- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, back with Randy. Hey, Randy, before we get
- 0:02Speaker 1: into your plays, I put a tweet up in honor
- 0:07Speaker 1: of Malik Beasley pleading guilty to gambling today. I never
- 0:11Speaker 1: seen that video, though. Malik Beasley was really upset. I
- 0:16Speaker 1: guess he told his buddies over three and a half rebounds.
- 0:19Speaker 1: He did not get that rebound with like 13 seconds left.
- 0:22Speaker 1: You could see he's visibly upset. Then luckily enough, he
- 0:25Speaker 1: did get the last. I don't even know how that
- 0:27Speaker 1: fast he got the last rebound. We were lucky to
- 0:29Speaker 1: get it. But I never seen the video. Did you?
- 0:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I saw it a few times when they were
- 0:35Speaker 2: suspecting him of gambling allegations. And just crazy, these sports people.
- 0:43Speaker 2: You know, the NBA and then, of course, the major
- 0:46Speaker 2: leagues with these pitchers throwing a ball.
- 0:48Speaker 3: Wow. You know, why give up your livelihood and now
- 0:52Speaker 3: the NBA? You know, they think.
- 0:53Speaker 1: They're not going to be caught. And now, you know,
- 0:55Speaker 1: guys that are making millions of dollars, what are they thinking?
- 0:58Speaker 1: How much money can you get down a player prop?
- 1:00Speaker 3: I mean, exactly. Crazy.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Let's go into your NFL last week. That might have
- 1:04Speaker 1: been your first losing week on the show this year.
- 1:07Speaker 2: It was one and two and two broke the streak, unfortunately. Yeah,
- 1:12Speaker 2: could have had that Saints game. Of course, the Raiders
- 1:14Speaker 2: didn't really show up with their defense.
- 1:16Speaker 1: No, the Raiders were wrong.
- 1:18Speaker 3: You know, Saints game had a bad second half.
- 1:21Speaker 1: What was the Saints final score? 16-10. 16-10, yeah.
- 1:24Speaker 3: We were getting three and.
- 1:25Speaker 1: A half, yeah. Yeah, that field goal at the end.
- 1:27Speaker 3: And missed the field goal, yeah.
- 1:28Speaker 1: Missed the field goal, yeah. All right, what do you
- 1:30Speaker 1: got this week to bury everyone with?
- 1:32Speaker 3: All right, first game, Baltimore-Buffalo.
- 1:36Speaker 2: I'm going to take the Bills here, kind of against
- 1:39Speaker 2: these model people. You know, sometimes these model guys, they
- 1:43Speaker 2: get obsessed with a certain team. And Baltimore, last couple years,
- 1:48Speaker 2: has been one of them. You know, sometimes we make
- 1:50Speaker 2: a joke. Sometimes these model guys need a reboot. But
- 1:54Speaker 2: we'll see if they do in this situation. Buffalo coming
- 1:57Speaker 2: off a bye. And I did get criticized by a
- 2:00Speaker 2: Buffalo fan. I remember I was reading the comments. You
- 2:03Speaker 2: always go against Buffalo.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Oh, I've seen that comment.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Well, here's your chance now. I'm on the bills this week.
- 2:10Speaker 2: They have a week of rest. Their defense should be
- 2:13Speaker 2: recharged here. Their defense isn't good, but we're getting a
- 2:17Speaker 2: Baltimore team. Sure, they might have Jackson back. How good
- 2:21Speaker 2: is he going to be? That blows leads. 13-0 lead
- 2:26Speaker 2: they had against Cincinnati because I had Baltimore in the
- 2:30Speaker 2: teaser plus eight and a half when the line went
- 2:32Speaker 2: to two and a half.
- 2:33Speaker 3: Somehow lose a teaser.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Wow.
- 2:37Speaker 3: In the second half, they get blown out. So.
- 2:40Speaker 2: I like Baltimore here. You know, they've been on a
- 2:43Speaker 2: winning streak, and hopefully they come off the bye strong.
- 2:46Speaker 1: You like Buffalo here, right?
- 2:47Speaker 3: Excuse me, Buffalo. Lay the three points.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Here, it's three minus 15 here, minus three minus $ 1. 12.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Bet MGM minus three flat at South Point. So the
- 2:57Speaker 1: threes are out there because a lot of the wise
- 2:59Speaker 1: guys are on Baltimore plus three and a half. So
- 3:02Speaker 1: this line now settling at minus three. Let's call it
- 3:05Speaker 1: minus $ 1.
- 3:05Speaker 4: 15.
- 3:05Speaker 1: All right, what else you got?
- 3:08Speaker 2: All right, back on the Cleveland Browns train here. We've
- 3:12Speaker 2: been on them a few times and not going to
- 3:15Speaker 2: shy away from this situation either. Teams that play internationally
- 3:19Speaker 2: coming back and deciding to play. Remember, they have the
- 3:24Speaker 2: option here to take a bye week. The Pittsburgh Steelers,
- 3:28Speaker 2: too cocky here, not taking their bye. They're taking their
- 3:30Speaker 2: bye next week for some reason. Teams in this situation
- 3:34Speaker 2: are 0-8 against the spread. 0-8 straight up, 1-7 against
- 3:38Speaker 2: the spread.
- 3:39Speaker 1: All right, so Pittsburgh, 3.5-point favorite here. You can get 3.5
- 3:44Speaker 1: mostly anywhere. 3.5 minus $ 1. 15 here on Cleveland, plus 3.5
- 3:51Speaker 1: minus $ 1. 15. There are some 3.5 flats out there I'm
- 3:54Speaker 1: seeing at South Point. So you like that division game.
- 3:57Speaker 1: You like the dog there.
- 3:58Speaker 3: I still recommend.
- 4:00Speaker 2: I got 4.5 in pocket. I still recommend a 3.5.
- 4:03Speaker 2: I think it's still a solid bet. I like the
- 4:06Speaker 2: way the Browns have been playing, and I'm surprised by
- 4:09Speaker 2: this coach. It seems like they actually got a direction
- 4:12Speaker 2: now with this Munkin. You know, his brother's a coach
- 4:15Speaker 2: at Army, so you know they got structure there.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Okay.
- 4:19Speaker 2: But this Munkin that they got in Cleveland, looks like
- 4:23Speaker 2: he's bringing in a little structure to this. You know,
- 4:26Speaker 2: the Cleveland Browns have been through so many troubles, you know,
- 4:29Speaker 2: losing organization, that maybe this is the first time that
- 4:33Speaker 2: they have some life here so we'll see and I
- 4:36Speaker 2: believe this will be one of those slobber knocker low
- 4:39Speaker 2: scoring type you know Cleveland already beat them once so
- 4:43Speaker 2: I think it'll be one of them type games where
- 4:45Speaker 2: it'll come down to a field goal and we're good
- 4:48Speaker 2: to go with Cleveland plus three and a half.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Alright what do you got? What's next?
- 4:52Speaker 2: Alright I'm still going to recommend this total even though
- 4:55Speaker 2: I took it under 41 it's under 40 and a
- 4:58Speaker 2: half now big match up here With Casey against John's
- 5:03Speaker 2: Denver team.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Right, right. No, this is, it was 41 this morning
- 5:09Speaker 1: when a source gave it out this morning also. So
- 5:13Speaker 1: now it looks like it's a 40 and a half,
- 5:14Speaker 1: pretty solid. Yeah, there's only 40 and a half on
- 5:16Speaker 1: the screen.
- 5:17Speaker 2: And I would take it all the way down to
- 5:19Speaker 2: 40 here. I make the number right around 38. Okay,
- 5:22Speaker 2: they already played one time already. And these are usually
- 5:26Speaker 2: home and home games where the home team usually wins.
- 5:28Speaker 2: So I kind of favor Denver a little bit in
- 5:30Speaker 2: this matchup. Like the total a little better. The first
- 5:33Speaker 2: matchup was 31 to 10, so that's a 41 there.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Denver forgot how to tackle in that first game. They've
- 5:42Speaker 2: learned how to tackle since. Their defense has been playing
- 5:45Speaker 2: really well. Two great defensive coordinators here that don't get recognized,
- 5:51Speaker 2: Steve Spagnola for Kansas City and Vance Joseph for Denver.
- 5:57Speaker 3: Both longtime coaches.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Both have been head coaches and failed, but both of
- 6:01Speaker 2: them really good defensive coaches, and both have really good
- 6:05Speaker 2: defensive talent on both sides against struggling offenses that.
- 6:11Speaker 3: Don't really give up big.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Neither of them have big play options on their offenses,
- 6:16Speaker 2: so this should be a grinded-out division battle as well
- 6:19Speaker 2: in Denver. Never know about the weather, but I know
- 6:23Speaker 2: Mile High pretty well. I've been to games there, fun
- 6:26Speaker 2: place to go, And this is going to be a
- 6:29Speaker 2: great one here in Denver.
- 6:30Speaker 1: All right.
- 6:31Speaker 4: All right.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Is that it? Three of them? Yeah, three plays. Three-pack
- 6:35Speaker 1: from Randy. We got Randy in and out. He has
- 6:37Speaker 1: to go be some more important places. He wants to
- 6:41Speaker 1: leave us. No, he's going down to... To see our
- 6:43Speaker 1: buddy Jim Feiss and Albert down at Dom DeMarco's, which Wednesday,
- 6:49Speaker 1: every Wednesday they have their show at noon. Wednesday. Are
- 6:52Speaker 1: you on the panel today?
- 6:53Speaker 3: I am not.
- 6:54Speaker 2: I'm going down to, you know, have lunch with a
- 6:55Speaker 2: friend of mine and see everybody. And then tomorrow night,
- 6:59Speaker 2: going to the Big Metallica.
