- 0:00Welcome back to Everyday Incestral, where we challenge modern norms within ancestral truths.
- 0:04Today's guest, Warren Phillips, better known as nontoxic dad, went from being sick, stressed,
- 0:11and stuck in a toxic world to come in a fierce advocate for root cause, healing,
- 0:16real food, and radical fatherhood. We talk about everyday poisons hiding in your home,
- 0:21what most doctors miss about detox, and how to raise kids who are resilient and body and mind.
- 0:26Whether you're a parent, a partner, or just sick of feeling sick, this episode will give you
- 0:31the tools to start clearing the clutter inside and out. Warren, I am so excited to have this time
- 0:38with you. Not only do I love spending time with you, but it's just so rare to get a solid
- 0:44amount of brick time with you, so I'm excited to share, but I want to go into right away,
- 0:50you know, what was your personal wake up call around toxicity?
- 0:57Well, I was like everybody else, and it takes challenges and circumstances,
- 1:01and we talk about this all the time, to kind of create enlightenment in your life,
- 1:06to move you past where you're at. Everything involves in your life. You're where you're at,
- 1:10you're where you're at. If you're listening to this, this is over your head,
- 1:12you'll have your wake up moment we all do. And so I had my wake up moment where I could no
- 1:17longer work because I had so much anxiety. I had to quit my job. I went to 10 different doctors
- 1:22because I wasn't sleeping at night. I was gaining weight. I was actually having night tears,
- 1:26chronic twitching, like all this weird neurological stuff. And the medical system said,
- 1:31you're fine. Here's one medication. Most people are on two or three. How long should I stay on at
- 1:36the rest of my life? So my science background and my faith, I'm a God guy. I was more of a religious
- 1:42guy than I'm more of a heart centered lover of humanity and God and people. And so, but then
- 1:51I really had that faith and belief that there was a reason for all this happening to me. And I
- 1:55needed to push through it. Otherwise, I was so sick, I was going to off my life. When I say I was sick,
- 2:00I couldn't go for a little hike outside because the stress of walking was too much. The stress
- 2:07of taking a shower was way too much. My body couldn't adapt to the heat, thyroid issue,
- 2:13hormone dysregulation. It came down to mitochondrial dysfunction and what was causing the problem
- 2:20was toxicity. Toxins, whether people realize it or not are the main driver of most of the health
- 2:26problems we have from low energy. It trashes your mitochondria. It causes massive hormone dysregulation.
- 2:34It stops your cells from causing autophagy, the natural process of cell death by messing with
- 2:40the cellular mechanisms. And then you build up a bunch of dead zombie cells that lower your energy
- 2:46that lead to the big sea that caused disease. So toxicity was at the root cause of all my health
- 2:52challenges. And I was lucky enough and blessed enough to listen to my gut because I was an environmental
- 2:59consultant. I had my master's degree in toxicology and chemistry. And I knew that it had to be that.
- 3:05Of course, none of the doctors would agree with me when I brought it up. I'm like, look,
- 3:09maybe I'm heavy metal poisoned. And there wasn't much science then, right? We're talking 20-some years
- 3:14ago, 2004, when I was looking for answers into 2005 until I found them. And there wasn't much
- 3:22literature out there, right? You could look up Mad Hatter's disease. You just had Lyme disease.
- 3:26You might have heard about arsenic poisoning, but getting sick from heavy metals was for the quacks,
- 3:35right? That wasn't even real. We were still pushing raw milk and raw butter and gluten-free crackers
- 3:42on the backstreet alleys, right? So there was no real Whole Foods delivering this stuff back then,
- 3:48right? It was a little bit in California. So I'm getting off track. So that's how I got passionate
- 3:53about this, because I realized that it was my job that made me sick. But full circle,
- 3:58what I realized it was everyday environments, because I tested them mold. The VOCs from your crap,
- 4:04you know, drywall and furniture and desktops and couches and your bed and the foams and the
- 4:10plastic energy and plastic industry, the plastic clothing that you're wearing, the chemicals that
- 4:15dies, all these toxins that are low-cost, high-profit were driving cellular dysfunction,
- 4:21hormonal dysregulation, inflammation, the chronic pain, all the muscle twitching, neurology,
- 4:29the neurology, the neurological problems, the brain fog, all these things was toxins driving
- 4:35at its root cause. So then once I found the answer, it was full-blown sprint and tripping and
- 4:41falling while I sprint over these hurdles to lower the toxicity in my life so that I had less
- 4:47exposure of things coming in and then how to properly open up the pathways and get stuff out.
- 4:55It's incredible, because I mean really what you're highlighting is kind of everything that's in
- 4:59everyone's life, right? From the food we eat to the environment we live in to the world we co-exist
- 5:05with, right? So what were some of the first things you did or did you, were you kind of like someone
- 5:11who is exposed to mold and you just got rid of everything? Like what was your first step?
- 5:18Well I burned through a lot of my cash and got in debt, but I did try stuff, right? I went to,
- 5:24when I found out that mold was one of the complicating factors and when I found out that heavy
- 5:28metals was an issue, I was using medications like DMPS and DMSA, which are prescription key layers,
- 5:35which were hard on me. They made me feel good for a day or two and then I would get really sick
- 5:39and fatigued and chronic headaches and pain from these circulating metals, but it was helping and
- 5:46it took, it was a process, that's how I started. I have solutions now that are much safer, easier
- 5:50and actually better using permanent binders, but so I started on that, more traditional route.
- 5:57I also went to Dr. Richie Schumacher, who was the mold illness creator, Dr. Richie Schumacher,
- 6:03so I'd go to his office. I was even injecting things like EPO to kind of downregulate my
- 6:08complementar immune system. I was taking a ton of colostyermine, this plastic resin and I can show
- 6:15it to the audience if it's on YouTube. I was taking a ton of this plastic resin to bind up the bile,
- 6:22which was a cholesterol lowering drug because it lowers by binding bile in the upper small intestine.
