- 0:30come to pet it comes to Mark? Is it just I'm gonna do it
- 0:39begin, I'm gonna go on the way you pill Vegan. Welcome, Welcome,
- 0:45Welcome. I'm listening to the Sports Shock Show. I'm this what shock
- 0:50Wayne Gandy. Good morning to you out there listening land Glad to be here
- 0:55with you as we roll into Memorial Day weekend at it seems to have really
- 1:00jumped on us quickly. It feels like it should be next weekend, but
- 1:06it is this weekend. Congratulations to any of you graduates out there high school
- 1:11or college or technical school or wherever you might be graduating from one thing industry
- 1:19that is growing as trade schools are starting to grow, mainly because of the
- 1:26lazy generation. If you don't want to go get your groceries, you definitely
- 1:32don't know how to fix your toilet. It's just one of those functions.
- 1:37So you got to have someone to do those kinds of job. But NBA
- 1:42Finals in the West and the East Conference finals have started up last night.
- 1:49Great game by the MAVs, Kyrie Irving having a hot first quarter, Luka
- 1:57Dunk having a hot fourth order to get the MAVs on the board. First,
- 2:01we'll talk more NBA right now. I guess the biggest question command you,
- 2:09Greg Big Kenny, bad producer, bad producer? Is gambling right or
- 2:15wrong? It's right? Gambling is right, okay, and make sure I
- 2:27got that gambling is right bad all right. I just wanted to make sure
- 2:45I notated that down that he went on record to say that gambling is right.
- 2:52But the biggest conversation over the last couple of days has been over Apple
- 2:58Music. Apple Music came out and said that the greatest album of all time,
- 3:07greatest album of all time was created by El Boogie, Miss Lauren Hill,
- 3:22the mis education of Lauren Hill. We're talking about this today because we
- 3:28all love music here on the show. Also our last show, we were
- 3:31talking about Lauren Hill follow using that after twenty five twenty six years, she
- 3:37was coming with a follow up album to The Miseducation for the mis Education,
- 3:42which would be her what second actually studio album, I guess is how mis
- 3:50Education was got to be some sort of after school study program twenty five years.
- 3:55I don't know what kind of education you get, but that's like school
- 4:00the doctor, Jewish doctor something. When the list came out, I sat
- 4:06and I started pondering, and I love el boogie for you that don't know.
- 4:14I was even in a Fouji's video one time back in ninety five ninety
- 4:21six somewhere and there we shot that. Yeah, a lot of people always
- 4:27hit me and when they see the video on something. Back then, it
- 4:30was very popular to watch videos all the time. So I go back that
- 4:35far, already back to college because my agent and Lawrence Hill's agent knew each
- 4:43other. So really back to her days, almost when she was on Guiding
- 4:46Light. I think it's where she was soap opera for a minute, one
- 4:50of those soap operas as the World Turns or something she was on. But
- 4:56so I love el Boogie Lauryn Hill. The Miseducation is ranked number one.
- 5:01Now the sports shock started running through his rolodecks and you guys are welcome to
- 5:08write down, because if you say it out loud, then you would change
- 5:11people like the Bad Producers opinion because people like him exist. They don't actually
- 5:15have a full opinion of anything. They have a half opinion, and then
- 5:23sometimes they wait. It's like going to a restaurant with a select group of
- 5:27people and they're always waiting to see what you order or they order. So
- 5:32if you real quickly could put down in your opinion, what is the greatest
- 5:41album, number one album? If you had to select the number one album
- 5:46of all time in pen you need a pin. Oh, I have the
- 5:49one sing okay, just from any genre that you would throw up to say
- 5:56it's the greatest musical album in your opinion, okay, music album. Okay,
- 6:03y'all aren't writing do it now? Yes? I can't think about it.
- 6:10No this right now. Put your name on top, so I'll make
- 6:20sure. I know. I don't know your handwriting. You know, I
- 6:25don't know my own handwriting. Somebody can hand you something. You you know
- 6:28your handwriting? You know how on TV shows you're watching every to my oh,
- 6:31that's my mama handwriting. But I don't know my mama like that.
- 6:34We meant personal well, I know her handwriting. I swear most of my
- 6:39mama's writing looked like mine, because I forught your signature looks just like so
- 6:44I get confused. Oh so, right off the cuff here, the Bad
- 6:49Producer went with Michael Jackson Bad Album as the grades of all Time. Big
- 7:00Kenny went with Songs in the Key of Life by Stevie Wander, and Commanchi
- 7:09Greg went with Thriller. Now I gave Commanchi Greg Thriller earlier can play.
- 7:21I don't know. I don't know if my influence, of course it did
- 7:26made him put down Thriller. But I trust him if he says it's a
- 7:30coincidence. I trust him if you two has said it. I don't trust
- 7:35the babooth, the show, the show that he operates, the board John
- 7:41that's named after you. The guy hands you a piece of paper, what's
- 7:45your favorite album? And you read the beats of paper, go this one
- 7:48mean Forrilla. So today what we're going to do is throughout the show,
- 7:55we're going to for what I feel. And I just want to know you
- 7:59guys don't are great choices, and nobody can argue your ear. It's like
- 8:05art. Nobody can tell you what art to love more than what you see
- 8:13and love music is the same way. But today command you, Greg is
- 8:20going to battle thriller versus the miseducation and you know, round the end we'll
- 8:31see which one of them do we really really own as far as when the
- 8:37songs come on. So you're able to do that today, right right?
- 8:39Okay? And so we'll have a little thriller and that's the new thing here.
- 8:43We got Mike Tyson at fifty eight fighting Jake Paul or Ryan Paul.
- 8:48Which one of them is Jake Jake? Okay? You know, so we
- 8:50got old versus new thriller would have been what forty one years old or something
- 8:58like that, and mis education is like twenty five twenty six. But Stevie
- 9:01is a music Virginia. Man, y'all didn't play Stevie and Bad? I
- 9:07feel like bad is when Michael really Stevie a music Virginia. One of our
- 9:11loyal listeners online listeners, mister Jared Lloyd, says his number one album at
- 9:18texts the Nation of Millions by Pe and he also wanted us to know that
- 9:24is it Young Jared is graduating today? Is Jason Jared? Let me get
- 9:31that name correct, Jason, Jared, I believe it. Jason Jarrett Lloyd's
- 9:37graduating today, Okay, from college or high school? Did? He did
- 9:41not specify. I'm guessing it is. Well he's listening, sir, specify,
- 9:48please, college or or high school. Either one is a great accomplishment.
- 9:56But we want to be specific. We don't want to be shouting him.
- 10:01High school is more it's more expected, is it though? Yes?
- 10:07Is it though? And see, I would say that that is an atmospheric
- 10:13well, very and I would say that, very, you're very shocked when
- 10:18somebody says they haven't graduated from high school. A person tell you they didn't
- 10:22go to college or graduating, that's not I would say that's environmental because I'm
- 10:28from an environment where people not graduating high school was normal. They just walk
- 10:33away. McKenny. I'm from an environment where my whole bloodline didn't graduate from
- 10:39high school. From high school not, This ain't no distant This is a
- 10:41personal thing. I'm saying. But I can't count though, And he says
- 10:45it's college. I can't count that small group against the whole Most people you
- 10:50meet, they have graduated high school. Yes, yes, you're right,
- 10:56true, that is true. That's the general experience. Well, I mean
- 11:01even still here in the state of Georgia, the mentoring program work with when
- 11:05they county if you don't get them by middle school Georgia, but outside of
- 11:09up in Metro Atlanta, seventy six percent is to drop out right in the
- 11:13state of Georgia. But even in that they go get the GED some of
- 11:16them you can't get. You gotta do something to get your driver's license.
- 11:20They make it where you got to have some kind of certificate. Yes,
- 11:24so most of time when you meet somebody, they might not have gone to
- 11:26college. I don't think you should. But what about signing up would be
- 11:31very shocked if they put on the resume they didn't graduate high school? Do
- 11:35we still got to sign up when you know we don't even have to.
- 11:37You don't have to grade out anymore in high school. You just have to
- 11:41go man D D. Just trying to just go to C is a D
- 11:48nine high school. So but wait, you said a C is a D.
- 11:52Now, well, I mean if the grading I've seen, like if
- 11:56uh, the grading of fifty is A see yeah see us, So that
- 12:01means a D is a C. Well you wouldn't survived in high school.
- 12:07Now either would you you walk away? But he graduated in high school.
- 12:11Then that's what I'm saying. It's hard to find. You still keep going
- 12:15back, getting on the swing. We'll be back more a sports talk show
- 12:18right after this world. You can get the money. You could get the
- 12:22power in the bottle hour hour. You can get the money, get the

- 15:13sports job Wayne Gandy. The Jock of the Day is sponsored by Mattress HEROESUSA
- 15:20dot com the sleep you deserve at a price you can afford. No,
- 15:24no, no, no no. Now it's time to present the Jock of
- 15:28the Day on the Sports Jocksures taken it to a completely different level this year
- 15:33where we highlight an athlete that has taken their game to the next level.
- 16:22Wait a minute, this what shock show. I'm just what shock wing KNDI
- 16:26Last Saturday going to high school track meet out in Eugene, Oregon, Aiden
- 16:30Gallagher and we had these this story down noted for Monday. Shall we letting
- 16:36it breathe a little bit? See the reactions of the sports world. But
- 16:41the two hundred meters winner in the state championship, Aiden Gallagher, a transgender
- 16:48teenager, was booed at the Oregon Sports Stadium at the winning the race at
- 16:53the state's high school track and field championship. Guys, not surprising in these
- 17:03situations we've talked about transgender athletes. We've talked about especially on the flip side,
- 17:11where it is someone's transitioning from male to female and their impact. Last
- 17:22couple of years, especially on the track, we have had stories where I
- 17:29think track, you can say track and the pool have been like the two
- 17:34biggest stories so far. We haven't really had a lot of stories of this
- 17:38happening on the basketball court or volleyball court, things like that. So this
- 17:45track angle is something that we have addressed before. Well do you think the
- 17:52parents or people in the stands, what percentage you think we're aware that Aiden
- 18:02was a transgender teenager. Everybody in there before they got there, everybody yes,
- 18:10when he made it to the stage, I feel like everyone knew because
- 18:12it was whispered going on. You know that you know and for them to
- 18:17boo. They had to know that. Like, I just feel that they
- 18:21had to know. I agree if if it was that kind of reaction,
- 18:26everyone knew beforehand, but it was I guess they were in a place they
- 18:30couldn't really do anything to stop it. Yeah, I can imagine State finals.
