do the Lebron dunk. I didn't know I had to do the Michael Jordan
- 35:17dunk. How does this vote for Cleveland going forward? It's just for two
- 35:22eleven to one eighty six the East one, once again showing there's no defense
- 35:28played in the All Star Game. Guys, I don't even know where they
- 35:32run back on defense, because if it looks like the offensive player is going
- 35:39to do any move, they back up anyway. Yeah, so I don't
- 35:44know why y'all even go down to the other end at all. The shows
- 35:46in the score to eleven, I don't know. I think that's the first
- 35:50time they've ever been over two hundred points. Well, yes, so in
- 35:52this situation and the other team was fourteen points from getting the two hundred in
- 35:59this game had to be here. Damian Lillard was the MVP of the game.
- 36:07It was the second time if somebody's won like a MVP of the game
- 36:14and a Saturday event or a second a couple of times, or it's been
- 36:20a long time since this happened or something. It was something I was hearing
- 36:23where they won like a three point or dunk contest and then the MVP of
- 36:30the all second. Why do you think Lebron hasn't participated in a dunk contest?
- 36:38I don't know. I know with twoententy and ten, at one time,
- 36:40we really thought that he was going to do it. He had prepared,
- 36:44he had talked to people. He was going to do it at one
- 36:45time, and for some reason he backed out. I'm not for sure why
- 36:51he hasn't done it, That's what that's a big concern with me. I'm
- 36:52thinking with you being who you are, the king, the face of the
- 36:55league or whatever going there, I mean, he throw it down real hard,
- 37:00doctor J and at the time when all those guys, when the kim
- 37:02Bean and it was just those were the voters. They would have they would
- 37:07have voted, they would have let Lebron lose. I mean, he would
- 37:09have never missed. So I'm saying for him, it's not rigged. So
- 37:15you think he didn't do it? Why, I don't know why? Well,
- 37:17no, no, no, it's not an answer. You asked me
- 37:21a question. I gave you an answer. I'm asking you so I can
- 37:24get an answer. I don't know. It's not an answer why he didn't
- 37:30do it, That's what I'm saying. I'm not for sure. That's why
- 37:31I asked you as I'm asking you to give me an answer. I question.
- 37:37But I just told you that he didn't. He said, you don't
- 37:42have a reason why. I'm asked why. I asked the question, why
- 37:45do y'all think that Lebron because I don't know. I'm trying to understand why
- 37:50this man has never participated in the dunk contest. I never saw, like
- 37:54I said, I never saw why it would have helped him. Well,
- 37:57several people, I mean, through the years, it's always there's been other
- 38:00professionals and it could be one thing, a lot of people don't. He
- 38:02could just be an in game dunker. He might be not like Mac McClung,
- 38:07one of those kind of and grab it off the backboard. That is
- 38:14a thing like you're. Some people are not like people. They just are
- 38:20in the movement, in the action. They do it, and I can
- 38:22accept it. I asked you. I'm saying you don't have to get the
- 38:27last word as we go to commercial. But I'm saying we heard you.
- 38:30You can accept that, and I can accept that. The man chose not

- 42:08what Shock Wing Candy, Good morning to you out there listening Land, Glad
- 42:14to be here with you. NBA All Star Weekend is in the book.
- 42:16Do any of you know where the All Star Game is next year? No?
- 42:23I don't. Okay, that's good, that's good. Hon The bad
- 42:28producer wants to read to you why Lebron said he hasn't been doing any dunk
- 42:31contest. You know, he's he's a big I've always said he's he's the
- 42:36number one Lebron hater that I know. Maybe not who other people know,
- 42:42but he's somebody bigger, but we know those people. But he wants to
- 42:45share with you what Lebron James said about being in the dunk in twenty twenty
- 42:52three last year. He said, I don't think it was something I wanted
- 42:53to accomplish in my career. It's not a goal of mine. It's never
- 42:58coming to the NBA to be a part of the Dunk Contest, you know,
- 43:00making the NBA All Star Team, with being the league MVP, win
- 43:04the Defensive Player of the Year, win the NBA Championships, those are the
- 43:07goals of mine. The NBA Dunk Contest was never a goal of mine.
- 43:10So it wasn't something that I had a passion for. And now we know
- 43:15now we know now if you had that information, I just I just found
- 43:20that. That's what I'm saying. Can I read it? I mean,
- 43:22but I mean, that's it's not something he ever wanted to do. It's
- 43:25a good statement. I like that, but he had said before that I'm
- 43:31putting my name into the dunk contest. He did that a couple of times.
- 43:35Yeah, that's why I say it's a good statement. Well, I'm
- 43:38saying maybe maybe people hype in mind. I think it was it was the
- 43:43added scrutiny. And I said, when he was in the dunk contest at
- 43:45the when he was a McDonald's All American, he won the contest, but
- 43:51it was really just because he made all his dunks on the first try and
- 43:54he jumped higher than everyone else. It wasn't really creative. So I don't
- 43:59think that like you were talking about, as far as like the creativity of
- 44:02someone in gang versus in a contest, it's it's different. So I don't
- 44:08think he would have He's not. He was not a very creative dunker in
- 44:13that way from what like what we see in a dunk contest, right,
- 44:16and everybody that can jump high and do the things he can do, Uh,
- 44:21it doesn't translate to that kind of trickery because that that kind of stuff
- 44:24is harder. You got to have a little Harlem globe trot in your mind
- 44:29when it comes to that kind of stuff. It has to be somewhere.
- 44:32That's how you kind of see life that I'm gonna throw it off the backboard
- 44:36and make sure it hits the rim. Or even with the Mac McClung guy
- 44:38the other night to do that dunk where he jumped over the guy and then
- 44:44he thought, well, I'm gonna jump over in. But people do that,
- 44:46but they don't release the ball and then re grab the ball then dunk
- 44:52like that. Has I ain't got no time to be sitting around the Only
- 44:57thing I gotta do is release the ball. Our loyal listener and good friend
- 45:02Donny Brown has said that Bay Area is the All Star Game next year.
- 45:07Now that sounds still kind of vague. Bay Area, like the whole Bay
- 45:10areas in San Francisco? Is it Oakland Sancisco? Okay, there we go,
- 45:15Yeah, Golden State we'll be hosting next year. But one thing from
- 45:20the NBA All Star Game, we miss Jennifer Hudson. What about it?
- 45:29You know, I'm saying, what did you think of the And this is
- 45:31what I wanted to ask. Do you think that they tried to do too
- 45:34much trying to make it look almost like the Super Bowl halftime show with the
- 45:40All Star Game? The whole halftime live performance and the dancing and the it's
- 45:45more spectacle than the average basketball contest. And does that add to it or
- 45:53take away from it for you? It does have a build up like I'm
- 45:57about to watch a real game, and that's might be by the game sufferers
- 46:01too, because they build it up with the performances and intros and everything,
- 46:07like we're about to finally see it. Right. It took us a while
- 46:12to get Ali versus Mike Tyson. We had to build some time machines.
- 46:16Right right, boy, We're about to finally see It's gonna be ludicrous.
- 46:20It's gonna be crazy. It's gonna be you gonnas, this lackluster game where
- 46:24people just are running up and down the court. But you gave me thirty
- 46:29minutes of intro. You not gonna be able to handle me. You can't
- 46:34see it. I'm gonna be You were like, oh, this is gonna
- 46:37be the one. No, I'm going to dismand toyo and then it's just
- 46:40right. I think Kenny, they could have picked a better with the NBA,
- 46:45a better performer for halftime. I mean, I would have thought that
- 46:50they would have Jennifer Us and I don't know. It's just like you said,
- 46:53they tried to something seemed like they were trying to emulate the Super Bowl.
