Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome to another episode of the
• 0:03
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. Recently we went through an article by the
• 0:07
Speaker 1: New York Times talking about the crisis management that was
• 0:11
Speaker 1: going on at the White House as the Epstein story
• 0:14
Speaker 1: was dominating the headlines. And they were coming up with
• 0:17
Speaker 1: all kinds of strategies to try to deal with the fallout.
• 0:22
Speaker 1: And according to the article, J.D. Vance floated the idea
• 0:26
Speaker 1: of having somebody like Tucker Carlson interview Ghislaine Maxwell. But
• 0:31
Speaker 1: instead of that, they ended up having Todd baby Billy
• 0:34
Speaker 1: Blanche do it. And not only that, but Pam Bondi
• 0:38
Speaker 1: put all the blame on Todd Blanche, basically, for everything
• 0:42
Speaker 1: that went on with the release of the files. So
• 0:45
Speaker 1: is anybody shocked out there that Epstein survivors want nothing
• 0:48
Speaker 1: to do with Todd Blanche as the Attorney General? I mean,
• 0:52
Speaker 1: I don't know why that would shock anybody. Bro's not
• 0:55
Speaker 1: exactly what I'd call reliable, right? Not exactly what I
• 0:59
Speaker 1: would call somebody who gives a shit about these women
• 1:03
Speaker 1: or about the case overall. He cares about protecting Donald Trump.
• 1:07
Speaker 1: That's what he cares about. And that's always been his function.
• 1:12
Speaker 1: So the fact that anyone's even talking about this dude
• 1:15
Speaker 1: being the Attorney General is bananas. And under normal circumstances
• 1:19
Speaker 1: and the normal administration, a guy like this wouldn't even
• 1:23
Speaker 1: be nominated to this kind of post. But we're so
• 1:26
Speaker 1: far removed from what's normal and what's not. that having
• 1:30
Speaker 1: a guy like Todd Blanche as the Attorney General doesn't
• 1:33
Speaker 1: even move the needle anymore. And when you have somebody
• 1:35
Speaker 1: as corrupt as Donald Trump as the President, well, why
• 1:39
Speaker 1: should it? Today's article is from CNN, and the headline,
• 1:43
Speaker 1: Group of Epstein Survivors Announce Opposition to Todd Blanche Attorney
• 1:47
Speaker 1: General Nomination. This article was authored by Jake Tapper and
• 1:51
Speaker 1: Annie Greyer. A group of Jeffrey Epstein survivors came out
• 1:55
Speaker 1: in opposition to Todd Blanche nomination as President Donald Trump's
• 2:00
Speaker 1: permanent Attorney General, citing his participation in secret White House
• 2:04
Speaker 1: meetings on how to contain the political fallout from the
• 2:07
Speaker 1: Epstein files. And that was the whole goal. Contain that shit.
• 2:13
Speaker 1: The less people that know, the better. The more confusion,
• 2:16
Speaker 1: the better. The least we say, the better. And while
• 2:22
Speaker 1: in public, they put on a brave face, telling everybody
• 2:26
Speaker 1: that there was no there there, and that everybody should
• 2:28
Speaker 1: move on, behind the scenes, they were scrambling. All kinds
• 2:32
Speaker 1: of crisis meetings, people fighting, Dan Bongino saying cutesy time
• 2:37
Speaker 1: is over, and walking out of a meeting allegedly. And
• 2:40
Speaker 1: do you think all of that would be occurring if
• 2:42
Speaker 1: there was nothing here? If there was nothing that they
• 2:45
Speaker 1: feared as an administration? And whether that is their friends
• 2:49
Speaker 1: being embarrassed, or the institutions being embarrassed, the result was
• 2:55
Speaker 1: the same. they're not willing to do it. And that's
• 2:58
Speaker 1: because they know that if the American people truly understood
• 3:02
Speaker 1: what these folks were up to, I think that the
• 3:04
Speaker 1: American people would take to the streets. And I'm not
• 3:08
Speaker 1: just talking about the sexual crimes of Jeffrey Epstein. I'm
• 3:11
Speaker 1: talking about the whole kit and caboodle. The whole thing.
• 3:17
Speaker 1: In a new statement obtained by CNN, 19 women responded
• 3:20
Speaker 1: to New York Times reporting that Blanche and other senior
• 3:24
Speaker 1: officials participated in in Situation Room meetings to discuss how
• 3:27
Speaker 1: to respond to growing pressure for more transparency as the
• 3:31
Speaker 1: issue became a public relations crisis for the administration. And
• 3:38
Speaker 1: to say that they did a shitty job is an understatement.
• 3:42
Speaker 1: This is one of the biggest fumbles in the history
• 3:45
Speaker 1: of an administration. They had this all teed up. They
• 3:48
Speaker 1: could have been the heroes, the goats, the most transparent
• 3:51
Speaker 1: administration in history. But instead, History will not remember them kindly,
• 3:57
Speaker 1: and they'll go down as the administration that thought it
• 3:59
Speaker 1: would be a good idea to continue to protect Jeffrey Epstein.
• 4:03
Speaker 1: That's going to be a gigantic part of this administration's legacy.
• 4:09
Speaker 1: We are deeply disturbed to learn that so many senior
• 4:11
Speaker 1: members of the administration gathered in the Situation Room to
• 4:15
Speaker 1: discuss the release of the Epstein files as a reputational problem,
• 4:19
Speaker 1: rather than an opportunity to pursue investigative leads and try
• 4:23
Speaker 1: to figure out what actually happened, the survivors of Epstein's
• 4:27
Speaker 1: abuse said in the joint statement. These revelations confirm our
• 4:31
Speaker 1: worst fears about the administration prioritizing political expediency over justice
• 4:36
Speaker 1: for survivors and truth for the American people. Look, the
• 4:40
Speaker 1: second that Todd Blanche was involved, you knew the fix
• 4:43
Speaker 1: was in. His function, his sole function, is to protect
• 4:47
Speaker 1: Donald Trump. And whether that's to protect Donald Trump from
• 4:51
Speaker 1: being embarrassed or something more sinister, we just don't know yet.
• 4:56
Speaker 1: But if anyone thinks that this isn't about protecting him,
• 4:59
Speaker 1: they're crazy. The survivors raised specific concerns about Blanche, who
• 5:04
Speaker 1: played a key role in overseeing the release of the
• 5:07
Speaker 1: Epstein files after Congress passed a law mandating it, who
• 5:11
Speaker 1: has now been nominated by President Donald Trump to permanently
• 5:14
Speaker 1: serve as the nation's top law enforcement officer. And remember,
• 5:18
Speaker 1: according to Todd Blanche, it's not illegal to party with
• 5:21
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein. You know, Todd Blanche, Glenn Maxwell's good buddy?
