Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: You're listening to news talks, hebi, it's twenty seven after five. Question,
- 0:05Speaker 1: how did the Greens save money on marketing photo shoot
- 0:07Speaker 1: costs for the next election? Answer? Just use their candidates
- 0:11Speaker 1: mug shots. It's just a joke, people, Okay, don't get
- 0:15Speaker 1: too freaked out. Though not all criminals. But there were
- 0:19Speaker 1: a few criminally absurd things that happened during yesterday's press
- 0:22Speaker 1: conference about Darlene Taner Number one. Chloe, Well, she got
- 0:26Speaker 1: a bit grumpy, didn't she And you could see it
- 0:28Speaker 1: on her face when a reporter asked repeatedly why the
- 0:32Speaker 1: Greens are asking Tana to resign and shunning her in
- 0:35Speaker 1: public when old mate Julianne Genta is still in the
- 0:39Speaker 1: party despite multiple aggressive bullying allegations. The implication of the
- 0:42Speaker 1: question was that the Greens must be a bit racist
- 0:45Speaker 1: towards Tana because she is why Hennah maldy, she's moldy.
- 0:48Speaker 1: And Chloe was outraged by this. You could see it
- 0:51Speaker 1: in her face, you could hear it in her answer.
- 0:53Speaker 1: She rejected it, she refuted it. It was reductive, all
- 0:56Speaker 1: that kind of stuff Tana has done. X y Z
- 0:59Speaker 1: Julieta did ABC. There are differences the irony of the
- 1:03Speaker 1: party that's perhaps best known for calling everyone else in
- 1:06Speaker 1: the room racist till they're blue in the face. Being
- 1:09Speaker 1: accused themselves of racism over not one in Tana, but
- 1:13Speaker 1: two in Ketty Ketty and three and two day if
- 1:16Speaker 1: you go that far back, was almost too much for
- 1:19Speaker 1: the new co leader to take. The second thing, it
- 1:21Speaker 1: was interesting from that pressy yesterday. The second thing to
- 1:24Speaker 1: note here is how little we actually know about what
- 1:28Speaker 1: has gone on and how much Tanna was involved. The
- 1:31Speaker 1: Greens won't say what was in the report. The report
- 1:33Speaker 1: is not public. Tanna rejects the report's findings. She says
- 1:36Speaker 1: it doesn't substantiate any claims of migrant exploitation, let alone
- 1:40Speaker 1: her alleged involvement in them. So there was a lot
- 1:43Speaker 1: here that we still don't know, answers we don't have,
- 1:48Speaker 1: but a lesson for Chloe in political absurdity, expediency, no doubt,
- 1:53Speaker 1: and how to save money with a mug shot. For
