- 0:00There's a very predominant male presence who refuses to give us his name.
- 0:08He likes to give fake names.
- 0:10Oh, okay.
- 0:11He won't be like demon vibes.
- 0:14Yeah, like kind of fun.
- 0:15But he's probably not that cool.
- 0:17What the thing is, he wants us to believe that he's a demon.
- 0:22But we know he's not.
- 0:24That's one of the really funny things.
- 0:26He just, he knows that he isn't, but he is just like, I am big, tough man.
- 0:32We don't like those living or dead.
- 0:34Yep.
- 0:35Hi, Caitlyn.
- 0:39Hi, Cassie.
- 0:41Hi, creepy people.
- 0:42Hello.
- 0:45This is PNW Haunts and Homicides, where we chat about true crime, the paranormal, and all
- 0:49things spooky in the Pacific Northwest.
- 0:53It's PNW, if you're nice, Dan.
- 0:55We've already established that we are, and you are.
- 1:01So I hear listening.
- 1:02Presumably.
- 1:03Or you are stumbling across the first time and you're very confused.
- 1:08And for that, we will not apologize.
- 1:12We also do a tarot reading at the end of every episode for a little bit of deeper insight
- 1:17into our topic.
- 1:18Yeah, hey, do you like tarot?
- 1:20Stay.
- 1:21Like us.
- 1:23So we have a creepy people Chronicles episode for you today, which is stories from our listeners,
- 1:34stories from sometimes me, but surprise this one's not all about me this time.
- 1:39What?
- 1:40I know, I know.
- 1:41Darn it.
- 1:42Right?
- 1:43Well, it's kind of semi about me, but like only a little bit.
- 1:46Oh, okay.
- 1:47Okay, so we have a couple stories that I left out of the Delaney House episode from Vicki
- 1:54and Zoe.
- 1:56So Vicki had a story of, do you remember the mediums that she was talking about Maggie
- 2:02and Sherry that came to visit?
- 2:05And I'm saying, do you remember?
- 2:06I'm kind of talking to you and to the audience because she didn't mention them in the episode.
- 2:11Okay.
- 2:12So Vicki has stories from the couple of mediums that visit all the time and do paranormal
- 2:17investigations there.
- 2:18It's the Delaney House.
- 2:20She has a story involving them.
- 2:24There is a story where Maggie and Sherry had gotten kind of a message when they were going
- 2:31to leave one night and they were said, next time you come, they sit out there.
- 2:37Next time you come sit and bring a third chair and they went, oh, specials going to come,
- 2:44you know.
- 2:45Next time they came, they sat out there, you know, they worked in the house and did their
- 2:50normal investigation, but they would go out there and they had that chair.
- 2:53They're all evening and nobody ever sat in it and they thought, I wonder why.
- 2:59And then a friend of mine called and said, you know, my husband and I would like to come
- 3:03and spend the night on the way to California is it okay.
- 3:06And so I asked them and they said, yeah, it's okay.
- 3:09We're going to be leaving.
- 3:10We're not going to be here all night.
- 3:11Okay.
- 3:12So my friend shows up and she went out there and she had a question.
- 3:15For them about clearing a space of negative energy and they said, well, it was in another
- 3:21state and they said, no, we really don't know anybody.
- 3:24Why?
- 3:25And then Maggie said to Sherry, well, tell them about that time 13 years ago that you were
- 3:31in, well, it's quarterly night of hell.
- 3:34So she said, well, we were on a trip.
- 3:37We stayed, you know, we needed a place to stop and have dinner.
- 3:40We retired.
- 3:41So we stopped and we started eating at this Chinese restaurant.
- 3:45And my friend was crying and they're like, are you okay?
- 3:49And I stepped outside right at that moment and said, what's going on?
- 3:53And she, you know, they got them telling her that and she goes, all I heard was Chasta,
- 3:59stop.
- 4:00Chasta, no.
- 4:01Chasta, how should she get hearing this and Sherry was going out Chasta?
- 4:06What?
- 4:07What are you talking about?
- 4:08And she said, I'm sorry, but you're too loud.
- 4:10I'm going to go outside and eat because I can't eat.
- 4:12I'm screaming in my ear.
- 4:15Oh, and so she went outside and that was the end of it, you know.
- 4:19So here we are 13 years later.
- 4:21She's telling the story and my friend is crying and my friend said, well, that was my family's
- 4:27Chinese restaurant.
- 4:29My family that was murdered by a serial killer and the youngest daughter, Chasta, was the
- 4:34only one who survived.
- 4:36Yes, I know this story.
- 4:39So she said, all I wanted to do was literally have someone go to this, to the place where
- 4:47it happened and tell the mother that we were sorry.
- 4:51When we went to the funeral, the two children were still missing.
- 4:56They went to the funeral for the oldest son and the boyfriend and the mother and her brother
- 5:04who it was his kids no longer lived there anymore.
- 5:08And they just wanted to say they were sorry because they thought that she had been, it had been
- 5:13some bad friends of hers or something had happened that was her fault.
- 5:18And they said, we just want her to know that we are sorry because we never in a million
- 5:23years thought, you know, that it was that, you know, that it was a serial killer.
- 5:28You know, we just thought there's something about it happened.
- 5:32And the ladies were sitting here and they went, she knows.
- 5:37This was somehow facilitated by my spirits.
- 5:43My friend came here all the time and would sit out there in that corner.
- 5:48And every time she'd come, she'd sit all night.
- 5:50She's kind of a night owl.
- 5:51She'd sit there all night.
- 5:53And just, you know, the perfect spot.
- 5:55The perfect night and listen to the owls and, you know, just enjoy herself.
- 5:59And she often saw someone walking through the, you know, on the porch and stuff at night.
- 6:04Oh, wow.
- 6:05Oh, I just feel like the whole story kind of came to a point where they reached out.
- 6:12And it was her nephew who was one of the boys that was killed.
