- Kasra Dash: Today we're talking about pushing negative content down. One of the first things I’d look at is using a press release. With the right optimisation, you can even manipulate AI Overviews to say something positive about you. Press releases also help promote images, videos, and can even influence Google Autocomplete and web pages for a stronger positive brand presence. We're focusing on pushing negative content down in Dubai—whether you're a business, celebrity, politician, or public figure. We can help. I’m joined by James Dooley. What are some ways someone can push down negative content, whether it's a video, image, or article? James Dooley: Since we’ve opened the FatRank Dubai office, we’ve been helping business owners, entrepreneurs, and corporate brands push down negative content. The first step is publishing a positive-sentiment press release and then force-indexing it. That distributes it to places like Google News, Yahoo Finance, and other major publications so it can outrank the negative items. Kasra Dash: What if someone has a mugshot they want pushed down? James Dooley: We follow a 30-point checklist. First, make sure the person has a website—complete with a gallery containing many images that Google can crawl and index. Then we run image-sharing campaigns. People might find this nerdy because it's quite technical, but there are many methods. We also ensure all social profiles exist and are properly set up. It’s a lot of work—usually 60 to 70 days of effort—which is why we recommend hiring a team like ours. We already know what works and what doesn’t. Kasra Dash: What about pushing down viral videos or negative tweets? James Dooley: You mentioned something important: using a professional Online Reputation Management (ORM) service. We push down webpages, you push down images, and now we get to videos. Through press releases, guest posts, and power posts, we can embed images and videos to help them rank. A solid ORM agency uses AI workflows to get higher rankings for videos, images, and webpages. For videos specifically, we upload positive ones to YouTube, create Shorts, TikToks, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn videos, and Twitter clips, then force-index them. The goal is to outrank any negative video—on Google Web Search, Google Video Search, and YouTube. To boost the positive videos, we use social sharing techniques, engagement (likes, comments, replies), and embeds across press releases and articles. There are dozens of ways to do it. Kasra Dash: What about power posts for ORM? James Dooley: Power posts are extremely effective. Sometimes the AI Overview writes negative things about you. With power posts, you can directly influence the AI Overview to show something more positive. This is part of LLM reputation management. If your name returns a lot of negativity, you’ll need multiple power posts. And when you do everything holistically—press releases, power posts, articles—you can link them to all your social media accounts, boosting their rankings too. Eventually, your Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn start outranking negative results. If you work with a professional ORM company like FatRank in Dubai, we can handle everything: for entrepreneurs, business owners, or corporate brands. We can push down harmful content from the SERPs, promote positive images and videos, manipulate Google Autocomplete, and influence the AI Overview. Kasra Dash: This has been our breakdown on how to push down negative content in Dubai. We do this globally, but today’s video was Dubai-specific. If you’re dealing with this problem, visit FatRank.com, submit the contact form, and our team will help.
