- 1:44Speaker 4: brought to you by our friends at High Noon. I'll
- 1:47Speaker 4: tell you what, this past weekend, last weekend of fall golf,
- 1:50Speaker 4: probably in the Northeast... I was drinking high noons, and
- 1:54Speaker 4: I was absolutely in my element. I had a whole
- 1:58Speaker 4: box of the peaches. They were cold as ice, and
- 2:02Speaker 4: I was really on cloud nine.
- 2:03Speaker 1: No, it's so nice. You can get a specific flavor,
- 2:07Speaker 1: whether it be the vodka or the tequila. I've really
- 2:09Speaker 1: been enjoying the pineapple recently. Pineapple is one of those
- 2:13Speaker 1: blue blood flavors that's going to be a classic every
- 2:15Speaker 1: single time. But you could also stray out. I mean,
- 2:18Speaker 1: these tequilas come in a passion fruit, a strawberry, a grapefruit,
- 2:23Speaker 1: the lime like I have. There are so many options,
- 2:25Speaker 1: so many flavors. It's such good ingredients.
- 2:27Speaker 4: Exactly. And as we head into the winter months, I'll
- 2:30Speaker 4: tell you what, a lime high noon transports me right
- 2:34Speaker 4: to the beach.
- 2:34Speaker 1: That's right. You need it more than ever.
- 2:36Speaker 4: Yeah. So there's no malt, no high fructose corn syrup.
- 2:41Speaker 5: Never.
- 2:41Speaker 4: It's mine. I like the vodkas with real fruit juice,
- 2:44Speaker 4: sparkling water and natural flavors. Only 100 calories. He's a
- 2:47Speaker 4: tequila guy. If you're curious about where you can learn
- 2:51Speaker 4: more or get yourself some high noons, go to highnoonspirits.com.
- 2:55Speaker 4: Enjoy the episode. I had a different drink.
- 3:00Speaker 5: It's actually, I mean, it's got to be 100 degrees

- 3:22Speaker 5: brain hemorrhage.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Don't fuck around bro first jalen hurts and then kim
- 3:27Speaker 1: jong-un i'm breaking this live dead rumors that he's dead There's.
- 3:34Speaker 5: Rumors that he's dead.
- 3:34Speaker 4: I feel like there are always rumors.
- 3:37Speaker 5: Yeah, that's kind of what I was wondering, too, because
- 3:38Speaker 5: they said he was dead a couple years ago. I
- 3:41Speaker 5: actually don't think we've seen him since.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Isn't his girl boss daughter next in line?
- 3:46Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 3:47Speaker 1: I heard that he's got a CEO in training.
- 3:49Speaker 5: She's going to fuck shit up. It's going to be
- 3:51Speaker 5: one of those things where they're like, she's going to
- 3:53Speaker 5: be like, they don't think a woman can do this job.
- 3:55Speaker 5: So now I'm going to blow up everything. I'm going
- 4:00Speaker 5: to blow up the whole world. To show them I
- 4:03Speaker 5: can do it.
- 4:03Speaker 1: He's 42, having health problems. I mean, imagine being his doctor,
- 4:08Speaker 1: trying to tell him you can't do something.
- 4:09Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 4:10Speaker 5: I mean, they have health problems in their family, though.
- 4:13Speaker 1: No more sweets, Mr. O. Yeah, the Owens.
- 4:15Speaker 4: The Owens have health problems?
- 4:16Speaker 5: The Owens have a history of bad health problems. His brother,
- 4:19Speaker 5: or I don't know if it was his brother or
- 4:20Speaker 5: his dad, had a tumor on the back of his
- 4:22Speaker 5: head that was like the size of a bowling ball.
- 4:25Speaker 5: It was like another head. He had like two heads.
- 4:28Speaker 5: I swear to God.
- 4:29Speaker 1: I never saw that.
- 4:30Speaker 5: It's just... I mean, it's disgusting.
- 4:33Speaker 4: The classic Oon tumor.
- 4:35Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 4:35Speaker 4: You hate it. Everyone gets it. They all get it.
- 4:38Speaker 4: If you're an Oon, you're cursed.
- 4:39Speaker 5: Wait, wait, show this. This is insane.
- 4:42Speaker 1: So this is grandfather. Oh, did not have. Yeah, this
- 4:45Speaker 1: is propaganda, bro. You're basically regurgitating Chinese talking boys. And
- 4:47Speaker 1: what is that on the back of his head? That's
- 4:49Speaker 1: a haircut.
- 4:50Speaker 4: That's a boil.
- 4:51Speaker 5: That's a boil?
- 4:52Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 4:53Speaker 1: You goofy bastard. That's a haircut. This is obviously... If
- 4:56Speaker 1: there's not more images. Oh, my God.
- 4:58Speaker 4: That's a big time foil.
- 5:00Speaker 5: What do you think that is?
- 5:00Speaker 4: He should have popped that a long time ago.
- 5:02Speaker 5: And they're like, no, he doesn't have it.
- 5:04Speaker 4: That's not an oon. That's a dose.
- 5:05Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 5:07Speaker 4: Maybe even a trace. A tray.
- 5:09Speaker 1: That's like the emperor's new tumor. he's just walking around
- 5:14Speaker 1: and no one will tell him that he's got a
- 5:16Speaker 1: fucking bulbous growth on the back of his neck.
- 5:18Speaker 5: He must just think like no one notices like i
- 5:20Speaker 5: guess it must be like a lot more hidden than
- 5:23Speaker 5: i think yes it's tiny the doctor said anything yeah
- 5:25Speaker 5: the doctor said it doesn't exist it's not there this
- 5:28Speaker 5: is actually a good thing that means you have more
- 5:30Speaker 5: brain than anybody else like what does that mean though
- 5:32Speaker 5: like if if so like why would google say he
- 5:35Speaker 5: doesn't have it when we're looking at it he has it.
- 5:38Speaker 4: Well that's not necessarily a tumor.
- 5:42Speaker 5: So what is it?
- 5:43Speaker 4: Do I know? That's a black and white photo. That
- 5:47Speaker 4: photo was taken in 1312.
- 5:49Speaker 5: So what do you think it is? I mean, if
- 5:51Speaker 5: I'm looking at that, I'm going to go, that's a tumor.
- 5:53Speaker 5: I'm not a doctor. You still think it's a boil?
- 5:56Speaker 4: I was being funny. I like the word boil.
- 6:00Speaker 5: It really, what it looks like, a hot spot.
- 6:04Speaker 4: Is what you get a dog you know licks something
- 6:06Speaker 4: and then you shave the fur to let it dry
- 6:09Speaker 4: out that's what.
- 6:10Speaker 1: That but if it gets big enough you can get
- 6:12Speaker 1: wi-fi off of it he's definitely got 5g on that
- 6:17Speaker 1: thing on the back of his neck there's no doubt
- 6:19Speaker 1: in my mind.
- 6:19Speaker 4: The only people that have wi-fi in north korea are
- 6:22Speaker 4: people within a five foot radius of his hot spot
- 6:25Speaker 4: of that guy yeah i mean.
- 6:27Speaker 5: That is a tumor if I've ever seen one.
- 6:30Speaker 1: I think if Dr. Pimple Popper took a scalpel to that,
- 6:33Speaker 1: that would ooze a satisfying pus.
- 6:35Speaker 5: That shit's disgusting.
- 6:36Speaker 4: I hate that.
- 6:38Speaker 1: I love it.
- 6:38Speaker 5: At that point, you may as well just go on
- 6:40Speaker 5: LiveLeak and watch people getting their heads ripped off because
- 6:43Speaker 5: that shit is disgusting.
- 6:44Speaker 4: It really is. The worst ones are the ones where
- 6:46Speaker 4: people just squeeze their nose.
- 6:48Speaker 5: Yeah, and it's like shooting in all different directions.
- 6:50Speaker 4: A hundred pieces of white come out.
- 6:52Speaker 5: Yeah, it's nasty. It's very jarring to seeing that account
- 6:58Speaker 5: and then seeing like your mutuals that follow the it's
- 7:01Speaker 5: like you have this on your feed every day.
- 7:03Speaker 4: Some people are into it man i don't know why.
- 7:05Speaker 1: They're like calming 3 a.m like their last scroll it
- 7:09Speaker 1: like you'll see the comments on some of them and
- 7:11Speaker 1: it's like time to go to bed that's sick it's
- 7:13Speaker 1: the last thing that you see before bed it's really sickening.
- 7:16Speaker 5: The scrolling i'm out on scrolling i don't i don't.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Do that anymore oh wow virtuous yeah.
- 7:20Speaker 5: I mean i know you're still you're still bound to
- 7:22Speaker 5: the shackles of your phone.
- 7:23Speaker 1: I keep my phone in a different room i didn't
- 7:25Speaker 1: even know that you do.
- 7:26Speaker 5: Not you're trying to impress francis.
- 7:28Speaker 1: I didn't know that i honestly had no idea that
- 7:32Speaker 1: they moved.
- 7:33Speaker 6: On from your phone in another room i thought it
- 7:36Speaker 6: was kim jong-il your phone's not leaving you probably sleep
- 7:38Speaker 6: with it in your pocket You probably got those spandex
- 7:42Speaker 6: shorts and you.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Slide it underneath. I got an Allen Iverson headband and
- 7:45Speaker 1: it's just next to my face. I can answer a
- 7:47Speaker 1: call with my tongue.
- 7:50Speaker 5: Not me, though. I'm away.
- 7:51Speaker 1: I'm off.
- 7:52Speaker 4: Yeah, right. I'm ripped.
- 7:53Speaker 1: You probably saw a horrifying screen time number this week.
- 7:57Speaker 4: Oh, no.
- 7:57Speaker 1: We were like, I got to change.
- 7:59Speaker 5: I don't go on my phone.
- 7:59Speaker 4: You know what I did last night that I felt
- 8:02Speaker 4: a little irresponsible doing? You brought your phone into your room?
- 8:05Speaker 4: I'm sorry?
- 8:06Speaker 5: The phone entered the room.
- 8:08Speaker 4: No.
- 8:08Speaker 5: No.
- 8:09Speaker 4: I wanted to watch a movie, and so I didn't
- 8:13Speaker 4: want anything to do with my phone, and I just
- 8:15Speaker 4: turned it off completely. That was the whole time I
- 8:20Speaker 4: was saying that. I had it coming, and I was like,
- 8:22Speaker 4: I don't know if I'm going to get through this.
- 8:23Speaker 4: You did, though.
- 8:24Speaker 1: It's the power of human will.
- 8:27Speaker 4: I went full phone, just dead dark.
- 8:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:32Speaker 5: It feels a little risky.
- 8:34Speaker 4: You just think like, are my parents dying right now?
- 8:37Speaker 4: Are my parents dying as we speak as a consequence
- 8:42Speaker 4: of me disconnecting?
- 8:43Speaker 5: Yeah, the phone off feels risky.
- 8:46Speaker 4: Yeah, but I had just spoken to my parents and
- 8:50Speaker 4: had a nice conversation with them. So I felt like
- 8:53Speaker 4: if they perished... At least I had done.
- 8:55Speaker 5: We left it on good terms.
- 8:57Speaker 4: You let them know. Yeah, yeah.
- 8:58Speaker 1: You just got off the phone with their doctors. They
- 9:00Speaker 1: had a clean bill of health.
- 9:01Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 9:02Speaker 5: It felt suitable.
- 9:03Speaker 4: In fact, I knew I was going to turn my
- 9:05Speaker 4: phone off while I was on the phone with them.
- 9:07Speaker 4: So I was like, mom, dad, I just want you
- 9:08Speaker 4: guys to know you've been the best parents ever. Yeah, yeah.
- 9:10Speaker 5: Just in case anything happens in the next 90 minutes.
- 9:12Speaker 1: I'm watching the Norm MacDonald movie.
- 9:13Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 9:14Speaker 4: I did watch the Norm doc.
- 9:16Speaker 5: No spoilers.
- 9:17Speaker 4: I mean, it's like one of my favorite things that
- 9:20Speaker 4: I've ever seen.
- 9:21Speaker 5: I know. I've heard it's great. I'm pumped to watch it.
- 9:23Speaker 5: I'm actually going to watch that and I'm going to
- 9:25Speaker 5: see that Nathan Fielder doc.
- 9:27Speaker 1: I watched that. I'd love to get to that after
- 9:28Speaker 1: you talk about this.
- 9:29Speaker 4: Okay. I also watched the Lorne Michaels doc, which was
- 9:32Speaker 4: also really great.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Who made that?
- 9:34Speaker 4: I don't know. It's on Netflix.
- 9:37Speaker 5: Is that a Judd piece?
- 9:38Speaker 4: I'm not sure.
- 9:39Speaker 5: Because the Norm one was, right?
- 9:40Speaker 4: I think so.
- 9:41Speaker 1: Yeah. What made it extraordinary from a filmmaking perspective?
- 9:44Speaker 4: The Norm one? Yeah. I mean, it's just so, like, tongue-in-cheek. Like,
- 9:49Speaker 4: they play the great moments that so many of us
- 9:52Speaker 4: have seen on YouTube, right? like when he goes on
- 9:55Speaker 4: the view oh yeah he's like the president murder is
- 9:59Speaker 4: a murderer or something and they're like shut up and
- 10:02Speaker 4: they're like getting on him and they're mad yeah and
- 10:05Speaker 4: then they're like you can see this idiot later tonight
- 10:08Speaker 4: on who wants to be a millionaire and immediately cuts
- 10:10Speaker 4: to him get winning five.
- 10:12Speaker 5: Hundred thousand dollars and.
- 10:14Speaker 4: Then like blind guessing on the last one and regis
- 10:17Speaker 4: is like i can't let you yeah walk away with
- 10:20Speaker 4: just like blind guess and he's and he would have
- 10:22Speaker 4: gotten it yeah he's like i'll say greenbrier i remember
- 10:25Speaker 4: that it was what what uh golf course has like
- 10:28Speaker 4: a bunker under it for you know and he's like
- 10:31Speaker 4: i'll just guess greenbrier it's not pinehurst i know that
- 10:34Speaker 4: and he was right he would have won a million.
- 10:36Speaker 5: That's crazy i remember seeing that clip.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Yeah regis is such a piece of shit for that rfp.
- 10:42Speaker 5: That's the one where he pulls out the phone he
- 10:43Speaker 5: pretends to get a phone call and they're like what
- 10:46Speaker 5: was that and he's like i don't know He was like,
- 10:48Speaker 5: someone told me it would be funny if I pretended
- 10:50Speaker 5: to get a phone call.
- 10:54Speaker 4: He was a very odd guy.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 10:56Speaker 4: I mean, he didn't really like, I don't know, fit
- 11:00Speaker 4: in in a lot of ways, but I think that's
- 11:02Speaker 4: what made him so beloved.
