- 0:01Hello folks, this is Princess. You are listening to the
- 0:04Millennial Mustard Seed podcast. Thanks for listening.
- 0:07Don't forget to share with your friends.
- 0:11That's tough. We're in a very tough spot.
- 0:13I think that what we're doing right now is a great benefit and
- 0:17virtue because it's an end around between this whole
- 0:21corrupt informational system, media system.
- 0:25We claim to believe in a God who spoke the universe into
- 0:28existence and literally raised himself from the dead, and yet
- 0:33we are not going to believe that anything else exists in the
- 0:36spirit realm, even though his word tells us that they do.
- 0:40Their bodies weren't permitted to go to sleep like humans do,
- 0:44and they weren't permitted to go to heaven, so they wander the
- 0:47earth. You know, I've seen the eyes
- 0:50turn black to unknown tongues being spoken.
- 0:55These giants would live way up in the Highland.
- 0:57The young Braves, the young men would hide up in the.
- 1:00Trees and wait for. One of these 12 footers to come.
- 1:03Walking down the path. And they would jump on them and
- 1:05kill them, drag them back to. The village and the village
- 1:08would feast on the body freedom. Then people start to get
- 1:16weapons, they start to get armor.
- 1:17They start to build cities. They start to fortify their
- 1:19cities. Now God looks down and there's
- 1:22violence everywhere. The battle, this war that we are
- 1:26at, is not against each other. It's against these
- 1:29principalities and these rulers and these archons in the high
- 1:31places. It's really worthwhile to read
- 1:34the Bible. Yourself fear is one of the
- 1:37primary drivers of mind control because we have to take every
- 1:41thought captive and resist fear. You're going to have a testimony
- 1:49that is a justice case against the Kingdom of darkness.
- 2:20The welcome back to the MMSI am your part time host, Rod Smith,
- 2:28also producer and creator of the Millennial Mustard Seed.
- 2:32And this is a banger round table episode with Basil Rosewater
- 2:37from Canary Cry Radio and Canary Cry News Talk.
- 2:40And I'm also joined by my Co host on this episode, Aaron
- 2:43Christian Davis. This is a wild conversation.
- 2:47It's over 2 hours long. We get the Basil rants like we
- 2:50love. Me and Aaron go off on the deep
- 2:53end with some topics and just literally have a blast on this
- 2:56one. Basil gives us a flippy update,
- 3:00which we all love. And we introduce for the first
- 3:03time ever, a flipper update. Yeah, we talk about dolphins and
- 3:09an experience that me and Aaron had in North Carolina at the
- 3:11beginning of this year, as well as some of the supernatural
- 3:15things that dolphins are capable of doing and why it's illegal to
- 3:18watch the birth of a dolphin all of a sudden.
- 3:21And there's so much more than just that.
- 3:24We get into the word literal. Do we take the scriptural
- 3:27literally? I believe that we should take it
- 3:30literally until it cannot be taken literally.
- 3:32And then we start looking at the parabolic nature or metaphors
- 3:36or, you know, the archetypes, the whole.
- 3:39There's 200 different formats of speech in the Bible.
- 3:41Each one of them is important. But honestly, God means what he
- 3:45says and he says what he means. Sometimes he hides that meaning.
- 3:49And it's the duty of those of us with the, the longing desire to
- 3:53seek it out. So this hangout time with Basil
- 3:57and with Aaron is a really fascinating, relaxing
- 4:01conversation. To be honest with you.
- 4:02I, I just highly encourage you guys to stick around for the
- 4:06amazing episode set before you. And there's much more content to
- 4:10come. Basil is going to become a bit
- 4:12of a regular and I don't mean that on a weekly basis, but we
- 4:16have some plans in the work right now that are pretty
- 4:19fascinating. Now, Gonz is a little bit harder
- 4:21to get locked in, but you should be expecting to hear from the
- 4:25one and only Gonz Shamira in the near future here on the MMS as
- 4:29well. And let me do some maintenance
- 4:31here real quick. You guys like share and
- 4:33subscribe. You can find details in the show
- 4:35notes how to support us. You can plant a seed in time of
- 4:39need, pray for us, donate, help this ministry to grow.
- 4:44My goal is to be completely ad free at some point in time, but
- 4:47we're not close to that right now.
- 4:48So I really need you guys to step up.
- 4:50There's the link for the continual 999 a month.
- 4:54Your way of saying I believe in what you're doing.
- 4:56Rod, Aaron, Carly, the the growing team.
- 4:59I'm going to help you guys keep the lights on.
- 5:01You can also find a link to my book.
- 5:03The words are salt. Now I talk about on this episode
- 5:06with Basil about how much I'm encouraging my listeners to go
- 5:10leave Canary cry news talk and Canary Cry Radio A5 star rating
- 5:15and review and to write into them on Apple podcast.
- 5:18Whatever catcher you're listening on, if you have the
- 5:20capabilities, write them a message.
- 5:22Tell them I love what you guys are doing.
- 5:24You guys are O GS in this space, right?
- 5:27And not only that, but we you maybe you found them through
- 5:31this broadcast. So mention the MMS and this is
- 5:35kind of my way of saying if all of us came together and we
- 5:38started looking out for each other and saying leave my boy
- 5:41over here rating a review, it does help boost that algorithm.
- 5:44It takes the whole entire network of like minded
- 5:47individuals up higher. So not only am I asking that for
- 5:50myself, if you guys have not left me that rating review, do
- 5:53so and also leave it for Canary Cry Radio and Canary Cry News
- 5:58Talk. Last but not least, I play my
- 6:02newest song called See Me Through on the end of this
- 6:05episode and I really hope you guys enjoy it.
- 6:11I think it's about time to jump into this episode.
- 6:14I'm ready. Are you guys ready?
- 6:16Let's go, let's go. You're listening to the
- 6:33Millennial Mustard Seed podcast and Razzle Dazzle.
- 6:36I'm your best buddy, Basil. Eternal best buddy Basil, it is
- 6:44an honor to have you back here on the MMS and I'm joined by my
- 6:48Co host, Aaron Christian Davis. Aaron, what is going on,
- 6:51brother? I just want to say it's an honor
- 6:54to have Basil back. Where really, really looking
- 6:58forward to the Basil rants. You know, I know that you guys
- 7:01love it, but I I certainly do. And I just want to say to the
- 7:04listeners, whatever information is exchanged, you are not crazy.
- 7:11You're not alone, and if the end of the world is tomorrow, you
- 7:14need to be listening to Basil today.
- 7:17It's a good thing to remind people.
- 7:18I mean, honestly, I only started telling people that they weren't
- 7:22crazy at the beginning of every show or really in the last year
- 7:25or so. And I know for me, look, I think
- 7:30sometimes I maybe care a little bit too much about the
- 7:33experience of the listener. And depending on the listener,
- 7:36they might really disagree with me as far as that goes.
- 7:40But it's not often enough in sort of fringy circles, or even
- 7:46really circles of believers who have a certain set of interests
- 7:50will say that people are reminding them, encouraging them
- 7:56that just because they're not fitting into what everybody else
- 7:59is talking about or what everybody else cares about.
- 8:02There's the implicit all around us, from church, from society,
- 8:06from our normie friends, whatever the implication is
- 8:10always you're crazy. Even if it's sort of tolerant,
- 8:15even if it's sort of like, OK, this sure, let's talk about the
- 8:19government or whatever the implication is, you are crazy.
- 8:23So it's just good to be reminded once in a while, even if once or
- 8:26twice a week, you know, your best buddy can remind you that
- 8:30you are indeed not crazy, no matter what they say.
- 8:34And you can know it's true because it's coming from a guy
- 8:37with giant googly eyes shouting on the Internet.
- 8:41It's 100% true. So I was looking and there
- 8:46there's this blind study that takes place and then there's all
- 8:51all of this attempt, right, that I was reading about with the
- 8:56agencies or, you know, the deep state, whatever you want to call
- 8:59it right there that are literally trying to find a way
- 9:04to get people out of what they're calling the conspiracy
- 9:07dwellings, right? So I'll read this here real
- 9:09quick. As we've heard time and time
- 9:11again, conspiracies are the devil to untangle from people's
- 9:14identities and what they want to believe about the world.
- 9:18Anyone trying to contest them is seen as part of the deep state
- 9:22cover up. Many invent interventions have
- 9:27been tried over the decades offering counter arguments or
- 9:30priming participants to engage in analytical thinking.
- 9:34But in 2023, there was 5 studies that found the most powerful
- 9:40methods for changing a conspiracy theorist belief don't
- 9:44work. This year.
- 9:46However, in 2025, two studies conducted by psychologists at
- 9:51MIT and Cornell University suggest that artificial
- 9:54intelligence presents sufficient counter factual evidence that
- 9:59believers are more apt to change their minds.
- 10:02The first study publishes that 1000 participants in this
- 10:06research program found that they've reduced their beliefs in
- 10:10a chosen conspiracy on average by 20% after conversing with
- 10:15ChatGPT 4 Turbo, a large language model built by open AI.
- 10:20And So what you're saying is like, it's the body's duty to
- 10:24literally inculcate to be the tip of the spear, right?
- 10:27Like especially in fivefold ministry, like each person has
- 10:30this gift according to God's design and we have one mind.
- 10:34But here's the one mind of AI working overtime to try to get
- 10:39people to think that they are crazy.
- 10:41So it's, it's awesome that you start out saying that because I
- 10:45mean, little vulnerability on my end.
- 10:47I don't go through this like frequently, but there's times
- 10:50over the years that I'm like, I'm not believing the wrong
- 10:54thing, Not like about my belief in God, but like some of the
- 10:56content. Oh yeah.
- 10:58I publicly said I don't agree with everything I've heard on my
- 11:00show. Like I had to make some choices
- 11:02about how I was digesting material and it was a very
- 11:05personal, like internal thing. I don't know what your guys
- 11:08thoughts are on that but. No, totally.
- 11:10This is great. Sorry to jump in, Aaron.
- 11:12I, of course want to. The reason I get excited is
- 11:15because I was doing a show I started doing sort of more of a
- 11:18community show every week called Canary Cry Clubhouse where we
- 11:22don't do a lot of news, we don't do a lot.
- 11:23We don't get really crazy. We do check out, you know, a
- 11:27little mini documentary from Guns, but it's mostly a call in
- 11:30sort of fellowship show. I invite anybody to come check
- 11:33it out on Thursdays. And there was a moment in
- 11:43yesterday's show where one of the callers, you know, actually
- 11:47a great caller, calls in all the time.
- 11:49He's a, you know, a long time supporter of the show.
- 11:53He came in and he mentioned, you know, that there's some people
- 11:57in this, you know, some people in the space, some podcaster,
- 12:00some stuff who more or less have kind of gone a little bit out of
- 12:03left field. And you know, he's finding it
- 12:07harder and harder to kind of stay engaged with that those
- 12:11people's work or or their you get the point, The show, the
- 12:16community, whatever. And while that is a classic tale
- 12:21and I do empathize with anybody, I, I think had an opportunity as
- 12:27someone who is on the other side of the camera of a show a few
- 12:33times a week here because there is a lot there can be.
- 12:38And honestly, it comes mostly from people communicating with
- 12:41us. You know, there's a lot of
- 12:42pressure to, let's say there's a lot of responsibility.
- 12:48There's a lot of responsibility to, I guess, be responsible with
- 12:55the things we explore, the things we talk about.
- 12:59At the same time, for me, I give a lot of grace to people, not
- 13:06even just podcasters or shows or whatever, Anybody who is
- 13:10publicly sifting through information and not just
- 13:14presenting information that is available.
- 13:17I mean, back to the study you're talking about.
- 13:19First of all, I challenge their premise that conspiracies are a
- 13:24part of somebody's identity. We know the word conspiracy is
- 13:28sort of wielded as a weapon in this case.
- 13:30You know, a group of people conspiring is not part of my
- 13:34identity. So come on now.
- 13:37AI, of course, having a special ability to There was just a a
- 13:42bit of a ruckus lately where a group from Zurich University
- 13:47secretly used AI bots on a Reddit, whatever forum called
- 13:54change my mind. And they, you know, the AI would
- 13:58pretend to be somebody related to a top that can go in and
- 14:01change people's minds. And they did find.
- 14:03Now keep in mind Reddit is a self selecting group of people,
- 14:09mostly on the liberal side. They make a pretty make it a
- 14:13habit to kick out anybody who doesn't, you know, kind of align
- 14:16with the narrative that's being communicated there.
- 14:20Even on the change my mind thread, you know, the, the
- 14:22change my mind stuff is really on, you know, you're on
- 14:25anybody's only changing their minds on like approved topics
- 14:29basically. But the AI, they go in there and
- 14:32they had some crazy number. I mean, I think it was something
- 14:35like 28% success rate over the normal success rate at changing
- 14:41minds. So AI very good at changing
- 14:44minds. You pair this with the 2012
- 14:47hullabaloo about Facebook, who secretly ran experiments on
- 14:51almost a million people to focus on changing their emotions by
- 14:57only feeding them negative or positive content.
- 14:59This is a very old, you know, 10 year old study, but you know,
- 15:03this is an illegal experimentation on people who
- 15:05didn't know that it was going on.
- 15:07Now you match those things and you pretty much have to remember
- 15:13and remind yourself and when you wake up in the morning, when you
- 15:16say your prayers, to let God remind you that anything at all
- 15:23being fed to you by an algorithm is part of sort of this social
- 15:28control mechanism to keep everybody at least grouped tight
- 15:33enough, either intellectually. But a lot of times they don't
- 15:38even care about the details. It's not really about the data,
- 15:40it's about emotionally. So it's sort of this emotional
- 15:44hurting mechanism. Now, the problem with, I'll use
- 15:51their phrase, people who are aware of certain conspiracy
- 15:57theories is it's not the intellectual part.
- 16:02It's not the intellectual part of what they know or what they
- 16:05don't know. Because, you know, we're just
- 16:08regular people. We're peons.
- 16:09Like we don't have any power to change anything.
- 16:12We don't really have any power to put anybody in jail.
- 16:15If by some miracle you know enough people band together and
- 16:19expose A conspiracy theory wide enough that something is
- 16:23actually done, nobody, nobody is ever going to get punished for
- 16:26anything. So they really don't actually
- 16:28care about the information. What they do care about is the
- 16:31emotional hurting of the herd to keep everybody generally within
- 16:38a, you know, a, a pin, if you will, you know, a certain
- 16:44pasture of of emotion and it's somewhere oscillating on the
- 16:49range of, you know, total depravity and hopelessness and
- 16:53you know, ecstasy and utopia. They and they move it around and
- 16:57they can move it around at will. And so when we're particularly
- 17:01online seeing things, whether it's just posts, whether it's,
- 17:06you know, whether it's, it's various creators, you know, long
- 17:10form is a little bit outside of this mechanism, which is why I
- 17:14think long form will always save the day.
- 17:17But at least on short form, you know, you, you quite literally
- 17:21are just being sort of emotionally and yet and
- 17:24therefore spiritually herded around.
- 17:27And much like a sheep who's in a herd being moved around by the
- 17:31Cowboys or whatever, they don't really know or even realize that
- 17:35they're moving in a direction, you know, they're just hanging
- 17:37out responding to the sheep next to them.
- 17:41If if their friends are spooked, they get spooked.
- 17:44They don't even know why. If they stop in graze, they just
- 17:47stop in graze. They couldn't could be the worst
- 17:50place to stop in graze. So, and this is something we
- 17:53generally all know on an intellectual basis, but more
- 17:58than anything, instead of controlling the emotions of all
- 18:02of us, for those who are mindful and skeptical of the prevailing
- 18:11narrative that is being fed to us by the algorithm, it also has
- 18:16a very negative effect of constantly putting you in a
- 18:20position where you need to question your own thoughts, your
- 18:26own emotions. You know gas rings that gas
- 18:29lighting right? Exactly puts you form of gas
- 18:31lighting. Puts you in a position where
- 18:33you're constantly doubting yourself, you know, doubting
- 18:37your your thoughts, doubting your emotions, things like that.
- 18:41And you know, that can be more than anything exhausting.
- 18:45And I think that's the biggest threat to people who are trying
- 18:49to stay engaged, trying to stay clear eyed and trying to, you
- 18:54know, have some spiritual or emotional autonomy in their
- 18:58lives. The threat isn't, you know,
- 19:02being too negative or being too positive.
- 19:04The threat is getting exhausted. And so for people who either
- 19:10make it a, a hobby or a pattern or profession, even to on air,
- 19:19whether it's live or recorded or whatever, not just take in
- 19:23information, not just give information, but at its best,
- 19:29synthesizing information, taking in the information, sifting
- 19:34through it and putting it together to lead to, if not new,
- 19:40you know, if not new information or new models or new narratives,
- 19:46at least refining the, you know, the most helpful models,
- 19:51narratives, things like that. And so it is an exhausting job.
- 19:55The questioning of your own beliefs and feelings is not the
- 20:00negative part necessarily, but it's the exhaustion from that
- 20:04that. That that can really get to you
- 20:08and it gets to a lot of people, I mean, especially those who do
- 20:11long form and do it quite regularly.
- 20:13As you know, it's very impressive basically to anybody
- 20:16who's doing podcast to make it past 50 episodes, because that
- 20:20means you've gone a year and you're probably, you know, not
- 20:23very happy or very satisfied with viewership or whatever.
- 20:27It's just kind of part of the game.
