- 0:18Speaker 2: It's showtime, folks!
- 0:21Speaker 3: Enjoy the show!
- 0:33Speaker 4: This is Roger Corman and you're listening to Movie Meltdown.
- 0:36Speaker 5: It's time for Sofa Theater.
- 0:41Speaker 6: Sofa Theater.
- 1:08Speaker 4: Welcome to Moving Out Down the Sofa Theater. Once again,
- 1:10Speaker 4: I am Brian.
- 1:11Speaker 7: I'm Joni.
- 1:12Speaker 3: I'm Misty. I'm Marlena.
- 1:14Speaker 8: Our chick ratio has gone even more up because Roger
- 1:17Speaker 8: is a... We killed Roger during Sharktopus. He got eaten
- 1:19Speaker 8: by the Sharktopus. Yeah.
- 1:21Speaker 4: We threw him in there to distract Sharktopus so he
- 1:23Speaker 4: could get away.
- 1:24Speaker 6: He died nobly, really.
- 1:25Speaker 9: Pit of a fight.
- 1:27Speaker 4: But it's okay, because as he got eaten, we yelled out, Woo!
- 1:32Speaker 10: As long as you scream when they get attacked, it
- 1:33Speaker 10: makes it, you know, they die, you know, nobly.
- 1:36Speaker 9: Or have that dunk on the look like that one
- 1:38Speaker 9: guy did.
- 1:39Speaker 7: Mark.
- 1:40Speaker 3: No.
- 1:41Speaker 6: He, like, drops the football and just staring at me.
- 1:44Speaker 11: What?
- 1:46Speaker 3: What's going on, guys?
- 1:47Speaker 9: Your friend just got ate. Run the fuck away. So
- 1:51Speaker 9: it had nothing to.
- 1:51Speaker 4: Do with the Sharktopus Clambake. Let's throw them down here.
- 1:57Speaker 10: We've now had crab, lobster, clams, shrimp, calamari, and to
- 2:02Speaker 10: round it out in our truly classy nature, fish sticks.
- 2:06Speaker 4: I like fish sticks.
- 2:08Speaker 8: Honestly, I personally am a pissy little bitch when it
- 2:10Speaker 8: comes to my food, so I only had the fish
- 2:12Speaker 8: sticks and the breaded shrimp because I only like shrimp
- 2:16Speaker 8: or most fish if I can't actually see what it
- 2:17Speaker 8: looks like.
- 2:18Speaker 4: I'm sure everyone's shocked by the fact that you're a
- 2:20Speaker 4: pissy little bitch.
- 2:21Speaker 3: I know. They all am, whatever.
- 2:23Speaker 4: But I'll have you know, I did specifically get Gordon
- 2:26Speaker 4: fish sticks.
- 2:27Speaker 3: Trust the Gordon's Fisherman.
- 2:28Speaker 4: Not even that.
- 2:29Speaker 10: My reasoning behind it is the Gordon's Fisherman looks like
- 2:32Speaker 10: the killer, and I know what.
- 2:33Speaker 4: You did last summer.
- 2:33Speaker 3: That's what I was thinking.
- 2:35Speaker 10: So that's my movie geek reasoning when I go shopping
- 2:38Speaker 10: for food as well.
- 2:39Speaker 4: I've done the.
- 2:40Speaker 9: Same thing before.
- 2:41Speaker 3: And I thought that, and I know what you did.
- 2:43Speaker 3: I'm like, it was the Gordon's Fisherman? You did it.
- 2:46Speaker 3: I knew it. Trust the Gordon's Fisherman, seriously.
- 2:49Speaker 4: To ram a hook through your middle.
- 2:50Speaker 6: Fish sticks are really Tara Reid.
- 2:53Speaker 9: Whoever the hell was in that movie.
- 2:55Speaker 3: Not Tara Reid.
- 2:56Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 2:56Speaker 9: Jennifer Love Hewitt.
- 2:57Speaker 3: Sarah Michelle Gellar, Frank Rich Jr., and Brian Felipe.
- 3:02Speaker 10: Although it does look like fish stick-sized things are missing
- 3:05Speaker 10: from her stomach. I think he took little pieces out
- 3:09Speaker 10: and turned them into.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Tara Reid's the one from American Pie.
- 3:11Speaker 6: You know, I was thinking Urban Legend.
- 3:14Speaker 3: Yeah, she's not in that either. Yeah, she is in
- 3:15Speaker 3: that one. She's the DJ.
- 3:16Speaker 5: Yeah, she's in that one, and the killer kind of
- 3:18Speaker 5: looks like the Gordon's Fisherman in that one as well.
- 3:20Speaker 6: I was just wrong.
- 3:21Speaker 9: Rebecca Gayhart looks like the Gordon's Fisherman. She's got the
- 3:26Speaker 9: big thing.
- 3:27Speaker 4: We are totally going to win her over as a
- 3:28Speaker 4: guest on the show, I'm telling you.
- 3:31Speaker 6: Rebecca Gayhart?
- 3:32Speaker 4: Yeah. So are you loaded up on fish products?
- 3:35Speaker 3: I am all fishy.
- 3:37Speaker 6: I'm in fish coma.
- 3:40Speaker 9: I think that's why my line is going to throw
- 3:41Speaker 9: up here in a little bit.
- 3:42Speaker 4: Possibly. But it had nothing to do with killing Roger,
- 3:45Speaker 4: because he didn't even have any by the time he
- 3:47Speaker 4: got killed.
- 3:48Speaker 6: Yeah, this is true.
- 3:49Speaker 5: He did eat some of the shrimp, though, which is
- 3:52Speaker 5: really good. The shrimp was delicious.
- 3:55Speaker 4: All right.
- 3:55Speaker 3: This week's... It was fucking awesome what this movie was.
- 3:58Speaker 4: So if a theater feature is.
- 4:01Speaker 3: Fucking awesome.
- 4:02Speaker 4: Shark to Paws! The year is 2010. The director is
- 4:08Speaker 4: Declan O'Brien, who we got to hang out with sort
- 4:12Speaker 4: of via television.
- 4:13Speaker 3: Did we?
- 4:15Speaker 10: In between, in our little cutaways during.
- 4:17Speaker 4: Commercial there, they brought him in towards the end, which
- 4:19Speaker 4: was kind of fun. The plot, according to IMDb, it
- 4:22Speaker 4: doesn't have one. What does that tell you? The movie's
- 4:25Speaker 4: that fucking awesome. It's pretty accurate. Yeah, we can make
- 4:28Speaker 4: up our own. If you cross a shark with an octopus,
- 4:30Speaker 4: you get one badass monster.
- 4:32Speaker 3: And then there's Eric Roberts! Who's awesome!
- 4:35Speaker 9: I love him!
- 4:36Speaker 3: I love him!
- 4:37Speaker 10: So, spoiler alert, if you don't have cable and you
- 4:41Speaker 10: didn't just watch Sharktopus, that's your own fault. So, We're
- 4:45Speaker 10: telling you now. Lord knows what we're going to say.
- 4:47Speaker 10: But I'm not sure you can spoil it as we
- 4:49Speaker 10: are covered with machete there. Not sure it can be spoiled,
- 4:53Speaker 10: but here we go. Where would you like to begin?
- 4:57Speaker 3: I don't even know. It's just so awesome.
- 4:59Speaker 6: Start at the very beginning.
- 5:00Speaker 9: That's a very good place to start.
- 5:01Speaker 3: This movie had some of my favorite movie quotes ever,
- 5:04Speaker 3: but I can't even remember what they are. That's how
- 5:06Speaker 3: awesome they were.
- 5:07Speaker 6: Tequila's on you guys, and I'm thirsty.
- 5:11Speaker 10: Well, she kind of had a weird lisp going on, too.
- 5:14Speaker 10: It was like, and I'm super thirsty.
- 5:18Speaker 3: I'm super thirsty.
- 5:20Speaker 4: Super thirsty guy.
- 5:21Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 5:22Speaker 3: Not this way.
- 5:24Speaker 4: That's my favorite. I think that killed, definitely, amongst all
- 5:28Speaker 4: of them, because it looks so bad. Oh, no.
- 5:31Speaker 3: Oh, no. Not like this. God, that was awesome. The
- 5:36Speaker 3: poor painter.
- 5:37Speaker 9: Was he a painter?
- 5:37Speaker 3: I thought they were just beach bums, like, sitting on
- 5:40Speaker 3: a little skiffle, skiff thing. What are those fucking things?
- 5:43Speaker 4: Scaffold?
- 5:43Speaker 3: Scaffold thing.
- 5:44Speaker 4: Scaffolding. Skiffle. Skiffle. Skiffle and Ollie.
- 5:47Speaker 3: I like skittles.
- 5:48Speaker 9: I wish we had some skittles.
- 5:49Speaker 3: Skittles would have been nice.
- 5:52Speaker 10: Well what i think is is funny is like they
- 5:56Speaker 10: as per usual in this type of movie they waste
- 5:59Speaker 10: no time like right off the bat and number one
- 6:02Speaker 10: you get a kill which that doesn't surprise me but
- 6:04Speaker 10: they don't even set up this situation it's just like
- 6:06Speaker 10: there he is it's already going on they're already like
- 6:10Speaker 10: mid-sentence on talking about you know where uh the blue
- 6:13Speaker 10: waters are corporation running things and the the s11 and
- 6:16Speaker 10: they're just like midway into this conversation you're like wait Wait, what?
- 6:21Speaker 3: Okay.
- 6:22Speaker 4: Well, there's killing. I like killing. They just don't set
- 6:24Speaker 4: up anything. They just throw you into it.
- 6:26Speaker 9: Are you complaining? I mean, seriously. I mean, you don't
- 6:29Speaker 9: need that much set up for a shark to puss movie.
- 6:31Speaker 4: Obviously not.
- 6:33Speaker 8: They could have wasted a half an hour with all
- 6:35Speaker 8: kinds of their research and backstory, but.
- 6:37Speaker 3: It's not necessary.
- 6:38Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 6:40Speaker 6: They talk too much anyway.
- 6:42Speaker 4: Kind of, yeah.
- 6:42Speaker 8: I mean, I like backstory most of the time, but
- 6:44Speaker 8: this is one of those, it's not really, yeah, no, just.
- 6:47Speaker 9: Fucking killing people.
- 6:49Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 6:50Speaker 6: I wanted more sex, really.
- 6:51Speaker 3: There was no sex in this movie whatsoever.
- 6:54Speaker 7: Not at all.
- 6:55Speaker 9: Even the lead guy didn't get to make out with
- 6:57Speaker 9: any chicks whatsoever.
- 6:58Speaker 12: And all the, like, hot girls on the beach were
- 7:01Speaker 12: scary looking, especially that one with the horse face and
- 7:04Speaker 12: the skinnyness.
- 7:05Speaker 9: And the bathing suit?
- 7:06Speaker 3: Oh, yeah. The one that had the horse voice. She
- 7:08Speaker 3: said something that was really awesome, but I can't remember
- 7:10Speaker 3: what it was.
- 7:11Speaker 9: Her mouth was too big.
- 7:12Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, right. There's fish in there or something like that.
- 7:15Speaker 3: It's because swimming in the ocean... No, there it is.
- 7:18Speaker 6: Oh my god, they're fishing there.
- 7:20Speaker 3: God, that was awesome, too.
- 7:22Speaker 4: Yeah, their writing in this is kind of scary.
- 7:25Speaker 6: I mean, it's a list.
- 7:27Speaker 3: I think it was intentional, which I really appreciate.
- 7:29Speaker 4: Somewhat? I don't know. It's questionable.
- 7:32Speaker 8: But I was kind of let down, though, because I
- 7:33Speaker 8: figured if they're going to make it as cheesy as Sharktopus,
- 7:36Speaker 8: I figured it'd be just a little bit more over-the-top cheesy.
- 7:39Speaker 3: I expected just a little bit more.
- 7:41Speaker 8: Kind of.
- 7:42Speaker 4: I'm along.
- 7:42Speaker 10: I mean, I definitely had a lot of fun with it, but...
- 7:46Speaker 10: I think it exists in that level, and I guess,
- 7:49Speaker 10: I don't know. I guess we can go in, because
- 7:52Speaker 10: we got a few responses online, so I think I
- 7:55Speaker 10: can reference them and then go.
- 7:56Speaker 4: Into what I think some of my issues were.
- 7:59Speaker 10: So we got a few of your two cents here,
- 8:01Speaker 10: but we can go with the, as usual, naked Eskimo
- 8:04Speaker 10: coming through here.
- 8:06Speaker 4: His response is, he starts off with, kind of sucked.
- 8:09Speaker 4: It had fun moments. It wasn't much better than the
- 8:11Speaker 4: rest of SyFy's brand of low-rent creature features. I thought
- 8:14Speaker 4: the design on the creature itself was amazing, and some
- 8:16Speaker 4: of the CGI looked damn good, but for the most part,
- 8:19Speaker 4: I was.
- 8:19Speaker 10: Trying not to fall asleep. He says, Corman didn't even
- 8:22Speaker 10: direct it, which I thought was the big selling point.
- 8:25Speaker 4: Oh, well. I watched the first ten minutes of Dino
- 8:26Speaker 4: Croc vs. Super Gator, and I kind of want to
- 8:28Speaker 4: watch that one now.
- 8:29Speaker 9: Dude, that movie's fucking awesome.
- 8:30Speaker 3: I love Dino Croc vs. Super Gator.
- 8:32Speaker 4: I started watching that one afterwards, too.
- 8:34Speaker 9: The Australian guy, or is he called the Australian or whatever?
- 8:38Speaker 4: I believe so. God, he was hot.
- 8:40Speaker 2: But that's what I remember.
- 8:41Speaker 10: I think that's part of this is, like, it borrows
- 8:44Speaker 10: so much from all these other sci-fi type movies. And
- 8:47Speaker 10: I guess, I mean, they're all stealing from movies, you know,
- 8:49Speaker 10: knockoff Jaws movies they've been making since the 70s anyway.
- 8:52Speaker 10: But then, like, once sci-fi got a hold of that brand,
- 8:56Speaker 10: it's like they went to town.
- 8:57Speaker 4: So really, like, it's set up.
- 8:59Speaker 9: It's like sci-fi exploitation.
- 9:01Speaker 4: Yeah, kind of.
- 9:02Speaker 10: And it just follows, like, the, you know, the normal
- 9:05Speaker 10: pattern of what you're supposed to do in one of
- 9:07Speaker 10: these movies. Because to me, yeah, they brought in, like,
- 9:09Speaker 10: Navy SEAL boy was sort of like the, what.
- 9:12Speaker 4: Did we just call him?
- 9:13Speaker 3: The Australian guy?
- 9:14Speaker 4: There you go.
- 9:15Speaker 10: But no, that to me, it's following that kind of
- 9:18Speaker 10: thing where it's like the Navy SEAL boy is supposed
- 9:20Speaker 10: to be like the hunter that they bring in. So
- 9:22Speaker 10: it's kind of like the Australian guy. And, So it
- 9:25Speaker 10: follows that same basic pattern and doesn't really stray from
- 9:28Speaker 10: it too much. This one, to me, wins a little
- 9:31Speaker 10: bit more just because the monster is so much more
- 9:34Speaker 10: awesome than light. It's more ridiculous. That's what makes it
- 9:38Speaker 10: more awesome is the fact that it's more ridiculous. I mean, again,
- 9:40Speaker 10: it didn't quite deliver on some of the other ridiculous storylines,
- 9:44Speaker 10: but on the monster, I think it did.
- 9:46Speaker 11: It's like.
- 9:46Speaker 4: It works on that level. So I mean the other
- 9:49Speaker 4: the dinosaur version and the super Gator They're just like
- 9:53Speaker 4: bigger versions or Jurassic Park stuff We've seen before this
- 9:56Speaker 4: one is so ridiculous and so like morphed into its
- 9:59Speaker 4: own little thing that that part's kind of awesome. I
- 10:02Speaker 4: do like. And some of the CGI, it went back
- 10:05Speaker 4: and forth.
- 10:06Speaker 12: I like how the scale of Sharktopus kept changing. There
- 10:10Speaker 12: was this one scene where her foot barely fit in
- 10:12Speaker 12: his mouth, or his foot.
- 10:14Speaker 9: And the next scene, he's, like, eating a fucking boat.
- 10:16Speaker 9: And I'm like, what the hell?
- 10:17Speaker 6: Just step out of it.
- 10:19Speaker 3: What? He's like one of those little grow sharks that
- 10:22Speaker 3: you find at the Dollar Tree. Yeah, that's big.
- 10:24Speaker 4: Yeah, the longer he's in water. So later, it was
- 10:27Speaker 4: just later in the story, and he could eat a boat.
- 10:29Speaker 8: I didn't like that the fucking shark looked incomplete through
- 10:32Speaker 8: half of it. They didn't bother to put any kind
- 10:33Speaker 8: of like.
- 10:34Speaker 9: texture on the.
- 10:35Speaker 8: Shark it just looked like glossy like it was a
- 10:37Speaker 8: fucking plastic toy it looked awesome as far as the
- 10:41Speaker 8: big fucking sharktopus but still it didn't look complete it
- 10:44Speaker 8: looked like they just like oh well it's gonna be
- 10:46Speaker 8: ridiculous anyway so there you go especially in the closer shots.
- 10:51Speaker 4: Yeah, just the closer shots, it was really... There were
- 10:53Speaker 4: a few that I was like, what was that big
- 10:55Speaker 4: balloon animal that was up on the street?
- 10:58Speaker 3: I like that his tentacles had spears on them.
- 11:00Speaker 9: That was nice.
- 11:01Speaker 10: That's handy for killing people.
- 11:03Speaker 6: I really kind of wanted.
- 11:04Speaker 9: Them to have, like, eyes or maybe little shark heads
- 11:07Speaker 9: on their tentacles.
- 11:08Speaker 4: We could do a puppet show.
- 11:10Speaker 6: Yes.
- 11:11Speaker 4: Shark to puppet show. Shark to puppet show.
- 11:15Speaker 6: Well, think about it. I mean, if you're going to
- 11:16Speaker 6: kill something, it would be great to have.
- 11:21Speaker 10: You could sneak up on them that way because you
- 11:23Speaker 10: could put the little puppet up on one side of
- 11:24Speaker 10: the boat and start going, hi.
- 11:26Speaker 4: How's it going?
- 11:26Speaker 10: And then attack from the other side.
- 11:28Speaker 13: Exactly.
- 11:29Speaker 3: I want a movie like that.
- 11:30Speaker 4: Come on, sci-fi.
- 11:31Speaker 6: Why didn't you contact me?
- 11:32Speaker 4: You're really letting us down here.
- 11:34Speaker 3: There's always room for a sequel.
