- 0:05Speaker 1: So we've promised everyone an exciting announcement and I can
- 0:09Speaker 1: tell it's. Look, I don't know if you want to
- 0:13Speaker 1: say this or I should say this, but Paul's getting
- 0:17Speaker 1: replaced by Trevor Long and and it's about time. But
- 0:24Speaker 1: seriously big announcement. I pulled some strings and I sent
- 0:31Speaker 1: over a by d AT O three to the Car
- 0:34Speaker 1: Expert studios in the Docklins and like, honestly, I wish
- 0:40Speaker 1: I filmed it because Paul was out the front and
- 0:43Speaker 1: it was like one of those tiktoks where you buy
- 0:46Speaker 1: your mama car and she's crying, and he was crying,
- 0:52Speaker 1: and he had a stiffy, which was weird, and like
- 0:59Speaker 1: he looked at me and you genuinely said thank you,
- 1:02Speaker 1: thank you so much.
- 1:03Speaker 2: Yes, that's actually precisely what happened, literally down to the stiffy. No,
- 1:10Speaker 2: I did actually finally drive the byd AT O three
- 1:13Speaker 2: and I'm pleased to report that it isn't terrible.
- 1:16Speaker 3: I actually thought it was going to be not great.
- 1:20Speaker 2: No.
- 1:20Speaker 1: No, I discovered you thought it wasn't going to be
- 1:22Speaker 1: great because you weren't invited to the launch. You didn't
- 1:26Speaker 1: get any correspondence from BYD they hate your guts rightly,
- 1:30Speaker 1: So you thought it was going to be crap because
- 1:35Speaker 1: you weren't the first in Australia to drive it, like
- 1:38Speaker 1: neither were you bother.
- 1:43Speaker 2: But yeah, I was actually pretty impressive. I stand by
- 1:46Speaker 2: my comments about the interior. I think those guitar string
- 1:49Speaker 2: things are stupid and the design.
- 1:50Speaker 3: Is just not that great.
- 1:51Speaker 2: But it's put together really well and the materials inside
- 1:54Speaker 2: the cabin are fantastic and for that price you would
- 1:57Speaker 2: never expect it to be as good as it iss
- 2:00Speaker 2: really well. That it is let down by the tires,
- 2:02Speaker 2: I thought they were.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Pretty shitty O the Batman's Yeah.
- 2:05Speaker 2: I mean it's never heard of the brand, all the
- 2:08Speaker 2: tires and you can tell when you drive it. But
- 2:11Speaker 2: outside of that, it actually handles nicely. It's got plenty
- 2:14Speaker 2: of go the charging tech and infrastructure is good.
- 2:18Speaker 3: Yeah. I was really quite impressive.
- 2:20Speaker 2: That so one thing that they're in a bit of
- 2:22Speaker 2: hot water in at the moment, and we really can't
- 2:25Speaker 2: get any answers on this. I realized when we were
- 2:28Speaker 2: reviewing the car that in the middle seat in the
- 2:30Speaker 2: second row there was no tie down point for a
- 2:34Speaker 2: baby seat, and in Australia, if you sell. Generally, if
- 2:38Speaker 2: you sell a five seat vehicle, it has to have
- 2:40Speaker 2: tight downd points for baby seats in all three positions
- 2:43Speaker 2: across the second row. It's the whole reason Honda couldn't
- 2:47Speaker 2: sell the HRV is a five seat or in Australia
- 2:49Speaker 2: because they didn't have tied ouns.
- 2:51Speaker 1: I was going to say, because I'm like, I put
- 2:53Speaker 1: my kid in this car legally, don't worry. Yes, but
- 2:57Speaker 1: I see what you're saying. In the middle seat. So
- 2:59Speaker 1: it's got the middle what do they call it tether points.
- 3:01Speaker 2: For Yeah, so IO fix on the up board seats
- 3:04Speaker 2: and then the top ten points in the three positions,
- 3:08Speaker 2: but this didn't have it in the center. So anyway,
- 3:10Speaker 2: we spoke about it on our video review and you
- 3:13Speaker 2: can check that out on YouTube. And one of the
- 3:17Speaker 2: complications is for them to get a five star safety rating,
- 3:19Speaker 2: they have to have that in Australia. So the car
- 3:22Speaker 2: has been awarded a five star rating everywhere but Australia.
- 3:27Speaker 2: So they're currently working on figuring out how that got
- 3:30Speaker 2: past the authorities because they check all this stuff before
- 3:33Speaker 2: the cars were imported. There is a top ten point
- 3:35Speaker 2: in the middle, but it's very hard to find and
- 3:39Speaker 2: not very accessible, and then part of the rules are
- 3:41Speaker 2: that it is accessible, so they're working on sorting that
- 3:44Speaker 2: out at the moment. But look outside of that, I
- 3:47Speaker 2: genuinely thought the car was pretty good. And while we
- 3:49Speaker 2: had the car, it came with it over the air
- 3:51Speaker 2: update that added maps and Spotify and all this other
- 3:55Speaker 2: stuff to the screen, which I thought was pretty.
- 3:57Speaker 3: Cool as well.
- 3:58Speaker 1: So voice command too.
- 4:00Speaker 3: And voice commands which you really didn't work that well.
- 4:03Speaker 2: I tried calling people and it just wouldn't work because
- 4:07Speaker 2: for some reason their computer joined all the names together.
- 4:11Speaker 2: So when I would call you, know, not that I
- 4:14Speaker 2: ever would call you, but Gaudy.
- 4:15Speaker 3: Waters, it would basically not find you.
- 4:18Speaker 2: And then if I manually went and found you, it
- 4:20Speaker 2: would be Gaudy Waters hard up. I'd have to pronounce
- 4:23Speaker 2: it as one word, probably just a bug.
- 4:26Speaker 1: But you called me four times crying today. So what
- 4:28Speaker 1: did you have to say if you were in your
- 4:29Speaker 1: by d at O three? What would you say? You'd
- 4:32Speaker 1: have to go at O three? Goody words?
- 4:36Speaker 3: Yeah, pretty much, just really fast.
- 4:38Speaker 1: I told you I had to go at this, and
- 4:40Speaker 1: I actually said, hey, Google, say how do you say
- 4:47Speaker 1: at O three? Turn on the air conditioning in Mandarin,
- 4:49Speaker 1: and it worked as you get, as you got Google
- 4:52Speaker 1: say it. Maybe you've just got an annoying voice.
- 4:55Speaker 3: Yes, I think that is part of it.
- 4:57Speaker 2: Or if I said it in Serbian or something, maybe
- 4:59Speaker 2: that would have been better.
