- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey guys, welcome back to Wisecracks. Bill Crackerburger, John Orlando. Here,
- 0:03Speaker 1: fabulous Westgate. They're getting ready. Man, I walked in today.
- 0:07Speaker 1: It was so loud. You got some of these conference
- 0:09Speaker 1: tournaments going on. Some of these games start eight to
- 0:11Speaker 1: nine in the morning, so I could just see a
- 0:13Speaker 1: little bit of a crowd here. But you know, JNHR
- 0:15Speaker 1: producers said something. He's right, this is really an undervalued
- 0:19Speaker 1: time of the year because really you get great seats here,
- 0:23Speaker 1: hang out and watch some great games. You know, we
- 0:26Speaker 1: love the Westgate. They have been sold out for a
- 0:29Speaker 1: while for next week's games. It's going to be get
- 0:31Speaker 1: really crazy in town.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Since before even super Bowl it starts. I didn't realize
- 0:35Speaker 2: that the demand for seats.
- 0:37Speaker 1: Oh yeah, oh yeah, definitely, definitely. As a matter of fact,
- 0:40Speaker 1: I was just reading. I just told you guys, it's
- 0:42Speaker 1: amazing the March madness volume that happens here. I didn't
- 0:47Speaker 1: even know. Super Bowl generated one point four billion in
- 0:50Speaker 1: handle last month. March madness is going to reach over
- 0:54Speaker 1: four billion this year, so you're talking about three times more.
- 0:59Speaker 1: It's it makes it the most bet on event to
- 1:02Speaker 1: win on the US sports calendar of the year. You know,
- 1:06Speaker 1: you could say the sports of the Super Bowl is
- 1:09Speaker 1: the most bet on one off game, but as far
- 1:12Speaker 1: as betting, March Madness definitely number one. And then they're
- 1:16Speaker 1: expecting about a seven percent increase from last year. This
- 1:21Speaker 1: tax implications for betters has not hurt at all. The industry.
- 1:25Speaker 1: People are still firing, they're still betting. You know, they're
- 1:29Speaker 1: they're not worried about this big beautiful bill tax changes,
- 1:32Speaker 1: but of course it doesn't affect them yet. So and
- 1:35Speaker 1: what that means, guys is, you know, they have this
- 1:39Speaker 1: new rule where you're only allowed to if you win
- 1:42Speaker 1: twenty thousand, but you lose twenty thousand, you're still paying
- 1:44Speaker 1: tax on two thousand dollars. Crazy, it's crazy. You can
- 1:47Speaker 1: only deduct eighteen thousand. The rfoxcess change. Yeah, I thought
- 1:52Speaker 1: they were gonna like that this year. I can't. I
- 1:56Speaker 1: don't think. I think it's not gonna. I think it's
- 1:58Speaker 1: gonna it's gonna go on the books for this year.
- 2:00Speaker 1: You're gonna have to pay taxes on this. Not that
- 2:04Speaker 1: you're gonna have to worry, but but the I R
- 2:07Speaker 1: S looks at that, like literally looks at that two
- 2:10Speaker 1: thousand dollars as even though you're you're you're you're broke.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Even though we're using the twenty thousand dollars number, they
- 2:17Speaker 1: still look at that two thousand has taxable income even
- 2:20Speaker 1: though you've made zero profit. It's actually unheard of. You're right,
- 2:24Speaker 1: it's that doesn't make any sense to anybody except for
- 2:27Speaker 1: these politicians that know nothing except for raising money, and uh,
- 2:31Speaker 1: you know, this is one of their ways to raise money.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Speaking of raising money, I grew up around Mommouth Park,
- 2:38Speaker 1: New Jersey as a team, and I went there a
- 2:41Speaker 1: lot lots of times. Now, let's say Caesars Sports Book there,
- 2:45Speaker 1: and they're actually looking at the state owns the place
- 2:51Speaker 1: it's run by then raising we got Mammoth Park Racetrack.
- 2:55Speaker 1: It's owned by New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority, but
- 3:00Speaker 1: it's operated by big businessman Dennis Dresen and Dreson along
- 3:04Speaker 1: with his development partner Morris Belly, that they owned. He
- 3:08Speaker 1: owns Resorts casino in Atlantic City, and it has plans
- 3:13Speaker 1: now to transform Mommouth Park into an entertainment destination and
- 3:19Speaker 1: of course that means a casino. So they're gonna they
- 3:22Speaker 1: want they want to build a shopping mall, a casino,
- 3:26Speaker 1: baseball fields, the indoor paddle courts, tennis, pickle ball, five
- 3:31Speaker 1: hundred apartments. Trying to develop this thing basically though.
- 3:35Speaker 3: Wow, like a residential thing too.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Yeah, listen, I will tell you that Mammoth Mammoth Momouth County,
- 3:41Speaker 1: New Jersey one of the nicest counties I've ever been
- 3:45Speaker 1: into my life. Of course, I lived in the poorest
- 3:48Speaker 1: town in the county, but I grew up in Kingsburg
- 3:51Speaker 1: on the boardwalk Jersey Shore, and that town is it's
- 3:56Speaker 1: going through some transformation also, knocking down some of the
- 3:59Speaker 1: old buildings. It's all beach front property property. So they're
- 4:03Speaker 1: trying to revitalize that town too. But that's a tough town.
- 4:06Speaker 1: Tough town, and it's blue collar county for the most part.
- 4:12Speaker 1: But they have these sections of Mammouth County, you know,
- 4:15Speaker 1: the rumps and fair Havens, the Colt Snack Home del
- 4:20Speaker 1: really nice areas where there. Yeah, that's where the Garden
- 4:25Speaker 1: State Art Center is. They call it something else now, but.
- 4:29Speaker 2: My dad does a show there, like almost every night show.
- 4:32Speaker 1: I want to say people, yeah, oh yeah, you can
- 4:35Speaker 1: sit on the on the like a garden. It's beautiful
- 4:37Speaker 1: right right off the Parkway exit one between one fourteen
- 4:41Speaker 1: and one seventeen. Like, actually, I think it's an has
- 4:44Speaker 1: its own to exit. There were one sixteen and that's
- 4:48Speaker 1: the one and only time I've seen Sinatra. That's where
- 4:50Speaker 1: I've seen him, So I've seen him right there. Yeah,
- 4:52Speaker 1: that's a great, great venue. But the town itself is
- 4:55Speaker 1: really nice. I used to work at a cemetery there,
- 4:57Speaker 1: believe it or not. I worked at Homedale Cemetery. That's yeah,
- 5:00Speaker 1: that's crazy. Yep, yeap. I sold cemetery of property.
- 5:02Speaker 3: Yeah, oh you sold.
- 5:03Speaker 1: I sold cemetary of property. Really yeah, yep. People the
- 5:06Speaker 1: old joke, people dying to get in. Yeah, yeah, no,
- 5:10Speaker 1: that was one of my many jobs.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Yeah, that's like a commissioned yes, I think, because you're upselling.
- 5:17Speaker 3: Wow.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Yeah, they have malem mausoleums going on, which they have
- 5:19Speaker 1: many mausoleums there now. But yeah, that was one of
- 5:22Speaker 1: my jobs. John, John, I worked, I worked. I wasn't.
- 5:24Speaker 2: That's what got you into the cemetery thing, or you
- 5:26Speaker 2: were already into it and that's why you went to
- 5:28Speaker 2: work at this.
- 5:28Speaker 1: I don't know. I think I was. I think I
- 5:30Speaker 1: would know. I was definitely working I was twenty one
- 5:32Speaker 1: years old. I think I was working there and then
- 5:35Speaker 1: the cemetery thing happened after. But I loved the old
- 5:39Speaker 1: graves in that cemetery too. I like, I like old graves.
- 5:42Speaker 1: So you go up to the Boston, New England area,
- 5:44Speaker 1: the graves there are unbelievable. How many you have graves
- 5:47Speaker 1: there are three four hundred years old. They're unbelievable to
- 5:49Speaker 1: see those old graves still have lasted all that time. Yeah, mausoleums,
- 5:55Speaker 1: and and there's some mausoleum videos on the internet. YouTube
- 5:59Speaker 1: has a there's a guy on YouTube that has a
- 6:02Speaker 1: channel with like Arthur Dark Black Dark, I think his
- 6:07Speaker 1: name is he He he literally has like gets millions
- 6:12Speaker 1: and millions of views. So yeah, no, And then there's
- 6:15Speaker 1: cemetery tours. There's cemetery you know, it's it's it's it's
- 6:21Speaker 1: becoming more popular. And I'll tell you why. Now. When
- 6:25Speaker 1: I go, I see a lot of people. I've been
- 6:28Speaker 1: doing this for thirty years, thirty five years. No one,
- 6:30Speaker 1: there was never a lot of people that you knew,
- 6:32Speaker 1: you mean, no, no, just people in the cemetery like visiting,
- 6:35Speaker 1: like you know, the famous one. I like to go
- 6:39Speaker 1: to his peers Brothers Westwood where Marilyn Monroe, Dean markin.
- 6:42Speaker 1: Lots of people though, there's so much Rodney Dangerfield.
- 6:45Speaker 3: Freddy Prinz is there right, I don't know, No, I
- 6:47Speaker 3: don't know.
- 6:48Speaker 1: Okay, that might be a different one, but there's lots
- 6:50Speaker 1: of It's a real tiny cemetery in the back of
- 6:52Speaker 1: high rises and buildings right there. Uh. And that one
- 6:57Speaker 1: has more people now that they There was maybe one
- 7:00Speaker 1: or two people walking around the five six times I went,
- 7:03Speaker 1: last two times, there's been a lot more people. So, yeah,
- 7:05Speaker 1: this is the guy Hollywood.
- 7:07Speaker 3: This is a dumb question.
- 7:08Speaker 1: I'm sure.
- 7:08Speaker 3: Yeah, you don't pay them go oh yeah.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Hollywood Graveyard. Yeah, this guy is is really His channel's fantastic.
- 7:19Speaker 1: I actually donated to his channel that that's him, Arthur
- 7:22Speaker 1: Dark Yeah, cool guy. He does the greatest videos on
- 7:28Speaker 1: different things like and he also saves like there was
- 7:32Speaker 1: the guy that played Santa Claus in the Marathlon thirty
- 7:35Speaker 1: fourth Street.
- 7:35Speaker 3: Yep, sorry I don't.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Know his name. He was a you know the yeah,
- 7:39Speaker 1: iconic role, iconic role.
- 7:41Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 7:42Speaker 1: I had no family when he died and was just
- 7:45Speaker 1: cremated the city cremated him for free and left him
- 7:48Speaker 1: in a storage unit with like literally two thousand other creamines.