- 18:36All of that information is freedom of information that covered. So you know,
- 18:41they released who's going to be in it. You can look up Aiden.
- 18:45That sounds kind of asking, Wait, it is a guy, you
- 18:48know what I mean. But he's transgender. And I'm sure that the children
- 18:55who've competed against Aiden during the season, who have watched their teammates compete,
- 19:00go home and tell their parents. And that leads me because that's the angle
- 19:03I was thinking. They would have known. A good percentage would have known,
- 19:07just because the participants most likely would have interacted at some point in a
- 19:17race against him somewhere. Track meets are more central events when about three or
- 19:25four teams. They're not They're not like just one school. Uh. They
- 19:29usually have a lot of invitationals and things like that that you can go to.
- 19:33Uh. So that brings me to my second point that why hadn't the
- 19:37parents stood up? If your reaction is to boo at the end, do
- 19:45you think there was you know, and we could have missed out on a
- 19:48lot of the information. So but before the match, before the race,
- 19:53before the season, if you saw this, and then you know that we
- 19:56had fifteen track meets before this, right, why not track meet five?
- 20:02We just take a stand. What what makes you think that they didn't No,
- 20:06no, no, no, I didn't. I didn't say that they
- 20:07did not and we heard about Oh I don't think that we've heard about it.
- 20:14Because backlash against transgender athletes is seen as violations of people's civil rights.
- 20:22So it's different from being unpopular. That's different from being misogynistic or hateful or
- 20:30bigoted or racist. That's illegal. But this is and we don't want to
- 20:36tread into here's the thing, like I'm with sports job, you know,
- 20:40everybody while waiting now, because my thing is, we say, hey,
- 20:45let's cheer them on for what they're doing, they're being who they are.
- 20:49But then when you boo them, that's just as bad. Like you championed
- 20:55them in one instance and then the next thing, you know, you're projecting
- 21:00onto people that at some point they champion this. A lot of people might
- 21:03feel like their hands are tired. I've been screaming at the top of my
- 21:06lungs. My child's running against a boy. That's a boy running against my
- 21:10little girl, and she's number three only because she could be number two.
- 21:14But this boy keeps coming in number one. But the school district, the
- 21:18athletic association allows them to run. What am I supposed to do? Push
- 21:22him off the train? You got people turning it off, when you got
- 21:25government officials from your highest point. That's the point I'm making that we're talking
- 21:30about the parents. Why didn't the parents do anything? And I'm saying the
- 21:33parents could have screamed at the top of their lungs, but their hands are
- 21:37tied. This is a state of sue. Why not remove your kids from
- 21:41the race? Some parents? But okay, so why should I remove my
- 21:45child who is a female biological female in this situation? I mean, I
- 21:52want my child to compete. So I think that's that's hard on that parent
- 21:56to say, Okay, I'm gonna pull them out because they are this is
- 22:00not fair. Well, they wanted change in Birmingham in Alabama in the sixties,
- 22:07so they didn't get on the bus. At some point, you have
- 22:11to do something your your stance can't be always concerned about what you continually getting
- 22:22without change and you still want to Oh, I still want to get in,
- 22:26but I don't want I want things to change, but I don't want
- 22:29to have to stop my life to make the change happen. Now, I'm
- 22:33good, y'all go ahead. That's what me and my kid we'll go to.
- 22:40We'll we'll go to another state. What's close to Oregon, California.
- 22:47You will go to California, Utah, Nevada, but Utah, I know
- 22:51my girl will run against girls. You see what I'm saying. So there
- 22:55are things that you can do, and unfortunately, some like you said,
- 23:00there are some people who want to take a stand who aren't in a position
- 23:04to make those kinds of moves. I can't pull my kid out of case.
- 23:08I do want this might be the only outlet my child has that gives
- 23:12them some form of normalcy. There are a lot of things to consider,
- 23:17but I do think that the states are the ones who dictate who participates in
- 23:22what. Well these topics are you know, only going to grow because,
- 23:26as I said, they are just a little smoke right now. Because of
- 23:33the area that they're being used in. But when they starting to get into
- 23:40the soccer bigger sports like soccer, I think tennis and started really where you
- 23:49it's right in your face for real. Right now track and field is still
- 23:53kind of ten people on the child run people. Yeah, yeah, we'll
- 23:56be back with more than Sports Jock Show right after this. Every NDN want
- 24:00to be the chief g a Mantilly full and he still want me to t
- 24:06for monthy's walking. You to increase a must crease colleague doesn't mean that a
- 24:11week. Can you hear me speak at the call? Take it to the
- 24:14streets? No enough castes don't turn the other cheek, but I try to
- 24:17keep the civil out like me in the leak and of it. Don't go
- 24:21away. More of the Sports joh Show with Wayne Dandydas dumbing up next.

- 27:07red zone, the record, every day, everything, every day, everything
- 27:37is mentally what make you wash up? Shower, I'm just wash up,
- 27:45Wayne Candy, Good morning, tell you Memorial Day Weekend twenty twenty four.
- 27:52Be safe out there, as I always say, somebody stay sober, especially
- 27:56if you are around the water or Picca day, if you're with a bunch
- 28:02of friends, everybody has a day. One of you have to stay sober.
- 28:07That's how you do it to save. If you haven't been doing it,
- 28:15you've been doing it wrong. You've been doing it. If you're doing
- 28:18it wrong, it's a good day. We can to do it right there.
- 28:21It is so yet four days, four of us and we out four
- 28:25days. Three of the days go all you want, but one day one
- 28:30of us has to be the responsible to watch the other three. How is
- 28:33that bad? That's seventy five percent of the trip. You can be drunk
- 28:37seventy five That sounds any more than that? And the saving to have a
- 28:45better chance of living all and being back safe is all I'm asking. Be
- 28:52safe around water and typically if it's just one person can be in charge that
- 28:59day, Hey, the day is my day, then we might be able
- 29:03to all make it back. The problem is when we all get drunk,
- 29:06right now, when the bad producers go missing. I thought you had him
- 29:11next day. And that's how it is. I know what he was missing,
- 29:15and I was just caught up in what I was doing. I figure
- 29:18we grown he he'll be back. Indiana fever last night, losing. Now
- 29:22they are zero and five. They lost to the Seattle Storm, the number
- 29:26one overall pick. Caitland Clark once again playing a good game as a rookie.
- 29:33What you see in Caitland Clark is what happens the rookies when they moved
- 29:40to the next level, and nobody moves to the next level as fast as
- 29:47the w NBA. You are literally from the NCAA tournament to an NBA court
- 29:56in six weeks. Wow, you go from in six weeks I'm to my
- 30:02training camp. On happen you actually playing a game? Six weeks ago,
- 30:06Kaitlin Clark was shooting balls, trying to win a national title. Now she
- 30:08is oh and five in the w nb A, drawing crowds. I checked
- 30:15on ticket prices here just so I can have knowledge when she comes to play.
- 30:19The Atlanta Dream floor seats are fifteen hundred and ninety nine dollars. They
- 30:27had to move the game, like saying that one more time, fifteen hundred
- 30:30and ninety nine dollars. Don't forget the ninety nine but not ninety nine cents.
- 30:36Fifteen hundred, Oh, I thought you all fifteen nine dollars fifteen to
- 30:40watch them the one dollar matter to watch the play the Atlanta drink, sixteen
- 30:45hundred, the same Atlanta drinking. We that just the same Atlanta dream.
- 30:48And I know Caitlyn coming, but just the same dream, right, sixteen
- 30:52a ticket, sixteen hundred ticket, Yeah, to sit on the floor.
- 30:56And I know all this for Caitland. I'm saying they've moved the game.
- 31:03They've moved the game from over by the airport where the Dream typically plays,
- 31:07to State Farm Arena. Both of the games that they play, the Fever
- 31:11will be there. It's called the Caitlin Clark effect. Caitlyn having the impact
- 31:18that she has seems to have really poked a bear that always seems to just
- 31:27hang around for some reason. And in this case mystifies me that not just
- 31:36outside Entity East, but also even counterparts other w NBA players seem to have
- 31:45Caitlyn's success seems to have rubbed them wrong. Last night that Kenny enlightened us
- 31:52that even Charles Barkley had to say something on inside the NBA about stop hating
- 31:57Caitlyn Clark and embrace the impact she's brought. I know she was on the
- 32:05View as far as a topic, not her in person, but they brought
- 32:09her up a sunny Houston. I don't watch the View, but I think
- 32:15that was her name saying and pointing out, which is always interesting, that
- 32:21Caitlin is benefiting from white privilege. And then she went on to say,
- 32:30well, there's all kinds of privilege, pretty privileged, tall privilege. I've
- 32:37always thought that because even when I hear guys they get up and get speeches
- 32:46that it's a privilege to be in the NFL. It was not a privilege
- 32:53to be in an NFL at all. I was honored, honored to be
- 32:59in it, right, But privilege for the sports shop lay's on the line
- 33:05of unearned. Hello, hello, sir, speak louder. There are some
- 33:09people that are sleep man, not listening. More coming, need you excuse
- 33:15me? Excuse me? Hello, I'm not going to knock on the window.
