- 0:22Speaker 2: you're listening to John.

- 0:24Speaker 5: Wake your ass up.
- 0:25Speaker 6: It's John Jay and Rich. Rich Barrett, today's National What
- 0:27Speaker 6: Day today?
- 0:28Speaker 2: It is International Caps Lock Day, where it's a holiday
- 0:31Speaker 2: dedicated to typing everything just like you're yelling at people.
- 0:34Speaker 6: I'm going fine, how are you? My handle seat does
- 0:36Speaker 6: that all the time.

- 0:41Speaker 2: special for your 70 dogs.
- 0:43Speaker 7: I will do something nice for my man.
- 0:45Speaker 2: Your dog? And it's National Nut Day. Who here loves nuts?
- 0:51Speaker 8: I do.
- 0:52Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 0:52Speaker 2: Also, if you could celebrate, you could have almonds, cashews, pistachios.
- 0:56Speaker 6: Oh, those kind of nuts.
- 0:57Speaker 9: Yes.
- 0:58Speaker 7: Wow, you thought they were D's?
- 1:00Speaker 9: Mm-hmm.
- 1:01Speaker 6: Hey, Ted, what's up, man?
- 1:02Speaker 2: You're on the air.
- 1:02Speaker 6: Good morning.
- 1:04Speaker 2: Good morning.
- 1:05Speaker 10: Long-time listener, first-time calling out of Tucson.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Right on, man.
- 1:09Speaker 10: Just 2,000 guys. I just wanted to weigh in on
- 1:12Speaker 10: Elmer's story about him seeing that tall guy with the
- 1:16Speaker 10: top hat on That's kind of a well-known entity, although
- 1:20Speaker 10: he's usually all black, and he's known as the Hat Man.
- 1:25Speaker 10: And generally, you can get him from dabbling in things like...
- 1:28Speaker 10: He's kind of like an attachment entity, and you can
- 1:32Speaker 10: get him from playing with the Ouija board and stuff
- 1:36Speaker 10: like that. He can start following you through that, so
- 1:38Speaker 10: maybe that's what this guy's dad was dabbling in way
- 1:41Speaker 10: back in the day.
- 1:43Speaker 2: Oh, that's interesting.
- 1:45Speaker 10: Aaron Rodgers, the football player, he... He actually has experiences
- 1:50Speaker 10: with the hat man ever since he went and did ayahuasca.
- 1:53Speaker 10: So you can look that up. And apparently the hat
- 1:56Speaker 10: man is actually a guy who used to live named
- 1:59Speaker 10: Papa Legba. And he was a voodoo witch doctor.
- 2:03Speaker 11: Okay, first of all, you're talking about Elmer who said
- 2:04Speaker 11: he described everything you just said Elmer said. But it
- 2:06Speaker 11: was a man in white with a white top hat.
- 2:10Speaker 11: You're saying it's real, but it's a guy in black.
- 2:13Speaker 12: Right.
- 2:13Speaker 10: And I'm just saying it could be the same guy
- 2:16Speaker 10: just in a, you know.
- 2:17Speaker 2: Switching it up? Switching up his wardrobe?
- 2:19Speaker 6: Kyle, you have your computer open. Can you Google him?
- 2:21Speaker 6: What's the guy's name?
- 2:22Speaker 2: What's his name?
- 2:22Speaker 12: Hatman.
- 2:23Speaker 6: Hatman, but also the real name.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Hatman.
- 2:26Speaker 10: Papa Legba.
- 2:27Speaker 13: Papa Legba.
- 2:28Speaker 2: I think it's L-E-G-B-A. Hold on.
- 2:31Speaker 6: What do you got, Kyle?
- 2:31Speaker 14: Like Papa, P-A-P-A, L-E-G-G-A?
- 2:34Speaker 6: Kyle has access to the World Wide Web.
- 2:36Speaker 2: But you can't hear very well. And we're one of
- 2:38Speaker 2: those modern shows.
- 2:38Speaker 14: Oh, it's like West African voodoo.
- 2:41Speaker 6: Like he's voodooing our story.
- 2:42Speaker 2: One at a time.
- 2:42Speaker 9: One at a time.
- 2:43Speaker 14: Ooh, he's scary.
- 2:44Speaker 7: That is a scary guy.
- 2:47Speaker 14: I wouldn't want to.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Mess with that.
- 2:49Speaker 10: Aaron Rodgers, the football player. Look that article up.
- 2:56Speaker 15: Okay.
- 2:57Speaker 7: This is like the voodoo man.
- 2:58Speaker 10: We got to let Elmer know.
- 3:00Speaker 16: Okay.
- 3:05Speaker 17: The good news is, is Hat Man does not come
- 3:07Speaker 17: unless invoked first. So you have to sort of invite
- 3:11Speaker 17: him in, just kind of like what you said, Ouija board, other.
- 3:13Speaker 2: Ways of doing it.
- 3:14Speaker 6: Isn't the man with the hat the guy that was
- 3:15Speaker 6: in charge of Curious George?
- 3:16Speaker 2: That's right. The man with the yellow hat.
- 3:18Speaker 7: But that's the yellow hat.
- 3:20Speaker 14: That's the yellow hat.
- 3:22Speaker 2: So, Ted, there was this thing floating around the internet.
- 3:26Speaker 2: I would say maybe five years ago that people were
- 3:29Speaker 2: seeing the same guy in their dream. And when they
- 3:32Speaker 2: did a police sketch, He was sort of a guy
- 3:34Speaker 2: with a receding hairline. Do you know what I'm talking about?
- 3:37Speaker 2: And everybody would go on the internet and go, yeah,
- 3:40Speaker 2: I've seen that guy too in my dream. Just a
- 3:43Speaker 2: dream about a dude.
- 3:44Speaker 10: Yeah, I know who you're talking about.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Uh-huh.
- 3:47Speaker 2: So whatever became of that? Just a phenomenon?
- 3:53Speaker 10: I'm not sure, but I know Hat Man is more
- 3:56Speaker 10: widespread and has haunted lots and lots of people within
- 4:00Speaker 10: the last 30 years that I've seen on the internets. Luckily,
- 4:04Speaker 10: I've never seen him.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Thank God. I don't want to bring him up anymore.
- 4:07Speaker 7: It's like Princess and the Frog, the voodoo man from there.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Thanks for calling in, dude.
- 4:12Speaker 6: Thank you, Ted.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Love you guys.
- 4:14Speaker 10: Been listening for almost 30 years. God bless.
- 4:16Speaker 18: Have a great day.
- 4:17Speaker 11: I like the way Ted goes, I think I know
- 4:19Speaker 11: what you're talking about. That's not what I'm talking about, Rich.
- 4:22Speaker 11: It was like he was doing some sort of song.
- 4:26Speaker 6: Michael, good morning. You have a scary story, Michael?
- 4:29Speaker 9: Yes, I do.
- 4:30Speaker 5: I grew up in a neighborhood where it was just haunted.
- 4:33Speaker 5: Everybody had some sort of story about kids at the
- 4:35Speaker 5: end of their bed parties going on when they're in
- 4:37Speaker 5: the shower, things of that nature. But for me specifically, um,
- 4:42Speaker 5: the house I was in, like I lived in the basement,
- 4:44Speaker 5: we had a basement and some, you know, sometimes, you know,
- 4:47Speaker 5: I would just be sitting there watching TV and somebody
- 4:50Speaker 5: would be walking by my door and I'm just, I
- 4:52Speaker 5: would literally get up and be like, hello, is anybody there? So,
- 4:56Speaker 5: One night, like three nights in a row, you know
- 4:58Speaker 5: how you would watch the TV and the station would
- 5:00Speaker 5: go out and the TV would just go blank? Three
- 5:05Speaker 5: nights in a row, I woke up at 2 o'clock
- 5:08Speaker 5: on the dot, and on the third night, I woke
- 5:11Speaker 5: up and I'm like, dude, this is just weird. Why
- 5:12Speaker 5: do I keep waking up exactly at 2 o'clock? And
- 5:15Speaker 5: then the TV is on, it's still illuminating the room,
- 5:17Speaker 5: but I look on the ground and there's this black
- 5:20Speaker 5: shape that almost looked like a dog, but I couldn't
- 5:22Speaker 5: see through it. So I start sitting up and I'm like,
- 5:25Speaker 5: what the heck is that? And it shot into the air.
- 5:28Speaker 5: It almost looked like a white mist and it hit
- 5:30Speaker 5: me in the chest to the point where I went, oof,
- 5:33Speaker 5: and it started shaking me. So I didn't really know
- 5:35Speaker 5: what to do at that point. I just, I think
- 5:37Speaker 5: I started praying and slowly but surely it stopped shaking me.
- 5:40Speaker 5: But yeah, that was my scary story. At that point,
- 5:44Speaker 5: I told my mom what happened. She's just like, hey,
- 5:46Speaker 5: ask God not to see these things but man I
- 5:49Speaker 5: was just like other people would spend the night at
- 5:51Speaker 5: their house they would see like a ghost in her
- 5:53Speaker 5: room our dogs would continually like run into corners and
- 5:56Speaker 5: bark at something that wasn't there but it never got physical.
- 5:59Speaker 6: Until that one night that's crazy what city.
- 6:02Speaker 5: Were you in I was in San Jose California oh
- 6:05Speaker 5: San Jose.
- 6:06Speaker 2: And do you know the way to San.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Jose yeah it was close to an Indian burial ground
- 6:12Speaker 1: oh there you go that's all you have to say
- 6:15Speaker 1: for sure messing with some stuff there That's what Poltergeist was, too.
- 6:20Speaker 2: That movie Poltergeist, where they built a subdivision on an
- 6:23Speaker 2: ancient Indian burial ground.
- 6:25Speaker 6: Oh, Jesus.
- 6:26Speaker 2: All right, Michael.
- 6:27Speaker 6: Yeah, it's a good one, man. Thank you very much, man.
- 6:30Speaker 6: Thanks for sharing that.
- 6:31Speaker 11: It's the scary story and the scariest thing that ever
- 6:34Speaker 11: happened to you. We're sprinkling them all the way up
- 6:37Speaker 11: until Halloween.
- 6:38Speaker 6: And then what? Turkey stories after that.
- 6:40Speaker 11: All the way until Thanksgiving.
- 6:44Speaker 2: You got a ghost turkey? We want to hear about
- 6:45Speaker 2: that ghost turkey. We want to hear about it.
- 6:51Speaker 6: Hey, what's the vibe for horoscopes today?
- 6:53Speaker 7: Okay, so today is the very last day of Libra season,
- 6:57Speaker 7: so I'm going to let you know what you can
- 6:59Speaker 7: expect because the universe has some unfinished business. So if
- 7:02Speaker 7: it's your birthday today, you are a Libra, but you
- 7:05Speaker 7: can be considered a Scorpio cusp, and you share a
- 7:07Speaker 7: birthday with 21 Savage, Roddy Ricch, and Shaggy.
- 7:10Speaker 6: You know what is someone's birthday today? I think it's Dara. Dara,
- 7:12Speaker 6: is it your birthday today?
- 7:14Speaker 8: Yes, it is.
- 7:14Speaker 19: Happy birthday!
- 7:16Speaker 7: Happy birthday! I love that.
- 7:20Speaker 14: Okay, Daryl.
- 7:21Speaker 7: Aw, thank you. On one of the last days of
- 7:23Speaker 7: your season, the universe is asking you to make one
- 7:26Speaker 7: final decision. You have been putting it off. So whether
- 7:30Speaker 7: it's ending a situationship that you're in or committing to
- 7:32Speaker 7: some plans or finally telling someone how you actually feel,
- 7:36Speaker 7: you just can't keep asking six different friends what they think.
- 7:39Speaker 7: So at some point, you've just got to pick one.
- 7:41Speaker 10: Got to make a decision, huh?
- 7:42Speaker 2: Yeah, I know.
- 7:43Speaker 7: It's hard for a Libra. I know.
- 7:46Speaker 14: That is hard for us.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Well, happy birthday.
- 7:48Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 7:49Speaker 3: You guys, thank you so much. I appreciate it.
- 7:51Speaker 6: Have a great day today. Thank you for listening. Michelle,
- 7:54Speaker 6: good morning. What's your sign?
- 7:56Speaker 15: Good morning.
- 7:56Speaker 20: I'm a Sagittarius.
- 7:58Speaker 7: Okay, Michelle, you are about to hear about a really
- 8:01Speaker 7: fun event and immediately convince yourself and your entire friend
- 8:04Speaker 7: group to go. But the problem is you haven't checked
- 8:06Speaker 7: the price, the location, or whether it's even happening this
- 8:09Speaker 7: weekend or not. Your enthusiasm is contagious, but someone else
- 8:12Speaker 7: needs to be in charge of the details.
- 8:14Speaker 18: Definitely.
- 8:15Speaker 13: That is so me.
- 8:16Speaker 18: Yes.
- 8:18Speaker 6: Thanks, Michelle.
- 8:19Speaker 7: Thank you, Peyton. Hi, you're welcome.
- 8:20Speaker 6: Peyton, what's the vibe again?
- 8:21Speaker 7: The vibe, it's the last day of Libra season. So
- 8:24Speaker 7: I'm just kind of telling you what you can expect
- 8:25Speaker 7: for the day.
- 8:26Speaker 6: Okay.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:28Speaker 6: Well, it's twice I've heard you say Libra. It sounds
- 8:29Speaker 6: weird to me.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Libra.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Libra?
- 8:30Speaker 6: It's not like you said Libra season.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Libra season?
- 8:33Speaker 9: Libra.
- 8:33Speaker 2: Like lemur season?
- 8:34Speaker 1: No.
- 8:35Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 8:35Speaker 1: Libra.
- 8:35Speaker 7: The Libras.
- 8:36Speaker 6: All right. So let's do Pisces.
- 8:39Speaker 7: Yeah, okay, Rich, you're our Pisces in the room. You
- 8:41Speaker 7: are about to realize that you have been creating unnecessary
- 8:44Speaker 7: drama in your love life. You have been analyzing punctuation,
- 8:48Speaker 7: response times, and whether someone has used a heart emoji
- 8:52Speaker 7: or a smiley face emoji. So before you convince yourself
- 8:54Speaker 7: that your relationship and marriage is over, try asking an
- 8:57Speaker 7: actual question instead of texting your group chat.
- 9:00Speaker 2: Wow, that's heavy.
- 9:01Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Okay. Will do, Peyton. All right.
- 9:03Speaker 11: See, so like there's three readings you've done so far
- 9:05Speaker 11: that involve group chat and friends.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 9:07Speaker 6: I thought that was a part of the vibe, but
- 9:08Speaker 6: it's not.
- 9:08Speaker 2: Not necessarily.
- 9:09Speaker 7: It's just really the last day of Libra season.
- 9:11Speaker 16: Okay.
- 9:12Speaker 6: What about for you?
- 9:12Speaker 2: Leading up one season, getting into another one.
- 9:14Speaker 7: Yeah, I'm a Leo. So for us Leos, we are
- 9:17Speaker 7: about to get an opportunity to really show off the
- 9:19Speaker 7: talent that we've been keeping to ourselves. So maybe someone's
- 9:22Speaker 7: going to ask us to lead a project or speak
- 9:24Speaker 7: at an event or take on something we've never done before.
- 9:26Speaker 7: So just remember us Leos to not downplay ourselves just
- 9:29Speaker 7: because we're afraid of looking too confident. That's literally our brand.
- 9:33Speaker 7: So live in it.
- 9:33Speaker 6: Okay, how about Virgos?
- 9:35Speaker 7: John Jay, you are about to discover that someone has
- 9:37Speaker 7: been taking credit for an idea that you came up with.
- 9:40Speaker 7: So before you start collecting screenshots and preparing your opening statement,
- 9:43Speaker 7: kind of give them a chance to explain. But absolutely
- 9:46Speaker 7: keep those receipts in a folder labeled like just in
- 9:49Speaker 7: case you need them in the back end.
- 9:51Speaker 6: Okay.
- 9:52Speaker 2: All right.
- 9:54Speaker 11: If we didn't get to your sign, they are all
- 9:56Speaker 11: posted on our website right now. Okay, you guys, I
- 10:24Speaker 11: asked our very own Noah Lashley to pull something for me,
- 10:26Speaker 11: pull some audio for me. There was a website called
- 10:29Speaker 11: ultimateclassicrock.com and they put together all this research and they
- 10:33Speaker 11: put together a list of the most hated songs.
- 10:36Speaker 2: The most hated songs in rock.
- 10:39Speaker 7: Because they're annoying or overplayed?