- 20:29And so when I was speaking on yesterday's Canary Cried
- 20:33Clubhouse and saying, you know, I really got a lot of, got a lot
- 20:37of grace and I got a lot of empathy.
- 20:39Many people, I mean, people there, there's people who have
- 20:43been with us for going on 13 years now, over a decade.
- 20:48There's children who have come of age, even been born, you
- 20:54know, growing up engaging with our our conversations and
- 20:59goodness gracious, have a lot of people gotten frustrated if I go
- 21:03too out of left field on something?
- 21:06But the prayer is that we have the freedom and we have the
- 21:11grace to work through all sorts of new developing information on
- 21:17a daily basis, whether it's current events, you know,
- 21:20scripture, you know, the the personal experience kind of
- 21:26colliding with the experiences of others and trying to do it in
- 21:30a way that is faithful and, you know, keeps the most important
- 21:34stuff, the most important stuff. But it is that it is the very
- 21:40instinct to question the way you're feeling, the way you're
- 21:44thinking, and where you've landed that is the most
- 21:48important part of what you're doing.
- 21:50Both for stamina to continue to be able to do it without getting
- 21:53totally exhausted and going with the herd.
- 21:57And also, you know, for those who are primarily consumers of
- 22:02that kind of display. I guess I, I don't like calling
- 22:07it content, but you know what I mean, That kind of relationship,
- 22:11that conversational relationship, it's a very
- 22:14important skill for them as well for the listeners and just any
- 22:19individuals because the point is to make you feel crazy.
- 22:23The point is to make you question everything and not
- 22:26trust yourself. But there is a special stamina
- 22:30and a special confidence, especially if you are centering
- 22:36your your sort of journey around the truth of Christ and the the
- 22:42sort of stable ship that is, I would in, I think in our case,
- 22:47Christian tradition, but also the Bible itself as the word of
- 22:51God. I can't imagine doing anything
- 22:54like this without that sort of foundation.
- 22:58And most of all, I mean, if not at least most of all, the fact
- 23:03that redemption, correction, revelation, all these sorts of
- 23:10things are built into a believer's life gives them them
- 23:15an incredible shield against what we see happening.
- 23:19You know, if you want to get political on the left or cancel
- 23:22culture or whatever, these types of things, it gives a particular
- 23:26resilience to somebody who has sort of built their house on the
- 23:30rock in that way. So I, I encourage myself and I
- 23:34encourage others, you know, somebody can go pretty far out
- 23:38of left field and make their way back and course correct and you
- 23:45know, or synthesize a new reason why that information or whatever
- 23:52is, is helpful. But I do understand and I've,
- 23:55I've seen it happen to some of my favorite people too that go
- 23:59far out of left field and then they just keep going.
- 24:01They're not even in the ballpark anymore.
- 24:05And you know, there comes a time there comes a time where staying
- 24:09as centered as possible on home base is pretty important for
- 24:13everybody. There's I can't believe I just
- 24:16jumped right into a rant immediately on the first
- 24:18question. Sorry about that.
- 24:21That didn't take long for the listeners.
- 24:24This is exactly what we teased, and you got it right from the.
- 24:27Beginning SO. Praise God for.
- 24:29That. We got it out of Mezzle
- 24:31immediately. Got a reputation?
- 24:34No, we love it. We absolutely love it.
- 24:36I know I definitely do. There's so many things from like
- 24:39our previous interview that I've taken and I've been intentional
- 24:42about moving your feet to being one of them.
- 24:46So that was one of my favorite Basil rants.
- 24:48But I, I think what you're referring to at the beginning of
- 24:52that rant was, you know, there's this term shills, you know, so
- 24:56like, we obviously like operate on the Internet, right?
- 24:59And there's like, you know, controlled opposition and, you
- 25:03know, I'll probably get accused of it.
- 25:05Rod will probably get accused of it.
- 25:06I'm sure you guys have been accused of it, getting things
- 25:09wrong. Credibility, right?
- 25:11I think I know this situation that you're referring to.
- 25:14And you know what, like, I think it's so important that like we
- 25:18just remain faithful and continue to build that
- 25:22fellowship together and not let all the distractions of the
- 25:26world because like we are literally just presented so much
- 25:30mass messaging on a daily basis. I mean, like the the news feed
- 25:34never stops, Does it? I mean, like people forget about
- 25:37Hurricane Helene. We had a conversation what, 678
- 25:41months ago, you know, about that.
- 25:43Does anybody talk about it anymore?
- 25:45No, it's move on to the next topic, right?
- 25:48So having that, that foundation and like being able to shift
- 25:51through the information with a biblical lens, right?
- 25:54Because the Bible also says that there comes a point where we
- 25:58cannot trust our own eyes. So we are led by the Holy
- 26:01Spirit, right? Right.
- 26:02So there's certain power in certain terms.
- 26:06And like we obviously live in a time where everybody's super
- 26:09paranoid and skeptical. Like that person's a shill, that
- 26:12person's a plant, you know, like that person, like what is real,
- 26:17right? Who's who?
- 26:18Who do we trust? Well, I, I can tell you this,
- 26:21what you can always trust is the word of God, right?
- 26:25So pray on it, discern it, surround yourself with people
- 26:30that are like minded. You know, it doesn't matter if
- 26:33you're left or right, You know, like we can disagree.
- 26:35We all disagree. As Rod would say, we all have a
- 26:38little something, right? And we all have a something a
- 26:40little, a little something wrong, right?
- 26:43And like when you combine forces and you come together, you know,
- 26:46what are those? What, what am I thinking of the
- 26:50circles, that Venn diagram, right?
- 26:52You got 1, you got one. And then you meet in the middle
- 26:56and then you kind of correct each other, right, right.
- 26:58Let's go back to like the original standard.
- 27:00Let's do that. Let's have humility.
- 27:03Rod, what do you think? I just went on a rant.
- 27:06Yeah, but it was a mini rant and.
- 27:09And it was just so much came out with both of you.
- 27:12And like what what I love about listening to other men of God
- 27:16speak is especially in the freedom of the flow is, you
- 27:20know, AI has its algorithms and its trigger words and its
- 27:23intention, but the Holy Spirit has an intention.
- 27:27And when we make ourselves subject to the way that he moves
- 27:29in and through us, as the Bible says, you're sharpening, you're
- 27:32you're bearing each other's burdens and so fulfilling the
- 27:34law and and you're also, you know, sparking each other to the
- 27:38jealousy of a good work. So as I'm listening to both of
- 27:40you talk, what I really start to think about is this is the mind
- 27:45of Christ starting to come into the momentum of I see you, I
- 27:50love you. I I understand what you've done
- 27:52right? Not only do I want to recognize
- 27:54you for that, but I want to build alongside of you and I
- 27:57want what you're extrapolating from these ideas and topics and
- 28:01processing through the Holy Spirit.
- 28:02I want to be in In Sync with that.
- 28:04I want to harmonize with this movement with what God is is
- 28:07echoing from heaven and like all the attacks are there like in
- 28:11the early days, the show notes for me were come.
- 28:15Let's take a journey through 1,000,000 messages and signals
- 28:17that cause confusion and chaos, right?
- 28:19Let's walk this thing out together.
- 28:21And it's always been the, the scriptural basis that like
- 28:24multiple times in episode, I have no issues with bouncing out
- 28:27of the, the, the rabbit row or the rhythm and going right back
- 28:30into scripture because whenever the spirit gives me something,
- 28:33I'm like, man, this is important.
- 28:35Doctor Chuck Missler, the late Doctor Chuck Missler used to
- 28:37say, you know, if it's weird, if it's, if it, if it seems like
- 28:41something else is going on there, it's important like keep,
- 28:43keep layering it. And so man, I love these round
- 28:47tables or conversations really where we're at right now on this
- 28:52episode. And I do want to say, you know,
- 28:54I had a couple ideas that I wanted to do for the month of
- 28:57May. Hopefully this episode airs and
- 29:00you guys are hearing this in the month of May, But I was calling
- 29:03it like, you know, support your, your fellow podcast through five
- 29:08star rating. And I know I, I did a call
- 29:11recently, we had 16 written reviews and ratings come through
- 29:15Apple podcasts in like 2 weeks. And I'm like, man, I'm humbled.
- 29:17Like if you ask, maybe you'll receive it, right?
- 29:20So I'm literally making a, a call right now for all the
- 29:24people in the MMS to go and leave a five star rating review
- 29:28on Canary Cry Radio and Canary Cry News Talk.
- 29:31And not only that, I want you guys to write in, right?
- 29:34I want you to write something in there 'cause you're putting a
- 29:36stamp of approval. Like here is this, you know,
- 29:39kind of gait when people find this content as Christianity
- 29:42starts to swell and there's a bunch of shills everywhere, you
- 29:46know, drop a line, right? I think Basil, what's funny is
- 29:49like a couple years ago, I actually commented or left you
- 29:54guys a review and said, Hey, this is Rod from MMS.
- 29:58You and Gonz are like, oh, geez. In my in my mind, like you guys
- 30:02helped me through so much and you responded to that.
- 30:06And, and that's actually my first line of communication with
- 30:10you. But the reason I wanted to do
- 30:12this in the month of May is because, you know, really, I
- 30:14think that the new year starts in, in April.
- 30:17I'm not going to get into qualifying those details right
- 30:19now in this conversation, but you know, we're coming into this
- 30:22birthing season where things are changing, right?
- 30:24And we have so many seasons we're allotted here on this
- 30:27earth. And I was looking at it going,
- 30:29man, if I want to love people, I don't only want to do it, you
- 30:32know, secretly or just publicly. I want to have other people
- 30:36recognize that love too. I want that ripple effect to go
- 30:38out and create that standard of man, you know what, let's show,
- 30:43let's show these guys some love. So I mean, Basil, I'm going to
- 30:46pass it back to you just with like the idea of whatever Aaron
- 30:49said and I said, and then I do have some questions.
- 30:52I think it would be cool if we shot each other some questions
- 30:54being this is kind of more of a conversation based episode.
- 30:58Sounds like a fun time. Yeah.
- 30:59Thank you so much for, you know, making that call out for ratings
- 31:03and reviews. It's kind of funny.
- 31:04Ratings and reviews are a little bit of like an old school relic
- 31:08of early Internet and early, you know, podcasts and content.
- 31:12A lot of people don't think about doing ratings and reviews.
- 31:15And with our experience, if you don't ask, it doesn't happen.
- 31:19You got to ask people to do it. They can be the biggest fan in
- 31:23the world and most of them are not going to naturally do that.
- 31:26But just to confirm what you're saying, it actually helps a ton.
- 31:30It's a huge deal, not just for algos and AI and, you know, sort
- 31:35of navigating the machine that unfortunately we're sort of
- 31:38forced to to deal with. But also, you got to remember, I
- 31:43mean, real people read those reviews.
- 31:46And your review could independently on its own be
- 31:51responsible for somebody saying, OK, even if they're not a, you
- 31:56know, like, yay, let's go do that.
- 31:59Because if they want to listen to the show, they'll listen to
- 32:00the show. But you could independently be
- 32:03responsible for someone who is seeking for someone who is
- 32:06hurting, for someone who is looking for a community, someone
- 32:11out there who wants who, who wants to be told, who needs to
- 32:14be told that they're not crazy. And your individual review could
- 32:19be the one especially, you know, because if, if you're new and
- 32:22you write a new review, it goes to the top of the list.
- 32:24It's the first one that people are going to read when they're
- 32:27going through looking at shows. I mean, you could independently,
- 32:31personally be responsible for like changing somebody's life
- 32:35and letting them know that they're not crazy and that
- 32:37they're not alone and that there's other people, you know,
- 32:40who are thinking about similar things.
- 32:42I mean, it's, it's one of those things that, you know, is a
- 32:45little bit too big sometimes to think about.
- 32:50But in a world that is so noisy and has so many influences, ads,
- 32:57corporate interests, government propaganda, everything, every
- 33:00moment of our day is packed with someone trying to communicate
- 33:05something to us, It's kind of hard to imagine that just
- 33:09leaving a rating in a review would have any effect.
- 33:11But you know, we've, as I'm sure you have, we've had people say,
- 33:15my gosh, you guys saved my life or I gave my life to Christ.
- 33:18And the extension of that is I wouldn't have found your show if
- 33:22that one person didn't leave a review that was super
- 33:25meaningful. So thank you for that.
- 33:27I encourage everybody who watches or listens to this just
- 33:31to know that on our side of the camera here, getting those
- 33:33ratings and reviews super important on sort of a broad
- 33:36eternal scale. But also, I mean, we read
- 33:39everyone and it's nice and makes us feel good.
- 33:42So that's also good to refer back to some of the things what
- 33:47kept repeating in my mind for what you were both saying is
- 33:53going back to that word synthesis because information
- 33:57repetition is one thing and there's is not inherently bad,
- 34:02but synthesis happens in community.
- 34:05Synthesis happens in multiplicity.
- 34:08You know, synthesis. Not to get too woo woo on it,
- 34:10but I mean, we have a triune God.
- 34:12We have a Godhead who is synthesized in three independent
- 34:19personal but entirely united parts.
- 34:23And speaking as someone who started their career in
- 34:28podcasting, doing interviews, primarily meaning synthesizing
- 34:33information with other people coming on the show to then in,
- 34:37you know, about 2020 primarily doing shows without guests, but
- 34:45looking for synthesis in other ways, you know, Kinnear crying
- 34:48news talk. Of course, we we do the news.
- 34:52And it just happens to be because it is to my vocation
- 34:55when I meet somebody in real life and they realize, Oh my
- 34:58gosh, you know, way more about what's going on in the world
- 35:01than I do. Where do you get your news?
- 35:04They say, and I say, well, not from cable television.
- 35:07And they'll say, well, I watch CNN, but I also watch Fox, so I
- 35:13get all the different viewpoints.
- 35:15I'm like, yeah. And they, they, they show
- 35:20literal exhaustion when they ask where do you get your news?
- 35:24And they say, you know, I read about 80 articles a week from
- 35:29all different things primarily, you know, I would say about 50%
- 35:35comes from the mainstream news. The other 50% comes from the,
- 35:39the various alternative and, and you know, micro sources all the
- 35:43way down to individual citizen reporter, stuff like that.
- 35:47And it, it hurts the brain of someone who, and I don't I love
- 35:54my boomers. I love them.
- 35:56I would not be anywhere without the boomers in my life.
- 35:58And the boomers that, you know, support my work.
- 36:01I love them. But it is a particular
- 36:03characteristic of the Boomer generation who came from a world
- 36:08where not only could the news be trusted a little bit more, but
- 36:14there's just no other option. And so it's still very much this
- 36:19worldview of like, if it's not on TV, then it isn't true.
- 36:23But if I watch Fox and CNN, then I know everything there is to
- 36:27know, of course, without without the knowledge that they're
- 36:31controlled by the same people and you know, under the same
- 36:35corporate interests and etcetera, etcetera.
- 36:38You realize that that's there's really no difference in in
- 36:42getting it from Fox or CNN without the exception of
- 36:46entertainment value. They all have just different
- 36:49entertainment values, almost different kinds of humor.
- 36:54And I use humor sort of metaphorically there where to
- 36:58really start building an an understanding of the world that
- 37:03at the very least isn't in direct control of a singular
- 37:08establishment. It's a matter of going as far
- 37:13and wide. It doesn't obviously mean that
- 37:15you believe everything you read. And there's no, there's never
- 37:18one article that gives you the full truth.
- 37:22But once you get, you know, four or five articles in on a
- 37:26particular current event, then you're able to synthesize
- 37:33something approximating a useful true objective telling of the
- 37:37story, just even simply from what isn't what is omitted in
- 37:44certain outlets. You know, sometimes the lies
- 37:48don't happen in outright lies. A lot of times they do.
- 37:51But other times the lies happen in omission or anonymous sources
- 37:57or blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. So in the same way, that's just
- 38:00a personal example of mine to say in the same way, that is how
- 38:05synthesis is so important when it comes to everything and
- 38:08especially in our walk in the context of fellowship with other
- 38:15believers, prayer with other believers, A countless number of
- 38:20inputs from, you know, people you trust, people you know are
- 38:24good actors, people who you're LED believe, you know, have the
- 38:28right interests in mind. Those who are really after what
- 38:32God wants, God's truth. And you get enough of those
- 38:35coming in and interacting with each other because again, go
- 38:38back to the Trinity. It's not that God the Father,
- 38:41God the Son and the Holy Spirit exist as separate entities
- 38:461,000,000 miles away and don't talk to each other.
- 38:49You know, the the beauty and the mystery of the Trinity is that
- 38:56they're in connection. They are synthesizing with each
- 38:59other all the time. I don't do anything unless the
- 39:01Father tells me to, you know, that sort of thing.
- 39:05This Holy Spirit coming in as a helper.
- 39:07It's this, this synthesizing for, for our puny little human
- 39:12brains, which are beautiful and amazing.
- 39:16You know, it's, it's goes down to the very cellular way that
- 39:19our brain works. Our brain isn't one big block of
- 39:22knowledge. It is a web of neurons that are
- 39:26firing in sort of an endlessly mysterious and infinitely
- 39:30complex ways. You know, when you, when you,
- 39:33when I say the word synthesis, it includes neurons that are
- 39:38firing from, you know, 8th grade biology class.
- 39:42Well, why would 8th grade biology class?
- 39:44You know what I mean? It's this sort of endlessly
- 39:47mysterious infinite collection of different data points playing
- 39:52together to synthesize any individual thought.