- 7:54Speaker 1: They were just in there in a box with his
- 7:55Speaker 1: name on it for forty years. Nobody nobody, uh yeah,
- 8:00Speaker 1: no one, No one cared about it. And Arthur actually
- 8:05Speaker 1: got a mozzle, a little crip for him, a little niche,
- 8:08Speaker 1: little niche for him. He raised money, and yeah, it
- 8:11Speaker 1: was really cool, really cool. He does that for a
- 8:13Speaker 1: lot of you know, he raises money for that, that
- 8:15Speaker 1: type of stuff though, And that's that's the Santa Claus
- 8:17Speaker 1: thing there. Edmund Edmund and Glenn Gwen Gwen Edmund Gwen,
- 8:23Speaker 1: Edmund Gwen. Yeah, it's amazing his story too, Like he
- 8:26Speaker 1: was in a lot of movies. He was a bigger,
- 8:28Speaker 1: bigger actor. That was a giant role for him. And
- 8:31Speaker 1: just to die with no family and have no one
- 8:33Speaker 1: to even pay for your cremation.
- 8:36Speaker 2: And when you say it, a storage like literally like
- 8:38Speaker 2: a storage they have like they have these medical.
- 8:42Speaker 1: At certain cemeteries, these old cemeteries, they have these giant
- 8:47Speaker 1: rooms with boxes they look like sandy, dirty old boxes
- 8:52Speaker 1: with names on them. The people that were unclaimed, people
- 8:54Speaker 1: that the medical examiner just said, you know, it's cremate
- 8:57Speaker 1: him and put him in there. Yeah, actually he was warm.
- 9:00Speaker 1: And there was a couple stars, a couple of big
- 9:03Speaker 1: names believe it or not, from years ago that are
- 9:07Speaker 1: if you look at these videos of Hollywood Graveyard, he's
- 9:09Speaker 1: got a couple of videos of people that you would say,
- 9:11Speaker 1: no way that these people died so broke. And you
- 9:16Speaker 1: have a plot, No, no, no, I I do have
- 9:19Speaker 1: a plan to be cremated though and spread at different places.
- 9:23Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, you haven't plan.
- 9:24Speaker 2: That would have shocked me if you with all this,
- 9:26Speaker 2: if you have any I have.
- 9:28Speaker 1: A plan, I mean you know, yeah, yeah, you have
- 9:30Speaker 1: a plan.
- 9:31Speaker 3: I have no plan. Do I need a plan?
- 9:33Speaker 1: Yeah? Yeah, no, you should have, coff, but something happens,
- 9:36Speaker 1: you should have you should have.
- 9:38Speaker 3: You know, I have no plan.
- 9:40Speaker 1: You should You should tell your girlfriend what you want done? Yeah,
- 9:43Speaker 1: I'll stuff you.
- 9:46Speaker 3: Are you gonna come visit? Would you visit me? You visit?
- 9:48Speaker 1: Possible?
- 9:49Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 9:50Speaker 1: But I see your your friend mentioned you you know
- 9:56Speaker 1: about this? No?
- 9:59Speaker 3: You mean serious?
- 10:01Speaker 1: You don't know that that Mickey May Yeah I saw
- 10:04Speaker 1: that on a comment Yeah he said he yeah, it's
- 10:06Speaker 1: full of ship. It had ten thousand views, like right away,
- 10:09Speaker 1: fat Yeah, you know you're famous.
- 10:12Speaker 3: I don't know why he got so so but hurt
- 10:14Speaker 3: on it and he's full of ship.
- 10:15Speaker 1: Got the wrong thing. You don't know about the video.
- 10:18Speaker 3: Then, oh maybe I don't.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Sorry, this is brand new.
- 10:20Speaker 3: Maybe I know what is it?
- 10:21Speaker 1: He put a video up. Oh my good friend John
- 10:23Speaker 1: Orlando and he's Tony's son. He got cheating and black
- 10:27Speaker 1: he was playing black jacket. He was over he was
- 10:30Speaker 1: he was being overpaid by the dealer. Tell me you
- 10:32Speaker 1: don't know this what last night it was on. It's
- 10:35Speaker 1: not making that, I swear to you. Does he have
- 10:37Speaker 1: a channel? Listen, I'm not a good I'm not a
- 10:39Speaker 1: big fan of this guy. You know that, because he's
- 10:42Speaker 1: got a lot of he's got. It's a video the
- 10:48Speaker 1: story I told about, yeahs Vegas logan.
- 10:52Speaker 2: For him to deal with a cheating dealer.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Do you know about this?
- 10:56Speaker 3: I didn't know about it. No, I didn't know. He
- 10:58Speaker 3: posted that last.
- 10:59Speaker 1: Night last night. Yeah, he's looking he's getting desperate for this. Yeah,
- 11:03Speaker 1: seventeen thousand views.
- 11:05Speaker 3: Wild. No, he said some stupid shit about me a
- 11:07Speaker 3: couple of weeks ago.
- 11:08Speaker 1: Now that goes to show you the person.
- 11:10Speaker 2: Yeah, wait a minute, Yeah, he's a little fucking weasel.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Not a couple of weeks. Yeou John was last night.
- 11:16Speaker 3: I get it.
- 11:17Speaker 2: I'm telling you two weeks ago he said some stupid ship.
- 11:19Speaker 2: When I see him, we're going to talk about it.
- 11:20Speaker 2: I can tell you that when I see this little
- 11:22Speaker 2: motherfucking weasel, we're gonna talk about it.
- 11:25Speaker 1: I can tell you that I said, I didn't know
- 11:26Speaker 1: you were that close to myself. This is my good friend,
- 11:29Speaker 1: Gohen Orlando. Yeah, you know, honestly, the kid might have
- 11:33Speaker 1: to get a pass. A little something wrong with them,
- 11:35Speaker 1: I guess, so, you know, I mean, just hearing that,
- 11:37Speaker 1: and you know the stories.
- 11:40Speaker 3: He runs his mouth like he did a couple of weeks.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Ago, seven hundred thousand subscribers. He's making a ton of money. Yeah,
- 11:46Speaker 1: YouTube a ton. Yeah, I'm sure, but you know, I
- 11:49Speaker 1: can't believe some of the shows that he's on, and
- 11:51Speaker 1: people just want to believe people. I told you.
- 11:54Speaker 2: I think I told you that story though. Maybe yeah
- 11:57Speaker 2: about the dealer, this was in uh could.
- 11:59Speaker 1: Have cut out, maybe you was fine. Please thank you
- 12:02Speaker 1: for cutting me out.
- 12:03Speaker 3: It was in Tahoe. Oh, she was dealing double deck
- 12:06Speaker 3: out of her hand, and she's.
- 12:07Speaker 1: Getting a glimpse of the cards that she's dealing.
- 12:09Speaker 2: No, well at this weird angle, and she had this
- 12:13Speaker 2: like cut remember cousin it Hondy family with that flipped hair.
- 12:17Speaker 2: She had hair like that like that, And I think
- 12:20Speaker 2: sometimes she could peel the card and you wouldn't see
- 12:22Speaker 2: she's looking up. But also back then the chip tray,
- 12:26Speaker 2: her chip tray was polished brass.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Wow.
- 12:29Speaker 3: Now it's like a like a what would what would
- 12:32Speaker 3: the word be like a like a it's not shiny
- 12:35Speaker 3: meaning now today, But back then she could peel the card.
- 12:39Speaker 2: So I'd have like i'd have like a thirteen and
- 12:44Speaker 2: she's showing a six or anyone at the table, and
- 12:46Speaker 2: she'd go, you should take a hit. If you have
- 12:49Speaker 2: thirteen and they were showing a six, you're not.
- 12:51Speaker 3: Hitting right right, right right.
- 12:52Speaker 2: And then the person would would take the hit obviously,
- 12:55Speaker 2: and then like the next guy would have like a twelve,
- 12:57Speaker 2: he'd take a hit and it was an eight, okay, right.
- 12:59Speaker 3: So this kept going on.
- 13:00Speaker 2: And like she would go like, see, I told you
- 13:02Speaker 2: that would have been your eight, you know. So she
- 13:04Speaker 2: kept saying stuff like that and I and I realized, like, wait,
- 13:07Speaker 2: this isn't She's not just calling, you know how, like
- 13:09Speaker 2: sometimes randomly I'll go like Asad Diamonds. This It wasn't that.
- 13:13Speaker 2: This was like she one hundred percent knew what card
- 13:16Speaker 2: was coming. So she goes on a break and I
- 13:18Speaker 2: follow her and I go, hey, what the hell was that?
- 13:22Speaker 2: And she goes, yeah, just you know, I'm like Robin Hood,
- 13:26Speaker 2: I steal from the rich and I give to the poor.
- 13:28Speaker 1: Wow.
- 13:28Speaker 3: And I said, well, wow, we could get arrested. We
- 13:30Speaker 3: could crush it right now.
- 13:32Speaker 2: So I said arrest I saw, well, you know this
- 13:34Speaker 2: was a long time ago, but this is the nineties.
- 13:36Speaker 2: So I said, uh, I said, well, look, you're too
- 13:39Speaker 2: obvious about it, like with the talk, just if I said,
- 13:43Speaker 2: if I should take the card, bite your lip like this.
- 13:47Speaker 3: Right right right, you know, like yeah, thing whatever, bro let.
- 13:50Speaker 4: Me tell you some John fourteen watching fourteen K or
- 13:55Speaker 4: something that weekend. Yeah, I did, And then I went
- 13:57Speaker 4: back to a couple of weeks later, I even brought
- 14:00Speaker 4: Geo for Thanksgiving, my buddy Geo.
- 14:03Speaker 2: We flew out there. All of a sudden, I couldn't
- 14:05Speaker 2: get a hold of her and didn't see her. And
- 14:11Speaker 2: then when I finally did get in touch with her,
- 14:12Speaker 2: she said oh, I got caught a guy from the
- 14:14Speaker 2: Gaming Commission and blah blah blah.
- 14:16Speaker 3: But they let me go.
- 14:17Speaker 2: Because a month prior she got like an accolade for
- 14:21Speaker 2: catching a cheater. So her lawyer, so I actually got
- 14:24Speaker 2: her a lawyer. I got her a lawyer. This is
- 14:26Speaker 2: so sick, it's crazy story. And then they so then
- 14:30Speaker 2: they settled on just get out of town. So she
- 14:33Speaker 2: went back to Alaska where she was from. And I
- 14:37Speaker 2: felt bad. I said, hey, let me send you some
- 14:38Speaker 2: money because I felt bad, you know that you got caught.
- 14:41Speaker 2: And she said, no, it's okay. I'm opening up a
- 14:43Speaker 2: restaurant and I said yes. She said, yeah, I.
- 14:47Speaker 3: Did this for a long time. And we had a
- 14:49Speaker 3: very elaborate thing at the crafts table.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Think right, if the house was in on it, meaning
- 14:55Speaker 2: the dealers, the floor, the security, crafts, you could clean
- 14:59Speaker 2: a casino out right because the money's just flowing as well.
- 15:02Speaker 2: How much and she said like like half a million,
- 15:05Speaker 2: oh over three years or something like that.
