An outsiders look on stakeholder management in the Netherlands

On their first day of working in the Netherlands both Tom Paton and Mark Miles were baffled by the fact that a fulltime position of stakeholdermanager even existed. A week later, they fully understood why. The Netherlands is very densely populated, so a lot of interests come together when you start to work. Furthermore, the people are very well informed and inquisitive. There is a big culture on planning in the Netherlands.
