• Casey: Hey listeners, welcome back to the Mention It All Again pod. I'm Casey and I'm here with the always fabulous. Blake: And always sweaty. Blake. And thank you guys for being patient with us. This episode's coming a little bit later. ⁓ but but nevertheless, we are here and we are ready to I think talk about one of the more heart wrenching friendships in the Bravo universe. Honestly, I don't know if I can get through this episode without crying. it's a roller coaster. Are you tall enough to ride? Casey. Casey: I would say so. Emotionally and physically I am a tall lady. Blake: Well I mean if you're tall enough to ride then I have to be tall enough to ride because or reverse, if I'm tall enough to ride, then you must be tall enough to ride. Right. Right. ⁓ Yeah, Case Casey's a tall lady. Casey's a tall lady. I'm average. I wouldn't say tall. I wouldn't say short. Short to me is like you know, I f I would say medium. Casey: Right. I was gonna say if I'm tall enough to ride, that does not mean that you're getting on that same one. ⁓ unfortunately. Yeah. That's right. Blake: Medium sounds better than average. I feel like average is like punching down on myself, but medium I'm fine with. Casey: Right. Average does like denote somehow like it's not what you want. It's like it means that there's something that's better than that. Like so it puts you like at a disadvantage by the the connotation. Blake: It's like fine. Right. And I feel like it doesn't it it expands outside of height and suddenly now everyone just thinks in in every regard I'm like not interesting or or maybe they don't with no one wants to be my friend, I have nothing to offer. And that's I mean, clearly I have something to offer because I'm about to tell y'all about the fucking Trace Amigas. Because and why are we doing this episode? I think it's very important. Obviously probably everyone listening knows this, but Casey: D That's not the case. Right. Blake: They are going to be reunited again on the cast for the first time since season fourteen? Casey: So season 14, I think Vicky is technically a friend too. So if you want to get technical with it, they have this is their first time being housewives together since season thirteen. So it's been seven seasons, which is kind of crazy. Like to to be that ever present, to have that ⁓ like lurking, haunting the narrative esque vibe that Vicky has for seven seasons where she was axed is crazy. Like you can't. You can't get rid of the OG of the O C. Blake: No, I I it's very true. I think it's very funny. Honestly, I like I didn't mind their COVID season when they didn't have Tamara or Vicky and it was just Shannon. Only because like it was obviously a a goddamn mess. But like it is really a show where like you're not you can't survive without Vicky or Tamara plus Shannon and they're gonna be talking about Casey: Right. Blake: Vicky and Tamra and Shannon's relationship even if two out of the three are not on TV. So I feel like this yeah, you're right, like the specter of the trace amigas looms large. And so it's almost like we need to we need to do a comprehensive like timeline of how like how this like in indomitable friendship got started because I feel like in my head Casey: Right, exactly. Yes. Blake: They always just like they hit it off and then they've had some road bumps and then like they're fine now. But that's not really the case. Like they're it's a very strange, a very windy road, and I think it's important to like I think we should reflect on history. It's good to know history as we we start making some more history with season twenty. Casey: Absolutely. We'll we'll lay it all out there. It's definitely, as you said, a a bumpy road. It's it's not not smooth sailing for for the girlies. ⁓ and they start off on the scene as a unit officially well they don't name themselves this just yet, but they're all f on the same season for the first time in season nine is the the origin season, because that's Shannon's first Season on the show. Blake: Right. ⁓ yeah, so season nine, Shannon joins the cast. and Vicky and Shannon hit it off pretty quickly. ⁓ Vicky and Shannon are both Aries. So they both bond over that. I mean, I think it's funny because Vicky like always hazes the new girl and like hates the new girl. And I think it's funny that all it took was for someone to share her, like astrological sign, her zodiac sign for her to be like, Wait, I'm not gonna bully you. I'm not gonna put you through torture for an entire season. I'm not gonna dig up dirt that maybe you've never even heard of before. And I'm not gonna sling you through the mud and I'm not gonna ⁓ I'm not gonna jeopardize your marriage. ⁓ well for now. and and so they they hit it off in that regard. She also thinks Shannon's smart. She thinks she's funny. ⁓ and season nine Casey: Right. Blake: Is really like just sort of them I would say like realizing that like that's them getting their bearings as friends. And also Shannon, ⁓ you know, really did not hit it off with Heather Dubros. So there's a lot of other stuff, but I wouldn't say that they take any sort of Trace Amigas like shape at this point. But it is important, I think, to know that like Vicky and Shannon had like an immediate connection. And I think Tamra was always a little bit like skeptical of Shannon. I mean, this doesn't really go away, but they have personalities that just clash. Tamara's a lot more I mean, Tamra obviously can be volatile and can cause a lot of problems, but like she's I think a little bit more of a level-headed, like rational person when it comes down to it. And Shannon is not, to say the least. Casey: Yeah. Blake: ⁓ and so I think like there's just they always sort of clash in their reactions to situations. ⁓ so anyway, season nine, it basically, you know, we're just meeting Shannon and the three of them like each other. Now season ten is really where we start to get, you know, the kind of amalgamation of like there's a trio here and like they have their own dynamics individually with each other. But like generally they also enjoy hanging out as a threesome. And you know, th the very first sort of scene. the very first sort of scene that I think like I didn't realize this was like one of their f their first scenes together because it seems like they already have such an established friendship. But it's that scene of them taking a shot, all three of them, and like kind like puckering their lips and going, Woohoo! And that's like one of the first Trace Amigas moments. ⁓ and Vicky Casey: Well right, they sneak off on the cast trip because everyone's kind of being lame and like not wanting to to whoop it up and they take a lot of shots as they do. I actually stay tuned for further commentary on on this subject. But they also have that little scene where someone's phone rings and like they're all dancing at the table and it's like and Vicky's like Woo and that's like a p the same exact Blake: Literally someone's ringtone. Casey: moment that that's the same outing and they escaped like I even forget who's like in this it's like Heather, Megan, yeah, maybe Lizzie. ⁓ and at this same time too, Trace Amigas are strong, but their their enemy lurks just beyond the shadows because the brooks, the brooks of it all is happening like at it's like same timeline. So if you haven't already listened to our episode about Blake: Lizzie Ha ha. Casey: Cancer gate, give it a stream, and you can fill fill these gaps in. Blake: Get into it. Get into it. Right, yeah, and so that's important. I'm glad you mentioned that. That's happening in the background. This is not a Trace Amiga's heavy season because it's a cancer gate heavy season. But it is important to note that in season nine, Tamara was sort of shit talking Shannon and her marriage and saying Shannon was an alcoholic. So they have this Tahiti shot moment, they're dancing to the ringtone, they're all taking a shot together, they're trying to whoop it up before the other ladies come because they consider themselves to be the fun women of the group. they so Vicky ⁓ asks if Tamara is gonna like stay her friend because Vicky and Shannon had issues with Tamara the season prior. And obviously Vicki and Tamra just have had issues. They have issue it's like, you know, we we never know when they're good, when they're not. ⁓ so they kiss. Casey: Right. Blake: ⁓ as they are wont to do. They love that. Happy Pride Month. so we move on, st still in Tahiti, almost as if in the blink of an eye. The next day we're at dinner, and Shannon doesn't like to she likes to hold grudges. So she's still not like she still hasn't forgiven Tamra fully for the season prior talking about her marriage and calling Shannon an alcoholic, whatever. So Casey: Mm-hmm. Blake: Vicky and Tamara leave the dinner table and they go to the bathroom. Everyone thinks everything's cool. And Shannon starts telling all the other women that she thinks Tamra's a pot stir. which leads to a moment where the women are all together, everyone is like in diff two different golf carts, ⁓ and they're racing, and Tamara's in a separate one, and Meghan King Edmonds