- 0:01Speaker 1: Jared Katy and Josh one hundred.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Well, I want to puke right now.
- 0:07Speaker 3: Yeah, I walked back the past the sports station a
- 0:11Speaker 3: little bit ago, and there are sports guys are and
- 0:13Speaker 3: there doing their little sports stuff, points and stats and
- 0:16Speaker 3: points and stats, hitting those balls with the baseball bats.
- 0:20Speaker 2: And Mark Moser is over there.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Love him.
- 0:22Speaker 2: He's a good guy.
- 0:23Speaker 3: He's one of our friends. Knuckles deep in his nose.
- 0:27Speaker 3: Oh no, he is going to town.
- 0:29Speaker 2: He's the same one who did the farmers with you.
- 0:31Speaker 3: And we left that things got boogie fed and put
- 0:36Speaker 3: a little boogie in it.
- 0:41Speaker 2: And then he just walked by. I guarantee you he's
- 0:43Speaker 2: not walking to the bathroom to wash his hands.
- 0:45Speaker 4: Was he so right of sunglasses inside?
- 0:47Speaker 2: I don't know, but he was knuckles deep in there.
- 0:52Speaker 1: I want to you look at no.
- 0:55Speaker 3: But I I've got water out of the fridger in
- 0:59Speaker 3: the kitchen and I went sometimes.
- 1:01Speaker 2: I made it physical, gotta get a p And the
- 1:04Speaker 2: other guys sitting there, they're just sitting there. They don't
- 1:06Speaker 2: even notice.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Normal Tuesday. This is what happens.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Nic Colevardy's in there today too. Take care to special day,
- 1:14Speaker 2: you know what.
- 1:15Speaker 1: I just like they are at home. They feel comfortable
- 1:18Speaker 1: in that studio so much so that everything's blocked out.
- 1:21Speaker 1: He didn't know you were here. He's just like, I
- 1:24Speaker 1: am so comfortable, my hand is in my face.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Thanks for hanging out with us.
- 1:29Speaker 3: You get some riveting content this morning with Jeremy Katie
- 1:32Speaker 3: and Josh Denvers makes one hundred.
- 1:35Speaker 2: I hope you stick around.
- 1:36Speaker 3: At about eight twenty, we're gonna read a listener email
- 1:39Speaker 3: that came in a lady who snapped, Oh she snapped, Yeah,
- 1:44Speaker 3: but it's who she snapped at that is kind of
- 1:46Speaker 3: freaking her out a little bit. So we'll give you
- 1:48Speaker 3: all the details on that. Coming up right around eight
- 1:51Speaker 3: twenty With JK Jay, we got a little fat America
- 1:54Speaker 3: for you. There's some McDonald's hacks out this morning, coming
- 2:00Speaker 3: from somebody who's to work at Mickey D's.
- 2:03Speaker 2: She is saying, if you.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Want fresh fries, not French fries, but fresh fries with
- 2:09Speaker 3: your order, all you have to do is say make
- 2:11Speaker 3: me some fries with no salt, and they've got to
- 2:14Speaker 3: make a special batch for you fresh fries.
- 2:17Speaker 2: But then you don't get the salt on them.
- 2:18Speaker 1: And not only that, but this has been a trick
- 2:21Speaker 1: that's been.
- 2:21Speaker 2: Going on for a long time.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Oh. Having worked at McDonald's when I was younger, I
- 2:25Speaker 1: will tell you when people ask for that immediately makes
- 2:28Speaker 1: everyone mad and they don't go out of their way
- 2:31Speaker 1: to make sure. I'm not saying every McDonald's, you know what,
- 2:33Speaker 1: I would McDonald's, but no.
- 2:35Speaker 3: I would take the fries and I would just lick
- 2:37Speaker 3: each fry, and I would lick the salt off.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Not that they do that.
- 2:42Speaker 3: This is just me personally. If I was working at
- 2:44Speaker 3: a random fast food rush, exactly, just lick the salt off.
- 2:46Speaker 1: But be careful with that one.
- 2:48Speaker 2: The poor Man's Big Mac.
- 2:49Speaker 3: They say, if you order a mcdouble with no ketchup
- 2:52Speaker 3: or mustard, but add the Big Mac sauce and shredded lettuce,
- 2:56Speaker 3: it's cheaper than an actual Big Mac.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Yeah, take one.