- 7:00Speaker 4: You went? Yeah.
- 7:02Speaker 1: Thursday night's the better show.
- 7:03Speaker 2: I'm going Thursday night with my buddy. Eddie got me
- 7:06Speaker 2: a ticket, so shout out to him as well. And Gambler,
- 7:10Speaker 2: Bill and I know.
- 7:11Speaker 4: Yeah. Not just a gambler.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Not a gambler. Just one of the best gamblers. I
- 7:17Speaker 1: don't know if he's that much of a gambler. How
- 7:19Speaker 1: about this? I think you mentioned that. I was going
- 7:20Speaker 1: to mention this with John. But I'll tell you. How
- 7:23Speaker 1: about the Venetian put out $ 100 and $ 25 Metallica chips?
- 7:30Speaker 1: I'm going to have J.H. put that. That's so cool.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Let me tell you something. Why wouldn't we go down
- 7:35Speaker 1: there and buy a couple thousand dollars worth? No matter what,
- 7:37Speaker 1: we can always get our money back. Just for everyone
- 7:40Speaker 1: to see if you guys can see from here.
- 7:41Speaker 4: I mean.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Isn't that cool? Like, they have to sell for more
- 7:45Speaker 1: immediately on eBay.
- 7:47Speaker 3: I missed the show at the Hard Rock.
- 7:49Speaker 2: I had something else going on when Metallica was there
- 7:52Speaker 2: in the old joint. And there's still chips out there
- 7:55Speaker 2: from that.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Oh, okay.
- 7:56Speaker 3: Because they did the same thing.
- 7:57Speaker 2: And the Venetians probably copying that same deal with them,
- 8:01Speaker 2: which is smart.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Right.
- 8:02Speaker 3: You know, some smart.
- 8:03Speaker 1: They're not doing a $ 5 chip. I know how smart
- 8:06Speaker 1: they are.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Yeah, I think there were five and a quarter back
- 8:10Speaker 2: then during the hard rock days. Maybe somebody can put
- 8:13Speaker 2: on the comments if they still have one. But I
- 8:16Speaker 2: should have kept those back in the day. Unfortunately, I
- 8:18Speaker 2: didn't get to go to the show at Joint at
- 8:21Speaker 2: the time, but I've seen them once since, so this
- 8:24Speaker 2: will be my second time seeing them.
- 8:25Speaker 1: So the listings here, people are selling these already on
- 8:28Speaker 1: eBay for $ 25 to $ 75 more. The $ 25 one's selling
- 8:34Speaker 1: for up to $ 50. The $ 100 one, actually, there's one
- 8:39Speaker 1: on eBay for $ 349, which is ridiculous, but they've sold
- 8:42Speaker 1: for $ 175 on there already. I mean, if they're available,
- 8:45Speaker 1: it's just good to have them anyway, not even just
- 8:47Speaker 1: to keep it for your own collection.
- 8:49Speaker 3: Yeah, I'll probably buy in for $ 125 and get one
- 8:51Speaker 3: of each.
- 8:51Speaker 1: I could sell you one for $ 125, Randy. I got you.
- 8:54Speaker 1: I got you. I got you. You know, speaking of which,
- 8:58Speaker 1: there was going to be two subjects there I was
- 9:00Speaker 1: going to talk about there for the metallica so metallica
- 9:04Speaker 1: has uh at venetian there's a store that's open in
- 9:08Speaker 1: the morning or the afternoon i know my wife went
- 9:11Speaker 1: and bought all her supplies shirt a hoodie everything there
- 9:16Speaker 1: uh it's a pop-up store is what it's called and
- 9:19Speaker 1: it was unbelievable it was unbelievable to pop up store
- 9:22Speaker 1: so That's something that you may want to. Also, someone
- 9:25Speaker 1: in your stature, not me, but you, you may want
- 9:29Speaker 1: to go to the Stake and Destroy at Carver Stake,
- 9:32Speaker 1: Resorts World, Metallica Sphere Residency. While it's going on, there's
- 9:38Speaker 1: a $ 20, 000 package there, which you might want to go to.
- 9:41Speaker 1: Seared foie gras with 24-karat gold, a guitar signed by
- 9:45Speaker 1: all four members of Metallica, high-end bourbon named Master, after
- 9:50Speaker 1: one of their songs, right? And you get a steak
- 9:53Speaker 1: dinner for $ 20, 000, and you get, don't forget, there's a $ 4, 000
- 9:57Speaker 1: tip included with that, so I figure you'll probably go
- 9:59Speaker 1: for that, someone like in your.
- 10:01Speaker 4: Yeah, what a deal that is.
- 10:02Speaker 1: What a great deal that is.
- 10:04Speaker 3: I do like Carver steak, though.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Oh, okay.
- 10:06Speaker 3: That is very good.
- 10:07Speaker 1: You get the guitar and everything, Randy. Randy will be
- 10:10Speaker 1: there on the weekend. Signed guitar, Metallica.
- 10:13Speaker 3: Will they let you keep the knife, too, like they
- 10:15Speaker 3: do in the... Oh, I've seen that. Would he eat
- 10:17Speaker 3: the regular steak?
- 10:18Speaker 1: Yeah, they do. But anyway, yeah, that's something I noticed.
- 10:21Speaker 1: All right, we'll let Randy get out of here, and
- 10:23Speaker 1: we'll see you next week, Randy.
- 10:24Speaker 3: All right, thanks, guys.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Hey, guys, welcome back to Wisecracks. Bill Krackenberger, John Orlando
- 10:28Speaker 1: over here at the fabulous Circa Sportsbook. John, many subjects
- 10:33Speaker 1: to get through here today. You yourself sent me a
- 10:37Speaker 1: photo last night of– An accident on the 215 on
- 10:41Speaker 1: the way home. John, I just talked about this yesterday
- 10:44Speaker 1: to someone in the morning.
- 10:45Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 10:45Speaker 1: How bad the drivers are compared to... Now, we live
- 10:48Speaker 1: in the moment, you'd think. I swear, though. The drivers
- 10:52Speaker 1: here just seem like they're so much worse than anywhere
- 10:55Speaker 1: I've ever been. I agree. I mean, you're talking about, like...
- 10:58Speaker 1: I lived my life on the BQE and the Verrazano
- 11:02Speaker 1: and literally the Cross Bronx, which is a mess every day.
- 11:06Speaker 1: But I swear, if you go by... Per capita, I
- 11:10Speaker 1: think that here is just so much more dangerous.
- 11:12Speaker 4: I absolutely agree.
- 11:13Speaker 6: I think, you know, obviously the Las Vegas Strip, people
- 11:16Speaker 6: are drinking, they're having fun, they're on vacation.
- 11:18Speaker 4: But also, we have so many local bars on almost
- 11:21Speaker 4: every corner here.
- 11:22Speaker 1: I never thought of that.
- 11:23Speaker 4: People are just drunk. I mean, last night was crazy, man.
- 11:26Speaker 1: There had to be someone that was. She was driving
- 11:28Speaker 1: by herself. It had to be under the influence of something.
- 11:31Speaker 4: I'm pretty sure. She either passed out while drunk.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Right in front of John. This is right in front
- 11:34Speaker 1: of John.
- 11:34Speaker 4: Yeah, on the 215.
- 11:35Speaker 1: The car just spiraled out of control, hit the barrier.
- 11:38Speaker 6: Almost hit me twice. She was in the fast lane.
- 11:42Speaker 6: I was in the lane next to it, and she
- 11:44Speaker 6: lost control. I was probably three or four car lengths
- 11:47Speaker 6: behind her. So I saw her lose control, and she
- 11:50Speaker 6: went all the way that way, so I'm braking, and
- 11:53Speaker 6: then she started coming back. It's like she spun out.
- 11:56Speaker 4: You know what I mean? She went all the way right,
- 11:58Speaker 4: and then all the way left across.
- 12:00Speaker 1: John was the only one to stop, which I see
- 12:02Speaker 1: a lot too, you know? John was the only one
- 12:04Speaker 1: to stop, called 911 right away, and they were right
- 12:06Speaker 1: there instantly. Yeah. But you actually... It was just you
- 12:09Speaker 1: and her. You tried to almost get her out of
- 12:11Speaker 1: the car. You didn't want to touch her. She had
- 12:12Speaker 1: blood all over.
- 12:13Speaker 6: Yeah, she was slumped over the wheel. I had to
- 12:15Speaker 6: lift the airbag, like a side airbag, you know? I
- 12:18Speaker 6: don't think it was the steering wheel airbag.
- 12:20Speaker 1: You're a little bit much like a prima donna. Do
- 12:21Speaker 1: you have gloves on or anything?
- 12:22Speaker 3: No gloves.
- 12:23Speaker 4: I didn't touch her. But I had to lift the
- 12:25Speaker 4: airbag up.
- 12:26Speaker 1: And she was banged up. Give her some words of encouragement.
- 12:28Speaker 4: Her windshield smashed. You'll see. Well, I sent you the pics.
- 12:32Speaker 1: She couldn't have had a seatbelt on. How do you
- 12:35Speaker 1: hit the window with a seatbelt on? And the airbag
- 12:39Speaker 1: deployed instantly.
- 12:41Speaker 4: Her arm was all cut up. You'll see the picture.
- 12:43Speaker 4: He'll put it in there. The windshield is smashed up.
- 12:46Speaker 4: Her face was bloody. There's a lot of blood.
- 12:49Speaker 1: We probably won't put it in there, but just do
- 12:50Speaker 1: explain it. It's enough.
- 12:51Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Speaking of bloody and... Speaking of bloody, there's Bugs E.