- 5:00Speaker 1: I would have loved that. That would be cool. So
- 5:03Speaker 1: b one day, Atto three, we got there. It's good.
- 5:05Speaker 2: It's good, Yeah it is. It is good, and for
- 5:09Speaker 2: the price, it is excellent value for money. I cannot
- 5:12Speaker 2: understand why you would spend an extra I think it's
- 5:17Speaker 2: literally like fifteen or twenty grand for a Nissan Leaf.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Might get an addo three just to piss you off.
- 5:22Speaker 1: And every now and then I'm going to call you
- 5:24Speaker 1: up and I'm just going to play you a song
- 5:26Speaker 1: with my side pocket doors. Hey, Paul, do you like
- 5:33Speaker 1: zz Top?
- 5:36Speaker 3: Yes?
- 5:37Speaker 1: Anyway, enough of the announcements. How are you?
- 5:41Speaker 3: I'm good.
- 5:41Speaker 2: I've just come back from Denmark and Slovenia and Serbia
- 5:48Speaker 2: and Croatia and then Denver just before that.
- 5:50Speaker 1: So and how did your organ harvesting trafficking expedition go?
- 5:57Speaker 2: I tell you what if you thought drivers in Sydney
- 6:00Speaker 2: and Melbourne were bad for a cruise around Serbia because
- 6:04Speaker 2: they are absolute maniacs. I almost got taken out like
- 6:07Speaker 2: three times by people that were probably absolutely maggeted by
- 6:11Speaker 2: the wheel at nighttime. So we are very fortunate in Australia.
- 6:16Speaker 2: The other thing I had to be very careful of
- 6:17Speaker 2: as well. I had to rent a car in Serbia.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Oh they are I shouldn't say this, but some of
- 6:23Speaker 2: them are very dodgy. And I took about a thousand
- 6:26Speaker 2: photos of the car, went to leave and noticed too
- 6:30Speaker 2: like enormous dents in the boot of this car that
- 6:33Speaker 2: I couldn't quite see based on the angle and how
- 6:36Speaker 2: close it was to the wall.
- 6:38Speaker 3: And thankful I noticed them because I when I.
- 6:41Speaker 2: Returned the car, they would have hit my credit card
- 6:44Speaker 2: up for another five grand of fees and damages.
- 6:47Speaker 1: So what was your car of choice in Serbia? Was
- 6:51Speaker 1: it a Nissen cartwheel or a.
- 6:57Speaker 2: It was literally a horse and a cart. You know,
- 7:00Speaker 2: you have little feeding stations. Now. I ended up in
- 7:03Speaker 2: a Mercedes Ben's B Class, which was not as shit
- 7:06Speaker 2: as I thought it was going to be, but you
- 7:08Speaker 2: know what they did, which I just didn't know this
- 7:11Speaker 2: was possible anywhere in the world. I got into the
- 7:13Speaker 2: car and thought, oh, this is great. I'll just hook
- 7:14Speaker 2: up Apple car Play and I'll have nav. They disabled
- 7:18Speaker 2: Apple car Play and Android Auto, so they removed it
- 7:22Speaker 2: from the car for some stupid reason.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Is that Mercedes over there or is that just this
- 7:27Speaker 1: hire company?
- 7:28Speaker 2: No, it was. It must have just been Mercedes over there.
- 7:31Speaker 2: They must and we'll talk about this later in car News.
- 7:33Speaker 2: But maybe they charge a subscription for it or something
- 7:36Speaker 2: like that. It'll be like, you know, fifty dinners per
- 7:41Speaker 2: month or something, which is the local currency.
- 7:43Speaker 3: By the way, you just.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Go into some old heightened throw someone a bag of coins.
- 7:49Speaker 2: I'll tell you what is expensive af though, and that
- 7:51Speaker 2: is Denmark.
- 7:52Speaker 3: Coffee was eight bucks.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Did you try drinking alcohol in Denmark because I think
- 7:57Speaker 1: that's taxed.
- 7:58Speaker 2: Yes, every thing is expensive. And they like bicycles, which
- 8:02Speaker 2: troubles me greatly.
- 8:04Speaker 1: I agree it's good when you hit one, though. Oh
- 8:07Speaker 1: my god, I've got to tell you something, right. I
- 8:10Speaker 1: don't want to name names, but I went into a
- 8:14Speaker 1: very well known classic car dealership. It's iconic. It has
- 8:19Speaker 1: some of the best examples of classic cars in Australia.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Concourse stuff, and their priced accordingly.
- 8:26Speaker 3: Is this car city in Melbourne?
- 8:27Speaker 1: No, no, no, we're not keep your eyes open for
- 8:29Speaker 1: a bargain guy. As two cars that I noticed amongst
- 8:34Speaker 1: the Concourse Classic cars that were in this establishment that
- 8:38Speaker 1: I did not expect to see. One was the Yonda
- 8:42Speaker 1: Ionic five. Wow, and how much do you think they
- 8:45Speaker 1: price that at?
- 8:47Speaker 3: Was it the top pick?
- 8:48Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 8:49Speaker 3: Like ninety grand?
- 8:50Speaker 1: It was that Arctic white YEP one hundred thousand dollars.
- 8:55Speaker 3: Yeah, that's that's very stupid.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Well then I kept walking and guess what else I saw?
- 9:01Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 9:04Speaker 1: A byd Atto three.
- 9:09Speaker 3: What was that doing?
- 9:10Speaker 1: Which is the cheapest electric which is the most affordable
- 9:13Speaker 1: electric car?
- 9:15Speaker 3: Oh no, they've been pipped by MG.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Guess how much they had on Paul's beloved byd Auto three.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Guess how much?
- 9:21Speaker 3: How much? Well it's what forty five thousand dollars.
- 9:25Speaker 1: So now if you maybe fifty, if you were to
- 9:28Speaker 1: walk into this Concourse Classic car dealership, you were going
- 9:34Speaker 1: to pay seventy nine thousand dollars for the three?
- 9:40Speaker 3: Are they insane?
- 9:41Speaker 1: It's like they thought, you know what, it's sitting next
- 9:45Speaker 1: to a one point five million dollar Ferrari and.
- 9:48Speaker 3: Maybe they won't notice.
- 9:49Speaker 1: And the Porsche Spider. Let's let's really up this game,
- 9:54Speaker 1: and let's do seventy nine thousand dollars.
