- 0:50SPEAKER_05: Divorce has a way of making you feel like you no longer belong.
- 0:54SPEAKER_05: Not in your marriage, not in the life you built, or the one you imagined you'd have, and sometimes not even in your own body.
- 1:02SPEAKER_05: And oddly enough, the story of homeopathy, something we prattle on about a lot around here, begins in a place many divorced women know intimately.
- 1:11SPEAKER_05: That moment when you realize the system you trusted may not be built to help you heal.
- 1:17SPEAKER_05: And maybe what hurts most after divorce isn't just the loss, it's realizing the places you expected safety, answers, or healing don't know how to hold what you're going through.
- 1:30SPEAKER_05: If you've ever experienced that disorienting moment when something you trusted, a marriage, a system, an institution, or even your own beliefs stopped making sense, this conversation is for you.
- 1:45SPEAKER_05: It's going to be full of history, healing, identity shifts, and the kind of intrigue that may challenge what you think you know.
- 1:57SPEAKER_05: Hi, love.
- 1:59SPEAKER_05: Welcome to Dear Divorce Diary, the podcast helping divorcees go beyond talk therapy to process your grief, find the healing you crave, and build back your confidence.
- 2:09SPEAKER_05: I'm your host, Don Wiggins, a therapist, coach, integrative healer, and divorcee.
- 2:15SPEAKER_05: Join me for a fresh approach to healing grief and building your confidence after divorce.
- 2:28SPEAKER_04: Darlings.
- 2:30SPEAKER_04: Hi.
- 2:36SPEAKER_04: Are you coming today?
- 2:37SPEAKER_04: Are you here?
- 2:37SPEAKER_04: Are you with us?
- 2:38SPEAKER_04: Like what the fuck?
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: I have this beautiful little cat on my lap right now, and she's so cuddly.
- 2:44SPEAKER_00: And I am so in my element this morning with a coffee and a cat.
- 2:48SPEAKER_05: I love that.
- 2:49SPEAKER_05: We're doing a slightly different episode today because we know that what we're going to talk about is something so integral to how we work with people that we want people to understand it better.
- 2:59SPEAKER_05: Right.
- 3:00SPEAKER_05: Yeah?
- 3:00SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 3:01SPEAKER_05: Very important.
- 3:01SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 3:02SPEAKER_05: Let's start with a fun angle.
- 3:06SPEAKER_05: Okay.
- 3:07SPEAKER_05: If you had to explain homeopathy badly, how would you explain it?
- 3:12SPEAKER_05: If you were drunk in an elevator at 2 a.m.
- 3:15SPEAKER_05: Ooh, ooh, ooh.
- 3:16SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 3:17SPEAKER_01: Are you ready?
- 3:18SPEAKER_01: Drunk in the elevator at 2 a.m.
- 3:20SPEAKER_01: You're talking to someone and the email, like they have endometriosis or whatever.
- 3:25SPEAKER_01: I guess super, I guess super animated and like it's improvement you can't prove.
- 3:30SPEAKER_01: Improvement you can't prove.
- 3:32SPEAKER_01: That's amazing.
- 3:33SPEAKER_01: So, like so many times.
- 3:35SPEAKER_01: I mean, there are there are some remedies that you have an immediate immediate shift, but but most of them, in my experience, have been slow burns.
- 3:44SPEAKER_01: And then you look back and you're like, wait a minute, I'm cleaning out my refrigerator.
- 3:49SPEAKER_01: And I don't do that typically because I have time and space.
- 3:52SPEAKER_01: And I have, you know what I mean?
- 3:53SPEAKER_01: Like wait a minute here.
- 3:57SPEAKER_01: I didn't just yell at my child because she talked back to me.
- 4:02SPEAKER_01: I could meet her where she's at because of oh, that that um rigidness or the the emotion.
- 4:11SPEAKER_01: Right, right, softens, like, oh.
- 4:15SPEAKER_01: So it's improvement you can't prove.
- 4:18SPEAKER_05: Tiffany, how do you explain homeopathy drunk in an elevator at 2 a.m.?
- 4:23SPEAKER_05: When Tiffany's drunk, also, everybody's beautiful, like gorgeous, beautiful.
- 4:26SPEAKER_05: I just love you.
- 4:27SPEAKER_05: Like Tiffany becomes like a pure like puddle of love when she's had a drink.
- 4:33SPEAKER_00: I do.
- 4:34SPEAKER_00: I absolutely do.
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: Um, I just, yeah, I could walk a runway.
- 4:39SPEAKER_00: Like I feel fucking fabulous.
- 4:41SPEAKER_00: Anyway, yeah.
- 4:42SPEAKER_00: So how would I explain it in an elevator at 2 a.m.?
- 4:45SPEAKER_00: I I would basically just say something to the effect like it's just ancient, ancient witchy shit, right?
- 4:54SPEAKER_00: Like it's ancient magic.
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: You know, like, yeah, like it's something ancient and magical and something that can't really be explained or described, but something that is just like incredibly powerful that will blow your mind.
- 5:07SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 5:08SPEAKER_01: And for the record, like the witchy, the witchy aspect of it, like I don't, I, golly, I don't want to offend anybody because I love you all.
- 5:16SPEAKER_01: Like, listeners, you're you're my favorite.
- 5:19SPEAKER_01: But like, I don't I struggle with Christians who don't believe in homeopathy because it's literally God's medicine.
- 5:26SPEAKER_01: God's design.
- 5:27SPEAKER_01: So I I don't, I'm not sure.
- 5:32SPEAKER_05: Yeah, like it's the system, it's a complete system of medicine, right?
- 5:35SPEAKER_05: That was designed by whatever the intelligent creator, whatever you call that thing.
- 5:39SPEAKER_05: Uh yeah.
- 5:40SPEAKER_05: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 5:41SPEAKER_05: Okay.
- 5:41SPEAKER_05: Let's talk for a moment why this conversation even belongs on a divorce recovery podcast.