- 3:00Speaker 2: The multiple orders hack, I guarantee you they didn't have
- 3:03Speaker 2: this when Katie was there.
- 3:05Speaker 3: It's an app thing, so you have to have multiple
- 3:07Speaker 3: accounts that you circulate through. So you log out, order
- 3:10Speaker 3: the deal, you log back out, log in with a
- 3:14Speaker 3: new name an email, get the deal again.
- 3:17Speaker 2: Log out, log in with a new nail.
- 3:20Speaker 1: It's too much for some McNuggets to down emails. Do
- 3:24Speaker 1: you have? Wow?
- 3:26Speaker 3: So the last thing isn't really a hack, but the
- 3:28Speaker 3: just there's a difference between the folded egg and the
- 3:31Speaker 3: rounded egg. Yeah, I guess there's a pre made folded
- 3:35Speaker 3: egg that they put on their biscuits and make griddles,
- 3:37Speaker 3: So if you want that one, you have to request it.
- 3:39Speaker 3: Other than that, the rounded egg is literally a fresh
- 3:43Speaker 3: cracked egg that goes on the mcmuffins.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Why wouldn't you want the fresh cracked egg with that
- 3:48Speaker 1: fresh crack. That's why I like the mcmuffins, said McDonald's
- 3:50Speaker 1: breakfast sandwiches. Because that's a real egg right there.
- 3:53Speaker 3: Who's these monsters ordering the folded egg coming from the factory.
- 3:58Speaker 3: Why crack me a real Yeah, Ronald.
- 4:01Speaker 1: I want to meat the chicken.
- 4:03Speaker 3: Yeah, make me a sandwich, Grimace. You had some other
- 4:08Speaker 3: hacks when it comes to cooking, too.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Don't you.
- 4:09Speaker 1: Yeah, there's a you know a lot of pro chefs
- 4:11Speaker 1: out there giving tips as far as eating at home
- 4:15Speaker 1: and why a lot of times when you make something
- 4:17Speaker 1: at home, it doesn't taste the same as if you
- 4:19Speaker 1: ordered it in a restaurant. Meat is a big thing
- 4:22Speaker 1: when it comes to that, but all around general preparing too.
- 4:25Speaker 1: So one of the biggest tips here is to have
- 4:28Speaker 1: everything ready when it is time to cook, because that
- 4:31Speaker 1: will throw you off more than anything. If you have,
- 4:33Speaker 1: say you're burger in the pan or your meat or whatever,
- 4:37Speaker 1: and then you you need veggies to put in there,
- 4:39Speaker 1: you didn't cut up the veggie, so now you're cutting
- 4:40Speaker 1: vegan as the meat is cooking. You're gonna overcook that meat,
- 4:45Speaker 1: you know what I mean. Like to have everything ready
- 4:47Speaker 1: before you go into preparing the recipe. That is such
- 4:50Speaker 1: a power move that chefs use and it makes a
- 4:53Speaker 1: big difference.
- 4:53Speaker 2: You know why. I like doing that too, because I
- 4:56Speaker 2: feel like I'm on a TV show where I'm the chef.
- 4:58Speaker 3: Yeah, and I'll have my bowl of peppers, my whatever,
- 5:02Speaker 3: and it's all lined up.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Bobby or whatever. I know, I'm an emerald.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Yes, you have your spices in little individual rabbit. You're
- 5:13Speaker 1: like adding the paprika like your professional I know. I
- 5:18Speaker 1: love that too. I also love They have a term
- 5:21Speaker 1: in cooking. It's called don't crowd the mushrooms okay okay,
- 5:25Speaker 1: and it's a really big tip because when you do
- 5:27Speaker 1: put too much in a pan okay, it changes things
- 5:31Speaker 1: when it comes to the science of the cooking. You
- 5:33Speaker 1: are steaming instead of uh, instead of browning. It's a
- 5:38Speaker 1: big deal.
- 5:39Speaker 2: And so it changes amateur crowding the mushrooms of the dish.
- 5:43Speaker 1: So if you even don't crowd the mushrooms. But even
- 5:47Speaker 1: if it's as much as scrambling an egg, you don't
- 5:49Speaker 1: want to put too much egg in the pan, because again,
- 5:51Speaker 1: the surface area in the heat, big deal. It's a bit.