• 5:27
Speaker 1: Todd Blanche, the man who won't answer any questions? Yeah,
• 5:30
Speaker 1: that Todd Blanche. If anyone deserves to have their confirmation torpedoed,
• 5:35
Speaker 1: it's him. We are especially concerned that Todd Blanche, the
• 5:39
Speaker 1: person nominated for the highest law enforcement position in the country,
• 5:42
Speaker 1: was at the table. Blanche... has consistently minimized legitimate concerns
• 5:47
Speaker 1: about how the files have been handled, including problematic redactions
• 5:51
Speaker 1: and the exposure of survivors' personal information. Blanche failed to
• 5:56
Speaker 1: deliver transparency, and he has gravely failed survivors. This is
• 6:00
Speaker 1: failing upward, plain and simple, they wrote. And it's true.
• 6:04
Speaker 1: Why should Todd Blanche be involved in any of this?
• 6:08
Speaker 1: And what I truly hope is that all these people
• 6:10
Speaker 1: right now that are being smug, All these people that
• 6:13
Speaker 1: are taking part in this cover-up, I hope that all
• 6:16
Speaker 1: of them get their day in front of Congress. And
• 6:19
Speaker 1: not this Congress, not one led by James Comer, led
• 6:22
Speaker 1: by somebody who's serious about getting to the truth. We
• 6:27
Speaker 1: deserve better. We deserve truth, transparency, and accountability. We deserve
• 6:33
Speaker 1: to be taken seriously when we come forward. And we
• 6:35
Speaker 1: deserve an Attorney General who will use the full power
• 6:38
Speaker 1: of that office to pursue justice, protect others, and ensure...
• 6:42
Speaker 1: that what happened to us never happens again, the women continued.
• 6:47
Speaker 1: Liz Stein, one of Epstein's survivors, who signed the letter,
• 6:50
Speaker 1: told CNN, if his nomination is confirmed, Todd Blanche would
• 6:54
Speaker 1: be the head law enforcement agent of our country. And
• 6:57
Speaker 1: we've seen consistently over the past year, his behavior in
• 7:00
Speaker 1: regards to the Epstein case is just really concerning. And
• 7:04
Speaker 1: I'd say that is an understatement. I would say that
• 7:08
  Speaker 1: if there's a face to this cover-up, it's Todd Blanche.
• 7:11
Speaker 1: It wasn't Pam Bondi. Now, she was the boss, right?
• 7:15
Speaker 1: So Buck stops with her. But Todd Blanche has always
• 7:18
Speaker 1: been the one that was dick deep in this. And
• 7:22
Speaker 1: his first loyalty is to Donald Trump, not to the country.
• 7:26
Speaker 1: That's why he's in this position. And that's why Todd
• 7:29
Speaker 1: Blanche should not be confirmed. At the end of the day,
• 7:34
Speaker 1: we're victims of a crime. And what's the message that
• 7:37
Speaker 1: we're sending to Americans in the country about how victims
• 7:40
Speaker 1: of crime should be treated? This is an issue that
• 7:43
Speaker 1: has been laden with a ton of political emotion. But
• 7:46
Speaker 1: if we can't count on our government to prosecute crimes,
• 7:49
Speaker 1: then we're in big trouble. Stein said Thursday on the lead.
• 7:53
Speaker 1: And unfortunately, this has become one of those issues that
• 7:57
Speaker 1: instead of uniting people, it's divided people. And it shouldn't
• 8:01
Speaker 1: have done that. I mean, what we're talking about here
• 8:04
Speaker 1: is something that should be a red line in the sand.
• 8:07
Speaker 1: But because people have their favorite politicians dragged in, all
• 8:10
  Speaker 1: of a sudden it's a hoax. All of a sudden,
• 8:12
Speaker 1: it's not that big of a deal. All of a sudden,
• 8:15
Speaker 1: you have people on Fox News trying to throw cold
• 8:18
Speaker 1: water over what Epstein was. Meanwhile, just a few years ago,
• 8:23
Speaker 1: they wouldn't stop reaching out to me to try to
• 8:25
Speaker 1: get me to come on Fox to talk about Epstein.
• 8:27
Speaker 1: But all of a sudden, they get their marching orders
• 8:29
Speaker 1: from the White House, and it's a whole different story, huh?
• 8:32
Speaker 1: And on the flip side of that, the left-leaning media
• 8:37
Speaker 1: had no desire to talk about this story previously. no
• 8:41
Speaker 1: desire whatsoever in fact they were calling everybody who was
• 8:44
Speaker 1: following it covering it conspiracy theorists but now because they
• 8:49
Speaker 1: feel like it's an inroad to go after their political
• 8:52
Speaker 1: opponents oh they care a whole lot about the story
• 8:55
Speaker 1: I see them too and I know exactly what they're
• 8:58
Speaker 1: doing but like I've told you before I'm willing to
• 9:03
Speaker 1: ride these motherfuckers all the way to the finish line
• 9:06
Speaker 1: if they're gonna bring some more eyes to the story
• 9:08
Speaker 1: cool good But I'm under no illusions about their motivations
• 9:12
Speaker 1: being pure, about them caring about the survivors or about us.
• 9:17
Speaker 1: But the way they try to use us, the way
• 9:19
Speaker 1: they try to use the survivors, I think we should
• 9:22
Speaker 1: just flip the script and use them. And that was
• 9:24
Speaker 1: my same strategy with Thomas Massey. I'm not some, you know,
• 9:27
Speaker 1: dyed in the wool Massey guy. I don't trust any
• 9:30
Speaker 1: of these politicians. None of them. But every now and then,
• 9:34
Speaker 1: our goals align, right? So if that's the case... That's
• 9:48
Speaker 1: all I care about. Nothing else. CNN has reached out
• 9:51
Speaker 1: to the DOJ for comment. In response to a request
• 9:54
Speaker 1: for comment, White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson pointed to how
• 9:58
Speaker 1: Trump has said that he has been exonerated on any
• 10:01
Speaker 1: matters relating to Epstein and said, by releasing thousands of
• 10:04
Speaker 1: pages of documents cooperating with the House Oversight Committee's subpoena,
• 10:09
Speaker 1: signing the Epstein File Transparency Act, and calling for more
• 10:13
Speaker 1: investigations into Epstein's Democrat friends, President Trump has done more
• 10:17
Speaker 1: for Epstein victims than anyone before him. Well, first of all,
• 10:21
Speaker 1: the president calling for investigations into Democrat friends of Epstein
• 10:26
Speaker 1: is a non-starter. If there was a case brought, it
• 10:29
Speaker 1: would get thrown out for political malice. So he's sabotaging it.
• 10:34
Speaker 1: And then this Abigail Jackson lady shows up and runs
• 10:38
Speaker 1: the same nonsense, runs the same canned statement time and
• 10:40
Speaker 1: time again. What do you think, your Buckingham Palace? Enough already.