- 39:57And what I love about what you're doing at MMS is that
- 40:01exact thing bringing in. Such a wide arrangement of
- 40:10people and perspectives at the same time, it's really not about
- 40:15to any individual, it's really not about taking the word of any
- 40:20one of the individual people. You know here, people watching
- 40:22this with three of us. It's not really about, well,
- 40:25Basil said this, so that's great.
- 40:27It's oh, well, Basil responded to Rod, and then Rod was
- 40:31piggybacking off of Erin, which led back to Basil getting
- 40:34obsessed with the word synthesis.
- 40:36And Oh my gosh, it changed my life, you know, and that's,
- 40:39that's how it all should, should work.
- 40:41Which is directly opposite of how the adversary has our
- 40:45timelines set up. Our timelines are set up to feed
- 40:50US1 version of the narrative, whatever version that is they're
- 40:54using to control us. And you'll notice that there's
- 40:58not a ton of opportunity for synthesis of disparate
- 41:02information because we've been told, hey, if you hear this
- 41:06factor, this idea enough times, that must be true.
- 41:10So our timelines feed us the same message over and over and
- 41:13over and over just to keep banging at home.
- 41:18So, you know, this is really, I mean, the way God intended it is
- 41:22to have, well, you might even call it a fellowship of people
- 41:28coming in with their ideas. That was so good.
- 41:32That was so good. I forgot if you asked a
- 41:34question. What you.
- 41:38I think level up, level up, level up, right?
- 41:40It's like, I think it would be like super cool just the way
- 41:44that this is going. If we ask each other questions,
- 41:46OK, and and because we we're ripping on each other and going
- 41:51in the direction where we're eventually going to need to be
- 41:54like, what's your take and and how do we get to that next?
- 41:58You know, hammering in the idea to get to the next synthesis,
- 42:02right. Plug in the next topic with
- 42:03that, whatever the spirit gives us in the trajectory.
- 42:08Man, Basil, you're saying so much that's that's important and
- 42:11valuable to this over overview of all of it.
- 42:15You know, I did a, a couple, I'm on the days of Noah Bacchia.
- 42:18Shout out to Pete and Luke over there quite often.
- 42:21We're we're constant collaborators and we did a
- 42:25deconstruction and a reconstruction of like modern
- 42:28Christianity. And it's, it's this idea of the
- 42:33ecclesia, right? The word for church, the
- 42:35ecclesia, however you want to pronounce it.
- 42:37Like when we get together, there's autocorrect features in
- 42:41synthesizing information right, because if I'm coming like way
- 42:45too aggressively and strong like no, aliens are real and aliens
- 42:49are not biblical characters. The Bible is fraud.
- 42:52If you start to even shift into those like highlighted or or you
- 42:56know your overtones are more in agreement with not the word of
- 43:00God and and what your mind is doing with what God told you and
- 43:03it's not stored up in your art, but you're starting to go
- 43:05astray. An autocorrect feature in the
- 43:08group of people that have their heart and their mind pinned on
- 43:10Christ. Easy to identify.
- 43:13Like we do home church, we do meetups, like, you know, we're
- 43:16doing God and guns together. Aaron was up just a couple weeks
- 43:18ago for that here in PA. Like we're doing stuff.
- 43:21And and I'm not saying that that gets contested in that group,
- 43:24but if an outsider came in slinging some crazy information
- 43:28like we're fellowshipping in the spirit in deep places where like
- 43:33right away we'd be like, yo, like something's off, like test
- 43:38the spirit is kind of what I'm getting at here.
- 43:40And so I think it's fascinating that we're being birthed into
- 43:45the very concept of God's original design through the
- 43:49means of what was created to destroy us.
- 43:52Right? This, this never ending media,
- 43:54this never ending algorithm, this TikTok brain, this, you
- 43:57know, they say, Oh, you got ADD and and it's like I've been told
- 44:01my whole life how that's been highlighted as a boundary for me
- 44:04that I can't step over or things that I can't do because of that.
- 44:07But I've seen God work in the midst of what they call an
- 44:11ailment to actually supersede and take me into places where
- 44:14the Kingdom is now opening up the narrow Rd. for me to stay
- 44:17on. And I'm like, my God, here we
- 44:19are, we've arrived, right? Like God, you are on the throne
- 44:22and you're doing only what it is you can do.
- 44:24Because the systematic desensitization, how they tried
- 44:27to shut me down and label me and then program me, it's failing.
- 44:31And it's failing predominantly in settings where I'm with other
- 44:36people who understand this, critique it, applaud it, correct
- 44:41it, all of that fun stuff, right?
- 44:42Remind sharp and encourage it. So I mean, that's my I don't
- 44:46want that's my rant, right? Let's start questioning each
- 44:51other like let's let's cross question some ideas here about
- 44:54what where this is all taking us conversation wise and so much
- 45:00more. Yeah, yeah.
- 45:01I mean, I'd love that. The Holy Spirit is a great auto
- 45:04correct for sure. And the fact that the Holy
- 45:07Spirit is moving in, you know, every conversation and every
- 45:12believer in his present, you know, it's kind of like Clippy.
- 45:15Everybody's got Clippy automatically installed on
- 45:18their, on their whatever it's called Word, Microsoft Word or
- 45:22whatever the yeah, the auto correct feature.
- 45:27It's funny, I think about it that way.
- 45:29I hadn't, I hadn't thought about it that way, but it both of
- 45:33those things you're talking about are true.
- 45:34One thing that I find honestly, I mean just really irritating.
- 45:39Most things I can try to find lots of words, but usually the
- 45:43word is just irritated when it goes back to, you know, the, the
- 45:48conspiracy believers, the identity of the conspiracy
- 45:52theorists. You know, it's usually presented
- 45:56as in like they're a hive mind to one of them will tell a lie
- 46:00and then they all believe the lie.
- 46:02It's so creepy. It's like, bro, you don't know
- 46:05what you're talking about. The the weirdo community is
- 46:09constantly auto correcting each other, constantly calling each
- 46:13other shells, constantly trying to, you know, filter each other
- 46:18out. And while it could be a negative
- 46:20experience and, you know, not very fun sometimes, that indeed
- 46:24add to the exhaustion. It's certainly better than a
- 46:28mainstream, you know, news outlet competing with their
- 46:33enemy mainstream news outlet. And yet they're both reporting
- 46:37the same lie for the same reasons.
- 46:39You know that the funniest thing to watch now is the the
- 46:43mainstream media's obsession with we were lied to about Joe
- 46:48Biden's sharpness. We were lied to about this Jake
- 46:52Tapper writing a whole book when, you know, they were the
- 46:54ones saying he's sharper than attack.
- 46:56I saw him personally. I talked to him.
- 46:58He's great. He's great.
- 47:00And now they're all coming out being like, oh, we were
- 47:03deceived. You know why you were deceived?
- 47:07Just because you don't have the Holy Spirit coming in and
- 47:09telling you to, you know, tell the truth and you're just
- 47:13following the new God, the state.
- 47:17But yeah, especially when it comes to believers, it is a very
- 47:23special. And I think whatever is
- 47:25happening in the world has made it this way a little bit more.
- 47:29I'd say if you go 5-10 years back, the the enmity behind or
- 47:37the enmity in some relationships between various Christians
- 47:42online, you know, having different beliefs about the
- 47:45tribulation post Trib, pre rap, blah, blah, blah.
- 47:48The whole thing, you know, that used to really split up
- 47:52believers in the space. And while it's still a
- 47:56disagreement that exists, what I'm finding is that it is
- 47:59splitting up the body much less lately.
- 48:03Not that it doesn't happen. And maybe it's just in my, you
- 48:06know, in my circles or my experience, but there's some
- 48:11movement. I mean, there's many movements
- 48:13going on that that is, no, it seems like that piece of
- 48:17sabotage from the adversary is no longer as effective as it
- 48:22once was. And I think, you know, the Holy
- 48:24Spirit has a lot to do with that.
- 48:26Absolutely. I'm actually a walking testament
- 48:30of that. I've been listening to Canary
- 48:32Cry News Talk and Canary Cry Radio for for years, probably
- 48:37about four or five years. And then that led me to actually
- 48:41listen to Rod with Millennial Mustard Seed probably about 2
- 48:441/2 years ago. And it's funny that you just
- 48:48mentioned that. The reason why I'm even here
- 48:52right now, talking to the people that I'd listen to even today,
- 48:58that's where I get my news. Literally I wrote an e-mail to
- 49:03Rod just asking about a previous episode that he had on that very
- 49:07topic, Basil, you know, which was like, you know, pre
- 49:10tribulation, mid Trib post Trib theology, right?
- 49:14And like how, you know, all these ideologies clash and like,
- 49:19people used to fight about it. But I mean, it was obviously,
- 49:23you know, such a topic that like, it's really hard to e-mail
- 49:26that. So he actually gave me his
- 49:27number. And then like, now we're like
- 49:30best friends. I got my best buddy Basil.
- 49:32I got my best buddy Rod. But there is a scripture that
- 49:37actually I was led to as you guys were speaking.
- 49:41It's Proverbs 1320, and I can attest to this as well.
- 49:46And it says whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the
- 49:51companion of fools will suffer harm.
- 49:54So we live in a world where obviously there's a difference
- 49:57between mainstream media, you know, alternative media and
- 50:01independent media. Basil, you know, you guys over
- 50:03Canary Cry have touched on this quite a bit.
- 50:07And I think it's super important to like, you know, surround
- 50:10yourself with the right people and the right information and
- 50:14not just trusting in Basil or, you know, guns or Rod or Aaron
- 50:19or anybody, but like really taking that time to turning
- 50:25towards the word and asking and praying, you know, for
- 50:30discernment because the Holy Spirit will give you that.
- 50:33I mean, I've been LED in certain ways.
- 50:35I've Rod, I've gotten things wrong.
- 50:37I've gotten things right. I've been down, down deep rabbit
- 50:41trails right where it led me to kind of like this, you know,
- 50:46this movement that we've seen on the right.
- 50:49You know, I'm not really going to give it any power or
- 50:51authority or anything like that. But, you know, we'll just kind
- 50:54of trust in the Holy Spirit. But I just want to say that
- 50:59like, you know, certain things take time, be intentional, you
- 51:04know, surround yourself with the right people.
- 51:06Surround yourself with the word, dive into the word.
- 51:09You know, don't you're not going to get truth in 30 seconds.
- 51:13It's not going to happen, You know, and like, that's the age
- 51:15that we live in. You know, Basil himself says he,
- 51:20he, he reads 80 news articles a week.
- 51:23That's a lot. I mean, I, I would challenge any
- 51:25of the listeners. I mean, how many articles do you
- 51:27actually read through, you know, different sources and doing that
- 51:31compare and contrast, you know, that Venn diagram like, OK,
- 51:35let's meet somewhere in the middle, right?
- 51:39Totally. Oh, absolutely.
- 51:40I mean, that's, that's the whole thing.
- 51:42You know, I love what you're saying about surrounding
- 51:45yourself with the right people. And you know, it's funny because
- 51:47in my life as well, it's, it's a little bit, I mean, we all kind
- 51:51of need to ask our question. Like how do we know who's the
- 51:54right people? Because we can, you know, we can
- 51:57set up, you know, our pros and cons list or put together, you
- 52:02know, a checklist of what the, the characteristics of the kind
- 52:06of people we want to surround ourselves with.
- 52:08And that is great and recommend everybody do that.
- 52:11You know, sometimes, you know, sometimes you don't know.
- 52:14Now we all know that sometimes people don't end up being who we
- 52:19thought they were or delivering on characteristics they had LED
- 52:22us to believe where part of their deal or simply people just
- 52:27change, you know, things change like that.
- 52:29And that again is where the fellowship comes in.
- 52:31The the auto correct is in the data points.
- 52:36You know, let's say you got 10 friends or 10 people you're
- 52:40fellowshipping with. If one of them's, you know,
- 52:45snake in the grass, it might be hard to tell.
- 52:48It often is hard to tell with our direct relationship with
- 52:52snakes in the grass. You know, we can find all sorts
- 52:56of reasons to, you know, do things like give them grace or
- 53:01or simply just not pay attention to the red flags, etcetera,
- 53:04etcetera. But the autocorrect again comes
- 53:07in the fellowship comes in the synthesis where you have other
- 53:11people around you who can, you know, again, there's always a
- 53:16fine line between gossip and blah, blah, blah.
- 53:20You know that the bad ways that this can reveal itself, but
- 53:26often times the snakes in the grass are the gossips, you know,
- 53:29are the dividers, things like that.
- 53:32But yeah, this again, really this concept of surrounding
- 53:38yourself but seeking out, prioritizing fellowship and
- 53:42synthesis with others. And right there, built into the
- 53:45mechanism is this like fail safe, auto correct thing in all
- 53:51sorts of different ways. And again, yeah, like I'll say
- 53:54all all day, all all day, all long.
- 53:56What when it comes to get in the news, you know, you spread it
- 54:01out, you get it from every like literally everywhere, not just
- 54:04different cable news channels when you are, you know, I mean,
- 54:08one big thing, even down to culture war issues.
- 54:11And I don't want to take it too far away from faith, but I'll,
- 54:15I'll wrap it back around. But because culture war issues
- 54:18are such a big part of online life for people, especially
- 54:21people who make a habit of listening to podcasts and
- 54:25watching shows and stuff like that, it it's almost you can't
- 54:28escape from the culture war things.
- 54:31And that that's one of the really dangerous categories
- 54:38where if you're really just paying attention to one person,
- 54:42one influencer, 1 podcaster, 1 teacher, whatever, you're really
- 54:48just getting a direct download of their their ideas about a
- 54:54culture war. And you got to remember that's
- 54:57maybe the most dangerous, as far as I don't know, the most
- 55:04dangerous when it comes to, well, I'll say this, the
- 55:07algorithms, they latch on to your culture war influences
- 55:11right away. And they will feed you that till
- 55:14the cows come home. And by the time you notice that
- 55:17that's all you're seeing, it's too late.
- 55:19You know, there's, and I mean specifically culture war stuff,
- 55:22not necessarily like fact based stuff, you know, currently facts
- 55:27of a current event or something, but you know, how to treat
- 55:31people, how to think about people.
- 55:33And boy, oh boy, if your culture war diet is not chock a block
- 55:38full of loving, gracious, merciful believers, you're going
- 55:44to get weaponized immediately. You turn into a total tool of
- 55:48the culture war and it's dangerous.
- 55:50You know, it's a really, it's something that again, I go back
- 55:53every day. Every time I open my phone, I
- 55:56go, OK, let's see what the, you know, mind control system has me
- 56:04going down today. And just being aware of it is a
- 56:07huge thing, but also seeking out various sources.
- 56:11I like we keep saying, but also seeking out various sorts of
- 56:15fellowship, you know, and if, if a bad apple gets in there, you
- 56:21just got to trust A, the Holy Spirit is going to be speaking
- 56:25to you about it. And B, you know, the Holy Spirit
- 56:28might use others in your, in your fellowship.
- 56:31It's more important than ever because like you said, the world
- 56:34is changing drastically. We are we things are moving so
- 56:39fast. And this is kind of cliche to
- 56:40say, especially seeing as the last 10 years have felt like
- 56:43this, but right now we have reached some sort of peak frenzy
- 56:49where things are moving so fast. Are are we are on purpose.
- 56:54We're living in a system that is designed to keep our feet from
- 56:59being friendly, planted in anything.
- 57:02And the only way we're going to make it to next year.
- 57:05And I'm, you know, I'm serious. I tell people like I'm literally
- 57:08saying in the next 6 months, there's going to be a shift in
- 57:11the world. You know, at the very, let's say
- 57:15at least in 365 days, the world is going to look entirely
- 57:19different. And if you're not firmly rooted
- 57:22and not rooted with others who are rooted around you, like a
- 57:26Grove of trees, you know, it's not just the roots going in the
- 57:30ground that protects the the tree from the storm, but it's
- 57:34the roots of all the trees coming together, growing
- 57:37together and holding on tight so that not even a, you know, a
- 57:44hurricane can come blast them out.
- 57:47Am I supposed to think of a question now for you guys?
- 57:50That's probably what I should have been thinking about the
- 57:52whole time. We're doing great.
- 57:56I actually would like to introduce a new segment, an old
- 57:59segment and a new segment. So Basil, before you think of
- 58:04another question, I would love for you to provide a flippy
- 58:09update. And then following that, I would
- 58:12love Rod to provide the very first flipper update.
- 58:18Flipper. Flipper.
- 58:21That sounds fun. You know, I always love.
- 58:23I don't know if it's actually about robots.
- 58:26Is it? Oh, this is about dolphins,
- 58:28isn't it? Is that the Flipper update?
- 58:30OK, I am. What am I doing?
- 58:35I am very casually and naturally opening up my document here.
- 58:43We'll see if the Internet. Oh.
- 58:47Oh. What?
- 58:48You got something going on there?
- 58:49Did my audio cut out? Can you guys hear me?
- 58:52Come on Internet, we prayed over you.
- 58:53Oh, there we go. Oh gosh.
- 58:59We hear you. OK, it's it is getting a little
- 59:02laggy over here. Listeners of Canary Cry will be
- 59:06intimately aware that there are certain web pages that if I open
- 59:10them, it just collapses the whole system over here.
- 59:14So I'm probably going to lag for just a moment.
- 59:17Totally get well I'll fill in for about 30 seconds the how
- 59:21epic the flippy updates have been like over the years.
- 59:26Like I was in the factory twenty 18/19/2021 all the way to like
- 59:3123 almost. And I was in pretty interesting
- 59:36role, but I was able to have like 1 earbud in.
