- 0:04SPEAKER_00: Wait, turn up the sound.
- 0:05SPEAKER_08: Here's Wren and David.
- 0:20SPEAKER_01: Oh my.
- 0:22SPEAKER_01: It's another wonderful day.
- 0:24SPEAKER_01: It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood.
- 0:25SPEAKER_01: Yeah, sing it, Miss Roger.
- 0:27SPEAKER_04: Beautiful day in the neighborhood.
- 0:28SPEAKER_04: Oh won't be a neighbor.
- 0:31SPEAKER_01: My neighbor.
- 0:32SPEAKER_04: I stepped on your line.
- 0:34SPEAKER_01: No, that was fun.
- 0:35SPEAKER_01: I was trying to think of the line, actually.
- 0:37SPEAKER_04: Me too.
- 0:38SPEAKER_04: And I was trying to think, how quickly can I do this so that I'm not wasting Dave's time?
- 0:42SPEAKER_04: What do you got for me, Dave?
- 0:44SPEAKER_01: No, yeah.
- 0:44SPEAKER_01: You know, I just want to say this.
- 0:46SPEAKER_01: I used to watch Mr.
- 0:48SPEAKER_01: Rogers, but not when I was a kid.
- 0:50SPEAKER_04: Yeah?
- 0:51SPEAKER_01: I did.
- 0:51SPEAKER_01: I watched it as an I watched him as I loved Fred Rogers.
- 0:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 0:55SPEAKER_01: I watched him as an adult.
- 0:56SPEAKER_01: And of course I made all my kids watch him.
- 0:59SPEAKER_01: You know, just something about that mild manner.
- 1:01SPEAKER_01: And then to find out he was a freaking ex-marine.
- 1:04SPEAKER_04: Isn't that cool?
- 1:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:05SPEAKER_04: Oh my gosh, no, I'm with you.
- 1:07SPEAKER_04: He has a soothing way about him.
- 1:08SPEAKER_04: And it goes to show that like good children's media is just good media.
- 1:12SPEAKER_01: Oh, exactly.
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 1:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he he he was, as far as I'm concerned, one of the one of my favorites, all time favorites.
- 1:20SPEAKER_04: Hey, if you're near YouTube, treat yourself.
- 1:22SPEAKER_04: And gosh, I can't remember the name of the video exactly.
- 1:24SPEAKER_04: But it's Mr.
- 1:25SPEAKER_04: Rogers going in front of some sort of Senate hearing meeting.
- 1:29SPEAKER_01: Oh, I've seen that.
- 1:30SPEAKER_04: And in real time, you can see him change the mind of this grumpy old man.
- 1:33SPEAKER_04: By the end, he's like, thank you, Mr.
- 1:35SPEAKER_04: Rogers.
- 1:36SPEAKER_04: Yep, that's Mr.
- 1:38SPEAKER_04: Rogers.
- 1:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:39SPEAKER_01: Did you see the movie that Tom Hanks played here?
- 1:42SPEAKER_01: It's decent.
- 1:43SPEAKER_01: I need to watch it again.
- 1:44SPEAKER_01: It's not what you expect, though.
- 1:46SPEAKER_01: It took me to kind of took me by surprise, but it's a decent movie.
- 1:49SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's got Tom Hanks.
- 1:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I love Tom Hanks.
- 1:51SPEAKER_01: Come on.
- 1:52SPEAKER_01: But it does show his I think it showed Mr.
- 1:54SPEAKER_01: Rogers.
- 1:55SPEAKER_01: Tom did a great job.
- 1:56SPEAKER_01: Excuse me.
- 1:57SPEAKER_01: I don't know him personally.
- 1:58SPEAKER_01: Mr.
- 1:58SPEAKER_01: Hanks.
- 1:59SPEAKER_01: My good nobody Tommy did a great job portraying Mr.
- 2:04SPEAKER_01: Rogers.
- 2:05SPEAKER_01: Hey, listen, our email address is the general's wakeupcall at gmail.com.
- 2:09SPEAKER_01: That's all one word, all lowercase.
- 2:11SPEAKER_01: DudGeneral starts out D-A.
- 2:14SPEAKER_01: Generalswakeupcall at gmail.com.