- 10:41Speaker 2: Probably all those things. Or maybe they just get under
- 10:45Speaker 2: people's skin.
- 10:46Speaker 11: So I pulled the top six most hated songs and
- 10:51Speaker 11: Some of these, it's under rock, but I don't think
- 10:53Speaker 11: some of these are rock, but that doesn't matter.
- 10:55Speaker 6: I think these are all songs we know.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Okay.
- 10:57Speaker 11: And I think these are all songs that when you
- 10:59Speaker 11: hear them, I enjoy them. I don't want to hear
- 11:01Speaker 11: them over and over again, but Noah, Noah, what'd you
- 11:04Speaker 11: think when you pulled them?
- 11:05Speaker 16: I think the list rocks.
- 11:08Speaker 2: They should be the most loved songs on your playlist?
- 11:10Speaker 16: I get what the list is saying now that I know.
- 11:13Speaker 2: But the songs slap. The song slap.
- 11:16Speaker 6: Okay.
- 11:17Speaker 2: All right.
- 11:17Speaker 9: Hold on.
- 11:18Speaker 2: I haven't seen this list, but before you get to
- 11:20Speaker 2: number one, I won't take a guess until you get
- 11:22Speaker 2: to number one.
- 11:22Speaker 8: Okay.
- 11:22Speaker 11: Don't take a guess until you get to number one.
- 11:24Speaker 11: But when I play the song, let it breathe for
- 11:27Speaker 11: a second before you comment.
- 11:28Speaker 2: Okay.
- 11:28Speaker 6: So this is song number six of the most hated
- 11:30Speaker 6: songs of all time.
- 11:33Speaker 2: That was going to be my number one guess. Don't
- 11:45Speaker 2: you remember? We built this city.
- 11:49Speaker 21: We built this city on rock and roll.
- 11:53Speaker 2: I feel like this is being a cartoon nowadays.
- 11:55Speaker 7: I've never heard this song in my life.
- 11:58Speaker 2: It's in the Lego movie? It's Starship.
- 12:00Speaker 19: We built this city.
- 12:03Speaker 6: It's the band. It's called Starship. We built this city.
- 12:05Speaker 14: It's not Cobra Starship.
- 12:07Speaker 20: No.
- 12:08Speaker 6: Starship. Starship. We built this city.
- 12:10Speaker 11: That is the number six most hated song of all time.
- 12:12Speaker 2: That was my pick for number one.
- 12:13Speaker 11: Never heard it. This is the number five most hated
- 12:17Speaker 11: song of all time.
- 12:35Speaker 2: Shiny Happy People by R.E.M. I feel like that's from
- 12:37Speaker 2: Chicken Little. I could see that one.
- 12:38Speaker 16: Could be annoying.
- 12:39Speaker 7: Oh, I love Chicken Little, but I don't recognize the song.
- 12:42Speaker 6: And this is the number four most hated song in rock.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Eisenhower vaccine. England's got a new queen.
- 12:49Speaker 9: Marciano Liberace satire and a good boy.
- 12:54Speaker 2: Billy Joel. I mean, that's kind of iconic if you
- 13:06Speaker 2: make one of the most hated songs ever. That's pretty good.
- 13:09Speaker 2: That means it was probably pretty popular at some point.
- 13:11Speaker 6: Didn't some band just redo it? Yeah, Fall Out Boy did.
- 13:14Speaker 6: Fall Out Boy redid it. Yeah, that's right.
- 13:16Speaker 2: The number three most hated song in rock and roll.
- 13:20Speaker 2: How dare they?
- 13:33Speaker 6: How dare they? Phil Collins.
- 13:50Speaker 2: Lily Collins' dad. Emily in Paris' dad. How can anybody
- 13:54Speaker 2: want to take Sue's studio? Yes, Noah.
- 13:57Speaker 16: Play a Phil Collins record on a vinyl turntable. It
- 14:02Speaker 16: sounds absolutely incredible.
- 14:04Speaker 2: You do that?
- 14:05Speaker 16: Yes. My mom raised me on Phil Collins and I
- 14:09Speaker 16: bought the record just because I got a nice turntable
- 14:12Speaker 16: and I'm not joking.
- 14:13Speaker 2: It is like a I'm with you.
- 14:16Speaker 6: That is something that I don't want to do. He's
- 14:18Speaker 6: a national treasure, Phil Collins. I don't have a turntable,
- 14:21Speaker 6: and I don't have vinyl.
- 14:22Speaker 11: So Phil Collins, Sousou Studio, the number two most hated
- 14:26Speaker 11: song in rock and roll.
- 14:27Speaker 9: I'm not a fan.
- 14:33Speaker 6: From the hit Tom Cruise movie, Cocktail.
- 14:36Speaker 2: Kokomo by the Beach.
- 14:40Speaker 6: Boys.
- 14:41Speaker 2: Not their best work.
- 14:44Speaker 17: Payton looks like she might hate all of these.
- 14:56Speaker 7: I don't know any of these songs. I'm literally 0
- 14:59Speaker 7: for 5 right now.
- 15:00Speaker 2: That's okay.
- 15:01Speaker 6: This wasn't like, what songs does Payton not know?
- 15:03Speaker 7: Well, I'm just saying, but before when you started, you
- 15:05Speaker 7: said these are songs that we all know, and I
- 15:07Speaker 7: don't know any of these songs.
- 15:08Speaker 14: I grew up in a very different.
- 15:10Speaker 7: I don't think she would like.
- 15:11Speaker 22: This, actually.
- 15:12Speaker 16: What?
- 15:13Speaker 6: Your grandma would know these songs.
- 15:15Speaker 7: She would know those songs. I don't know if she
- 15:16Speaker 7: would like those.
- 15:17Speaker 2: Which means she.
- 15:17Speaker 6: Would fit right in this category. These are songs that
- 15:19Speaker 6: people hate.
- 15:20Speaker 1: That's true.
- 15:20Speaker 6: These are songs people hate.
- 15:21Speaker 11: And the number one most hated song in rock and roll, which,
- 15:26Speaker 11: by the way, before you play it, is a big debate.
- 15:28Speaker 11: Noah told me a fun fact about this song.
- 15:31Speaker 6: It's from a movie. It's from a movie that his
- 15:34Speaker 6: parents was their first date.
- 15:37Speaker 9: What?
- 15:37Speaker 2: How dare they?
- 15:39Speaker 7: Armageddon.
- 15:42Speaker 14: Cause I miss you, babe.
- 15:44Speaker 2: And I don't want to miss a thing.
- 15:48Speaker 7: This one actually does sound a little familiar.
- 15:51Speaker 14: I feel like you wouldn't know this one.
- 15:52Speaker 7: I don't, yeah.
- 15:54Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 15:55Speaker 2: This was Aerosmith's biggest hit, and I think that's what
- 15:57Speaker 2: people have a problem with, because they're a rock band,
- 15:59Speaker 2: and this is a love song.
- 16:01Speaker 11: I'm not gonna lie to you, I enjoy all these songs,
- 16:03Speaker 11: but they're also the kind of songs, like, I don't
- 16:05Speaker 11: listen to rock in any rock stations, but they probably play.
- 16:07Speaker 6: All the time.
- 16:07Speaker 14: Right, and you don't want to hear them all the time.
- 16:10Speaker 16: Without this song, I would not be here.
- 16:13Speaker 7: Oh, they make love. They make love to that song.
- 16:17Speaker 11: Damn you to hell.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 16:20Speaker 9: We should say thank you, Steven Tyler.
- 16:22Speaker 14: That is their baby-making song.
- 16:24Speaker 6: I'll give you a little fun fact about the song.
- 16:26Speaker 2: I was watching.
- 16:27Speaker 11: What my dad had on the TV show 60 Minutes,
- 16:30Speaker 11: and they were interviewing Barbra Streisand and her husband, James Brolin.
- 16:34Speaker 11: James Brolin is Thanos' dad from all the Avengers movies, and...
- 16:40Speaker 11: Interview in 60 Minutes, he says to the news reporter,
- 16:43Speaker 11: he says, my wife, Barbara Stratton, I love her so
- 16:45Speaker 11: much that I don't want to go to sleep because
- 16:47Speaker 11: I feel like I'm going to miss her. And Steven
- 16:49Speaker 11: Tyler was watching that. And he wrote this song based
- 16:51Speaker 11: off of that 60 Minutes interview.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Oh, my goodness. From ABC News, 2020 continues. Once again,
- 16:57Speaker 2: Barbara Walters.
- 16:58Speaker 8: The other night, he was, you know what spooning is,
- 17:01Speaker 8: don't you? I think so. So he was like whispering,
- 17:05Speaker 8: was holding me and whispering.
- 17:07Speaker 2: Sleeping like Spoonstock.
- 17:08Speaker 14: Yeah, sleeping like Spoonstock.
- 17:09Speaker 8: Cuddling in bed. Is that what we're talking about? And
- 17:11Speaker 8: we were just about to fall asleep. I thought, you know,
- 17:13Speaker 8: he says, I don't want to fall asleep. And so
- 17:16Speaker 8: I say, why not? And he says, because then I'll
- 17:19Speaker 8: miss you.
- 17:23Speaker 2: Damn you, Barbara Streisand. If you wouldn't have slept so beautifully,
- 17:28Speaker 2: Noah wouldn't be here.
- 17:30Speaker 7: Why have we said a bad name?
- 17:32Speaker 2: Damn you, Noah.
- 17:33Speaker 6: Damn you, Noah, to hell.
- 17:35Speaker 2: I mean, baby, maybe when we're playing this right now, Noah,
- 17:38Speaker 2: your parents are making love right now.
- 17:39Speaker 14: Yeah, he doesn't want to do that.
- 17:41Speaker 2: Right now. Right now they're making love.
- 17:43Speaker 23: No, no, no.
- 17:43Speaker 6: Do you think your parents did it on the first
- 17:45Speaker 6: night after seeing that movie?
- 17:46Speaker 2: Do you think they hooked up?
- 17:48Speaker 16: My parents have rehearsed the story of how they met.
- 17:51Speaker 16: And they claim that they just stayed up talking the
- 17:54Speaker 16: first night. She was so enamored by my dad's eyes,
- 17:56Speaker 16: and they.
- 17:56Speaker 2: Just stayed up and talked. He does have beautiful eyes.
- 17:58Speaker 2: He has beautiful eyes.
- 17:59Speaker 6: I get it. And I think you got his eyes, huh?
- 18:03Speaker 2: You got his eyes. I do, yeah.
- 18:04Speaker 6: You have beautiful eyes.
- 18:04Speaker 16: And our eyelashes, which is why my last name is Lashley.
- 18:07Speaker 14: You mean you guys changed your last name?
- 18:09Speaker 16: That's why they changed it? The Lashleys have known to
- 18:12Speaker 16: have beautiful eyelashes for like 100 years.
- 18:15Speaker 7: Oh, it sounded like you guys changed your last name
- 18:17Speaker 7: to Lashley because.
- 18:18Speaker 2: You got the long lash.
- 18:19Speaker 6: I wonder if my last name would have been originally
- 18:20Speaker 6: receding hairline.
- 18:22Speaker 8: Wow.
- 18:22Speaker 2: We'd like to dedicate this to Winifred and Noah's dad.
- 18:26Speaker 6: Make love. Noah's mom, who I nicknamed Winifred.
- 18:30Speaker 14: Yeah, you can use.
- 18:31Speaker 22: The Walmart card, but keep it under 40 bucks, okay?
- 18:35Speaker 14: Spend the rest with your money. I'm trying to pay
- 18:38Speaker 14: it down.
- 18:39Speaker 17: But somebody, somebody keeps sucking your father and I dry.
- 18:45Speaker 6: Those are the most hated songs in rock and roll.
- 18:47Speaker 9: Hey, guys, it's time for Stacks and Hacks. Yay!
- 18:59Speaker 11: I got stacks of information. Rich has life hacks. Halloween
- 19:01Speaker 11: candy keeps shrinking while the prices keep climbing.
- 19:06Speaker 7: What a shame.
- 19:07Speaker 8: It's insane.
- 19:08Speaker 14: I literally just bought some yesterday and it was maddening.
- 19:11Speaker 11: Some packages now have 17% less candy than they did
- 19:14Speaker 11: a few years ago. And candy costs have jumped up 71%
- 19:17Speaker 11: since 2021.
- 19:21Speaker 7: When is it going to stop?
- 19:23Speaker 1: I know.
- 19:23Speaker 7: Like, this is getting out of hand.
- 19:25Speaker 6: Okay, now, a couple days ago, we talked about that
- 19:27Speaker 6: flying car, right?
- 19:28Speaker 10: Yes, yes.
- 19:29Speaker 11: So, now they did a big poll on that. Would
- 19:31Speaker 11: you personally want to ride in a flying car if
- 19:35Speaker 11: you had the opportunity?
- 19:37Speaker 6: Yes.
- 19:37Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 19:40Speaker 14: Depends who the pilot is.
- 19:41Speaker 11: You know, what's funny is I thought about this, and
- 19:44Speaker 11: I think about it like I do a hot air balloon.
- 19:46Speaker 11: I wouldn't mind going on a hot air balloon, but
- 19:47Speaker 11: why it's tethered and just go up a little bit,
- 19:49Speaker 11: I don't want to go all the way, way, way,
- 19:51Speaker 11: way up. So I would probably go in a flying
- 19:53Speaker 11: car just a little bit and back down again. Maybe
- 19:55Speaker 11: as high as the ceiling. Like rooftop level? Yeah, like
- 19:57Speaker 11: a one-story apartment.
- 19:59Speaker 2: I kind of figure that's what they're going to have
- 20:00Speaker 2: to be because you can't go, you know, mess up
- 20:02Speaker 2: where helicopters and airplanes go.
- 20:04Speaker 6: That's where they're doing it. Is that the way it's going?
- 20:06Speaker 14: No, I don't think they probably will be able to
- 20:07Speaker 14: go that high.
- 20:08Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 20:09Speaker 12: Whatever.
- 20:12Speaker 2: Just above the bridges.
- 20:15Speaker 6: Charging your phone to 100%. Who does that?
- 20:19Speaker 5: Me.
- 20:19Speaker 2: All the time.
- 20:20Speaker 6: I do it every night. I plug it in.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:22Speaker 11: Charging your phone to 100% all the time speeds up
- 20:26Speaker 11: battery wear, which can cut the life of your phone
- 20:29Speaker 11: by 10% to 15%. You also should not let it
- 20:31Speaker 11: drain your battery to 0%. Keeping it from 20% to 80%
- 20:34Speaker 11: is the best, is what it says.
- 20:36Speaker 2: That's what they say about electric cars, too. If you
- 20:38Speaker 2: charge them 100%. Then you wear down the battery on
- 20:42Speaker 2: an electric car.
- 20:42Speaker 10: Oh, really?
- 20:43Speaker 7: I have noticed on my iPhone that if I plug
- 20:45Speaker 7: my phone in at night, it'll stop charging at 80%,
- 20:48Speaker 7: and it'll say, battery, stop charging until sufficient something. It, like,
- 20:53Speaker 7: stops it.
- 20:54Speaker 14: That's cool.
- 20:55Speaker 10: I know.
- 20:55Speaker 7: It's actually kind of nice.
- 20:56Speaker 11: Peyton, you brought up wanting to go to the movies
- 20:58Speaker 11: that are adult-only movies, no kids allowed.
- 21:00Speaker 10: Yes, please.
- 21:00Speaker 6: People have been demanding adult-only flights.
- 21:03Speaker 9: Yes.
- 21:04Speaker 6: This might be as close as you get.
- 21:05Speaker 11: Apparently JetBlue vacations and Virgin Voyages are teeming up to
- 21:07Speaker 11: offer adults only do not disturb travel packages that include
- 21:10Speaker 11: child-free flights.
- 21:11Speaker 7: I love it. And it's not that like children are
- 21:14Speaker 7: bad or anything. I just want another option. Stop it, Peyton.
- 21:17Speaker 14: You know you hate kids.
- 21:18Speaker 7: I do not hate kids. But apparently that is the narrative.
- 21:22Speaker 2: So who knows?
- 21:24Speaker 14: Peyton doesn't hate kids.
- 21:26Speaker 11: Woman is going viral on TikTok for explaining how she
- 21:30Speaker 11: intentionally sleeps at the airport. Listen to this. She gives
- 21:34Speaker 11: three reasons. She breaks it down why you should always
- 21:36Speaker 11: sleep at the airport.
- 21:37Speaker 21: There's three reasons to plan to stay in the airport.
- 21:40Speaker 21: I just stayed here overnight. First of all, it's free.
