- 1:28Speaker 1: Everybody, welcome to the show. Eddie boy. We're all in
- 1:31Speaker 1: different places. Kevin's on a zoom, Abby's on the phone.
- 1:36Speaker 1: We got Abby on because she went to Denver for
- 1:38Speaker 1: the Patriots and Broncos. Abby. How you doing.
- 1:43Speaker 3: I'm good? Okay, well pretty good until the end. You
- 1:47Speaker 3: know the game.
- 1:48Speaker 1: So before we talk about the game, how did you
- 1:50Speaker 1: get home?
- 1:51Speaker 3: I actually made it back last night after the game?
- 1:54Speaker 3: How crazy is that? Which added like extra stress after
- 1:57Speaker 3: the games? I thought for sure it would be like canceled,
- 2:00Speaker 3: but then we're like stuck in traffic rushing to the airport.
- 2:03Speaker 3: But I made it.
- 2:04Speaker 1: So you got to the airport, you flew home. But
- 2:06Speaker 1: how was the drive home after the airport?
- 2:09Speaker 4: Oh?
- 2:09Speaker 3: It was rough. So my fiance came to pick me
- 2:12Speaker 3: up in his truck and he was going like super
- 2:14Speaker 3: super slow. But luckily no one was out on the road. Yeah,
- 2:17Speaker 3: like it was just us. Basically, I mean, there were
- 2:19Speaker 3: a few people that were like flying past us, like
- 2:21Speaker 3: what is happening? But it was solid ice, like on
- 2:24Speaker 3: the interstate.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Abby had never been to a Broncos game. She's a
- 2:26Speaker 1: big Broncos fan. First game it was the AFC Championship.
- 2:29Speaker 1: So you said you had tickets from the Broncos coach.
- 2:32Speaker 1: How how'd that work out?
- 2:36Speaker 3: Those were legit? Oh my god?
- 2:39Speaker 1: Oh did you see them?
- 2:40Speaker 5: Yeah? Did you not see that where she sat?
- 2:42Speaker 4: No?
- 2:43Speaker 1: Is it on an Instagram?
- 2:43Speaker 5: Still?
- 2:44Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 2:44Speaker 5: I do, she was right there.
- 2:45Speaker 1: Okay, So Abby, how did you know Sean Payton? How'd
- 2:47Speaker 1: your friend know Sean Payton?
- 2:49Speaker 3: So she's known She's from Denver, so she's known him
- 2:53Speaker 3: for a long time and like when he was the
- 2:55Speaker 3: coach of the Saints. Her son actually like did a
- 2:58Speaker 3: did an internship or something worked for him for like
- 3:00Speaker 3: two years. So I don't know, she's just known him forever.
- 3:03Speaker 5: You know her? There, I do.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm just I'm over on Abbey's Instagram story now,
- 3:08Speaker 1: And yeah, Abbey, those are good seats.
- 3:11Speaker 3: They're amazing. We got to see that one touchdown like
- 3:15Speaker 3: right there.
- 3:15Speaker 1: That's cool, like the yeah, yeah, that's good. So what
- 3:20Speaker 1: was your report? Of the game experience before the game started, Like,
- 3:23Speaker 1: what did you guys do leading up to it? Since
- 3:24Speaker 1: it was your first game?
- 3:26Speaker 3: Okay, so well, we had to like prep We went
- 3:29Speaker 3: to the store and we got like foil because we
- 3:31Speaker 3: heard if you put tinfoil on your toes, like in
- 3:34Speaker 3: between your socks, it'll keep them warm, and we bought
- 3:37Speaker 3: cayenne pepper. Was got.
- 3:41Speaker 5: I saw the same video on TikTok Okay.
- 3:43Speaker 1: Did the tinfoil work?
- 3:46Speaker 3: Oh gosh, no, it didn't because as you walked, it
- 3:48Speaker 3: was like breaking apart, you know. So like I took
- 3:51Speaker 3: it off halfway through the game and it was just
- 3:52Speaker 3: like in pieces and there was like foil everywhere. So
- 3:55Speaker 3: that didn't work. We bought cayenne pepper and we were
- 3:57Speaker 3: gonna put in our socks like you said. But then
- 4:00Speaker 3: I chaty wett it right before the game and they're like, ooh,
- 4:02Speaker 3: that's probably not a good idea because you can get
- 4:04Speaker 3: like blisters and burns on your feet. And I was like,
- 4:08Speaker 3: oh god, I don't want that, Like we're gonna painful,
- 4:11Speaker 3: you know walking. I was like, I know football players
- 4:13Speaker 3: tried it, but so we didn't do that. But I
- 4:16Speaker 3: had like four layers on a ski suit.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Yeah, it was it terrible.
- 4:20Speaker 3: And then it really wasn't that bad, no, because I
- 4:23Speaker 3: was ready, like I was kind of sweating like in
- 4:26Speaker 3: the uber on the way. And then we went to
- 4:28Speaker 3: like this VIP tailgate, which was the coolest thing ever too.
- 4:31Speaker 3: I don't know if she had the hookup for that,
- 4:34Speaker 3: because she knows somebody that's like the voice of Denver Radio,
- 4:37Speaker 3: okay or something. Yeah, and iHeart and so we were
- 4:42Speaker 3: like under heaters. We got some drinks and food and
- 4:45Speaker 3: then we finally went in and the.
- 4:48Speaker 1: First half of the game was the scream was good.
- 4:50Speaker 1: Scream was clear for me. I could see the game
- 4:52Speaker 1: just fine. Yeah, it started to slowly get worse as
- 4:55Speaker 1: the weather started to pound.
- 4:56Speaker 5: It was the fourth quarter. Dude, it came out of nowhere.
- 4:58Speaker 1: Did you know that it was coming like that?
- 5:00Speaker 3: I did not.
- 5:01Speaker 4: Well.
- 5:01Speaker 3: I talked to my fiance and he's like, I think
- 5:03Speaker 3: snow's coming. I'm like, what are you talking about. There's sun,
- 5:06Speaker 3: Like it's so nice right now. And then we went
- 5:08Speaker 3: to the bathroom after halftime, came back, you know, during
- 5:11Speaker 3: the third quarter, and it started snowing, and then it
- 5:14Speaker 3: was like full on blizzard.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Did they crowd expect a full blizzard? Were most people
- 5:18Speaker 1: expecting that?
- 5:20Speaker 3: I don't think so, no, But like they were happy,
- 5:22Speaker 3: Like people were like embracing it. They're like this is awesome,
- 5:25Speaker 3: you know, like there was there was nothing we could
- 5:26Speaker 3: do about it, and we were all like bundled up.
- 5:29Speaker 3: And then there was like a Patriots fan in front
- 5:31Speaker 3: of me that just took all of his clothes off
- 5:33Speaker 3: and he just he was a bear skinned and he's
- 5:35Speaker 3: just like full on. I mean, he was very drunk.
- 5:38Speaker 3: But it was kind of funny.
- 5:40Speaker 1: After you guys lost, What was the vibe like in
- 5:42Speaker 1: the stadium.
- 5:42Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, everybody was leaving with like a minute
- 5:45Speaker 3: and a half to go, So that was sad, But people,
- 5:49Speaker 3: I don't know, like it wasn't like negative, Like we
- 5:52Speaker 3: were like, oh, we'll get him next year. And then
- 5:54Speaker 3: like people were chanting, Like the Patriots fans they started
- 5:57Speaker 3: like chanting something.
- 5:59Speaker 1: I think too somewhat expected you were going to lose
- 6:02Speaker 1: because you didn't have a quarterback, and then the weather
- 6:05Speaker 1: got so bad and then but you rate the experience
- 6:08Speaker 1: A through f oh.
- 6:09Speaker 3: Man until we lost a A plus and then like
- 6:14Speaker 3: the whole getting out because it was just everybody walking
- 6:18Speaker 3: to their cars, snow everywhere. You couldn't go anywhere. So yeah,
- 6:23Speaker 3: that was I don't know.
- 6:25Speaker 1: Well, I'm glad you were fun. Glad you got to
- 6:27Speaker 1: go to a game. Yeah, to get those seats and
- 6:29Speaker 1: to also go to that being your first game, the
- 6:31Speaker 1: AFCY Championship gameretty pretty legit. Yeah, I think you guys
- 6:34Speaker 1: may I think you could have wanted if you had
- 6:35Speaker 1: your starting quarterback for sure.
- 6:37Speaker 3: I know, no, I fully believe we would have. It
- 6:40Speaker 3: would have been a just it would have been like
- 6:43Speaker 3: twenty seven.
- 6:44Speaker 1: Zero, okay, okay, now you jump.
- 6:47Speaker 5: It would have been a better game for sure.
- 6:48Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, abby, thanks for checking.
- 6:50Speaker 5: In, Okay, thank you, all right, bye.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm surprised she got back. I'm surprised she got
- 6:55Speaker 1: back safe. I know, I'm surprisedly on the phone with
- 6:57Speaker 1: us right now.
- 6:58Speaker 5: But you're surprised you had good seats like that, Like
- 7:00Speaker 5: she's a great experience.
- 7:01Speaker 1: I know her friends.
- 7:02Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, we know her okay, And I had no
- 7:05Speaker 5: idea how she posted a picture of like, oh that's
- 7:07Speaker 5: her friend. Got it?