- 33:17No knock on their window. Let's take your time, take your time
- 33:22and tell them what privilege is, Pastor, tell them privilege. You hold
- 33:29on and we're gonna let them get this message now that we don't do that
- 33:31at my church, Deacon. We don't pass the plate. We solve it
- 33:35here. We we got trust and all of that set up. God is
- 33:38good. Hush, now take your time, Pastor, don't pass the plate,
- 33:43and we don't think the gambling is good. Have mercy up at my
- 33:46church. But I will tell you that I've always heard guys, you will
- 33:51too if you go back and hear speeches, and they and the coaches and
- 33:53the gms and everybody will get up and stead up and try to tell you
- 33:57how it's a privilege. You know how many times I heard that speech.
- 34:01Hey, guys, it's I used to be sitting there like no. A
- 34:06privilege would have just been You called me and told me to come on in
- 34:09and gave me a job, right right, right, It's free, right,
- 34:15It's privilege, privy, privy, honor. It's an honor for me
- 34:21to be in the NFL and represent it. But it was not a privilege
- 34:23because I earned it. So when they say white privilege to Kaitlyn, what
- 34:28part of Caitlyn Clark rise to stardom, hasn't she earned? Command you,
- 34:37Gray, I think she's earned every burn of me, honestly. I mean
- 34:42she became the all time leading sport. Anything that she hasn't I don't think
- 34:47there's anything that she hasn't earned. And even with her, uh even the
- 34:54fever that the stever weren't they weren't a good team and they had the number
- 34:59one pick. That's how you get the number one pick. So they're still
- 35:02not that good of a team. And maybe that should be when they got
- 35:08sorry. They're still sorry now. Really they're really not that good. They
- 35:13got a long way to go. Kenny, what part of Caitlyn Clark's journey
- 35:19hasn't she earned? I haven't seen the part. And and they try and
- 35:23make the white privileged part about the exposure. She's sixteen. The dream that's
- 35:29the privilege. That ticket privilege ain't got nothing to do with up being white.
- 35:34You run up the cost of a ticket. And that's why we like
- 35:37you. You could be Fusia, the Dream Team, the Dream game we
- 35:42went back to today. They they was like offering tickets, please giving them
- 35:45away. You could be Perry Winkle Blue and if you can, that's all,
- 35:52you know, that's all you don't want to in a good round number.
- 35:58Let me tell you an extra one in case somebody decided they want to
- 36:00come sixteen hundred each, you could be outlive green And if you can sixteen
- 36:07hundred dollars for seats for a w NBA game, I'm a mark. I'm
- 36:10gonna market you you too, Yes, yes, I'm gonna market you too.
- 36:15I can't market you no more. I'm gonna I thought we were in
- 36:19the business of profit. Profit. Y'all keep talking like people you care about
- 36:23something other than money in historic in the historic realm, the WNBA has not
- 36:30profited ever ever from what they say, and all of the So did y'all
- 36:37hear what did you hear? The Jeff t what the suggests? Did y'all
- 36:39talk about that on Monday? Where he talked, huh what he suggested?
- 36:44It was as a clip he was saying that that maybe you guys need to
- 36:49back off the WNBA. Let let her shine. She's helped trying to help
- 36:52you out and changed everything and got the flights. And then a lot of
- 36:55people saying he's saying what telling the girls don't compete? Let her look like,
- 37:01you know, let her look good so you don't lose the sponsorship.
- 37:05In other words, he was saying that if she continued to lose and everybody
- 37:09keep dogging out, pretty soon people are gonna turn off. But if you
- 37:13start letting them win a little bit, letting her continue to shine, then
- 37:16they won't turn off and you get more sponsors. What do you think,
- 37:21I mean, what do you think about him saying that in a fact like
- 37:24you as a competitor at the highest first fact? Was that a quote?
- 37:30Because now? And I only say that because Charles Barkley, when he was
- 37:36defending Caitlyn Clark said, and I quote you women out there, y'all petty
- 37:42man Lebron, you are one hundred percent right on these girls hating on Caitland
- 37:46Clark. Y'all petty girls, y'all should be thanking that girl for getting y'all
- 37:52and I quote ask private charters and all the money and visibility she's bringing into
- 37:58the nw NBA. Don't be petty like dudes. End quote. That's what
- 38:02I'm saying. To say that, Jeff Tigue said something in the line of
- 38:07is you paraphrasing Jeff t I'm saying no, I'm paraphrasing him. I'm telling
- 38:12you he said that. He said on the show. He said, basically,
- 38:15the w NBA has done it wrong. They shouldn't have scheduled Caitlyn with
- 38:19the tough games against the two best teams in the first You didn't do her
- 38:22any justice by putting her. I don't need to see and we'll go to
- 38:25break. We'll talk about on the other side. I don't need to see
- 38:29Caitlyn Clark win at all. In the arrival of her game is not supposed
- 38:38to be today. She five games in and you know what I love about
- 38:43it? And the fever I watched, not the fever of the team,
- 38:45but the fever of the comforts. The other girls heard the bell ring,
- 38:51Yeah, and they came out and they come in and all that's what Caitlyn
- 38:55wants, right, Yeah, I mean she looks like I'm here for some
- 39:00of that. I'm gonna be the next I gotta figure this out. In
- 39:02college, the girl would go for the head fake and I could get the
- 39:05shot off. This girl will not move. This woman is all up on
- 39:09me. She's I gotta learn how to be more physical, how to hit
- 39:13people back. Nothing about this young lady says that, oh man, y'all
- 39:17need to take it easy on that because she's not mean, so we'll be
- 39:23back. I don't need her to win no games. She's scoring twenty points
- 39:28a game as a rookie. She turned the ball over, but that's just
- 39:30called that little lazy pass against Ohio State. Can get there, but not
- 39:35against these superstar athlete women. They gone, we'll be back right after this.

- 42:32sports job, Wayne Gandy. It's lock on so you can see a sports
- 42:59joint. Welcome back to this What Shock Chum and this what Shock Wayne can
- 43:07did. Good morning to you. We were talking a little bit about Caitlyn
- 43:10Clark and the view and just right now the last couple of weeks with the
- 43:16rise and the fame, we spoke about it in so many directions and it's
- 43:22just continues to keep coming up. I don't see why so many people are
- 43:31harping on this young lady's ability to drive fan base, ability to sell out
- 43:39arenas. Uh. The other night, I was listening to the game and
- 43:46they were mentioning that in Indiana, in the first two games they have had
- 43:53more crowd than last year's first like nine games. That's her impact. Stars
- 44:02come along that drive here and there, men and women, white and black.
- 44:13So it becomes this thing where in the last couple of That's why I
- 44:15said, a couple of shows ago, a lot of this is just as
- 44:20finally someone with a style that goes with the generation. Alil Boston was the
- 44:27first pick of the draft last but she was a sinner. The young lady
- 44:30Asia Wilson, it's a center. It's usually some kind of game. This
- 44:35lady brings you the Steph Curry game. People love that. They love that
- 44:42don't know when you're gonna shoot, They just pull up from the low goo.
- 44:45That kind of what was the little league they used to have with all
- 44:52the dribbling and the and one kind of leagues. They love that because that's
- 44:57what entertains them. Looks like you're said, a circus act, and that's
- 45:01what this young lady brings and she has pushed up revenue for everyone in the
- 45:07league, but she still seems to fall under that people are basing it on
- 45:14that she is white. Well that would help in a country that's seventy percent
- 45:22white. That that's not a bad thing, right. It's like we talk
- 45:27about with the Joker and anyone else winning the MVB. It would help if
- 45:31he was a American. Yeah, just being an American would have got him
- 45:37too, more commercials, would is that right? Yeah? Think about that.
- 45:42I mean, let's go into the business office. See, everybody don't
- 45:45lie. For some reason. People take business personal. It's just business they
- 45:51take. They take his business. Nikola winning three MVPs in four years as
- 45:58an American born player who's also in a horse racing, who's would have been
- 46:05I would have found a way for him to be the Kentucky Derby, you
- 46:08know before the playoff game. They Yeah, they've been hanging out with Bruce
- 46:13Springsteen and all those people. It's just how it is. So Caitlyn Clark
- 46:19getting big deals sets the plate so that the companies can't say, stop thinking
- 46:24about yourself and what didn't happen in your career. A lot of guys said,
- 46:30I sit around many Well, bro, we did the same thing.
- 46:35Hall of famers from the seventies were making seventy thousand dollars a year. They
- 46:40were teaching school on the off season. We show up thirty years later making
- 46:46more money in a game than they was making in a season. You flip
- 46:53thirty years ahead. Now these guys are making more in a year and we
- 46:59made in a career. Here. That is what it was supposed to be,
- 47:04sitting around being mad for what you ain't do nothing wrong. You're talking.
- 47:10That's every industry, her career, That's what it is. That's every
- 47:15single industry. Man. You comedians flying in and they paying. Y'all.
- 47:19We used to drive four hundred miles for a thirty minute spot, and I
- 47:24always go and thank you for that effort, thank you for opening those doors.
- 47:30But somebody got to open the door. Somebody the next Lady Juju Watson
- 47:35from USC I'm telling you, she has that style of game. Her game
- 47:39is like it, man, it's very marketable. She has that little in
- 47:46about her. She's smooth, she fasty mind. You're like a Kobe,
- 47:52isn't the shoes? I can't Every time I see it, I keep thinking,
- 47:55you definitely can put her in some female jokes. I might come out
- 48:00and lit now, look Juju, but now she because of Caitlyn Clark,
- 48:07the young lady, the Buker, now because of Caitlyn Clark. When they
- 48:12go to Nike, Nike can't say we never gave women don't leave rip because
- 48:20that's the first thing in the contract negotiation. They like to use what they
- 48:23haven't done. If you ain't ever anyone, that's what they love to do.