tells her, Shannon just called you a pot stir. So we get the make out session, the fireball shots, this the swimming in our clothes, like the fun whoop it up night, and immediately the next day we're not friends anymore. Cause now Tamra's pissed at Shannon and Shannon couldn't just move on and let it go. So Tamara's hurt by this. She feels like she didn't do anything. She does she did wasn't trying to stir any pot. Shannon just like can't you know, Shannon's not a good truster. Shannon doesn't trust people. So like Season nine and season ten, we don't we don't have the trace amigas. We have like a s a a whisper. We have an essence of the Trace Amigas, but they were not the Trace Amigas for the first two seasons ⁓ that Shannon was on. ⁓ season and and again, like I'm gonna plug the episode again, watch listen to Cancer Gate. That's what was happening this whole time. Like that took up most of the most of the time. So and and Casey: Right. No. Blake: Tamra did not like Brooks, so she's not really h fucking with Vicky heavy that season. Whatever. ⁓ season a Casey: Right, 'cause Vicky's with Brooks for like a long time. Like I think in my mind I think of it as just the being heavily centered around the Cancer Gate season, but it's it's long before that, and Cancer Gate like is is a drawn out situation. So really l a lot of Shannon's first like few eras of the show are kind of overtaken by this. Blake: Yeah. Casey: situation going on but Tamra hated Brooks even before the Cancer Gate situation. So there was beef on the Brooks front, on the Amiga's front, long before Shannon even arrived. And you're right. Like they really are connected all by each other. Very rarely all three connected every direction. Like you know, like they they stay connected because each one of them is always friends with someone but it's hard to get them all on the same page. Blake: Yeah. Yeah, I think that that's why we in our heads think that like the Trace Amigas like have been around for so long, because obviously to some degree they've all been friends, like, in some capacity, but they actually like oftentimes have like a rift and the three of them are not like always good. I think the amount of time that they actually are good is like a fraction of the entire time that they are all on a cast together. so anyway, we move so season ten, Brooks, you know, everyone's like, he doesn't have cancer. Vicky's like, ⁓ he does. I want a casserole. and so that's like basically the end of the the reunion is just about Brooks. And Vicky's Vicky's not she's not she's not changing it. She's not changing her mind. She's not she's not cop into it. We move on to season eleven. So we start season eleven Casey: Right. Blake: In a bad place with the three of them because Shannon wants nothing to do with Vicky because she lied about cancer and that's like she just is like, I can't have anything to do with that. ⁓ Tamara wants an apology because Tamra feels like Vicky, as you know, they've been close friends for years, Vicky should have texted her immediately when she realized that Brooks was a scammer. And been like, I'm so sorry, this was my part in this, like, you you deserve to know first. So they're both mad at her for different reasons. We get an incredible Oscar worthy cinema cinemat cinematographic scene that I don't know, I mean it's like sunset on the beach, they're at Casey: Yeah, it's very Big Little Lies esque. It's very HBO Max drama, limited series, family conflict. Blake: Yeah, it I I think Big Little Lies is exactly how I would put it. Like the women are at a beach function and ⁓ Vicky's Vicky sort of like for the first couple episodes shows up to these events and is just sort of lurking in the background to kind of see like do does anyone fuck with me anymore? Like what what's the damage? Like how do I how do I handle this? Casey: Right. Blake: and you know, spoiler alert, nobody really fucks with her, but especially not Tamara and Shannon. So we're at the beach and Vicky and Shannon sit down and they have this gorgeous apolog apology conversation. ⁓ yeah, sorry, not Shannon. Shannon ⁓ would never just simply waltz over and have a normal conversation with someone. so yeah, look just watch. Casey: Vicky and Tamra. Yeah. Blake: I wanna be us again. Casey: Camera slight little like smirk like yesing like Blake: Because they have so much fun together. That's the that's at the end of the day, like, number one, these bitches are on a fucking TV show. So part of them has to know. Like, I always wonder if part of them is just like, look, half of this is like not even real. Like, how how serious can we really like be about this? How how how like Mad can I actually be about this. ⁓ but then also, like, they have so much fun together. I think Tamra loves filming the show when she's good with Vicky. So we get that scene, and they are ostensibly fine. Except for I mean Shannon is not fine. And except for the fact that this is also Kelly Dog's first season. Casey: No. Blake: ⁓ and Kelly Dodd has a way of sort of like scorched earth burning everything to the ground and taking everyone down with her. So like we sort of do get some resolve, like, with Vicky and Tamara, and then it ⁓ so we go to the seventies party that Kelly Dodd is throwing and ⁓ Kelly gets into fights with basically everyone. Like, Kelly gets into fights with all the guests that Shannon brought. Kelly is screaming at David Bador y like, no wonder you cheated on your wife. ⁓ and Vicky w came with Kelly, so like this is further entrenching those bad feelings because now Vicky's like attached to Kelly Dodd and Tamara is on Shannon's side and like this is making her like not trust Vicky because she's friends with this person who is just so clearly like crazy, unhinged and like causing such a ruckus in public. so that doesn't do any favors for their relationship. ⁓ Vicky and Shannon do sit down and, you know, Vicky tries to have like another Oscar moment. with Shannon, but Shannon's not budging. Shannon says, I don't know if I can ever have that relationship with you again. like we said, Shannon doesn't really move on from her grudges. so Megan King Edmonds throws a party, Shannon and Vicky come face to face. And this is also the season where they have that I don't even know what you would call it. That like vehicle that they're driving in the sand dunes and they have that like accident where they roll over. Casey: Feel like it would be an ATV. Blake: Yes. I don't know why I was like literally trying racking my brain last night. Like, what would you call that thing? No idea. But it is called an ATV. And not important, essentially, like Shannon didn't call Vicky when she was in the hospital. So ⁓ Shannon brings it up at the party and Vicky's obviously upset, like why you know, I think you're just saying this to save face. And then they talk about how David Bador called Shannon a pig at the seventies party. And Shannon said, Well, you started the whole thing, the whole argument, so like I don't feel bad about that. and then Vicky Vicky I can't say that she also does herself any favors because Vicky loves to I don't know if it's like like sort of like in the moment shit just comes out or if like I I don't know. But she loves to just immediately kind of throw at you that there's a rumor that she has that she's keeping under her belt and she threatens Shannon and she says, you know, I'm gonna tell I'm gonna share your secret. and that obviously sends Shannon into orbit. We don't know what the secret is at the moment. But they're not good, they're getting worse. We don't know where this is gonna go. Then we have Ireland, which Ireland is actually really good for the Trace Amigas. Because Kelly Dodd absorbs so much of the negative energy. And Kelly Dodd is such a terrorist that you can't like no one likes her. And and no one is defending her behavior. Even Vicky is like consoling Tamara about Kelly saying, I'm no wonder your daughter doesn't talk to you and Kelly's just, I don't know, calling Shannon fat or whatever whatever she's calling Shannon. But they're not good with with Kelly, and so Vicki's like they're all bonding over being anti-Kelly Dodd. And so it's actually kind of good. Like you're starting to see them like realize like they have they they do have fun together, focus on that, focus on the good times. And also like they're comforting each other, consoling each other, like that emotional connection's coming back. Until the end of Ireland. So like three days when they're on the shuttle back to the airport and Kelly starts spouting off like rumors And attacks against the other women, and then she mentions that Vicky had also mentioned rumors to her about Eddie Judge and how he's gay. Which is not the first time we've talked about him being gay. ⁓ and I don't think it's the first time Vicki has talked about him being gay. S Casey: Well what I just don't understand about Vicky is like this cancer gate situation happened. Like obviously you kind of have to eat it a little bit and like try to get your friends back and like she's only really willing to do that in like the HBO scene