- 6:28When you do that, that bile contains cholesterol, that's why it's binding that fat, the bile,
- 6:34the bile acids contain a lot of cholesterol and fats, but also the toxic recirculation. That's
- 6:40one of the big problems with detoxification we can get into that later is that nobody understands
- 6:45you have to bind that toxic bile complex after your phase 2 detoxification conjugates and packages
- 6:53these toxins to be removed. They get sent through your liver, through the bile into your small
- 6:58intestine where they're getting reabsorbed in the portal vein in the lower small intestine. We
- 7:02can kind of talk about that later, but this journey and this path has been really eye opening to
- 7:07me because I really learned how to get someone healthy much quicker when it comes to detoxification
- 7:12because I would say 90% of what doctors or even doctors are doing are being a little rough on the
- 7:18patient by pushing phase 1 and phase 2 detoxification using these magical binders that aren't,
- 7:24that are saying that they do stuff that they don't, but that's how I went. I went with having
- 7:29a prescription grade binders, a DMSA, DMPS prescription grade gut binders like colostyramine to bind
- 7:37the toxic bile complex to keep the micotoxins and if you don't know about mold, mold produces a
- 7:43wicked micotoxin, think like anthrax, think a biological toxin that will take out a nation,
- 7:50right? Bio warfare, biological warfare. That's what mold does in your home. As they fight each other,
- 7:56they're putting off a wicked mass of biotoxin in your home. That's what makes you sick. You can do a
- 8:00quick search on Google and you can say if your home has too much black mold in it, can it kill you
- 8:06and it will say yes because of biotoxins. It'll just wreck your neurology, your nervous system,
- 8:11poke holes in your, the myelons sheath in your brain, poke holes in your gut, cause inflammation,
- 8:18you know, hormone dysregulation, all of it. It is a wicked toxin. One of the main reasons I was sick
- 8:23because my parents, when I moved back home, thinking I was going to get better, quit my job,
- 8:29to get rid of all the stress because stress was causing it. My parents said the baby boomers,
- 8:32it's just stress, honey, come home, live in our moldy basement and that's when I went from,
- 8:38you know, an eight out of 10 to a 10 out of 10 sick where I wanted to take my life. So it was mold
- 8:43that put me over the top after my immune system was armony compromised. One of the main insults
- 8:49to your immune system that cause immunosuppression is heavy metals is a lot of these environmental
- 8:57toxins and then you take biotoxins which are highly immunosuppressive on top of that. Your body,
- 9:04my body was just shut down. I was just a bag of dead cells and meat that couldn't function
- 9:11and couldn't go outside, chemically sensitive, you name it. So, but when I found these answers,
- 9:18I've tried to find the best experts out there, Dr. Dan being one of them, Richie Shoemaker,
- 9:23really trying to remove the root cause because I was like, if the doctors wanted to give me a
- 9:30med that wouldn't fix the root cause and that was my awakening, right? And I know that this is about
- 9:35awakening is when I asked the doctor, here's what you were looking for. When I asked the doctor,
- 9:41will this fix my problem? He said, no, it'll just make you feel a little bit better.
- 9:47How much better do you feel? 5% and I was being gracious? How long should I stay on this
- 9:52medication the rest of my life? So, I'm broken, you can't fix me. You don't know how this medication
- 9:57works, nor does this medication fix the root cause of my problem and I'm an environmental
- 10:03cleanup guy. So, I'm like, well, if you have a bunch of gasoline that's sitting in soil that's
- 10:10contaminated in the groundwater, you remove the source of the gasoline spill. You dig up the dirt,
- 10:16we off-gas it, we put it in a class hazardous waste landfill, we get it away so it doesn't
- 10:22pollute the environment anymore. Well, they didn't tell me that and when I brought them, those
- 10:26solutions are like, that doesn't work, that's not, there's no science there. And now today,
- 10:32fast forward, 20 years of evolution of health with all the things going on, we come to realize that
- 10:40environmental toxins, heavy metals, mold, micotoxins, what they truly, how much damage they can
- 10:45truly do to your body. The challenge is we're using diets and programs and supplements and people
- 10:54are still getting sick, obesity is still going through the roof because my message is you're not
- 11:00getting still, you're not digging up the source of the pollution inside of you, you're not removing
- 11:06it. And that's going to, you can't supplement that away, you can't GLP3, GLP2, you can't GLP1,
- 11:13you can't peptide, you can't BCP, BPC157, reddit trutide, blah, blah, blah, that peptide,
- 11:22peptide your way out of a toxic source inside your body that's polluting you day and day out.
- 11:28Some mercury amalgam fillings, a moldy home, your foam mattress, you know, like you can't
- 11:36out supplement, out diet that stuff, that's why my, you know, my tagline is but first detox,
- 11:42why detoxification is more important than nutrition for your longevity, weight loss,
- 11:47you name it, immune system, so important, your microbiome trashes it.
- 11:52It's a powerful message. I'm wondering though, as you came from, well, you come from science
- 11:58background, but you're also a man of faith. And what I'm hearing you say is that science was
- 12:05letting you down. So doctors, the industry was, you know, modern society in a sense was letting
- 12:10you down and you had to go inward to your faith to really find some answers and then reapply
- 12:20science so that it would work in conjunction with kind of what you knew and what you felt
- 12:26instinctively in through faith. So how do you look at, because I feel like we are in a society right
- 12:32now that everyone is using the crutch of science and they're not looking inward for answers,
- 12:39they're not necessarily like trusting their own instincts, they're just trusting with their
- 12:44doctors or the people that are coming from certain scientific backgrounds are saying
- 12:49and I feel like they're just being led down all these rabbit holes or these paths that aren't
- 12:56very effective to your point. You know, because the science is only as good as it is, right?
- 13:02But 20 years ago, it wasn't as good as what you needed. And how do we know it's as good as what
- 13:07anyone needs right now? Like, because it's always changing, isn't it?
- 13:11Well, you bring up, I don't know if this is going to be too controversial, but you triggered
- 13:15in something in me, I think faith and belief and trusting your gut can be very, very powerful and
- 13:22it is the way forward. It is getting into your parasympathetic. Love is the love is the medicine.
- 13:28God is the medicine for all of us giving us personal direction. But I also believe science is
- 13:34polluted and I believe faith is polluted. I think people use God and blasphemy feet, blasphemic
- 13:41type ways to manipulate people into programs and doing things into trusting them because,
- 13:47hey, I'm a man of faith. Don't believe me because I'm a man of faith. That's not my, you know,
- 13:52because anyone can say, I believe in God. Oh, he believes in God. He must be good. No.