- 59:38And I like when I look back, a lot of a lot of the stuff I
- 59:43remember old content wise because Basel guns have so much
- 59:47is these flippy updates and you know, the innocence of flipping
- 59:52a burger now to you know, these stationary devices taking over
- 59:56the world and flirting with our women.
- 59:58I mean, it's just like it's the floor to line up.
- 1:00:01I love it. Yeah.
- 1:00:03You know, I mean, that is, it's one of those things we actually
- 1:00:09now, I haven't had a lot of a lot of people complain about
- 1:00:12this, so I took that as a sign. But we haven't been doing flippy
- 1:00:18updates on every show like we used to.
- 1:00:22And part of that is the breadth of news about robots.
- 1:00:28First of all, it turns out the flippy update did its job, which
- 1:00:32is people are pretty familiar now with just how truly close we
- 1:00:40are to the full on, you know, robot takeover and not just
- 1:00:44taking over the world, but taking over our jobs, flirting
- 1:00:47with our spouses and, you know, indoctrinating our children.
- 1:00:52It's almost like it, you know, the flippy update kind of lost
- 1:00:55its its novelty, but at the same time, you know, it's gone more
- 1:01:02mainstream than ever. And of course, a good example of
- 1:01:05this is Elon's optimist robots. You know, optimist, the kind of,
- 1:01:11I mean, in true Elon fashion, you know, it's sleek, it's sexy.
- 1:01:16It's like that's, that's what people wanted the robots to be.
- 1:01:19Some of these robots, they're really goofy looking, but he's
- 1:01:23got his all figured out. It's he claims that they'll be
- 1:01:27rolling out 100,000 of them by the end of this year, which, you
- 1:01:31know, he almost never keeps his timing promises, but well, it
- 1:01:36still means it's close. And when it comes to the, the
- 1:01:42various parts of the flippy update intro, you know, they're
- 1:01:45going to be taking our jobs. Well, this is obvious.
- 1:01:47Everybody's on this flirting with our spouses.
- 1:01:50I mean, the amount of times that we have reported on specifically
- 1:01:55robots taking the role, not of just like companion for the
- 1:01:59elderly, but of romantic companion.
- 1:02:02And we recently had Elon gave an optimist robot to Kim
- 1:02:07Kardashian, who, you know, whatever you think of Kim
- 1:02:10Kardashian, her role as sort of a high priestess of secular
- 1:02:15culture is sort of a sex symbol. That's her whole thing.
- 1:02:19And she had a whole campaign of, you know, social media posts.
- 1:02:25I'm sure that she and Elon had some deal worked out where she
- 1:02:29basically was dating the robot. Like, not even in a funny way.
- 1:02:34Like, they were like serious cuddling and going places
- 1:02:38together and really showing this, you know, companionship
- 1:02:44that robots can do now. And, you know, again, it's
- 1:02:48different if it's in someone, you know, an elderly person or a
- 1:02:53disabled person who has a robot who's helping them.
- 1:02:56This is always the distinction that we try to make, to be just
- 1:03:00to be realistic about technology and not be total Luddites.
- 1:03:04But given the fact that her role in society is sort of this high
- 1:03:08priestess sex symbol implicitly was not only normalizing but
- 1:03:14encouraging this romantic void that can be filled in people's
- 1:03:22lives by robots. You know, the roboticist will
- 1:03:25say, well, we got to solve a problem.
- 1:03:28You know, robots need to solve a problem.
- 1:03:30We can't just do robots for nothing.
- 1:03:31They need to solve a problem. The problem that this particular
- 1:03:35campaign is advertising with Kim Kardashian is the problem of
- 1:03:41modern dating culture, hookup culture, Internet no app, Tinder
- 1:03:46culture. It's left.
- 1:03:47You know, we're seeing Gen. Z turn towards the right as a
- 1:03:51generation turns traditional, finding God again in numbers
- 1:03:55that nobody alive has ever seen. There's not a person alive who
- 1:04:00has been who has ever seen a movement of a generation towards
- 1:04:05conservatism or traditionalism. Like we are watching Gen.
- 1:04:09Z now and all the, the mainstream media has all sorts
- 1:04:13of reasons for this, because of COVID, because of cell phones,
- 1:04:16because of whatever. And the fact of the matter is
- 1:04:19that there's a void. They have a void in their life
- 1:04:23between the way that dating culture and and, you know,
- 1:04:27mental illness factors into it. And of course, social justice
- 1:04:32and culture war issues has created such an empty space in
- 1:04:38young people's lives that they are in record numbers turning to
- 1:04:42robots for not just like sexual conversations or whatever they
- 1:04:48do with the chat bot, but with actual romantic relationships,
- 1:04:53finding caring, you know, a caring partner that doesn't
- 1:04:57blah, blah, blah. You know, you know, you guys
- 1:04:59know romantic relationships, right?
- 1:05:01You understand, I don't need to explain that to anybody.
- 1:05:05And so back to the optimist robot of being positioned as
- 1:05:09this coming out in the hundreds of thousands at least claimed by
- 1:05:13Elon in the next 6 months. I'll even just give him a year.
- 1:05:19And the, you know, the the destruction of humans trying to
- 1:05:26fix their own problems through technology is as old as time
- 1:05:32itself, which is kind of part of the fun of watching the cycle
- 1:05:37play out again from the Tower of Babel up all the way up until
- 1:05:41now, you know, humans solving physical, technical problems.
- 1:05:46You know, agriculture, various pieces of Labor, improving
- 1:05:53quality of life and and experience as a physical human
- 1:05:57being is one thing, but it's different.
- 1:06:01Much like the Tower of Babel where technology is developed
- 1:06:04to, to solve an eternal, a spiritual problem, a a problem
- 1:06:12that was, you know, caused by separation from God and his sort
- 1:06:19of statutes. In the same way, there is a
- 1:06:21void, especially in Gen. Z right now, that they are
- 1:06:24seeking out that once again, the technologists via these robots
- 1:06:29are not just trying to solve a labor problem, you know, that's
- 1:06:33something that's its own problem, but to solve these deep
- 1:06:36rooted spiritual eternal problems using their technology.
- 1:06:41I'll just say we all better get ready to learn a different
- 1:06:45language because the things are going to get rowdy really quick,
- 1:06:51Boo. So like CERN would be one of
- 1:06:54those, right? So I'm just going to say I will
- 1:06:57publicly announce that I discern a dad joke for you and I
- 1:07:03discern. But yeah, no, it's just like
- 1:07:07there was an episode, Basil, where you and Gans did a flippy
- 1:07:12update where there was like a like a marathon, right?
- 1:07:16And you guys said something very profound to where like, you guys
- 1:07:19are over the target, right? And like, I think the world is
- 1:07:22catching up to the threat that, you know, the robots taking our
- 1:07:26jobs, flirting with our wives, you know, taking our jobs, like
- 1:07:30flirting with our spouses. They lost, right?
- 1:07:34So. So humans overcame robotics,
- 1:07:38right? So there's nothing to worry
- 1:07:39about anymore, right? Right.
- 1:07:42Don't worry anymore. Yeah, we talk about behind the
- 1:07:45scenes all the time and even on air that everything that it like
- 1:07:49technology being revealed has probably been in place for
- 1:07:51probably 40 to 50 years at minimum.
- 1:07:54So what they're reviewing or true, true choosing to reveal,
- 1:07:58you know, nothing to see here. Don't worry, right?
- 1:08:04So what? Were you guys and not not only
- 1:08:07nothing to see here, but you know, this is our destiny.
- 1:08:11You know, this is it's all wrapped up in sort of the
- 1:08:13transhumanism, the ascension of man too.
- 1:08:17When you're talking about CERN, you know, they're like, oh,
- 1:08:20we're going to try to find another particle or whatever.
- 1:08:23And, you know, they can use this sort of technical lingo to
- 1:08:27explain their experiment, but they themselves, especially at
- 1:08:31CERN, have overlaid their work with ritual, with spiritual
- 1:08:37importance, with ascension of humanity to look through space
- 1:08:42and time and understand the very fabric of reality.
- 1:08:47You know, it's the sort of this height of hubris which, look,
- 1:08:50I'm not even totally against, you know, scientific discovery,
- 1:08:54That's fine. But when we start, you know,
- 1:08:57making a religion out of it and try to solve sort of spiritual
- 1:09:02eternal problems with temporal human technology, I mean, it's
- 1:09:08just a lesson we haven't learned yet.
- 1:09:11Yeah, it's wild. It's absolutely wild.
- 1:09:16So you're going to tell us about the dolphins?
- 1:09:18I want the flipper update bro. Well, I don't even know what to
- 1:09:23do. I'm like throw it on the spot
- 1:09:25flipper update I guess would be the I mean I'm looking at all of
- 1:09:29it as you guys can see I'm sharing my screen here, but one
- 1:09:32of the things that I found to be really provocative is that they
- 1:09:36made it illegal to witness the birth of dolphins.
- 1:09:40That happened recently and I'm like, and this came up like
- 1:09:45super organically, if I may say it that way, because when I was
- 1:09:50in North Carolina with Aaron, the beginning of this year, we
- 1:09:54had this crazy supernatural encounter.
- 1:09:57I consider it to be supernatural encounter with dolphins.
- 1:10:00And I've always loved dolphins. Like I love orcas, which are the
- 1:10:03biggest dolphin really anyway. And then, but I've never thought
- 1:10:06about it, you know, like I did that cloud episode, like looking
- 1:10:10at how many times clouds come up in the Bible and what the Bible
- 1:10:13says about it. And and that like I got so many
- 1:10:16emails and people just been like, I've never thought about
- 1:10:18clouds like that before my life. Like what is going on?
- 1:10:20That happened to me with dolphins recently.
- 1:10:22I'm like, there's like a whole world of stuff that's like so
- 1:10:27weird. I'm trying to wrap my head
- 1:10:27around we're doing it in real time.
- 1:10:29So what was this? Supernatural experience you had.
- 1:10:33Well, Aaron, actually. Dolphins, this is.
- 1:10:35Yeah, dude. Oh my gosh.
- 1:10:38So all right, let me let me pass it to Aaron to set the stage for
- 1:10:41it. If you want me to chime in,
- 1:10:43Aaron answer Basil's question. One question, you said that it
- 1:10:48just became illegal to witness a dolphin birth.
- 1:10:51I just learned, and I'm wondering if you guys heard
- 1:10:54this, that it's illegal to try to talk to dolphins.
- 1:11:01All right, we're getting sent to the list now.
- 1:11:05Leave scooting along, gentlemen. Communicate with dolphins.
- 1:11:08All right, Eric. This is crazy.
- 1:11:10Just crazy. OK, so like I, I moved down to
- 1:11:12North Carolina back in 2021, right?
- 1:11:14And I remember I got so excited just being from Ohio, I jumped
- 1:11:17off my boat when I saw a pod of dolphins.
- 1:11:19And then Coast Guard came up and they said it's illegal to swim
- 1:11:22with dolphins. I'm like, what?
- 1:11:24They give me a warning. Rod came and visited me.
- 1:11:27We did kind of a working fellowship, and I took him to my
- 1:11:30favorite place. I told him, you know, it's where
- 1:11:33I find Serenity. It's a little island off the
- 1:11:36coast of North Carolina called Serenity Point.
- 1:11:39And we went there and we were intentional.
- 1:11:42We grounded ourselves. That's not New Age, by the way,
- 1:11:46just for the listeners out there.
- 1:11:48Meaning you took your shoes off. Correct.
- 1:11:51Yeah, we had our feet in the sand and the.
- 1:11:54Feet were all over the sand down there, yes.
- 1:11:58And we went to this little point and we were intentional.
- 1:12:04We, we built this big cross out of sand.
- 1:12:07And then we got down on our hands and knees.
- 1:12:08We prayed together. And then Rod looked at me and he
- 1:12:11said, on the count of three, we're, we're, we're both going
- 1:12:14to scream at the top of our lungs, the mighty name of Jesus.
- 1:12:19So we did. He counted down 123, count it
- 1:12:22up, I should say. And we screamed Jesus.
- 1:12:26And almost instantaneously there was a pot of dolphins that
- 1:12:30literally beached themselves right next to us in this little
- 1:12:35cut out. And they just sat there and they
- 1:12:37stared at us and they revealed their flippers.
- 1:12:40They stayed there. They were not feeding.
- 1:12:42They were not doing anything. It was almost like confirmation
- 1:12:44with God's creation coming into confirmation with the
- 1:12:48proclamation of Jesus. Rod.
- 1:12:50I'll pass it back to you, brother.
- 1:12:52Oh my God, that's crazy. Were they in trouble?
- 1:12:54They they beat themselves on purpose, just hanging out.
- 1:12:57Yeah, like 7 feet from where the waves were crashing is my
- 1:13:01estimate, possibly closer and further at different times
- 1:13:05during this experience. But I want to, I want to even
- 1:13:08back up a little bit because the everything's multi layered,
- 1:13:11multi layered effect, the multi layered reality, right?
- 1:13:15Right before this, we're walking Serenity Point.
- 1:13:19And I'm like, Aaron, did something happen here?
- 1:13:24I I can't turn that part of myself on.
- 1:13:27Like, Rod is just the weird Rod he is wherever he goes.
- 1:13:31But sometimes the weirdness levels up, right?
- 1:13:34And so I'm feeling like something's off.
- 1:13:36And I'm like, dude, did something happen here?
- 1:13:38And he's like, yeah, they built this using the sandbar equipment
- 1:13:43because so many people were getting sucked out into the
- 1:13:46ocean at like high tide, low tide.
- 1:13:49And you have the calm Bay on the inside and the intercoastal,
- 1:13:53right, the ocean literally on the other side.
- 1:13:56And so they built this like tip on Serenity Point, like kind of
- 1:14:00enlarged it, if you will. So the the the tip was man made.
- 1:14:05They created a sound, basically, yeah, a safe swimming area.
- 1:14:08A safe swimming area, Yeah, because people were getting
- 1:14:11sucked out. And he's like, yeah, 10 people
- 1:14:13have died in the last three years here.
- 1:14:15And so I just remember being like, Lord, like you are king of
- 1:14:19the universe, just release it like, like if there's unfinished
- 1:14:22business here, like God, your spirit is all of it, man.
- 1:14:26Like you already knew that. But if you needed an ambassador
- 1:14:30to contend that idea and speak it out, here I am right.
- 1:14:34Then the dolphin thing happens after the prayer.
- 1:14:37We built the cross. And the craziest part about it
- 1:14:40is we have, we have some video of these dolphins and, and
- 1:14:42they're like gently almost beaching themselves, just coming
- 1:14:46up, showing their eye, their dorsal, their fins to us.
- 1:14:50And it's like super harmonious. A pod of dolphins.
- 1:14:54Yeah. Glorious man.
- 1:14:56And so immediately Aaron's like, dude, I prayed that we would see
- 1:15:00a sign and, and and then this happens within 5 seconds and
- 1:15:04he's like losing his stuff. And I'm just like, in the
- 1:15:07moment, like, OK, we are here, right?
- 1:15:15And he's like, what do you think this is about?
- 1:15:16And I said, listen, we shouted in agreement to the one name
- 1:15:20that is above every single name. And another intelligent force
- 1:15:26took recognition to that. And not only did they understand
- 1:15:31what was happening, because my plea was out of desperation, it
- 1:15:35was out of wanting to see the power of God just be like spoken
- 1:15:40out into this region. Like I'm just not ashamed,
- 1:15:43right? Like I don't go into Walmart and
- 1:15:45scream Jesus, like I'm not that guy.
- 1:15:46Like it has to be led by the Spirit.
- 1:15:48And I haven't done this, but maybe two or three other times
- 1:15:50in like the state capitol. And there's like other anyway.
- 1:15:53But I I said to Aaron, I'm like, dude, I really do believe that
- 1:15:58these intelligent species, the dolphins are resonating with our
- 1:16:04cry for righteousness in the region.
- 1:16:06That's exactly what I said to you, Aaron.
- 1:16:08I didn't like pontificate. I didn't keep going into it.
- 1:16:10And we didn't sit and have this long talk.
- 1:16:13It was kind of silent after that for a little bit.
- 1:16:15And we reflected and we're just like, I'm like Aaron, does that
- 1:16:19happen? Like, and he's like, dude, I've
- 1:16:21never I'll let him testify. But so I ask Aaron a question.
- 1:16:25Does that happen in your experience?
- 1:16:27I mean, you've been on what the Discovery Channel diving with
- 1:16:30people like all different types of like you've been all around,
- 1:16:33right? Is that normal?
- 1:16:36No, it's it's not. They're actually usually pretty
- 1:16:39skiddish. Yeah, No, I dove with Ocean
- 1:16:42Ramsay. She's a world renowned diver and
- 1:16:45she's the one that was with was it Big Blue, the biggest great
- 1:16:50white shark in the world? But no, they they don't act that
- 1:16:53way. Like, yeah, no, they're very
- 1:16:55friendly and sometimes they can play around a little bit.
- 1:16:57But like, typically, especially on the beach, they only come to
- 1:17:01the beach if they're they're hunting fish because they'll
- 1:17:03trap them up against like the shoreline.
- 1:17:05This was not that. Like they literally just swim up
- 1:17:08very slowly. You could see the white in their
- 1:17:12eyes. They were looking at it.
- 1:17:13It's almost like they were looking into your soul.