- 5:57Speaker 5: Mushrooms again, look at you crowded, said to my wife.
- 6:00Speaker 2: She'd be like, what the hell?
- 6:02Speaker 1: You should just work it in a conversation today.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Just don't crowd the mushrooms.
- 6:06Speaker 3: I'm gonna work that in Like if I'm at water
- 6:07Speaker 3: World standing in line and people are all up in
- 6:09Speaker 3: my business and don't crowd the mushrooms.
- 6:12Speaker 1: You sit here in the building, like, can we do that?
- 6:15Speaker 1: Get away with it?
- 6:17Speaker 3: Let's do you know we sit at those little tables
- 6:19Speaker 3: at the All Stars and people come sit around us
- 6:21Speaker 3: because we're so popular. We can be like, don't crowd
- 6:23Speaker 3: the mushrooms. Yeah, and then we'll get called weird again.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Got one more.
- 6:29Speaker 1: This is the big one, and this is about your meat.
- 6:32Speaker 3: Kay.
- 6:32Speaker 1: You got to take care of your meat.
- 6:34Speaker 2: This is the biggest onis.
- 6:38Speaker 1: This is the biggest difference when it comes to home
- 6:40Speaker 1: cooking as opposed to going out to a restaurant. When
- 6:43Speaker 1: you get a steak, right, a lot of times that
- 6:45Speaker 1: steak isn't gonna taste as good as if you order
- 6:47Speaker 1: it from a restaurant. And a big reason is because
- 6:50Speaker 1: you're not resting your protein. Gotta rest your protein only
- 6:56Speaker 1: after a lot of people think this is just after
- 6:58Speaker 1: you cook it. You need to make sure it rests
- 7:00Speaker 1: for five minutes or so so the juices distribute evenly.
- 7:05Speaker 1: You need to do that.
- 7:06Speaker 2: That's a protest. That is something a lot of people miss. Yes,
- 7:08Speaker 2: you got to rest your meat.
- 7:10Speaker 3: When I do my five hour six hour tri tip
- 7:13Speaker 3: on the smoker, I bring it inside, wrap it and foil,
- 7:16Speaker 3: and then.
- 7:16Speaker 2: I wrap like two or three hand towels.
- 7:21Speaker 3: Then you put it in a cooler, close the lid,
- 7:23Speaker 3: and let it sit in there for about thirty minutes.
- 7:25Speaker 1: You have to.
- 7:25Speaker 2: And then I look at the children and I go,
- 7:28Speaker 2: don't you the meat is resting.
- 7:30Speaker 1: No, it's such a big deal because you have to
- 7:33Speaker 1: take that meat out of the fridge. You can't just
- 7:36Speaker 1: take a chicken breast from the fridge and slap it
- 7:38Speaker 1: in a pan.
- 7:39Speaker 2: That does the amateur move.
- 7:40Speaker 1: A lot of people do that, Josh. And honestly, when
- 7:43Speaker 1: you do that, you know, when you take it straight
- 7:46Speaker 1: from the cold fridge into the pan, it overcooks the
- 7:49Speaker 1: outside before the center ever catches chicken. It's a it's
- 7:53Speaker 1: a big, unevenly dry cooks piece of meat. Nobody likes
- 7:56Speaker 1: that wants to drive me. Sure you take it out
- 7:58Speaker 1: of the fridge for at least fifteen minutes before you
- 8:01Speaker 1: cook it. Let that baby sit there and rest, contemplate
- 8:04Speaker 1: its feelings, and then you throw it in the pan.
- 8:06Speaker 1: And then when you're done there it rest. Make it
- 8:09Speaker 1: your be a lot of resting when it comes to
- 8:11Speaker 1: your meat.
- 8:12Speaker 3: So I'm gonna tell my wife that today too. Yes,
- 8:16Speaker 3: don't crowd the mushrooms. I'm resting my meat. She's gonna
- 8:19Speaker 3: love you, so turned on. Be careful, honey, careful to
- 8:25Speaker 3: rest the meat. I'm not a machine, all right. Since
- 8:29Speaker 3: we're talking about food, I got one more food related
- 8:31Speaker 3: story for you guys.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Okay, and it truly I was not surprised by this.