- 5:48SPEAKER_05: And I would argue, I'm curious what your responses would be, but I would argue because by the time women are getting divorced, they are experiencing so much burden, overwhelm, overload that looks like insomnia, panic, gut disruption, hormonal chaos, rage, anxiety, disassociation, palpitations, exhaustion, autoimmune flares, and an inability to think clearly, and all of that is stuff that homeopathy tackles.
- 6:15SPEAKER_05: And then if you dig even deeper, the underpinnings of that are attachment style issues.
- 6:21SPEAKER_05: I've not seen anything impact that as profoundly as homeopathy.
- 6:25SPEAKER_05: So it's sort of like the whole picture from the burnt-out woman that is in the throes of divorce to the actual underlying traumas that caused the relationship to fall apart in the first place.
- 6:36SPEAKER_05: Homeopathy tackles.
- 6:38SPEAKER_05: Why would you guys say, Why would you ladies say it belongs on this podcast?
- 6:43SPEAKER_05: Or in the divorce recovery conversation.
- 6:46SPEAKER_01: I yeah, I will die on the hill that burnout is a real thing.
- 6:51SPEAKER_01: And when you're so depleted emotionally, you're sleep, you know, you're you're not sleeping, you're not eating to the best of nourishment of your body, you're not making the wisest decisions because you're just looking for the easiest um next step, next step, downshift um coping mechanism.
- 7:11SPEAKER_01: You're you know, you're like, wine reaching to wine.
- 7:14SPEAKER_01: Right, right.
- 7:14SPEAKER_01: You're reaching for all these things that kind of just try to numb as much as possible.
- 7:19SPEAKER_01: So homeopathy kind of meets you where you're at because you can still, it's not one or the other.
- 7:25SPEAKER_01: It's not it's not antidepressants or homeopathy.
- 7:29SPEAKER_01: Right, right.
- 7:29SPEAKER_01: Like they pair together and you can so beautifully find relief until you don't need XYZ anymore.
- 7:37SPEAKER_01: You know what I mean?
- 7:38SPEAKER_01: So I think that our women who are are literally in the weeds, in the mire, in the thick of the thick of the thickest moment, um, homeopathy is just such a gentle hug for them to help support them and lift them.
- 7:55SPEAKER_05: Sometimes early on, it's so hard to get traction in healing, right?
- 7:59SPEAKER_05: Because you're so exhausted, even like going to yoga, like all your old tricks don't work when you're that burnt out, right?
- 8:05SPEAKER_05: Like whether it's exercising or um, or you know, one of our new friends we've met from podcasting, like she was like, I always relied on working out to help me with all of the intense emotions.
- 8:16SPEAKER_05: She's like, and then I got injured and then I couldn't work out, and then I lost my mind.
- 8:20SPEAKER_05: You know, it's like when all when you're so yeah, in the weeds that all your old tricks don't work.
- 8:25SPEAKER_05: Yeah, homeopathy is really a winner in those moments.
- 8:29SPEAKER_05: Okay.
- 8:31SPEAKER_05: This question is for Tiffany.
- 8:33SPEAKER_05: What symptoms do you see women, especially divorced women, go through that make our conventional support systems feel incomplete?
- 8:42SPEAKER_05: Like the conventional approaches.
- 8:44SPEAKER_05: Not irrelevant, but incomplete.
- 8:48SPEAKER_00: I have had so many women tell me that their doctors and or therapists have told them that a lot of what they're experiencing can be hormonal.
- 9:01SPEAKER_00: Or it's just hormonal.
- 9:04SPEAKER_00: So it's it's kind of one of those things where it's a hard time separating what you're feeling.
- 9:08SPEAKER_00: And so as a woman, when we're told that the symptoms that we have are hormonal, I I kind of get pissed by that.
- 9:16SPEAKER_00: I don't know how everybody else feels, but yes, is there a real thing that happens during perimenopause, pre-menopause, menopause?
- 9:22SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 9:22SPEAKER_00: But I feel like when you add a divorce on top of that or tr like trauma, just basic like suppressed trauma, there's so many other symptoms that once you start being able to work through trauma, also be able to use homeopathy to get some of those symptoms to quiet down.
- 9:40SPEAKER_00: It's so interesting.
- 9:41SPEAKER_00: I have so many women that come to us and say, I thought that everything I was experiencing, or a large majority of it, was hormonal.
- 9:48SPEAKER_00: And after homeopathy, I realized that it's not that at all.
- 9:51SPEAKER_00: It was my suppression.
- 9:53SPEAKER_00: It was the anger I was feeling, the rage, the pain, the trauma, the anger, like everything that they were feeling was being manifested in their body and presenting as symptoms that appear like they're hormonal.
- 10:03SPEAKER_00: But then they may have a hormonal component, right?
- 10:06SPEAKER_00: Our hormones certainly are yeah, correct.
- 10:09SPEAKER_00: But that's not the whole story.
- 10:11SPEAKER_00: And I feel like it's so easy for us to go to a doctor, especially when we're in our 40s and 50s, and for the doctor to just write it off as hormonal, hey, here's a replacement therapy, and we're out the door and we're still feeling like shit.
- 10:23SPEAKER_00: Like we're still not shifting or moving.
- 10:26SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 10:26SPEAKER_05: And I think the symptom that stands out to me the most that makes conventional support incomplete is disassociation, right?
- 10:34SPEAKER_05: I, how many people as an EMDR therapist have I heard say in the comments of, you know, Facebook or whatever, like, oh, EMDR didn't work for me?
- 10:42SPEAKER_05: Well, yeah, because when we're so disassociated, or even like somebody in my family who has so much autoimmune stuff, and eventually even their Western, like their conventional medications stopped working for them because like they were just their body was so toxically burdened, they were so disconnected, their energetic field was so blocked, right?
- 11:55SPEAKER_05: Even even their own regular conventional pain meds stopped working, but homeopathy had a way of breaking through that blockage, and then their conventional Western meds started working again.
- 12:07SPEAKER_05: It's like they are very, very integrative and beautiful.
- 12:11SPEAKER_05: So okay.
- 12:13SPEAKER_05: What were each of your wait, what moments with homeopathy in your own lives where you're like, okay, something is happening here.