- 7:08Speaker 1: If I look on our Instagram, I see it. Yeah, Hey, Kevin,
- 7:11Speaker 1: So you guys won Kevin's not in studio with us.
- 7:13Speaker 1: He's at home because he liked me lost complete power.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Are you staying at somebody's house?
- 7:17Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 7:17Speaker 6: I had to drive to a or my wife had
- 7:19Speaker 6: to drive us to a house in Franklin, about thirty
- 7:22Speaker 6: minutes away from our place, so we can get some
- 7:23Speaker 6: heat and some power.
- 7:25Speaker 1: Yeah, we have babies, so yeah, that's a little bit
- 7:28Speaker 1: everything changes. That's probably pretty important. Were you able to
- 7:32Speaker 1: watch the game?
- 7:33Speaker 6: Yeah, that was the best part. I asked my friends.
- 7:35Speaker 6: I said, hey, do you guys have power? And they
- 7:36Speaker 6: said yes. And then the second question, are you guys
- 7:38Speaker 6: going to have the game on? Because we're coming over.
- 7:41Speaker 5: That's the only reason we're coming over.
- 7:44Speaker 1: So being a Patriots fan lifelong had to be pretty good,
- 7:47Speaker 1: pretty fun to watch it.
- 7:48Speaker 7: Yeah, it was. It was great.
- 7:50Speaker 6: It was a weird day obviously because of the weather,
- 7:52Speaker 6: so it's it almost like that took over so much.
- 7:55Speaker 7: But once the game started, it was great.
- 7:57Speaker 6: And like you're talking about with Abby in the second half,
- 7:59Speaker 6: as soon as that either got really ugly, I was like,
- 8:01Speaker 6: our chances are getting pretty good as long as we
- 8:04Speaker 6: can keep the ball, run the ball a little bit,
- 8:06Speaker 6: and just even just hit a field goal like we did.
- 8:08Speaker 7: I felt pretty good.
- 8:09Speaker 1: Man that into the third quarter, into the fourth quarter
- 8:13Speaker 1: when they were going, well, you got the win this quarter,
- 8:15Speaker 1: you definitely don't want to have to have it in
- 8:16Speaker 1: the fourth like that weather was so imposing.
- 8:20Speaker 6: I know, I know, and like you were talking about,
- 8:22Speaker 6: it came out of nowhere and then just kept getting
- 8:24Speaker 6: worse and worse. And as soon as they were talking
- 8:27Speaker 6: about the wind at your back and Romo kept referencing
- 8:29Speaker 6: the wind at your back, win at your back, and
- 8:31Speaker 6: they were taking advantage of it in the third quarter,
- 8:33Speaker 6: and I was like, as long as we can get
- 8:34Speaker 6: a lead and this weather keeps getting worse, I feel
- 8:37Speaker 6: like Jared Stidham and that offense just can't do anything.
- 8:40Speaker 7: And I felt pretty damn good about it.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Yeah, because Drake Man and his offense really couldn't do anything.
- 8:44Speaker 1: So Jared Stidham with that offense, yeah, there's nothing there.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Congratulations on your Patriots making the Super Bowl. That's pretty crazy, dude.
- 8:51Speaker 7: Thanks guys.
- 8:52Speaker 6: I I cill only gets hit me like I feel
- 8:55Speaker 6: like I'm either living in the past time like in
- 8:57Speaker 6: twenty ten's or I don't know. There's so much going
- 9:00Speaker 6: on in life right now with the whole naturale weather that,
- 9:02Speaker 6: I'm like, oh wait, we're going to the super Bowl.
- 9:04Speaker 6: So I don't know if it's going to hit me
- 9:06Speaker 6: today or tomorrow or win. But it's pretty awesome.
- 9:08Speaker 1: I got to watch both games, but I went out
- 9:11Speaker 1: to So I have a Hyundai Ionic nine, which is
- 9:13Speaker 1: an all electric car. It's basically a big phone charger
- 9:16Speaker 1: right now. It charges everything. It has so many ports
- 9:18Speaker 1: in it that my wife and I plug things in.
- 9:21Speaker 1: We just leave the car on in the garage because
- 9:23Speaker 1: there is no carbon monoxide.
- 9:24Speaker 5: Yeah, it's perfect.
- 9:25Speaker 1: So I get enough cell that I could watch like
- 9:28Speaker 1: eighty percent of the game before it would lag, And
- 9:31Speaker 1: so I watched all the game. I was pretty happy
- 9:34Speaker 1: about that game because it's all on your phone. Oh
- 9:37Speaker 1: there's no TV. We're totally totally no power.
- 9:40Speaker 5: That's tough. I did picture you watching all these games
- 9:44Speaker 5: on your phone. I'm like, oh my gosh, that's gotta
- 9:46Speaker 5: be so tough. On my.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Phone up on the dashboard of the car. My wife
- 9:53Speaker 1: and I sitting in both seats, just laid back into
- 9:56Speaker 1: the seats, letting everything charge and like taking any heat
- 9:59Speaker 1: that we can get.
- 10:00Speaker 5: So you fully charged your car before the power went out.
- 10:03Speaker 1: No, it only has like forty six percent. But I
- 10:06Speaker 1: googled No, I guess I wanted chatgybt and I said, hey,
- 10:09Speaker 1: how many charges can we get? And chat gybt was
- 10:11Speaker 1: like almost endless. You get four thousand charges of your phones.
- 10:14Speaker 5: Go baby.
- 10:15Speaker 1: So that's what we did. I watched the games from
- 10:16Speaker 1: inside the electric car and I don't know. We just
- 10:21Speaker 1: made do and then watched the game last night. That
- 10:24Speaker 1: was a better game, Dan.
- 10:25Speaker 5: You know what's weird though, like watching the snow game
- 10:28Speaker 5: is is I love watching snow games. Like love it.
- 10:31Speaker 5: I think it's so cool to watch just the stadium
- 10:33Speaker 5: full of snow. But when it's freezing outside and people
- 10:37Speaker 5: don't have power and it's snowing on TV, it's a
- 10:39Speaker 5: whole different experience.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Don't feel good.
- 10:41Speaker 5: You're right. I did not like it at all. I'm like,
- 10:43Speaker 5: I don't like all this snow.
- 10:45Speaker 1: It made it feel colder and ourselves, Patriots went it
- 10:49Speaker 1: was crazy. The Seahawks Rams game was good too. That
- 10:53Speaker 1: was the game again, Yeah, that was that was a
- 10:55Speaker 1: good game. I think I like the quarterback stories and
- 10:59Speaker 1: I like the Sam Darnold everybody wrote them off. The
- 11:02Speaker 1: vikings didn't want them, so they shipped them off. I mean,
- 11:05Speaker 1: nobody wanted them at first, mostly because the Jets sucked,
- 11:08Speaker 1: Panthers sucked, went and rebuilt a little bit in San Francisco,
- 11:11Speaker 1: had a great season with Minnesota, and then even they
- 11:13Speaker 1: were like, now we're gonna go with the with the rookie.
- 11:16Speaker 1: We'll send you off, goes to Seattle, goes to the
- 11:18Speaker 1: super Bowl. I mean, I haven't seen the line. Have
- 11:20Speaker 1: you looked at the line, Kevin?
- 11:23Speaker 6: I came out at five, but I think it's already
- 11:25Speaker 6: gone to three and a half from what I saw.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Seattle, Seattle. Yes, and now you're the favorite to win
- 11:30Speaker 1: the Super Bowl.
- 11:30Speaker 5: That's pretty cool, pretty good story.
- 11:32Speaker 6: You worried, Kevin, No, dude, everything's freaking I don't know, Cherry.
- 11:37Speaker 7: On top of this point, I can't believe we're here.
- 11:39Speaker 7: They were playing the super Bowl.
- 11:41Speaker 6: But it's still like, I don't know, our defense is
- 11:44Speaker 6: playing so good and we've had to deal with bad
- 11:47Speaker 6: weather two weeks in a row that I feel like
- 11:50Speaker 6: they can keep playing that well. Hopefully, you never know.
- 11:52Speaker 6: In San Francisco could be raining. But it's just I'm
- 11:55Speaker 6: just enjoying the ride.
- 11:57Speaker 1: Imagine the Titans office.
- 12:00Speaker 5: I know, right, we let him go.
- 12:04Speaker 1: His first year.
- 12:07Speaker 5: Yeah, and now we got Salah.
- 12:10Speaker 1: I don't mind Sali think. I think Salah is a
- 12:12Speaker 1: good coach, but it's not even about that. It's about
- 12:14Speaker 1: that you let him go going out. I think, I
- 12:16Speaker 1: don't think he's gonna be able to take us to
- 12:17Speaker 1: the next level. And he goes up and takes an
- 12:19Speaker 1: under like I don't. I don't know what you call them,
- 12:22Speaker 1: an under understaffed, an under personneled with a second year
- 12:28Speaker 1: quarterback Patriots team that no one expected to even win
- 12:31Speaker 1: the division, much less when the AFC. It's crazy. So
- 12:35Speaker 1: congratulations Kevin.
- 12:36Speaker 5: That's school.
- 12:36Speaker 1: And then i'ven't seen if they updated the money.
- 12:39Speaker 5: Have you. I have not looked, but I mean, how
- 12:42Speaker 5: awesome is that?
- 12:43Speaker 1: Like, will you look, Kevin? If they haven't, I'll ask
- 12:45Speaker 1: for an update.