way and not in like a real way of like Yeah, like let me like literally just keep apologizing and like not make a fuss for a little while because I'm like not on good terms. Like why in your rebuilding era do you start threatening Shannon's marriage and going after Eddie being gay? Like the little bit of progress that you're making, like immediately tumbles right on down. Like wait a second so you have a little bit of credibility before you start doing this. Like Blake: Right. Well it it's I think she needs humility because like you said she does need to sort of just like swallow her pride and be like I lost this round. Like there's no way there's no way you can cut it. Like I looked bad and I just need to sort of stew in that and let everyone feel how they feel about it and just like be nice and fun and you're right, like Cause in in the larger like beach scene, she also t for a second tries to like tell Tamara that she also has a fault in like the end of their friendship. And Tamara like immediately shuts it down and goes, ⁓ see, here we go. Like it it ha now it's pinned on me or whatever. And like she kind of drops it. But like that's because Tamara knows her bullshit. But like you you can't like it she doesn't know how to just say I was wrong. And that's the f that's the problem. And Why do you even have like rumors at the ready aimed at your friend's literal like husband of several years who she loves, adores, they have like built a life together? Why is that even in your arsenal? Why are you even why are you telling the new girl? Why are you telling the new girl who is insane? bonkers, like Casey: Right. Blake: Why was that a choice, an option for you? and why would you say why would you even engage with Shannon? Let alone threaten her with the rumor, because you know that woman is about a breath away from being committed to a mental hospital. And you think that she can withstand That's true, that's true. Okay, maybe a couple breaths. Maybe we're at a couple breaths here, but but we're getting we're getting close. But Casey: Not yet. Not yet. Blake: Anyway, it's it's very true and like you obviously Kelly Dodd is gonna let it slip to take some of the attention off of her that yeah, you've been calling Eddie Judge an F A G G O T. So I mean immediately all of the good Casey: Wait, did sh was she actually using that verbiage? ⁓ Blake: ⁓ no, but it would be really funny. Well actually I can't say for sure that she wasn't, but they never say that. No one can really say for sure. Casey: No definitive answer has been found on yes or no. So we'll have to leave that one open. Just ⁓ my god. I was kinda gagged for a second. I was like, whoa. Blake: Ha ha ha. Hehehehehe I know. I know. I kind of was like, wait, she's buying it. I because I kinda just said it like this'll be a funny joke and then I was like wait, but like if she runs with it ⁓ Casey: Well, I mean, like, in not in Kelly's defense, 'cause she's insane. But I think her reasoning, if you can even try to imagine what goes on in that woman's head. Vicki, like, she was Vicky's only ally. Like she pulled up on the scene and was like, I like this lady, as everyone's like, No, like she's nuts. Like she just lied about cancer. Like, do not trust her. Kelly's like, ⁓ no, I like her. Like, let's keep like a friendship going. And then all like when Vicky gets a taste of the The Trace Amiga's back, it's anti-Kelly. So I feel like Kelly was a little bit like, all right, let's tussle. Like you should have been a little bit more careful with what you were saying about your besties when you were w when you were with me. And it's like, it's like classic girl warfare, honestly. It is a little bit. Blake: Right. Like I mean, yeah, it's like it's like, ⁓ these these are your friends? The ones who you were talking to me about, how they're gay, alcoholic, how David and Shan don't sleep in the same bed. I mean, ⁓ I didn't realize you liked those people. But interesting. I just think it's interesting. Casey: Let's talk about it on this shuttle bus at four AM to the airport as we leave a trip where you've made the only ground you've covered in your relationship with them so far. Blake: And it's like shadowy, it's dark, you can only see like the whites of Shannon Bador's eyes, and she's like needing to be like like cuddled by Tamara and like consoled because she's losing it now. ⁓ so yeah, we we lose all the ground, every single bit of ground is lost. and at the finale party ⁓ which Ireland like pretty close to the finale party, so nothing really happens that changes their relationship in between then. ⁓ Tamara confronts Vicky ⁓ about just how she has a tendency for talking shit and spreading rumors, which I mean she does, but it's also funny because like the tables were turned ⁓ on her not two seasons ago because she was talking shit about Shannon and Vicky. So I mean I think it's funny, it's like It's like maybe we shouldn't be throwing stones, ladies. This these walls are made of glass. Casey: Yeah, I mean definitely not. They they've all got a lot going on. Blake: Yeah, so she confronts her about shit talking, spreading rumors. ⁓ Vicki like doesn't wanna hear it. ⁓ she tries to leave. ⁓ and I think it's funny that like she so she like dealt with the brunt of Tamara Judge and you know when Tamara gets that like she smiles and she kind of like gets this like devily like laugh or not laugh, it's like she smiles, her eyebrows arch and she's like and I think that's what happens when she gets drunk and like that's how you know, like this face, she's going in for the kill. And th she like went in at Vicky. Casey: Yeah. Blake: And Vicky ha Vicky was like zanned out or something. Like you know how Vicky gets sometimes where it's like she just isn't she's not really at one point like Tamara's like listing all like the the shit that Vicki was talking and then Vicky, while Tamara's still screaming at her, goes, Yeah, I'm sorry about that. It's like this monotonous like I feel like it's it's it's like genuine, but she's so zanned out, like she can't really get more genuine and emotional and authentic than that. ⁓ so Vicky, so Tamar tears her to shreds, Vicki's over it, she tries to grab her bag, and it's funny, like the way it happens is like she's about to leave ⁓ whoever's house it is, and then Shannon's like, Nope, I'm going in. She like turns around and like runs after her. And at that point, like Vicky is so drained. ⁓ Shannon obviously is not happy that Vicky was talking about David. And this is when we find out that the fucking secret that Vicky was holding over Shannon was that David Bador allegedly beat her. insane that you would use that piece of information as leverage whenever things got kinda bad with you and a friend, that you would use something they talk to you about so in such a vulnerable state and threaten it not only in front of a a party full of people, but on television and then double down at the reunion. ⁓ where she's she literally says that she has proof of it and she actually looks like such an asshole. It's funny how she spent an entire season, like from or two seasons, but like from the end of Brooks to the end of this season coming out looking exactly the same amount of asshole, if not a stinkier, smellier asshole, because Shannon is going through her phone. And she's like, I'm like this was the situation, like th this me and David had this one incident, like he didn't beat me, but it was like not a like a great night. It was like a very vulnerable, scary time. And I called Vicky and she's like, going through the whole thing. And the as a viewer, you're just like, Yeah, like that does seem like a plausible thing that happened. I'm sorry, that doesn't sound great. And it's shitty that Vicky is trying to use that to like, I don't know, like win the argument or something. So Shannon says, I will never speak to you again. That's when she screams, I will never speak to you again. And so it's like, okay, we're like, I don't know how we become friends after this. and Tamara also like gets mad at Vicky for going for saying like Eddie's gay again. you know, basically it's a rumor roundup. And we end with Vicky doubling down on everything and everyone like Shannon and Tamara, I I'm excited for you to take over because I I actually like don't think I've ever had like a timeline in my head of like their friendship, but when you watch this, you think to yourself, There is no way in hell or heaven on God's green earth, wherever you are, that these women become friends again. Like they are mad. So that's where we end things, then moving into season twelve. Casey: Well in season eleven like basically becomes like a wash because for ⁓ on the topic of the Trace Amigas, because like we said, Vicky undoes any goodwill she tries to build up and the goodwill that you need to build up post being associated with a cancer scam. at best just being associated at worst being direct being directly involved takes a lot of goodwill so she she doesn't make any ground i in fact it's it's worse it's we've gone backwards she like we've gone it further into the negatives but season