- 6:18He was the one who wanted to, you know, wanted to reach out and knew that his aunt was suffering.
- 6:23And it was okay.
- 6:25Everybody knows that you guys are sorry.
- 6:27So that was almost the moment where I really believed a lot more than I ever had been before.
- 6:34Because how would they know?
- 6:37Yeah.
- 6:38Right.
- 6:39There's just, there's just no way.
- 6:40Yeah.
- 6:41So, and it was just so we just so far apart from us ever meeting any of us ever meeting.
- 6:45So.
- 6:46Wow.
- 6:47And then we have another story from Zoe who was the paranormal investigator that we talked
- 6:55to who works at Ghost of the Grand.
- 6:58Yeah.
- 6:59And she has a story about an entity or something negative that hangs around.
- 7:07I think, I think she said in the basement, we'll hear the story.
- 7:10We'll hear it directly from Zoe.
- 7:11So she can tell us.
- 7:13I'm so excited to hear all of these things that I was there for, but have no memory of and
- 7:20didn't hear and absorb in real time.
- 7:23Yeah.
- 7:24And I don't know where you were for the interview as Zoe.
- 7:26You weren't there, but I don't know if you had lingered in the background at all or I think
- 7:31I might have been in the kitchen.
- 7:33I think at that point, Vicki was making me tea.
- 7:37Oh, yes.
- 7:38Oh, yes.
- 7:39Oh, so sweet.
- 7:40There's a lot of activity in the basement.
- 7:44There's a lot of women in the basement, surprisingly.
- 7:49I've kind of raised my heart.
- 7:51There's a lot of women's spirits in the basement.
- 7:54There's some children down there and there's a very predominant male presence who refuses
- 8:00to give us his name and it pisses me off because there's been multiple people that have
- 8:07gone to the grand.
- 8:09And every single one that I've seen at least has come across him and he likes to give fake
- 8:16names.
- 8:17Oh, okay.
- 8:18He won't.
- 8:19Like demon vibes.
- 8:20Yeah.
- 8:21Kind of.
- 8:22It's probably not that cool, but the thing is it's like he wants us to believe that he's
- 8:28a demon, but we know he's not.
- 8:32That's one of the really funny things.
- 8:34We just we know that he isn't, but he's just like, I am big, tough man.
- 8:40We don't like those living or dead.
- 8:42Yeah.
- 8:43Yeah, there is a reason why he is the one spirit down there that I will take a little page
- 8:50that I've spoken to.
- 8:52Because he's like, if you were actually demon, you would have possessed me right now.
- 8:56Yeah.
- 8:57It's funny because he does he does like to manipulate the temperature in the basement.
- 9:01Oh, okay.
- 9:02Like does he make it hot?
- 9:03He makes it very hot in rooms down there, which you know, it's it's a basement in 125
- 9:10years old.
- 9:11There's no heating down there.
- 9:13Yeah.
- 9:14There's no heating.
- 9:15There's no heaters down there.
- 9:16There is the original furnace of the building down there, but that is not operational.
- 9:21Does he come with a sulfury smell?
- 9:23Are we sure he's not a demon?
- 9:25Yeah.
- 9:26No.
- 9:27A lot of people attribute making rooms hotter with demons.
- 9:30Uh-huh.
- 9:31That's what I've heard.
- 9:32Yeah.
- 9:33But from everything that we've been able to tell, he's not a demon.
- 9:36I feel like he just did his research and not so pleased trying to think it until he
- 9:40makes it.
- 9:41Yeah.
- 9:42He likes to swear at people.
- 9:52He likes to touch women, especially and appropriately.
- 9:56Oh.
- 9:57Yeah.
- 9:58I have a lot of experiences with him.
- 9:59He's called me bitch on our spirit box one time called for.
- 10:00I wish that we had it on film because I would share it because it is it's one of the funniest
- 10:02things to me because it is such it's such a time bringing people down into the basement
- 10:08that I've just met and immediately hearing bitch as I'm talking about him.
- 10:16That is not cool.
- 10:17I'm sorry.
- 10:18I find it hilarious personally.
- 10:20Yeah.
- 10:21People have been like, oh, that is so horrible.
- 10:23It's like, yeah, I'm used to it with him though.
- 10:26That's the thing.
- 10:27I just think I am a bitch.
- 10:28So what?
- 10:29Yeah.
- 10:30I'm a bitch to him specifically.
- 10:31So, you know, it's maybe that's his way of just greeting you now.
- 10:35He's like, that's not bad.
- 10:37He likes to try and take control of the situation.
- 10:39I think he doesn't like that I'm not scared of him.
- 10:42Right.
- 10:43Like a strong woman.
- 10:44Yeah.
- 10:45So I'm going to pin it women.
- 10:46Yeah.
- 10:47I've never been afraid down there ever and usually spirits like that, especially ones who
- 10:54in life were very like controlling men.
- 10:59They especially hated in death if you're not afraid.
- 11:03Oh, yeah.
- 11:04I like, I just want to go there so bad.
- 11:06Is this in the basement?
- 11:07Yeah, it's in the basement.
- 11:08That's where you lock people down.
- 11:10Like you do lock ins and the basement.
- 11:11We bring people down there and we bring our supplies and we have a rampant.
- 11:18We have I think two rampads.
- 11:21We have a spirit box.
- 11:22We have EVPs that we give people and we have a little spirit chat box where it's like a
- 11:30spirit box, but it's basically like a dictionary.
- 11:34It's a whole library of words where energy can be manipulated to the point where it brings
- 11:39up specific words.
- 11:40Is it like the the novelist?
- 11:42Yeah, it's like an office.
- 11:44Got it.
- 11:45And do you get a lot of activity?
- 11:47Oh, so much.
- 11:49They they've been really excited ever since we brought in the spirit chat box.
- 11:54They love that thing so much.
- 11:57So much so that we don't really get anything on our actual spirit boxes really anymore.
- 12:03They are so preoccupied with like picking their words.