- 46:57Well, I'm saying when you talk about a better per former quantified in
- 47:00what metric? What metric? Are you saying more awarded? Because she at
- 47:07least she awarded, she's all of the other things that most performers are when
- 47:13they come to something like that. I don't know. I just I don't
- 47:15think, Jennifer, the NBA. If you look at the NBA, I
- 47:19guess, I guess compared to how what we have here as far as halftime
- 47:22and entertainment, I thought they were with more with the hip hop, rap
- 47:27more and see that's what I'm saying, Atlanta can't be the I'm not I'm
- 47:30not saying that here not, but what I'm saying, where was with the
- 47:35past prior? Jennifer Hudson from the state of Indiana. No, so you
- 47:40said here, where were you referring to? Well, when I'm saying more
- 47:44of the more, like I said, rapper, hip hop as far as
- 47:49the crowd because of the the whole weekend and the things that All Star Weekend,
- 47:52Jennifer Hudson, I'm just saying that she probably has one or two hits
- 47:57that they like. The NBA guys, it's more you don't hear Jennifer Hudson's
- 48:00playing in the NBA. But who did they have do the national anthem?
- 48:05Babyface a baby face? Right? And who always do always the pregame,
- 48:09the little pregame it was show I don't I don't remember. That's usually when
- 48:15they have more of a fast pace, right. And and again we're talking
- 48:17about the NBA is trying to make it a national, an international, global
- 48:22game, and hip hop isn't everywhere like that. So you're presenting the All
- 48:28Star Game to the world in a place like Indiana that is known for particularly
- 48:32hip hop, and Jennifer, uh, it's from Chicago, which is just
- 48:37literally ours from Indianapolis. So and they couldn't have been emulating because this playing
- 48:43would have already been in place. I'm sure. I'm sure. It's not
- 48:46like they called her last week, like, hey, in a couple of
- 48:52days, they already knew who was going to do all these kinds of things
- 48:54for them. I didn't have a problem with Jenniferson. I like all music,
- 48:58right, Yeah, it didn't have to be that he was talking about
- 49:00here in Atlanta and actually the Atlanta Hawks. One of the worst things that
- 49:05they do is they only give you the same music all the time, all
- 49:10the time, all the time. And everybody sits in my row at the
- 49:15game hates it. That's all the ever get like Atlanta has no other music.
- 49:21And now, but for the halftime of Atlanta and Utah, it's Little
- 49:25Yachty. We'll be back more to Sports Duck Show right after this. Smith

- 52:47their clients to not participate in any cognitive tests at the NFL Combine. The
- 52:59NFL Combine is coming up here in the next couple of days as well.
- 53:04At the Elete First, they represent CJ. Stroud the Rooky Sensation for the
- 53:10Houston Texans who when he took the S two cognitive tests last year, it
- 53:17came back oft eighteen out of one hundred on that test. It's a test
- 53:25that's been around. I even took it when I went through the combine.
- 53:30It's a cognitive test. Other quarterbacks that took the tests, like a Bryce
- 53:37Young, excuse me, I think he might have scored in the mid nineties.
- 53:44Anthony Richardson of the Coats was rounded like eighty when he took the test.
- 53:51These words c J. Stroud's competitors. CJ. Stroud was still taking
- 53:54number two. And this is just a baseline. Now, I think I
- 54:01would imagine that athlete first doesn't want their clients because maybe they thought this was
- 54:09what kept CJ. Stroud from being the first pick, even though he was
- 54:14the second pick. And it's just one of many tests that are given at
- 54:20the combine. Some of them, when you take them, you completely understand
- 54:23what it is that you're trying to, like a forty or how many times
- 54:30you can bench. Those are right cognitive tests. Sometimes you might for your
- 54:36sensibilities. But remember it's thirty two teams that doesn't mean that all thirty two
- 54:40teams use the information from the cognitive tests as something that they weigh, right,
- 54:51But I have to represent all the owners at the combine. So for
- 54:55that team that might have that as how they measure you, then that's why
- 55:05this test would be in place. Is it a deciding factor that you're not
- 55:08going to be drafted higher? C? J. Stroud being drafted number two?
- 55:15Kind of how much higher? Could you only one other position? It
- 55:21this spells that now there's two ways. There's that the team that might want
- 55:24to draft you understands where you are, so maybe I need to put things
- 55:30in place. I still want to draft you, right, but I know
- 55:34I need to put something else in place as well. And a lot of
- 55:37emojis how it's going to how we're going to get that information to you from
- 55:43that indicator. That's kind of how it is with this kind of test.
- 55:45But this agency, for their clients, they are saying, and remember,
- 55:52just like they're telling their client in any of these tests. I didn't when
- 55:57I went to the combine, I didn't do the bench test. Actually,
- 56:02when I went to combine, I didn't no test physically. I took a
- 56:07physical and I did all the interviews and in mental tests, and I told
- 56:14them I would do the physical test at Auburn. That bought me another two
- 56:19weeks of getting ready for Auburn Pro Day. And all the boxes I had
- 56:27checked on. Only thing I knew going into the combine that they that might
- 56:35not be high I was the bench press because I was alignment. I have
- 56:43more shoulder strength, more back strength. I needed another two weeks to get
- 56:47my bench press up because they want us to be at a bench to twenty
- 56:52five in the thirties, so I had to build that up, and I
- 56:57didn't want to be up all day. By the time you give me hop
- 57:00me up at five o'clock, I ha been up to something five. Now
- 57:01you want to put me on a bench at eleven am and tell me to
- 57:06wrap out, So I'm not going to expose the one area that I need
- 57:10to be right on. I want to start there, or you make me
- 57:15go run and get winded. I want to start right on the bench.
- 57:19See if I can hit twenty seven, twenty eight right in there, maybe
- 57:22even thirty if I don't hit fatigue. And that's all I need because I
- 57:28just got a mark. I don't need to be the forty because the dude
- 57:30that can do it forty time can't move his feet, so he's drafted in
- 57:35the seventh round. Anyway, I just need to show you enough in this
- 57:39area, because as I always tell people, I've never seen a bench darbells
- 57:46on a field, so obviously the game has nothing to do in your hands
- 57:51are never in the motion of a bench. It's but that we won't even
- 57:54get into that. That's just something else. But in this cognitive test,
- 57:58if you don't think you're a client, wouldn't I wouldn't say this. As
- 58:02a sports agency, I would maybe try to fill out my clients beforehand,
- 58:07right and tell the ones that should to do it and the ones I think
- 58:12that shouldn't let them skip it. I don't know if I would make a
- 58:15broad statement because some people could impress in this. Remember, you know it
- 58:22might be lacking in a couple of other things, but I can get you
- 58:24a ninety five in this. So you're telling me to skip something that I
- 58:29actually might be able to convince the team I'm great at. So is this
- 58:32a new name for the This is it the cognitive is the same thing as
- 58:37the one delected? Yeah, it's the same. It's a different test.
- 58:38It's a different test, but in the same veins. Okay, all right,
- 58:43you know, flight attendant, stewardess, what else they called to call
- 58:46it. Secretaries are now reception administrators, administrator, janitors are customial engineers,
- 58:58right to prostitute or sex workers. Now, yeah, well that's why I
- 59:01was just changed things, and that's why I was wondering, because you know,
- 59:08it's funny to me they changed the name, but it's the same test.
- 59:10Like you said, so man, criminals are podcast go hosts. Yeah,
- 59:17but he's not the only one that scored low like that before this had
- 59:21a great No, that's what I'm saying. He's not the only person.
- 59:23It's a it's a Tom Brady scored thirty three and the Heaps shooting. That's
- 59:29what I'm saying. It's based on. It's just another something for teams to
- 59:32either be taking to see that you're not maybe you don't process it as so
- 59:37we need to deliver it to you different. We can't give it to you
- 59:42like the last guy, just like to give him no cards, like move
- 59:45on now, just like that question. Excuse me, go ahead, producer.
