- 0:45SPEAKER_00: I acknowledge them as the original storytellers of this land.
- 0:53SPEAKER_00: Welcome to this episode of Reflect, Reclaim and Liberate the Last for 2025, the final episode of the year.
- 1:02SPEAKER_00: And this is really an invitation.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: It's an invitation to you to pause, to look back at everything you've navigated in 2025, and to look forward with intention, conscious intention to the year ahead.
- 1:41SPEAKER_00: These reflections are exactly for you.
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: They're an opportunity to pause, to reflect.
- 3:27SPEAKER_00: Yes, with honesty, but also with really lots of compassion for ourselves.
- 3:32SPEAKER_00: Lots of compassion for our 2025 version of ourselves.
- 3:37SPEAKER_00: And if you take nothing else from this episode, I really want you to be kind and compassionate when you reflect on 2025.
- 3:45SPEAKER_00: Whether you choose to journal on these questions or reflect on them in your own time or not, whatever you do, however you close out your year, do it with the most kindness and compassion for that earlier version of you who navigated 2025.
- 4:03SPEAKER_00: Let's go.
- 4:04SPEAKER_00: Question one.
- 4:28SPEAKER_00: So what have you learned this year?
- 4:31SPEAKER_00: Question two, reflection two.
- 4:34SPEAKER_00: What have you learned about yourself?
- 4:38SPEAKER_00: What did you learn about yourself?
- 4:41SPEAKER_00: And I think when we think about this, we have a tendency to go to the hard moments, right?
- 4:46SPEAKER_00: What did we learn in the hard moments?
- 4:49SPEAKER_00: And if you do that, there's no judgment, there's nothing wrong in doing that.
- 4:54SPEAKER_00: And if you do that, go to not just the moment or moments themselves, but what it revealed about you, what it opened you up to knowing or learning or or becoming, no, not becoming, but knowing or learning about yourself.
- 5:07SPEAKER_00: What did you learn about yourself this year?
- 5:10SPEAKER_00: And think about across all areas of your life and of your life experiences through the year.
- 5:18SPEAKER_00: So not just in the hard moments, because we, as I said, we do have a tendency to kind of doom-scroll our life when we look back and go, Oh, yeah, that was really hard, and I learned that.
- 5:28SPEAKER_00: What did you learn more globally about yourself?
- 5:31SPEAKER_00: Question number three: where did you surprise yourself this year?
- 5:35SPEAKER_00: You know, maybe it was a strength, maybe it was a softness.
- 5:38SPEAKER_00: What bravery, what clarity emerged that you perhaps didn't expect?
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: How did you show up for or surprise yourself this year?
- 5:49SPEAKER_00: Question four, what was your biggest challenge?
- 5:53SPEAKER_00: And I would really invite you to take a little bit of time with this one because again, we tend to sort of doom scroll, right?
- 6:00SPEAKER_00: Doom scroll our own life, or you know, there might be a knee-jerk type of reaction, particularly if you have been in the messy middle parts of perhaps negotiations with an ex-partner, exiting a relationship, reorganizing life after separation, divorce.
- 6:15SPEAKER_00: But take some time to honestly reflect on this one.
- 6:19SPEAKER_00: What was your biggest challenge?
- 6:23SPEAKER_00: Number five, what are you celebrating?
- 6:26SPEAKER_00: What feels like your greatest achievement, even if it's something only you know about?
- 6:32SPEAKER_00: What are you celebrating as you move out of 2025?
- 6:37SPEAKER_00: Look back across the year.
- 6:38SPEAKER_00: What do you have to celebrate?
- 6:40SPEAKER_00: What are you celebrating and what are you celebrating yourself for?
- 6:44SPEAKER_00: Number six, what skills or capacities did you grow or cultivate this year?
- 6:53SPEAKER_00: What new skills have you gained?
- 6:54SPEAKER_00: Practical, emotional, relational, financial, parenting, all of it counts.