- 12:07Yeah, and I think they like that it's a lot more specific for them.
- 12:11That is so cool.
- 12:12Yeah, because with a spirit box, you know, they have to go through channels and pick out
- 12:20words from those.
- 12:21Yeah, whereas with this is they can just.
- 12:24They pick out what word they want with how they manipulate it.
- 12:29In theory.
- 12:30Yeah.
- 12:31In theory.
- 12:32Right.
- 12:33You know, we kind of know how these things work.
- 12:35It's because they're in this podcast.
- 12:37We understand, but I will clarify in theory because unfortunately, we only understand so much
- 12:46about how our instruments work right scientifically.
- 12:50But we're always trying to understand and I mean the most the thing I think we're all trying
- 12:55to do is just gather as much evidence as possible.
- 12:57We're not saying like this is totally evidence of a ghost, but we're just trying to gather
- 13:03as much evidence as possible to try to understand the other side.
- 13:07So yeah, we're investigating repair normal investigators.
- 13:10Exactly.
- 13:11That's what investigation is.
- 13:12It's just trying to understand.
- 13:14Yeah, look and try to understand.
- 13:17I love glancing over and just seeing the flashlights on.
- 13:20The flashlights on.
- 13:21It's so funny.
- 13:22I know I kind of forgot to pay attention to them, but oh, thank you.
- 13:25Yeah, thank you.
- 13:26Thanks for playing with us.
- 13:27That's so much fun.
- 13:28Adding to the conversation.
- 13:30Honestly, I've never run into anything that I've been genuinely afraid of or genuinely think
- 13:40would bring me like absolute harm.
- 13:43I can't say for certain if the bad man would want to, he probably would try and harm me if
- 13:50he could, but he can't.
- 13:53You're too protected.
- 13:54Yeah, and that is a really important thing is if you ever go paranormal investigating,
- 14:00remember, please use protections.
- 14:04Use protection, everybody.
- 14:07Use protection.
- 14:08You just have a black tourmaline on you or visualize a white shield around you before
- 14:16you go into.
- 14:17That's a really good one.
- 14:19I like to use visualization, but I also, I forgot to today, just because I knew they
- 14:24coming into here, this is not a place with any negative energy that I really need to shield
- 14:28myself from.
- 14:30So I was like, I don't need to go all out, but I use perfume with intention.
- 14:34Oh, that's genius.
- 14:36Yeah, because it's easy.
- 14:38Yeah, it's just really easy.
- 14:40And it's something that people can do every day, really, too, just like before they go
- 14:44outside, you know, a lot of people like wear like perfumes or cologne.
- 14:48So it's just like doing that and like setting your intentions.
- 14:52Yeah.
- 14:53And a little cello night stone or something and like, yeah, but just the intention though,
- 14:57like, just weave a little magic into your life, I think it helps.
- 15:01Yeah, it is.
- 15:04I don't think it got mentioned in the ghosts of the Delaney House episode because spoiler alert,
- 15:10there might be more.
- 15:11But I don't think it got mentioned that Chelsea, who runs ghosts of the grand, hooked us up
- 15:17with Fiki at the Delaney House.
- 15:19Yes, she did.
- 15:21She hooked us up with phone numbers and like set this whole thing up for us to come and
- 15:26tour it and hang out and do the interviews.
- 15:29I'm telling ya.
- 15:30Yeah, unfortunately she couldn't be there that day, but we're going to have her on probably
- 15:35at some other point and we're going to be visiting ghosts of the grand very soon.
- 15:41Yes, we are.
- 15:42Stay tuned for that.
- 15:44I'm just saying good things come from Chelsea's.
- 15:48So we got an email, someone finally emailed us a story.
- 15:56After we say that, threatening you guys, someone finally emailed you say that, but we got
- 16:03another email and I might read a part of it in the episode where I take their case suggestion.
- 16:13We got an email from a very important creepy person, a VICP.
- 16:19I'm not going to lie.
- 16:20I kind of like that.
- 16:22I do.
- 16:23VICP.
- 16:24And I don't know if you know this, but I will tell you why she is a VICP.
- 16:29Okay, please do.
- 16:31We got an email from Judy about the Delaney House.
- 16:35She says in her title Delaney House, question mark, question mark.
- 16:40So she listened to the episode immediately and was like, I have a story.
- 16:43Excellent.
- 16:44By the way, we met at Nightmare Factory.
- 16:48No, we didn't, Judy.
- 16:50Well, you kind of did.
- 16:53Do you remember the button face video?
- 16:55Yes, that's Judy.
- 16:57That was Judy.
- 16:58That was Judy.
- 16:59Okay, Judy.
- 17:00So we've kind of unofficially met.
- 17:02So Judy invited both of us, but kind of already knowing that Caitlin wouldn't want to
- 17:08go to the haunted house called the Nightmare Factory.
- 17:10She sat the Oregon School for the Deaf and Salem Oregon.
- 17:14We invited Caitlin.
- 17:15She was like, I'm busy that day.
- 17:19You know, I was there in the year.
- 17:23Right.
- 17:24So I brought my friend Michelle with me and we had a blast going through.
- 17:29We were the only ones in there.
- 17:32We got to go through alone and Judy was nice enough.
- 17:35And oh my gosh, and all the actors were just so nice enough to just let us take, I mean,
- 17:41we tried not to take too much time, but we took a little time looking at everything because
- 17:45they worked so hard.
- 17:47Of course, putting it all together and it's so beautifully decorated.
- 17:50So we just took our time in there, you know, wandering around all scared looking at everything,
- 17:57you know, getting distracted, looking at something and then getting scared.
- 18:00So that made the jump scares like even better.
- 18:03So yeah, it was so much fun.
- 18:06And I gosh, I did felt I feel bad sometimes because we were just really looking at things.
- 18:11And I was like, man, I'm sure the actors want to get out of here.
- 18:14They're like, get these people out.