- 59:49I know that a lot of times when they're talking about the interviews.
- 59:52One of the things that they've constantly bought up is basically person's likability. How
- 59:57how well you interview me using to do something for you before I even have
- 1:00:01the job. How does that? How is that viewed by teams? And
- 1:00:07that's what I'm saying. Each team would have a particular way they would handle
- 1:00:09it. Some of them might not care that you did take the test or
- 1:00:15what you scored on it. Your willingness is what won them over that you
- 1:00:20didn't shy away from something like that. So it can have at verse based
- 1:00:24on who the individuals, because some people just the fact that you was okay
- 1:00:29taking it. I gave you a check. We'll question. We'll be back
- 1:00:34more to sports Jock Show right after this, Don't Go Awayne Born of the

- 1:03:00Kenny Comanchi, Greg Bad producer in the building, the Great Caitlin Clark doing
- 1:03:06big things last week, becoming the all time leading score in ncuble A history.
- 1:03:14A lot of our conversation earlier as we brought this story to you were
- 1:03:19some people out there still always trying to find a way to dim someone's star.
- 1:03:25One of the people is Jay Williams, the announcer out of Duke,
- 1:03:30the little point guard that went to Chicago. Does a great job, so
- 1:03:35I'm not knocking him at his job. I will knock him as far as
- 1:03:39trying to keep the word great away from Caitlin Clark, Jay Williams is saying
- 1:03:47that to be labeled as great, you have to win a title. And
- 1:03:55I say, and this is the sports shop telling you that's a lie.
- 1:04:03You have to win titles when you're in individual sports. You have to win
- 1:04:15titles in individual sports to prove your greatness, not in teen sports. And
- 1:04:26when Jay Williams oh sports shock, why would you say that? Well,
- 1:04:29there was a guy named Barry Sanders. Some people say it was the greatest
- 1:04:32running back ever hit a field that made other great running backs say he was
- 1:04:41the best ever ran the ball in college. There was people like Lenn Bias,
- 1:04:47who a lot of people say that was the closest thing they ever seen
- 1:04:50to Michael Jordan. He died tragically early in his life before he got to
- 1:04:55be able to display it. But as far as I know, when Lenn
- 1:04:58Bias went to Maryland, I don't remember him holding up a title, did
- 1:05:03he? I don't remember. Not the Nationals right on them. Okay,
- 1:05:08so we got Barry Sanders, we got then Bias. There was a guy
- 1:05:12an Auburn named Bo Jackson. That one that's the title. Some people say
- 1:05:16he might be the baddest man ever. Be pretty good, decent, He's
- 1:05:21all right, I mean really, I mean, I mean, running over
- 1:05:25four people is okay, But the fifth guy did tackle. Yeah, if
- 1:05:29that's your thing, running over four people. Chris Jackson. When I got
- 1:05:32to Auburn, little point guard before he changed his name for LSU. Never
- 1:05:36won a title, but he's the first time I ever Yeah, he was
- 1:05:42from the Gulf Port all the way to Denver. He made me want to
- 1:05:45come out of the Auburn stands and help him with his bands. He had
- 1:05:48served us up one night. He was the first man I ever saw shoot
- 1:05:51from the logo intentionally. It's no lie. I got the Auburn in eighty
- 1:05:55nine, went over to the basketball game and I was like, you know,
- 1:06:01coming back from the old school coaching. I got there. He shot
- 1:06:05the ball from the logo and the coach left him in the game. That
- 1:06:10was unheard of. What you mean he just lunched. I'm like, man,
- 1:06:13that's gonna get you benched, shout out Dale Brown, then came back
- 1:06:16down again, pulled again and hit Oh so you just shoot from the logo,
- 1:06:21then that guy, you're that guy that's a normal shot. Never won
- 1:06:26a title, but amazed me. Yeah, a lot of us, me
- 1:06:30too. So to say, Caitlyn Clark is not the great Caitlyn Clark.
- 1:06:36I don't understand the young lady in about ten less games, broke the title
- 1:06:43for NC Double A. Now we have some people out there searching for bait
- 1:06:47to try to discredit her, and she's about eighty points Lynette Willard. Willard,
- 1:06:56excuse me, went to Kansas. She's eighty points from breaking that record.
- 1:07:00She has four games left. She averages thirty points a game. I'm
- 1:07:05quite sure if they go down there to the locker room and tell her she's
- 1:07:08eighty points away. Now, Lynette Woodard, when she played, which was
- 1:07:13late seventies or the eight it wasn't the NC double A, they didn't count,
- 1:07:18So they're not knocking her. They're telling you from the inception of NC
- 1:07:23double A. And we talked earlier about things like the NFL and sacks and
- 1:07:27yards, they didn't keep those kinds of stats. They didn't keep sacks in
- 1:07:33the legendary days of the Fearsome Forsome, the Deacon Jones. So we labeled
- 1:07:41Reggie White or whoever has the title now, Bruce Smith, I can't remember
- 1:07:44who is all time, is Bruce Smith right now? Whoever I'm saying,
- 1:07:48But the generation before them, they didn't keep sacks. So when those people
- 1:07:56out there saying, well, oh, she didn't pass this, or they're
- 1:07:58trying to bypass, no, they're not there saying that miss Woodard played in
- 1:08:01the ai A ai W A or that's what it was called at that time.
- 1:08:08So those stats, but even in that, Caitlyn Clark is eighty points
- 1:08:11from her with four games to go, So I would imagine we'll be able
- 1:08:16to report here in four games if that, regardless of what the league was
- 1:08:23called. She has the scoring. But then also the NCAA Tournament and the
- 1:08:28Big Ten Tournament, those those games count two. So she's probably got seven
- 1:08:34eight more games at least, right, I'm saying in the next four she
- 1:08:39gave him forty nine game forty nine, So but she can create something.
- 1:08:46And I'm very nice with the four. I'm saying she's gonna hit the eighty
- 1:08:49and three. It's possible. Then it's gonna be going down. She seems
- 1:08:55that like that kind of personality that she understands she's standing on the edge of
- 1:09:00greatness and the names uh, and then she's doing it at a high pace.
- 1:09:05But when Jay Williams, a young man, well not only old man,
- 1:09:10uh, makes those kind of statements. I have all kinds of names
- 1:09:14of people that was great. Can't tell me that Dominique Wilkins was not great
- 1:09:23because he never won a title. Most of the great people that you will
- 1:09:28say will are great don't have a title. So damn Marino wasn't great.
- 1:09:33M did I did I miss it? You remember Dan the man right the
- 1:09:41March Brothers. Remember that whole eight year period where you know who wants some
- 1:09:45I remember secondary, which secondary was like some of this it's hard and fresh.
- 1:09:50Come on, get you a play to this, Mark Duper, Mark
- 1:09:54Clayton, you're gonna tell me that. You're gonna tell me these people got
- 1:09:58without a title, like you just said, Bruce, no title, Derman
- 1:10:00Town, all those Bills teams. You're gonna tell me those people that did
- 1:10:03all that, we're not great. You want to go to college and we
- 1:10:08just start running off names of people. Marshall Faulk was not a great college
- 1:10:13football running back. I don't agree with j. Williams on what he's saying
- 1:10:18too pretty much. But there's a lot of people that have had some discussions.