- 12:58Speaker 4: Segal. That's Bugs E.
- 12:59Speaker 1: Segal? Yeah, that's the shot. This is a real shot.
- 13:02Speaker 1: That's when he got killed. That's him when he got
- 13:04Speaker 1: shot in the eye. So, yeah. Oh, wow. You don't
- 13:07Speaker 1: see that photo a lot.
- 13:08Speaker 4: No, I don't think I've ever seen that photo.
- 13:10Speaker 1: I've seen it. I've seen it.
- 13:10Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 13:11Speaker 1: So, this is pretty cool, though. So, for 80 years,
- 13:15Speaker 1: I don't understand this.
- 13:17Speaker 4: For 80 years.
- 13:19Speaker 1: The L.A. Police Department, Beverly Hills Police Department, your area,
- 13:23Speaker 1: Beverly Hills, would not release Bugsy's items that he had,
- 13:30Speaker 1: you know, that were left behind. Why? So, I don't know.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Maybe because the murder's never, ever been, it hasn't been solved.
- 13:38Speaker 4: Oh, it's evidence or something?
- 13:40Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:40Speaker 1: Interesting. What happened here is amazing. So, it took 80 years.
- 13:46Speaker 1: for Beverly Hills Police Department to release these. They were
- 13:49Speaker 1: immediately sold by his granddaughter, who got them, to the
- 13:53Speaker 1: Mob Museum here in town, which I think is cool.
- 13:55Speaker 1: The Mob Museum has. So, the exhibit titled What Bugs
- 13:59Speaker 1: He Left Behind includes a Social Security card, Meyer Lansky's
- 14:04Speaker 1: business card, which identifies him as a distributor of Wurlitzer
- 14:08Speaker 1: jukeboxes in New York.
- 14:09Speaker 4: Wow.
- 14:09Speaker 1: Interesting. Photograph of Virginia Hill, a wallet-sized photograph. Sweetheart Benny,
- 14:15Speaker 1: I love you on the back of it. Nevada certificate,
- 14:19Speaker 1: vehicle ownership. Photos of his daughters, Barbara and Millicent. I
- 14:23Speaker 1: think it was pretty cool, including a photograph of the
- 14:25Speaker 1: sisters as teenagers shortly before their father was murdered. Other things, too,
- 14:31Speaker 1: but the Mob Museum, which I was just there a
- 14:34Speaker 1: few weeks ago. um, first show me and Gil Alexander went,
- 14:38Speaker 1: it was fantastic. It just, I've been there in the past.
- 14:41Speaker 1: What a great job they did with that. Um, earlier
- 14:44Speaker 1: effects of the wallet, the old, the old, uh, it's
- 14:47Speaker 1: funny how the old watches were so thin. They weren't, uh,
- 14:51Speaker 1: the show off ones that like guys like you wear now, um,
- 14:54Speaker 1: they were the thinner kind, you know, they were just
- 14:57Speaker 1: a real classic, classy watches though. So 22 items going
- 15:01Speaker 1: on display. And, um, She's actually going to be at
- 15:06Speaker 1: the Mob Museum on November 12th. And it's called What
- 15:12Speaker 1: Bugsy Left Behind. She's going to be speaking over there.
- 15:16Speaker 1: So that's kind of interesting. The Grand Order is actually speaking.
- 15:19Speaker 4: Will you go to that?
- 15:20Speaker 1: I probably won't. I did go there for some other things, though,
- 15:24Speaker 1: and I really enjoyed it. A couple weeks ago, I went,
- 15:28Speaker 1: and I would go again in a minute. They did
- 15:30Speaker 1: a great job over at that Mob Museum. It's a
- 15:33Speaker 1: great thing. Spend the day there. Seriously, you come to town,
- 15:38Speaker 1: you want to spend, we don't want to go in
- 15:40Speaker 1: and out there. You want to spend two, three hours
- 15:41Speaker 1: in there. I mean, it's just so cool in there
- 15:44Speaker 1: if that's one of your things, you know. John, let's
- 15:48Speaker 1: talk a little bit about our local team here. The Raiders.
- 15:53Speaker 1: So they were 3-0. Now they're 3-4. Now we're hearing
- 15:58Speaker 1: Max Crosby's name thrown around as being traded again. Max
- 16:04Speaker 1: having a great year. Gives it his all. This is
- 16:06Speaker 1: a guy who gets there first 6 a.m. in the morning.
- 16:08Speaker 1: Doesn't leave until last.
- 16:09Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 16:10Speaker 1: Dedicated. They almost did a trade with Baltimore, which was
- 16:14Speaker 1: kind of strange. The beginning of the season, I thought
- 16:16Speaker 1: it was a done deal. They said it was done.
- 16:18Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 16:20Speaker 1: Baltimore said no. He might have some physical issues. Obviously,
- 16:23Speaker 1: he doesn't because he's having a great season. He's out there,
- 16:26Speaker 1: and he's just such a leader. I just don't know
- 16:29Speaker 1: how you can get rid of, you know.
- 16:32Speaker 4: And who else do you have? Who's the franchise player?
- 16:36Speaker 1: He really is one of the all-time greats.
- 16:37Speaker 4: He's the guy.
- 16:38Speaker 1: For this iconic franchise. And he's still, let's just say
- 16:43Speaker 1: he's still in prime shape here.
- 16:46Speaker 4: We'll take him.
- 16:47Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Yeah, well, yeah.
- 16:48Speaker 4: We'll take him out.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Now, you say will. Denver?
- 16:50Speaker 4: I'm representing Denver.
- 16:51Speaker 1: Yeah, okay.
- 16:52Speaker 4: We'll take him.
- 16:53Speaker 1: Well, wherever he goes, if he does go somewhere, they
- 16:56Speaker 1: should accept no less than two first-round picks for someone
- 17:01Speaker 1: like this.
- 17:01Speaker 6: Now, do you possibly— I know you don't like to lock
- 17:04Speaker 6: up money long-term, but— No, I do.
- 17:06Speaker 4: Do you— well, for a Super Bowl pick. For a Super
- 17:10Speaker 4: Bowl pick.
- 17:10Speaker 1: No, the reason why I don't do that— Do you
- 17:11Speaker 1: try to speculate.
- 17:12Speaker 4: Where's he going to go and maybe bet on the—
- 17:15Speaker 4: Those teams?
- 17:16Speaker 1: That would definitely be something I would bet on.
- 17:17Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 17:18Speaker 1: Yeah, sure, if I get some kind of word that
- 17:20Speaker 1: some team's looking at him, maybe from a beat reporter
- 17:24Speaker 1: or someone like that. Yeah, that's the idea of, you know.
- 17:28Speaker 4: I got his number. You want me to text him? Yeah,
- 17:30Speaker 4: you think he'll tell you? Does he spill the beans?
- 17:32Speaker 1: Yeah. John, I have an interesting subject. So Steve Wynn
- 17:38Speaker 1: was in town last week at the Golden Nugget. Yes.
- 17:41Speaker 1: And the night he was in town, we may have
- 17:42Speaker 1: even talked about it. He was with his daughter and
- 17:45Speaker 1: his current wife. And Steve, when his daughter, she was
- 17:51Speaker 1: kidnapped years ago. Kevin. Kevin.
- 17:54Speaker 4: I know Kevin.
- 17:55Speaker 1: Yeah, she was kidnapped. Oh, you actually know her? Yeah. Yeah,
- 17:58Speaker 1: so she was kidnapped years ago. And I read a
- 18:01Speaker 1: story on, I never knew this whole story with these
- 18:04Speaker 1: genius kidnappers.
- 18:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 18:07Speaker 1: So I'm going to read something to you guys.
- 18:10Speaker 4: 1.5, right? 1.5.
- 18:11Speaker 1: 1.5, I remember. John knows a lot about this. I
- 18:13Speaker 1: don't know if you weren't involved here. Wynn gets home
- 18:16Speaker 1: from dinner in July 1993. Car phone rings. His daughter, Kevin, Daddy,
- 18:21Speaker 1: I've been kidnapped. The man takes the phone. Do exactly
- 18:23Speaker 1: what we say. We won't kill her. The orders to
- 18:26Speaker 1: go back to the Mirage. Stand at the cashier's cage.
- 18:29Speaker 1: Wait for a call, and you're being watched, Mr. Wynn.
- 18:32Speaker 1: Cage phone rings. Give me a million and a half.
- 18:35Speaker 1: The chairman and CEO. He probably can't empty the cage,
- 18:38Speaker 1: but there was really nothing. Nothing was going to stop him.
- 18:42Speaker 1: It's his daughter. Takes $ 1. 5 million out of the $ 100 bills.
- 18:46Speaker 1: Gets it to the kidnapper. The cash goes into a
- 18:49Speaker 1: shopping bag so heavy he carries it like a baby.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Security guy leaves it on the seat of the Mercedes
- 18:55Speaker 1: where he's told to leave it. Doors unlock, windows down.
- 18:58Speaker 1: Two hours later, airport, oversized parking. Last row, she's tied
- 19:02Speaker 1: up in the back seat. I'm sorry to put you
- 19:04Speaker 1: through this, Mr. Wynn, the kidnapper says. She was alive.
- 19:07Speaker 1: She was fine. The next day, the genius kidnapper goes
- 19:12Speaker 1: to a local Ferrari dealership here.
- 19:17Speaker 4: Stop.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Come on. And spends $ 130, 000 in cash with the marked
- 19:20Speaker 1: bills and obviously gets caught right away.
- 19:23Speaker 4: That's how he got. Yeah.
- 19:24Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, maybe you don't know. I thought you knew.