- 2:17SPEAKER_01: We'd love to hear from you.
- 2:18SPEAKER_01: Our phone number is 505-512-3179.
- 2:22SPEAKER_01: I need somebody to call in and leave a nice message about me that they like me.
- 2:26SPEAKER_04: Or leave a mean message for me.
- 2:28SPEAKER_01: Sure, yeah, or leave a mean.
- 2:30SPEAKER_01: You know, that pisses me off though, Ben.
- 2:31SPEAKER_01: I don't want to.
- 2:32SPEAKER_04: Okay, well then leave a lukewarm message for both of us.
- 2:38SPEAKER_01: The protector in me will come out for sure.
- 2:41SPEAKER_01: Oh, thank you.
- 2:41SPEAKER_01: You know, I know I'm gonna remember.
- 2:43SPEAKER_01: I wanted to talk about some other stuff, and I can't even remember what that was, but I'm excited about the music that we're gonna do for today, uh, which was your idea.
- 2:52SPEAKER_01: Moving out and moving on, or moving on and moving out.
- 2:55SPEAKER_01: How do you think I have moving out and moving out, but it's moving on, moving out, moving out, moving on.
- 2:59SPEAKER_04: Yeah, moving out, moving on.
- 3:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I love it.
- 3:02SPEAKER_04: It's just uh springtime, it's time for change, it's time for new things to happen, and for anybody who has new life changes, we got the soundtrack for you today.
- 3:09SPEAKER_01: Oh, fantastic.
- 3:10SPEAKER_01: I yeah, I'm I'm looking for change.
- 3:12SPEAKER_04: So while we get our thoughts straight, I'll play you some Billy Joel, like the moving out song.
- 3:17SPEAKER_04: Oh.
- 6:37SPEAKER_01: Hey, you know, I've got these new headsets, this new head, I don't know what do you call these.
- 6:43SPEAKER_01: They're not, they're not the earbuds, because that's a franchise thing, but they look like it.
- 6:48SPEAKER_04: There, the the Apple product is AirPods.
- 6:50SPEAKER_01: AirPods.
- 6:51SPEAKER_04: So those to me would be earbuds.
- 6:53SPEAKER_01: Earbuds, yeah, because they are connected.
- 6:55SPEAKER_04: And they go right in your ear.
- 6:56SPEAKER_01: Right straight in your ear.
- 6:57SPEAKER_01: And I'm but the problem is the the lettering on which is right and which is left is so small, I need to get you to read it for me.
- 7:04SPEAKER_01: That's the right one.
- 7:05SPEAKER_04: Oh, you're not kidding.
- 7:06SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that's the right one.
- 7:08SPEAKER_04: Put like a red piece of tape in the room.
- 7:10SPEAKER_04: Right for red.
- 7:11SPEAKER_04: You know, you're not the only one though.
- 7:13SPEAKER_04: Like, I feel like a grandpa sometimes.
- 7:15SPEAKER_04: They make them so small.
- 7:16SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 7:17SPEAKER_01: You can't be having trouble with your eyes.
- 7:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you would you you don't necessarily wear glasses though, do you?
- 7:22SPEAKER_04: You wear them like for cosmetics sometimes.
- 7:25SPEAKER_04: Um I wear them because I uh have astigmatism.
- 7:29SPEAKER_01: Gotcha.
- 7:29SPEAKER_04: One eye is nearsighted, one eye is far-sighted.
- 7:32SPEAKER_04: And so they can focus to make things in focus for me, but if I do it too long, it gives me a headache.
- 7:36SPEAKER_01: I can relate to that.
- 7:38SPEAKER_04: So I don't need them, but if I don't wear them long enough, I am unpleasant.
- 7:41SPEAKER_04: I feel unpleasant.
- 7:43SPEAKER_01: I've never known you to be unpleasant.
- 7:45SPEAKER_01: You know, this some of this song is kind of fitting for you.
- 7:47SPEAKER_01: We're not gonna let all the cat out of the bag for sure, but I know you're definitely moving out, moving on, yeah.
- 7:54SPEAKER_01: And then and I I love the fact we need to have lessons on how to move your animals.
