I was shocked, shocked to learn this silver and gold prices that
• 0:10
you will not believe. We've got major developments in
• 0:15
the precious metals markets, in particular with silver and with
• 0:20
Russia. If you're anything like me, I
• 0:22
grew up in the 80s and we were taught to be afraid of the
• 0:27
Russians. Is that still the case right
• 0:29
now? And from a silver investors
• 0:32
perspective, should we be afraid of them or should we just be on
• 0:36
top of what they're doing because what they're doing has
• 0:39
potential to reshape the precious metals market?
• 0:43
In this video, we're going to go through the reasons why and why
• 0:48
you as a silver and gold investor can be very optimistic
• 0:52
about future price appreciation for your favorite and gold
• 0:57
medal. Let's get started right now.
• 1:08
Russia truly has the potential to reshape the precious metals
• 1:12
markets. Let's start by considering this.
• 1:15
Russia is now considered to be the 4th largest economy in the
• 1:20
world. Let's run out to this excellent
• 1:22
brief post by our friend Gunter, who says the International
• 1:27
Monetary Fund now ranks. Russia is the world's fourth
• 1:31
largest economy based on purchasing power parity Russia's
• 1:36
GDP bypassed to the Japan in 2024.
• 1:41
The four leading economies include a declining United
• 1:47
States and three rising BRICS countries, China, India, and
• 1:52
  Russia. This report actually ranked
• 1:55
China as a bigger economy than the United States.
• 1:58
Again, that was based on purchasing power parity and that
• 2:02
was from the International Monetary Fund.
• 2:05
Do you see a trend as to where things are going next?
• 2:09
We get news that Russia is starting their own precious
• 2:13
metals exchange. Here's a headline from Kitco
• 2:18
telling us Russia will create a new bricks precious metals
• 2:23
exchange to become key regulator of prices.
• 2:28
That's according to the Russian Finance ministry.
• 2:31
What is this telling us? This is telling us that Russia
• 2:35
wants to take control of the precious metals.
• 2:37
We've heard this from them in the past, that they complain
• 2:41
about the price for silver and gold on the COMEX in the LBMA.
• 2:46
  All the leverage, everything else.
• 2:48
Another strong move by Russia, right, to grasp more and more
• 2:53
control of the precious metals prices, including silver and
• 2:57
gold. It's even more astounding when
• 3:00
we hear that Russia is now the first country to officially
• 3:04
announce that as a country, they will start buying silver.
• 3:09
Here's a headline from Numismatic News.
• 3:12
Russia's central bank to acquire silver reserves.
• 3:18
Again, guys, this is the first central bank, the first country
• 3:22
in the world in a long, long time to talk about acquiring
• 3:27
silver as a reserve asset. This draft federal budget for
• 3:33
the coming year this is happening includes plans for the
• 3:37
nation's central bank to continue adding gold, platinum
• 3:40
and Palladium reserves and acquire silver for the first
• 3:46
time. Are you starting to get the
• 3:49
feeling that Russia is making some big moves in the precious
• 3:53
metals markets, in the silver market in particular?
• 3:57
And think about this within the context of the world
• 4:01
bifurcating. You know about the bricks,
• 4:03
right? But who's the leader of the
• 4:06
bricks? Let's check out this recent
• 4:08
article because this is all going on within a backdrop of a
• 4:13
rapidly changing world. This came from our friends at
• 4:16
the Geopolitical economy.com BRICS plan a multi currency
• 4:21
system to challenge U.S. dollar dominance Understanding Russia's
• 4:27
proposal, the BRICS cross-border Payment initiative will use
• 4:30
national currencies instead of the US dollar.
• 4:34
Russia's finance ministry and central bank released a report
• 4:38
detailing plans to transform the International Monetary and
• 4:43
financial system. And we all know there's great
• 4:47
speculation and some would say even evidence that precious
• 4:51
metals will play a pivotal role as the systems develop.
• 4:56
Remember a few years back when President Joe Biden said they
• 5:00
were going to turn the ruble into rubble?
• 5:03
It sure doesn't feel like it worked out that way.
• 5:05
Now look, I'm a patriotic American, don't forget, right?
• 5:08
I've got my very own self waving American flag.
• 5:12
But Russia, they seem to be the leader of the bricks and a
• 5:17
leader in realizing that precious metals are real money.
• 5:22
If you want to get your hands on some real money, gold, silver,
• 5:26
platinum, group metals, please support channel sponsor Pimbex
• 5:30
Pi MB EX. It's fun to spell, it's fun to
• 5:34
say. It's even more fun when you save
• 5:37
a lot of money when you buy precious metals.
• 5:40
That's what I experienced. If you give them a shot, I think
• 5:44
  you'll experience the same thing.
• 5:45
They always have ultra competitive pricing, great
• 5:48
selection, and most importantly, they're a company that you can
• 5:53
trust. I'll never tell you what to do,
• 5:55
but next time you're shopping for some metals online, do
• 5:58
yourself a favor and check out Pin Backs.
• 6:01
Now, what about Russia's overall financial condition?
• 6:05
I was shocked, shocked to learn this.
• 6:10
Let's go out to our trusty friend, the US debt clock.
• 6:14
Because it's not just the US debt clock.
• 6:17
They also have a world debt clock.
• 6:20
And as you can see, $36 trillion in debt.
• 6:24
You ever wonder how much debt Russia has?
• 6:27
Remember, they're the 4th largest economy in the world
• 6:31
according to the IMF. If we go all the way down, look
• 6:35
at all that to Russia. Russia doesn't have trillions in
• 6:40
debt. No, Russia does have some debt.
• 6:42
They have 434 billion. I want you to remember that
• 6:47
number. And from a like ratio
• 6:49
perspective, their public debt to GDP 20%, external debt to GDP
• 6:55
27%. Compared to the good old USA,
• 6:58
well, you know, our debt levels are blowing through the ceiling,
• 7:02
but that's not the astounding part.
• 7:04
I did some math and please correct me if I'm wrong, but
• 7:08
when I divided 400 and so billion of Russia's debt by 36
• 7:13
trillion of the United States, I came to an answer that was
• 7:18
shocking. Russia really only has one or 2%
• 7:24
of the debt that the United States has.
• 7:26
Now granted, our economy is substantially bigger, but our
• 7:30
debt level is close to what, 7580 times bigger, 75 or 80
• 7:36
times bigger compared to Russia. So when we talk about them
• 7:40
making these moves within the precious metal sector, we have
• 7:45
to accept the fact that their economy is quite strong and
• 7:50
right from a balance sheet perspective, from the
• 7:52
perspective of of real economic strength, they're in a little
• 7:56
better shape than the United States.
• 7:58
It's going to be interesting to see how this all plays out.
• 8:01
Hey, I'm rooting for the United States.
• 8:03
I'm rooting for our politicians to come to their senses and to
• 8:08
start dealing with things like the deficit in the debt levels
• 8:12
here in the United States, right?
• 8:14
That's beyond our control. What we can control is moves
• 8:18
that we make with our financial assets to help protect ourselves
• 8:22
from what could be some unpleasant times in the future,
• 8:27
if indeed this debt spiral that we find ourselves in continues
• 8:32
to worsen. And without any action by our
• 8:34
politicians, that's the only outcome that I can see.
• 8:38