- 21:44Speaker 21: We got in at night, so it didn't make sense
- 21:46Speaker 21: to spend money on a hotel just to sleep. So
- 21:48Speaker 21: we stayed here for free. Reason number two, if you're
- 21:51Speaker 21: on the side of the security checkpoint where everyone's been
- 21:53Speaker 21: checked and got through security, everyone's been vetted. You know,
- 21:56Speaker 21: no one has any weapons or anything crazy. So it's...
- 22:01Speaker 21: much safer knowing like people have been checked and reason
- 22:05Speaker 21: number three it's kind of fun and like relaxing and
- 22:09Speaker 21: novel like if you're prepared you know you're gonna do
- 22:12Speaker 21: it you maybe bring some extra supplies to make sure
- 22:14Speaker 21: you're comfortable and situated it's nice like it works out I.
- 22:18Speaker 17: Feel like you're really brave to do that, because even
- 22:20Speaker 17: if they don't have weapons, they can still be a
- 22:22Speaker 17: total creeper and mess with you while you're sleeping.
- 22:24Speaker 1: Right.
- 22:24Speaker 7: I've had to sleep overnight at an airport before, and
- 22:26Speaker 7: it is one of the creepiest things ever. I would
- 22:29Speaker 7: never want to.
- 22:30Speaker 14: Voluntarily do that.
- 22:31Speaker 2: It's also not comfortable at all. Those chairs are barely
- 22:33Speaker 2: comfortable to sit and wait for the plane.
- 22:34Speaker 7: Unless you have the airport that's attached to the hotel,
- 22:37Speaker 7: like in Bangkok or something like that.
- 22:38Speaker 2: Well, then that's going to a hotel.
- 22:40Speaker 11: Did you know that cemetery and graveyard can be used interchangeably,
- 22:44Speaker 11: but there is a difference?
- 22:46Speaker 1: What?
- 22:46Speaker 14: What's the difference?
- 22:47Speaker 6: Graveyard?
- 22:48Speaker 11: It's typically a smaller plot directly on church grounds. They're
- 22:52Speaker 11: older with uniform headstones and are likely to be filled
- 22:54Speaker 11: to capacity. A cemetery is often independent land anywhere in
- 22:59Speaker 11: a community. They're typically larger, open to anyone, including groups
- 23:02Speaker 11: of military veterans, and allow more flexible headstone and monument types.
- 23:06Speaker 2: I wonder if there's any, like, new cemeteries that just
- 23:08Speaker 2: opened up. Like, check out our brand-new cemetery. You'd be
- 23:11Speaker 2: the first guy buried in here.
- 23:12Speaker 7: Like, do you buy a lot of land in a
- 23:14Speaker 7: neighborhood and be like, I'm just going to build a
- 23:16Speaker 7: cemetery here?
- 23:17Speaker 11: I was driving with a buddy of mine yesterday, and
- 23:18Speaker 11: there was this development that kind of, like, broke down,
- 23:20Speaker 11: and it's not finished yet.
- 23:22Speaker 6: And my friend goes.
- 23:24Speaker 11: I was the first guy they offered a plot of
- 23:26Speaker 11: land here.
- 23:26Speaker 6: It's to build a house.
- 23:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:28Speaker 6: So you're saying if you're the guy in the cemetery,
- 23:30Speaker 6: you're the first guy in here.
- 23:31Speaker 2: You want to go near a tree? You want to
- 23:33Speaker 2: go near a tree.
- 23:34Speaker 6: Rich, this is for you here. You guys know the
- 23:36Speaker 6: band Fleetwood Mac?
- 23:37Speaker 2: Yeah. Fleetwood Mac.
- 23:39Speaker 11: Apparently, they did so much cocaine to get through the
- 23:42Speaker 11: recording their album Rumors.
- 23:43Speaker 2: Awesome album.
- 23:44Speaker 11: That they considered it a necessity more than something enjoyable.
- 23:48Speaker 11: And they contemplated putting their drug dealer in the album credits.
- 23:52Speaker 14: Oh, my gosh.
- 23:54Speaker 2: Cocaine by Jimmy. That's crazy.
- 23:55Speaker 7: Which is fascinating because I'm like, it's not like they
- 23:58Speaker 7: were on like acid or hallucin- like mushrooms or something. Like,
- 24:02Speaker 7: that's a totally different kind of- I don't know how
- 24:04Speaker 7: that would help your creativity.
- 24:05Speaker 2: So you got, if you don't know, that album is
- 24:08Speaker 2: sold like, I think a hundred and something million copies.
- 24:10Speaker 24: It's like, what's a song that I would know?
- 24:15Speaker 2: Only happens when it's raining.
- 24:18Speaker 6: It's in every tick tock.
- 24:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 24:20Speaker 6: The guy that was drinking the fricking drink on the skateboard.
- 24:23Speaker 6: And he was drinking that, what is that song?
- 24:26Speaker 2: It's called Dreams. That was the one I was doing.
- 24:27Speaker 2: The one Kyle said, Landslide's on there.
- 24:29Speaker 7: Oh, I know Landslide.
- 24:30Speaker 14: Yeah, that's, I feel like.
- 24:31Speaker 2: But Landslide's not on that one. But anyway, Rumor's huge,
- 24:33Speaker 2: huge album. There's a book about it that I think
- 24:35Speaker 2: that's probably from. And they talk about how everybody in
- 24:39Speaker 2: the band was either sleeping with each other or just
- 24:42Speaker 2: broke up with each other. Oh, it's toxic in her DNA.
- 24:45Speaker 14: It is toxic.
- 24:46Speaker 2: It's all over the record. It's still one of the
- 24:48Speaker 2: best albums of all time. Stevie Nicks with Arcadia High.
- 24:51Speaker 1: All right.
- 24:51Speaker 6: Rich, what do you got for life hacks?
- 24:53Speaker 2: Let me tell you something about 2026. Like pretty much
- 24:56Speaker 2: every company that you call, there's no humans waiting to
- 24:59Speaker 2: answer the phone anymore. In fact, it's mostly bots and
- 25:02Speaker 2: mostly AI. Dylan's not real. Well, except for here. When
- 25:05Speaker 2: you call, you will talk to a mostly live Dylan
- 25:08Speaker 2: or John G will pick up sometimes. But they say
- 25:11Speaker 2: that it used to be the thing to do is
- 25:13Speaker 2: hit the zero button to get the operator. Well, the
- 25:15Speaker 2: AI has figured that out. Or you say operator. None
- 25:19Speaker 2: of that works. The quickest way to get to a
- 25:21Speaker 2: human in 2026 is say, cancel my service, because all
- 25:26Speaker 2: the bots are programmed to retain customers. So if you
- 25:29Speaker 2: want to talk to a human, say, cancel my service,
- 25:33Speaker 2: and you will get connected, usually within 30 seconds. That
- 25:36Speaker 2: life hack and many more can be found at johnjainrich.com.
- 25:39Speaker 11: Agent, what's a little bit about what you're going through
- 25:41Speaker 11: on War of the Roses or your marriage or dating?
- 25:43Speaker 9: Whatever.
- 25:44Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying.
- 25:46Speaker 25: I got home and all my plants were dead and
- 25:48Speaker 25: I think my husband's cheating on me.
- 25:50Speaker 6: Okay. All right.
- 25:51Speaker 2: That's enough.
- 25:53Speaker 6: We will talk to you and get the whole story
- 25:54Speaker 6: next with John Dean Rich.
- 25:56Speaker 8: Hey, dummy.
- 25:57Speaker 7: If you get free roses, it's a trap.
- 26:12Speaker 2: War of the Roses starts right now on John Jay
- 26:15Speaker 2: and Rich.
- 26:16Speaker 11: It's time for War of the Roses. John Jay and Rich,
- 26:18Speaker 11: you think so much cheating on you, so you come
- 26:19Speaker 11: to us. Good morning, Adrienne.
- 26:21Speaker 1: Good morning.
- 26:22Speaker 6: What's your story?
- 26:24Speaker 20: Well, so I had to go out of town last
- 26:28Speaker 20: minute for work this past weekend. And before I left,
- 26:32Speaker 20: I told my.
- 26:32Speaker 25: Husband, I gave him like a list of very specific
- 26:35Speaker 25: things to do.
- 26:37Speaker 20: One that I really wanted.
- 26:39Speaker 15: Was watering my plants.
- 26:40Speaker 20: I have some really expensive plants I've had for years,
- 26:43Speaker 20: and when I got home last Sunday, they were all dead.
- 26:47Speaker 26: It shows that he clearly didn't even touch them. And
- 26:51Speaker 26: when I asked him about it, he said he forgot.
- 26:54Speaker 20: So I went and I checked our ring cameras, and conveniently, they, like,
- 27:00Speaker 20: died Friday afternoon right after I left.
- 27:03Speaker 6: He forgot to water those, too.
- 27:04Speaker 7: He took out the batteries up to something real shady.
- 27:07Speaker 14: How convenient.
- 27:08Speaker 5: Right.
- 27:09Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 27:12Speaker 2: Oh, the cameras died. I thought you were saying the
- 27:14Speaker 2: plants died.
- 27:15Speaker 13: No, no, no.
- 27:15Speaker 2: I'm sorry. The plants died.
- 27:17Speaker 24: The cameras died.
- 27:18Speaker 2: But I mean, like on Friday afternoon, you can see
- 27:19Speaker 2: them just over wilt. And then Friday afternoon, they're all gone.
- 27:22Speaker 2: Now I get it. Yeah, he unplugged the batteries.
- 27:26Speaker 20: So I couldn't look at anything this weekend.
- 27:29Speaker 26: And there is a woman named Michelle that he used
- 27:33Speaker 26: to work with who I've always sort of been suspicious of.
- 27:37Speaker 26: And a few months ago, she FaceTimed him at midnight,
- 27:41Speaker 26: which she claimed was an accident. But I just think
- 27:44Speaker 26: that was inappropriate.
- 27:46Speaker 20: I don't know how you FaceTime someone by accident at midnight. Anyway,
- 27:50Speaker 20: she's also recently single, and they used to text constantly
- 27:55Speaker 20: until I said something about it. And I genuinely think
- 27:58Speaker 20: he spent the entire weekend at her house, and that's
- 28:01Speaker 20: why he didn't.
- 28:03Speaker 25: Take care of the plants.
- 28:04Speaker 2: Or she was at your house all weekend. That's why
- 28:06Speaker 2: the cameras were unplugged. Ew.
- 28:09Speaker 20: Oh, yeah, that makes sense.
- 28:10Speaker 7: Was there anything that you noticed around the house? Something
- 28:13Speaker 7: maybe misplaced other than your dead plants?
- 28:17Speaker 14: You know what I mean?
- 28:18Speaker 18: Unplugged cameras.
- 28:19Speaker 2: What about something else? What about not even single Michelle?
- 28:23Speaker 7: No, I'm thinking of another woman being in your home.
- 28:26Speaker 7: I'm talking about a random stray hair.
- 28:28Speaker 17: She might not have been there, but he may have
- 28:31Speaker 17: unplugged the cameras because he didn't want to see that
- 28:33Speaker 17: he wasn't there.
- 28:34Speaker 10: Right.
- 28:34Speaker 7: Who knows?
- 28:35Speaker 2: You know what's weird about this is there's almost nothing...
- 28:38Speaker 2: he could excuse himself from that doesn't make him sound
- 28:41Speaker 2: guilty to me at this point. He sounds totally guilty.
- 28:44Speaker 7: Well, we got to find out what his explanation is
- 28:45Speaker 7: and who he sends these roses to.
- 28:47Speaker 11: All right, we'll get him on the phone and find out.
- 28:49Speaker 11: But real quick, I am a little naive in this
- 28:52Speaker 11: part of the world, Adrienne. If you don't water plants
- 28:55Speaker 11: over two days, they die.
- 28:56Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 28:56Speaker 11: I know Kyle kills every plant she comes in contact with.
- 28:58Speaker 14: I'm like, don't ask me plant care.
- 29:00Speaker 6: I don't know how to worry, because I don't think
- 29:01Speaker 6: I've ever watered plants.
- 29:02Speaker 7: It's not that they die.
- 29:03Speaker 2: Well, one of them's an orchid.
- 29:06Speaker 9: Oh.
- 29:06Speaker 15: They're very hard to keep alive. And you can just tell, like,
- 29:11Speaker 15: they've been thirsty.
- 29:13Speaker 14: One of them did die.
- 29:14Speaker 6: Like Michelle. She's thirsty.
- 29:16Speaker 7: She probably is.
- 29:17Speaker 2: Okay. Sorry.
- 29:20Speaker 6: What do you call it? Infidelity humor.
- 29:23Speaker 2: All right.
- 29:24Speaker 11: We're going to get your husband online. What is his name, Adrienne?
- 29:27Speaker 20: Jacob.
- 29:27Speaker 6: Okay.
- 29:28Speaker 9: Hold on.
- 29:28Speaker 1: Okay.
- 29:28Speaker 6: We're going to get Jacob on the phone. We're going
- 29:29Speaker 6: to see who he sends the flowers to. Kyle, are
- 29:31Speaker 6: you ready to do this?
- 29:31Speaker 27: I'm ready.
- 29:32Speaker 14: Let's bust this guy.
- 29:32Speaker 1: Okay.
- 29:33Speaker 5: Let's go.
- 29:33Speaker 6: War of the Roses continues next with Jotty and Rich.
- 29:36Speaker 9: All right, we're in the middle of War of the Roses.
- 29:43Speaker 2: You got Adrian here who goes out of town for
- 29:45Speaker 2: a weekend.
- 29:46Speaker 6: All she asked her husband Jacob to do.
- 29:49Speaker 11: water the plants guess what he didn't water the plants
- 29:51Speaker 11: when she got home they were dying they were dead
- 29:53Speaker 11: and she was pretty pissed because she's had him for
- 29:54Speaker 11: a long time so she goes and checks the cameras
- 29:58Speaker 11: batteries taken out of the cameras she's putting two and
- 30:00Speaker 11: two together she realizes also that an old co-worker of
- 30:03Speaker 11: his or a co-worker of his facetimed him at midnight
- 30:06Speaker 11: a few weeks ago she said they said it was
- 30:08Speaker 11: a mistake she's pretty confident something's going on so she
- 30:12Speaker 11: wants us to find out if he's cheating so adrian
- 30:14Speaker 11: that's a quick setup did i leave anything out is
- 30:17Speaker 11: that good are you ready to go Yes.
- 30:20Speaker 6: Kyle, are you ready?
- 30:21Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 30:21Speaker 6: Here we go.
- 30:22Speaker 19: Hello?
- 30:34Speaker 14: Hi there. Is Jacob available?
- 30:37Speaker 3: Yes, is he?
- 30:38Speaker 8: Perfect.
- 30:38Speaker 14: Hi, Jacob.
- 30:39Speaker 17: So my name is Sienna. I'm with a new company.
- 30:41Speaker 17: We're called J & R Flowers. I'm really just trying
- 30:42Speaker 17: to get the word out. So we started this social
- 30:45Speaker 17: media campaign that you've actually been chosen for.
- 30:47Speaker 14: Congratulations.
- 30:48Speaker 17: What this means for you, Jacob, is you get to
- 30:51Speaker 17: send our most romantic bouquet of roses. We call it
- 30:53Speaker 17: our Pure Passion Bouquet. A dozen red roses, beautiful vase,
- 30:56Speaker 17: very like woo-worthy.
- 30:58Speaker 14: I mean, it's stunning.
- 31:00Speaker 17: Totally free. You do this totally free. You send it
- 31:02Speaker 17: to someone special in your life. And, you know, what
- 31:04Speaker 17: we're kind of hoping to return is that you, you know,
- 31:06Speaker 17: either repost something on our Instagram or just post about
- 31:09Speaker 17: J & R Flowers so, like, all of your friends
- 31:11Speaker 17: know that we're, like, a great brand to choose.
- 31:14Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 31:16Speaker 3: I'm not going to get, like, a bunch of... email
- 31:19Speaker 3: spam from this, am I?
- 31:20Speaker 17: No, I mean, I don't even need your email address.
- 31:22Speaker 17: I don't need your address. I don't need a credit
- 31:24Speaker 17: card or any information like that. Um, the one, the
- 31:27Speaker 17: really only thing that I will need from you, and
- 31:29Speaker 17: it's a really cool thing that we're doing, um, when
- 31:33Speaker 17: whoever you choose to receive this beautiful gift, uh, when
- 31:36Speaker 17: they get it, we send it with a, like a
- 31:38Speaker 17: voice note.
- 31:39Speaker 14: It's like a voice memo.