- 11:36Speaker 4: Sharktopus 2, Electric Boogaloo. It'll be out in about six months.
- 11:41Speaker 5: Yes.
- 11:41Speaker 4: I'll wait right down.
- 11:44Speaker 3: I just love Eric Roberts so much. So much.
- 11:48Speaker 4: He's... He's there.
- 11:52Speaker 10: He's definitely doing the best acting in this movie, but
- 11:54Speaker 10: that's not saying much. I mean, that's probably the most glaring,
- 11:59Speaker 10: noticeable thing in this movie. The acting is terrible.
- 12:03Speaker 4: And watching it, it does make you sort of appreciate
- 12:06Speaker 4: regular movies because... Yeah, there's some horrible, horrible performances along
- 12:11Speaker 4: the way.
- 12:12Speaker 8: I think even he kind of gave up halfway through
- 12:14Speaker 8: after he's been drinking for a while.
- 12:15Speaker 6: I think he's probably actually drinking.
- 12:17Speaker 8: That scene where he's just like, I can't even do it,
- 12:20Speaker 8: the whole thing.
- 12:23Speaker 4: He just sort of throws his arms up. He's like,
- 12:24Speaker 4: I don't know, fuck it. How much more do we
- 12:27Speaker 4: have to shoot.
- 12:27Speaker 7: On this thing?
- 12:28Speaker 3: Are we done?
- 12:28Speaker 9: No, that's actually an outtake. They just accidentally slipped in there.
- 12:32Speaker 10: Well, I'm sure, much like in the Dino Croc vs.
- 12:35Speaker 10: Super Gator when we had Carradine, I'm pretty sure a
- 12:38Speaker 10: lot of this was shot in an afternoon. Because you'll notice,
- 12:41Speaker 10: other than the beginning and the end, he's not around
- 12:43Speaker 10: anybody else the whole damn movie. It's like he's just
- 12:45Speaker 10: on the boat in that one room with that one guy.
- 12:49Speaker 10: So it's like I'm sure they shot all of that
- 12:50Speaker 10: as quickly as possible and maybe paid him for, like,
- 12:53Speaker 10: another day to do those other things. I mean, I'm
- 12:55Speaker 10: sure his stuff was very isolated and quickly gotten out
- 12:59Speaker 10: of the way.
- 12:59Speaker 6: I mean, what else is he doing these days?
- 13:02Speaker 4: He's in real movies, though. That's what's weird is that
- 13:04Speaker 4: he's in this, but, I mean.
- 13:05Speaker 9: I know he ended up right. I hear him video once.
- 13:07Speaker 4: He was.
- 13:08Speaker 14: He was.
- 13:09Speaker 10: But I mean, he was just in like Dark Knight.
- 13:11Speaker 10: I mean, he's in like some of the biggest movies
- 13:12Speaker 10: around now.
- 13:14Speaker 4: Was he in Dark Knight? He's in Dark Knight, I think.
- 13:16Speaker 3: Who was he in Dark Knight?
- 13:17Speaker 4: He's like the drug kingpin guy. And he's one of
- 13:19Speaker 4: the criminals. Oh, yeah, he's like Tricone or whatever his
- 13:22Speaker 4: name is. And I think, was he in Expendables this year?
- 13:25Speaker 4: I mean, he's in like big budget stuff. He should be.
- 13:29Speaker 3: He's a Roberts, goddammit.
- 13:31Speaker 4: There's only so long you can coast on that name.
- 13:34Speaker 3: No, you can coast on that until you fucking die.
- 13:36Speaker 4: Only Julia. And we'll see how Emma does.
- 13:38Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 13:39Speaker 4: He dropped off pretty damn quick, because as soon as
- 13:42Speaker 4: she came along, his career took a nosedive. I don't understand.
- 13:45Speaker 3: I'm not a big Julia Roberts fan.
- 13:47Speaker 4: Maybe it's like Highlander rules. Maybe there can be only
- 13:49Speaker 4: one Roberts. Yeah, I guess so. And one day, Emma
- 13:52Speaker 4: will have to chop off Julia's head to take over.
- 13:55Speaker 3: And we will all wait patiently for that day.
- 13:57Speaker 4: There can be only one.
- 13:59Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't care. I mean, I appreciate her as
- 14:02Speaker 3: an actress, but yeah, she's not like. My favorite person
- 14:05Speaker 3: in the world.
- 14:05Speaker 10: I'm hit and miss. Like, there's some old stuff that, yeah,
- 14:07Speaker 10: I was a sucker for. But, yeah, as time went on,
- 14:09Speaker 10: she's done some weird.
- 14:11Speaker 3: Stupid stuff she does now.
- 14:12Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 14:12Speaker 3: Like that fucking Valentine's movie and that eat, pray.
- 14:17Speaker 4: Queef, whatever. Yes, that's exactly what it was.
- 14:21Speaker 3: That was a spoof on South Park.
- 14:23Speaker 4: Based on the number one telling book of the same name.
- 14:25Speaker 3: I didn't just pull that out of the air. It
- 14:29Speaker 3: was on South Park.
- 14:30Speaker 4: But, yeah.
- 14:31Speaker 9: Ugh.
- 14:34Speaker 3: Oh, I'm so loaded with fish that I can't think properly.
- 14:37Speaker 6: I want to go to sleep right now.
- 14:39Speaker 9: I'm so tired. I feel like Roger.
- 14:42Speaker 3: Dead because he got eaten by a shark.
- 14:46Speaker 6: Well, previous live Roger. Sleepyhead Roger. It's so funny.
- 14:50Speaker 9: He can fall asleep in the weirdest places.
- 14:53Speaker 4: So, I don't know. I think in the setup, I
- 14:56Speaker 4: think what this movie excels at, probably more than any
- 15:00Speaker 4: of the other sippy features, is the setup and delivery.
- 15:06Speaker 4: It has just countless scenes of clueless tourists and yokels going,
- 15:11Speaker 4: you know, with this setup of like 30 seconds of
- 15:13Speaker 4: them living their happy little lives and going on about
- 15:16Speaker 4: their vacationings.
- 15:17Speaker 9: And then dying horribly.
- 15:19Speaker 10: Ziplining and bungee jumping, and they're just, wee! It's the
- 15:22Speaker 10: greatest life in the snap.
- 15:25Speaker 3: To carry on the problem that we had that we
- 15:28Speaker 3: were discussing earlier, someone whose name I won't mention said,
- 15:33Speaker 3: as one of the people was ziplining over a pretty
- 15:36Speaker 3: stream in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, this person said, They make
- 15:43Speaker 3: Mexico seem so nice. Why the hell did they all
- 15:45Speaker 3: want to come up here? Call me out.
- 15:47Speaker 9: You called yourself out.
- 15:49Speaker 3: I did not name you. No one could have pieced
- 15:53Speaker 3: that together.
- 15:58Speaker 8: Me at all joni roger right before he died.
- 16:03Speaker 10: It's a good thing he's dead now that was horrible.
- 16:07Speaker 3: Xenophobic thing to say he's sour in shark to puss's stomach.
- 16:15Speaker 9: Roger is such a racist bastard.
- 16:18Speaker 10: And that and that's why shark to puss sought him out.
- 16:23Speaker 6: It's true, he had a purpose.
- 16:24Speaker 4: He does.
- 16:26Speaker 9: Sharktopus kills for equality. Equal killing for equal victims.
- 16:36Speaker 4: Oh, God.
- 16:37Speaker 10: But, again, I mean, this is a movie that's all
- 16:40Speaker 10: about the kills, obviously, and I think that is where
- 16:43Speaker 10: it excels.
- 16:44Speaker 4: It really does, like.
- 16:45Speaker 10: As bad as it is, I will be the first
- 16:47Speaker 10: to say the acting's terrible. The writing is horrendous, at
- 16:50Speaker 10: least dialogue-wise.
- 16:51Speaker 4: Acting?
- 16:51Speaker 9: What are you talking about? That mouth actor was awful.
- 16:54Speaker 4: Oh, that guy.
- 16:55Speaker 9: The guy with the Sharpie tattoos?
- 16:58Speaker 11: Wow.
- 16:58Speaker 9: Those teeth were pretty jacked up.
- 17:00Speaker 3: Yes!
- 17:01Speaker 8: But his Sharpie tattoos, seriously, hand to God. They look
- 17:04Speaker 8: like they were scribbled on there beforehand. They're like tic-tac-toe
- 17:07Speaker 8: on his hand or something.
- 17:08Speaker 4: That's the thing.
- 17:08Speaker 10: I wish people would learn how to do fake tattoos
- 17:11Speaker 10: that didn't look like fake tattoos. Like every movie I
- 17:14Speaker 10: see that's not like super high budget.
- 17:16Speaker 4: It's so bad.
- 17:17Speaker 2: Like, it's just.
- 17:19Speaker 10: It's like pulled it out of a Cracker Jack box
- 17:21Speaker 10: and licked your arm and stuck it on there bad.
- 17:23Speaker 3: That's cooler.
- 17:24Speaker 10: That's way cooler, actually, than his Sharpie business going on
- 17:27Speaker 10: in here.
- 17:28Speaker 4: Because, yeah, those are bad.
- 17:30Speaker 10: But I think the only thing that trumps the Sharpie
- 17:32Speaker 10: tattoos is the face acting.
- 17:35Speaker 4: And the thing is, the guys... Like, by the end
- 17:37Speaker 4: of it, I was just laughing. I was like, show
- 17:38Speaker 4: another scene with him. Show another one.
- 17:40Speaker 3: Because.
- 17:41Speaker 10: I mean, his delivery is always bad, but he does
- 17:43Speaker 10: this open mouth, staring, twisting his face.
- 17:49Speaker 3: It's the weirdest behavior I think I've.
- 17:51Speaker 4: Seen, well, since probably the last sci-fi movie, but, oh, man.
- 17:55Speaker 12: I kept finding myself trying to contort my face to
- 17:57Speaker 12: look like his as I was watching it.
- 17:59Speaker 4: Like, how do I do that? It's the weirdest thing.
- 18:02Speaker 6: Once again, for the home gang, you can't see what
- 18:04Speaker 6: I'm doing.
- 18:05Speaker 4: She's contorting, don't you worry.
- 18:06Speaker 3: Are we all still in our bikinis like we were earlier?
- 18:09Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 18:09Speaker 4: Oh, I'm not.
- 18:11Speaker 8: Uh-oh.
- 18:13Speaker 4: This is a party.
- 18:16Speaker 6: I was promised champagne. No, I'm just kidding.
- 18:18Speaker 4: Only in the champagne room.
- 18:20Speaker 3: Oh, Chris Rock.
- 18:26Speaker 6: Short to push to Chris Rock.
- 18:27Speaker 3: Whoa.
- 18:29Speaker 10: But as far as being, you know, all about the kills,
- 18:32Speaker 10: it really is like these kind of movies.
- 18:35Speaker 4: That's kind of what you wait for.
- 18:36Speaker 10: But, you know, versus the other ones, the Dino Croc
- 18:39Speaker 10: movies or any of that, it's like to me, this
- 18:41Speaker 10: one kind of one ups it and you get that
- 18:44Speaker 10: out of it. You're not going to get, you know,
- 18:45Speaker 10: the acting and dialogue, but you get what you really
- 18:47Speaker 10: kind of go in for on this one, which is.
- 18:50Speaker 4: Just setting up these ridiculous situations.
- 18:52Speaker 9: You get a guy getting his head ripped off by
- 18:54Speaker 9: a tentacle for God's sake.
- 18:56Speaker 10: He's having these stupid characters that you really don't like anyway,
- 18:59Speaker 10: and then watching them die horribly, and in funny ways,
- 19:02Speaker 10: because that's the thing. As silly as this is, I
- 19:05Speaker 10: probably laughed more watching it than most comedies I've seen.
- 19:09Speaker 4: In a long time. To me, this is way more
- 19:12Speaker 4: of a comedy that I can get behind compared to
- 19:14Speaker 4: what most people consider funny, especially modern comedies or.
- 19:20Speaker 6: I really like the amount of blood and gore.
- 19:22Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 19:23Speaker 9: I like that the blood showed up before the shark
- 19:25Speaker 9: bit the people.
- 19:25Speaker 8: Right?
- 19:26Speaker 12: And it popped out like he squeezed it out of them.
- 19:29Speaker 3: What are they?
- 19:30Speaker 6: Fucking juicy fruit?
- 19:31Speaker 4: It came through their pores. You squeeze really hard. You
- 19:34Speaker 4: have to have tentacles to do this. But mind me,
- 19:36Speaker 4: you squeeze really hard.
- 19:37Speaker 5: What were those things with the juice filled that go
- 19:39Speaker 5: with gummy guys?
- 19:40Speaker 1: Gushers?
- 19:41Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 19:41Speaker 9: Ooh, I love some gushers right now.
- 19:43Speaker 6: Sharktopus Just eating human gushers.
- 19:46Speaker 4: Why didn't they have, like, Sharktopus-sponsored gushers? That would have
- 19:49Speaker 4: been awesome.
- 19:49Speaker 3: Why didn't you get gushers, Brian? That would have been
- 19:51Speaker 3: a great idea.
- 19:52Speaker 4: Because sharks or octopi don't eat gushers. Do they even
- 19:54Speaker 4: make gushers anymore?
- 19:54Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 19:55Speaker 4: I'm pretty sure.
- 19:56Speaker 8: Huh.
- 19:57Speaker 3: I want some freshened up gum. It like spurts in
- 20:00Speaker 3: your mouth as you chew it. That's what she said.
- 20:02Speaker 3: You did it to yourself.
- 20:05Speaker 4: I don't think that works.
- 20:06Speaker 3: I do it to myself all the time.
- 20:08Speaker 6: That's what she said.
- 20:10Speaker 4: Okay, see that one was good. I'll give you that one.
- 20:14Speaker 3: Even, like, if I'm at home talking to myself, and
- 20:17Speaker 3: I'm like, that's what she said. And then I'm like, oh, God,
- 20:21Speaker 3: I'm a crazy cat lady. Do you retool it?
- 20:24Speaker 4: That's what I said. Oh, man, I am by myself.
- 20:27Speaker 3: I'm like, I'm alone. At least there's no questioning as
- 20:34Speaker 3: to why.
- 20:35Speaker 10: At least I just talk to the other voices and
- 20:38Speaker 10: I carry on conversations.
- 20:40Speaker 3: Well, I mean, to be fair, I'm not really talking
- 20:43Speaker 3: to myself. I'm usually talking to my dog or my cat.
- 20:45Speaker 9: That makes it a lot better.
- 20:47Speaker 4: I'm usually delivering monologues.
- 20:51Speaker 12: Everybody talks to themselves and if they say they don't,
- 20:54Speaker 12: they are fucking lying.
- 20:55Speaker 10: I mean, it's just convenient that we sit a microphone
- 20:57Speaker 10: in front of me once a week because I've already
- 20:59Speaker 10: done this material six or eight times.
- 21:01Speaker 9: But do you refer to yourself in third person?
- 21:04Speaker 4: Sometimes Brian does that. When you talk to yourself?
- 21:07Speaker 3: Misty does it all the time.
- 21:08Speaker 4: Misty does it all the time.
- 21:10Speaker 5: I'll start talking to myself in one part of my head,
- 21:13Speaker 5: and then the other part of my head will answer it,
- 21:15Speaker 5: and then I'll talk out loud.
- 21:17Speaker 4: Sometimes okay but sometimes sometimes you don't run it past
- 21:22Speaker 4: yourself and then you just say.
- 21:24Speaker 3: When i was little i used to have this weird
- 21:27Speaker 3: creepy habit that i would say things under my breath
- 21:29Speaker 3: before i said them out loud like.
- 21:31Speaker 5: Did it maybe it's just like to see what they
- 21:34Speaker 5: sound like have you seen the middle the.
- 21:37Speaker 10: What the middle that tv show it's again I'll give
- 21:43Speaker 10: you know that's one of the other ones that's almost
- 21:44Speaker 10: tolerable of a new sitcom but yeah the little kid
- 21:47Speaker 10: is creepy and he like he says things and then
- 21:50Speaker 10: he says them to himself.
- 21:53Speaker 4: He holds his head down and he'll repeat it again
- 21:55Speaker 4: to himself. It's his thing. He's a quirky little kid.
- 22:02Speaker 3: I did the saying it to myself first.
- 22:03Speaker 10: I've only hit and missed seeing it. That reminded me
- 22:05Speaker 10: of that little kid. That's what I'll give that show.
- 22:08Speaker 10: All the kids are creepy. They're realistic kind of creepy.
- 22:13Speaker 10: They're all weird and awkward and messed up. That's kind
- 22:17Speaker 10: of the selling point of that show.
- 22:18Speaker 4: The awkwardness. It's a pretty fun show. As bad sitcoms go,
- 22:22Speaker 4: it's a little better.
- 22:22Speaker 3: I wonder if he got eaten by a sharktopus.
- 22:24Speaker 4: Probably.
- 22:27Speaker 8: Yeah, I was a little bit disappointed in it.
- 22:29Speaker 9: I mean, it was fun, it was enjoyable, but.
- 22:31Speaker 3: After all the build-up and all the... It's gonna be awesome.
- 22:34Speaker 8: And with any, like, Sharktopus, I guess I expected just
- 22:36Speaker 8: a little bit more camp, I guess.
- 22:39Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 22:40Speaker 4: Kind of.
- 22:40Speaker 10: And that's one thing I was thinking, is, like, this
- 22:42Speaker 10: knows it's silly, but it... It's like it almost needs
- 22:46Speaker 10: to take a lesson from Piranha 3D.
- 22:48Speaker 4: Like, in watching that.
- 22:50Speaker 10: Like, that really... No, well, first of all, they need
- 22:53Speaker 10: to realize that. It's like, sci-fi doesn't... They're kind of
- 22:56Speaker 10: doing these movies with their hands tied. I mean, they're
- 22:58Speaker 10: making movies that kind of bank on showing boobs, and
- 23:02Speaker 10: then they can't do it. So, instead, they have to
- 23:04Speaker 10: put these scary-looking girls in bikinis.
- 23:06Speaker 9: Yeah, that one girl was adorable, and she had the
- 23:08Speaker 9: best body I've ever seen.
- 23:09Speaker 4: Which, the VJ girl?
- 23:10Speaker 1: Yes.
- 23:10Speaker 4: VJ girl.
- 23:12Speaker 3: She had a smoking hot bod.
- 23:15Speaker 4: Definitely, yeah.
- 23:15Speaker 10: But for this movie, she was definitely the best looking
- 23:18Speaker 10: of the bunch. What I didn't get with her, and
- 23:20Speaker 10: I'm not going to complain because she was the best
- 23:22Speaker 10: looking of the bunch, but why is.