- 1:10:21Not only is the litt Neette Woodard, there's a discussion about a overall
- 1:10:27scoring record of Pearl More out of France Florence, South Carolina. Now,
- 1:10:30what is Pearl's record? How many four thousand six hundred and forty one points
- 1:10:34and it's an overall record. And everyone is trying to say that's an overall
- 1:10:39record. But my question is when they when you're trying to say that,
- 1:10:42I mean, let's let these people, let them play, because I mean,
- 1:10:45you got to think about women basketball. There's the Cheryl Millers least Leslie,
- 1:10:47Cheryl Swoops, Maya Moore's, Breonna Stewart down at Tarassi Holts, Claude
- 1:10:51Parker, Tamika Catch and Sue Byrd Wilson. Though when we she has a
- 1:10:58lot along Peel Battle to start saying that she's the greatest, nobody said anything
- 1:11:02butody. But there's people out there, there are there are sports reporters,
- 1:11:06fans who are right now, I'm the greatest that you're seeing. But see,
- 1:11:11but what happened those sports fans. Stop listening to those people. Bad
- 1:11:14DUSA. You love to get into this. This lady is electrifying. She's
- 1:11:17pushing ratings. You saw electrifying that you rather bring the second place team that
- 1:11:24lost to the Come on, but that but that that but that's not But
- 1:11:29that's what I'm saying. You your reward in second place. Let me win.
- 1:11:31These win. The winner that was one. Mean, let me ask
- 1:11:34you something, Has there ever been something that someone has done today that no
- 1:11:43one had done or today they did it better than anyone has done it before
- 1:11:47them, and nobody since they did it today has done it better. Can't
- 1:11:51we just give her credit for that? Why is it that everyone wants to
- 1:11:58pick apart and go into past seasons and things that have nothing to do with
- 1:12:02the fact that the other night the girl needed eight points and she gave you
- 1:12:06forty nine. Is that not enough for her to just have that day?
- 1:12:12Let Caitlyn Clark be great today. The scoring title that she was out to
- 1:12:18solidify as having. She did that by whatever metric for whatever league, or
- 1:12:28she's got that, and now everybody wants to bring up why she didn't do
- 1:12:32what we all watched her do with our own two eyes. Let her live,
- 1:12:38That's all I'm saying. There's surely they are going to be better players.
- 1:12:41Surely there's probably not all of that may be true at some point.
- 1:12:45Jay Williams won how many championships? Uh one? Did he win any MVPs?
- 1:12:53Right? Well, in college she was a player of the Year.
- 1:12:57Are you talking about now? I'm saying, just there are a lot of
- 1:13:00awards. If you put the Kobe's in the shacks and the Lebrons and all
- 1:13:04of them in a room, they might be able to go. Man,
- 1:13:08unless you than one, two champion, three championships, you can't really call
- 1:13:13yourself great. There are a lot of metrics that it sounds like just because
- 1:13:16he's got a championship, that's his flex In my opinion, if you hadn't
- 1:13:20won a championship, you can't be great. Well, there's a whole league
- 1:13:25full of people. Well, when he does go back to Duke and when
- 1:13:29he go on campus, it's like there's gonna be some guys. Like I
- 1:13:31said, as we go to break, this woman is dazzling. She's put
- 1:13:35on a performance that very few people have ever seen. And your greatest accomplishment
- 1:13:44as an athlete is to start even bringing up and be connected to people that
- 1:13:50are buried. You proved your greatness by when you are digging up people.
- 1:13:57This could be Cheryl Miller's grand daughter. That's how old Cheryl Muller is to
- 1:14:03this woman. This woman in twenty two, Cheryl Miller's like sixty two.
- 1:14:10This could be her granddaughter. And if I'm doing enough that you got to
- 1:14:15pull up names like Cheryl Miller. The job is done. That's all I
- 1:14:19needed where you want to put me ahead or back? All I needed you
- 1:14:25to say was she kind of like Cheryl Miller. Yeah, that's all I
- 1:14:31needed to hear. Turn right out the name sports Shock Show. Right after
- 1:14:36this the office in the back of my house like t fish thing coming.
- 1:14:41Let my toe, Friz, please, you've been about down on. Who
- 1:14:45do you think trees? Who do you think brought you the old dish easy
- 1:14:48ease ice cubes? The docs Don Boy, Wayne Board of the Sports John

- 1:15:00become normalized at interscholastic athletic events. Some fancyem angry, they lack civility towards
- 1:15:08one another. Some even get aggressive and unruly. Time out. What is
- 1:15:15going on? This has to stop. Let's not forget school sports aren't just
- 1:15:19about winning, and they're definitely not an excuse to take your frustrations out on
- 1:15:24the official or the opponent. They are about teaching lessons like perseverance, respect,
- 1:15:30and empathy so students can learn and grow as people, not just as
- 1:15:34players. We all have a role to play in setting a good example for
- 1:15:39our students and teaching them these important values. So fans, it's time to
- 1:15:44step up your game and behave positively at interscholastic athletic events in Georgia. This

- 1:17:43Millie Bobby Brown is twenty years of age. Can't wait to see how her
- 1:17:48career develops. Kind of like a Drew Barry Moore of our generation, the
- 1:17:54one who kind of caught fire around thirteen fourteen and then just try to see
- 1:18:00their lives develop. Only twenty years old, Milly Bobby Brown, who's kind

- 1:18:29eighty four? Which one is he's eighty four years old? No, no,
- 1:18:33no, If he eighty four, he didn't start, you know,
- 1:18:36smoking, he'd start getting facelifted. Boy his sixties, he's still smoking now.
- 1:18:42He's still baby baby. Dwight Freenie, who is going into the Hall
- 1:18:46of Fame, which is interesting. Me and Takio Spikes we drove down to
- 1:18:50the Armon game and we have no knock against the White Freenie. If that's
- 1:18:54what you want to put in the Hall of Fame, rightfully, so did
- 1:18:58put in some work, but we couldn't figure out how Dwhite Freenie jumped John
- 1:19:01Apraham. Yeah. If Dwight Freenie is like seventeenth eighteenth in sacks all time
- 1:19:06and John A. Craham is like nine or ten, I don't understand that.
- 1:19:14But Dwight Freenie hall of Famer, forty four years old, and that's
- 1:19:16not a knock of saying. Take Dwight out right, Understand, I'm not
- 1:19:24saying I'm saying how do you jump when somebody has in the same category.
- 1:19:30Most likely that's what you're heavily winging. Longevity and sacks. Most likely John
- 1:19:35had both equal to Dwight Freenie June Jones, former Falcon head coach back in
- 1:19:41the day when I first got in the league. He was the head coach
- 1:19:44of the Falcons is seventy one. Mark Ritt, the Great Georgia Bulldog,
- 1:19:49really built that program to pass along to Kirby. Mark always had those teams
- 1:19:57that they was always just right there, Hey Man, Hey Alabama, and
- 1:20:01then Kirby came over and finally got him over. But Mark Rick, sixty
- 1:20:05four years old, has had to retire here last couple of years. I
- 1:20:10think he's dealing with about of dementia and started out with MS MS yeah,
- 1:20:15started out with MS yeah. I know he's been he retired because he was
- 1:20:19diagnosed. He's sixty four years old. Who else we have here, Julian
- 1:20:27Michaels is fifty years old. Le'Veon Bell who says he's planning a return to
- 1:20:33the NFL. Good luck, Levion Bell. You want some old Leveon Biginny.
- 1:20:41No, I'm saying I've still got some Le'Veon left from last time.
- 1:20:45I was just gonna heat that up thirty two years old. He's gonna try
- 1:20:48to make a comeback thirty two. That's it's Unna. I'm saying. I
- 1:20:54mean, but I'm aging all Day used to come back all the time,
- 1:20:57saying I got enough though, I have enough about all Day though. You
- 1:21:00know all they built differently. Oh yeah, I've seen all Day with a
- 1:21:04two leve unveiled thirty two. Hey man, let's see if it can happen
- 1:21:10for him. Coatavia is Calwell Pope the champion along with the Joker last year
- 1:21:15thirty one years old. Vanna White is sixty seven years old. She's still
- 1:21:21the host on the co host Yes for the Game Right sixty seven years turned
- 1:21:27this letter John Travolta, The Big seven zer Wote is John Travolta. Best
- 1:21:33thing I know about John. He kind of left Hollywood for a minute so
- 1:21:36people can kind of get him out of that Saturday Ny Barbarino, I remember
- 1:21:42reading that article where he said he had to he was so type cast.