- 7:59SPEAKER_04: Yes, lessons on how to move your animals.
- 8:00SPEAKER_04: Dogs, I guess I just have moved to dogs my whole life, so moving my cat out, I didn't put him in the box and he didn't want to go in the box.
- 8:08SPEAKER_04: So now I have to get it.
- 8:09SPEAKER_01: Poor arms, yeah.
- 8:10SPEAKER_01: We should I I'm glad you're bandaged because it probably might have made me sick to look at that.
- 8:15SPEAKER_01: You know what you described it?
- 8:16SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I got a shower, I scrubbed them good.
- 8:19SPEAKER_04: My mom's a nurse, so you know she brought out all of her tools and all of her special wraps, so it's alright.
- 8:25SPEAKER_04: It's all cause it's only a flesh wound, as they say.
- 8:27SPEAKER_04: It's not cosmetic.
- 8:28SPEAKER_01: Only a flesh wound.
- 8:30SPEAKER_01: Um well, and you but it hurts your feelings when your cat's, you know, doesn't it?
- 8:35SPEAKER_04: Yes.
- 8:35SPEAKER_01: Can I I'll just I'll share this with you.
- 8:37SPEAKER_01: I we had this cat that we'd had forever when I first got married.
- 8:41SPEAKER_01: Name was Simon, had a little bump on his nose.
- 8:43SPEAKER_01: That's why we called him Simon.
- 8:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 8:45SPEAKER_01: He looked like a little Jewish cat.
- 8:47SPEAKER_01: But but um he uh he got out when and he was big.
- 8:52SPEAKER_01: I mean when he laid on my lap, he like took up my whole leg.
- 8:55SPEAKER_01: He was a monster tabby cat, gray.
- 8:59SPEAKER_01: And he was my cat.
- 9:00SPEAKER_01: I mean, he was my baby.
- 9:01SPEAKER_04: He was your boy.
- 9:02SPEAKER_01: He was and um he got out.
- 9:05SPEAKER_01: I think it was probably a good thing because I don't think he could have handled the new baby.
- 9:09SPEAKER_01: He got he and we never did find him, but we laid out those live traps because we wanted him.
- 9:14SPEAKER_01: He'd never been outside.
- 9:15SPEAKER_01: But he didn't has never been, he would never been declawed.
- 9:18SPEAKER_01: And I and I was out one night late, one o'clock in the morning checking those traps, and I looked down and I'm like, oh, Simon, and I'm talking to him, you know, and I open the door and I stick my hand in there.
- 9:34SPEAKER_04: Oh Simon!
- 9:36SPEAKER_01: It wasn't Simon.
- 9:38SPEAKER_01: No, and if it'd been him, it might have he might have been freaked out.
- 9:41SPEAKER_01: I mean, cat cats, you know, when you cage them up and they just they go shining a flashlight in his face.
- 9:47SPEAKER_04: Yeah, he wouldn't have even known who you were at that time.
- 9:49SPEAKER_04: Exactly.
- 9:49SPEAKER_04: But it definitely wasn't Simon.
- 9:51SPEAKER_04: No.
- 9:51SPEAKER_01: No, I you know, I left it open and saw him run up.
- 9:54SPEAKER_01: Oh, that ain't Simon, too small.
- 9:55SPEAKER_04: Sorry, Simon.
- 9:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah, or whoever.
- 9:57SPEAKER_04: So, yeah, sorry, not Simon.
- 9:59SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but you know, and I did, of course, I went the next day and got tennis shot.
- 10:03SPEAKER_01: Because, you know, who knew?
- 10:03SPEAKER_01: I mean, could have been it could have been rabid for all I know.
- 10:06SPEAKER_01: I don't know that it actually bit me.
- 10:08SPEAKER_04: I think it was more of like the scratching because they they scratch first and foremost.
- 10:12SPEAKER_04: Bean, I had to, this is my cat.
- 10:14SPEAKER_04: I love him.
- 10:14SPEAKER_04: I really cornered him with that blanket before he bit me.
- 10:17SPEAKER_04: Mostly it was just the back legs trying to jump off of me, you know, so I got a couple on my leg too.