- 23:23Speaker 4: She walking around in a bikini? Because she's inside the
- 23:26Speaker 4: entire time. They walk out on the outside of the
- 23:29Speaker 4: boat once for like two minutes at the very end there. But, yeah,
- 23:32Speaker 4: the entire rest of the time they're inside recording, doing
- 23:35Speaker 4: their little pirate radio thing. What's the point of wearing
- 23:37Speaker 4: a bikini?
- 23:38Speaker 3: Why are we all sitting in bikinis right now?
- 23:40Speaker 4: Well, that's because we have a theme show. He was
- 23:43Speaker 4: a captain. He didn't wear a captain hat. So they
- 23:45Speaker 4: didn't follow through with their theme.
- 23:47Speaker 3: And whatever happened to her? Did she just remember?
- 23:49Speaker 9: I think she learned.
- 23:50Speaker 10: Again, to be on her side, she also did the
- 23:52Speaker 10: best scream, which they kept cutting to at the commercial.
- 23:54Speaker 4: I was like, see, now she did a good job.
- 23:56Speaker 3: Did she live?
- 23:57Speaker 8: I think so.
- 23:59Speaker 13: I guess.
- 23:59Speaker 8: And whatever happened to that one girl on the boat
- 24:01Speaker 8: that even the fucking Sharktropus.
- 24:02Speaker 9: Didn't want to eat?
- 24:03Speaker 4: Skinny bitch.
- 24:04Speaker 9: The damn bony, nobody wanted to eat her.
- 24:06Speaker 6: She was very skinny.
- 24:08Speaker 8: Sharktropus was like, dude, don't fuck with her.
- 24:10Speaker 9: I'm going to go have some chum. I don't want
- 24:12Speaker 9: your ass.
- 24:12Speaker 6: She kind of looked like Rasputin from the animated Anastasia.
- 24:19Speaker 4: I don't know if that's a claim to fame you
- 24:21Speaker 4: really want.
- 24:21Speaker 5: Yeah, that woman should never be in another movie ever again.
- 24:25Speaker 9: She looks like a skeleton with a thin layer of
- 24:27Speaker 9: skin over her.
- 24:28Speaker 4: And a bikini.
- 24:31Speaker 3: Even Sharktopus didn't want to.
- 24:32Speaker 9: Eat her bony.
- 24:34Speaker 10: So, we've got another one here, and that sort of
- 24:37Speaker 10: leads to the other thing I wanted to discuss. This
- 24:39Speaker 10: is from Tony Hacks. These were, actually, both of these
- 24:42Speaker 10: were from, Nicodesimo opened up a folder in our forums.
- 24:45Speaker 4: So he started a special little forum just for Sharktopus, so.
- 24:49Speaker 4: That's pretty awesome.
- 24:50Speaker 10: Anyway, this one is Tony Hex, and he says, So
- 24:52Speaker 10: glad I never cared about this. I see the appeal, maybe,
- 24:55Speaker 10: but I'm pretty much finished with badness for the sake
- 24:57Speaker 10: of badness, barring something truly exceptional like The Room or
- 25:00Speaker 10: a birdedimmick, shock and terror. Shocked of us looked poor
- 25:05Speaker 10: to mediocre from the start, and not really interesting at all,
- 25:08Speaker 10: in my.
- 25:08Speaker 4: Opinion, of course. So that led me to that, I mean, what...
- 25:13Speaker 4: How far can we take it with the bad for
- 25:14Speaker 4: the sake of bad in these movies? Because it certainly
- 25:18Speaker 4: fits in with that.
- 25:20Speaker 3: But it just didn't seem like it took it far enough.
- 25:21Speaker 8: If you're going to be bad for the sake of bad,
- 25:23Speaker 8: it should have been a little bit worse.
- 25:25Speaker 3: There could have been.
- 25:26Speaker 8: More, I don't know, more elaborate deaths. It just seemed
- 25:31Speaker 8: like there was a lot of stabbing deaths going on.
- 25:33Speaker 8: There was a lot of, I don't know.
- 25:35Speaker 9: There was a lot of stabbing and squishing.
- 25:36Speaker 4: I know.
- 25:37Speaker 3: It's like, he's a shark-topus. What the hell else is
- 25:38Speaker 3: he going to do?
- 25:39Speaker 8: True.
- 25:40Speaker 9: But, I mean, it just seems like there could have
- 25:41Speaker 9: been something else. I'm just not sure what.
- 25:43Speaker 3: I like how at the end he took that guy's
- 25:44Speaker 3: head off. That was pretty exciting.
- 25:45Speaker 6: That was cool.
- 25:46Speaker 12: It would have been nice to see, like, him eat
- 25:49Speaker 12: it like an octopus would.
- 25:50Speaker 6: Just shove it up inside the mouth.
- 25:53Speaker 4: I wonder if he.
- 25:55Speaker 9: Would have a mouth there.
- 25:56Speaker 4: Didn't he?
- 25:57Speaker 14: There was a hole.
- 25:57Speaker 3: There was one underneath.
- 25:59Speaker 4: I thought that was what that was.
- 26:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:01Speaker 4: It took me a minute, because the first time I
- 26:02Speaker 4: saw him, I was like, what the fuck is that? But...
- 26:05Speaker 4: Is that his puppet hole? I think that was.
- 26:09Speaker 4: I thought he was the one with puppets. Wait a minute.
- 26:11Speaker 9: What's going on?
- 26:11Speaker 4: You're doctoring this up.
- 26:13Speaker 6: Nothing makes sense anymore.
- 26:16Speaker 4: Well, that's what I was saying about the Piranha 3D.
- 26:19Speaker 4: I mean, that one understood the level of bad for
- 26:23Speaker 4: the sake of bad and then took it up several
- 26:25Speaker 4: notches and was just like, To the point where I think,
- 26:28Speaker 4: you know, they feel like, I felt like they were
- 26:30Speaker 4: actually really aware. Like, Aja was, like, really.
- 26:34Speaker 10: Conscious of the fact that these movies are kind of
- 26:37Speaker 10: ridiculous and dumb and just there for the, you know,
- 26:40Speaker 10: the TNA and the blood. So let's take it up
- 26:43Speaker 10: to the level of ridiculous... And let's, you know, and
- 26:46Speaker 10: almost to the point of, like, people have given a
- 26:48Speaker 10: lot of elaborate, like, almost to the point of commentary
- 26:51Speaker 10: on these type of movies or, like, the whole society
- 26:55Speaker 10: in general.
- 26:56Speaker 4: It's like he took it.
- 26:56Speaker 10: To a level that was, like, almost smarter than the
- 26:59Speaker 10: dumb movies that he's making fun of.
- 27:01Speaker 4: Where this, to me, just plays like a cheesy sci-fi movie. Like,
- 27:04Speaker 4: it never really feels like it's elevated to that point.
- 27:07Speaker 4: It's just kind of like a bad B movie. You know,
- 27:10Speaker 4: they've been making those for hundreds of years now.
- 27:13Speaker 10: So... This just feels like it falls into one of those.
- 27:15Speaker 10: It's a fun bad B movie, but it certainly is
- 27:18Speaker 10: a bad B movie still, nonetheless.
- 27:20Speaker 8: See, I was disappointed because in my head I'm like, okay,
- 27:22Speaker 8: he's going to go breed with a shark. And we're
- 27:24Speaker 8: going to get little Sharktopus babies.
- 27:25Speaker 3: That's what I was thinking. And then we're going to
- 27:27Speaker 3: have a sequel, but then there was nothing.
- 27:28Speaker 4: Maybe there's a special scene that they didn't show us.
- 27:31Speaker 4: Then they'll just happen to show you at the beginning
- 27:34Speaker 4: of Sharktopus 2 Electric Boogaloo. Electric Eel Boogaloo. Wait a minute.
- 27:38Speaker 7: Uh-oh.
- 27:39Speaker 4: They're going to work that into it. Alright, maybe not.
- 27:42Speaker 3: That's what I was really hoping. There'd be little shark-tipus
- 27:45Speaker 3: babies and they would like... You know that movie, what
- 27:47Speaker 3: was it? Crocodile or Alligator or something where they come
- 27:52Speaker 3: up through your toilet and get you?
- 27:54Speaker 4: Shark-tipus babies coming up through the toilet? That would be frightening.
- 27:57Speaker 3: I'm going to have to look before I poop next time.
- 28:01Speaker 2: I would if I were you.
- 28:04Speaker 4: You don't want that going on. Nobody likes that.
- 28:09Speaker 3: What was that?
- 28:12Speaker 4: But this, I don't know.
- 28:14Speaker 10: I think this one, I mean, when he was comparing
- 28:16Speaker 10: it to those other really bad movies, and I think
- 28:19Speaker 10: that is something I will kind of give to those.
- 28:20Speaker 4: And I'm not saying I'm big on. I haven't really
- 28:23Speaker 4: watched most of these epically bad movies. But what I
- 28:25Speaker 4: know of a lot of them is that.
- 28:28Speaker 10: The reason that they're so bad and the reason people
- 28:31Speaker 10: are like, can totally get behind them on how terrible
- 28:34Speaker 10: they are is because there's like a level of earnestness
- 28:37Speaker 10: to them. Like they genuinely think they're making the best
- 28:41Speaker 10: movie ever. Like they, they set out to make this
- 28:43Speaker 10: movie and they're putting all of their, you know, their
- 28:45Speaker 10: effort and love and money and everything into it. And
- 28:49Speaker 10: it's a train wreck and we're watching it knowing it's
- 28:51Speaker 10: a trainer, but you, they don't know that. Like they're
- 28:53Speaker 10: so close to it that they, they love this thing
- 28:56Speaker 10: and they think it's the best thing ever.
- 28:57Speaker 4: Um, And definitely, I mean, you get that with, like, Birdemic.
- 29:00Speaker 10: That guy has no idea what, I mean, he just,
- 29:03Speaker 10: he was kind of clueless as to how terrible some
- 29:05Speaker 10: of this stuff is.
- 29:06Speaker 4: But, you know, to look at it, you almost have
- 29:10Speaker 4: to give them a little more appreciation because.
- 29:13Speaker 10: it's it's so like wholeheartedly that they go into this
- 29:15Speaker 10: that they genuinely are putting something good together to me
- 29:18Speaker 10: that's it's sort of like the ed wood rule and
- 29:20Speaker 10: because i love ed wood movies to a ridiculous extent
- 29:24Speaker 10: so it's like to me it feels like you get
- 29:26Speaker 10: that because that's one of.
- 29:27Speaker 4: Those yeah he made bad movies but he set out
- 29:31Speaker 4: to make you know seriously he thought he was making
- 29:34Speaker 4: oscar caliber stuff like he thought he was making the
- 29:36Speaker 4: best movie ever and you know we can laugh at
- 29:39Speaker 4: it now, but he was so, like, just in love
- 29:42Speaker 4: with the process and just loved what he was doing. And,
- 29:46Speaker 4: you know, the movie itself was kind of like secondary
- 29:48Speaker 4: to how much he loved his.
- 29:50Speaker 10: Whole filmmaking life. Whereas this, you know, this just feels
- 29:54Speaker 10: like they needed to make a cheesy movie.
- 29:56Speaker 1: And they.
- 29:57Speaker 4: Followed through with that.
- 29:58Speaker 5: It was like somebody got really, really, really stoned one
- 30:01Speaker 5: day and decided they were like, hey, dude, hey, hey.
- 30:04Speaker 6: What if a shark and an octopus, what if they
- 30:08Speaker 6: like were one? And like, how would it be? And
- 30:13Speaker 6: that's what happened.
- 30:14Speaker 9: Why do I get the feeling you've probably had this
- 30:15Speaker 9: conversation before?
- 30:17Speaker 5: Um, I may have, you know, contacted sci-fi about eight
- 30:20Speaker 5: months ago.
- 30:21Speaker 6: I'm just saying.
- 30:22Speaker 10: Actually, you have to go back way further than that.
- 30:24Speaker 10: Cause this was another one in the, in our, our
- 30:26Speaker 10: little folder on the forum.
- 30:27Speaker 4: Uh, Mr.
- 30:28Speaker 10: Chris here pointed out that, um, The most amusing aspect
- 30:31Speaker 10: of Sharktopus is it's a name that appears on a
- 30:33Speaker 10: list that Leela is holding on Futurama.
- 30:36Speaker 4: In episode four in 1999. Nice.
- 30:40Speaker 10: There's like, I guess it's like an itinerary of like
- 30:43Speaker 10: stuff that they're shipping, I guess. And one of which
- 30:45Speaker 10: on the little checklist is Sharktopus.
- 30:48Speaker 4: So I'm wondering, was that purposeful? Did they watch that?
- 30:52Speaker 4: Or is it something that they think they came up with?
- 30:54Speaker 3: I mean, like a Sharktopus isn't really like the most...
- 30:57Speaker 3: crazy idea to ever i mean it's stupid but i
- 31:00Speaker 3: mean it's not like you couldn't put 10 people in
- 31:04Speaker 3: a room and like four of them wouldn't come up
- 31:06Speaker 3: with the idea i like the names.
- 31:08Speaker 6: That they gave us before the the work and.
- 31:11Speaker 4: Title names they were pretty bad what.
- 31:14Speaker 6: Was it octo octo arc was one of them what was.
- 31:18Speaker 8: The other.
- 31:21Speaker 3: Shavatar.
- 31:21Speaker 6: I like that one.
- 31:23Speaker 4: They were bad.
- 31:25Speaker 3: Finception.
- 31:27Speaker 4: Yeah, that was really bad.
- 31:29Speaker 3: But, I mean, you got the.
- 31:31Speaker 4: Let's see, the director's Declan, Declan O'Brien, and he's like,
- 31:35Speaker 4: I mean, he's kind of making fun of his own
- 31:37Speaker 4: movie now. Like, I mean, not even, sometimes you'll get
- 31:40Speaker 4: people that make a bad movie, actors or directors, and
- 31:43Speaker 4: you give it 10 years and they look back and go, okay,
- 31:45Speaker 4: you're right, and they'll get a sense of humor about
- 31:47Speaker 4: themselves and they can make fun of themselves. But when
- 31:49Speaker 4: you're at the premiere of it and you're kind of
- 31:51Speaker 4: making fun of your own movie, it's like you know
- 31:54Speaker 4: there's no, like, earnestness to it. There's not like he
- 31:56Speaker 4: went in thinking, this is gonna be a good movie.
- 31:59Speaker 4: I mean, he's making fucking Sharktopus. He knows that.
- 32:02Speaker 10: But, I mean, if it puts it in perspective, the
- 32:03Speaker 10: last thing he made, Misty, Wrong Turn 3.
- 32:07Speaker 5: Ugh, I hated that one.
- 32:09Speaker 8: I liked Wrong Turn 2 and Wrong Turn 1.
- 32:12Speaker 4: It's sad that I knew your feelings on this movie.
- 32:15Speaker 3: I loved the first one.
- 32:16Speaker 8: I loved the second one because fucking Henry Rollins is
- 32:18Speaker 8: freaking awesome. But the third one, ugh.
- 32:22Speaker 6: I liked that it was Wrong Turn 3, Left 4 Dead.
- 32:24Speaker 6: Left 4 Dead.
- 32:25Speaker 8: What's next?
- 32:29Speaker 4: Right turn Clyde starring Clint Eastwood directed by Clint.
- 32:35Speaker 8: Eastwood starring the monkey rockin' for righty tighty.
- 32:42Speaker 10: So, yeah, he's directed Cyclops and Rock Monster. It's not
- 32:47Speaker 10: like this guy holds himself up.
- 32:48Speaker 4: There to be an Oscar-caliber director. I'm assuming, since he's
- 32:52Speaker 4: appearing on it, making fun of it, basically, that he
- 32:56Speaker 4: doesn't take it seriously either.
- 32:58Speaker 10: And to me, that's kind of where I have to
- 32:59Speaker 10: take points off, really. It's like, if you don't go
- 33:02Speaker 10: in expecting to make a good movie, how can we
- 33:04Speaker 10: appreciate it as a good movie, basically? If you go
- 33:07Speaker 10: in to make crap, we can only appreciate it as crap.
- 33:10Speaker 4: I don't know. But we do love your crap. Yeah,
- 33:12Speaker 4: not that it's not fun, but still, I mean, you watch.
- 33:15Speaker 3: Could have been better.
- 33:15Speaker 4: Yeah, you watch the acting, you watch the dialogue being delivered,
- 33:18Speaker 4: and you're just like, well, okay, this is crap. Granted,
- 33:21Speaker 4: I like the monster, I like the kills. It's a
- 33:23Speaker 4: lot of fun.
- 33:24Speaker 10: I laughed at it a hell of a lot, but
- 33:26Speaker 10: only sometimes.
- 33:27Speaker 4: Was it stuff I was supposed to be laughing at.
- 33:30Speaker 3: I hated the hero guy.
- 33:31Speaker 9: I'm like, dude, really? You want me to buy this
- 33:33Speaker 9: guy as your fucking hero?
- 33:34Speaker 6: The blue steel face? The whole fucking movie?
- 33:37Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 33:38Speaker 10: Somebody online listed it as he looked like he just
- 33:40Speaker 10: smelled something. And the more I watched it, I was like,
- 33:43Speaker 10: they're kind of right.
- 33:44Speaker 3: He does have that the whole time. His stink face?
- 33:47Speaker 4: Yeah, he's kind of like, what is that?
- 33:48Speaker 3: Who farted?
- 33:49Speaker 4: Yeah, he's got that going the whole time.
- 33:51Speaker 8: It was the girl with the weird blotchy freckles.
- 33:53Speaker 3: Who was really cute from far away. She was like
- 33:56Speaker 3: a monster teen.
- 33:57Speaker 9: She did.
- 33:58Speaker 8: All of her teeth were like filed to a fucking point.
- 34:01Speaker 3: She had little monster teeth.
- 34:02Speaker 9: She was like, um, fuck, what's his name?
- 34:04Speaker 4: She's the spawn of Shark Duos.
- 34:06Speaker 3: That's right. She could have been made it. She had
- 34:09Speaker 3: no mother in the movie.
- 34:10Speaker 4: That's right. Maybe Eric Roberts.
- 34:12Speaker 3: She could be Sharktopus' mother.
- 34:13Speaker 4: Maybe Eric Roberts and Sharktopus late one night.
- 34:16Speaker 3: I think it's lonely in the lab.
- 34:18Speaker 8: Because seriously, all of her teeth were like little points
- 34:21Speaker 8: and like little shark teeth. She's like, what's his name?
- 34:25Speaker 6: From Sleepy Hollow.
- 34:26Speaker 4: Christopher Walken.
- 34:28Speaker 2: Oh, yes.
- 34:29Speaker 4: That is frightening.
- 34:30Speaker 3: I was afraid of Christopher Walken forever because of that.
