- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey, it's Mark Simone. Welcome to the bonus segment for
- 0:03Speaker 1: all of you podcast listeners. We love the fact that
- 0:06Speaker 1: you listening to the podcast every weekend. Bonus segment. So
- 0:11Speaker 1: Kathy Hokeel while she was asked about elis Stephonic and
- 0:15Speaker 1: she's got a pretty good lead over Stefanic in the polls,
- 0:18Speaker 1: although Stefanic keeps arising, but still Hokel has like a
- 0:23Speaker 1: twenty point lead. But she was asked about Bruce Blakeman,
- 0:26Speaker 1: who is definitely looking at running. He hasn't decided yet.
- 0:29Speaker 1: He's going to go tour upstate to get a feel
- 0:31Speaker 1: for things. But asked about him, Now, he's probably the
- 0:35Speaker 1: bigger threat. You know, one thing about Stephonic, she's great,
- 0:38Speaker 1: and she's brilliant in Congress and you know, number one
- 0:41Speaker 1: in her class at Harvard, smart, very articulate. But it's
- 0:45Speaker 1: Blakeman that's the governor, a manager. You know, he's the
- 0:48Speaker 1: county executive of Nassau County. It's like being the governor
- 0:52Speaker 1: of Nassau County. He's the best county executive in America.
- 0:55Speaker 1: So that could be the real threat. Asked about him,
- 0:58Speaker 1: she said, Nah, I don't care how many Trump cheerleaders
- 1:02Speaker 1: run against me. Well, that's a pretty good sign for Blakeman.
- 1:05Speaker 1: She can't seem to come up with the argument against
- 1:08Speaker 1: him if she's got a resort to Trump arrangement syndrome
- 1:11Speaker 1: to go after him. Eh, not a good sign. And
- 1:14Speaker 1: NASA County's done very well under him as far as taxes, crime, economy, everything.
- 1:20Speaker 1: So she's you can tell she's a little worried about
- 1:25Speaker 1: that Blakeman threat. Now here's the other thing about Hockel.
- 1:29Speaker 1: You know everybody hates these things. She comes up with
- 1:32Speaker 1: one of them. She's gonna ban natural gas. She's going
- 1:34Speaker 1: to ban gas stoves. You won't be allowed to have
- 1:37Speaker 1: a gas stove. Now that's very important. It's okay if
- 1:40Speaker 1: you got an electric stove, but a gas stove it's
- 1:43Speaker 1: much better for cooking. You get much better results, you
- 1:46Speaker 1: get much better texture everything. That's why in restaurants they
- 1:49Speaker 1: only use gas stoves. And if she bans these gas stoves,
- 1:53Speaker 1: you really can't have a restaurant. I guess they'll have
- 1:55Speaker 1: to grandfather the old ones. You could keep those, but
- 1:59Speaker 1: nobody will be able to build a new restaurant if
- 2:01Speaker 1: you can't use gas stoves. So it's a nightmare. Wednesday,
- 2:08Speaker 1: she said she's putting off the ban on gas in
- 2:11Speaker 1: homes and buildings under seven stories. She's not gonna do it.
- 2:15Speaker 1: She's putting it off. But Hokal watchers say, don't be
- 2:20Speaker 1: fooled by this for a second. It's like the congestion pricing.
- 2:24Speaker 1: She did the same thing. Remember she said, forget the
- 2:27Speaker 1: congestion pricing. That's on hold, not doing well. It was
- 2:31Speaker 1: just till the election was over. Then the day after
- 2:34Speaker 1: the election there's the congestion pricing again. So if everybody's
- 2:37Speaker 1: saying that's the deal, she's putting off this nonsense just
- 2:40Speaker 1: till the day after the election. It's next year. It's
- 2:42Speaker 1: a year from now. But don't be fooled by that.
- 2:47Speaker 1: The gas ban will come in the day after the election.
- 2:51Speaker 1: So you know, these Democrats are scream about tariffs, tariffs.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Why they just raised the prices. If you put a
- 2:57Speaker 1: tariff on these companies, they're gonna have to raise their prices.