- 10:22SPEAKER_01: Um, but yeah, there's just one good bite there where he was like, Well, you know, pets, they're like anybody else, they don't like change, I'm sure they didn't want to move.
- 10:32SPEAKER_04: And and fair enough to him, it's my fault.
- 10:34SPEAKER_04: The only time I ever put him in the uh carrier is when I'm taking him to the vet.
- 10:39SPEAKER_04: So as far as he was fighting for his life, baby.
- 10:43SPEAKER_04: So, yeah.
- 10:44SPEAKER_01: What's the kitty's name?
- 10:45SPEAKER_04: Bean.
- 10:46SPEAKER_01: Bean! Oh yeah, I remember that.
- 10:47SPEAKER_04: Because when I got him, he was just a little bean.
- 10:49SPEAKER_01: Little bean.
- 10:50SPEAKER_01: I remember it.
- 10:51SPEAKER_01: I love that name for a cat.
- 10:52SPEAKER_04: Thank you, me too.
- 10:53SPEAKER_04: Very, very un unassuming.
- 10:55SPEAKER_01: No.
- 10:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like that.
- 10:57SPEAKER_01: Bean!
- 10:57SPEAKER_04: Bean.
- 10:58SPEAKER_01: Alright, bean.
- 10:58SPEAKER_01: Well now you leave my little wren alone, please.
- 11:02SPEAKER_04: He's safe.
- 11:02SPEAKER_04: He has a little corner in my room for him to disown until he gets comfortable with the rest of the house.
- 11:08SPEAKER_01: Perfect.
- 11:08SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 11:09SPEAKER_01: Alright, so we're doing moving out, uh, moving, moving up, moving out, moving out, moving up.
- 11:14SPEAKER_04: We're moving on up to the east side.
- 11:15SPEAKER_01: Here we go, moving on up.
- 11:17SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it was moving out, moving on, but I'll take moving on up, too.
- 11:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I like that.
- 11:21SPEAKER_04: It's just about moving on, change.
- 11:22SPEAKER_04: Uh whatever it may be, because I'm personally moving out right now, so that's on my mind first and foremost.
- 11:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 11:29SPEAKER_01: Well, I think you've done rather well.
- 11:30SPEAKER_01: I think it was a good decision for what you're doing.
- 11:32SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 11:33SPEAKER_01: You know, I don't want to throw our personal lives out there, but I think you probably made the right.
- 11:37SPEAKER_01: Let me just say, and I think I told you this off mic, you you seem just a whole lot happier.
- 11:42SPEAKER_04: Thank you.
- 11:43SPEAKER_04: I feel very good.
- 11:43SPEAKER_01: Your whole demeanor is happy.
- 11:45SPEAKER_04: I feel very relieved.
- 11:46unknown: Yeah.
- 11:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 11:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 11:48SPEAKER_04: It's like getting out of getting out of one situation, getting into a new one, and gosh, with the weather so nice, it's just kind of so exciting and creating that.
- 11:58SPEAKER_01: Alright, what else you got over there, uh Miss Randy?
- 12:01SPEAKER_04: The other song I always think of with boxes and moving out is uh Beyoncé's irreplaceable.
- 12:46SPEAKER_01: Oh, not familiar to the song, but I like Beyonce.
- 12:49SPEAKER_01: Matter of fact, as a matter of fact, I just I love Beyonce.
- 12:53SPEAKER_01: Um more so than Mariah Carey.
- 12:58SPEAKER_04: I'm a big Beyoncé.
- 12:59SPEAKER_04: She worked with uh Lady Daga, so that's nice box.
- 13:12SPEAKER_07: Oh, to the left, in the closet, that's the best, yes, give the buttons.
- 16:43SPEAKER_01: I like that one, really.
- 16:44SPEAKER_01: That was a good one.
- 16:45SPEAKER_04: Me too.
- 16:45SPEAKER_04: I'm surprised you never heard it just because that song was everywhere when I was growing up.
- 16:49SPEAKER_04: And at first I was like, what a conceited song.
- 16:52SPEAKER_04: But then I realize it's about a girl who herself has been um taken for granted and not appreciated, and she's saying, This is my house, and you can appreciate me, or you can leave.