- 11:04Speaker 5: Have you ever heard the Adam Sandler story of him
- 11:06Speaker 5: keeping the poker chips in his refrigerator? No. It's very funny.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Don't tell, don't say it though.
- 11:12Speaker 4: I won't.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Oh no, say it. Why don't you just tell me
- 11:15Speaker 1: the story?
- 11:16Speaker 5: You'll have to find it yourself.
- 11:17Speaker 1: Don't blue ball me with a story and be like, dude,
- 11:18Speaker 1: there's this incredible story. Anyway.
- 11:21Speaker 5: Well, I'm not just going to retell the story.
- 11:25Speaker 1: It offers nothing to the listener.
- 11:26Speaker 5: Pretty much Adam Sandler once visited Norm MacDonald's apartment in
- 11:30Speaker 5: the 1980s and found $ 25, 000 worth of Atlantic City casino
- 11:33Speaker 5: chips stored inside Norm's refrigerator. That's pretty much the short
- 11:38Speaker 5: of the story.
- 11:39Speaker 4: This sucks. The way this is happening, I hate it.
- 11:43Speaker 4: I hate this.
- 11:45Speaker 5: I apologize.
- 11:46Speaker 4: Well you add some color tell us your version.
- 11:49Speaker 5: I don't have a version i was simply just asking
- 11:51Speaker 5: why he did that no no i don't and.
- 11:55Speaker 1: It's somehow becoming unfunny did i was.
- 11:57Speaker 5: Kind of more asked i wanted you guys to hear
- 11:59Speaker 5: the story i was hoping one of you guys would
- 12:00Speaker 5: be able to explain the story to me had.
- 12:03Speaker 4: You only ever read this is that what happened.
- 12:06Speaker 5: No i've heard the story of adam sandler opening his
- 12:08Speaker 5: refrigerator and there's 25 000 of poker chips.
- 12:12Speaker 4: Okay, so apparently Norm claimed he won big on a
- 12:15Speaker 4: Friday and kept the chips in the fridge to consult
- 12:17Speaker 4: his manager, Bernie Brillstein, about how to avoid paying taxes
- 12:22Speaker 4: on the winnings. Brillstein told Norm that he still had
- 12:24Speaker 4: to pay taxes no matter what. When Sandler asked him
- 12:27Speaker 4: on Monday at Saturday Night Live if he cashed them in,
- 12:29Speaker 4: Norm admitted he had already lost all of them. Great story.
- 12:33Speaker 4: I'm glad I was able to bring that home. I
- 12:35Speaker 4: am too. You did a great job with that.
- 12:37Speaker 1: I didn't know you knew that story.
- 12:38Speaker 4: Well, you know, that's the classic Norm poker chip fridge story.
- 12:42Speaker 5: You did a great job with it.
- 12:43Speaker 4: I don't know if you guys know this, but the
- 12:44Speaker 4: fridge was actually an Xbox Live.
- 12:46Speaker 5: That would be awesome.
- 12:52Speaker 1: He's a Canadian, right?
- 12:53Speaker 4: Yep.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Nathan fielder's canadian too really and they both have like
- 12:57Speaker 1: a very such a peculiar sense of humor yeah such
- 13:01Speaker 1: a brilliantly unique sense of humor but in different ways
- 13:05Speaker 1: yeah and i find that about a lot of very
- 13:06Speaker 1: successful canadian comics isn't tom green like yeah peculiarly canadian as.
- 13:11Speaker 4: Well yes tell us about the nathan fielder documentary.
- 13:15Speaker 1: It was fucking incredible spoilers though it was incredible but
- 13:19Speaker 1: uh The circumstances of it to me were rather frustrating.
- 13:25Speaker 1: I went to a movie theater where you can lie
- 13:27Speaker 1: down in the movie theater seat. And the last time
- 13:29Speaker 1: I went there was the last movie I saw before
- 13:31Speaker 1: my wife gave birth to our kids. And we could
- 13:35Speaker 1: lay down fully and someone would bring you food because
- 13:38Speaker 1: you could order at your seat. And it was fucking awesome.
- 13:40Speaker 5: What theater?
- 13:41Speaker 1: It was Ipix in like, like, like Fidei, kind of
- 13:47Speaker 1: by the water.
- 13:47Speaker 5: I'm not familiar with that one.
- 13:49Speaker 1: You can lay down fully. And the food was pretty
- 13:52Speaker 1: fucking good. My wife had terrible acid reflux. She couldn't
- 13:55Speaker 1: eat anything, so I got three times as much.
- 13:57Speaker 4: Yeah, of course.
- 13:57Speaker 1: And I was gorging myself, and it was fantastic.
- 14:00Speaker 4: Nice.
- 14:00Speaker 1: And then this time, we went to the same theater,
- 14:03Speaker 1: showed up about five minutes before the theater, planning to
- 14:06Speaker 1: order again. And they said, it's under new management. They've
- 14:10Speaker 1: discontinued being able to order at your seat. You have
- 14:13Speaker 1: to wait in a long line. Got to the end
- 14:15Speaker 1: of the line right as the movie was starting, and
- 14:16Speaker 1: then they said, we're going to give you a buzzer
- 14:19Speaker 1: And you have to come back.
- 14:20Speaker 5: Oh, no.
- 14:21Speaker 1: 15 to 20 minutes.
- 14:22Speaker 4: Damn.
- 14:23Speaker 1: 15 to 20 minutes into the movie. We can't serve
- 14:26Speaker 1: you drinks at your seat either. You have to figure
- 14:28Speaker 1: out what you're going to want for the entire movie.
- 14:30Speaker 1: And like... You know, it was supposed to be a
- 14:32Speaker 1: boozy experience. You have to just figure it out right now.
- 14:34Speaker 5: That's not right.
- 14:35Speaker 1: That's not right.
- 14:36Speaker 5: And they made it so the seats don't fully recline anymore.
- 14:38Speaker 1: The seats did not fully recline.
- 14:39Speaker 5: Just a little cherry on top.
- 14:40Speaker 1: The seats didn't fully recline and they didn't have a side.
- 14:42Speaker 1: So I was just kind of sliding out of this
- 14:44Speaker 1: shared slab. It was fucking. They don't have a side?
- 14:48Speaker 1: There was no side to my seat.
- 14:49Speaker 5: What?
- 14:50Speaker 1: I had one foot on the ground.
- 14:52Speaker 4: You just sit on a bench. Just the coffin seats on.
- 14:54Speaker 5: It was the coffin seats again.
- 14:55Speaker 4: That's fucked.
- 14:56Speaker 1: I was just slipping out of these seats trying to
- 14:58Speaker 1: fucking giggle at this movie. And then about an hour
- 15:01Speaker 1: into the movie, like this really like distinct, it sounded
- 15:06Speaker 1: like a closed credits sound started playing this song. And
- 15:11Speaker 1: I was like, it's probably just in the theater next door.
- 15:13Speaker 1: I'm not going to get too distracted, but my wife's
- 15:15Speaker 1: getting distracted. People around me are starting to get distracted
- 15:18Speaker 1: and they're walking out, finding other people in the theater
- 15:21Speaker 1: to be like, what's this sound? Cause it goes on
- 15:24Speaker 1: and it goes on and it goes on again. And
- 15:26Speaker 1: it's about 45 minutes of just, songs playing inside the theater.
- 15:31Speaker 1: And then it stopped. And 15 minutes later, it started
- 15:33Speaker 1: up again with the same exact first song.
- 15:36Speaker 4: Someone's phone.
- 15:37Speaker 1: Someone's phone in the row right behind us was just
- 15:40Speaker 1: blasting music for maybe an hour and a half of
- 15:44Speaker 1: the movie. And it was infuriating.
- 15:46Speaker 4: Like they were doing it on purpose?
- 15:47Speaker 1: It was an old lady who didn't even know that
- 15:49Speaker 1: she was doing it.
- 15:50Speaker 4: Oh, you could have hit her.
- 15:51Speaker 1: Yeah, we should. Well, the ladies next to her started hitting.
- 15:54Speaker 1: One lady was like, hey, it's not okay. Like, why
- 15:56Speaker 1: are you smiling?
- 15:57Speaker 6: And the lady next to her is like, you've been
- 15:58Speaker 6: ruining an hour and a half of this fucking movie.
- 16:00Speaker 5: Like, don't smile.
- 16:02Speaker 4: Really?
- 16:02Speaker 1: Yes, it was like a full on.
- 16:04Speaker 5: Why didn't anyone stop her before it reached an hour
- 16:07Speaker 5: and a half?
- 16:07Speaker 1: It was at the bottom of her purse. So it's
- 16:09Speaker 1: like this kind of faint music that the entire movie
- 16:12Speaker 1: theater can hear.
- 16:13Speaker 4: She's a ventriloquist. She was throwing the sound all around.
- 16:17Speaker 1: She was a genius. She was like one of these
- 16:19Speaker 1: newfangled terrorists. She was running for government in Michigan or
- 16:23Speaker 1: something like that. She was destroying the movie watching experience.
- 16:27Speaker 5: That would never fly in a theater that I'm in.
- 16:31Speaker 5: I would have shut that down immediately. How? I would
- 16:33Speaker 5: have said, where's the sound coming from? Oh, directly behind us. Hey,
- 16:36Speaker 5: is there music coming out of your phone?
- 16:38Speaker 1: You couldn't tell it was directly behind us.
- 16:40Speaker 5: I just don't understand how you guys went the whole
- 16:42Speaker 5: movie and no one knew where it was coming from.
- 16:45Speaker 1: My wife left the theater twice to get someone in the... Like,
- 16:49Speaker 1: that works there to come in and deal with it.
- 16:51Speaker 1: They were walking around the theater with flashlights. Like, they
- 16:54Speaker 1: couldn't figure out where the sound was coming from. What?
- 16:56Speaker 1: Multiple guys in, like, black shirts were coming in like
- 16:58Speaker 1: fucking detectives flashing their flashlights trying to find out where
- 17:02Speaker 1: this sound was coming from.
- 17:03Speaker 5: That's crazy. I don't understand. I still don't understand. I
- 17:06Speaker 5: don't understand how no one would know, like... It's pretty
- 17:09Speaker 5: easy to isolate where a sound is coming from.
- 17:11Speaker 1: Well, I knew it was behind me and to the left.
- 17:13Speaker 1: And it's like, I kept on looking back, but it's like, okay,
- 17:16Speaker 1: is there a movie theater over there? Where does it end?
- 17:19Speaker 4: Harry, given that so many people couldn't figure it out,
- 17:23Speaker 4: I'm going to give Roan the benefit of the doubt.
- 17:25Speaker 5: That's where you're wrong.
- 17:26Speaker 4: I don't think we can just judge the sort of how,
- 17:32Speaker 4: where the sound was coming from.
- 17:33Speaker 5: I can't. I don't think there's any world in which
- 17:43Speaker 5: you could play a song from a phone and I
- 17:45Speaker 5: wouldn't be able to figure out where it's coming. Do
- 17:47Speaker 5: you guys not have ears that work?
- 17:51Speaker 1: I understand, but the entire theater was going through this.
- 17:55Speaker 5: Have you ever lost your phone and then you realize
- 17:58Speaker 5: your phone's playing music?
- 18:00Speaker 4: You're thinking of a phone that's not buried at the
- 18:02Speaker 4: bottom of a handbag, though.
- 18:03Speaker 5: You could cover the phone in a slab of cement.
- 18:04Speaker 1: And there's also a full movie with fucking Dolby Digital
- 18:08Speaker 1: surround sound. There's sounds coming from every direction. Everybody was lost.
- 18:13Speaker 5: Is this a scale issue?
- 18:14Speaker 4: Huh?
- 18:14Speaker 5: Scale issue.
- 18:15Speaker 1: It really isn't, bro. They had their best detectives coming in.
- 18:19Speaker 5: You guys had a bunch of fucking pilled out dudes
- 18:24Speaker 5: that are on Xanax. Walking around with flashlights trying to
- 18:28Speaker 5: figure out, like, they wouldn't give a fuck.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Their phones were probably on. Yeah, yeah. They probably had
- 18:33Speaker 1: fucking AirPods in.
- 18:34Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 18:36Speaker 1: It was so fucking frustrating.
- 18:37Speaker 5: Did someone actually yell at the lady?
- 18:39Speaker 1: Yes, the two ladies next to her. One was, like,
- 18:41Speaker 1: nicely yelling at her, but yelling at her, and the
- 18:43Speaker 1: other one was teeing the fuck off.
- 18:45Speaker 5: But how did the ladies right next to her not know?
- 18:48Speaker 1: They probably were like, there's probably theater to the right.
- 18:52Speaker 4: You're next to the sound.
- 18:54Speaker 1: I get it, bro.
- 18:55Speaker 5: You're right next to it.
- 18:56Speaker 4: I get it. It was fucking.
- 18:58Speaker 6: how are you sitting next to a you're sitting in
- 19:00Speaker 6: the seat next to where it's coming from and you
- 19:03Speaker 6: don't know where it's coming from i get it bro
- 19:05Speaker 6: that's insane it was infuriating like i could see if
- 19:07Speaker 6: you're a row in front and you're like because i
- 19:10Speaker 6: probably would have been like no if it was right
- 19:11Speaker 6: behind us the people next.
- 19:12Speaker 1: To me would have said something i would have thought
- 19:14Speaker 1: that too yeah or i mean that woman was with
- 19:16Speaker 1: someone those chairs are in pairs it's pairs of chairs
- 19:19Speaker 1: she has no right to be teeing off.
- 19:24Speaker 5: If i was the old lady i'd be like you
- 19:26Speaker 5: dumb bitch you didn't know i was playing this fucking
- 19:29Speaker 5: for an hour and a half right next to.
- 19:30Speaker 1: You was she with friends she i think she was
- 19:34Speaker 1: with i mean so it's uh you take the stairs
- 19:36Speaker 1: to the pairs of chairs and you're sitting there and
- 19:38Speaker 1: you have somebody else that you're with so you can't
- 19:40Speaker 1: buy take it basically alone uh someone else is on
- 19:43Speaker 1: your slab with you so there's probably an old man
- 19:45Speaker 1: that also couldn't hear that was sitting next to.
- 19:48Speaker 4: Her i can't go to this place by myself I mean, it'd.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Be weird because you're sharing a slab.
- 19:53Speaker 4: Everything I do is weird because I'm always by myself.
- 19:56Speaker 5: What if you got the slab for yourself?
- 19:59Speaker 1: You probably have to pay double for a double slab.
- 20:02Speaker 5: How much is the slab?
- 20:03Speaker 4: What if you're 10 pounds heavier than you want to
- 20:05Speaker 4: be and you need an extra chair? 25 pounds?