• 10:45
Speaker 1: Imagine having the audacity to say you've done more for
• 10:48
Speaker 1: Epstein's survivors than anybody else, and then those very survivors
• 10:51
Speaker 1: telling you that you're lying? That's your president. That's the
• 10:58
Speaker 1: man sitting in the Oval Office. Aren't you guys tired
• 11:01
Speaker 1: of so much winning? The administration provided a similar statement
• 11:05
Speaker 1: to the New York Times. Earlier this week, House Oversight
• 11:08
Speaker 1: Chair James Comer told reporters that he planned to ask
• 11:12
Speaker 1: Blanche to testify in front of his committee in July.
• 11:15
Speaker 1: as part of the panel's ongoing Epstein probe, an indication
• 11:19
Speaker 1: that even Republicans still have questions about how the Justice
• 11:22
Speaker 1: Department has handled the Epstein matter, or he feels like
• 11:26
Speaker 1: he has to do it. Let's not forget that. Let's
• 11:30
Speaker 1: not rule that out. Because as you know, I don't
• 11:33
Speaker 1: trust Comer either. As the Trump administration continues to deal
• 11:37
Speaker 1: with political fallout over how the files were released, the
• 11:41
Speaker 1: millions of documents that were withheld, and redaction issues, Former
• 11:45
Speaker 1: Attorney General Pam Bondi has sought to distance herself from
• 11:48
Speaker 1: the process and testified behind closed doors to the panel
• 11:52
Speaker 1: last month that Blanche was responsible for overseeing the release
• 11:56
Speaker 1: of the files. Oh, she threw him right under the bus. 100%.
• 12:02
Speaker 1: And look, she's probably right. Trump didn't trust Bondi at
• 12:05
Speaker 1: that point, and he wanted Blanche to do it. Trump
• 12:08
Speaker 1: needed that personal touch on this one. He was in
• 12:11
Speaker 1: charge of the process and the entire release of the
• 12:14
Speaker 1: Epstein files, Bondi said at the time when asked about
• 12:17
Speaker 1: her role in the department's compliance with the Epstein Files
• 12:20
Speaker 1: Transparency Act. The DOJ released approximately 3 million files compelled
• 12:25
Speaker 1: by Congress, but Bondi was pushed to explain why another
• 12:29
Speaker 1: roughly 3 million have not yet been released. Earlier this week,
• 12:33
Speaker 1: Comer met with roughly a dozen Epstein survivors in private meetings,
• 12:37
Speaker 1: sources said. A member of the group meeting with Comer
• 12:41
Speaker 1: told CNN that survivors felt heard by the chairman. Well,
• 12:44
  Speaker 1: that's good. Look, I'll give credit where it's due. I
• 12:48
Speaker 1: don't have an ax to grind against James Comer. And frankly,
• 12:51
Speaker 1: I never thought about the dude until he was involved
• 12:54
Speaker 1: in this. But have some backbone. Have some courage. And
• 13:00
Speaker 1: be willing to stand up to the president when the
• 13:02
Speaker 1: president is wrong. Is that too much to ask? Does
• 13:05
Speaker 1: that make people a traitor? Not in my opinion. The
• 13:12
Speaker 1: survivors also told the Kentucky Republican that some of what's
• 13:15
Speaker 1: been said by witnesses, that his panel has interviewed, has
• 13:19
Speaker 1: been inaccurate, and why witnesses should be under oath and recorded.
• 13:23
Speaker 1: That is 1,000% true. Every single person that appears should
• 13:28
Speaker 1: be compelled to do so. Hit them with a subpoena,
• 13:32
Speaker 1: compel them. Don't give them the choice to come in
• 13:35
Speaker 1: voluntarily and have a closed-door meeting. It's ridiculous. We have
• 13:40
Speaker 1: consistently looked to meet with lawmakers just to kind of
• 13:43
Speaker 1: explain our story and explain what our concerns are, Stein
• 13:46
Speaker 1: told CNN on Thursday. Stein continued on to say, We
• 13:51
Speaker 1: were really glad that Mr. Comer was receptive to meeting
• 13:53
Speaker 1: with us and it was an extraordinarily positive interaction that
• 13:57
Speaker 1: we had with him. Again, that is good. And I
• 14:01
Speaker 1: hope he comes around, but I have my doubts. When
• 14:04
Speaker 1: your boss is Donald Trump and he's telling you to
• 14:07
Speaker 1: do something, well, we've learned. that people do it. I
• 14:13
Speaker 1: think that to hear from us directly what the particular
• 14:15
Speaker 1: concerns were, I think that it opened his eyes in
• 14:18
Speaker 1: a way that they haven't been open before. Many of
• 14:22
Speaker 1: the people testifying as part of the panel's Epstein investigation
• 14:25
Speaker 1: have appeared voluntarily, which has meant that they have not
• 14:28
Speaker 1: had to take a formal oath before speaking to the panel.
• 14:31
Speaker 1: Like I told you from the jump, the panel's garbage.
• 14:35
Speaker 1: Oh sure, we get some depositions out of it, but
• 14:38
Speaker 1: nobody's under oath. You've got these people coming in there voluntarily,
• 14:42
Speaker 1: and if they lie, what's the big deal? Everybody has
• 14:46
Speaker 1: lied to the panel. Every single person, basically. And what's
• 14:50
Speaker 1: come of it? Nothing. Just like everything else in this case.
• 14:54
Speaker 1: Witnesses are reminded at the start of their interviews, however,
• 14:57
Speaker 1: that making false statements to Congress is subject to criminal prosecution.
• 15:01
Speaker 1: We're continuously meeting with survivors of Epstein, Comer, who has
• 15:05
Speaker 1: said he wants to eventually hold a hearing with survivors,
• 15:08
Speaker 1: told reporters, on Tuesday. He pointed to recent testimony from
• 15:13
Speaker 1: Epstein's longtime assistant as an example of what his committee
• 15:16
Speaker 1: will need to fact-check with survivors. Chairman Comer's goal from
• 15:20
Speaker 1: the start of the Oversight Committee's investigation has been to
• 15:24
Speaker 1: provide transparency for the American people and accountability for survivors.
• 15:29
Speaker 1: We will continue to work with survivors as we conduct
• 15:32
Speaker 1: our review of the federal government's handling of the Epstein
• 15:36
Speaker 1: and Maxwell cases. A House Oversight Committee spokeswoman told CNN, Well,
• 15:42
Speaker 1: that's funny. They haven't brought in anybody that was part
• 15:44
Speaker 1: of the NPA. I wonder why. No Matt Menchel, no
• 15:48
Speaker 1: Lily Sanchez, no Marie Villafana. Oh, we had Alex Acosta in,
• 15:52
Speaker 1: of course, because he's always been the fall guy. But
• 15:54
Speaker 1: certainly nobody from DOJ, from Brass, no Mukhezis, no Marc Philippe.