- 1:21:45Yeah, because the first he was Barberino from Welcome Back Carter, and then
- 1:21:48he went to Greece the movie Grease yea Greece. He went to Greece and
- 1:21:54then Saturday Night Fever were both kind of the same. His character in Greece
- 1:21:58was Johnny Danny Dan Danny Zuko and in Saturday Night Fever was he stepped away
- 1:22:08for like six seven years and that kind of pulp fiction I think was his
- 1:22:15comeback. Yeah, I mean he does. He did some stuff throughout the
- 1:22:17age Michael, but pulp fiction was like the that brought him like back.
- 1:22:21Yeah, that was yeah, and everybody kind of forgot he was Saturday Night
- 1:22:26Feet the face because it was was Michael before or after pulp fiction? After
- 1:22:32Okay and Yoko Ono ninety one years of age is Yoko Ono. And doctor
- 1:22:41Dre who we've been playing some today. We've been playing Seal Smokey Robinson,
- 1:22:45Doctor Drake, Doctor dre Is fifty nine years of age is Doctor Ray.
- 1:22:53Got a chance to see One Love Bob Marley movie. It's a good watch.
- 1:22:58The only thing with movies like Bob Marley, uh and any character that
- 1:23:02is so big to me, you got to do just really kind of grind
- 1:23:09your teeth on a certain era of his life and really kind of because you
- 1:23:14kind of you. They told the story of an era, but they kind
- 1:23:17of glossed over a lot and some people's story, some people's identity is just
- 1:23:26too big. It's you can't make a Michael Jackson movie. You can't make
- 1:23:30it really an Elvis movie. In one movie. You have to tell a
- 1:23:34part. Are you gonna tell Michael with with the five, Michael the Jackson
- 1:23:40five, or you're gonna tell when he got off the wall, or you're
- 1:23:44gonna start when you got the chimpanzee. We're gonna see they're filming that right
- 1:23:47now. They're filming that movie right now. What okay? What what?
- 1:23:51I didn't know they were doing. They're using his nephew is playing him?
- 1:23:57What what era? From what I've seen seen I've seen from pictures, Uh,
- 1:24:01there's Jackson five era because it was Neil Long is playing Catherine. Uh
- 1:24:09great, great, great choice. Right, But they then they have some
- 1:24:13then I was seeing pictures of actors playing like them as kids. So we
- 1:24:16see so we'll see the Jackson five. So I don't know how how they're
- 1:24:20me a Long is playing then they're kind of midlife. They should have went
- 1:24:25with well, at least they're starting they're starting with the when they started the
- 1:24:29Jackson five. Okay, just in that, Okay, then she would be
- 1:24:31to then that era. I've seen pictures of uh Ja'afar who's playing Michael at
- 1:24:36in the during the Bad Tour. Now, I just want a movie about
- 1:24:41Michael and the glove. And when he called on five, just that era,
- 1:24:47that's this is this is a left hand glove. I need the right
- 1:24:56hand. These are sparkles. He's sequence to be good. What was going
- 1:25:02on in his life when he decided, you know what, I'm a glove
- 1:25:05up next time, I'm just gonna glove up. Nobody ever told me what
- 1:25:09he had the glove on. Do y'all know why he had the glove?
- 1:25:11Bricks shields on some bike club? He was like, was the movie good?
- 1:25:16At those worts jobs? Because I had my youngest said oh, you
- 1:25:19gotta go see it. So I was just wondering if it was Uh it
- 1:25:24was, I would say, like a C plus, it's a good watch.
- 1:25:30I guess your kids, all right, they I would say go watch
- 1:25:34it, wait for prime or go to the theater. But I'm saying,
- 1:25:39should I wait for to come on prime or just go to the theater.
- 1:25:43That's why I'm trying to decide whether or not to get out there. Well,
- 1:25:46you should have went with your youngest. No, she didn't. I
- 1:25:48guess she wanted the friends. She just hit me with a text, Oh,
- 1:25:51Bob, is that y'all don't have that kind of relationship with No,
- 1:25:55we got her, but she just told me the movie was they don't have
- 1:25:58that kind of see you taking it. We're trying and take me nowhere.
- 1:26:03Just give me money. Oh man, don't go awayne Or of the Sports

- 1:28:46I D I Yes, it's back, stay still show making sports up shop.
- 1:29:03I'm the sports Shop Wayne Kenny. Good morning to you out there listening.
- 1:29:08Lay glad to be here with you. One thing guys before, because
- 1:29:12I don't want people to be like, well sports shock, you didn't ask
- 1:29:14the guys real quickly because we were talking about the great great Caitlin Clark out
- 1:29:20of Iowa, and Jay Williams comments that she can't be labeled great because she
- 1:29:26never won a title. Can you be labeled great without a title? I
- 1:29:33think so? Yes, yes, bad producer, so j. Nobody agrees
- 1:29:41with you. Jay. Maybe you just said that. Can I have a
- 1:29:45first question? Can you be a bomb and have a title? Yes,
- 1:29:50absolutely said yeah. They got rolled on. But you we say, Donny
- 1:30:00Brown, I listened, it's so funny. I'll set there said. Some
- 1:30:02of those Duke guys say some outlandish things like the earth is flat. So
- 1:30:06Dotty Brown our listener, that was pretty funny. I like that. Is
- 1:30:11that Kyrie referencing Kyrie? You know we even live out loud just say,
- 1:30:19Kyrie, that is so hilarious. One thing. One note, go to
- 1:30:29a chiropractor, go to a skeleton doctor. They say they can tell a
- 1:30:32lot about your health by your gate. How you walk. Yes, the
- 1:30:38healthier your gate is. How you walk will show your gate. They can
- 1:30:45tell a lot of things about how you walk, your posture easy. I
- 1:30:50was just reading that in an article and I thought that would And it's interesting
- 1:30:54you say that, sports shock because with me having my mother here with me
- 1:30:59now, one of the things that I noticed about her aging it's her story.
- 1:31:02Her steps have gotten shorter. She doesn't walk at the same you know.
- 1:31:06She used to be one of those out distanced me and kind of wear
- 1:31:10me down trying to keep up with her. But now she still can move
- 1:31:15at a nice pace, but the steps are much shorter. Yeah. And
- 1:31:19I was just bragging on you over the week and telling people how you have,
- 1:31:24like you always encouraging us, like about, hey, Babrados need to
- 1:31:28lose some weight, you need to do this, but you always walking and
- 1:31:30working out. Because they were talking about somebody was watching the Riggie Minister defense
- 1:31:34thing and I said, always heard sports John say he doesn't want to be
- 1:31:39that guy. Once he you know, got out of the league. He
- 1:31:41wanted to you know, a lot of the guys got bigger, and a
- 1:31:44lot of the organs is you know, on your organs and different things.
- 1:31:46So those things are very important, I guess to say in the posture and
- 1:31:50walking and yeah, and to live well and well when you're in a comeback
- 1:31:56sport whatever it is. It can be football, boxing. You can't be
- 1:32:00ignorant to your body. Wasn't supposed to do that, you know, I'm
- 1:32:03a hockey player. You're not supposed to let some do run you into a
- 1:32:06wood board and then act like forty five miles an hour for fourteen years.
- 1:32:13Yeah, you know what I'm saying, Like that ain't gonna you know,
- 1:32:15it did something. You better go to the pop, you know, get
- 1:32:18something worked on. So I was just reading that article about your gate.
- 1:32:21Britney Grinder number was retired down at Baylor. They finally had a ceremony.
- 1:32:29I imagine Brittany just waited out kill Mochy remember her in MOCHI didn't have a
- 1:32:33good relationship at their time at Baylor. They won and Brittany was the player
- 1:32:40of the Year and Baylor was one of the top teams in the country.