- 20:06Speaker 5: He said pounds, bro.
- 20:11Speaker 8: I went to London yeah yeah true um but yeah
- 20:16Speaker 8: I don't know if you could go but we got
- 20:18Speaker 8: up to give her a dirty look and she's like
- 20:20Speaker 8: older she's not super old but she's.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Older how old is older I didn't dirty. It was
- 20:26Speaker 1: old enough where as soon as I started dirty looking,
- 20:28Speaker 1: I had to look away because I'm like, what am
- 20:30Speaker 1: I going to fucking bully this fucking geriatric hearing aid victim?
- 20:34Speaker 5: I just can't believe that the people next to her
- 20:36Speaker 5: were yelling at her.
- 20:38Speaker 1: These were like Afro-Latinos yelling at her.
- 20:40Speaker 5: That's so crazy.
- 20:41Speaker 4: Those are the best. Yeah, they were.
- 20:43Speaker 5: Afro-Latinos?
- 20:44Speaker 1: Yeah, there were two Afro-Latinos.
- 20:45Speaker 4: If you could have elected someone in the theater to
- 20:48Speaker 4: do that dirty work, that's the reason.
- 20:50Speaker 1: And that was God working.
- 20:51Speaker 4: Yeah, of course.
- 20:52Speaker 1: He gave his.
- 20:54Speaker 4: I just.
- 20:54Speaker 1: Strongest challenge to his strongest warriors or whatever the fuck.
- 20:58Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't know. That's a bizarre situation.
- 21:00Speaker 1: It was bizarre. But still, I found the movie to
- 21:04Speaker 1: be incredible. I found it to be genius. Best movie
- 21:09Speaker 1: of the year for me.
- 21:10Speaker 4: Here's what we'll do here. You and I will go together.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Sheriff's lab.
- 21:13Speaker 4: We'll rent out the entire theater.
- 21:16Speaker 5: And then we'll place phones.
- 21:17Speaker 4: And then we'll put phones in all the empty seats.
- 21:20Speaker 5: I'll find them all.
- 21:20Speaker 4: Try to guess.
- 21:21Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 21:22Speaker 4: Whose phone.
- 21:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 21:23Speaker 5: I mean, if you guys want to do like an
- 21:24Speaker 5: Easter egg scavenger hunt type thing, I guarantee I'll find every.
- 21:27Speaker 4: I think what I want really to do at some
- 21:29Speaker 4: point on the podcast at this point, because you're really
- 21:32Speaker 4: bragging about your ability to like echo locate.
- 21:35Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 21:35Speaker 1: He thinks he's a submarine.
- 21:37Speaker 4: Yeah. Fucking bad. um i want to turn the lights
- 21:42Speaker 4: down to movie theater lighting yeah you could.
- 21:45Speaker 5: Turn them off completely i'll put i'll put a blindfold
- 21:47Speaker 5: on blast it'll enhance we're gonna.
- 21:49Speaker 4: Be blasting other like movie sounds yeah yeah and see
- 21:54Speaker 4: if you can figure out where the phone is i love.
- 21:56Speaker 5: That well here's here's two things that you're not spin
- 21:58Speaker 5: me around blindfold me do whatever you want yeah i'll
- 22:02Speaker 5: find a pinata yeah i think there's two things you're
- 22:04Speaker 5: not accounting for one all the other people in the theater.
- 22:08Speaker 1: So there's going to be like blockages and you're going to,
- 22:11Speaker 1: it's going to be a whodunit. It's like a game
- 22:12Speaker 1: of guess who? You're not going to just have an
- 22:15Speaker 1: empty theater. And the other thing is you're trying to
- 22:18Speaker 1: pay attention to the movie. You're not trying to think
- 22:20Speaker 1: about the phone. You're trying to ignore the phone.
- 22:22Speaker 5: But if the phone's going on for an hour and
- 22:23Speaker 5: a half, that's the whole, I mean, how long is
- 22:26Speaker 5: the movie?
- 22:27Speaker 1: Three hours.
- 22:28Speaker 5: Three hours?
- 22:29Speaker 1: It's a fucking marathon.
- 22:31Speaker 5: Oh, my God.
- 22:32Speaker 4: It's like Deer Hunter, which I finished finally. Took me
- 22:34Speaker 4: six days. I'm not kidding you. Six whole nights of
- 22:38Speaker 4: watching it.
- 22:39Speaker 1: That's how the Hanukkah was started.
- 22:41Speaker 5: That's great. What the fuck? I didn't know it was
- 22:43Speaker 5: that long.
- 22:44Speaker 1: Damn. Yeah, it doesn't feel long, but it is quite
- 22:48Speaker 1: frustrating when there's somebody doing that to you.
- 22:50Speaker 5: Yeah, well, at least you got to watch the back
- 22:51Speaker 5: half in silence.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Well, the second half is like a different movie almost.
- 22:56Speaker 5: Oh, do they make you move theaters?
- 22:58Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 22:59Speaker 1: They rotate the set, so you're seeing something completely different.
- 23:03Speaker 1: It's a lot more showing than telling than most Nathan
- 23:07Speaker 1: Fielder movies. It's almost more serious, but even if you
- 23:10Speaker 1: knew the Elizabeth Holmes story, you could never know this
- 23:13Speaker 1: story that's presented in this movie.
- 23:14Speaker 4: Oh, I'm excited.
- 23:15Speaker 5: Do you need to know a lot about the Elizabeth
- 23:17Speaker 5: Holmes thing?
- 23:17Speaker 1: You don't need to know a damn thing.
- 23:18Speaker 5: Because I don't really know much.
- 23:20Speaker 1: You don't need to know fucking shit.
- 23:22Speaker 4: I know the whole story.
- 23:23Speaker 1: Tell them.
- 23:24Speaker 5: Tyler, can you bring up the Elizabeth Holmes story?
- 23:29Speaker 4: No, I'm kidding. I'm kidding. That doc is good, though.
- 23:33Speaker 4: That one on Elizabeth Holmes is good. I also listened
- 23:38Speaker 4: to a podcast about it that was called Blood Money
- 23:42Speaker 4: or something like that. I don't know. Whatever. That was
- 23:45Speaker 4: also very good.
- 23:47Speaker 5: She created a cure for cancer or something that didn't work?
- 23:50Speaker 4: She convinced... Very high-powered people and raised crazy funding for
- 24:00Speaker 4: this blood testing technique that she claimed could detect diseases
- 24:07Speaker 4: very early on. It was like a revolutionary product that
- 24:11Speaker 4: didn't actually work.
- 24:12Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 24:13Speaker 4: And they fudged a lot of the results and science
- 24:18Speaker 4: was completely dishonest. And she... Got a lot of people
- 24:24Speaker 4: that worked at the company to keep quiet even though
- 24:27Speaker 4: they knew. It was this huge... It got so far.
- 24:32Speaker 1: How much funding did they raise? Like $ 5 billion?
- 24:35Speaker 4: Billions. It was like a multi-billion, many-billion dollar company.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Tyler, can you see how much funding Theranos raised?
- 24:44Speaker 4: I mean, she had.
- 24:45Speaker 1: That is a credit to her and you can't only
- 24:49Speaker 1: put it on her. If you're a crazy person... 1.4 billion.
- 24:53Speaker 4: Raised 1.4. And what was its valuation at its high point?
- 24:59Speaker 4: Theranos valuation. Yeah, 9 to 10 billion it was valued at. Yeah.
- 25:09Speaker 4: And this is a company that literally had a product
- 25:13Speaker 4: that had not been proven.
- 25:15Speaker 1: There was never a product. Yeah. There was never... And
- 25:18Speaker 1: it was like half the size of a tissue box
- 25:19Speaker 1: and it could do any type of blood test.
- 25:22Speaker 4: It was like an at-home blood test that could detect, theoretically, cancer.
- 25:28Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah. That's insane.
- 25:30Speaker 1: But it's all theoretical. It's like if you got your
- 25:34Speaker 1: app off the ground.
- 25:35Speaker 4: ASAP.
- 25:36Speaker 1: If you had ASAP at a $ 10 billion valuation.
- 25:40Speaker 5: That's where we're at right now. We just don't have
- 25:41Speaker 5: the money yet.
- 25:42Speaker 1: But that is the value.
- 25:46Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah.
- 25:47Speaker 1: At its peak. But if you had made as much
- 25:51Speaker 1: progress on creating ASAP as you actually have, but were
- 25:56Speaker 1: able to sell it for that much.
- 25:57Speaker 5: So it's like she pretty much had the idea of
- 26:00Speaker 5: what if there was an at-home blood test that did this,
- 26:03Speaker 5: and then she sold it, and then it didn't actually
- 26:04Speaker 5: work or exist.
- 26:06Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like Jersey Jerry or like Nicky Numbers having
- 26:10Speaker 1: the idea for disposable umbrellas, or my friend Mike who
- 26:13Speaker 1: had the idea of the clear toaster.
- 26:15Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah.
- 26:16Speaker 1: These are just ideas that.
- 26:18Speaker 4: Yeah, it'd be like if Elon Musk, before he had
- 26:24Speaker 4: become proven, had been like, I've created an electric car
- 26:29Speaker 4: that goes zero to 60 in like 2.8 seconds. But
- 26:33Speaker 4: the Tesla didn't actually work.
- 26:35Speaker 5: Yeah, it's like Sam Altman.
- 26:38Speaker 4: And made the company as big as it was, basically,
- 26:42Speaker 4: without ever showing anyone or anything.
- 26:45Speaker 5: What it actually does.
- 26:46Speaker 4: Or having a car that fucking worked.
- 26:49Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 26:50Speaker 1: But it's weirdly neither her nor Nathan Fielder are the
- 26:54Speaker 1: main character of the movie.
- 26:56Speaker 5: Oh.
- 26:57Speaker 4: Weird.
- 26:59Speaker 5: A hidden character.
- 27:00Speaker 4: People are so fascinated by her. I mean, it's her dishonesty,
- 27:04Speaker 4: but also the fact that she affected that deep lower voice.
- 27:08Speaker 5: I think people think she's like a complete lunatic, right?
- 27:12Speaker 4: They think she's a pathological liar and like a sociopath.
- 27:15Speaker 5: Because doesn't she still say that it works?
- 27:18Speaker 4: Yes.
- 27:21Speaker 5: We're making a documentary about it, so.
- 27:24Speaker 1: But you leave the documentary with questions.
- 27:29Speaker 8: Oh, really?
- 27:29Speaker 1: It's not like, it's almost like after.
- 27:31Speaker 5: Where's that phone?
- 27:36Speaker 1: How did I not know it was a phone? I
- 27:40Speaker 1: really was telling my wife it was credits, the end
- 27:42Speaker 1: credits to like a Ninja Turtles movie in the next.
- 27:44Speaker 5: For an hour and a half. Like, I feel like
- 27:46Speaker 5: that would fly for like five minutes.
- 27:48Speaker 1: But the same song started playing at like the 45
- 27:51Speaker 1: minute mark. It was like this dun, dun, dun, dun.
- 27:54Speaker 1: It was like fucking Bastille or something.
- 27:56Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah.
- 27:56Speaker 1: It wasn't even that though. It was a song I
- 27:57Speaker 1: never heard. So I was like, oh, it's probably just
- 27:59Speaker 1: the fucking- Do you know all the words to it now? No,
- 28:02Speaker 1: it was like weirdly instrumental and like, I don't- It
- 28:06Speaker 1: was haunting. It was truly haunting.
- 28:08Speaker 5: I'm quite curious about this song. I'm going to try
- 28:10Speaker 5: that tonight if I go.
- 28:11Speaker 1: You're not going to go see this. You probably can't
- 28:14Speaker 1: get in.
- 28:14Speaker 5: I didn't know it was three hours long. I'll tell
- 28:16Speaker 5: you that.
- 28:17Speaker 1: It's amazing, though. It's not like slapstick funny.
- 28:20Speaker 5: No, of course.
- 28:21Speaker 1: He's not slapstick, but it's not like a laugh a
- 28:23Speaker 1: minute like that.
- 28:24Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah.
- 28:25Speaker 5: But are there big laughs?
- 28:26Speaker 1: It has a deliberate pace. It's more like you're drunk.
- 28:28Speaker 5: Are there any knee slappers?
- 28:29Speaker 1: It's not knee slappers. Because there's like a measured... I
- 28:34Speaker 1: don't know. I think he does want to find out
- 28:36Speaker 1: the truth.
- 28:37Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 28:37Speaker 5: I mean, he's living with her, right?
- 28:38Speaker 1: Yeah, I think he does. Really?
- 28:40Speaker 5: He lives with her.
- 28:41Speaker 1: And unprecedented amounts of access.
- 28:44Speaker 5: But how long was he living with her?
- 28:46Speaker 4: Wow.
- 28:46Speaker 5: Like a year?
- 28:47Speaker 1: I'm not sure. Maybe, I think only like 40 days,
- 28:50Speaker 1: but like the 40 days until she went to prison.
- 28:52Speaker 5: That's crazy.
- 28:53Speaker 4: Dude, did you see the Fyre Fest guy, Billy McFarland
- 28:56Speaker 4: on Kill Tony?
- 28:57Speaker 5: No.
- 28:58Speaker 4: He like came out and did a minute. Never performed
- 29:01Speaker 4: stand-up before.
- 29:02Speaker 1: Did he kill?
- 29:03Speaker 4: No, everybody fucking hates him.
- 29:07Speaker 5: Isn't that like the worst? Like, isn't that like that
- 29:10Speaker 5: kind of just makes stand up seem like so lame?
- 29:12Speaker 4: The number of people who have hit me up and
- 29:14Speaker 4: been like, hey, man, I lost my fantasy league and
- 29:16Speaker 4: I have to do stand up comedy. Can you help
- 29:18Speaker 4: me write jokes? It's like, dude, I don't want to
- 29:21Speaker 4: think that my career is a fantasy football punishment.
- 29:25Speaker 5: That's what I mean.
- 29:27Speaker 4: You were so bad at fantasy football that you have
- 29:30Speaker 4: to do what I do for a living?
- 29:32Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 29:33Speaker 4: That's a nightmare. I don't want to help you with that.
- 29:36Speaker 5: It's like a little bit insulting. And it's also like.
- 29:40Speaker 5: it kind of just sucks that it's like the thing
- 29:42Speaker 5: that everyone once they've been you know like you have
- 29:46Speaker 5: however many washed out yeah like every single thing has
- 29:50Speaker 5: gone wrong and now you're like i'll try this out
- 29:53Speaker 5: at least i at least i can be racist at
- 29:56Speaker 5: least i can go and kill tony and say the
- 29:58Speaker 5: n-word yeah Like that's like the last resort.