• 16:01
Speaker 1: None of those people. How are you going to tell
• 16:03
Speaker 1: us that this is about the government's handling of this
• 16:06
Speaker 1: if you're not even looking into the NPA? Or how
• 16:09
Speaker 1: about the fact that Jeffrey Epstein died in custody? And
• 16:13
Speaker 1: if we go with the official narrative, nothing changed in
• 16:16
Speaker 1: the aftermath. What happened to all those sweeping changes we
• 16:19
Speaker 1: heard about? Oh, that's right, they never came. And that's because,
• 16:24
Speaker 1: of course, the whole entire OIG investigation is part of
• 16:28
Speaker 1: the cover-up. So look, I hope that James Comer does
• 16:31
Speaker 1: the right thing. And I hope that he takes the
• 16:33
Speaker 1: survivors seriously. And this is certainly a step in the
• 16:37
Speaker 1: right direction. if the survivors themselves say that they feel heard.
• 16:41
Speaker 1: So I wasn't in the meeting, so what we have
• 16:43
Speaker 1: to go on is what the survivors are saying. But look,
• 16:46
Speaker 1: it's one thing to say something, it's another thing to
• 16:49
Speaker 1: follow through. And now that James Comer has talked the talk,
• 16:53
Speaker 1: let's see a few walks of the walk. All the
• 16:57
Speaker 1: information that goes with this episode can be found in
• 17:00
Speaker 1: the description box. What's up everyone and welcome to another
• 17:06
Speaker 1: episode Of the Epstein Chronicles. When it comes to Jeffrey
• 17:11
Speaker 1: Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, there are many unanswered questions. And
• 17:16
Speaker 1: one of the questions that's burning hot right now is
• 17:20
Speaker 1: why Ghislaine Maxwell was transferred. We have no answers. Nobody's
• 17:25
Speaker 1: come forward and told us anything about it. And not
• 17:29
Speaker 1: only that, but they, like, get offended if you have
• 17:32
Speaker 1: any questions about why Ghislaine Maxwell was moved. there was
• 17:36
Speaker 1: no justification for it and there was no reason for it.
• 17:40
Speaker 1: So basically, they just wasted your tax dollars to get
• 17:44
Speaker 1: Ghislaine Maxwell better treatment so she'd say a couple nice
• 17:47
Speaker 1: things about Donald Trump. And imagine you have to rely
• 17:51
Speaker 1: on Ghislaine Maxwell as some kind of character builder. Holy shit.
• 17:56
Speaker 1: How the mighty have fallen. Today's article is from MS
• 18:00
Speaker 1: Now and the headline, Democrats Demand Answers Over DOJ's Prison
• 18:04
Speaker 1: Policy tied to Glenn Maxwell. This article was authored by

Speaker 1: Kevin Frey. House Democrats want answers about a recent policy
• 18:14
Speaker 1: change at the Federal Bureau of Prisons, arguing leaders at
• 18:18
Speaker 1: the Department of Justice are trying to cover their tracks
• 18:21
Speaker 1: following the August transfer of Jeffrey Epstein associate Glenn Maxwell
• 18:26
Speaker 1: to a lower security facility. So you can't retroactively change
• 18:30
Speaker 1: the policy and then say, oh, this is what we
• 18:32
Speaker 1: were doing. That's not how it works. and it's part
• 18:36
Speaker 1: of the cover-up. I hate to keep saying it, but
• 18:39
  Speaker 1: that's what we're looking at. That's what's happening right now
• 18:41
Speaker 1: in real time. That new policy, which was published last
• 18:46
Speaker 1: month and has not been previously reported, dictates that in
• 18:49
Speaker 1: certain circumstances, the Attorney General may exercise authority to designate
• 18:54
Speaker 1: or redesignate the place of a prisoner's imprisonment. So like
• 18:58
Speaker 1: I told you before, the DOJ oversees the BOP. So
• 19:02
Speaker 1: when you have Pam Bondi telling us she has no idea,
• 19:05
Speaker 1: that's a lie. Either that, or she wasn't really in
• 19:08
Speaker 1: charge of the DOJ, which is quite possible. She could
• 19:13
Speaker 1: have been the face, with Todd Blanche really in charge.
• 19:17
Speaker 1: That wouldn't shock me. That new policy, which was published
• 19:20
Speaker 1: last month, and has not been previously reported, dictates that
• 19:24
Speaker 1: in certain circumstances, the Attorney General may exercise authority to
• 19:27
Speaker 1: designate or redesignate the place of a prisoner's imprisonment. Democrats
• 19:32
Speaker 1: argue the expansion of federal authority over inmate placement is
• 19:36
Speaker 1: a major departure from previous policy, which they said vested
• 19:40
Speaker 1: more authority in the Bureau of Prisons and placed specific
• 19:43
Speaker 1: restrictions on where inmates could be held, including taking into
• 19:48
Speaker 1: account whether the prisoner was is a sex offender. Oh,
• 19:51
Speaker 1: that doesn't matter anymore. That's all a hoax. The only
• 19:55
Speaker 1: time it matters is if they think they can score
• 19:57
Speaker 1: political points talking about it. Oh, the FBI found so-and-so
• 20:01
Speaker 1: many kids. Oh, the FBI did this. Oh, the FBI
• 20:04
Speaker 1: did that. Vafangul, the FBI. How about that? Because they
• 20:09
Speaker 1: haven't done shit here. besides protect Epstein and his friends,
• 20:13
Speaker 1: and continue to lie to all of us. That's all
• 20:15
Speaker 1: they've done here. And now with their new little policy change,
• 20:18
Speaker 1: they're trying to cover it up. Representative Deborah Ross of
• 20:23
Speaker 1: North Carolina, a Democratic member of the House Judiciary Committee,
• 20:26
Speaker 1: said the clear implication is that under the old rules,
• 20:29
Speaker 1: the Department of Justice violated the Bureau of Prisons' own
• 20:32
Speaker 1: rules when it transferred Glenn Maxwell to Club Fed, where
• 20:36
Speaker 1: sex offenders are not allowed to be. since it violated
• 20:39
Speaker 1: the policy for who can do prison transfers. They're trying
• 20:43
Speaker 1: to cover their tracks retroactively, Ross alleged. Well, you can't
• 20:48
Speaker 1: commit a crime and then go back and change the
• 20:51
Speaker 1: law retroactively and say, hey, look, we shouldn't go to
• 20:54
Speaker 1: jail now. Because if that's the case, then every single
• 20:58
Speaker 1: person who's ever been busted for illegal gambling, sports gambling,
• 21:02
Speaker 1: should have their whole entire record cleaned off, right? If
• 21:05
Speaker 1: we're retroactively going back and doing that, but that's not
• 21:09
Speaker 1: how it works for most people. Then again, most people
• 21:13
Speaker 1: aren't Ghislaine Maxwell. Last year, Maxwell was transferred from a
• 21:19
Speaker 1: low-security facility in Florida to a minimum-security camp in Texas,
• 21:23
Speaker 1: shortly after she met with then-Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche,
• 21:27
Speaker 1: who said he wanted to talk about what she knows
• 21:30
Speaker 1: about Epstein. And Blanche had the audacity to say he
• 21:34
Speaker 1: wanted to get Maxwell's story Buddy, she had a chance
• 21:37
Speaker 1: to tell her story. She didn't take the stand. She
• 21:40
Speaker 1: didn't get up there and tell the truth. In fact,
• 21:43
Speaker 1: she's done nothing but lie the whole time. And I
• 21:46
Speaker 1: hate to break the news to you, Todd Blanche, but
• 21:49
Speaker 1: she lied to you too. Maxwell's serving a 20-year sentence
• 21:52
Speaker 1: for her role in a scheme to sexually exploit and
• 21:55
Speaker 1: abuse minors. She has appealed for President Donald Trump to
• 21:59
Speaker 1: grant her clemency. It's a little more than that. Her
• 22:01
Speaker 1: role in a scheme to sexually exploit and abuse minors?