- 15:07Speaker 1: Oh wow, yeah, wow, you know that's amazing. You're talking
- 15:09Speaker 1: about that too. Yeah, we'll go back to go back
- 15:12Speaker 1: to Mammoth Mammoth County.
- 15:14Speaker 3: Yeah, we get sidetracked but.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Mammouth County a great county, beautiful.
- 15:18Speaker 3: I've never been to any of the East Coast tracks.
- 15:20Speaker 1: Yeah, never been beautiful racetrack. But they're just looking the
- 15:23Speaker 1: break every living human. I mean, yeah. Now they want
- 15:26Speaker 1: to have casinos and you know the richer county's you know,
- 15:29Speaker 1: Mammoth Ocean and going up to people will driving down
- 15:33Speaker 1: to a lantic city to go there for that. But now,
- 15:36Speaker 1: so now that we were talking about uh cheating, Uh,
- 15:42Speaker 1: this one hundred and eighty thousand dollars baccer our cheating
- 15:44Speaker 1: plot was was foiled here in Switzerland. Eleven players, eleven teams.
- 15:50Speaker 1: How could you put eleven players on a cheat team?
- 15:54Speaker 3: Cool?
- 15:54Speaker 1: But how about this the Chinese eleven I'm only reading
- 15:56Speaker 1: right from the article. The Chinese eleven. They're being called
- 15:59Speaker 1: Swiss casino Zurich sits in the heart of the city
- 16:02Speaker 1: center stones throw away many casinos, most retail shops in
- 16:07Speaker 1: the most expensive retail shops in the world. But my
- 16:13Speaker 1: thing is, so they caught these eleven guys that that
- 16:17Speaker 1: did this pretty sophisticated cheating, they probably got away with
- 16:19Speaker 1: a lot more because one hundred and eighty thousand for
- 16:22Speaker 1: eleven guys. It's you know, it's not really nothing. You're
- 16:24Speaker 1: talking about fifteen sixteen seventeen. It's not really a lot
- 16:27Speaker 1: of money. They're always situations where one of the people
- 16:33Speaker 1: will be unhappy or get themselves in other troubled and
- 16:38Speaker 1: other areas of life. They're obviously guys that do things
- 16:42Speaker 1: on the on the you know, on the side of
- 16:44Speaker 1: the gray and black. And you just look at this
- 16:48Speaker 1: and you say, how can these eleven people decide to
- 16:50Speaker 1: go on a team together and cheat the casinos? It's
- 16:53Speaker 1: not like Ocean's eleven Just what happen says there are
- 16:55Speaker 1: eleven sure where they're making you know, ten million each, right,
- 16:59Speaker 1: you know these guys are making money. That's that that
- 17:01Speaker 1: they're gonna blow it against you.
- 17:03Speaker 2: We'll get you to Mexico, Yeah, to escape and that's it.
- 17:06Speaker 1: Yeah, this will get you thet or it'll get you
- 17:08Speaker 1: one good day in the World Series of Poker.
- 17:10Speaker 3: You can go through it.
- 17:12Speaker 1: Yeah. But I mean, I just I just I look
- 17:17Speaker 1: at these things and I say to myself, how much
- 17:19Speaker 1: cheating goes on, you know, around the world in casinos
- 17:24Speaker 1: that people get away with It must be it's gotta
- 17:27Speaker 1: be a lot more than you think you know that
- 17:30Speaker 1: this one was a This one was one where a dealer.
- 17:33Speaker 1: You can see with the player. You can see what
- 17:34Speaker 1: he's doing. Here, he's taking the cut card. He has perfected.
- 17:38Speaker 1: I've seen this move already, he has. Not only have
- 17:42Speaker 1: I seen it, the guy told you what he was doing,
- 17:44Speaker 1: and you didn't realize what he was doing. So he's
- 17:46Speaker 1: got a camera. Tiny, such a small little camera attached
- 17:51Speaker 1: to his finger. Tiny, it's so tiny, or a sleeve,
- 17:54Speaker 1: or it could be somewhere that's situated perfectly. He's taking
- 17:59Speaker 1: the top cut card and going up and down the deck.
- 18:02Speaker 1: You know, they asked you to cut.
- 18:03Speaker 3: See the dealer right like, you're finding it right where
- 18:06Speaker 3: you want.
- 18:06Speaker 1: And he's going and going, going up and down all
- 18:11Speaker 1: the cards, I separating him from just as a hair.
- 18:16Speaker 1: And meanwhile the cameras catching all the cards in order,
- 18:18Speaker 1: you know, or most of the cards or clumps of cards.
- 18:21Speaker 3: Sure, that's all you need. You need this much the.
- 18:25Speaker 1: Cards and hear what he's doing is actually opening them
- 18:27Speaker 1: when he's when he's right. I'm going back and forth.
- 18:30Speaker 1: I'm gonna give Jaye the Maybe you can show that
- 18:32Speaker 1: photo of what I'm talking about. If anyone that has
- 18:35Speaker 1: played cards before. Of course, you guys know, even blackjat shoot,
- 18:39Speaker 1: you just go up and down, or you just decide
- 18:41Speaker 1: where you're gonna cut the deck. This guy's actually trying
- 18:44Speaker 1: to get a glimpse of all the cards in order,
- 18:47Speaker 1: and then usually that's a device in somebody's ear in
- 18:49Speaker 1: a van. Eleven people, eleven people. I just don't understand
- 18:55Speaker 1: back of rock cut cards scamm as you could see
- 18:56Speaker 1: it there. I just don't know, uh now here. The
- 19:00Speaker 1: Chinese eleven had already executed this scam in France and Austria,
- 19:04Speaker 1: according to the ringleader's phone, So how much money did
- 19:07Speaker 1: they make before it? Just you know, I just I
- 19:13Speaker 1: look at this and I say, how can eleven people
- 19:16Speaker 1: be involved? Someone's gonna be upset, someone's gonna rat you out.
- 19:20Speaker 1: You know. There's an old saying there that you know,
- 19:23Speaker 1: you can't trust three people unless two of them are dead,
- 19:24Speaker 1: something like that. There was an old, old, old gangster saying.
- 19:28Speaker 1: But I thought that was pretty unbelievable that that eleven
- 19:32Speaker 1: people were involved in a scam. Something that me and you,
- 19:35Speaker 1: I know, we're overboard on this. A little bit about
- 19:39Speaker 1: the safety of people in casinos and keeping your head
- 19:41Speaker 1: on a swivel, and you know, yeah, keeping your head
- 19:45Speaker 1: on making sure noone's around, and as you were cashing
- 19:47Speaker 1: out World Series of Poker, I would think would be
- 19:50Speaker 1: a big thing. Delaware Park casino parking lot is the
- 19:54Speaker 1: site of a brazen carjacking at gunpoint. You know, this
- 19:58Speaker 1: is a place where you most people, I don't know
- 20:00Speaker 1: if don't don't know if they have valet. But by
- 20:02Speaker 1: the way, I was. I was Toronto Delaware Park for winning,
- 20:05Speaker 1: escorted to the escorted to the front door by security,
- 20:09Speaker 1: for betting the parlay cards from the parlay cards. Sure,
- 20:12Speaker 1: and I was betting some antiquated I'm all doing is
- 20:15Speaker 1: betting what they offer. There's some antiquated lines, right, and
- 20:20Speaker 1: what is this? I don't know. Maybe ten years ago,
- 20:23Speaker 1: ten twelve, eleven years whenever they had parlay cards only
- 20:26Speaker 1: betting in Delaware and I was betting them. I was
- 20:31Speaker 1: going there on Sundays and you're the cards are put
- 20:33Speaker 1: out Wednesday and ent or Thursday. Hey, you get a
- 20:35Speaker 1: little bit of an edge on the key numbers. So
- 20:37Speaker 1: line was plus eight and a half now it's plus
- 20:39Speaker 1: six and a half. You take the eight and a
- 20:40Speaker 1: half on all the cards you know, on parlay and
- 20:42Speaker 1: with other things. And so anyway, these these people were
- 20:50Speaker 1: literally went outside and got hit over the head with
- 20:52Speaker 1: a gun. The vehicles stolen, the money in their pockets stolen,
- 20:56Speaker 1: and you know it just this happens a lot that
- 20:58Speaker 1: it's not reported too so or you don't hear about it. Yeah,
- 21:03Speaker 1: two men, two men came behind him with guns, and
- 21:07Speaker 1: it just happens. You just want to be careful. Many
- 21:10Speaker 1: gamblers exit casinos with pocket fulls of cash. Parking lot robberies, unfortunately,
- 21:15Speaker 1: aren't rare. That's another thing too, This says last last year,
- 21:19Speaker 1: a sixty year old man who posed as a police
- 21:23Speaker 1: officer outside Hard Rock Seminal, Hard Rock Casino and hotel
- 21:28Speaker 1: legitimately responded to the casino on Miami Gardens. Okay, okay,
- 21:32Speaker 1: legitimate police responded to this is the Hard Rock I
- 21:35Speaker 1: was just at the Guitar Tower in Hollywood, and they
- 21:40Speaker 1: found the guy. They found the corvette that he was driving,
- 21:43Speaker 1: and if and and they apprehended to the subject. But
- 21:46Speaker 1: this happened so many times, and you just got to
- 21:48Speaker 1: watch them parking rogers outside in parking lots and here too,
- 21:52Speaker 1: you know, everywhere yeah, this was a bad site for years.
- 21:55Speaker 1: Now they have to see that security podium that was
- 21:57Speaker 1: never there, that was never there, that was just put
- 21:59Speaker 1: there recently in the last ten years.
- 22:02Speaker 2: Remember at the Riot we're doing World Series when when
- 22:05Speaker 2: it was still at the Rio, yes.
- 22:07Speaker 3: Nineteen or whatever, it was multiple because.
- 22:10Speaker 1: Multiple And I want to tell you something. I have
- 22:14Speaker 1: to blame the casinos. I know. It's it's you know,
- 22:18Speaker 1: you can't have people everywhere. I have to blame. How
- 22:21Speaker 1: can you not put guys out in the parking lot
- 22:23Speaker 1: On the World Series of Poker right now, they'll have
- 22:25Speaker 1: one ninety pound guy on a bike riding around the
- 22:29Speaker 1: parking and.
- 22:29Speaker 2: You know, multiple, multiple people are cashing out for big
- 22:33Speaker 2: in some of those tournaments.
- 22:34Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, hundreds of thousands of millions.
- 22:36Speaker 1: I have seen so much bullshit, Like in Atlantic City.
- 22:38Speaker 1: I told you when I had those two guys were
- 22:40Speaker 1: fighting and I was trying to break him up, you know,
- 22:43Speaker 1: older guy, and they called security. Literally an eighty five
- 22:47Speaker 1: year old man came over. I was like, no, no,
- 22:49Speaker 1: you stay out of this because you'll get you'll go
- 22:52Speaker 1: down first.
- 22:52Speaker 3: No, seriously, yeah, that's crazy.