- 34:33Speaker 4: You should be afraid of him.
- 34:34Speaker 5: I saw him in something before I saw that, and
- 34:35Speaker 5: I was like, oh, my God, he's so dreamy. I
- 34:37Speaker 5: was like nine, and then I saw that, and I
- 34:38Speaker 5: was like, no.
- 34:39Speaker 3: Oh, that reminds me. Christopher Walken was dreamy.
- 34:42Speaker 9: Oh, yeah.
- 34:44Speaker 3: One thing I did watch this week that– was amazing
- 34:48Speaker 3: but also i mean i love tim curry i really
- 34:51Speaker 3: do but he's fucking scary yeah the new criminal minds
- 34:56Speaker 3: the last criminal minds episode oh my god i had nightmares.
- 34:59Speaker 6: It freaked me the fuck out but i.
- 35:01Speaker 3: Love that show every almost every show almost every episode
- 35:04Speaker 3: features like a leonard cohen song and i mean like
- 35:06Speaker 3: i'm totally behind any show that.
- 35:08Speaker 4: Has oh yeah yeah i love them But, yeah, I
- 35:11Speaker 4: saw the commercial for that. I was like, wow, that's
- 35:13Speaker 4: a creepy and dramatic thing for him.
- 35:15Speaker 3: I mean, he's gotten really fat and he's really old.
- 35:17Speaker 3: He had, like, rotten teeth and, like, a gobble neck
- 35:19Speaker 3: and stuff. There are very few things I hate more
- 35:21Speaker 3: than a gobble neck.
- 35:22Speaker 12: And the fact that he kidnapped a little girl and
- 35:23Speaker 12: cut all her hair off.
- 35:24Speaker 4: Like, what?
- 35:26Speaker 9: We can't get into.
- 35:27Speaker 3: That because I'll keep going. But, see, the thing that
- 35:30Speaker 3: I had a problem with, in the purpose of the show,
- 35:34Speaker 3: he was an American guy.
- 35:36Speaker 8: And, like.
- 35:37Speaker 3: Hello, I'm Tim Curry. I've got my British accent. Oh,
- 35:40Speaker 3: I was born in California, and I'm a serial killer.
- 35:44Speaker 4: What? He's never been good at accents, I hate to
- 35:46Speaker 4: tell you. I know. Have you seen Congo?
- 35:49Speaker 3: No, but I mean.
- 35:50Speaker 4: As horrible as Congo is, it's bad enough. I mean,
- 35:53Speaker 4: he can't do an American accent either, but he's supposed
- 35:56Speaker 4: to be Russian in that movie, and he just sounds
- 35:59Speaker 4: British 90% of the time.
- 36:01Speaker 3: I mean, you could tell he kind of tried to
- 36:02Speaker 3: not have it, which was even worse.
- 36:04Speaker 6: Yeah, it sounded more British.
- 36:06Speaker 3: And as much as I love Criminal Minds, I really
- 36:08Speaker 3: just think they were going the John Lithgow, Dexter route. Like,
- 36:11Speaker 3: let's pull this old, famous actor who's not really doing
- 36:14Speaker 3: anything out of the vaults and making the creepy serial
- 36:17Speaker 3: killer in our movie or our TV show.
- 36:19Speaker 4: You can't blame them. They all have to do that.
- 36:20Speaker 2: It's competition.
- 36:21Speaker 5: You didn't get to blow him away at the end,
- 36:23Speaker 5: which was pretty cool.
- 36:27Speaker 4: Spoiler alert.
- 36:27Speaker 3: Like we didn't see it coming.
- 36:29Speaker 8: I know.
- 36:30Speaker 3: That's one of the things I DVR religiously at work
- 36:32Speaker 3: to watch.
- 36:32Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 36:35Speaker 4: So while we brought up our little lead guy there,
- 36:39Speaker 4: where's your phone at?
- 36:41Speaker 3: Oh, in my pocket. All right.
- 36:45Speaker 4: Who? Barry Sobel. S-O-B-E-L.
- 36:49Speaker 10: Now, for this, this is probably for all of you,
- 36:52Speaker 10: this is going to be a special Google project. Because
- 36:55Speaker 10: half of you, at least, is probably going to have
- 36:57Speaker 10: no idea who I'm talking about. But I couldn't get
- 36:59Speaker 10: out of my head the entire time. Because we already,
- 37:01Speaker 10: you don't take this guy seriously. He's kind of a joke.
- 37:04Speaker 10: He's weird looking. He doesn't fit your Navy SEAL at all.
- 37:08Speaker 3: What did you say, more like a football player?
- 37:09Speaker 12: Yeah, he's more like a backwoods country, like Kentucky football.
- 37:15Speaker 4: He kind of seems like a douche, too. He just
- 37:17Speaker 4: seems like a frat boy. He could have been an
- 37:20Speaker 4: extra in the fucking Night of the Creeps.
- 37:23Speaker 10: He would not seem out of place with a popped collar.
- 37:25Speaker 4: That's all I have to say.
- 37:27Speaker 3: Who is it?
- 37:28Speaker 4: Barry Sobel.
- 37:29Speaker 3: I know, but I'm getting a bunch of pictures of
- 37:31Speaker 3: a million different guys. Is it this guy?
- 37:34Speaker 4: Who is this guy? Yeah, this is a reference that
- 37:37Speaker 4: nobody will get except two or three people. Barry Sobel,
- 37:41Speaker 4: bad 90s stand-up, whose basic gimmick was, well, at first
- 37:47Speaker 4: it was just pointing out, in our usual fashion of racism,
- 37:51Speaker 4: pointing out, like, stereotypes and then kind of making fun
- 37:55Speaker 4: of them, but pretending like his making fun of it
- 37:59Speaker 4: was really trying to make it okay.
- 38:02Speaker 10: I don't know, he had some weird delivery of like,
- 38:04Speaker 10: saying things that were horribly racist.
- 38:07Speaker 4: And then like, oh no, really? I don't know.
- 38:10Speaker 3: Like me?
- 38:10Speaker 4: You know, you gotta go, fine, okay, no stereotype is true.
- 38:13Speaker 3: Fine, nothing is the way you imagine.
- 38:16Speaker 11: Filipinos don't eat dogs.
- 38:17Speaker 3: Okay, fine. A lot of Italian businesses are very legitimate.
- 38:22Speaker 4: Fine.
- 38:24Speaker 3: I've never seen an Italian woman with a mustache. Arabs
- 38:26Speaker 3: don't smell. Jewish people are always picking up a check. Okay, fine.
- 38:30Speaker 10: No, you're not a bad stand-up. He was bad to
- 38:33Speaker 10: begin with, but then his persona became... I'm the white
- 38:37Speaker 10: guy that thinks I'm black. So then he started touring
- 38:40Speaker 10: dressed in crazy hats and hip-hop gear and nonsense like that.
- 38:45Speaker 4: No, to the point that by the end of his career,
- 38:48Speaker 4: he ended up as the token white guy on 227.
- 38:53Speaker 4: If anybody, that's probably the only way anybody will remember
- 38:55Speaker 4: him is if you're, if you remember watching 227 going,
- 38:57Speaker 4: what's this dorky white guy doing in the middle of it?
- 39:00Speaker 4: It's that guy who, but that's the thing. He, this
- 39:04Speaker 4: guy looks like, like the bastard brother-in-law of Barry Sobel.
- 39:08Speaker 4: That's the only thing I could think to me.
- 39:09Speaker 3: The main guy?
- 39:10Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 39:11Speaker 4: Our bad, like he looks like, like a horrible like
- 39:14Speaker 4: version of that. I mean, obviously, he's not like Mr. Abs,
- 39:19Speaker 4: like our lead boy was.
- 39:21Speaker 8: And if he's lived in Mexico for three fucking years,
- 39:23Speaker 8: why is he still so fucking pale and pasty?
- 39:25Speaker 9: Dude, fucking get a tan. What SPF are you fucking using?
- 39:28Speaker 9: Because I want it. Because I want to stay as
- 39:29Speaker 9: pale and pasty.
- 39:30Speaker 6: As you are and how how did you do that
- 39:32Speaker 6: trick with the hat in the water.
- 39:34Speaker 8: Dude seriously because it was not there it was not
- 39:36Speaker 8: there one minute and they said you know fucking sombrero
- 39:38Speaker 8: and he pulled out of his ass what the hell.
- 39:39Speaker 4: Yeah i don't think he can lay on the bottom
- 39:41Speaker 4: if you're wearing a sombrero Technically, no. No. It's against
- 39:44Speaker 4: the rules. Sure, it goes against the laws of time
- 39:47Speaker 4: and space.
- 39:47Speaker 3: And it just wasn't there.
- 39:48Speaker 9: That's what I'm saying.
- 39:50Speaker 4: Physics-wise, you can't do that. So, I don't know.
- 39:54Speaker 10: That's what all I could think of the whole time
- 39:56Speaker 10: was that annoying guy delivering bad stand-up and then firing
- 40:00Speaker 10: a gun randomly.
- 40:01Speaker 4: Because this guy couldn't shoot.
- 40:03Speaker 3: He could not.
- 40:04Speaker 5: Dude, I could have fucking shot better than him. You know,
- 40:06Speaker 5: I know you're firing on a green screen or whatever.
- 40:09Speaker 5: You don't know where the Sharktopus is. But, hey, at
- 40:12Speaker 5: some point they could have made it connect once.
- 40:15Speaker 8: Once? No.
- 40:16Speaker 3: No, not at all.
- 40:18Speaker 4: Well, my favorite was how often he liked to just
- 40:20Speaker 4: fire randomly in the air to scare people off.
- 40:23Speaker 9: And waste all his fucking bullets. It's at the end.
- 40:25Speaker 3: Well, now I'm on a bullet.
- 40:26Speaker 6: I never saw him reload, which is funny.
- 40:30Speaker 3: I never saw him hit anything useful.
- 40:32Speaker 4: No, not really.
- 40:33Speaker 12: I love the fact that everybody, like, gyrates completely horrible
- 40:36Speaker 12: when they shoot the gun, too.
- 40:37Speaker 6: Like, their arms move and... Probably.
- 40:41Speaker 9: A kickback that should not be there.
- 40:42Speaker 4: I called out the Dino Kraken Super Gator movie for
- 40:45Speaker 4: the same thing. The muzzle flashes are always terrible in
- 40:49Speaker 4: these movies. It always looks like, you know, just bad, like,
- 40:53Speaker 4: what did we decide? It was Adobe?
- 40:56Speaker 3: Sparkler?
- 40:57Speaker 4: No, it's like Adobe paint and they just flashed a
- 40:59Speaker 4: little orange in front of the screen or Oh, man. Yeah,
- 41:03Speaker 4: that part always looks bad. There was this one.
- 41:04Speaker 12: Girl in the movie who got taken down by Sharktopus,
- 41:07Speaker 12: and she screamed, but you could tell that her mouth
- 41:10Speaker 12: wasn't moving when she was being taken down, which was
- 41:13Speaker 12: kind of funny.
- 41:14Speaker 6: I enjoyed that.
- 41:15Speaker 4: There's also these weird meta moments where they're talking about
- 41:19Speaker 4: the movie, but they're not talking about the movie.
- 41:22Speaker 3: That makes it funny.
- 41:23Speaker 4: I guess.
- 41:24Speaker 3: Oh, she's like, that only happens in movies.
- 41:27Speaker 10: That one was bad, but the one where they're describing
- 41:30Speaker 10: the plot of the movie you're watching as though it
- 41:32Speaker 10: would be funny if they made a movie about the
- 41:35Speaker 10: movie you're watching.
- 41:36Speaker 9: But even that guy was like, dude, that nod sucks.
- 41:38Speaker 4: He called it. so yeah they that was him insulting.
- 41:42Speaker 8: The girl though you're easily amused i've seen you be
- 41:45Speaker 8: amused by watching a burrito in a microwave like dude
- 41:49Speaker 8: what the fuck hit.
- 41:50Speaker 3: That guy yeah really she was like one of the
- 41:52Speaker 3: smartest characters in the movie i know way smarter than
- 41:54Speaker 3: the girl who uh went to mit for bioengineering yeah.
- 41:59Speaker 4: That's sad oh and she didn't even wear.
- 42:02Speaker 9: Glasses i don't know Or she didn't have her hair
- 42:05Speaker 9: up or look nerdy at all.
- 42:06Speaker 4: She spent the entire movie in a bikini, for God's sake.
- 42:09Speaker 4: She's the smartest character we have. And he belittles her
- 42:12Speaker 4: the entire time.
- 42:14Speaker 2: Nice.
- 42:14Speaker 3: You're hot. You must be really dumb.
- 42:16Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 42:17Speaker 3: I like to tell myself that about really hot girls
- 42:19Speaker 3: just to make myself feel better.
- 42:20Speaker 6: Well, yeah, but that doesn't get my real life.
- 42:24Speaker 3: It's usually true, though.
- 42:26Speaker 4: We have Corman's cameo.
- 42:28Speaker 3: That was pretty fucking awesome.
- 42:29Speaker 9: I like how he bites on the coin.
- 42:31Speaker 10: I don't know.
- 42:31Speaker 9: I'm like, dude, that's been on the ground.
- 42:33Speaker 3: That's been dirty. Why don't you take the fucking metal
- 42:35Speaker 3: detector if you care so much about coins?
- 42:37Speaker 8: I mean.
- 42:38Speaker 9: I don't know. Back from the dead. Back from the dead?
- 42:43Speaker 14: He has been ripped.
- 42:44Speaker 3: I spit him up!
- 42:46Speaker 9: We told everybody he got eaten by a sharktopus.
- 42:50Speaker 4: The sharktopus threw you back up.
- 42:52Speaker 14: I'm going to have to borrow a sharktopus.
- 42:56Speaker 3: It's too late now.
- 42:57Speaker 4: No!
- 42:59Speaker 3: But for my own personal edification.
- 43:03Speaker 4: That's empty. Welcome back being spit up by a sharktopus. Yes,
- 43:07Speaker 4: it was excellent. Fishy, gooey, slimy.
- 43:11Speaker 3: Did you eat any of his inside scrapings?
- 43:13Speaker 4: I did.
- 43:13Speaker 14: I think that's what set me off. I think he
- 43:16Speaker 14: ate a burger that was made from rancid meat or
- 43:20Speaker 14: something that was more re-rancid because of his stomach juices
- 43:23Speaker 14: and pepsin.
- 43:25Speaker 8: That'll do it.
- 43:25Speaker 4: That makes any sense, which it probably doesn't.
- 43:28Speaker 3: None of the shows made any sense thus far. Okay, sweet.
- 43:32Speaker 4: What I want to know is, cramming two animals together,
- 43:34Speaker 4: which one has spikes? I guess a squid does. But
- 43:39Speaker 4: there's no squid involved.
- 43:41Speaker 14: No, octopuses don't have spikes on their tentacles.
- 43:45Speaker 4: Squids do. I'm talking about the ones sticking out of
- 43:47Speaker 4: the side of it.
- 43:48Speaker 3: You mean the gills?
- 43:49Speaker 4: No, like the big spines.
- 43:50Speaker 3: Yeah, he had big spikes like porcupine quills.
- 43:53Speaker 4: What the hell were those?
- 43:54Speaker 9: He's a sharkupine.
- 43:56Speaker 3: Sharkupine.
- 43:57Speaker 15: Sharkupine.
- 43:58Speaker 3: Sharkupine.
- 44:01Speaker 13: Oh, God.
- 44:02Speaker 4: I don't know. I'm like, everything else makes sense. It's like, yep, yep, shark, octopus. Okay,
- 44:06Speaker 4: I said, wait, what? They may have had to have
- 44:08Speaker 4: eaten Chris Pine to be a shark.
- 44:10Speaker 8: I'm sorry.
- 44:11Speaker 4: Well, maybe he's genetically.
- 44:13Speaker 3: Did you see him while you were in there?
- 44:14Speaker 4: He's genetically engineered with Chris Pine. His eyes were not blue.
- 44:20Speaker 3: I want a shark pint on my very own.
- 44:22Speaker 4: They were black and dead like my third wife.
- 44:24Speaker 3: That was awesome.
- 44:25Speaker 9: That was a great line right there.
- 44:27Speaker 6: Like a shark's eyes.
- 44:28Speaker 4: Like a doll's eyes.
- 44:29Speaker 3: Like a doll's eyes.
- 44:31Speaker 4: Wait, that's from a really good movie. It bites down
- 44:33Speaker 4: and you have the dives roll over right. Oh, man.
- 44:38Speaker 2: What else?
- 44:38Speaker 4: We should watch Jaws, actually.
- 44:40Speaker 6: The funny thing was, I was actually doing Master of Disguise.
- 44:44Speaker 3: Oh, really?
- 44:45Speaker 4: I don't think we can talk anymore.
- 44:47Speaker 3: Because I've never seen it. Really? Oh, we're totally watching Jaws.
- 44:51Speaker 9: No, we're not.
- 44:51Speaker 4: Master of Disguise.
- 44:53Speaker 3: But not Jaws.
- 44:54Speaker 14: What part were they talking about a doll's eyes?
- 44:56Speaker 4: That makes me die a little inside.
- 44:58Speaker 14: So you were referencing a movie that was referencing another movie,
- 45:01Speaker 14: but not the actual movie that was being referenced.
- 45:04Speaker 4: That happens.
- 45:05Speaker 6: That happens all the time.
- 45:06Speaker 3: Well, the other day I heard this lady say, I
- 45:09Speaker 3: don't know nothing about birthing no babies. And Jessica used
- 45:12Speaker 3: to say that all the time before she did birth
- 45:14Speaker 3: a baby. And my boss had to explain to me
- 45:16Speaker 3: that it's from Gone with the Wind. I was like, oh.
- 45:19Speaker 4: Oh okay those kind yeah sometimes that's an old school
- 45:22Speaker 4: reference sometimes they just get said and people hear them
- 45:25Speaker 4: so much they don't even know that it's a quote
- 45:28Speaker 4: or anything it's just like a saying to them but
- 45:30Speaker 4: no there's other times where at this point we've gotten
- 45:32Speaker 4: so self-referential that yeah movies will quote another movie and
- 45:37Speaker 4: then you'll be quoting.
- 45:38Speaker 14: That i feel bad for our kids nowadays kids people
- 45:41Speaker 14: nowadays that only see the movie and like that's where
- 45:44Speaker 14: it originally came from you're like actually.
- 45:47Speaker 5: No or they watch glee and they're like oh my
- 45:49Speaker 5: god i love these new original songs.
- 45:51Speaker 8: These are so amazing who's elton john.
- 45:55Speaker 14: What is it what they say that the uh the
- 45:57Speaker 14: jay-z you know new york song yeah is the most
- 46:00Speaker 14: downloaded itunes song ever but the glee version not the
- 46:04Speaker 14: original the glee version is the most.