- 19:26Speaker 4: I figured it was something to do with you. No,
- 19:27Speaker 4: I didn't know. But look, look.
- 19:29Speaker 1: Wow. If that's on the phone thing, you got to
- 19:35Speaker 1: cut that out. But anyway, yeah, so I just amazing
- 19:42Speaker 1: when you see these things.
- 19:43Speaker 4: That's crazy.
- 19:44Speaker 1: You just forget, even though it was 33 years ago.
- 19:47Speaker 4: Does it say how long did he get for that? Like,
- 19:50Speaker 4: is he out? Or is he still alive?
- 19:52Speaker 1: It doesn't say.
- 19:53Speaker 4: Wow. Crazy.
- 19:55Speaker 1: It doesn't say. The audacity. I see you didn't get
- 19:58Speaker 1: in any trouble yet, so that's good. Now, this reminds
- 20:02Speaker 1: me of, the reason why I bring this up, Did
- 20:05Speaker 1: you see this genius that was in the United Airlines?
- 20:09Speaker 1: I fly this flight a lot.
- 20:11Speaker 4: You tried to hijack the plane or something?
- 20:12Speaker 1: I fly this flight because there's only one airline that
- 20:14Speaker 1: I know of that flies nonstop from Newark, New Jersey
- 20:18Speaker 1: to Las Vegas now. It's United. That's their big hub
- 20:21Speaker 1: in Newark. There was a couple. Spirit was there, but
- 20:24Speaker 1: they're out of business now. I think someone else might
- 20:26Speaker 1: have bought one of the routes, though. But as far
- 20:29Speaker 1: as I know, it's United. So I always fly that
- 20:32Speaker 1: United Airlines. They have like six nonstops a day. So
- 20:36Speaker 1: this flight was leaving Las Vegas, going back to Newark.
- 20:40Speaker 1: 25-year-old Dante Malin, the passenger, was arrested texting about hijacking
- 20:46Speaker 1: the plane to his buddies. Now, how did the guy next.
- 20:52Speaker 4: To him saw it?
- 20:53Speaker 1: It actually says that the stewardess seen it. It was
- 21:00Speaker 1: literally shortly after departure, a flight attendant alerted a cockpit saying,
- 21:05Speaker 1: after allegedly seeing his text indicating that his intent to
- 21:09Speaker 1: hijack the plane. Like, does the story just go around
- 21:13Speaker 1: reading people's texts?
- 21:14Speaker 4: Delivering a drink, maybe? She just happened to see it?
- 21:17Speaker 1: Yeah, she could have. It's crazy. But it was supposedly banter,
- 21:23Speaker 1: like fooling around with his friend, but you can't fool
- 21:26Speaker 1: around like that.
- 21:27Speaker 4: Nope.
- 21:28Speaker 1: There's no fooling around like that. So aircraft turned around
- 21:31Speaker 1: at 11.05 p.m., touched down at 11.36 p.m., arrived at
- 21:34Speaker 1: the gate without further and he no one he they
- 21:37Speaker 1: made up a lie we have to turn back around
- 21:39Speaker 1: folks sorry about this and didn't say why so there
- 21:43Speaker 1: was not obviously nothing going on there um but just
- 21:47Speaker 1: based on him saying it uh yeah he's going to
- 21:50Speaker 1: be in a lot of trouble because it actually caused
- 21:52Speaker 1: the whole plane to uh not even yeah they had
- 21:55Speaker 1: a deep plane and weren't allowed to take off till
- 21:57Speaker 1: the next morning yeah so uh they had to get
- 21:59Speaker 1: a different plane Because of the flight crews.
- 22:02Speaker 4: Years ago, my dad had a bass player. This is
- 22:05Speaker 4: in the 90s.
- 22:06Speaker 6: He was from Missouri, and he hadn't had a lot
- 22:09Speaker 6: of flying experience, and he just joined the band. I
- 22:14Speaker 6: forgot where we were going, but we were flying out
- 22:16Speaker 6: of Springfield, Missouri somewhere. It was his first flight with us,
- 22:20Speaker 6: and he made some sort of remark as he was
- 22:21Speaker 6: putting his bass up in the overhead. He made some
- 22:25Speaker 6: sort of bomb joke. Thought he was making an innocent funny.
- 22:30Speaker 6: Musicians have a twisted sense of humor usually. Yeah, we
- 22:33Speaker 6: all got taken off the plane.
- 22:35Speaker 3: Unbelievable.
- 22:36Speaker 4: The whole day my dad had to smooth it over. No, no,
- 22:39Speaker 4: just kidding, whatever.
- 22:40Speaker 1: Was your dad on the plane?
- 22:41Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah. My dad was furious.
- 22:44Speaker 1: Oh, he had to be.
- 22:45Speaker 4: Dude, come on, you don't make those jokes. No bomb jokes.
- 22:48Speaker 1: John, New York Sports Handle hits its biggest since... I
- 22:52Speaker 1: saw this. Now... I want to tell you why this
- 22:55Speaker 1: is a story to me. New York sports betting handled
- 22:59Speaker 1: 5% year over year to $ 2. 4 billion for September. Sports
- 23:03Speaker 1: betting capital in the United States. Year-to-date handle. But the
- 23:07Speaker 1: revenue actually went down year-to-date. And the reason why is
- 23:12Speaker 1: probably because the Knicks won the NBA championship. It was
- 23:15Speaker 1: the first month New York actually lost money. Everyone had
- 23:18Speaker 1: the Knicks. So that's probably why. But their handle went
- 23:21Speaker 1: up for September so much.
- 23:22Speaker 6: And.
- 23:24Speaker 1: This growth, it's just like in contrast to what has
- 23:27Speaker 1: happened with these prediction markets. They say, oh, yeah, the
- 23:31Speaker 1: sportsbooks are really hurting. This shows me that they're absolutely fine.
- 23:36Speaker 1: No one has to worry about the sportsbooks. New Jersey actually.
- 23:41Speaker 1: Their handle did decline 4%. But their prediction markets are
- 23:47Speaker 1: very big in that area there. So they're big in
- 23:51Speaker 1: all these states, really, that have them. Here in Nevada,
- 23:54Speaker 1: we do not have that. But I just find that
- 23:56Speaker 1: very interesting. $ 2. 4 billion. Oh, my God. They're holding about 10%.
- 24:01Speaker 1: So you're talking about $ 240 million in profit for the sportsbooks,
- 24:06Speaker 1: even though they have this 50% tax rate. It's still
- 24:10Speaker 1: one of the most successful sportsbooks making so much money
- 24:14Speaker 1: there because of this kind of volume. And, yeah, are
- 24:17Speaker 1: prediction markets hurting the sportsbooks? Yeah, I think for the
- 24:21Speaker 1: bigger better, the more serious better. But Joe Public, they're
- 24:25Speaker 1: playing with DraftKings, FanDuel, Seizures, MGM. They want to play
- 24:29Speaker 1: where the celebrities are advertising, the ex-athletes. Now you have
- 24:33Speaker 1: celebrities or athletes calling you at home, hey, why aren't
- 24:36Speaker 1: you betting anymore? You know, it's sick. It really is sick.
- 24:39Speaker 1: If you think about how predatory some of the advertising
- 24:42Speaker 1: campaigns are. But anyway, I thought that was kind of interesting.
- 24:47Speaker 1: Because everyone, they're in so much fear of this happening,
- 24:52Speaker 1: of these prediction markets taking over. Next thing. I noticed now,
- 24:57Speaker 1: this is the second or third time now, maybe the
- 24:59Speaker 1: third time, that... These slot machines, these cashless slots, you
- 25:06Speaker 1: go up to the slot, you could put tickets or
- 25:07Speaker 1: cash in, but you can also put your phone up
- 25:10Speaker 1: next to it for Apple iPay and load money from
- 25:14Speaker 1: your Apple iPay.
- 25:15Speaker 4: To the slot machine? Yeah.
- 25:17Speaker 1: Now, this one is.
- 25:19Speaker 4: Here in Vegas?
- 25:21Speaker 1: Actually, I believe that one of them you can do
- 25:25Speaker 1: them at the stations, casinos.
- 25:27Speaker 6: Really?
- 25:28Speaker 1: But this one is called Rapid... Rapid play cashless slot
- 25:32Speaker 1: machines at Crystal Bay Casino in Nevada. I don't know
- 25:35Speaker 1: where that's at.
- 25:35Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 25:36Speaker 1: Crystal Bay Casino. I should have looked it up. But
- 25:38Speaker 1: this is a new one.
- 25:40Speaker 4: Wow.
- 25:41Speaker 1: That they're... Oh, yes, yes. L & W plans to
- 25:45Speaker 1: expand technology across Nevada following Station Casino's recent rollout of
- 25:50Speaker 1: Apple Pay gaming machines. I know I heard.
- 25:52Speaker 5: Wow.
- 25:53Speaker 4: Does it happen to say, do you pay a fee
- 25:55Speaker 4: to do that?
- 25:56Speaker 1: I'm sure... There is some kind of a fee.
- 25:59Speaker 4: Maybe not as bad as the ATM?
- 26:00Speaker 1: It doesn't really say it here, but Lights and Wonder
- 26:03Speaker 1: first announced Rapid Play Cashless Gaming Solutions in 2024. This week,
- 26:08Speaker 1: the gaming supplier confirmed its first wave of slot machines.
- 26:12Speaker 1: Pay-by-bank technology are officially live in Nevada. So this is
- 26:16Speaker 1: coming to a casino near you. This person who is
- 26:22Speaker 1: Jeff Allen, I guess he's the director of product management, says,
- 26:26Speaker 1: I think of it as an ATM at the slot machine.