twelve starts us off and it's exactly where you'd where you'd think we are Tamara and Shannon are united against Vicky ⁓ and honestly, like to be candid with with you, Blake, and with with the listeners slash watchers, this is not a visually appealing season for Shannon or Vicky. Like, they do not look their best. Like, Shannon is like having my mom said this just to describe one of our relatives in an old photo over the weekend. She said that was one of his biggest moments. This Blake: Ha ha ha ha. Casey: This is one of Shannon's biggest moments this season, season twelve. Blake: Is this this season when ⁓ she's getting weighed and she takes her like shirt off and it's like Shannon like Casey: Yes, yes. It's like that's that's why I say it, like, even though it's like kind of rude. Like because like now you know what season I'm talking about. Like everyone's like, ⁓ yeah, it's the one where she's Blake: Uh-huh. Casey: having her one of her biggest moments and she's one of her saddest moments too. Like she is not in a good place. ⁓ and she has ⁓ she has a toilet in her relationship area when her when her feng feng shui artist comes over to analyze her house. Like so her house is a mess according to her feng shui analyst. Her life's a mess. Her and David are Blake: They put her right, right. ⁓ my Ha ha ha. Casey: divorcing. ⁓ so that's bad news. Or like on their way to divorcing. Maybe they're not quite there yet. But they're on their way to divorcing. and Blake: Their divorce, by the way, like it feels like should have ended it should have happened at the end of like season nine. It really does last so long. Casey: Right, that's what I mean. I keep forgetting like when it actually it's it's it's in this batch of of seasons, but we have our Trace Amigos back on the cast, we have Kelly back on the cast, and then they they sprinkle in Lydia McLaughlin as like the like Blake: Yeah. Casey: messenger between the amigas and like the attempted healer of the amigas because obviously Kelly Dodd is not gonna be that figure. So a lot of this season is like them all refusing to talk to each other and Lydia going in between groups, like being like, talk to Vicky. Like what if you guys like met up for this, this, and this? And Blake: Comedic like Casey: Kind of similar to earlier seasons, Tamara is more open to reconciling than than Shannon. Like Shannon is mad as hell. She is so upset about the the David beating her allegations. Tamara's pretty mad too about the Eddie Gay rumors, too. Like y you this is not you know you know come reunion when you're trying to be on your knees begging for their friendship back, this is not gonna play well for you. Blake: Or if you get the friendship back sometime during the season and then they look and see, ⁓ at the beginning of this season you were calling me a hog Like you're gonna have to explain this. She doesn't think about that. Casey: Right, either way. It's so petty. It's it's so petty. And Kelly and like Vicky, they give like evil stepsisters in this in this era of friendship for them. It's like a little bit it's hard not to be on on Team Tamara Shannon during all of this. ⁓ It's good TV. No, it's it's nuts. And like it's very tense, but one event they all get together for is Kelly is having a Blake: Right, but it is good T V, the two of them together. Casey: boob vi voyage party cause she's having cause she's having breast augmentations. ⁓ and when they're there, like Tamara really wants to talk to Vicky because that's they're all in the same room and Shannon is like Blake: Ha ha ha. Casey: Hell no, like you are not doing this right now. Like I like you are not going back on this. Like we said, we're not gonna be her friend. Like, so it's kind of like ⁓ they're starting to like chafe a little bit the the the Tamra Shannon alliance and and Liddy God McLaughlin is like I think that Shannon's ego is bruised because everyone like is like, ⁓ Vicky and Tamara have such a special connection, like it's really worth saving, like we gotta fix them, and no one's being like, ⁓ and Shannon too, like that's that connection's really special. So like she thinks she's mad. And I think that's a I think that's the right analysis of the situation. I think Shannon is a little bit like miffed that Tamara's willing to like go back on like their you know, they're the duo right now. So that the tides will change if if Vicky comes back in and like if Tamra has forgiven her more than Shannon, that puts Shannon on the outs. They have a very fragile a very groups of three are hard and fragile in their own right, but this group of three is extremely fragile. ⁓ and at Blake: Right. Yeah. And Shannon has she's notorious for like she is the phrase, the like incarnate of the phrase, like misery loves company. Like she needs if she's not done being upset at somebody, then she needs someone else to also be upset with them so that she can talk about it with them. So like she ⁓ if Tamra were to like, you know, be like, I actually am cool with Vicky again, like she wouldn't have anyone to shit talk Vicky to. So that would be a huge problem for her. Casey: Well, right. And like, you know, Tamara's like sort of coming around and as she's like debating this with Lydia and Shannon. Somebody comes over and like there was like this party with like Kia's like it was like Vicky was there with like Gretchen, Lizzie, like a bunch of like other former cast members. Like it got like five minutes of screen time in the episode, so I kind of skipped past it, but then it comes back up because at this party, Vicky again was engaging in talk about Eddie being gay. Like Gretchen and them were like, Eddie is gay, and Vicky's like, I don't know, like I I can't say. Like, so Tamara finds out that she brought this up again after like trying to be like, talk to me, Tamara. Like, or yeah, like talk to me, let's meet up. So Tamara's pissed again. Like, it's literally horrible. It's so bad. And Shannon gets all activated, like, on Tamara's behalf and starts calling Vicky a liar and like talking about how she's always raking their names through the mud. And it's like, yeah, like you are. Blake: What w You are and it's like it's like what do you get out of this? Like w what it's it's like a weird thing because it's like they're on TV and she's clearly like using it as like a a point of like a leverage point over them. But it's also like nobody like I mean, I don't know like if this was a real like I I I don't know if she's making this up or if these are like real rumblings or something. But like clearly Eddie isn't fully like a hundred percent gay. And we don't really see anything that like leads us to believe he likes men. So like it's like you know, what do you you keep saying this, like it's Tamra's upset at you. It's there's no proof. Casey: Right. Blake: What is like the what is your goal? Like a are you just blinded with rage that you can't control what you're saying? Casey: Yeah. It's I I think that must be it. Like I think like something must if whether it's like her when her ego is bruised or like her pride or something, like I think something shuts down over her and she forgets like any sense of what would be like the best move, even just for like self-preservation for like this being her job. Like, you know, some of this is like truly like what led to her being kicked off the show, inevitably. But like even like when Shannon's calling her a liar at this event, I'm like, okay, yeah, it's not nice to be called a liar, even if you have been lying. Like I'm sure you don't want to be confronted. You don't want to be yelled at. But then Vicky r retorts back at her with, you've been lying about your husband beating you. Blake: So we've learned nothing. Casey: And you know what, Vicky? That's one of the rare topics that women actually can lie about for a little bit. Because sometimes it's a safety issue. Sometimes it's a mental issue. That's one of those things that you don't get to judge somebody lying to the public about. That is actually a personal journey. That's really not your business. It's not even a lie. Like, she's not lying. Like she's still married to this person. He's still the father of her children. Like she doesn't want to on air be like. Blake: Right. Right. I mean I'm sure setting it up and cameraing it took longer, but The the scene that we get is like less than two minutes long. They start fighting immediately. It's when Tamara like hits Vicky with when they're like arguing very loudly the calm down Vicki. It's not a good look. And Vicky just looks destroyed. Like it's literally like, ⁓ I guess she got you there. Blake: Torn up. Torn the fuck up. Casey: It's like, whoa. And it goes really badly. Vicky is like Tamara's like, why like would Eddie be with me if he's gay? Like why like why don't you like let's let's like dive into these rumors you keep engaging in? Like why would he be with me? And Vicki's kinda like Maybe to get a gym? I don't know. Blake: The layers to that are really good. Like Casey: To get a gym, to get a failing gym. Blake: Right. ⁓ to to get a gym that they end up closing like the next