• 22:05
Speaker 1: She took part in the abuse herself. This woman is
• 22:08
Speaker 1: almost as evil, if not as evil, as Jeffrey Epstein.
• 22:13
Speaker 1: I don't think it takes a rocket scientist to figure
• 22:15
Speaker 1: out what they're doing, Ross said of the DOJ. Amping
• 22:19
Speaker 1: up pressure on the Trump administration for answers, Ross sent
• 22:22
Speaker 1: a letter, shared first with MSNOW, to the Federal Bureau
• 22:26
Speaker 1: of Prisons on Friday morning. In it, Ross asked the
• 22:29
Speaker 1: agency to explain what prompted the policy change and how
• 22:32
Speaker 1: it developed. She also asked for the Bureau to detail
• 22:36
Speaker 1: how many times the Attorney General has intervened regarding a
• 22:39
Speaker 1: prison designation or redesignation decision. My guess is not very often.
• 22:45
Speaker 1: Not exactly what the Deputy Attorney General does. Usually they
• 22:49
Speaker 1: stay on the phone and they negotiate secret NPA deals,
• 22:54
Speaker 1: you know, from the main justice office. They don't go
• 22:57
Speaker 1: down to talk to a criminal like Lane Maxwell. Has
• 23:01
Speaker 1: Todd Blanche went and talked to Madero? Has Todd Planch
• 23:04
Speaker 1: went and talked to El Chapo? Has he went and
• 23:08
Speaker 1: talked to insert mafia guy here? Of course he hasn't.
• 23:13
Speaker 1: Because those dudes don't have any information on his boss.
• 23:16
Speaker 1: And I think that this is the clearest example of
• 23:19
Speaker 1: the cover-up and quid pro quo that we have. And
• 23:23
Speaker 1: if a special counsel took a look at this case,
• 23:26
Speaker 1: my guess is a whole lot of people would end
• 23:28
Speaker 1: up indicted. And a lot of them would end up convicted.
• 23:33
Speaker 1: Because this cover-up is obvious. And they're doing it in
• 23:37
Speaker 1: such a blatant manner, in such a F-you kind of way,
• 23:41
Speaker 1: that it really makes me wonder what else they have
• 23:43
Speaker 1: up their sleeve. Because if this is it, I think
• 23:45
Speaker 1: they miscalculated. Because people are sick of it. And people
• 23:51
Speaker 1: know that there's obvious favoritism being played to Ghislaine Maxwell.
• 23:56
Speaker 1: And there's no answer for it. There's no reason for it.
• 23:59
Speaker 1: You're just told to accept it. Given Congress' responsibility to
• 24:08
Speaker 1: oversee the federal correctional system and ensure that the BOP
• 24:11
Speaker 1: policies are evidence-based, transparent, and consistent with statutory requirements, we
• 24:16
Speaker 1: require answers on how and why your Bureau decided to
• 24:20
Speaker 1: give Attorney General the authority to unilaterally transfer inmates and
• 24:24
Speaker 1: disregard the BOP evaluation of an inmate safety classification, Ross
• 24:29
Speaker 1: writes in the letter. So now, when the prosecution gets
• 24:33
Speaker 1: a conviction, are they just going to choose where they
• 24:35
Speaker 1: send These people that have been convicted, because that's not
• 24:39
Speaker 1: how it worked previously, that was up to the BOP.
• 24:43
Speaker 1: But now it's going to be up to the Attorney General?
• 24:48
Speaker 1: The letter also says the new policy raises troubling questions
• 24:51
Speaker 1: about the scope of the Attorney General's asserted authority, the
• 24:55
Speaker 1: circumstances under which his authority may be exercised, and the
• 24:59
Speaker 1: potential effects on institutional operations, fairness, transparency, and consistency in
• 25:04
Speaker 1: federal prisoner placement decisions. Well, yeah, what it does is
• 25:09
Speaker 1: it sets it up for people to get hooked up.
• 25:11
Speaker 1: Everybody should be treated the same. And the Deputy Attorney
• 25:14
Speaker 1: General shouldn't be going to see Glenn Maxwell. And then
• 25:18
Speaker 1: Glenn Maxwell shouldn't be getting favorable treatment on the back
• 25:21
Speaker 1: end of that. Especially in the light of Maxwell's transfer,
• 25:25
Speaker 1: the letter continues, any policy update warrants careful scrutiny by
• 25:29
Speaker 1: Congress and the public, 1,000%. Did they really think they
• 25:33
Speaker 1: were going to slide this by? Did they really think
• 25:36
Speaker 1: that they were just going to retroactively change this? And
• 25:40
Speaker 1: all of us are going to be like, oh, look,
• 25:41
Speaker 1: that's what the law says. Now, there's going to be
• 25:43
Speaker 1: a portion of people that say that, you know, the
• 25:46
Speaker 1: hoax people, the people that will do whatever Donald Trump
• 25:49
Speaker 1: tells them. Oh, yeah, those people, they'll say it. Well, look,
• 25:53
Speaker 1: this is a policy that's in place. There's nothing amiss here.
• 25:57
Speaker 1: There's no cover up. Most transparent administration in history. The
• 26:01
Speaker 1: letter is co-signed by Representative Jamie Raskin of Maryland, who
• 26:04
Speaker 1: is poised to become the next chairman of the House
• 26:07
Speaker 1: Judiciary Committee if Democrats win control of the chamber in November,
• 26:12
Speaker 1: and Representative Ro Khanna, who spearheaded the congressional effort to
• 26:16
Speaker 1: force the release of the Epstein files. MS Now separately
• 26:20
Speaker 1: reached out to the DOJ and the Federal Bureau of
• 26:23
Speaker 1: Prisons to ask for an explanation of the policy change.
• 26:26
Speaker 1: Neither agency responded. The demand for answers from House Democrats
• 26:30
Speaker 1: comes as Blanche, Trump's pick to serve as the next
• 26:33
Speaker 1: Attorney General, is staring down the Senate confirmation process. God,
• 26:39
Speaker 1: I really hope they don't confirm him. I really hope.