- 1:17:15I mean like trying to paint a picture here, like honestly you
- 1:17:18had to be there. And like I, my first intention
- 1:17:21was not to pull out my phone, which like, you know, we live in
- 1:17:24a world where everybody wants to describe their phone.
- 1:17:26It was so serene and we're at serenity point that it's just
- 1:17:30like, I just remember just staring and then like looking at
- 1:17:35Rod like what is going on right now?
- 1:17:37It literally happened within probably 2 seconds of us
- 1:17:40proclaiming dominion over the land under the mighty name of
- 1:17:43Jesus. That is unreal, guys.
- 1:17:46That is crazy. Yeah.
- 1:17:48You know, I mean, Amen. What an incredible experience
- 1:17:53that, you know, God allowed gave like it's, it's just incredible.
- 1:18:01I've certainly I'll say I have seen and touched a dolphin, but
- 1:18:06it did not start praising Jesus right in front of me.
- 1:18:10I mean, the, the flipper waving, the whole thing.
- 1:18:13I mean, that's just like a beautiful choir of creation.
- 1:18:17And there's, you know, I don't know a whole ton about dolphins.
- 1:18:21All I know is from what kind of the whatever the the popular
- 1:18:26culture has has I've just absorbed.
- 1:18:32But I do find it interesting that, I mean, obviously dolphins
- 1:18:36are hold a very special place in creation, you know, from even
- 1:18:42from literature, you know, the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
- 1:18:46where the dolphins are aliens and they've been protecting us,
- 1:18:51you know, for generations or whatever.
- 1:18:54The the kind of unreal connection that lots of people
- 1:18:58have claimed to have with these creatures.
- 1:19:02Their weird uncanny ability to sense like human emotion or, or
- 1:19:08even diseases, crazy stuff like that.
- 1:19:12I mean, sometimes it does make me wonder that if God created a
- 1:19:19sea mammal to have such a, I'll say, lubricated connection with
- 1:19:27human beings. Just like what?
- 1:19:30What's the plan here, God? What is the, what role does this
- 1:19:34creature play? You know these dogs.
- 1:19:37Beauty and power in this. I mean, Oh my gosh.
- 1:19:40Yeah. I mean, it's, it's, it's that is
- 1:19:42full on, I think. I think anybody would agree that
- 1:19:45that experience, you know, you could put that right up with
- 1:19:48like UFO sighting or something, some other sort of.
- 1:19:53It's an underwater dolphin craft.
- 1:19:56Yeah. And it was it was like, no,
- 1:19:58seriously, though. All right.
- 1:19:59Can I can I do something here? Yeah, Do it.
- 1:20:02So I texted you last night, Baz, And I was like, do you remember
- 1:20:05Echo the Dolphin from Sega Genesis?
- 1:20:07And you were like, yeah, I never played it.
- 1:20:09Yeah, I never played it, but I didn't.
- 1:20:11Tell him about like, you know that I wanted to bring up
- 1:20:13dolphins on this episode. I just literally asked a
- 1:20:15question, but I have pulled up on the screen here the Echo the
- 1:20:19come on people, take a ride with me.
- 1:20:20We're millennials. I had the Sega Genesis don't
- 1:20:22hate on me. If you were Nintendo Wii
- 1:20:25couldn't afford both. But I used to play Nintendo a
- 1:20:27lot at my friends houses. And when the first echo the
- 1:20:30dolphin Sega Genesis game comes out, I remember my dad and my
- 1:20:34uncle playing it and I was just happy to get the controller in
- 1:20:36my hands. Like when they went to take a
- 1:20:37break and just flipping up out of the water.
- 1:20:39I didn't even know what the game was about.
- 1:20:41You know what I mean? Like but I start looking at it
- 1:20:46and this dolphin is literally going through and dealing with
- 1:20:51stargates and portals and using frequency and vibration to to
- 1:20:55collect dimensional gems that are found in the lost ruins of
- 1:21:00Atlantis. Lining those up to synchronize
- 1:21:03with the dolphins echo format and opening up new veils and
- 1:21:07dimensions. And it's like this, it's like a
- 1:21:08sad story because he like loses his family and he's like, he's
- 1:21:13like being tortured with the reality that he has to go
- 1:21:15through all these like Aqua dimensions to try to like
- 1:21:18retrieve his family. And he's fighting like Medusa,
- 1:21:22crazy creatures. And like, I'm, I'm in my 30s,
- 1:21:25right? I mean, my birthday's actually
- 1:21:27what's today tomorrow. Oh my God, I'm going to be 30.
- 1:21:29Happy birthday. I've never said my age on air.
- 1:21:31I'm going to be 37 tomorrow, May 18th, my God.
- 1:21:35And so this game I I sat as a little kid and then looked up at
- 1:21:40the big TV to my young peeps, to my twins and all their friends
- 1:21:45who listen. You guys have no idea what these
- 1:21:47TV's were like, but they were big.
- 1:21:50And they were. Big as a car?
- 1:21:51Yeah, and they didn't have the greatest picture, but I sat for
- 1:21:54countless hours in the 90s and watched this game play.
- 1:21:59I have no idea what happened to my little mind.
- 1:22:01Like, what was I programmed with?
- 1:22:03You know, like watching a echo dolphin and crystals and that
- 1:22:07like the dolphin would spin and open a portal.
- 1:22:08Crazy stuff. But anyway.
- 1:22:09I mean, talk about predictive programming.
- 1:22:12Let's do it seriously. And but I never thought nothing
- 1:22:14of it until in these latter years.
- 1:22:17This is why I literally got slammed with this idea.
- 1:22:20Because even what happened with Aaron in North Carolina, I
- 1:22:24didn't think more of it than another intelligent creature is
- 1:22:28resonating with our righteous cry.
- 1:22:31And all of the sudden Rod starts surfing the Internet and seeing
- 1:22:37seeing all of this stuff. So I'm not going to continue to
- 1:22:39just kind of rant on on this Dolphin or the echo game from
- 1:22:42Psychogenesis because it's it's old news, but.
- 1:22:45Maybe they're trying to lead you to the stargate at the end of
- 1:22:49the point. Maybe that's what problem When
- 1:22:51they built the the wave break or whatever, they crushed an
- 1:22:56ancient portal and they need you to drive a drive an excavator
- 1:23:02out into the ocean. I mean, at least this is what
- 1:23:05you're going to tell the cops when you steal an excavator and
- 1:23:08drive it into the ocean. Yeah, we didn't.
- 1:23:10We didn't do anything wrong. Anybody out there listening?
- 1:23:13Don't The dolphins, the dolphins came to us.
- 1:23:16We didn't do anything wrong. But it's just a crazy, this
- 1:23:20crazy connection because I feel like in all the years I've been,
- 1:23:24I've been doing this, which isn't very long, but I've looked
- 1:23:28into enough stuff where I'm like, OK, maybe not too much
- 1:23:32other stuff is going to like disturb me or I'm not going to
- 1:23:34have a personal encounter with something that will trigger
- 1:23:37right. Like I, I've already dealt with
- 1:23:40the dream world of all of it. I've, I've seen some stuff with
- 1:23:43my own eyes that is hard to describe.
- 1:23:46Some of it I can talk about maybe on a different future
- 1:23:49recording. But the dolphin thing for me,
- 1:23:52it, it was a pleasant surprise. You know, it was just like God
- 1:23:56was kind of nudging me to like, there's so much more that we
- 1:23:59don't get the beauty of or the, the design behind that that he
- 1:24:03has yet for us to do great exploits.
- 1:24:06I will mention two pieces of scripture.
- 1:24:08And I'm going to give a shout out to Terry Allen, who sent me
- 1:24:12a little bit of this because on our Thursday night prayer call,
- 1:24:15I did bring up this story with Aaron.
- 1:24:17We're on a Mega Man radio. Shout out to him Shannon Davis
- 1:24:20in Bali, Indonesia. We we shared a broadcast.
- 1:24:23We hijacked his his show about a week ago and Aaron told the
- 1:24:27dolphin story. So like all of it's like been
- 1:24:29brewing right? So shout out to Terry.
- 1:24:31He sends over that. Dolphins are mentioned in the
- 1:24:34Bible in a few ways, primarily in the context of the Exodus
- 1:24:37story as part of God's creation. Specifically, Exodus 2614 refers
- 1:24:43to the use of takash the skins in the construction of the
- 1:24:47Tabernacle, and some interpretations suggest that
- 1:24:50this refers to dolphin skins. So just an interesting little
- 1:24:53thing there that we might be able to consider.
- 1:24:56Additionally, Daniel 379 includes dolphins in a list of
- 1:25:00creatures praising the Lord. And so when I did that digging
- 1:25:05in Daniel 379, it doesn't come up verbatim.
- 1:25:08I think this is where it gets into like the hermeneutical
- 1:25:10hygiene or the etymology of usage of words.
- 1:25:13So certain people are arguing that dolphin could easily be
- 1:25:16inserted in that creature list, but it doesn't show up in the
- 1:25:19English as dolphins. So you guys, you know, I'm, I
- 1:25:22just want to be transparent. I'm not trying to say or preach
- 1:25:25something new to anybody out here, but you take it for what
- 1:25:28it is. Eat the meat, spit out the
- 1:25:29bones, you guys. But there's some stuff going on
- 1:25:31here and, and I mean kind of reverting it back to the fact
- 1:25:34that dolphins do have bigger brains than humans and they have
- 1:25:38a pineal and they have the same left and right hemisphere as
- 1:25:41humans do. Their, their brain is a, is
- 1:25:43modeled very similar to ours. They're using intentionality
- 1:25:48echolocation, which means they're, they're communicating
- 1:25:51to their environment. Dolphins have names for each
- 1:25:53other. They're, they're highly
- 1:25:54sociable. So what?
- 1:25:56I'm not gonna go much more into it than that, but it's
- 1:25:59fascinating. And I don't even live close to
- 1:26:01the beach. I'm in southeastern PA.
- 1:26:03Like I have to go through Philadelphia to go to the beach,
- 1:26:06and that's not ideal. So I try to stay, stay safe in
- 1:26:10the woods. Yeah, well, that was your first.
- 1:26:12Flippy upper flipper flipper update.
- 1:26:15Look at that. Update the birth of.
- 1:26:17The legend? No, trust me, there is no time
- 1:26:20limit on flippy or flipper updates.
- 1:26:23Yeah, I'm going to say you're going to send me off on a a
- 1:26:27journey to go learn more about dolphins.
- 1:26:29I don't have a whole lot of, you know, cool things to add to what
- 1:26:34you've already put together here.
- 1:26:35I will say it was again in in yesterday's Canary Cry Clubhouse
- 1:26:41episode, the topic was Leviathan and Behemoth and Leviathan
- 1:26:46specifically, if I was going to connect any dots, there was some
- 1:26:51interesting, I mean, there's lots of interesting stuff about
- 1:26:54Leviathan as the giant chaos sea creature from, you know, from
- 1:26:59the dawn of creation. And one of the one of the
- 1:27:04verses, I think it was in Daniel that refers to Leviathan talks
- 1:27:11about it as like in a way to to illustrate God playing with
- 1:27:19Leviathan in the ocean. Like Leviathan is like a playful
- 1:27:23dragon sea monster creature that, you know, God kind of
- 1:27:28tosses around and plays with. Now, obviously, when it comes to
- 1:27:34the both the literal, the metaphorical, the mythological
- 1:27:39and the theographical, whatever all the versions that the, the
- 1:27:46different ways that the Old Testament is meant to be read,
- 1:27:50whatever it is, you know, a we get the point that God is bigger
- 1:27:56than this biggest, almost demigod like horror creature.
- 1:28:01But also there's sort of like this playfulness.
- 1:28:04There's some sort of there's, you know, there's some sort of
- 1:28:09relationship with this sea creature that is different than
- 1:28:15with the behemoth or different from any other animals.
- 1:28:18You know, the Bible doesn't talk about like God prancing around
- 1:28:21with lions in the jungle or something.
- 1:28:24And yet God was sort of bobbing around dancing and playing in
- 1:28:29the ocean with Leviathan. Now I'm not saying Leviathan was
- 1:28:33a giant flame throwing, flame breathing dolphin, but you know
- 1:28:39it's it's going to be a great question to ask once we get to
- 1:28:41the sweep by and by. So basically what you're saying,
- 1:28:46or what I'm going to say is that when the beast rises out of the
- 1:28:49sea that a giant dolphins going to come to feed it.
- 1:28:52It's possible. It's possible that God has some
- 1:28:55big plan for the Dolphins that we don't know yet.
- 1:28:59I think the whole point of this and the whole point of like just
- 1:29:02introducing the Flipper update is the fact that like we need to
- 1:29:06be intentional on asking questions.
- 1:29:09So the only thing that really sparked this whole conversation
- 1:29:13about dolphins would be like, OK, why can't they swim with
- 1:29:17them? OK, why can we not see them
- 1:29:18breed? Why can we not talk to them?
- 1:29:21That's news to me, you know, why can we only go to certain areas
- 1:29:24of Antarctica? Why can we not have the know
- 1:29:28about all the secrets in Freemasonry, right?
- 1:29:31Like all these things. What is a woman, right?
- 1:29:34I mean like we're using he, they, whatever.
- 1:29:38I just want to go ahead and take this moment to introduce a bill
- 1:29:45to label the three letter agencies that are responsible
- 1:29:49for all of this as we will refer to them as they them.
- 1:29:57That's very funny. Yeah.
- 1:29:58I can suck in that bill. That's good.
- 1:30:01I mean, it's it's just seems natural.
- 1:30:04It's it's genetic, you know, they're they them.
- 1:30:06It's how we it's how we discussed them.
- 1:30:09That's great. So is they them in reference to
- 1:30:11a chimera? Are they like, yes, it's
- 1:30:17moleculated, I know it's yes. Many.
- 1:30:19But like it's it works almost right.
- 1:30:21Yes, and so many headed Hydra for sure.
- 1:30:25Oh my gosh, that is crazy. All right, so I'm going to I'm
- 1:30:30going to Spitfire 2 questions, one for Aaron, one for Basil and
- 1:30:35just, you know, try to share your view on this, right?
- 1:30:40So do you think that the Bible is to be taken literal?
- 1:30:44And that's a big question, but but try to, you know, maybe
- 1:30:48shorten concise. Do you think it's meant to be
- 1:30:50taken literal? Yes and no.
- 1:30:55I mean, like, like you just said, that's a, that's a tough
- 1:30:58answer. You know that Jesus spoke in
- 1:31:01parables. And my personal belief is that
- 1:31:04Jesus spoke in such a way that you could only be led by the
- 1:31:07Holy Spirit. I really understand because I
- 1:31:09mean, why would Jesus and even like, you know, the followers of
- 1:31:12Jesus, the writers of the Word, reveal all of their plans,
- 1:31:16especially from the beginning to the end, just for Satan to be
- 1:31:20able to counter that attack, right?
- 1:31:23So it's all there. But the Bible, you know, as
- 1:31:26we've said both on and off the air, is just a book with letters
- 1:31:32in that you have to pray about it and you have to be led by the
- 1:31:35Holy Spirit to make those words come to life.
- 1:31:38It is the living word. So yeah, I guess that's my
- 1:31:43answer is yes and no. Always be intentional, literally
- 1:31:48on being led by the Holy Spirit for sure.
- 1:31:51Oh, that's great. Yeah, it's kind of interesting.
- 1:31:54Like, I don't know, I, I don't have the art, the the words, I
- 1:31:59don't really know how to articulate it.
- 1:32:02So this will be a sloppy way to kind of respond to that.
- 1:32:07First of all, I agree with what you're saying.
- 1:32:09And then when I try to think about it more and deeper and
- 1:32:12really try to articulate my thoughts, I'm like, dude, I
- 1:32:16don't even know with where I am right now in the world in God,
- 1:32:23I'm not even really sure like if literal is even like helpful, I
- 1:32:31guess too small of a word. Like almost like I can't.
- 1:32:36There's not a whole lot of difference between whatever
- 1:32:41literal, metaphorical and especially when you're coming to
- 1:32:44the Bible. I mean, there's, there's it's, I
- 1:32:48mean, even just from the start, it's meant to be read in many
- 1:32:51different ways. Sometimes it's supposed to be
- 1:32:53sung, sometimes it's supposed to be, yeah, you know, parables
- 1:32:57and, and all sorts of stuff. So that's that's quite obvious.
- 1:33:02So at the same time, when I think like, well, yeah, I mean,
- 1:33:07the Bible is literal. But then in my head I'm like,
- 1:33:13the word literal kind of includes all the other thing.
- 1:33:17Like just because it's a parable doesn't mean that it's not
- 1:33:21literal because I want to literally read the parable the
- 1:33:25way it's supposed to be read. Like reading the Bible in the
- 1:33:28way it's meant to be read in any way or sung or taught or felt or
- 1:33:34anything, like still kind of is literal.
- 1:33:37Maybe I spent too much time like considering like if we're in a
- 1:33:40simulation or like in the mind of God or like, you know, when
- 1:33:44you start going down the many layers of trying to understand
- 1:33:49exactly what quote UN quote reality even is or consists of
- 1:33:56kind of like, you know, is is something little literal or
- 1:34:01metaphorical has kind of stopped being like a super helpful
- 1:34:06distinction specifically to try to argue about, I guess because
- 1:34:13I can already feel people out there.
- 1:34:14Oh my gosh, Basil doesn't think the Bible's literal.