- 8:37Speaker 3: It's like, why did it take this long for the
- 8:40Speaker 3: fat diet to kick in? A lot of doctors are
- 8:43Speaker 3: out there this morning. I know you all are trying
- 8:46Speaker 3: to lose weight and all, but they say you should
- 8:50Speaker 3: not be doing the diarrhea lettuce diet right now that
- 8:55Speaker 3: believe it or not, there are a lot of posts
- 8:58Speaker 3: out there right now encouraging people. I mean, I'm sure
- 9:01Speaker 3: these are TikTokers or whatever real brain acts.
- 9:04Speaker 4: You know.
- 9:04Speaker 3: The doctors on tick talk they're saying, if you want
- 9:07Speaker 3: to lose a ton of weight in a hurry, that
- 9:10Speaker 3: you need to go out and just eat lettuce like
- 9:12Speaker 3: crazy in hopes that you'll get that cyclospora or whatever
- 9:17Speaker 3: it's called, and it's called cyclospora skinny. Right now, they're
- 9:20Speaker 3: encouraging people to get out, eat a bunch of lettuce,
- 9:24Speaker 3: blow your bowels out essentially, and just drain yourself of
- 9:27Speaker 3: fat and any sort of nutrients and you'll.
- 9:30Speaker 2: Drop two or three dress sizes.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Oh and hate your life of it. Everyone else I've
- 9:38Speaker 1: talked to who has had this or experienced it, it
- 9:42Speaker 1: is like non ending.
- 9:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:44Speaker 3: The doctors are saying, you're gonna lose so much of
- 9:47Speaker 3: your electrolytes in your body, You're gonna have muscle cramps,
- 9:50Speaker 3: you're gonna have headaches. You're gonna have dehydration. They say,
- 9:55Speaker 3: you get to a state where your heart just can't
- 9:57Speaker 3: pump enough blood because there's no water in because you're
- 10:00Speaker 3: draining yourself. You could literally die from this. But I'm skinny,
- 10:06Speaker 3: but oh my god.
- 10:06Speaker 2: I'm so get in my casket.
- 10:09Speaker 1: No to me that people think that's okay.
- 10:12Speaker 2: Hey, you know, are you shocked by this at all? Though?
- 10:15Speaker 3: That the fat diet, this fad diet has blown up
- 10:18Speaker 3: on TikTok.
- 10:18Speaker 1: We've had crazier diets, for sure, but this one just
- 10:21Speaker 1: seems like a little unnecessary, Like you can totally avoid this.
- 10:26Speaker 2: And just for good's sakes, get on a treadmill and.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Maybe fasting would work for you. I know a lot
- 10:30Speaker 1: of people who swear by that. Yeah, not me, but
- 10:34Speaker 1: I'm a lot of people.
- 10:36Speaker 3: If you're thinking about it, if you've seen it, probably
- 10:39Speaker 3: talk to your kids about this.
- 10:40Speaker 2: Honestly, don't do the diarrhea. Letus diet. Okay.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Come on the fact that you just had to say
- 10:46Speaker 1: those were right, I never thought I would have to
- 10:49Speaker 1: say it.
- 10:50Speaker 2: Just let's be grown ups, okay.
- 10:52Speaker 3: Kind of a lengthy message that came in from mel.
- 10:54Speaker 3: I'll try to zip through it here, but Mel says, Hey,
- 10:56Speaker 3: guys have been going to the same hairstylist for about
- 10:59Speaker 3: seven years. The best I've ever had the problem is
- 11:02Speaker 3: is she never stops talking.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Couple she is Katie her hairs.
- 11:09Speaker 3: A couple of A couple of weeks ago, I had
- 11:11Speaker 3: one of those days where everything that could go wrong
- 11:13Speaker 3: did and I had a pounding migraine, hadn't slept much
- 11:16Speaker 3: the night before, and I was mentally exhausted and bloated.
- 11:19Speaker 2: Oh boy to TMI.
- 11:21Speaker 3: All I wanted to do was sit in the chair,
- 11:23Speaker 3: close my eyes and enjoy two hours.
- 11:25Speaker 2: Of piece and quiet.