- 12:23SPEAKER_05: I can't explain it, but like this is something I need to pay attention to and understand better.
- 12:30SPEAKER_01: Um, I'm probably gonna be like what um what made me believe so passionately about it was like uh like the wake-up call was probably very, very early on in the homeopathy unboxing onion journey was my daughter.
- 12:51SPEAKER_01: My daughter was born at two pounds three ounces, my oldest was born at two pounds three ounces, and she was flooded with medicines and home.
- 12:59SPEAKER_01: I mean, uh modern medicine saved her life.
- 13:01SPEAKER_01: That is a hill I will die on.
- 13:03SPEAKER_01: But also her system was was, you know, so so incredibly messed up.
- 13:09SPEAKER_01: Um, and we had to give her injections, needle injections in her arm every night to get her to grow because she was her HGH levels were non-existent.
- 13:23SPEAKER_01: And um, we started treating her homeopathically, and I stopped the medicines.
- 13:31SPEAKER_01: You want to talk about a scared mama?
- 13:33SPEAKER_01: Like when you're trying to fight for your daughter against the stream, um against the stream, the mod right, the modern even family members who was look verbally told me I was damaging my daughter.
- 13:50SPEAKER_01: So when I stopped her growth hormones and started homeopathy to m mend her body to let her body, I believe our bodies were designed to heal themselves.
- 14:03SPEAKER_01: And so when you do that for your child, um, and she shot at like she immediately, her body immediately, almost immediately started doing what it was supposed to do and the way it was created.
- 14:18SPEAKER_01: So um I think that was the moment, and that was really early on.
- 14:21SPEAKER_01: Um, the mental emotionals were a little bit harder, just you know, like no offense, but they were harder for me to get behind um because I believed that germs cause your cold, not the depletion for the germs to penetrate to cause your cold, you know.
- 14:36SPEAKER_01: So I think that definitely when Eden started growing and sh she started developing on time and all of her all of her systems just kind of started working when they were supposed to.
- 14:51SPEAKER_02: Amazing.
- 14:52SPEAKER_02: How about for you, Tifferdoodle?
- 14:55SPEAKER_00: I think my personal moment was when my autoimmune just went away.
- 15:03SPEAKER_00: Like all of my symptoms for my autoimmune disease went away that the doctors couldn't explain why I was feeling like that.
- 15:09SPEAKER_00: There was no explanation, there was no medication.
- 15:12SPEAKER_00: Um, it was literally just, hey, this is an autoimmune.
- 15:15SPEAKER_00: We don't know what caused it or what is happening in your body.
- 15:18SPEAKER_00: And so when I started doing homeopathy and have literally had nothing, no flares in I would say two years now, over two years.
- 15:28SPEAKER_00: Um, that's when I started thinking, wow, like this shit is real.
- 15:33SPEAKER_00: Um, and it wasn't that I didn't believe in it back then, but again, I I needed to experience it for myself and in my own family, I think, in order to be able to believe it.
- 15:42SPEAKER_00: So to the people out there that are like, yeah, okay, like just try it.
- 15:45SPEAKER_00: Like that's what we're gonna tell you, right?
- 15:47SPEAKER_00: Like find yourself a really amazing homeopath and get you some great constitutional care and see what happens.
- 15:52SPEAKER_00: That's how I felt it for myself.
- 15:54SPEAKER_00: Obviously, for my daughter specifically, homeopathy changed her entire life from a mental health perspective.
- 16:01SPEAKER_00: And for me, it's watching a child who, you know, really struggled with a lot of mental health issues, had some suicidal ideation attempts, addiction issues, things like that, sort of start to really like I think what did it for me was when other people started to notice.
- 16:18SPEAKER_00: Other people started to notice how she was showing up in her daily life and how much she had changed and how different she was.
- 16:25SPEAKER_00: I was seeing it, but it's like for other people to experience her in that way, to go from having a child that has a lot of those mental health issues to basically the part where it's not that she doesn't struggle still, but it's the the peaks and valleys aren't so peak and valley-ish.
- 16:41SPEAKER_00: It's more like it's in it's evening out.
- 16:44SPEAKER_00: And you know, look, we tried everything.
- 16:45SPEAKER_00: We had tried therapy, we had tried conventional medicine for her.
- 16:48SPEAKER_00: And I'm a person that was on antidepressants for 10 years.
- 16:51SPEAKER_00: So I'm not anti, I'm not anti-antidepressant.
- 16:54SPEAKER_00: Let me just put that out there.
- 16:56SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 16:56SPEAKER_00: I think what I can tell people about the difference between the two is when I was on antidepressants, I always felt like I was online, like my brain was online, but not in a great way.
- 17:10SPEAKER_00: Like I felt like I was um activated most of the time when I was on antidepressants.
- 17:15SPEAKER_00: Like there was a calm, but there was also this underlying feeling of like nervousness or anxiousness, or I can't really describe it.
- 17:22SPEAKER_00: For with homeopathy, it's like I have these periods of just absolute calm.
- 17:28SPEAKER_00: And I'm so in tune with my body that I know every day when I get up, if I'm feeling off, I know I need to take something.
- 17:35SPEAKER_00: But it's the thing for me that's lasted the longest, it's been the most consistent.
- 17:39SPEAKER_00: It's given me changes physically and mentally in my body, and also it's helped my daughter.
- 17:44SPEAKER_00: And she was somebody that was just diagnosed almost a year ago with celiac and now has no symptoms of gluten intolerance.
- 17:51SPEAKER_00: Or I mean, when I tell you like it's insane, like it is insane.
- 17:55SPEAKER_05: Yeah, yeah.
- 17:56SPEAKER_00: So yeah.
- 17:57SPEAKER_05: It's amazing.
- 17:57SPEAKER_05: Okay.
- 17:58SPEAKER_05: Let's talk about what the crap it is.
- 17:59SPEAKER_05: What is homeopathy?
- 18:01SPEAKER_05: Because what what do you hear most people think homeopathy is?
- 18:03SPEAKER_05: I typically think people think it's like herbs.