• 26:42
Speaker 1: I mean, they will, because way too many people are
• 26:45
Speaker 1: willing to do whatever Donald Trump says, but they shouldn't.
• 26:49
Speaker 1: You guys thought that fucking Merrick Garland was bad? Wait
• 26:53
Speaker 1: until you get a load of Todd Blanche. Ross told
• 26:57
Speaker 1: MSNOW that, provided the Bureau of Prisons does not respond
• 27:00
Speaker 1: to their House inquiry, Democrats will urge their Senate colleagues
• 27:03
Speaker 1: to ask Blanche about the prison policy change when it
• 27:07
Speaker 1: comes time for his confirmation hearing. We hope it comes up,
• 27:10
Speaker 1: she said. And they should. Everything should be on the table.
• 27:15
Speaker 1: When you're having a confirmation hearing, everything should be on
• 27:18
Speaker 1: the table. And they need to bring it up. Getting
• 27:22
Speaker 1: to the bottom of the policy revision, she said, will
• 27:25
Speaker 1: also likely be part of the Democratic efforts next year
• 27:28
Speaker 1: to conduct oversight of the Trump White House and its
• 27:31
Speaker 1: handling of the Epstein case should they win control of
• 27:34
Speaker 1: the House and the committee gavels in November's midterms. You
• 27:38
Speaker 1: can be sure of it, she said. And look, these
• 27:40
Speaker 1: Democrats have been talking a big game. Big game. And
• 27:45
Speaker 1: if they do win when the midterms come rolling around,
• 27:48
Speaker 1: they're going to be held accountable for what they have said.
• 27:51
Speaker 1: And if you think that I'm giving them a pass...
• 27:54
Speaker 1: You're crazy. I'm not. They're going to have to step
• 27:57
Speaker 1: up to the plate. And they're going to have to
• 27:59
Speaker 1: do everything they said they were going to do. And
• 28:01
Speaker 1: I wish I could tell you that I'm confident that
• 28:03
Speaker 1: that's the case. But I'm not. Because at this point,
• 28:08
Speaker 1: I'm in show me mode. I don't care what any
• 28:10
Speaker 1: of these people tell us. Let's see the proof. Let's
• 28:13
Speaker 1: see the evidence. Because when you chop it all up,
• 28:16
Speaker 1: words are just wind. That's it. They don't mean anything
• 28:19
Speaker 1: if there's no follow through. So if the Democrats win
• 28:22
Speaker 1: the midterms, they'll have a chance to put their money
• 28:24
Speaker 1: where their mouth is. The question is, will they have
• 28:27
Speaker 1: the courage to do it? All the information that goes
• 28:31
Speaker 1: with this episode can be found in the description box.
• 28:34
Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome to another episode of the
• 28:37
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. When Pam Bondi gave her testimony to Congress,
• 28:44
Speaker 1: we had several members of the Democratic Caucus tell us
• 28:48
Speaker 1: that Pam Bondi was blaming Todd Blanche for overseeing the
• 28:53
Speaker 1: entire rollout of the Epstein files. And of course, Pam
• 28:57
Speaker 1: Bondi said that wasn't true. Well, according to the transcripts,
• 29:01
Speaker 1: I know this is going to shock you, but Pam
• 29:03
Speaker 1: Bondi wasn't exactly truthful. Because she most certainly was trying
• 29:08
Speaker 1: to blame Todd Blanche. So before we dive into those transcripts,
• 29:12
Speaker 1: we have an article from The Guardian going a little
• 29:15
Speaker 1: bit deeper on the topic. So with that said, let's
• 29:18
Speaker 1: dive right in. This article was published by The Guardian
• 29:22
Speaker 1: and the headline, Pam Bondi claims Todd Blanche was in
• 29:26
Speaker 1: charge of entire release of the Epstein files. This article
• 29:30
Speaker 1: was authored by Anna Betts. Former Attorney General Pam Bondi
• 29:35
Speaker 1: told lawmakers that Todd Blanche, the man Donald Trump, has
• 29:38
Speaker 1: lined up to replace her, was in charge of the U.S.
• 29:41
Speaker 1: Department of Justice controversial handling of the Jeffrey Epstein case.
• 29:46
Speaker 1: Always pass the buck, right? Never me. I was busy
• 29:49
Speaker 1: watching the Dow. I had nothing to do with this.
• 29:52
Speaker 1: You better talk to Todd baby Billy Blanche. No honor
• 29:56
Speaker 1: amongst thieves, right? and certainly no self-responsibility amongst politicians. Appearing
• 30:04
Speaker 1: before the House Oversight and Reform Committee, which is investigating
• 30:07
Speaker 1: the late financier, pedophile, and convicted sex offender, Bondi also
• 30:12
Speaker 1: said she was not certain of the extent that Trump
• 30:14
Speaker 1: knew about the crimes of Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, the
• 30:17
Speaker 1: longtime associate of Epstein, who was serving a 20-year sentence
• 30:22
Speaker 1: for sex trafficking crimes before they became public. Oh, he
• 30:25
Speaker 1: had no idea. Because look, there were no signs. Jeffrey
• 30:29
Speaker 1: Epstein was just, you know, an average guy. Doing average
• 30:33
Speaker 1: guy things, said nobody ever. Like, for real? The whole
• 30:38
Speaker 1: entire we had no idea shit is so ridiculous and
• 30:42
Speaker 1: so offensive that it's not even funny. Abigail Jackson, the
• 30:47
Speaker 1: White House spokesperson, claimed in a statement on Thursday that
• 30:51
Speaker 1: Trump had been totally exonerated on anything relating to Epstein.
• 30:56
Speaker 1: when contacted for comment on Bondi's testimony. Yeah, what about
• 30:59
Speaker 1: the cover-up that's going on? You notice they don't talk
• 31:02
Speaker 1: about that, right? And that should be your clue. The
• 31:05
Speaker 1: things they don't want to talk about, those are the
• 31:07
Speaker 1: things you should be pressing on. And the fact that
• 31:10
Speaker 1: there's a cover-up going on right now is kind of
• 31:13
Speaker 1: a big deal. And all these people that were yelling
• 31:16
Speaker 1: about accountability, about Hunter Biden, about this, about that, they
• 31:21
Speaker 1: sure are quiet now, aren't they? I mean, literally. This
• 31:24
Speaker 1: is the most corruption I have ever seen from an administration.
• 31:28
Speaker 1: All these fools are getting rich hand over fist. There's
• 31:30
Speaker 1: no accountability. And certainly the country is not moving in
• 31:33
Speaker 1: a direction that is beneficial to most of us. But
• 31:37
Speaker 1: the trap has always been to talk about the most
• 31:39
Speaker 1: salacious allegations when it comes to Trump. And considering it's
• 31:43
Speaker 1: he said, she said, those are easy to defend. But
• 31:47
Speaker 1: when you hammer these people on the cover up, they
• 31:49
Speaker 1: don't have any kind of logical defense. And when you're
• 31:52
Speaker 1: going after people like this, you have to look for
• 31:55
Speaker 1: a weakness in the armor. And in this case, it's
• 31:58
Speaker 1: the cover-up. When it was Al Capone, it was taxes.