- 12:46Speaker 7: I looked this morning, but it hadn't changed.
- 12:48Speaker 1: Okay, I'll ask for an update. Now. Oh my gosh,
- 12:51Speaker 1: it's not it's not going to change that much how
- 12:53Speaker 1: much we owe, but it will. It will change a little.
- 12:55Speaker 5: Bit, I know, dude, But we're just chipping at it.
- 12:56Speaker 5: Like just it was so bad before and now I
- 12:59Speaker 5: just can't believe it, Like the out of all the
- 13:01Speaker 5: teams we've picked.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Well, first of all, we didn't pick them all the
- 13:05Speaker 1: teams you've picked, but I had picked Battie Kansas City.
- 13:08Speaker 5: It's just crazy to me that the Patriots are one
- 13:10Speaker 5: of our teams and all for you, Kevin, but like
- 13:12Speaker 5: it's just crazy that's the team that's digging us out
- 13:15Speaker 5: of a little hole that we were in.
- 13:16Speaker 1: We're a huge hole.
- 13:17Speaker 5: We're still a big hole.
- 13:18Speaker 1: We're gonna be in a big hole regardless, I know,
- 13:19Speaker 1: but it is helping a little bit.
- 13:21Speaker 5: It feels good.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Super Bowl sixty deserves a sports book built for the moment.
- 13:25Speaker 1: Draft Kings sports Book, an official sports betting partner of

- 14:51Speaker 1: I did watch before the power went out. I did
- 14:53Speaker 1: watch Alex Honold and the Free Solo Guy Climbed the skyscraper.
- 14:57Speaker 5: Dude. Thanks for reminding me.
- 14:59Speaker 1: People thought I was doing an ad on Netflix. Netflix
- 15:02Speaker 1: doesn't pay me to do ads. My Bobby cast is
- 15:04Speaker 1: on Netflix, but it has nothing to do with that.
- 15:07Speaker 1: They really have no even communication about other shows or
- 15:10Speaker 1: that there was never even like a wink, nudge, hey
- 15:12Speaker 1: say stuff about other shows. Nothing, because that's so big. Yeah,
- 15:15Speaker 1: that's a lot of Yeah. So I was pretty excited
- 15:18Speaker 1: about it. I was gonna watch it the night before,
- 15:20Speaker 1: but because it had rained, they pushed it off a day.
- 15:24Speaker 1: And so then it comes back and he's gonna climb
- 15:26Speaker 1: this building and I know it's pretty crazy because really,
- 15:30Speaker 1: at the heart of it, we're all just watching to
- 15:31Speaker 1: see if he dies. Not to watch him die. No
- 15:33Speaker 1: one wants to see that. But everyone's literally just watching
- 15:37Speaker 1: to see if he falls. Yeah, that's it. When he
- 15:40Speaker 1: would climb like the corners, those dragon corners.
- 15:43Speaker 5: And just use his hands and no legs.
- 15:46Speaker 1: Kevin, did you watch it all?
- 15:48Speaker 3: Oh?
- 15:48Speaker 6: Yeah, I watched the whole thing, and I hated watching
- 15:51Speaker 6: the whole thing, but I could not stop watching it.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Yeah, it was hard to watch, but I watched most
- 15:55Speaker 1: of it. My wife was like, I can't watch this,
- 15:57Speaker 1: so we watched the first part of it. We went
- 16:00Speaker 1: over because I was told it was going to be
- 16:01Speaker 1: about seventy minutes in total. It was longer than that
- 16:04Speaker 1: event all in, And so we watched that, we went
- 16:06Speaker 1: over and finished a show. We watched The Night Manager
- 16:08Speaker 1: season two, and that watched like half an episode of that,
- 16:11Speaker 1: and then came back to it. And the people that
- 16:15Speaker 1: were up taking selfies or taking up close pictures of
- 16:17Speaker 1: him in the windows. I didn't like them. I felt
- 16:21Speaker 1: like that was distracting. And they would get right up
- 16:23Speaker 1: on him and record. And now I've seen some of
- 16:24Speaker 1: those videos on tiktoking. It's fun now to see them.
- 16:28Speaker 1: But he'd be climbing this building in type Ai.
- 16:32Speaker 5: Taiwan, yeah, type A, Type A Taiwan, Yeah, and these.
- 16:36Speaker 1: People would be in the room and go right up
- 16:38Speaker 1: to him with a camera recording, and he's like looking
- 16:40Speaker 1: at him. Sometimes he'd wave. I guess this guy had
- 16:42Speaker 1: no worry that he would fall, no worry because I
- 16:45Speaker 1: think he does concern himself with climbing things naturally. I
- 16:48Speaker 1: think they even saw his heart rates start to go
- 16:50Speaker 1: up a little bit when they had the heart rate
- 16:52Speaker 1: monitor on him. But this I think was so easy
- 16:55Speaker 1: for him. The only thing about it that was crazy
- 16:57Speaker 1: was how high it was. Yeah, more so than how.
- 17:00Speaker 5: Hard it was. He would say once in a while
- 17:02Speaker 5: like I'm getting tired, and I like, I didn't want
- 17:05Speaker 5: to hear that, you know. He just go like, all right,
- 17:08Speaker 5: I'm getting a little tired here. And it's like, did
- 17:10Speaker 5: you have like a third, like a third to go?
- 17:12Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 17:13Speaker 1: And not only that big shout out to the guy
- 17:15Speaker 1: that I think he knew that was running the camera
- 17:17Speaker 1: because he was on a rope all the way from
- 17:19Speaker 1: the top of the building all the way down. Yeah,
- 17:22Speaker 1: so he's just hanging there. No, he's on a rope,
- 17:25Speaker 1: but that guy's up really high just holding the camera.
- 17:28Speaker 1: And there would be times in Alex Hando'll be like,
- 17:30Speaker 1: can hear my music? Can you guys start music up?
- 17:32Speaker 1: He was that calms are down, calms her down. And
- 17:34Speaker 1: it started to get real windy at the top.
- 17:36Speaker 5: Do you know what I didn't like? When he reached
- 17:38Speaker 5: the top and he's just standing on that ball at
- 17:42Speaker 5: the top of the building like the wind is so strong.
- 17:44Speaker 5: I thought like, dude, you just climbed this whole thing,
- 17:47Speaker 5: no problem, and now you're just all free nilly Willie,
- 17:50Speaker 5: this is where you die.
- 17:51Speaker 1: The wind blows him off a gust. I thought that
- 17:55Speaker 1: It was a little scary when he would get to
- 17:57Speaker 1: a certain point and then just stand up and he
- 17:59Speaker 1: walk over to the edge and look over. I know
- 18:01Speaker 1: obviously he has no fear of edges, but it's crazy.
- 18:04Speaker 1: They didn't pay him that much. How much they paynd
- 18:06Speaker 1: he said it wasn't really for a paycheck, but I
- 18:08Speaker 1: think the total was a few hundred thousand dollars.
- 18:13Speaker 5: I thought the.
- 18:15Speaker 1: It's got to be tough to commentate one of those things.
- 18:18Speaker 1: But I thought they talked a little too much. It
- 18:21Speaker 1: was just constant chitter chatter, chitter chatter, chitter chat. I
- 18:24Speaker 1: get it, you got to fill space. I think in
- 18:26Speaker 1: some of that though, you can leave a little oxygen
- 18:28Speaker 1: easy to say afterward, and as somebody who you know
- 18:32Speaker 1: does stuff like that, sometimes you're never going to do
- 18:34Speaker 1: it perfect.
- 18:35Speaker 5: I liked when they talked to him, they asked him questions.
- 18:38Speaker 1: I didn't because I thought they were distracting him.
- 18:41Speaker 5: Well, what they wouldn't do while he was like climbing,
- 18:42Speaker 5: they once he reached like a.
- 18:44Speaker 1: Checkpoint Malone, I don't like it leaving alone.
- 18:46Speaker 5: That was interesting.
- 18:47Speaker 1: I don't mind when they talked to a coach midgame
- 18:48Speaker 1: because he can't fall and die to his death.
- 18:52Speaker 5: There were ties when like they're talking and then he's talking.
- 18:55Speaker 5: I'm like, yeah, I want to hear what he said.
- 18:57Speaker 1: Yeah, it was interesting. I bet you a lot of
- 18:59Speaker 1: people watch that.
- 19:00Speaker 5: That's pretty cool, dude.
- 19:01Speaker 1: And it was live and they were able to make
- 19:03Speaker 1: it go and there were no pops that I saw,
- 19:04Speaker 1: no no cutouts like Netflix is getting it.
- 19:07Speaker 5: Or you're a palm sweaty.
- 19:10Speaker 1: No, physically, nothing happened to my body because of it.
- 19:14Speaker 5: Well I was. I was sweaty. I was nervous for him.
- 19:17Speaker 1: I had to dissociate from it a bit and go,
- 19:19Speaker 1: this is fiction. This is just because if you really
- 19:23Speaker 1: think about it, it makes me really nervous. I hate heights.
- 19:26Speaker 5: Can you imagine? Yeah, Like I just can't imagine even
- 19:30Speaker 5: like standing on one of those edges. He was looking down,
- 19:33Speaker 5: like just standing there, not climbing it.
- 19:36Speaker 1: It's pretty good though.