- 18:06SPEAKER_05: Yeah, like plants.
- 18:07SPEAKER_05: That's what they say.
- 18:09SPEAKER_05: Yeah, something natural.
- 18:11SPEAKER_05: And it's not that it's not, but it's w way different than that.
- 18:14SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 18:15SPEAKER_05: Um, so and go ahead.
- 18:18SPEAKER_01: I was gonna say, I've also heard a lot that it's snake oil, like it's all in your head.
- 18:21SPEAKER_01: Like it's all Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 18:22SPEAKER_01: Like it's uh placebo or whatever.
- 18:25SPEAKER_01: Placebo.
- 18:25SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 18:26SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 18:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah, totally.
- 18:28SPEAKER_05: Which would mean, right, that every remedy we give would give the same result.
- 18:32SPEAKER_05: Like and and P.S.
- 18:35SPEAKER_05: I use it with the dogs.
- 18:38SPEAKER_05: They don't know, right?
- 18:39SPEAKER_05: Like they can't, they can't when you give it to a baby, like the baby can't think it's placebo, right?
- 18:45SPEAKER_05: So that's pretty easy to debunk, but that is what yeah, people think of.
- 18:49SPEAKER_05: Because because homeopathy challenges the norms that we have come to understand, the dominant narratives, the dominant narratives.
- 18:57SPEAKER_05: And that is exactly what, and we're gonna just lightly touch on this because I don't want to bother you with the history and the science, but Samuel Hahneman, who discovered homeopathy, or like put the pieces together, because I think there were a lot of people that over time were discovering the elements of homeopathy, he was wildly going against the flow.
- 19:15SPEAKER_05: He did not belong amongst his fellow medical practitioners.
- 19:19SPEAKER_05: He was really swimming upstream.
- 19:22SPEAKER_05: And I do think that we're in another moment in time.
- 19:25SPEAKER_05: This happens periodically in time, right?
- 19:27SPEAKER_05: Where you get a group of people who are like, hang on, this dominant narrative, I'm finding holes in it.
- 19:33SPEAKER_05: There are holes in what they are telling us on the news, right?
- 19:37SPEAKER_05: Like, why do we all need prescriptions stacked on our prescriptions?
- 19:41SPEAKER_05: Why is our food additive so different than what they have in Europe?
- 19:45SPEAKER_05: Why, you know, are we all so dissociated?
- 19:48SPEAKER_05: Anyway, so what is homeopathy actually?
- 19:52SPEAKER_05: It is the idea.
- 19:53SPEAKER_05: Well, first of all, the word homeopathy means similar suffering.
- 19:57SPEAKER_05: The idea that a substance that is capable of producing a symptom picture like coffee would create racing thoughts or sleeplessness.
- 20:07SPEAKER_05: A raw onion would create watery burning eyes and a runny nose.
- 20:13SPEAKER_05: That if it's used energetically, the same substance could actually stimulate your healing.
- 20:20SPEAKER_05: That's like so confusing.
- 20:22SPEAKER_05: Everybody's eyes just start glazing over, right?
- 20:25SPEAKER_05: But if you think about it, we use a similar concept when we use Adderall to treat ADHD, right?
- 20:32SPEAKER_05: We take someone who is wildly unfocused and hyperactive, and we give them a stimulant and they get calm.
- 20:40SPEAKER_05: We do the same thing or similar with vaccines.
- 20:43SPEAKER_05: We introduce the pathogen and the body then recognizes it and has a memory of how to deal with it.
- 20:51SPEAKER_05: So homeopathy is actually an energetic preparation.
- 20:56SPEAKER_05: If you've heard of things frequency or energy in the world, right?
- 21:01SPEAKER_05: Like your radio signal comes from a frequency, your Wi-Fi works through a frequency.
- 21:07SPEAKER_05: Everything we do in life has a frequency, and homeopathy takes the beginning of a substance.
- 21:13SPEAKER_05: It could be made from a plant, an animal, or mineral, lots of things, right?
- 21:16SPEAKER_05: And it dilutes it, which is the point where we lose people.
- 21:19SPEAKER_05: Uh dilutes it to the point where it's down to just a frequency.
- 21:23SPEAKER_05: And so if you have itchy, watery eyes, we would use the frequency of onion to treat it.
- 21:29SPEAKER_05: If you were restless at night and you couldn't sleep and you were having the racing thoughts, we would use the frequency of coffee to treat that.
- 21:35SPEAKER_05: It's just using what is found naturally and potentied, like made into like diluted into a frequency so that it um can stimulate your body's natural capacity to heal itself.
- 21:50SPEAKER_01: I do think that that is kind of a common narrative in the medical.
- 21:56SPEAKER_01: Like when you get bitten by a snake, they treat you with snake venom.
- 22:01SPEAKER_01: Anti-venom.
- 22:02SPEAKER_01: So like the right.
- 22:03SPEAKER_01: So the anti-venom.
- 22:04SPEAKER_01: I do think that that narrative can be understood a little bit of a couple.
- 22:09SPEAKER_01: It's present in some places, right?
- 22:11SPEAKER_05: And that's because Hippocrates, and I think many people recognize that when doctors swear their oath, they swear the Hippocratic oath.
- 22:18SPEAKER_05: Hippocrates was alive in like 460 BCE.
- 22:23SPEAKER_05: Um, and he talked about the law of similars and the law of opposites.
- 22:29SPEAKER_05: So all the way back to Hippocrates, we were really getting um this concept that the law of similars can create cure, if you will.
- 22:40SPEAKER_05: So this is, you know, really old wisdom.
- 22:44SPEAKER_05: And then in around the Renaissance period, we had Paracelsus, uh, and he started talking about the dose is what matters, right?
- 22:52SPEAKER_05: The idea that um, you know, too much of something all of a sudden makes it a a poison, but that in small amounts some poisons can cure.
- 23:02SPEAKER_05: And so that was a really interesting concept to have introduced, you know, around the late 1400s, early 1500s, too.
- 23:10SPEAKER_05: So this is not homeopathy is by no means new.
- 23:13SPEAKER_05: It is very, very, very old.
