- 0:11[SPEAKER_01]: Since 1938, we've been sharing clear and powerful gospel tracks, completely free, helping churches and individuals bring the Word of God to all the world.
- 0:26[SPEAKER_01]: Today, join Evangelist Micah McCurry as we dive into God's Word together.
- 0:33[SPEAKER_01]: Stay tuned to learn how you can explore our gospel tracks and resources online.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_01]: And now, here's Evangelist Micah McCurry.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_00]: Hey friend, welcome back to Bible Attract Echoes.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you so much for listening today.
- 0:53[SPEAKER_00]: I'm Mike and McCurray, your host.
- 0:55[SPEAKER_00]: I have the privilege to serve alongside here at Bible Tracks Incorporated some wonderful folks.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_00]: And I could talk to you about Austin Marriott.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_00]: He runs Paul of Ian Studios Forest.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_00]: Does a lot of music recording.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_00]: There's a wonderful job of that.
- 1:09[SPEAKER_00]: I could talk to you about Todd Lothbaum.
- 1:11[SPEAKER_00]: If you have ever received tracts from us, it's very likely Todd Lothbaum had them in his hands at some point because he does the vast majority of our fulfillment.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_00]: He also handles just so much of the financial side of the ministry.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_00]: He just kind of helps out with the operations, a set of things.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_00]: Ethan McCurray, he has the same last name as me because he's my youngest brother.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_00]: And he customizes and designs, does a wonderful job customizing tracks and offering envelopes in church websites and apps, and all sorts of different things, he's helped out dozens of churches, maybe hundreds of churches with their custom design needs.
- 1:47[SPEAKER_00]: and then there's Cameron wedge.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_00]: Cameron is just incredible.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_00]: That guy has a motor like you wouldn't believe.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_00]: He is just go, go, go.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_00]: It's often that I've knocked on his door, popped my head in, and he's on his lunch break, and he's watching some kind of training video, learning how to be even better at what he does, creating gospel films.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_00]: That guy loves what he does.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_00]: I asked
- 2:17[SPEAKER_00]: beyond the bend, Alaska expedition film that we are working on.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_00]: Cameron has put his heart and soul into this.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_00]: I want to explain just a little bit about what this is through his own through his words, so I'm gonna share with you what he said.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_00]: Cameron said, I have been trying to figure out how to share my heart about this project for a while, but I cannot find a way to do
- 2:47[SPEAKER_00]: Here are some of the thoughts that have been on my mind about beyond the bend.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_00]: For years, Cameron said, I've heard Christians talk about how little there is to watch that it's clean, trustworthy, and actually worth their time.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_00]: While many talk about the problem,
- 3:07[SPEAKER_00]: What I do not see nearly as often as people stepping up to create worthwhile productions, or invest in those who are trying to do so.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_00]: Though he does say many Christians do quote unquote invest in subscriptions to Netflix and Amazon Prime and things like that.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_00]: This is a big part of why this film Cameron says matters to me.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_00]: Almost a year ago, Micah, he's referring to me, and I learned about a team of men preparing for a 10 day, 800 mile expedition down the Yukon River in Alaska to take the gospel to villages that have had little to no gospel preached to them ever.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_00]: Along with experienced men in ministry, there will be young men on this trip, who are trying to figure out where God wants them in the long term.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_00]: One of them is Christian Adams, the main subject of our film.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_00]: There is nothing about Christian that necessarily makes him different from any other young man.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_00]: He's not uniquely wired for something extreme.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_00]: He is simply willing to say yes to whatever God asks of him.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_00]: And that's the point.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_00]: If a young man like Christian can take steps toward a life of obedience in one of the hardest mission fields in our country, and really, you don't want to say the world.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_00]: Alaska is not a hospitable place depending on where you are at.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_00]: Then others can too.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_00]: But that kind of thinking does not just happen on its own.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_00]: People are constantly being shaped by what they watch.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_00]: If that's true, then we should be creating things that actually point them in the right direction.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_00]: And BTI, that is what we're trying to do.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_00]: not just make content, but tell real stories, in a way that people will actually engage with and be challenged by.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_00]: One of those common things people tell me after working with us is, I had no idea how much work goes into something like this, and they're right.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_00]: They have already been hundreds of hours invested in this project, and there will be many hundreds more ahead.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_00]: Planings started long before we ever picked up a camera, filming in remote Alaska brings real challenges, and everything from gear, audio, power, electricity, storage, travel, and distribution has to be handled well.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_00]: Projects like this do not happen without real investment.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_00]: We've already seen God provide through people stepping into help.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_00]: One man, after hearing about the project, immediately wrote a $1,500 check to be a part of it.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_00]: Not everyone can do that, but many people can do something.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_00]: If this is something you believe in, I'd ask you to take a few moments to visit beyond the bendfilm.com.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_00]: Pray about whether you would be willing to be a part of making it happen.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_00]: sincerely for I knew it would mean much to me if you would watch the trailer and learn a little bit more about what we are doing through this effort beyond the bendfilm.com.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_00]: Ken Burns will known filmmaker said this, the stories we tell.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_00]: far more than our technological prowess have been humanity's defining trait.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_00]: Of course, Ken Burns may not be coming at things for a biblical perspective, but there's truth to that.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_00]: Even as our technology advances.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_00]: what do we do with it?
- 6:54[SPEAKER_00]: We use it to tell stories.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_00]: It used to be, and this is the case in Alaska to some degree, it used to be natives, used to be people, it used to be just family groups, gather around a fire, listening to one of their number, tell a story.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_00]: and you know what technology just makes the stories easier to disseminate, easier to distribute, but there's still stories.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_00]: What do we do through radio?
