Welcome to Bible. Chat where we have.

Devotional conversations rooted in Scripture and relevant for.

Today, April 12th. The right path, not every.
• 0:12
Path that feels right is actually right.
• 0:16
That can be hard to accept. Especially when our feelings
• 0:19
feel strong and our choices seem reasonable in the moment.
• 0:23
Proverbs. Chapter 14 Verse. 12 says there
• 0:26
is a way that seems. Right to a man, but it's end is
• 0:29
the way to. Death that is a.
• 0:30
Serious warning, it reminds us that instinct alone is not
• 0:34
  enough. Sincerity.
• 0:36
Is not the same as wisdom. You can feel sure and still be
• 0:39
heading in the wrong direction. That is why Psalm 100. 18 verse
• 0:44
8 says it is better to take refuge in the Lord.
• 0:47
Than to trust in man when life gets confusing, we often lean on
• 0:52
our own understanding or the opinions of other.
• 0:54
People we trust. What is trending, what is
• 0:57
convenient, or what makes us feel safe in the moment?
• 1:01
But God. Offers something better than
• 1:02
  human. Guesswork, he offers Truth.
• 1:05
He offers direction. He offers a refuge.
• 1:08
That does not shift when our emotions do.
• 1:11
Jesus also teaches. In Mark chapter. 12 that God.
• 1:14
'S Kingdom does not work like the.
• 1:16
World expects. His way often looks different
• 1:19
from the path people naturally choose.
• 1:22
The world says push ahead, protect yourself.
• 1:24
Prove yourself and get to the top.
• 1:27
Jesus teaches humility, love, surrender, and obedience.
• 1:31
His path may not. Always look easiest, but it
• 1:33
always leads to life. Maybe there is an area in your
• 1:37
life right now where something. Seems right.
• 1:40
But you have not really. Brought it before God, maybe?
• 1:43
  It is a. Relationship A.
• 1:45
Habit. A decision or a direction you
• 1:47
  are considering? Slow down.
• 1:49
Ask. The Lord to search it, let his
• 1:52
word. Shape your steps more than your
• 1:53
feelings do. The right path is not always the
• 1:56
most popular 1 and it is not always the one that makes
• 2:00
  immediate sense. But when God.
• 2:02
Leads you can trust where he. Is taking you.
• 2:05
His wisdom sees. Farther than you can.
• 2:08
Let's pray. Heavenly Father, help me not to
• 2:10
trust only what seems right to me.
• 2:13
Teach me to bring my. Choices before you.
• 2:15
And to seek your wisdom above my own understanding when I feel
• 2:19
  unsure. Be my refuge.
• 2:21
Lead me on the path that honors you and protects my heart.
• 2:25
Give me humility to follow your way even when it looks different
• 2:28
  from what the. World expects.
• 2:30
In Jesus name, Amen. What if you could rise up and
• 2:37
declare with full spiritual authority, I shall not die, but

Yes, they surrounded me. In Yahweh's name I indeed cut
• 4:44
them off. They surrounded me like bees.
• 4:47
They are quenched like the burning thorns.
• 4:49
In Yahweh's name, I cut them off.

• 4:54
helped me. Yah is my strength in song.

Rejoicing and salvation is in the tense of the righteous.

  the. Sacrifice with cords.