- 22:54Speaker 1: And then and then I had an argument and I'm
- 22:56Speaker 1: the one that got in trouble. Remember that, I got
- 22:58Speaker 1: the one crazy act guy out. He's reporting a crime.
- 23:01Speaker 1: Throw him out, get him out of there.
- 23:03Speaker 2: Quick quick question on sports betting. Yeah, you said something
- 23:07Speaker 2: that reminded me.
- 23:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:08Speaker 2: I was talking with one of our buddies the other
- 23:10Speaker 2: day about where are you when it comes to buying.
- 23:13Speaker 3: A point or a point and a half? Are you
- 23:16Speaker 3: against that?
- 23:17Speaker 1: No, I'm actually for it.
- 23:18Speaker 3: You are if you say, don't do it if you.
- 23:21Speaker 1: Can do it for ten cents each half around the
- 23:24Speaker 1: key numbers. So college basketball, two, three, five, even maybe seven,
- 23:29Speaker 1: buying onto the number, you're not buying the half onto
- 23:32Speaker 1: the half. So if something's plus four and a half,
- 23:34Speaker 1: you want to buy it the five, okay, if it's
- 23:36Speaker 1: ten cents extra. So if you if it's you know,
- 23:39Speaker 1: minus a dollar ten at four and a half, you
- 23:41Speaker 1: want to go to I'm sorry, let's use plus four
- 23:45Speaker 1: and a half. You go plus five minus a dollar twenty.
- 23:48Speaker 1: That's fine. Some of the sportsports are catching onto this now.
- 23:51Speaker 1: I was taught this by some of the greats in
- 23:53Speaker 1: the game, Alan Boston, the guys at Pinnacle, the guys
- 23:56Speaker 1: at own Pinnacle. Yeah, two, three and five NBA is
- 23:59Speaker 1: more or five, five and seven in the NBA. But
- 24:02Speaker 1: if you could buy multiple points on those numbers, like
- 24:06Speaker 1: buy four and a half to seven in NBA, I'm
- 24:09Speaker 1: told that to profitable bet.
- 24:10Speaker 3: Most people are really not buying four and a half
- 24:12Speaker 3: to seven.
- 24:13Speaker 1: And obviously the lower the total, the more likelihood of
- 24:16Speaker 1: that game landing to be close to the spread. So
- 24:18Speaker 1: that's where it would even be worth more more money. Interesting,
- 24:23Speaker 1: speaking of which, last night you sent me the text
- 24:26Speaker 1: about about the guy scoring. Yeah, you know, I said,
- 24:30Speaker 1: the guy, Uh yeah, so so last night historic eighty
- 24:34Speaker 1: three points unbelievable, this.
- 24:37Speaker 2: Guy right was eighty two? Yeah, Wilt obviously one hundred,
- 24:40Speaker 2: one hundred. No, they don't count, they don't seem to count.
- 24:42Speaker 3: Wilt, Yeah, Wilt.
- 24:44Speaker 1: You you would always think this, this number would be
- 24:46Speaker 1: and I still think it's unattainable in today's game. But
- 24:49Speaker 1: maybe it's not. When you have a guy going to
- 24:51Speaker 1: the free for a line, you know, forty three times,
- 24:53Speaker 1: I mean of them thirty six and forty three shot
- 24:58Speaker 1: thirty six or forty three from the line, breaking the
- 25:01Speaker 1: record by Dwight Howard there too, and you know he
- 25:06Speaker 1: had how many threes? Did he have to twenty two
- 25:09Speaker 1: twenty two twenty two threes made seven matches. You would
- 25:13Speaker 1: have made a few more.
- 25:13Speaker 3: I mean, I give him a lot of credit for that.
- 25:15Speaker 3: But that's why this the league is unwatchable.
- 25:19Speaker 1: Why why do you say that forty two fouls?
- 25:22Speaker 3: You foul this guy? Yeah or whatever?
- 25:24Speaker 2: So that twenty one times I filed this guy twenty
- 25:27Speaker 2: one times?
- 25:29Speaker 1: Like yeah, I get you know, defense do we have
- 25:31Speaker 1: no defense?
- 25:32Speaker 3: What do we do? It's like an all start in arms? Yeah?
- 25:35Speaker 1: What a? What a? It's an unbelievable feat and accomplishment
- 25:38Speaker 1: it is, though. It really is unbelievable for him hearing it.
- 25:42Speaker 1: You know, John, the Masters is coming up here next month?
- 25:44Speaker 3: Are you going?
- 25:45Speaker 1: And you know, I'm not one hundred percent sure. Are
- 25:48Speaker 1: usually going to every years? Oh right, yeah, yeah, I'm
- 25:50Speaker 1: not one hundred percent sure. I got to cut some
- 25:52Speaker 1: things going on that week. But it's amazing. It's like
- 25:56Speaker 1: the Bible Belt down there in Georgia itself. It's not
- 25:59Speaker 1: it's not why the Bible Belt. It is the Bible
- 26:01Speaker 1: bel Georgia itself. They're really old fashioned. Uh that's an
- 26:06Speaker 1: old fashioned town, Augusta. The golf course, the Masters, they
- 26:11Speaker 1: don't want nothing to do with gambling. They want nothing
- 26:14Speaker 1: to do with you selling your tickets to anybody. They
- 26:17Speaker 1: really keep a tight knit group there. I know someone
- 26:21Speaker 1: that you know also that just had his master's tickets
- 26:24Speaker 1: taken away. Yeah, because he sold them to somebody else.
- 26:28Speaker 1: And they went in and outed the gate a couple
- 26:29Speaker 1: of times, and they check ID and stuff, and you
- 26:33Speaker 1: know you have to make sure they don't check. They
- 26:35Speaker 1: can't check every ID, tens of thousands of parts, but
- 26:38Speaker 1: they randomly checked people ID and it wasn't that. And
- 26:42Speaker 1: you'll get your tickets taken away. If you are even.
- 26:44Speaker 3: A pro golfer, that money miserable.
- 26:46Speaker 1: You could have won the tournament, right, And if you're
- 26:49Speaker 1: giving your tickets away and you get caught, you're gonna
- 26:51Speaker 1: be You're gonna be suspended in that not suspended, very upset. Sure, Yes,
- 26:55Speaker 1: this year that the forty passes going for twenty grand,
- 26:57Speaker 1: twenty five grand, Yeah, he's man. It's a big black market,
- 27:02Speaker 1: giant black market. We've had Marcus on the show before.
- 27:05Speaker 1: It's a big, big market down there for secondary tickets
- 27:08Speaker 1: to Friday Saturday Sunday, Friday Saturday. I see a loon.
- 27:12Speaker 1: The single day Badge is going for ten thousand dollars,
- 27:15Speaker 1: and that's I have a free half a day Badge
- 27:18Speaker 1: to go free on Friday, and I really want to
- 27:21Speaker 1: make it there. But yeah, half of the half of
- 27:23Speaker 1: day beat. That guy can't leave it. I cannot lose
- 27:26Speaker 1: that guy cannot issues with that outfit. That man. No, seriously,
- 27:30Speaker 1: just a matter of how much money you're gonna make, sir.
- 27:34Speaker 1: It's just a matter of how much money you're gonna
- 27:35Speaker 1: make today, you're gonna make money extraor just the matter.
- 27:38Speaker 1: I love it, I love it. Good luck to you,
- 27:40Speaker 1: Good luck to you. Hey, I got him, man, he's in.
- 27:44Speaker 1: That's great. Age got him. Just a matter of how
- 27:47Speaker 1: much you can't lose. You can't be wearing off. You
- 27:49Speaker 1: can't be a loser in that outfre though you're picking
- 27:53Speaker 1: you got it, Thank you, thank you, appreciate it, Thank
- 27:56Speaker 1: you very much. Like we were just told a story
- 27:57Speaker 1: about Tom Watson on a jet he was passing through
- 28:01Speaker 1: and he called down there and and said, hey, uh,
- 28:04Speaker 1: this is Tom Watson. I got two guys that want
- 28:06Speaker 1: to play with and we want to get around in.
- 28:09Speaker 1: Can we get around in today or tomorrow? And said, well,
- 28:11Speaker 1: who's the sponsor. Who's the member, Well, nobody. I'm Tom Watson.
- 28:15Speaker 1: I'm just sorry, mister Watson. You can't. You cannot play
- 28:18Speaker 1: Vesta like That's there's been so many stories, a big
- 28:21Speaker 1: pro that they're not allowed to definitely right, you want
- 28:27Speaker 1: to know the truth. I actually heard Tiger Woods was
- 28:30Speaker 1: turned away with a group.
- 28:32Speaker 3: This is crazy.
- 28:33Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, Tiger, That's what I heard. So it's
- 28:36Speaker 1: funny you mentioned it. Tiger. You mentioned like one of
- 28:38Speaker 1: the guys you think definitely would be on.
- 28:41Speaker 3: I mean, I get it, but I don't get it
- 28:43Speaker 3: at the same time, I don't get it.
- 28:44Speaker 1: Yeah, it's funny. The guy just stopped by. He didn't
- 28:47Speaker 1: know where we're filming from down in Charlotte, and he
- 28:50Speaker 1: knows a lot about the Masters and knows a lot
- 28:52Speaker 1: about things in general. He was just going back and
- 28:54Speaker 1: forth with us on some uh you know. And that's
- 28:57Speaker 1: how you mentioned he's seen the Masters. I had up
- 28:59Speaker 1: in front of me, and he knew right away how
- 29:02Speaker 1: they are so strict on the resale market. And you know,
- 29:06Speaker 1: do you have to win the lottery to get a ticket,
- 29:08Speaker 1: But all those lottery winners they sell to the secondary markets,
- 29:11Speaker 1: which I get it. I understand. But Georgia, the purpose
- 29:15Speaker 1: of telling you this is Georgia, one of only ten
- 29:19Speaker 1: states without legalized sports betting, just remains clear on their
- 29:23Speaker 1: stance on legal sports betting and voted it down. The
- 29:26Speaker 1: state lawmakers voted it down again by a considerable measure,
- 29:31Speaker 1: by the way, they're not allowing gambling. But then, like
- 29:34Speaker 1: this guy just said, we never thought that they were
- 29:36Speaker 1: gonna get it in Northlina, everywhere in North Carolina as
- 29:40Speaker 1: sports betting now sooner or later know how, and Georgia
- 29:45Speaker 1: does not have legalized sports betting, but you would think,
- 29:48Speaker 1: you would think sooner or later they would get they
- 29:50Speaker 1: would get sports betting for sure. Let's look at this
- 29:53Speaker 1: this weekly wag Wager wires segment of wemby one hundred
- 29:58Speaker 1: and fifty to win thirty thousand, two hundred to one
- 30:00Speaker 1: for him to be MVP. The original odds of two
- 30:03Speaker 1: hundred to one. Current odds are about fifteen to one
- 30:06Speaker 1: or even a little bit lower. Current bet value eighteen
- 30:09Speaker 1: seventy five. Now here's the reason why right away, I
- 30:13Speaker 1: resort to Now the big, the big, the big favorite SGA.