- 7:02SPEAKER_00: What new skills did you learn?
- 7:04SPEAKER_00: It might be something completely random, like juggling, who knows?
- 7:09SPEAKER_00: What new skills did you learn?
- 7:11SPEAKER_00: How did you expand your capacity, your capabilities, your knowledge?
- 7:15SPEAKER_00: What did you grow in you this year?
- 7:19SPEAKER_00: Number seven.
- 7:21SPEAKER_00: What or who have you let go of grieved or lost this year?
- 7:32SPEAKER_00: What or who have you let go of, grieved or lost this year?
- 7:36SPEAKER_00: What have you evolved beyond this year?
- 7:39SPEAKER_00: And let this be spacious, let yourself tell the truth, the real truth, the whole truth.
- 7:48SPEAKER_00: What or who, even what stories or roles have you shared, let go of, expanded beyond, and what are you grieving?
- 7:59SPEAKER_00: Number eight, what are you most proud of yourself for?
- 8:03SPEAKER_00: And think here especially about some of those quiet, private, perhaps unseen moments.
- 8:09SPEAKER_00: This is an opportunity to really honour you, your growth, your expansion, your quiet, private moments, how far you've come, or it might be a super amazing, loud and proud moment, right?
- 8:21SPEAKER_00: What are you most proud of?
- 8:24SPEAKER_00: And this question or this reflection is really about honouring your own expansion becoming.
- 8:31SPEAKER_00: What are you most proud of?
- 8:37SPEAKER_00: Number nine, what have you grown, cultivated, or gained this year?
- 8:42SPEAKER_00: It's a little like what new skills have you gained, but it's a tweak on it.
- 8:47SPEAKER_00: What did you cultivate or grow in yourself or your life?
- 8:51SPEAKER_00: Confidence, boundaries, joy, stability, a new beginning, a new identity.
- 8:59SPEAKER_00: What have you cultivated, grown, or gained this year?
- 9:05SPEAKER_00: Number 10.
- 9:06SPEAKER_00: Who or what has influenced you most this year?
- 9:11SPEAKER_00: Who were the people who influenced your thinking, your behaviour, your choices, your decisions?
- 9:18SPEAKER_00: And who have been your biggest supporters and cheerleaders?
- 9:24SPEAKER_00: Influencers, supporters, cheerleaders, but I really want you to think about those influencers.
- 9:30SPEAKER_00: Who or what has influenced you the most across this year?
- 9:37SPEAKER_00: And with regard to supporters, cheerleaders, if someone or someone's come to mind, maybe think about writing them a thank you note.
- 9:47SPEAKER_00: You may choose to hold that to yourself or you may choose to share it.
- 9:53SPEAKER_00: But part of my end-of-year reflections personally is about thinking about people who've impacted me across the year.
- 10:01SPEAKER_00: And if I'm writing Christmas cards or Christmas emails or letters, including that in my communication with them.
- 10:10SPEAKER_00: What surprised you this year?
- 10:12SPEAKER_00: Maybe something beautiful, magical, unexpected.
- 10:15SPEAKER_00: What was in your 2025 beautiful, magic, unexpected, unplanned?
- 10:22SPEAKER_00: What moment what experience?
- 10:26SPEAKER_00: Number twelve.
- 10:29SPEAKER_00: What values mattered most to you this year?
- 10:35SPEAKER_00: And an expansion of this reflection is did your choices honour those values?
- 10:41SPEAKER_00: Did your life, your living, reflect the values that mattered most to you in 2025?
- 10:52SPEAKER_00: Number 13.
- 10:53SPEAKER_00: Which emotions were the most dominant or present for you this year?
- 11:00SPEAKER_00: What were the say three to five dominant emotions of your year?
- 11:05SPEAKER_00: What feelings shaped your inner landscape?
- 11:10SPEAKER_00: What emotions were most present, most dominant?
- 11:17SPEAKER_00: Number fourteen.