- 30:03Speaker 1: It is pretty funny.
- 30:03Speaker 5: But for us, that's like the first resort.
- 30:06Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 30:07Speaker 1: I think it's also every guy who's ever like gotten
- 30:09Speaker 1: a laugh at one point in their life. They're like,
- 30:12Speaker 1: I'm actually funny as fuck.
- 30:13Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 30:13Speaker 1: I'm actually super funny. It isn't meant to like a
- 30:18Speaker 1: lot of guys. I bet 99% of guys, whether they'll
- 30:21Speaker 1: say it or not, believe that they're funny.
- 30:23Speaker 5: Oh, yeah, definitely. I feel like you kind of have to.
- 30:27Speaker 4: You know, it's funny you say that. And I mean this.
- 30:31Speaker 4: I don't think I'm, I wouldn't say that I'm funny.
- 30:34Speaker 4: I mean that 100% sincerely. I think I can be funny,
- 30:40Speaker 4: but I'm not naturally funny at all.
- 30:43Speaker 5: I don't even know what to say to that.
- 30:49Speaker 4: I have friends who just go through their life and
- 30:54Speaker 4: I can watch them and laugh.
- 30:56Speaker 5: Yeah, I agree with that.
- 30:57Speaker 4: And I'm not like that at all.
- 30:59Speaker 5: Yeah, I never thought I was funnier than any of
- 31:00Speaker 5: my friends.
- 31:01Speaker 4: People hang out with me who have never met me
- 31:03Speaker 4: for an evening and they often say, I really thought
- 31:07Speaker 4: you'd be a lot funnier. But not in a mean way.
- 31:10Speaker 4: They think that I won't be able to turn it off. Yeah, yeah.
- 31:14Speaker 4: Aside from this stuff, I'm pretty serious.
- 31:16Speaker 5: Like you're like Jim Carrey?
- 31:18Speaker 4: Correct.
- 31:19Speaker 5: Making faces and shit?
- 31:20Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 31:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 31:21Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 31:23Speaker 1: That sounds like living in a hell.
- 31:25Speaker 5: Yeah, it really does.
- 31:26Speaker 1: Just having to have like a pun cooked up for someone.
- 31:29Speaker 4: At all times. I was friends with a girl who
- 31:31Speaker 4: was a writer on SNL for a year or two
- 31:34Speaker 4: when he hosted. And she said that when he came
- 31:37Speaker 4: in for that week, it was like the hardest work ever.
- 31:41Speaker 4: That the entire group of SNL ever had.
- 31:45Speaker 5: Jim Carrey?
- 31:45Speaker 4: Yeah, because he just, he like made it impossible for
- 31:49Speaker 4: them to get things done.
- 31:51Speaker 5: Really?
- 31:51Speaker 4: Like they'd be going through a rehearsal and he would
- 31:53Speaker 4: just like derail it and do something zany and, you know, hyperactive. Yeah, yeah.
- 32:02Speaker 4: And couldn't like, if someone was talking and being like,
- 32:04Speaker 4: all right, everybody, now let's get set up. He'd like
- 32:06Speaker 4: go stand up next to them and be like mocking them.
- 32:09Speaker 4: You know? Yeah. Doing something.
- 32:11Speaker 5: That would be brutal at like 4 a.m.
- 32:13Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 32:13Speaker 5: Still doing read throughs.
- 32:15Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 32:15Speaker 5: Like, oh, Jim's on the floor again.
- 32:17Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 32:21Speaker 5: Jim's got the mask on again.
- 32:22Speaker 4: Jim just pantsed the sound tech. There's another lawsuit.
- 32:28Speaker 1: Imagine being married to him and you're having like a.
- 32:31Speaker 1: serious argument with your husband and he's just pressing his
- 32:34Speaker 1: nipple against like the glass of a window outside your
- 32:37Speaker 1: kitchen or some shit like all right jim like we
- 32:40Speaker 1: have to talk about like where we're gonna live in
- 32:42Speaker 1: five years.
- 32:44Speaker 5: It would be funny though like it would be cool
- 32:46Speaker 5: to be able to do all those faces and stuff
- 32:48Speaker 5: that he can do i mean just bring him out mid-fight.
- 32:51Speaker 4: He's one of the most talented people ever to be
- 32:54Speaker 4: in showbiz oh yeah without a doubt yeah I think
- 32:57Speaker 4: just harnessing that and pointing it in the right direction
- 32:59Speaker 4: must've been hard.
- 33:00Speaker 5: Did you guys ever see the thing where he did
- 33:02Speaker 5: like a, he like accepted an award at like some
- 33:04Speaker 5: movie festival or something. I thought it wasn't him.
- 33:07Speaker 4: What? I don't know.
- 33:08Speaker 5: I was going to say when you said it's the best,
- 33:10Speaker 5: I was like, there's no way we're talking about the
- 33:12Speaker 5: same thing. It's like, uh, He accepted a, this was
- 33:16Speaker 5: pretty recent.
- 33:17Speaker 4: Oh.
- 33:17Speaker 5: He accepted some award in like Europe or some shit.
- 33:20Speaker 5: And like, they think it, people think it was not him.
- 33:23Speaker 4: Oh, I have not seen that.
- 33:25Speaker 1: I do remember that. Yeah. But he used to come
- 33:27Speaker 1: on stage during like the VMAs and like, you know, costumes.
- 33:31Speaker 8: Oh, really?
- 33:31Speaker 1: Characters and shit like that.
- 33:32Speaker 4: That's fun. I really like that award speech he, where he,
- 33:36Speaker 4: or maybe he's just presenting where he's like, I am two.
- 33:39Speaker 5: Time Golden Globe winner.
- 33:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 33:41Speaker 4: Yeah. I don't just sleep the sleep of any man.
- 33:44Speaker 4: I dream about becoming three-time Golden Globe winner. Because then
- 33:48Speaker 4: I would be enough. I could stop this terrible search.
- 33:53Speaker 4: That's brilliant.
- 33:54Speaker 5: Yeah, that is very good. People used to do shit
- 33:56Speaker 5: like that. Remember when Will Ferrell came on at the
- 33:59Speaker 5: Oscars or something?
- 34:00Speaker 4: Jack Black.
- 34:02Speaker 5: He was with his kids and we were just at
- 34:04Speaker 5: soccer practice. It's classic.
- 34:06Speaker 1: That's funny. They don't do it anymore.
- 34:10Speaker 5: Because fucking Will Smith had to ruin it for all
- 34:12Speaker 5: of us.
- 34:13Speaker 4: That's it.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Kanye. Kanye first and then Will Smith.
- 34:17Speaker 5: Kanye didn't ruin it. He enhanced it. He took it
- 34:19Speaker 5: to the next level.
- 34:19Speaker 1: Storming the stage. He took it to the next level.
- 34:23Speaker 5: That was like 20 years ago.
- 34:25Speaker 1: Yeah, but that storming the stage for bits is funny.
- 34:27Speaker 1: Storming the stage to scare Taylor Swift and make it
- 34:30Speaker 1: about you.
- 34:31Speaker 5: But he didn't physically attack anybody like Will Smith did.
- 34:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I think that they're birds of a feather.
- 34:37Speaker 5: Would you rather be slapped or would you rather say
- 34:39Speaker 5: your album wasn't as good as people thought it was?
- 34:41Speaker 1: I'm saying it's a slippery. He started it and Will
- 34:44Speaker 1: Smith escalated it.
- 34:45Speaker 5: I'm just but I'm asking now, would you rather be
- 34:47Speaker 5: Chris Rock or Taylor Swift?
- 34:50Speaker 1: Taylor Swift.
- 34:51Speaker 4: That's a hard question.
- 34:52Speaker 5: It's a hard question.
- 34:54Speaker 4: It's hard to hear that question and not consider their
- 34:57Speaker 4: lives and scope of work.
- 34:59Speaker 5: I mean, they're both incredibly successful.
- 35:01Speaker 4: Their tough moment that they suffered at an awards show.
- 35:04Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:05Speaker 5: I mean, they're probably both billionaires, realistically.
- 35:07Speaker 4: I don't think Chris Rock is a billionaire.
- 35:07Speaker 5: Chris Rock isn't?
- 35:08Speaker 4: No.
- 35:09Speaker 5: The Rock?
- 35:11Speaker 4: Why are we going there? Where does he come from?
- 35:14Speaker 4: Why is that coming in? Oh, I thought you meant.
- 35:16Speaker 5: Oh, you thought I was talking about Dwayne.
- 35:18Speaker 4: Yeah, of course I was. Of course I thought you
- 35:20Speaker 4: were talking.
- 35:21Speaker 5: I can see how you would mix that up. No,
- 35:22Speaker 5: I'm still on Chris.
- 35:23Speaker 4: Okay.
- 35:24Speaker 1: 60Ms, they're saying? Even though this is.
- 35:27Speaker 5: 60Ms.
- 35:27Speaker 1: Oh, he got divorced.
- 35:28Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 35:29Speaker 1: You think T-Swift is ever getting divorced in her life?
- 35:32Speaker 5: I think there's a chance she's probably already divorced.
- 35:35Speaker 1: Don't say that. You think because Trav likes that?
- 35:37Speaker 5: Because Killer Trav likes Shane's monologue.
- 35:39Speaker 1: You like that Instagram post?
- 35:43Speaker 5: No, Killer Trav.
- 35:45Speaker 1: That's two albums.
- 35:48Speaker 5: I saw that. It was hilarious. People were tweeting at
- 35:51Speaker 5: Taylor Swift with a screenshot of him liking it. It's like,
- 35:56Speaker 5: What do you think? You think Taylor Swift opens up Twitter?
- 35:58Speaker 5: You think she's on the Everything app?
- 36:01Speaker 1: I think she could be.
- 36:02Speaker 5: Hell no.
- 36:03Speaker 1: Or she could be getting... She probably got a report
- 36:05Speaker 1: of it from her security team.
- 36:06Speaker 4: Yeah, that's true.
- 36:07Speaker 5: They probably print out Twitter for her.
- 36:09Speaker 1: Just hand it to her. Bad news, man.
- 36:12Speaker 5: You're not going to like what you see on page three.
- 36:15Speaker 5: Kill the Travs gone rogue.
- 36:18Speaker 1: You think he's in the same house as her?
- 36:21Speaker 3: No.
- 36:21Speaker 1: No chance?
- 36:22Speaker 5: I think he's in like a tennis house out front.
- 36:25Speaker 5: He's not on the main property?
- 36:29Speaker 1: He's in Kansas City, obviously. Do you think she's in
- 36:32Speaker 1: Kansas City?
- 36:32Speaker 5: Hell no. Where did they play yesterday?
- 36:35Speaker 4: Kansas?
- 36:36Speaker 1: I'm not sure.
- 36:37Speaker 5: She was at the game yesterday. I think people don't
- 36:43Speaker 5: really get as mad anymore about her when they show
- 36:46Speaker 5: her on the games.
- 36:47Speaker 4: Because they got married.
- 36:48Speaker 1: She's a trad wife now.
- 36:49Speaker 5: It's like being a dad.
- 36:50Speaker 4: Who's daughter's boyfriend comes over it's like in my house
- 37:00Speaker 4: you better put a ring on it before you beat
- 37:01Speaker 4: the shit.
- 37:02Speaker 1: Out of it and now he can with impunity.

- 39:20Speaker 5: What do you think is going on with Justin Herbert?
- 39:44Speaker 1: I think he's not getting satisfied in bed.
- 39:45Speaker 5: Like severe depression or like, what do you think it is?
- 39:48Speaker 5: Cause like, he's like, he's given up. They're like, they're
- 39:52Speaker 5: like the worst team ever.
- 39:53Speaker 1: That's not on him. He's throwing missiles still.
- 39:55Speaker 5: He's throwing fucking nothing.
- 39:58Speaker 1: You're lashing. Cause AJ Brown is dropping everything that comes with.
- 40:02Speaker 5: Oh, I mean, I didn't even think about that, but no, seriously,
- 40:04Speaker 5: the chargers are like, like what the fuck happened? They're terrible.
- 40:08Speaker 1: Chargers suck. Rams suck. Eagles suck. I'm at a point
- 40:12Speaker 1: now where I'm pivoting to history. And I thought it
- 40:16Speaker 1: was going to be the Teddy Roosevelt book, River of Doubt,
- 40:22Speaker 1: that I just started. And by started, I mean I
- 40:24Speaker 1: put it next to my bed to start.
- 40:27Speaker 4: On top of your phone?
- 40:28Speaker 1: But I really, I'm doubling back into the Civil War. Oh,
- 40:33Speaker 1: very fun.
- 40:34Speaker 8: That's a fun one.
- 40:34Speaker 5: I'm doubling back into the Civil War. Have you picked
- 40:37Speaker 5: a side yet?
- 40:38Speaker 1: I'm still thinking about it. I have a holiday five-pack
- 40:40Speaker 1: of questions I'd love to ask you guys about the
- 40:42Speaker 1: Civil War.
- 40:43Speaker 5: I'd love to answer.
- 40:44Speaker 1: What you guys think.
- 40:45Speaker 5: I don't know if I've really solidified my views.
- 40:50Speaker 1: They're open-ended. Do you think that there was guilt-free slavery?
- 40:56Speaker 1: Do you think that there are people who didn't know
- 40:57Speaker 1: that they were doing something wrong? They thought it was naughty,
- 41:00Speaker 1: like having a donut, but defensible? Or was there actual
- 41:04Speaker 1: guilt-free slavery going on?
- 41:06Speaker 4: Oh, I think that I think that the majority of
- 41:10Speaker 4: slave owners just viewed slaves as not only property, but
- 41:16Speaker 4: a birthright.
- 41:17Speaker 5: My publicist said I'm not supposed to talk about this.
- 41:22Speaker 4: I think they convinced themselves that they were probably almost
- 41:25Speaker 4: like helping slaves. The slaves.
- 41:28Speaker 5: Yeah, probably.
- 41:29Speaker 4: This is a more civilized environment for them to work in.
- 41:33Speaker 5: What's the next question?
- 41:37Speaker 1: Karl Marx wrote letters about slavery. Do you think that
- 41:41Speaker 1: they had opinions on our war like we have opinions
- 41:44Speaker 1: on Israel and Gaza? Were there commentaries who were actually
- 41:49Speaker 1: aware of all the generals in history like Douglas Murray
- 41:51Speaker 1: and Dave Smith and stuff? And if there's a civil
- 41:54Speaker 1: war today... What would be the smallest or most obscure
- 41:57Speaker 1: country that would do a protest for us? Are they
- 42:01Speaker 1: protesting on our behalf if there's a civil war in
- 42:04Speaker 1: the U.S.
- 42:04Speaker 4: Today?
- 42:05Speaker 5: Hell no.