- 30:18Speaker 1: He's minus six or eight to one. He's a giant favorite.
- 30:21Speaker 1: But this all comes down to him being one hundred
- 30:25Speaker 1: percent healthy. So if he tweaks an ankle or anything
- 30:30Speaker 1: at all, you know, Wemby here can fall into the
- 30:34Speaker 1: favorite role. I don't think at this stage of the
- 30:36Speaker 1: year he's going to But yeah, now, the current bet
- 30:40Speaker 1: value was eighteen seventy five. If someone's going to buy
- 30:45Speaker 1: that bet eighteen seventy five, thirty thousand dollars ticket one
- 30:48Speaker 1: hundred and fifty dollars. I liked that this was the
- 30:50Speaker 1: bonus bet. I'll tell you why. If you have a
- 30:52Speaker 1: bonus bet and they're allowing you to take long shots,
- 30:55Speaker 1: and you should always take you should always take something
- 30:58Speaker 1: that's plus money. Anyway, you shouldn't bet like the Yankees
- 31:01Speaker 1: minus two to one and the Dollars minus two to
- 31:03Speaker 1: one on a bonus BET's ridiculous. You want to take
- 31:05Speaker 1: get the best, maximize your value. Take. I'm not saying
- 31:08Speaker 1: take a two hundred to one shot, but taking this
- 31:10Speaker 1: guy took a two hundred to one shot with his
- 31:14Speaker 1: bonus bet, More power to him. If I am taking
- 31:16Speaker 1: that free bet, maybe he sells half of us or
- 31:20Speaker 1: cashes out a little bit, We're gonna say.
- 31:22Speaker 2: Speaking of bonus bets. I got a.
- 31:25Speaker 3: Two hundred and fifty dollars free bet.
- 31:27Speaker 1: From resorts, the same kind of thing. This is a
- 31:30Speaker 1: free bet.
- 31:30Speaker 3: I went to free bet blackjack. Do you like that?
- 31:33Speaker 1: Ah? You mean fair? I got out on the table side.
- 31:36Speaker 2: On the table side, I could choose two five dollars
- 31:40Speaker 2: bets fifty. I took one two hundred and fifty, and
- 31:45Speaker 2: I went to free bet blackjack. Because they pay for
- 31:47Speaker 2: your doubles and your splits. I thought that was a
- 31:48Speaker 2: good Do you like that move?
- 31:50Speaker 1: Well, actually it doesn't matter. You should play it on
- 31:53Speaker 1: regular black jack that has a better house, better lower
- 31:59Speaker 1: hold for you, you the player. The free beat blackjack,
- 32:02Speaker 1: these games look like they're easier.
- 32:04Speaker 2: Right, But I was thinking if I did get a
- 32:06Speaker 2: double down hand, they pay for that too, so too.
- 32:09Speaker 1: So it's a free beat. It's not a bad, it's
- 32:11Speaker 1: not a bad.
- 32:11Speaker 2: Okay, Yeah, I want it, I want it, you want
- 32:15Speaker 2: I won one, and then the following week I lost.
- 32:17Speaker 1: Okay, all right, so why you went a second week?
- 32:20Speaker 3: It gave me a for the every week?
- 32:23Speaker 1: Oh every week? Yeah, you have one of them.
- 32:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 32:25Speaker 1: See the problem is if you spin out of control.
- 32:28Speaker 3: I haven't spun no.
- 32:29Speaker 1: No, not just shooting anybody. They send them these these
- 32:31Speaker 1: little hoping to hook you. Yeah, yeah, yeah, But would
- 32:34Speaker 1: you do.
- 32:34Speaker 2: The two bets at one twenty five each or just
- 32:38Speaker 2: one at two fifty.
- 32:39Speaker 1: One at fifty? Yeah, played a whole two fifty right,
- 32:43Speaker 1: all right? So that's that's that's interesting that you're getting
- 32:46Speaker 1: them though, because resorts.
- 32:47Speaker 3: World I haven't set foot, I couldn't even tell you.
- 32:50Speaker 3: Maybe get anyone.
- 32:52Speaker 1: Fountain Loop might be uh might be trying to lure
- 32:57Speaker 1: players in players att Yeah, Fountain would just changed their
- 33:02Speaker 1: whole system around to be a little bit more loyal
- 33:05Speaker 1: to locals, I'm told. So I find that pretty interesting.
- 33:09Speaker 1: Someone said, I present I pronounced Fountain Blue wrong. It's
- 33:12Speaker 1: not Fountain on its fault. Really, Yeah, I wish I
- 33:15Speaker 1: wish I had the number right here to call. Just
- 33:17Speaker 1: call the number. What do they say, hire? This is
- 33:19Speaker 1: Fountain Blue, So I gotta go by with what they're saying.
- 33:24Speaker 1: But anyway, weekly our weekly wager Wire segment here wagerwire
- 33:27Speaker 1: dot Com, wager Wire app. So you can find many
- 33:30Speaker 1: of these different type of bets. Uh some good deals too,
- 33:33Speaker 1: I'll tell you. During football season there was some sick
- 33:35Speaker 1: deals on this site. So, like I said, SGA the
- 33:39Speaker 1: big favorite. But that's that's this week's one. There, let's
- 33:43Speaker 1: go back to talk about some crazy stuff. We already
- 33:46Speaker 1: did I throw a Delaware park under the bus? Oh yeah,
- 33:48Speaker 1: I did already. Okay, good, there's another chance to another
- 33:51Speaker 1: chance to give him a zing. How about this in Vegas?
- 33:54Speaker 1: A man said, a scorpion I saw stung him. Now
- 33:58Speaker 1: this is a bark.
- 33:59Speaker 3: And it was a barker second time. Now this has
- 34:01Speaker 3: happened a year ago.
- 34:02Speaker 1: We had this time in Arizona. Bark scorpion. The most
- 34:06Speaker 1: venomous scorpion species in the United States has been a
- 34:11Speaker 1: guy and they they could wind up inside homes and
- 34:16Speaker 1: maybe even casinos. Or this is more out in the
- 34:19Speaker 1: desert here. This guy's saying that happened in a casino.
- 34:23Speaker 3: You brought it in?
- 34:24Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know if he, but someone could have
- 34:26Speaker 1: brought it in. That's funny you say that. That's what
- 34:28Speaker 1: my wife said. Come on, my wife said, someone brought that.
- 34:31Speaker 2: So it came into the lobby. Yeah, it made its
- 34:33Speaker 2: way to the elevator banks.
- 34:34Speaker 1: Well, they couldn't check it. Push really the.
- 34:37Speaker 2: Eleventh floor well housekeeping open the door. It slid right
- 34:43Speaker 2: in it.
- 34:44Speaker 1: Funny, come on, they probably come in through the outside,
- 34:46Speaker 1: were crawling up the sides because this this particular one,
- 34:50Speaker 1: and this desert scorpion can climb walls and occasionally up
- 34:54Speaker 1: inside homes and hotels, so this one probably came into it.
- 34:57Speaker 3: I thro the window, the open window.
- 35:00Speaker 1: And these these ones from Arizona actually know how to
- 35:03Speaker 1: unlock the window. Unlocked, they come in, but they My
- 35:06Speaker 1: thing is, okay, My thing is this happened at Silver Seven's,
- 35:10Speaker 1: a local local place. By the way, Wait, where's that
- 35:13Speaker 1: Silver Sevens used to be the old Continental on the
- 35:16Speaker 1: corner of Paradise and Flamingo Silver seven? Oh yeah, yeah, okay,
- 35:21Speaker 1: which Bill Krachenberger was walked to the door and they
- 35:24Speaker 1: pulled out their little thing and they trespassed me. I'm
- 35:27Speaker 1: not allowed to go. And this was twelve thirteen years ago.
- 35:30Speaker 1: I was trespassed for blackjack card counting. They said I
- 35:34Speaker 1: was teaching people, which is ridiculous. I think I told
- 35:37Speaker 1: someone to stay on a hand or something. I don't
- 35:39Speaker 1: even think I did. To be honest with you, I was.
- 35:42Speaker 1: I was with one of my friends from Philly, and
- 35:44Speaker 1: I had a bag like this bag right and they said,
- 35:48Speaker 1: you're walking around with that bag with all different gambling.
- 35:51Speaker 1: I said, are you out of your mind with gambling
- 35:53Speaker 1: grochures and knowing that? Yeah, no, they were, they were Listen.
- 35:57Speaker 1: I love to tell you I did that. I really wasn't. Yeah,
- 36:00Speaker 1: I didn't know how to count cards, but I'm not
- 36:02Speaker 1: gonna count cards and that dump. I mean, when you're
- 36:04Speaker 1: gonna do they got you know, you have three table games.
- 36:07Speaker 1: I mean, you know they're eye eyeballs will be on you.
- 36:10Speaker 1: So I'm told though that I can walk back in
- 36:14Speaker 1: and they'll read if they don't want you there. Now
- 36:16Speaker 1: it's new ownership or whatever. They after eighty six every
- 36:19Speaker 1: year or two. But why would I even go there?
- 36:20Speaker 1: They had a good coffee shop back in the day.
- 36:22Speaker 1: That's probably one of the reasons why they really had
- 36:24Speaker 1: a good coffee shop. I like those little joints like Downtown.
- 36:29Speaker 1: You have you been there with me and a Jerry's
- 36:30Speaker 1: Nugget at the coffee shop for Jerry's Nugget Downtown?
- 36:33Speaker 3: No?
- 36:33Speaker 1: Yeah, thank you. Yeah, I'm asking I'm asking Johnny Hollywood
- 36:37Speaker 1: if he's been downtown to a place like Jerry's Nugget.
- 36:40Speaker 3: We went to the place downstairs queens.
- 36:44Speaker 1: Yeah maybe you know when you say downstairs, I think
- 36:47Speaker 1: a wallhop in New York Chinese place on Mont Street. No,
- 36:49Speaker 1: downstairs was a oh that that's uh yeah, of course
- 36:52Speaker 1: where they get the girls to flower in their fancy
- 36:54Speaker 1: wall brick walls. Yeah. Yeah, you goes wine cellar. Yes,
- 36:58Speaker 1: that's why you keep it nice in you Yeah. No,
- 37:03Speaker 1: but this this is deeper. This is further downtown. But
- 37:06Speaker 1: I know you've probably visited the Chica Benas strip club
- 37:09Speaker 1: there of it. I have nothing, and there's one next
- 37:13Speaker 1: to it.
- 37:13Speaker 3: You guys know, I've never been to any of the
- 37:18Speaker 3: that's still there.
- 37:19Speaker 1: Remember Palomino, the guy is a man of many vice.
- 37:23Speaker 3: Is the glitter Gulch place still there?
- 37:25Speaker 1: No, that's where Circa is now.