- 48:30And all you want is first to be able to walk in there with
- 48:31last year and hand them a piece of pavor what hasn't sold. This is
- 48:36what the tenth pick got last year. So all that little what y'all they
- 48:39used to do, this says, y'all did it already, right, And
- 48:44that's what she opens up. So she opens up a new revenue screen for
- 48:49the Juju, Watson's, for the page, Buker, Becker's and people like
- 48:52that. That now they can't tell me that Wilson doesn't sign basketball people with
- 49:00the basketball. So I don't understand Baptists why they ain't riding the waves,
- 49:07especially on a young lady who she doesn't even have a call. She ain't
- 49:13tying herself up at the pipeline. She ain't told you can't eat meat.
- 49:17I can't with a fur bit, Kenny. She actually she got a two
- 49:22handicapped. Jane said nothing about don't you get some of this because I said
- 49:29something? I mean she gonna get invited. But see that's what she came
- 49:32into it Trump rally. No. No, she's been posing with her boyfriend
- 49:38like she like him. You know what I'm saying. No beef, Yeah,
- 49:42ain't no domestic violence, She ain't no toxic mountains like they went on
- 49:46a mutual date. She saw him, he saw her, and they thought,
- 49:52hey, we should go down to Chili's and what we should do or
- 49:55cheesecake with him? If I didn't have a cheesecake factory, and well,
- 49:59yeah it might have one. That's the classing the clock effect coming. They
- 50:06got the name a piece of cheesecake. Yeah, it's smooth. They named
- 50:10a piece of cheesecake after the chili. But to stop trying to hate man.

- 51:30it's beautiful out there, sonny, and seventy five almost a little chilly in
- 51:36the shade. Now, let's get a read on the inside of your car.
- 51:39It is hot, You've only been parked a short time and it's already
- 51:44ninety nine degrees in there. Let's not leave children in the backseat while running
- 51:47errands. It only takes a few minutes for their body temperatures to rise,
- 51:52and that could be fatal. Cars get hot fast and can be deadly.
- 51:55Never leave a chann in a car. A message from NITSA and the AD
- 51:59Council. Hurt game. We tough it out, feel exhausted, We push
- 52:04on feeling down. We pull ourselves up by the bootstraps. But there are
- 52:08times when bootstraps aren't enough, when stress gets to us and we need to
- 52:14talk to someone about what we're really going through. So we're going to reach
- 52:17out because sometimes mental health is not a one person job. Is it?
- 52:22Love your Mind Today dot org? That's love your Mind Today dot org,
- 52:25brought to you by the Huntsman Mental Health Institute and the Head Counselor. And
- 52:31now back to the sports job, Wayne Gandy Center cord on sports news gossip
- 52:42blah blah blah blah blah. You want to be stun what ma this?
- 53:19What shocks shue? This? What shocks winging getting for you? McDonald's lovers?
- 53:23Uh soon the self drinks they say they're gonna take it away. It
- 53:29won't be all you can drink, so for you to like to go inside
- 53:31of the Mickey D's. They are about to nix the ref refiel. Hey,
- 53:38y'all want an insurance for the employees. And twelves thought I was gonna
- 53:43cut I thought I was gonna cut into my botty they got for them,
- 53:49but they're gonna take unlimited drinks for you. But they're gonna stop, but
- 53:53they're gonna take out all those fancy like you can add. All of that
- 54:00is going so which so what goes away with that fancy machine where you can
- 54:05get all the flavors, that's maintenance costs, leaves, technician cost leave.
- 54:10All of that is gone and we can put that into the labor And I
- 54:15can't believe. So you know what you're Finnah start getting now at a lot
- 54:21of these fast food places, cups three quarters filled with ice then the soda
- 54:29because that's the standard. What about the standard? I'm saying you problem was
- 54:35people going in and ask for I just want to get a cup of water
- 54:37and then they're getting if you yeah, that's but they started because they you
- 54:50are to go to the movies and fill your cup up with drink, even
- 54:53though it's supposed to just be water. But they started mitigating that with the
- 54:58smaller your first example, that's that's something you did. I'm playing the desk.
- 55:08I mean, it's okay man, everybody you know. And they cut
- 55:12into that with giving you the small clear cup for the water. Remember then
- 55:15that's it, right. So now if you have a small clear cup and
- 55:20it's got so they already know. Well, I'm saying, see there you
- 55:22go, he got you. See how you keep telling them this all the
- 55:27little ankles? Somebody else that did. NBA champion, which it scares me
- 55:32that maybe he was sending the kids up there to do it and just sit
- 55:37and watch. Watch. Yeah. NBA Champion Glenn David sentence the forty months
- 55:42in prison for his part in playing to the fraud league's healthcare. He is
- 55:47one of several guys that we have talked about over last handful of years,
- 55:52NFL and NBA that got on this scheme of defrauding there durrance and basically ordering
- 56:04or said you ordered something that you did not and taking the cash value of
- 56:10that. It was a wide spread scheme to defraud the NBA's health plan by
- 56:17submitting nearly four million dollars eighteen former players were part of this ring in the
- 56:27NBA. I think NFL could have been up to about twenty five. Some
- 56:32guys served some time. I remember Clinton port has got some time, didn't
- 56:36he. He was considered like the main person in that in that whole NFL
- 56:43situation, Big Day. But you said Glenn Davis had some point he made.
- 56:46Now, Glenn Davis basically was saying that to me. It's funny after
- 56:52you get your you know, defraud at the NBA and you tried to running
- 56:55this insurance gamp and you say that the NBA is a cash cow that uses
- 57:01the players, And don't teach you how to live after you clock out from
- 57:07the NBA. Do other jobs teach you how to live the rest of your
- 57:10life, not after you not like they No, No, that's just the
- 57:15long and short answer. It's not like you work for thirty years as a
- 57:20broadcast producer and then when you leave, the broadcast industry follows you and helps
- 57:24you manage all of the profits and money that you made. That is generally
- 57:29on the individual right. And I don't know what. No, if I
- 57:32go to be a school teacher, did they teach me how No? No,
- 57:36And I don't know what Big Baby talking about. All Uston been the
- 57:38federal present, Am I right? Am? I right? We done all
- 57:42did about fourteen months at minimum fourteen in the fed ME. But Davies,
- 57:49whose nickname was Big Baby, ordered to pay eighty thousand dollars in restitution.
- 57:55I have no clue where he's laying this at the stealing money from the NBA,
- 58:00at the feet of the NBA. So I don't know that that's weird
- 58:05that the only reason that I'm failing and stole from you is because you moved
- 58:13New York job. You may be still from in looking out for me after
- 58:17I stopped working for you. This is not like while I was still in
- 58:21there for Remember I gave you the eighty million. I'm saying, but you
- 58:24after that thought, But you didn't Where was you the taxes? Where was
- 58:28you? You didn't tell me about the business advice. You didn't say,
- 58:30man, don't go. You didn't tell me don't buy that Lamborghini. And
- 58:35you you didn't say, like, it's been three days you've been at the
- 58:38Bunny Ranch, you need to leave. You didn't say that. Wasn't you
- 58:43supposed to say something? No, I was just offering you a job to
- 58:46play basketball. You said you wanted to play. Oh see that's negligent.
- 58:51Well that was privilege. That was privilege, though, Was it not privileged
- 58:54that you offered me that job? Care about me as a person, not
- 58:58justice. The health benefit so you when you got out you could if something
- 59:02happened, you could get but you were no. Remember I set up the
- 59:07health benefit program so after you left, if you needed a root canal or
- 59:12something broke, we would cover it for you. And then in the FBI
- 59:15called and said that you had ordered a machine but didn't get the machine,
- 59:21but got the seventy five hundred dollars for it. Oh five times, see
- 59:27what you had? You been there and told me that not doing that would
- 59:36be good for me. No, we talked about that in the NBA Rookie
- 59:38supposium on how not the rookie supposed him. Do you know how long that
- 59:43was ago? Do you know how many years ago that was? As I
- 59:46said, same thing I said with the NFL. God, you stole money
- 59:52from yourself. The money that the NBA and the NFL puts aside. It's
- 59:57just basically as year old that pay for your insurance, to make sure whatever
- 1:00:05insurance needs we know we at least gave you some money. You decided,
- 1:00:09like a person with food stamps, instead of going to get some food,
- 1:00:15you will sell it for half the value for some cash. So you said
- 1:00:21you got one hundred dollars book of food stamps. You sold it for forty
- 1:00:23five dollars cash. Now you're talking about you ain't got no food. That's
- 1:00:30that's that's that's the thing, that's that's been and we didn't. Also the
- 1:00:34book of foods stamps have the value on that every ghetto, everything and suburbs.
- 1:00:47Me even call my days in the news and rustlamic, you know,

- 1:03:15there on Memorial Day weekend, always one of those weekends we hope to break
- 1:03:20the record of fewest injuries, fewest death. It takes us really our first
- 1:03:27weekend, first time back in the water for most of the country. This
- 1:03:32is what it signifies. It's finally warm enough in a lot of places that
- 1:03:37a lot of people will be back in the water, out on the lake,
- 1:03:42out on the ocean beach and things like that. Be safe out there.
- 1:03:45Take cav one another. We talked about Caitlin Clark in that first hour.
- 1:03:51Also eighton Gallagher, the young high school two hundred meter runner, the
- 1:03:55transgender athlete coming under booze for that event. A big baby we discussed as
- 1:04:04well. One funny story, kind of funny, not really, but you
- 1:04:10gotta laugh through life. New Hampshire daycare center. I had the owner and
- 1:04:16three employees arrested. They found that they were sprinkling melowtonin on the kids food
- 1:04:30at the daycare. I guess the melotone help them all right, he was
- 1:04:39springing melotonin on the food. Sprinkle me man, I guess to get the
- 1:04:44kids to sleep right, and that what it would have happened nap time or
- 1:04:47to calm down. And is sprinkling crushing up melotonin and it's free, sprinkling
- 1:04:53it on the food at the daycare. So much. But if somebody need
- 1:04:57to beat the just get out of the daycare business. They need it.
