- 0:10Speaker 1: Lucy Rodin launched her cfb Lucy brand, partnering with Betches
- 0:14Speaker 1: Media and home Field Apparel. You can follow up at
- 0:18Speaker 1: cfb Lucy Lucy. Last time we had you on the Knicks.
- 0:21Speaker 1: We're getting in the way of you getting concert tickets
- 0:23Speaker 1: to the Strokes. Do we have an update on that.
- 0:27Speaker 2: I got the tickets literally like thirty seconds after we
- 0:31Speaker 2: stopped recording. I got the tickets, great price. I'm very excited.
- 0:37Speaker 2: The opener's good. I've never seen the Strokes and I've
- 0:39Speaker 2: heard they're fantastic in person, so I'm really excited. October second, everyone,
- 0:44Speaker 2: I'm busy.
- 0:44Speaker 3: Just keep mine. Don't ask me to hang out. I
- 0:47Speaker 3: got plans that.
- 0:47Speaker 4: Day hang out.
- 0:48Speaker 5: I was gonna ask you to hang out, and it's
- 0:51Speaker 5: not going to work for me. It made me think
- 0:52Speaker 5: of what my last concert is. And I used to
- 0:54Speaker 5: be like from I don't know, let's say nine years
- 0:57Speaker 5: ago to like three years ago, a regular concert go.
- 1:00Speaker 5: But I haven't really been tion. So the last concert
- 1:02Speaker 5: I went to was in London. It was the Abba,
- 1:05Speaker 5: like it was like a.
- 1:06Speaker 6: Tribute band, so Abba reunion.
- 1:07Speaker 5: It's not a reunion, it's like they do like a
- 1:10Speaker 5: digital stuff like it's all fake abba, It's all on
- 1:12Speaker 5: a screen.
- 1:13Speaker 6: That was like, but it looks like they're.
- 1:14Speaker 5: Really there, but they're not really there. And yeah, it's
- 1:17Speaker 5: kind of sad that that was my last concert. It
- 1:18Speaker 5: wasn't real people. Was there a question that's actually that's
- 1:22Speaker 5: a question that I was going to ask the rest
- 1:24Speaker 5: of you guys about your last concert was, but it
- 1:27Speaker 5: was Dead and Company.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Oh, I would never guess. I went to a concert
- 1:31Speaker 2: last week. Ll Dorado, great little indie band. They're fantastic.
- 1:34Speaker 2: I couldn't recommend enough.
- 1:35Speaker 1: What is the concert you went to with like the
- 1:37Speaker 1: most expectations and it fell flat?
- 1:39Speaker 6: Is there one for you?
- 1:41Speaker 2: That's the worst concert I've only ever been to, Like
- 1:45Speaker 2: one bad concert, I guess too. I went to the
- 1:49Speaker 2: Blink Onanity two tour where Little Wayne opened.
- 1:51Speaker 3: And you were like, this isn't feel right. It was
- 1:54Speaker 3: a really weird.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Combo because it was it was at the Forum in
- 2:00Speaker 2: La so it's a huge venue and it was like
- 2:03Speaker 2: such a mixed crowd where like half the people laughed
- 2:05Speaker 2: because they were there to see Little Wayne was the opener,
- 2:07Speaker 2: and then they did a combo of a Millie and
- 2:11Speaker 2: What's My Age Again?
- 2:12Speaker 3: And I was like, I don't know if this is working.
- 2:15Speaker 3: The concert itself was great.
- 2:17Speaker 7: Like Blinkwiny two was really really fun.
- 2:20Speaker 2: They did like a bunch of cool theatrics and the
- 2:22Speaker 2: three aliens out in the crowd and all this weird stuff.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Littl Wayne was on drugs and he was like he
- 2:28Speaker 2: was definitely I know it's shocking, yes, And he would
- 2:31Speaker 2: like pause halfway through wrapping to like hit a joint
- 2:33Speaker 2: and You're like, I like, I love this for you,
- 2:35Speaker 2: but there's no music right now because you've just stopped.
- 2:38Speaker 6: Lucy.
- 2:39Speaker 5: I went to eleven to see Lil Wayne and Drake
- 2:41Speaker 5: one time, right and you see them from like we're
- 2:44Speaker 5: on the top row whatever, and you see them in
- 2:46Speaker 5: the corner getting ready for their set.
- 2:49Speaker 4: And I've never seen somebody smoke a joint so fast
- 2:53Speaker 4: in my life.
- 2:54Speaker 3: Crazy.
- 2:54Speaker 4: And it wasn't just one.
- 2:55Speaker 6: He was like.
- 2:57Speaker 5: Done with that. One, picks up another one, hit it hits, hits, hits, hits. Okay,
- 3:01Speaker 5: I'm ready to go. And a sip from a you know,
- 3:03Speaker 5: a little styrofoam cup and now I'm ready to go.
- 3:05Speaker 5: I'm like, how is your brain capable of remembering anything
- 3:08Speaker 5: that you've written?
- 3:09Speaker 6: I was going to say allegedly, but I guess I
- 3:10Speaker 6: don't have to now. I mean, oh he did.
- 3:14Speaker 3: It was on stage. Everybody saw it. Concert. I went
- 3:17Speaker 3: to Bob Dylan terrible, I mean the worst.
- 3:21Speaker 2: I went because I like, I'm this is going to
- 3:24Speaker 2: like trigger PTSD for me. But I went because I
- 3:26Speaker 2: thought he was dead. And so I saw that he
- 3:28Speaker 2: was playing and I thought, oh my god, he's not dead.