- 17:03SPEAKER_01: I like it.
- 17:03SPEAKER_04: Me too.
- 17:04SPEAKER_04: Thanks.
- 17:04SPEAKER_01: That is very I wonder where that came from.
- 17:08SPEAKER_04: Beyonce, she is a queen, Queen Bee.
- 17:10SPEAKER_01: Hey, listen, I have an exciting, uh, exciting news, and I'm gonna offer a raft trip for two uh from Desert River Guides LLC.
- 17:22SPEAKER_01: Uh be the first caller.
- 17:24SPEAKER_01: You first caller to leave me a message that you and all I want you to do is say, I want to go rafting.
- 17:31SPEAKER_01: And and we will give you a raft trip for two from uh uh from our new sponsor.
- 17:36SPEAKER_01: Well, actually, they're not a new sponsor, we only have them for the raft season.
- 17:39SPEAKER_07: RAF season, yeah.
- 17:40SPEAKER_01: They were with us last year, but Desert River Guides LLC, love those kids.
- 17:44SPEAKER_01: Cody and Ryan, they're just good, solid people, upstanding members of the community.
- 17:50SPEAKER_04: They're fun to hang out with, too.
- 17:51SPEAKER_04: They are as guides, they're great.
- 17:54SPEAKER_01: And you know, uh Cody works really hard with the River Reach Foundation to help keep our river uh uh pollution free.
- 18:01SPEAKER_01: I mean, he's working on legislation.
- 18:03SPEAKER_01: He's just we're gonna have them as a guest too, some point.
- 18:07SPEAKER_01: Um but anyway, with that being said, I'm gonna give those tickets away to the first person calls and say, I want to go on a raft trip.
- 18:13SPEAKER_04: And I want to hear, yeah, I want to hear your best Dave impression.
- 18:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah, give me your best Dave impression.
- 18:18SPEAKER_01: 505.
- 18:20SPEAKER_01: The first caller, okay, 505-512-3179, 505-512-3179.
- 18:26SPEAKER_01: Call and leave us that message, and we're gonna give you a pair of tickets to go on a raft trip this summer.
- 18:32SPEAKER_01: And you know, you don't necessarily have to be from the Four Corners area if you're gonna if you're traveling from out of town, out of country, out of yeah, out of country, if you're overseas, um, and you're gonna be, it's good for all summer long.
- 18:45SPEAKER_04: Um it's a wonderful way to uh appreciate the southwest, you know.
- 18:48SPEAKER_01: Oh absolutely.
- 18:49SPEAKER_04: People think of the desert as this dry, barren wasteland, but we're here to show you.
- 18:54SPEAKER_04: It's beautiful, it's teeming with with life and water, and you can be a part of it.
- 18:58SPEAKER_01: You know, it's funny because the the town just north of us, about 40 miles, Durango, has always been famous for their raft trips.
- 19:05SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 19:06SPEAKER_01: They still do them, but they only have one river that you can that they have available to them.
- 19:11SPEAKER_01: Just one?
- 19:11SPEAKER_01: Just one.
- 19:12SPEAKER_01: And we have two here in Farmington.
- 19:14SPEAKER_01: Two?
- 19:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and I'm gonna tell you point blank, after checking the prices, nothing against our brothers in Durango, but you can go on this raft for half the price you can go on a raft for one person.
- 19:25SPEAKER_01: Yeah, exactly.
- 19:27SPEAKER_04: I can't guarantee you it'll be just as pretty.
- 19:29SPEAKER_01: Yeah, oh it's beautiful.
- 19:30SPEAKER_01: And if you want rapids, they're also working on that was the other thing I found out uh from Cody, they're working on putting different you can put rocks in certain places to make the raft, you know, the the the river do uh raft or yeah, wet raft whitewater stuff.
- 19:45SPEAKER_04: Whitewater stuff, and then you know it'll be kind of ex a little extra safe because they'll never they won't do anything that they can't handle.
- 19:51SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 19:51SPEAKER_01: Well, see, and they've got mass experience.
- 19:53SPEAKER_01: I mean, Cody did it up in Montana for years along with his lovely wife Ryan, who owned the company.