- 18:18We want to go home.
- 18:20I don't know.
- 18:21It's a passion project.
- 18:24I hope they had fun because we had just a ton of fun just hanging out there and getting
- 18:29scared and hanging out with Judy.
- 18:32There was one point where she was at the beginning and then she met us like in another part and
- 18:39she was doing the scare monster thing.
- 18:42And it had a little mishap and we have a video of it that I'll probably put it together
- 18:46a little video for Patreon, just like a little bonus.
- 18:50Something happened with the thing with the scare.
- 18:55And so we were just cracking up laughing.
- 18:57I was like, one of the rules is you can't touch anything.
- 19:02You know, outer respects, you don't mess anything up.
- 19:05But I fell off of the scare.
- 19:07And I was like, I would like pick it up, but I get like, can't because I'm not supposed
- 19:11to touch anything.
- 19:12Oh no.
- 19:13And then she came out and it was Judy.
- 19:16And so we were cracking up.
- 19:17So that was pretty funny.
- 19:19And then she kind of walked around with us for a little bit, pointing out a couple little
- 19:23things here and there.
- 19:24And then it was a really good time.
- 19:26I love that.
- 19:28It would have been too scary for you though.
- 19:29I think you would, I don't think you would have, you would like to do like the lights on tour.
- 19:35Oh, yeah.
- 19:37Yeah.
- 19:38Like that's it.
- 19:39So you could see all the details and things.
- 19:41But yeah, or maybe it lights like in the dark tour, but like no scares.
- 19:48No dress maybe.
- 19:49Oh, yeah.
- 19:50I like that too.
- 19:51Maybe we'll have to set something like that up for you someday.
- 19:53Yeah.
- 19:54One of these days.
- 19:55Everybody who has access to these things that will make me not never sleep again.
- 20:03Or pee or pants.
- 20:05Yeah.
- 20:06Also peeing my pants now on my bucket list.
- 20:08Okay.
- 20:09So we get a little backstory here from Judy.
- 20:13I met my now husband, her, his daughter and my son, both age five.
- 20:16Oh, it's a kindergarten, right?
- 20:18kindergarten?
- 20:19Yeah.
- 20:20The two childless people trying to guess what age kids go to school.
- 20:27What age grades are kindergarten and then like high school wishes.
- 20:32Ages.
- 20:33I, I can guess that anywhere in between really.
- 20:38That's a crap shoot.
- 20:40Yep.
- 20:41They went to the same babysitter.
- 20:44So I knew the mom of his daughter before I knew him.
- 20:47Oh, okay.
- 20:48You know, my ex, so it all feels complicated.
- 20:51Michigan Kelly just bringing that back.
- 20:54She asked me one day to go pick her ex up in the next town over and bring him over to move
- 21:01in with her because she was having a nervous breakdown and needed her ex husband to move in
- 21:05with them.
- 21:06That's an interesting request, but okay.
- 21:08Okay.
- 21:09I did that, which, you know, you're so helpful.
- 21:12You're such a helpful person.
- 21:14Like go pick up my ex in the next town.
- 21:16I'm sure maybe she actually.
- 21:17Yeah.
- 21:18I, I hope so.
- 21:20I really hope so.
- 21:22I did that and that's the first time I met him and I feel like it was like a Taylor Swift
- 21:28sparks fly situation.
- 21:32Hmm.
- 21:33After the ex wife had recovered a little bit and was ready for him to move on.
- 21:39I told him I needed somebody to move onto the farm and help take care of my son and also
- 21:44take care of the farm.
- 21:46I thought she was going to say it also.
- 21:47Take care of me.
- 21:48Yeah.
- 21:49My downstairs business.
- 21:53The farmland.
- 21:54If you know what I mean, I hope you don't mind our dirty.
- 21:58We kind of, I kind of know, I feel like I know Judy a little bit.
- 22:02So I feel like we can make a little joke.
- 22:04Judy, I feel like at this point in your listenership is not, right?
- 22:08Yeah.
- 22:09If you're not acquainted with the, the dick jokes then and our very juvenile humor, I just,
- 22:16I'm sorry.
- 22:17I'm sorry.
- 22:18I'm sorry.
- 22:19Is that still a thing people say?
- 22:22We said it earlier.
- 22:23Yeah.
- 22:24I'm still a literal sorry.
- 22:26Maybe.
- 22:27But we can move on and finish our story for her.
- 22:31After he moved on to the farm as just a roommate, taking care of things since I worked and
- 22:36he didn't, oh, that's very nice.
- 22:38That's like so convenient to put the man to work at the home.
- 22:41We just, we talked about that.
- 22:42Put the men in the kitchen.
- 22:43Yeah.
- 22:44Literally.
- 22:45Dad.
- 22:47We all noticed that the ghost sounds that my son and I would hear didn't happen when he
- 22:52was around.
- 22:53Oh, I could explain away the steps on the stairs since the house was built in 1876 and this
- 23:00was about 1997 when it all started happening.
- 23:04So old house makes sounds very old.
- 23:06Absolutely.
- 23:07Or maybe they were footsteps.
- 23:09I couldn't explain away the crashing sound in my bedroom that turned out to be absolutely
- 23:14nothing when he was not home.
- 23:17I don't like that.
- 23:18Okay.
- 23:19So the sounds were like happening when he wasn't there and when he was there.
- 23:23Yeah.
- 23:24They deceased.
- 23:25So they have a misogynist ghost.
- 23:27Maybe.
- 23:28That night I decided not to leave the couch until he got home to check everything out, which
- 23:32I totally understand.
- 23:33Yeah.
- 23:34That's fair.
- 23:35So time went on.
- 23:37The kids got older and they would always hear things happen when my roommate was not
- 23:42around.
- 23:43The house burned down in 2002 and we worked on building a new house.
- 23:47I'm so sorry.
- 23:48That is like, oh, I feel like you just casually threw that in there.
- 23:54Oh, that gave me chills though.