- 46:06Speaker 4: Awesome that's way to stick it.
- 46:08Speaker 3: It's funny because when i first started watching the show
- 46:12Speaker 3: anytime i like a show i'm like i have to
- 46:14Speaker 3: watch it religiously or it'll get canceled because like me
- 46:17Speaker 3: watching it i think it's gonna like you'll save it
- 46:19Speaker 3: yeah And I felt like that at first with Glee,
- 46:22Speaker 3: but now it's like a fucking monstrosity. I'm like, I
- 46:24Speaker 3: don't have to watch this fucking show.
- 46:27Speaker 9: As soon as I start watching something, it's going.
- 46:29Speaker 4: To get canceled.
- 46:30Speaker 10: Anymore, you can almost wait and give it a couple
- 46:33Speaker 10: seasons and see, because now you can go back and
- 46:35Speaker 10: watch the whole season on DVD. Because back in the day,
- 46:39Speaker 10: it's like, oh, that looks awesome, and you miss it,
- 46:41Speaker 10: you're fucked. It's like, maybe you catch one on rerun.
- 46:44Speaker 10: But yeah, now you can just go back and catch
- 46:46Speaker 10: up when you know it's going to be around for
- 46:47Speaker 10: more than a season.
- 46:49Speaker 9: Except for the opposite sex. I can't find that one.
- 46:52Speaker 10: Because it only made it one season, wasn't it? I
- 46:56Speaker 10: don't even know if it got a full season. It
- 46:58Speaker 10: was an interesting show.
- 46:59Speaker 4: I liked it.
- 47:00Speaker 8: Oh, man. I wonder what was up with that fucking
- 47:01Speaker 8: stupid kid at the beginning getting ready to pick up
- 47:03Speaker 8: bird shit.
- 47:05Speaker 6: He's just wandering around like a little toddler and he
- 47:07Speaker 6: looks down.
- 47:08Speaker 4: And he's like, oh, yay!
- 47:09Speaker 3: That's what they have to play with in Mexico.
- 47:11Speaker 4: That was the Montajo Mexico poor kids play with poor
- 47:16Speaker 4: kids they need.
- 47:17Speaker 10: To get some toys I thought they had ball in
- 47:20Speaker 10: a cup ball in.
- 47:22Speaker 4: A cup come on man.
- 47:24Speaker 5: It's great because you can't lose your ball because it's
- 47:26Speaker 5: attached to a string I want it I want it.
- 47:29Speaker 4: Don't worry about what's in my cup because it's in
- 47:31Speaker 4: my cup it's.
- 47:32Speaker 9: In my cup God I love you little Wayne if
- 47:35Speaker 9: you're listening.
- 47:40Speaker 3: Okay, okay.
- 47:41Speaker 14: We talked about this.
- 47:45Speaker 6: Where are we?
- 47:46Speaker 3: Have we even talked about this?
- 47:48Speaker 4: I'm not sure. I don't think so.
- 47:50Speaker 8: We talked about the god-awful main character. The daughter with
- 47:54Speaker 8: her fucking, look at me, I'm a nerd, hot glass.
- 47:57Speaker 3: Don't call me pumpkin, Dad.
- 47:58Speaker 4: Oh, God.
- 47:59Speaker 6: What did I tell you about it? She said that
- 48:00Speaker 6: one more time.
- 48:01Speaker 3: I'm a girl, I'm a woman now.
- 48:03Speaker 9: I mean, seriously, didn't we all know what the password
- 48:06Speaker 9: was before she did?
- 48:07Speaker 12: Yes.
- 48:07Speaker 3: What was it, pumpkin?
- 48:08Speaker 6: Yes.
- 48:09Speaker 8: Oh, shit.
- 48:09Speaker 4: You weren't even there. Oh, my God.
- 48:11Speaker 3: And she goes, oh, Dad. After he's done died horribly.
- 48:15Speaker 3: I know. Did he get bitten half or anything?
- 48:17Speaker 14: Shocked him but slit his throat.
- 48:19Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 48:20Speaker 9: Ruined that for everybody who.
- 48:21Speaker 3: Hasn't seen it.
- 48:21Speaker 8: Sorry.
- 48:22Speaker 4: Oh, he had a spoiler alert.
- 48:24Speaker 10: I know Eskimo was talking about he was surprised that
- 48:27Speaker 10: Corman didn't direct it, but I thought he'd heard that too,
- 48:30Speaker 10: because yeah, he hasn't really directed anything. Aside from that
- 48:33Speaker 10: one movie, he hasn't directed a movie in like 40 years.
- 48:36Speaker 10: With the one exception thrown in the middle there. It's
- 48:39Speaker 10: been a long time, so... He's nothing but producing.
- 48:42Speaker 4: At this point.
- 48:43Speaker 3: And acting. Yeah, it was awesome.
- 48:45Speaker 8: Look at that dirty old man wandering out there on
- 48:47Speaker 8: the beach. He's checking out that girl's ass.
- 48:50Speaker 4: He got a piece of eight out of it or
- 48:52Speaker 4: a doubloon or something. Yeah, that was pretty awesome.
- 48:54Speaker 3: But he put it in his mouth. I'm like, really?
- 48:56Speaker 3: That's dirty.
- 48:57Speaker 9: It's been on the beach.
- 49:00Speaker 8: That girl who just got eaten, she was fondling it.
- 49:03Speaker 8: You don't know where her hands have been, what she's
- 49:05Speaker 8: been doing.
- 49:05Speaker 6: I like how he watched her die and then just
- 49:08Speaker 6: picked up the gold.
- 49:09Speaker 8: Oh, yeah.
- 49:09Speaker 4: He was waiting for her to get carried away.
- 49:12Speaker 3: Whatever. Got you, bitch. Got you, bitch. It should be mine.
- 49:19Speaker 10: Our other comment from this one was on twitter from
- 49:24Speaker 10: anything horror said overall fun but it kind of felt
- 49:26Speaker 10: like the.
- 49:27Speaker 4: Whole project was very rushed I can kind of agree
- 49:30Speaker 4: but to me not more than any other sci-fi.
- 49:33Speaker 14: Movie it's still sci-fi quality yeah it's not really CG
- 49:38Speaker 14: I mean Meshing between CG and real life is terrible
- 49:41Speaker 14: as always.
- 49:42Speaker 4: There's moments when it was good. That was the thing
- 49:44Speaker 4: with the CG. There's some of the stuff, especially the
- 49:47Speaker 4: more distant shots.
- 49:49Speaker 10: The one of the shadow of him swimming underwater was
- 49:51Speaker 10: kind of cool.
- 49:53Speaker 4: But then.
- 49:54Speaker 9: It's all better when you can't really see it.
- 49:56Speaker 4: Yeah, when they get closer.
- 49:57Speaker 10: When he comes up on the beach, I was like,
- 49:59Speaker 10: oh wow, Sharktopus is my new favorite Saturday morning cartoon character.
- 50:03Speaker 3: Seriously, I didn't.
- 50:04Speaker 8: Bother to put any texture or And you kind of like,
- 50:07Speaker 8: you just look like he was made out of like
- 50:09Speaker 8: a sculpey or something.
- 50:10Speaker 3: Like, but it's shiny.
- 50:11Speaker 9: Like, like silly putty.
- 50:13Speaker 3: Like the silly, stretchy, shiny kind of material.
- 50:15Speaker 10: But some of them really were like cartoon characters. Like,
- 50:18Speaker 10: like you're watching Roger Rabbit and they slapped a cartoon
- 50:21Speaker 10: character in the middle of a live action.
- 50:23Speaker 3: I love Roger Rabbit. What's that got to do with shit?
- 50:26Speaker 9: You just said Roger Rabbit.
- 50:27Speaker 4: I know, but I'm saying. You brought it up.
- 50:29Speaker 3: It's like a live action.
- 50:32Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 50:33Speaker 9: You brought this on yourself. I don't know what you're saying.
- 50:36Speaker 14: I agree.
- 50:37Speaker 3: I know exactly what you're saying. I was. I was
- 50:38Speaker 3: following it through.
- 50:39Speaker 14: Well, it's like just put one more, you know, because
- 50:42Speaker 14: with CG and stuff, how cheap and easy it is nowadays.
- 50:45Speaker 14: But still, it doesn't matter if you have lazy, you know,
- 50:48Speaker 14: computer guys that just put one texture map on the
- 50:52Speaker 14: whole thing.
- 50:53Speaker 4: You don't do anything else with it.
- 50:54Speaker 3: It's like.
- 50:55Speaker 14: Take some time to, like, put shadows and this, that,
- 50:58Speaker 14: and the other thing.
- 50:58Speaker 4: I think it's just money, really. They have $ 4 to
- 51:02Speaker 4: make these, and they realize it.
- 51:03Speaker 14: Well, maybe they should not make so many damn, damn
- 51:05Speaker 14: many of them and just have, like, a couple good ones.
- 51:07Speaker 4: I'd get behind that. If they can make, you know,
- 51:09Speaker 4: three or four a year instead of, like, ten.
- 51:11Speaker 1: Thirty.
- 51:11Speaker 4: You know, it's, yeah, it'd be a lot better for
- 51:13Speaker 4: all of us. Chimera versus....
- 51:16Speaker 7: Although we do want to see what's the crazy wolf
- 51:19Speaker 7: one monster wolf we're already kind of sold on monster
- 51:23Speaker 7: wolf on the commercial it sounds pretty tight I wonder
- 51:26Speaker 7: if it's.
- 51:27Speaker 5: Going to have like the old Indian guy because normally
- 51:30Speaker 5: when there's wolves there's Indians.
- 51:32Speaker 14: Around somewhere usually yeah the old shaman that tells them
- 51:35Speaker 14: the tale there.
- 51:36Speaker 3: Would be a white guy dressed up acting like.
- 51:38Speaker 6: An Indian right with a horrible accent there would.
- 51:40Speaker 8: Be Sam Elliott I'm okay with that.
- 51:43Speaker 4: Can't afford real Indians come on man Or Mogwai.
- 51:46Speaker 3: Let's be fair, there's not really that many real Indians
- 51:49Speaker 3: around anymore.
- 51:50Speaker 4: The hell are you saying?
- 51:52Speaker 3: That's when Mohicans got to play Mogwai.
- 51:55Speaker 4: Isn't that Gremlins?
- 51:56Speaker 14: No, no, no, no.
- 51:59Speaker 4: Daniel Day-Lewis?
- 52:01Speaker 11: No, no, no.
- 52:02Speaker 3: Didn't we do that last week? We did it earlier
- 52:05Speaker 3: in the show, too.
- 52:06Speaker 14: The Indian that betrayed them all or whatever with the
- 52:08Speaker 14: bad skin.
- 52:09Speaker 4: Danny Trejo?
- 52:09Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 52:12Speaker 14: His skin is bad like Danny Trejo. Well, I'm going
- 52:14Speaker 14: to find this out, Damon. Mogwa understand English very much.
- 52:17Speaker 12: Yeah, I'm pretty sure Mogwa is definitely a.
- 52:21Speaker 1: Mogwa.
- 52:23Speaker 4: I want a Mogwa.
- 52:25Speaker 9: Just don't feed him after midnight.
- 52:26Speaker 4: Get him wet.
- 52:28Speaker 9: I don't know.
- 52:28Speaker 3: I kind of want to get him wet.
- 52:29Speaker 9: I want a whole little tribe of them.
- 52:30Speaker 3: They'd be cute. Cuddle with them.
- 52:32Speaker 6: After they kill you and eat your entrails.
- 52:34Speaker 9: I just wouldn't feed.
- 52:34Speaker 3: Them after midnight.
- 52:35Speaker 9: I wouldn't feed them at all. I'll feed stuff.
- 52:37Speaker 4: Your Mogwai would die. Starvation Mogwai.
- 52:41Speaker 6: Your Mogwai's probably like, meh.
- 52:43Speaker 3: Tight keep them in check.
- 52:45Speaker 10: So yeah, I referenced him earlier, but yeah. By the
- 52:48Speaker 10: end of this, there's some tentacle fighting that.
- 52:50Speaker 4: Would make Ed Wood proud. wow they tried to avoid
- 52:56Speaker 4: that in the beginning it was a lot of like
- 52:58Speaker 4: water kills and quick cuts but by the end when
- 53:00Speaker 4: he's up like in the on the beach or on
- 53:03Speaker 4: the on that the dance party oh god was there
- 53:06Speaker 4: a dance party yeah you don't remember yeah that one
- 53:10Speaker 4: wasn't as bad though it was towards the end like
- 53:12Speaker 4: the eric roberts area there where he was up on
- 53:14Speaker 4: that little uh balcony thing that was bad there was
- 53:18Speaker 4: some bad fighting with tentacles especially when it's fighting with
- 53:21Speaker 4: tentacles that aren't even there Those are pretty rough.
- 53:25Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 53:26Speaker 4: Fights with tentacles. That's your Indian name.
- 53:29Speaker 3: One fights with tentacles.
- 53:35Speaker 4: Other than calling them out for that camcorder, I think.
- 53:38Speaker 8: Yeah, seriously, does anybody really use a camcorder that fucking day?
- 53:42Speaker 4: I mean, really, what?
- 53:43Speaker 10: Because they were supposed to be like knockoff CNN, weren't they?
- 53:45Speaker 4: Yeah, they were.
- 53:48Speaker 8: And what's the point of having all their footage if
- 53:50Speaker 8: when they're showing them on the news, they're not using
- 53:52Speaker 8: their footage, they're just using a still of her while
- 53:54Speaker 8: she's talking.
- 53:54Speaker 4: I told you, the real world version is they hadn't
- 53:56Speaker 4: done the bad CGI yet. They were shooting those scenes
- 53:59Speaker 4: six months before. But, yeah, it is retarded that they're
- 54:03Speaker 4: talking about the footage that they're not showing on the screen.
- 54:06Speaker 4: And then, yeah, I mean, what professional news operation uses
- 54:10Speaker 4: a camcorder from 1991?
- 54:11Speaker 9: My grandma has that video camera.
- 54:16Speaker 10: Yeah, I don't even think they make anything like that,
- 54:19Speaker 10: and it wasn't really hooked to anything, and he never
- 54:21Speaker 10: recharged the battery.
- 54:22Speaker 4: Those batteries don't last long. Why did she look.
- 54:24Speaker 5: Like a really cheap Mexican prostitute?
- 54:28Speaker 4: Because she was really cheap.
- 54:29Speaker 3: She's a raging bitch.
- 54:30Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't know about prostitutes.
- 54:32Speaker 3: I could not wait for her to die.
- 54:34Speaker 4: Oh, this is a chick that had to get the
- 54:35Speaker 4: story or whatever.
- 54:36Speaker 7: Oh, yeah.
- 54:36Speaker 9: And why did she have to hussy herself up first?
- 54:39Speaker 5: I mean, it's right for the old fisherman guy.
- 54:43Speaker 4: Well, I mean, really, if she was talented, they would
- 54:45Speaker 4: stand up and dance. I mean, come on. She's just
- 54:48Speaker 4: kind of lame is what she is, right?
- 54:50Speaker 9: Elvira can make him dance.
- 54:51Speaker 4: Damn straight. See, not Elvira. She's a talented woman. Shake
- 54:55Speaker 4: it like a soul shaker. That woman, not so much.
- 54:58Speaker 3: Get low. Get low. Shake it like a Polaroid picture.
- 55:03Speaker 3: Shake it like a Polaroid picture.
- 55:06Speaker 14: Oh, Lord.
- 55:07Speaker 4: So, yeah. Sharktopus. Kind of fun. Kind of a mess.
- 55:13Speaker 9: Like this whole show has been a mess.
- 55:15Speaker 4: Like the front of my shirt was a mess. If
- 55:18Speaker 4: you like the.
- 55:19Speaker 10: Kills and the Sharktopus monster, it's worth watching.
- 55:22Speaker 3: And the Sharktopus song.
- 55:24Speaker 4: The Sharktopus song is awesome.
- 55:27Speaker 3: Is it me, or were they covering an Iggy Pop song,
- 55:30Speaker 3: or was it just meant to sound like it? Did
- 55:32Speaker 3: you notice that?
- 55:33Speaker 6: They covered a lot of weird songs in there.
- 55:35Speaker 4: Yeah, what was the Stolen Santana song?
- 55:37Speaker 6: The Rock Thomas Santana?
- 55:38Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 55:38Speaker 8: I love you some Cheetah Horse.
- 55:41Speaker 3: It sounded... I can't remember what song it is now
- 55:43Speaker 3: because I'm really tired, but I swear it was like
- 55:45Speaker 3: an Iggy Pop song or it was meant to sound
- 55:47Speaker 3: like an Iggy Pop song. Probably was.
- 55:49Speaker 4: They probably just recorded it with a couple of notes
- 55:52Speaker 4: off so they didn't have to pay anybody. That's kind
- 55:54Speaker 4: of what the Santana one sounded like. It's like they
- 55:56Speaker 4: changed it just enough that I don't think they'll get sued.
- 55:59Speaker 4: But at the same time, I'm kind of like, that
- 56:01Speaker 4: sounds exactly like Smooth. What the hell? So, yeah, the
- 56:05Speaker 4: music is kind of weird. But that band's awesome. Cheetah Horse, right?
- 56:09Speaker 3: The Cheetah Horse.
- 56:10Speaker 4: We're going to be playing as much of them as
- 56:12Speaker 4: we can.
- 56:13Speaker 3: Are they a real band?
- 56:14Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 56:14Speaker 9: I hope so.
- 56:15Speaker 6: Good.
- 56:16Speaker 4: But otherwise, anything else you want to add on Sharktopus?
- 56:20Speaker 8: No.
- 56:21Speaker 3: See, I covered all the basics.
- 56:23Speaker 9: The kid playing with poop. The guy's Sharpie tattoos. Oh,
- 56:26Speaker 9: the annoying kid at the end.
- 56:28Speaker 6: I hated that kid.
- 56:29Speaker 5: I'm just going to sit here and let him eat me, kid.
- 56:31Speaker 9: What the fuck?
- 56:34Speaker 8: No, what's the thing? I felt more satisfied then. He
- 56:38Speaker 8: just sat there and cried like.
- 56:39Speaker 3: A little bitch. He wasn't even like a little bitty kid,
- 56:41Speaker 3: like a toddler.
- 56:42Speaker 8: He was like as big as his mom was. Seriously,
- 56:45Speaker 8: he just sat there crying. I wanted to beat her
- 56:48Speaker 8: in the fucking face, too.
- 56:49Speaker 3: She just sat there.
- 56:50Speaker 4: My son, my son.
- 56:52Speaker 3: Fucking get him, you dumb crybaby.