- 3:31Speaker 3: I definitely have to go because he's.
- 3:33Speaker 7: Probably gonna die soon.
- 3:34Speaker 2: Because I thought he was dead, and I went. I
- 3:37Speaker 2: knew one song, which was more than anybody else there.
- 3:41Speaker 2: He would like, go, you had to turn your phone in.
- 3:43Speaker 2: He would just sing the craziest song and then sing
- 3:48Speaker 2: the next one. And then I was like, okay, this
- 3:50Speaker 2: guy just like doesn't have it and people would like
- 3:52Speaker 2: yell out request and he just wasn't having it, having
- 3:55Speaker 2: any of it. And then it's over and I get
- 3:57Speaker 2: up to leave, and everybody's sitting there chaining encore and I,
- 4:00Speaker 2: you guys are the dumbest people alive.
- 4:02Speaker 3: He's going to play another song for you.
- 4:04Speaker 2: He was unhappy to play any single song for you
- 4:07Speaker 2: up until this point. So I stood at the corner
- 4:09Speaker 2: and I watched them all like collectively realized like, ah,
- 4:11Speaker 2: he's not coming back out, this is done.
- 4:13Speaker 6: Well, he's dead.
- 4:14Speaker 1: I'll get to Mikeya, So what happens there. I'll get
- 4:17Speaker 1: to Mikeya in a second. Are you walking around asking people? Hey,
- 4:20Speaker 1: is that the real Bob Dylan?
- 4:22Speaker 8: Like?
- 4:22Speaker 6: When did you realize it?
- 4:24Speaker 7: I was using like a tape.
- 4:25Speaker 2: So I normally when I if I like find concerts
- 4:29Speaker 2: because I like a lot of older music and they're
- 4:31Speaker 2: not on Instagram, so I will just scroll like a
- 4:34Speaker 2: ticketing app. And I was like, Bob Dylan, is it
- 4:38Speaker 2: a tribute thing?
- 4:40Speaker 3: He was dead?
- 4:41Speaker 2: So then I googled it and I was like, I
- 4:43Speaker 2: cannot believe he's still kicking. Obviously I have to go
- 4:47Speaker 2: because I didn't think he was alive. This is a miracle.
- 4:51Speaker 2: And then I was like, man, that was kind of
- 4:52Speaker 2: a waste of a Saturday night.
- 4:54Speaker 8: Can I ask you guys a question? Yeah, what is
- 4:57Speaker 8: the point of a tribute band? Because Stu, you're you're
- 5:00Speaker 8: a big tribute band guy, the Dark Star.
- 5:03Speaker 6: The Orchestra, DSO, Yeah.
- 5:05Speaker 8: What What's what's the appeal to a tribute band?
- 5:08Speaker 6: For me?
- 5:08Speaker 1: DSO sounds more like the Grateful Dead than Dead in Company.
- 5:11Speaker 1: It's the closest thing I've ever heard to the actual
- 5:14Speaker 1: to the actual band.
- 5:15Speaker 5: Well, it does make sense, right, because you're a cover band,
- 5:17Speaker 5: you're trying to sound exactly like that band. If you're
- 5:20Speaker 5: the band itself, you're out there like I'm change just
- 5:22Speaker 5: to my song. I like updated a little bit. I
- 5:24Speaker 5: don't want to hear that.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Yeah, Meyer's trying to put his own little twist on
- 5:27Speaker 1: some of these songs, which I don't mind. By the way,
- 5:29Speaker 1: He's fantastic and I love Dead in Company. What Dark
- 5:32Speaker 1: Star does is they sound exactly if you close your eyes.
- 5:35Speaker 1: It's like listening to the Grateful Dead. They're fantastic and Taylor,
- 5:39Speaker 1: there's nothing I could do. The members of the Dead
- 5:41Speaker 1: are dead.
- 5:44Speaker 3: Have you checked the ticketing out? Maybe they're not right,
- 5:46Speaker 3: You're right.
- 5:47Speaker 6: Maybe the art still a lot.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Mikey, you perked up there when I asked Lucy about
- 5:51Speaker 1: a concert that fell flat.
- 5:52Speaker 6: What happened?
- 5:54Speaker 9: No, my father in law has season passes to this
- 5:58Speaker 9: amphitheater down the road, and he never wants to go,
- 6:01Speaker 9: so he's always giving me tickets. So I'm always seeing
- 6:04Speaker 9: bands that There was just no reason I would ever
- 6:06Speaker 9: go see and then like, I saw Toto twice and
- 6:11Speaker 9: they're awesome, and then I was like, oh, Counting Crows,
- 6:14Speaker 9: I used to love them. That was the worst concert
- 6:17Speaker 9: experience I've ever had in my life.
- 6:19Speaker 6: They are so bad.
- 6:22Speaker 9: They see their big music, right, mister Jones, they hate
- 6:27Speaker 9: that song. So he sings it like the third song,
- 6:32Speaker 9: and he and he kind of just kind of like
- 6:34Speaker 9: mister Jones and me, yeah yeah, no, no, no, no
- 6:39Speaker 9: no no, make it sound like the damn album.
- 6:41Speaker 1: That's right, yep, yeap. Otherwise I'm leaving. You should have left.
- 6:44Speaker 1: I mean, Jesus, It's all about expectations, though, right, Lucy.
- 6:48Speaker 1: It's all about the expectation you have going into that concert.
- 6:50Speaker 1: He had lofty expectations for Counting Crows and they fell flat.
- 6:54Speaker 1: What was the band that was great?
- 6:57Speaker 6: Toto use and I thought they were gonna suck going
- 7:01Speaker 6: in right, Yeah, yep, Mikey.