- 23:15SPEAKER_05: And Samuel Hahneman, he is who actually like put all the pieces together uh in the late 1700s, early 1800s.
- 23:22SPEAKER_05: And from his time where he figured out that they were using chinchona bark to treat malaria, oh, that was because of the law of similars.
- 23:30SPEAKER_05: Uh and it really grew in popularity for a very long time.
- 23:36SPEAKER_05: I'm not gonna spend a long time here on the history, so if your eyes are so To glaze over, like, come back, don't go towards the light.
- 23:44SPEAKER_05: But what we want you to know is that homeopathy used to be mainstream even in America.
- 23:49SPEAKER_05: By the early 1900s, we had 22 homeopathic medical schools.
- 23:53SPEAKER_05: We had a hundred homeopathic hospitals in the U.S., especially around the New York area.
- 23:57SPEAKER_05: We had orphanages and elder care institutions that were homeopathically based, thousands of homeopathic pharmacies, and thousands of physicians.
- 24:05SPEAKER_05: It was not crunchy internet medicine.
- 24:08SPEAKER_05: It was like embedded in our medical approach.
- 24:12SPEAKER_05: And there are a lot of famous people through time.
- 24:15SPEAKER_05: My daughter was just reading the Shadow and Bone series last week, and there were so many references inside of it of like calling to like, which is exactly that sort of law of similar concept.
- 24:26SPEAKER_05: But people like Mahatma Gandhi, he absolutely believed that homeopathy could cure just about anything.
- 24:31SPEAKER_05: Mark Twain has commented on homeopathy.
- 24:33SPEAKER_05: The British Royal Family traveled with their own homeopaths, Paul McCartney, David Beckham, like so many well-known.
- 24:41SPEAKER_01: Gwen Sponsor and Liv Tyler talks about it.
- 24:44SPEAKER_01: Like even people that we would we would recognize now are Cindy Crawford, Jennifer Aniston.
- 24:50SPEAKER_00: Like they're all into that.
- 24:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 24:53SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 24:53unknown: Yeah.
- 24:54SPEAKER_05: How they don't age.
- 24:55SPEAKER_05: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 24:56SPEAKER_05: And so what happens is this guy Hahneman, right?
- 25:02SPEAKER_05: He figures out like, wow, they are treating people with like bloodletting, which is what killed who was our first president?
- 25:09SPEAKER_05: George Washington.
- 25:10SPEAKER_04: George Washington.
- 25:11SPEAKER_05: They were using, yeah, they were dosing mercury to treat syphilis, right?
- 25:15SPEAKER_05: They were doing, they were using this sort of heroic medicine, but the results were like meep.
- 25:22SPEAKER_05: Um, and there is some really interesting data, historical data, that with historical pandemics like cholera, that the homeopathic hospitals had much better mortality rates than our quote unquote modern medicine at the time.
- 25:37SPEAKER_05: But then something happened in America that pushed homeopathy to the sidelines because it's still very popular in other countries.
- 25:45SPEAKER_05: Um, but we had the Flexner report come out in 1910, and there was a medical education restructuring, what actually became illegal for homeopaths and doctors to consult with each other.
- 25:55SPEAKER_05: And we shifted our medical system in favor of things that matter, people.
- 26:01SPEAKER_05: I'm not saying these things don't matter.
- 26:02SPEAKER_05: I'm just saying came out of balance, right?
- 26:04SPEAKER_05: Lab science, pharmaceuticals, surgical models.
- 26:06SPEAKER_05: I actually think surgery is one of the places where Western medicine shines.
- 26:09SPEAKER_05: But it was like there were these competing systems suddenly, and it's like there wasn't room for both ways.
- 26:16SPEAKER_05: So did this just become a conspiracy episode?
- 26:19SPEAKER_01: Maybe.
- 26:21SPEAKER_04: Depends on who you ask.
- 26:23SPEAKER_01: No, but if you, I mean, if you even if you just Google the difference between hospitals before Rockefeller, post-Rockefeller, and the switch from the copper glasses to the plastic.
- 26:37SPEAKER_01: You know what I mean?
- 26:37SPEAKER_01: Like there was a shift because financially there is more money to be made in cutting costs and cutting quality and cutting um, you know, the sun decks and the linen sheets and all of the natural.
- 26:53SPEAKER_01: There's a vast difference between the two.
- 26:58SPEAKER_05: So what would you say to someone who's like, no, but really, I'm just getting divorced.
- 27:03SPEAKER_05: Just I just need help with my divorce, and I don't get the point here.
- 27:07SPEAKER_05: And I want proof.
- 27:09SPEAKER_05: Maybe they're curious, but they're like, uh, what's the point?
- 27:12SPEAKER_01: I I don't have time for this.
- 27:14SPEAKER_01: I mean, to that woman who wants proof, great, send us a DM and we'll send you a bottle.
- 27:23SPEAKER_01: Like, yeah, well, be your own proof.
- 27:27SPEAKER_01: Be your own statistic, right?
- 27:29SPEAKER_05: Like So if you love manifesting, this is often the key that unlocks it for a lot of people, amongst other things, right?
- 27:39SPEAKER_05: Homeopathy is not the only pillar we use in uh in our programs.
- 27:45SPEAKER_05: We use IFS, we use human design, we use law of attraction, we use EMDR, we use all of these things.
- 27:52SPEAKER_05: So we're not, but we want you to understand, right, like where homeopathy came from, what it does.
- 27:57SPEAKER_05: But manifestation is a vibrational, right?
- 28:01SPEAKER_05: When you talk to someone and they talk about being high vibes only, or that when you're wanting to manifest something that is positive, you have to become, you have to be able to vibrate at that frequency of positivity, right?
- 28:13SPEAKER_05: Homeopathy is frequency medicine.
- 28:16SPEAKER_05: That's what it does, is it helps raise your vibration very quickly.
- 28:20SPEAKER_05: Um, and disease happens at a low vibe state.
- 28:24SPEAKER_05: And so if you are into manifestation, if you are into um not having to spend years and years and years and years and years and years and years recovering from these things, if you are burnt out and you don't and you're exhausted of even healing, right?