- 1:34:17I think it is. But to have an argument with
- 1:34:21somebody about whether Psalms is literal or if it's songs or if
- 1:34:27it's this or if it's that. I literally think that the Bible
- 1:34:32is true in a truer sense than we even have a definition for true
- 1:34:36sort of transcendently literal or transcendently truth, you
- 1:34:42know, which may include sometimes that's an earth based
- 1:34:49mind might consider metaphorical.
- 1:34:52It's still true in a very literal sense.
- 1:34:57So I'm, I'm happy to report that I haven't had to get in an
- 1:35:02argument with somebody about that, although I do sometimes
- 1:35:05lay awake at night and remember getting into arguments with my
- 1:35:10atheist friends in middle school or like, strangely enough, my
- 1:35:15best friend's parents. I've had like, you know,
- 1:35:19conversations about the, the nature of the Bible and stuff.
- 1:35:23And I'm kind of like, Oh no, I don't even know how I'm going to
- 1:35:26describe to anybody else. That, like, literal is not even
- 1:35:30a helpful term anymore. Jeez Louise.
- 1:35:35Oh, there's a baby. I like what I really like what
- 1:35:40both of you said and this is kind of the birth of these
- 1:35:44segments where I guess hermeneutical hygiene can be
- 1:35:48exercised in the very setting that we set us helpful, right?
- 1:35:52Like we're like, we're coming together and kind of like auto
- 1:35:54correcting and learning from each other.
- 1:35:57And I thought about this and the, the reason I asked it is I,
- 1:36:01I kind of had the idea that we would come to this place where
- 1:36:03there's people out there that are asking that same question.
- 1:36:07Well, with everything going on, is it literal?
- 1:36:09Did any of it happen? Does it even matter?
- 1:36:11Is it all just metaphorical? Is it all meant to be, you know,
- 1:36:15layered into this matrix idea of our reality?
- 1:36:19And the benefits only come from the word that's eternally
- 1:36:21settled in heaven because blah, right?
- 1:36:26So the way that I look at it in agreement with you 2 is that
- 1:36:30it's literal until it can't be taken literal anymore.
- 1:36:33And the literal Ness of the Bible is like this grounding
- 1:36:37point of humility that there's certain things like, I guess we
- 1:36:40we couldn't argue, right? Archaeology, like like just them
- 1:36:43showing locationally. Or I mean, if you took the
- 1:36:48statement literal to love your neighbor and you actually did it
- 1:36:51and seen that it ends in this equation, whether they, they
- 1:36:54respond in love, like being, you know, fulfilling the law in that
- 1:36:59way. And it resonates with you.
- 1:37:01You're like, oh, I can read that verbatim right off the top.
- 1:37:04And it means what it says and it says what it means.
- 1:37:06And then we get to, you know, the idea of Doctor Chuck Missler
- 1:37:10would say, well, there's 200 formats of speech in the Bible.
- 1:37:13And I remember the first time I heard that.
- 1:37:15And I'm like, well, did any of it even happen?
- 1:37:17This is before I knew it, like anything about minor locations,
- 1:37:22you know, in, in in Israel and you know, geography or locations
- 1:37:27or archaeology are what they're able to prove now, which I which
- 1:37:30I think is the conversation now lends to it being so multi
- 1:37:35layered, like you said, Basil, and it's so grand that defining
- 1:37:41the beginning of this conversation is helpful for
- 1:37:44someone out there listening. But it also shows us that we've
- 1:37:47come so far from like maybe that first, you know, frog in your
- 1:37:52throat when you thought of when you when you questioned the
- 1:37:54idea, like, can I take any of this serious?
- 1:37:58And so a bit of reflection in it really does help for me
- 1:38:01personally. And I think it's meant to be
- 1:38:03taken literal until it can't be. And I think much of it can't be
- 1:38:08taken as in like tangible, just hold it up right in front of you
- 1:38:13because a lot of it, it's going to require faith and belief and
- 1:38:16childlike adventure and curiosity.
- 1:38:18So. You know there's.
- 1:38:19That's helpful for somebody out there who's listening, who's
- 1:38:22like, yeah, you know what? I kind of needed that critique
- 1:38:24on that idea. Yeah.
- 1:38:26And somebody who wants to get even weirder, you know, I would
- 1:38:29say even the discussion, the fact that it's an ongoing debate
- 1:38:34about the literalness of the Bible.
- 1:38:36Who is debating that? It's people who want to draw you
- 1:38:40away from faith. There's people who want to draw
- 1:38:43you away from God. Like that's why the conversation
- 1:38:47even really exists and really matters.
- 1:38:50It's because you know, getting maybe it's helpful for somebody
- 1:38:56and if it's helpful, helpful for them, I encourage them to
- 1:39:00continue, you know, down that path.
- 1:39:04I will say to get locked in the the literal or not literal
- 1:39:09debate is kind of it feels like a little bit of a trap in that
- 1:39:13it's only the debate only exists because somebody wants to take
- 1:39:18away from the Bible. They want to take away from the
- 1:39:20word of God. They want to take away a
- 1:39:22credibility. They want to take away, you
- 1:39:25know, the any sense in even reading it at all.
- 1:39:29It's playing the world's game a little bit to get stuck in the
- 1:39:35is it literal? Is it not you're you're playing
- 1:39:38the game that somebody invented to try to discredit the logos,
- 1:39:43the word of God. And you know, I'm sure there's
- 1:39:48that there's lots of times when that's helped somebody and I'm
- 1:39:51sure that that's a big part of somebody's you know thing and
- 1:39:54that's great. However, we don't even know.
- 1:39:58Like we don't what is literal when we don't even know what
- 1:40:02real is, what reality is every like, OK, what is real?
- 1:40:07Well, I can touch it. OK, well you actually don't
- 1:40:09touch anything because 99% of every atom is empty space and
- 1:40:14atoms never touch each other. Why don't they touch each other?
- 1:40:18We don't know because there's a force that just doesn't let them
- 1:40:22touch each other. Well, what do you mean?
- 1:40:24Does this force bounce up against each other?
- 1:40:26We don't know. It's literally just a piece of
- 1:40:28code that says. Says atoms don't touch each
- 1:40:31other. OK, So what we consider real in
- 1:40:35my hand to this controller is basically 99% space, and I'm
- 1:40:39really just holding a piece of code that is meant to not merge
- 1:40:44with my hands and become a piece of me.
- 1:40:47All right, Well, if that's literal, then I don't it's
- 1:40:51pretty. I'm not sure what literal even
- 1:40:53means anymore. You know, if something is
- 1:40:55literal or physical or whatever. And don't even get me started
- 1:40:59on, you know, the past or the future or the the.
- 1:41:04Time. Time at all?
- 1:41:05Like what even is time? Well, it's a measurable what is
- 1:41:09movement? OK, so well let's let's look at
- 1:41:12this. This is a super interesting
- 1:41:15thread to go on. You know the whole idea, like
- 1:41:18you said, with the space in between the spaces, right?
- 1:41:22So when we look at it through the microscope, right, the like
- 1:41:25the what is it called? Doctor Chuck used to talk about
- 1:41:29the cutting a piece of string and continue to cut that half's
- 1:41:33half all the way down to what loses a property called locality
- 1:41:37and it just becomes everywhere at once.
- 1:41:39It's plasma and it's like, OK, well, that's interesting.
- 1:41:41And then I don't know, for some reason I'm, I'm thinking about
- 1:41:45the lectins and the gut that are responsible for covering the
- 1:41:49blood brain barrier. They're, they're like, they call
- 1:41:51it the hunger hormone. So depending on like parasitic
- 1:41:55or, or good bacteria in your gut, it, it can take over your
- 1:41:59brain. It's literally the only thing
- 1:42:01that can cover that barrier and communicate.
- 1:42:03That's why we call the gut the second brain.
- 1:42:04And I'm like, so you need to tell me there's like microscopic
- 1:42:08parasitic activity that if you have enough of them in this tiny
- 1:42:12little space that that we have trouble measuring that they're
- 1:42:16able to communicate with your brain and cause you to be
- 1:42:20actionary or desire something. I'm like, OK, so it just gets
- 1:42:24weirder and weirder. And what are your guys thoughts
- 1:42:27on the idea of those micro cosmic spaces being inhabited by
- 1:42:34spiritual entities or having some type of quantum effect with
- 1:42:39spiritual things? I mean, it's a big question, but
- 1:42:43let's try to ride the wave of like, are there multiple pieces
- 1:42:46that kind of fit in and and make sense when we start to go?
- 1:42:49A demon doesn't have to be, you know, 5 foot 10 or a Nephilim
- 1:42:55disembodied spirit or whatever you want to call it, doesn't
- 1:42:58have to be the representation of what they may have literally
- 1:43:01been according to the Bible's dimensions.
- 1:43:04They can work in these tiny little spaces.
- 1:43:09Thoughts. Well, the Bible says that like,
- 1:43:12we're not just a body, we're mind, body and spirit, right?
- 1:43:17And then I also wanted to like, you know, just kind of go back
- 1:43:20real quick and I will answer your question, or at least I'll
- 1:43:22try to, you know, there's nothing new under the sun,
- 1:43:26right? So as you were talking about the
- 1:43:27gut being the second brain, you know, there's a term that I
- 1:43:32think we've all used before and heard that, you know, trust your
- 1:43:35gut. Where did that come from?
- 1:43:39You know, so the fact that we operate in the mind, body and
- 1:43:44spirit, I mean, like, how can we even fathom if we don't know, as
- 1:43:47Basil was saying, like we don't know.
- 1:43:49We don't know. I'm going to just go back as
- 1:43:53Michael Basham would say, you know, go back to the word
- 1:43:55because all the answers are there.
- 1:43:57And like being led by the spirit.
- 1:43:58I mean, like, I think that we're created in such a way that like,
- 1:44:01you know, knowledge, right? We wanted to eat from the tree.
- 1:44:03We wanted to be as gods. We want to know more, and I
- 1:44:07think we need to be not necessarily complacent, but
- 1:44:11like, OK, and trust that God has everything.
- 1:44:14And we don't necessarily need to understand everything.
- 1:44:17We see. The enemy wants to know
- 1:44:19everything. It's a technological war.
- 1:44:21It's a knowledge war, right? And they only feed us certain
- 1:44:26amounts of information. But like, you know, being led by
- 1:44:28the Spirit, we know a lot more than they do, you know, no
- 1:44:32different than like, you know, the power of tongs.
- 1:44:34And I did want to, you know, be I'll give it to you, Basil,
- 1:44:37because I'm sure you probably have a lot better answer than I
- 1:44:39do. But like, as Rod had his baby on
- 1:44:43air, it kind of just sparked something in me.
- 1:44:46And this is just kind of a weird thought, you know, me being a
- 1:44:49new dad, you know, I watched Boss baby not that long ago.
- 1:44:52And again, that whole theme of nothing new under the sun, you
- 1:44:56know, we go back to like the Tower of Babel and dividing of
- 1:44:58languages. I had this weird thought that, I
- 1:45:01don't know, maybe if you guys want to chew on it for a while
- 1:45:03and we can get back to each other.
- 1:45:06Sometimes, like when I look at my daughter, it seems like she
- 1:45:10knows a lot more than I do and she kind of babbles, right?
- 1:45:16Is she speaking in tongues, you know, and I just can't really
- 1:45:19understand her. Does she know a lot more?
- 1:45:21Is there no different than in the movie Boss Baby, where they
- 1:45:24they reach a certain point in their development where it's
- 1:45:28like, OK, I'm finally in the world, you know, I finally have
- 1:45:31my new language, you know what I mean?
- 1:45:35I don't know. Something to think about I
- 1:45:36guess. Yeah, no, yeah.
- 1:45:39I mean, honestly, I don't know if I'm just kind of stuck on the
- 1:45:42literal thing again, but you know, we're talking about how
- 1:45:48and put me back on track if I'm a little off track where, you
- 1:45:52know, we we started talking about the the atoms in the empty
- 1:45:56space and what is literal and is spirit.
- 1:45:59You know, what exists between those empty spaces.
- 1:46:03And you know what if we are trying to conceive of spirit
- 1:46:10versus well, they would say reality, but I would say I don't
- 1:46:15think there's a different, there's there's nothing
- 1:46:17separating spirit from reality. You know, everything is
- 1:46:21essentially spiritual. And that is not to say, as I'm
- 1:46:24sure somebody cringed out there, that is not to say that
- 1:46:27everything is sacred. Just because everything is
- 1:46:30spiritual has spiritual reality and spiritual consequence
- 1:46:33doesn't mean everything is holy. That's a thing to distinguish
- 1:46:40when you know, treading the sidelines of the, you know, I
- 1:46:47don't know the secular search for for spirituality versus, you
- 1:46:55know, what we've been given in the word of God.
- 1:46:58And so a yeah, I'm pretty sure your baby's speaking in tongues
- 1:47:06for sure. I don't know why there wouldn't
- 1:47:07be. I mean, the, the it's quite
- 1:47:13clear even from experience and even from biblical study that,
- 1:47:18you know, the Holy Spirit is with children.
- 1:47:21The Holy Spirit loves children so much that God's telling us to
- 1:47:26be like children. Jesus is insisting that we've
- 1:47:30messed up the the state of Adam before the fall was like
- 1:47:36children. It was only after the the the
- 1:47:43self consciousness of well, eating of the tree of the
- 1:47:49knowledge of fruit of evil to maturing in that way in, you
- 1:47:54know, you can easily see as any parent would.
- 1:47:57I'm not a parent, but I know a lot of parents and I agree with
- 1:47:59that them on this. And it's sort of stereotypical
- 1:48:02to you know, sometimes you wish they could just stay little
- 1:48:04babies forever. You just wish that they could
- 1:48:07stay innocent and cute and you can have all the fun days all
- 1:48:12the time. But then something happens and
- 1:48:16when Adam and Eve, you know, reached the state of the
- 1:48:21knowledge of good and evil, they found themselves self-conscious,
- 1:48:25suddenly self-centered, self obsessed, and they were ashamed
- 1:48:30or shame, felt shame about it and felt guilty and, you know,
- 1:48:35realized that they had things to hide and stuff like that.
- 1:48:39Much like where before they were effortly effortless with God,
- 1:48:44effortlessly walking with God, effortlessly talking with God,
- 1:48:49who knows if they even spoke a language.
- 1:48:52Maybe the whole time they were just blah blah, blahing like a
- 1:48:56baby. You know, it's interesting that
- 1:48:58God that Adam's job was to sort of devise language.
- 1:49:03You know, that was part of his his process that started when he
- 1:49:07was created was to then figure out what to call things where
- 1:49:12before that it had to have just been some heavenly language.
- 1:49:17How did God and Adam talk? We don't really know.
- 1:49:19Could have been pure utterance of the Holy Spirit.
- 1:49:22It's possible. I get these are kind of funky
- 1:49:24things to kind of explore and I'm not talking hard theology
- 1:49:29here. We're just having some fun.
- 1:49:32And so everything is spiritual in that it has spiritual
- 1:49:35consequence. And one thing that's sort of
- 1:49:41recently been getting a lot of traction, which makes total
- 1:49:44sense to me. And perhaps it's because I
- 1:49:48sometimes exist in a pre false state in my imagination about,
- 1:49:54you know, what things could be. But it's recently picking up
- 1:49:58more steam. I'm just grabbing it from
- 1:50:01Popular Mechanics here. So take that for what you will.
- 1:50:04It's like the tabloids of science, but says every single
- 1:50:08cell in your body could be conscious.
- 1:50:10Scientists say that could rewrite everything we know about
- 1:50:13human evolution so you can see the narrative being guided in
- 1:50:18that direction in the 1st place. But, you know, have you ever
- 1:50:21watched cells or bacteria or reproductive cells under a
- 1:50:27microscope or seeing this footage?
- 1:50:30You go, OK, let's just take, let's just say that those are
- 1:50:33just machines. You know, the assumption is not
- 1:50:35that that little thing swimming around is like has some sort of
- 1:50:39goal or like knows what it's doing or whatever.
- 1:50:44The idea is that it's sort of like an automaton that it's just
- 1:50:47following software instructions and, and but then you watch it
- 1:50:53and you're like, those little guys are on a mission.
- 1:50:56Those little guys kind of know what's going on.
- 1:50:59You know, I mean, the obvious, the obvious one comes to mind
- 1:51:02there. But you can also think of like,
- 1:51:05you look at what was it these even Like I think it's RNA or
- 1:51:11mRNA or some little piece of DNA.
- 1:51:15This was something that we looked a lot into, of course, in
- 1:51:18recent times. And you look at these things
- 1:51:20under a microscope and there's like a little worm, and it's a
- 1:51:24little worm like inching up and down, crawling.
- 1:51:28Up and down mechanical movement. Yeah.
- 1:51:30And it's going around, it's sniffing.
- 1:51:33It like goes up, it kind of sniffs around again, then it
- 1:51:36goes back and then it kind of makes a change and whatever.
- 1:51:39It's like a little maintenance guy on your DNA.
- 1:51:43Yes. And you look at that and you go,
- 1:51:45OK, well, if that's some sort of mindless automaton and you go,
- 1:51:50okay, well, how does it know to where to go?
- 1:51:53Well, there's a chemical signal. It gets a chemical.