- 26:28Speaker 1: Rather than the player walking over withdrawing money from an
- 26:31Speaker 1: ATM and inserting it into the machine, they can do
- 26:34Speaker 1: everything right here at the point of play. Wow. I
- 26:36Speaker 1: just think that's going to accelerate their loss so much.
- 26:39Speaker 1: For sure. So fast. For sure. They just want to
- 26:43Speaker 1: break every living human. Let's go into some of our
- 26:47Speaker 1: darker areas here, which I do like. I only do
- 26:51Speaker 1: this to protect the people, too. I don't know if
- 26:55Speaker 1: I talked about it in this space last week. The
- 26:57Speaker 1: Philadelphia police are still searching, though, for these armed robbers
- 27:02Speaker 1: who ambushed a woman. I don't think I did. I
- 27:04Speaker 1: don't think so. Yeah, they ambushed a woman at the casino.
- 27:07Speaker 1: So this lady at the parking lot of Live Casino,
- 27:12Speaker 1: which I've been to many times, right there in the
- 27:14Speaker 1: heart of South Philly, Pretty much a safe area there,
- 27:17Speaker 1: I would think, compared to, like, there's a casino over
- 27:20Speaker 1: on Delaware Avenue there. I think it's a Rivers Casino.
- 27:24Speaker 1: Not in the best of areas. So, for this one,
- 27:27Speaker 1: this is a better one over there. It's by the stadiums.
- 27:29Speaker 1: It's right in back of the Link. I think it
- 27:31Speaker 1: shares the parking lot with, I almost said the Vet.
- 27:34Speaker 1: The Vet, the Link, no. The Link and Citizens Bank Field.
- 27:37Speaker 1: I think that's the Phillies where they play. Citizens Bank Park. So,
- 27:41Speaker 1: it shares parking lots with them. Pretty safe area, but
- 27:45Speaker 1: obviously this woman, they seen her win $ 4, 000. These guys
- 27:49Speaker 1: robbed her in the parking garage, took off in their
- 27:52Speaker 1: white Honda Accord. Philadelphia police are investigating this third floor
- 27:56Speaker 1: garage robbery, which occurred shortly before midnight. If I can
- 28:01Speaker 1: give you anything, I like to park, not that I
- 28:05Speaker 1: even do this, but I would say park on the roof.
- 28:07Speaker 1: The camera's there that's light out. This may have happened
- 28:11Speaker 1: at nighttime.
- 28:11Speaker 4: Harder to hide.
- 28:12Speaker 1: Harder to hide in a parking garage. If I'm going
- 28:17Speaker 1: in to make bets and stuff, I'm going in the casino,
- 28:19Speaker 1: I know if I'm carrying my bag or something, I'm
- 28:21Speaker 1: going to go to valet, give the guy $ 10, leave
- 28:23Speaker 1: my car there, right at the front. But this incident
- 28:27Speaker 1: does come as Philadelphia crime statistics through late October show
- 28:31Speaker 1: homicides are down 23%, total property crimes down 8.5% year
- 28:36Speaker 1: over year. We talked about that last week in Atlantic City,
- 28:39Speaker 1: crime going down. So hopefully that's a good sign. This
- 28:43Speaker 1: did happen in a parking garage. I want to make
- 28:46Speaker 1: sure you guys know. Just watch your head in a
- 28:48Speaker 1: parking garage, any parking facilities, in casinos.
- 28:53Speaker 4: And girls, just valet girls.
- 28:56Speaker 1: Man, I see.
- 28:58Speaker 4: Women in the parking garages so often late at night.
- 29:02Speaker 4: I just don't know what.
- 29:03Speaker 6: I know it's expensive to valet, but you've got to
- 29:07Speaker 6: be careful.
- 29:08Speaker 1: In these casinos. How about this $ 150, 000 casino heist in Missouri?
- 29:14Speaker 1: People don't like these flock cameras. They've come under a
- 29:19Speaker 1: lot of attack for privacy concerns and stuff, but The
- 29:24Speaker 1: reason why they actually found these people that robbed the casino,
- 29:27Speaker 1: they went in and robbed the casino. Two suspects were arrested,
- 29:30Speaker 1: allegedly stealing more than $ 150, 000 from St. Joe Frontier Casino
- 29:34Speaker 1: in Missouri. Missouri's Flock Network tracked the suspect to a
- 29:38Speaker 1: black Jeep along Highway 36 where the police stopped the
- 29:41Speaker 1: vehicle and the $ 150, 000 was right in the backseat. So
- 29:44Speaker 1: the reason why the Flock camera, they have crime fighting capabilities.
- 29:50Speaker 4: I don't know what the Flock camera is.
- 29:51Speaker 1: The Flock camera is these cameras that have like, they
- 29:53Speaker 1: have solar panels on them. I've seen them a couple times,
- 29:57Speaker 1: but they also get your... Your driver's data right away.
- 30:01Speaker 4: Oh, right. You mentioned this like a week ago or
- 30:03Speaker 4: two on the show.
- 30:03Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah. Okay, sorry, sorry, sorry. So it did. Like
- 30:05Speaker 1: you can see a photo of that right there. See
- 30:07Speaker 1: like there?
- 30:08Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, I've seen those.
- 30:09Speaker 1: Yeah, I think they're. But I know from doing other
- 30:13Speaker 1: shows with Alan Boston. By the way, we're going to
- 30:16Speaker 1: have Alan Boston on, guys. Tomorrow he's going to have
- 30:19Speaker 1: some futures in college basketball. Hopefully we get that out.
- 30:23Speaker 1: Friday morning, still a couple days before the season, we'll
- 30:25Speaker 1: have that out. Our producer will have that out. But, yeah, Allen,
- 30:28Speaker 1: you know, he's... I don't even know what he is.
- 30:32Speaker 1: He's libertarian, I think. I don't follow politics. I think
- 30:36Speaker 1: it's somewhere in the middle.
- 30:36Speaker 4: He's fired up is what he is.
- 30:38Speaker 1: Yeah, he's somewhere in the middle. But anyway, yeah, so
- 30:40Speaker 1: this was an amazing thing. The suspects pinpointed the cash,
- 30:45Speaker 1: and they had it right in the backseat. So, yeah,
- 30:48Speaker 1: that was a... Like I said, this flock controversy... They
- 30:51Speaker 1: operate in 49 states, 120,000 active flock cameras. When a
- 30:57Speaker 1: vehicle passes by a flock reader, the camera registers its make, model,
- 31:01Speaker 1: and distinct identifying features like dense, scratches, anything. And proponents
- 31:05Speaker 1: are spitting here. Public safety technology surveillance allows law enforcement
- 31:11Speaker 1: to easily track suspects. Listen, I don't know why anyone
- 31:14Speaker 1: would be against it. I mean, isn't it to help?
- 31:18Speaker 1: Isn't it to help other places?
- 31:20Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah.
- 31:22Speaker 1: Another thing here. How about this? I think we talked
- 31:25Speaker 1: about this, but I'm not sure. Because this article came
- 31:27Speaker 1: out only five days ago, and we shot seven days ago. So,
- 31:31Speaker 1: this was in Italy. This was a $ 27 million in
- 31:34Speaker 1: lottery tickets. Six of the lottery employees and former employees
- 31:40Speaker 1: identified four multi-million dollar winning tickets before they reached the
- 31:44Speaker 1: retailers telling them to buy the tickets from them stores. So,
- 31:47Speaker 1: it's amazing, though. They got away with the first $ 7 million. Like,
- 31:51Speaker 1: How much money do you want? They got away with
- 31:52Speaker 1: the first $ 7 million telling you where to go and
- 31:54Speaker 1: scratch your tickets at. Right. But it just, it breeds
- 31:58Speaker 1: so much more contempt. We got away with the $ 7 million.
- 32:01Speaker 1: Let's see if we can get away with more. Finally,
- 32:03Speaker 1: up to $ 28 million.
- 32:03Speaker 4: And.
- 32:06Speaker 1: Actually, it says 28 million in assets were seized, 27
- 32:11Speaker 1: million in scratch-off jackpots in the hands of relatives or
- 32:15Speaker 1: friends involving those employees and former employees. This is between
- 32:20Speaker 1: 2015 and 2019. They allegedly used legit login credentials to
- 32:26Speaker 1: access the company's servers, identifying where the tickets were going
- 32:29Speaker 1: to be sold, and their knowledge of knowing in advance
- 32:32Speaker 1: when they were delivered to that store So they would
- 32:35Speaker 1: buy up batches of the tickets. They had the guaranteed
- 32:38Speaker 1: winners there. And it's just amazing how they just get
- 32:44Speaker 1: so greedy. Not that I'm for it, anyway. I'm just saying,
- 32:49Speaker 1: you're so greedy to get all this, and now you're
- 32:53Speaker 1: going to bang them out of $ 28 million. Of course, eventually,
- 32:58Speaker 1: you're going to get caught. John, let's do our wager
- 33:00Speaker 1: wire segment here. Four-leg parlay. Four legs here. Now, Two
- 33:05Speaker 1: legs already cashed. Don't mind me. I've never heard of
- 33:08Speaker 1: this tennis player. Karolina Makova. Maybe I have. The more
- 33:13Speaker 1: I think about it. Makova would beat Coco Gauff. I
- 33:16Speaker 1: know who Coco Gauff is. That one already won. The
- 33:19Speaker 1: next one is Tampa Bay to win the American League.
- 33:21Speaker 1: That one. The next one is Ohio State plus 550
- 33:27Speaker 1: to win the football championship and Florida to win the
- 33:31Speaker 1: NCAA basketball championship. Ready for this wager? $ 1, 100 to win $ 663, 000. Whoa. Yeah,
- 33:43Speaker 1: let's round it down. $ 662, 000.