- 7:04Speaker 8: I also took you to that Coldplay concert last summer,
- 7:08Speaker 8: you did when they put us on the jumbo tronk.
- 7:13Speaker 1: You guys are on the jumbo Try a cold Play concert.
- 7:15Speaker 1: I gotta tell you, I want to Coldplay. That thing
- 7:17Speaker 1: starts way too late. I mean, they don't start to
- 7:19Speaker 1: like ten pm. It's insane, Hey dad?
- 7:21Speaker 6: Yeah? Right?
- 7:23Speaker 1: And how do you feel about a guy just kind
- 7:25Speaker 1: of going through the motions during the song that is
- 7:28Speaker 1: his most popular song?
- 7:29Speaker 6: I hate that too.
- 7:31Speaker 2: That makes me sad, Like I feel like if you
- 7:34Speaker 2: and like that album was like amazing you and it's
- 7:37Speaker 2: your entire career.
- 7:38Speaker 7: You just have to do it. You just have to
- 7:40Speaker 7: do it.
- 7:40Speaker 2: I watched his little HBO music box too, and so
- 7:43Speaker 2: he seems like his life was getting better.
- 7:45Speaker 3: I guess not.
- 7:47Speaker 8: How do you guys feel about on Spotify the concerts
- 7:52Speaker 8: that you could like listen back to? Like, I feel
- 7:54Speaker 8: like I would never listen to I'd rather listen to
- 7:56Speaker 8: like the studio version. No, you like listening to the
- 8:00Speaker 8: concerts back on Spotify?
- 8:02Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 8:02Speaker 2: I love it.
- 8:03Speaker 1: I mean with the band that I love, it's all
- 8:04Speaker 1: live concerts for the grateful Dad, And so that's all
- 8:06Speaker 1: I listened to, either on the re re listen app
- 8:09Speaker 1: or on Spotify. I just listened to old concerts.
- 8:11Speaker 5: Yeah, only if I went to the actual concert and
- 8:13Speaker 5: I want to relive it. But I'm not listening to
- 8:15Speaker 5: somebody else's concert experience. I just read into the music.
- 8:19Speaker 2: Lucy the Dead is the only band I think it
- 8:22Speaker 2: works for every other band. I'm like, I don't, I
- 8:24Speaker 2: don't want to hear your cute acoustics sound terrible, like
- 8:27Speaker 2: I don't and like people concert etiquette is so dead,
- 8:30Speaker 2: and I will go to concerts and people are screaming
- 8:33Speaker 2: and they're like screaming the words and it's like, hey, man,
- 8:36Speaker 2: I'm all for you singing along, but I cannot hear.
- 8:39Speaker 7: And now it is just you shrieking everywhere we go.
- 8:43Speaker 7: I've had it, Yeah, I've had it.
- 8:44Speaker 6: Yep in my ear.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Taylor just told me that Boredot Ricardo has thoughts on this.
- 8:48Speaker 1: He's making a ton of different noises.
- 8:50Speaker 8: So as I'm trying to make my point saying I
- 8:54Speaker 8: don't like listening to live concerts on Spotify, I just
- 8:58Speaker 8: hear to my left, come to the mic and say
- 9:03Speaker 8: exactly how you feel.
- 9:05Speaker 4: Stu Gott says, completely right.
- 9:07Speaker 8: If you listen to The Grateful Dead, you're listening to
- 9:09Speaker 8: a live show that they did the Allman Brothers band.
- 9:12Speaker 4: I mean a lot of these bands are actually better live.
- 9:15Speaker 4: It's gotta check out some live shows, man, there's just better.
- 9:18Speaker 5: I don't mind checking out the live show I just
- 9:21Speaker 5: don't want to listen to somebody else's experience the live show,
- 9:24Speaker 5: like I get it. You know, it sounds a little different,
- 9:27Speaker 5: but it's not the same unless you're there.
- 9:29Speaker 6: God bless football.
- 9:30Speaker 1: By the way, Lucy Rodeide is with us, Taylor. It's
- 9:36Speaker 1: all about the band, right. I want to hear Counting
- 9:38Speaker 1: Crows in the studio. I don't want to hear their
- 9:40Speaker 1: live concert with The Grateful Dead. They were much better
- 9:43Speaker 1: live than they were in studio. You know that makes sense.
- 9:46Speaker 1: You're not buying it.
- 9:48Speaker 8: This was surround the horn buyer cell. I'm selling so.
- 9:51Speaker 5: Hard, so I'm just thinking of my saddest concert experience.
- 9:54Speaker 5: I don't know if you guys want to hear it,
- 9:55Speaker 5: but I'm gonna tell it anyway. You can cut this
- 9:56Speaker 5: out if you want.
- 9:59Speaker 4: Lucy, back when I was trying to court.
- 10:02Speaker 6: What a shitty way to enter into a conversation.
- 10:05Speaker 5: Really, I think you guys are gonna get upset at
- 10:07Speaker 5: me with this for this. But back when I was
- 10:09Speaker 5: trying to court Anthony, I decided to get some John
- 10:13Speaker 5: Legend tickets and I told I told them they were
- 10:15Speaker 5: comp tickets, they weren't com tickets.
- 10:16Speaker 6: It cost me a little bit, and you told them
- 10:19Speaker 6: because you were trying to be a big shot.
- 10:20Speaker 5: Well, he didn't want to make it seem like it
- 10:22Speaker 5: was a date. So I was like, hey, let's just
- 10:24Speaker 5: go to this concert, right, and it's just like a
- 10:25Speaker 5: John legend.