- 1:05:00But it's almost like like a racket. Sometimes it's like a racket. Oh
- 1:05:09yeah, day care businesses. The owner Sally Dreckman fifty two, and our
- 1:05:15employees fifty one year old, Tracy Ainy, Kathleen Filardo who's twenty three,
- 1:05:21Jessica Foster twenty three. So the fifty one and the fifty two year old,
- 1:05:26it was their plan, yeah, twenty three year old, they were
- 1:05:30they were just soldiers, no limit soldiers, following orders. Yes, but
- 1:05:34they were lacing the children's food melantonin without the consent and knowledge of their parents.
- 1:05:41They got children's strength, Melton. I'm not saying it was right.
- 1:05:44I'm saying they got the children's strength. Oh yeah, but you can't just
- 1:05:50add the daycare. So if they got permissioned though, so in other words,
- 1:05:54they would have got permission on sign on. Yeah, but you can't
- 1:05:56decide that your daycare. Like if you're watching other people kids, you just
- 1:06:00you're gonna get him. They say how it was found out, Well,
- 1:06:01listen, listen. First of all, I want to say that not everybody
- 1:06:05knew that. Not everybody do that. I'm just saying I'm gonna throw that
- 1:06:10out there. They didn't know about the baby strength. Now I'm saying not
- 1:06:13everybody knew that. You just can't give other people kids. Melton. I'm
- 1:06:16saying, I want, I want to be knows now sports job. I
- 1:06:21believe it's mister Charles Johnson. I listened. He just said future crackyads.
- 1:06:26I can't stop. I can't put in the meloton and is a hormone that
- 1:06:31your brain processes or excuse me, produces in response to darkness that helps with
- 1:06:39sleep some you know, take Melantona that night they tell you that couple like
- 1:06:45two hours before you think you might want to go to sleep. My aunt
- 1:06:46team used to use Booth gin Too and rock bo but that was their kids.
- 1:06:57They kids. This is we say, you know, it's okay for
- 1:07:00my mom to come in and tell the daycare lady to give me a spoonful
- 1:07:06of dish day quill or something night quill or something like that, you know,
- 1:07:12to calm me down. But it's not okay for you to take it
- 1:07:15upon yourself dump them up to be doping up the class. I wonder what
- 1:07:18food they was putting it in the apple sauce or allegedly. I don't know.
- 1:07:25I ain't never done. No, I'm just saying you say. I'm
- 1:07:30just saying today because it's blend in, yeah, go down real dead,
- 1:07:39and it's got a swim pasture. It got that same texture you got to
- 1:07:42sweep back to it, the melowtnin. No, the apple sauce, so
- 1:07:46the jel apple get it got a nice little sweet apter taste to it.
- 1:07:53So they take it from what I've been told. I got to stand the
- 1:07:57first thing. I've been told a lot of this stuff. And then I
- 1:08:00didn't know that you could just get people children melatonia when you're watching them.
- 1:08:05No, you can't know. Now I know now you can get there.
- 1:08:11Do they even do like the red mats and stuff like that their cares?
- 1:08:15They yeah, they still do their multicolored mats. Now they you know they
- 1:08:18don't just do un blue. No, they used to be red and blue.
- 1:08:21Now they red, yellow and blue. They don't hijacks they yeah,
- 1:08:28they they wanted to be more festive. Now okay, colorful room, colorful
- 1:08:33rooms, yeah, yeah blue. Lamar Jackson of the Ravens Baltimore Ravens,
- 1:08:41has dropped ten pounds, says he wants to be more agile. Did you
- 1:08:45feel that way when you saw him last year? He's down to two o
- 1:08:48five. This kind of concerns me. Do you think that he's already he
- 1:08:53I mean, he clearly was was bigger, but he looked bigger last year.
- 1:08:57Well, he says he was. He was around two fifteen to twin
- 1:09:00last year. Now he's not two o five. But I don't really know
- 1:09:04if I want too old five? Do you think that's gamesmanship? I want
- 1:09:08to be more agile. Now I've run circles around you at two fifteen,
- 1:09:13and now I'm telling you I'm about to be lighter, faster, and more
- 1:09:15elusive. Who's losing sleep? Yeah? But I'm more susceptible to injuries.
- 1:09:21That ten pounds is a good little something that somebody can hit, and I
- 1:09:25can take a hit. We gonna see at this stage, I think he's
- 1:09:30betting on himself that he won't take that many hits because you won't be able
- 1:09:34to put your hands on it, won't be able to touch me because we's
- 1:09:38Lamar six' four, yeah, six three six. So it's not like
- 1:09:44he's a short like a Russell Wilson type quarterback. He's long and I didn't
- 1:09:49see anything wrong with him last year. And it's with the new hip drop
- 1:09:55tackle rule that it's going to be harder. It'll be harder to like even
- 1:09:59tackle him legally anyway. The hills faster, the him drawway tackle rule,
- 1:10:06I see reducing very little next year. I don't know. It's going to
- 1:10:13take a minute. It's a more natural response tackle then. I think people
- 1:10:21are giving credit for when you're grabbed, when you're doing certain things and you're
- 1:10:28trying to get somebody down, your brain is working on how to stop that
- 1:10:34person. And a lot of times we keep thinking. I've seen where guys
- 1:10:41it looked like mentally they was trying, they could have done something different.
- 1:10:45But some of it is out of desperation that I got over here. I
- 1:10:49grabbed Derek Hearing around the wrists and quickly. I found out that our weight
- 1:10:55room numbers are different. Right right, I'm holding him and I left my
- 1:11:00feet. I wasn't expecting to leave my feet. I wasn't. I thought
- 1:11:04I was gonna grab by the wrists and the momentum was gonna ship me.
- 1:11:09And I left my feet. And now I'm kind of like a little kite
- 1:11:13on there getting the wrists, and so I gotta drag my feet in the
- 1:11:15ground and fall to do something. I gotta get over there. Some of
- 1:11:20it is a different kind of and we keep thinking, and that's all I
- 1:11:25ever try to take it. Coming into the helmet, it's it's a lot
- 1:11:30of removal of laws, and some of it just becomes whatever it takes.
- 1:11:41So some of that is I got to stop him. So I grab him
- 1:11:44by the waist and I try to pull him down. Now that made me
- 1:11:46end up on his ankles. I wasn't trying, but that was the only
- 1:11:49recourse I had to stop him. If not because I'm not gonna get you
- 1:11:54out of film session for you, because what believe in me almost is to
- 1:11:59let him go. Yeah, you're saying, either get him right to bring
- 1:12:03him down, or I have to let him go. Right and get him
- 1:12:09right or let him go. And I don't know if you've never been drug
- 1:12:13off your feet after grabbing somebody by the wrist, but it'll do something to
- 1:12:17your thinking process. It will. It'll make you take some desperate measure.
- 1:12:21So I thought, I thought Lamar looked good like you're physically. I would
- 1:12:29rather him be a little like to ten pounds than to be too light at
- 1:12:32that kind of taking those kind of hits. We'll see how it works.
- 1:12:40I think that a lot of people project onto him that he's so athletic that
- 1:12:43that won't matter. But we do know that football is a very physical sport,
- 1:12:47and we'll see more of the weight loss if he and it could be
- 1:12:53him saying I'm be in the pocket more making quicker reads or something. But
- 1:12:59if it's going to be the same Lamar that excites us, I would like
- 1:13:03him to keep the ten pounds. If he's gonna work the pocket and stay.
- 1:13:06If he plans on throwing, then I can. I can. I
- 1:13:10can go with the weight loss. But Comanche is funny. He said,
- 1:13:15you're not gonna see as much if we drop off as quick the horse collar.
- 1:13:20Even when that happens, you can see the guys thinking because they're just
- 1:13:24reaching in desperation, and then they catched themselves like, oh you can't.
- 1:13:29But it's not like that's how, That's not how I meant to grab you.
- 1:13:33Right, But when I ran over here, my four five ran out
- 1:13:40and you're four to three kicked in. Well, that's why. And all
- 1:13:43I knew I had, Kenny was my hand to reach that reach that armed.
- 1:13:49One scenario was like the face mask rule. You could tell the difference
- 1:13:53if a guy's doing it like you said, intentionally or if he just I
- 1:13:57just happened to reach out there and just reach it and just it is a
- 1:14:00difference. That's why sometimes it's a five, sometimes it's a fifteen. We'll
- 1:14:03be back with more of the Sports Job Show right after this. John't Bowl,
- 1:14:23Wayne Born of the Sports Josh Show with Wayne Dantidius coming up next.

- 1:16:57going into Memorial Day Weekme and Melissa McBride from What show Family Matter Fact,
- 1:17:05No, No, Tony with my man Tony danns up. There's a lot
- 1:17:13of dead people in the show Walking Dead. There you go. I was
- 1:17:18thinking old, Yeah, I didn't. I'm going to look her up.
- 1:17:24Which one. Yeah, I was thinking of a comedy show fifty nine years
- 1:17:28old. Oh she's I can't think of her character's name, but yeah,
- 1:17:32I know. Drew Carrey is sixty six years old. Jewel is fifty six
- 1:17:39years excuse me, Jewel is fifty years old. Aaron Donald who the rams
- 1:17:44say they were keeping his locker, you know, ready just in case.
- 1:17:48It's just you know, kind of retirement out of the paperwork. Well,
- 1:17:53I kind of retired. I just I'm retired for the summer because I didn't
- 1:17:57want to come to all I remember, I told you that's a big ploy.