- 1:32:44She said she was fully emotioned a little dunk for the team. Uh,
- 1:32:48it was great to see Britney Grinder there. Uh and rightfully so she deserves
- 1:32:53all that. And she said I was hearing her and she said she was
- 1:32:56finally seen. And I know a lot of athletes, some of the scene
- 1:33:02will be after. I know a lot of young athletes. And that's why
- 1:33:08we see always say the receiver or the tight end, you get a little
- 1:33:12two yard catch and then you jump up. It's like the first play of
- 1:33:15the game. Just it. But some people just need automatic right now scene
- 1:33:19Right you put into kind of work Brittany that you did, they were going
- 1:33:25to always see you. They have to see you at some point. They
- 1:33:30we're gonna have to put your number up there. And it sounds like that
- 1:33:32must have been something that was on her heart. Maybe she wasn't being recognized
- 1:33:36or when she was there, but it is. It's probably because of the
- 1:33:42kind of school that Baylor is as far as they have the that have the
- 1:33:48strict like Christian values are kind of like BYU as far as the behavior they
- 1:33:55expect from their students, and then add the relationships you have with Kim Mulki
- 1:34:00that there was going to be this delay. But Nikki Collin, who was
- 1:34:04the coach when she became the coach, she's like, that was one of
- 1:34:08the first things she wanted to do and it took it took three years for
- 1:34:13it to happen. But this was something that was It was combined with the
- 1:34:18culture of the school and with Kim Moki was caused that huge delay. Well,
- 1:34:24I said this about Kim Moke and coaches in the general. As a
- 1:34:28player, as someone who might want to participate in sports, it's supposed to
- 1:34:32kind of be a love hate thing with a coach. You're not supposed to
- 1:34:38likewosed to be your rockets, especially in the high school and the college level.
- 1:34:45It's supposed to be one day down the line, you're going to be
- 1:34:49like, man, I'm so glad coach made me wake up. You can't
- 1:34:53see it now at twenty one, but at thirty five you will reflect if
- 1:34:58your coach is not, if you're not kind of have a little hmm,
- 1:35:04well, you might want to punch. It's almost like being a good parent.
- 1:35:08Yeah, your kid almost he supposed to have a little ball to his
- 1:35:12fists. I love him and he coming here one more time. I'm saying
- 1:35:16now and he coming here one more time? Today were gonna have one of
- 1:35:20those and everybody sees there's gonna be this come by y'all. Yeah, And
- 1:35:27kimk did send a statement. She did say congratulations, it's awesome. Think
- 1:35:31it'll be a great environment. So I really don't really want to see why
- 1:35:36we bringing Kim Moke in. And if you're gonna retire Britney Grinder, just
- 1:35:41recognize her. Kim Monkee has anything to do with And then Baylor the values
- 1:35:45in Michael b yu Man, did we forget about some of the things Baylor
- 1:35:49University has done the last few years? Man? Sports, is there an
- 1:35:53accolade? Is there an accomplishment? A recognition that you felt like was denied
- 1:36:00you when you were playing. I would say that I should have won the
- 1:36:13outline Award. Okay, when I was a senior, I came in second,
- 1:36:20but we were on suspension so we were not seen on television. So
- 1:36:29I did take pride that I must have had really put in the work for
- 1:36:35them to to even get me to the top three on a team where we
- 1:36:41were not on television. That was the first year of our suspension. Someone
- 1:36:45asked me this weekend why nobody ever mentions that team, and I say it
- 1:36:48was because we always referred to as the best team. You've just never seen,
- 1:36:53never seen, right, And if you want to, it's this is
- 1:36:56nineteen ninety three. So the little couple of games they would show, you
- 1:37:00can't imagine. You can't think of it as today where it's just games started
- 1:37:05eleven. That's not how it was back in ninety three. It was just
- 1:37:11a handful and we were not seen on television really if you wasn't in the
- 1:37:15Auburn area, because we were on suspension. So but I never salked over
- 1:37:21it. I understood that how amazing it would have even been to win,
- 1:37:28not being on TV, that's you know. So I took pride that I
- 1:37:30had gotten that far on a team that nobody saw. Forget West Coast time
- 1:37:38versus nobody. They never showed the game. You never even seen this team
- 1:37:42play nobody. It's almost like we're not even recognized. But we did go
- 1:37:45undefeated and I did go on to get drafted. But but I hope that
- 1:37:51answered the question. I don't know that I was sad. I've never had
- 1:37:55any heart heart feelings, feelings about it right right, Yeah, I'm just
- 1:38:00wanted to sweep. I put it out there, and if it comes back,
- 1:38:03it comes back my pieces that I made sure I put it all out
- 1:38:08there. Do you ever think that does that make Hopefully I live and see
- 1:38:13a lot of things come back, but maybe I won't. But I do
- 1:38:15know I don't have to ever short myself or feel bad that I shorted that
- 1:38:19moment. But I thought it was a heck of a thing to end up
- 1:38:24that high in a race on a team that wasn't seen. So do you
- 1:38:29ever and you reflect and and you bring it up. The only reason I'm
- 1:38:31asking you think how political that was? That that you're like, they knew
- 1:38:35right before coach died they all this come about. They knew that this was
- 1:38:39the AUBU team, one of them those teams that was going to be able
- 1:38:43to do this that at that time, you think a lot of that was
- 1:38:45political? That they had a bullseye on y'all on your back. No,
- 1:38:50Eric Ramsey went and snitched. So after that, well, what can you
- 1:38:57do? Like I said, the n C double A is not the FBI,
- 1:39:00They're not the CIA. If you don't call them, they won't come
- 1:39:04investigate your school. Everybody keeps staying there is overwatched it driving black cars by
- 1:39:12trying to catch you at practice. No, do all the dirt you want.
- 1:39:15You can do it all day. Ain't nobody call us. No,
- 1:39:18nobody call us. We're not coming to Carolina. Do nothing. Y'all could
- 1:39:23pay them all day. Did nobody come? You live in Carolina. If
- 1:39:28it weren't for that, you wouldn't go to Carolina. Happened to saf nobody
- 1:39:32tells, or your opponent doesn't out you, or somebody on your team,
- 1:39:36then the n CUBA has never really cared. But no, I didn't think
- 1:39:42it was some kind of on them because it took them two years they did
- 1:39:45an investigation. Uh, and I just happened to be the team. The
- 1:39:49teams that it really affected when the coaches got fired and all that, or
- 1:39:53when they was worried about getting fired, were the teams that we were like
- 1:39:56five and six or six and five, and once they got everybody out put
- 1:40:00some new coaches, we went eleven and oh but that's the coming for the
- 1:40:05Outland. Something I thought I probably would have won if I had been on
- 1:40:11TV for the people to see. So We'll be back more to Sports Shock

- 1:43:10They play on those stations and play that actual song on those stations. But
- 1:43:15nobody sent them a letter that she had that this song was qualified for country
- 1:43:23music, right, So they didn't know. They just kept playing it as
- 1:43:28it was pop or R and B because that's what she was still on.