season. Also like the concept of like the concept of a gay guy needing a whole fake wife to go to the gym. Famously gay men who are obsessed with vanity d can't figure out how to get to the gym without marrying Tamra Judge. Like w ⁓ She didn't even She didn't even ask herself that question. And like this Tamara like is like, wow, they're talking about this gay gym, gay gym trap. Tamara just kind of like has like something like hits her and she's like, you know what? You don't deserve me. You don't deserve me, and I never should have come here in the first place. And she like just gets up and gets the hell out of there, and Vicky's like gagged gagged boots like she's just kinda like ⁓ okay like whatever so things are bad Shannon won't even talk to Vicky like things are not good but Lydia McLaughlin still persisted and they they all go to Iceland where things thaw off a little no pun intended Blake: Ha ha ha ha. No I I love that you wrote that down in the show notes. You were like, I need to remember that. That was good. Casey: But actually though, they they do thaw off a little bit. But only because Vicky has like ⁓ I don't I don't even know what you'd call it. It's like ⁓ she's has like a rula moment of like she had to be taken by rescue. Like she had she had like headaches, she had like everything going on. They like cover her in like a bed sheet like when she's leaving and like carry her on a gurney down the stairs. She's like hot, she's like throwing up maybe. ⁓ just a whole smorgasbord of symptoms and they rush her to the Icelandic hospital. ⁓ Blake: Ha ha ha ha. Ha ha They are carrying her down the stairs in a wheelchair covered in a sheet. Like it is you you you have to excuse the evil of what she just did in the the pri previous scene. ⁓ because no one's doing it like that. No one is getting carried downstairs in a wheelchair covered in a bed sheet. And then can you tell us what the issue was? Casey: What with her health? I don't even recall. It's not bad. What does she have? High blood pressure? Blake: Yeah. I recall it was like she was drinking too much and not getting enough sleep and ⁓ yeah, so they had to give her aspirin. She's she's cuckoo like crazy she's hypochondriac down. ⁓ and every time she gets taken to the hospital, which is like once a season, it they're always like, You just need to like go to sleep. Drink some water. She's like, I I really thought I'm so s I really thought I was gonna die, guys. And Tamra's like, Okay Casey: Right, yeah. She's just like exhausted and like right. Blake: Like Casey: Well, it worked though, because when she was gone, like the women are like concerned naturally. ⁓ Peggy is extremely concerned, most notably, but that's not important for this conversation. Maybe we'll we'll return to Peggy some other time. But yeah Blake: I think we should. I think we need to have a moment with Peggy. Casey: But they all like feel bad and like they all debate going there, but as it turns out, obviously she's fine. So they come she's coming back like in like twenty minutes. So they don't have to go there, anybody. Like we can all take shifts. Like she's gonna be in there for like six weeks. Like she's there for 30 minutes. But they're like, ⁓ we should get her a casserole, like to go from the restaurant, because that was her whole beef during the brook stuff was like, if somebody's sick, do you get a casserole? And like when she crashed the ATV, she was like, Why is no one bringing me things? things like why was no one with me in the hospital? So they're they're on the right path of thinking to be Vicky's friends, you know, they're they're back in that mindset. So honestly, and like, you know, she comes back and she's happy, but it's not like a real casserole. It's like a to-go order of something, some bullshit. Right. Blake: In like Iceland, I mean like they don't do casseroles there. Casey: But it worked. Like if that I mean, obviously nobody likes this. And like if a housewife like sees you doing this on the internet, they like, well, go scorched earth. You can't like call strategy on like a health scare and they then they get all like, My health is not a joke. Like, okay, this is taboo. But like if if that was a strategy of Vicky's to have a freak out and have a medical issue Blake: Ha ha ha. It would have been clever and would have worked. Casey: hook line sinker because she gets back from the hospital and they all like sh they crack open the champagne like they're like let's go to Shannon's room and like mind you Vicky and Shannon are not friends but they're all hanging out in Shannon's room now and Shannon like isn't fully having it. Like she like is like a little bit like all right wait I don't know if I'm this good with her actually. Like I was fine with the casserole but like As they kind of drink, Shannon's like, why is she drinking champagne if she was just in the hospital? Like, first of all. And as it progresses, Tamra and Vicky kind of start to talk in like an actually productive way. And Shannon is getting so mad. Like she's sitting next to Megan King Edmonds and is like. Blake: Mm-hmm. Casey: This is bullshit. Like, you're a liar. And Megan's like holding her back from across the couch. They're like listening to Shannon. She's like, liar, liar. And Vicky and Tamra are just like having this like moment. Like that couple in Starbucks, like, is that allowed? Like they're like in the corner, like, and Shannon's livid. But it it's all going it's going well. And this is another really good scene for Tamara on her like acting resume. I mean, like, I understand it's real, but Wow, she's powerful. Her her like forgiveness monologue and her like ⁓ she's like get talking to her about Brooks and she's like, you chose him over me. And like I'm like, ⁓ like wow, like this is this is gut-wrenching. Like she's really like nailing this line delivery right now. Blake: Like Tamra, which is I I think why they had no choice but to bring her back, like expeditiously. she gets that like being a housewife, being a good housewife involves conflict but also resolution. And she's not afraid to like she can she can like put her th her feelings to words, I think better than a lot of housewives can. And so she does have those moments where she's like she's letting it all out. And then I think once she does that, she's like, okay, we can move forward now. and I think that like that I mean, she you have to give her flowers. She's like one of the best, one of the most like historic housewives because of that. Like she gets the formula. And Shannon just like Shannon I'm not saying Vicky Casey: Right. For sure. Blake: doesn't need to be checked or that like Shannon had no reason to be upset. But like Shannon just wants to be miserable at a certain point. There does come a certain point where it's like, girl, have a have a flute of champagne right now and just put it to the side. Get drunk and maybe have like a a fun, like, girls drunk convo together where you open up and bear your heart to each other. Like instead you're sitting over here like Casey: Right. Right. Blake: Grunting things to Megan King Edmonds, who like you would also like to see dead, like just have some fun for once. Casey: Right. And it's funny that you say that 'cause that actually is kind of an a issue that Tamara takes with her in in the next season, but Iceland Iceland, this is a major step forward for Vicky, for Team Vicky. Her and Tamara pretty much are good here. Like this is like for them. They've almost worked it all out. Shannon like just kind of lets her guard down. I think she's probably like, you know, what is the point? If like they're gonna be making up. So like the next day they all kind of like are getting along and kikiing. There's apologies at the reunion. They they have their big like group. hug of like, I'm so sorry. And honestly, honestly, not to like stir up old wounds. But if I was Shannon, It really is all about Vicky and Tamara. Like Shannon gets like such the short end of the stick in these apologies. Like the apology that spurs this big group hug is from Vicky to Tamra. And Shannon just kind of gets like a like, come join the hug. Like and then Vicki hits her with like a I'm sorry, but like she doesn't get a whole segment, like not an Andy Cohen-led segment. Like that was for Tamara Vicky. So I would probably feel a type of way if I was Shannon as well. But everyone is is good going into to season 13. ⁓ as good as they've been in quite quite some time. And they open up the season with Vicky apologizes to Eddie one on one, ⁓ face to face. So that kind of like puts a pin in in that, you know, friendship issue. Blake: Vicky Vicky tells Eddie I don't I don't think you like boy pussy. I was just saying that. Casey: Mm. And Eddie is like, ⁓ okay, well like, you know, there's still some wounds, but like we'll we'll we'll work on that. ⁓ Blake: Eddie was like, I I my wife needs a job, so whatever I have to say to get this to be done. Casey: Right. Tamra said I have to do this scene with you so the viewers don't think that you're homophobic. So here you go, Vicky and Tamra. Right. And so that that