- 13:58Don't believe those people. The overspiritual folks, that's a red flag for me. You know, I want
- 14:05you to go inward. I want you to find the voice of God inside of you, speaking life and hope.
- 14:11Here's what God sounds like. I love you. You're doing a good job. You're good parent. I know you're
- 14:18making mistakes, but you're doing the best you can. Remember when your parent treated you like that?
- 14:24Yeah, that's why you're doing that. Do a better job. Yes, I want you to be healthy. You're
- 14:29going to have to make some changes. I know. Thank you, God. Right? It's this kind, loving,
- 14:33encouraging voice like you would want to be for your son or daughter. So when someone is using
- 14:40faith or God to tell you, this is the answer. And God told me that's for you. And you should buy
- 14:47this. Be very wary because that is someone applying their faith in their path and their journey and
- 14:54their evolution on you. You need to evolve. Yes, you need to be inspired by someone like
- 15:00Chef Barry and non-toxic dad and, you know, whoever you follow, let it challenge you.
- 15:06Be open enough to know that, hey, I don't have all the answers and you don't have all the answers.
- 15:11Maybe we have something we can learn off of each other and you can use that energy
- 15:16to propel you for. But what I said before is probably the most powerful thing when it comes to
- 15:21healing. But now let's go to science. Well, science as we know is very twisted, right? It's wrapped
- 15:28around money and there's a money trail. So as far as glyphosate, for example, and this is all
- 15:33being exposed and everything is like this is that they literally manipulated the data to say it was
- 15:38safe. They manipulated the data and was paid for by people who had interest in Monsanto at the time.
- 15:44So this always happens and I question why they even released that and let us know that, right?
- 15:49So it is a game of trying to control the crowd because we do have the power. We have the power to
- 15:56take ourselves out or we have the power to elevate and change. But the science is always being
- 16:01manipulated, right? So and not everybody understands science. So the science that I understand is always
- 16:08evolving. The science of pharmaceuticals is always evolving and I think believe it or not, I think
- 16:14it's being forced into truth. I think it's being forced into longevity medicine. I think it's
- 16:19being forced into peptides and things that have less side effects and more benefits. So I think
- 16:25modern medicine is evolving. Thank God into towards more truth. I think humanity and faith, true faith
- 16:33and true connection, not manipulation using God to do what you want to do and to force people
- 16:39into your belief system, but to let them evolve and connect the God in a path and journey that's
- 16:45best for them based on their unique background and understanding and how God knows them
- 16:51intimately and wants the best for them. There's no way another human can have that for them, right?
- 16:56It's impossible. So faith is evolving. Consciousness is evolving. Science is evolving. We're moving
- 17:02towards more truth. That's why we're seeing this massive clash right now and that's why it's really
- 17:07hard. So yes, there are certain things that, you know, DMSA has a double fuel group binder and
- 17:15it binds heavy metals and you can pee them out and see it on a test. That's true, right? So I like
- 17:21those things, but when I was taking effects or, you know, for anxiety, they really didn't know how it
- 17:26worked and it made make you feel better. So I don't like that stuff. You know, so when you're looking
- 17:30at science, you know, look at really how these mechanisms work and are they addressing the root
- 17:37cause of your problem versus putting a bandaid on? I know it's an old saying, but you don't want to
- 17:42use a medication to put a bandaid over the the red car light saying you have a bad engine problem,
- 17:49the the engine light on your car. You really want to figure out, whoa, I haven't changed my oil
- 17:55or wait a minute. I need new spark plugs like you need to change some things in your life.
- 18:00And with the onset of the peptide science, which gets me upset about that and I like peptides,
- 18:06I use some of them, but I think you can't out peptide nature in our connection to nature,
- 18:12good clean food, regenerative farming, sunlight, grounding. These, this is the this is the path
- 18:20for James Barry, you know, to quote some of our, you know, our presidents, our president,
- 18:28presidential campaigners, that's the way forward, right? Is getting back to nature, getting reconnected
- 18:34with God. And it's not there's no, there's no magic peptide or magic supplement that's going to
- 18:41fix our disconnect from nature. And that's the problem. Science disconnected us from nature,
- 18:46and we need to get reconnected using science to reconnect us to nature. And influencers,
- 18:52Huberman, many of these great influencers now are saying, wait a minute, you need sunshine,
- 18:58wait a minute, you need grounding. And there's stacks of literature, especially from other countries
- 19:03that make all of this woo-woo very true. Yeah, it's, it's, it's a, it is really cool the way
- 19:14that health continues to evolve. And I, and basically where the science that everyone used to
- 19:22promote is now getting kind of eat, like you said, you see they're conjoined with ancestral
- 19:27practices, or the ancestral practices are in sync, you know, they're, they're almost like, no,
- 19:33you can't avoid these things. Like we cannot, to your point, we cannot let science replace
- 19:40these ancestral practices because they are, as you said, nature. They are humanity. These things
- 19:47will never change because they are part of our DNA, in a sense. Yeah, I for, I for, I got back to
- 19:53the whole point of this. This is everyday ancestral living. And the answer is that, you know,
- 19:58and I think you can take that too far or you miss some of the science of what our ancestral,
- 20:04ancestral practices were, especially when it comes to detoxification. We can talk about some of
- 20:09the things that our ancestors did that helped detoxification that, and they really knew what they
- 20:15were doing. Right. Let's, let's talk about those. What, what are some things that you maybe just
- 20:21pick three? Like what are three ancestral practices that you believe support detoxification and
- 20:27that everyone should, should consider, you know, practicing? Number one, sweating. That the spiritual
- 20:35side of it, the health side of it, the, the, the native Americans, they sweat. Other ancient cultures,
- 20:42they sweat. They use stones. They used, you know, fires and steam and they sweating was a big part
- 20:51of not only their everyday ancestral practice or rituals. It's spiritual. The, the, in plus, the
- 20:58Hormesis on your body, which that stress can cause autophagy. It can cause stem cell production.