- 28:39SPEAKER_05: Like, what about that, loves?
- 28:40SPEAKER_05: Like, how much less do you have to chase healing these days because the remedies fill the gaps?
- 28:48SPEAKER_00: Well, and that's what I mean, for me, doing IFS with people, there's a clear, there's there's I can put it in box A and box B, you know, in box A are clients I work with that don't do homeopathy.
- 28:59SPEAKER_00: And it's not that they can't experience shifts and the IFS isn't powerful for them, but then there's the people in box B that are going to another level and they're getting there much faster because they're able to work through their own energetic blocks to be able to clear all of that so that they have capacity.
- 29:14SPEAKER_00: And I think that that's what homeopathy for me gives so many people is that capacity.
- 29:19SPEAKER_00: Because when you are operating from a place of exhaustion and burnout, you can't do the work.
- 29:25SPEAKER_00: You are surviving at that point.
- 29:27SPEAKER_00: There is no tipping up.
- 29:29SPEAKER_00: You're just trying to get through your day.
- 29:31SPEAKER_00: And so it is very difficult, even if you're seeing a regular therapist, it is very difficult to do hard work and therapy and not just be going to a therapist to talk every week if you do not have capacity to work through your shit.
- 29:43SPEAKER_05: So homeopathy is not mainstream.
- 29:46SPEAKER_05: And if you Google it, Google is gonna tell you it's Nick Oil.
- 29:51SPEAKER_05: And we're gonna tell you it's because it's not mainstream that it has our attention.
- 29:58SPEAKER_05: That there is a growing group of people who are recognizing that, hey, the way we've been approaching wellness has not been very well.
- 30:08SPEAKER_05: And I'd say we have a vision, right, for wellness in in within our community of women that we reach, that we want you to know there's an easier way, there's a more complete way, there's a more holistic way, there's a way where you don't have to keep suppressing who you are, what you're struggling with that will actually help you come home to yourself in a faster, deeper way than sometimes I think we can even imagine.
- 30:35SPEAKER_05: What do you feel like we haven't tackled about homeopathy today?
- 30:38SPEAKER_05: It's just become a way of living for us, right?
- 30:40SPEAKER_02: But what about to the person who's like no clue?
- 30:46SPEAKER_02: What questions do you think they would have that we haven't answered?
- 30:51SPEAKER_01: What are the I would love Dawn for you to kind of dig into the side effects.
- 30:59SPEAKER_01: You know, like, well, what are the side effects?
- 31:02SPEAKER_01: Because you take homeopathy and you XYZ.
- 31:05SPEAKER_01: Talk a little bit about that.
- 31:06SPEAKER_01: Just be just just for the for the women or for our listeners who have had kind of like dabbled in it but not really understood it, um, to the point of having a side effect.
- 31:20SPEAKER_05: I love the side effect conversation, yeah, because if you ever read the side effects of any of the pharmaceuticals you're taking.
- 31:25SPEAKER_05: Right.
- 31:26SPEAKER_01: That's why I'm like, uh, let's talk about that.
- 31:28SPEAKER_05: So yeah, homeopathy doesn't have side effects in the traditional sense.
- 31:32SPEAKER_05: What it because it's not adding any materi crude material, right?
- 31:35SPEAKER_05: This is the this is the thing where people are like, what are you talking about?
- 31:39SPEAKER_05: It is introducing a frequency into your body that is stimulating your body's natural vital force.
- 31:46SPEAKER_05: It is clearing energetic blocks in your body.
- 31:49SPEAKER_05: And so, because the body was designed to heal itself, if you stub your toe or slam your finger in a door, the body is gonna immediately on its own, without you having to tell it to, it's gonna initiate healing, right?
- 32:01SPEAKER_05: So where we see chronic symptoms, we know that vital force is blocked, that it's start, it's an initiated healing loop, but it hasn't been able to close it.
- 32:09SPEAKER_05: And typically that's because we are so, so, so suppressed.
- 32:12SPEAKER_05: We're emotionally suppressed, we are suppressed by medication, we are suppressed by disassociation, we are suppressed by culture, right?
- 32:19SPEAKER_05: We are suppressed, suppressed, suppressed.
- 32:21SPEAKER_05: And so our vital force is literally bogged down.
- 32:23SPEAKER_05: When we talk about in IFS that we have exiled parts that are still carrying burdens, like literally at a cellular level, our bodies are carrying subclinical viral load, our bodies are carrying toxins, our bodies are carrying unresolved traumas, our bodies are carrying so much.
- 32:39SPEAKER_05: And so what we think of as a traditional side effect, where you put a pharmaceutical in your body and it creates an additional symptom because your liver and your kidneys and your blood and your blood-brain barrier all get exposed to this synthetic medication, you have the potential for a side effect.
- 32:57SPEAKER_05: In homeopathy, we don't have side effects, but we do have purging.
- 33:03SPEAKER_05: Purging.
- 33:04SPEAKER_05: So you might take a remedy and then you might notice you get a rash.
- 33:09SPEAKER_05: And it's not because the home the remedy creates rashes, it's because it's initiated a detox process that's now coming through your skin.
- 33:19SPEAKER_05: You might take a remedy and you might yell at your kid because you are literally experiencing a liver detox and an emotional shedding that is unstuck energy unstuck energy flowing through your body.
- 33:34SPEAKER_05: Uh, what are some other things?
- 33:36SPEAKER_05: Sneezing is a common one.
- 33:38SPEAKER_05: I think we see itching with certain remedies.
- 33:41SPEAKER_05: Emotional detox in general.
- 33:44SPEAKER_05: We often see really good poops when we're on the right remedy, right?
- 33:48SPEAKER_05: Or some changes in our digestion.
- 33:50SPEAKER_05: You know, for a moment you might have more gas or bloating before things this smooth out, right?
- 33:55SPEAKER_05: Because it's all this pent-up energy that has been stuck and all of a sudden a healing phase has been initiated and your body is doing what it knows how to do.