- 9:57Speaker 2: Did you check inside? Maybe it had gold tar strings
- 10:00Speaker 2: in the doors.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Yeah, I believe Slash played them and he said in
- 10:07Speaker 1: guns and Roses set, Hey something else. It's crazy? Is
- 10:11Speaker 1: the the two thousand and two comedore that I saw? Sorry,
- 10:15Speaker 1: I mean the new BMW M two.
- 10:19Speaker 3: You're a bitch, really, am I?
- 10:23Speaker 1: That thing looks like mate, that thing looks like it
- 10:26Speaker 1: was found in one of my kids kin to surprise toys.
- 10:29Speaker 3: You know what's funny? BMW.
- 10:32Speaker 2: They just cause outrage with the design of some of
- 10:35Speaker 2: their cars.
- 10:36Speaker 3: And I remember when.
- 10:36Speaker 2: The M three and the M four came out, people like,
- 10:38Speaker 2: oh my god, it's the ugliest thing ever. I'm never
- 10:41Speaker 2: going to buy one. And now everyone's yeah, now everyone's
- 10:44Speaker 2: come around to it. And I think the M two
- 10:45Speaker 2: was the same. Like when I first saw the leaked pictures,
- 10:48Speaker 2: I was like, I think someone in China just copied
- 10:51Speaker 2: this design and just changed it a little behaved.
- 10:54Speaker 1: BMW from Wish right, Yeah and yeah.
- 10:58Speaker 2: So look I got a chance to see the current
- 11:00Speaker 2: person this week at a dealership opening in Melbourne, and look,
- 11:05Speaker 2: I'm not gonna lie.
- 11:06Speaker 3: I think the color looks terrible.
- 11:08Speaker 2: It's called zan Vort Blue and it's named after a
- 11:10Speaker 2: racetrack in Holland. And it is literally a carbon copy
- 11:14Speaker 2: of the baby blue Hyundai color, which hasn't dated well.
- 11:18Speaker 2: And this hadn't dated well either, even though it was
- 11:20Speaker 2: released a week ago. So I thought the color just
- 11:24Speaker 2: didn't work and it probably didn't accentuate the lines all
- 11:26Speaker 2: that well.
- 11:27Speaker 3: But the same M two.
- 11:29Speaker 2: In red I thought actually looked pretty good, and in
- 11:31Speaker 2: person it has a bit of presence to it, like
- 11:33Speaker 2: it's got some proper width. It'll be one hundred and
- 11:36Speaker 2: twenty grand in Australia, has pretty much the same engine
- 11:39Speaker 2: as the three and the M four. I mean, do
- 11:41Speaker 2: you like at least the fact that it comes potentially
- 11:43Speaker 2: with a six speed manual if you tick that box? Yeah?
- 11:45Speaker 1: Absolutely, And I think I've got nothing against what they're
- 11:49Speaker 1: kidding this out with. Everything looks great in Syria, looks great,
- 11:53Speaker 1: you know, everything standard. But I look at that front
- 11:56Speaker 1: end and honestly, I know people were shocked with the
- 12:00Speaker 1: four when you know, the big pig nose got released
- 12:03Speaker 1: or the lungs or whatever you want to call them.
- 12:05Speaker 1: But I was far more horrified in this because it honestly,
- 12:11Speaker 1: it just looks like remember that phase that HSV went
- 12:14Speaker 1: through when they kind of moved from that kind.
- 12:17Speaker 3: Of Yeah, they did a W four two seven that
- 12:19Speaker 3: looked very blocky like this.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Exactly, and yeah, I just kind of thought, just doesn't
- 12:24Speaker 1: look progressive. It looks shit.
- 12:26Speaker 2: You know. The weird thing is none of their cars
- 12:30Speaker 2: look the same anymore. And if you have a look
- 12:32Speaker 2: at the M two, it looks nothing like an M
- 12:33Speaker 2: three or an M four like, It's totally different in
- 12:36Speaker 2: terms of the design. Looks nothing like the new IC seven,
- 12:39Speaker 2: which has that split head like design. So it is
- 12:42Speaker 2: interesting that they're going with a scatter gun approach and
- 12:45Speaker 2: compare that to Mercedes Bens where everything just looks the
- 12:47Speaker 2: exact same. It is fascinating. That's that's how they're going.
- 12:52Speaker 2: So yeah, if you're listening to this or you can
- 12:54Speaker 2: to see what people think, contact at the Drive show
- 12:57Speaker 2: dot com dot I you that's the drive dot com
- 13:01Speaker 2: dot au. Let us know what you think about the design.
- 13:04Speaker 2: Do you think it is as terrible as Gordy says
- 13:06Speaker 2: or is it actually you know car that you want
- 13:08Speaker 2: to drive.
- 13:09Speaker 1: Look, don't get me wrong, I want to drive it.
- 13:11Speaker 1: And you know and happily, happily be given one long
- 13:14Speaker 1: term BMW.
- 13:16Speaker 3: Yeah, good luck with that.
- 13:18Speaker 1: It's just look, that's that's the beauty. I think of
- 13:21Speaker 1: cars and design like it's very personally. It's it's it's perspective.
- 13:25Speaker 3: Well, let's I think design is very much subjective, and.
- 13:31Speaker 2: You know what, you know, you think you look good
- 13:36Speaker 2: and look Maybe some others or a lot of others
- 13:39Speaker 2: may not agree with that, but you know, it is
- 13:42Speaker 2: what it is.
- 13:43Speaker 1: I got a haircut for this podcast. Actually that's a lie.
- 13:46Speaker 1: I got a haircut because they said to me, hey, god,
- 13:48Speaker 1: you've got a like a photo shoot on Thursday and
- 13:52Speaker 1: photo shoot and I'm like, yeah, how am I going
- 13:54Speaker 1: to lose twenty by Thursday? So I just did it
- 13:58Speaker 1: the old fashioned way. I went down the cross and
- 14:00Speaker 1: got addicted to meth no. I yeah. So, but the
- 14:06Speaker 1: dates kind of got pushed forward. I'm not gonna say why. Basically,
- 14:11Speaker 1: they're just like, can you suck your neck fat in? No,
- 14:14Speaker 1: all right, we'll move this to another month. Lose some weight, jubs.
- 14:18Speaker 3: What was your photo shoot for I'm Talent.
- 14:20Speaker 1: I don't know if you've noticed, but while you're galivanding
- 14:23Speaker 1: around on Channel seven talking of bloody Koshi and frigging
- 14:27Speaker 1: advising him on the best by d to get. I'm
- 14:32Speaker 1: sitting down and talking to a stick and rating number
- 14:36Speaker 1: one baby, rating number one. Hey. Oh, by the way,
- 14:40Speaker 1: do you know I saw Koshi at the MG launch
- 14:44Speaker 1: for the for the for the electric.