- 1:17:59A lot of guys are using I don't want to come to know any
- 1:18:01OTA's. I don't want to come, and then late July I'll show up
- 1:18:06and be like, man, know what, you know what. But by
- 1:18:13retiring, it gives me a complete five months where I don't have to I
- 1:18:17don't have to come to any of what you're talking about. There's no pressures,
- 1:18:20there's no scandal in the newspaper anything. And a lot of guys have
- 1:18:25used that as employ Aaron Donald thirty three years old, G Eazy thirty five,
- 1:18:31Priscilla Presley is seventy nine, Patty Label the Big eight zero, Joe
- 1:18:38Dumar sixty one, Tracy McGrady forty one, Sean Marion forty d excuse me,
- 1:18:47Drake Greenlaw is twenty seven. Of the forty nine is Brian Urlacor forty
- 1:18:53six, Octavia Spencer fifty four, and Mike Myers to comed and it's sixty
- 1:19:00one years of age. Apple TV is taking a page from what we discussed.
- 1:19:06Guys. They are going to be paying their actors and actresses based on
- 1:19:12performance of the show that they put out. Correct. Yes, George Lucas
- 1:19:17made a lot of money based on that. If somebody didn't know how they
- 1:19:19made it, Mail Gibson, it's been a couple of people take that risk
- 1:19:25almost where it was like, yeah, Jack Nicholson did because it was all
- 1:19:29my money or I won't get paid, but you pay me a percentage of
- 1:19:34Jack Nicholson did that with Batman. He took a small percentage and was like,
- 1:19:38I want this much of the merchandising of the Batman memorabilia, and he
- 1:19:45made tons of money. Yeah, and that's why I said George Lucas,
- 1:19:48I think famously he either rolle or to produced or directed the movie Star Wars
- 1:19:56for free right and said he would only take andage of the box off merch
- 1:20:01off merchandise, merchandise right. So he took that gamble and well you know
- 1:20:08how that paid off, still paying right everybody. Right now, I'm imagining
- 1:20:16that in this Apple TV model, it's probably more like YouTube or Tube,
- 1:20:26where it's by the view it's not, so that's a huge gamble, especially
- 1:20:32in that a lot of uh, these productions are Apple TV originals, and
- 1:20:39then they use big budget actors and effects. So I've got to have this
- 1:20:47you know, nine billion dollar budget and then hopefully they'll watch it enough that
- 1:20:54I'll make some of my money back. Usually it's I spend nine billion on
- 1:20:58it, you buy it from for ten billion, and then we release it
- 1:21:04and together we split the other one hundred and sixty three billion, which is
- 1:21:11for me a better deal. But this way it's all gamble, and I
- 1:21:16think it eliminates access to it too, because now I've got to have upfront
- 1:21:21money to get in the game and ownership. Does things typically inspire better production?
- 1:21:28Yes, yes, if you know it's for performance base you typically is.
- 1:21:31Like I said about boxing, yes, I've always felt like we our
- 1:21:36generation is not getting the best really, not just boxing sports in general.
- 1:21:45When the kind of idea that the champ got all the glory, right now,
- 1:21:53the person ten steps below the champ can make more money than the champ,
- 1:21:57right So to me, you get a week of product, Yes,
- 1:22:02but if I give one fighter ten million, the other and ten million and
- 1:22:05I put thirty million over the ring. What kind of fight do I get
- 1:22:10now that dude knocked out? I'm saying, if I'm in the ring,
- 1:22:14you got this dude knocked out because the thirty million going the ten million?
- 1:22:17Sweet, but I'm gonna have to put hands on this dude and and triple
- 1:22:24my money. Oh yeah, you finna get these. Yeah, your training
- 1:22:27would be different. If Kawhi Leonard had to get paid game by game,
- 1:22:33you might see more of him. But when you have this casual Because to
- 1:22:39me, the new rules the NBA put in this year did inspire a little
- 1:22:43more participation the whole you if you can't be up for postseason awards, if
- 1:22:48you don't pay play a certain what was it sixty five games? At some
- 1:22:53point it seemed like we saw our stars more this year, or whatever they
- 1:22:57were out for was more legit. Yeah, you felt like, oh,
- 1:23:00this is hurt man. He must be hurt for real at someone, he
- 1:23:03must be hurt for real for real as no rest. At some point it
- 1:23:08was it was like your game check is what you got. When you reference
- 1:23:12back to some of these players back in the days to be teachers, and
- 1:23:15you know they was there to get that check and they was there to play.
- 1:23:17But it seems as though, like now that because of you think,
- 1:23:21because of negotiating with unions and the collective bargaining, that's why these guys are
- 1:23:26able to like sit out and still collect and feel like they can take the
- 1:23:30night off. Has that help? Well? The money is guaranteed for most
- 1:23:33of those sports now, and guarantee if anything breeds a certain kind of lackadaisicalness.
- 1:23:43It's like tipping the the server for my to go order before the order
- 1:23:47actually come. Man, don't get me. The order gets to me,
- 1:23:50and it's it's not right if it gets to me at all in a timely

- 1:29:26fun today. Remember we started off talking about the greatest album of all time.
- 1:29:30I voted for Thriller, The Commanding Greg voted for Thriller, Big Kenny
- 1:29:34went for Stevie Wonder He's Life, and the Bad Ducer went with Bad,
- 1:29:42which would have been Michael Jackson's third album after Off the Wall, and Thriller
- 1:29:48was Bad correct, So he was in the Michael Jackson family. So but
- 1:29:55as I said at the beginning, no one can tell you this is just
- 1:29:59something from Apple. I know albums like one of the late sixties Beatles album
- 1:30:05I want a big Beatles fans. I think it was the Sergeant Pepper's Okay,
- 1:30:11Lonely Heart Club, something like the Purple Rain album was on there as
- 1:30:16well. If you had a second choice, real quick, what what else
- 1:30:19would you add for your Okay, what else would you put on there?
- 1:30:27My second chary to Prince Purple Rain, it would be Yeah, I'm saying
- 1:30:31outside of what I'm saying. No, but I'm just if you I would,
- 1:30:34I would put Doctor Dre to Chronic Chronic. Okay, come man.
- 1:30:40Inter Visions by Stevie Wonder, Okay, y'all Stevie fans now Steve, and
- 1:30:46you go with It'll be a Prince. It would have to be probably nineteen
- 1:30:50ninety nine album because it was a double had a lot of but about sixteen
- 1:30:55great songs, and I would go with the chronic strictly for the line you
- 1:31:00was a penguin looking. I mean that that right there set the tone for
- 1:31:06me this album gonna be all right, and from there it just right.
- 1:31:12I think I would have to be paid in full on there. That would
- 1:31:15be one I have to be honest of us album that I burnt out,
- 1:31:26just got your I know, I know, yeah, yeah, a new
- 1:31:33tape like I didn't destroyed this tape and I'm gonna get a new one because
- 1:31:38I'm still listening to it, really And then at some point it gets to
- 1:31:41the man put anything but that you know by Walters is our agency, Yeah
- 1:31:46girl. East Tennessee State Men's golf team had the privilege of having the wrong
- 1:31:54seats on their delta flight, and as many of us have had to suffer
- 1:32:00through at different points in our lives, if you've ever traveled on an airplane
- 1:32:06witnessing someone just throwing your bags on a cart, the Tennessee Men's golf team
- 1:32:15was looking out the window and they saw the baggage handlers throwing their golf clubs,
- 1:32:24tossing them over. But would that do because y'all have those protective cases,
- 1:32:29right, they do have the protector there. Yeah, they should be
- 1:32:32okay in there. Okay, but have you ever I mean, I'm one
- 1:32:36percent sure you've seen somebody just take your bag. Because I buy all my
- 1:32:43bags from like TJ Max. I refuse to give them any thing over one
- 1:32:48hundred bucks. I just yeah, I just until this. You know,
- 1:32:54it'll get you about a year's full of trips. Yeah, but before I
- 1:32:58give you some designer but dollar bag that'll make you on a fight. And
- 1:33:03see, I've always your Louis though. Yeah, the forty seven, one
- 1:33:09hundred dollars, because I be heated about the little TJ Max bag. It
- 1:33:12wasn't but sixty nine ninety five bat dudes have come up there eating the baby
- 1:33:16roof and just thro one handed, one hand in it up in the thing
- 1:33:23and listen was the thing. I get upset when I see it because,
- 1:33:28in my opinion, bag of handlers know that they have you hostage. Now
- 1:33:31you own the plane. You can't get off, You can't say nothing.
- 1:33:34You banging on the window, and they can hear you knocking, but they're
- 1:33:40not gonna look up there because they be laughing at you. Now we're laughing,
- 1:33:44I know you. And then when I hear the banging, get real
- 1:33:47loud. Off this his bag and I'm gonna do the little the shot putting
- 1:33:53spin and throw East Tennessee State guys are lucky that they were throwing them on
- 1:33:59the plank. They know that those were golf clubs. They could have came
- 1:34:02up missing, might not have got on the right plane. So I mean
- 1:34:05sometime with these baggage, you know why not Why would they miss on the
- 1:34:10wrong plane. Well, I mean the baggage. There's been known like incidents
- 1:34:15where you lose baggage, stuff get lost in the shuffle the flights. People
- 1:34:19have lost items, baggage claims, have put your stuff on the wrong plane.
- 1:34:24You can't find your luggage and it goes somewhere else. But I'm just
- 1:34:27saying that, knowing that those are golf clubs, knowing that they didn't take
- 1:34:31them or just set them to the side, you stay in the criminal mind.
- 1:34:35You gotta stop watching all that power stuff. We were just talking about
- 1:34:40simply how people just throw. You take all stories to some kind of criminal.