- 34:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 34:03SPEAKER_01: So we get over here, we get excited when someone has a symptom.
- 34:07SPEAKER_01: Yeah, right.
- 34:07SPEAKER_01: Because I'm like, oh, let's get that stuff out, right?
- 34:10SPEAKER_01: Um, out, out.
- 34:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 34:13SPEAKER_05: There are times where I'll mobilize things in my body, like I'll start to detox things faster than my body is prepared to do, right?
- 34:20SPEAKER_05: And so then let's say I have like a little buildup of toxins, like in a foot or a finger or something, you know, or I'm peeing extra in the night.
- 34:28SPEAKER_05: And it's because I've initiated a detox using the remedies, right?
- 34:32SPEAKER_05: But then the body has to shuttle it all out.
- 34:34SPEAKER_05: And so those aren't side effects, they are symptoms.
- 34:37SPEAKER_05: Um, but the remedies don't actually add any crude material, they're completely diluted past Avrogato scale to the point where there is no discernible original material on it, in it.
- 34:49SPEAKER_05: It's just frequency, which is hard for people to wrap their heads around and why it easily gets called snake oil, because we send you a remedy, and if you tested the contents of the bottle, what you would find is it has ethyl alcohol and water in it.
- 35:03SPEAKER_05: And also frequency.
- 35:05SPEAKER_05: Or if you buy it from Amazon in the little sugar pellets, right, you would have little like lactose sucrose pellets.
- 35:12SPEAKER_02: And that's like all you would find.
- 35:14SPEAKER_02: And frequency.
- 35:19SPEAKER_05: So when we're talking about things like attachment styles, how the heck does homeopathy recover and treat that?
- 35:28SPEAKER_05: Super interesting concepts.
- 35:29SPEAKER_05: What have been some of the favorite remedies that maybe you guys have noticed for attachment styles?
- 35:37SPEAKER_05: Like oxytocin is made in potency, really high potency helps repair attachment styles.
- 35:44SPEAKER_05: Um what about um Nat Mirror?
- 35:49SPEAKER_01: Right, because it's grief.
- 35:51SPEAKER_01: It's it's my least favorite remedy because it's so much emotional purging.
- 35:56SPEAKER_01: Right, because I really I struggled with it physically because I had so much, so, so much um suppressed grief.
- 36:04SPEAKER_01: But it also is my favorite because I had so, so, so much repressed grief.
- 36:09SPEAKER_05: And so then it gives you that sense of security.
- 36:11SPEAKER_05: Once that grief is processed, you no longer need your defense mechanism.
- 36:15SPEAKER_05: So now you have a greater sense of security in your relationships.
- 36:18SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 36:18SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 36:19SPEAKER_05: And it can go all the way back in the timeline, right?
- 36:22SPEAKER_05: What other remedies?
- 36:23SPEAKER_01: Because I needed it.
- 36:24SPEAKER_01: I I also handed it.
- 36:25SPEAKER_01: I mean, you know I also gave it to my children because they inherited my energetic, right?
- 36:29SPEAKER_01: So like Yes.
- 36:30SPEAKER_01: That's right.
- 36:32SPEAKER_05: Tiffany, what have been some of your favorite remedies for attachment style stuff?
- 36:37SPEAKER_00: Um I would say probably enacardium.
- 36:43SPEAKER_00: It's probably one of the hardest, biggest shifts that I had myself, you know, operating in two parts, basically.
- 36:50SPEAKER_00: Um like for my attachment style, I always had like a big ego state.
- 36:54SPEAKER_00: Like, you know, as somebody in corporate, as a single mom, I operate in an ego state a majority of the time.
- 37:00SPEAKER_00: I don't either.
- 37:00SPEAKER_00: So I didn't know the self-like I've got how to handle it.
- 37:03SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 37:03SPEAKER_00: So it's like I didn't know the difference between ego state and just being confident.
- 37:08SPEAKER_00: Like I'm either a boss bitch or I'm weak in my eyes, right?
- 37:13SPEAKER_00: Or I just can't seem to operate and function confidently.
- 37:15SPEAKER_00: So anyway, that was a huge remedy for me to be able to work through that ego state, be able to ask for help when I needed it, ask for what I needed emotionally and things like that.
- 37:24SPEAKER_00: Um, that was super impactful for me and my healing.
- 37:27SPEAKER_05: We use hydrogen a good bit too with a lot of plants, right?
- 37:30SPEAKER_05: Because hydrogen sort of gives us the sense of self, right?
- 37:33SPEAKER_05: Like the ability to like have a sense of self that's grounded in I exist.
- 37:39SPEAKER_05: Mm-hmm.
- 37:39SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 37:40SPEAKER_00: And pulsatilla is supposed to be huge too for attachment.
- 37:45SPEAKER_01: That was a big one for my one of my daughters was pulsatilla.
- 37:48SPEAKER_01: It's like the um, it's the not being alone.
- 37:52SPEAKER_01: It's like the attachment.
- 37:53SPEAKER_01: Because, you know, like I don't want I don't want my girls going into middle school having attachment issues, like needing to be right, like the attention, right?
- 38:04SPEAKER_01: And can't can't be alone, can't be so but there are thousands of remedies, right?
- 38:08SPEAKER_05: There are literally thousands and thousands and thousands and thousands of remedies.
- 38:12SPEAKER_05: And so very often if someone has tried a remedy and it hasn't worked for them, it's either because it wasn't the remedy that you needed for your individual vibrational state, or there weren't enough potencies there because the cure has to be slightly stronger than the disease state.
- 38:30SPEAKER_05: Does that make sense?
- 38:31SPEAKER_05: Like if you're really, really, really disassociated or you're really, really, really, really rashy, or you're really, really, really, really whatever you are, and you don't take a strong enough potency, it's like, let's say you had surgery and someone gave you Tylenol.
- 38:44SPEAKER_05: Does that mean Tylen and you were like, this didn't touch my pain, does that mean Tylenol doesn't work?
- 38:48SPEAKER_05: No.
- 38:49SPEAKER_05: It means the medication and the potency weren't enough to reach beyond your level of pain, right?