- 14:47Speaker 3: How cost effective of him?
- 14:48Speaker 1: He loves MG. He loves it, and I think they
- 14:51Speaker 1: sponsor his his foot?
- 14:53Speaker 2: Is he?
- 14:54Speaker 3: Okay? That makes a lot more sense. Yeah, good for him.
- 14:56Speaker 1: We should talk car news. Something terrible has happened.
- 15:02Speaker 3: What someone told you, you would tell them.
- 15:06Speaker 1: That's it. So some devastating news, my beloved. The key
- 15:11Speaker 1: is Stigga is ceasing production in April twenty twenty three.
- 15:15Speaker 1: It's kind of been speculated. I didn't realize that this
- 15:19Speaker 1: was hard out news. I kind of thought that this
- 15:21Speaker 1: was put to bed about six months ago. But I
- 15:25Speaker 1: guess it's now official that it's ending. And what's the
- 15:31Speaker 1: what's the replacement on this? It's a I guess an electric?
- 15:34Speaker 3: Right? Yeah.
- 15:35Speaker 2: Well, the report just came out from Auto Times of
- 15:37Speaker 2: Korean publication, and there have been rumors for a while,
- 15:40Speaker 2: but they're saying that basically, not only will this sting
- 15:43Speaker 2: be pulled from the Korean market, but they're going to
- 15:45Speaker 2: stop production in April twenty twenty three, which kind of
- 15:48Speaker 2: lines up with product cycle, but I reckon The replacement
- 15:52Speaker 2: is going to be a Sileik electric four door coupe
- 15:57Speaker 2: and it'll be launched in twenty twenty five to the
- 16:00Speaker 2: sports Saedan thing running for Kia.
- 16:03Speaker 3: What do you think about that?
- 16:04Speaker 2: I mean, as a Stinger owner, would you go from
- 16:07Speaker 2: this sort of engaging, raucous petrol thing to an electric
- 16:13Speaker 2: four door coupe instead.
- 16:14Speaker 1: Yeah. Look, it's interesting because I've been looking at selling
- 16:17Speaker 1: that car, even though it's fairly new, and the thing
- 16:20Speaker 1: that's taken me so long to I guess get rid
- 16:25Speaker 1: of it is I can't find anything that I really love,
- 16:29Speaker 1: everything that I kind of hated about it. In the
- 16:31Speaker 1: last couple of months, I've sort of realized that, my god,
- 16:35Speaker 1: this is it's honestly, and I'm saying this subjectively, from
- 16:39Speaker 1: any sort of car like a and I'm looking at
- 16:42Speaker 1: SUVs to replace. I've jumped in BMW's in everything and
- 16:48Speaker 1: in Oudias, and I just I'm genuinely really comfortable in
- 16:53Speaker 1: this car, like it's such as it's just a typically
- 16:56Speaker 1: all round it's a grand tour, it's relaxing, it's still
- 17:00Speaker 1: got a bit of grunt. I mean, it's not gonna
- 17:01Speaker 1: it's it's the noise isn't as great as it should be.
- 17:07Speaker 1: But I cannot, for the life of me, find anything
- 17:12Speaker 1: that just makes me go, get out of this car
- 17:14Speaker 1: and pick up this one, because this is what you need.
- 17:17Speaker 1: The sticker owners like on the what do you call
- 17:19Speaker 1: those owners forums and stuff? Oh, nothing better than a
- 17:22Speaker 1: stringer mite not And I'm just kind of going, this
- 17:27Speaker 1: makes me want to sell my car, genuinely, I'm kind
- 17:29Speaker 1: of going, Well, I can put the kid in the
- 17:31Speaker 1: back quite easily and the dog and take it on.
- 17:34Speaker 1: It's got enough bootspace for a decent road trip, for
- 17:37Speaker 1: refracs and you know whatever. But in terms of the
- 17:39Speaker 1: way it's specked out too, like the tech on it.
- 17:42Speaker 1: I mean, I'd be paying top dollar for that sort
- 17:44Speaker 1: of stuff. Now what am I going to wait for
- 17:47Speaker 1: all that sort of stuff? And I still want to
- 17:49Speaker 1: get rid of it, but it's kind of like what
- 17:52Speaker 1: do I replace it with? I mean, we were thinking
- 17:54Speaker 1: about the model.
- 17:55Speaker 3: Why, I just ye, you're probably not cool enough for that.
- 17:59Speaker 4: I wouldn't eight maint you, we're gonna talk about that
- 18:04Speaker 4: because you have literally bought yourself twenty twenty two's Volvo Wagon.
- 18:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 18:14Speaker 2: I will admit it is incredibly ugly and everyone has
- 18:18Speaker 2: one now and it is so unappealing and not fast,
- 18:22Speaker 2: and I don't know, it is just kind of depressing.
- 18:25Speaker 2: It is literally just a to B transport. There is
- 18:27Speaker 2: nothing interesting about it.
- 18:28Speaker 1: That's right. The bootspace. Don't get me wrong. I mean
- 18:31Speaker 1: that's a two bedroom unit in Sydney.
- 18:33Speaker 3: But it is literally an accountant.
- 18:36Speaker 2: It's like, yeah, okay, you can do stuff that you
- 18:38Speaker 2: know great, but you're just boring. Yeah, sorry to any
- 18:41Speaker 2: accountants out there, but.
- 18:43Speaker 1: Daniel, but it's a weird one. The key Stinger. Would
- 18:50Speaker 1: I drive the electric version?
- 18:52Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 18:52Speaker 1: Probably. I think Yanda and kra Key I've said this
- 18:54Speaker 1: many times. They're just in such a great place. It's
- 18:58Speaker 1: weird because I was driving the I was driving the
- 19:00Speaker 1: ConA in last week. I'm like, what haven't I I
- 19:03Speaker 1: just I think it was because I thought I've driven
- 19:06Speaker 1: everything in you know, the end Division, except the Coner.
- 19:09Speaker 1: Because to me it was just like ridiculous and silly
- 19:13Speaker 1: and just it's just a bonker's car. It looks like
- 19:16Speaker 1: it's come from a kin to surprise and it's you know,
- 19:19Speaker 1: it's roots kind of like that old lady Grandma car
- 19:22Speaker 1: and they've decided to trick it up and stuff like that.