- 42:06Speaker 1: Yes, they are. They protested against Donald Trump. They're protesting
- 42:10Speaker 1: right now. The entire world did.
- 42:13Speaker 5: But if we had a civil war?
- 42:14Speaker 1: In Germany, they're protesting about Donald Trump. They're protesting in
- 42:21Speaker 1: weird-ass countries. If there was a war here, people in
- 42:26Speaker 1: some countries would be like, stop the war on the
- 42:28Speaker 1: fucking north or the south.
- 42:30Speaker 5: That's probably true, yeah. Maybe... Yes.
- 42:34Speaker 4: People would have very strong opinions, I'm sure.
- 42:37Speaker 5: What countries? I think the question was we had to
- 42:40Speaker 5: pick a country. I would say.
- 42:44Speaker 4: England would have strong opinions.
- 42:45Speaker 1: England, of course, would be outside.
- 42:46Speaker 4: France would have strong opinions. Canada?
- 42:48Speaker 1: That's another day for them.
- 42:50Speaker 5: I'm going to go Canada.
- 42:52Speaker 1: It's the smallest country.
- 42:53Speaker 5: Oh, we had to be the smallest? Venezuela, maybe? All right,
- 42:59Speaker 5: next question.
- 43:00Speaker 1: What if the South didn't have cotton? Who is responsible
- 43:08Speaker 1: for more deaths? Eli Whitney or Adolf Hitler?
- 43:13Speaker 8: Oh, man.
- 43:15Speaker 5: These are quite the questions.
- 43:16Speaker 1: If the North were able to grow cotton, would they
- 43:18Speaker 1: even have strict morals about slavery?
- 43:23Speaker 5: Are these your own questions?
- 43:25Speaker 1: I'm just wondering, is there a chance Abraham Lincoln was black?
- 43:29Speaker 1: He was 6'6, strong as shit, had coarse hair. His
- 43:33Speaker 1: dad left. He was Baptist. There were accusations of infidelity.
- 43:38Speaker 1: Is it not possible that Abraham Lincoln was black the
- 43:41Speaker 1: way logic is black? And maybe he was on a
- 43:43Speaker 1: mission to save his own people.
- 43:44Speaker 5: I like that one. I definitely like that one. That's
- 43:50Speaker 5: definitely possible.
- 43:52Speaker 1: You guys just never think about shit.
- 43:53Speaker 5: No, I've thought about that, Abraham Lincoln being black. That's
- 43:57Speaker 5: kind of a common one, right? Is it? People have
- 44:00Speaker 5: their theories about that.
- 44:01Speaker 1: Is that true?
- 44:01Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 44:02Speaker 1: So it's going around.
- 44:03Speaker 5: Yeah, you're not the first.
- 44:05Speaker 1: That Abraham Lincoln might be black.
- 44:06Speaker 5: I think Logic said that.
- 44:09Speaker 1: Did he actually?
- 44:10Speaker 4: No. I've never heard that. That's pretty good. That was good, Ron.
- 44:14Speaker 1: It just makes me wonder. It's just, it's nice to
- 44:16Speaker 1: think about, it's nice to listen to some history podcasts
- 44:19Speaker 1: when you're turning off your brain about football.
- 44:21Speaker 4: Totally.
- 44:22Speaker 1: Watch some YouTube videos about history.
- 44:25Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 44:25Speaker 5: I mean, football is just like, I like it and I'm, I'm,
- 44:28Speaker 5: I'm watching the games, but I just don't know if
- 44:30Speaker 5: I'm going to do the whole like four screen red
- 44:32Speaker 5: zone thing anymore.
- 44:34Speaker 1: It's a lot.
- 44:34Speaker 5: It's kind of like dopamine dump, you know, I'm trying
- 44:38Speaker 5: to maintain my dopamine level through what? Trying to keep
- 44:43Speaker 5: it smooth. I'm not trying to dump it all at 1pm.
- 44:44Speaker 4: No, you don't want to get dope sick.
- 44:46Speaker 1: I think that you're acting like you're... And by 8pm,
- 44:48Speaker 1: I'm depressed. You're acting like you're giving up scrolling, you're
- 44:51Speaker 1: giving up football, but what are you doing with your time?
- 44:55Speaker 5: League of Legends. I was telling the guys when you
- 45:01Speaker 5: guys were walking around that I've been playing League of
- 45:04Speaker 5: Legends on my laptop because I've been traveling the last
- 45:06Speaker 5: three weeks. And on Saturday night, I was playing and
- 45:11Speaker 5: I was laying in bed With a keyboard on my
- 45:14Speaker 5: chest and then the mouse just on the mattress. And
- 45:18Speaker 5: I was just laying like this.
- 45:20Speaker 4: Oh, my God.
- 45:22Speaker 5: Playing the way Stephen Hawking does?
- 45:25Speaker 4: Jesus Christ.
- 45:26Speaker 5: Playing for like two hours straight.
- 45:28Speaker 4: That is dark, man.
- 45:29Speaker 5: It was great. I mean, I had a great time.
- 45:32Speaker 1: You just didn't engage a single muscle except for your fingertips.
- 45:35Speaker 5: Yeah, just the fingers. It was like 1 a.m.
- 45:37Speaker 1: Your peak relaxation.
- 45:38Speaker 5: It was 1 a.m. at an Airbnb.
- 45:39Speaker 4: Airbnb.
- 45:40Speaker 1: Did you have any acid reflux or GERD?
- 45:43Speaker 4: No, none.
- 45:44Speaker 5: My GERD's actually been very, very manageable lately.
- 45:47Speaker 4: Good. I was worried about that.
- 45:48Speaker 5: Eating healthy. Signed up for the gym. Oh, you signed up?
- 45:53Speaker 4: You joined a gym? I did.
- 45:54Speaker 1: That's like putting the book next to your bed. It is.
- 45:56Speaker 5: It is, yeah.
- 45:58Speaker 4: What gym?
- 45:59Speaker 5: I'll never say.
- 46:00Speaker 4: Well, can you say like- It's not like a- Is
- 46:03Speaker 4: it a crunch or something? No, no.
- 46:05Speaker 5: It's not a franchise. Okay.
- 46:07Speaker 1: So it's that one in- In your neighborhood that's connected
- 46:10Speaker 1: to the strip club.
- 46:11Speaker 5: First of all, there's no strip clubs in my neighborhood.
- 46:15Speaker 4: I wonder if that's true.
- 46:17Speaker 5: I know it's true.
- 46:17Speaker 1: Checked.
- 46:21Speaker 5: I know where I live. There's no strip. There's just
- 46:23Speaker 5: a strip club on the corner.
- 46:25Speaker 4: Can we look up whether, are there any strip clubs
- 46:28Speaker 4: in Astoria?
- 46:29Speaker 5: I would assume there's a strip club in Astoria somewhere.
- 46:32Speaker 4: There's a complete reneging on your point.
- 46:35Speaker 5: Astoria is a very big neighborhood.
- 46:37Speaker 4: Well, you said your neighborhood.
- 46:39Speaker 5: And look, there isn't.
- 46:40Speaker 1: NYC Gentleman's Club.
- 46:42Speaker 5: And where's that, Ron?
- 46:43Speaker 1: Show Palace.
- 46:43Speaker 4: Wait, whoa, whoa, whoa.
- 46:44Speaker 5: Where's NYC Gentleman's Club?
- 46:45Speaker 1: All I see is Queens.
- 46:47Speaker 5: Gentleman's Club. Brooklyn.
- 46:49Speaker 4: No, it's on the BQE. That's the address. These are all,
- 46:55Speaker 4: it looks like a fucking, you know, sex offenders registry.
- 46:59Speaker 4: There's so many strip clubs. You might actually live. In
- 47:03Speaker 4: the most strip clubbed part of New York City.
- 47:06Speaker 5: Hell no. The most strip clubbed part of NYC is
- 47:09Speaker 5: like first or no. What is it, like ninth ave?
- 47:12Speaker 4: Yeah, all the way over by the Western Highway where
- 47:14Speaker 4: Hustlers is.
- 47:15Speaker 5: And you're driving and you're just passing strip clubs.
- 47:18Speaker 1: What's the Olympia slash South Beach thing? Because I thought
- 47:21Speaker 1: that was a gym that's connected to a strip club.
- 47:23Speaker 4: Oh, is that what you joined?
- 47:25Speaker 1: That's what I was talking about.
- 47:26Speaker 4: You went for the two for one special?
- 47:28Speaker 1: Olympia South Beach. It's an Olympia gym with a South
- 47:32Speaker 1: Beach strip club connected.
- 47:33Speaker 5: Yeah, that's where I'm going. How did you guys find
- 47:37Speaker 5: it that easily?
- 47:38Speaker 1: Doing a pole workout.
- 47:40Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 47:41Speaker 5: Now, the gym that I'm going to is not a
- 47:44Speaker 5: strip club. Glad we could clarify that. I also have
- 47:48Speaker 5: not gone, so maybe it is.
- 47:49Speaker 4: Are you trying to tell us that you've been doing
- 47:51Speaker 4: those pole dancing workouts? Is that what you're long way
- 47:56Speaker 4: of saying?
- 47:56Speaker 5: It's great for the core.
- 47:57Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah.
- 47:58Speaker 5: Solid core. You started doing solid core?
- 48:01Speaker 1: No, I can't. I haven't been able to with my knee.
- 48:03Speaker 1: I'm trying to get back into it.
- 48:04Speaker 5: What was that noise?
- 48:05Speaker 1: Did you hear that crack? I was able to get
- 48:08Speaker 1: back to just light squatting today.
- 48:12Speaker 5: You were squatting in the gym?
- 48:13Speaker 1: That feels a little risque, no? It was at the
- 48:17Speaker 1: risk of my physical therapist.
- 48:19Speaker 5: He said I was squatting. Oh, you're in PT.
- 48:21Speaker 1: I've been in PT for 11 weeks, bro. I'm on
- 48:24Speaker 1: my 12th week of PT.
- 48:25Speaker 5: How many weeks do you have to do?
- 48:27Speaker 1: Till fucking late November.
- 48:28Speaker 4: Oh, man.
- 48:30Speaker 5: That's brutal yeah how many times a week.
- 48:33Speaker 1: Uh twice a week oh i'm trying to.
- 48:35Speaker 5: Get back that's so brutal imagine adding something to your
- 48:39Speaker 5: schedule right now that's two times a week i would
- 48:42Speaker 5: be devastated like that's another thing i mean i'm in
- 48:49Speaker 5: there i would be like can you just like give
- 48:51Speaker 5: me the list of shit to do and i'll just
- 48:53Speaker 5: do it at my house.
- 48:54Speaker 1: Yeah, but you don't do it at your house.
- 48:55Speaker 4: You have to.
- 48:56Speaker 5: You don't have a choice. No, you do have a choice.
- 48:58Speaker 1: If you want to get back on the court. Yeah,
- 49:00Speaker 1: but people just blow their shit up again. People don't
- 49:03Speaker 1: do the PT. The average American isn't going to do
- 49:05Speaker 1: the PT, especially if left to their own devices.
- 49:08Speaker 5: I would never. I would just do it myself. I'd
- 49:11Speaker 5: just ask Chad. Chad, fix my knee.
- 49:16Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 49:17Speaker 5: Grok gave me a great rundown of my PT.
- 49:21Speaker 1: What's your PT?
- 49:23Speaker 5: I'm working on my knee.
- 49:25Speaker 4: Harry, I think you'll appreciate this. A buddy of mine
- 49:27Speaker 4: that I played a bunch of golf with this weekend, he...
- 49:31Speaker 4: I don't know where he got this idea, but he
- 49:33Speaker 4: decided to start a pest control business.
- 49:37Speaker 5: Oh, love that.
- 49:39Speaker 4: And he's doing it like, you know, this is a
- 49:44Speaker 4: well-to-do kid from a well-off family guy. And like, it's
- 49:51Speaker 4: just him and his partner right now. And his partner
- 49:56Speaker 4: was unavailable. His partner normally deals with the stuff.
- 49:59Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 50:00Speaker 4: And so he had to go and cut down a
- 50:03Speaker 4: wasp's nest.
- 50:06Speaker 5: Oh, is he gay?
- 50:10Speaker 4: What's the difference?
- 50:11Speaker 5: Partner.
- 50:13Speaker 4: No, his business partner. Oh, okay.
- 50:15Speaker 5: I genuinely thought you were talking about his wife or something.
- 50:18Speaker 5: And that's why I was asking. I was like, why
- 50:20Speaker 5: would his wife be going to cut down the wall?
- 50:22Speaker 5: That feels kind of backwards now. Making his wife go
- 50:26Speaker 5: chop down the wasp nest.
- 50:31Speaker 1: That story just fucking whipped your ass.
- 50:33Speaker 5: Well, him being gay makes way more sense now.
- 50:37Speaker 1: He's not gay.
- 50:38Speaker 5: So his gay boyfriend had to go cut down the
- 50:41Speaker 5: wasp nest. Or no, he did because his guy was.
- 50:44Speaker 4: I don't even. I'm not going to try.
- 50:46Speaker 5: Because his buddy was at Olympia.
- 50:47Speaker 4: We're going to move forward. We're going to move forward.
- 50:51Speaker 5: No, I do want to hear about this.
- 50:53Speaker 4: He's been telling me amazing horror stories about these early
- 50:57Speaker 4: months of the pest control business. But he made the point.
- 51:00Speaker 4: He was like, it's a recession-proof business.
- 51:03Speaker 5: Oh, yeah, definitely.
- 51:04Speaker 4: Cockroaches don't care about the economy.
- 51:06Speaker 5: No, if anything, they thrive when the economy is down.
- 51:09Speaker 4: That's right.
- 51:09Speaker 5: Yeah, no one can afford cock.
- 51:15Speaker 4: Certainly not his partner.
- 51:17Speaker 1: No, no. Yeah.
- 51:20Speaker 4: Okay, anyway, the point is, he told me that the
- 51:22Speaker 4: grossest thing he's seen so far is that he went
- 51:27Speaker 4: somewhere and there were, they had set traps. And in
- 51:32Speaker 4: one of the traps, they caught two rats. And by
- 51:37Speaker 4: the time he got there, there was one rat and
- 51:42Speaker 4: a tail. The rat had eaten, had killed and eaten
- 51:49Speaker 4: the other rat that was in the trap.
- 51:51Speaker 5: That's so fucked.
- 51:53Speaker 4: And rats will just eat each other.
- 51:55Speaker 1: What is in a rat tail?
- 51:56Speaker 5: That actually just gave me like the heebie, like I
- 51:57Speaker 5: just got the chills.
- 51:58Speaker 4: Apparently the rat tail is like the shrimp tail of
- 52:02Speaker 4: the rat. Even rats would be like, there's no meat
- 52:05Speaker 4: on that.