- 38:56SPEAKER_05: So for anybody who's ever heard that homeopathy doesn't work, or you know, it's because the the selection, the remedy selection has to be right and at least similar, right?
- 39:08SPEAKER_05: It has to be at least in the on the same field.
- 39:10SPEAKER_05: And then the potency has to be strong enough.
- 39:13SPEAKER_05: And um, it is interesting because it's energy medicine, it can reach all the way back through your timeline to address old traumas, pre-verbal traumas, which is why it's such a game changer for things like EMDR and IFS for people who can't access their bodies or feel their bodies very well, right?
- 39:28SPEAKER_05: If you ask someone, where do you feel that in your body?
- 39:31SPEAKER_05: If you can't answer that question easily, it's a good chance you uh you would really benefit from a well-selected remedy who can help thaw that disconnect you have from your mind and body.
- 39:41SPEAKER_05: And because it's energy medicine, it does that very quickly.
- 39:44SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 39:45SPEAKER_05: Any other questions you think people might have about homeopathy or the remedies?
- 39:52SPEAKER_05: How can they learn more?
- 39:53SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so literally I was gonna say, how can we, how can they find their remedy that they need?
- 39:59SPEAKER_05: Yeah, I would say hop in cocoon and send us a message, right?
- 40:02SPEAKER_05: We use the remedies in all of our programs.
- 40:05SPEAKER_05: Even our um shorter programs, we do entry-level remedies, we get a sense of what you need, we person we personalize it, we tailor it to an extent, right?
- 40:15SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 40:15SPEAKER_05: And then in our longer program that we do, we provide constitutional care, which is a game changer because then you come out of our 12-month program with a complete overhaul, not only of your mental and emotional health, but your physical health is in a completely different place as well.
- 40:30SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 40:31SPEAKER_00: And that's what I would tell you too.
- 40:32SPEAKER_00: Like I you can compare my lab results.
- 40:35SPEAKER_00: Labs pre-homopathy versus now.
- 40:38SPEAKER_00: And it is incredible, like the shifts, you know, that I'm right.
- 40:43SPEAKER_00: The tan age.
- 40:44SPEAKER_00: Correct.
- 40:44SPEAKER_01: Measurable proof.
- 40:46SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 40:47SPEAKER_03: Mm-hmm.
- 40:48SPEAKER_01: Um just just plugging, uh, a little bit of a plug.
- 40:53SPEAKER_01: We've done premium episodes on some of our really bespoke toned-in.
- 41:00SPEAKER_01: Oh, because we have a divorce lens.
- 41:02SPEAKER_01: So um check, check those out.
- 41:06SPEAKER_01: And that that will kind of like my favorite one is burnout.
- 41:12SPEAKER_01: I think every mom, every every woman going through anything, like I think you need the our burnout remedy.
- 41:18SPEAKER_01: Um, so you check that out, and that's kind of like a really gentle, easy way to kind of ease in refill the homeopathy.
- 41:27SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
- 41:28SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 41:30SPEAKER_05: You can buy remedies at like Sprouts or on Amazon, right?
- 41:34SPEAKER_05: You can buy them single potency, single remedy at a time.
- 41:36SPEAKER_05: The problem is for the layperson to know what to order, what they need.
- 41:40SPEAKER_05: Right.
- 41:40SPEAKER_05: Potency.
- 41:41SPEAKER_05: And our blends often have multiple remedies and multiple potencies in them.
- 41:45SPEAKER_05: So we know that they make a sply ash, which is controversial in and of itself, right?
- 41:50SPEAKER_05: And we know that by talking about these things, we don't belong in the mainstream.
- 41:54SPEAKER_05: Like Hahneman didn't belong in the mainstream.
- 41:56SPEAKER_05: We know what it is to feel like you don't belong.
- 41:58SPEAKER_05: We know we're practicing differently, and we are very confident that that is actually what is what we can contribute.
- 42:07SPEAKER_05: Contribute?
- 42:07SPEAKER_05: Attribute, attribute.
- 42:09SPEAKER_05: The success and the results that our women get.
- 42:12SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 42:13SPEAKER_05: What else might women want to know?
- 42:15SPEAKER_05: We've mentioned obviously it helps children immensely, right?
- 42:18SPEAKER_05: I think it's so much of the mom guilt when you're going through divorce.
- 42:21SPEAKER_05: Like to know that there's a solution is such a game changer that doesn't involve your kid having to be in therapy for the rest of their lives.
- 42:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 42:31SPEAKER_00: I think just reaching out, you know, feel free to reach out to any of us.
- 42:35SPEAKER_00: If you're in our free online community in Cocoon, you can DM any of us at any time.
- 42:39SPEAKER_00: Like just reach out and ask questions because we're here to answer them.
- 42:43SPEAKER_00: We have our own testimonials and our own stories and families.
- 42:46SPEAKER_00: And I mean, I think that's the kicker, you know, like you can have somebody sell a product and not really use it.
- 42:52SPEAKER_00: The fact that we are using it with our children partners, with ourselves and our own family on the daily.
- 42:58SPEAKER_00: You know, this isn't just something that we used and then put on a shelf.
- 43:01SPEAKER_00: Like, you know, this is it is.
- 43:04SPEAKER_00: It's a lifestyle, and I feel like I'm okay with not belonging.
- 43:07SPEAKER_00: I'm okay with not fitting in the mainstream.
- 43:09SPEAKER_00: Like I'm more than okay with all of that.
- 43:12SPEAKER_00: So I'm I'm happy to be vulnerable enough to share, you know, the testimonial, the story of myself, my daughter, you know, and the way that it's impacted our lives because it is the only thing that could have touched any of the mental health stuff that her and I were going through and also the physical.
- 43:29SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 43:30SPEAKER_01: That is a huge yeah.
- 43:32SPEAKER_01: She's so amazing.
- 43:34SPEAKER_04: All right, darlings.
- 43:37SPEAKER_04: Thanks for coming on this wild history ride with us.
- 43:40SPEAKER_04: We love you so much.
- 43:41SPEAKER_04: Peace.