- 3:00Speaker 1: The tariff will cause inflation. But then they go doing
- 3:02Speaker 1: the same exact thing. They don't call it a tariff,
- 3:06Speaker 1: they call it increased corporate tax. You know, if you
- 3:09Speaker 1: increase the tax on corporations. That's a tariff. It's the
- 3:13Speaker 1: same exact thing as a tariff. So Democrats do it
- 3:17Speaker 1: all the time, that's all. They can'tpaign on tariffs. They
- 3:20Speaker 1: call it a corporate tax increase, but it's basically a tariff. Hey,
- 3:24Speaker 1: we've been talking about Jeffrey Epstein all week. The Clintons
- 3:28Speaker 1: apparently are going to be called to testify in Congress
- 3:32Speaker 1: about their relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. This could be next month.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Bill and Hillary forced to testify in Congress. Now the
- 3:42Speaker 1: Clinton I guess it's the attorney has written to Congress
- 3:46Speaker 1: saying Bill and Hillary Clinton will be happy to provide
- 3:50Speaker 1: a written proffer. In other words, he says, on what
- 3:54Speaker 1: little they know about Jeffrey Epstein. Suddenly they don't know
- 3:58Speaker 1: the guy. They don't know anything about it. They barely
- 4:00Speaker 1: met him. Meantime, they were with him all the time.
- 4:03Speaker 1: They were close to Jeffrey Epstein. But the attorney is
- 4:06Speaker 1: trying this. They'll give you in writing what little they
- 4:10Speaker 1: knew about him, whether there was plenty. You know, it's
- 4:12Speaker 1: going to come out. We mentioned this during the week.
- 4:16Speaker 1: The Clinton Global Initiative, which is now known as the
- 4:19Speaker 1: Clinton Foundation, started by Jeffrey Epstein. He was the big
- 4:23Speaker 1: donor that launched it. Epstein funded the whole thing. They
- 4:27Speaker 1: were very close, and that's one reason all these politicians
- 4:31Speaker 1: know Epstein. He had a big check book, and he
- 4:32Speaker 1: wasn't afraid to write big checks. He paid for access.
- 4:37Speaker 1: You know, normally, if you're some big intellectual type politician
- 4:42Speaker 1: or big ivy league scholarly trustee, I wants to hang
- 4:47Speaker 1: out with slimeball Jeffrey Epstein. But he'd write checks like crazy,
- 4:51Speaker 1: Oh you got a charity, here's one hundred thousand for
- 4:53Speaker 1: your charity, Clinton Global Initiative. Let me give you a
- 4:56Speaker 1: million dollars. Well, so they'd show up, sit there at
- 4:58Speaker 1: his dinner table, pretend they were interested in what he
- 5:01Speaker 1: was saying. But if you like that Clinton Foundation, thank
- 5:05Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein. He's the guy behind it. Hey speaking to Epstein.
- 5:08Speaker 1: You know, he's got that beautiful mansion seventy first Street.
- 5:12Speaker 1: It's huge, it's been up for sale and it's undergone
- 5:17Speaker 1: apparently a massive million dollar remodel. They're trying to scrub
- 5:21Speaker 1: all traces of all the terrible, disgusting Epstein nonsense that
- 5:27Speaker 1: went on there. His twisted sex crime City record show
- 5:30Speaker 1: already nine hundred and twenty five thousand spent on renovation,
- 5:35Speaker 1: and there's more coming. The home's new owner is a
- 5:38Speaker 1: former Goldman Sachs executive. It's bigger than a normal townhouse.
- 5:42Speaker 1: It's like the size of two townhouses. It was a
- 5:44Speaker 1: big building. Actually it was a private school. So this guy,
- 5:48Speaker 1: the former Goldman Sachs guy, paid fifty one million for it.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Probably was worth more, but it probably the price was
- 5:56Speaker 1: a little lower because it had all the stain of
- 5:58Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein, no pun in downd it all over it. Yeah.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Actually here it says it was originally eighty eight million,
- 6:04Speaker 1: So the guy got a hell of a bargain thirty
- 6:07Speaker 1: million off the price. But it's gonna take millions. Needs
- 6:12Speaker 1: a complete makeover physically, probably needs an exorcism, Probably needs
- 6:16Speaker 1: a hazmat team to come in there. I don't know.