- 37:27Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I didn't know that really. I remember that
- 37:31Speaker 2: on the top of the taxi cabs.
- 37:32Speaker 1: Yeah, for years. Yeah, you know it's funny, John, I'm
- 37:36Speaker 1: a guy that doesn't. I've never been into strip clubs.
- 37:39Speaker 1: I mean, you know, it's a place you get ft
- 37:43Speaker 1: but not late. That's what they say, right yeah, yeah.
- 37:45Speaker 2: Yeah, No, I mean but using it like a cheers bar,
- 37:49Speaker 2: like just go the music's good, the drinks first of
- 37:52Speaker 2: all drink germ nut.
- 37:54Speaker 1: So you got girls dancing on guys that were dancing
- 37:56Speaker 1: on other guys dancing.
- 37:57Speaker 3: Just it's just not your j but just the part
- 38:00Speaker 3: that I'm.
- 38:01Speaker 1: Too sharp to be hustled out of. You know, I
- 38:03Speaker 1: was say twenties, no one, hundreds. Now you know they're
- 38:06Speaker 1: going to a strip club and give away five hundred
- 38:08Speaker 1: dollars or a thousand dollars. And we have friends though.
- 38:11Speaker 1: Guy Myrtle Beache, he spent millions, millions, he spent ten thousand.
- 38:16Speaker 1: Twice that I went with him, he begged me to
- 38:18Speaker 1: go with him. He goes, you gotta go with me,
- 38:19Speaker 1: You gotta go, like a I can't, I don't want
- 38:21Speaker 1: to go, you gotta go with me. He goes in
- 38:22Speaker 1: there and like tells the girls stories he likes to see.
- 38:26Speaker 1: He goes in there and just see how gullible someonem are.
- 38:29Speaker 1: Like the last time I went was probably ten years ago.
- 38:32Speaker 1: He told the girls, I'm a potato farmer. I'm an
- 38:35Speaker 1: alridot potato farmer. And they're in there all around. He's
- 38:39Speaker 1: given a hundred dollar bills out. You could be any
- 38:41Speaker 1: kind of farmer you want, so great, right, Oh no,
- 38:43Speaker 1: he's in totally insane, totally insane. But I have been.
- 38:48Speaker 1: I have been to them, but I just don't care
- 38:49Speaker 1: for them. And I'm not going to give away money
- 38:51Speaker 1: at these places anyway. Let's go back to the bark scorpion. Yes,
- 38:54Speaker 1: so the scorpion sting can be fatal, one of the
- 38:57Speaker 1: most deadly scorpions out there. It's it's medically necessary to
- 39:03Speaker 1: go get taken care of right away if you're bit
- 39:05Speaker 1: by one of these and intense burning muscle, twitching in
- 39:09Speaker 1: some case difficulty swallowing, swallowing and breathing. So the culprit
- 39:15Speaker 1: was squashed captured on camera. Now the guy is claiming
- 39:19Speaker 1: emotional trauma.
- 39:20Speaker 3: So where did it bite him? Does it say? You
- 39:23Speaker 3: remember last year, right?
- 39:24Speaker 1: Yeah? They got someone in the testicles.
- 39:26Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, they said the venetian stung him on the
- 39:31Speaker 2: you know, they called the hospital and they said it's
- 39:34Speaker 2: very venomous. They said, you don't have enough time to
- 39:37Speaker 2: get him to the hospital. You have to suck the
- 39:39Speaker 2: venom no out really And then the guy said, well,
- 39:42Speaker 2: what did the doctor say?
- 39:43Speaker 3: And he said he said you're going to die.
- 39:45Speaker 1: Wow, you made that up? Okay, I was just saying
- 39:47Speaker 1: because I know for a price, you'll do it. So
- 39:51Speaker 1: ANYWAYH was like, really, I thought, well, I knew what happened.
- 39:55Speaker 1: I knew, I knew what the Venetian about a year
- 39:57Speaker 1: or two years ago, a guy got bit. I claimed.
- 40:00Speaker 1: He claimed he was he was claimed he was stung
- 40:02Speaker 1: on the testicles at the bottom of this article. Yeah,
- 40:04Speaker 1: well by a scorpion while sleeping, and he allegend his
- 40:08Speaker 1: look at this, he allegend his lawsuit is sting and
- 40:10Speaker 1: left him with a rectile dysfunction and PTSD emotional trauma.
- 40:15Speaker 1: Uh but I'm just taking.
- 40:17Speaker 3: Like, do you know the end results of that to that? No,
- 40:20Speaker 3: it didn't, It didn't go anywhere, right, it didn't settle.
- 40:22Speaker 1: Okay, can you just bring a scorpion in the room
- 40:24Speaker 1: and just took a picture. So he stung me and
- 40:26Speaker 1: it's money. I'm not trying to say that that's what
- 40:27Speaker 1: happened here in either one of them. But yeah, I mean,
- 40:30Speaker 1: come on, is just unbelievable. He's thinking, all right now,
- 40:35Speaker 1: if you drive on the you wouldn't go over there,
- 40:39Speaker 1: because you wouldn't go to Jerry's Nugget. You're definitely not
- 40:41Speaker 1: going over to this area. This is the historic West Side.
- 40:45Speaker 1: Benny Benyon's former house on Bonanza Road still standing. It's boarded,
- 40:50Speaker 1: that's it still standing. They had a fire there and
- 40:54Speaker 1: it's but it's still standing. That was the site of
- 40:57Speaker 1: his ranch and UH ninth, teen forty seven, he arrived
- 41:01Speaker 1: from Dallas full suitcases full of money. Benyon bought one
- 41:05Speaker 1: of the biggest existing houses in Las Vegas for his wife,
- 41:08Speaker 1: Teddy Jane, their five children, ted Jack, Becky, Brenda, and
- 41:11Speaker 1: Barbera for sixty five thousand cash probably about a million
- 41:14Speaker 1: bucks today. Powerful figure and illegal Dallas gambling scene. Benyon
- 41:20Speaker 1: embroiled in violent turf war with the Chicago based Lombardo
- 41:24Speaker 1: gang and their unfriendly sheriff who made Texas too hot
- 41:27Speaker 1: to handle. So he came here and he found the
- 41:29Speaker 1: sheriff that was a good sheriff, Ralph Lamb was good
- 41:32Speaker 1: for him. Ralph Lamb was good for a lot of people.
- 41:35Speaker 1: But this was a former dude ranch. So I say,
- 41:37Speaker 1: what's a dude ranch. I don't know what a dude
- 41:39Speaker 1: ranch is? Yeah, I nineteen forty two. It was a
- 41:42Speaker 1: service station owned by C. A. Moorehouse which is the
- 41:47Speaker 1: future Benyon house, that had three bedroom several bats a
- 41:49Speaker 1: large basement, guesthouse, swimming pool. And but a dude ranch
- 41:54Speaker 1: is where socialites seeking a quickie divorce can establish a
- 41:59Speaker 1: six week reside. That's the law. You come in, you
- 42:02Speaker 1: establish a residency. This way you can get divorced. And
- 42:06Speaker 1: that's what a dude ranch was hearing about. As a dude.
- 42:08Speaker 1: For dudes to come in, you can actually say I
- 42:10Speaker 1: live here in the divorce. After six weeks, you could
- 42:12Speaker 1: file for a divorce. So I thought that was pretty cool.
- 42:14Speaker 1: I never knew it. I never knew I never do,
- 42:16Speaker 1: you know, automatically get the whorehouse or some dude ranch.
- 42:18Speaker 1: It's not absolutely not, you know, speaking of which, So
- 42:22Speaker 1: I seen it, no, no, no, no, I seen a fantastic
- 42:26Speaker 1: Speaking of I seen a fantastic uh documentary. YouTube had
- 42:32Speaker 1: such great you say that, I got it. I find
- 42:36Speaker 1: the greatest stuff on YouTube. So this is the man
- 42:39Speaker 1: who really ran Las Vegas and the story of this
- 42:43Speaker 1: guy that came through and Benny Binyon. And even in
- 42:48Speaker 1: that article that I just read that I was just
- 42:51Speaker 1: I just read unbelievable. People don't realize this. Benny Binyon
- 42:55Speaker 1: actually didn't have the license in his name, even though
- 42:59Speaker 1: he was the front guy and the guy that was
- 43:01Speaker 1: up front. Yeah, to fund his five million in legal
- 43:05Speaker 1: fees and back taxes that he owned, Benyu was forced
- 43:07Speaker 1: to sell his majority interest in his beloved Horseshoe right away.
- 43:11Speaker 1: There was a family eventually regained control in nineteen sixty four,
- 43:14Speaker 1: but his felony conviction barred him from holding an out
- 43:17Speaker 1: of license for the rest of his life. Benny technically
- 43:19Speaker 1: serves as a consultant to the Horseshoe, so everyone knows
- 43:23Speaker 1: he's really the one that was in charge. Kind of
- 43:26Speaker 1: like Lefty Rosenthal was in charge of the Star Dusts,
- 43:29Speaker 1: I'm sure, and the same kind of situation there. But yeah,
- 43:33Speaker 1: So I seen this special on YouTube and I thought
- 43:37Speaker 1: it was fascinating because I knew of this guy. I
- 43:41Speaker 1: knew of this guy that was supposedly running binions and
- 43:46Speaker 1: I'm sorry I don't have his name that here's a special.
- 43:48Speaker 1: The name of it if you go to the Old
- 43:51Speaker 1: Vegas Legends is the YouTube channel Old Vegas Legends and
- 43:56Speaker 1: it's Benny Binyon, silent partner, partner demand who actually controlled
- 44:01Speaker 1: Las Vegas and the guy that was behind him. He
- 44:05Speaker 1: had so many different things that he did in his lifetime.
- 44:09Speaker 1: One of them which was was Benny Binyon, so so
- 44:13Speaker 1: he he actually had the licenses in his name and
- 44:17Speaker 1: he did a lot of things like I said, in town,
- 44:21Speaker 1: including having the license and and and and running benions
- 44:26Speaker 1: even though Benny was the front guy. This was a great,
- 44:28Speaker 1: great story. And like I said, guys, it's on YouTube.
- 44:31Speaker 1: Fantastic story. I love YouTube. I love the youth. I
- 44:36Speaker 1: pay for the UH premium nineteen bucks a month, and
- 44:42Speaker 1: and and I get all the different all the different things, uh.
- 44:45Speaker 1: You know, like I said, I got all the different
- 44:47Speaker 1: shows for free. And the documentaries on there, some of
- 44:50Speaker 1: them are great. Now you have to watch now. There's
- 44:52Speaker 1: a lot of I can't stand AI, John, I hate AI.
- 44:55Speaker 1: I hate it. I know it's good for certain things
- 44:57Speaker 1: I can't stand. I want to know if something's real.
- 44:59Speaker 1: I don't want to so, Frank, I can't stand videos
- 45:04Speaker 1: and stuff. I just can't stand fake things that are
- 45:07Speaker 1: on a stuff. But this was this, this this, this
- 45:11Speaker 1: is a real story and there's some real channels out there.