- 11:26Speaker 3: But instead, the second I sat down, it was non
- 11:29Speaker 3: stop conversation.
- 11:30Speaker 2: How's work, how's your husband? Did you book that vacation?
- 11:33Speaker 2: What are your weekend plans?
- 11:34Speaker 6: She goes.
- 11:35Speaker 2: I just didn't have the energy for it, and after
- 11:37Speaker 2: about twenty minutes I snapped at her and said, can
- 11:41Speaker 2: you please.
- 11:42Speaker 3: Just stop talking? She laughed a little like I was joking.
- 11:45Speaker 3: I said, no, seriously, I just need some quiet today,
- 11:49Speaker 3: she said. Then the entire salon got quiet.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Oh no.
- 11:52Speaker 3: She didn't say another word for the rest of my appointment,
- 11:55Speaker 3: and for almost two hours. It was one of the
- 11:57Speaker 3: most uncomfortable experiences I had ever had. When she finished,
- 12:00Speaker 3: I apologized. She quietly replied, it's fine, but I could
- 12:05Speaker 3: tell it wasn't. Now it's about a month later and
- 12:07Speaker 3: I called to make my next appointment. Usually she's upbeat
- 12:10Speaker 3: and happy to talk, but this time she sounded cold,
- 12:14Speaker 3: and I.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Got off the phone as quick.
- 12:15Speaker 3: As possible, and I honestly nervous. She said, this is
- 12:20Speaker 3: the part I thought about before I read this. But
- 12:22Speaker 3: she says, I know this probably sounds ridiculous, but this
- 12:25Speaker 3: woman has scissors, razors, bleach, and my hair in her hands.
- 12:29Speaker 3: I keep wondering if she's still mad enough that she's
- 12:31Speaker 3: going to accidentally cut my banks too short, or take
- 12:34Speaker 3: off more than I asked for, or give me a
- 12:36Speaker 3: style that I didn't quite want.
- 12:40Speaker 2: She says.
- 12:41Speaker 3: My husband thinks I'm crazy, and he says a professional
- 12:43Speaker 3: would never risk a reputation over one awkward interaction. My
- 12:47Speaker 3: sister says, cancel the appointment immediately, and once she lose
- 12:51Speaker 3: trust in someone who's responsible for your appearance, it's over.
- 12:55Speaker 2: That's a solid mine. She goes, So, guys, what should
- 12:58Speaker 2: I do? Maybe you can use this on your show.
- 13:00Speaker 3: Do I keep the appointment, apologize, trust everything will be fine?
- 13:04Speaker 3: Or should I find a new stylist, because I'll spend
- 13:07Speaker 3: the entire appointment wondering if she's about to get a
- 13:09Speaker 3: little revenge.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Love the show. Hope this makes the air.
- 13:13Speaker 3: And that's from sweet Mel with her roots showing right now.
- 13:19Speaker 1: It's her hair.
- 13:19Speaker 3: Did like to sound off about Mel's situation with her stylist?
- 13:24Speaker 2: What should she do?
- 13:25Speaker 3: Phone lines are open three O three six nine one
- 13:28Speaker 3: one mix three O three six nine one sixteen forty nine.
- 13:33Speaker 2: I feel bad for her, I really do.
- 13:34Speaker 1: I do too.
- 13:35Speaker 2: I mean she's stress and for sure well.
- 13:37Speaker 1: And when it comes to your hair and as you
- 13:40Speaker 1: just said in that email, your appearance, I mean you
- 13:43Speaker 1: really get kind of anxious about that. You don't want
- 13:46Speaker 1: to make someone mad. Who's in charge of that? I know?
- 13:48Speaker 3: And especially for as much money and time is involved
- 13:51Speaker 3: in ladies' haircuts.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Hundreds of dollars. I am not kitties.
- 13:55Speaker 6: Well, and Katie, I just go back to when you
- 13:57Speaker 6: tried to highlight your hair go blonde a little bit,
- 14:00Speaker 6: and how much it affected you when you didn't love
- 14:03Speaker 6: it when you didn't and it's that's months and months
- 14:06Speaker 6: and months of regrowth and trying to fix it.
- 14:08Speaker 2: And she's a.
- 14:09Speaker 3: Professional who's making money and she doesn't want anyone to
- 14:11Speaker 3: bad mouth her.