- 10:26Speaker 6: It's gonna feel like a date regardless.
- 10:27Speaker 5: And so we get there and we got these basically
- 10:30Speaker 5: floor seats, but they put chairs down right because everybody's
- 10:32Speaker 5: not up and dancing, and it's like third, fourth or
- 10:34Speaker 5: fifth row, and I'm like, wow, he's amazing seats. I
- 10:36Speaker 5: didn't even know I got these great seats. And then
- 10:38Speaker 5: I think that whole conversation, that whole thought process is
- 10:40Speaker 5: like is this a date? This is not a date
- 10:42Speaker 5: was going through AJ's head and that's why, like he
- 10:44Speaker 5: was very confused and things are like not going well
- 10:46Speaker 5: in his head at the moment. So we went out
- 10:48Speaker 5: and had a talk Stu. That talk lasted ninety minutes.
- 10:51Speaker 5: When we got back in, he was on his last
- 10:53Speaker 5: song right before the encore, jeez, and I'm like, couldn't
- 10:55Speaker 5: we have this talk at another time? Like the concert's
- 10:58Speaker 5: happening without us. I'm sure are loving our seats that
- 11:01Speaker 5: they're taken from us. Because we've been gone for ninety
- 11:03Speaker 5: minutes and the only thing going through my head this
- 11:06Speaker 5: whole time was, damn it, you think this concert was free.
- 11:09Speaker 5: That's why you're talking out here because you think this
- 11:11Speaker 5: concert was.
- 11:12Speaker 6: And in fairness to Anthony, he did think it was free. Exactly.
- 11:15Speaker 5: I screwed up and that was my John Legend concert experience.
- 11:18Speaker 5: I got two songs. It's a great story.
- 11:20Speaker 6: We'll keep it in. By the way, Lucy is shocked
- 11:22Speaker 6: by this. What's going on? Lucy?
- 11:23Speaker 7: Did you could you hear what he was singing?
- 11:26Speaker 2: Like when you guys were having your conversation, Like, is
- 11:28Speaker 2: it one of those things where you heard everyone else
- 11:30Speaker 2: having fun without you?
- 11:31Speaker 5: At the Cassea Center, they have this one like balcony section,
- 11:33Speaker 5: so you can go out to the to the concourse
- 11:35Speaker 5: and then you go outside to this balcony area. Couldn't
- 11:37Speaker 5: hear a thing that was going on inside?
- 11:42Speaker 6: Lucy?
- 11:42Speaker 1: You're a big Knicks fan now, because you know you
- 11:45Speaker 1: get caught up at all the all the emotions of
- 11:47Speaker 1: the NIXT winning an NBA championship is the same thing
- 11:50Speaker 1: happening to you with USA soccer.
- 11:54Speaker 3: No, okay, So here's the thing.
- 11:57Speaker 2: I went to the Norway Sinegal game awesome, so fun.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Love what Norway's got going on. There are some really
- 12:06Speaker 2: cool party people. I would like to spend more time
- 12:08Speaker 2: with them. I am watching, but I am reaching this
- 12:12Speaker 2: issue where it's like the rules of a card game,
- 12:16Speaker 2: where like you explain it to me, I'm just not
- 12:17Speaker 2: going to get it, Like it doesn't matter how many
- 12:19Speaker 2: times you explain this card game to me.
- 12:21Speaker 7: That's what's happening to me with off sides.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Everyone is explaining off side to me over and over
- 12:26Speaker 2: and over again, and I just cannot get it.
- 12:28Speaker 3: And I've accepted it's.
- 12:29Speaker 7: Just not for me to know because I don't.
- 12:31Speaker 2: I like, watch the game, the US game last night,
- 12:34Speaker 2: every goal off side, I'm like, I don't know what
- 12:36Speaker 2: any of this means, Like I don't know what's going on,
- 12:39Speaker 2: and I'm watching every explaining their video on the internet
- 12:41Speaker 2: trying to tell me what off sides is, and I
- 12:43Speaker 2: just can't get it.
- 12:44Speaker 3: Like, I don't get it.
- 12:45Speaker 4: Var is the most annoying thing in the world.
- 12:47Speaker 5: You can't even celebrate a goal until they actually amazing.
- 12:51Speaker 1: Yes, let me explain to you what off sides is.
- 12:53Speaker 1: If it's fun, it's off side.
- 12:56Speaker 6: Yeah, that's what it feels like.
- 12:57Speaker 3: I'm celebrating every goal.
- 12:59Speaker 2: I'm so and then immediately they're like, you need to
- 13:02Speaker 2: slow down, do not enjoy this, And I just and
- 13:05Speaker 2: I just like wish I understood, and I'm.
- 13:08Speaker 7: Trying so hard to learn, and it's been very frustrating.
- 13:11Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 13:11Speaker 1: What I don't like is there's too much acting, too
- 13:13Speaker 1: much flopping, too much gamesmanship. It's like I don't know
- 13:15Speaker 1: what's what's real and what's not real. I don't know
- 13:18Speaker 1: if a guy's injured or not injured.
- 13:19Speaker 6: I have no idea.
- 13:20Speaker 5: I was gonna say it, ballagoon? Is that how you
- 13:22Speaker 5: pronounce his name? I think it so such a flopper
- 13:24Speaker 5: that dude like that dude goes to grahamd like immediately
- 13:27Speaker 5: and I'm just like, Okay, he clearly knows it, learned
- 13:29Speaker 5: to play overseas well.
- 13:30Speaker 6: You'll get a game off. He won't be flopping the
- 13:31Speaker 6: next one. Yeah.