- 19:59SPEAKER_01: They've been rafting, I don't know, 20 years, I think.
- 20:01SPEAKER_01: Combin combination between the two of them, probably close to 40 years.
- 20:05SPEAKER_07: Goodness.
- 20:05SPEAKER_01: Uh so they are very experienced, they know what they're doing, they train their guides, uh, basically is what it boils down to.
- 20:13SPEAKER_01: But yeah, it's a lot of fun.
- 20:14SPEAKER_01: You ever been on a raft trip?
- 20:15SPEAKER_04: I have, but uh not near soon enough, you know, like it's been a long time.
- 20:20SPEAKER_01: Well, I think we should do a a show while you're on the raft.
- 20:23SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 20:23SPEAKER_01: If I can get on it, then I will after the surgery.
- 20:25SPEAKER_01: We'll see.
- 20:26SPEAKER_04: Yes, please.
- 20:26SPEAKER_01: But yeah, we'll we'll do a show with you live on the room.
- 20:29SPEAKER_04: Even if you gotta stay on the ground and I live straight.
- 20:32SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'll put your button raft, Ren.
- 20:35SPEAKER_04: Oh, you know, oh yes, no, that's some of my favorite uh childhood summer memories was going on the river.
- 20:40SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah, I used to do it all the time when I lived in Durang.
- 20:42SPEAKER_01: Anytime somebody came, you know, we took them to the to the to the and did a raft ride.
- 20:46SPEAKER_01: They didn't have it here in Farmington.
- 20:47unknown: Oh yeah.
- 20:47SPEAKER_01: And now they're in their second year, Cody is, and they and they're doing fantastic, so we want to help them.
- 20:53SPEAKER_01: And we really appreciate them sponsoring us and giving us these raft trips to get away.
- 20:57SPEAKER_04: Oh, I'm psyched.
- 20:58SPEAKER_01: One hour, two hour, all or four hour, and then all and all day long.
- 21:01SPEAKER_01: You have choices that you can do.
- 21:03SPEAKER_01: We're gonna give a two-hour one away.
- 21:04SPEAKER_01: So which is about perfect if we got people in town, you just want something to do.
- 21:09SPEAKER_04: Which is a fun thing too, because people don't think of our small little suburb city as like an exciting nature getaway, but we absolutely have that stuff here.
- 21:19SPEAKER_01: We always conceded, you know, I had this conversation with somebody else a while back.
- 21:22SPEAKER_01: We always conceded to the folks in Durango for all the stuff they had up.
- 21:26SPEAKER_01: They used to have the best restaurants up there.
- 21:29SPEAKER_01: Uh everything was better in Durango.
- 21:32SPEAKER_01: And ain't that way no more?
- 21:33SPEAKER_01: And we have a lot of those folks coming down here now from southern Colorado because we have that stuff now.
- 21:39SPEAKER_04: And then we have the more affordable living.
- 21:41SPEAKER_04: Yes, right.
- 21:42SPEAKER_04: More affordable living.
- 21:44SPEAKER_01: And and you know, and obviously the restaurants and the pricing of that stuff is uh is uh is better as well.

- 21:57SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 21:57SPEAKER_01: Start with two million when you live in there.
- 21:59SPEAKER_04: There you go.

- 22:43SPEAKER_01: Just a little time.
- 22:44SPEAKER_01: Just keep so in love.
- 22:45SPEAKER_01: What do you got over there?
- 22:46SPEAKER_04: You know, as they say, that that's that's life.
- 22:51SPEAKER_04: Frank's enough.

- 23:03SPEAKER_03: That's what all the people say.
- 23:08SPEAKER_03: You're riding high in April, shut down in May.
- 23:14SPEAKER_03: But I know I'm gonna change that June.
- 23:20SPEAKER_03: When I'm back on top, back on top in June.
- 23:25SPEAKER_03: I said that's like funny as it may seem.
- 23:34SPEAKER_03: Some people get their kits, stopping on a dream.
- 23:40SPEAKER_03: But I don't let it, let it get me down.
- 23:49SPEAKER_03: It's been around.
- 23:52SPEAKER_03: I've been up, up and up, up on a phone and a pain.