- 1:51:56And so then it walks up and down the DNA and then it gets another
- 1:52:00chemical. It's like, bro, that's what we
- 1:52:03do. We get, we eat a cheeseburger
- 1:52:07and then we go to work and then we're at work for a while and
- 1:52:11then we eat another cheeseburger and then we go do what we're
- 1:52:14going to do. So now you know, the word
- 1:52:17consciousness is loaded because that's, you know, I don't think
- 1:52:21they're suggesting that every cell in your body has a brain
- 1:52:25and feels love and has dreams that it wants to accomplish or
- 1:52:31whatever. But if dolphins can swim up to
- 1:52:38the beach and join some humans in praising Jesus, how is that
- 1:52:46much different than some cells in your body living their life?
- 1:52:52Perhaps they have an instinct to crawl up and down your DNA and
- 1:52:56make changes. But they're making choices.
- 1:52:59You're watching them make choices.
- 1:53:02You will, you look at bacteria underneath the microscope and we
- 1:53:06all kind of have a vision of just like some cells sitting
- 1:53:09there. But then you see guys like
- 1:53:12swimming around, seeking out food, finding a piece of food,
- 1:53:17eating the food, bumping up against another bacteria and
- 1:53:21swimming around it. It's like, OK, we could think of
- 1:53:24them maybe as like Amazon warehouse robots who are moving,
- 1:53:29you know, packages around or something.
- 1:53:31Or if it's anything like any of other God's creations, it has
- 1:53:40some sort of motivation that it is acting on.
- 1:53:47So you get down to these very smallest things.
- 1:53:50Do I think bacteria have a soul that will be LED into heaven?
- 1:53:54I don't really know. I know we allegedly have a
- 1:53:57trillion cells in our body that are, you know, working together
- 1:54:03to make us work. Will our new glorified bodies,
- 1:54:09you know, in the sweet by and by will those have a trillion cells
- 1:54:14that are swimming around? What is going to be the nature
- 1:54:17of that? And then we get into the
- 1:54:18question of, you know, back to physical versus spiritual.
- 1:54:23And I was recently listening to. Oh, our buddy Tim Alberino has
- 1:54:29been getting everywhere lately, very impressed If he was
- 1:54:32recently on Tim Poole and he's on the real Tim Pool, real Tim
- 1:54:38Pool, The real Tim. Yeah, The, the, the beanie boy,
- 1:54:44Tim Pool. Yeah, the real Tim Pool.
- 1:54:46He had Tim Albarino on. And they're talking about all
- 1:54:50sorts of stuff. And of course, it's Tim.
- 1:54:52So inevitably the the conversation of aliens and
- 1:54:55Nephilim and stuff like that come up.
- 1:54:56And there was another gal on the show.
- 1:54:59I don't know who she is, but she was.
- 1:55:02They start talking about Nephilim, and Tim is like, wow,
- 1:55:05Nephilim like the mix of angels and humans.
- 1:55:08Is that actually in the Bible? And Tim goes, yeah, it's in the
- 1:55:11Bible. It's in Genesis, It's in Enoch.
- 1:55:13And Tim goes, no, Does it actually say that angels made
- 1:55:19babies with women? And he goes, yeah, yeah, it's in
- 1:55:22Genesis 6. It says right here, the sons of
- 1:55:25God came down, made him with the blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 1:55:27And Bane Dephilim goes, whoa. And then the gal chimes in and
- 1:55:32she says, well, how could angels do that?
- 1:55:35Because they don't have a body, because they're spiritual.
- 1:55:39They're spiritual beings. And in this broad vernacular,
- 1:55:45and I used Tim Pool as kind of an example of alternative media,
- 1:55:52but still basically secular media.
- 1:55:55Not not, you know, they haven't had a whole lot of Bible
- 1:55:59scholars and don't spend a lot of time trying to parse the
- 1:56:02differences between our angels manifest in a physical form or
- 1:56:06not. Right.
- 1:56:07So, so this gal goes, you know, well, angels don't have bodies.
- 1:56:11How could they make with with women?
- 1:56:13And so they have the conversation about, well,
- 1:56:16actually, as far as the Bible's concerned, angels have had
- 1:56:20bodies plenty of times. This, this, this line between
- 1:56:25physical and quote spiritual, where in the common secular or
- 1:56:30even just alternative vernacular, spiritual inherently
- 1:56:34means invisible. If you say spiritual, you're
- 1:56:39saying you can't see, touch, taste or smell it.
- 1:56:42You know, that's really the definition that they're working
- 1:56:45with. Whereas biblically angels, the
- 1:56:49quintessential spiritual beings are often take physical form in
- 1:56:55our reality. Well, what does that tell us?
- 1:56:57It tells us that the separation the difference between physical
- 1:57:02and quote spiritual is a infinitely less differentiated
- 1:57:11than the sort of common way of talking about it.
- 1:57:14And I think that's where I think, you know, at least in
- 1:57:17broader culture, this is starting to be talked about a
- 1:57:20lot more because of the alien stuff and the this.
- 1:57:23And of course, Christianity is having a resurgence right now
- 1:57:27thanks to Gen. Z.
- 1:57:30And, you know, it is one of these things that you kind of
- 1:57:32got to talk about on on the the sideline, the side of the court
- 1:57:35a little bit because it's still, you know, like a lot of things,
- 1:57:41the sort of new age movement made touching on some topics a
- 1:57:46little bit sensitive for people. So but you go back to the Bible,
- 1:57:51there is significantly less distance between quote UN quote
- 1:57:56spiritual and physical or whatever material reality and
- 1:58:02spiritual reality. So much like I'm having a big
- 1:58:06problem these days differentiating well between
- 1:58:10literal and not literal. I mean, if it's true, it's
- 1:58:14literal. If it is, it's literal God.
- 1:58:17You know, God didn't just make everything.
- 1:58:19He's the reason being exists, why being can be, why anything
- 1:58:25is instead of is not. And unfortunately, you know, a
- 1:58:29lot of the new age kind of came to this conclusion in modern
- 1:58:33times earlier than a lot of Christians.
- 1:58:36Now I'll say you go back far enough to sort of the desert
- 1:58:39fathers, the early Christians. This was just common knowledge.
- 1:58:42And somewhere along the line, you know, I, I love American
- 1:58:46evangelicalism, I love Protestantism.
- 1:58:49I owe everything I have to Protestantism and American
- 1:58:53evangelicalism. But it really is a very new set
- 1:58:58of assumptions. I wouldn't even really say
- 1:59:00theology or beliefs or anything. There is a set of assumptions in
- 1:59:05American evangelical Protestantism that is really
- 1:59:10descendant from the Enlightenment period.
- 1:59:15American evangelicalism is really like 100, maybe 150 kind
- 1:59:20of years old. It's an incredibly new model
- 1:59:25that sort of dictates the, you know, most people's default
- 1:59:30understanding of spirituality in America.
- 1:59:34However, thankfully, more and more and more people are not
- 1:59:40only coming to be interested in what the Bible has to say, but
- 1:59:45also spending much more time actually thinking and exploring
- 1:59:50and stuff like that. And I think we're going to see
- 1:59:52with this new generation of Gen. Z Christians, while while they
- 1:59:57are going to be significantly more traditional than the
- 2:00:00current American evangelical Protestant movement, you know,
- 2:00:04mega churches, progressivism in the church, this kind of stuffs
- 2:00:08where the. The Protestants kind of tried to
- 2:00:11keep up with secularism rather than the other way around.
- 2:00:15While they will be more traditional, I think value
- 2:00:19virtue, and however have the same struggles the rest of us
- 2:00:22have. I think this broad understanding
- 2:00:26of what is physical, what is spiritual, what is literal and
- 2:00:29what is literal and what is literal and what is literal and
- 2:00:32what is spiritual and physical. You know where I feel us coming
- 2:00:36to a place where, again, we were not stuck playing the skeptics
- 2:00:42game, playing the game of the professional scientists, the
- 2:00:47priests of science, the the quote literalists, the
- 2:00:51materialists. Much of our conversation is
- 2:00:54dictated by that realm of thought, by the system that
- 2:01:00wants us to worship experts with degrees, worship, you know,
- 2:01:06members of of an NGO or scientific community.
- 2:01:11The guy on TV, whatever he says is true.
- 2:01:15That's where that's the way we go.
- 2:01:16And it's those guys, it's the Fauci's on TV who are forcing
- 2:01:20the conversation into, well, angels can't be physical.
- 2:01:27Well, either they're either physical or they're spiritual.
- 2:01:30Which is it? Are they, are they invisible
- 2:01:32ghost beings or are they physical?
- 2:01:34Because if they're physical, then they're just people.
- 2:01:36You know, we're playing their game and I'm done playing their
- 2:01:39game. I'm done kind of being, being
- 2:01:42scared. You know, I mean, things are
- 2:01:45weird enough as they are. And I think, you know, God is
- 2:01:48really, I think that's going to be part of the next year is the
- 2:01:53I think the spirit around these conversations is going to be
- 2:01:57going in a much different direction.
- 2:02:00Yeah, wow, That's really well said.
- 2:02:04I guess you could say there there's a bit of that
- 2:02:08responsibility within, you know, the millennial, the elder
- 2:02:11millennial generation to not only be ready to at any point in
- 2:02:17time give a good answer for what we believe, but even be
- 2:02:20challenged at what the Bible calls us to do.
- 2:02:24That this younger generation may do better, you know, and it's
- 2:02:28going to require some humility, but they're also not going to
- 2:02:31have experience. Like it takes me to this idea
- 2:02:34where if you were to base only what you consider to be true in
- 2:02:42the Bible based on your personalized experience, how
- 2:02:46much of it would measure up with totality to the text?
- 2:02:49You know what I mean? And it's like, well, wouldn't
- 2:02:52that be an interesting concept? Like did you have an angelic
- 2:02:55experience? Because if you didn't, they're
- 2:02:57not literal beings that appeared in front of you in your time
- 2:03:00space dimension. I was like, oh wow, that could
- 2:03:03challenge a lot of people that talk about this that maybe
- 2:03:06haven't had that upfront, like face to face, eye to eye
- 2:03:10encounter was something that they couldn't explain.
- 2:03:12And I think that's an interesting idea that there's a
- 2:03:16generation of people coming in that are going to have more of
- 2:03:19that religious form because me and Aaron looked statistically
- 2:03:22and the reason I work with behind the scenes and on air,
- 2:03:25you know, organizations that prevent child suicide, suicide
- 2:03:30prevention from accident in the Philippines all the way to the,
- 2:03:34you know, doctor Natalie Atwell, for example, being one.
- 2:03:36There's many others, but is because it's a it's a real
- 2:03:39problem. We looked up statistically how
- 2:03:41many young people were committing suicide and I was
- 2:03:44blown away to find out it's 13 to 21 years old.
- 2:03:47And I'm like, my God, like, talk about not looking out for your
- 2:03:51little brother. Like just because I'm 36 doesn't
- 2:03:53mean I should be in any way not completely on on my radar.
- 2:04:01The condition of those who are younger than me.
- 2:04:04I was like, man, like, so this is there's a lot here.
- 2:04:07God. Now it requires a body like
- 2:04:10dude, we nobody can can't even start to tackle this thing
- 2:04:15unless we have Ecclesia, unless we have, you know, willing
- 2:04:19participants, all decks on hand and in love.
- 2:04:22But it's so back to like this kind of lane or idea for another
- 2:04:28moment of if we were to testify to what we consider to be
- 2:04:34truthful about the Bible based on personal experience, like
- 2:04:37literally you as a listener out there.
- 2:04:39I want you to like think about that.
- 2:04:42If you've had a ton of supernatural encounters, good or
- 2:04:45bad, you know, does that mean your your story, your testimony,
- 2:04:50your truth is any more real than somebody who maybe only
- 2:04:53experiences just love and peace? Who says man, I I know God
- 2:04:57because I feel the love of God and I've tried the pill, I've
- 2:05:00tried the bottle, I've tried the world, I've tried the doctors,
- 2:05:03I've tried the counseling. It doesn't work, but I feel
- 2:05:06right. And it's like this could be a
- 2:05:08really interesting thing to ponder even like on like like a
- 2:05:10miniseries in the future that kind of bite sized chunks, some
- 2:05:13of this material. Not only is it going to help us
- 2:05:16as elder brothers to to this younger generation that's trying
- 2:05:20to figure out, like you guys throw us to the wolves with
- 2:05:23COVID, with secularism, with going with the flow, systematic
- 2:05:27desensitization. We've been frequently based
- 2:05:29attacked, right? Culturally attacked,
- 2:05:31subliminally attacked, LED astray.
- 2:05:34A lot of the times, like the millennials, in my opinion, we
- 2:05:36were just trying to survive like the onslaught of what came.
- 2:05:39It was really hard to look out for other people.
- 2:05:42But I think God's putting it on specifically the ministry that
- 2:05:45he's given me our heart to be like, no, we want to encompass
- 2:05:47all of it. We're not going to be selective.
- 2:05:49We're not going to judge you based on denomination.
- 2:05:52We're not going to argue points of like whatever eschatology,
- 2:05:56like it, it's going to be, OK, let's get these certain things
- 2:06:01right. And and so this is a golden
- 2:06:03opportunity for three podcasters to like be, you know, two hours
- 2:06:08into this and really getting into like what I would consider
- 2:06:11to be the crux of the issue experientially to the time slot
- 2:06:15that we're experiencing with what we've been given right now.
- 2:06:19Like we're starting to get to the meat of it in the most
- 2:06:23beautiful way in my opinion. Yeah, you know, the Bible says
- 2:06:28that we entertain angels unawares.
- 2:06:30That's a good one. I mean, like that could that be
- 2:06:34spiritually, could that be physically?
- 2:06:35Could it be both? I mean, like, I mean, like, why
- 2:06:38are we limiting? It seems that we live in a world
- 2:06:40that like really wants to limit, you know, the functionality and
- 2:06:44the capability of our creator God and we limit him into our
- 2:06:50own understanding. So again, I think this is human
- 2:06:54nature and I think this probably happened, you know, at the fall,
- 2:06:57you know, in the garden. And I just want to say as we
- 2:07:01kind of wind down that, you know, we talked about failing
- 2:07:05forward quite a bit. No, no different than what Rod
- 2:07:08says, that we all get something a little bit wrong and a little
- 2:07:11bit something right, you know, but also trying to create a new
- 2:07:14standard. And hopefully for the listeners,
- 2:07:17I think this is the perfect example and representation of
- 2:07:21taking a deeper dive, having somebody like Basil from Canary
- 2:07:25Cry Radio and Canary Cry News Talk.
- 2:07:27I mean, yeah, we we used him. We used him to go on these rants
- 2:07:32because he's somebody that serves as a really, really good
- 2:07:35example on breaking things down and getting down to the meat.
- 2:07:39And just like, you know, not exploring the million mixed
- 2:07:45messages, but focusing on one topic, praying about it, really
- 2:07:49trying to understand it and breaking it down, you know.
- 2:07:52So Basil, I just want to say thank you, man.
- 2:07:54I I could hear you talk for hours a day.
- 2:07:57Oh, wait, I do. It's called Canary Cries News
- 2:07:59Talk. So.
- 2:08:01I'm very grateful for that brother.
- 2:08:03Oh, well, thank you, man. I really appreciate that.
- 2:08:06Yeah, you guys can bring me on, use me to fill airtime whenever
- 2:08:10you want. There's really a wonderful
- 2:08:11opportunity you guys have here, and you're both extremely
- 2:08:14thoughtful and also patient. So thank you.
- 2:08:18Thank you for that. Yeah, I, I just want to once
- 2:08:23again, the first time Basil, you came on, it was like early one
- 2:08:26hundreds, you know, and we had this like crazy long kind of
- 2:08:31harmonious conversation. I got to hear about the magical
- 2:08:34tooth that grew, you know, just like all this cool stuff, man,
- 2:08:38and really got to explore, you know, the questions that that I
- 2:08:42have wondered over the years, like, man, what I want to ask
- 2:08:45Basil this and highlighting the clubhouses that you're doing
- 2:08:49during the week. I think that's super awesome for
- 2:08:51the Millennium Mustard Seed listeners who are unaware of
- 2:08:54what you're doing to go and pop in and say hi and ask some
- 2:08:58questions and get engaged with that because I have nothing but
- 2:09:02private and public compliments for that.
- 2:09:04That's one thing that I try to like exercise as a man.
- 2:09:07If I'm going to praise you on private, I'll praise you in
- 2:09:10public. Like I'm not going to separate
- 2:09:12those two. And you guys, you and guns
- 2:09:15specifically, and you've heard this.
- 2:09:18And I'm not saying this to puff you up, man.
- 2:09:19I'm saying this because what more of an opportunity than the
- 2:09:23present opportunity to to once again say, man, I've stood on
- 2:09:28your shoulders. I've seen the work that you guys
- 2:09:32have put into it as just a guy from the distance looking.
- 2:09:35And I really never thought that I would be somebody with a show
- 2:09:39engaging with you and in collaborating and talking with
- 2:09:43you and getting to know you. And it comes with humility.
- 2:09:46And it also comes with like this confidence of my God, like you
- 2:09:52can cover the chasm for us, Lord, you can lead us by the
- 2:09:56power of your spirit into places that were not imaginative prior.
- 2:10:02You can open doors that nobody else can close.
- 2:10:05And this is just the beginning. So in humility, man, I just want
- 2:10:08to honor you and just bless you and just say everybody on the
- 2:10:11MMS leave that five star rating and written review if you're
- 2:10:16able to on Canary Cry Radio and Canary Cry News talk.
- 2:10:20Because these guys have blazed a trail.
- 2:10:22They've went into places that have been uncomfortable before.
- 2:10:25It was cool to have these conversations.