- 23:56Wow.
- 23:57I was married to someone else at the time.
- 24:00So I had the farm nanny, his daughter, my son and my husband all living in this big farm
- 24:08house.
- 24:09So farm nanny is the roommate who's a huge husband.
- 24:16Okay.
- 24:17So that makes sense.
- 24:19But it's like, it's like multi, well, I guess I want to say like multi generation or multi
- 24:25family.
- 24:26That's their kid.
- 24:27Yeah.
- 24:28Multi family is the right way to say that I think.
- 24:30Yeah.
- 24:31It's farm nanny and his daughter and then yeah, Judy, her husband and their kids.
- 24:37Yeah.
- 24:38Two families and one multi family.
- 24:40You know, that's that's exactly what it is.
- 24:42And I mean, it's a big farm house, right?
- 24:44So it seems seems legit seems like it.
- 24:47So we get the house finished and my husband at the time, right?
- 24:50Because our house burned down and all those people were living in it.
- 24:54Oh, is that oh my gosh.
- 24:56Okay.
- 24:57They were finishing a new house.
- 24:59And my husband at the time, well, he had some issues of his own.
- 25:03He was a drug addict as well as verbally abusive, mentally abusive and really didn't help much
- 25:09at all when we were building the house.
- 25:11Well, that is.
- 25:12Oh, well, that's rude.
- 25:14That's shitty.
- 25:15I'm sorry to go through that.
- 25:17I'm glad you have what it sounds like other people around you to help.
- 25:20So yeah.
- 25:21Oh, it sounds okay.
- 25:24Sorry.
- 25:25This sounds like like just, you know, when it rains at pours type of situation because it
- 25:30keeps going.
- 25:32My dad died a little after we had finished the house.
- 25:36My kids would say they heard things and would say that they knew it was grandpa.
- 25:41Oh, it's like sad and heartwarming at the same time.
- 25:47They would just ask grandpa to be quiet and all was fine.
- 25:53Just call my grandpa.
- 25:54We're trying to focus.
- 25:56Keep it down.
- 25:57We're trying to fall asleep.
- 25:58Well, that is so sweet that they're not even scared because they were just like, it's
- 26:02grandpa.
- 26:03It's grandpa, obviously.
- 26:06We were just talking about how ghosts should be that scary because they're just people.
- 26:10They're just us.
- 26:11Yeah.
- 26:12Soon after I ended up divorcing that husband and years later, I ended up marrying the roommate
- 26:21to the farm, Danny.
- 26:23Oh.
- 26:24Her farm.
- 26:25Okay.
- 26:26I had to stop myself.
- 26:29I was like, boy, bye.
- 26:31Hello, new farm boy.
- 26:33Oh, it was her princess, fine farm boy.
- 26:38And he would say as you wish to her every time she needed something down in the farm.
- 26:42And that's just how it is in my head.
- 26:43And you can't, Judy, please don't tell me otherwise.
- 26:45Yeah.
- 26:46Listen, usually we are all about reporting the facts, but if those aren't the facts, we want
- 26:52to report false news.
- 26:55I can't handle the truth.
- 26:57So I'm going to clip that for me saying we report false news and put it all over TikTok.
- 27:03And like, you know what people are going to do, people, they think they're going to do.
- 27:10What are you going to do?
- 27:12So this is how things kept going.
- 27:14I'd hear things even after the kids moved out, but not if my new husband was there.
- 27:20Everything was always quiet.
- 27:21So he was like, maybe like a shield.
- 27:24He's like a protector.
- 27:25Oh, you know what, though, that kind of makes sense because think about all the things that
- 27:31used to happen in the old department.
- 27:34Hmm.
- 27:35And a lot of it happened when Chris wasn't there.
- 27:38Oh, I never brought this up to anybody.
- 27:41But finally, I said something in a forum online and a friend of mine messaged me that lives
- 27:48a thousand miles away.
- 27:50But we had visited just a little while before that.
- 27:54So they keep in touch on the forum.
- 27:57It reminds me kind of of me and you and like, like, more of a fan group.
- 28:02That's so funny.
- 28:03I was thinking kind of the same.
- 28:05I'm like, just friends are, yeah, it's our post on there and was like, oh my gosh, I just
- 28:10saw you and like, this is happening.
- 28:12That would be kind of crazy.
- 28:13Yeah, it would.
- 28:14You have to like, take that as some sort of a sign, I think.
- 28:19She has said that she always hears voices and always sees things.
- 28:25And when my husband was there, everything was quiet.
- 28:28So this person was also experiencing the same things in the house.
- 28:32Oh my gosh.
- 28:33That's very validating.
- 28:35Yeah.
- 28:36I felt that finally somebody else saw what I was seeing and my husband was kind of amazed
- 28:42at it as well.
- 28:43Okay.
- 28:44So making the husband believe is a huge milestone in life.
- 28:48Yeah.
- 28:49In the paranormal world or making the like spouse believe.
- 28:54Yeah.
- 28:55You're goddamn right it is.
- 28:57And we're breaking them down every goddamn day.
- 29:00Chasin on the way.
- 29:02Fast forward maybe 10 years.
- 29:04We went to Virginia City in Nevada.
- 29:06That's confusing.
- 29:07That is very confusing.
- 29:08And I don't like it.
- 29:10I'm not going to lie.
- 29:11We're not going to like to see there because.
- 29:13Okay.
- 29:14Great.
- 29:15Virginia City in Nevada and visited the McKay mansion there that is haunted.
- 29:21Mm hmm.
- 29:22So we went inside and I was talking to the guy that had just captured some growls on his
- 29:26phone.
- 29:28And I was listening to what he had in his recordings.
- 29:32Zach Beggins had been there a couple of weeks earlier by the way.
- 29:37So you walked where Zach Beggins walked in the footsteps.
- 29:42You the jerk off motion.
- 29:46We talk about love hate, love hate, love hate.