- 11:36SPEAKER_00: And number 15 is what actually did matter the most this year?
- 11:43SPEAKER_00: Could be that they are one and the same.
- 11:47SPEAKER_00: But it's an interesting experience or an it's an interesting reflection to consider what did you think would be most important and what actually turned out to be the most important?
- 12:01SPEAKER_00: Number 16.
- 12:04SPEAKER_00: What would you like or what do you need to give yourself permission for as this year ends?
- 12:11SPEAKER_00: Is it rest?
- 12:12SPEAKER_00: Is it letting go?
- 12:14SPEAKER_00: Is it beginning again?
- 12:15SPEAKER_00: Is it asking for help?
- 12:17SPEAKER_00: Is it getting out of your own way?
- 12:19SPEAKER_00: What do you need to give yourself permission for as this year ends?
- 12:24SPEAKER_00: And I guess an extension of that is as we move into 2026.
- 12:31SPEAKER_00: Reflection number 17.
- 12:33SPEAKER_00: What will you take with you into 2026?
- 12:38SPEAKER_00: And what stays right here in 2025?
- 12:43SPEAKER_00: What are you consciously taking forward with you?
- 12:47SPEAKER_00: And what are you actively choosing to leave behind to release?
- 12:54SPEAKER_00: 18.
- 12:56SPEAKER_00: What do you want more of in 2026?
- 12:59SPEAKER_00: What do you want more of in how you live, how you love, how you parent, how you show up at work, how you show up in with in friendships or in family, how you lead yourself.
- 13:11SPEAKER_00: What experiences, moments, or feelings from this here do you want more of?
- 13:17SPEAKER_00: Give yourself full permission here.
- 13:20SPEAKER_00: Let yourself want what you want.
- 13:22SPEAKER_00: What do you want more of in 2026?
- 13:26SPEAKER_00: And if you've listened to the podcast for a while, you know that I don't actually believe in manifestation.
- 13:33SPEAKER_00: Um, and I was having a conversation just today today with someone about it.
- 13:40SPEAKER_00: What do you want more of?
- 13:42SPEAKER_00: Define that.
- 13:43SPEAKER_00: You're not going to manifest it by just defining it right.
- 13:46SPEAKER_00: You are going to make conscious aligned choices and decisions that gift you or create more of that for yourself.
- 13:55SPEAKER_00: So that's the manifestation piece.
- 13:57SPEAKER_00: But there's a whole other podcast episode on that, you can go back and search for it.
- 14:01SPEAKER_00: Number 19.
- 14:03SPEAKER_00: What one action, one action or actions, perhaps three at most, would you like to take before the year closes?
- 14:17SPEAKER_00: What one action or couple of actions would you like to take before the year closes?
- 14:25SPEAKER_00: Don't let the I can'ts, I should've, I shouldn'ts come in here.
- 14:28SPEAKER_00: What would you like to act on?
- 14:31SPEAKER_00: What actions would you like to take?
- 14:36SPEAKER_00: And then 20 is how will taking these actions make you feel?
- 14:45SPEAKER_00: And how will you feel if you don't take them?
- 14:50SPEAKER_00: Now this is a reflection to make without shame, blame, judgment, whatever.
- 14:57SPEAKER_00: It is just facts, okay?
- 14:59SPEAKER_00: These are the one to three actions that I would like to take.
- 15:02SPEAKER_00: If I take them, I'm gonna feel like this.
- 15:05SPEAKER_00: If I don't take them, I'm probably gonna feel like this.
- 15:08SPEAKER_00: And don't take not taking them, one of the feelings might just be relief.
- 15:13SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 15:14SPEAKER_00: Don't make it wrong.
- 15:17SPEAKER_00: 21.
- 15:20SPEAKER_00: How will you nurture, care for, nourish yourself as the year closes and into the coming year, into 2026?
- 15:30SPEAKER_00: How will you honour what you need?