fixes that issue, and there's no need to apologize to David Bador for the beating the beating rumors because now him and Shannon are getting divorced. At the start of season 13 is when it's happening. Blake: Here you go, Vicky, but I fucking hate your guts, by the way. ⁓ my god, it really it really was we had to deal with like almost four seasons of them. Wow. That is crazy. Casey: And I would say like this season counts too, because like it's when she's in like the thick of it. So she's still talking about him all the time. And it goes into like 14. But to help her get over it and to help her process, the girlies go on a Trace Amigas only Mexico trip that we get ⁓ a whole ep of just their little trip, which is not very common in the housewives world. So that shows that they've got a a bond that people like because Usually that's they don't get a whole trip, you know, s you gotta make the whole cast go or like we'll hold that off. So asterisk. But you know, this is like a classic trip for them of like a lot of like the the phrases and like the things about them that you'd you'd think of when you think of the Trace Amigas, like when they're going to to Puerto Vallarta, Shannon's waiting for Vicky and Tamar at the airport and has she like like why is there a bar that is giving Shannon to go tequila shots at the at the Blake: Yeah. Casey: Opening of the airport. Like Shannon goes up to the to this bar and is like, Can I steal a tray and and kind of like go greet them with these? And I'm like, Are there laws at this airport? Like Shannon like literally takes a server tray and like walks down the airport to greet them. I'm like, Okay. And they do shots. Right. At check-in. Blake: Ha ha ha. Why is there a bar like at arrival? Like after you've gotten your bags? Right. Like why is there a bar right next to where you you put your suitcase on the conveyor belt? ⁓ Casey: And why is it like to go and why did she say yes to that request of giving you multiple pieces of glass on a tray at the busiest section of the airport? Blake: That she ends up dropping, shattering. Casey: She drops all over the floor and not only do they drop it, her and Vicky like fall on top of it. Like like I said, they're coming out of their biggest moments, so go it was a scene. It was a scene. It was a scene. Blake: Ha ha ha ha. The ⁓ Can you imagine l y they're rolling over and and there's just gashes and gashes and like blood all over the floor? Like Casey: That's what I mean. Like that's what I I think they had to have left with a few gashes. And like these airport employees are like, ⁓ like trying to pick them up off the ground. I was like, God, I would be so embarrassed if like this was someone that I was with or related to. But I'm glad they're having fun. Like she doesn't even like this guy. Like he's a fucking flop and I don't know why she's like doing this for someone that she's not even like really that into. Like they're like and Shannon even says this to her, which like Blake: ⁓ my god. Casey: Just not necessary. When they're like drunk. Shannon's like, how can like I can't take you seriously talking about this guy because like the way you talked about Brooks, like you literally said he was your soulmate all the time and like you've clearly like actually loved. I'm like, why like are you on do you wanted to go get back with him? Like, why would you even say that? Tamara was kinda like, Okay, Shannon, like turn it down a notch. ⁓ Blake: Why would you bring that man's name up, girl? Also, just like Vicky, look, like it's great that you're in love again. ⁓ you happen to need to keep your job and being like the lady who's constantly like, I can't do that after you're the lady who like did all of that for several seasons. This is your place. You found this place. Like they're there because of you. Ugh, whatever. She's living lodge. Casey: in the place that you've done it in before many times. Like, come on now. ⁓ And like they're they're all like kind of like having a weird a weird trip too because like Shannon has the divorce thing in the background. ⁓ Tamara's like upset about something with Eddie's like health. Like I feel like she's being dramatic, but he like has like it it's ongoing between these two seasons where he has like a couple issues, but she like is all upset. So sh they're so drunk and like they count the next morning and they did like fifteen shots total plus all like getting like plenty of drinks. So just shots of tequila, they counted fifteen, like when they're when they're debriefing. And like Blake: ⁓ he has like a heart issue. Casey: What the damn hell? Like that's a lot of alcohol. Like that like really put into perspective for me, like just I knew they were getting drunk, but that really put it into frame just how drunk they were getting. Like I like didn't realize that they like they played just that hard. I thought it was kind of like trick of the editing of like the drinks like being sung back. Blake: I mean now we have a whole new meaning to whoop it up. Like that's why they hang out together 'cause probably Heather Dubros three glasses of champagne then she's going to bed. Like sh she's not doing fifteen shots and isn't this also when Tamara like jumps into a hot tub and like breaks her ankle or something? Casey: Right. Yeah, they're like I mean, Shannon and ⁓ Tamara are way drunker than Vicky and they like get back to their hotel room and sh ⁓ Tamara gets like naked immediately and gets in the hot tub and she's like doing like cannonballs and like jumping into the hot tub like it's like a full blown like personal pool and she like bangs her foot on the side of the thing and is like, So yeah, my foot's broken and Shannon's like, ⁓ okay and they're like, What should we do? And they're like, Just another shot, like we'll deal with it tomorrow and they have to like Blake: Ha ha ha ha. Casey: She has like her like Ramona in like Columbia moment, ⁓ like being like wheeled around. Is that Columbia? Ramona. ⁓ sh like she has to get like carried and wheeled and like ⁓ she found her scooter. Like we we know we know where it is. Tamra has it. Like she's using one of those for right. She's using that for like a large part of the the season. ⁓ and like, you know Blake: Yeah, yeah. Where is your scooter? That's Kim Zossiax, give it back. Casey: This was this was just good classic fun. But you still have a little bit of like the next problems like simmering 'cause like Shannon's divorce sends her like spiraling very badly and that starts pissing off Tamara. Like she gets Her like new grievances with Shannon being like, like you said, negative, like high maintenance, like overly like sad all the time. Like she's telling this is when Emily and Gina are on the scene for the first time. So like she uses them as like a middle of like that. Like they get a lot of that input about Shannon from Tamara and it like goes to a comes to a head when they're in Jamaica in season thirteen. ⁓ which is like if you think of if you think in housewife images of like scenes and of videos, if you can like picture it, Shannon's in like a high pony and like the fans are blowing on her in their hotel room because it's hot AF and they're menopausal ladies, so they all keep getting hot flashes. So they have all these fans blowing, like massive fans. And Shannon's completely crashing out because Gina like at the dinner table was like, why didn't you call Tamra when Eddie was having a heart a heart attack or whatever issue he's having? And Shannon like freaks the hell out because they're like, you're not a good friend to Tamra. And she like loses her goddamn mind and like feels very attacked and Emily and Gina go to bed because they like degaff about her. But Vicki and Tamra and Kelly go, and that's where the fans are blowing, and where Shannon and her high pony is like having a freaking meltdown. And like Vicky and Tamara are both mad at her for different reasons. Vicki gets pissed by like this reaction because Blake: Ha ha ha. Literally. Casey: They all are being like very kind to her in the initial moments of the crash out. Like they're being like, Shannon, like come on, like, you know, like it's like it's fine, like it's okay. But Shannon like continues to yell at them and like storm around and like tweak out. So then then Vicky ends up getting mad and 'cause like Shannon's like, Vicki, like how dare you? Like I always defend you. Like you didn't like you're not doing this for me. Like and Vicky reverts back to like You didn't defend me when everyone was calling me, like saying I'm a con woman. Like it's always back to the the con, the conning. The conning r sentence gets a lot of vocal airtime from Vicky. ⁓ but yeah, it's really bad for sh this is not a good Shannon moment. It like isn't Blake: my god. Casey: There's not a lot of reasoning behind the crash out. Like she every right to be a little bit annoyed, but like the level that it gets to, it honestly is like one of those things where like you can tell somebody has anxiety or like has other shit going on and like they just lost the reins of their emotions. And it isn't really about