- 33:44Speaker 6: Obviously, I don't follow college.
- 33:47Speaker 1: Yeah, well, they won the first two Ohio State games. Yeah,
- 33:50Speaker 1: I mean, they're not as good as people thought they
- 33:52Speaker 1: were going to be at the beginning of the season.
- 33:54Speaker 1: But this is a giant four-legger. Right now, because Tampa
- 33:59Speaker 1: won and Carolina McCovell won, It is worth over $ 11, 000
- 34:04Speaker 1: over on WagerWire. I'm sorry. Excuse me. The buyout through
- 34:10Speaker 1: the sportsbook where the ticket was purchased is worth $ 11, 000.
- 34:13Speaker 1: Over on WagerWire.com on the WagerWire app, $ 15, 768. A $ 14, 668 profit.
- 34:17Speaker 1: My thing is, is that.
- 34:26Speaker 1: I don't think this person should sell because if you
- 34:29Speaker 1: have the money to bet $ 1, 100 on a parlay, I
- 34:32Speaker 1: don't know how much $ 15, 000 will do for you compared
- 34:36Speaker 1: to $ 600, 000.
- 34:36Speaker 4: No chance.
- 34:37Speaker 6: And I wonder, was he originally going to do it
- 34:40Speaker 6: for like $ 500 and he saw the payout?
- 34:42Speaker 4: And then he was like, you know what? Double it. $ 1, 100.
- 34:44Speaker 6: I don't think he just randomly picked $ 1, 100 as the number.
- 34:50Speaker 6: I think he probably was going lower, saw $ 300, 000.
- 34:52Speaker 4: Ah, let's double it.
- 34:55Speaker 1: And the bet value is probably unlikely to change unless
- 34:59Speaker 1: Ohio State does win this title game, and then it
- 35:01Speaker 1: would swell to six figures. The payout offer. The current
- 35:07Speaker 1: cash-out offer isn't awful, 70 cents on a dollar, but
- 35:10Speaker 1: 70 cents profit there. So I don't know if I
- 35:13Speaker 1: would— I would say this is a bigger-staked player. They're not
- 35:18Speaker 1: going to.
- 35:18Speaker 4: Be— Would you want to buy in a small piece
- 35:20Speaker 4: of this?
- 35:21Speaker 1: Ohio State and Florida? Yeah, if I can get a
- 35:24Speaker 1: lot of buy, I would buy. Yeah, I would say
- 35:28Speaker 1: you can definitely buy at a piece of this situationally.
- 35:32Speaker 1: College football has been upset city, so any given week,
- 35:37Speaker 1: it's almost like any given Sunday. Any team can and
- 35:39Speaker 1: will win. Yeah. Yeah, that's a good thing.
- 35:41Speaker 6: Kind of like the Dolphins money line that I told
- 35:43Speaker 6: you at Dom DeMarco's last week.
- 35:44Speaker 1: Do you remember that?
- 35:45Speaker 4: Oh, Dolphins money line.
- 35:45Speaker 1: I said Dolphins money line. You did say that.
- 35:47Speaker 4: I've been hot two weeks in a row. I said
- 35:49Speaker 4: Browns money line last week. Dolphins' money line this week.
- 35:53Speaker 1: Do you want to give everyone something else this week?
- 35:55Speaker 4: I can give it to you. It's easy. Oh, not Broncos.
- 35:57Speaker 4: It's like free money. Yes, Broncos beat the Chiefs.
- 36:00Speaker 1: But the Chiefs is your guy, Mahomes, I thought. You
- 36:02Speaker 1: wouldn't bet this game.
- 36:03Speaker 4: That's true.
- 36:03Speaker 1: Okay.
- 36:04Speaker 4: That's true, but Broncos beat the Chiefs.
- 36:06Speaker 1: Okay, so you're saying the Broncos on the money line.
- 36:09Speaker 4: Money line, yeah.
- 36:09Speaker 1: So the money line, the money line game should be
- 36:11Speaker 1: about even.
- 36:11Speaker 4: It's like minus 105, which is terrible.
- 36:13Speaker 1: Yeah, you can get plus 105.
- 36:16Speaker 4: Can you?
- 36:16Speaker 3: Yeah, plus 105.
- 36:17Speaker 6: Bill, what is this– We talked about it before, but
- 36:20Speaker 6: I really pay attention to stuff more now, more and more.
- 36:26Speaker 6: Both teams are a minus. This thing that seems to
- 36:29Speaker 6: happen a lot. The dog is still a minus.
- 36:33Speaker 4: How can that be? It's happening a lot.
- 36:36Speaker 1: What do you mean the dog's a minus?
- 36:37Speaker 6: Right now, if I'm looking at the board right here
- 36:38Speaker 6: at Circa, for Chiefs, the money line is Chiefs minus 115,
- 36:41Speaker 6: Broncos minus 105.
- 36:45Speaker 4: How does this, how is it, shouldn't there?
- 36:47Speaker 1: Well, the Chiefs are a one and a half point
- 36:49Speaker 1: favorite in the game, or a one point favorite.
- 36:50Speaker 4: Right.
- 36:51Speaker 1: They're a one point favorite here. So, Chiefs are a
- 36:53Speaker 1: one point favorite here. They have to be a small
- 36:55Speaker 1: money line favorite.
- 36:56Speaker 4: I'm looking right now. It's minus 115, minus 105.
- 36:58Speaker 1: Right. Yeah, so.
- 36:59Speaker 6: But shouldn't it at least be, like, there's another game
- 37:01Speaker 6: where it's even and minus 120.
- 37:03Speaker 4: Like, even should be.
- 37:05Speaker 6: I feel like my point is 10 years, five years ago,
- 37:08Speaker 6: it was either there's a minus and at worst even,
- 37:12Speaker 6: but usually there's a minus and a plus.
- 37:14Speaker 1: Well, if it's only a one point game or one
- 37:16Speaker 1: and a half point game, That's up to the public.
- 37:19Speaker 1: Is the one worth something very important to you or not?
- 37:21Speaker 1: Kansas City. You can bet minus one, minus $ 1. 10. Let's
- 37:24Speaker 1: use Circa's odds. Minus one, minus $ 1. 10. Or you can
- 37:28Speaker 1: use the money line, lay an extra five cents in
- 37:30Speaker 1: case the game is 21-20 or something like that.
- 37:33Speaker 4: Or like baseball, I see it a lot.
- 37:35Speaker 6: Minus 120, minus 105 in baseball.
- 37:39Speaker 1: If you're betting with that, you should change your bookmaker.
- 37:43Speaker 4: But I see it a lot.
- 37:45Speaker 1: What happened was, John... These books came to the country,
- 37:48Speaker 1: you know, eight years ago, and they were using this
- 37:52Speaker 1: pricing that they got. They literally made the public that
- 37:56Speaker 1: never bet before. They said, oh, it's minus 120 one way,
- 38:00Speaker 1: minus 110 the other way. Right. And the public was like, oh, OK,
- 38:02Speaker 1: that's the way it is. No, it was never that
- 38:04Speaker 1: way here. It was minus 120. Come back plus $ 1.
- 38:07Speaker 4: 10. Right. So.
- 38:09Speaker 1: We're back to the 10-cent line starting point, at least,
- 38:12Speaker 1: at some of the books. But the books back east,
- 38:16Speaker 1: some of those big books, they're still charging ridiculous money lines.
- 38:19Speaker 1: I would not even think to play the money line
- 38:21Speaker 1: unless they have too much one-sided where you're still getting
- 38:24Speaker 1: a value on one side or the other side.
- 38:27Speaker 4: Let me ask you this. Baseball. Did you watch World
- 38:29Speaker 4: Series last night?
- 38:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 38:30Speaker 4: Exciting innings.
- 38:31Speaker 6: Great comeback for the Rays. I'm looking right now at
- 38:33Speaker 6: circa the board. To win the series, I know it's crazy.
- 38:37Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 38:38Speaker 4: But if the Rays did win tonight, two wins and another.
- 38:43Speaker 1: It could happen. When's the last time it happened? The Yankees, maybe,
- 38:47Speaker 1: I think, when they were down 3-0?
- 38:48Speaker 4: The Yankees were up 3-0? It's very rare.
- 38:50Speaker 1: Was that Boston?
- 38:51Speaker 4: It might have been Boston.
- 38:52Speaker 1: Boston.
- 38:53Speaker 3: Cowboy up.
- 38:53Speaker 4: Came back.
- 38:54Speaker 1: It can happen. Plus 875 right now.
- 38:55Speaker 4: Okay. Milwaukee's a giant favorite tonight.
- 38:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:02Speaker 4: Well, they have their ace on the mound also.
- 39:03Speaker 1: Mizorowski?
- 39:04Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah.
- 39:05Speaker 1: You could take $ 1.
- 39:07Speaker 4: 45. Wow.
- 39:08Speaker 1: That's an unbelievable home dog.
- 39:10Speaker 4: But momentum being a thing?
- 39:11Speaker 1: Yeah. Sure, sure.
- 39:13Speaker 5: $ 100?
- 39:14Speaker 4: That's the end of them.
- 39:15Speaker 1: Milwaukee is an easy winner. John won't stop until everyone's
- 39:18Speaker 1: in a homeless shelter.
- 39:19Speaker 4: I'm not saying I would do it. I was just wondering,
- 39:22Speaker 4: do you like stuff like that?
- 39:23Speaker 1: Yeah, sure. Why not?
- 39:24Speaker 3: Yeah, why not?