- 21:07You know, it can wipe out viruses, the heat, you know, things like that. And then also sweating is
- 21:11one of the main ways we detox because even back then when you're eating from the earth and the
- 21:15planet, although it's more contaminated now, you're still getting exposed to heavy metals. But when
- 21:19you sweat, you release them. There's been studies that prove that and it's hilarious where modern
- 21:26science and it is shifting. They, they, they still claim in some docs will even say, no, sweating
- 21:31is just for cooling. You know, it's just, just for cooling. It's, it's, that's still a belief
- 21:37structure. If you talk to certain medical professionals, that would be their belief. That's what
- 21:41they're taught. It's not taught that it, that your, your lymph could be moving through there. I
- 21:46mean, but think about it. It's a detox pathway. You drink too much. You, your breath, you breathe out
- 21:52the volatile organic compounds, the alcohol, you get it out through your sweat because your
- 21:56liver's overloaded. It's a way, if you're overwhelmed with toxins to get it out, right? So if you
- 22:02force and induced sweat, you, your cells will start to release these toxins because they want to
- 22:08get rid of them. They know your body is smart. It's designed to get rid of this stuff. So sweat would
- 22:12be number one, number two, charcoal. They used to take the, from the fire, the, the black and
- 22:19here's some for on YouTube or on Instagram, take this, this charcoal and they would take it
- 22:25for detoxification, especially when someone got poisoned. Maybe they ate some bad meat. You know,
- 22:30maybe they ate some bad fruit. Maybe they took too much of this mushroom and they were often
- 22:36lullah land and not coming back. And so they would take a carbon and the thing with activated carbon,
- 22:42how it works, best. It doesn't bind heavy metals in the gut. It's a horrible binder of heavy metals.
- 22:49And I just saw a post from an health influencer yesterday and I actually wrote them personally. I'm
- 22:54like, dude, you just said carbon binds heavy metals. It does not. It's a weak binder. It's probably
- 22:59contaminated with heavy metals and will give you some. But you don't use carbon filtration in your
- 23:03water filter to get rid of heavy metals. It takes out chlorine. It takes out organic toxins,
- 23:08right? A little bit of chlorine. It's not amazing at it. But this is the funny thing. There's
- 23:12science that shows what charcoal, which is the old fire, Egyptians used it. It was the,
- 23:18the ancient mineral for Cleopatra, like this, apocrates, you know, talked about it. You know,
- 23:24so this is like an ancient ancestral tool. But if, you know, you try to get this into an ancestral
- 23:33you know, event and they might be like, oh, that's not with nature. I'm like, no, they consume the
- 23:38junk out of this stuff. But here's the plastic resin. This isn't nature that binds bile. That
- 23:44this is why it works for detox. And I can't wait to get this message out there. This, if you take
- 23:49it a half hour before you eat, specifically is one of the tricks I'll give you. This will sit in
- 23:55your upper small intestine. And when you eat fats, it'll dump bile. And that bile is loaded with
- 24:01toxins as part of the phase 2 detoxification natural process in your body. And we're so toxic today,
- 24:07that bile complex that is being released from your liver is so full of toxins, specifically fat
- 24:14soluble toxins that they're getting. And if that isn't bound up, it travels down through your
- 24:19small intestine to the portal vein and goes right back into your liver. And it's called hepatic
- 24:25bilulary recirculation or entero hepatic recirculation is the scientific medical term for it. And we
- 24:34just recirculate toxins. So if you get poisoned and the toxins get processed through your liver and
- 24:40they get reabsorbed and you keep poisoning yourself over and over again, trashing your liver,
- 24:45it has to deal with them again. Sometimes they get back into your bloodstream. You break this in
- 24:50there. Catchers meant for the toxins, removes them. This is the message. James, I don't even think
- 24:55you know this in detail. No, no, I've always been told you take it at night when before you go to
- 25:00bed, but you're recommending take it. No, no, you do. You take it before bed because at night,
- 25:05you do release bile. Okay. Because your liver liver is on a circadian rhythm. So it is dumping
- 25:10bile at night. But you're recirculating take it before food as well. Yes. If you're like in a
- 25:16mode mode of situation, if you're in a detox protocol, and again, you would you would cycle off of
- 25:21this because cholesterol is a backbone of your hormones, testosterone, cholesterol, you know,
- 25:26is the backbone estrogen, progesterone, you know, so you don't want to cholesterol is your friend,
- 25:32right? An ancestral living, we know that, right? That's why eggs are so important with things like
- 25:38colon, you know, another important building block of hormones and hormone regulation and hormone
- 25:46reception, right? So these fats are so critical. So this will, if you take it all the time,
- 25:51it's going to lower your cholesterol. There's studies that show it because it binds the bile.
- 25:55That's why, but this plastic resin, microplastics does the same thing and this has unnatural
- 26:00flavors in it. But this is what Dr. Schumacher still recommends. For biotoxic illness,
- 26:07I personally discovered carbon in 2007 does the same thing when I was studying to find a natural
- 26:15option to pull a styrene. So pretty powerful. So that would be number number two. It is interesting
- 26:20though, because carcinogen, you know, like barbecue burnt meat, right? We talk about that being
- 26:25carcinogenic. And that's technically carbon too, but it's different, right?
- 26:30Yeah, it's not it's not that type of carbon, right? That's carbon from activated then.
- 26:37Well, they activate it through a, through a heating process, right? And steam and they just,
- 26:43so they're, they're charging the surfaces through ions, right? So it's super activated,
- 26:51charcoal is activated through a steaming process. I believe, right? I actually need to refresh
- 26:58mine. You caught me on something that I can't remember exactly how they activate, create super
- 27:03activated carbon. Like this stuff, if I throw it up in the air, the electrostatic nature of it
- 27:09will bind it to this blind over here or my wall. And it'll, I'd have to literally, it'll bind
- 27:16to the, the surface. I'll have to like scrub it off with a scraper, right? It's electrostatically
- 27:23charged. And I think they do that through steam going back in my memory banks.
- 27:26The point is is that the carbon from your burnt meat on your barbecue is different than this.
- 27:31So if someone's looking to incorporate this, they should be looking for activated charcoal
- 27:36sold in a health food store or online, but, but looking for, for a good provider of that and
- 27:42uses, it comes in like, I capsule or you're putting in water, right? Yeah, I mean, you can,
- 27:49you can take carbon, like when we first discovered this, I bought the same carbon from the study and we
- 27:53ran a complement immune system tests on people who had mold illness and we wanted to see if it
- 27:59worked as good as coal as stire mean. And so we just bought the same super activated charcoal out
- 28:03of another country. I got a bag of it. It was all over the place. It would stick to me, the walls.