the the whatever caused it, the spark. It's about like Blake: Yeah. Casey: so many other things. So while I was like this is really a bad look for her, I also was like, I honestly have had moments where like I've felt like this, where like you're like so overwhelmed and pissed that you like can feel yourself saying things and you can't even like stop it. You're like, wait, like why did I say that? Like am I that pissed? Like, I don't know. Blake: You're just like emotionally vomiting. And I feel like the thing for Shannon is like I get like doing it once, but I feel like she does that all the time. It gets to a point where you're like, you just can't emotionally regulate yourself. And like I'm sure by this point the the women know Shannon well enough to know that like she does do this more often than just like this isn't like a ⁓ she's really just having a terrible like obviously she's getting divorced, that's like another thing that's added to it. But her marriage has been shit for a couple of years. So Casey: Right. The marriage has been causing similar freakouts for many years now, for her entire time on the show. So it's not like the divorce should have changed all that much. Beyond that, like I mean, she was deluded into thinking that that was gonna be a savable marriage. So for her maybe it felt different. Who knows? But yes, it is like a completely Blake: Yeah. She's insufferable though. Like I remember this trip and it's just like I I don't think I've ever had a situation like this to this extent or like any of my friends where like they just that you can't get through to them and like anything you say Casey: Well, even like one of the things that pissed Tamara off, like I feel like this it's like a little thing, but this like shows what she means. Like they were at like they were doing like a bunch of activities around Jamaica, like cool outdoor stuff. And they're at like a little like lake, l river, lagoon, a a body of water, if you will, whatever one you like. Take take your pick. I I I don't care which one. But they're all like, you know, jumping in, there's like a little rope swing, they have guides, it's all like very it's not like Blake: A puddle. Casey: extreme sport. It's like cute and playful. Like it's not very high up. It's like just a good vibe. It it looks fun to me. Like I'm like, ⁓ that looks nice. And Shannon and Vicky like, No, like I don't wanna go in those waters. Like the water looks dirty. Like Blake: Ha ha ha. Casey: I don't wanna get in. But the other women are having a great time. Like, and when they come up, like there's a little like food area and drink area, and the girls come up like out of the water, and they're like, We feel so good, like that was so fun. I'm nice and cool. Shannon is like freaking the fuck out. She's like, I'm so hot, like I'm freaking out, I'm so hot. Like sweat is caking on my skin, and they're like, Go jump in the water, like it's so refreshing and cool, like it's right there. And she's like, No, no, no. She's I think I'm just gonna go sit on the van until you guys are ready and like see if. If I can get a little cool, and Tam was like, go in the water. And Shannon's like, I would rather sit on the van than go in the water. And it's just like, it's one of those things where it's like, ⁓ like help yourself. Like, you don't really get to complain about an issue if you're not taking advantage of the resources available to you. Like, I understand that maybe it isn't your first choice of water, but you're in Jamaica. Like, what did you think? You what did you think you were gonna be at a resort the whole time? Then don't get on the bus to go to the outdoor excursion. Like, I don't know. It's just like, was there a miscommunication about? Blake: Right. Also some people Casey: About the the environment? Like Blake: I just think also she just likes to be miserable and I think she likes the attention that comes from being miserable and it's not like it's not the kind of ⁓ like, ⁓ I have a problem and like I don't know what to do. It's like she doesn't want help. She doesn't want to hear a rational alternative. She wants to complain and she wants like to like be a downer and she wants to take up space and let people know that she's upset and she's maybe hoping that like she gets sympathy. But like she she doesn't care ultimately. Like and that's how she gets. That's how she c that's how she is like most seasons for whatever issues. Casey: Right. Yeah. Well, and she's very like obstinate, like when they like make up Tamra and Shannon, 'cause they do relatively quickly. Like, it's on this trip. It doesn't take them very long. But I will like watching the apology scene on Shannon's part, it's very half assed. Like I was thinking, like, God, she's lucky that like Tamara let her get off with like a very loose apology. Like Tamara did a lot of the legwork in that apology, you know, for their friendship. Like she like gave a sincere one and took a shit one, which is like obviously not the spot you really want. You'd rather like give the shit one and take the sincere one. Like Shannon's in the in the good spot if you have to pick one. ⁓ but they they're good. Like they leave this season all good. The Trace Amigus start and finish this season with no major Blake: Ha ha ha. Casey: rifts between them. So like they're they're in a good era, but this is Vicky's last season as a as a full-time housewife. And like season fourteen, they're kind of phasing her out. She's there a lot, but not as much. And that's when she's like, I'm you like made me into a friend because she like didn't think that was gonna be the case. Like and then she leaves after 14. But 13 into 14, everyone's good. Blake: Right. Casey: Fourteen the women are they're all good. And like honestly, I think from pretty much now from fourteen to like current day, besides season what besides like the current day little lapse in friendship they had. I guess please hold. From this season till now, they've been mostly good until they have like kind of current day beef. ⁓ Blake: Well, I think the beef was about their Trace Amiga show that they did together. And that was ⁓ sorry, did you do you have the tea? Casey: Right. So hold on. Let's let's go to it in like a moment. But there's not that much that happens in season fourteen because like they're just on like good terms and like I said, Vicky isn't like a key key part. She doesn't have a lot of like solo scenes or like one on one scenes with them. But they have a couple like cute Trace Amigas moments, like when they're ⁓ they're on like the trip one of the group trips together and that's when Vicky again is like I was conned like standing outside with ⁓ Tamra and Shannon and they like on that same trip to get over that, like once again get naked, follow in the pool, ⁓ Vicky trips and like probably break something. ⁓ Tamra Tamra Blake: Love it. Ambulance comes. Casey: gets so drunk she runs into that bush at the finale party when Vicky's getting engaged to her flop man that doesn't last. So there are like little antics. It's it's a good it's a good time, Trace Amigus moments wise, but nothing too new and noteworthy for for the discussion. ⁓ and then we don't see Vicky after 14 until season 17, which Blake: Yeah. Casey: was recent enough that like there's not gonna be anything too juicy to rewatch, but season seventeen she like pops in and they're they're all pretty much good, right? That's like when she like comes in and like on their trip and she's like, ⁓ and they're like Blake: Yeah. She yeah, when she scares them at the door. ⁓ she just yeah, she joins them for like a trip to ⁓ some I don't know, like Mexico or something like that. And they're they're mainly talking about other people's drama. Like they aren't really Yeah, she's just there to have fun with them. I think that this is also the time when they launch their Trace Amigas like show. So I think like a lot of their falling out happens off camera and it's Casey: Yeah. Yes, yes. Right. She just like is a visitor. Blake: Like we hear about it in podcasts and stuff, and it's Yeah, and it's basically just like ⁓ Tamra pulled out of the show and like they w they just weren't in agreement on terms and like how to do things and whatever. And so it of course ⁓ gets nasty. Like they can't just have like a little disagreement, like then V Tamara has to go say things, Vicky has to go say things. So they had like this couple year, I would say, like, falling out, and then Casey: Post season seventeen, yeah. Blake: I don't actually know like the genesis of how they got back together. I do it was vague and it was like suddenly Tamara was tweeting positively at Vicky and then Vicky was tweeting positively at her and then they were doing like a commercial together and then it was like, Okay, I guess we're good now and then Vicky was announced to be coming back and now it's like Casey: Right. Right. Well we had on the show when Vicky comes on as like just like for a dinner. In one of the like more current seasons, I wanna say it was 18, maybe 19, after 17. ⁓ and they have like that dinner and it's when Vicky is