- 31:40Speaker 17: Um, and that's your chance to really kind of just
- 31:42Speaker 17: say whatever you want them to hear when they receive, um,
- 31:46Speaker 17: this gift and and that's really the only thing that
- 31:49Speaker 17: i need from you i we can get that going
- 31:51Speaker 17: whenever you're ready if you're.
- 31:52Speaker 3: Down okay sure perfect okay so all right.
- 31:55Speaker 17: So you're just gonna hear a little beep and that's
- 31:56Speaker 17: when you can start that's when i'm recording right about now.
- 32:00Speaker 14: At the tone please record your message.
- 32:03Speaker 3: I know this weekend was a lot but i'm glad
- 32:07Speaker 3: we finally got to spend some real time together i
- 32:10Speaker 3: promise things are going to change soon i love you.
- 32:13Speaker 14: Okay, that's a great message.
- 32:15Speaker 17: So we'll talk address in just a second, but just
- 32:19Speaker 17: give me a name that I can address this to.
- 32:21Speaker 3: Can you send it to Michelle?
- 32:24Speaker 25: Things are going to change soon? What the does that mean, Jacob?
- 32:29Speaker 25: I would think very hard before you choose to speak.
- 32:33Speaker 12: Hi.
- 32:33Speaker 1: What? Hello? Hi.
- 32:36Speaker 27: Adrienne?
- 32:37Speaker 3: What's going on?
- 32:39Speaker 25: What's changing? Why are you sending Michelle flowers?
- 32:44Speaker 3: Wait, no, no, what is this? Some kind of setup?
- 32:48Speaker 2: Yes.
- 32:49Speaker 25: I knew something happened. What's changing? Did you have her
- 32:53Speaker 25: in my house, Jacob?
- 32:56Speaker 3: Adrian, please, can we just talk about this.
- 32:58Speaker 27: When I get home?
- 32:59Speaker 25: No, you're going to talk to me about it right now.
- 33:01Speaker 15: What do you mean things are going to change?
- 33:03Speaker 27: No, just give me, can we just talk about this
- 33:08Speaker 27: another time?
- 33:08Speaker 2: It's fine.
- 33:10Speaker 25: What do you mean things are going to change?
- 33:14Speaker 2: It means I'm leaving, okay? It means I'm leaving.
- 33:17Speaker 3: Michelle and I have been looking at apartments.
- 33:20Speaker 9: Oh.
- 33:20Speaker 3: We actually found one this weekend, and I was going
- 33:24Speaker 3: to tell you.
- 33:25Speaker 6: I didn't know how.
- 33:26Speaker 25: Oh, my God.
- 33:27Speaker 12: I'm going to throw up.
- 33:29Speaker 25: You went apartment hunting with another woman while I was
- 33:32Speaker 25: out of town?
- 33:33Speaker 27: Well, I haven't been happy for a very long time, Adrienne.
- 33:37Speaker 3: And I know that's hard to hear, but I'm just
- 33:38Speaker 3: trying to figure out how to get out of this
- 33:39Speaker 3: marriage for months.
- 33:41Speaker 25: So you've just been coming home and sleeping next to me,
- 33:43Speaker 25: acting like everything is normal?
- 33:45Speaker 27: Because every time I tried to bring up how unhappy
- 33:48Speaker 27: I was, you acted like everything was fine. I need
- 33:51Speaker 27: to actually have a conversation about this. And Michelle actually
- 33:54Speaker 27: listens to me. I feel like I'm myself when I'm
- 33:57Speaker 27: with her.
- 33:57Speaker 1: Wow.
- 33:59Speaker 25: And I was really upset because you kill my plants
- 34:01Speaker 25: and you're literally planning a whole new life behind my back.
- 34:06Speaker 1: Well, I'm sorry.
- 34:07Speaker 7: We've been married for years.
- 34:09Speaker 5: I'm sorry, okay?
- 34:10Speaker 27: I don't want to be married to you anymore.
- 34:13Speaker 12: You're such a coward.
- 34:14Speaker 27: I don't want to be married. I haven't for a
- 34:16Speaker 27: long time.
- 34:17Speaker 12: And we can talk about this when I get home.
- 34:19Speaker 25: You're not going to want to be married to anybody.
- 34:20Speaker 7: I'm sorry, Adrian.
- 34:22Speaker 2: Yeah. That's hard to watch.
- 34:23Speaker 11: Hold on, Adrian.
- 34:24Speaker 6: We'll talk to you real quick, see if we can
- 34:25Speaker 6: get you some counseling real quick.
- 34:26Speaker 2: Hold on a second.
- 34:28Speaker 6: That's War of the Roses.
- 34:29Speaker 2: You're John T.
- 34:29Speaker 8: Rich.
- 34:30Speaker 7: I live my day as if it was the last.
- 34:32Speaker 2: I had one chance to.
- 34:33Speaker 9: Make me last.
- 34:34Speaker 14: Second time is one to last.
- 34:37Speaker 6: Hey, I want to explain something.
- 34:38Speaker 11: We just did War of the Roses, and I want
- 34:39Speaker 11: to explain something that happened behind the scenes that some
- 34:41Speaker 11: of you guys know about, some of you don't know about, okay?
- 34:43Speaker 2: Okay.
- 34:44Speaker 12: Okay.
- 34:45Speaker 11: So we're doing War of the Roses, and... I started
- 34:48Speaker 11: doing something a couple weeks ago on my own because
- 34:50Speaker 11: I'm all into longevity.
- 34:52Speaker 14: Yes, you like the biohacking life.
- 34:55Speaker 11: I like the biohacking life. I saw this thing with
- 34:57Speaker 11: Andrew Huberman. You talk about sometimes when you can't sleep,
- 35:00Speaker 11: there are certain things you can do when you lay
- 35:02Speaker 11: in bed. And then it's like to move your eyes
- 35:04Speaker 11: as far to the right as you can, as far
- 35:06Speaker 11: to the left as you can, and then in circles
- 35:08Speaker 11: and then cross your eyes. And it's supposed to help
- 35:11Speaker 11: your eyes relax so you can go to sleep. Well,
- 35:13Speaker 11: I saw this other thing. where they do this thing,
- 35:15Speaker 11: this Japanese culture. And I learned about it about three
- 35:18Speaker 11: weeks ago. And I do it now all the time
- 35:21Speaker 11: when I got nothing going on. I look at it
- 35:23Speaker 11: and I'm thinking. And Kyle, you kind of caught me
- 35:26Speaker 11: doing it.
- 35:27Speaker 2: What was I doing?
- 35:28Speaker 14: You do that weird thing with your mouth?
- 35:30Speaker 7: With your eyes?
- 35:31Speaker 6: What was I doing?
- 35:31Speaker 17: You were like at your mouth, kind of like your
- 35:33Speaker 17: tongue sort of singing like.
- 35:34Speaker 10: No, close, close.
- 35:36Speaker 11: So what they say they do in Japanese, in Japan,
- 35:38Speaker 11: is you stick your tongue out like this for like,
- 35:42Speaker 11: it's like exercise, like push it with your tongue.
- 35:43Speaker 2: You go like this. Like a lizard.
- 35:47Speaker 6: But longer. Like you hold it out for like lizards,
- 35:49Speaker 6: you know, like you're like.
- 35:51Speaker 2: I've seen that on TV.
- 35:52Speaker 11: So you pull it, you stretch your tongue out so
- 35:55Speaker 11: you feel it being pulled right here.
- 35:56Speaker 2: So you're like... Ow. Yeah, but I've been doing it
- 35:59Speaker 2: a lot lately, and I like it.
- 36:01Speaker 14: It looks strange.
- 36:01Speaker 2: It does. I did it.
- 36:02Speaker 11: I was on the treadmill this morning, and there's a
- 36:03Speaker 11: mirror in front of me. I do it on the
- 36:05Speaker 11: treadmill all the time, and I stare at myself.
- 36:07Speaker 7: I thought you were talking about the thing you do
- 36:09Speaker 7: with your eyes.
- 36:11Speaker 14: You have a very pointy tongue.
- 36:13Speaker 6: I think I'm getting stronger.
- 36:15Speaker 2: I think we used to not be pointy. Look at
- 36:17Speaker 2: your little tongue. You have a pointy one, too.
- 36:19Speaker 14: Oh, and you stick it out that way. Oh, my gosh,
- 36:22Speaker 14: your tongue's so little.
- 36:25Speaker 2: You're not doing it.
- 36:25Speaker 6: That's not how you do it.
- 36:27Speaker 2: You're doing it wrong.
- 36:28Speaker 7: How do we do it?
- 36:29Speaker 6: You're sticking your tongue out like you do with someone
- 36:30Speaker 6: making a face.
- 36:31Speaker 1: No.
- 36:32Speaker 6: Keep your mouth open. Now stick your tongue out.
- 36:35Speaker 2: Straight out.
- 36:35Speaker 28: I don't like that.
- 36:36Speaker 2: Straight out. Not down. Straight out.
- 36:39Speaker 6: By the way, did I make a weird noise? No,
- 36:42Speaker 6: I did not.
- 36:42Speaker 2: I stick your tongue out.
- 36:44Speaker 14: It's hard not to make a noise.
- 36:47Speaker 2: You guys are idiots.
- 36:49Speaker 8: No.
- 36:49Speaker 7: Open your mouth.
- 36:50Speaker 6: Stick your tongue out straight.
- 36:51Speaker 2: No, you're curving it. You're curving it.
- 36:53Speaker 9: Straight.
- 36:56Speaker 16: I can't.
- 36:57Speaker 2: And then do it like 10 times. It's weird. I
- 37:02Speaker 2: don't like it.
- 37:03Speaker 6: Do it again. Do it again. Now you're doing it
- 37:07Speaker 6: like girls.
- 37:07Speaker 14: When you do it fast, it's hard to keep it straight.
- 37:09Speaker 2: Straight.
- 37:09Speaker 1: Straight.
- 37:12Speaker 14: Stupid what is it supposed.
- 37:13Speaker 2: To do again it's make you live a long time.
- 37:15Speaker 14: It is that's like what's the logic.
- 37:18Speaker 6: Behind it you gotta do it right not like this.
- 37:22Speaker 17: Sorry okay straight is there some sort of connection between
- 37:25Speaker 17: a strong tongue and a long life I.
- 37:27Speaker 29: Just read the headline and kept going okay I wonder
- 37:32Speaker 29: if I google it google it is there is there
- 37:38Speaker 29: I've been doing it for like three weeks, and I
- 37:40Speaker 29: feel like my tongue got stronger. Like when you say
- 37:43Speaker 29: the point is pointy, I think that's the muscles in
- 37:45Speaker 29: my tongue.
- 37:45Speaker 2: Like you could lick the shit out of an ice
- 37:47Speaker 2: cream cone.
- 37:47Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 37:48Speaker 6: Oh, whoa. I was doing a break on the air.
- 37:51Speaker 6: This whole thing was on the air. Am I the
- 37:53Speaker 6: bleep rich out now?
- 37:54Speaker 16: Sorry.
- 37:54Speaker 2: I thought you were just talking.
- 37:57Speaker 16: No. Oh, yes.
- 37:59Speaker 14: Okay.
- 38:00Speaker 6: What's it say?
- 38:01Speaker 17: It's the AIUB exercise.
- 38:04Speaker 6: Okay.
- 38:04Speaker 17: It is a popular Japanese oral and facial workout created
- 38:08Speaker 17: by Dr. Takashi Imai to strengthen tongue and throat muscles,
- 38:13Speaker 17: reduce mouth breathing, and lower aspiration risks that can affect
- 38:17Speaker 17: health later on in life.
- 38:18Speaker 15: See?
- 38:19Speaker 2: That's what I've been doing.
- 38:21Speaker 17: It improves swallowing, reduces aspiration pneumonia, encourages nasal breathing.
- 38:26Speaker 26: See?
- 38:26Speaker 6: I've been doing all that. Now you guys can do it, too.
- 38:29Speaker 2: Thanks for that. Whatever you got, nothing going on.
- 38:31Speaker 6: Just stick your tongue out.
- 38:32Speaker 2: Do some tongue-ups. All right.
- 38:34Speaker 8: Okay.
- 38:34Speaker 6: That's how you live long.
- 38:35Speaker 14: Thank you, John Jay.
- 38:36Speaker 9: You're welcome.
- 38:47Speaker 6: A brand-new tape we created.
- 38:48Speaker 2: It's John Jay and Rich.
- 38:49Speaker 6: That's called Housewife.
- 38:50Speaker 11: We need to contest it for a minute to win it. 877-937-1047.
- 38:57Speaker 11: Weather light yesterday. Controversial weather. Tornadoes, no tornadoes. I'm seeing
- 39:01Speaker 11: all over the place hail. Peyton walked in with his TikTok.
- 39:04Speaker 6: That was crazy. Here's a TikTok Peyton brought in.
- 39:08Speaker 9: Jesus.
- 39:09Speaker 7: It was just normal right now. Look at that.
- 39:12Speaker 2: It's hailing.
- 39:13Speaker 7: I told you. It's not snow, but it's hail. Stay
- 39:16Speaker 7: away from the windows. Make sure the window don't break
- 39:19Speaker 7: in there. It's like directly at it.
- 39:21Speaker 9: It's a.
- 39:25Speaker 7: Birdie, bro.
- 39:27Speaker 6: And that is from Zaldana. Good morning, Zaldana.
- 39:31Speaker 2: Hey, guys.
- 39:32Speaker 13: How are you doing?
- 39:33Speaker 1: Good.
- 39:33Speaker 6: What part of town are you in where that hail hit?
- 39:37Speaker 18: Metro Center.
- 39:38Speaker 6: Wait, say that again. By where?
- 39:39Speaker 1: Where?
- 39:39Speaker 24: Metro Center.
- 39:42Speaker 2: Oh, interesting.
- 39:43Speaker 11: Because I saw it all over the news. I saw
- 39:45Speaker 11: it all over social media. And I got to tell you,
- 39:47Speaker 11: I feel like my house had some protective shield. Nothing
- 39:49Speaker 11: hit my house.
- 39:50Speaker 2: Nothing.
- 39:50Speaker 6: Not even one raindrop.
- 39:51Speaker 5: Are you kidding me?
- 39:52Speaker 17: I feel like the storms were really isolated. Like in
- 39:55Speaker 17: certain parts, you go on social media and you're like,
- 39:57Speaker 17: that looks insane. Like I was out at Carrington College
- 40:00Speaker 17: in Glendale and they were saying their coworkers at the
- 40:02Speaker 17: Phoenix location, literally every single one of them, their cars,
- 40:06Speaker 17: so much damage from the hail. And it was like,
- 40:09Speaker 17: I mean, it was raining where we were, but not
- 40:10Speaker 17: anything like that at all.
- 40:13Speaker 24: Yeah, it was pretty bad over here. I thought my
- 40:15Speaker 24: window was going to break. My patio broke. All of
- 40:19Speaker 24: our cars got dents and everything. Our power line even
- 40:22Speaker 24: fell off. I have that on my TikTok as well.
- 40:25Speaker 24: Our power line in front of my house fell, and
- 40:27Speaker 24: it created this big noise, and then they had to
- 40:30Speaker 24: block off my street.
- 40:31Speaker 12: It was just insane.
- 40:32Speaker 11: Well, let me put out this public service announcement for
- 40:35Speaker 11: anybody that got car damage. Rich and I have friends,
- 40:38Speaker 11: Orlando Auto Body, Shane Orlando. He texted this morning, and
- 40:40Speaker 11: he said, he was like, Hey, man, tell people. They'll
- 40:43Speaker 11: do like a free, what is it, a hail damage?
- 40:45Speaker 2: Yeah, because a lot of people got their windows busted,
- 40:47Speaker 2: but those little dents on your car. The service shops

- 40:52Speaker 2: get in, do it now, and Orlando Auto Body will

- 40:56Speaker 6: OrlandoAutobody.com. It sounds like we just did a commercial.
- 40:58Speaker 2: Well, I mean, that's a good public service because they're
- 41:01Speaker 2: taking care of it, and they were up and ready
- 41:03Speaker 2: to go this morning.
- 41:03Speaker 14: Well, now everyone's like, what the heck do I do?
- 41:05Speaker 14: How do I get this fixed? So it's kind of necessary.
- 41:07Speaker 16: Right.
- 41:08Speaker 7: In Arizona in general.
- 41:10Speaker 24: Other people in my comments asking me if they have
- 41:13Speaker 24: roofer companies, if they need any roofing.
- 41:16Speaker 6: Roofing company?