- 14:12Speaker 2: You know, you's accidentally.
- 14:14Speaker 1: You're right, like when something goes wrong with your hair, like,
- 14:17Speaker 1: so you don't want to upset that person. But for me,
- 14:20Speaker 1: like this whole situation, I guess it's just because I
- 14:23Speaker 1: talk for a living. I like talking to people for
- 14:26Speaker 1: the most part. But when I'm in those situations of
- 14:30Speaker 1: you know, getting my hair done or getting my nails done,
- 14:33Speaker 1: when it's silent, it's awkward to me, like I want
- 14:36Speaker 1: to talk to the person just to be the you know,
- 14:41Speaker 1: I feel like they need someone to talk to as well.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Talk here to say. I just feel like I'm doing
- 14:48Speaker 1: my part. Is come in to play a part absolutely.
- 14:53Speaker 5: Real right now, to save enjoy the So you honestly
- 14:59Speaker 5: don't just you're so out over that you're fine being
- 15:02Speaker 5: quiet in the morning, off the air.
- 15:04Speaker 2: Yeah, don't even worry. You know why they are fine.
- 15:10Speaker 1: Any other time I would take that, but now you know,
- 15:12Speaker 1: you need that banter. You need to be able to
- 15:16Speaker 1: feel like you are, you know, in a situation where
- 15:19Speaker 1: you trust that person, they trust you. You're both playing
- 15:21Speaker 1: a part, I feel like, and if you're not going
- 15:23Speaker 1: into that situation ready to play your part.
- 15:25Speaker 6: Well, and I feel like you, Yeah, Katie, you and
- 15:28Speaker 6: I both have our moms as hairdressers who have done
- 15:31Speaker 6: this for years and years and years, And I feel
- 15:34Speaker 6: like the hairdresser, especially a woman, is like you're confident,
- 15:39Speaker 6: like you can tell them things you've been going to
- 15:41Speaker 6: them for years. I know my mom has stories for
- 15:44Speaker 6: days about things that people have told her while they're
- 15:47Speaker 6: getting their hair did up.
- 15:48Speaker 1: So they're the therapists, they really are, right, Yeah, so
- 15:51Speaker 1: what should mel do? You?
- 15:53Speaker 2: Guys?
- 15:53Speaker 3: I know there's a lot of ladies listening who have
- 15:55Speaker 3: stylists that they're pretty solid with. What if you snapped
- 15:59Speaker 3: at one of them? I told him, just please stop talking.
- 16:02Speaker 3: I need some quiet today.
- 16:03Speaker 2: Did you get a couple messages Kadie. Yeah, well we
- 16:05Speaker 2: definitely text line blew up on this.
- 16:08Speaker 1: Yeah, absolutely, and from I think this is Cindy She said,
- 16:11Speaker 1: I have a really good relationship with my hairdresser, Like
- 16:14Speaker 1: we hang out outside of my hair appointment. So maybe
- 16:16Speaker 1: it's because of that. But if I'm having a bad
- 16:19Speaker 1: day or not feeling well and not up to talking,
- 16:22Speaker 1: I just talked to them beforehand, so it's like, I'm
- 16:25Speaker 1: usually a peppi polite person, but they'll give me a
- 16:28Speaker 1: pass if I just need some quiet that day. So
- 16:30Speaker 1: that maybe because of her.
- 16:31Speaker 6: Relations good advice for the next time, exactly because pull
- 16:35Speaker 6: her opposite curiosity texted and Nope, I could never go
- 16:37Speaker 6: back every time she picked up the scissors, I'd be flinching.
- 16:40Speaker 6: Just take that l and find a new stylist.
- 16:42Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, well, and I mean like a few of
- 16:44Speaker 1: those as well, like we got, I think it's a
- 16:46Speaker 1: good move for her to cancel or move the appointment.
- 16:48Speaker 1: I agree that when you go to a business that
- 16:50Speaker 1: has to protect their reputation, they probably won't run it
- 16:54Speaker 1: on purpose, but it won't be an enjoyable experience. So
- 16:57Speaker 1: I think that's a good tip as well, Like if
- 16:59Speaker 1: you've already ruined it, I don't know if there's any
- 17:01Speaker 1: going back.