- 28:08I used to put a hazmat suit on because it would, it would get into my clothes and you couldn't get it
- 28:12out because it would bind to the fibers and you don't want to breathe this stuff. It'll cause
- 28:16cancer. So you don't want to breathe it. It is very irritating to your lungs, which can cause
- 28:22inflammation. So you don't want to breathe carbon dust. Anyway, so we would give it to him and we
- 28:27would mix it and then they would drink it and they have black teeth and and because we didn't,
- 28:32we couldn't encapsulate it back in. No one was doing it, right? Not this super activated stuff.
- 28:38And we saw that the same drop in C4A as we saw with the complement immune system markers
- 28:44showing that when you remove a portion of these toxins through the biocomplex, pulling these
- 28:50microtoxins out, stopping them from reoccurulating and causing inflammation, you would lower the
- 28:56complement immune system that was being fired up because of the biotoxins in the body. And that's
- 29:00a test called complement immune system test called C4A or C3A. Both can be activated. Once we figure
- 29:08that out, we then packaged it in powders and then we got it in pills and then over the years,
- 29:15I've developed six or seven products, even for physicians. And today the one that that I make
- 29:21is true carbon cleanse and it has two types of carbon and it one's from organic bamboo and then
- 29:27I like the super activated stuff that comes from actually from trees. Okay, okay, that's good
- 29:34to know. We'll put that in the base carbon as well. Okay, so sweating charcoal and you said there
- 29:40was a third. Zeolites for heavy metals, hands down an ancient mineral people. It's the most
- 29:48contaminated natural and my based on what I know, there might be something more but it's the most
- 29:54contaminated heavy metal binder out there. So if you're buying it from Amazon, if you're buying it
- 30:01from a health influencer and it doesn't have if it's not clean and let me tell you why it's so
- 30:07contaminated with heavy metals because it's an amazing binder of heavy metals. So it's when it's in
- 30:12the environment, it's just trapping if water rolls through it and there's heavy metals in it,
- 30:17it's going to bind it up. It has this honeycomb structure. It has up to three negative charges
- 30:23inside of this cage and versus a surface bond on say a hydroxyl group on a philvic acid. It has a
- 30:31single little negative charge that's that's weaker and can also be affected by microbiology. It can
- 30:39be affected by pH. It can be affected by temperature. It can be affected by I said pH, which is acidity.
- 30:45So it can be reversed, the charge, the binding of heavy metals on things like clays and
- 30:53philvic acids. This is another big lie in the industry that these are great heavy metal binders.
- 30:57They are mobilizers. They can be used in conjunction with the true binder like DMSA, DMPS,
- 31:04but even better a zealite because this is what the ancients use for heavy metal detoxification.
- 31:10They knew that these things detoxified the body. They would eat zealites for this reason.
- 31:16Where do they come from? What's the sourcing of that?
- 31:19Zealites, you know, the main mechanism and I'm a geologist and I'll do my best to simplify this.
- 31:26I have a master green geology and this is a geologic crystal. This is a geologic mineral,
- 31:31a zealite crystal. And what happens is after a big ash out from a volcano,
- 31:38these, this ash will sit in either freshwater or saltwater and that water will get buried and
- 31:46then there's geothermal action, heat and temperature and you get some pressure because it's being buried.
- 31:52And this literally over millions of years will start to change the structure of the volcanic
- 32:02silica-based ash. It's a lot of silicon there and this is what zealites are in aluminum,
- 32:07silica mineral and it turns it into this crystal and structure called zealite. And there's
- 32:15many, many different forms of zealite but the best for binding is Plinoptilolite zealite based
- 32:20on the honeycomb structure and the charges that are inside of these cages that act like magnets
- 32:26for heavy metals.
- 32:27How do you take it? Do you take it in conjunction before going to bed with the
- 32:34carbon or the activated charcoal?
- 32:37Well, it depends on the zealite that you're taking. I put zealite inside of my true carbon
- 32:43cleanse and I have a patent on it. I could actually show you the patent. I think I have it right here.
- 32:48I do. And I'll even read the patent. So I have a patent on my zealite and part of my patented
- 32:55process and this is why it's a little more complicated for my product.
- 33:00In the, for the product cytodetox which is a liposomal zealite, it has fats. So you can't take
- 33:06that on top of the carbon. But just the zealite powder itself, we clean the powder and then we
- 33:13fragmented it into sizes that will stay in the gut. Some that can small enough to get into blood
- 33:18and some that are even small enough to get into cross cellular membranes. I put that powder in
- 33:24here and you can take it with the carbon. But you can't take fats on top of the carbon because the
- 33:28carbon will bind all the fats and just push right out and the carbon won't do its job and then
- 33:35zealites won't do their job. So just take a step back. So I can give you my protocol on my
- 33:42two products. Yeah. I'm curious how you do it. Yeah. Yeah. So I, if I'm on a detox protocol
- 33:49for, you know, say three months and I just ran a small little clinical study with a medical
- 33:55doctor and we were able to reduce symptoms, 53% on a similar protocol. I don't want to like over
- 34:01claim it. But it was only on six clients. We had some amazing results that through, you know,
- 34:08symptom questionnaires were going to do a little white paper on it. But just doing these,
- 34:13these are ancient detox tools. That's really what they are used by the ancients
- 34:18to support detoxification in their bodies. And so the, and there's lots of different ways to do it,
- 34:24but this is, this is my program. I would take it if I'm doing a detox and I really want to get
- 34:31rid of this stuff. I'm going to take this probably twice a day before bed, like you said, just the
- 34:36carbon. And then I want to take it 30 minutes before one of my meals because I'm going to get a
- 34:42bile dump. And I really want to make sure I capture some of those toxins. And a lot of the times
- 34:48or support the body's natural ability to capture those toxins, let's be a little more,
- 34:52less, more accurate for the, for those watching. So namely the government. So
- 35:01that's going to really, because you have that toxic bile dump. And if this is, this is one way
- 35:07you can support detoxification after you eat, because let's think about it. After you eat,