- 13:32Speaker 8: Yeah, So I come from an American football background, played
- 13:36Speaker 8: in college, you know, grew up playing football. I was
- 13:40Speaker 8: in your guy's side, saying they flopped too much, it's
- 13:42Speaker 8: too dramatic. Then when I met Chris Whittingham, he asked
- 13:45Speaker 8: me if I wanted to go out and play soccer
- 13:47Speaker 8: with him. I'm like, I've never really played soccer, but
- 13:49Speaker 8: sure I'll get some cardio.
- 13:50Speaker 6: Do this.
- 13:52Speaker 8: Somebody just made contact with my shin and it felt
- 13:55Speaker 8: like I got shot right and I'm rolling on the
- 13:58Speaker 8: ground and when he's like, hey man, okay, I go.
- 14:05Speaker 5: That is the most painful as somebody who has hit
- 14:08Speaker 5: his shin against all kinds of things. More recently, when
- 14:12Speaker 5: I was drinking in New York one time and I
- 14:14Speaker 5: was like I had bought some street meat, walked to
- 14:16Speaker 5: the back of the truck and slammed my shin.
- 14:19Speaker 4: Against the hitch.
- 14:20Speaker 6: Oh my god.
- 14:21Speaker 5: That was so painful and the scar remains. It is
- 14:24Speaker 5: probably the most painful place on the body to get hit,
- 14:26Speaker 5: So that I'll give.
- 14:27Speaker 6: You that's a dangerous game. Is he which one street meat? Yes?
- 14:31Speaker 1: Yes, the shin there's no protection, there's no meat there
- 14:35Speaker 1: right bone.
- 14:37Speaker 5: It's funny too, because the part of your leg where
- 14:39Speaker 5: it's like the bone is wide and like that's where
- 14:41Speaker 5: you're supposed to kick people, because you don't feel anything
- 14:44Speaker 5: if you hit somebody, If you hit your shin straight on,
- 14:46Speaker 5: it's the most painful thing in the world.
- 14:48Speaker 6: Lucy Tell me about street meet. Why should we be
- 14:50Speaker 6: careful what I just said?
- 14:53Speaker 5: Tell me about street meat and why should we be
- 14:55Speaker 5: careful with it?
- 14:57Speaker 2: It's well, I think street meat is either the best
- 15:01Speaker 2: thing you've ever had, or it's gonna make you sick,
- 15:03Speaker 2: Like there's no I've never had it in between yeah,
- 15:06Speaker 2: or both, Like it's never. It's never something casual, like
- 15:10Speaker 2: you'll never just like, oh, I'm casually gonna get this
- 15:12Speaker 2: this street meet or this like kebab place or whatever,
- 15:15Speaker 2: and it'll never. It's always going to ruin your life
- 15:19Speaker 2: or make your life. And then you'll go back and
- 15:20Speaker 2: it's never going to be as good the second time.
- 15:22Speaker 2: It's like you have to go in with you understand.
- 15:24Speaker 2: This is a fleeting experience. This is like, Hey, I'm practicing,
- 15:27Speaker 2: I'm practicing mindfulness, I'm living in the moment.
- 15:30Speaker 5: This street meat such a great point. It's either micheline
- 15:33Speaker 5: quality or in the trash.
- 15:35Speaker 3: It's and it's never and there's never an in between.
- 15:38Speaker 8: The nuts for nut cart the best smelling carts in
- 15:42Speaker 8: all of New York City.
- 15:43Speaker 6: Hard to walk past.
- 15:44Speaker 8: This smell is to die for.
- 15:45Speaker 2: Yes, dangerous to say that there's one right by my
- 15:47Speaker 2: apartment every time I walk by life.
- 15:50Speaker 5: If you get close enough to those things, they stink, right?
- 15:53Speaker 5: Is it like you have to be a good distance
- 15:54Speaker 5: away so you can get the good smell?
- 15:56Speaker 6: You need the aroma?
- 15:57Speaker 1: Like, yes, you need to be No, I think as
- 15:59Speaker 1: you get closer, does it smell nearly as I guess
- 16:02Speaker 1: he's right about this?
- 16:03Speaker 4: Yeah, Well it's it's like.
- 16:04Speaker 2: The it's like the cartoon where it's like a pie
- 16:06Speaker 2: in the windowsill where like.
- 16:08Speaker 7: You like get that, you have to like fly to it.
- 16:10Speaker 3: That's how he gets you.

- 17:40Speaker 6: I am told we have a lot for you today.
- 17:43Speaker 3: Yes, I have props.
- 17:44Speaker 2: So, speaking of World Cup, I gave my stress ball
- 17:46Speaker 2: to my friend who is from Paraguay, and I went
- 17:49Speaker 2: watch the game with her and she broke it.
- 17:51Speaker 3: She like completely, it's ripped in half. It was worth it.
- 17:55Speaker 2: So we have a new Lucy is gonna be this
- 17:57Speaker 2: little mini basketball, okay, and then Goosey is gonna be
- 18:01Speaker 2: this razorback nose.
- 18:04Speaker 4: Put it on everything.
- 18:06Speaker 3: No, it really hurts.
- 18:07Speaker 2: It's like cut in a way that it like digs
- 18:11Speaker 2: into your skin.
- 18:12Speaker 3: It does.
- 18:12Speaker 7: It's not an efficient model, but I did keep it.
- 18:14Speaker 1: Okay, she put it on once for us. All right,
- 18:18Speaker 1: Mikey take it away. Here we go, Lucy or Goosey.