- 15:32SPEAKER_00: How will you tend, nurture, nourish, and care for yourself as the year ends?
- 15:38SPEAKER_00: What feels most like what you need?
- 15:42SPEAKER_00: What feels grounding?
- 15:43SPEAKER_00: What feels steadying?
- 15:44SPEAKER_00: What feels rejuvenating or energizing or nourishing?
- 15:47SPEAKER_00: What does your body need?
- 15:49SPEAKER_00: What do you need?
- 15:50SPEAKER_00: How will you nurture, care for, and nourish yourself?
- 15:54SPEAKER_00: 2022.
- 15:56SPEAKER_00: It is the reflect coaching question.
- 15:59SPEAKER_00: How do you want to feel?
- 16:01SPEAKER_00: How do you want 2026 to feel?
- 16:06SPEAKER_00: And I invite you with this one to dream big.
- 16:11SPEAKER_00: Dream into possibility.
- 16:14SPEAKER_00: Dream big and wide and broad, not just the usual, right?
- 16:18SPEAKER_00: How do you really want 2026 to feel for you?
- 16:24SPEAKER_00: Because clarity on this is crucial.
- 16:28SPEAKER_00: It's that bridge between it's what's going to drive you, right?
- 16:33SPEAKER_00: So it is the manifestation key, it unlocks it.
- 16:38SPEAKER_00: It becomes your compass.
- 16:40SPEAKER_00: So how do you want to feel?
- 16:42SPEAKER_00: Define that, and then your choices, your decisions, your actions, your behaviors can be cross-checked against that.
- 16:49SPEAKER_00: If I choose X over Y, which of those gives me more of this feeling in my life?
- 16:57SPEAKER_00: How do you want 2026 to feel?
- 17:03SPEAKER_00: Number 23.
- 17:05SPEAKER_00: What is the first thing you'll do to create that feeling for yourself?
- 17:10SPEAKER_00: Just the first step.
- 17:11SPEAKER_00: You don't need the whole plan, you don't need a long list, one small doable thing, or even one massive big thing, right?
- 17:18SPEAKER_00: What's the first step you can take towards creating that feeling for yourself?
- 17:28SPEAKER_00: It could actually be nothing, right?
- 17:30SPEAKER_00: It could be something that you're gonna stop doing, something you're gonna do less of.
- 17:36SPEAKER_00: What is the first thing you'll do to create how you want more of how you want to feel in 2026?
- 17:42SPEAKER_00: Number 24.
- 17:45SPEAKER_00: What does your future self so you in a year's time, two years' time, five years' time, whatever, what does your future self want you to know right now?
- 17:59SPEAKER_00: She's already, or he's already, they've already lived the life that you are imagining.
- 18:08SPEAKER_00: Listen for the wisdom from your future self.
- 18:13SPEAKER_00: What does your future self want you to know right now?
- 18:18SPEAKER_00: And finally, number 25.
- 18:21SPEAKER_00: What promise are you making to yourself for 2026?
- 18:29SPEAKER_00: What promise, what is the promise you're making to yourself for 2026?
- 18:36SPEAKER_00: Big, small, what are you promising yourself?
- 18:40SPEAKER_00: Or what promise are you making to yourself for 2026?
- 18:46SPEAKER_00: Thank you for being here this year.
- 18:49SPEAKER_00: Thank you for listening, reflecting, thank you for choosing yourself.

- 19:22SPEAKER_00: I'm taking a break over January, but the podcast and I will see you maybe in a slightly different form.
- 19:30SPEAKER_00: Not sure yet.
- 19:31SPEAKER_00: So watch this space.
- 19:32SPEAKER_00: But we will be back in February.
- 19:35SPEAKER_00: So if you two are having a break, enjoy, go gently with yourself wherever you're at in your relationship, separation, divorce, or reclamation of your life afterwards.
- 19:46SPEAKER_00: I'll see you in 2026.