- 56:54Speaker 4: That's what I'm saying. What kind of mother are you?
- 56:56Speaker 4: If you cared about that kid, go get him.
- 56:57Speaker 14: These are the people that are not proactive when it
- 57:00Speaker 14: comes to saving their own life or their child's life.
- 57:03Speaker 14: The rock is falling from 30 stories up.
- 57:07Speaker 3: Move out of the way.
- 57:08Speaker 4: Throw your hands in the air and scream a lot.
- 57:12Speaker 4: We're in Mexico, but I do like to do that.
- 57:15Speaker 4: What are you basing that on?
- 57:17Speaker 9: And I'm the one who gets hate mail. But hey,
- 57:21Speaker 9: it's fact, you know, the famous channel.
- 57:25Speaker 3: It's fact.
- 57:26Speaker 6: Fiestas.
- 57:27Speaker 3: Tequila.
- 57:30Speaker 9: Ooh, is it getting hot.
- 57:31Speaker 6: In here or is it just me?
- 57:32Speaker 4: Fiesta like you just don't care.
- 57:34Speaker 9: I'm going to go back to coloring.
- 57:37Speaker 3: Sharktopus has got you.
- 57:41Speaker 4: So with that, I guess we can round out Sharktopus here.
- 57:44Speaker 4: Or let Jay. By letting Jay tell us what he thinks.
- 57:47Speaker 10: So as we take a break here, we will let
- 57:50Speaker 10: Jay tell us his thoughts on Sharktopus.
- 57:54Speaker 13: Holy shit, Sharktopus. Oh, my God. What could be any
- 57:57Speaker 13: more awesome? A half shark, half octopus. Octoshark. Whatever the
- 58:02Speaker 13: hell you want to call it. What a fucking movie, man. Oh, jeez.
- 58:07Speaker 13: Sci-fi movie.
- 58:08Speaker 8: Great.
- 58:09Speaker 13: Fun. Tons of entertainment. Better than Clash of the Titans,
- 58:12Speaker 13: I'll tell you. At least the CG was better. The
- 58:14Speaker 13: acting was pretty horrible in this movie. I think... Jeez,
- 58:20Speaker 13: how do you describe this movie? It's just a lot
- 58:23Speaker 13: of girls in bikinis and people shooting at a damn shark.
- 58:25Speaker 13: The puss is eating everybody. The death scenes were... They
- 58:31Speaker 13: were okay. They were something. They were funny, at least.
- 58:38Speaker 13: Good Lord. What a train wreck of a movie. It
- 58:41Speaker 13: was fun, though. It was lots of fun. The hero
- 58:45Speaker 13: was a complete douchebag. Really, you're going to get this guy?
- 58:48Speaker 13: This is your hero for the movie? What did they
- 58:52Speaker 13: pull this guy out of, like The Gap or something? Uh,
- 58:55Speaker 13: he's supposed to be a Navy SEAL? Jeez, this guy
- 58:57Speaker 13: couldn't hit anything. Uh, he's got that submachine gun he
- 59:00Speaker 13: fires off God knows how many rounds. I don't think he,
- 59:03Speaker 13: does he ever reload in this movie? doesn't hit anything
- 59:07Speaker 13: he's like point blank range I mean come on man
- 59:10Speaker 13: if you're gonna go hunt a shark to push are
- 59:12Speaker 13: you gonna take a 9mm really that's what you're gonna
- 59:15Speaker 13: take a 9mm submachine gun why not an AK-47 you
- 59:18Speaker 13: know why not something big like a Browning automatic rifle
- 59:21Speaker 13: something like that something good something big you know not
- 59:24Speaker 13: some wimpy little MP5 but you know I don't know
- 59:29Speaker 13: uh Geez. Yeah, everybody in this movie dies. I guess
- 59:33Speaker 13: it takes everybody in this movie to die before they
- 59:35Speaker 13: finally get pissed off and decide he's going to kill
- 59:37Speaker 13: this damn thing. Other than that, they just want to
- 59:40Speaker 13: capture it and bring it back alive or whatever, you know,
- 59:43Speaker 13: because it's the government. They don't want to ever really
- 59:45Speaker 13: destroy any of their stuff, but.
- 59:48Speaker 4: Jeez.
- 59:49Speaker 13: Oh, good Lord. I don't know. The camera guy jacked
- 59:52Speaker 13: up teeth. That's all I got to say. Jacked up
- 59:54Speaker 13: teeth and Sharpie tattoos. Those tattoos were awful. I don't
- 59:57Speaker 13: know who drew those on at the last minute, but
- 59:59Speaker 13: I think I could have drawn a better job. He
- 1:00:00Speaker 13: looked like he had about 1,600 spring break mistakes done
- 1:00:03Speaker 13: on his skin, you know? One too many times in
- 1:00:07Speaker 13: Daytona Beach. But, uh, Gee, with the reporter. Yeah, what
- 1:00:13Speaker 13: kind of reporter is that? She's got to show her
- 1:00:14Speaker 13: boobs to get a story, you know? What a slut.
- 1:00:19Speaker 13: The crusty old sea captain guy. Kind of reminds me
- 1:00:22Speaker 13: of this drunk guy I used to work with all
- 1:00:24Speaker 13: the time, except that he didn't get his head ripped off, so,
- 1:00:27Speaker 13: you know. Oh, well, I guess he fared out a
- 1:00:28Speaker 13: little bit better. Oh, geez. Good Lord. What a movie. Sharknepus.
- 1:00:36Speaker 13: That's all I got to say on this stupid thing.
- 1:00:38Speaker 13: I can't think of anything else because everything's probably going
- 1:00:42Speaker 13: to be said at the podcast. But as far as
- 1:00:44Speaker 13: my review on it, fun movie. Great time by all.
- 1:00:48Speaker 13: Probably one of those movies you want to get drunk
- 1:00:50Speaker 13: with your friends and just sit around and laugh. You
- 1:00:52Speaker 13: could probably make a drinking game out of it. Like
- 1:00:54Speaker 13: every time you see Shark the Push, you take a drink.
- 1:00:56Speaker 13: Or every time the scene comes up in the cameraman's
- 1:01:00Speaker 13: jacked up teeth, you take a drink. Or every time
- 1:01:03Speaker 13: the dad calls his daughter Pumpkin, you take a drink.
- 1:01:06Speaker 13: And that's another thing. She doesn't really strike me as
- 1:01:08Speaker 13: much of a, you know, I don't know, whatever she is,
- 1:01:11Speaker 13: supposed to be some kind of genetic scientist or something
- 1:01:14Speaker 13: like that. She just kind of seemed like a whiny,
- 1:01:17Speaker 13: nerdy kid, you know, old blue emo. What's up with
- 1:01:20Speaker 13: all these emo people?
- 1:01:22Speaker 3: Whatever.
- 1:01:22Speaker 13: All right. I'll talk to you later.
- 1:01:24Speaker 8: Bye.
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: One minute left to top off the evening with a
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: treat from our snack bar.
- 1:01:39Speaker 13: Still time if you hurry.
- 1:01:41Speaker 9: Last call for refreshments, folks.
- 1:01:43Speaker 13: Go right this.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: Second to get something good to eat and drink to
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: enjoy now or during the rest of the show. Each year, 10,000
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: tourists visit Ocean Beach. This summer, Ocean Beach has attracted
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: something else. American International presents... Tentacles. It slept until man
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: disturbed it. Then it woke with a fury no man
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: could control, rising from the ocean floor to bring destruction
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: and death. Tentacles. A chilling tale of nature gone wild
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: as two of the sea's deadliest enemies fight to the death.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: Starring John Huston, Shelley Winters, Bo Hopkins, Claude Akins, and
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: Henry Fonda.
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: Tentacles.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: The most gripping suspense you will ever experience. Rated PG.
- 1:02:42Speaker 13: Podcasts. Podcasts.
- 1:02:46Speaker 15: This fall, you will be introduced to Palibur.com. Palibur.com is
- 1:02:55Speaker 15: your new home for all your favorite podcasts, blogs... and
- 1:02:59Speaker 15: your favorite internet personalities.
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: Palover.com.
- 1:03:02Speaker 4: That's P-A-L-A-V-E-R dot com.
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: Your first stop for all of your guilty pleasures.
- 1:03:08Speaker 13: That's part of your problem, you know.
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: You haven't seen enough movies. All of life's riddles are.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: Answered in the movies. And now, on with the show.
- 1:03:58Speaker 9: I feel a lot better right now, actually.
- 1:04:01Speaker 14: I'll just shut up.
- 1:04:07Speaker 4: Now. Shark to crack.
- 1:04:09Speaker 14: Yeah, he swallowed a drug dealer.
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: It was a meth.
- 1:04:14Speaker 14: I had to feast upon his flesh to survive for
- 1:04:18Speaker 14: those mere moments.
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: Wow.
- 1:04:20Speaker 8: Wow.
- 1:04:22Speaker 4: I said something about this being a train wreck. I
- 1:04:24Speaker 4: don't know what you're talking about.
- 1:04:26Speaker 3: Worst episode ever.
- 1:04:28Speaker 8: That's the most enthusiastic episode.
- 1:04:31Speaker 3: I agree.
- 1:04:34Speaker 4: All right, we are back, and we've got feedback. Yes.
- 1:04:38Speaker 3: That's good feedback.
- 1:04:39Speaker 4: Not just feedback, like epic feedback. Yeah, I don't know.
- 1:04:43Speaker 4: I've been waiting a long time for this. I don't
- 1:04:44Speaker 4: know if we're prepared for this one. It's late on us.
- 1:04:47Speaker 4: This one, we each get our own little moment in
- 1:04:49Speaker 4: the sun here.
- 1:04:49Speaker 9: Oh, jeez.
- 1:04:50Speaker 3: I'm not going to get called off for being a
- 1:04:51Speaker 3: bad person.
- 1:04:53Speaker 4: Kind of, yeah, but in an awesome way.
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: Kind of, yeah.
- 1:04:57Speaker 4: Oh, as always, we can count on Randy.
- 1:05:00Speaker 7: Randy.
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: Thank you, Randy.
- 1:05:03Speaker 9: I'll wait to say thanks until after I hear what
- 1:05:04Speaker 9: he says about me.
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: Do what?
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: I'll wait to say thanks until after I hear what
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: he says about me.
- 1:05:10Speaker 4: Okay, here we go.
- 1:05:11Speaker 11: Hey, everybody, it's Randy. I'm calling in to try and...
- 1:05:13Speaker 11: Help correct this non-call-in thing.
- 1:05:16Speaker 3: Because people might be shy.
- 1:05:17Speaker 11: They might not know the Meltdown crew like I know them.
- 1:05:21Speaker 11: Of course, I only know a few of them, and
- 1:05:22Speaker 11: I'll make up wild lies about the rest. Here's some
- 1:05:25Speaker 11: introductions to get to know your podcasters, starting with the ladies.
- 1:05:32Speaker 4: We'll start with Misty.
- 1:05:33Speaker 11: You know Misty.
- 1:05:34Speaker 3: You love her.
- 1:05:36Speaker 11: Sadly, I've always felt that Misty missed her calling. Somewhere,
- 1:05:40Speaker 11: an M1A1 Abrams main battle tank sits forlorn and empty.
- 1:05:44Speaker 11: The Abrams battle tank fires a 105mm shell with a
- 1:05:48Speaker 11: 3km range. If we could couple that with a loudspeaker
- 1:05:52Speaker 11: with the same range where Misty's special brand of observation
- 1:05:56Speaker 11: could come in just before or just after that shell lands, why,
- 1:06:00Speaker 11: it'd be a whole new era for diplomacy, wouldn't it?
- 1:06:03Speaker 11: If you're new and you haven't heard too much... Who's Misty? Well,
- 1:06:07Speaker 11: she's the one who makes cute and adorable statements like...
- 1:06:10Speaker 11: He's got molars like hams. I mean, how can he
- 1:06:13Speaker 11: fit anything in that mouth?
- 1:06:15Speaker 3: Or perhaps.
- 1:06:17Speaker 11: That child is ugly. Those ears on that kid you
- 1:06:19Speaker 11: could catch a softball with. She brings in the country
- 1:06:22Speaker 11: with the occasional... They'll get wandered off.
- 1:06:25Speaker 4: Kind of statement.
- 1:06:27Speaker 11: So now when you're listening, you'll know when you hear
- 1:06:28Speaker 11: one of those particular soul-destroying condemnations that just have managed
- 1:06:33Speaker 11: to somehow.
- 1:06:34Speaker 4: ferret out the.
- 1:06:35Speaker 11: Weakness of a person's character or upbringing that you're listening to, Misty!
- 1:06:42Speaker 4: And then there's Marlena! How can you.
- 1:06:45Speaker 11: Separate Marlena from the rest of the crowd? Well, whenever
- 1:06:48Speaker 11: one of those stories goes off that's absolutely insane and
- 1:06:51Speaker 11: a little bit frightening, that's Marlena! If you hear a
- 1:06:56Speaker 11: heartwarming tale that could at some point degenerate into felony
- 1:07:00Speaker 11: arrests for everyone involved but somehow doesn't? Now you're listening
- 1:07:03Speaker 11: to Marlena. If Brian had more time and he wasn't
- 1:07:06Speaker 11: so busy picking out songs that matched every episode, he
- 1:07:09Speaker 11: might be able to put in a Rod Serling intro
- 1:07:12Speaker 11: for every time Marlena says something about what happened to
- 1:07:15Speaker 11: her this week. She's a one-woman social X-file, and we
- 1:07:19Speaker 11: love her for it.
- 1:07:20Speaker 4: Meet Marlena! And then there's Joni.
- 1:07:25Speaker 11: She knows more about music than you'll ever know in
- 1:07:27Speaker 11: your life. She likes Christmas, puppies, anime, and not locking
- 1:07:32Speaker 11: her Facebook page. Okay, I think I just wound up
- 1:07:36Speaker 11: on the creepy side of things. Anyhow, there's Joanie!
- 1:07:42Speaker 4: Now, to the guy side of the field.
- 1:07:47Speaker 11: Next up is the unsung hero of the podcast. That
- 1:07:50Speaker 11: would be Jay. Some people might say that Jay has
- 1:07:53Speaker 11: an attendance problem. I'll tell you the truth. He's got
- 1:07:57Speaker 11: a real goddamn life. Jay has a job where in
- 1:08:00Speaker 11: the summertime, if he doesn't go in at 3 a.m.
- 1:08:02Speaker 11: in the morning, he'll friggin' die. You know how you
- 1:08:06Speaker 11: get on Facebook and you learn things about people? You go,
- 1:08:09Speaker 11: you look at photos of their dogs, something like that?
- 1:08:13Speaker 11: I went to Jay's and I saw a photo of
- 1:08:14Speaker 11: him beating another man and a collection of vintage hardcore motorcycles.
- 1:08:20Speaker 11: It pretty much gives you the impression... That he's a
- 1:08:22Speaker 11: one-man roaming crime spree just waiting to tee off on
- 1:08:26Speaker 11: somebody who pisses him off. Which I would suggest avoiding
- 1:08:30Speaker 11: at all costs. You might have heard them reference on
- 1:08:33Speaker 11: the podcast how Danny Trejo was trying to pull Jay
- 1:08:38Speaker 11: down so he wouldn't look tall.
- 1:08:40Speaker 8: Uh-uh.
- 1:08:40Speaker 11: I've looked at that photo. Danny Trejo looked afraid of him.
- 1:08:44Speaker 11: Jay is romantically linked to Misty, which means he's more
- 1:08:47Speaker 11: badass than any of us. I'd tell you more about Jay,
- 1:08:53Speaker 11: but I don't want to wind up on the wrong
- 1:08:54Speaker 11: side of him and get busted in the mouth at
- 1:08:56Speaker 11: the next Horror Hound weekend. Assuming he's right.
- 1:09:00Speaker 4: Life doesn't crush him there, too.
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: Meet Jay.
- 1:09:06Speaker 11: Next, we come to the stalwart, the main pillar of
- 1:09:09Speaker 11: the podcast, and that would be Roger. If nerds had
- 1:09:13Speaker 11: a king, we'd all bow down to Roger. You found
- 1:09:17Speaker 11: some new nifty bitchin' trailer for a movie nobody's ever
- 1:09:21Speaker 11: heard of yet? Don't tell Roger about it.
- 1:09:24Speaker 4: He already knows. In my mind, I.
- 1:09:27Speaker 11: Picture Roger as the type who'd pull over in the
- 1:09:29Speaker 11: rain to help somebody stuck on the side of the road. Sure,
- 1:09:32Speaker 11: they'll probably turn out to be a knife-wielding psychopath. But
- 1:09:37Speaker 11: I'll also tell you, I'm sure by the time he
- 1:09:39Speaker 11: reaches the next exit, he'll be wearing that psychopath's skin
- 1:09:42Speaker 11: like a suit. Why? Just cause. If you want to
- 1:09:49Speaker 11: know who'd win, the Starship Yamato or the Enterprise, Roger's
- 1:09:54Speaker 11: the guy you go to. It's the tragedy of our
- 1:09:57Speaker 11: lifetimes that there isn't a throne for him.
- 1:09:59Speaker 4: To sit on.
- 1:10:01Speaker 11: Well, other than that one.
- 1:10:05Speaker 4: Anyhow, meet Roger!
- 1:10:09Speaker 11: And now we come to the mastermind, the driving force
- 1:10:12Speaker 11: behind this podcast, and that would be Brian!
- 1:10:15Speaker 3: Brian!
- 1:10:18Speaker 11: The will and the obsession that drives Movie Meltdown. You
- 1:10:23Speaker 11: don't know Brian until you've been to a convention and
- 1:10:26Speaker 11: you've watched him angle his way towards his prey for
- 1:10:30Speaker 11: that interview. Why do you think he's the only guy
- 1:10:34Speaker 11: out there that got Roger Corman one-on-one? Because I think
- 1:10:37Speaker 11: on the back end of that microphone he's got a
- 1:10:39Speaker 11: real sharp thing, like a nail sticking out of it
- 1:10:43Speaker 11: where he says, you can have the mic end, Or
- 1:10:46Speaker 11: you can have the other end, but I sure want
- 1:10:48Speaker 11: to talk to you. He gets more interviews than anybody
- 1:10:52Speaker 11: else out there. And I never wonder why. When he
- 1:10:57Speaker 11: says he wants feedback, I'd suggest you get off your
- 1:11:00Speaker 11: ass before he comes to your house to get it.
- 1:11:02Speaker 4: That's Brian.
- 1:11:05Speaker 11: And lest I forget, there's Greg. Greg has a PhD
- 1:11:08Speaker 11: in nerdism. If you want to know who Godzilla roomed
- 1:11:12Speaker 11: with in college, you ask Greg. He's widely traveled and
- 1:11:17Speaker 11: even more widely read. And he'll kill you for looking
- 1:11:20Speaker 11: at him wrong.