- 19:37Speaker 5: And then and then all his you know, you don't
- 19:38Speaker 5: think about how dirty a building is, Oh yeah, the grind,
- 19:41Speaker 5: Like you don't think about that, but I'm sure they
- 19:43Speaker 5: never get clean, like it's gotta be so dirty.
- 19:46Speaker 1: Yeah, that's good though. Big shout out to Netflix. That
- 19:48Speaker 1: was a fun thing. To watch it and he didn't die,
- 19:50Speaker 1: so a plus.
- 19:52Speaker 5: We need to do more of those, like live events
- 19:54Speaker 5: of just random things. Yeah. I don't know what else
- 19:57Speaker 5: we could do, but like just a random event of
- 20:00Speaker 5: dude free solo in a building was pretty cool.
- 20:03Speaker 1: Then my algorithm started to feed me on Instagram a
- 20:06Speaker 1: lot of other people that climb buildings.
- 20:09Speaker 5: Oh, i't gotten that one.
- 20:10Speaker 1: Pretty solo type stuff as crazy. Yeah, it's crazy. It's
- 20:14Speaker 1: not as crazy because the buildings aren't as big, but
- 20:16Speaker 1: they're still climbing really tall buildings with nothing.
- 20:20Speaker 5: I mean, I mean there's gotta be deaths, right, I'm.
- 20:21Speaker 1: Sure I didn't google that because I don't want to
- 20:23Speaker 1: see that.
- 20:24Speaker 5: That'll be your algorithm.
- 20:26Speaker 1: I did watch the UFC fights. It was on Paramount Plus.
- 20:29Speaker 5: So how much did you watch?
- 20:31Speaker 1: Well, it wasn't free, although it felt free because I've
- 20:34Speaker 1: already paid for the service, right, So I watched it
- 20:36Speaker 1: because it wasn't a pay per view.
- 20:38Speaker 5: Right, which is crazy. I just had no idea that
- 20:40Speaker 5: pay per view is not gonna be a thing anymore.
- 20:41Speaker 1: Yeah, that was the whole reason it went over.
- 20:43Speaker 5: Unbelievable. That's a that's almost ninety dollars that I would
- 20:45Speaker 5: spend on a random weekend.
- 20:46Speaker 1: But did you already have paramount?
- 20:48Speaker 5: Plus?
- 20:48Speaker 1: Did see? It feels free?
- 20:49Speaker 3: Right?
- 20:50Speaker 5: But win?
- 20:50Speaker 1: So I'm a casual, I'm a super casual UFC fan.
- 20:53Speaker 1: But I went over and watched in the first fight
- 20:55Speaker 1: that I watched was two women. It sucked. It's a
- 20:58Speaker 1: terrible fight. I don't even know who was and I
- 21:01Speaker 1: bet and lost. But it's a terrible fight. Would you
- 21:03Speaker 1: you're a UFC guy, would you say a bad fight?
- 21:05Speaker 5: It was like if I was trying to get a
- 21:07Speaker 5: friend involved in the UFC, like, dude, you have to
- 21:09Speaker 5: watch UFC. I would not have showed him that fight.
- 21:12Speaker 5: That was probably the worst representation of a UFC fight.
- 21:15Speaker 1: So watched it and lost. I even bet the favorite, No.
- 21:19Speaker 5: The favorite one. I won. You won money?
- 21:22Speaker 1: Oh you know what it was? She shouldn't have won.
- 21:23Speaker 1: I won, And I didn't feel like she should have
- 21:25Speaker 1: won because she lost two rounds and they fought to around.
- 21:27Speaker 1: They said she beat her so bad in the third round.
- 21:29Speaker 1: I felt like she should have she should I think
- 21:31Speaker 1: it was Nunia's. I don't remember whoever it was.
- 21:34Speaker 5: She should have won. It wasn't an She's famous, It
- 21:39Speaker 5: wasn't her, I.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Can look because I bet let me see who who was?
- 21:43Speaker 5: Uh?
- 21:44Speaker 1: I stayed around and watched more.
- 21:45Speaker 5: Uh huh it was a Brazilian girl. Brazilian girl, but
- 21:48Speaker 5: I and Rose and Rose, uh I forget her.
- 21:51Speaker 1: I ended up watching all the fights.
- 21:53Speaker 5: Oh you did, so you watched O'Malley and you watched
- 21:56Speaker 5: uh god, dude, Patty the Baddie. That was like crazy fight.
- 21:59Speaker 1: Let me here, okay, so here I lost on that
- 22:03Speaker 1: fight on Patty. Yeah, I think I think I went
- 22:07Speaker 1: three and two. Her name was uh Waldo Quartet.
- 22:12Speaker 5: No, those are the heavyweights.
- 22:16Speaker 1: Silva, Natalie Silva.
- 22:17Speaker 5: Okay, Natalie Silva, what you said? A man?
- 22:20Speaker 1: Now, I guess I went too and two on the fights.
- 22:26Speaker 5: That's pretty good, that's solid. Yeah, But how did you
- 22:29Speaker 5: make money because those heavy favorites like that, like it's
- 22:31Speaker 5: it's hard to make money.
- 22:32Speaker 1: A very little amount on that next fight with those
- 22:34Speaker 1: two really big dudes.
- 22:35Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 22:36Speaker 1: But then, so here's the thing. Patty the Baddi lost.
- 22:39Speaker 1: He got I poked first and they stopped the fight correct.
- 22:42Speaker 1: Then he got I galloped a second time and it
- 22:44Speaker 1: totally affected that round.
- 22:45Speaker 5: And I thought they were going to review it because
- 22:46Speaker 5: they can review it, but they did not, and they
- 22:48Speaker 5: would have.
- 22:49Speaker 1: We should have won the fight. He would have won
- 22:50Speaker 1: the fight. He ended up getting beat and man, it
- 22:52Speaker 1: looked like he was getting knocked out a few times
- 22:54Speaker 1: and he came back. He should have won the fight
- 22:57Speaker 1: because that dude, even if they hadn't, even if they
- 23:00Speaker 1: reviewed it and it wasn't the end of the fight,
- 23:03Speaker 1: they were like, yep, another eye, Gallagy take away a
- 23:05Speaker 1: point or whatever corruct that totally affected that round.
- 23:07Speaker 5: That would have won the round and won the fight.
- 23:08Speaker 1: God, I guess twice is crazy.
- 23:10Speaker 5: Yeah, dude, And how dude, how crazy was that was
- 23:13Speaker 5: that shot to the face where it exploded his face? Yeah,
- 23:16Speaker 5: it was one shot and like his eye exploded, his
- 23:19Speaker 5: nose was broken. It just rocked his face.
- 23:22Speaker 1: So I did watch you UFC fights good good. I
- 23:25Speaker 1: don't know that I'll watch them regularly unless there's a
- 23:29Speaker 1: big name. I do like them. They started an hour
- 23:30Speaker 1: I like they started an hour earlier.
- 23:32Speaker 5: This one had some pretty good names.
- 23:33Speaker 1: They start at eight now instead of nine. The pay
- 23:36Speaker 1: per view they knew would be a lot more hardcore
- 23:37Speaker 1: fans this and they're trying to get some of the
- 23:39Speaker 1: casuals to hang around and watch. Ye, there's too many
- 23:40Speaker 1: commercials though it was commercials all the time.
- 23:43Speaker 5: Did you end up going over to the multicam? There
- 23:46Speaker 5: was a multiicam.
- 23:47Speaker 1: I don't know anything.
- 23:48Speaker 5: I just left on that. I didn't I was on
- 23:50Speaker 5: it for a second. And there's no announcers, which I
- 23:52Speaker 5: really do appreciate the announcers because they just add, like
- 23:55Speaker 5: Joe Rogan adds a lot to like what's happening to
- 23:57Speaker 5: the fight, and they didn't have that. But take it
- 24:00Speaker 5: that next fight.
- 24:01Speaker 1: Kevin, you did to watch UFC?
- 24:03Speaker 6: The only fight I watched was the O'Malley one.
- 24:07Speaker 1: Oh you you watched that one?
- 24:09Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 24:10Speaker 7: But after that I couldn't step anymore.
- 24:11Speaker 1: There were no more. There was one more. Oh that's
- 24:13Speaker 1: not Patty O'Malley's the pink hair. Oh bro, I'm telling
- 24:17Speaker 1: you all these Irish names. I thought the same person.
- 24:19Speaker 5: But Patty Patty's English, and uh, O'Malley is American. Oh
- 24:26Speaker 5: it's not even Irish.
- 24:27Speaker 1: Yeah, dude, I'm such a casual. I watched the O'Malley
- 24:29Speaker 1: fight too, Yeah, I thought that was all the same person.
- 24:33Speaker 1: Do you see Kevin the Indiana in Stadium celebration after
- 24:37Speaker 1: the National championship. No, man, it kind of sucked.
- 24:42Speaker 5: Like like the the ceremony, Yeah.
- 24:45Speaker 1: It wasn't full. Everyone left and it's probably cold. Well
- 24:48Speaker 1: not left. It didn't go. They didn't have the game
- 24:51Speaker 1: there at home.
- 24:52Speaker 5: Oh you're talking about when they got back the Yeah,
- 24:55Speaker 5: yeah they came back, got it? Why not?
- 24:58Speaker 1: Maybe maybe bad time weather, but yeah, Kursing Natty walks out.
- 25:02Speaker 1: It was lined a little But I felt like a
- 25:04Speaker 1: little a little bit desired there. I figured the fan
- 25:08Speaker 1: base would be a little more prominent and they weren't.
