- 0:12Speaker 2: one of my.
- 0:13Speaker 1: Dearest friends on the planet.
- 0:15Speaker 2: I have Michelle say your last name, Michelle sonny E
- 0:19Speaker 2: sonny E. I love the way she says it. It's
- 0:21Speaker 2: so hot. Okay, so we're here at Bravocon. It's your
- 0:24Speaker 2: first ever Bravocon. What are you thinking?
- 0:27Speaker 3: Oh my god, I think it's going to be madness,
- 0:29Speaker 3: But I don't know what to expect. I always go
- 0:31Speaker 3: into it just like go with the flow, see what
- 0:33Speaker 3: it's like. There's a lot of people I don't know,
- 0:36Speaker 3: So I'm excited to like make new friends.
- 0:38Speaker 2: Yeah, like become part of the Bravo family, where like
- 0:42Speaker 2: you see people and it's like they know you even
- 0:45Speaker 2: though you've never met, and you know them because you
- 0:47Speaker 2: guys watch each other's shows and it's like, yeah, come
- 0:49Speaker 2: to dinner and you're like okay, and it's.
- 0:51Speaker 4: Kind of cool.
- 0:52Speaker 3: I just already like met a few people in the
- 0:53Speaker 3: elevator and it's nice.
- 0:55Speaker 1: I love that. I have to tell you guys.
- 0:57Speaker 2: Michelle has been sending outfits the past forty eight hours
- 1:01Speaker 2: and it hasn't ended.
- 1:02Speaker 1: It hasn't ended.
- 1:04Speaker 2: Janet and I are on the plane here, yeah, and
- 1:06Speaker 2: Michelle sends a text and she's like, what about this?
- 1:09Speaker 2: Janet and I were dying. We were like, it's done, babe,
- 1:11Speaker 2: we're here.
- 1:12Speaker 4: We're here.
- 1:13Speaker 3: But I figured out my outfits. I think it's very
- 1:16Speaker 3: important to look good and I don't know what to
- 1:18Speaker 3: wear for what?
- 1:20Speaker 1: Have we worked it out? Though?
- 1:22Speaker 4: No?
- 1:22Speaker 2: The lace look for the panel? Okay, I think I
- 1:24Speaker 2: changed my mind because that you want to be fun
- 1:27Speaker 2: for Okay, the black blazer another time? Are you nervous
- 1:30Speaker 2: for the panel?
- 1:32Speaker 4: Not at all?
- 1:33Speaker 3: No, I just really I feel like we've just finished
- 1:36Speaker 3: season three filming Season three, we've done a reunion.
- 1:39Speaker 4: I'm like, how hard can a panel be? I don't know.
- 1:41Speaker 2: I love this mindset right there's I don't know exactly
- 1:46Speaker 2: how many people are in the room. I want to
- 1:48Speaker 2: give maybe like a three to five hundred maybe more.
- 1:52Speaker 4: Really really eat a five hundred people?
- 1:56Speaker 2: Yes, Okay, what is it like for you being on TV?
- 2:00Speaker 1: Do you enjoy it? Was it a shock?
- 2:03Speaker 4: Thank you?
- 2:04Speaker 3: I enjoy it It's funny watching yourself back. You learn
- 2:07Speaker 3: little quirky things about yourself. I didn't realize what an
- 2:12Speaker 3: accent I had. I thought this is just how people talk.
- 2:14Speaker 3: And then when I hear people say I talk different
- 2:18Speaker 3: or have an accent or whatever, now I see it.
- 2:20Speaker 3: I'm like, oh, how did no one ever notice? How
- 2:23Speaker 3: did I not notice that? And how did no one
- 2:25Speaker 3: ever tell me?
- 2:26Speaker 2: Because that's normal when you're talking to someone. It wouldn't
- 2:29Speaker 2: be normal for them to be like you, you talk
- 2:31Speaker 2: differently than I do. Yeah, But when you open yourself
- 2:34Speaker 2: up to the audience, they no longer look at you
- 2:36Speaker 2: as like a real person. You're someone that they watch
- 2:39Speaker 2: on TV that they feel like they can critique and
- 2:41Speaker 2: pick at. And it's strange, Like, what is one of
- 2:45Speaker 2: the words that you didn't realize you were saying in
- 2:47Speaker 2: a weird way?
- 2:50Speaker 4: Disaster and threatened?
- 2:52Speaker 1: Threatened?
- 2:53Speaker 2: That's the one she says, threatened instead of threatened.
- 2:57Speaker 4: Right, it is hard threatened?
- 2:59Speaker 1: I get it? Can I tell you?
- 3:00Speaker 2: When I introduced myself, is Lauren? Like I can't even
- 3:03Speaker 2: say my own name anymore? I'm like, Lauren does sound
- 3:06Speaker 2: It does roll off the tongue a little bit.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Easier.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Yeah. I didn't realize that I had a k Whenever
- 3:11Speaker 2: there's a G like, I say, thinking, see I just
- 3:14Speaker 2: did it.
- 3:14Speaker 4: Oh you did Yeah, okay, and.
- 3:16Speaker 2: Feel like you know that that's really bad and you
- 3:18Speaker 2: should fix that. I'm like, yeah, my dad told me
- 3:20Speaker 2: that years ago, but I never did. Who gives a shit?
- 3:23Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 3:24Speaker 2: Do you enjoy it? Are you enjoying it? Are you
- 3:27Speaker 2: enjoying not saying words wrong?