- 1:11:21Speaker 2: Meet Greg.
- 1:11:27Speaker 11: Okay, now I've done my intros. Now you know who
- 1:11:31Speaker 11: these people are. Will you call them for Christ's sake
- 1:11:35Speaker 11: so I don't have to hear this week after week? Thanks.
- 1:11:40Speaker 4: Randy, out. He deserves anything free, swaggish that we have.
- 1:11:52Speaker 4: Look at me! He knows all about you, so you
- 1:12:00Speaker 4: don't have to worry about that.
- 1:12:01Speaker 5: You apparently know where I live.
- 1:12:06Speaker 4: If you want to have dinner, just let me know.
- 1:12:09Speaker 3: I'm sure Roger will be perfectly fine.
- 1:12:12Speaker 9: So mine was a compliment, right?
- 1:12:13Speaker 4: Oh, yeah. But now I'm scared of you.
- 1:12:17Speaker 3: Dude, we're all badass. Yeah.
- 1:12:21Speaker 4: It all comes down to perception, and I just love
- 1:12:23Speaker 4: how some people perceive us, I guess.
- 1:12:25Speaker 9: I like how Randy perceives us. Screw everybody else.
- 1:12:29Speaker 3: Everyone else is wrong.
- 1:12:31Speaker 9: Yeah, Randy's awesome.
- 1:12:32Speaker 4: Randy, my heart just grew three sizes.
- 1:12:35Speaker 6: He says his heart, but he means something else.
- 1:12:39Speaker 4: Either way, he really enjoyed it.
- 1:12:42Speaker 3: Thanks a lot.
- 1:12:43Speaker 4: Thank you. Yep, thank you.
- 1:12:46Speaker 10: And yeah, if we don't get anything else, I might
- 1:12:47Speaker 10: just play that every week because it's pretty damned awesome.
- 1:12:49Speaker 4: It's pretty awesome.
- 1:12:51Speaker 9: I want to hear it every week because my head
- 1:12:53Speaker 9: feels bigger.
- 1:12:53Speaker 4: Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
- 1:12:55Speaker 9: You might want to write in and tell me how
- 1:12:56Speaker 9: to lock up my Facebook page, by the way, Randy,
- 1:12:59Speaker 9: because I thought I did.
- 1:13:00Speaker 3: You may know how to crack it anyways.
- 1:13:03Speaker 4: He is a hacker.
- 1:13:04Speaker 9: I thought I had all that shit locked up.
- 1:13:05Speaker 4: Yeah, that's what you think.
- 1:13:07Speaker 3: Apparently not.
- 1:13:11Speaker 4: Oh, wow. So, yes. Epic, epic feedback.
- 1:13:14Speaker 13: Thank you, Randy.
- 1:13:15Speaker 4: Once again, pretty damn awesome.
- 1:13:18Speaker 9: That's why Randy's our favorite listener.
- 1:13:20Speaker 3: He's my favorite listener.
- 1:13:21Speaker 9: I don't know who all you're all. I'm picking favorites.
- 1:13:23Speaker 13: I don't care.
- 1:13:24Speaker 4: That doesn't surprise me either.
- 1:13:25Speaker 3: I'll pick favorites. Screw you guys.
- 1:13:29Speaker 9: Everybody wants to say they don't pick favorites, but.
- 1:13:30Speaker 3: They really do.
- 1:13:32Speaker 4: This is why you're not allowed to have children.
- 1:13:34Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 1:13:35Speaker 9: One of the many, many reasons.
- 1:13:37Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:13:40Speaker 4: But, yes, thank you once again. And, hey, everybody, feel
- 1:13:43Speaker 4: free to put together your own message and send it
- 1:13:46Speaker 4: to us. Call it in.
- 1:13:47Speaker 10: However you want to get it to us, keep sending
- 1:13:50Speaker 10: the feedback.
- 1:13:51Speaker 4: Otherwise, you have to deal with Randy at this point.
- 1:13:53Speaker 4: And Marlena, apparently.
- 1:13:55Speaker 3: I don't remember what my feedback was then.
- 1:13:59Speaker 4: Which one are we talking about?
- 1:14:01Speaker 6: Rod Sterling.
- 1:14:02Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 1:14:02Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah. That is my... Yep, that's how it is.
- 1:14:09Speaker 3: I didn't even go into the stories about what happened
- 1:14:11Speaker 3: to me this week, so.
- 1:14:13Speaker 4: They're probably.
- 1:14:14Speaker 9: We should have a Marlena moment this week.
- 1:14:17Speaker 3: This week in Marlena's life. I really... I know it's
- 1:14:23Speaker 3: really narcissistic, but I'm like, I really need a Twitter...
- 1:14:27Speaker 3: account just to upload all these hilarious moments that i
- 1:14:30Speaker 3: hear other hilarious things that i hear other people say
- 1:14:34Speaker 3: like i try to upload as many memorable quotes as
- 1:14:37Speaker 3: i possibly can on facebook but i feel like people
- 1:14:39Speaker 3: probably get tired and block me like yesterday i was
- 1:14:42Speaker 3: sitting at work and my boss overheard someone say vajayjay
- 1:14:46Speaker 3: he looks at him he said what the fuck oprah
- 1:14:49Speaker 3: i should punch you in your goddamn face for saying
- 1:14:51Speaker 3: that in my business wow that's.
- 1:14:55Speaker 9: A little uh Wow.
- 1:14:58Speaker 3: It was his friend, so it was okay. He was joking,
- 1:15:00Speaker 3: but it was still really funny.
- 1:15:01Speaker 4: I didn't think that was a censoring version. I thought
- 1:15:03Speaker 4: it was just because it was funny.
- 1:15:05Speaker 8: What?
- 1:15:06Speaker 4: The usage of vajayjay.
- 1:15:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:15:09Speaker 4: That's everybody I know that uses it just uses it
- 1:15:11Speaker 4: because it's funny.
- 1:15:12Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:15:12Speaker 4: I don't think we're like... I like vajixi.
- 1:15:14Speaker 8: Vajixi?
- 1:15:15Speaker 4: I don't think we're PG-13-ing ourselves.
- 1:15:18Speaker 6: Vajazzled.
- 1:15:18Speaker 4: Oh, God.
- 1:15:19Speaker 14: Is that with stones and rhinestones and stuff?
- 1:15:22Speaker 3: It's like a new trend.
- 1:15:23Speaker 4: Oh my god.
- 1:15:23Speaker 3: Does it hurt?
- 1:15:24Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 1:15:25Speaker 3: I think it's just glue.
- 1:15:26Speaker 4: No, I want to use that gun.
- 1:15:28Speaker 14: I got dink.
- 1:15:28Speaker 3: I got dink.
- 1:15:30Speaker 10: I got dink.
- 1:15:31Speaker 4: I fucking hurt, but look how cool it is.
- 1:15:33Speaker 9: Are they going to do an infomercial for that?
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: Oh, wait.
- 1:15:35Speaker 6: Do you like gin stuff?
- 1:15:38Speaker 14: Does your vajayjay need new life breathed into it?
- 1:15:42Speaker 3: It would be good to slap Chopka.
- 1:15:43Speaker 4: Oh my gross.
- 1:15:46Speaker 9: He'd beat the hooker after he BJJ'd her.
- 1:15:48Speaker 4: No, he'd get beat up by the hooker after.
- 1:15:50Speaker 3: She beat the shit out of her.
- 1:15:51Speaker 4: Or he, she, it.
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:15:54Speaker 4: Person.
- 1:15:55Speaker 9: They. Well, if it's a boy and a girl, can
- 1:15:58Speaker 9: you say they?
- 1:16:02Speaker 3: Together? And they is like... I mean, I don't know.
- 1:16:06Speaker 4: That's a big question there.
- 1:16:08Speaker 3: Let me know.
- 1:16:09Speaker 9: If you have answers out there, let us know.
- 1:16:10Speaker 4: Pose that out there, yeah.
- 1:16:11Speaker 3: I think only if they have multiple personalities.
- 1:16:14Speaker 5: Ooh.
- 1:16:15Speaker 9: I'm thinking if he had both parts, he'd probably have
- 1:16:17Speaker 9: a little bit of both in there.
- 1:16:20Speaker 10: Hey, if you're a schizophrenic and or an hermaphrodite, let
- 1:16:24Speaker 10: us know. We want to hear what your thoughts are.
- 1:16:26Speaker 4: Please, tell us.
- 1:16:28Speaker 9: It's purely scientific, and I don't mean to make fun
- 1:16:29Speaker 9: of you, if you are.
- 1:16:30Speaker 4: No, no, we need it.
- 1:16:32Speaker 9: But she would like pictures.
- 1:16:33Speaker 4: But she would.
- 1:16:34Speaker 8: Please.
- 1:16:35Speaker 4: Just post them straight to her Facebook page. You have
- 1:16:36Speaker 4: full access anyway. Just post them on up there.
- 1:16:39Speaker 6: You can tag anybody.
- 1:16:40Speaker 3: It's cool.
- 1:16:42Speaker 4: Tag your parts. Boy side, girl side.
- 1:16:45Speaker 3: Enter here.
- 1:16:47Speaker 9: And while you're on there, if you could check my
- 1:16:49Speaker 9: crops on City of Wonder, that'd be great. I love
- 1:16:52Speaker 9: that game.
- 1:16:52Speaker 3: I keep forgetting to play it.
- 1:16:54Speaker 4: You guys are those dorks.
- 1:16:56Speaker 2: I haven't got on it.
- 1:16:57Speaker 3: In such a long time. It's been a while.
- 1:17:03Speaker 4: I need to.
- 1:17:03Speaker 3: Yeah, I block all those applications.
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: Yeah, really.
- 1:17:05Speaker 3: No, City of Wonder is awesome.
- 1:17:06Speaker 9: Yeah, it's a lot.
- 1:17:07Speaker 3: Because it's like Caesar, which is my favorite game of
- 1:17:09Speaker 3: all time.
- 1:17:09Speaker 6: It's a lot of fun.
- 1:17:10Speaker 9: You just build this little thing and let them do
- 1:17:11Speaker 9: their little thing.
- 1:17:12Speaker 8: I know.
- 1:17:12Speaker 3: I cannot get into, like, any video game ever except
- 1:17:15Speaker 3: for Caesar 3 and Pharaoh.
- 1:17:18Speaker 8: I tried to do the Mafia thing on Facebook, but
- 1:17:20Speaker 8: then somebody, like, I stole my money and I.
- 1:17:22Speaker 9: Got upset, so I had to quit.
- 1:17:24Speaker 12: The mafia thing is dumb because you don't get to
- 1:17:26Speaker 12: walk around and actually interact, you just.
- 1:17:28Speaker 14: Just a space game, basically.
- 1:17:31Speaker 13: Or, yeah.
- 1:17:32Speaker 9: I didn't like it, somebody picked on me and stole
- 1:17:34Speaker 9: my stuff.
- 1:17:36Speaker 4: Yeah, see, that's why you need to be in the
- 1:17:37Speaker 4: actual mafia, because you would just kill that motherfucker. I know.
- 1:17:40Speaker 3: So then I don't want to hear show me your weapons.
- 1:17:43Speaker 9: I said I showed you my guns the other day.
- 1:17:45Speaker 3: Not just these.
- 1:17:46Speaker 4: Oh, you just missed the gun show, guys, at home.
- 1:17:50Speaker 9: Don't. Be shy, just let your.
- 1:17:54Speaker 3: Feelings roll on by.
- 1:17:57Speaker 2: Don't be shy. We'd like to hear from you. So
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: give us a call at 502-365-5565. Or you can email
- 1:18:04Speaker 2: us at geeksatmoviemeltdown.com. And just stop by the website for
- 1:18:08Speaker 2: our frequent updates. That's moviemeltdown.com.
- 1:18:12Speaker 8: On by, on by, on by, on by.
- 1:18:18Speaker 9: I think it was bad at work the other day.
- 1:18:19Speaker 5: I walked into the dining room, which was full of
- 1:18:21Speaker 5: AARP patrons. And I looked at one of our servers
- 1:18:27Speaker 5: and I said, I wonder how many bombs would have
- 1:18:29Speaker 5: to go off to make this place fall down right now.
- 1:18:32Speaker 6: And then we strategically mapped where we were going to
- 1:18:34Speaker 6: place them.
- 1:18:35Speaker 3: Like, minesweep.
- 1:18:37Speaker 4: I suck at Minesweep.
- 1:18:38Speaker 3: I do too. I don't even understand how to play it.
- 1:18:42Speaker 4: Or there's a government file that just opened on you
- 1:18:44Speaker 4: right now.
- 1:18:45Speaker 3: No, it was earlier when she was talking about.
- 1:18:46Speaker 10: That's true i was thinking you were pushing your luck
- 1:18:49Speaker 10: earlier when you threatened to bomb large buildings and take
- 1:18:52Speaker 10: out tons.
- 1:18:52Speaker 3: Of people with uh they're like trying to bomb the
- 1:18:55Speaker 3: discovery channel building yeah.
- 1:18:56Speaker 4: I believe they did where were you that day yeah I.
- 1:19:01Speaker 9: Can stand behind his beliefs, though.
- 1:19:03Speaker 3: You want him to quit showing stupid-ass shit?
- 1:19:06Speaker 9: Is that really what he was saying?
- 1:19:09Speaker 8: He wanted him to quit showing shows that glamorize having
- 1:19:13Speaker 8: babies and shit.
- 1:19:15Speaker 4: He's like, we're an overpopulation.
- 1:19:16Speaker 9: He wanted to have more shows informing people the benefits of...
- 1:19:23Speaker 9: contraceptive and shit.
- 1:19:25Speaker 4: We definitely can get behind that he wanted.
- 1:19:27Speaker 8: To tell people to not have kids instead of like
- 1:19:29Speaker 8: glamorizing fucking kate and fucking 48 kids or whatever i'm just.
- 1:19:34Speaker 6: Kidding america i don't want to blow up anything yet
- 1:19:37Speaker 6: keep pissing me off and we'll see though.
- 1:19:39Speaker 10: I got my tank apparently so uh nice you might
- 1:19:42Speaker 10: be able to rent that out to her I'm going
- 1:19:44Speaker 10: to get.
- 1:19:44Speaker 9: One from the National Guard. I'm going to get one
- 1:19:47Speaker 9: for time.
- 1:19:48Speaker 8: Hot wire.
- 1:19:48Speaker 6: Take her off to Misty and Joni to.
- 1:19:49Speaker 9: Go to the door.
- 1:19:50Speaker 4: It's a 120mm gun, not a 105.
- 1:19:51Speaker 10: So, Randy, do your work.
- 1:19:58Speaker 4: I don't think most of that came through too far away.
- 1:20:00Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:20:02Speaker 9: I'm right next to you and I can't understand what the.
- 1:20:04Speaker 3: Fuck is going on. There we go. Do we have
- 1:20:08Speaker 3: any more feedback?
- 1:20:09Speaker 4: Do we need more than that? We don't, no, actually.
- 1:20:13Speaker 14: That filled the deficit we've had for the past year.
- 1:20:15Speaker 11: And a half.
- 1:20:15Speaker 9: Hey, Randy, how about you add me as a friend, weirdo?
- 1:20:18Speaker 3: Yeah, jeez.
- 1:20:21Speaker 4: I think he likes stalking you a little better, actually.
- 1:20:24Speaker 3: He's my friend. He leaves me fun comments sometimes.
- 1:20:26Speaker 9: He doesn't leave me comments. I think you're his favorite now.
- 1:20:29Speaker 9: I'm not his favorite.
- 1:20:32Speaker 8: Well, now I'm the least attractive and the least funniest
- 1:20:34Speaker 8: girl on the show.
- 1:20:36Speaker 4: You have issues.
- 1:20:38Speaker 3: You have inferiority complex.
- 1:20:40Speaker 13: I do.
- 1:20:40Speaker 3: You're the most angry.
- 1:20:43Speaker 4: But how's your ego and head so big?
- 1:20:45Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 1:20:45Speaker 5: It's weird.
- 1:20:45Speaker 3: It's a contradiction. I have an inferiority complex. I can't
- 1:20:48Speaker 3: even talk.
- 1:20:49Speaker 8: Inferiority complex coupled with a superiority complex. So I feel
- 1:20:52Speaker 8: bad about myself, but I'm still better than everybody else.
- 1:20:54Speaker 4: I think we're all kind of on that boat. That's
- 1:20:57Speaker 4: how we get ourselves in trouble.
- 1:20:58Speaker 9: It's a strange, screwy complex.
- 1:21:01Speaker 3: No, I think the only reason he does that is
- 1:21:02Speaker 3: because I update. so often.
- 1:21:04Speaker 5: We're all narcissistic, otherwise we wouldn't be here. I just
- 1:21:07Speaker 5: like the hearing of my own voice. I don't really
- 1:21:09Speaker 5: care about you people at all.
- 1:21:10Speaker 12: I said the hearing of my own voice.
- 1:21:13Speaker 6: I'll do what I want. I'm Tony, goddammit.
- 1:21:16Speaker 4: I hate the.
- 1:21:16Speaker 3: Sound of my own voice, but I can't stop talking.
- 1:21:18Speaker 4: See, I figure that's what gets us in trouble every time.
- 1:21:22Speaker 4: That's why we're here.
- 1:21:24Speaker 10: If we weren't opinionated jackasses, we wouldn't be sitting in
- 1:21:26Speaker 10: front of a microphone.
- 1:21:28Speaker 3: Well, see, in a couple of months, I'm starting a
- 1:21:30Speaker 3: blog to document everything.
- 1:21:32Speaker 8: Nice.
- 1:21:33Speaker 3: It's not really going to be about me. It's just
- 1:21:34Speaker 3: going to be about stuff. About life in general. About
- 1:21:37Speaker 3: life in general. And I'm just like, wow.
- 1:21:41Speaker 4: This sounds like trouble.
- 1:21:42Speaker 6: I want to do a video blog.
- 1:21:43Speaker 9: Just day-to-day in my day-to-day life and then send it
- 1:21:46Speaker 9: to somebody and get rich and famous.
- 1:21:48Speaker 3: You can put it on YouTube has channels.
- 1:21:50Speaker 4: We still need to do like a promo for the
- 1:21:51Speaker 4: show video. I agree. Because they get 10 bajillion hits
- 1:21:54Speaker 4: and then we might actually get somebody out.
- 1:21:56Speaker 15: Yeah, right.
- 1:21:57Speaker 4: Who we can piss off and then they won't listen
- 1:21:58Speaker 4: to another episode. But we'll give them that first time.
- 1:22:02Speaker 3: Did I piss somebody off.
- 1:22:03Speaker 9: In that episode?