- 39:25Speaker 1: Gamble, gamblero. That's Johnny. Johnny boy.
- 39:27Speaker 4: No gamble, no future.
- 39:28Speaker 1: Gamble, gamble, no future, yeah.
- 39:30Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 39:31Speaker 1: Anyway, all right, John. So we're good. I'm having a
- 39:34Speaker 1: good guest come on to talk about these Ticketmaster things. Ticketmaster,
- 39:39Speaker 1: they screwed me on Metallica tickets. They screwed some kid
- 39:42Speaker 1: on the Game 1 of the World Series. What are they?
- 39:45Speaker 4: Explain the Metallica thing.
- 39:46Speaker 1: Ticketmaster, I think I talked about it here. Ticketmaster, they're
- 39:51Speaker 1: just a marketplace. I didn't... Not Ticketmaster. StubHub? Ticketmaster's bad, too, though.
- 39:56Speaker 1: Ticketmaster's bad, too, on the resale market. They're pretty bad, too,
- 39:59Speaker 1: with StubHub. Have you had any experience at all with StubHub?
- 40:03Speaker 4: Nothing bad.
- 40:04Speaker 1: Tell us what happened. You bought tickets, no problem?
- 40:06Speaker 4: I bought tickets to Dodger games with StubHub.
- 40:08Speaker 1: You know what's funny? I bought tickets to.
- 40:09Speaker 4: It's very rare I'm buying tickets to sporting events crap,
- 40:11Speaker 4: because I usually.
- 40:12Speaker 1: Yeah, you get them free.
- 40:12Speaker 4: I get them free.
- 40:13Speaker 1: Johnny Hollywood.
- 40:14Speaker 4: You know, comedy crime. Of course. Crime don't pay.
- 40:16Speaker 1: But... I bought them for the Padres game a couple
- 40:19Speaker 1: years ago, and it was not a problem. But I
- 40:21Speaker 1: have had problems now two out of three times. I
- 40:24Speaker 1: bought great tickets on StubHub, and then all of a sudden,
- 40:30Speaker 1: the day before the show, they said, yeah, we don't
- 40:32Speaker 1: have your tickets. Sorry, we'll give you your money back.
- 40:34Speaker 1: I had great seats. What happened was StubHub said the
- 40:39Speaker 1: guy pulled his tickets off there. They were back on
- 40:42Speaker 1: there for $ 300 or $ 500 more per seat. That's the problem.
- 40:46Speaker 1: I bought them for $ 700 a seat, and they were
- 40:49Speaker 1: back up for over $ 1, 000 a seat. And I never
- 40:51Speaker 1: got them back and stuff. I wanted nothing to do
- 40:53Speaker 1: with it. They're a terrible, terrible organization. Terrible. And maybe
- 40:57Speaker 1: all the ticket agencies are like that. So I have
- 40:59Speaker 1: someone that knows about these different ticket companies. And you're
- 41:02Speaker 1: going to tell us a little bit more about that. Okay.
- 41:04Speaker 1: We'll have that on, guys. Thank you.
- 41:05Speaker 4: That's next week?
- 41:06Speaker 1: No, that's this week. We're going to have it on
- 41:08Speaker 1: next week. Hey, guys, we've got a special for you here.
- 41:10Speaker 1: We've got a buddy of mine that I followed on Twitter.
- 41:13Speaker 1: And either I followed him or he followed me back.
- 41:16Speaker 1: One of the two. But Scott Friedman. Now, Scott, tell us,
- 41:21Speaker 1: and you'll have to remind me here. So I think
- 41:24Speaker 1: I put up a tweet on my StubHub ordeal that
- 41:28Speaker 1: I had with them. And I think... either someone sent
- 41:30Speaker 1: me to you or you're following me, something happened. And, uh,
- 41:33Speaker 1: and then I seen you had a channel that you
- 41:35Speaker 1: have your own show. First of all, tell us a
- 41:38Speaker 1: little about yourself. Where am I calling you at?
- 41:40Speaker 3: Where are you at?
- 41:40Speaker 1: What part of the country?
- 41:41Speaker 7: Yeah, Scott Freeman.
- 41:43Speaker 5: I'm a temporarily in Myrtle beach, Ohio, Myrtle beach, South Carolina,
- 41:48Speaker 5: based in Cleveland, Ohio. So obviously I travel around, like
- 41:51Speaker 5: to see different places around the country. I mean, I
- 41:54Speaker 5: obviously love it out in Vegas too. I'm a regular, uh, Three,
- 41:58Speaker 5: four times a year guy in Vegas. Love your show
- 42:00Speaker 5: with sports betting and everything. But I founded the Ticket
- 42:04Speaker 5: Talk Network two years ago and been a.
- 42:08Speaker 7: Ticket sales, live marketing guy my entire life.
- 42:11Speaker 5: Have worked on the team side, have worked as a
- 42:14Speaker 5: ticket reseller, have worked for some of the biggest.
- 42:17Speaker 7: Consolidators, ticket resellers in the space.
- 42:20Speaker 5: And just kind of like the ticket expert for all
- 42:23Speaker 5: live events, and we track the biggest live events happening
- 42:27Speaker 5: each and every day, whether that's the World Series going
- 42:29Speaker 5: on right now, whether that's Taylor Swift, whether that's Super Bowl,
- 42:35Speaker 5: FIFA World Cup, we're like the main hub for all
- 42:38Speaker 5: live events and tracking ticket prices for the biggest live
- 42:41Speaker 5: events daily, and really the second part is of how
- 42:43Speaker 5: we got to know each other is um calling out
- 42:47Speaker 5: stuff comes um practices they're just screwing over fans yeah
- 42:51Speaker 5: single day they're deceptive they're um in my opinion allegedly
- 42:56Speaker 5: running a uh really like a ponzi scheme just to
- 43:00Speaker 5: like make cook their books make their books look good
- 43:03Speaker 5: not refund um buyers that have been wronged by by
- 43:07Speaker 5: stubhub i know that you're one of the victims from
- 43:10Speaker 5: it and It's just at such scale, we even had
- 43:12Speaker 5: to hire an attorney to represent people. And Brad Clements'
- 43:16Speaker 5: law has recovered over $ 10 million.
- 43:18Speaker 1: Wow. Where are they located, Scott? Where's Brad Clements? You said,
- 43:24Speaker 1: where are they located?
- 43:24Speaker 5: Yeah, Brad Clements is located in Texas, and he actually
- 43:28Speaker 5: practices law in California where StubHub's based. So it's actually
- 43:31Speaker 5: a huge arbitration case and mediation's going on to help–
- 43:37Speaker 5: victims of StubHub recover their victims as we speak. I
- 43:40Speaker 5: think they have a hearing in early November to hopefully
- 43:43Speaker 5: settle those cases and get the buyers back their money.
- 43:48Speaker 5: A lot of them have been recovered already. Some obviously haven't.
- 43:51Speaker 5: And Clements Law, through our partnership, has done a fantastic job.
- 43:56Speaker 7: Doing that for us. And we're very grateful to him.
- 43:58Speaker 5: And we just hear horror story after horror story, though,
- 44:02Speaker 5: every single day. And there's been World Series horror stories.
- 44:04Speaker 5: If milwaukee latin this past weekend and it just keeps
- 44:07Speaker 5: getting worse it seems.
- 44:09Speaker 1: Well like for my example was my wife wanted to
- 44:11Speaker 1: go see metallica i bought two seats where i thought
- 44:13Speaker 1: were really good seats i'm sure i paid about double
- 44:16Speaker 1: face value which i was happy with doing they were
- 44:18Speaker 1: aisle on the end and they were a good section
- 44:21Speaker 1: i thought it was perfect for me and uh and
- 44:25Speaker 1: then 24 hours before the show they said yeah, those
- 44:28Speaker 1: seats are no longer available, so we're going to refund
- 44:30Speaker 1: you the money or give you some other options. But meanwhile,
- 44:32Speaker 1: they were back up on StubHub for about $ 300 to
- 44:35Speaker 1: $ 500 more per seat. I don't understand. I didn't understand
- 44:40Speaker 1: how that worked.
- 44:40Speaker 4: Why?
- 44:41Speaker 1: So what actually happened there was, I guess, the seller said,
- 44:45Speaker 1: wait a minute, I can get more frig this guy.
- 44:48Speaker 1: And StubHub is an intermediary.
- 44:50Speaker 3: They're a middleman.
- 44:50Speaker 1: Is that the way it works, Scott? You can tell me.
- 44:52Speaker 7: Yeah, that's the way it works. I mean, your scenario
- 44:54Speaker 7: happens every single day.
- 44:56Speaker 5: Whether it's a stub hub causing it, or they're in
- 44:59Speaker 5: cahoots with the seller causing that, that they sold too
- 45:03Speaker 5: cheap and they want to cancel the order and sell
- 45:05Speaker 5: the order for more when events surge, like Metallica is
- 45:08Speaker 5: at the sphere currently. That's definitely all allegedly could be happening.
- 45:14Speaker 7: And it's just so many. Shouldn't that be illegal?
- 45:18Speaker 1: Shouldn't it be illegal?