- 45:13Speaker 1: I like following the mafia genre. I like following that.
- 45:17Speaker 1: Joey Milino who does the shows at your place, your
- 45:20Speaker 1: studios down in Florida. I watched his show, I watch
- 45:26Speaker 1: The Little Guy. I'm coming around through Snuff. I wasn't
- 45:29Speaker 1: I wasn't really good. I met him at the studio.
- 45:31Speaker 1: When I met Joey and him in the studios, and
- 45:34Speaker 1: I don't know, Joey was so much more warm and
- 45:36Speaker 1: talking about things than than Snuff. Snuff was like a
- 45:38Speaker 1: little bit running around like and he just I don't know,
- 45:41Speaker 1: just he's He talks a lot of common sense about things.
- 45:45Speaker 1: Things that I always talk about think is like the
- 45:47Speaker 1: streets in Philly, or how they're breaking people doing this
- 45:50Speaker 1: and how this happens, and the just in general. Some
- 45:54Speaker 1: of the things he comes up with, I really start
- 45:56Speaker 1: laughing about. I really do it. He really is funny.
- 45:59Speaker 1: He puts these shorts up. The shorts I watch almost
- 46:01Speaker 1: every day, so I'm coming around that. But I do
- 46:03Speaker 1: watch some of the other, some of the other, some
- 46:06Speaker 1: of the other, the other things that are on the
- 46:08Speaker 1: YouTube channels. I don't particularly like a lot of the
- 46:12Speaker 1: rats the way they have done things. Some of their
- 46:14Speaker 1: stuff is pretty good though, something informative, but it's always
- 46:17Speaker 1: spun like, Oh, I didn't do nothing. I had a rat.
- 46:19Speaker 1: I had a rat, like some of the guys on
- 46:21Speaker 1: there are just really, really bad. Joe Piskopo, I've been
- 46:24Speaker 1: following him now for a few weeks. I told you
- 46:27Speaker 1: his stuff. He retweeted right away with your dad the
- 46:30Speaker 1: thing I put up. Oh so, yeah, you see what
- 46:33Speaker 1: I put on Twitter? I said the older I can
- 46:36Speaker 1: verify too. I have seen a bunch of Scorpions right
- 46:39Speaker 1: across the street at the old hard Rock. That's the
- 46:41Speaker 1: real Scorpions. Yeah, the band, some of the I mean,
- 46:44Speaker 1: get some good stuff. We've had some good stuff. You
- 46:46Speaker 1: want to Twitter man, No, both of us though. This
- 46:48Speaker 1: was a horse race game downtown.
- 46:53Speaker 3: Yeah, I got a lot.
- 46:54Speaker 2: I got messages about that people that love that game.
- 46:56Speaker 1: The employee steals four million from home depot. That got
- 46:59Speaker 1: some good views, crazy thirty thousand views. Did you see this?
- 47:01Speaker 1: This the La America Yes Angels Marathon. Well, I don't
- 47:06Speaker 1: know if it was La it was America.
- 47:08Speaker 3: That lady, that lady cost him the whole thing.
- 47:10Speaker 1: Well, I don't know if it was just a lady.
- 47:11Speaker 1: Because if you look the cop it's the motorcade. The
- 47:14Speaker 1: motorcade went to the right. He followed the motor caide
- 47:17Speaker 1: and the idiot lady that's in the you know, she's
- 47:19Speaker 1: from his home country, too, right, and it follows her
- 47:23Speaker 1: and went the wrong way, turned around, went there.
- 47:25Speaker 3: When I first saw the clip, I thought the guy
- 47:27Speaker 3: just outran him.
- 47:28Speaker 1: Yeah, the first clip I saw, I.
- 47:30Speaker 3: Didn't realize that the poor guy. Oh man, what a
- 47:33Speaker 3: terrible way to lose.
- 47:34Speaker 1: That terrible way to lose. But hey, victory for the USA.
- 47:37Speaker 1: This guy was this guy, We'll take it. This guy
- 47:40Speaker 1: was a coach from Jackson, Mississippi cross country coach that
- 47:44Speaker 1: won in the last stride. I thought it was so
- 47:46Speaker 1: cool that he won that.
- 47:49Speaker 2: Okay, have you been watching the Baseball Classic or did
- 47:52Speaker 2: you see the handshaking stuff?
- 47:55Speaker 1: How's it? How's it been?
- 47:57Speaker 2: I haven't really watched any games. Dominican Republic's been on fire.
- 48:00Speaker 2: The USA is about to get eliminated, and they were like, uh,
- 48:06Speaker 2: cal what's his name? The catcher Cal Rawley would shake
- 48:10Speaker 2: hands with a Rose Arena.
- 48:12Speaker 1: Why because they're on there.
- 48:15Speaker 3: You know they're teammates in Major League Baseball.
- 48:18Speaker 1: But they're competitors. That sounds like enemies.
- 48:21Speaker 2: I mean, he walks up to the plate, he puts
- 48:23Speaker 2: to shake his hand. He doesn't want to shake his hand.
- 48:24Speaker 2: It's the second time it happened. Earlier in the weekend,
- 48:26Speaker 2: happened with some different two players. I just don't get it, man,
- 48:30Speaker 2: Just shake the guy's hand. It's not if fighters can
- 48:34Speaker 2: touch gloves before they try to beat the hell out
- 48:36Speaker 2: of We're talking about baseball, man, I don't know.
- 48:40Speaker 3: I just it's it's it's not so John.
- 48:43Speaker 1: On one of my other shows last week, I talked
- 48:46Speaker 1: about this a lot.
- 48:46Speaker 2: Of You're on eleven shows. Now, how many shows basketball?
- 48:51Speaker 1: Basketball is much less? Okay, I'm so happy it's less,
- 48:53Speaker 1: Thank god during football.
- 48:54Speaker 3: How many shows thirteen thirty.
- 48:57Speaker 1: Every week? But this, this got seventy six thousand views.
- 49:03Speaker 1: This was talking about cash and chips in the casino.
- 49:10Speaker 1: Some of these people say, oh, come on, crag, what
- 49:13Speaker 1: are you talking about. You know, guys that don't know,
- 49:15Speaker 1: guys that don't know any better. They just think that
- 49:18Speaker 1: they hear something, or that they just think they know.
- 49:21Speaker 1: So John, my friend that got his chips, you know,
- 49:25Speaker 1: and so got the fifty thousand ships stolen from YEP
- 49:28Speaker 1: and they're five thousand dollars chips. Oh no one, No
- 49:30Speaker 1: one'll get cash them. Man, they'll be in trouble. They're
- 49:32Speaker 1: gonna they're gonna get arrested on the spot. It's been
- 49:34Speaker 1: two years. There's no of course, what do you do
- 49:38Speaker 1: with aria chips? What do you do with you know,
- 49:41Speaker 1: win all these big chips? What there is and I
- 49:44Speaker 1: don't want to even call it underground, it's not an
- 49:47Speaker 1: underground thing. All the high limit games they pass around
- 49:50Speaker 1: these chips like coasters, you know, these five thousand dollars chips.
- 49:54Speaker 1: So in the in the poker round, in the poker world,
- 49:56Speaker 1: they're the same chips that are at the bakara but
- 49:58Speaker 1: blackjack game and the same tips are poker. For the
- 50:01Speaker 1: most point, for the most part, give me a break,
- 50:04Speaker 1: anyone could cash. I'm not giving people ideas. I'm just
- 50:07Speaker 1: saying for your people out there that say, oh no,
- 50:09Speaker 1: you can't cast chips.
- 50:10Speaker 2: In the traditional way, you can't. Mean if you and
- 50:12Speaker 2: they're right though the floor, you go to the cage,
- 50:15Speaker 2: you're not cashing that.
- 50:16Speaker 1: You're not. They're gonna ask you where you got it from.
- 50:18Speaker 1: Some places like the Win have an RFI D reader
- 50:20Speaker 1: in it. They know where that ship came from. So
- 50:23Speaker 1: but but the most part, for the most part, you
- 50:28Speaker 1: cannot take that chip. I understand.
- 50:31Speaker 3: For them.
- 50:31Speaker 1: You can't take that chip to the cage. But people
- 50:34Speaker 1: just know how I'm gonna cash this now you Yes,
- 50:37Speaker 1: if you don't know the players, I can guarantee you'll
- 50:40Speaker 1: find something that'll buy something at a discount. A five
- 50:42Speaker 1: thousand do or four thousand cash sold. For sure, people
- 50:45Speaker 1: are gonna buy.
- 50:46Speaker 3: The guys that usually play with those ships because.
- 50:48Speaker 1: They got them in their bags. And by the way,
- 50:50Speaker 1: it's not just like you would think, oh, there's only
- 50:52Speaker 1: so many high limit games. Listen, there's hundreds of players
- 50:55Speaker 1: in these games city wide or in general that you
- 50:59Speaker 1: can get rid of. So for people to tell me
- 51:01Speaker 1: all know they're gonna get caught, they're not.
- 51:02Speaker 3: There's hundreds of players that have had five and twenty
- 51:05Speaker 3: five thousand.
- 51:06Speaker 1: Twenty five thousand in their bag.
- 51:08Speaker 3: For a year.
- 51:09Speaker 1: Yeah, that's right, that's right for a year. That's right. Well,
- 51:12Speaker 1: because their boxes are safe, depositive boxes are full of them.
- 51:15Speaker 3: Right.
- 51:15Speaker 1: I don't think you would be one of them, but
- 51:16Speaker 1: it doesn't matter.
- 51:17Speaker 2: No, not one of them, but yeah, soon not be
- 51:21Speaker 2: one of them though, because we're gonna get our buddy
- 51:24Speaker 2: a big time back at me and WSLP this year
- 51:27Speaker 2: big time.
- 51:28Speaker 3: We're playing high roller events.
- 51:30Speaker 1: No, I told this story once. I'll finish with this story.
- 51:33Speaker 1: This is an unbelievable story. I don't know if I
- 51:34Speaker 1: ever told it on our show. I told it on
- 51:36Speaker 1: Visa in one year out. I told it on Vson.
- 51:39Speaker 1: So I am at the Win fifteen maybe No, No,
- 51:46Speaker 1: it could have been fifteen, twenty years ago, twenty some
- 51:49Speaker 1: years ago, maybe like twenty two years ago. I'm at
- 51:52Speaker 1: the Win. That wasn't living here at a time, living
- 51:54Speaker 1: in Jersey, and I used to get a marker for
- 51:58Speaker 1: ten thousand. Yeah, get four tickets twenty five hundred each,
- 52:01Speaker 1: and I play video poker. That's you know, they have
- 52:04Speaker 1: really good games, really good there was. I was there
- 52:06Speaker 1: for something. I wasn't just gambling the gamble. I was
- 52:08Speaker 1: there for something. A promotion is something they give away,
- 52:11Speaker 1: and unbelievably, I was robbed of over ten thousand dollars. Now, however,
- 52:23Speaker 1: mentioned this to you.