- 23:59SPEAKER_03: I've been up and down and over and out and I know I'm playing.
- 24:05SPEAKER_03: It's time I find myself my face.
- 24:12SPEAKER_03: I pick myself up and yep, yeah, that's fine.
- 24:21SPEAKER_03: I tell you, I can't deny it.
- 24:26SPEAKER_03: I thought I'd written baby, but my heart just ain't gonna violate.
- 24:32SPEAKER_03: And if I didn't make it once worse one single time I jump right on a big bird, and then I find I bim up on a bird upon up on the team, I bim up and down and over and over.
- 24:55SPEAKER_03: And I know what I find myself, I don't think I just myself I'm gonna roll myself up.

- 34:40SPEAKER_02: Clear blue and unconditional.
- 34:42SPEAKER_02: Sky is from my eyes, no my lonely cries.
- 34:45SPEAKER_02: My elderly hope is for the bullet came to me with such an endurance thing.
- 34:49SPEAKER_02: It keeps up in the back.

- 35:17SPEAKER_07: I know that you want to have it.
- 35:23unknown: But I think you're back.
- 35:41SPEAKER_01: You know, and then we were talking about this during the song, but I swear to God, I used to think that they were saying, Don't go, Jason Waterfalls.
- 35:49SPEAKER_04: Yeah, me too, as a kid.
- 35:50SPEAKER_04: Don't go, Jason Waterfalls.
- 35:52SPEAKER_04: And I thought it was about a mystical man who was a water person.
- 35:55SPEAKER_04: And if he went over the waterfall, he'd he'd die.
- 35:59SPEAKER_01: We're gonna come back to that, but I want to also talk about the the person, the group that we played, because this just sounds like something my dad would do to me.
- 36:08SPEAKER_04: It's so cute.
- 36:09SPEAKER_04: Okay, so Paramour, I played their song Hard Times.
- 36:11SPEAKER_04: And you know, Paramore, especially if you're an old school emo kid like me, they're uh they've been at it for a long time.
- 36:17SPEAKER_04: And the lead singer, I can't remember her name at the moment, but she made it big when she was still just a teenager.
- 36:22SPEAKER_04: Right.
- 36:23SPEAKER_04: And her mom actually had venues cancel their concerts because she would have to ground her daughter.
- 36:29SPEAKER_04: She'd be in a low level.
- 36:32SPEAKER_04: Good grounded, good.
- 36:34SPEAKER_04: Sorry, I can't go to the concert tonight.
- 36:37SPEAKER_04: I've been grounded.
- 36:40SPEAKER_01: Did you ever get grounded?
- 36:42SPEAKER_04: There was a point where my parents stopped grounding me.
- 36:45SPEAKER_04: It was really weird because I just stopped like, I don't know.
- 36:48SPEAKER_01: My dad grounded me off into high school.
- 36:50SPEAKER_01: My senior year I got free hand, but before that, I you know got the car taken.
- 36:54SPEAKER_01: The worst thing they could do to me was take the keys away.
- 36:57SPEAKER_01: Which really used to piss me off.
- 36:59SPEAKER_01: I'd be like, well, isn't it my car?
- 37:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 37:02SPEAKER_04: Was it though?
- 37:03SPEAKER_04: Did you pay for it?
- 37:04SPEAKER_04: No.
- 37:04SPEAKER_04: Oh, okay.
- 37:05SPEAKER_01: No.
- 37:05SPEAKER_01: And I wasn't paying the insurance.
- 37:08SPEAKER_01: The only thing I did exactly was buy gas for it.
- 37:11SPEAKER_01: Alright, so let's talk about let's talk about TLC.
- 37:14SPEAKER_04: So the TLC stands for Okay, so T stands for uh T Boz, I believe it's pronounced.
- 37:21SPEAKER_04: Tion Watkins goes by T-Boz.
- 37:23SPEAKER_04: Lisa left eye Lopez, because she thought her left eye was just prettier than the other one.
- 37:28SPEAKER_01: Well, so see she was way ahead of Seal, because Seal covers up both eyes.
- 37:31SPEAKER_01: Does he?
- 37:31SPEAKER_01: Or Sia, not Seal.