- 19:25Speaker 1: And I sort of thought to myself, God, this is
- 19:28Speaker 1: a ballsy move and it makes no sense why they
- 19:30Speaker 1: did this. And I realized after I drove that car
- 19:33Speaker 1: everything I hated about it initially, I loved about it
- 19:36Speaker 1: because the fact that it makes no sense and you know,
- 19:40Speaker 1: there's there's flaws and stuff in it. It's like it's
- 19:42Speaker 1: such a fun, silly, ballsy decision, you know, and I
- 19:47Speaker 1: love everything about it, and I think, oh yeah, So
- 19:50Speaker 1: to get back to your main sort of point, I
- 19:52Speaker 1: think I would drive whatever Cay is sort of putting
- 19:55Speaker 1: out there. I like their EV six. You were sort
- 19:58Speaker 1: of a bit in two minds.
- 20:00Speaker 3: No, No, I do like it.
- 20:02Speaker 2: I just think that, you know, I just think that
- 20:05Speaker 2: with the EV stuff, they're actually spending a bit more
- 20:08Speaker 2: money on this. They're really going to town on it
- 20:11Speaker 2: because they're using an eight hundred volt system, which is
- 20:14Speaker 2: much more expensive to manufacture, and to manufacture. No one
- 20:17Speaker 2: else is really doing that. So I think from a
- 20:21Speaker 2: just from an engineering point of view, they're actually doing
- 20:23Speaker 2: a really solid job with it, and I'm key to
- 20:26Speaker 2: see what it looks like, what it sounds like, and
- 20:29Speaker 2: how it drives, and how they plan on differentiating it
- 20:32Speaker 2: from the EV six, because I think that'll be important
- 20:34Speaker 2: as well.
- 20:36Speaker 1: I wonder if this will. I've got this habit of
- 20:38Speaker 1: when I sell a car, it always goes up disgustingly
- 20:42Speaker 1: in value.
- 20:44Speaker 2: I think that's going to change pretty soon. Actually, my
- 20:47Speaker 2: brother literally just set me, like ten minutes ago a
- 20:51Speaker 2: text message with a picture of our old Model three Performance.
- 20:55Speaker 2: So it's listed by the dealer that we sold the
- 20:59Speaker 2: car to. I sold the car to them for about
- 21:02Speaker 2: ten grand more than what it's listed now. The k's
- 21:05Speaker 2: haven't gone up at all, so he's been basically sitting
- 21:09Speaker 2: on this thing, bought it at the peak off me,
- 21:11Speaker 2: and cannot get rid of it now. So I think
- 21:13Speaker 2: use car prices are really starting to sharply decline at
- 21:17Speaker 2: the moment.
- 21:17Speaker 1: I remember selling like a bloody two sixty Z to
- 21:21Speaker 1: the Mechanic and it was concourse like I kept this thing.
- 21:25Speaker 1: Anything that went wrong, you know, I fixed it, and
- 21:28Speaker 1: I remember selling it to him for like six and
- 21:30Speaker 1: a half grand and think to himself, well, I made
- 21:32Speaker 1: five hundred bucks more than I perved for it. I
- 21:35Speaker 1: looked on car sales the other day because I thought,
- 21:38Speaker 1: I want that car back, and for that sort of
- 21:41Speaker 1: car in that condition, it's a minimum of seventy k.
- 21:46Speaker 2: Yeah, it's ridiculous anyway, So the stinger no longer.
- 21:52Speaker 1: It's yeah, look, it is what it is. It's going
- 21:54Speaker 1: to happen, right.
- 21:55Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly, it was bound to happen eventually.
- 21:57Speaker 1: All right. Move into BMW is an interesting move because
- 22:01Speaker 1: one of their heads have come out and said, hydrogen
- 22:03Speaker 1: is the next big it. Girl, it's the it's the
- 22:07Speaker 1: next big hooh. I'm a fan of this. I'm a
- 22:09Speaker 1: fan of hydrogen stuff. I was saying to you off
- 22:12Speaker 1: air that I saw some of the hydrogen cars at
- 22:15Speaker 1: Yen Day's HQ the Nexso.
- 22:18Speaker 3: Yeah, next. So that's the like suv type thing.
- 22:21Speaker 1: Ugly and expensive. It's expensive technology and it's expensive to make.
- 22:26Speaker 1: And I don't think they actually sell these. They sort
- 22:28Speaker 1: of drive them around and do experiments and stuff and
- 22:30Speaker 1: then they they donate.
- 22:32Speaker 2: They sold some to councils in Canberra, right, Actually they
- 22:36Speaker 2: sold a whole stack to the government.
- 22:37Speaker 1: That's right. Yeah, and then they're also known to donate
- 22:40Speaker 1: them to universities.
- 22:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:42Speaker 2: Hydrogen's interesting because and BMW actually has a good point
- 22:47Speaker 2: with this. They're saying that by locking ourselves into just
- 22:51Speaker 2: electric cars, it could present an issue in the future
- 22:54Speaker 2: because you're relying on all these rare minerals and unless
- 22:58Speaker 2: technology significantly improves in in batteries, which it probably will,
- 23:01Speaker 2: you're still going to lock yourself into evs. So what
- 23:04Speaker 2: they're suggesting is that they will continue working on.
- 23:06Speaker 3: Hydrogen in the background.
- 23:08Speaker 2: The reason hydrogen isn't as efficient as something like an
- 23:14Speaker 2: electric car is because to produce hydrogen.
- 23:16Speaker 3: You have to use electricity.
- 23:18Speaker 2: You then have to store the hydrogen, transport it to
- 23:20Speaker 2: a filling station, and then use energy to plummet into
- 23:23Speaker 2: a car.
- 23:24Speaker 3: And within the car, you then have a.
- 23:26Speaker 2: Multi step process to convert that hydrogen into electricity that
- 23:30Speaker 2: you can run.
- 23:31Speaker 3: Electric motors with.
- 23:32Speaker 2: So there are a lot of efficiency losses during that
- 23:34Speaker 2: process because with an EV all you're doing is creating
- 23:36Speaker 2: the electricity, sending it down a transmission line, and then
- 23:40Speaker 2: pushing it into a car into a car's battery. So
- 23:43Speaker 2: it is a simpler process, but ultimately, if you have
- 23:46Speaker 2: a look at the business model of petrol stations around
- 23:49Speaker 2: the world at the moment, if you rock up to
- 23:51Speaker 2: a petrol station, they might get ten cars through a
- 23:54Speaker 2: bowser an hour at a busy time, and each of
- 23:57Speaker 2: those ten cars is taking fuel, they're paying per they're
- 24:00Speaker 2: going inside the store, they're spending money, Whereas with an
- 24:03Speaker 2: EV at the moment, even if you put the fastest
- 24:05Speaker 2: charges you have available, if you drive there, you're going
- 24:08Speaker 2: to sit your car there for twenty to thirty minutes
- 24:10Speaker 2: at least, You're then only going to get one or
- 24:12Speaker 2: two people through a bowser every hour, and that is
- 24:16Speaker 2: a whole lot less money than you were actually making
- 24:19Speaker 2: with fuel. So if you look at these companies, they're
- 24:22Speaker 2: the companies that are going to be pushing hydrogen as well.