- 7:24[SPEAKER_00]: Well, on this radio program, we tell the story of how good God is.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_00]: We talk about what God is doing.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_00]: We talk about how you can know Him in a greater way.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_00]: But it's done through story.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_00]: And that's what we're trying to do through the gospel film subsidiary of Bible, Tracks, Incorporated, maybe the Lord would lead you to partner with us in some way.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe you'd like to pray for us, maybe like to help finance this film.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_00]: Film is not an inexpensive endeavor, especially when you're trying to do it in a high-quality way.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_00]: I'd encourage you to visit BeyondTheBendFilm.com to learn more about what we're doing.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_00]: Really, what we're doing is we're endeavoring to we're trying to reach everyone in every way possible.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_00]: At BTI, we like to have multiple hooks in the water.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_00]: were able to reach prisoners behind bars with Bible studies.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_00]: Hundreds have already been reached this way this year, actually.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_00]: We still ship millions of tracks worldwide every year, and now we produce incredible high quality gospel film productions.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_00]: God has blessed us with millions of views of our gospel films in 2025, and this year in 2026 Lord willing, I would like to surpass last year's totals.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_00]: We desire to confront God's people with a worldwide need, and that's why we produce a film called Stunning Beauty, Spiritual Darkness.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_00]: And then this one coming up beyond the bend.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_00]: But our main focus is to reach the lost with the Gospel of Jesus.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_00]: And we've been busy, busy in this area.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_00]: If you visit bibletracksink.org, you can actually find out more by visiting the Gospel
- 9:15[SPEAKER_00]: I encourage you, please take a few moments and see what God has done through this arm of BTI in recent days and consider if God might have you to invest in a future or ongoing project.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it's not just me telling you stories that I like, I like hearing your stories as well.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_00]: Every once in a while, someone will be kind enough to share a testimony of how God has used our tracts, or someone has been saved through the gospel, through one of our gospel films or tracks or things like that testimonies from God's people.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_00]: Here's what Roland had to say, he sent this not long ago, as an unbeliever in my 20s.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_00]: I worked in a grocery store in Marshall, Michigan.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_00]: As I stalked shelves, I would find tracts someone had left, I thought to myself, who is doing this?
- 10:13[SPEAKER_00]: I am quite sure I threw some away to make room for food on the shelves then in 1978.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_00]: God found me, and saved me as I trusted Jesus my Savior.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_00]: Later, I began to see the usefulness of tracks, and also learned who was leaving them in that store.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_00]: I have thanked that lady many times as I see her around town, and have told her my story.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_00]: Now I keep an ample supply of all kinds of gospel tracks on hand.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_00]: I was in charge of the track ministry in my church for many years.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_00]: I leave tracks everywhere.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_00]: I have given one to a pastor of a church, unknowingly, even he was delighted.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_00]: And I prayed that his church might even put up a track track and have its own ministry.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_00]: I encourage my own church family to use tracks at every possible opportunity and to see the great ministry, the worth of passing out tracks.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_00]: He also said this very kind, Roland, you have some of the best tracks at BTI I have ever seen.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you for the variety your ministry produces, Roland.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_00]: First of all, thank you so much for sharing that testimony.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_00]: It's always a blessing to hear how people have accepted Christ and it's wonderful to know that tracks were a part of that story.
- 11:30[SPEAKER_00]: Here's what Susan said, thank you for being on VCUI 107.7FM.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_00]: I drive to work in the morning and listen, I'm a fan.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_00]: The Easter tracks went with gifts in a treat bag.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_00]: I pulled together for the 30 residents and a men's shelter.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_00]: Please pray that they accept Jesus as they mend their lives.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_00]: Susan, thank you for listening, but also thank for using the gospel tracks and using them in a creative way.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_00]: I love that.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_00]: And anonymous donor said this, I think of how maybe I might meet someone in heaven one day who accepted Christ from a tract supplied by this donation that would be great.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_00]: You know that would be pretty awesome.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_00]: And you know there is one that's actually keeping score, it's not so we can glory in it, you know, all the crowns that he gives us, we're going to cast back at his feet.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_00]: But I'm thankful for the fact that we get to have a small part.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm thankful that we will get to know one day what God has done.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_00]: I want to hear your stories, though.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_00]: Have you been impacted by gospel tracks or BTI?
- 12:37[SPEAKER_00]: Have you ever used tracks to reach others?
- 12:40[SPEAKER_00]: Whether it's a powerful testimony, a simple moment, or even photos of tracks in action?
- 12:46[SPEAKER_00]: We'd love to hear about it.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_00]: Send your testimony, send your pictures to info at bibletracksink.org.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_00]: It's an email address, ianfoinfoat.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_00]: BibleTracksink.org your story might be featured in an upcoming newsletter or maybe right here on the Radio.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_00]: If you have something you'd like to send me directly, you can do so text me
- 13:20[SPEAKER_00]: now have to sign off for the rest of the day.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_00]: I'll come back to you tomorrow.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_00]: I'm so thankful for the privilege it is to speak to you this way through the medium of radio.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_00]: I'd encourage you if you were to pray for the Ministry of Bible Tracks Incorporating tomorrow on the broadcast.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to talk just a little bit further about the fact that quality is non-negotiable here at Bible Tracks Incorporating.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_00]: I'll explain more tomorrow.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_00]: Have a great day for his glory.