- 29:49It's the ratio swings hard in one direction.
- 29:53I'm on a hard 50/50.
- 29:54You can't break me either way.
- 29:56It's a hard 50/50.
- 29:59A little later someone walked up to my husband and asked when he was leaving.
- 30:04All the activity stopped when he came in.
- 30:07So I think they're asking like, hey, can you get out of here so we can like experience
- 30:11some paranormal activity please?
- 30:14Oh my God.
- 30:15So either he's so scary that the ghosts are afraid of him or he's a protector, which I'm
- 30:22leading protector.
- 30:23I mean, or or or my first theory, which was that they are misogynist ghosts and they're
- 30:30just like, we don't want to behave badly towards females in front of another man.
- 30:37That's true.
- 30:38And if Zach Beggins was just there, they're probably like, man, he was like, oh, no.
- 30:46Where's the bagel bite?
- 30:47That's kind of funny though that they were like, okay, when does the sky leaving?
- 30:51Yeah.
- 30:52They're like, cause ain't nothing happening.
- 30:55So we left soon after that.
- 30:57They got man, they got kicked out of the ghost place.
- 30:59That's hilarious.
- 31:01You got kicked out because you are ghost.
- 31:05Right tonight.
- 31:09Yes, literally.
- 31:10So maybe you need to bring him with you.
- 31:13That's what I might not be.
- 31:14I'm like not to be inappropriate with other people's husbands, but why I borrow you.
- 31:22Like also like we can all hang out together.
- 31:24I'm not trying to make it weird.
- 31:26Yeah.
- 31:27Right.
- 31:28I just I really potentially need some ghost.
- 31:32Right tonight.
- 31:35So we're fast forwarding again to November 17th, 2019.
- 31:40Ooh, right before all hell war blues.
- 31:46Right before the, the great panini.
- 31:50Yeah, the great panini.
- 31:51Yeah.
- 31:52Remember the before times?
- 31:54Oh, we were invited to a party, which was probably the last party you attended for very
- 31:59long time.
- 32:00Oh, no.
- 32:01Oh, oh boy.
- 32:04I hope you went because it was about to be a very long, long time.
- 32:09Oh, it sounds like they went.
- 32:11So we were invited to a party with our hot friends at the Delaney House.
- 32:18Sound familiar, which they own.
- 32:21So Vicki, I'm assuming I can't remember when Vicki said that they took ownership of
- 32:26the house.
- 32:27So it was either Vicki or the previous owner.
- 32:30No, they've had it.
- 32:31They've had it for longer than that.
- 32:33I had known that she was inviting a tarot card reader and a paranormal investigation team
- 32:38to her haunted house.
- 32:40They start investigating outside of the house on the back porch, the wrap around porch,
- 32:46the wrap around porch.
- 32:47Why, what they do that?
- 32:49Because it's cool out there.
- 32:51Nice and pretty.
- 32:52I do love a wrap around porch.
- 32:55They have a tablet with the Xbox Connect SLS camera attached to it.
- 33:00So they're getting figures, like stick figures on the screen, which is basically, I was just
- 33:04about to say what an SLS camera, but it shows stick figures based, like it tries to find
- 33:11a human shape.
- 33:12Okay.
- 33:13And then it makes it look like a stick figure.
- 33:15Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 33:16That, okay, that's exactly what it was picturing when you say SLS camera.
- 33:21Yeah.
- 33:22I got confused when they said something about Xbox and I was like, I don't play video
- 33:25games.
- 33:26Yeah, but it's not a video game.
- 33:28It's like the ghost catching machine.
- 33:30Okay.
- 33:31All right.
- 33:32Good.
- 33:33Because I was going to phone a friend's phone.
- 33:34I'm the friend you phone for ghost info.
- 33:37Well, sure, but for video games stuff, I was going to, oh, yes, yeah, I was going to phone
- 33:42probably my husband.
- 33:43Yeah, he would be the better knowledge.
- 33:46Yeah.
- 33:47Yes.
- 33:48You're, you're there was just one and it was on the back porch.
- 33:52They found one stick figure on the back porch.
- 33:54I want to wear on the back porch.
- 33:57I want to wear those specifically where in the wrap around was the figure.
- 34:02Where as soon as he comes out, this stick figure becomes a massive number of lines just
- 34:10squiggly.
- 34:11And it disappears.
- 34:13No, thank you.
- 34:14Ooh, like a squiggly monster.
- 34:16I don't know why that is creeping me out.
- 34:19Yeah.
- 34:20At that point, my husband said, well, I know everybody else always believed, but now I believe
- 34:26to.
- 34:27We go to the Delaney house often, but now if there's ghost hunting happening, hubby doesn't
- 34:33come.
- 34:34Because he now he believes that now he's scared.
- 34:37Okay.
- 34:38So actually, he's maybe he's more like me than we thought.
- 34:42Okay.
- 34:43Yeah.
- 34:44Sorry.
- 34:45It took him to see a stick figure turn into a massive amount of squiggly lines.
- 34:51Yeah.
- 34:52I've never seen that happen before.
- 34:53I've seen a lot of ghost hunting footage.
- 34:56Yeah.
- 34:57And I'm not going to lie to you guys.
- 35:00I'm feeling suddenly like I need a potty break.
- 35:06The last line says, Judy.
- 35:09Okay.
- 35:10You may pee now.
- 35:13Judy, your name made her pee herself.
- 35:17Judy.
- 35:18Judy.
- 35:19Judy.
- 35:20Judy.
- 35:21Judy.
- 35:22Judy.
- 35:23We are pulling a moon oracle card for Judy and her story because we like to do the moon
- 35:37oracle just to switch it up.
- 35:38So we're not always doing tarot for everything.
- 35:42And they're just generally very positive cards.
- 35:46And I'm already sending Judy a mini tarot reading for inviting us to the haunted house.
- 35:53And for sending us a story.
- 35:55So you're going to get those little extra stickers and things because hello, we send out
- 36:01stickers for stories.