- 37:33SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah, Sia, yeah.
- 37:34SPEAKER_01: Yeah, covered.
- 37:34SPEAKER_01: But these guys were before Sia.
- 37:36SPEAKER_04: This was before Sia, and then you got uh Rosonda Chili Thomas.
- 37:40SPEAKER_04: So you got T-Boz, left eye, and uh Chili.
- 37:43SPEAKER_01: So TLC.
- 37:44SPEAKER_04: TLC, just Q girls.
- 37:46SPEAKER_01: You're just you're full of it.
- 37:48SPEAKER_01: And great information too.
- 37:49SPEAKER_04: Oh, it's this wonderful thing called the internet.
- 37:52SPEAKER_01: Your eyes aren't brown, are they?
- 37:53SPEAKER_04: No, they're hazel.
- 37:55SPEAKER_04: Technically.
- 37:56SPEAKER_04: If you press me for it.
- 37:57SPEAKER_01: My my my dad used to say that was my why my eyes were brown, was because I was full of love.
- 38:06SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 38:06SPEAKER_01: And he's right, but you know, I got it from my mom, so.
- 38:10SPEAKER_04: Hey, you know, it's uh creative storytelling.
- 38:12SPEAKER_01: That's right, that's right, that's right.
- 38:14SPEAKER_01: Alright, so we're doing moving out, moving up, moving on, moving, just getting down the road.
- 38:19SPEAKER_04: Just getting down the road.
- 38:20SPEAKER_01: Making new beginnings.
- 38:21SPEAKER_01: Let's call it new beginnings.
- 38:22SPEAKER_04: It's new beginnings, and it's always good to remember though, as far as you go, remember the the places and the people who have made you.
- 38:28SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 38:29SPEAKER_04: In my life.
- 38:31SPEAKER_04: Oh nice.
- 38:32SPEAKER_01: This song makes me cry.
- 38:33SPEAKER_01: Oh, don't cry.
- 38:34unknown: Don't cry if you cry.
- 38:38SPEAKER_07: There are places I remember all my life, though some have changed, some forever, not for better.
- 38:52SPEAKER_07: Some have gone, and some remain always places, happy moments.
- 39:01SPEAKER_07: With lovers and friends, I still can recall.
- 39:06SPEAKER_07: Some are dead and some are living.
- 39:13SPEAKER_07: I've loved them all.
- 39:20SPEAKER_07: But of all these friends and lovers, there is no one who compares with you.
- 39:29SPEAKER_07: And these memories lose their meaning.
- 39:34SPEAKER_07: When I think of love as something new, Oh I know I'll never lose affection for people and things that went before.
- 39:48SPEAKER_07: I know I'll often stop and think about them.
- 39:53SPEAKER_07: In my life, I love you more Oh, I know I'll never lose a pension.
- 40:23SPEAKER_07: But when people I know I often stop and think about them.
- 40:51SPEAKER_01: You know, I know.
- 40:54SPEAKER_01: And you know it got me to reminisce and so we're gonna have to do a Beatles tribute at some point in time.
- 41:00SPEAKER_01: But that one's gonna be a that that's a gotta be a two, three part or something because they're just so much and they're individual careers.
- 41:07SPEAKER_04: Yes.
- 41:08SPEAKER_04: And I also would love to get into you know the the the politics of what their music represents and how that stuff is aged over the drug stage.
- 41:17SPEAKER_04: Yes, and oh anyway, sorry, I'm getting ahead of myself.
- 41:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and it was Ringo, wasn't it?
- 41:21SPEAKER_01: Ringo the one that said, because they were all doing drugs and Ringo was and you I think you made this comment on one of the shows.
- 41:27SPEAKER_04: No, I'm just gonna have my No, I'm just gonna have my cigarettes.
- 41:33SPEAKER_04: Yeah, Ringo was always so you would smoke pot, but it was like all the LSD stuff.
- 41:36SPEAKER_04: He's like, no, thanks.
- 41:37SPEAKER_04: Fellas I'm gonna play me drums.
- 41:39SPEAKER_01: Yes, right.
- 41:41SPEAKER_01: Gonna play me drums.
- 41:43SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