- 3:29Speaker 3: I'm enjoying it more. I was very uncomfortable my first season.
- 3:33Speaker 3: I never wanted to be an actress. I'd never been
- 3:36Speaker 3: in front of a camera, so it was like very
- 3:39Speaker 3: awkward and you could see that I didn't know what
- 3:41Speaker 3: to say or do. And now it just feels like
- 3:43Speaker 3: it's part of life and it's just following us.
- 3:47Speaker 1: So you feel like season three you were able to
- 3:50Speaker 1: be more of yourself.
- 3:52Speaker 4: Definitely, Yes.
- 3:53Speaker 1: And the cameras you were just there.
- 3:55Speaker 3: I completely for yeah, I zoned it out, completely forgot
- 3:57Speaker 3: they're there. And all I could think about season one
- 4:00Speaker 3: is like, oh my god, there's a couple cameras and
- 4:03Speaker 3: staring at me.
- 4:04Speaker 2: Right. Yeah, So you are overthinking the first couple of
- 4:07Speaker 2: seasons for sure. What has been the hardest thing about
- 4:10Speaker 2: filming a reality TV show.
- 4:13Speaker 3: The hardest part is having certain conversations that I don't
- 4:17Speaker 3: want to have, or hanging out with certain people on
- 4:20Speaker 3: certain days that I don't want to. I wouldn't typically
- 4:23Speaker 3: hang out with my ex husband all the time at
- 4:27Speaker 3: every party, and we have to do that.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Do you think that it's been good for your co
- 4:34Speaker 1: parenting relationship.
- 4:37Speaker 3: He's better at dividing it than I departmentalize better.
- 4:41Speaker 4: Yes. I take things very personal.
- 4:44Speaker 3: If he treats me a certain way off camera or
- 4:47Speaker 3: on camera, like I think it's all one and he
- 4:50Speaker 3: doesn't agree with that. Okay, Yeah, I'm like, always be nice,
- 4:55Speaker 3: don't be nice just off camera or on camera, Like,
- 4:58Speaker 3: however you want to be, that's how you should be.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Okay, that makes sense to me.
- 5:04Speaker 2: I feel like as you start going, because I didn't
- 5:08Speaker 2: venture into reality television until season four of vander Pump Rules,
- 5:12Speaker 2: so they were a very well oiled machine. They were
- 5:15Speaker 2: also very young, so the chaos was like nothing because
- 5:18Speaker 2: we were all chaotic at that point in time. Right,
- 5:21Speaker 2: So it is interesting because again I'm.
- 5:25Speaker 1: New to the valley.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Yeah, it is very different than filming vander Pump Rules
- 5:31Speaker 2: because you guys are very new to doing this, but
- 5:35Speaker 2: I have to say I had such a wonderful time
- 5:38Speaker 2: filming a television show with you.
- 5:40Speaker 4: I did too.
- 5:41Speaker 3: I honestly can't even imagine season three without you.
- 5:45Speaker 2: You and I feel like you've come into your own
- 5:47Speaker 2: so much. I'm so excited for people to see it.
- 5:50Speaker 4: Thanks. I'm looking forward to it too.
- 5:52Speaker 1: I know. Yeah, No, you're like a new person, Michelle.
- 5:54Speaker 4: We had a lot of good times we did.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Yeah, And I always say, like, I remember saying this
- 6:00Speaker 2: on the but it's always on a fucking butt the
- 6:03Speaker 2: bus on Vanner Pump Rules. I think it was season six.
- 6:06Speaker 2: I was like, you, guys, I want us to like,
- 6:07Speaker 2: even though we're beefing with each other, I want us
- 6:09Speaker 2: to enjoy this moment because there's gonna be a day
- 6:12Speaker 2: that we blink and we're no longer on this show,
- 6:14Speaker 2: and like, this is fucking cool. And I had moments
- 6:18Speaker 2: like that with you guys. Yeah, already my first season
- 6:21Speaker 2: in being like, wow, I'm like really enjoying this and
- 6:25Speaker 2: I'm gonna lean into it because even though it is
- 6:27Speaker 2: you have to have the hard conversations.
- 6:29Speaker 1: It's so fucking fun. It should be fun and cool.
- 6:32Speaker 3: It is, and I appreciated you saying that because I
- 6:35Speaker 3: took a step back and like close my eyes. I'm like,
- 6:37Speaker 3: this is a beautiful moment that we get to experience together.
- 6:41Speaker 1: It is. Yeah, I'm very excited to like be with
- 6:44Speaker 1: you on this journey for real.
- 6:45Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 6:46Speaker 2: You're a wonderful person. I love that you and I
- 6:48Speaker 2: have gotten so close. I'm thrilled that you did my
- 6:51Speaker 2: podcast of course anytime, and now I'm gonna send you for.
- 6:54Speaker 3: You and get to Vegas and do a podcast immediately.
- 6:58Speaker 2: I'm gonna send you off into the Vegas night, but
- 7:00Speaker 2: you have to do a bonus first. Thank you guys
- 7:02Speaker 2: for listening to another episode of Untraditionally La.
- 7:05Speaker 1: I was gonna say Lalie.
- 7:08Speaker 2: I was thinking, oh fuck, I have to sign Michelle
- 7:11Speaker 2: off and I forgot her last name again, so I
- 7:13Speaker 2: said Lalie Untraditionally La La with Michelle sonny.
- 7:18Speaker 1: E, sonny E. We'll catch you on the bonus.
- 7:20Speaker 4: Bye.