- 41:17Speaker 2: ArizonaRoofers.com. Arizona Roofers.
- 41:19Speaker 6: Go to Arizona Roofers.
- 41:21Speaker 15: They're all hitting me up and everything.
- 41:22Speaker 7: We just don't get this kind of weather out here,
- 41:25Speaker 7: so it really is... Now's when you.
- 41:27Speaker 2: Need our sponsors.
- 41:29Speaker 24: And I'm from Colorado, and even in Colorado, the weather
- 41:32Speaker 24: wasn't this severe.
- 41:34Speaker 2: Yeah, that hail. This is crazy.
- 41:36Speaker 12: Colorado?
- 41:38Speaker 6: ZeroResColoradoSprings.com.
- 41:40Speaker 2: Oh, my God. You've never needed our sponsors more than
- 41:44Speaker 2: right now. That hail was giant. Your video, the hail
- 41:50Speaker 2: was giant. It looked like it was like golf ball size.
- 41:53Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 41:54Speaker 20: Golf ball, baseball.
- 41:56Speaker 24: There were some of them that were, like, as big
- 41:57Speaker 24: as baseballs in my yard. I managed to capture one
- 42:01Speaker 24: of them before it melted completely, and it was just
- 42:03Speaker 24: a straight, like, golf ball. It was so crazy. I
- 42:06Speaker 24: was like, this doesn't happen in Phoenix.
- 42:08Speaker 1: Like, what?
- 42:09Speaker 6: You should have saved it and put it in the
- 42:11Speaker 6: freezer and then sold it on eBay.
- 42:13Speaker 9: No.
- 42:14Speaker 2: Oh, I should have.
- 42:15Speaker 12: I should have.
- 42:16Speaker 24: I would have posted it everywhere, too, guys. Go get
- 42:18Speaker 24: the doll on eBay.
- 42:19Speaker 2: In Zaldana's neighborhood, the hail doesn't gently fall. It's like
- 42:23Speaker 2: it's been thrown to the ground as fast as it can.
- 42:25Speaker 2: Did you notice that, too?
- 42:26Speaker 24: They're playing baseball up there, I swear.
- 42:29Speaker 11: All right, Zaldana, your video's, like, blown up. We're going
- 42:31Speaker 11: to post it on our, put in our stories, a
- 42:33Speaker 11: link to your TikTok or wherever. So congratulations for all
- 42:35Speaker 11: the press.
- 42:36Speaker 7: Thank you.
- 42:38Speaker 6: Oh, my gosh.
- 42:38Speaker 29: All right.
- 42:39Speaker 6: Have a great day. Thanks for calling in. Thanks for
- 42:41Speaker 6: being on the show.
- 42:41Speaker 26: Thank you.
- 42:42Speaker 9: You, too, you guys.
- 42:42Speaker 20: Thank you.
- 42:43Speaker 6: Oops.
- 42:45Speaker 11: Again, real quick, for real. Orlando Auto Body. This is
- 42:48Speaker 11: what they do. So if your car got damaged, they'll
- 42:50Speaker 11: do a whole, like, they'll do it for free. They
- 42:52Speaker 11: will look at you and give you a quote.
- 42:53Speaker 2: Yeah, and they work with all the insurance companies and
- 42:55Speaker 2: all that stuff, too.
- 42:56Speaker 6: Okay, we got a minute to win it. Pat Hickey,
- 42:58Speaker 6: Peoria Ford.
- 42:59Speaker 2: PeoriaFord.com. You've never needed.
- 43:01Speaker 11: A sponsor more than right now.
- 43:04Speaker 6: Hey, Catherine, good morning.
- 43:06Speaker 15: Good morning.
- 43:08Speaker 6: Where are you right now? Did you get any hail yesterday?
- 43:11Speaker 15: No hail.
- 43:12Speaker 6: Ooh, what part of town do you live in? Oh,
- 43:17Speaker 6: I don't hear you, Catherine.
- 43:20Speaker 1: Yes.
- 43:22Speaker 11: Oh, you, you, you're cutting, you're cutting out on us.
- 43:24Speaker 11: This is going to be very difficult to do minute
- 43:25Speaker 11: to win it. If your phone connection is not working.
- 43:29Speaker 13: Okay.
- 43:29Speaker 15: I'm, I'm getting off of my exit on Hayden.
- 43:31Speaker 7: So hopefully it's good now.
- 43:34Speaker 2: Okay.
- 43:34Speaker 6: Then I'm just telling you if we're going to go,
- 43:36Speaker 6: are you on speakerphone?
- 43:37Speaker 2: You can.
- 43:37Speaker 13: No, not on speakerphone.
- 43:40Speaker 2: Okay.
- 43:40Speaker 6: So real quick, why don't you tell us a little
- 43:42Speaker 6: fun fact about yourself?
- 43:45Speaker 15: Um, fun fact is I'm from Nebraska originally.
- 43:48Speaker 18: So I'm Cornhusker.
- 43:50Speaker 2: Cornhusker.
- 43:52Speaker 6: That's what she said. I know on her phone cut out.
- 43:53Speaker 6: It's going to be a tough one.
- 43:54Speaker 5: All right.
- 43:54Speaker 6: All right, Catherine, good luck.
- 43:56Speaker 17: John Jay and Rich have $ 1, 000 cash for you from
- 43:59Speaker 17: Peoria Ford right now.
- 44:01Speaker 2: Minute to win it. All right, Catherine, let's you and
- 44:03Speaker 2: me lock it in. We got 60 seconds, 10 questions.
- 44:06Speaker 2: You rock them all. You will win a thousand dollars.
- 44:09Speaker 2: We are counting on you. Here we go. What actor
- 44:12Speaker 2: played Maverick and Top Gun in Ethan Hunt's in the
- 44:15Speaker 2: Mission Impossible movies?
- 44:18Speaker 10: Tom Cruise.
- 44:20Speaker 2: What cartoon features a group of friends and their dog
- 44:22Speaker 2: solving mysteries in a van called The Mystery Machine?
- 44:25Speaker 12: Scooby-Doo.
- 44:28Speaker 2: What type of liquor is the main alcohol ingredient in
- 44:31Speaker 2: a mojito?
- 44:32Speaker 7: Oh, gosh.
- 44:35Speaker 12: Gin.
- 44:36Speaker 5: Oh, that.
- 44:41Speaker 2: Was my guess.
- 44:42Speaker 1: Rum.
- 44:43Speaker 7: That's hard if you don't drink mojitos, you know, but.
- 44:46Speaker 18: I don't drink a mojito.
- 44:48Speaker 2: Well, I didn't know that when we were formulating the questions.
- 44:51Speaker 7: Well, you should read her mind.
- 44:52Speaker 2: She didn't drink mojitos.
- 44:53Speaker 14: Mojitos.
- 44:54Speaker 6: Well, Catherine, we're going to set you up with a
- 44:56Speaker 6: gift card to Del Taco.
- 44:59Speaker 3: That sounds good.
- 45:00Speaker 6: Thanks for listening.
- 45:01Speaker 24: Thank you.
- 45:02Speaker 6: Drive safe. Drive safe.
- 45:04Speaker 2: Is it raining and all that stuff today, too? Looks
- 45:06Speaker 2: like a little bit this morning.
- 45:07Speaker 14: There are severe thunderstorm watches in different areas.
- 45:10Speaker 11: Because I got all prepared yesterday, all prepared, because my
- 45:13Speaker 11: house gets destroyed and nothing happened.
- 45:15Speaker 2: There's a 50% chance.
- 45:18Speaker 11: Marcus needs some help.
- 45:20Speaker 2: What's up, Marcus? You're on the air.
- 45:22Speaker 5: Hi.
- 45:22Speaker 12: Yeah, so I'm going to be visiting Glendale area and
- 45:25Speaker 12: Phoenix area for, like, the next couple of days, like,
- 45:28Speaker 12: through Tuesday. And I was wondering, like, some places that
- 45:32Speaker 12: I eat and to kind of go out at night.
- 45:36Speaker 7: Ooh, like in, like, downtown Phoenix area?
- 45:39Speaker 2: Glendale.
- 45:40Speaker 7: Oh, I was going to say, downtown Phoenix, go to Samsara.
- 45:43Speaker 7: That's so fun. It's such a vibe if you're like
- 45:45Speaker 7: trying to go out at night. And especially because it's
- 45:47Speaker 7: starting to cool down. It's like the perfect time to
- 45:49Speaker 7: be there.
- 45:50Speaker 6: Well, I can tell you this, Marcus.
- 45:51Speaker 11: If you're going to be going to Glendale Peoria area
- 45:54Speaker 11: and you want to know where to go there, let
- 45:56Speaker 11: me bring you to our party expert in Glendale, which
- 45:59Speaker 11: is Noah Lashley.
- 46:00Speaker 6: Noah, where should he go?
- 46:01Speaker 16: I highly recommend Lazy Bird Kitchen and Cocktails in Park West.
- 46:06Speaker 2: Oh, wait. I went there with you.
- 46:07Speaker 16: Yeah, I took Ridge. We had a blast.
- 46:09Speaker 2: Kind of far from where we were. I said, let's
- 46:11Speaker 2: go somewhere down the street. Noah took me like 30
- 46:13Speaker 2: minutes out of the way. It took us many miles.
- 46:15Speaker 6: Okay, where else? Lazy Bird and where else?
- 46:17Speaker 16: And then in downtown Glendale, if you happen to be
- 46:20Speaker 16: in that area, there's a restaurant called the Cornish Pasty.
- 46:23Speaker 8: Okay.
- 46:24Speaker 16: They have a bunch of like hot pocket calzone type things.
- 46:27Speaker 16: There's like 50 or 60 to choose from. It's like
- 46:29Speaker 16: a really cool looking building. And then there's a place
- 46:31Speaker 16: across the street from that within walking distance called Coyote
- 46:34Speaker 16: Odie where you can get different types of cookies and
- 46:36Speaker 16: shakes and stuff.
- 46:38Speaker 11: That's how you party with some hot pockets and some cookies.
- 46:40Speaker 11: Do you want more of that, Marcus, or are you
- 46:41Speaker 11: looking for different things too? Because that's the Glendale Peoria area.
- 46:44Speaker 12: I mean, I'm... I'm going to be there for a while.
- 46:48Speaker 12: I mean, I'm looking to explore as much as I can.
- 46:51Speaker 12: So like if there's like Phoenix and like Old Town, Scottsdale.
- 46:54Speaker 2: Where are you?
- 46:55Speaker 6: What city are you in right now?
- 46:58Speaker 12: I'm currently in Seattle, but I'll be on a flight
- 47:01Speaker 12: at like noon.
- 47:02Speaker 6: Okay.
- 47:03Speaker 17: And are you looking, do you want like restaurants or
- 47:05Speaker 17: like going out and party or like you want to
- 47:07Speaker 17: experience Arizona?
- 47:10Speaker 1: No.
- 47:10Speaker 12: Kind of all of it. I want places to eat
- 47:12Speaker 12: during the day and places to go out at night.
- 47:14Speaker 2: I wouldn't start with Glendale. Yeah. That's the place you
- 47:19Speaker 2: went to.
- 47:19Speaker 12: Glendale's where I'm going to be staying, but I'm going
- 47:23Speaker 12: to be like, because I'm going to the Cardinals game
- 47:27Speaker 12: this weekend.
- 47:28Speaker 10: Oh, fun.
- 47:28Speaker 2: That's why I'm staying.
- 47:30Speaker 12: They play the Broncos.
- 47:32Speaker 6: Oh, they do?
- 47:32Speaker 14: I want to go to that game so bad.
- 47:33Speaker 7: That'll be fun. Well, if you're going to be there,
- 47:35Speaker 7: just go across the street to Westgate, get a couple drinks.
- 47:38Speaker 7: There's some restaurants over there.
- 47:39Speaker 14: Yeah, there's tons of stuff there.
- 47:39Speaker 7: It's usually pretty good during the day.
- 47:41Speaker 2: Yeah, we'll follow the crowd.
- 47:42Speaker 7: It'll be fine.
- 47:43Speaker 2: You're a great Chick-fil-A.
- 47:44Speaker 6: You like chicken?
- 47:45Speaker 2: At night, I would probably get up out of there.
- 47:47Speaker 2: You like chicken?
- 47:48Speaker 6: Yeah. Hey, so do you live in Seattle?
- 47:51Speaker 2: What's your deal? Yeah, I do.
- 47:52Speaker 11: And so are you just going to hit all the stadiums?
- 47:56Speaker 6: And you said you're here for a long time. How
- 47:57Speaker 6: long are you here for?
- 48:00Speaker 12: I'll be there today around, like, 3 p.m., and then
- 48:03Speaker 12: I'll be there until Tuesday.
- 48:04Speaker 17: Okay, like, at some point, I think you should hike Camelback.
- 48:07Speaker 17: You should go to Desert Botanical Garden. Then you really get, like,
- 48:09Speaker 17: Arizona feel, you know?
- 48:12Speaker 6: You should go to Orlando Auto Body.
- 48:15Speaker 2: And see how they're doing with hail-damaged cars. Well, I'd
- 48:19Speaker 2: say you've got to hit up Old Town Scottsdale on
- 48:21Speaker 2: a Friday night or a Saturday night.
- 48:22Speaker 7: Yeah, it just kind of depends what your vibe is, Marcus. Like,
- 48:25Speaker 7: if you're in your early 20s and you like the
- 48:27Speaker 7: club scene, definitely go hit all the clubs in Old Town.
- 48:32Speaker 7: But also, like, if you don't like that scene, there's
- 48:34Speaker 7: that whole strip of, like, boondocks and the hot chick
- 48:36Speaker 7: where it's still Scottsdale nightlife, but it's not, like, funny.
- 48:40Speaker 2: It's a little more laid back.
- 48:41Speaker 11: There's a text that just came in. A good restaurant
- 48:44Speaker 11: to eat. and you get great value and great food
- 48:47Speaker 11: in the Glendale area is cheddar.
- 48:50Speaker 1: Cheddar.
- 48:51Speaker 11: Oh, cheddar.
- 48:52Speaker 15: Cheddar.
- 48:53Speaker 2: Scratch Kitchen.
- 48:54Speaker 6: This is one of my go-tos. Cheddar.
- 48:56Speaker 2: Cheddar. Yeah. You want to party?
- 48:58Speaker 7: Have you been to Cheddar's?
- 49:00Speaker 11: Well, anyway, good luck. When you come here to town,
- 49:03Speaker 11: are you rooting for the Cardinals or are you rooting
- 49:05Speaker 11: for the Broncos?
- 49:07Speaker 12: I am actually a Broncos fan.
- 49:09Speaker 2: In Seattle?
- 49:11Speaker 17: You know, for me, that's a tough game, but it's
- 49:13Speaker 17: also a great game because whoever wins, I'm happy.
- 49:15Speaker 14: Because I'm a Cardinals and Broncos fan.
- 49:16Speaker 11: That's funny because that's kind of how I felt last
- 49:18Speaker 11: night watching the Suns play the Trailblazers because, you know,
- 49:21Speaker 11: we've been on in Portland for 20 years.
- 49:22Speaker 2: And we got crushed.
- 49:23Speaker 11: My son Kemp left the room, slammed the door because
- 49:26Speaker 11: it was 28 to 1.
- 49:26Speaker 6: Yeah. And he was like, this is terrible.
- 49:29Speaker 2: It didn't get much better.
- 49:30Speaker 1: No.
- 49:30Speaker 6: Anyway, Marcus, have fun when you're here, man. Thanks for coming.
- 49:37Speaker 6: You know what else? Wait, hold on. Hold on, listen.
- 49:39Speaker 11: Next to the stadium, when you get there. There is
- 49:42Speaker 11: this resort that's been built for 10 years that is
- 49:45Speaker 11: nowhere near being finished yet.
- 49:47Speaker 6: You should drive by.
- 49:47Speaker 2: And look at it.
- 49:48Speaker 14: I literally just drove by yesterday.
- 49:50Speaker 6: It's sad.
- 49:50Speaker 2: Bye.
- 49:51Speaker 6: Just look at it and go, what the hell?
- 49:53Speaker 2: Yeah, Kyle and I went on a tour of that
- 49:54Speaker 2: when it was under construction about a year and a
- 49:56Speaker 2: half ago, and it looks exactly the same right now.
- 49:58Speaker 6: That'll be fun.
- 49:59Speaker 2: That'll be fun to do. There's a really giant furniture store.
- 50:01Speaker 6: What's it called?
- 50:02Speaker 2: Great American Furniture? You see that?
- 50:03Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 50:04Speaker 2: There's this huge building.