- 17:02Speaker 3: Right, And that's the ones I pulled off the text line.
- 17:05Speaker 3: I had one, two, three, four that I read that
- 17:08Speaker 3: was essentially move on on every single one of them.
- 17:11Speaker 3: This one said I once told my nailtick that I
- 17:13Speaker 3: hated my nails, and I was trying to be honest.
- 17:15Speaker 3: She burst into tears. I feel awful about it. Now
- 17:18Speaker 3: I drive thirty minutes to a different salon because I
- 17:21Speaker 3: can't face her.
- 17:22Speaker 2: Yeah, you got to move on.
- 17:24Speaker 3: Somebody else wrote in and said I feel bad for
- 17:26Speaker 3: the stylist. Imagine spending years building a relationship with someone
- 17:30Speaker 3: and then basically getting told.
- 17:31Speaker 2: To shut up. I would question every future visit. I
- 17:36Speaker 2: would run from that style.
- 17:38Speaker 1: And I like that the point of view from the stylist,
- 17:41Speaker 1: like they that can't make them feel good at all.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Yeah, really quick.
- 17:45Speaker 3: I do want to talk to Clara, who wrote in
- 17:47Speaker 3: Hi Clara or called in Hi Clara, Hi, Hi, Hi.
- 17:50Speaker 2: What do you think mel should do about this situation?
- 17:53Speaker 4: I think I think she can still go to her
- 17:56Speaker 4: hair stylist, But I do think both options kind of
- 17:58Speaker 4: leave out that, like Mells not being accountable for what
- 18:01Speaker 4: she did. It was rude of her to snap at
- 18:06Speaker 4: her hairstylist like that, and I think that she owes
- 18:08Speaker 4: her an apology. You know, I think it's totally okay.
- 18:10Speaker 4: I get migraines too, so I totally understand that. But
- 18:14Speaker 4: I think going into that appointment, I think had she
- 18:16Speaker 4: just communicated that, like, hey, I'm not feeling super great today.
- 18:20Speaker 4: Is it okay? If we just kind of sit in silence,
- 18:22Speaker 4: I think that would have been fine instead of like
- 18:24Speaker 4: pupping it out for twenty minutes and then snapping. I
- 18:27Speaker 4: think that wasn't great. And so at the very least,
- 18:29Speaker 4: she owes her an apology, and yeah, like if she's
- 18:32Speaker 4: been going to her for that long and they built
- 18:34Speaker 4: a relationship, like she kind of owes her like repairing
- 18:37Speaker 4: that relationship too. And also it's like she's a professional.
- 18:40Speaker 4: I think if you apologize and go back, like maybe
- 18:43Speaker 4: bring her a knife, stiff basket or something.
- 18:45Speaker 2: Yeah, it's exactly what I was gonna say.
- 18:47Speaker 3: That's I was like, this has been a seven year relationship,
- 18:51Speaker 3: you're both adults. Come in with one of those edible
- 18:55Speaker 3: baskets that the fruit the flowers made out of the
- 18:57Speaker 3: fruit ed you're an edible arrangement, and a Starbucks gift
- 19:02Speaker 3: card and say I am so sorry that I was
- 19:05Speaker 3: bloated and angry.
- 19:06Speaker 4: Explain what happened, and then I think she would understand
- 19:08Speaker 4: and say like, no, it's totally okay. You know, it's
- 19:10Speaker 4: like hey, we're yeah, yes, I still like you, Oh
- 19:13Speaker 4: I still trust you, Like I think that's fine, you know,
- 19:16Speaker 4: but take ability, and then you'll embrace.
- 19:18Speaker 2: And everything will be fine, and then you make it right.
- 19:20Speaker 1: You'll make it. But I do I think that's it though.
- 19:22Speaker 1: The extra effort on that level is what it's going
- 19:25Speaker 1: to take.
- 19:27Speaker 2: Clara, you're very wise.
- 19:30Speaker 4: Six guys.
- 19:32Speaker 2: I wish we could. I wish we could buy you
- 19:33Speaker 2: a Starbucks.
- 19:34Speaker 1: I know we want to get you yea good advice.
- 19:38Speaker 2: Enjoy your day, Clara, thank you so much for calling it.
- 19:40Speaker 3: If you guys ever have a dilemma you want to