- 18:22Speaker 9: All right, Lucy or Goosey. Red cards are worse for
- 18:26Speaker 9: their sport than targeting calls are for theirs.
- 18:29Speaker 6: Wow, good one.
- 18:31Speaker 3: That's such a good question. I'm gonna go I'm gonna go.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Lucy that it is worse because one, I don't I'm
- 18:39Speaker 2: not super familiar with soccer, but they only had to
- 18:42Speaker 2: They had ten players the rest of the game. Like
- 18:44Speaker 2: at least targeting you just sub in another guy, maybe
- 18:48Speaker 2: he's bad, and it feels like ten players.
- 18:49Speaker 7: But that seems crazy.
- 18:51Speaker 2: It seems crazy that you're like, no, you don't even
- 18:53Speaker 2: get a replacement. You just have to play with one
- 18:55Speaker 2: less guy, and that one specifically as a soccer fan,
- 18:59Speaker 2: for like eight days now, I was like, I've never
- 19:02Speaker 2: seen a call dispatch same.
- 19:04Speaker 3: I have never seen one this way.
- 19:05Speaker 4: It did not happen a review.
- 19:08Speaker 7: It was crazy, And so I'm gonna go Lucy on it.
- 19:10Speaker 2: Because target I think targeting is like a it's a
- 19:13Speaker 2: rule that needs to be changed in a lot of ways.
- 19:15Speaker 7: But at least you get another guy to.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Come back in and you can play the next game.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Right with targeting, Yeah, we're.
- 19:21Speaker 3: Not in college football.
- 19:22Speaker 2: It's like a it depends on when it happens.
- 19:26Speaker 8: Half, right, we should get Balligain back for the second
- 19:29Speaker 8: half of the I agree.
- 19:30Speaker 7: Yeah, I think yeah, I think that's fair.
- 19:32Speaker 6: Ye.
- 19:33Speaker 1: So I love that we're trying to change soccer. We
- 19:35Speaker 1: just started paying attention to it a week ago.
- 19:37Speaker 4: That's what we do.
- 19:38Speaker 6: Yep, were the worst go ahead Mike yet uh.
- 19:42Speaker 10: Lucy or goosey, Brian Kelly will coach again?
- 19:47Speaker 2: Just in general, I mean, I mean technically he has
- 19:52Speaker 2: like in a like a assistant to the coach type
- 19:56Speaker 2: of gig at Memphis.
- 19:57Speaker 6: We'll call it head coach, we'll call it.
- 19:59Speaker 7: Will he be a coach again?
- 20:02Speaker 2: I'm gonna go I'm gonna go goosey on this one
- 20:05Speaker 2: because if he weren't able to get anything better than
- 20:10Speaker 2: a CBS in studio gig and like being a you know,
- 20:15Speaker 2: consultant for Memphis football, that's a crazy damning sign for
- 20:21Speaker 2: him that like you couldn't even get something.
- 20:23Speaker 7: Better after leaving the LSU job.
- 20:26Speaker 2: I just think that his personality is so off putting
- 20:30Speaker 2: that there's nothing he can.
- 20:31Speaker 7: Work with here.
- 20:32Speaker 2: Like, you can be bad at your job and have
- 20:33Speaker 2: a good personality and you'll get a little bit further.
- 20:35Speaker 3: And he's bad at his job and has a bad personality.
- 20:38Speaker 4: So it's tough.
- 20:40Speaker 6: Double whammy. Go ahead, Mike, Lucy or Goosey.
- 20:45Speaker 9: Travis Kelcey should change the name on the back of
- 20:47Speaker 9: his jersey this year to say Swift.
- 20:50Speaker 1: Oh god, it would be the number one selling jersey
- 20:52Speaker 1: anywhere in sports.
- 20:53Speaker 2: Lucy, I'm I'm going to say Lucy simply because I'm
- 20:57Speaker 2: a feminist and I think that all men should take
- 21:00Speaker 2: the last name of their wives. I think that's important.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Do you have a little bit of a bone to
- 21:06Speaker 2: pick with them? It is insane that a holiday weekend
- 21:09Speaker 2: in New York they just get to shut down part
- 21:11Speaker 2: of mid Town.
- 21:13Speaker 6: Yes, it's unbelievable, Lucy.
- 21:14Speaker 5: If you're taking if you're keeping your own name, or
- 21:17Speaker 5: aren't you just taking your mother's father's name.
- 21:19Speaker 4: Isn't it just another man's name? You're taking your key.
- 21:22Speaker 2: So I think everyone should start from scratch, choose your lesson.
- 21:25Speaker 6: I'd love to do that.
- 21:26Speaker 3: Yes, I'm telling you, not making the cuss. You're done.
- 21:31Speaker 6: Yep. Same with Wiener.
- 21:33Speaker 3: Yeh, we're starting over.
- 21:34Speaker 2: Everyone picks their last name, the woman picks, and the
- 21:37Speaker 2: man can take the woman's last name or have no
- 21:39Speaker 2: last name.
- 21:40Speaker 3: If you two options.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Wait, kelsey jersey if it's T dot swift, because it
- 21:45Speaker 1: could be, it'd be accurate.
- 21:47Speaker 6: That would be the number one selling jersey in sports, right.
- 21:49Speaker 3: You know what, that's a that's a good move.
- 21:51Speaker 2: If it depends on what his like, how much does
- 21:54Speaker 2: he get off that like if he's if he gets
- 21:56Speaker 2: a really good percentage?
- 21:57Speaker 4: Yeah, absolutely.
- 21:58Speaker 6: If the jersey said she's.