- 35:11do you ever feel fatigued and sick and you get a headache and it's like every time I eat,
- 35:15I feel like crap. I just don't want to eat. Well, that means you're really toxic and your bile
- 35:19complex is literally probably loaded with toxins. So you take carbon 30 minutes before a meal,
- 35:26a fatty meal, dump it and then before bed and take no medications, talk to your medical doctor
- 35:33about this. If you're taking a product like this, like true carbon cleanse or any other binder
- 35:38type product, I recommend two hours away from medications that talk to your medical professional,
- 35:43right? Because these things can bind a lot of the, I mean, they're petroleum-based medications,
- 35:49right? What is this bind? Yeah, petroleum toxins, right? So that's very, very, you got to take
- 35:55it two hours away. So I would say two hours away, talk to your medical doctor. And then with the
- 36:00zeolites, I take it three times a day, morning when I first wake up before I eat, you can take it
- 36:08with food in the afternoon. It's fine. And then I like to take it an hour after I take this before
- 36:18I go to sleep just to get a little extra bile dump with this product because we have the phospholipids
- 36:24in here as well. So it's going to push a little, little fats out. So again, we can drop that little
- 36:29protocol in the show notes. Yeah, we'll do that. We'll do that. No, this is great. I want to,
- 36:34I want to segue into some immediate things people can do when they're looking at their homes. I know
- 36:40you're, you're a real expert on like just, just practical things that people are using in their home
- 36:47that should people might, might be better to be rethinking, you know, and maybe, maybe certain
- 36:52tools that they should buy instead, particularly if they're in the, they're, they're needing to
- 36:58re furnish or, or reef stock their home. So what, what are like, let's just focus on like some
- 37:04practical things people can immediately do upon listening to this podcast. So first of all,
- 37:11I feel like it's important because to your point, you said when you first down, went down
- 37:15this rabbit hole, you used a lot of money, you know, of trial and error, right? So I kind of see
- 37:21there being two, two practical lines like if someone has unlimited funds versus someone has
- 37:26limited funds. So for the person that has unlimited funds, what would be like the first swap that,
- 37:33that you should, you would consider that they should do. Got it. And I can do this easily and quickly.
- 37:40But I want to make a point because you brought it back up is that what do you, you can't leave
- 37:46the sources of toxins in your life. Like, so don't do my detox protocol and it's going to fix you.
- 37:51Like I, I, I'm passionate about it because the recent study that I did and seeing all the junk,
- 37:58I'm just, I'm just coming out and being like, I need to brag about it. I, I always call you Dr. James,
- 38:03but Chef James, you know, that's my insecurity, if you will, like just being honest, like,
- 38:08I don't want to be like everybody else. But there's something it really works. It's really helping
- 38:12people. But if you have a source of toxins in your body, you can't, you can't out sito detox,
- 38:20true carbon cleanse, a toxin that's sitting inside of you, right? You have to remove the source of
- 38:26toxicity that's inside of you. This does remove the source. This is like removal process, support
- 38:31digging it out of you. Yes. But if you constantly have fresh gasoline poisoning you every day, right?
- 38:39From your everyday environment, gasoline, VOCs from your bedroom each and every day,
- 38:44you're putting the toxins right back inside of you, right? So this is the answer. So unlimited,
- 38:49right? So where do you start first, your bedroom? You spend a third of your life in there, right?
- 38:55Or more, especially if you watch TV, but that's a toxin. Get rid of it. Blue light, anxiety,
- 39:01you know, all of it, right? Great New Year's idea. Cut, start reading books. So you're in your
- 39:07bedroom. The first place you need to start is I would say with what you're sleeping on. So your
- 39:13bed and your sheets, if your bed is made of toxic foam, now if it's a 10 year old foam mattress,
- 39:19you're getting microplastic exposures because it's made with petroleum based toxins and microplastics,
- 39:25these synthetic foam. So you're breathing in all the toxins. Microplastics are horrible because
- 39:30they not only themselves cause inflammation isn't a foreign body, but they carry the toxins,
- 39:34the hormone disrupting cop compounds like phallate, some plasticizers. When you breathe them,
- 39:39eat them, consume them, they get into your cells, your body breaks them down, you're releasing
- 39:44toxins. So again, the mattress is constantly off-gassing. They constantly off-gassing.
- 39:51So all and they spray them because of a dumb law with flame retardants, these brominated flame
- 39:58retardants that are highly carcinogenic. So you want to get a natural mattress today and my green
- 40:03mattress, actually, I just I remembered it, they offer a really inexpensive organic mattress
- 40:09that is really clean. They have a little polyethylene sheet around some of the springs, but it's
- 40:14you know, the amount of microplastic exposure on that is slim to none. So same price is a regular
- 40:20mattress, you can get that, right? So that's great. Sheets, the best if price isn't an option,
- 40:29isomay-techstyles.com sheets are amazing because they here's the problem with sheets,
- 40:36you can get your organic sheets at target. Great. They can be got certified. Great.
- 40:43But even that fabric could be up to 20% plastic like chemicals because those are still
- 40:51chemical dyes that the organic sheets are being dyed with because it's very inexpensive.
- 40:55So they can say 100% cotton, but then still have plastic in it.
- 41:01Still have plastic up to 20% of finishing agents, silicone stuff to make it feel good,
- 41:08even forever chemicals to make it smooth, right? All these different compounds finishing agents,
- 41:14like I said, so they can be up to 20% of the weight of that sheet. It's still synthetic. Now,
- 41:19got certified is better because they're going to be not known to cause irritation to the skin
- 41:27because a lot of these dyes that are in sheets literally affect the bacteria in the cell and
- 41:35cause inflammation and kill them. And therefore, the bacteria that's necessary to produce healthy
- 41:43fats to help your skin be protected or being killed off because of the dyes in your clothing
- 41:51and in your sheets. It's nuts. In the sheets, you can't avoid it. You're in them for all that
- 41:57amount of time. You're not taking your shirt off during the day, like I do, if at all possible.