- 52:05Speaker 5: Oh, that's disgusting.
- 52:07Speaker 1: They ate the bones, but wouldn't eat the tail.
- 52:10Speaker 5: Have you ever seen a rat trap? They're like this big.
- 52:13Speaker 5: It's like, it's literally like.
- 52:15Speaker 1: It's like the Theranos machine.
- 52:17Speaker 5: When I was having the mouse problem at my last place,
- 52:20Speaker 5: or two places ago, I went to Lowe's to get
- 52:23Speaker 5: the wooden mouse traps, and they had the rat traps.
- 52:27Speaker 5: It's like a piece of plywood.
- 52:29Speaker 4: It's what ice kids are.
- 52:29Speaker 5: It's like this big.
- 52:31Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 52:31Speaker 5: It's fucking massive. If you stepped on it, you would
- 52:35Speaker 5: lose your foot. Why? Because they have the wooden ones.
- 52:41Speaker 4: Oh, and it has spikes in it or something?
- 52:42Speaker 5: No, it's just, it's literally like a steel pole.
- 52:45Speaker 4: Oh, it flattens?
- 52:47Speaker 5: You know, like a regular mousetrap?
- 52:49Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 52:49Speaker 5: I know what people use for rat traps, so they
- 52:52Speaker 5: don't use this.
- 52:52Speaker 4: I was thinking this was like a cage.
- 52:54Speaker 5: Yeah, it is.
- 52:54Speaker 4: Like the rat wanders in.
- 52:56Speaker 5: It's like the big black box.
- 52:58Speaker 4: Okay.
- 52:59Speaker 5: But they make the traditional wooden box.
- 53:02Speaker 4: Traps loaded yeah exactly thing yeah.
- 53:05Speaker 5: And like they have the mouse traps which are like
- 53:07Speaker 5: this big yeah and then the rat ones are like
- 53:09Speaker 5: this big wow that's crazy yeah it's disgusting that's crazy.
- 53:13Speaker 1: And it's like spikes on the inside of it like
- 53:15Speaker 1: when you have a rental car at the airport you.
- 53:17Speaker 5: Can't like back out yeah the rats can't back out
- 53:22Speaker 5: did he say anything about uh german roaches.
- 53:26Speaker 4: Um no But I'll ask. I'll make sure to ask.
- 53:31Speaker 1: I wonder if you could do a pro bono walkthrough
- 53:33Speaker 1: of Harry's spot and just see if we really are
- 53:36Speaker 1: free of them or if there's going to be like,
- 53:38Speaker 1: oh no, that's a fucking bulbous tumor of a roach.
- 53:43Speaker 5: I have to confess.
- 53:44Speaker 1: You saw one?
- 53:45Speaker 5: Yeah, last night. See, bro?
- 53:49Speaker 1: That's so cocky.
- 53:50Speaker 5: But in a different location. The sink.
- 53:54Speaker 1: Oh, man.
- 53:55Speaker 5: But I think it was because I was away. And
- 53:57Speaker 5: I had to run the sink. You know how they
- 53:59Speaker 5: say that they come up the sink if you go
- 54:01Speaker 5: away for a while?
- 54:02Speaker 4: Do they say that?
- 54:03Speaker 5: Yeah, they do say that.
- 54:04Speaker 4: That's what they say.
- 54:05Speaker 5: So I'm hoping that it was just like a one-time thing,
- 54:07Speaker 5: but I have to reapply when I get back. I
- 54:09Speaker 5: did a light spray last night, a light gassing.
- 54:13Speaker 1: Did you get the one that you saw?
- 54:15Speaker 5: I mean, covered it.
- 54:16Speaker 1: So it died?
- 54:18Speaker 5: For 30 seconds.
- 54:19Speaker 1: So it waited?
- 54:21Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 54:22Speaker 1: That means you breathed at least 15 seconds.
- 54:24Speaker 4: Of it in. Mm-hmm. This guy can't even handle like
- 54:27Speaker 4: half a spray of cologne and he's just fumigating his
- 54:30Speaker 4: entire apartment with rope spray.
- 54:32Speaker 5: That was the first one I've seen.
- 54:33Speaker 1: The cologne's not strong enough.
- 54:35Speaker 5: That was the first one I've got since the last
- 54:37Speaker 5: time we talked about it when I put the cock in.
- 54:40Speaker 5: When I laid my cock down.
- 54:43Speaker 4: I'm happy to hear it.
- 54:46Speaker 1: Yeah, that's pretty embarrassing. for all the shit you talked.
- 54:49Speaker 1: You've basically done a victory lap every week since then.
- 54:52Speaker 1: But I've also been- And the same roaches have just
- 54:54Speaker 1: been out of sight.
- 54:56Speaker 5: No, no, no. Because I've been seeing them in the
- 54:58Speaker 5: trash room. So I really think that's where they're coming from.
- 55:00Speaker 5: But maybe I'll email the building and be like, can
- 55:02Speaker 5: we do something about the trash room? Or do you
- 55:05Speaker 5: want me to do it? You want me to get
- 55:06Speaker 5: in there? Because I will if I have to.
- 55:08Speaker 1: Put the trap in.
- 55:09Speaker 5: I'll spray it down.
- 55:10Speaker 1: Put the pill in.
- 55:11Speaker 5: I mean, I got a gallon of spray. A literal gallon.
- 55:14Speaker 1: Where do you keep it?
- 55:16Speaker 4: In my closet. Oh my God.
- 55:17Speaker 5: It's got an automatic pump.
- 55:19Speaker 1: Oh my God.
- 55:19Speaker 5: It's got a hose.
- 55:22Speaker 4: You got to plug it in. Yeah.
- 55:23Speaker 5: You got to charge it.
- 55:24Speaker 1: It's probably like not even safe to have that in
- 55:26Speaker 1: your apartment.
- 55:27Speaker 5: No, it says it's good for indoor use.
- 55:29Speaker 1: But you could just have it like sitting next to
- 55:31Speaker 1: you and concentrate.
- 55:33Speaker 5: It's not sitting. It's not like I put it next
- 55:34Speaker 5: to my, on my bedside table when I go to bed.
- 55:36Speaker 1: But it's just in your closet.
- 55:38Speaker 5: It's in the closet. It's in the closet with the
- 55:40Speaker 5: door closed. I don't even smell it.
- 55:42Speaker 1: It's probably radioactive. Francis, do you ever see critters upstate?
- 55:47Speaker 4: Oh, that's a good question. This was really interesting. I
- 55:55Speaker 4: think it was Friday night. I took a nap on
- 55:59Speaker 4: my couch for three hours. I don't know how that happened.
- 56:03Speaker 5: How do you feel about that? When you wake up
- 56:05Speaker 5: from a three-hour nap, are you feeling good, or are
- 56:06Speaker 5: you like, what the fuck?
- 56:08Speaker 4: Didn't feel great.
- 56:09Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 56:10Speaker 4: Very disoriented.
- 56:12Speaker 1: You feel robbed a little bit. You're like, it's fucking
- 56:14Speaker 1: eight o'clock.
- 56:15Speaker 5: Like I missed the day.
- 56:16Speaker 4: Yeah. Well, I had had a big day. That's why
- 56:20Speaker 4: I took the nap.
- 56:21Speaker 5: Hitting the bottle.
- 56:22Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
- 56:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 56:24Speaker 4: Um, anyway, we, uh, I woke up and I was like, man,
- 56:29Speaker 4: I'm hot. So hot, sweaty. I'd slept on the couch.
- 56:34Speaker 4: So I went and, uh, I just opened the door
- 56:37Speaker 4: and I have that sliding door to the balcony. So
- 56:41Speaker 4: I opened it a pretty good amount. I was like, oh,
- 56:43Speaker 4: that feels really nice. There's a nice breeze coming in.
- 56:46Speaker 4: I think it was Friday was warm, 70 degrees up there.
- 56:51Speaker 4: So I was watching TV and my door was open,
- 56:54Speaker 4: but I was like, mosquito season's over just about. Like,
- 56:58Speaker 4: I don't think that bugs should be flying in too much. Yeah.
- 57:03Speaker 4: Out of nowhere, I hear what sounds like a fucking
- 57:07Speaker 4: helicopter fly into my place. And I'm like, what the
- 57:13Speaker 4: fuck was that?
- 57:14Speaker 1: Like a locust?
- 57:15Speaker 4: I go over and I look at the wall. A
- 57:18Speaker 4: praying mantis had flown in.
- 57:22Speaker 1: Oh, and you have to legally feed them until they're
- 57:24Speaker 1: 18 years old.
- 57:25Speaker 4: That's right. That's my responsibility.
- 57:27Speaker 1: You have to find out about private and public school.
- 57:30Speaker 4: That's a wayward teen. Yeah. And I was like, oh
- 57:34Speaker 4: my God, that thing is, first of all, awesome. Praying
- 57:39Speaker 4: Manti-Teos are fucking cool to look at.
- 57:43Speaker 5: They really are.
- 57:43Speaker 4: And they eat with their hands, kind of. And you
- 57:47Speaker 4: ever see one eating like a, I don't know, they'll
- 57:49Speaker 4: eat big, big bugs.
- 57:51Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 57:51Speaker 4: And they'll eat every piece of them, except the tail.
- 57:54Speaker 4: Of course.
- 57:54Speaker 5: It's like the shrimp tail.
- 57:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 57:56Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 57:57Speaker 4: And so I was like, well, I don't want to
- 57:58Speaker 4: kill this because these things are awesome and I really
- 58:01Speaker 4: respect them. So I thought for a long time, it
- 58:04Speaker 4: took me a long time to think because I was
- 58:06Speaker 4: very high.
- 58:09Speaker 5: Drunk and high.
- 58:10Speaker 4: No, not drunk anymore. I slept off the booze. Oh, okay, okay.
- 58:12Speaker 5: And then I was like, there's no way I'll.
- 58:14Speaker 4: Get to sleep unless I really take some pots to
- 58:17Speaker 4: the face. Yeah, yeah.
- 58:19Speaker 1: What time did you wake up?
- 58:20Speaker 4: 8 p.m.
- 58:21Speaker 1: You really did wake up at 8?
- 58:23Speaker 4: Yeah, I slept from 5 to 8.
- 58:24Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 58:25Speaker 5: See, that actually, I would say, is the worst.
- 58:27Speaker 1: Because what are you going to do? Like, go back
- 58:31Speaker 1: to bed?
- 58:31Speaker 5: Because taking a nap when it's light out and waking
- 58:35Speaker 5: up when it's dark out, that's, like, the most disorienting nap.
- 58:38Speaker 4: Maybe I should add that I had woken up at, like, 5.30 a.m.
- 58:42Speaker 4: to drive up to get an early tea time. Oh, okay, okay.
- 58:46Speaker 4: But anyway, so I decided, after a long time... Got
- 58:52Speaker 4: a cereal bowl, and I went over to the wall,
- 58:56Speaker 4: and I put the cereal bowl over the praying mantis.
- 59:00Speaker 1: How scared were you?
- 59:01Speaker 4: Not that scared.
- 59:02Speaker 1: A little bit, though?
- 59:03Speaker 4: Well, a little, but it wasn't afraid of me at all.
- 59:06Speaker 4: It wasn't reacting to me. It wasn't skittish. Hmm. It
- 59:11Speaker 4: knew that it was an alpha. So then I had
- 59:16Speaker 4: a piece of paper and I slid the piece of
- 59:20Speaker 4: paper behind the cereal bowl. Gently.
- 59:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 59:24Speaker 4: Creating a seal.
- 59:25Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 59:25Speaker 4: And then I flipped it and I went out to
- 59:28Speaker 4: the deck and I released it and it flew away. Oh.
- 59:31Speaker 1: That's amazing.
- 59:32Speaker 4: I felt really good about it. That is good.
- 59:34Speaker 1: That's an alpha move and you show the alpha who
- 59:36Speaker 1: the alpha is.
- 59:37Speaker 4: I also felt like I had solved a puzzle. Yeah.
- 59:40Speaker 5: I think that shows that you're ready for a dog.
- 59:42Speaker 4: While I was high.
- 59:43Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 59:44Speaker 1: Yeah. High would make it even scarier.
- 59:47Speaker 4: Yeah, it was. It was.
- 59:48Speaker 5: It was. challenging and with the bowl did the bowl
- 59:52Speaker 5: go back in or did it go.
- 59:53Speaker 4: In the washer dishwasher smart i'm not eating praying mantis cereal.
- 59:58Speaker 5: Because you know a lot of people would put that
- 59:59Speaker 5: right back in they would oh yeah who bums.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: You would you probably have the uh the germans fucking
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: frolicking in your bowls hell no and you go chex
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: mix right on top of the germans.
- 1:00:14Speaker 5: First of all i'm not eating chex mix out of
- 1:00:15Speaker 5: a bowl.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: This guy found the germans in a cinnamon toast crunch.
- 1:00:19Speaker 5: Do you do that? Do you put like all of
- 1:00:20Speaker 5: your snacks in like containers?
- 1:00:22Speaker 4: No. I bet you do.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: What do you mean?
- 1:00:25Speaker 4: I bet you do.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: Like, do I take the cereal out of the cereal box?
- 1:00:28Speaker 5: You're a clear container house.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: No, we don't have enough room for that.
- 1:00:31Speaker 5: Lucky charms in a clear container to make it look classy.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: I mean, we'll put them in a plastic bag to.
- 1:00:37Speaker 5: You have like writing on it that says like lucky charms.
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: You think that I'm like Kendall Jenner or something like that.
- 1:00:44Speaker 4: I wish.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: I mean, hopefully there is a time in my life
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: where I have a walk-in pantry.
- 1:00:49Speaker 4: That would be nice.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: I would kill for a walk-in pantry. And not just
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: where you can open a door and observe the front
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: of it. I want to be able to turn a corner.
- 1:00:56Speaker 5: I want to be able to close the door while
- 1:00:57Speaker 5: I'm inside.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah. That it closes behind me.
- 1:01:00Speaker 5: My cousins used to have a walk-in pantry when they
- 1:01:02Speaker 5: lived in Illinois. And they had the best snacks. And
- 1:01:05Speaker 5: I used to go in there and just close the
- 1:01:07Speaker 5: door and just have a feast.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: Just wedge a chair up underneath the doorknob.
- 1:01:14Speaker 5: They had a lot of gushers.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: What are you doing in there? Jerking off. But really,
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: you're just going to town on fruit by the foot.
- 1:01:21Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:01:22Speaker 5: It was always something like that. That's cool. They had
- 1:01:25Speaker 5: fruit by the foot, but it was like dots. They
- 1:01:27Speaker 5: were these circles.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, yeah. I know those.