- 52:23Speaker 3: No, I'm waiting for like literally robbed.
- 52:26Speaker 1: I was Rocker's what happened. I at the end of
- 52:28Speaker 1: the night, I got luckily enough that I had over
- 52:31Speaker 1: ten thousand, and when was before I went to bed?
- 52:36Speaker 1: Two thousand two? Oh, I didn't know you okay, yeah,
- 52:42Speaker 1: I probably knew your dad though. It's funny.
- 52:44Speaker 3: That is funny.
- 52:45Speaker 1: Yeah, two thousand and two, I combined the tickets at
- 52:51Speaker 1: the end of the night to make it an eleven
- 52:53Speaker 1: thousand dollars voucher. Okay, but combined there's where I have
- 52:56Speaker 1: one voucher off, break the rest up tomorrow and go
- 52:59Speaker 1: to my room at the Wind, And as I go in,
- 53:05Speaker 1: I can't believe I had this lapse where I I
- 53:10Speaker 1: guess I didn't realize they had soft closed doors.
- 53:13Speaker 3: It's happened to me in the casino. Wow. Sometimes the
- 53:16Speaker 3: drafts us the draft, it doesn't. You have to click it.
- 53:20Speaker 1: You have to click it. You have to click it.
- 53:22Speaker 1: This is, by the way, this is what I'm told. Yeah,
- 53:25Speaker 1: I don't remember doing that. I thought I was closed.
- 53:27Speaker 3: It happened in any hotel. It's happened to me in
- 53:30Speaker 3: nice places.
- 53:31Speaker 1: Yep. And at the time, the Wind did not have unbelievably,
- 53:36Speaker 1: which a lot of casinos do not have for your
- 53:39Speaker 1: they fields for your privacy, did not have cameras in
- 53:42Speaker 1: the hallways right. Luckily enough, they did have cameras in
- 53:47Speaker 1: the elevator where the service people come up, not the elevator. Oh,
- 53:53Speaker 1: she came up, she came up the steps and they
- 53:56Speaker 1: had her on camera coming up the steps on like
- 53:59Speaker 1: the emergency eggs.
- 54:00Speaker 3: This was an inside job.
- 54:01Speaker 1: No, no, this was a hooker job.
- 54:04Speaker 3: Wow, this was a hooker and she was just checking doors.
- 54:08Speaker 1: She was checking doors and caught multiple times checking doors.
- 54:13Speaker 1: And how she got in that room with me and
- 54:16Speaker 1: that grant. It was a it was in the tower Suitech,
- 54:19Speaker 1: so it was a two bedroom, it was. It was
- 54:22Speaker 1: it was a big place, you know, the So it
- 54:25Speaker 1: just what happens that and I do I don't. I
- 54:27Speaker 1: had I would not usually leave my money in my pants.
- 54:33Speaker 1: I usually wouldn't do that, but I wouldn't go to
- 54:35Speaker 1: the safe, either for cash or whatever. So I had
- 54:38Speaker 1: a stack of cash and the ticket in with the cash.
- 54:42Speaker 1: I don't think I know nothing of that, all right,
- 54:44Speaker 1: So like I have this gum here.
- 54:46Speaker 3: Now I didn't notice the gum. I noticed something else.
- 54:48Speaker 1: But yeah, it's really not a lot. It looks like
- 54:51Speaker 1: an elephant stuff on my bank all to be honest
- 54:52Speaker 1: with you, but yeah, this is so. I had the
- 54:55Speaker 1: ticket there with that and this person came in. I
- 55:01Speaker 1: can't even believe it. When I was sleeping. When I
- 55:04Speaker 1: was in the shower. Something stole the pack of money
- 55:08Speaker 1: and the and the It's unbelievable how the wind handled it.
- 55:12Speaker 1: They were so professional. Really, the wind was great. The
- 55:15Speaker 1: wind was great. What they did not only that, they
- 55:17Speaker 1: flew me out, Oh my god, they flew me out
- 55:19Speaker 1: here on a private jet. This is unbelievable. The story
- 55:21Speaker 1: where this story goes is unbelievable. So this person goes down,
- 55:26Speaker 1: takes the voucher to the casino cage. Of course they're
- 55:31Speaker 1: not going to cash it for her right, takes the
- 55:33Speaker 1: casher the cousier like she took the voucher. So I
- 55:36Speaker 1: got her on video. Now afterwards, after I reported the
- 55:40Speaker 1: next day though in the stair well done. I literally
- 55:44Speaker 1: next day, this is impossible. What did I put? I
- 55:46Speaker 1: thought I just put it somewhere. They said they actually
- 55:49Speaker 1: could tell the door was left open. It was, and
- 55:52Speaker 1: they had soft closed doors. They could tell. They knew
- 55:54Speaker 1: this happened already in there, so they were kind of
- 55:56Speaker 1: prepared for this, and they found the video. I actually
- 56:00Speaker 1: went to the machine that cashed out and said.
- 56:02Speaker 3: This is the wait. They knew the door was left
- 56:04Speaker 3: open like electronically.
- 56:06Speaker 1: Yes. Wow, Here's what I did. I went down, went down,
- 56:10Speaker 1: got the shift manager, said, my voucher was stolen from
- 56:13Speaker 1: this machine. I cashed out. They found out the voucher number,
- 56:16Speaker 1: they tracked it, they went to the cage. The cage
- 56:19Speaker 1: had the voucher. So the cage had the voucher and
- 56:22Speaker 1: they had her on video, which she ran out of
- 56:24Speaker 1: the place. And however, my four thousand dollars that was
- 56:29Speaker 1: with it, she stole.
- 56:31Speaker 2: It.
- 56:31Speaker 1: Just what happens that I knew the casino. I'm sorry.
- 56:34Speaker 1: The president of the casino used to be the president
- 56:37Speaker 1: of the Golden Nugget. And thank god, Maurice Wooden he's
- 56:41Speaker 1: the president of Oh he's a president world.
- 56:44Speaker 3: It was now found the head of Fountain Blue.
- 56:47Speaker 1: Yes, Maurice, I said, I I pronounced the Fountain Blue's.
- 56:51Speaker 1: He's the boss. He's boss the bosses over there. He's
- 56:53Speaker 1: Paul Costellano of Fountain Blue. So go over to Maurice.
- 56:59Speaker 1: Maurice I call, I have his number. He says, maybe
- 57:01Speaker 1: at the cage. We go to the cage. I tell
- 57:03Speaker 1: him what happened. He knew they had her on video,
- 57:05Speaker 1: and he says, how much money you have? I said,
- 57:06Speaker 1: Maria's had at least four thousand. Mary says, give him
- 57:09Speaker 1: five thousand. I said, I at least four, up to
- 57:12Speaker 1: maybe five. He goes, all right, give him five. They
- 57:14Speaker 1: gave me five thousand cash out of the cage, instantly
- 57:16Speaker 1: had me sign a thing, Have me sign a thing
- 57:18Speaker 1: that I got five thousand. That's how good Resorts World was.
- 57:22Speaker 1: They replaced the voucher, sorry the win, Yeah, they replaced
- 57:25Speaker 1: the voucher, but and gave me. However, they said, can
- 57:28Speaker 1: you please We're gonna arrest her, can you please go
- 57:31Speaker 1: to court? Most guys will not show up in court.
- 57:34Speaker 1: I said, well, it's not like I'm a john. I
- 57:35Speaker 1: wasn't with her right right? And sure enough, I said, listen,
- 57:40Speaker 1: I'm going back to Jerseys. They flew me out here
- 57:43Speaker 1: on a private jet to go to court. That's how
- 57:45Speaker 1: mad they were this girl. What do you think happens
- 57:48Speaker 1: when I go up on the stand and point around,
- 57:51Speaker 1: not pointing around saying yes, that was my voucher. That's
- 57:53Speaker 1: why I think. What do you think? She said? She
- 57:55Speaker 1: was with me? She goes, well, he wanted to day
- 57:58Speaker 1: for the night. I was with him the night, and
- 58:00Speaker 1: of course they had the times when she was up
- 58:02Speaker 1: in the room cash the vouchress that kind like, you know,
- 58:04Speaker 1: it's just ridiculous, and uh, unbelievably I had to come
- 58:08Speaker 1: back a second time on.
- 58:10Speaker 3: The jet too. Yes, I came on the jet and
- 58:14Speaker 3: now do you have some friends join you on the jet?
- 58:17Speaker 1: I didn't what yeah, what a fail?
- 58:20Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 58:21Speaker 1: Yeah, no, that that was amazing. They I went from TV.
- 58:23Speaker 3: You didn't want to see that anybody I hate on
- 58:26Speaker 3: the jet.
- 58:26Speaker 1: There's a airport and they put you up in a
- 58:29Speaker 1: in the same sweet and everything. Gave me food RFB. Yeah,
- 58:32Speaker 1: they're they're they're the security guy that the director that
- 58:35Speaker 1: came with me. He was a former cop and he's like,
- 58:37Speaker 1: you know, guys, don't show up for this kind of
- 58:39Speaker 1: thing we wanted. This girl is a repeat offender, and
- 58:41Speaker 1: but uh they they literally the her heard her lawyer
- 58:47Speaker 1: got it thrown out of court. No, sorry, I got
- 58:49Speaker 1: it thrown out the first time. To come back and
- 58:50Speaker 1: me come back a second time, that's why. And unbelievably,
- 58:54Speaker 1: she only did six months in jail. So but I
- 58:57Speaker 1: guess maybe it'll teach her a lesson. Probably not still
- 58:59Speaker 1: a long time, yeah, yeah, six months. You know, think
- 59:02Speaker 1: it can't tell you that story. No, why about your win?
- 59:06Speaker 1: Gave me the money back?
- 59:07Speaker 3: Now, did you gamble while you were on the trip trip?
- 59:11Speaker 1: I don't remember results. No, I don't remember, but probably.
- 59:13Speaker 3: It would have been funny if you crushed them right.
- 59:17Speaker 1: Well, now look at now though. That's why things don't
- 59:19Speaker 1: matter in the end, because even though I love the wind,
- 59:22Speaker 1: my favorite casino in town, like they're not, they don't
- 59:24Speaker 1: give me any offers now because I won, I won
- 59:27Speaker 1: some money. I ran a little lucky. It's totally lucky
- 59:30Speaker 1: and not allowed to get the offers I used to
- 59:32Speaker 1: get before. But I love the win. It'll be my
- 59:34Speaker 1: favorite casino in town, always classy, elegant, so good. Rooms
- 59:37Speaker 1: are a thousand bucks this week for March Madness. That's
- 59:40Speaker 1: is it. Really, that's how popular March Madness is. But
- 59:42Speaker 1: they keep the riff raff at with those prices. So
- 59:45Speaker 1: all right, guys, Well we'll see you next week on
- 59:46Speaker 1: Why Stretch