- 6:18Speaker 1: I wouldn't want to live in that thing. So, hey,
- 6:21Speaker 1: what is Ted Cruz has been going crazy going after
- 6:24Speaker 1: Tucker Carlson. Now, Tucker Carlson is just gone off the
- 6:30Speaker 1: deep end. He's now like a redneck crazy in all
- 6:36Speaker 1: kinds of areas that are so controversial. And then you
- 6:39Speaker 1: got Tucker, Megan Kelly and these kind of who's that
- 6:43Speaker 1: another one that Kansas owns. They're running down the weirdest
- 6:47Speaker 1: rabbit holes and they're getting into anti Semitic, anti Israel
- 6:51Speaker 1: crap that is absolutely ridiculous. Mark le event has gotten
- 6:55Speaker 1: into a huge feud with him, But now Ted Cruz
- 6:58Speaker 1: really going after him special Tucker Carlson, the anti Semitism,
- 7:02Speaker 1: the anti Americanism. He's yelling in screen, but he's carrying
- 7:06Speaker 1: on quite a crusade against Tucker Carlson. Now Washington insiders think,
- 7:12Speaker 1: what's really going on? You know, it comes to twenty
- 7:15Speaker 1: twenty eight. On the Republican side, who's the candidate in
- 7:18Speaker 1: twenty twenty eight Trump is term limited out, who's the candidate? Well?
- 7:22Speaker 1: Jd Vance number one? And then people talk about Marco Rubio.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Apparently Ted Cruz wants in on that. He wants to
- 7:30Speaker 1: be the twenty twenty eight candidate. Hard to get past J. D. Vance,
- 7:34Speaker 1: who's the sitting Vice president. Rubio is the Secretary of State.
- 7:38Speaker 1: So apparently that's one reason Cruz is doing this, going
- 7:41Speaker 1: crazy with the fighting the anti semitism. You could think
- 7:45Speaker 1: major Jewish donors will come to him, will turn to
- 7:49Speaker 1: him more than those other guys in the twenty twenty
- 7:52Speaker 1: eight race, give him the backing, the financing he needs,
- 7:55Speaker 1: and maybe the clout in some areas. So that's what
- 7:57Speaker 1: it's all about. At the beginning of the twenty twenty
- 7:59Speaker 1: eight race, Barack Obama is building his presidential library, great
- 8:04Speaker 1: testament to what a bad manager. Barack Obama is just awful. Now.
- 8:11Speaker 1: First of all, it is considered the ugliest building ever
- 8:15Speaker 1: built in America. Just google Barack Obama Presidential Library. It
- 8:21Speaker 1: is the most hideous, ugliest. I don't even I can't
- 8:26Speaker 1: even call it a building. It's just a big ten
- 8:29Speaker 1: story slab of the ugliest concrete with no windows. It's
- 8:33Speaker 1: the most hideous thing ever built. And apparently he's gone
- 8:39Speaker 1: insane with bad management. It should cost one hundred million
- 8:43Speaker 1: or whatever. He's already like eight hundred and fifty million
- 8:46Speaker 1: over budget. It's donor money that he's wasted. So it's
- 8:49Speaker 1: the ugliest thing ever built. It's ridiculously over budget. And
- 8:55Speaker 1: apparently the other thing is he's building this in a
- 8:58Speaker 1: park in Chicago. It's not just any park. It's Frederick
- 9:01Speaker 1: law Olmsted, who's the greatest designer of parks. He's the
- 9:05Speaker 1: guy that did Central Park. If you're out in Long Island,
- 9:08Speaker 1: he did the beautiful planting fields. But apparently this is
- 9:12Speaker 1: an isore that has screwed up the park. People in
- 9:15Speaker 1: Chicago are furious at Obama. It took twenty acres out
- 9:20Speaker 1: of the park and in this beautiful Olmsted Park it
- 9:23Speaker 1: put this ridiculous isyesore that takes up way too much
- 9:28Speaker 1: land and ruins the view all over the wherever you
- 9:31Speaker 1: are in the park, it just ruins your view, and
- 9:33Speaker 1: people are furious with Obama. Now you may not have
- 9:36Speaker 1: heard about this because it's Obama and the press covers
- 9:40Speaker 1: for it. If this were Donald Trump or any Republican,
- 9:44Speaker 1: this would be front page news for the last year.
- 9:47Speaker 1: It's being covered up. But it is just Google Obama
- 9:51Speaker 1: Presidential Library. You won't believe anybody would approve this design.
- 9:55Speaker 1: The ugliest thing ever built in America. Hey, OJ Simpson's estate.
- 10:02Speaker 1: He's no longer with us, of course. Ron Goldman's been
- 10:05Speaker 1: battling OJ Simpson for years. When Simpson got acquitted, remember
- 10:11Speaker 1: Ron Goldman went to court. Civil trial is much easier.