- 36:03We bribe you.
- 36:04Yeah.
- 36:05If you didn't know that.
- 36:06Yeah.
- 36:07Just like to send people things.
- 36:08Honestly, I do have some stamps that I'm dying to use.
- 36:13They're a little off season, but you know, you got some stories.
- 36:17I still have the Manatee stamps.
- 36:19I really really like to buy random weird stamps.
- 36:23Sometimes I'll use a stand a stamp in the middle of summer.
- 36:25You don't know what you're going to get with that.
- 36:27You really don't.
- 36:28I just want to send people stuff with cute stamps.
- 36:31I know me too.
- 36:33We like to put stickers all over it.
- 36:36Yeah.
- 36:37You can get our signatures.
- 36:39You can probably do our identity.
- 36:42I support the USPS and the PNW H&H.
- 36:49And this your story so we can support the USPS and use the stamps to send you stickers.
- 36:55We're doing our part.
- 36:57Are you?
- 36:58Okay.
- 36:59So I'm going to put my mic down so I can put the cards to my chesticles, my heart.
- 37:04And we're going to feel out of card together me in Caitlin.
- 37:07She's going to send me her energy to my fingertips.
- 37:11There it is.
- 37:14It's an owl.
- 37:17It's just so full.
- 37:18We got a little fuzzy owl.
- 37:22It's the cute one.
- 37:23It looks like a baby.
- 37:24I don't know if it's a baby owl but it looks like a little baby fuzzy owl.
- 37:27They look like a baby.
- 37:30And there's a, it's interesting because it's nighttime but there's a bee.
- 37:35Yeah.
- 37:36It does look like a bee.
- 37:37Is it a mosquito?
- 37:38I don't see a nose.
- 37:40I feel like that looks like a bee.
- 37:43Soulful.
- 37:44I feel like Judy is pretty soulful.
- 37:47I'm hung out with her a little bit and she was very like, you know, in the character.
- 37:51I mean, you saw her in character.
- 37:53They actually did.
- 37:55Yeah.
- 37:56That's pretty funny.
- 37:57So the quote, it says, "Happiness resides not in possessions and not in gold happiness
- 38:03dwells in the soul."
- 38:05I love that.
- 38:06That's so sweet.
- 38:07I just feel like, I feel like I get that vibe from Judy.
- 38:10I don't know.
- 38:11Maybe she's not like that.
- 38:12Judy, you can tell us.
- 38:15I don't know where that will I matter for, like, you know, a couple minutes.
- 38:18But I feel like I got that vibe.
- 38:20Feeling depth and journey for the keywords.
- 38:26Your soul is the spiritual part of your being.
- 38:29Look closely into the mirror of your inner most existence.
- 38:33And you will find your deepest,
- 38:35rast most authentic thoughts and feelings each memory.
- 38:39Oh.
- 38:40Whoa.
- 38:40Whoa.
- 38:44Okay, I was trying to focus on reading.
- 38:46Okay.
- 38:46Okay.
- 38:47And then I realized I look at it for some reason.
- 38:49My eyes when I read don't want to go where they're supposed to.
- 38:53And sometimes they look all around the page.
- 38:55And that's why I struck the reading.
- 38:57But I looked at the very top of the page and there's a fire, a flame in her house,
- 39:03burnt down.
- 39:04Oh, no.
- 39:06Do you remember that?
- 39:06But then I felt like it kind of in the thing I was like, oh, she kind of just dropped
- 39:11this in like casually in one sentence.
- 39:13But I'm sure, you know, that's a huge life thing.
- 39:15Like it wasn't casual.
- 39:17Oh my gosh.
- 39:18And it's not like enormous.
- 39:19It seemed like she took it just very well.
- 39:21Like rebuilt a new home and like just restarted and same with having, you know,
- 39:27a bad, difficult marriage.
- 39:29Yeah.
- 39:30You just have to.
- 39:31I mean, my God, either of those things is a lot journey.
- 39:35Yeah.
- 39:36Feeling depth, the journey, like all of those things were in her story for sure.
- 39:43Oh, okay.
- 39:44I can't even remember where I'm at because I'll just like,
- 39:46for now, each memory and experience that as part of your soul is safely tucked away inside of you.
- 39:53Light the sparks in your soul.
- 39:56Be carefree.
- 39:57Let your colors dance wildly around you.
- 40:00Dig deep in your garden will flourish and bloom endlessly.
- 40:05Oh, it is so sweet.
- 40:07Your own soul journey is very personal.
- 40:11Protect your internal soulful powers.
- 40:14You are the keeper of them.
- 40:15Remember, you are a wondrous soulful being who knows you best of all.
- 40:22So it's saying you know you best of all.
- 40:24Is that what it's saying?
- 40:24I mean, that's.
- 40:26I know.
- 40:26Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 40:27You are the keeper of your, yeah.
- 40:29That's so sweet.
- 40:31I definitely get, yeah, I get this whole vibe from her.
- 40:33I know I said that, but it just all makes sense to me.
- 40:37There is an intention at the ball.
- 40:40Oh, okay.
- 40:42Well, we, we got to know, let your magical light glow around you.
- 40:47Soft star dust will dance like fireflies in the wondrous twilight sky.
- 40:53Oh my gosh.
- 40:55So pretty.
- 40:56I love that.
- 40:58Gosh, I really just like, I'm so curious about the beat.
- 41:02Yeah.
- 41:03What do bees do at night?
- 41:05Like now I need to go on a whole rabbit hole and like,
- 41:07debuts our bees out at night.
- 41:10What's the symbolism of the beauty?
- 41:12I'm like, does a bee connect with you?
- 41:15I really want to know if the beer and I'll connect with you and we'll post a picture of the card.
- 41:19Okay.
- 41:20So I could be totally crazy when me the first name.
- 41:24Probably are.