- 24:24Speaker 2: Because they can charge per leader. The government can then
- 24:26Speaker 2: get in on that as well, in charge per leaders.
- 24:28Speaker 2: So I think there's still a lot of industry pressure
- 24:31Speaker 2: on hydrogen to work, and we will definitely see it
- 24:34Speaker 2: in commercial I just don't know whether we'll actually see
- 24:36Speaker 2: it in passenger vehicles in the future.
- 24:38Speaker 1: As you said, it is early technology, and with this
- 24:41Speaker 1: sort of stuff, as time goes on, this stuff becomes
- 24:44Speaker 1: cheaper and more accessible. So I mean electric cars weren't
- 24:46Speaker 1: always cheap to manufacture. I mean they're still not even
- 24:50Speaker 1: to buy now, they're still on the expensive side. They're
- 24:52Speaker 1: probably to me, there's still quite expensive.
- 24:56Speaker 3: They're expensive.
- 24:57Speaker 1: Yeah, I really do hope that hydrogen takes off, especially
- 25:00Speaker 1: for both passenger and sort of commercial trucking and whatnot.
- 25:03Speaker 1: I think it's got I think it's definitely got its place.
- 25:05Speaker 1: As you said, like god, you can you can fill
- 25:08Speaker 1: up a hydrogen passenger car in about three minutes.
- 25:11Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly.
- 25:11Speaker 2: It's a much quicker process, and it's now safe enough
- 25:15Speaker 2: as well to use within passenger vehicles. So yeah, I
- 25:18Speaker 2: really don't see the issue with it from that front.
- 25:21Speaker 2: It's just the efficiency of it just doesn't stack up
- 25:23Speaker 2: in comparison to an EV.
- 25:25Speaker 1: Should we talk about today's car review the.
- 25:28Speaker 5: Twenty twenty three Coupra Leon and carp Perform mental prices
- 25:32Speaker 5: stuck from forty three thousand, nine hundred and ninety dollars
- 25:35Speaker 5: for the Leon and fifty thousand, six hundred and ninety
- 25:38Speaker 5: dollars for the for Mentor.
- 25:39Speaker 1: All right, so Cooper Leon, Coopra Form WEINSA. I thought
- 25:42Speaker 1: we'd mix these both in one because I mean obviously
- 25:45Speaker 1: different cars, but basically a bit of backstory. Coopra is
- 25:50Speaker 1: correcting me if I'm wrong, Paul, But Coopra is basically
- 25:53Speaker 1: the Spanish cousin in the Volkswagen Group, this sporty, kind
- 25:57Speaker 1: of little pocket from Spain. They've kind of put these
- 26:01Speaker 1: this brand together. It's I kind of like it. It's exciting,
- 26:04Speaker 1: it was cool to watch.
- 26:05Speaker 2: Well, it's it's actually just very quickly. It's a it's
- 26:08Speaker 2: a startup and I use that term in inverted commas
- 26:12Speaker 2: because it's a startup with enormous backing from the Volkswagen Group,
- 26:16Speaker 2: but it is virtually a brand new brand that they
- 26:18Speaker 2: are starting up from scratch, so it is really fresh
- 26:21Speaker 2: and new in that sense.
- 26:24Speaker 1: Always correcting me, Yeah, someone has to, someone has to.
- 26:28Speaker 3: Yeah, you've got to keep you honest. If it's not me,
- 26:31Speaker 3: it'll be Trev.
- 26:31Speaker 1: He's not answering my calls anymore. Oh my picks Corp.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Really on this competes I guess with the Golf GTI
- 26:40Speaker 1: or the Golf ah I reckon even the young day
- 26:44Speaker 1: I thirty in. I'm going to put that out there
- 26:46Speaker 1: as well. Entry cost looking at about fifty three K.
- 26:50Speaker 1: The one I had was the top spec the ZX
- 26:53Speaker 1: for about sixty one thousand dollars. That is an expensive
- 26:57Speaker 1: pot hatch. Two hundred and twenty one killer. What's four
- 26:59Speaker 1: hundred and new meters of talk two lead four cylinder
- 27:02Speaker 1: turbo sitting on volkswagens. What is it? The NQB platform.
- 27:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean it's if you want to picture this
- 27:11Speaker 2: in terms of power output, it sits between the golf
- 27:14Speaker 2: GTI and the golfer in Australia, and it's the same
- 27:18Speaker 2: tune that they use for the GTI club sport in
- 27:20Speaker 2: Europe that we don't get in Australia.
- 27:21Speaker 1: We don't get that here. No could Performanta fifty one
- 27:25Speaker 1: thousand entry sixty one thousand and four ninety four the
- 27:28Speaker 1: vs X two hundred similar kind of numbers, to be honest,
- 27:31Speaker 1: two hundred and twenty eight killer? What's four hundred meters?
- 27:34Speaker 1: Is it? The same two lider turbo?
- 27:36Speaker 3: Yeah? I mean this is the thing.
- 27:38Speaker 2: They try and share a lot of the components here
- 27:42Speaker 2: as much as they possibly can because you get cost
- 27:45Speaker 2: efficiencies and all that sort of stuff. So this one
- 27:48Speaker 2: is it's basically it's aligned with the S three sport
- 27:53Speaker 2: back in Sedan.
- 27:54Speaker 3: So it's the EA triple eight engine.
- 27:57Speaker 2: So I mean it is actually a really good in
- 28:00Speaker 2: those Audi products and here as well.
- 28:02Speaker 3: It kind of does the same thing.
- 28:04Speaker 1: Seven speed, you'll clutch, all will drive. So yeah, I
- 28:07Speaker 1: guess we're talking of hot hatch and what a mid
- 28:09Speaker 1: hot suv pretty much.
- 28:11Speaker 2: I think it actually looks looks awesome as well. The
- 28:14Speaker 2: one that we had through our office had the Matte
- 28:16Speaker 2: paint finish on it.
- 28:17Speaker 3: The gold highlights. They definitely turn some heads.
- 28:20Speaker 2: And I don't know if that's just because they're new
- 28:22Speaker 2: to Australia, but I mean zero to one hundred and
- 28:24Speaker 2: under five seconds. That foremena, the VSX is pretty sort
- 28:27Speaker 2: of hot stuff when it comes to performance figures as well.