- 25:13Speaker 1: But it's winter weather time, man, But in Indiana went
- 25:16Speaker 1: to weather's not.
- 25:17Speaker 5: Used to that.
- 25:17Speaker 1: It's like spring day. Kurz Signetti's rewarded free beer for
- 25:20Speaker 1: life from a brewery in Indiana.
- 25:22Speaker 5: Oh he did shout out the brewery. He did, yeah,
- 25:25Speaker 5: because they I think a reporter asked him like, so
- 25:27Speaker 5: you're gonna get that beer, you know, and then he's
- 25:28Speaker 5: like yeah, yeah. He's like, well what kind of beer
- 25:30Speaker 5: is it? And then he shot out the.
- 25:31Speaker 1: Brewery as a show of appreciation for bringing Indiana's first
- 25:33Speaker 1: ever football national championship. Upland Brewing Brewer Brewing, based in Bloomington,
- 25:39Speaker 1: has ponied up a lifetime supply of beer for the coach.
- 25:41Speaker 5: Great, he's gonna be drunk next season.
- 25:43Speaker 1: If you had a lifetime supply beer, would you take
- 25:45Speaker 1: advantage of it?
- 25:46Speaker 5: Yes?
- 25:46Speaker 1: Or would you just moderately and just save you a
- 25:48Speaker 1: little money? Do you think it makes you drink more?
- 25:50Speaker 3: Well?
- 25:50Speaker 5: See what? So one of my birthdays or Christmas, I
- 25:53Speaker 5: don't remember, my wife got me a cagreator and it
- 25:56Speaker 5: was like the best gift I've ever gotten, and I
- 25:58Speaker 5: was so excited. I went out to like a liquor
- 26:01Speaker 5: store and bought my keg. I was like, I want
- 26:03Speaker 5: a keg of Sam Adams or whatever. They gave me
- 26:06Speaker 5: the keg. Dude, I threw like ninety percent of that
- 26:09Speaker 5: beer away. There's no way I could make a dent
- 26:11Speaker 5: on that keg. So, yes, a year beer sounds awesome,
- 26:15Speaker 5: but I don't think I could take advantage of that.
- 26:16Speaker 1: Eddie's doing keke stands at home by himself.
- 26:20Speaker 5: Dude, this thing was awesome. Like I would get home
- 26:22Speaker 5: from work and just like get a pile of glass
- 26:24Speaker 5: and like just pour myself a beer.
- 26:26Speaker 1: Maszoo had two buzzer beaters in one game over ou
- 26:30Speaker 1: is the craziest thing I've ever seen. There was two
- 26:32Speaker 1: seconds left. They throw the ball in. It's out of
- 26:34Speaker 1: his hand right as it's hitting the rim. The pink
- 26:39Speaker 1: backboard goes off shot cluck, and they hit it to tie.
- 26:42Speaker 1: You go to overtime. It was a crazy shot to
- 26:44Speaker 1: go overtime. Then they're down to same freaking thing happens
- 26:47Speaker 1: a different person. No buzzer beater. I think only the
- 26:51Speaker 1: second time in history that that's happened. Two buzzer beaters
- 26:54Speaker 1: in the same game. It is wild if you hadn't
- 26:57Speaker 1: if you haven't seen it yet. They released a final
- 27:01Speaker 1: AP pole in college and so they had Texas rated
- 27:07Speaker 1: higher than OU, which is kind of funny to me
- 27:10Speaker 1: because Texas didn't even make the playoff. But Texas was
- 27:13Speaker 1: at twelve OU was at thirteen. So I texted my
- 27:15Speaker 1: father in law, I said, this OU Texas ranking doesn't
- 27:18Speaker 1: seem to be indicative of the playoff, and he said,
- 27:22Speaker 1: I don't go by the AP pole. I have my
- 27:24Speaker 1: own pool, my own pole, using my own personal analytics,
- 27:27Speaker 1: and they're one. After crunching the numbers, OU has top
- 27:30Speaker 1: ten and Texas is unranked.
- 27:33Speaker 5: I love it.
- 27:34Speaker 1: So, yeah, you got it if you made the playoff,
- 27:38Speaker 1: you should be ranked over teams and didn't make the playoff.
- 27:41Speaker 1: Don't we think that's the case.
- 27:43Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, it seems the most logical.
- 27:47Speaker 1: The updated NFL head coaching landscape. So the Steelers with
- 27:50Speaker 1: Mike McCarthy, dude, that's wild. I think Mike McCarthy's a
- 27:54Speaker 1: good coach. But if you're a Steelers fan, you're probably
- 27:58Speaker 1: thinking you're going to hit either home run with a
- 28:00Speaker 1: big name or really invest in one of these young,
- 28:04Speaker 1: not big names, but really high potential, high seiling guys.
- 28:09Speaker 1: And I feel like Mike McCarthy's not either one of those.
- 28:12Speaker 1: And if you look back, they've had three coaches over
- 28:13Speaker 1: the last fifty years or so, and what Chuck, Nole,
- 28:17Speaker 1: Cower and Tomlin. Yeah, and each of them ran a
- 28:21Speaker 1: long time. McCarthy's sixty two, I don't know how long. Kevin,
- 28:26Speaker 1: what were your thoughts when you saw the Steelers hire
- 28:28Speaker 1: Mike McCarthy A.
- 28:29Speaker 6: Little bit surprised to your point. I thought they'd go
- 28:31Speaker 6: with somebody younger. But I think it's just a Steelers
- 28:33Speaker 6: way of them being like, it's somebody that's stable, somebody
- 28:36Speaker 6: that's been there, somebody that's done that, and who knows
- 28:39Speaker 6: how long he'll do it, but I think it's just
- 28:42Speaker 6: a very stable, safe hire for them.
- 28:44Speaker 1: I feel like it's safe as well, and it seems
- 28:48Speaker 1: to me that that's the perfect pick of a coach.
- 28:51Speaker 1: If you want Aaron Rodgers to come back for another year.
- 28:54Speaker 6: Yeah, because they had their run they did, But do
- 28:57Speaker 6: you like, if you're a Steelers fan, do you want
- 28:59Speaker 6: Aaron Rodgers?
- 29:00Speaker 1: I think if you're a Steelers fan, you have to
- 29:02Speaker 1: decide if you're willing to go and lose a bunch
- 29:03Speaker 1: of games to get a better draft pick, because if
- 29:06Speaker 1: you get Aaron Rodgers again, you have a chance to
- 29:07Speaker 1: win ten or eleven games. If you don't have a quarterback,
- 29:12Speaker 1: like what, that's probably what will happen. You gotta lose
- 29:15Speaker 1: a bunch in order to get a pick. So it
- 29:17Speaker 1: kind of just depends on what Steelers fans want. Now
- 29:22Speaker 1: they're not gonna get what they want, but you either
- 29:23Speaker 1: get a high pick or you get Aaron Rodgers. Because
- 29:25Speaker 1: if you get Aaron Rodgers, ain't getting high pick because
- 29:27Speaker 1: you're gonna end up, you know, nine, ten to eleven
- 29:29Speaker 1: wins and yeah, which is what you know. At most,
- 29:33Speaker 1: you're probably gonna get a playoff win at most, so
- 29:37Speaker 1: Mike McCarthy coach of the Steelers, the Ravens with Jesse Mentor,
- 29:40Speaker 1: the Giants with John Harbaugh, the Falcons with Kevin Stefanski,
- 29:43Speaker 1: the Dolphins with Jeff Hafley, and the Titans with Robert Sala.
- 29:47Speaker 1: So we got nothing from the Bills, the Browns, the Cardinals,
- 29:50Speaker 1: or the Raiders as of we're recording this right now.
- 29:52Speaker 1: On Monday about eleven am, the Bills did interview Philip Rivers.
- 29:57Speaker 1: That'd be hilarious. The only coaching experience he has highest cool.
- 30:02Speaker 5: But he did just play.
- 30:03Speaker 1: They play, so I mean there are a lot of
- 30:05Speaker 1: people who just played. They probably shuldn't hire as a coach.
- 30:07Speaker 1: So the Bills, they kept saying, no, this is real,
- 30:10Speaker 1: this is real. It's feeling like now it's not as real.
- 30:13Speaker 1: There are other guys going in. But I think that's
- 30:16Speaker 1: the good job that's left. But man, to go into Buffalo,
- 30:19Speaker 1: you gotta love the cold weather. I think it's gonna
- 30:21Speaker 1: be dable. If I'm just guessing, I think it's stable.
- 30:24Speaker 1: I think it's everything's right for him to end up
- 30:25Speaker 1: with that job. He's from there. He was the offensive
- 30:28Speaker 1: coordinator there, with Josh Allen when they were winning. I
- 30:31Speaker 1: think you go to the Giants and you lose. The
- 30:33Speaker 1: Giants kind of a poverty organization. Generally, they can kill coaches,
- 30:39Speaker 1: even if the coach is good. I think Dable will
- 30:42Speaker 1: probably be the guy there. But I don't want to
- 30:44Speaker 1: coach the Browns. Like I don't want to coach the
- 30:45Speaker 1: Browns if you offered me the job. I don't want
- 30:47Speaker 1: to coach the Browns.
- 30:48Speaker 5: Nobody's offering you those I know, but if you do,
- 30:50Speaker 5: I don't want to coach the Browns.