- 1:43:32There was no there's no official paperwork that says that that she that this is
- 1:43:39a country song other than Beyonce going I'm making a countryman. But the little
- 1:43:46stations sounded like please were just a little small and they were trying to get
- 1:43:50out of the Kenny, don't come down on us, man. We were
- 1:43:53just nobody said it. We didn't want to just switch her over there,
- 1:43:58right, and then y'all y'all trying to make her like she can't make no
- 1:44:02y'all. Culture appropriation was a couple of the way. The way you said
- 1:44:06request now is emails. It's not really like call in like it used to
- 1:44:10be. So people would email, hey, can you play the new Beyonce
- 1:44:13song? Can you play the new Beyonce song? So the station just sit
- 1:44:15back like, we don't play Beyonce, we only play country. And like
- 1:44:18you said, there was no press release. It was no thing like,
- 1:44:21hey, there's this album is geared through the towards the country market, and
- 1:44:28so everybody went crazy. But they have created a line dance for the song
- 1:44:31already there beat Kenny. I'm just protecting the little station, a little station
- 1:44:35saying I ain't no y'all all out in front of the station, the signs
- 1:44:42and everything. It's a man out in front of the station and a fish
- 1:44:46neck tight top say he want station shut down? The behigh you know,
- 1:44:56I didn't know. So what do you think about the song? Well,
- 1:45:00I'm a person who loves all music and being of our age. As I
- 1:45:03always tell people. When I hear songs like that, especially on those stations,
- 1:45:06it reminds me of how I grew up listening to music. If you're
- 1:45:11in the eighties, I'm from a small town where you just one Sidellite comes
- 1:45:15in and you go from run DMC to Willie Nelson to Tears the Fears,
- 1:45:23and then they come back with L L COOJ and then they'll go Sydy Ler
- 1:45:29And so I'm hearing music like that. I think some young ears. Since
- 1:45:32music has been divided to where you can go to a particular I don't even
- 1:45:36know. Do they just have one open station now? The radio even they
- 1:45:43don't even really don't they do Top forty of us particular right right, like
- 1:45:51the Hot nine whatever station would be all the hip hop hits. So it's
- 1:46:00still just hip hop, but it's the most popular hip hop songs there is
- 1:46:03top top forty stations. It won't be like all of the forty. It
- 1:46:09will be maybe like nine or ten of that forty, and it's not one
- 1:46:14through ten. It'll be you know, so they skip around because a lot
- 1:46:17of them there's depending on record companies that will push certain songs out there that
- 1:46:24will that's the song that you hear, you know, at least maybe twice
- 1:46:28an hour all the time. And so I thought it was a nice song.
- 1:46:33I haven't heard it yet. It's just more of her voice. It
- 1:46:38came off to hear more natural, because it sounds like more of how her
- 1:46:41voice probably sounds without you and Greg in there on some board if she just
- 1:46:45went she has that. Hey, I don't believe in auto too that kind
- 1:46:48of But when I heard it, though, my first thought was as it
- 1:46:55sequenced the other music, like, oh, that's how I grew up where
- 1:46:59Because I'm always try and explain that to my d order and her friends,
- 1:47:01like, no, we just had more just a station, right, And
- 1:47:06the greatness of that is that you went through all the music. Yes,
- 1:47:14so you had a little bit of everything in that hour, so you had
- 1:47:20an idea what was going on. Now you only have the until you click
- 1:47:25to another genre. We only know what's going on in this genre. The
- 1:47:30number one songs and all those genres are unknown to you. It used to
- 1:47:33be where we'd at least know who was number one on the country charts.
- 1:47:38Now we've never even heard of this artist. And it's a multi Grammy,
- 1:47:42multi American Music Award, multi winning artists, and we just don't get a
- 1:47:47chance to hear it anymore because everything's so isolated and compartmentalized. Genesis Invitational Tiger
- 1:47:55Woods. On the second day with Drew decided that he would write it under
- 1:47:59ills. It probably was got sick from how he performed on the first day
- 1:48:03shot from park. You know, he shout seventy came out there to do
- 1:48:09a little more than Paul. People like you, even producer I might as
- 1:48:15well, saying I might as well get out now the first day it's only
- 1:48:20gonna go downhill. It's like it's like Lebron in the dunk contest. Par
- 1:48:26for anybody else on the pro circuit is commendable. Par for Tiger Woods is
- 1:48:30man, I'm going home. This ain't me. You try to talk because
- 1:48:36even because at that because even at that stage that people still expect that they're
- 1:48:42not even calculating in that Tiger is injured and fifty and none of that.
- 1:48:46They still think he's supposed to do this walk down. You're supposed to walk
- 1:48:49down whoever is at the top. And it's like, man, I lost
- 1:48:53that fifteen years ago. And if I don't start good and hot, I'm
- 1:48:57gonna be cold day two and I'm gonna Jordan Speed disqualified because at the Genesis
- 1:49:03Invitational for signing the wrong score card. How did he get the wrong score
- 1:49:11card? Well, apparently not that you when you play your exchange scorecards with
- 1:49:15your playing partner and you write down his score and you write down his vice
- 1:49:21versa, and at the end you're supposed to go over make sure because you're
- 1:49:25also keeping your scre also, and then you sign the scorecard at the end
- 1:49:28that I test that this is the right score. Apparently he must have made
- 1:49:33a four on a hole and then wrote down a three and I believe it's
- 1:49:38what it was. He scored something else and he signed the scorecard, and
- 1:49:41after you sign it, that's like saying, you lie, you didn't score
- 1:49:45that. Okay, So this could be this accident. Though it could be
- 1:49:50it is accident, it's not most most times when you have that situation,
- 1:49:54it is an accident. Somewhere you didn't go over it thoroughly with the your
- 1:49:58playing opponent, or your opponent made a mistake. Sometimes you got some guys
- 1:50:01out there, they real funny with each other and they do some craziness.
- 1:50:06He might be thinking about his game and thought you made a four, but
- 1:50:10you really made a five. So that's why you have to check behind,
- 1:50:13Okay, George Speth, I think they said his first time in a long
- 1:50:16bunch of years that someone disqualify because of this scorecard signed. Because, like
- 1:50:20you said, nine times out ten, you either he was with someone he
- 1:50:24thought that just hey, you got me, I know you ain't. You're
- 1:50:27gonna write down the right score. He didn't, like I said, he
- 1:50:30didn't really vet it real well. And at the end, we'll be back
- 1:50:32with more of the Sports Shock Show right after this. John Boy Wayne Board
- 1:50:49of The Sports John Show with Wayne Dandy is dumbing up next? Here's a

- 1:52:32Give me a microphone, Folks, wait back to this boy shock Shock
- 1:52:35this boy shock wing Gandee Josh Hart of The Knick says that the state of
- 1:52:41Indiana is the bottom of the barrel. These are his comments about why he
- 1:52:46did not go out to the All Star Game and hang out in the festivities.
- 1:52:51He says that Indiana really the only thing they have Indianapolis is a local
- 1:52:58bakery. I guess he used to go too and White Castle, but he
- 1:53:01says the bottom of the barrow. Do y'all feel that about Indianapolis? Because
- 1:53:08I feel like Indianapolis is every city outside of like the major of ten,
- 1:53:15and Indianapolis is Birmingham, It's Charlotte, it's Tampa. It's a lot.
- 1:53:24A lot of people project onto other cities the places where they're from, especially
- 1:53:30if they're from places like a Miami, Chicago, Houston, and New York,
- 1:53:40those kinds. They'll go to an Indianapolis and think there's nothing here,
- 1:53:43But there's nothing anywhere in the United states outside of those cities. Like you
- 1:53:47just said, people talk about Indianapolis is so close to Chicago. Between Indianapolis
- 1:53:54and Chicago's corn. That's it. That's all we got. And so what
- 1:53:59were you expecting? Have you ever been to Indianapolis? COMANCHI I had lay
- 1:54:04over there when I went out to Vegas last week. Okay, that's but
- 1:54:11you didn't. You didn't get off the plane. I did. I was
- 1:54:14just still in the airport. Okay, okay, what about you? Yes,
- 1:54:17sir, A good friend of mine from Indianapolis. She great showed us
- 1:54:21great times there through your ses our manager at ding time. So yeah,
- 1:54:25and there's a babyface La Reid and Darryl Simmons, all them producers of Tony
- 1:54:31Braxton and all that. Arryl Simmons from right there in Indianapolis. So gotcha,
- 1:54:35gotcha? My Auburn fans just want to send a shout out to you.