- 50:06Speaker 6: You drive by almost as long as a football field.
- 50:07Speaker 6: That'll be fun to do. You know?
- 50:09Speaker 12: All right.
- 50:10Speaker 14: He's like regretting it.
- 50:11Speaker 12: I look forward to seeing all these places.
- 50:14Speaker 14: Please let us know what you did experience and what
- 50:16Speaker 14: you liked.
- 50:16Speaker 2: I got a super target over there. Hold on, Marcus.
- 50:18Speaker 6: Hold on. What do I do to pick up another person?
- 50:20Speaker 6: I'll hear each other. Sonia, you got a recommendation for Marcus? Oh,
- 50:23Speaker 6: I hung up on Marcus.
- 50:24Speaker 14: My bad.
- 50:25Speaker 18: I do.
- 50:26Speaker 6: What do you got?
- 50:26Speaker 13: Hi, good morning.
- 50:27Speaker 6: Good morning.
- 50:29Speaker 2: What do you got?
- 50:30Speaker 13: He needs to go to the Roadrunner Lounge in Scottsdale.
- 50:33Speaker 3: It's the best dive bar in Scottsdale.
- 50:35Speaker 5: I work there.
- 50:36Speaker 6: Oh, the Roadrunner. Where is it in Scottsdale?
- 50:40Speaker 15: It's off of Thomas and Hayden.
- 50:43Speaker 6: Oh, okay.
- 50:44Speaker 2: Off Thomas Hayden Church Road. Very nice, Sonya. Thanks. You
- 50:47Speaker 2: know what?
- 50:47Speaker 11: A lot of times the references we make on this show,
- 50:50Speaker 11: and there's lots of them, like a lot of Glendale stuff,
- 50:52Speaker 11: you know, Scottsdale stuff, Chandler stuff. And it's funny because
- 50:55Speaker 11: if you don't know the show and you're listening to
- 50:57Speaker 11: the show, you would think that I don't live here.
- 51:00Speaker 2: Because the bubble for you is small. I don't know
- 51:02Speaker 2: anything else. You don't like to go outside of the bubble.
- 51:05Speaker 6: Oh, like here. Oh, if he's going to the Cardinals game,
- 51:08Speaker 6: try Andretti's.
- 51:09Speaker 18: Oh, yeah.
- 51:10Speaker 6: It's so fun. And Topgolf. Topgolf is always fun. It's
- 51:20Speaker 6: John Jay and Rich.
- 51:21Speaker 11: This year's Love Pup Family Fest is set. It's November 7th.
- 51:24Speaker 11: Retruchio Farms in Mesa. 4 p.m.
- 51:26Speaker 13: To 8 p.m.
- 51:26Speaker 6: Free show. Gavin DeGraw performing live in concert.
- 51:29Speaker 11: Also, Gino Plager from America's Got Talent.
- 51:31Speaker 6: The magician.
- 51:31Speaker 11: He's going to be doing magic on stage. It's going
- 51:33Speaker 11: to be great. Rich's band's playing. It's the biggest dog
- 51:35Speaker 11: rescue adoption event in the Valley. Over 20 dog rescues
- 51:38Speaker 11: will be there.
- 51:38Speaker 6: Bring a dog. Bring your friends. Bring family. It's free.
- 51:41Speaker 11: Admission is free. Especially if you bring a dog rescue donation. Leashes,
- 51:44Speaker 11: puppy pads, dog food. There'll be food trucks, vendors, kids zone.
- 51:47Speaker 6: A bunch of cool stuff. It's November 7th. Okay, real quick.
- 51:51Speaker 11: The other day I woke up in the morning and
- 51:52Speaker 11: I had this vision for a costume. I call it
- 51:57Speaker 11: Ella Fang Lee.
- 51:57Speaker 14: Oh my gosh, you guys.
- 52:02Speaker 23: I was listening to the radio this morning. I always
- 52:06Speaker 23: listen to John Jay and Rich on Kiss FM because
- 52:09Speaker 23: they're hilarious. And the DJ John Jay Van Us was like,
- 52:15Speaker 23: I got a good idea for a Halloween costume. ella
- 52:18Speaker 23: fangley and i was like oh my god i just
- 52:22Speaker 23: got my haircut last week that and i've gotten several
- 52:25Speaker 23: people who have been like oh my gosh ella lingley
- 52:27Speaker 23: haircut i'm like i could totally get some bangs and
- 52:30Speaker 23: be fella lingley.
- 52:36Speaker 2: Cost you nothing but bangs.
- 52:39Speaker 6: All it does is cost you bags, little fangs, and
- 52:42Speaker 6: you got Ella Fangley.
- 52:43Speaker 11: So I thought it'd be fun that we could help
- 52:44Speaker 11: you as a public service if you know of a
- 52:46Speaker 11: good way to do a cheap costume.
- 52:48Speaker 2: Serena, good morning.
- 52:50Speaker 15: Good morning.
- 52:51Speaker 6: What's a good, easy costume?
- 52:53Speaker 15: My costume I did a few years ago. I just
- 52:55Speaker 15: got a cardboard box and painted it brown, and I
- 52:59Speaker 15: was a one-night stand.
- 53:02Speaker 2: One-night stand. That's cute.
- 53:06Speaker 15: And I just put little things on it that, like,
- 53:08Speaker 15: would be on your nightstand. You know, a box of Kleenex,
- 53:11Speaker 15: a little cheapie alarm clock.
- 53:13Speaker 6: CPAP.
- 53:15Speaker 15: A thong underwear, a condom that looks huge.
- 53:19Speaker 6: Oh, hey, who puts that on their nightstand?
- 53:23Speaker 15: Hey, I put it on one nightstand, you do.
- 53:25Speaker 2: Well, to make garbage or toilet.
- 53:26Speaker 14: I love the pun words.
- 53:30Speaker 15: Lampshade on my head.
- 53:31Speaker 6: That's great. That's a good one.
- 53:33Speaker 15: And going with your L.A. League, I was this year,
- 53:37Speaker 15: I was thinking about being choosing Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
- 53:41Speaker 2: Oh, that's good.
- 53:42Speaker 14: That's good.
- 53:43Speaker 2: That's good.
- 53:44Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 53:45Speaker 6: Well, thank you, Serena. That's a great one. John, what's
- 53:48Speaker 6: a real cheap, easy costume you got, Jan?
- 53:49Speaker 10: Jan.
- 53:52Speaker 8: Jan.
- 53:52Speaker 1: Jan.
- 53:53Speaker 18: Jan.
- 53:56Speaker 1: John?
- 53:57Speaker 6: Yes, John. Yes, John.
- 53:58Speaker 1: Hello.
- 53:59Speaker 6: I heard Ken.
- 54:00Speaker 10: Sorry.
- 54:00Speaker 6: Ken?
- 54:01Speaker 1: Okay.
- 54:01Speaker 6: Go ahead, but what's your cheap costume?
- 54:03Speaker 2: Easy costume.
- 54:04Speaker 12: Oh, so, yeah, maybe like 2010.
- 54:05Speaker 3: You take two quarters, tape them in your.
- 54:09Speaker 6: Nipples, and you're 50 Cent.
- 54:10Speaker 2: Perfect.
- 54:12Speaker 6: How come you couldn't do that now? Why just 2010? Oh,
- 54:14Speaker 6: that's when I did it.
- 54:15Speaker 1: I'm sorry.
- 54:16Speaker 2: That's when you did it.
- 54:16Speaker 1: Okay.
- 54:16Speaker 6: Yeah, no, I did it in 2010.
- 54:17Speaker 2: You're 50 Cent. Okay.
- 54:18Speaker 5: Thanks, John.
- 54:24Speaker 6: Kathy, you got a really good costume. Hi, what do
- 54:27Speaker 6: you got? Yes.
- 54:28Speaker 18: So Halloween stresses me out. I'm not creative. I can't
- 54:31Speaker 18: think of great ideas. So my husband's work shirt is
- 54:36Speaker 18: plain black.
- 54:37Speaker 12: It was.
- 54:37Speaker 18: And they have their name on it and they have
- 54:39Speaker 18: their store name on it. And they just wear blue
- 54:41Speaker 18: jeans as the bottom part of their uniform. So I
- 54:44Speaker 18: took one of his shirts, put on my blue jeans,
- 54:46Speaker 18: pulled my hair back into a ponytail, and I was
- 54:48Speaker 18: him for Halloween.
- 54:50Speaker 2: And comfy.
- 54:51Speaker 7: You can go right in their closet. You already have
- 54:53Speaker 7: all of the materials.
- 54:55Speaker 27: Exactly.
- 54:55Speaker 6: That's good, Kathy. Thank you for sharing.
- 54:57Speaker 18: Thank you.
- 54:59Speaker 6: We got cheap, easy Halloween costume. We're looking for your ideas. 877-937-1047.
- 55:03Speaker 6: We can get you Wicked Ball tickets, too, if you win. Christina.
- 55:08Speaker 9: Hello.
- 55:10Speaker 11: How are you?
- 55:10Speaker 1: Hi.
- 55:11Speaker 6: You have a good, easy, cheap costume?
- 55:13Speaker 7: I do.
- 55:14Speaker 26: I'm actually just going as myself, which is a sad,
- 55:16Speaker 26: sad Los Angeles Chargers fan.
- 55:19Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. You've got it rough right now.
- 55:23Speaker 3: Yeah, but what's that?
- 55:25Speaker 2: I was going to say, they made a big deal.
- 55:27Speaker 2: Every time they'd come back from commercial when I was
- 55:30Speaker 2: watching the Chargers game, they'd say, no 0-5 team has
- 55:33Speaker 2: ever made the playoffs. And now they're 0-6. I guess
- 55:36Speaker 2: they're really in trouble. I was going to say, I
- 55:37Speaker 2: don't know anything about them. They're just not doing well.
- 55:38Speaker 9: 0-6.
- 55:39Speaker 10: Winless.
- 55:39Speaker 18: Not at all.
- 55:43Speaker 3: So I'm going to just wear my Chargers fan gear
- 55:45Speaker 3: and have mascara running down my face. But at least
- 55:48Speaker 3: at the party, I can say, Lacey didn't lose last
- 55:50Speaker 3: weekend because they're on a bye week this weekend.
- 55:53Speaker 2: You can't beat us if we don't play.
- 55:55Speaker 3: Correct.
- 55:57Speaker 6: Thanks, Christina. Thanks for calling in.
- 55:59Speaker 17: Thanks.
- 55:59Speaker 13: Bye-bye.
- 56:00Speaker 6: That's funny when you do.
- 56:03Speaker 17: That.
- 56:04Speaker 6: Maggie, what's your costume idea?
- 56:07Speaker 16: Hi.
- 56:07Speaker 4: My costume idea is to do like a tinfoil hat
- 56:11Speaker 4: from the movie Signs.
- 56:13Speaker 2: That's so random. That's so random. I mean, have you
- 56:17Speaker 2: done it? Did anybody get it without you having to
- 56:19Speaker 2: explain it?
- 56:21Speaker 18: You know what?
- 56:21Speaker 4: I haven't done it. I did think about it because
- 56:24Speaker 4: at my work, we're going to dress up every single day.
- 56:26Speaker 4: And for one of mine, I'm wearing like a pet
- 56:28Speaker 4: cemetery thing.
- 56:30Speaker 24: And I'm like, you know what?
- 56:31Speaker 13: I could do signs instead.
- 56:32Speaker 4: But I'm like, you know what?
- 56:33Speaker 15: We're just going to do.
- 56:35Speaker 8: Pet Sematary.
- 56:35Speaker 17: I kind of feel like if you did that, you
- 56:37Speaker 17: could either be the character from Signs or you could
- 56:41Speaker 17: be a conspiracy theorist.
- 56:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 56:43Speaker 14: That's what they say, the tinfoil hat.
- 56:44Speaker 2: So that would work for both of us.
- 56:46Speaker 4: And bonus points, too, would be like if you had
- 56:48Speaker 4: a baby monitor with you because you know how they
- 56:50Speaker 4: pick up the clicking in the movie?
- 56:51Speaker 14: Oh, yeah.
- 56:54Speaker 2: Why are we talking about that movie like it just
- 56:55Speaker 2: came out?
- 56:56Speaker 14: Costumes are all about the accessories.
- 56:58Speaker 4: It's one of my comfort movies.
- 56:59Speaker 2: I love it so much.
- 57:00Speaker 10: Oh, okay.
- 57:01Speaker 2: All right. Then I'll give you a break on that. Thanks, Maggie.
- 57:04Speaker 6: Easy costumes. You're in a bind. Halloween's like 10 days away.
- 57:08Speaker 6: Something like that, right? Nine days away. Anyway, I don't
- 57:10Speaker 6: know when is Halloween. This year it's on the 31st,
- 57:13Speaker 6: I think.
- 57:13Speaker 14: I think it's eight days away because it's Saturday.
- 57:16Speaker 6: Megan, good morning.
- 57:19Speaker 25: Morning.
- 57:19Speaker 6: What's an easy costume to do?
- 57:23Speaker 13: So I got like the old company shirt from where
- 57:27Speaker 13: I worked at.
- 57:27Speaker 12: And I like put holes in it and I kind
- 57:29Speaker 12: of burnt it up with like a lighter so that
- 57:31Speaker 12: I like lighter like smoke stains.
- 57:34Speaker 7: On it and i put sit on my face kind
- 57:36Speaker 7: of fries on my hair a.
- 57:36Speaker 10: Little bit and i was burnt.
- 57:38Speaker 2: Out that's fun so it's like a good one it's
- 57:43Speaker 2: like a political message as long as well as.
- 57:46Speaker 11: A yes thanks man exactly social statement sarah what do
- 57:51Speaker 11: you have as far as an easy costume.
- 57:53Speaker 21: Goes good morning And you crack me up, this year
- 57:57Speaker 21: it's on the 31st.
- 57:58Speaker 3: It's always on the 31st, Johnny. Ah, you got that one, Sarah.
- 58:01Speaker 6: You got that one.
- 58:02Speaker 2: I slid that in. I slid that in, Sarah. I
- 58:04Speaker 2: slid it in.
- 58:06Speaker 18: You did.
- 58:06Speaker 17: You did.
- 58:07Speaker 21: You slid it in real slick.
- 58:08Speaker 19: And I was like, wait a minute.
- 58:11Speaker 21: No, my easy costume I did one year for my
- 58:14Speaker 21: son was a Rubik's Cube.
- 58:15Speaker 14: I just took a box and some black tape and
- 58:17Speaker 14: construction paper and bam.
- 58:19Speaker 28: He was a Rubik's Cube.
- 58:20Speaker 14: That's easy.
- 58:22Speaker 2: Sounds easy.
- 58:23Speaker 3: It was so simple.
- 58:24Speaker 2: I mean, it sounds crafty.
- 58:25Speaker 14: But definitely probably took a lot of time.
- 58:27Speaker 7: Yeah, you got to do all the cuts. No, we didn't.
- 58:29Speaker 28: No, you just used the construction, the tape between the
- 58:33Speaker 28: pieces of the construction paper.
- 58:35Speaker 16: And I mean, you cut two holes.
- 58:37Speaker 1: You know, the hole in the head and the one for.
- 58:39Speaker 3: The arms and you're good to go.
- 58:41Speaker 6: Well, that's good. That's good, Sarah. Thank you.
- 58:45Speaker 18: You're welcome.
- 58:45Speaker 13: Have a great day.
- 58:47Speaker 6: Tiffany, hello.
- 58:49Speaker 24: Good morning, guys.
- 58:50Speaker 2: Good morning.
- 58:51Speaker 24: Okay, so I have a super easy costume, khaki pants,
- 58:56Speaker 24: plaid button-up shirt, and a box of chocolates to be
- 58:59Speaker 24: Forrest Gump.
- 59:00Speaker 1: Perfect.
- 59:02Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 59:03Speaker 13: And then, better yet, I mean, if you have access
- 59:05Speaker 13: to a men's closet, of course, tie a um, a
- 59:09Speaker 13: tie around a woman's head and she can be Jenna.
- 59:14Speaker 2: I totally read your discreet wrong here. I thought you
- 59:18Speaker 2: were going to say your same uniform and then like
- 59:20Speaker 2: a orange skin and a wig and you could be
- 59:22Speaker 2: Forrest Trump. Oh, mix it up a little bit. That's
- 59:27Speaker 2: where I thought you were going.
- 59:29Speaker 15: Thank you, Tiffany.
- 59:30Speaker 14: No, but just get a box of chocolates.
- 59:32Speaker 2: That's good.