- 28:31Speaker 1: It looks fantastic. Yeah, that sort of frosted blue, the
- 28:34Speaker 1: copper highlights on the wheels, the lights look very bad.
- 28:37Speaker 1: The whole car kind of looks a bit. Both of
- 28:39Speaker 1: them look very kind of batman esque. Well, I love
- 28:42Speaker 1: the way it looks. What are your thoughts on styling?
- 28:44Speaker 3: Yeah, look, I think styling looks great.
- 28:46Speaker 2: That Matte paint finishes pretty reasonably priced to twenty three
- 28:49Speaker 2: hundred bucks, especially when you compare it to the premium
- 28:52Speaker 2: paint at full seventy five, I think it's matte paint
- 28:54Speaker 2: is typically quite expensive.
- 28:56Speaker 3: I'm also.
- 28:58Speaker 2: Fascinated that you can get this Rainbow break package for
- 29:01Speaker 2: four grand on the VSX only. I think that is
- 29:05Speaker 2: I think that just signals the performance intentions and yeah, look,
- 29:09Speaker 2: I'll be interested to see how this goes.
- 29:11Speaker 3: Obviously it'll be slow to start.
- 29:13Speaker 2: With, and at the moment, with the market being so
- 29:16Speaker 2: you know, stretched with supply, I think that they'll probably
- 29:19Speaker 2: sell a few to start with, simply because people just
- 29:22Speaker 2: don't have any options. They'll just buy whatever they can
- 29:24Speaker 2: get their hands on. But to be fair, Volkswagen has
- 29:27Speaker 2: built the Scoto brand in Australia from nothing and that's
- 29:29Speaker 2: actually doing some pretty decent numbers at the moment. So
- 29:32Speaker 2: I think if they are committed to this, and they
- 29:34Speaker 2: stay in this and keep running with it, this should
- 29:37Speaker 2: actually have some success in Australia. I just hope they
- 29:40Speaker 2: don't do what Infinity did, which is just try it
- 29:43Speaker 2: and then realize it's not working and just go oh, yeah,
- 29:45Speaker 2: we're just out of here, and not really give it
- 29:47Speaker 2: the proper chance it deserves.
- 29:49Speaker 1: Yeah, that's right. It herea looks great. Blue seats you
- 29:51Speaker 1: don't get blue seats these days.
- 29:53Speaker 3: Yeah, I think there's a reason for that.
- 29:55Speaker 1: I like it, to be honest, I hated it in pictures.
- 29:58Speaker 1: It comes across in the press as just like this. Yeah,
- 30:02Speaker 1: it's kind of dirty blue. It doesn't look great at all,
- 30:05Speaker 1: but once you're in it, it looks really cool. It's
- 30:08Speaker 1: got sort of generally everything you need. The ball string
- 30:10Speaker 1: is great, you know. The ride in the Leon, I
- 30:13Speaker 1: will say, is very direct to the and very raw,
- 30:18Speaker 1: to the point where it's almost is this uncomfortable or
- 30:22Speaker 1: is that my hemorrhoids kicking and what's going on? Yeah? Yeah,
- 30:27Speaker 1: it's very it's very firm, but I think it's kitted
- 30:31Speaker 1: out well. I think it drives great, It handles great.
- 30:33Speaker 1: The raw side you kind of go the fact that
- 30:36Speaker 1: you can feel everything in this car. Is it worth
- 30:38Speaker 1: sixty four thousand dollars?
- 30:40Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean some people like that type of thing,
- 30:43Speaker 2: and I think if it is a sports car, you
- 30:45Speaker 2: can kind of get away with it.
- 30:46Speaker 3: But yeah, it is.
- 30:49Speaker 2: It is tough to you know, to win at everything,
- 30:53Speaker 2: and I think that they obviously need to differentiate this
- 30:55Speaker 2: as well. I mean the GTI is very soft and
- 30:58Speaker 2: perfect daily. If this was the same, there would just
- 31:01Speaker 2: be no point buying a GTI. I mean it has
- 31:03Speaker 2: more a little bit more poke, but it's really not
- 31:06Speaker 2: enough to justify, you know, going for a brand that
- 31:08Speaker 2: isn't as established in Australia. So I think ultimately they
- 31:12Speaker 2: had to differentiate it somehow and that is the way
- 31:15Speaker 2: it doing it.
- 31:16Speaker 3: I do like the fact that you know, in terms.
- 31:18Speaker 2: Of warranty and stuff, five year unlimited kilometer warranty, you
- 31:23Speaker 2: get three years of free servicing, they're kind of giving
- 31:26Speaker 2: you as much incentive as they can to get you
- 31:28Speaker 2: into the cars.
- 31:29Speaker 1: One thing I will say is, I reckon there's a
- 31:31Speaker 1: design flaw in their charges. I swear to God right.
- 31:34Speaker 1: Wireless charging is on an angle in both these cars,
- 31:37Speaker 1: and I want you to test it to make sure
- 31:40Speaker 1: it's not just me right when you get these back
- 31:42Speaker 1: in your HQ whatever. So with the iPhone, there's obviously
- 31:46Speaker 1: a little bit of a notch that comes out with
- 31:49Speaker 1: the cameras. Yeah, a little bit of a growth similar
- 31:52Speaker 1: to the one that's on Paul's penis.
- 31:56Speaker 3: So that is my penis.
- 32:00Speaker 1: That didn't call your showed in high school for nothing.
- 32:03Speaker 1: So the problem is is because of that, because of
- 32:07Speaker 1: that chode that sits on your iPhone, when you put
- 32:10Speaker 1: it in wireless charging, it actually like it doesn't fully
- 32:14Speaker 1: connect with its back. Yeah, it doesn't fully connect with
- 32:16Speaker 1: the charger. So what's going to happen is it cuts
- 32:19Speaker 1: in and out all the time and you're getting that
- 32:21Speaker 1: warning on the screen.
- 32:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 32:23Speaker 2: I've had that in other cars as well, where the
- 32:26Speaker 2: notch prevents it from gripping onto the tabs and it
- 32:28Speaker 2: moves around everywhere.
- 32:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 32:30Speaker 2: It is a very shit designed by Apple. I've got
- 32:33Speaker 2: to say, like they're masters in electronics and then they
- 32:36Speaker 2: sell this phone with this ridiculous camera system sticking out
- 32:40Speaker 2: in the back.
- 32:41Speaker 3: I just think it is the dumbest thing I've ever seen.