like, This is icky. This is not how we treat women. Like this is we we be nice to women, we be there for women. That's what she says. ⁓ and like Tamra, when this is happening, it's like when Tamara Blake: Ha ha ha. Ha ha ha. Casey: like in Shannon or big time beefing. Like Shann ⁓ Shannon like is mad at Tamra for calling her an alcoholic on the show, like post the John Jansen like car wreck. Like Tamra's really on Shannon's case about that. Vicky comes on to kind of be her like support person there at dinner. And Tamra like slips in a little like Vicky, like I love you. Like so like they they always have their little like their little s thread between them. So like Again, it was kind of one of those things where like Tamara was always gonna open the door again to Vicki more than she was going to Shannon. But then on Instagram, sometime during the saga, Vicky, either on Instagram or on a podcast or on a social media app, where wherever, who cares? We don't care, said something about her and her daughter and Tamara went on Instagram stories and was like sobbing and was like Blake: Right. Casey: I will never speak to her again. Like this is so disgusting. Like this is way too far over the line. Like this is like where I draw it. So I kind of thought, like, ⁓ we might actually be toast here. Like Shannon and Tamra have been going like really low with like the alcoholism and like the stuff like that on the show. This is going pretty low. So I thought we were kind of at a at a point of no return. But then you're right, social media kind of just started to buzz up a little bit between Vicky Tamra, which made everyone think, ⁓ Vicky's coming back, which Allah, we find out. Allah. Pray. ⁓ I guess it would be alas, or like a la. I guess I like couldn't I didn't really pick there. ⁓ or a la, but ⁓ Blake: Yeah. A la I mean look like i ever whatever you whatever your thing is Casey: Vicky is coming back for season twenty. Center center orange mama where where she belongs. So I guess we'll we'll find out. But I did I did I do know that they're all good now. Like they're all three taking photos together now. ⁓ and I would imagine the initial Vicky Tamara again, because of like job security and history, probably came around because it started floating around at Bravo that they wanted to bring Vicky back. And Tamara and Vicky were probably like, well, we're gonna need to be good then, because like Blake: Yeah. Yeah. Casey: It's not gonna work otherwise. Like, or at least like we're gonna have to get there. I would imagine they have some strategy after being on a show this long. Like, and if you don't think that, like if that ruins the magic for you, then just ignore that I said that. But I do think that they're especially in a duo that's been on TV together for that long, like there has to be a like, hey girly, I know we said some foul shit, but like let's run it back and let's do it up and like you know, whatever whatever it took to get there, they c Tamra and Vicky clearly got there first. Blake: No, it ha they definitely talk. They definitely talk. Right. Like Casey: Vicky and Shannon have been good for since season thirteen. Like they haven't had any major falling outs between the two of them. So they're we know they're fine. So it's really I think w question mark that I'm excited to see on season twenty is how d how does the Tamra Shannon come together? Because the rest of it I see falling into place. Blake: Yeah. The Tamara and Shannon. Right, especially especially because like Tamara we didn't even mention like, you know, was good with ⁓ Alexis during the whole John Janssen thing. ⁓ they haven't really been like a hundred percent solid since Tamra came back. So like I am very eager to see how that part of the puzzle comes together. Casey: Great. Well, they were fine whenever they were doing the show, the like since she that was after she you know what I'm saying? Like after she came back. W whatever. Semantics. Blake: Yeah, I mean I feel like they they've they've been they've been like fine, but they've they haven't like it hasn't been giving like dos amigas, you know, and like I feel like ⁓ like Tamara I mean, she's also been like fighting other people on the cast, so you know, it's like I she can probably just take allies wherever she can get them, which is also probably why she's excited for Vicky to come back. She's like, girl, like fuck these bitches, right? Like, let's bring it back, run it back. But Casey: Right. Yeah. ⁓ defo. And like kind of like run over the like flop seasons and like the dumb storylines that they kind of had over the past couple years and and bring us back to to mainstream glory. So I feel like they're trying to play it cool with the Shannon piece so no one like knows because like everyone already knows she's good with Vicky. But I think that they're all gonna be good. Like the three of them will be harmonious. Cause the three of them were the edit was about the three of them. The two of them would never reposted it if they weren't. Blake: Not by Shannon. Casey: Good, but the three of them. Blake: Right. Right. And also like I haven't seen anything I feel like there have been a couple of things I don't remember what specifically that I've like hinted at, like the three of them are back together and they're good and Casey: One of them posted like a selfie of the three of them not too long ago, like I think like at the end of filming. Like there's been photos, like the Bravo account has posted them at a couple things. Like maybe it was like the upfronts or like, you know, if not that, insert other Bravo event, Bravo premiere. Like the three of them were pictured together. ⁓ it was like they gave Andy some award, like some California like It was like Newport Real Newport television award ceremonies, like gay host of women's show, you know, whatever niche like award it was, but they were all there and they posted a photo of the three of them. ⁓ like, you know, I know that they know that people are eating it up, so they're like, let's get a picture of the three of them quick, like before they start arguing. Like, but I think they're really good. I think they're gonna I think we're gonna have another harmonious Trace Amiga season to add to the Blake: Ha ha ha. Right. Palm Springs, Walk of Fame. Mm, okay. Right. Casey: to the tally this season. At least overall. It'll probably take us some rebuilding, but I think I think we'll have it. Blake: I hope the tally of one. The tally of one episode or one season in total where we have them actually all three cast members, full cast members, and on good terms. It's just one Like a full. And we don't even know if we're getting a full. But But I'm ready for it. I also think that like That is. And I And honestly, like I am ready for Casey: Okay. Okay, full time it's just w it's just one. Yeah. Well you know, it's just the one, yeah. Yeah, no, it's just the one. But that's real friendship though. Bumpy. Blake: I'm ready to move on from their drama and I'm ready to see them actually unite ⁓ like as a block against other people's drama. Like I I'm ready to see it be like the Trace Amigas versus like Emily and Gina and like Jen or something, some bullshit, whatever. But I just like I I really like don't I can't I need like at least two years before they do some fuck shit and have another problem because Casey: Right. Yeah. Yeah, I agree. Blake: Like doing this episode you re like you really realize like they're the Trace Amigas, like we think of them as this like established, like longstanding pillar of friendship. No. We have like I sent you a video and I was like looking up like Trace Amiga's best s best ⁓ moments or whatever and like I found like two or three videos. All of them had the same like four or three moments. And I was like, damn, these people are like so lazy. Like where are like the deeper cuts? Like where are like the, you know, not like the immediate videos you think of. And then I when we did the when we started watching the episodes, I was like, ⁓ it's 'cause there aren't any. ⁓ it's because those literally those are those are the ones though. Like they're those are the ⁓ those are the ⁓ ones. I mean, your fan cam, I think you did a really good job. But like Casey: ⁓ some, but not a lot. Right. Blake: There it's not like they spent four seasons like being like the Powerpuff Girls together or whatever the fuck. I I don't think I'm similar to Vicky. I'm either more like Tamara or Shannon. I'm deciding who I think. I think that I'm probably most like Shannon, I fear. Blake: The way you were so resigned to that answer. You were like, I I unfortunately, yes, I am Shannon. Casey: I fear, I fear it's true. I mean like ⁓ I do. I think I think so. Blake: I think I would probably say Tamara. I agree I'm not I the thing about Vicky is like at the end of the day, you know, she's not known for being like ⁓ a good friend. So like I love her. I think she's hilarious, but she's hilarious 'cause she's like somebody that I like don't understand at all. ⁓ so yeah, I would say Tamara and then maybe we should may we need to get a third person up in here.