- 30:52Speaker 1: What's crazy about that job? I'm reading They make the
- 30:54Speaker 1: coaches take a personality test, they make them write an essay,
- 30:58Speaker 1: what they make them do all these different They're like,
- 31:00Speaker 1: we're such an analytics based organization. You are you guys suck?
- 31:05Speaker 5: Yeah that's not working, man, Try something else. Yeah.
- 31:08Speaker 1: So the Browns. I don't want to coach Cardinals.
- 31:11Speaker 5: Oh, Arizona's nice though.
- 31:13Speaker 1: That's a you talk about a poverty organization. That's maybe
- 31:17Speaker 1: with them and the Titans and the Browns are probably
- 31:20Speaker 1: the three most I would say the Panthers are slightly
- 31:23Speaker 1: above those three, and only because they won this year. Kevin,
- 31:26Speaker 1: why would you Rayther coach the Browns and the Cardinals.
- 31:29Speaker 7: Strictly for weather alone, Okay, Arizona.
- 31:32Speaker 4: I.
- 31:33Speaker 5: Live in Scottsdale.
- 31:35Speaker 1: That's fair strictly for weather. But when they do those
- 31:38Speaker 1: player polls, the Cardinals get f's on a lot of
- 31:41Speaker 1: stuff from like food, how they treat their family and
- 31:45Speaker 1: so yeah, all that I mean the Raiders, they have
- 31:48Speaker 1: an infusion of new ownership. There's there's a reason those
- 31:52Speaker 1: three jobs are three. The last four to be filled
- 31:55Speaker 1: just not great jobs. So there you go. As far
- 31:59Speaker 1: as the coaching so goes, super Bowl sixty deserves a

- 33:24Speaker 1: What country do you think the women have.
- 33:25Speaker 5: The biggest boobs? Let's think about this, Kevin all right.
- 33:31Speaker 1: A report recently ranked countries in the world by the
- 33:33Speaker 1: average breast size, America at number two. And I would
- 33:37Speaker 1: assume that's because so much plastic surgery.
- 33:39Speaker 5: Oh I was to think of food.
- 33:40Speaker 1: That would be my assumption, or oh, like if the
- 33:43Speaker 1: fatter you get, the bigger they get. Yeah, so it's
- 33:45Speaker 1: mostly cold places. At five Iceland.
- 33:48Speaker 5: Oh you've been Iceland? Did you notice anything normal.
- 33:52Speaker 1: At for Luxembourg, I've never been there. At three the UK,
- 33:56Speaker 1: two United States, one Norway. Norwegian must be bigger people
- 34:02Speaker 1: like those Viking. I just think I just picture the
- 34:04Speaker 1: Viking women with that the horns on their head and
- 34:07Speaker 1: singing opera with the big yellow braids, the big blonde braids.
- 34:12Speaker 5: But I think they would have like armor, so they'd
- 34:14Speaker 5: need like big armor.
- 34:15Speaker 1: They did get that. Ryan Wedding, that drug kingpin saw that.
- 34:19Speaker 1: Do you see him coming off the airplane?
- 34:21Speaker 5: Yeah, dude, that's crazy.
- 34:23Speaker 1: You know those FBA agents are fighting for that spot
- 34:26Speaker 1: in the picture. Of course, they're walking them out. There's
- 34:30Speaker 1: four people right with them, two on the side to
- 34:33Speaker 1: right behind him. He's handcuffed. Former Canadian Olympic snowboarder and
- 34:37Speaker 1: alleged drunk keeping Ryan Wedding has been rested in Mexico
- 34:40Speaker 1: will be extradited to the US. Wedding, who had been
- 34:43Speaker 1: on the FBI's ten most wanted fugitive list as accused
- 34:46Speaker 1: of running a transnational drug trafficking operation that moved tons
- 34:49Speaker 1: of cocaine across international boarders.
- 34:52Speaker 5: Cocaine quarterback man not yet not same guy, not different due,
- 34:56Speaker 5: but I mean it just gets you. Like you get power,
- 34:59Speaker 5: hum hungry, money hungry, you get you get away with
- 35:04Speaker 5: one transaction. You're like, oh I can this. That was easy,
- 35:06Speaker 5: I can do this. Then slippery slow.
- 35:10Speaker 1: He was hiding out in Mexico cas where they got him, right,
- 35:12Speaker 1: but he was like hiding out with like cartel people. Yeah, dude,
- 35:16Speaker 1: I just feel like if I were in the cartel,
- 35:17Speaker 1: eventually I'm going to die.
- 35:18Speaker 5: That's kind of how it goes, right, Like you've seen
- 35:20Speaker 5: too many stories that they're going to turn on you man.
- 35:22Speaker 1: At some point, and people are always plotting again. They're
- 35:25Speaker 1: either scared of you or plotting against you, and sometimes
- 35:27Speaker 1: both at the same time.
- 35:28Speaker 5: Yeah, Like there there's no longevity.
- 35:30Speaker 1: Of p I wouldn't like that life. No, I wouldn't
- 35:33Speaker 1: like that life at all, even with all the money
- 35:34Speaker 1: in the world. I wouldn't like that life.
- 35:36Speaker 5: You talk about, you know that picture FBI picture or whatever, Like,
- 35:39Speaker 5: do you remember when they caught Pablo Escobar and like
- 35:42Speaker 5: how they posed with him like he was a trophy deer.
- 35:46Speaker 5: I don't like, yeah, because they shot him on the
- 35:48Speaker 5: roof right. He was like running and they shot him
- 35:50Speaker 5: and he died.
- 35:50Speaker 1: Oh, I do remember that. And they they were like
- 35:52Speaker 1: Polari picked pictures of the polar pictures what I saw.
- 35:54Speaker 5: Yeah, they would like pose like it was like they
- 35:57Speaker 5: just shot a zebra on a safari. It's crazy.
- 36:01Speaker 1: I had a picture that I think our show had posted,
- 36:05Speaker 1: and it has It was me and Chris Martin together
- 36:07Speaker 1: from Coldplay. Kevin, did you ever said picture as posted?
- 36:11Speaker 7: That was the first time is when the show posted it?
- 36:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I never knew I met Chris Martin.
- 36:16Speaker 5: I didn't see the picture.
- 36:18Speaker 1: You haven't seen the picture of me and Chris Martin.
- 36:20Speaker 5: No, when did they post that, like recently?
- 36:21Speaker 1: Maybe the Bybone show posted it. It was that twenty
- 36:24Speaker 1: sixteen trend where you postings from ten years ago, okay,
- 36:28Speaker 1: And it was a picture of me and Chris Martin
- 36:30Speaker 1: sent it next.
- 36:31Speaker 5: To each other and you met him and you don't know.
- 36:33Speaker 1: And I saw the picture and I said, I do
- 36:35Speaker 1: not remember meeting Chris Martin at any time in my
- 36:37Speaker 1: life whatsoever. I definitely don't remember at a festival because
- 36:40Speaker 1: it looks like it's at music festival.
- 36:42Speaker 5: Do you have it up now? I'm looking.
- 36:43Speaker 1: Also, it's a weird picture. Oh yeah, he's like holding
- 36:47Speaker 1: my hand. I have my hand over his shoulder and
- 36:49Speaker 1: he's got his hand back up and he's holding my hand.
- 36:52Speaker 5: What the is this real? I would think this is AI,
- 36:54Speaker 5: but that's real?
- 36:55Speaker 1: Not AI, dude?
- 36:57Speaker 5: Why is he holding your hand?
- 36:59Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 37:00Speaker 5: Let's see. I feel like this would be a core memory,
- 37:02Speaker 5: like me too. The fact one, the fact that you
- 37:04Speaker 5: met Chris Martin, that's cool, But the fact that you
- 37:06Speaker 5: took a picture and then he held your hand.
- 37:08Speaker 1: If you would have asked me and made me bet
- 37:11Speaker 1: on it fifty bucks. Do you ever met Chris Martin?
- 37:13Speaker 1: I'll take that bet. Nope, sure haven't. The only time
- 37:16Speaker 1: I thought I ever met Chris Martin is didn't you
- 37:18Speaker 1: see him in a jeep?
- 37:19Speaker 3: No?
- 37:20Speaker 5: Mike did? Oh? Was that?
- 37:21Speaker 1: Mike?
- 37:22Speaker 3: Hey?
- 37:22Speaker 1: Because we were staying in Los Angeles. I was doing
- 37:25Speaker 1: American Idol. Mike, you saw Chris Martin driving in a jeep?
- 37:28Speaker 5: Yeah? In Malibu. He was driving to his house or
- 37:31Speaker 5: like an art house he owns.
- 37:32Speaker 3: There.
- 37:32Speaker 1: Was it a really cool jeep?
- 37:34Speaker 5: Now it's like a normal white jeep like Eddie has.
- 37:38Speaker 1: La would be weird to be famous because there's always
- 37:40Speaker 1: somebody more famous than you, Like, you really can't be
- 37:42Speaker 1: famous in LA. You can a little bit, but there's
- 37:45Speaker 1: so many famous people. It's like if you were six
- 37:47Speaker 1: foot four. If you're six foot four and you go
- 37:50Speaker 1: to somewhere normal, you're the biggest dude ever. If you
- 37:53Speaker 1: go hang out with a bunch of NBA players or athletes,
- 37:55Speaker 1: you're just a dude.
- 37:56Speaker 7: M M.