- 32:44Speaker 3: They're still bought the phone, but.
- 32:45Speaker 2: I just want to make it clear that it's shit
- 32:47Speaker 2: design and it's now functionally affecting the way this stuff works.
- 32:51Speaker 2: And the reason it's affecting it is because with inductive charging,
- 32:54Speaker 2: the bigger the air gap between the charger and the device,
- 32:57Speaker 2: the less current.
- 32:58Speaker 3: You can get through. And when you create that notch,
- 33:01Speaker 3: you create an air gap.
- 33:02Speaker 2: And they have a low fault tolerance on cars and
- 33:05Speaker 2: sorry to keep you up and and basically that that
- 33:08Speaker 2: basically makes it drop in and out.
- 33:10Speaker 3: So anyway, that's.
- 33:13Speaker 1: All of the engineers listening out there. They just it's
- 33:17Speaker 1: about four engineers with bonus. Do you know what sucks
- 33:22Speaker 1: on this car though? Is the bloody goes right across
- 33:25Speaker 1: the range in the Volkswagen group. I think it's an
- 33:27Speaker 1: eleven point four inch infotainment display. It takes a while
- 33:32Speaker 1: to get used to it, and I still think once
- 33:34Speaker 1: I got used to it, I still hated it was
- 33:36Speaker 1: the one the volume which is kind of yes, what's
- 33:38Speaker 1: it called helot touch or something coptic touch, So it
- 33:42Speaker 1: works with the volume, and it also happens to be
- 33:45Speaker 1: with the air con as well the climate control. And
- 33:48Speaker 1: it's just like they're obviously trying to get that minimalistic
- 33:53Speaker 1: kind of vibe going in the car, but I don't
- 33:56Speaker 1: think they're I don't think they're ready for that.
- 33:57Speaker 3: Jolly yep, I agree.
- 33:59Speaker 2: I think that stuff's Italy and I really don't like
- 34:01Speaker 2: it in Volkswagen and go to products that they just
- 34:03Speaker 2: need physical knobs in there to adjust.
- 34:07Speaker 1: I guess all around this is I think it's an
- 34:08Speaker 1: exciting car. I think it drives great, handles great, there's
- 34:12Speaker 1: definitely no issues with that sort of stuff.
- 34:15Speaker 2: Yeah, a lot of the new brands we've had in
- 34:16Speaker 2: Australia recently, or all Chinese brands, so it's refreshing to
- 34:19Speaker 2: see someone else try and enter the market, which often
- 34:23Speaker 2: doesn't happen here.
- 34:24Speaker 1: I kind of think these are on the expensive side.
- 34:27Speaker 3: Yes, definitely.
- 34:28Speaker 2: I think they are pretty expensive, and I think that
- 34:30Speaker 2: could be a bit of a challenge because ultimately, you know,
- 34:35Speaker 2: it's a brand new brand, you want to get people
- 34:36Speaker 2: into it, and by hitting them straight up with an
- 34:39Speaker 2: expensive car, it is going to limit how many people
- 34:42Speaker 2: decide to do it. And like I said before, you'll
- 34:44Speaker 2: kind of have artificial sales figures now because these all
- 34:48Speaker 2: be available and people will know they can jump into
- 34:51Speaker 2: a car and get it quickly. But will it be
- 34:53Speaker 2: the same in two or three years time once they've
- 34:55Speaker 2: been on the market for a while.
- 34:56Speaker 1: Buy list or flick if you look looking at let's
- 35:00Speaker 1: say the fullmntal, which is the popular one. I know
- 35:02Speaker 1: a lot of people will be listening to this because
- 35:04Speaker 1: they're looking into the FORMENTTA. I think quick backtrack on
- 35:07Speaker 1: the Leon, I actually think that's a great car. It's excellent.
- 35:11Speaker 1: In fact, the biggest problem is that with it is
- 35:13Speaker 1: the sixty four thousand dollars price tag. But if we
- 35:15Speaker 1: look at the foromena in itself, this for me, I
- 35:19Speaker 1: was really hoping to love this, and it reminded me
- 35:21Speaker 1: of a typical Audi SQ model where I was let
- 35:24Speaker 1: down a little bit. Yeah, I don't think it was
- 35:26Speaker 1: roomy enough you would expect. I just think with the
- 35:29Speaker 1: wireless charging that pissed me off as well, just bits.
- 35:33Speaker 1: There's little things where I kind of go, if you're
- 35:35Speaker 1: putting sixty five k on this, I want that fix,
- 35:38Speaker 1: I want that sorted.
- 35:39Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, look, I don't know. I would test drive it.
- 35:42Speaker 3: And that's the thing.
- 35:42Speaker 2: If you're desperate for an SUV and you need one now,
- 35:45Speaker 2: you're probably not going to have too much of a
- 35:46Speaker 2: choice in it, right. But yeah, I'll be curious to
- 35:49Speaker 2: see how this fares over the next six to twelve
- 35:51Speaker 2: months and whether they get the traction that they're hoping
- 35:54Speaker 2: for in Australia because they've spent a lot of money
- 35:55Speaker 2: launching it.
- 35:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I think definitely listed check it out because it
- 35:58Speaker 1: sounds great, it looks great, it does drive great, But yeah,
- 36:02Speaker 1: This is going to have to be a passion project,
- 36:04Speaker 1: you know what I mean.
- 36:05Speaker 3: Yeah, well, let's see how it goes.
- 36:07Speaker 1: Ah, we're both sick, m yuck, yucky. Yeah. Your online
- 36:15Speaker 1: content has been a bit interesting lately. I watched you
- 36:18Speaker 1: for Witch Channels on your personal one. I watched your
- 36:23Speaker 1: two minute story if you're filming a kidnap and you're
- 36:26Speaker 1: heavily breathing, going oh yeah, look, how cute it is
- 36:31Speaker 1: a look at that, look at that, look at so cute. Yeah.
- 36:36Speaker 1: Then there was another one where I don't know, you're
- 36:38Speaker 1: in fucking Borneo or something and there's a squirrel and again,
- 36:42Speaker 1: oh look.
- 36:46Speaker 3: Look it's an animal hour ship.
- 36:51Speaker 1: Bloody hell, Paul's trying to remake the movie Bambi doesn't
- 36:57Speaker 1: Baby get shot yeah by Joe Rogan and then he
- 37:01Speaker 1: uses it as venison and then talks about talks about
- 37:06Speaker 1: it on his podcast. I'm not shitting on you, Joe Rogan,
- 37:09Speaker 1: please please, We've got enough issues, Daniel. So yeah, anyway.