• 32:02
Speaker 1: You have to find your entry point. And from there, well,
• 32:06
Speaker 1: you can exploit whatever was going on maybe as law enforcement.
• 32:10
Speaker 1: But they've never even done that. And that's because, well,
• 32:13
  Speaker 1: it's a cover-up. Blanche, who served as Bondi's deputy at
• 32:17
Speaker 1: the Justice Department, was responsible for the entire release of
• 32:20
Speaker 1: the Epstein files, Bondi claimed, according to a transcript released
• 32:24
Speaker 1: by the committee on Thursday. Blanche was appointed as acting
• 32:29
Speaker 1: attorney general following Bondi's ouster, and Trump said this week
• 32:33
Speaker 1: he planned to nominate him for the role permanently. Well, yeah,
• 32:36
Speaker 1: gotta keep the cover-up going. Gotta make sure that Ghislaine
• 32:39
Speaker 1: Maxwell's buddy, Todd Blanche, is still in a position to
• 32:42
Speaker 1: where Donald Trump can try and rely on testimony from
• 32:45
Speaker 1: Ghislaine Maxwell. You know, like he's doing when it comes
• 32:48
Speaker 1: to the battle with Wall Street Journal. Imagine relying on
• 32:51
Speaker 1: Ghislaine Maxwell's lion ass to help bolster your case. Tell
• 32:56
Speaker 1: me you can't make your argument without telling me. Last week,
• 33:02
Speaker 1: Bondi faced questions about the Justice Department's handling of the
• 33:05
Speaker 1: Epstein files during her tenure. Her appearance came as the
• 33:08
Speaker 1: department continues to face scrutiny over the files and its
• 33:12
Speaker 1: compliance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act. which mandated the
• 33:16
Speaker 1: release of Epstein-related records held by the department, and they
• 33:20
Speaker 1: still haven't complied. All these months later, still haven't complied.
• 33:26
Speaker 1: And the fact that people's names are redacted inside of
• 33:29
Speaker 1: the files is ridiculous. All of the people that were
• 33:32
Speaker 1: involved in the decision-making, their names should be public knowledge.
• 33:36
Speaker 1: They were all public officials, right? They were all being
• 33:39
Speaker 1: paid by taxpayer dollars, right? So how about some taxpayer accountability?
• 33:44
Speaker 1: Course not. Go get effed. Make sure your money's in
• 33:47
Speaker 1: there on time though before you get nailed with penalties.
• 33:50
Speaker 1: I'm tired of it. I'm tired of the whole entire
• 33:53
Speaker 1: song and dance. And I'm sick of being a puppet
• 33:56
Speaker 1: on a string. And you know what else I'm sick of?
• 33:59
Speaker 1: The people out there telling you that it's all okay.
• 34:02
Speaker 1: That everything that's happening is normal. None of this shit
• 34:06
Speaker 1: is normal. None of it. And the amount of damage
• 34:09
Speaker 1: that's being done right now geopolitically and domestically is incalculable.
• 34:15
Speaker 1: Last week, Bondi faced questions about the Justice Department's handling
• 34:19
Speaker 1: of the Epstein files during her tenure. Her appearance came
• 34:22
Speaker 1: as the department continues to face scrutiny over the files
• 34:26
Speaker 1: and its compliance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which
• 34:29
Speaker 1: mandated the release of the Epstein-related records held by the department.
• 34:34
Speaker 1: The department has maintained it acted in accordance with the law. No,
• 34:38
Speaker 1: it has not. Several lawmakers on both sides of the aisle,
• 34:42
Speaker 1: as well as survivors of Epstein's abuse, have criticized some
• 34:46
Speaker 1: of the department's actions and raised concerns over certain redactions
• 34:50
Speaker 1: and the disclosure of sensitive personal information in the files.
• 34:55
Speaker 1: I mean, you blame them? Imagine you're somebody who didn't
• 34:58
Speaker 1: want your name out there, and then Pam Bondi and
• 35:01
Speaker 1: her band of buffoons out you? Meanwhile, they protect everybody else.
• 35:06
Speaker 1: But I know, just another accident, another coincidence. In her
• 35:12
Speaker 1: opening statement and throughout her testimony, Bondi defended the Justice
• 35:16
Speaker 1: Department's handling of the records under her leadership, at the
• 35:19
Speaker 1: same time working to distance herself from the release and
• 35:23
Speaker 1: review of the files, saying that she did not lead
• 35:26
Speaker 1: every aspect of the department's effort, but that it was
• 35:29
Speaker 1: Blanche who oversaw it. Of course it was. And you
• 35:31
Speaker 1: know how Jeffrey Epstein had Darren Indyke? Well, President Trump
• 35:37
Speaker 1: has baby Billy Blanche. His whole entire function is... It's
• 35:40
Speaker 1: to defend Trump. That's it. Nothing more, nothing less. Not
• 35:44
Speaker 1: about you or me. Not about pursuing justice. Not about
• 35:47
Speaker 1: hammering people who actually commit crime. No. It's about protecting Trump.
• 35:56
Speaker 1: He was in charge of the process and the entire
• 35:58
Speaker 1: release of the Epstein files, she told lawmakers on May 29th.
• 36:02
Speaker 1: In her opening statement, she also said that she did
• 36:05
Speaker 1: not conduct that document review myself and told the panel,
• 36:08
Speaker 1: that she delegated oversight of the process to Blanche. Of
• 36:12
Speaker 1: course she did. Donald Trump wanted Blanche to take care
• 36:15
Speaker 1: of it, because that's his guy. And he knew that
• 36:18
Speaker 1: Blanche was willing to play ball. In my opinion, Blanche
• 36:21
Speaker 1: is corrupt. And all the people that were out here
• 36:24
Speaker 1: yelling and screaming about Merrick Garland, who, by the way,
• 36:27
Speaker 1: was a numbskull and a piece of work, they should
• 36:30
Speaker 1: be screaming bloody murder about Todd Blanche. But they won't,
• 36:34
Speaker 1: because they're hypocrites. and all the people out here that
• 36:37
Speaker 1: put party before country, they can all get stuffed. Your
• 36:40
Speaker 1: dumbass political party means nothing in the grand scheme. Bondi
• 36:46
Speaker 1: acknowledged that there were redaction errors in the release, but
• 36:49
Speaker 1: insisted that since day one of the process, the department
• 36:52
Speaker 1: has been committed to accountability and transparency. During a break
• 36:57
Speaker 1: in questioning last week, several Democratic lawmakers told reporters that
• 37:01
Speaker 1: Bondi was telling them that it was Blanche that was
• 37:03
Speaker 1: leading the Epstein investigation, And quite frankly, all the mistakes
• 37:07
Speaker 1: that we saw, the redactions, not protecting survivors, she continues
• 37:12
Speaker 1: to push that back on the acting AG Todd Blanche. Yo, look,
• 37:16
Speaker 1: somebody made the mistake. Pam Bondi was the boss at
• 37:20
Speaker 1: the time, so she's holding the bag as far as
• 37:22
Speaker 1: I'm concerned. Anything that happened after that, well, that's Todd
• 37:27
Speaker 1: baby Billy Blanche's problem. But there's plenty of blame to
• 37:32
Speaker 1: go around here. And I blame both of these people.