- 37:57Speaker 1: That's what LA's like.
- 37:58Speaker 5: Does that make like Leonardo Kai a pretty cooler because
- 38:01Speaker 5: he stands out amongst the Kings. He's even bigger.
- 38:04Speaker 1: Tom Hanks, He's he's wimby. Yeah, those guys are wimby's.
- 38:09Speaker 5: If you being in La, Like, have you ever just
- 38:11Speaker 5: seen a celebrity on like just walking? I know, I
- 38:15Speaker 5: remember you saw who was it? Larry David?
- 38:17Speaker 1: My wife spotted him. Wasn't in LA though.
- 38:20Speaker 5: We were in Palm Springs.
- 38:23Speaker 1: That's it. I was gonna say, where all the old
- 38:24Speaker 1: people go, Fomspring. Yeah, we were sitting And here's why
- 38:31Speaker 1: it wasn't even for any reason cool. Oklahoma was playing
- 38:35Speaker 1: in a softball tournament out there. It's called the Mary
- 38:37Speaker 1: Nutter because she's like a big salt. I don't know
- 38:39Speaker 1: who Mary Nutter is, Mary Nutter Classic. And so we're
- 38:41Speaker 1: out there going to the tournament and there are like
- 38:44Speaker 1: ten twelve college softball teams out there. That's her name,
- 38:48Speaker 1: Mary Nutter.
- 38:48Speaker 5: You guys should look at it.
- 38:50Speaker 1: I don't think I'm wrong on that. And so we're
- 38:52Speaker 1: there at a hotel just so because her whole family's
- 38:54Speaker 1: out there, her dad's out there. Uh DJ maybe wasn't
- 38:59Speaker 1: out there, but we're all there, and we're sitting at
- 39:02Speaker 1: our hotel and some guys like, can you believe it?
- 39:06Speaker 5: My room?
- 39:06Speaker 1: Elect your car?
- 39:07Speaker 5: They were, They were like, let's go. You can hear.
- 39:10Speaker 5: You can hear that he was the same person.
- 39:12Speaker 1: It's on television. And my wife is a massive Larry
- 39:15Speaker 1: David fan, and she goes, do not do not turn around.
- 39:19Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you this. If you if you make
- 39:21Speaker 1: your head whip one direction, I'm gonna punch in the shoulder,
- 39:24Speaker 1: she said, to your left three o'clock Larry David sitting
- 39:27Speaker 1: with whomever the woman was.
- 39:28Speaker 5: And then what was your reaction.
- 39:31Speaker 1: I did have a real slow turn, and who knows
- 39:36Speaker 1: if he even noticed, but yeah, I saw Larry David.
- 39:37Speaker 1: But that wasn't in La. The only other guy that
- 39:39Speaker 1: I've seen just walking around is that Jeremy Allen the
- 39:46Speaker 1: guy who was chef. Oh yeah, and the bear, Yeah, Jeremy,
- 39:50Speaker 1: that's Alan White. And I didn't notice him because I
- 39:54Speaker 1: don't really notice people. My wife noticed him. We were
- 39:57Speaker 1: at a place that's kind of like Whole Foods, and so.
- 40:01Speaker 5: He was just shopping.
- 40:02Speaker 1: Yep, he was. He's just shopping. I think he was
- 40:04Speaker 1: like outside smoking a cigarette or something. Oh, because we
- 40:07Speaker 1: were there and he was out there. He's at the
- 40:08Speaker 1: gym next door, but he was just walking around smoking
- 40:11Speaker 1: at the gym outside and he was I was like,
- 40:14Speaker 1: there's Jeremy Allen White. And I was like, who's Jeremy
- 40:16Speaker 1: Allen White?
- 40:16Speaker 5: She was like chef.
- 40:18Speaker 1: I was like, oh, yeah, I got it.
- 40:19Speaker 5: You guys all I gotta say.
- 40:20Speaker 1: But I think that's the only person that I've ever
- 40:22Speaker 1: seen just randomly. Kevin lived in California. He lived in
- 40:24Speaker 1: LA for a little bit. Did you just see Randoms
- 40:26Speaker 1: all the time?
- 40:28Speaker 6: Not all the time, but two, no, I guess three
- 40:30Speaker 6: people I saw it Whole Foods, the same Whole Foods
- 40:33Speaker 6: back to back like weeks. Was Josh Touhommel and who
- 40:38Speaker 6: was a Game of Thrones girl that was married to
- 40:39Speaker 6: the Jonas brother.
- 40:40Speaker 1: Wait, Josh Jamal Jamal Jamal, is that you said? Yeah?
- 40:43Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 40:43Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 40:44Speaker 1: And then the Jonas brother Game of Thrones girl, oh,
- 40:47Speaker 1: Sophie Turner.
- 40:50Speaker 7: Yes, and the Jonahs brother they were together, like shopping together.
- 40:53Speaker 5: Brother Kevin.
- 40:55Speaker 1: Oh no, wait, there's Nick, There's Kevin, Joe.
- 40:58Speaker 5: Joe jo Jo Joe. Yeah.
- 41:01Speaker 6: And people don't bother them, right, No, not at all.
- 41:05Speaker 6: I'm sitting there watching like should I say something? Nobody
- 41:07Speaker 6: else is saying something. I guess I won't say anything,
- 41:08Speaker 6: so I didn't.
- 41:09Speaker 5: But you recognize them, Kevin, like you're the one that
- 41:11Speaker 5: spotted him.
- 41:13Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean she was wearing I remember she was
- 41:16Speaker 6: wearing a big old Giants like New York Giants jacket,
- 41:19Speaker 6: like a throwback jacket, so that stood out and then
- 41:20Speaker 6: I realized it was her, and I was like, oh wow,
- 41:23Speaker 6: and you you know right away, especially a Jonas brother,
- 41:25Speaker 6: like they're everywhere, and it was during Game of Thrones,
- 41:27Speaker 6: so her face was ever at the time, but nobody
- 41:30Speaker 6: said anything to him.
- 41:32Speaker 1: Eddie saw a celebrity here in town at the skating
- 41:35Speaker 1: rink that.
- 41:35Speaker 5: Was crazy, dude, are you sure it was one one?
- 41:39Speaker 5: Because even I saw people trying to sneak pictures, which
- 41:42Speaker 5: it's crazy to me, Like, and my wife's the one
- 41:45Speaker 5: that spotted him, of course, Like I would never spot
- 41:47Speaker 5: a celebrity ever. I just don't look for celebrities, all right,
- 41:50Speaker 5: or like look at people and be like who is that? Okay,
- 41:53Speaker 5: and my wife's like, just like you and Larry David,
- 41:56Speaker 5: don't be obvious, but right behind you is David Arquette
- 42:01Speaker 5: at I'll like from scream like Courtney Cox's ex. Like,
- 42:05Speaker 5: what are you talking about? Sure enough, dude, it was him.
- 42:08Speaker 5: I did the Google and everything, and I think maybe
- 42:12Speaker 5: they live here. Him and his wife had no idea.
- 42:15Speaker 1: Yeah, a lot of people live here that you wouldn't think.
- 42:18Speaker 1: Like when I was walking by and I saw the
- 42:19Speaker 1: guy from Karate Kid.
- 42:19Speaker 5: At the table, Yeah Johnny.
- 42:21Speaker 1: Yeah. I didn't know his name till I looked it up,
- 42:24Speaker 1: but I immediately knew that dude.
- 42:27Speaker 5: And if he didn't have a Cobra Kai, like, we
- 42:32Speaker 5: wouldn't recognize him because he doesn't look like Johnny is
- 42:34Speaker 5: older or whatever. But the fact that he's in Cobra
- 42:36Speaker 5: Kai and we know who he is same thing with
- 42:39Speaker 5: David Arquette. Dude, I haven't seen David Arquettes and scream,
- 42:42Speaker 5: so I had no idea what he looked like. He's older,
- 42:45Speaker 5: so like you look at him, he didn't scream, David Arquette.
- 42:48Speaker 5: You'd have to do a little bit of research.
- 42:49Speaker 1: Is that a pun? What he doesn't scream David Arkette?
- 42:54Speaker 5: I didn't even think about that.
- 42:56Speaker 1: Was he skating?
- 42:57Speaker 5: Nah, he was just I think his kids were skating
- 42:59Speaker 5: or somebody was skating. He was there with his wife.
- 43:00Speaker 5: Got it. Hey, do you remember when we saw uh,
- 43:04Speaker 5: Cindy Crawford.
- 43:05Speaker 1: Yeah, that was backstage at the music festival. That was
- 43:07Speaker 1: awesome because there were a lot of people back there.
- 43:09Speaker 1: We had played a Coachella Coachella and so no, that's
- 43:15Speaker 1: not true.
- 43:15Speaker 5: A stage Coach.
- 43:16Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, go same grounds, different weekend.
- 43:20Speaker 5: But man, it sounds so different.
- 43:22Speaker 1: Yeah, we went to We played Stage Coach one year.
- 43:23Speaker 1: Eddie and I did Raging Idiots, and so then we
- 43:25Speaker 1: just went to the show. We stayed because Tom Trut
- 43:28Speaker 1: was playing. Yeah, and then Cindy Crawford was in the
- 43:30Speaker 1: back there. And when we were young, Cindy Crawford was
- 43:32Speaker 1: like the thing.
- 43:33Speaker 5: The post is a poster he supermodeled.