- 1:01:29Speaker 5: And you would stack them on top of each other,
- 1:01:31Speaker 5: and then you get one of all of them.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: You know Halloween's on a weekend this year.
- 1:01:35Speaker 4: Is that so?
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: For like the first time in a while.
- 1:01:39Speaker 5: It's on the 31st this year.
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: All right, Rico. Get your own jokes, bro.
- 1:01:43Speaker 5: Did Rico say that?
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: He says it. Come on, bro. This is like a
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: day one Bosco bit.
- 1:01:50Speaker 4: I've never heard that from anyone and I didn't know
- 1:01:53Speaker 4: Rico did it, but it makes me laugh that Rico
- 1:01:55Speaker 4: does that.
- 1:01:55Speaker 5: Thank you. Well, did it make you laugh when I
- 1:01:56Speaker 5: did it?
- 1:01:57Speaker 4: No, because you took it from me.
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: It's nicer to know that Rico does it.
- 1:02:00Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: Are you guys going to have stuff to give out
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: on Thanksgiving?
- 1:02:06Speaker 5: On Thanksgiving? No, but Halloween I might.
- 1:02:08Speaker 4: Harry's going to give out roach skeletons.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: Yeah, you could have chocolate-covered roaches.
- 1:02:14Speaker 5: Dead roaches. I'm getting out Buckeyes.
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: I'm about to make some Buckeyes for our next show.
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: I am not going to be giving out candy this year. Why?
- 1:02:27Speaker 4: Just seeing kids be that happy with their parents makes
- 1:02:30Speaker 4: me sad.
- 1:02:32Speaker 5: What do you guys, what do you guys, do you
- 1:02:35Speaker 5: guys live in a neighborhood where people are coming to
- 1:02:38Speaker 5: your door? No shot.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: I do. I mean, people come to my floor.
- 1:02:44Speaker 5: I feel like that's so depressing.
- 1:02:49Speaker 4: Why?
- 1:02:49Speaker 5: To be a kid in New York and you're like,
- 1:02:51Speaker 5: all right, looks like we're going to hit the third
- 1:02:52Speaker 5: floor now.
- 1:02:53Speaker 4: Wait a minute. Yes, I agree.
- 1:02:55Speaker 5: You haven't been outside in two hours.
- 1:02:57Speaker 4: I agree. But, yes, but. There's two flip sides. One,
- 1:03:03Speaker 4: you can hit 150 homes in one building. Secondly, a
- 1:03:10Speaker 4: neighborhood like Brooklyn Heights has the best trick-or-treating in the world. Period. Period. Cocksucker.
- 1:03:17Speaker 4: I just don't know if I believe that. It's like
- 1:03:19Speaker 4: a 10-block radius Halloween party with the most insane decorations
- 1:03:26Speaker 4: and commitment and candy and there's thousands of people involved.
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: I walked it this morning. All these houses are minimum
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: $ 10 million. They are hiring like Hollywood and Broadway set
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: designers to do.
- 1:03:40Speaker 4: The front of their house.
- 1:03:40Speaker 5: People are really going for it this year.
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: People are going for it.
- 1:03:43Speaker 5: Like we've never seen.
- 1:03:43Speaker 4: They go for it every year.
- 1:03:45Speaker 5: No, this is different.
- 1:03:46Speaker 4: No, it's not.
- 1:03:47Speaker 5: You should see the Halloween spirit in Astoria right now.
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: You just have never lived in Astoria before.
- 1:03:53Speaker 8: What?
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: You've never lived in Astoria before.
- 1:03:55Speaker 5: What do you mean?
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: I live there right now. But you didn't know what
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: it was like last Halloween in Astoria.
- 1:04:01Speaker 4: This year in Astoria, they're really going.
- 1:04:03Speaker 5: I'm just telling you guys.
- 1:04:04Speaker 4: I've never seen it like this. This is my first
- 1:04:06Speaker 4: time living there.
- 1:04:07Speaker 5: A lot of people have those really big skeletons. Yeah.
- 1:04:09Speaker 4: Those are fun.
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: Those are dominating.
- 1:04:10Speaker 5: We should get one for the studio.
- 1:04:12Speaker 4: That'd be cool.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: Year round.
- 1:04:13Speaker 4: Get a little spooky.
- 1:04:14Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah. We won't. We won't do it.
- 1:04:16Speaker 4: Have you seen any good horror movies lately?
- 1:04:18Speaker 5: I watched The Witch. The Vitch.
- 1:04:22Speaker 4: Oh, is that the Blair Witch Project remake?
- 1:04:24Speaker 5: No.
- 1:04:24Speaker 4: They're doing a new one. They're doing one, though. Did
- 1:04:26Speaker 4: you see.
- 1:04:27Speaker 5: The Witch is the A24 one, where it takes place
- 1:04:30Speaker 5: in Salem, I think.
- 1:04:31Speaker 4: Oh, cool.
- 1:04:32Speaker 5: It's aight.
- 1:04:32Speaker 4: Did you see Hocum?
- 1:04:35Speaker 5: With Adam Scott?
- 1:04:36Speaker 4: Correct.
- 1:04:38Speaker 5: Yes, I believe.
- 1:04:39Speaker 4: Was it good?
- 1:04:40Speaker 5: I don't remember. Look at that thing.
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: Fights and Nick did a 12-foot skeleton.
- 1:04:44Speaker 5: Oh, yeah, I forgot Fights had one.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: At his apartment? That's fucking insane.
- 1:04:49Speaker 5: I mean, they are very good. Like, that's a great decoration.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: Imagine the amount of blocks you can hit. They shut
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: down Brooklyn Heights too for it.
- 1:04:56Speaker 5: Really?
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: And they play the movie Hocum on a big– they
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: like drop down a sheet, a spooky ghost sheet and
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: they project Hocum on it.
- 1:05:04Speaker 5: Every year they play Hocum?
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: Yeah, they've been doing it since I moved there this year.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: It's Adam Scott in Hocum.
- 1:05:12Speaker 5: I mean look, I would love to be someone who
- 1:05:15Speaker 5: puts out a bowl or maybe I stand there and
- 1:05:17Speaker 5: I give out treats or tricks depending on what they
- 1:05:20Speaker 5: ask for. But– No one's going to come to my door.
- 1:05:25Speaker 5: I'd be actually pretty alarmed if they did.
- 1:05:28Speaker 4: Why won't anyone come to your door?
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: Make it uninviting as possible.
- 1:05:33Speaker 5: No, I live in an apartment complex. No one's coming
- 1:05:35Speaker 5: to my door.
- 1:05:36Speaker 4: Have you gotten a message from your building saying, hey,
- 1:05:39Speaker 4: let us know if you want to be one of
- 1:05:40Speaker 4: the apartments that's eligible for... Oh, no.
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: Are there kids in your building? Yeah. So why wouldn't
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: there be trick-or-treating?
- 1:05:48Speaker 5: I think they're probably just going to go outside.
- 1:05:49Speaker 4: And do it. You know, I have to say, this
- 1:05:53Speaker 4: new building you're in is a lot more boring than
- 1:05:55Speaker 4: your last one.
- 1:05:56Speaker 5: Oh, yeah, it definitely is.
- 1:05:57Speaker 4: It seems like things are a little more, people are
- 1:05:59Speaker 4: in their own homes.
- 1:06:00Speaker 5: They are.
- 1:06:01Speaker 4: Instead of roving.
- 1:06:02Speaker 5: Yeah, there's not a lot of wandering.
- 1:06:03Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:06:03Speaker 5: There is occasionally a dude will play soccer with his
- 1:06:06Speaker 5: kid in the parking lot, which is kind of annoying.
- 1:06:09Speaker 4: Why?
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: Why is that annoying at all? How does that affect
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: you even a little? You don't drive.
- 1:06:16Speaker 5: Because it's right outside my window.
- 1:06:17Speaker 4: Huh.
- 1:06:19Speaker 5: And I don't like seeing kids happy with their parents.
- 1:06:21Speaker 5: Makes me sad. No, but it's a little irritating. It's
- 1:06:27Speaker 5: not like, you know, I'm not, I'm not emailing the
- 1:06:29Speaker 5: building about it, but like, you know, they put a
- 1:06:32Speaker 5: boot on my car. They put a boot on my car.
- 1:06:34Speaker 5: Cause I parked it there for her. My, not even
- 1:06:36Speaker 5: my car. They put a boot on Hertz car. Cause
- 1:06:38Speaker 5: I parked it there for like four hours and we
- 1:06:41Speaker 5: got kids playing soccer in the same place. So it's like,
- 1:06:44Speaker 5: are they paying for field time?
- 1:06:45Speaker 4: It's a tit for tat. Fairness-ish.
- 1:06:48Speaker 5: The way that I see it is like if you're
- 1:06:49Speaker 5: going to put a boot on my car, then no
- 1:06:51Speaker 5: one should be allowed in the parking lot unless they're
- 1:06:53Speaker 5: paying for the parking. Like, I don't know.
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: You fucking Grinch.
- 1:06:57Speaker 5: I'm a little bit of a Grinch, yeah.
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: You're very Grinch.
- 1:07:00Speaker 4: I also don't think that those are the same thing
- 1:07:02Speaker 4: at all.
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: No, they aren't.
- 1:07:05Speaker 4: It'd be one thing if that kid was parking his
- 1:07:08Speaker 4: go-kart in there and they weren't having an issue with it.
- 1:07:12Speaker 5: I really don't have any issue with it. I don't
- 1:07:14Speaker 5: even know why I said that.
- 1:07:16Speaker 4: I think you do because you raised the point and
- 1:07:19Speaker 4: were specific about it.
- 1:07:20Speaker 5: No, I was kind of just referencing it. I mean,
- 1:07:24Speaker 5: that was really the only thing I could think of
- 1:07:25Speaker 5: when I see people outside of their apartments.
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: You're just talking to the roaches, honestly.
- 1:07:30Speaker 5: I'm talking to the roaches.
- 1:07:31Speaker 4: Does Astoria have good trick-or-treating?
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: The best in the world.
- 1:07:34Speaker 4: You need stoops.
- 1:07:36Speaker 5: They say it's the best in the world.
- 1:07:37Speaker 4: That's weird. I heard that about Brooklyn Heights.
- 1:07:40Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:07:41Speaker 5: They're saying it's between Brooklyn Heights and Astoria right now.
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: Astoria has enough houses where I.
- 1:07:45Speaker 5: Feel like it's pretty nice. We don't celebrate Halloween. We
- 1:07:48Speaker 5: celebrate the Day of the Dead.
- 1:07:53Speaker 4: Get it?
- 1:07:53Speaker 5: Because there are a lot of Hispanic people in Astoria.
- 1:07:55Speaker 4: Well, you say that. I thought it was Greeks.
- 1:07:59Speaker 5: Greeks as well.
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: A lot of Egyptians as well.
- 1:08:01Speaker 5: A lot of Egyptians. Little Egypt. No, really, there's Little
- 1:08:06Speaker 5: Egypt in Astoria.
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: Someone tried to say Dumbo was a.
- 1:08:11Speaker 5: You boys wouldn't know anything about that?
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: That there's a Little Japan in Dumbo.
- 1:08:15Speaker 4: I heard that. I saw that.
- 1:08:16Speaker 5: It's probably just there's a Japanese dude that lives in Dumbo.
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 1:08:21Speaker 5: Oh, he must be in Little Japan. It's a Japanese
- 1:08:27Speaker 5: guy just walking outside.
- 1:08:30Speaker 4: Whoa.
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: My name's Craig.
- 1:08:32Speaker 5: That's so cool. I didn't know they had like a
- 1:08:33Speaker 5: little Tokyo here. That's so cool.
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: He has a New York accent.
- 1:08:39Speaker 5: I was born here. He's Korean.

- 1:09:51Speaker 4: Let's hope. They never seem to be bad, but I
- 1:09:54Speaker 4: do not know that we can stand up to you
- 1:09:57Speaker 4: guys this year.
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: No, it's impossible for the Celtics to be bad, and
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: I know that, and I've accepted it.
- 1:10:02Speaker 4: Point is, normally I wouldn't care to watch a Sixers game,

- 1:10:16Speaker 4: the crown is yours.
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: I tried to go to the.
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: The place in Dumbo that has omakase. Have you ever
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: gone there? Kinjo?
- 1:11:09Speaker 4: No, but I saw that it recommended on that same
- 1:11:12Speaker 4: video that I saw.
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: And I went there and we thought that we had
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: an omakase reservation and it was for just the bar.
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: And so we couldn't get omakase there. It was fucking devastating.
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: It was fucking brutal.
- 1:11:25Speaker 5: No big oyster?
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: I didn't get the big oyster. I didn't get anything.
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: We went to a different restaurant.
- 1:11:29Speaker 5: The big oyster haunts me. The idea of it haunts me.
- 1:11:34Speaker 4: That was the point. I'm glad it hit you so viscerally.
- 1:11:37Speaker 5: Like, it is, like, just the description of it is
- 1:11:40Speaker 5: the most disgusting thing.
- 1:11:42Speaker 4: I've ever even thought of. It was really bad.
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: It's like a cyclops.
- 1:11:46Speaker 5: Like, that's up there with rat tail. Like, it's like,
- 1:11:50Speaker 5: if you were to make me pick and you were like,
- 1:11:51Speaker 5: it's the rat tail or the big oyster. I'm going
- 1:11:54Speaker 5: to be like, that's tough. Just flip the coin.
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: How big is the rat?
- 1:11:57Speaker 4: Just kill me. Yeah. Just fucking kill me.
- 1:11:59Speaker 5: Just shoot me.
- 1:12:00Speaker 4: Just fucking kill me.
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: Was there pictures of the big oyster?
- 1:12:03Speaker 5: Can we look up the big oyster?
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: I want to see it. I want to be just
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: disgusted by this slimy cross section. I want to see
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: it cut in half. I want to see the levers
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: of it.
- 1:12:13Speaker 4: Do big oyster Japan, like omakase. Okay. I mean, that's
- 1:12:16Speaker 4: pretty similar. The one on the second one.
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 1:12:19Speaker 5: That is actually repulsive.
- 1:12:22Speaker 4: Oh, my God.
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: Look at that bottom center left one. How big that
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: booger is all the way to the left.
- 1:12:29Speaker 5: It's like, you know what it reminds me of? That's
- 1:12:31Speaker 5: what it was like. That's so fucking gross. You know
- 1:12:35Speaker 5: what it reminds me of? It reminds me of when
- 1:12:36Speaker 5: people eat like ostrich eggs.
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: But even that's just egg at the end of the day.
- 1:12:42Speaker 5: I don't want anything that's bigger than it should be.