- 21:59Speaker 7: A billy in here, she's always looking for more cash,
- 22:01Speaker 7: she'll be So.
- 22:04Speaker 4: He's technically the number one swifty now, so he could
- 22:06Speaker 4: put that on his.
- 22:07Speaker 6: Jersey change number thirteen. Yes, yep, go ahead, like, oh boy,
- 22:14Speaker 6: all right? Uh what happened, Lucy? He was so deep.
- 22:22Speaker 9: We were going to discuss this more.
- 22:23Speaker 6: Well we did. I mean, we got to keep her moving,
- 22:26Speaker 6: you know, Lucy or Goosey.
- 22:28Speaker 9: If the World Cup went up against college football, we
- 22:31Speaker 9: wouldn't care about which World Cup.
- 22:36Speaker 2: I am going to Goosey. We would still care, but
- 22:41Speaker 2: not as much. Yes, like we would definitely still care
- 22:44Speaker 2: having all of this, Like there's been so much cool
- 22:47Speaker 2: stuff outside of the World Cup, like the actual games
- 22:50Speaker 2: themselves of like all like fake Freddy traveling around, here's
- 22:55Speaker 2: a real person and all these Like the Japanese in
- 22:58Speaker 2: Dallas has been like the most wonderful experience of my
- 23:01Speaker 2: life just to see how happy they are to be
- 23:04Speaker 2: in Dallas. So there's been so much like extra cool
- 23:06Speaker 2: stuff that has become a part of it that I
- 23:08Speaker 2: think we would still care about the World Cup. But
- 23:10Speaker 2: if this were going up against like American football season, yeah,
- 23:13Speaker 2: obviously we'd care less. Like this would not be on Fox.
- 23:15Speaker 2: You'd get the FS one slot for sure.
- 23:18Speaker 5: Lucy, I knew Freddy was fake from the very first
- 23:20Speaker 5: tweet I saw. I knew there was disingenuous stuff going
- 23:23Speaker 5: on there.
- 23:25Speaker 3: I feel embarrassed that.
- 23:26Speaker 2: Originally I was like, oh my god, this is the
- 23:27Speaker 2: most amazing thing I've seen, and then like three tweets in,
- 23:29Speaker 2: I was like, all right, why.
- 23:33Speaker 7: Aren't you showing your face?
- 23:36Speaker 4: I'm with you doing that.
- 23:37Speaker 1: I am with you on the Kelseys, by the way,
- 23:39Speaker 1: doing this on the fourth of July weekend.
- 23:41Speaker 2: I mean, the audacity you just shut down part of Manhattan.
- 23:45Speaker 2: That's insane for like, that's crazy that and like they're
- 23:51Speaker 2: gonna have to have NYPD.
- 23:52Speaker 7: There are you paying for that? Like not to be
- 23:56Speaker 7: my dad?
- 23:56Speaker 3: But that is not what my tax dollars are.
- 24:01Speaker 8: Until you could beat Victor webbin Yama in five games,
- 24:03Speaker 8: you're ringing the garden doesn't count to me.
- 24:05Speaker 6: Tell us.
- 24:09Speaker 5: You imagine if the Giants or the Jets are like
- 24:11Speaker 5: an actual rival of the Chiefs, they wouldn't allow that
- 24:13Speaker 5: to happen in their city.
- 24:15Speaker 7: No, it's crazy.
- 24:17Speaker 3: It's crazy.
- 24:17Speaker 2: Also, she showed up to the Cavs Snick series and
- 24:20Speaker 2: was like, court side with Travis, you gotta pick a side,
- 24:23Speaker 2: pick aside?
- 24:24Speaker 6: Right Wait?
- 24:25Speaker 1: She went to a Cleveland game courtz eye with Travis,
- 24:27Speaker 1: then went to a Nick game without Travis right side. Yes, yea,
- 24:31Speaker 1: Mikey you lost in the conversation again.
- 24:33Speaker 6: Or nope, I'm good boy, good all right?
- 24:37Speaker 9: Lucy or Goosey Country Roads is our national sports anthem?
- 24:41Speaker 2: Why, I I don't know what else it would be,
- 24:45Speaker 2: So I'm gonna go Lucy.
- 24:46Speaker 3: I love when they play it.
- 24:47Speaker 2: Here's my West Virginia. What I love is they obviously
- 24:51Speaker 2: that's their song. They only play it after they win.
- 24:53Speaker 2: If they lose, they don't get to sing the song,
- 24:55Speaker 2: and I think that is very special.
- 24:57Speaker 3: And I like that they have the discernment.
- 24:59Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 25:00Speaker 2: It also would be because all the songs that are like,
- 25:02Speaker 2: you know, the USA pro America are actually pretty anti America, and.
- 25:09Speaker 3: So they're like, oh, we probably can't.
- 25:10Speaker 2: We probably can't play Born in USA or Pink Houses,
- 25:13Speaker 2: like it's just not actually the message we've won.
- 25:15Speaker 5: I just don't like the songs that are specifically about
- 25:17Speaker 5: one place, like Okay, Alabama, I get it. This played
- 25:20Speaker 5: West Virginia. I get it doesn't represent all of us, don't.
- 25:23Speaker 5: I've never been to this portion of West Virginia.
- 25:24Speaker 6: Virginia represents barely any of us, right.
- 25:27Speaker 4: Brandon Us, Jason Williams, you got more, That's.
- 25:31Speaker 6: All I got. Bob Huggins, Oh.
- 25:33Speaker 4: Wait, Jerry West.