- 43:34Speaker 1: Yeah, two back there, like you said older now, yeah,
- 43:37Speaker 1: her daughter looks exactly like her. Now, no, that's and
- 43:40Speaker 1: I know that's how it works.
- 43:42Speaker 5: Like it's not always though, yeah, not always. Uh So.
- 43:46Speaker 1: This is from NJ dot com. The item in your
- 43:49Speaker 1: drawers that could be worth fifty thousand dollars. If you
- 43:52Speaker 1: go back and you have a first generation iPhone, it
- 43:54Speaker 1: could be worth up to fifty thousand dollars. Like if
- 43:56Speaker 1: it's a mint condition, if it happens still be in
- 43:58Speaker 1: the box, fifty thousand dollar. It could be worth ten, twelve,
- 44:01Speaker 1: fourteen thousand dollars even if it's not in mint condition.
- 44:03Speaker 1: If it's the number one and it still works.
- 44:06Speaker 5: That's amazing. Do you still have your phones?
- 44:09Speaker 1: I'd like to last three? Yeah, but it's only because
- 44:12Speaker 1: I don't know what to do with them save them now. No,
- 44:15Speaker 1: they're out a box, they're out of everything. But I
- 44:17Speaker 1: just don't want to like give them away and then
- 44:19Speaker 1: have somebody have access to all my stuff, because even
- 44:22Speaker 1: if you wipe it clean, there's way, there's a way
- 44:25Speaker 1: to get it back.
- 44:26Speaker 5: You never really wipe it clean.
- 44:27Speaker 1: It's like my last three laptops are just like sitting
- 44:29Speaker 1: at the house in a pile because I don't want
- 44:31Speaker 1: to get my computer up.
- 44:32Speaker 5: Dude. You know what I used to have, which I
- 44:34Speaker 5: feel like be worth a lot is the the U
- 44:37Speaker 5: two edition iPod.
- 44:39Speaker 1: It's still in the box.
- 44:40Speaker 5: No, I left it at a hotel. Oh you know
- 44:44Speaker 5: how like some hotels have that little they used to
- 44:46Speaker 5: have the thing where you can put it on the
- 44:47Speaker 5: alarm clock. Left it on there.
- 44:49Speaker 1: But I think if it's going to be worth money,
- 44:51Speaker 1: it's got to pretty much still be in a box.
- 44:53Speaker 5: Oh like mint mints.
- 44:55Speaker 1: Well just new so some news not mint, but all
- 45:00Speaker 1: meant is usually new.
- 45:01Speaker 5: I just remember when I bought that thing. It was
- 45:03Speaker 5: like I had to go at least.
- 45:05Speaker 1: Shelf when it's new, or like case when it's new.
- 45:07Speaker 5: I did like order from like a Best Buy or
- 45:09Speaker 5: something that was on the other side of town. I
- 45:11Speaker 5: had to wait like weeks to get it. Was that
- 45:13Speaker 5: one was hard to get.
- 45:14Speaker 1: Do you see the plane crash in Maine? No private jet,
- 45:17Speaker 1: a business jet carrying eight people crashed try and take
- 45:19Speaker 1: off in bang Remaine last night. The twin engine Challenger
- 45:22Speaker 1: six hundred went down shortly after taking off from Bangor
- 45:25Speaker 1: National Airport run seven forty five pm Eastern Time. The
- 45:28Speaker 1: airport was closed after the crash. Weather conditions at the
- 45:30Speaker 1: time it cleared a temperature of about two degrees and
- 45:33Speaker 1: windshill of minus thirteen and lights snow. They're investigating the cause,
- 45:36Speaker 1: NBC News.
- 45:37Speaker 5: They all die.
- 45:38Speaker 1: Yeah, I think so. But none of that screams weather.
- 45:40Speaker 1: It's creating a problem unless the weather had created a
- 45:44Speaker 1: problem in the plane already that wasn't addressed. But it
- 45:47Speaker 1: doesn't say why. I saw that Super Bowl sixty, as
- 45:51Speaker 1: we mentioned, is a rematch from eleven years ago and
- 45:55Speaker 1: now one worked out in your favor. As a Patriot fan,
- 45:57Speaker 1: what do you hear about that game? Do you think
- 45:59Speaker 1: it was over when it was like on the one
- 46:00Speaker 1: yard line and all they had to do is give
- 46:01Speaker 1: to Marshawn for the win?
- 46:03Speaker 5: Oh?
- 46:03Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean we as a Boston fan, We've been
- 46:07Speaker 6: through many big games, and that game stick out the
- 46:09Speaker 6: most to me, just because it.
- 46:11Speaker 7: Was the ultimate low to the ultimate high like that.
- 46:15Speaker 6: And I just remember Malcolm Butler picking it and you
- 46:18Speaker 6: just couldn't believe it, and I think I flipped the table.
- 46:20Speaker 7: I was so excited.
- 46:22Speaker 1: I remember that game. I was at my condo in
- 46:25Speaker 1: downtown Nashville, and I just remember the interception be like
- 46:29Speaker 1: what like it was over just hand the ball, hand
- 46:32Speaker 1: the ball, Marshawn Lynch.
- 46:33Speaker 5: Did we have a party, Yeah, there was the one
- 46:37Speaker 5: one that we had a party of your house at
- 46:38Speaker 5: that condo.
- 46:40Speaker 1: Possibly maybe everybody had gone home by then though for
- 46:42Speaker 1: the most part maybe. But yeah, that's what's up. All right,
- 46:45Speaker 1: that's the episode. Thank you everybody for being here at
- 46:48Speaker 1: anything else before you.
- 46:49Speaker 5: Go, no, man, just oh oh. I ended up helping
- 46:53Speaker 5: my wife with that concession stand. I was telling you
- 46:54Speaker 5: guys about, Yeah, at a basketball game. By the way,
- 46:57Speaker 5: high school basketball games they go off. I had no idea.
- 47:01Speaker 5: I'd never really been to a high school basketball game,
- 47:03Speaker 5: but like apparently the two teams that were playing were
- 47:05Speaker 5: like both undefeated, and I feel like the whole town
- 47:08Speaker 5: was there. Really it was really really cool, and my
- 47:11Speaker 5: wife worked the concession stand and dude, she made she
- 47:14Speaker 5: said she made like two thousand dollars. She didn't well
- 47:17Speaker 5: the school did.
- 47:17Speaker 1: Yeah, you made it sound like she did. You made
- 47:19Speaker 1: it sound like she's running the drug ring. I think
- 47:21Speaker 1: got the snowboarder.
- 47:23Speaker 5: Dude. The game was what like an hour and a
- 47:25Speaker 5: half long, at most two hours. She said she made
- 47:29Speaker 5: the concession stand made two thousand dollars selling popcorn, pizza,
- 47:33Speaker 5: and skittles. Unbelievable And we need to get in the
- 47:36Speaker 5: concession business.
- 47:37Speaker 1: But you can't just get into accession business because they
- 47:39Speaker 1: do it for charity for the most part, or for
- 47:41Speaker 1: the school.
- 47:42Speaker 5: How can you get into it though? Can you go?
- 47:43Speaker 5: Do you know how they have soccer games at the park,
- 47:46Speaker 5: like youth soccer.
- 47:47Speaker 1: Did you put a little thing on like a little
- 47:49Speaker 1: board on.
- 47:49Speaker 5: Your on Peanuts, Nichols, Peanuts all that, dude. If she's
- 47:54Speaker 5: making two thousand and two hours, we can make a
- 47:56Speaker 5: lot of money doing that, Kevin, anything from you? Yeah.
- 48:00Speaker 6: We talked to Abby earlier and I wanted to ask
- 48:02Speaker 6: her if she I texted her after the game yesterday
- 48:05Speaker 6: I said, hey, can you get a picture for me
- 48:07Speaker 6: of the trophy championship ceremony going on?
- 48:12Speaker 7: And she never texted me back, so I want to
- 48:13Speaker 7: see if she got that picture or not.
- 48:15Speaker 1: If I were her, I.
- 48:16Speaker 5: Would have left.
- 48:17Speaker 3: No.
- 48:17Speaker 5: It sounded like she had to get out of there
- 48:18Speaker 5: pretty quick.
- 48:19Speaker 1: If it's not my team, I am getting out of
- 48:21Speaker 1: there quick. I'm out all right, Thank you guys. Hope
- 48:25Speaker 1: you have a great rest of the day. Hope you
- 48:27Speaker 1: have a great week. Hope you safe, Hope you're warm.
- 48:29Speaker 1: And now I got to go back to home where
- 48:32Speaker 1: it's cold or we sit next to a fireplace. I
- 48:35Speaker 1: just got a text to Sam. They don't think the
- 48:37Speaker 1: power is going to be up possibly this week.
- 48:39Speaker 5: I just saw an article come out about that they're
- 48:42Speaker 5: looking like the end of the week for power to
- 48:43Speaker 5: come back. Honestly, man, you look at what we saw
- 48:47Speaker 5: driving in like, I don't think the power company knows
- 48:50Speaker 5: where to start. There are so many power lines down.
- 48:53Speaker 5: Where do you even start to fix this thing?
- 48:55Speaker 1: Crazy? Thank you guys. We will see you later on
- 48:58Speaker 1: this week, and I think that'll do a blold whistle.
- 49:01Speaker 1: All right, see you guys next week. Byebody theme song