- 1:34:45No, I'm just saying that. But I'm just saying, man,
- 1:34:48golf clubes are expensive. I could see why they were upset that they might
- 1:34:51be damaged. I rather for them to be throwing and seeing my clubs getting
- 1:34:55thrown than to have been worried about I think that my whole point was people
- 1:35:00or upset period when they see their bags tossed. You hear about it,
- 1:35:05but everybody, I'm cheap. I'm just That's why I carry one back to
- 1:35:10my bag that I got. You know, we just talked about your tipping
- 1:35:13and you just got then we just talked about talked about We didn't talk about
- 1:35:17his tipping. We talked about it, lack of tipping. And I'm shipping
- 1:35:20my clubs or I'm gonna get a rental. Said, I'm not. You
- 1:35:24know, but as a tennis team, you can't do that. I mean,
- 1:35:27as an off team, you can't do that. True, all right,
- 1:35:32So they was upset. I'm quite sure they're gonna file some motion with
- 1:35:38Delta, but I don't know what you would say. That's how they do
- 1:35:40bags, that's how you have to you have to prove it. We didn't
- 1:35:44do that to the other customers. That's what they're gonna show you. And
- 1:35:47then here's footage of us just throwing everybody. Now they're gonna tell you about
- 1:35:51the time departure rate that anything they got nothing, Look, sir, we
- 1:35:57ain't got to get out of here. Nine No, wait, was anything
- 1:36:00nine old fault was and we got all these bags? Was anything noted?
- 1:36:03Was any damages to the clubs or anything not that they have reported in the
- 1:36:08story, sir, Yeah, not that they ever. Maybe this is the
- 1:36:11first time they've seen that. Ain't going Ain't nobody in the bags on the
- 1:36:15plane. Ain't nobody thinking about that? Somebody ripped the door off a plane?
- 1:36:20Shut up, Shut up and get them little where you from Middle Tennessee
- 1:36:25state, y'all ain't playing? Nobody know you and fly this playing lamellow Ball
- 1:36:34allegedly is being sued and accused of running over eleven year old's foot. Now
- 1:36:43this happened back in October? Am I just late to this story or has
- 1:36:48this been going on? Hearing? The story was they were having an event,
- 1:36:55the Charlotte Hornets were having an event, and as drove off the young
- 1:37:00man. I guess approached the car and LaMelo did not sign, which I
- 1:37:05would tell that mother that that is typical. Like if they're signing interviews in
- 1:37:15the basketball arena upon departure, those athletes and they just want to leave.
- 1:37:24Now, a lot of them they're not necessarily with you know, some of
- 1:37:28them are being rude, but some of them are really like, I've been
- 1:37:31here for two hours, I've done my d I'm going to get in my
- 1:37:34car. Say if I stopped for one, I got, I gotta stop
- 1:37:38for everybody. And if you've never been in that situation, that is a
- 1:37:42situation you do try to avoid. And a lot of times you might concede
- 1:37:46and try to pick one person for a particular reason because maybe they're screaming louder
- 1:37:54or they're very small. But no matter what you tell yourself, if you
- 1:37:59go over there and sign something and it's someone else there, you got because
- 1:38:04if they're screaming louder and you sign, there's the other people go that's why
- 1:38:10they're signing it and start screaming louder as well. So and you've seen that,
- 1:38:15you've seen that effect, like what he might hit one person and you
- 1:38:17say, they say, oh, I'm a sign for one preser and then
- 1:38:18everybody starts running down and like you said, you got to But I'm just
- 1:38:23thinking it was something some of that is, as soon as I hit that
- 1:38:27door of leaving that basketball arena, I'm ana bee line to my car,
- 1:38:30I ain't gonna stop. Like I don't hear nothing, uh, you know,
- 1:38:34And it does come off rude, but in that person's mind, it's
- 1:38:40the best way to play this situation. Well, I was gonna say if
- 1:38:45it was in Charlotte and being have been there for way games covering the immediate
- 1:38:49that thing where the players and where the buses come out. It's right there
- 1:38:53on Trade Street, and fans stand there. They actually can see the players
- 1:38:57come out in their cars and stuff. And just but for you to try
- 1:39:00to stop that player when they're coming from in that tunnel up under there from
- 1:39:03the players parking, Yeah, you had to really just really to get your
- 1:39:09child out there. You were trying to do something that you shouldn't have been
- 1:39:11doing. But then and apparently this was at the at the at the light
- 1:39:15by the entrance to the you know what, you've seen it, yes,
- 1:39:18okay, and so he was, Yeah, the kid came up to him
- 1:39:23while he's sitting at the light. Yeah, it's a light right there.
- 1:39:26And Mike Michael Jordan's man, Michael Jordan has been accused of not being rude
- 1:39:30at that same area, like not signing people's things. But like you said,
- 1:39:34once you pull out and you're in the car and you come from under
- 1:39:36that tunnel, great, know what I'm talking about? Where where the previous
- 1:39:41coming out? That they're gone, man, and you know you just got
- 1:39:45to get out of the way. We'll be back for more the Sports Shop

- 1:42:14I'm Listenport Shuck Wing Candy. Good morning to you out there and listening
- 1:42:17Land. Glad to be here with you. Of sad note, as we
- 1:42:23talked about the Auburn player Brian Buttia, his brother Tommy, twenty four year
- 1:42:27old, passed away last week in a shooting. Brian, as far as
- 1:42:32I know, as of last night, was still in critical condition. There
- 1:42:36were four other shot. I don't know their status. They do have a
- 1:42:42gentleman in custody for the shooting, but right now it stands where uh,
- 1:42:50there is one person and Tommy Battie passed away that night. Brian is fighting
- 1:42:59for his life. They called the shooter. Not sure if he was the
- 1:43:05only one, the young man who did the shooting, but Darryl Bernard Brookins
- 1:43:12is his name. He's arrested for the weekend shooting and four others. I
- 1:43:19never did get any information of where those particular people were shot, but it
- 1:43:25was it sounds like he just started unloading the clip. Sadly, down in
- 1:43:30Sarasota, Florida was that case. So hopefully Brian recovers. But whenever you
- 1:43:40hear someone got shot in the head, critical condition. You never know even
- 1:43:43if they recover, how the quality of quality of life they will have after
- 1:43:48that point. But a lot of people, And it was another mass shooting
- 1:43:53yesterday, maybe in Pennsylvania a warehouse. Former employee walked. Then I forget
- 1:44:00the company. I want to say it was in Pennsylvania or Delaware, former
- 1:44:05employee. Like five or six people got shot Pennsylvania, pennsylv at a Lenen
- 1:44:13company. He came in and killed two people and shot three others. Right,
- 1:44:18yeah, yeah, so similar like what I was saying, let's not
- 1:44:23forget mass shootings. And the only reason I'm saying that, don't think I
- 1:44:27was always aware either. But there was a year we were doing the show
- 1:44:30and I reported, and I realized about eighty percent of them I almost a
- 1:44:36missed, and I forgot it's these little you know, three or four or
- 1:44:41five people, that's a mass shooting. It doesn't have to be at a
- 1:44:45Starbucks, it doesn't have to be at a school, it doesn't have to
- 1:44:48be on a school bus or you know, it can be just anywhere that
- 1:44:53that many people. So that means in five days, that's two mass shootings
- 1:45:00between the Auburn player and the one we're talking about now. So it's happening
- 1:45:05that fast. It just doesn't seem like it, because, as I said,
- 1:45:09we're looking for some kind of it happened at Disney World. Those are
- 1:45:15the ones we remember, right the ones that grab the biggest headline the headlines,
- 1:45:19but somebody dies in all of these. But in his case the one,
- 1:45:23two people died and three other shot. Right now, we don't know
- 1:45:27if Brian a bad Tea of Auburn, the running back, he's going to
- 1:45:30survive. But his brother did die at the scene. So just that fast
- 1:45:36life can go and be taken away from you, and we always forget that
- 1:45:42for some reason until it hit closer to home. What else did we have,
- 1:45:46Mike McDaniel, Yeah, Kenny, you said, the head coach of
- 1:45:49the Dolphins, Yes, going on record to talk about the situation with Harrison
- 1:45:57buck kerk Yes. And they asked Tim did he have any advice for his
- 1:46:01players and them making statements, and he just said basically that whatever you say,
- 1:46:08I hope that you believe it because if it's something incendiary like that,
- 1:46:12it's going to follow you. And he used Colin Kaepernick, and then the
- 1:46:17two gentlemen from the was it nineteen sixty eight Olympics that did the raising of
- 1:46:25the fists with the black leather gloves on their fists. He used those two
- 1:46:29examples of how those were singular moments, but they have followed them through their
- 1:46:34entire sports careers. They were singular moments tied to political action, but that
- 1:46:41defined their sporting careers throughout for their entire lives. So that's his advice to
- 1:46:46his players. If you're say in it, please believe it in your heart
- 1:46:51because you're gonna have to hold up for it at some point. Well,
- 1:46:55Patrick Mahomes weighed in on his teammate Harrison but Ker, and they say he's
- 1:47:01a good guy. And you do see a lot of people taking that stance
- 1:47:05that they're not saying what he said was wrong or right. They were just
- 1:47:10saying that he gets his opinion. We talked here on the show that we
- 1:47:15weren't saying it was the right conversation of the wrong. We were just talking
- 1:47:18about hijacking the moment. You can be taking your stance at the wrong thing.
- 1:47:27We had a you know, we had a kindergarten graduation and you up
- 1:47:30here start talking about you know Row versus Wade. It's like what you know,
- 1:47:38melowtone for the kids. And I think that people keep trying to make
- 1:47:48everyone take a side. He was wrong. He can't feel like that that
- 1:47:54was wrong, and I don't think that was. It was that kind of
- 1:47:58issue, a right or wrong issue. People are welcome to feel how they
- 1:48:00feel. It's just that you knew the expectation of what you thought of what
- 1:48:08it is a university expects when they now there were people on social media someone
- 1:48:14criticize uh, the university for even bringing him because, I mean, in
- 1:48:19their estimation, he's just a field goal kicker. Why have him in an
- 1:48:24academic environ? Well, I'm saying, but still, this is an academic
- 1:48:29environment that had nothing to do with kicking the ball through the field. A
- 1:48:31lot of speak. They just just had Jerry stein Seinfeld. I'm saying,
- 1:48:38sir, I understand why they have people. I understand what the reason is
- 1:48:43that they bring him, hoping that they resonate with the student body. But
- 1:48:46academics, and like we have football purists, they're a purist in every arena.