- 1:12:45Speaker 5: You know what I mean? Like if I'm going to
- 1:12:47Speaker 5: have eggs, I want normal sized eggs. I don't want
- 1:12:50Speaker 5: one massive egg.
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: Like what's another example?
- 1:12:52Speaker 5: Because people eat this and they're like, yeah, it just
- 1:12:56Speaker 5: tastes like egg. And it's like, yeah, but it's not.
- 1:12:58Speaker 5: It's fucking ostrich egg. And it's a huge. Yeah, that's
- 1:13:03Speaker 5: like that's that's a dozen eggs right there.
- 1:13:08Speaker 4: You know, the most disgusting thing I've ever seen eaten
- 1:13:10Speaker 4: was the balut that KB ate. I think it was
- 1:13:15Speaker 4: Donnie ate it. It's like a partially cooked fetus of
- 1:13:21Speaker 4: a bird.
- 1:13:23Speaker 5: It was Donnie that ate it?
- 1:13:24Speaker 4: Donnie ate it. You open the egg and it's like
- 1:13:27Speaker 4: the animal is like on its way.
- 1:13:29Speaker 5: Yeah, that is.
- 1:13:30Speaker 4: It's not a yolk.
- 1:13:31Speaker 5: That's not.
- 1:13:31Speaker 4: It has parts.
- 1:13:32Speaker 5: That should just be illegal.
- 1:13:34Speaker 4: It's really the grossest thing.
- 1:13:36Speaker 5: Wait, what did KB eat on the yak?
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: On the hamburger dress.
- 1:13:39Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: That was one of the most disgusting things I've ever seen.
- 1:13:42Speaker 5: That was probably the most disgusting thing I've seen someone eat.
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: It was like a full sea urchin or some shit.
- 1:13:48Speaker 4: It was.
- 1:13:48Speaker 5: Oh my god. It was like... I literally can't barely...
- 1:13:53Speaker 5: I don't think I can even describe it or else
- 1:13:55Speaker 5: I'm going to start gagging.
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: It was a mollusk.
- 1:13:58Speaker 4: Oh boy.
- 1:13:59Speaker 5: It was the most... Francis, it was in a bun.
- 1:14:03Speaker 5: It was like a hamburger in a bun. And then
- 1:14:06Speaker 5: on the inside, it was just gray.
- 1:14:09Speaker 4: Oh boy, that's tough.
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: That's when he got super wet.
- 1:14:14Speaker 4: I can't believe you guys were just used to be
- 1:14:17Speaker 4: on this show. That's amazing.
- 1:14:19Speaker 5: Oh yeah, because you know, if KB's having a reaction
- 1:14:22Speaker 5: like this, it's bad.
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: Why? Was KB some professional eater?
- 1:14:27Speaker 5: No, but he's like.
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: But he ate it, bro. That's so disgusting.
- 1:14:32Speaker 5: I think he threw up.
- 1:14:37Speaker 7: That's a big ass bite oh he can't even get
- 1:14:42Speaker 7: his teeth through it oh my god pull oh my god.
- 1:14:48Speaker 4: That's really bad that's really.
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: He brought it though he brought that covering his face
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: in shame.
- 1:15:01Speaker 4: There you two are.
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: Just like a sorority girl in the walk of shame.
- 1:15:15Speaker 4: Have you seen these guys the the group of like
- 1:15:18Speaker 4: seven black friends that go to airport lounges or they're
- 1:15:22Speaker 4: in the airport gate and they do like you have
- 1:15:25Speaker 4: to go wear this shirt yeah that kills.
- 1:15:27Speaker 5: Me the those two brothers right Oh, it's like six
- 1:15:31Speaker 5: of them.
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: And they have to wear a pair of pants. Those
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: are super funny.
- 1:15:34Speaker 4: Bad shirt reveal or something, and they all come back.
- 1:15:37Speaker 4: Everyone's getting into it. The people at the gate know
- 1:15:40Speaker 4: it's them now.
- 1:15:41Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah. It is very funny. Yeah. Have you guys
- 1:15:43Speaker 5: ever seen the end zone boys?
- 1:15:47Speaker 4: The Titans? Yeah, yeah.
- 1:15:48Speaker 5: Those guys are funny as fuck.
- 1:15:50Speaker 4: I have not seen that.
- 1:15:50Speaker 5: It's just these three dudes that just sit at the
- 1:15:52Speaker 5: end zone, and they just scream at the other team.
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: And people get furious at them.
- 1:15:58Speaker 5: They say crazy shit. They talk to the dudes that
- 1:16:01Speaker 5: are just in sweatpants and they're like, you're not doing
- 1:16:04Speaker 5: shit today. I went down a rabbit hole in their
- 1:16:12Speaker 5: videos yesterday.
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: Have you guys ever seen the guy.
- 1:16:14Speaker 5: On my laptop, of course. I don't scroll anymore. It's
- 1:16:17Speaker 5: not scrolling if you're on the laptop.
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: Yeah, if you Google it, that's not a scroll. That's
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: an intentional landing point.
- 1:16:22Speaker 5: YouTube shorts on the TV.
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: The Australian guys who will eat like a garlic, like
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: a clove of garlic.
- 1:16:34Speaker 4: I love that guy on the plane.
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:16:36Speaker 4: And his eyes and nose are streaming.
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: He'll eat like a stick of ginger on a plane.
- 1:16:41Speaker 4: Yeah, ginger really looks bad.
- 1:16:43Speaker 5: Ginger is like.
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: Insane.
- 1:16:45Speaker 5: Even just like a little hint of ginger, you're like, whoa. Yeah.
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: Garlic is fucking terrible. He's just eating the onion. snot
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: coming out of his nose.
- 1:16:56Speaker 4: He always smells it first. He does this little tentative bite.
- 1:17:01Speaker 4: And the guy to his left has to be like,
- 1:17:04Speaker 4: am I seeing that right?
- 1:17:09Speaker 5: I'm with the skin on.
- 1:17:11Speaker 4: I'm not here with the skin on.
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: Imagine how painful that is. Imagine how much he smells
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: from the inside.
- 1:17:20Speaker 5: If I was ever on a flight like this, I
- 1:17:21Speaker 5: don't know what I would do. Would you complain?
- 1:17:25Speaker 4: I'd start laughing. I mean, you'd have to think it
- 1:17:29Speaker 4: was a bit. Oh my God.
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: But it's like you never, no one has spazzed on
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: him yet.
- 1:17:38Speaker 5: No.
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: It would be within your rights to spazz on someone
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: for performatively eating a clove of garlic. A full bulb
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: of garlic.
- 1:17:47Speaker 5: I feel like I almost spazzed this week on the plane.
- 1:17:50Speaker 5: I forget why. I've been flying a lot.
- 1:17:54Speaker 4: Really?
- 1:17:54Speaker 5: Yeah, just the last three weeks.
- 1:17:56Speaker 4: Man, I don't feel like I fly at all anymore.
- 1:17:58Speaker 5: I think I flew four times this week.
- 1:18:01Speaker 4: Tell us.
- 1:18:02Speaker 5: Tell.
- 1:18:03Speaker 4: Well, tell us more.
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: The prices are through the roof.
- 1:18:06Speaker 5: Through the roof.
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: The damn Earl. The Earl is so damn expensive.
- 1:18:09Speaker 5: Earl is expensive. It's more expensive than ever. They cancel
- 1:18:13Speaker 5: a lot of flights now, too. I think they do
- 1:18:16Speaker 5: it because they're not. I think if they're not like full,
- 1:18:20Speaker 5: they just cancel it.
- 1:18:21Speaker 4: Really?
- 1:18:21Speaker 5: Because it's so expensive to fly.
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: Yeah, my mom's flight back from London got banged. Really?
- 1:18:25Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:18:26Speaker 5: Was it not full?
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: I'm not sure, but they didn't even tell her.
- 1:18:29Speaker 5: I had a flight that was later in the night.
- 1:18:32Speaker 5: This was over a month ago. But it was a
- 1:18:35Speaker 5: 10 p.m. flight out of LaGuardia or something. And I
- 1:18:40Speaker 5: checked in, and I looked at the seat chart, and
- 1:18:43Speaker 5: there were so many open seats. And I was like,
- 1:18:44Speaker 5: this is definitely going to get canceled.
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: And then it got canceled.
- 1:18:47Speaker 4: You called it.
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: You're the you're the plane whisperer now.
- 1:18:50Speaker 5: That's what I do.
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: If anything's about to happen on a flight, you can
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: call it.
- 1:18:53Speaker 5: That's what I do. We just, uh, we just announced
- 1:18:56Speaker 5: our roster for Bush for the upcoming season. The game
- 1:18:59Speaker 5: comes out next week and then we're just.
- 1:19:01Speaker 4: Right back to it. When you mean, Oh, the new
- 1:19:03Speaker 4: call of duty, new call of duty. And it's always
- 1:19:05Speaker 4: going to, you always have to play the most recent one.
- 1:19:07Speaker 5: Unfortunately.
- 1:19:08Speaker 4: Hmm.
- 1:19:09Speaker 5: Because they use it to promote the game.
- 1:19:12Speaker 4: Who does?
- 1:19:13Speaker 5: Activision. Like hypothetically, so this game that's coming out right now,
- 1:19:18Speaker 5: I hated it because the beta comes out and you
- 1:19:21Speaker 5: can play it for like two days and then they
- 1:19:23Speaker 5: bring it back and they work on it more and
- 1:19:25Speaker 5: then it comes out, the full game comes out. I
- 1:19:27Speaker 5: hated the beta and a lot of people hated it.
- 1:19:30Speaker 5: And a lot of people were like tweeting, like, why
- 1:19:32Speaker 5: don't we just replay another season of Black Ops 7,
- 1:19:35Speaker 5: which was the last game from last year.
- 1:19:37Speaker 4: It was really good.
- 1:19:38Speaker 5: And it was it wasn't really good, but it was good.
- 1:19:40Speaker 5: And it was like they could change the gun meta
- 1:19:43Speaker 5: and add new maps and stuff and just make it
- 1:19:44Speaker 5: like a new feel.
- 1:19:45Speaker 4: Right. Of course.
- 1:19:46Speaker 5: But apparently, no, it's just completely it's not even like
- 1:19:49Speaker 5: up for debate.
- 1:19:51Speaker 4: Is there a consensus best Call of Duty game ever?
- 1:19:57Speaker 5: I would say most people would say Black Ops 2
- 1:19:59Speaker 5: or Modern Warfare 2.
- 1:20:01Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:20:02Speaker 5: You probably played those.
- 1:20:03Speaker 4: Well, I've just heard Black Ops 2 a lot.
- 1:20:06Speaker 5: You probably, did you ever play like COD 4?
- 1:20:08Speaker 4: No. No?
- 1:20:09Speaker 5: Because that came out right around when Halo came out,
- 1:20:11Speaker 5: Halo 3.
- 1:20:13Speaker 4: I didn't. I was just, I needed to be in space.
- 1:20:15Speaker 5: You were just a Halo guy.
- 1:20:17Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:20:17Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:20:18Speaker 5: They're apparently, so the company that makes Call of Duty Activision,
- 1:20:21Speaker 5: apparently they bought the rights to Halo, so they're going
- 1:20:24Speaker 5: to make the next Halo.
- 1:20:25Speaker 4: Whoa.
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: Whoa.
- 1:20:26Speaker 4: Yeah. I dig that.
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: In the Elizabeth Holmes movie, there's this like really tender
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: sequence of the movie where the parents are spending the
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: last days with their daughter before she goes to prison.
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: And they know that they're not going to be able
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: to have any access to her for like quite some time.
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: And now I'm kind of feeling like that, like as
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: the call of duty season is about to start with
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: you where it's like, Oh, he's good. He's going to
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: be gone.
- 1:20:51Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:20:51Speaker 5: He's gone.
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: He basically has like a, eight month sentence, like training
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: camp is coming to an end.
- 1:20:57Speaker 5: And, uh, it'll be pretty, we're, we're really not traveling
- 1:21:00Speaker 5: a lot this year. Um, cause it's, uh, almost all
- 1:21:04Speaker 5: the tournaments are overseas and we're not going to them.
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: No budget. Who's running the budget this year.
- 1:21:11Speaker 5: It's just like, like we could, like, it doesn't, it
- 1:21:14Speaker 5: just doesn't make sense. It's not even like, we didn't
- 1:21:16Speaker 5: even ask. It's not even like a budget thing. It's like,
- 1:21:19Speaker 5: we could spend a ridiculous amount of money and all
- 1:21:22Speaker 5: go to like Paris, uh, But then the problem is,
- 1:21:24Speaker 5: is like once you're in Paris with the time zones,
- 1:21:27Speaker 5: we're going to be going live at like 3 a.m.
- 1:21:30Speaker 5: in America. So it's like no one's going to be
- 1:21:33Speaker 5: watching that regardless. So why spend all the money and
- 1:21:36Speaker 5: go out there? You know what I mean?
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: With the riots.
- 1:21:39Speaker 5: And with the riots.
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: The riots and everything.
- 1:21:41Speaker 5: Kind of an issue because one of the tournaments was
- 1:21:42Speaker 5: supposed to be in Riyadh and then they had to
- 1:21:44Speaker 5: move it because of the war to Paris, which now
- 1:21:49Speaker 5: can't get a win.
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: Yeah, with the Saints game and everything.
- 1:21:51Speaker 5: They have to move it somewhere else.
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: Yeah, Birmingham.
- 1:21:54Speaker 4: Yeah. Alabama.
- 1:21:55Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:21:55Speaker 4: South Sudan.
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: The Myanmar local tournament.
- 1:22:01Speaker 4: Mogadishu, Call of Duty.
- 1:22:03Speaker 5: I am pretty excited for it to start up again, though.
- 1:22:05Speaker 5: I've just had too much free time. I've been like,
- 1:22:08Speaker 5: I need something.
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: You've been scrolling and watching football.
- 1:22:13Speaker 5: I haven't been scrolling, but I have been watching football.
- 1:22:17Speaker 4: All right. Yeah.
- 1:22:21Speaker 5: I know usually when we get to the bush talk,
- 1:22:22Speaker 5: that means the episode's winding down.
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: All right.
- 1:22:29Speaker 5: We will see you guys next week. We will be
- 1:22:33Speaker 5: live streaming all weekend from all of our YouTubes and
- 1:22:37Speaker 5: Twitch accounts of just us playing the new game and
- 1:22:39Speaker 5: watching some tournaments and stuff. So if you have any
- 1:22:42Speaker 5: interest in that, that'll be happening Friday, Saturday. Other than that,
- 1:22:47Speaker 5: anything else, fellas?
- 1:22:48Speaker 4: Nope. All right.
- 1:22:49Speaker 5: We will see you guys next week.
- 1:22:51Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 1:22:51Speaker 5: Goodbye.