- 59:33Speaker 6: You're right. That's good. Carly, what do you got? What's
- 59:35Speaker 6: your Halloween idea that's easy to do?
- 59:40Speaker 13: It's white trash. So you just get a trash bag
- 59:42Speaker 13: and cut arm and leg holes in it and step
- 59:45Speaker 13: inside of it and voila, you're white trash.
- 59:52Speaker 6: Thank you, Carly. Brad, what do you got?
- 59:54Speaker 29: Good morning.
- 59:56Speaker 10: I don't know if you remember Joanna from the High
- 59:58Speaker 10: Rocks CrossFit recently. You could just wear your workout outfit
- 1:00:03Speaker 10: and put some chocolate pudding on your pants, legs.
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: Oh, the lady that did that.
- 1:00:08Speaker 7: Yeah, the one that had the accident.
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: The lady that pooped herself?
- 1:00:11Speaker 6: Yeah, and then she kept going.
- 1:00:13Speaker 7: Yeah, that was brutal.
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: That was so sad.
- 1:00:15Speaker 6: I didn't know her name, Joanna.
- 1:00:17Speaker 14: I don't either.
- 1:00:18Speaker 6: Way to go, man.
- 1:00:19Speaker 13: We know now.
- 1:00:20Speaker 25: Yeah.
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: What a great uniform. Very clever.
- 1:00:22Speaker 6: But you have to explain that to everybody. You know,
- 1:00:24Speaker 6: you pooped your pants. No, no, no, I'm Joanna.
- 1:00:26Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:00:31Speaker 6: Thanks, Brad.
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: That's so random. Shantice, good morning.
- 1:00:37Speaker 15: Good morning.
- 1:00:38Speaker 6: What's your cheap, easy Halloween costume?
- 1:00:42Speaker 15: I was a serial killer last year.
- 1:00:44Speaker 3: I took a white shirt and put cereal boxes on it.
- 1:00:47Speaker 15: And cut them up with knives and then put fake
- 1:00:49Speaker 15: blood all over it.
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: Serial killer. That's good.
- 1:00:52Speaker 7: That's a good one.
- 1:00:53Speaker 6: That's good. Thanks, Shantice.
- 1:00:55Speaker 11: That's a good one. My favorite so far, no one's beaten,
- 1:00:57Speaker 11: is my dad's. My dad, every year, my dad would
- 1:00:59Speaker 11: go as the Invisible Man. And he would just say
- 1:01:02Speaker 11: he was there.
- 1:01:04Speaker 14: That's totally something.
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: You would do. The apple doesn't fall far from that tree.
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: I had a great time.
- 1:01:10Speaker 6: That was great.
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: What do you mean?
- 1:01:11Speaker 6: I was visiting. You didn't see me?
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: I will find the pictures. I don't know if you, Kyle,
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: and John, do you remember my favorite made-up costume? I
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: don't know what we did that year as far as
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: the theme, but I just got a jacket and glued
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: some Barbie dolls to it, and I was a chick magnet.
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: Do you remember that one? I don't remember that one.
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: I have to find the picture. It comes up on
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: my time hop.
- 1:01:29Speaker 11: I found an old Halloween picture of my sister and
- 1:01:32Speaker 11: I in Tucson. And, you know, we were pretty low income.
- 1:01:36Speaker 11: And all it is is like an apron. You know,
- 1:01:39Speaker 11: when you're a kid, the stuff that you put on.
- 1:01:40Speaker 11: Is that an apron? You don't spill something on it?
- 1:01:43Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:01:43Speaker 10: Sure.
- 1:01:43Speaker 7: Or a bib.
- 1:01:45Speaker 6: It's a bib with a clown face on it.
- 1:01:48Speaker 14: That's scary.
- 1:01:49Speaker 6: Yeah, but that's like.
- 1:01:50Speaker 14: That was the costume?
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: That was our costume.
- 1:01:52Speaker 8: Okay.
- 1:01:53Speaker 6: We're a clown.
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: Yeah. With a bib. I mean, as long as you're
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: dressed a little something normal. I think it's a costume.
- 1:02:00Speaker 14: Sometimes I think the homemade costumes are better than the
- 1:02:02Speaker 14: ones you buy.
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: Oh, all the time.
- 1:02:04Speaker 11: I went to a Halloween costume party one time and
- 1:02:06Speaker 11: I didn't want to go. And I was able to
- 1:02:08Speaker 11: work in advance. And I got a t-shirt, a white t-shirt.
- 1:02:11Speaker 11: And it said superhero on it. And then my wife
- 1:02:15Speaker 11: said superhero's wife. I have pictures of that somewhere. What's
- 1:02:21Speaker 11: coming up in Entertainment News, Kyle?
- 1:02:22Speaker 17: Kim Kardashian has opened up about her many run-ins with
- 1:02:25Speaker 17: the law. You'll hear what they are next with John.
- 1:02:27Speaker 14: Jay and Rich.
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: Check in with John Jay and Rich.
- 1:02:35Speaker 7: Hit the top back mic.
- 1:02:37Speaker 6: Justin, I hear you got a real scary ghost story.
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: What happened?
- 1:02:40Speaker 18: I do.
- 1:02:40Speaker 28: I just heard Wendy the Witch tell Kyle to tell
- 1:02:43Speaker 28: that spirit to get the.
- 1:02:44Speaker 10: F out of her house.
- 1:02:45Speaker 6: That's right.
- 1:02:46Speaker 28: I do not recommend that.
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: Why?
- 1:02:48Speaker 28: Because about 15 years ago, my oldest daughter brought home
- 1:02:52Speaker 28: her friend from high school, and they decided to do
- 1:02:54Speaker 28: a Ouija board in their bedroom, in her bedroom. So
- 1:02:58Speaker 28: she was complaining about knocks on her walls at 3
- 1:03:00Speaker 28: in the morning, about a month after that. So I
- 1:03:04Speaker 28: went in there one day. It was about 12 o'clock
- 1:03:05Speaker 28: in the afternoon, and I says, This is my house.
- 1:03:08Speaker 5: You get the F out.
- 1:03:10Speaker 28: You are not welcome here. And I just dropped to
- 1:03:13Speaker 28: the floor. Like, it drained me of all my energy.
- 1:03:17Speaker 28: And I had to crawl back to my bedroom and
- 1:03:18Speaker 28: lay in bed. I was down the rest of the day.
- 1:03:21Speaker 7: Did it get out of the house, though?
- 1:03:24Speaker 29: No.
- 1:03:24Speaker 28: My house is still haunted.
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: Oh, like even now?
- 1:03:27Speaker 28: We still have things going on in my house.
- 1:03:29Speaker 6: Do it right now. See if you fall down.
- 1:03:31Speaker 14: Do it right now.
- 1:03:32Speaker 6: Don't say the full F word.
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: Do it now. Do it. Get that out of my house.
- 1:03:37Speaker 12: It's crazy.
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: Do it.
- 1:03:39Speaker 28: It's crazy because my wife is also kind of like
- 1:03:44Speaker 28: she's more than a witch.
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: What do you mean?
- 1:03:46Speaker 28: They say she's a starseed.
- 1:03:48Speaker 5: What is that?
- 1:03:50Speaker 28: She is one of God's favorite people. Oh.
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: I didn't know he had favorites.
- 1:03:54Speaker 14: How do you become one of those?
- 1:03:56Speaker 28: Well, apparently he does.
- 1:03:58Speaker 6: Well, that's interesting, Justin.
- 1:03:59Speaker 28: They say my wife has gone to tarot readers. And
- 1:04:03Speaker 28: they tell her they cannot read her. She is blocked
- 1:04:06Speaker 28: from them.
- 1:04:07Speaker 6: We'll let you have her get rid of the demon
- 1:04:09Speaker 6: in your house.
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: If she's that powerful, have her do it. She likes it.
- 1:04:13Speaker 28: She doesn't mind it at all. It doesn't harm us.
- 1:04:16Speaker 28: It only harmed me that one day because of my energy.
- 1:04:18Speaker 28: I was yelling at it. But, I mean, we get
- 1:04:21Speaker 28: TV turns on and off, drawers open and closed. I mean,
- 1:04:25Speaker 28: one day my wife and I were playing video games
- 1:04:26Speaker 28: in our bedroom. We were sitting on the bed. And
- 1:04:29Speaker 28: all of a sudden, there was an indentation between us,
- 1:04:31Speaker 28: and we both leaned in towards each other like someone
- 1:04:33Speaker 28: sat on the bed between us.
- 1:04:34Speaker 11: Starseed is a soul believed to originate from other planets,
- 1:04:38Speaker 11: star systems, or dimensions incarnated on Earth to assist in
- 1:04:41Speaker 11: humanity's spiritual evolution and raise the planet's vibration.
- 1:04:45Speaker 6: Wow, Justin, way to go.
- 1:04:46Speaker 28: She does. In her dreams, she helps other people, and
- 1:04:52Speaker 28: they say it's from different dimensions.
- 1:04:54Speaker 6: That's wild. Okay, hold on, Justin. We need to get
- 1:04:57Speaker 6: her in here.
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: Can you book Starseed in the studio?
- 1:04:59Speaker 11: Can you get Starseed in there?
- 1:05:01Speaker 6: Pay to call what you guys got for entertainment news.
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:05:03Speaker 17: Apparently there is one person who does not appreciate Jason
- 1:05:06Speaker 17: Kelsey's early morning workout routine. So he shared on the
- 1:05:10Speaker 17: New Heights podcast yesterday that he's doing squat-tober. And that's
- 1:05:13Speaker 17: where you got to do squats every day. And he
- 1:05:16Speaker 17: went out to visit his brother, Travis, in Cleveland. And,
- 1:05:20Speaker 17: of course, Travis is now married to Taylor Swift.
- 1:05:23Speaker 14: And so... Something that Jason did while he was a
- 1:05:26Speaker 14: house guest kind of ticked her off.
- 1:05:29Speaker 30: I get a call at 7.30 in the morning. In
- 1:05:32Speaker 30: my mind, I'm thinking worst case scenario. I'm like, oh,
- 1:05:34Speaker 30: is everything okay? Maybe I have to run Jason to
- 1:05:37Speaker 30: a hospital. He just blew his knee out or something.
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:05:41Speaker 30: And Jason's like, yeah, can you come spot me?
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: I'm like walking out of the room and Taylor's like, this.
- 1:05:49Speaker 8: Is * * * *.
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: I'm just like, nah, it'll be good. It'll be good.
- 1:05:53Speaker 14: She's like, it's 7 in the morning. This is effed up.
- 1:05:56Speaker 14: Why is he calling you?
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: That's awesome. I love that the brothers can visit each other.
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: That's like my one thing in life with my sons.
- 1:06:02Speaker 11: I just hope they're all friends and they visit each
- 1:06:03Speaker 11: other and they're married Taylor Swift.
- 1:06:05Speaker 14: That's a cool relationship for sure.
- 1:06:08Speaker 17: Apparently Kim Kardashian has a little bit of a lead foot.
- 1:06:11Speaker 17: She admitted that she's had more than a few run-ins
- 1:06:14Speaker 17: with the law.
- 1:06:15Speaker 7: California stop.
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: She's in California.
- 1:06:16Speaker 9: Makes sense.
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: She got a ticket for like her.
- 1:06:19Speaker 14: Windows being tinted too dark and stuff like that. I mean,
- 1:06:21Speaker 14: either way, she's doing just fine. You know, she's dating Louis,
- 1:06:23Speaker 14: Louis Hamilton, the F1 driver.
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: And she says she has a list of like 55
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: things that a mate has to.
- 1:06:28Speaker 14: Like, check off, and he checks all 55 boxes.
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: Oh, here we go. Here we go. His name must
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: be Louis.
- 1:06:51Speaker 6: He has to know how to drive.
- 1:06:55Speaker 14: I love them as a couple, though. I feel like
- 1:06:56Speaker 14: they're really cute.
- 1:06:57Speaker 7: They're adorable. And so is Kylie Jenner, Kim's sister, and
- 1:07:00Speaker 7: Timothee Chalamet. And apparently people that are close to Kylie
- 1:07:03Speaker 7: right now, they are letting us know that she is
- 1:07:06Speaker 7: applying the pressure for Timothee to propose. And he is like,
- 1:07:10Speaker 7: as much as I am head over heels for you,
- 1:07:12Speaker 7: I am just not ready for that step yet. So
- 1:07:14Speaker 7: lots of eyes on them.
- 1:07:16Speaker 14: Get ready, dude. Get ready.
- 1:07:17Speaker 7: And I mean, I love them together.
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: You know what happened to a friend of mine?
- 1:07:21Speaker 11: He uh the girl broke up with him because he
- 1:07:23Speaker 11: was like and they've been together for a while he's
- 1:07:24Speaker 11: like hey what's what's next for us like uh do
- 1:07:27Speaker 11: we move in together i want to get married what's
- 1:07:28Speaker 11: next and she was like well i like where we
- 1:07:31Speaker 11: are i don't want to go any further and then
- 1:07:33Speaker 11: they broke up he's like devastated he's such a great
- 1:07:36Speaker 11: he's 35 years old makes a nice living he's a
- 1:07:38Speaker 11: great guy that's sad i know i'm thinking about somehow
- 1:07:40Speaker 11: bringing him in here.
- 1:07:41Speaker 17: Oh yeah let's auction him off yeah a new bachelor
- 1:07:46Speaker 17: Maybe John J.
- 1:07:46Speaker 14: Rich bachelor.
- 1:07:47Speaker 13: I love it.
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: It's a guy who wants to, wants to settle down.
- 1:07:50Speaker 27: Okay.
- 1:07:50Speaker 7: So Charlie D'Amelio, you may have seen that she has
- 1:07:53Speaker 7: kind of broken her silence. So it's been an ongoing
- 1:07:56Speaker 7: thing for the last few months. Like she has been
- 1:07:59Speaker 7: unfollowing her family on Instagram. She has completely cut ties
- 1:08:02Speaker 7: with all of them. She's not talking to them because
- 1:08:04Speaker 7: apparently she has no money left. So she broke her silence.
- 1:08:07Speaker 7: She says, I don't think that my parents really stole
- 1:08:10Speaker 7: from me. We did a lot of like family vacations and,
- 1:08:13Speaker 7: Things like that. She was just saying, it's just really
- 1:08:15Speaker 7: upset that now that I'm 21, I have no money
- 1:08:17Speaker 7: to show for the fact that I've been working since
- 1:08:19Speaker 7: I was 15. And in my mind, I'm like, baby girl,
- 1:08:22Speaker 7: they robbed you. They stole from you. Your mom, like,
- 1:08:25Speaker 7: I feel like that's your money.
- 1:08:26Speaker 14: I think absolutely.
- 1:08:27Speaker 17: But in it, she said we made financial decisions together.
- 1:08:30Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:08:30Speaker 6: Should daddy get a Ferrari?
- 1:08:32Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:08:33Speaker 14: Exactly.
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: She's 16.
- 1:08:34Speaker 7: And it's like, hey, should we go and do it?
- 1:08:37Speaker 7: It's like at some point, like she should have some
- 1:08:39Speaker 7: money to show for everything.
- 1:08:40Speaker 14: That she's done. Well, especially because she was getting paid
- 1:08:42Speaker 14: like millions of dollars per post. Exactly.
- 1:08:45Speaker 7: And you have no money? Like that is.
- 1:08:47Speaker 17: I feel like it's more of like, I think your
- 1:08:49Speaker 17: parents maybe mismanaged the money.
- 1:08:51Speaker 14: Or they put.
- 1:08:51Speaker 11: It in some sort of trust that she can't touch
- 1:08:54Speaker 11: it until she's 25.
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: Well, that would be great.
- 1:08:56Speaker 14: She said that that's not even a.
- 1:08:57Speaker 12: Thing, though.
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: You know what?
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: I saw her in the news today. You know what
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: else she's in the news for today?
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: What?
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: She's like a second away.
- 1:09:02Speaker 11: Maybe she already asked for passing the kababy guy for
- 1:09:05Speaker 11: the most copy guy for being the most followed person
- 1:09:08Speaker 11: on TikTok.
- 1:09:08Speaker 18: Oh, wow.
- 1:09:09Speaker 6: What's the guy's name?
- 1:09:10Speaker 12: I don't know.
- 1:09:11Speaker 14: KB, Kabi, Kabi or KB.
- 1:09:13Speaker 6: She's about to pass him up. She might have already
- 1:09:14Speaker 6: done that to him.
- 1:09:15Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean, she literally like was the princess of
- 1:09:18Speaker 7: TikTok when TikTok started. So, I mean, I get it,
- 1:09:21Speaker 7: but I feel for her.