- 10:16Speaker 1: You don't need as much evidence or standards are lower
- 10:19Speaker 1: for a civil conviction, and he got OJ convicted civilly
- 10:23Speaker 1: and he got a massive judgment. I think it was
- 10:25Speaker 1: fifty eight million. Now, how do you collect that from OJ? Well,
- 10:29Speaker 1: it's tough, but OJ's dead. Ron Goldman going after the estate. Well,
- 10:34Speaker 1: the estate agreed to pay the fifty eight million. I
- 10:38Speaker 1: don't know exactly how they're going to pay it. They
- 10:40Speaker 1: don't have the money. It's thirty three million the original judge. Oh,
- 10:45Speaker 1: the original judgment was thirty three million. It's grown to
- 10:48Speaker 1: fifty eight million with interest in all that. You know,
- 10:51Speaker 1: all of this Ojson, this is nineteen ninety five. Hard
- 10:54Speaker 1: to believe, thirty years ago, the OJ stuff, the trial
- 10:58Speaker 1: that Johnny Cochrane, who's the other guy Kardashian and bought
- 11:04Speaker 1: Robert Shapiro. And remember the Bronco Chase, the White Bronco
- 11:07Speaker 1: Chase that Friday night, that was all over television. All
- 11:10Speaker 1: of that thirty years ago. So the executor told press
- 11:15Speaker 1: that the estate intends to pay as much of the
- 11:17Speaker 1: amount as they can through ongoing auctions of Simpson's possessions.
- 11:22Speaker 1: They'll auction his memorabilia. I don't think this is going
- 11:26Speaker 1: to come down millions of dollars. They also point out
- 11:29Speaker 1: a lot of the memorabilia was stolen. They're working with
- 11:32Speaker 1: attorneys to recover it. They're also pointing out they owe
- 11:36Speaker 1: a ton of money the IRS and that has priority,
- 11:39Speaker 1: so Goldman gets nothing until the IRS is paid. Also,
- 11:44Speaker 1: California's apparently owed seven hundred thousand, so it's going to
- 11:48Speaker 1: be a while for Goldman to get any of that money.
- 11:51Speaker 1: But good for him for keeping it up. You know,
- 11:56Speaker 1: it was quite an election this year, and you don't
- 11:59Speaker 1: realize when you can't pain in New York City how
- 12:02Speaker 1: big New York City is, you know it just take Queens,
- 12:04Speaker 1: one Borough, Queens. How many people you think are in
- 12:07Speaker 1: Queens two and a half million, Two and a half
- 12:12Speaker 1: million people are in Queens. How many languages you think
- 12:16Speaker 1: are spoken in Queens one hundred and sixty, one hundred
- 12:21Speaker 1: and sixty languages. Forty eight percent of Queens is foreign. Now,
- 12:26Speaker 1: that's something that came out on the show this week.
- 12:28Speaker 1: That was one of the most interesting things we It
- 12:30Speaker 1: was an culter that came up with it. You know,
- 12:32Speaker 1: Democrats left the borders wide open so that millions could
- 12:35Speaker 1: come in here because they saw through all their studies
- 12:39Speaker 1: that if you let all these people in, all these
- 12:41Speaker 1: illegals that eventually go on the voter rolls, they vote
- 12:45Speaker 1: Democrat nine to one, so that's why they wanted them here.
- 12:49Speaker 1: They'll vote Democrat nine to one. So they let like
- 12:51Speaker 1: twenty million of them in thirty million only, like everything
- 12:55Speaker 1: that Democrats do, it backfired on them. Yeah, they'll vote Democrat,
- 12:59Speaker 1: but not for establishment Democrat. They don't like old fossil
- 13:03Speaker 1: dinosaur Chuck Schumer types. No, they'll vote for a socialist
- 13:08Speaker 1: foreign third world mom Donnie types. You know, all these
- 13:11Speaker 1: people that came in are young, they come from socialism
- 13:15Speaker 1: or communism or third world places, and that's what they'll
- 13:18Speaker 1: vote for. So it's backfired completely. It's made it impossible
- 13:22Speaker 1: for an old fossil like a Schumer type or even
- 13:26Speaker 1: a Cuomo to get elected anymore among Democrats. Hey, we're
- 13:29Speaker 1: out of time, but thanks for listening. You can listen
- 13:32Speaker 1: live ten to noon every weekday, or get the podcast
- 13:36Speaker 1: any place you get podcasts. You know, get our special
- 13:39Speaker 1: bonus segment, Mark Simone here. Thanks for listening.