- 1:48:54So academic purists feel like academics appreciate the moment, but more would be
- 1:49:02dismissive through the years. It's all about, like you said, bringing the
- 1:49:06celebrity or somebody that can breach or the kids can resonate with. And that's
- 1:49:12whether they have turned to. And that's why polices have become the new kings
- 1:49:16and queens of our country. At one time it was the political realm.
- 1:49:21It used to be religious leaders. Right now, it was Hollywood right now,
- 1:49:27the voice of our nation comes through athletes, whether you agree with it
- 1:49:33or not. That's who has the biggest platform of controversy of any kind.
- 1:49:40You know more about athlete and what they think than you knew from your mayor.

- 1:52:04the school board when we put a spin on light and sports and how they
- 1:52:10intermingle on The Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy. Way, please you know
- 1:52:27you got ut out some time aboute back. Welcome back to this Spot Shock
- 1:52:43Show, The Spot Shock Wayne Kane. Once again, Shannon Sharp has some
- 1:52:47comments to throw at someone and trying to bring him down. Shannon seems to
- 1:52:53be more of was that his role when he was on this show with Skip
- 1:52:58Bayless. He was more of someone always trying to chip at people's success.
- 1:53:02Right in this story, he's ripping Tony Romo for his broadcasting style. I'm
- 1:53:10saying that Romo is not doing anything special, even going to saying that it's
- 1:53:19disingenuous that he predicts plays because Romo goes and watches the team practice during the
- 1:53:28week. So this is your But you remember when y'all remember a while back
- 1:53:38I said that. You remember I said something about Tony Romo's analogy and some
- 1:53:46of the things he was saying, I mean a while back, And y'all
- 1:53:49tell me how was wronger on some of his thoughts And and I saw when
- 1:53:56Shannon said that, and I was thinking, like Shannon and some other people,
- 1:54:00is just some of the things that let me ask a questions. Let
- 1:54:01me ask a questions. And I didn't mean to cut you off. Shirt.
- 1:54:06If you haven't completed your thoughts, complete that thought, I'm sorry.
- 1:54:11Are you complete with that thought? Go ahead? I mean, has Shannon
- 1:54:14ever done play by play? No? Okay, that's all I want it.
- 1:54:17You're on, No more further question. He's never done play by play,
- 1:54:21never been a color analyst. Is everything he's ever done is at a
- 1:54:26studio. That's all I wanted to know. I actually do what Tony Romo
- 1:54:30does, and I studied the guys that do that job, and I have
- 1:54:34felt like Tony Romo does a solid job at that. He removes any of
- 1:54:42that idea of celebrating himself, and he gives any and all thoughts and credit
- 1:54:46to the guys that's on the field. He's never up there saying what how
- 1:54:51he could have done? And I'm surprised that the bad producer that we're talking,
- 1:54:58could you stop typing. I'm surprised that the bad producer would insert that
- 1:55:03he had some criticisms of Attorney Romo as well. When you actually do get
- 1:55:10on a microphone and talk what I'm saying, Listen what I'm saying the way
- 1:55:16a Shannon Sharp said what he said. Because he is actually on film,
- 1:55:23people would think he has a level of inside expertise. As it refers to
- 1:55:28color commentary and play by play, those are two different animals. You know.
- 1:55:33People have come in here thinking that all y'all do is talk, and
- 1:55:38then we ask them their opinions and they have nothing to say because it's a
- 1:55:43specialized skill, of which Shannon Sharp has never attempted to display that skill in
- 1:55:50a real time situation. So I think what he's doing is going for clickbait
- 1:55:58because he wanted them gossip people. Now, he didn't got away from sports.
- 1:56:01He didne got toward gossip as entertainment. So he got to say something
- 1:56:04in scendiary for people to listen. Now, this all came on their show
- 1:56:09Shannon and Chad o' cho sinco on Night Cap. They were discussing Greg Olson,
- 1:56:14who won an Emmy for his role as a color analyst last year.
- 1:56:20Famously, we know that Tom Brady is taking over greg Olson. Greg Olsen
- 1:56:25is going to go to the second team. That's no knock on greg Olsen.
- 1:56:30They hired Tom Brady before Greg Olsen. And if I remember correctly,
- 1:56:33greg Oakson went in the booth and then decided he was going back and play
- 1:56:36football for a year and then came back. I thought that was Jason Witton.
- 1:56:41Oh that was great. Did Jason Witten do the same thing? I
- 1:56:44think both of them hit it. And then now Tom Brady, which Brady
- 1:56:49signed off, said he was going to take a year. Chad Johnson says
- 1:56:54he likes that Tony Roman, the way he calls the game. He predicts,
- 1:56:58And that's the thing I'm like, if you're up there and you're doing
- 1:57:00count, excuse me, color analysts work. You are predicting past a run.
- 1:57:08You are telling what you would have done or what you think would be
- 1:57:12more suitable. Now, as soon as you say I think they should run
- 1:57:15the ball and they throw the ball, that doesn't make you as though you
- 1:57:17don't have anything. You were so wrong. But for I don't know,
- 1:57:26it sounds some jealousy. It's a lot of the guys y'all get in your
- 1:57:30fifties and maybe your emotions are starting to show a lot of stuff. Starting
- 1:57:35to sound like some jealous people. It doesn't even make sense, like,
- 1:57:41Oh, because he watched them practice their week, Like, isn't that part
- 1:57:45of that? I thought that a good thing. He went out to practice
- 1:57:47to get an idea of how they what they do they do bring. Some
- 1:57:51people call that preparation. I thought that's what Some people call it preparation.
- 1:57:58Some people what y'all call it bad. My whole career National games, the
- 1:58:03people that's calling the game came out to practice Friday or Saturday and watched I
- 1:58:13don't even know what Shannon's talking about. I'm talking about from John Matt.
- 1:58:16That's when you met him. They don't just show up on Sunday. They
- 1:58:23interview you when you get there on a Saturday night at the hotel. You
- 1:58:28go in, you chat it up with him for thirty forty minutes and talk
- 1:58:32about what the expectations and maybe that kind of and maybe that kind of preparation
- 1:58:39is what gets you to live broadcasts instead of just being in studios. And
- 1:58:45whatever Tony Romo has put out there, I don't see where it needs to
- 1:58:49be criticized. Maybe it doesn't ring your ear where you think it's great.
- 1:58:54But I never thought Tony Romo does a bad job. And that's why I
- 1:59:00say one of the first things you have to be able to do is do
- 1:59:02the job without referencing yourself as the messiah. That's why I always tell I
- 1:59:11like Reggie Miller, I like when he calls games, I like Tony,
- 1:59:15I like guys Chris Collins word well, they don't try to make it like
- 1:59:18man. I was out there when I was doing it. I was out
- 1:59:21there reinventing the wheel. They don't try to do that. They they give
- 1:59:27credit. And Patrick mahomes he looks like a young me. Yeah, tell
- 1:59:32you that he could make any throw that Patrick Mahon say he made it in
- 1:59:36a dream once. But other than that, he is not on that man's
- 1:59:42level. But it's just very interesting that Shannon is now. I don't know,
- 1:59:45maybe that's his move to get his show going, to start this whole
- 1:59:51you know everybody almost what's my man name? That he works with now the
- 1:59:56stephen A. Smith stuff where I'm gonna say stuff that brings attention to me.
- 2:00:01But what do you call it? Clickbait? Clickbait? Yeah, kind
- 2:00:04of stuff. Maybe that's where he's changing. And if that's what you're doing
- 2:00:08to get the ratings up in the money, I can't sit here and say,
- 2:00:12hopefully you don't destroy enough people in the process of trying to make your
- 2:00:15own money. And we are in the ocean. The truth is he will
- 2:00:21throw you to the ocean. It's time to wrap things up on the Sports
- 2:00:27Jug show. It's Wayne Candy when the size of Ocean gives a sportshots just
- 2:00:48a minute to Ben would like to thank you for tuning in this week at

- 2:01:21contributions to day Ocean Candidate of the Year. I mean at some point we

- 2:01:36Jackson, thirty one year old, been wanted by the police since mid March
- 2:01:45of this year. Well down in Scambia County, Florida. They finally found
- 2:01:53mister David Jerome Jackson, and after a two hours of a home that they
- 2:02:01had information he was in, they located him. Mister Jackson had folded himself
- 2:02:10up in the dryer when they found These people need to be in Hollywood,
- 2:02:20man, they need to be. He does deserve around him. The falls.
- 2:02:26He had folded himself, a grown man thirty one years old, and
- 2:02:33the dryer he was as they pulled him out, and then, uh,
- 2:02:40here you go. You can get your a little quick look. Was it
- 2:02:43tumble lumpy? He is folded up in the dryer right there, guys,
- 2:02:46if you can kind of make it up, hiding from the laws stand.
- 2:02:51I stand for the flag. So that's why I said, candidate other years
- 2:02:56man a year and this this, this, this this little front looad trying.
- 2:03:00Yeah, let's look frontlow trying. That's not a big industrial at the
- 2:03:04at the launder back. Try funny story, funny picture. They looked and
- 2:03:11the thing about it. I was about to throw the law enforcement because I
- 2:03:14know what they did. They held the door closed till they got the camera.
- 2:03:17Hey man, go get thee here. Don't come out. We found
- 2:03:24it, we found it, but go get the camera. We don't get
- 2:03:26the care. We gotta get a picture, and we got to keep it
- 2:03:27quiet so we can't let his family hear us say go get the camera.
- 2:03:31Delicate cycle. That's what it was, David Jerome Jackson fucked up. Clank.
- 2:03:50Somebody heard something early on. It was like, Nah, all I
- 2:03:56kept thinking is how do you call your mama? You don't. You don't
- 2:04:00even call them, not my mama. I know you wasn't in my good
- 2:04:03dry I know you weren't debating the police in my good dryer. Boy from