- 45:20Speaker 5: Absolutely legal. And, Like I said, U.S. Congress is on
- 45:24Speaker 5: them to find out more facts. Lawsuits are happening all
- 45:27Speaker 5: over the place. This needs to stop with StubHub. There's
- 45:30Speaker 5: just so many variables of illegal things going on, screwing
- 45:35Speaker 5: buyers every single day with examples such as yours not
- 45:38Speaker 5: filling the orders, seeing your same ticket, same seat numbers
- 45:42Speaker 5: back on StubHub ironically. It happens all over the country
- 45:47Speaker 5: every single day. We're trying to get to the bottom
- 45:49Speaker 5: of it. We want to get it fixed and We
- 45:51Speaker 5: just have to keep fighting. They're a massive brand, the
- 45:54Speaker 5: number one brand on the secondary. And obviously people are
- 45:56Speaker 5: just getting to get it around this now. They're obviously
- 45:59Speaker 5: aware of it, but obviously it's a lot of work
- 46:02Speaker 5: needs to be done. I can't be the only voice
- 46:04Speaker 5: out there that tells folks not to do business with
- 46:08Speaker 5: them anymore, but it's, we're making a lot of progress
- 46:10Speaker 5: and we're talking $ 10 million in claims.
- 46:13Speaker 7: Clements Law did a great job. Congress wants answers on why.
- 46:16Speaker 5: This deceptive stuff is happening with the company and we're
- 46:21Speaker 5: definitely making a lot.
- 46:22Speaker 3: Of strides lately.
- 46:23Speaker 1: Well, they're making so much money. I'm sure this little
- 46:25Speaker 1: 10 million is a little nothing to them. Right. So
- 46:28Speaker 1: they're making so much money, but so like even the
- 46:31Speaker 1: world series, I seen a kid was screwed out of
- 46:33Speaker 1: his tickets or something. That's why I said to have
- 46:35Speaker 1: you on here, this kind of the practice. Now, does
- 46:37Speaker 1: this happen on other sites than, or just StubHub? Does
- 46:41Speaker 1: it happen on the Ticketmaster secondary market or the other ticket,
- 46:45Speaker 1: whatever else, you know, Does it happen there, or are
- 46:49Speaker 1: we singling out StubHub, or is it everyone that sells
- 46:53Speaker 1: resale tickets?
- 46:54Speaker 5: I mean, the great thing about Ticketmaster, I mean, their
- 46:57Speaker 5: tickets have to be verified. So on TMTM resale, like 99%,
- 47:01Speaker 5: there's no issues.
- 47:02Speaker 1: For the most part.
- 47:03Speaker 7: Oh, okay.
- 47:04Speaker 1: All right.
- 47:04Speaker 7: The other smaller sites, I mean, Vivid Seeds, TickPick.
- 47:08Speaker 1: Yeah, TickPick.
- 47:10Speaker 7: They sometimes have issues, but not to the scale of StubHub.
- 47:14Speaker 4: Why? Why?
- 47:15Speaker 1: The StubHub is definitely allowing this more often.
- 47:17Speaker 7: Because they're allowing this.
- 47:19Speaker 5: And like you said, they're the Amazon of ticketing, the
- 47:22Speaker 5: biggest company out there. So they figure they could just
- 47:24Speaker 5: bully me, you, the average person, and just keep going
- 47:29Speaker 5: along and cut their losses and keep selling and continue
- 47:33Speaker 5: to be a $ 2 billion valuation.
- 47:36Speaker 7: So it's truly sickening.
- 47:40Speaker 1: So if you're Joe Public, and this is what I
- 47:42Speaker 1: wanted to bring you on for, my viewers are people
- 47:45Speaker 1: that want to buy tickets to go to shows, come
- 47:47Speaker 1: here to Vegas, go to the Sphere, maybe go to
- 47:51Speaker 1: a secondary market, of course, especially for big sellouts like that,
- 47:55Speaker 1: or even the big shows that come to MGM, Grand
- 47:58Speaker 1: Garden Arena, T-Mobile. What should they do? I always buy
- 48:03Speaker 1: tickets last minute. but what should they do? Even the
- 48:07Speaker 1: world series now, what should they do to get their
- 48:10Speaker 1: best value and to make sure they're going to have
- 48:12Speaker 1: that ticket in hand when the event starts? Yeah.
- 48:15Speaker 7: Great question. Number one, don't use stuff up.
- 48:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 48:19Speaker 5: What I recommend for any fan to do for Vegas
- 48:22Speaker 5: shows or any events nationwide and Vegas is the mega
- 48:25Speaker 5: capital of the world for live events. So many shows
- 48:27Speaker 5: going on. The Vegas sphere is unbelievable. MGM shows, Coliseum shows.
- 48:32Speaker 5: So Vegas is the best, live entertainment capital of the world.
- 48:36Speaker 5: So what I recommend everyone to do, it's very simple.
- 48:38Speaker 5: You want to compare the primary. So whether it's a
- 48:41Speaker 5: Ticketmaster for the Vegas Sphere or whatever primary box office
- 48:46Speaker 5: MGM uses, I think it's AXS or the Coliseum or
- 48:49Speaker 5: any other of the smaller theaters in Vegas, compare the primary,
- 48:53Speaker 5: then compare that to SeatGeek.
- 48:56Speaker 7: SeatGeek's the most reliable secondary site out there.
- 48:59Speaker 5: It's not perfect by any means, but they are much
- 49:03Speaker 5: more likely to fix an issue right away than a
- 49:07Speaker 5: site like StubHub. So if you compare the primary to SeatGeek,
- 49:12Speaker 5: whether that's last minute like you, or I mean, I'm
- 49:15Speaker 5: a last minute type of guy too. I like to
- 49:17Speaker 5: get the best deal possible. Do those things. two methods
- 49:21Speaker 5: and you won't have any issues and hopefully you'll find
- 49:24Speaker 5: the best price.
- 49:25Speaker 7: Between the two.
- 49:25Speaker 1: Oh, wow, SeatGeek. I never even knew SeatGeek was a
- 49:28Speaker 1: seller of seats. I thought SeatGeek was a place where
- 49:31Speaker 1: you could show you where a seat's going to be.
- 49:34Speaker 1: So there are ticket sales places also. I didn't even know.
- 49:37Speaker 5: They started as an aggregator, more to your motto, about
- 49:40Speaker 5: a decade ago. They've really evolved the last five, six
- 49:43Speaker 5: years into a marketplace. And I respect them because literally
- 49:48Speaker 5: we work with them. If there is issues, I have
- 49:50Speaker 5: a contact in the C-suite to make that issue.
- 49:54Speaker 7: Corrected right away.
- 49:55Speaker 5: So that's why I praise them because they're more than
- 49:58Speaker 5: happy to help if there is any situation with your tickets,
- 50:01Speaker 5: which there isn't often with SeatGeek.
- 50:04Speaker 7: So compare SeatGeek.
- 50:05Speaker 5: To Ticketmaster or whatever primary ticketing system the venue is
- 50:10Speaker 5: using in Vegas or nationwide.
- 50:13Speaker 1: Okay, so where can people find you and find your podcast?
- 50:17Speaker 1: Do you have a weekly podcast?
- 50:19Speaker 5: Yeah, we'll have you on the pod. I love sports betting, too.
- 50:21Speaker 5: So we'll definitely talk sports betting. We'll have you back
- 50:23Speaker 5: on my pod.
- 50:25Speaker 1: I actually don't like talking sports betting. I talk Vegas shows,
- 50:28Speaker 1: Vegas entertainment, more than actually sports betting. But I do,
- 50:32Speaker 1: of course, sports betting is how I've been living for decades,
- 50:35Speaker 1: and I still do. But in general, about Las Vegas shows,
- 50:38Speaker 1: I love shows. Love going to Broadway shows. love going
- 50:41Speaker 1: to stuff. So tell them again, I didn't mean to
- 50:42Speaker 1: interrupt you.
- 50:43Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 50:43Speaker 7: So take, yes, yes.
- 50:44Speaker 5: Ticket talk networking, follow our ticket talk net on X ticket,
- 50:48Speaker 5: talk network.com at Scott Friedman. Three is my, um, mega
- 50:53Speaker 5: voice on X Twitter, where we have the most following.
- 50:56Speaker 7: And, um, literally we run about five, six shows a week.
- 50:59Speaker 5: I'm putting out content 365, 24, seven on all the
- 51:03Speaker 5: biggest live events.
- 51:04Speaker 7: Happening across the country each and every day.
- 51:08Speaker 5: And, um, always happy to, uh, talk to folks, um,
- 51:12Speaker 5: obviously gather intel and, and obviously help the folks, um,
- 51:15Speaker 5: get the best possible.
- 51:16Speaker 1: And you're, you're in Myrtle Beach. Do you live in
- 51:18Speaker 1: Myrtle Beach? Have a house there?
- 51:19Speaker 7: No, just visiting now.
- 51:21Speaker 1: And, um, my, no, my brother, my brother-in-law, it was
- 51:24Speaker 1: secret service retired to Myrtle Beach. He's a cop now
- 51:26Speaker 1: in Myrtle Beach. I was like, wait, okay, cool. All right.
- 51:31Speaker 7: Month of the October be on the beach outside.
- 51:33Speaker 5: And, uh, get back to Cleveland here over the weekend
- 51:37Speaker 5: and keep grinding away. But yeah, I travel all over
- 51:40Speaker 5: the place. So we'll definitely connect when I'm in Vegas next.
- 51:43Speaker 1: Awesome. Look forward to it. Great to have you on.
- 51:46Speaker 1: I wanted to talk about what people go through a
- 51:48Speaker 1: little bit like myself. We've got to stay away from
- 51:50Speaker 1: StubHub and use some of the other networks. And you
- 51:53Speaker 1: said SeatGeek, which I didn't even know. So that could
- 51:56Speaker 1: help some people here. And we appreciate having you on
- 51:59Speaker 1: and look forward to having you on again. And I'm
- 52:01Speaker 1: happy to come on your show too. Thanks, Scott.
- 52:03Speaker 7: We'll have you on my show soon. Thanks for having
- 52:05Speaker 7: me on.
- 52:05Speaker 3: All right.