- 25:35Speaker 8: I took a college visit to West Virginia, and when
- 25:38Speaker 8: I was in high school, I got there for a
- 25:40Speaker 8: football game and they won, and then after the game
- 25:43Speaker 8: they started like burning the couches, and I looked at
- 25:45Speaker 8: my parents and I was like, it's probably not the
- 25:47Speaker 8: school for me.
- 25:49Speaker 4: That was my cue three couches anymore.
- 25:52Speaker 8: They're not allowed to.
- 25:54Speaker 2: No, they made it illegal because they're like, we this
- 25:56Speaker 2: is insane. But they're not like you can't like say, hey,
- 26:00Speaker 2: it's illegal to burn a couch. So they're like, if
- 26:02Speaker 2: it's a game day weekend and you have a couch outside,
- 26:04Speaker 2: we're taking it week.
- 26:08Speaker 3: It's a weird place.
- 26:09Speaker 8: It was a situation where I think it scared high
- 26:11Speaker 8: school me, but college me would have loved that experience.
- 26:16Speaker 4: I don't need big fires to celebrate anything.
- 26:18Speaker 6: Then well, I mean I love a good fire, fire
- 26:22Speaker 6: works fire up at joint.
- 26:24Speaker 9: Mikey a Well, speaking of college, Taylor Lucy or Goosey,
- 26:29Speaker 9: Bill Belichick won't be coaching at North Carolina in twenty twenty.
- 26:34Speaker 6: Valad Tail would be so happy.
- 26:35Speaker 2: I'm I'm gonna go I don't know his buyout off
- 26:37Speaker 2: the top of my head, but I'm gonna.
- 26:39Speaker 7: Say, Lucy, he won't be coaching.
- 26:41Speaker 6: Wow.
- 26:43Speaker 3: Here's the thing. Here's the thing.
- 26:45Speaker 7: Carolina I think has reached the point where.
- 26:47Speaker 3: Like, this was a bad idea. I think they know.
- 26:50Speaker 2: I think they're very aware of bad idea. He's reached
- 26:52Speaker 2: the point where he's like, this is a bad idea.
- 26:54Speaker 2: He does not want to be there. Yes, eventually they'll
- 26:58Speaker 2: there will be something, maybe he takes the Brian Kelly
- 27:02Speaker 2: Memphis assistant.
- 27:03Speaker 3: Job or whatever.
- 27:04Speaker 2: But it is everyone is unhappy in a way that
- 27:08Speaker 2: and they're trying to pretend to be happy right now.
- 27:10Speaker 3: It just depends on how much that buyout is.
- 27:12Speaker 7: I'm sure it's probably way too high.
- 27:13Speaker 3: Carolina.
- 27:14Speaker 2: That entire contract was just one of the dumbest things
- 27:16Speaker 2: I have ever seen from an administration. But I just
- 27:20Speaker 2: don't think it lasts much longer. I don't think they
- 27:21Speaker 2: have a good year. I think that it becomes a
- 27:24Speaker 2: point where I think he does the math of like
- 27:26Speaker 2: this is only going to get worse and it's only
- 27:28Speaker 2: going to make things more difficult for me.
- 27:30Speaker 5: Zach Taylor has a terrible season with the Bengals, and
- 27:33Speaker 5: then Bill Belichick gets hired and he can say I'm
- 27:35Speaker 5: onto Cincinnati.
- 27:36Speaker 2: Yep, yes, yes, that's all he's ever wanted, and he's
- 27:40Speaker 2: the only thing in his entire life right now that
- 27:42Speaker 2: he wants. He would give up the girlfriend for that.
- 27:45Speaker 8: I didn't even want to put this into the universe
- 27:48Speaker 8: because I think this is exactly how it plays out.
- 27:50Speaker 8: I think Bill Belichick is gone after this year, and
- 27:53Speaker 8: I think we already mentioned the replacement because it's a
- 27:56Speaker 8: perfect Carolina guy that they wind up falling in love
- 27:58Speaker 8: with the second he come in for one meeting. Brian Kelly,
- 28:03Speaker 8: it's it's the carolinaow.
- 28:06Speaker 3: You know what I changed my answer.
- 28:07Speaker 4: You're absolutely.
- 28:10Speaker 6: Well that's never happened before.
- 28:14Speaker 2: I am Lucy now on Brian Kelly getting another job,
- 28:16Speaker 2: because that is you said it, and I was like
- 28:19Speaker 2: the stars a.
- 28:20Speaker 6: Lot moment I saw it.
- 28:23Speaker 2: Yes, dude, you gotta put that take you got, you
- 28:27Speaker 2: gotta put that on TikTok.
- 28:28Speaker 6: I'm telling you right now, So put it on TikTok.
- 28:31Speaker 6: One last one for you here, Lucy, go ahead, Mike.
- 28:33Speaker 9: Uh yeah. This one comes to me from a little Birdie,
- 28:37Speaker 9: uh Lucy or Goosey asking someone to go to their
- 28:40Speaker 9: dad's phone to Venmo money to that person and Taylor
- 28:44Speaker 9: Lucy or Goosey.
- 28:45Speaker 6: To buy drinks.
- 28:48Speaker 7: Oh I did that.
- 28:50Speaker 2: I did that, and I would do it again. I
- 28:52Speaker 2: have no regrets for my actions. I would do it
- 28:54Speaker 2: a thousand times over. And I was upset not to
- 28:57Speaker 2: get a Vemo. It's a little upset by it. This
- 29:00Speaker 2: my concert tickets.
- 29:01Speaker 1: Yes, little did you know that mikey A and Rachel
- 29:03Speaker 1: have a very close relationship. They speak almost every single day,