- 1:54:42I saluted you for not selling the tickets to Kentucky, but I do
- 1:54:45have to I was very heartbroken how many of you did not wash your hands
- 1:54:53as we exited the bathroom. I just want to put that out there.
- 1:54:59It was scared. Made me think COVID was coming. Back. I say,
- 1:55:02now you know who won't be at the next little tail gate without sanitized
- 1:55:05It was. It was, you know, as good a job as they
- 1:55:09did of not letting Kentucky take over their gym. They did it. The
- 1:55:14two or three times I went to the restroom, I noticed two or three
- 1:55:17people each time leave without washing the hand. Kentucky, Kentucky dodge sickness.
- 1:55:25They're in a hurry. No, no, no. The one with the
- 1:55:30game hadn't started, the other one was halftime, and the other one was
- 1:55:32at the end of the game. So I just they're nasty. That's what
- 1:55:36we're gonna put them under. But you gotta wash your hand. I thought
- 1:55:41it was just the Hawk fans because when COVID was here, everybody was very
- 1:55:45diligent. They was singing Miss Jackson while they were washing their hand. It
- 1:55:48was so they was telling now they're back to that, acting like they don't
- 1:55:55see the sink up there. Jimmy Garoppolo suspended two games for a pe for
- 1:56:02prescription meds that he didn't have put on the exemption list. I don't know
- 1:56:06if it was what kind of drug. They didn't have a name of it,
- 1:56:11but Jimmy g it will be suspended next year for two games for that.
- 1:56:16Kallak Williams is new Raiders running back coach. He was hired over the
- 1:56:21last couple of days to be the running back coach out there for the Vegas
- 1:56:26Raiders. So congratulations calak Kaallak had spent the last couple of years in Auburn
- 1:56:30as the running back coach and was the interim head coach there for about three
- 1:56:35or four games I think there at the end before they hired Hugh Freese to
- 1:56:41come in. Travis Kelcey Jason kelce says that Travis had to move because of
- 1:56:48the fame. I don't think that's true, Big Bruh, Travis move because
- 1:56:54Travis probably gave too many women his phone is address and Taylor you're coming over
- 1:57:00and they snapping their fingers at Taylor. You know what, I'm gonna get
- 1:57:05me a logated spot because wasn't he on like some kind of a date with
- 1:57:10Travis or something show It was called Catching Kelsey, Catching Kelsey that them same
- 1:57:15fans knew his address, and now Taylor want to spend the night and he
- 1:57:19can't have it. He can't love. He's gonna be on the top ten
- 1:57:28pop hit in a minute if another person keep ringing that one scream short name
- 1:57:32from down at the balconies, so come in. She don't let him fool
- 1:57:36you, Travis, I don't gave that a lot of people know that address.
- 1:57:41Yeah, and now Taylor want to spend the night. You know,
- 1:57:44she coming to the night game, and he don't want to can't take off
- 1:57:47right, He don't want her to hit the wrong thing. You said that
- 1:57:49we could still see each other. You said she wasn't that important. No,
- 1:57:57no, big brug protecting me. I gotta salute you on that's the
- 1:58:00company, answer says, it's the fame. It's fame just too as the
- 1:58:04company is. Ain't nobody moved to Kansas sitting them the same people you've been
- 1:58:09around for the last nine ten years. They've been dropping buffalo wings over there
- 1:58:13to you. It's them. I know what it is. But Jason,
- 1:58:15hey man, that's what you're supposed to do as a big brother. Take
- 1:58:17the little man, protect them all. But I know what they ring it.
- 1:58:21He probably got one of them photo camera things too. Whe a person
- 1:58:27with Taylor down there getting some cereal and she can look on the monitor and
- 1:58:31see a chicken a two piece Kansas City swimsuit. Like I I thought,
- 1:58:39you said you broke up with her. I did, but Jason, I
- 1:58:45appreciate that. And a woman up in Michigan this funny story. She rented
- 1:58:50some designer clothes and then sold the designer clothes she has been taking in the
- 1:58:59custody by the feds. Uh. But when you rented the clothes, there's
- 1:59:03companies you can rent the clothes and pay by the months. They wouldn't do
- 1:59:10that. Now, whatever she rented she went and sold right, you're supposed
- 1:59:14to send it back. She was seling. They said she made over seven
- 1:59:16hundred and fifty grand with this scheme. Fifty grand. It's a case.
- 1:59:21That's why they came to get them, this federal case. I was about
- 1:59:25to say, I can't imagine they the gut it for one or two bad
- 1:59:28It's just like keeping a rental car, and then to say, I'm just
- 1:59:30gonna decide to sell the rental car because I had it for a week.
- 1:59:32Yeah, she was doing it with clothes. I knew you could rent,
- 1:59:34but I thought like it had to be one of those I didn't know where
- 1:59:40people would get. I knew tires off of rental cars. They go rent
- 1:59:44a car tired, they had switch that. Oh wow, that's the old
- 1:59:48one. They say they're looking out for that now. Produ Yeah, I
- 1:59:58tell you if you've come up with some real skin needs to be locked up
- 2:00:00and they yeah, my freedom just too. And then then you put your
- 2:00:04name on some stuff to get that much merchandise. Yeah, he thought those
- 2:00:10people weren't gonna come looking for the Valenciaga. I guess not. You got
- 2:00:15to put a credit card on file, and we are an ocean. The
- 2:00:19truth is he will throw your in the ocean. It's time to wrap things
- 2:00:25up on the Sports June Show with Wayne Candy. We designed an ocean to
- 2:00:57give you some sportshot testa minute to vent. Would like to thank you for
- 2:00:59tuning into today's show. Remember, as soon as we go off, you
- 2:01:01can go to Apple Podcasts, spot a five, Amazon Podcast, Audible,
- 2:01:08Deezer, or iHeartRadio and catch us Big Kenny Comanche, Greg Bad Producer.
- 2:01:14Thank you for your contributions today. As we talked about the All Star weekend,
- 2:01:18just happened in the NBA resind it their invite to Chris Brown, one
- 2:01:28of their sponsors. According to Chris Ruffles, had a problem with his past.
- 2:01:33Y'all. Let Chris Brown listen. That's the UNBA. You got guys
- 2:01:39that's pulling guns on people in the driveway, choking people on the court.
- 2:01:45Let Chris Brown live, man, let him let him live. How long
- 2:01:49does he have to keep us nineteen? What Chris Brown now forty about?
- 2:01:55I mean, I can't. I mean, she slapped me first. Y'all
- 2:01:57just gonna keep bringing up the stuff. The man is not Ike Turner.
- 2:02:02It was a one off at least as far as we know, you're trying
- 2:02:05to help I. I'm trying to help Chris. I thought you're trying to
- 2:02:12help, y'all. Let Chris Brown live. He still got a little window
- 2:02:15to give us that Michael Jackson, because if you think usher bad, this
- 2:02:20young man, to me was really gonna be the next m jail or something
- 2:02:27close to him. But Chris Brown says they rescinded his invite to play in
- 2:02:30the Celebrity Game on Friday, and he was really hurt by the NBA.
- 2:02:38So for that NBA not giving a second chance to Chris Breezy, fuck the
- 2:02:44R and Bfore, maybe that's a probably now, maybe maybe drop the R
- 2:02:53and B. Show Park drop the thug part off for R and B.
- 2:02:57Just be the R and B guy. I've known some people that's played in
- 2:03:00that game that's worse record than Chris. Hey, Chris Brown, he ain't
- 2:03:04apologized to the right person. Somebody he need to apologize to. It every
- 2:03:09on them. It's somebody else too. Maybe he didn't sign an endorsement deal
- 2:03:13with Ruffles. I don't know, but we hope you have a good afternoon
- 2:03:15from the Sports Junk Show. Peace,