- 1:09:22Speaker 14: Yeah, totally.
- 1:09:24Speaker 20: All right, we got Doja Cat tickets.
- 1:09:33Speaker 6: Erica, good morning.
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: How are you? Hi, good morning.
- 1:09:37Speaker 14: I'm doing well.
- 1:09:38Speaker 15: Thank you so much.
- 1:09:39Speaker 6: Doja Cat could be yours. You got to win Netflix
- 1:09:41Speaker 6: number one.
- 1:09:41Speaker 22: All right, get your thinking caps on.
- 1:09:57Speaker 17: This is the Halloween edition of Netflix number one.
- 1:10:03Speaker 14: John Jay, we begin with you.
- 1:10:06Speaker 18: No.
- 1:10:07Speaker 6: Same cut to open.
- 1:10:09Speaker 2: I know.
- 1:10:09Speaker 14: Just turn it off.
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: It's stuck.
- 1:10:14Speaker 9: Okay.
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: Sorry.
- 1:10:15Speaker 17: This is the Halloween edition of Netflix number one.
- 1:10:19Speaker 14: John Jay, we begin with you. Doja Cat tickets are
- 1:10:22Speaker 14: on the line.
- 1:10:24Speaker 17: And when Doja Cat's Paint the Town Red hit number
- 1:10:26Speaker 17: one in 2023, how long had it been since any
- 1:10:30Speaker 17: rap song topped the Billboard Hot 100?
- 1:10:33Speaker 14: Six months? More than a year? Or three years?
- 1:10:38Speaker 6: If I say more than a year, then that cancels
- 1:10:42Speaker 6: out the three-year one.
- 1:10:44Speaker 14: Gonna need an answer.
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: Three years.
- 1:10:47Speaker 9: Incorrect.
- 1:10:47Speaker 14: It's more than a year. You should have gone with
- 1:10:49Speaker 14: your first.
- 1:10:50Speaker 17: Yes. The last one was actually Nicki Minaj's Super Freaky
- 1:10:53Speaker 17: Girl in August of 2022.
- 1:10:55Speaker 14: So just a little over a year.
- 1:10:57Speaker 8: Okay.
- 1:10:57Speaker 7: The rap girlie's on top. Okay, Rich.
- 1:11:01Speaker 17: Which Halloween song hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100?
- 1:11:05Speaker 14: Thriller, Monster Mash, or This Is Halloween?
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: It's not This Is Halloween. So it's either that, Thriller, or.
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: I'm going to go with Thriller, my first instinct.
- 1:11:15Speaker 8: Thriller. Incorrect.
- 1:11:16Speaker 17: It was actually Monster Mash. It hit number one in 1962.
- 1:11:19Speaker 17: I didn't know it.
- 1:11:22Speaker 7: Was that old of a song.
- 1:11:23Speaker 14: I know.
- 1:11:23Speaker 7: It's a vibe.
- 1:11:24Speaker 17: Peyton, which song spent the most weeks at number one? Ghostbusters,
- 1:11:30Speaker 17: Monster Mash, or Thriller?
- 1:11:32Speaker 7: Who are you going to call? Ma, I'm going to
- 1:11:35Speaker 7: go with Ghostbusters.
- 1:11:36Speaker 14: And you would be correct.
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: Invisible man, sleeping in your bed. Who are you going
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: to call?
- 1:11:42Speaker 6: Have you seen that? The new Bill Murray commercial. He's
- 1:11:45Speaker 6: in a Rivian and he's doing Ghostbusters.
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: That's cool.
- 1:11:49Speaker 14: I was like, oh, that's very creative of them.
- 1:11:51Speaker 17: Okay, so now you've got a feel for the game, Erica,
- 1:11:53Speaker 17: and Doja Cat tickets are on the line. We're playing
- 1:11:57Speaker 17: the Halloween edition of Netflix number one. So tell me, Erica,
- 1:12:01Speaker 17: what is the highest grossing horror movie of all time?
- 1:12:05Speaker 14: It, The Conjuring, or The Exorcist?
- 1:12:10Speaker 12: The Exorcist.
- 1:12:13Speaker 14: Oh, incorrect. It was actually it. Yeah, it made more.
- 1:12:19Speaker 17: Than $ 700 million worldwide. So after round one, Peyton is
- 1:12:23Speaker 17: the only one on the board. That's okay because round two,
- 1:12:27Speaker 17: all of the questions are worth more points. John Jay,
- 1:12:31Speaker 17: what are Americans spending the most money on this Halloween?
- 1:12:34Speaker 14: Candy, decorations, or costumes?
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: Costumes.
- 1:12:40Speaker 14: Costumes is correct.
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:12:41Speaker 14: You are finally on the board and took the lead
- 1:12:43Speaker 14: with two points.
- 1:12:44Speaker 17: Rich, which Halloween movie franchise has made the most money worldwide?
- 1:12:50Speaker 14: Halloween, Friday the 13th or Scream?
- 1:12:54Speaker 15: Oh, boy.
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: Well, the modern era, I would say Scream and tickets
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: cost more. So I'm going to go with scream. Final answer.
- 1:13:02Speaker 17: And you would be correct. Redemption for you, Rich Barra. Peyton,
- 1:13:07Speaker 17: this is your chance to take the lead. What's the
- 1:13:11Speaker 17: number one Halloween costume for pets this year?
- 1:13:15Speaker 14: Pumpkin, hot dog, or ghost?
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: Hot dog.
- 1:13:21Speaker 14: So sorry, you did not pull in the lead. It's
- 1:13:22Speaker 14: actually pumpkin. Pumpkin spice. Cute little pumpkin running around.
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: I like pumpkin.
- 1:13:28Speaker 9: Okay.
- 1:13:29Speaker 17: Erica, this is your chance to win the game because
- 1:13:32Speaker 17: for you, this question is worth 37 points.
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: Wow.
- 1:13:38Speaker 13: Okay.
- 1:13:39Speaker 17: Erica, which superhero is the number one Halloween costume for kids?
- 1:13:45Speaker 14: Batman, Superman, or Spider-Man?
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: Spider-Man.
- 1:13:52Speaker 14: Spider-Man is correct, which means Erica is going to.
- 1:13:55Speaker 8: See Doja Cat.
- 1:13:57Speaker 2: Good job, Erica.
- 1:14:02Speaker 6: Way to go.
- 1:14:03Speaker 19: Awesome.
- 1:14:03Speaker 7: Thank you.
- 1:14:04Speaker 6: You got it.
- 1:14:04Speaker 2: Hold on the line.
- 1:14:05Speaker 11: We're going to pay your bills again in less than
- 1:14:07Speaker 11: 20 minutes. First, Kyle, what's coming up and what we
- 1:14:08Speaker 11: need to know?
- 1:14:09Speaker 14: You can actually now lock your chat GPT. I will
- 1:14:12Speaker 14: tell you what you need to know next with John
- 1:14:15Speaker 14: Jay and.
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: Rich.
- 1:14:19Speaker 14: This is John Jay and Rich.
- 1:14:21Speaker 6: Before we get into what you need to know, I
- 1:14:23Speaker 6: want to play something. There's a song.
- 1:14:26Speaker 11: That's blowing up right now, and it's It reminds me,
- 1:14:31Speaker 11: my wife does not like olives. Do you guys like olives?
- 1:14:33Speaker 2: I do not.
- 1:14:34Speaker 7: The black olives are delicious.
- 1:14:36Speaker 6: Kyle, you do not like olives.
- 1:14:36Speaker 14: Yeah, no thank you.
- 1:14:37Speaker 7: Hard pass.
- 1:14:38Speaker 6: Same with my wife. She hates olives. So this song,
- 1:14:40Speaker 6: this is a guy's TikTok account.
- 1:14:41Speaker 9: Olives.
- 1:14:43Speaker 6: Wait, let me start over. Hold on, hold on. This
- 1:14:45Speaker 6: is a song for people that don't like olives. I
- 1:14:47Speaker 6: don't know how to start it again.
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: Darn it, hold on.
- 1:14:49Speaker 14: We have our own song now?
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: Yeah, listen.
- 1:14:51Speaker 9: Gross!
- 1:14:54Speaker 16: Why?
- 1:14:54Speaker 9: Why?
- 1:14:59Speaker 14: I wrote this song about people who like to eat olives.
- 1:15:02Speaker 6: Then he goes.
- 1:15:04Speaker 7: I wrote this song about people who like to eat
- 1:15:06Speaker 7: cottage cheese.
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: Jesus! Why? Why would you eat that?
- 1:15:16Speaker 11: Anyway, he's got a thousand videos of doing that exact
- 1:15:21Speaker 11: same thing for different things.
- 1:15:22Speaker 6: Anyway, Kyle, what do we need to know today?
- 1:15:24Speaker 17: Facebook's parent company, Meta, just got hit with an absolutely
- 1:15:27Speaker 17: insane $ 25 billion penalty over how it handled people's personal information.
- 1:15:33Speaker 14: That's your personal information.
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: Billion?
- 1:15:35Speaker 14: Billion.
- 1:15:37Speaker 17: A New Mexico judge ordered a massive payout after a
- 1:15:40Speaker 17: jury found the company misled users about privacy protections in
- 1:15:43Speaker 17: a case connected to the Cambridge analytical scandal. Now, Meta
- 1:15:47Speaker 17: says it is appealing the decision, arguing the penalty is
- 1:15:50Speaker 17: way too high, and denying that they misled anyone.
- 1:15:54Speaker 14: But we all kind of know, like, do we have
- 1:15:56Speaker 14: any privacy with menoprops?
- 1:15:57Speaker 17: Not if you're looking to make a little extra money
- 1:16:00Speaker 17: before the holidays. Amazon is hiring more than 300,000 workers
- 1:16:05Speaker 17: across the country. Seasonal jobs usually pay around 20 bucks
- 1:16:08Speaker 17: an hour on average for them. And employees also get
- 1:16:10Speaker 17: some pretty sweet grocery discounts, including 10 percent off eligible
- 1:16:14Speaker 17: essentials online and 20 percent off. In the Whole Foods stores.
- 1:16:17Speaker 17: It's not a bad perk when grocery prices are insane.
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: Wait, how many people are getting hired?
- 1:16:22Speaker 14: 300,000.
- 1:16:23Speaker 6: Boy, you don't really hear a lot about that. That's great.
- 1:16:25Speaker 6: I heard Netflix fired 1,000 people last week.
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: Yeah. Wow.
- 1:16:29Speaker 6: Way to go, Amazon.
- 1:16:30Speaker 14: Amazon is hiring. Like, massive hiring spree.
- 1:16:33Speaker 17: If you love online shopping, but you hate seeing your
- 1:16:36Speaker 17: credit card bill and you can't really afford it right now,
- 1:16:38Speaker 17: but you.
- 1:16:38Speaker 14: Just really, you love doing it. You may want to
- 1:16:40Speaker 14: try fake shopping.
- 1:16:42Speaker 17: There are no websites like fake hall and food never
- 1:16:45Speaker 17: comes where you can actually browse, fill up your cart
- 1:16:48Speaker 17: and even check out, except nothing happens.
- 1:16:51Speaker 14: You don't get charged. The items never come.
- 1:16:54Speaker 17: But psychologists say that this is like, it gives you
- 1:16:57Speaker 17: that same dopamine hit.
- 1:16:59Speaker 14: As when you're actually shopping online.
- 1:17:01Speaker 5: That's insane.
- 1:17:02Speaker 14: But your credit card bill will remain the same, and
- 1:17:04Speaker 14: you won't go into debt.
- 1:17:06Speaker 2: I love this.
- 1:17:07Speaker 14: Not really how we wanted to kick off the basketball season.
- 1:17:09Speaker 17: The Phoenix Suns got crushed by the Blazers last night,
- 1:17:12Speaker 17: losing 124 to 83.
- 1:17:14Speaker 14: I mean, at one point, the Blazers were ahead by
- 1:17:16Speaker 14: 52 points.
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: It was just.
- 1:17:18Speaker 9: Wow!
- 1:17:18Speaker 2: That's terrible.
- 1:17:20Speaker 7: We believe in our Suns.
- 1:17:21Speaker 11: Well, it's a good thing they raised their prices after
- 1:17:23Speaker 11: season tickets that I paid for.
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: What the hell?
- 1:17:29Speaker 14: It was just a really.
- 1:17:30Speaker 7: It happened.
- 1:17:31Speaker 14: It was a fluke, right?
- 1:17:32Speaker 7: It's early season. It's like we got our first home
- 1:17:35Speaker 7: game in the next couple days. Like, well, we'll be fine.
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: We got them right where we want them is what
- 1:17:39Speaker 2: you're saying.
- 1:17:39Speaker 14: We're going to be all right.
- 1:17:40Speaker 7: Now they're going to sleep on us. So then when
- 1:17:42Speaker 7: it comes to the end of season, we're going to
- 1:17:43Speaker 7: come and show out.
- 1:17:44Speaker 14: Exactly.
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 1:17:46Speaker 17: This is really sad for Phoenix and very surprising. I
- 1:17:49Speaker 17: saw this online yesterday and I was like, what? You
- 1:17:50Speaker 17: got to be kidding me. The Phoenix Symphony is suspending
- 1:17:53Speaker 17: its season after November 1st.
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: What?
- 1:17:55Speaker 14: 66 musicians are losing their job.
- 1:17:57Speaker 18: Oh, no.
- 1:17:58Speaker 17: Yeah, they're facing a huge financial crisis right now, despite
- 1:18:02Speaker 17: selling more tickets and, you know, but yeah, they can't
- 1:18:05Speaker 17: afford to stay open.
- 1:18:06Speaker 14: I think they said they need something like $ 10 million.
- 1:18:08Speaker 2: That's terrible. I will tell you, I just saw a
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: big event with them last year, and that Phoenix Symphony
- 1:18:14Speaker 2: is world-class excellent.
- 1:18:16Speaker 14: I know, and it's so beautiful.
- 1:18:18Speaker 17: I mean, musicians are hoping the community can help save it,
- 1:18:22Speaker 17: which is why I'm trying to help get the word
- 1:18:23Speaker 17: out right now, because we need music and we need
- 1:18:25Speaker 17: the Phoenix Symphony, and that is what you need to know.
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: We have breaking food news right now. And now, John
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: Jay and Rich present Food.
- 1:18:35Speaker 19: News.
- 1:18:35Speaker 2: Food News.
- 1:18:37Speaker 7: John Jay and Rich have Food News.
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: Well, for those of us who feel like the drive-thru
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: has gotten way expensive. Am I right, Peyton?
- 1:18:47Speaker 7: Yeah, super.
- 1:18:48Speaker 2: And McDonald's is rolling out. an $ 8 meal deal. So
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: it's pretty sweet. You get a quarter pounder with cheese,
- 1:18:55Speaker 2: medium fries, and a drink. The deal starts November 2nd,
- 1:18:59Speaker 2: and that is cool. Marvel rolling out their superhero menu,
- 1:19:03Speaker 2: which is all kinds of cool stuff. Superhero-inspired coffees, lemonades, donuts,
- 1:19:08Speaker 2: and munchkins. There's even a blue raspberry lemonade. The whole
- 1:19:12Speaker 2: thing launches November 2nd. And Starbucks just added today the
- 1:19:17Speaker 2: Black Cat Frappuccino.
- 1:19:19Speaker 14: They look so cute.
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: Doesn't it look cool?
- 1:19:21Speaker 17: It totally reminds me of Ariana Grande. I know it's
- 1:19:23Speaker 17: supposed to be like Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
- 1:19:25Speaker 14: The cat. Marvin Merlin. I know who he looks like.
- 1:19:29Speaker 14: I don't know his name though.
- 1:19:30Speaker 6: But is it the cup? Is it a special cup now?
- 1:19:32Speaker 2: It's not a special cup.
- 1:19:33Speaker 17: It just comes in like a regular. But it almost
- 1:19:35Speaker 17: looks like they use Oreos or something. I don't know
- 1:19:36Speaker 17: what they use in it. But it looks like a
- 1:19:38Speaker 17: chocolate frappuccino with little kitty ears on top.
- 1:19:41Speaker 14: It's very cute.
- 1:19:42Speaker 2: Edible chocolate kitty ears. That's pretty sweet.
- 1:19:45Speaker 17: And did you guys see that McDonald's has the boo
- 1:19:47Speaker 17: buckets this year and they're Disney villains?
- 1:19:49Speaker 7: No, I won't be going to do that. Disney villains,
- 1:19:52Speaker 7: I think, are my favorite characters in all Disney films.
- 1:19:54Speaker 9: I know.
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: They're very cute.