  His loving kindness endures forever.
• 6:13
Mark Chapter 12 World English Bible.
• 6:16
He began to speak to them in parables.
• 6:19
A man planted a vineyard, put a hedge around it, dug a pit for
• 6:23
the wine press. Built a tower, rented it out to.
• 6:26
A farmer and went into another country.
• 6:29
When it was time, he sent a servant to the farmer to get
• 6:32
from the farmer his share of the fruit of the vineyard.
• 6:34
They took him, beat him, and sent him away empty.
• 6:39
Again he sent another servant to them, and they threw stones at
• 6:42
him, wounded him in the head, and sent him away shamefully.
• 6:45
Treated again, he. Sent another and they killed him
• 6:49
and many others, beating some and killing some.
• 6:52
Therefore, still having one his beloved son, he sent him last to
• 6:56
them, saying they will respect my son.
• 6:59
But those farmers said among themselves.
• 7:01
This is the. Air come, let's kill him and the
• 7:04
inheritance will be ours. They took him, killed him and
• 7:08
cast him out of the vineyard. What therefore, will the Lord of
• 7:11
  the Vineyard do? He will.
• 7:13
Come and destroy the farmers and will give the vineyard to
• 7:16
  others. Haven't you even?
• 7:18
Read this scripture the stone which the builders.
• 7:20
Rejected was made the head of the corner.
• 7:23
This was from the Lord. It is marvelous in our eyes.
• 7:26
They. Tried to seize him, but they
• 7:28
feared the multitude. For they perceived that he
• 7:30
  spoke. The parable against them.
• 7:32
They left him and went away. They sent some of the Pharisees
• 7:36
and the Herodians to him, that they might trap him with words.
• 7:41
When they had come, they asked him.
• 7:43
Teacher, we know that you are honest and don't defer to
• 7:45
  anyone. For you aren't.
• 7:47
Partial to anyone but truly. Teach the way of God.
• 7:51
Is it lawful to pay taxes? To Caesar or not?
• 7:53
Shall we give? Or shall we not give?
• 7:56
But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said to them, Why do you test
• 7:59
me? Bring me a denarius that I may
• 8:01
  see it. They brought it.
• 8:04
He said to them, Whose is this image and inscription?
• 8:07
They said to him, Caesar. S Jesus.
• 8:10
Answered. Them render to Caesar the things
• 8:12
  that are Caesar. S.
• 8:14
And to God, the things that are gods.
• 8:16
They marveled greatly at him some.
• 8:19
Sadducees who say. That there is no resurrection
• 8:22
came to him, they asked him saying teacher.
• 8:25
Moses wrote to us. If a man's brother dies and
• 8:28
leaves a wife behind him and leaves no children.
• 8:32
That his brother should take his.
• 8:33
Wife and raise up offspring for his brother there were 7.
• 8:36
Brothers the 1st. Took a wife and dying left no
• 8:40
offspring. The second took her and died,
• 8:43
leaving no children behind him. The third likewise.
• 8:46
And the seven took her and left no children.
• 8:50
Last of all, the woman also died in the resurrection when they.
• 8:53
Rise, whose wife? Will she be of them for the
• 8:57
seven had? Her as a wife, Jesus.
• 8:59
  Answered them. Isn't this because?
• 9:01
You are mistaken, not knowing the scriptures nor the power.
• 9:04
Of God for. When they will rise?
• 9:06
From the dead. They neither marry nor are given
• 9:09
  in marriage. But are like.
• 9:10
Angels in heaven. But about the dead that they are
• 9:14
raised. Haven't you read In the Book of
• 9:15
Moses? About the Bush, how God spoke.
• 9:18
To him saying, I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and
• 9:21
  the God. Of Jacob.
• 9:23
He is not the God. Of the dead.
• 9:25
But of the living. You are therefore.
• 9:28
Badly mistaken, one of the scribes came and heard them
• 9:31
questioning together, and knowing that he had answered
• 9:34
them well, asked him Which commandment is the greatest of
• 9:38
  all? Jesus answered.
• 9:39
The greatest is here Israel, the Lord our God, the.
• 9:42
Lord is 1. You shall love the Lord your God
• 9:46
with all your heart, with all your soul.
• 9:48
With all your mind and with all your strength.
• 9:50
This. Is the first commandment the?
• 9:53
2nd is like this, you shall. Love your neighbor as yourself.
• 9:57
There is no. Other commandment greater than.
• 9:58
These the scribe. Said to him.
• 10:01
Truly, teacher, you have said. Well that he is 1 and there is
• 10:05
none other but he and to love him with.
• 10:07
All the heart. With all the understanding, all
• 10:10
the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his
• 10:12
neighbor as himself is more important than all whole burnt
• 10:17
  offerings and sacrifices. When Jesus?
• 10:19
Saw that he answered wisely. He said to him, You are not far
• 10:24
from God's Kingdom. No one dared ask him any
• 10:26
question after that. Jesus responded as he taught in
• 10:31
  the temple. How is?
• 10:32
It that the scribes say that the Christ?
• 10:34
Is the Son of David, for David himself said in the Holy.
• 10:38
Spirit. The Lord said to my Lord, sit at
• 10:40
my right hand until I make your enemies the footstool.
• 10:43
Of your feet. Therefore David himself calls
• 10:46
  him. Lord, so how?
• 10:48
Can he be his son? The common people heard him
• 10:51
gladly in his teaching, he said to them.
• 10:54
Beware of the scribes who like to.
• 10:56
Walk in long robes and to get greetings in the marketplaces
• 11:01
and to get the best seats in the synagogues and the best.
• 11:03
Places at feasts those who devour widows houses.
• 11:07
And for a pretense, make long prayers.
• 11:10
  These will receive. Greater condemnation.
• 11:13
Jesus sat down opposite the treasury and saw how the
• 11:16
multitude cast money into the treasury.
• 11:18
Many who were rich cast in much. A poor widow came, and she cast
• 11:23
in two small brass coins. Which equal.
• 11:25
  A quadrants coin. He called.
• 11:28
His disciples to himself, and said to them, most certainly I
• 11:31
  tell. You this poor.
• 11:33
Widow gave more than all those who are giving in to the
• 11:35
  Treasury. For they all.
• 11:36
Gave out of their abundance. But she, out of her poverty,
• 11:40
gave all that. She had to live on.