- 42:04So that's the best sheets. If not, get got certified, certified organic sheets. So those will be
- 42:09the two big things that I would change inside of my bedroom. And then add an air filter because
- 42:16biotoxins, microplastics, all of those and all that fly on dust, right? So if you can knock down
- 42:23the dust load in your home, that's going to be really beneficial. Put snake plants in your room
- 42:29for multiple reasons, at least one snake plant per person in the room. You need enough of them
- 42:35to one, they do a couple different things. They release oxygen at night. And that's another thing
- 42:40people don't realize is we have stuffed up homes and we have all of these every single time we
- 42:46talk and we're putting out carbon dioxide, right? So we want plants that can help offset that and
- 42:52we need more oxygen. Best thing to do, I wish I could think of the the German term
- 42:59chute lift and chute luftin or something like that, which is essentially rapid air movement into
- 43:05your home, letting air in. So opening your windows for 15 minutes, getting cross ventilation,
- 43:10and then closing them up because you don't want to get too much humidity, you don't want to cause
- 43:14temperature switches in the home where you could have condensation like on a on a glass. So you do
- 43:19this rapid air exchange for 10 to 15 minutes and get an ad oxygen in, get rid of the vault organic
- 43:27compounds that are building up inside of your home. And that's really important as well,
- 43:32and then an air filter. So chute luftin or whatever it's called, it's rapid air movement into
- 43:38your home. A snake plant is that, is that the name of the plant or is that the type of plant?
- 43:43Yeah, it's called mother and lost tongue snake plant and I can't think of the the scientific
- 43:50name at the moment, but yeah, one per person in the room is per person. One plant for every
- 44:0110 square feet is another role to go by. So if you have a 10 by 10 room, you need at least one,
- 44:08if you have two people in there and need two, if you have a 34 square foot room and two people
- 44:13in there, you're going to need three. So those are kind of the rules of thumb and those are great
- 44:18and those are, they, they suck in from out of hide, benzene, colluline, a lot of these toxins
- 44:25that are being off gas. Really great. There's another company out there. You can buy this bacteria
- 44:30that you can put in the soil and it'll suck up. It'll make that one plant like 30 plants in your room.
- 44:36I can't think of the name of the company. I wish I did. We'll put it in the show notes. You have
- 44:40to change out the bacteria every, every month and add more bugs, but it literally lives off the
- 44:47toxins. That's what they were trained to eat and they live off of toxins. So we should do this
- 44:53in environmental cleanup. So how I'm so curious because you know, when you got sick, you weren't a
- 44:58father. You are a father now. You have three beautiful kids. You're married. You have a family.
- 45:05So how do you lead you and you're the non-toxic dad? This is what you do and breathe, right? So
- 45:11how do you lead your family's health without being rigid or fearful?
- 45:18Well, I don't all the time. Let's just be honest. You know, I wish I was better at it, but I
- 45:23I was hurt so badly. Like, do you get around somebody who got bit by a dog and they're just
- 45:28scared of dogs the rest of their life? Absolutely. So I still have some of that trauma and I have
- 45:32to give myself grace and forgiveness for being too rigid with my family, but also being strong and
- 45:41not letting the emotion of a child dictate what's right and what's true for my family. So there
- 45:48is this balance of being loving and kind and full of grace, but yet not letting the emotion of a
- 45:56child like a kid crying all the time, here's the cookie anyway, right? So there is this balance.
- 46:04So how I do it is I, okay, you know, let's make a compromise. Let me pick the nail polish.
- 46:14It has to stay. It has to be cool, but let me pick it. Let me do the research for you. Daddy,
- 46:19can I, but can I use this one until then once a month, but let me find something that's safe?
- 46:25And there is safe nail polishes. I don't have it memorized because I don't
- 46:30use them every day, but there is pretty much 100% non toxic
- 46:36paints out there. Piggy paints, pretty safe, but it falls off your nails, but there are some
- 46:40pretty safe non toxic options. So we do that, right? And then I let them make mistakes as well. So
- 46:47you have to let your kids make mistakes. If you don't let them fall, they never grow. So I let
- 46:52them make mistakes. So the day come to me and be like, oh, I'm eating too many carbs. I can feel it.
- 46:57My immune systems getting down. I'm getting, I'm getting back pain. I'm getting headaches,
- 47:01right? So I let them, I strategically let them poison themselves so they can learn.
- 47:06And then I make a deal is like, look, let me, if I can get a really good solution for you that
- 47:11you like, then can we make the swap and I'll pay for it, right? So to get rid of the Lululemon
- 47:18Pants, the Athleta Pants, which drives me absolutely not. I finally found a company and actually
- 47:25helped save this company because they had funding issues. I didn't fund them, but I promoted them
- 47:29for free. And it's called Namariay. And they make 8% I think down to 8% elastin, elastin,
- 47:42tight Lululemon Pants Athletic Wear that are pretty much non toxic, right? And so I bought
- 47:49her a bunch of that stuff. It's been on back order for six months because this poor company,
- 47:52you know, did it on a shoestring budget, self-funded, but these disruptive companies, these are the
- 47:58ones that I love as non toxic dad, so that they're actually creating the answers for my family.
- 48:03And I help promote them for free at times because it makes a big difference, right? With blue
- 48:08light screens. And there's that one that that company I forget what it's called that has the
- 48:14safe. True light. I think it's called gay light. They like, they like. Yeah, they like computers.
- 48:20Like, so these are the companies. I'm going to do a real for them in a box opening. I'm not
- 48:25going to get paid for that. But I want these disruptive companies to bring solutions for my children,
- 48:30right? I don't give my kids, you know, there's so many reasons not to give your kids these.