- 2:10:27They have opened the door to humility and and willing to
- 2:10:31help. If if it only reached one
- 2:10:33person, I'm one person here we are the millennial mustard seed.
- 2:10:38Whoever would have thought that we'd even be more than 30
- 2:10:40downloads a week, like whoever would have thought we'd reach
- 2:10:43Aaron and then Aaron, like Aaron's life would change and
- 2:10:46now he's a part of the team, man.
- 2:10:49So I'm one person, Basil, and through one person you've
- 2:10:53reached a lot more. So it's the highest honor I can
- 2:10:57give you is beating up the microphone and spitting on my
- 2:11:00computer screen at the end of this episode with my excitement
- 2:11:03about just being being able to call you.
- 2:11:05But eternal best buddy, Basil. So really appreciate your time,
- 2:11:08man. And Baz, I'm going to give it to
- 2:11:10you for the last word. Just land this thing as you see
- 2:11:12fit. And wow, humbling.
- 2:11:16Yeah, Well, God bless you, buddy.
- 2:11:18Thank you so much. And yes, it's, I'll say this,
- 2:11:21you are welcome to compliment me and puff me up as much as you
- 2:11:26feel the Holy Spirit leads you to.
- 2:11:28Because certainly, as I'm sure you know, and the more you do
- 2:11:32it, the more you find out, it does become an incredibly
- 2:11:35deflating experience. Sometimes it's just part of the
- 2:11:38business. And you know, to be honest,
- 2:11:40there's nothing else that I'd rather be doing.
- 2:11:44But like, like any pursuit worth doing, it has, it has its ups
- 2:11:51and downs. It has its challenges.
- 2:11:53And not just, again, literal challenges or technical
- 2:11:58challenges, although those are aplenty, but the challenges that
- 2:12:04come with existing as a human being.
- 2:12:06You know, when it comes to doing things like we do, where the,
- 2:12:13the deliverable is what God is doing in our lives, what God has
- 2:12:20brought us through every sentence, every rant, every
- 2:12:24moment of air time is a is a consequence or a product of not
- 2:12:31some time in school, not some moments in study, but is a total
- 2:12:39product of everything, every resource that God has put in to
- 2:12:46making us who we are. And that does go all the way
- 2:12:50down to the weird little bacteria floating around doing
- 2:12:54their jobs. It goes to the quiet moments at
- 2:12:57night when the only voice we can hear is is our our own or the
- 2:13:03Holy Spirit. And hopefully it's the latter.
- 2:13:06It's every off air moments with our families and our friends and
- 2:13:12our the troubling things, the time we spend on customer
- 2:13:17service calls. You know, it's the biggest
- 2:13:20blessing in the world to know that every seconds that we
- 2:13:26endure of this life is God doing a good work in US.
- 2:13:31And then to have the ability to mobilize that work in sort of a
- 2:13:35tangible way like this, for all of its ups and downs, you know,
- 2:13:40it's an incredibly humbling experience.
- 2:13:43And, you know, going through it is one thing, and watching
- 2:13:47someone else do it as well is a total other thing.
- 2:13:51It's been such a pleasure to sort of watch you guys persist
- 2:13:58and survive and continue with the positivity and keeping the,
- 2:14:06the main thing the main thing because I'm grateful I'm not
- 2:14:12going through it on your, you know, on your side, but I know
- 2:14:17exactly what it's like and what it takes.
- 2:14:20So it really is a pleasure to see you guys doing what you're
- 2:14:23doing here and putting such a wonderful collection of people
- 2:14:29and projects together. It's it's, I told you on the
- 2:14:32phone the other day, I mean, I I do admire that about you guys.
- 2:14:36You've got, you've got a fire in you that is contagious.
- 2:14:42And so I want to thank you guys for that.
- 2:14:44And yeah, you know, this world wants to, I think one of the
- 2:14:50biggest systems going on in the world right now.
- 2:14:55And I think this counts for people who have been believers
- 2:14:57forever. It's counts for people who are
- 2:15:01just coming to the knowledge of the spiritual reality of God.
- 2:15:06And it counts for the people who are not yet there that the
- 2:15:10system we're in much like to speak metaphorically or
- 2:15:15literally, much like the banking system, which, you know,
- 2:15:20inherently channels us into a set of behaviors and a set of
- 2:15:23values and a set of habits and a set of rubrics for how to
- 2:15:29survive and pay your rent and save and invest in whatever.
- 2:15:33Where it's really just playing in the system they built.
- 2:15:36There's nothing natural about it.
- 2:15:38And we only play that game because we they have made it so
- 2:15:43we don't have any other choice. I mean, we have other choices,
- 2:15:45but those ones, of course, don't seem very pleasurable.
- 2:15:50You know, if we eschew all material concern and don't pay
- 2:15:55our bills and go live in the woods in a cardboard box, it's
- 2:15:58certainly an option. But there's no system built
- 2:16:01around that. And in the same way, they've
- 2:16:05built a system around us that channels us.
- 2:16:09It funnels even the most conscious and reverence and
- 2:16:21mindful and you know all even the best of us, if you could
- 2:16:28even say a thing, if you could say such a thing.
- 2:16:32It has us herded back to that image of the herding of the
- 2:16:37sheep where we're within the boundaries of a pen that's been
- 2:16:42laid out for us when it comes to talking about spiritual things,
- 2:16:49literal things, material things, they've dictated the rules of
- 2:16:54the endless never ending conversation about, you know,
- 2:16:58well, is the Bible literal or is it not literal?
- 2:17:01There are angels real or invisible.
- 2:17:03Well, what about this is that you'll notice that all the
- 2:17:07options are ones that answer the questions asked by the
- 2:17:13credentialed priests of materialism, of scientism.
- 2:17:19And I think honestly, it's because they know that they're
- 2:17:26they're not really the most important things.
- 2:17:28It's not really. I mean, it's not really the
- 2:17:31thing that develops a closer than close relationship with the
- 2:17:41creator of the universe. Whether you think the Bible is
- 2:17:44entirely literal or just a little bit literal or this or
- 2:17:49that, when it comes down to it, that is not necessarily a
- 2:17:57salvation issue. I mean, of course we can again
- 2:18:03get trapped in that conversation and say all the reasons why it
- 2:18:06may lead to somebody, blah, blah, blah.
- 2:18:09But the fact of the matter is we're all breaking out in in
- 2:18:14almost every manifestation, in every instantiation of the
- 2:18:22paradigm laid out for us that we have been.
- 2:18:26We didn't even know there is anything outside of the
- 2:18:28paradigm. We we haven't even known that
- 2:18:31there was any possibility that we've been tricked into thinking
- 2:18:36that literal, metaphorical, physical, spiritual has to be
- 2:18:40one or the other. Even the definitions of those
- 2:18:43very things, they're just given to us to, again, not just
- 2:18:48control the information. It's not about necessarily
- 2:18:51controlling what we know or what we don't know.
- 2:18:53They tried that very, very passionately and they found out
- 2:18:59that it's a not very easy to do, to control information, ideas
- 2:19:04that can't be killed. And the second they're out, they
- 2:19:07stay there forever. But what they can do is control
- 2:19:12our emotions, control our spiritual state, and they can
- 2:19:17hurt us around and getting caught in these more or less
- 2:19:22meaningless distinction distinctions.
- 2:19:25And you know, we know that some of the most important things in
- 2:19:31the universe are happening in fellowship and are happening in
- 2:19:35synthesis. God the Father, God the Son, God
- 2:19:38the Holy Spirit, God the Holy Spirit, both separate yet
- 2:19:44eternally. 1 referring to one another, obedient to one
- 2:19:48another, yet total union. And we think about, well, what
- 2:19:55are we? Are we mind, body, or spirit?
- 2:19:58Which one's important? Well, if we take a second to
- 2:20:04step out real quick of the bounds, it becomes eternally
- 2:20:11obvious that our mind and our body and our spirit.
- 2:20:16While maybe separate things are in constant contact, constant
- 2:20:20communication, and essentially one together.
- 2:20:26And I think that's a very empowering thing to step outside
- 2:20:31of a paradigm that wants to split you up.
- 2:20:35It wants to split you up into various pieces, or it wants to
- 2:20:38say you're just body, or it wants to say you're just one of
- 2:20:43them. When the fact is the very nature
- 2:20:47of reality that we see on the highest levels, the nature of
- 2:20:51God himself, is this synthesis of various parts that are all so
- 2:20:58closely tied in union. To even distinguish between them
- 2:21:03is more of a practice in rhetoric than it is in reality.
- 2:21:10And so I think in the next 365 days as the robots are taking
- 2:21:14over, as people start marrying their AIS, as jobs become
- 2:21:21useless or or non existence, as society as we know it changes in
- 2:21:29ways that at the very best we might be able to compare them to
- 2:21:37a set of science fiction movies. When in reality we have no way
- 2:21:43of knowing exactly what it's going to be like.
- 2:21:47Stepping outside of the paradigm that they try to keep us in as
- 2:21:50believers, as individuals, even as individuals in fellowship, as
- 2:21:57Christ said, in fellowship, the church is 1 body, as we've gone
- 2:22:03over so many times before and is so important.
- 2:22:07But it's about that synthesis of many coming together, working as
- 2:22:11one, like the trillions of cells in your body, each with their
- 2:22:16own little motivations and their own little jobs.
- 2:22:20Whatever various versions of consciousness they might be
- 2:22:22experiencing, or if they're experiencing at all, it's quite
- 2:22:26obvious they're a little bit more than robots, in the same
- 2:22:29way that each one of us is a little bit more than robots.
- 2:22:33And the world is going to be completely different in 365
- 2:22:36days. I have no way to tell you what
- 2:22:38it is, but the only way to survive is going to be staying
- 2:22:44rooted and grounded. Not in the paradigm or the
- 2:22:47conversations that have torn us apart for so many generations
- 2:22:52that somehow keep getting brought up.
- 2:22:56The amount of times where it's some most important
- 2:23:00conversation, podcast, debate, blah blah, book, whatever,
- 2:23:05trying to figure out is something literal or not
- 2:23:07literal. Can we just take a second and
- 2:23:11realize that the nature of reality is God?
- 2:23:19There is no, there is no being without the being who made being
- 2:23:25be we only is because he is. And that goes for every single
- 2:23:33aspect of our life. And it might sound kind of, you
- 2:23:36know, a little bit heady, might sound a little bit mystical or
- 2:23:40something. It might sound, but these are
- 2:23:42the times that we're in. We're done playing by the by the
- 2:23:48rules of the establishment of the credentials of the experts.
- 2:23:53And so if you're out there having conversations that take a
- 2:23:58step towards the line, I'm excited to see it happen and I
- 2:24:03can't wait to see what this next generation does.
- 2:24:07Honestly, at this point, I've spent a lot of time shaking in
- 2:24:11my boots about what the future holds, the near future.
- 2:24:16Spent a lot of time, a lot of energy, a lot of air time
- 2:24:20postulating, theorizing, dissecting and analyzing how
- 2:24:25spooky the future is going to be.
- 2:24:27But in the end, kind of looking forward to it, kind of looking
- 2:24:32forward to whatever God has in store, Not just for me
- 2:24:36personally, but also for me personally, but for the body as
- 2:24:39a whole. And you guys are a great part of
- 2:24:41that. And everybody listening out
- 2:24:42there needs to consider themselves a part of that.
- 2:24:45You're not just listening to a podcast.
- 2:24:49You're out. You're probably at work mowing
- 2:24:50the lawn, washing the dishes, doing the laundry in the car
- 2:24:54with the kids. You should be playing this in
- 2:24:56the car with the kids, whatever it is.
- 2:25:01But you are, you are fully a part of the most important body
- 2:25:06on earth right now. And that is the fellowship of
- 2:25:09believers in the the church that holds Christ as it's rocked and
- 2:25:14we build our foundation on. And so everybody start doing and
- 2:25:18I'll encourage everybody listening to do just as I
- 2:25:21encouraged everybody else to do for many years, which is hey, if
- 2:25:27doing a podcast, having conversations, doing this sort
- 2:25:30of thing, it's something the Lord put on your heart.
- 2:25:33Just do it. Start doing it.
- 2:25:36Reach out if anybody needs help or whatever the the obstacles
- 2:25:41have never been less significant to doing it.
- 2:25:45And if the Lord calls you to it, it doesn't matter who's
- 2:25:48listening, doesn't matter how many downloads you get, doesn't
- 2:25:51matter this or that, because it's really what other choice do
- 2:25:57you have? You're not going to do it, guys
- 2:25:59telling you to do something. You're not going to do it just
- 2:26:01because what? Because you don't want it, you
- 2:26:04don't have time, whatever. You don't mean to bully anybody,
- 2:26:08but we're running out of time. We're running out of time all
- 2:26:11together. The time to do whatever you want
- 2:26:13to do in your life, whatever you feel like God's calling you to
- 2:26:16do now. I'm just telling you right now
- 2:26:19as a guy who's been doing it for 13 years now, now is the time to
- 2:26:24do it. There is no next year.
- 2:26:26Your options will start to become thinner and thinner.
- 2:26:31Now God of course always says the perfect path for you and he
- 2:26:34can lift you up in any direction he wants.
- 2:26:37But I'm telling you, things are not going to be the same and we
- 2:26:40need you to do what God is calling you to do.
- 2:26:44So thank you guys for letting me go on one last rant there.
- 2:26:47But I think if nothing else, there is a crowd of people,
- 2:26:53there are believers that God is empowering and inspiring and
- 2:26:59there's there's absolutely no reason not to answer the call.
- 2:27:05I will say let your expectations be his expectations.
- 2:27:10And things start making a lot more sense in the world.
- 2:27:15I'd think that's it. Psalms 1050.
- 2:27:20Give thanks unto the Lord, call upon His name, Make known his
- 2:27:25deeds among the people. Sing unto him, sing psalms unto
- 2:27:29Him. Take ye all of His wondrous
- 2:27:32works. Glory ye his holy name.
- 2:27:36Let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord, Seek the
- 2:27:40Lord and His strength. Seek his face forevermore.
- 2:27:43Remember His marvelous works that He hath done his wonders,
- 2:27:48and the judgments of his mouth. O ye seed of Abraham, his
- 2:27:53servant, the children of Jacob has chosen.
- 2:27:57He is the Lord our God. His judgements are all in the
- 2:28:01earth, and he hath remembered his covenant forever, The word
- 2:28:06which he commanded to 1000 generations.
- 2:28:10Well, that's it. That's the show.
- 2:28:11You guys, you know the deal. Share this one far and wide.
- 2:28:16It makes a difference. You're helping us find one more
- 2:28:20person that's just like us coming to you from southeastern
- 2:28:23Pennsylvania. God bless and goodbye.
- 2:28:54I trusted in your word many troubled nights.
- 2:28:57All that darkness thought I lost my sight.
- 2:29:00The devil shooting shots under in my life.
- 2:29:03But I'm covered by the blood. So I'm going to be all right.
- 2:29:06I'm down one, but I'm up two. I've been down once.
- 2:29:10But as Love's true, I'm seeking this face, feeling the grace.
- 2:29:13I'm running this race for eternity.
- 2:29:16Space. I need more love.
- 2:29:17Less tears, no more drugs, less fears.
- 2:29:20The stress reel detached here I'm washing over everything up
- 2:29:24in my mind. Pummel the devil.
- 2:29:26How's this feel? You out of time.
- 2:29:29Look, God, you said you never leave me.
- 2:29:32Look, God, you said you always see me through.
- 2:29:36You always see me through because these demons get to
- 2:29:41chase in there for me. Generational iniquity is
- 2:29:45everything I see when I look in my family pictures, 'cause my
- 2:29:48baby pictures, they got me crying like I'm just in the
- 2:29:51devil and I'm praying just real hard in the Spirit.
- 2:29:54I'm really feeling the Holy Spirit is coming near me.
- 2:29:57I'm like, Lord God, be the way, the truth or life don't ever
- 2:30:01leave me. Jesus Christ, I really need you
- 2:30:02tonight. I'm like, Lord God, you put it
- 2:30:05on my heart. You're moving in and through me
- 2:30:08and you're erasing out of the dark.
- 2:30:10You're the way. You're the truth.
- 2:30:12You're the lie. Lord God, you said you'll never
- 2:30:18leave me. Lord God, you said.
- 2:30:20You'll always see me through. You'll always see me through.
- 2:30:28Lord God, you said you'll never leave me.
- 2:30:31Lord God, you said you'll always see me through.
- 2:30:35You'll always see me through. Yeah.
- 2:30:39You justified the sentence. Me.
- 2:30:41I pray you don't prepare me. Times I remember, I think about
- 2:30:44the penalty. Desires of the heart brought
- 2:30:47rebellion, causing enmity. Lord, you know the truth here.
- 2:30:49Despite who we pretend to be. I'm giving you the enemy.
- 2:30:52This is what it looked like. And This is why I took Christ.
- 2:30:55The one who made a crook life. Forgive me for my idol words.
- 2:30:58Every word I took life. For times I should have stayed
- 2:31:01here. For every step I took life.
- 2:31:03My God ain't desert me. Capsized and mercy baptized and
- 2:31:07hurt me. Yeah.
- 2:31:07I should have died for backsliding curses and capsize
- 2:31:12my purpose. Yeah.
- 2:31:14Lord God, you said you never leave me.
- 2:31:18Lord God, you said you'd always see me through.
- 2:31:22You'd always see me through. Lord God, you said you'd never
- 2:31:29leave me. Lord God, you said you'd always
- 2:31:32see me through. You'd always see me through.