• 37:37
Speaker 1: They're both in on the cover-up. Afterward, Bondi pushed back
• 37:41
Speaker 1: on the characterization in a social media post calling it
• 37:44
Speaker 1: not true and said that she praised acting A.G. Blanche
• 37:48
Speaker 1: management of this Herculean task. That does not really seem
• 37:52
Speaker 1: to be the case. Seems to be that Bondi certainly
• 37:56
Speaker 1: was blaming Todd Blanche. And I think you'll see that
• 37:59
Speaker 1: when we start going through these transcripts. In the transcript,
• 38:06
Speaker 1: Bondi can be seen making the claims the Democrats had
• 38:08
Speaker 1: made during the break and denying that she was blaming
• 38:11
Speaker 1: anything on Todd. Todd Blanche is one of the most
• 38:14
Speaker 1: highly ethical individuals I know, and I think he's making
• 38:18
Speaker 1: an incredible acting attorney general. She said in her testimony,
• 38:22
Speaker 1: and he managed this investigation, and it was a Herculean
• 38:25
Speaker 1: task with very little error. Oh yeah? Tell that to
• 38:29
Speaker 1: the girls who were exposed. Tell that to the people
• 38:32
Speaker 1: who were hurt by this. Well, maybe after you tell
• 38:36
Speaker 1: us about the Dow. If formally nominated by Trump to
• 38:41
Speaker 1: be the Attorney General on a permanent basis, Blanche would
• 38:44
Speaker 1: require confirmation from the U.S. Senate. Oh, he'll get it.
• 38:48
Speaker 1: All those people will just duck walk for Trump. I mean,
• 38:52
Speaker 1: that's all they do. They don't have a backbone, no spine.
• 38:55
Speaker 1: They're all scared of him. During Bondi's testimony last week,
• 39:02
Speaker 1: She also told lawmakers that she learned of the controversial
• 39:05
Speaker 1: prison transfer of Maxwell through news reports after it happened, claiming,
• 39:09
Speaker 1: I had nothing to do with that. Hold on, what
• 39:12
Speaker 1: does that even mean? Pam Bondi's the AG. She's in
• 39:18
Speaker 1: charge of all of it. She had no idea what
• 39:20
Speaker 1: was happening. So what she's inferring here, at least as
• 39:23
Speaker 1: far as I can tell, is that command came from
• 39:26
Speaker 1: above her. So who's above the AG? Well, the president
• 39:30
Speaker 1: of the United States. So did Donald Trump order the
• 39:34
Speaker 1: transfer of Ghislaine Maxwell? I have questions. Asked whether Maxwell
• 39:39
Speaker 1: should receive a pardon, Bondi replied no, adding that Maxwell
• 39:43
Speaker 1: was a monster. I believe she should die in prison,
• 39:46
Speaker 1: said Bondi. Well, I agree with that. That is something
• 39:49
Speaker 1: that I definitely agree with. Because Ghislaine Maxwell is as
• 39:53
Speaker 1: evil as Epstein. And people need to really get that
• 39:57
Speaker 1: through their heads. Throughout the interview, Bondi also declined to
• 40:00
Speaker 1: discuss any conversations with Trump, saying she would not comment
• 40:04
Speaker 1: on discussions she had with the U.S. president. In one exchange,
• 40:08
Speaker 1: lawmakers asked Bondi whether upon taking office, any victim or
• 40:12
Speaker 1: victim attorneys reached out to the department. Yes, Bondi replied.
• 40:17
Speaker 1: When asked how many, she said she couldn't recall and added,
• 40:20
Speaker 1: I know multiple, there were multiple victims, and many of
• 40:23
Speaker 1: which I believe the majority are represented by attorneys. Did
• 40:27
Speaker 1: you meet with them personally, or would that have been
• 40:29
Speaker 1: something that Todd Blanche would have done? Lawmakers asked Bondi,
• 40:33
Speaker 1: to which he responded, no, I spoke to one attorney,
• 40:36
Speaker 1: I cannot recall her name. Imagine being the Attorney General
• 40:39
Speaker 1: and not wanting to speak to the survivors themselves. Like
• 40:43
Speaker 1: what are we doing here? and how is it that
• 40:46
Speaker 1: some people can't see the forest through the trees and
• 40:48
Speaker 1: see that this is a cover-up? I spoke to her,
• 40:51
Speaker 1: and I believe I referred her to the FBI, she added.
• 40:53
Speaker 1: You know, when a victim is represented, you go through
• 40:56
Speaker 1: their attorney. Bondi's appearance before the committee followed weeks of
• 40:59
Speaker 1: back and forth between the former attorney general and lawmakers
• 41:03
Speaker 1: on the committee. In the wake of Bondi's testimony, Democrats
• 41:07
Speaker 1: are urging the representative, James Comer, the Republican who chairs
• 41:11
Speaker 1: the committee, to bring Blanche and the FBI director, Kash Patel,
• 41:15
Speaker 1: to also answer questions as part of the panel's investigation
• 41:19
Speaker 1: into the Epstein case. That's a good idea. Let's have
• 41:23
Speaker 1: everybody come in. But they're just going to give us
• 41:26
Speaker 1: the same old BS. But even still, getting them on
• 41:29
Speaker 1: the record, telling bullshit lies, I think that's a good thing.
• 41:33
Speaker 1: Because later on down the road, that'll help set the
• 41:35
Speaker 1: record straight. And if there's an investigation later on down
• 41:38
Speaker 1: the road, I think it's important to have all the information,
• 41:42
Speaker 1: all the testimony that we possibly can, That way, if
• 41:46
Speaker 1: people told us bullshit lies, they're held accountable. So it's
• 41:49
Speaker 1: important to have the record. Now, if they're going to
• 41:52
Speaker 1: do anything with that record and try and find that accountability, well,
• 41:56
Speaker 1: that's a whole different story. So like I said, the
• 41:59
Speaker 1: transcripts from Pam Bondi, we're going to start diving into
• 42:02
Speaker 1: those today. And then over the next few days, we'll
• 42:05
Speaker 1: get those added. And we'll also start taking a look
• 42:08
Speaker 1: at the transcript from Tova Noel. So until then, that's
• 42:12
Speaker 1: going to do it for this one. All the information
• 42:14
Speaker 1: that goes with this episode can be found in the
• 42:17
  Speaker 1: description box.