- 48:36Yeah, the iPads and phones. Well, that's how I kind of navigated. Do you have any specific
- 48:41questions? Well, I was going to ask you, what do you wish more parents knew about raising kids in
- 48:48today's toxic environment? Like, what are some things parents should be thinking about in your
- 48:54opinion? Yeah, I mean, what do I wish? I wish it was easy for them. You know, that's what I wish
- 49:03for parents. I wish that there was a movement that we could create that would be cool so that our
- 49:13kids would embrace it because I mean, it's hard for my children and we homeschool and just a little
- 49:21bit of the world that they see, right? They want the bad things because they every we're humans. We
- 49:28want what we can't have. We all want that unless you get connected to nature and God and know that
- 49:35you have everything that you need, you know, that you are whole that you are loved, right? When you
- 49:40come from a place of strength when you're connected, but our children don't know that yet, right? And
- 49:45so, you know, I think the best medicine is love for your kids. So to force, force non toxic living
- 49:56on them in a harsh way would probably be more toxic to them than the non toxic lifestyle that you're
- 50:03forcing upon them, right? So you can't live in fear. You can't force this on them. So the best
- 50:09answer is for you to live it and for them to choose it for you to model it as parents is the way
- 50:15to go. And then when you're having the meals and you're doing the things and you're eating ancestral,
- 50:20they're going to eat it anyway. But let them choose it because you're modeling it because they will
- 50:25come back to it. And they're a little more resilient to some of the exposures. But by them, cool
- 50:30non toxic clothing that, you know, as a gift and maybe not even tell them that it's non toxic because
- 50:37I think getting kids out of plastic clothes is so important. Plastic underwear. I mean, what it does
- 50:42is disruption. Even the static, this unnatural magnetic type static electric field that's created
- 50:49from the rubbing on non natural, non natural fabrics on our skin. Literally, the research shows
- 50:57causes this weird electron transfer to happen in oxidative stress inside of her, inside of her bodies.
- 51:03You know, it's like I have a video on it where it's like popping the balloon, you know,
- 51:07of the electrostatic charge. It's like popping the balloons of ourselves, the oxidative stress
- 51:13that it causes. So just investing in your children, helping them make wise decisions, filtering your
- 51:18water at home, feeding them clean food, getting in a regenerative farm co-op, just creating these
- 51:24habits as best you can to integrate ancestral living into their life, going for walks with them
- 51:29outside, getting them with their shoes off outside, just having them model you because at the end
- 51:36of the day, they want love to buy you, they want to be seen by you. And if you can model that,
- 51:44if you can see them and love them, they'll come along next to you. They just want to be loved
- 51:50and seen by you and they want to be you in a lot of respects. So that's the best answer.
- 51:58Well, I love that answer, Warren, and I love this discussion. I really appreciate your time
- 52:03today. I think that I think one of the biggest takeaways is that it may not just be the food,
- 52:13it may not just be, oh, you got something from someone else that it that we need to actually be
- 52:20looking at, the environment we live in, that's possible that the toxins that have been stored in our
- 52:25bodies for all the years that we've been alive, that it's important that even if your doctor is
- 52:30saying, no, no, everything's fine, don't worry about it, but you instinctively feel something is
- 52:37off to listen to that, that I hope that when you hear this episode that you hear that Warren is
- 52:43saying, like, look, the world didn't have the answers for me. I had to go within, because I knew
- 52:49something was off and I needed to trust that. And when I started looking at all the things that
- 52:55were causing this constant stream of chemicals and toxins in my body, that's where I then started
- 53:03making change. And so I hope that this is just introduced to people that there are deeper things
- 53:10potentially going on, deeper solutions than just take this pill or go take that pharmaceutical.
- 53:19So I really appreciate that you're introducing this contrast people. And like you found, Warren,
- 53:25I'm so grateful that you saw getting sick as a gift and that you saw the gift in getting sick,
- 53:34because obviously you could have done 50 other things than gone down the path you did choose.
- 53:42You could have ended your life, you could have just sat and accepted whatever one was telling you,
- 53:47you could have played so much smaller and you didn't. So I'm really grateful that you chose
- 53:53the path you did, because you are helping millions of people. And I would offer anyone listening
- 53:58this, we got into some stuff, but we'll put as much as we can in the show notes, but just go to Warren's
- 54:04pages. And where should they go, Warren? Yeah, I'm at non-toxic dad everywhere at non-toxic dad,
- 54:11all one word, non-toxicdad.com. The non-toxic living podcast, which you can grab on YouTube,
- 54:19which is on non-toxic dad's channel, any of those paths. And your right, Chef James,
- 54:26is that remember this guys, it's hard to serve. It's hard to do all these videos. It takes
- 54:32time away from my family. Many times I begin to resent it. And then I realize I connect to my
- 54:38heart. And I remember in your, your natural this, Chef James, you're a natural heart-centered guy.
- 54:43Like people don't know what neuro-anguistic programming is, but you naturally do that. You naturally
- 54:48connect with people because your heart, you just geared this way. Everyone loves you because you
- 54:53naturally connect with people. You connect with their hearts. You ask questions. You care. You're
- 54:58kind. You fall up on your word. Like you have a lot of the, you have the, the tools of greatness,
- 55:05because leadership is really where we, what we need today. And I'm so glad that there are leaders
- 55:11like you out there leading from a heart-centered place. I learn from you. But here's what it comes
- 55:18down to. Serving is that one of the highest callings you can have and sacrifice and serving go
- 55:24hand in hand. So my, I, but you, you have to remember, you can't sacrifice everything for the
- 55:30mission that we're on here, Chef James, that we do have families that need us. But no guys,
- 55:35we do this and it's hard and it's, it's serving you. I'm, I don't have an agenda. Yeah, I have
- 55:40products and, you know, I don't have a big company and I don't even care if I do. All I care about
- 55:46if I can help make humanity a better place and we can reconnect the God and what Chef James said
- 55:52so beautifully is that the answer is within. We have more than five senses. There's more than
- 56:01five colors that we're told. There's more tones than there were told that are on music. There
- 56:07is a great expanse of ancient wisdom and knowledge inside of us that's been suppressed.
- 56:14I'm, I'm gonna, I'm gonna say it's because I'm not gonna say it's control or conspiracy,
- 56:20but it is what it is. Humans get into ego and we all do it. We do it in our micro environments
- 56:26and we do it in a macro environment. Maybe like the government and what we're seeing today in
- 56:30this world. But there's that awakening. There's more five senses. There's many different smells.
- 56:37Don't label things. Open up. Connect to the connect to the vibrations of the planet if you will.
- 56:43The vibrations of each other and into that inner wisdom that ancient ancestral wisdom that's inside
- 56:50of you that's resonating that's speaking loudly and when you connect to that a lot of the stuff
- 56:55that I talked about will be easier to understand and you'll know how to apply it to your personal
- 57:00journey and path because you're on one. A personal journey and path and I'm here to support
- 57:06that path and journey not to force you in any one direction because your mistakes are your
- 57:12greatest teacher and suffering leads to answers and we're all on a path and I love each and
- 57:18every one of you for it. Well said, thank you so much Warren and thank you all for joining us