- 41:24You know, but it says most bees are inactive and remain in their hive to rest and process
- 41:36collected nectar into honey, tend to the brood and perform hive maintenance tasks like cleaning and ventilation.
- 41:45At night time.
- 41:46Bees are, I'm not sure that I'm going to say this right.
- 41:51Diurnal, meaning they are active during the day and they use the night to recover from foraging,
- 41:58ensuring a well functioning colony for the next day's activities.
- 42:03Yeah, which is like opposite of an owl, which is not eternal.
- 42:06Yeah.
- 42:08So I kind of think that feels symbolic in this case though.
- 42:14I'm just, I'm just going to give this like totally my own.
- 42:19I love it.
- 42:19Been an interpretation on this.
- 42:21But like, if, if you're like living on a farm and you have, you know, this person that you are partnered with,
- 42:30like think about how Judy described her, you know, previous marriage and that partnership and what that must have been like,
- 42:40particularly as someone who is trying to raise children, having a partner that like, you are literally kind of like you are,
- 42:51you're like going through the motions.
- 42:53You are a busy bee.
- 42:57Trying to hold it all together.
- 42:59So like seeing kind of like those contrasting imagery in terms of, of the animals and thinking about the,
- 43:11what I have to imagine are very stark contrast in terms of her relationship, relationships.
- 43:18I can't speak for Judy, but like to me, it makes sense in a way that it's like, it's these very disparate times in your life.
- 43:27Yeah.
- 43:28I'll go out on a limb and say that, you know, I have had at various points in my life times where I have in various relationship dynamics.
- 43:39I have, you know, been close to people that are dealing with active addiction and the way that you are moving through the world.
- 43:49And your everyday life is so different from how you are moving when you are, you know, interacting with people that are living in, you know, a healthy way.
- 44:00And that comes from not a place of, you know, judgment, but just these are the facts.
- 44:08And you're just grappling with something that is so big.
- 44:12Yeah.
- 44:14In those situations and it's like shrouded in darkness like it feels like very symbolic.
- 44:20Dude, okay, I'm sorry.
- 44:23It's Taylor Swift.
- 44:24I'm so sorry.
- 44:25Like not sorry.
- 44:27Is this not the song Opalite?
- 44:30Where this guy was on X in the now, Opalite.
- 44:37I don't know exactly.
- 44:39But yeah, I feel like Judy is the Opalite.
- 44:43Like she wanted, she wanted to be like the busy bee like during the day time and like had to make her own light and
- 44:50full full.
- 44:52I think that what makes a lot of us have like a soulful vibe or gives us depth as people are the experiences that can be very dark.
- 45:07And for better or for worse, you know, those experiences, I think in a lot of cases allow us to have empathy for other people.
- 45:18Yeah.
- 45:19Oh, and I kind of like, I sort of like I think I said it once the nightmare factory.
- 45:25It's at the Oregon School of the Deaf, but Judy 100% no sign language, which I don't know like any sign language.
- 45:33So I'm like trying to communicate with people and we're not speaking the same language.
- 45:37And Judy was just like right there to translate.
- 45:41Yeah.
- 45:42And so I was just like, oh my gosh.
- 45:43And then just like to do sign language, like I feel like you have to feel it.
- 45:47Like you have to be soulful.
- 45:49Like you can't.
- 45:50Yeah.
- 45:51You have to like feel the what you're saying.
- 45:53I think for it to come across, right?
- 45:55I mean, I could be totally wrong.
- 45:57But on it, honestly, the physicality of a language, particularly ASL is, I mean, I can't necessarily speak from experience, but I mean, just tremendous because you are expressing everything through these literally non verbal, you know, hand signals and.
- 46:24It's interesting to see how expressive you know, people are when they are signing and I find that like.
- 46:34I feel like there are so many things that we all stay day to day that we just sort of, it's like these throw away phrases and I feel like.
- 46:44And, and you know, maybe once you have been signing for years and years, there's a certain amount of, you know, law they fare that just sort of happens over time, but I just feel like what I perceive from the outside just it's very expressive language because it is by virtue non verbal.
- 47:05In the sense that it's not, you know, it's not auditory.
- 47:09It's beautiful to watch too. I really is. I just like watch it and on like try to absorb as much as I can. I'm not like great at it, but it is interesting too because at the end she was signing with someone who was in a bowl mask and like.
- 47:25You could even see even though they're wearing a mask like you can tell like they're expressing it's those how they feel yeah expressions on things that like you pick up on and even just hand movements.
- 47:40But it really is it's so many little things and I think people don't realize and one thing that I feel like particularly actually researching for our show that I have picked up on at a level that is like so much more intense and in depth, then, you know what I innately feel like I understood.
- 48:05The prior at least was it's wild how much your body gives away like even people that are stone cold killers like the amount of non verbal cues that you give away like and you don't have to be enough.
- 48:27You have to be a serial killer or anything like this happens in everyday communication. People can realize that like, oh, I'm picking up on this person's uncomfortable or you know, I mean, it could just be a little white lie but people pick up on brain.
- 48:44Yes, it very much is I find it so fascinating. I find it so fascinating. Judy, you have to let us know if any of that means anything to like please immediately DM me on Instagram.
- 48:59It meant a lot to us. You were recording for almost two hours tonight and.
- 49:07And have a free.
- 49:14I am going to what was it horse and I'm a drive in. Yeah, I'm so excited. There will be photos.
- 49:32Day two. Keep tuned. Just keep tuned. Creep tuned. Oh, I like that. Creep tuned.
- 49:45So am I am I reading some of these or no. Oh, I just I never know what you for this. I just you just sit over there and.
- 49:58Okay, I just never know what we're doing. So, but I never know what she's doing.
- 50:07The mate loves.
- 50:12Well, we don't have any meatloaf today. Unfortunately, nope. I would not do anything for love and I won't do that.
- 50:22Famous meatloaf lyrics.
- 50:25What will you do? I know what it is.
- 50:32It's.
- 50:35(laughs)