- 1:22:04Speaker 4: Um they originally he said he wasn't going to listen
- 1:22:07Speaker 4: anymore oh but then like today like but i left
- 1:22:11Speaker 4: him a a not a stupid message i left him
- 1:22:14Speaker 4: a real breakdown of why we did what we do
- 1:22:16Speaker 4: or why i set it up like that and then
- 1:22:18Speaker 4: he wrote back and was kind of like surprised that
- 1:22:19Speaker 4: i didn't he was that offended by my kind of
- 1:22:22Speaker 4: yeah and he's not ready he was just um displeased
- 1:22:28Speaker 4: with the way we uh mouthed off so What are
- 1:22:31Speaker 4: you going to do?
- 1:22:31Speaker 3: But if he's been listening to the show the whole time.
- 1:22:33Speaker 4: He hasn't, though. That's the thing. That was his first episode.
- 1:22:35Speaker 3: That was like.
- 1:22:36Speaker 4: That was his first. That's, yeah, harsh.
- 1:22:38Speaker 3: See, that's the thing.
- 1:22:39Speaker 10: I don't understand how to get people past the first
- 1:22:41Speaker 10: episode because the people that are at like 10 are
- 1:22:43Speaker 10: cool with it and they understand it.
- 1:22:45Speaker 4: But number one, I can. And that's what I said.
- 1:22:47Speaker 4: I was like, I can understand having a bad reaction.
- 1:22:50Speaker 2: We're very abrasive.
- 1:22:52Speaker 3: Definitely.
- 1:22:53Speaker 4: So it's like, okay, good.
- 1:22:54Speaker 14: Cause I was almost thinking that if it was somebody
- 1:22:56Speaker 14: who'd been a listener, that would make sense.
- 1:22:58Speaker 4: But yeah, if that was his first introduction.
- 1:23:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:23:01Speaker 4: Then I almost want to apologize.
- 1:23:02Speaker 9: Just tell everybody to go back and look for the
- 1:23:04Speaker 9: semi porn episode.
- 1:23:05Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:23:06Speaker 6: That's probably the best one to start on.
- 1:23:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:23:09Speaker 14: One of our older episodes is definitely a much easier
- 1:23:11Speaker 14: way to ease on.
- 1:23:12Speaker 4: Which one? Which episode is that?
- 1:23:15Speaker 2: That was Wonder Woman.
- 1:23:16Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:23:16Speaker 14: Wonder Woman.
- 1:23:17Speaker 3: Was I here for that one?
- 1:23:18Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:23:18Speaker 2: You were here for the movie.
- 1:23:19Speaker 9: It's the one that had Sid Hagen in it.
- 1:23:20Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:23:21Speaker 4: Did you fall asleep?
- 1:23:21Speaker 3: Yeah, I slept.
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: Nice.
- 1:23:23Speaker 9: And had sweet dreams about Sid Hagen and his fantastic mustache.
- 1:23:26Speaker 4: Don't try to be like me.
- 1:23:28Speaker 8: Maybe.
- 1:23:29Speaker 9: And you were dreaming about Sid Hagen and his fantastic mustache.
- 1:23:31Speaker 5: Yes.
- 1:23:32Speaker 3: I saw a Burt Reynolds toy yesterday at the flea market,
- 1:23:35Speaker 3: and I was like, I wish.
- 1:23:37Speaker 4: It was just a vibrator with a mustache on it. Yeah,
- 1:23:40Speaker 4: did it have an oscillating mustache?
- 1:23:43Speaker 3: I love that idea. Just kidding. It's like a propeller.
- 1:23:48Speaker 3: Oh my god, I'm marketing now.
- 1:23:50Speaker 4: That might irritate your vajayjay.
- 1:23:54Speaker 9: You can sell it at your Funeral.
- 1:23:55Speaker 3: Funeral. Funeral.
- 1:23:57Speaker 4: You better trademark that coin. Seriously.
- 1:24:01Speaker 6: I think, like, party gifts at the Funeral.
- 1:24:04Speaker 14: When we start hearing Little Wayne singing about Funeral, we
- 1:24:06Speaker 14: know where it started.
- 1:24:07Speaker 9: The grieving widow has to move on somehow.
- 1:24:10Speaker 10: Or maybe you could cross over. You could have, like,
- 1:24:11Speaker 10: a bachelorette party slash Funeral. I know.
- 1:24:14Speaker 3: You know, I once went to a bridal... Sorry, I
- 1:24:17Speaker 3: was too close. I once went to a bridal shower,
- 1:24:19Speaker 3: and I got her a whole bunch of, like, sympathy
- 1:24:22Speaker 3: cards and like funeral gifts.
- 1:24:24Speaker 4: We can tie this in yeah.
- 1:24:26Speaker 3: But uh what who sings that you fancy song.
- 1:24:30Speaker 9: You fancy now you fit that one.
- 1:24:32Speaker 3: You fancy now.
- 1:24:33Speaker 4: You fancy.
- 1:24:34Speaker 9: It's Tia.
- 1:24:35Speaker 3: Okay, because yesterday I was looking for my friends because
- 1:24:38Speaker 3: they were lost. And I found them sitting on a
- 1:24:41Speaker 3: bench on some weird guy's lap. And I was like,
- 1:24:43Speaker 3: where have you guys been? And all they would say is,
- 1:24:46Speaker 3: you fancy now.
- 1:24:48Speaker 5: Wait, what?
- 1:24:48Speaker 3: And it was really annoying. It was really annoying.
- 1:24:50Speaker 4: Wait, let me cue up the Twilight Zone theme. Hold on.
- 1:24:53Speaker 8: Do-do.
- 1:24:54Speaker 4: They were singing in an.
- 1:24:56Speaker 14: Old guy's lap and they wouldn't say anything other than
- 1:24:58Speaker 14: you fancy them.
- 1:24:59Speaker 3: Yeah, I was like, where have you been? You fancy.
- 1:25:02Speaker 3: We fancy. Were they your friends anymore? Yeah, they were
- 1:25:04Speaker 3: my friends. They were really drunk. How happy was this
- 1:25:09Speaker 3: old man? He wasn't an old man.
- 1:25:11Speaker 4: He was a young guy.
- 1:25:12Speaker 9: Was Timmy anywhere near?
- 1:25:13Speaker 4: No. No, they lost Timmy hours ago.
- 1:25:17Speaker 3: Timmy was at home.
- 1:25:19Speaker 4: Timmy was spinning in a circle out on the boat
- 1:25:21Speaker 4: dock somewhere.
- 1:25:22Speaker 3: But the guy put his hand on my friend's leg.
- 1:25:26Speaker 3: She goes, and he started rubbing her leg. She said,
- 1:25:29Speaker 3: you can touch it, but you can't rub it.
- 1:25:31Speaker 4: I'm married. Oh, my God.
- 1:25:33Speaker 6: You can touch it, but you can't rub it.
- 1:25:35Speaker 4: I'm married. Timmy was outside playing with bird poop. Don't
- 1:25:38Speaker 4: worry about it. He was all good.
- 1:25:40Speaker 8: Spraying people in the face with that pepper spray.
- 1:25:45Speaker 9: That's what she gets for getting his fucking name wrong.
- 1:25:46Speaker 3: Oh, did I forget to talk about that? Yeah, that happened.
- 1:25:50Speaker 13: Oh, Lord.
- 1:25:51Speaker 8: Oh, Jesus.
- 1:25:52Speaker 3: I was like, that's just payback. No. You accidentally called
- 1:25:57Speaker 3: him the wrong name. When you call your son the
- 1:26:01Speaker 3: wrong name. He springs you in the face with pepper spray.
- 1:26:05Speaker 4: Yeah, that seems about right.
- 1:26:07Speaker 3: Eye for an eye, literally.
- 1:26:10Speaker 4: Wow.
- 1:26:11Speaker 6: Self-esteem for an eye.
- 1:26:13Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what I mean. Eye for an eye.
- 1:26:18Speaker 4: That was too complicated.
- 1:26:20Speaker 3: I know. I love complicated references.
- 1:26:23Speaker 4: That's true.
- 1:26:24Speaker 3: I love you, Randy.
- 1:26:27Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:26:29Speaker 4: Okay, kids, get out your Dakota bins.
- 1:26:30Speaker 3: Oh, what's the Knight Rider? No, it's... Yeah, it's awesome.
- 1:26:35Speaker 4: Okay, sorry. I go there in my head. I can't
- 1:26:39Speaker 4: get out of it.
- 1:26:39Speaker 6: All right, we're.
- 1:26:41Speaker 4: Just going to do another hour of theme songs.
- 1:26:58Speaker 3: Poorly recreated.
- 1:27:02Speaker 4: Straightening the curtains.
- 1:27:04Speaker 3: The next two weeks.
- 1:27:05Speaker 9: Two weeks. Next week, we're going to watch The Bad Seed.
- 1:27:09Speaker 3: And the week after that, we're.
- 1:27:11Speaker 4: Going to watch something else. All right, smarty pants.
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: Since you're on top of it, finish it.
- 1:27:27Speaker 3: She doesn't remember the name of the movie. That's not
- 1:27:29Speaker 3: my fault.
- 1:27:29Speaker 9: That one movie with that one kid from the.
- 1:27:31Speaker 3: My name is Brian, and I like to skateboard. I
- 1:27:33Speaker 3: would never do anything to someone I'm friends with. Like,
- 1:27:36Speaker 3: poop my pants.
- 1:27:36Speaker 6: Mystery Team.
- 1:27:37Speaker 9: Mystery Team, yeah.
- 1:27:39Speaker 4: It is, in fact, Mystery Team.
- 1:27:40Speaker 9: So next week is.
- 1:27:41Speaker 4: The Bad Seed.
- 1:27:43Speaker 3: And the week after that is.
- 1:27:44Speaker 6: Mystery Team.
- 1:27:46Speaker 3: See?
- 1:27:46Speaker 4: We've got it all worked out now.
- 1:27:48Speaker 3: Cool.
- 1:27:49Speaker 6: Repeated at home games in Spanish.
- 1:27:52Speaker 3: Play at home game.
- 1:27:59Speaker 4: I think that is it but now i figured in
- 1:28:01Speaker 4: the 90s they made some horrible reading i read the
- 1:28:04Speaker 4: book you know a.
- 1:28:07Speaker 3: Movie i really want to see brian um the one
- 1:28:10Speaker 3: where the guy has love and hate tattooed.

- 1:28:17Speaker 3: It yet but i've owned it for over a year
- 1:28:19Speaker 3: it's pretty damn.
- 1:28:20Speaker 10: Impressive so All right, anything else to wrap up our
- 1:28:24Speaker 10: shark-to-push clam bake here?
- 1:28:27Speaker 4: Shark-to-push clam bake.
- 1:28:29Speaker 9: I ate fishes.
- 1:28:30Speaker 4: We ate many fishes.
- 1:28:32Speaker 11: And breaded shrimp.
- 1:28:32Speaker 3: We should have had goldfish crackers.
- 1:28:34Speaker 4: Except for Roger, who was eaten by a fish.
- 1:28:36Speaker 2: Sort of.
- 1:28:37Speaker 4: Metaphysically.
- 1:28:38Speaker 9: A shark-to-push?
- 1:28:39Speaker 2: Metaphorically. Metaphysically.
- 1:28:41Speaker 9: Did you go in the octopus way? Which door did
- 1:28:45Speaker 9: you take?
- 1:28:45Speaker 4: I came in the shark wave that went out the
- 1:28:48Speaker 4: octopus way.
- 1:28:49Speaker 6: The octopus way?
- 1:28:51Speaker 3: Oh my god.
- 1:28:52Speaker 9: Were you in Sharktopus's ovaries? Because clearly it's a girl.
- 1:28:57Speaker 4: Tracked in the octa-woo.
- 1:28:59Speaker 3: How is it clearly a girl?
- 1:29:02Speaker 9: How is it clearly a girl?
- 1:29:03Speaker 4: Because it's such a bitch.
- 1:29:05Speaker 6: See, never about a no rhyme or reason.
- 1:29:07Speaker 4: Or it was the octa-vajay.
- 1:29:10Speaker 8: God. Octa-vaj.
- 1:29:14Speaker 4: I'm never going to go down ever again.
- 1:29:17Speaker 7: Sorry teeth we need to get a hold of her
- 1:29:24Speaker 7: because she's from here too i didn't realize.
- 1:29:26Speaker 3: That vagina dentata the teeth.
- 1:29:28Speaker 4: Girl yeah she's from louisville really.
- 1:29:30Speaker 8: That's in the water i don't know yeah the actual
- 1:29:33Speaker 8: dentata is that the actual.
- 1:29:35Speaker 3: Like it's not real so people.
- 1:29:38Speaker 14: Are born with like their their half-formed uh Twin, like,
- 1:29:42Speaker 14: down there.
- 1:29:43Speaker 4: In the vajayjay?
- 1:29:44Speaker 3: Why, is that what you're into?
- 1:29:45Speaker 9: Because that's just kind of gross.
- 1:29:47Speaker 4: I've got a website for you. I'm into many different things.
- 1:29:50Speaker 3: There is, like, a video for it, but it's fake.
- 1:29:51Speaker 3: It was, like, a promo for it. But it was
- 1:29:53Speaker 3: really convincing, though.
- 1:29:54Speaker 4: It's like a bear trap.
- 1:29:57Speaker 9: If you have teeth in your vagina, get teeth a cell.
- 1:30:00Speaker 9: That's what I can come up with.
- 1:30:04Speaker 4: And then for old people, they have a special denture
- 1:30:06Speaker 4: attachment later down the line. God, but I love.
- 1:30:10Speaker 14: supernatural show that was that we just watched it was
- 1:30:12Speaker 14: all they were the trickster trapped in fake tv shows
- 1:30:15Speaker 14: and commercial like doing commercials or they've got genital herpes
- 1:30:19Speaker 14: and it's.
- 1:30:20Speaker 9: Hilarious yeah so sam's like oh i've got genital.
- 1:30:23Speaker 14: Herpes and it's like a fake herpes commercial.
- 1:30:26Speaker 5: Why would they go along with it well because the
- 1:30:29Speaker 5: the thing is you have to learn to play your
- 1:30:31Speaker 5: role because sam and dean are both very influential in
- 1:30:34Speaker 5: the apocalypse and the end of the world And they're
- 1:30:37Speaker 5: refusing to play their roles as muscles for Satan.
- 1:30:41Speaker 4: Come on, guys. Just go along with the game.
- 1:30:43Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 1:30:43Speaker 4: That's basically it.
- 1:30:44Speaker 6: Kind of like a lesson episode.
- 1:30:46Speaker 4: It was awesome.
- 1:30:48Speaker 6: But they refused.
- 1:30:49Speaker 4: Dr. Sexy MD.
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: Dr.
- 1:30:50Speaker 9: Sexy MD. Seriously? Seriously? Seriously?
- 1:30:55Speaker 4: Grey's Anatomy, we're probably.
- 1:30:57Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:30:57Speaker 3: Anyway, I think that's all we have.
- 1:30:59Speaker 9: I think we ran out of good stuff a long
- 1:31:00Speaker 9: time ago.
- 1:31:01Speaker 4: Yeah, pretty much. We never.
- 1:31:03Speaker 9: Actually, this is.
- 1:31:04Speaker 4: Do we ever have good stuff?
- 1:31:06Speaker 9: No. About a year and a half ago.
- 1:31:08Speaker 12: What?
- 1:31:09Speaker 9: We had good stuff.
- 1:31:11Speaker 4: I disagree. I think in the last, like, several months
- 1:31:14Speaker 4: we've hit a stride of shows that are unparalleled unparalleled.
- 1:31:20Speaker 10: It has become way more entertaining and fun as far
- 1:31:22Speaker 10: as I'm concerned me too but.
- 1:31:24Speaker 9: I laugh every weekend that's what.
- 1:31:26Speaker 10: I'm saying I laugh at myself I think we have
- 1:31:28Speaker 10: way more fun.
- 1:31:29Speaker 3: I laugh and then I go home and cry myself to.
- 1:31:31Speaker 10: Sleep I would be thoroughly entertained if we didn't record
- 1:31:34Speaker 10: this which by the.
- 1:31:37Speaker 3: I wouldn't doubt it.
- 1:31:38Speaker 4: Just give us a little something to do. None of
- 1:31:40Speaker 4: us would know.
- 1:31:41Speaker 3: We would never be the wiser if this wasn't a
- 1:31:43Speaker 3: real show.
- 1:31:43Speaker 4: If we didn't get hate mail, we'd never know. I
- 1:31:46Speaker 4: got hate mail.
- 1:31:46Speaker 12: Not really.
- 1:31:48Speaker 9: We all got hate mail. It's love hate mail.
- 1:31:55Speaker 4: More love. But he did sort of come back around
- 1:32:02Speaker 4: by the second response. I don't know that he'll listen again,
- 1:32:04Speaker 4: but he at least sort of admitted that.
- 1:32:07Speaker 14: Can we read it before we go?
- 1:32:08Speaker 9: No, I don't want to read it.
- 1:32:09Speaker 4: Yeah, you don't want to read it, but yeah.
- 1:32:11Speaker 3: I would like to.
- 1:32:13Speaker 4: Oh, let's see.
- 1:32:14Speaker 9: Am I called the most horrible person in the world?
- 1:32:16Speaker 4: Only by her during the show.
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: Me?
- 1:32:19Speaker 3: I never said that.
- 1:32:21Speaker 4: Let's see. I can't remember at this point. We called
- 1:32:24Speaker 4: ourselves out on many occasions.
- 1:32:26Speaker 3: If I did, I was joking.
- 1:32:28Speaker 4: You thought it was funny at the time. Ben's just jokes.
- 1:32:30Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:32:31Speaker 3: If I thought that, I would have got you a clock.
- 1:32:33Speaker 3: I love the clock.
- 1:32:34Speaker 4: I know. I think you followed that up with, I'm
- 1:32:36Speaker 4: going to hell.
- 1:32:38Speaker 3: Yeah. Heck in a handbasket.
- 1:32:41Speaker 9: I totally am. I'll save you all seed.
- 1:32:42Speaker 4: It's okay. I called us out as hell party of four.
- 1:32:45Speaker 4: I've got a.
- 1:32:46Speaker 6: Booster seat waiting.
- 1:32:47Speaker 4: Hell party of four.
- 1:32:48Speaker 6: No.
- 1:32:49Speaker 3: I've got a booster seat. Remember that comic thing that
- 1:32:51Speaker 3: I got from the Horror Hound Convention? It was about hell.
- 1:32:54Speaker 3: It was like one of those fake religious tracks. It
- 1:32:56Speaker 3: was like, and then I was in hell, and Gigi
- 1:32:58Speaker 3: Allen was there, and every awesome person who's ever lived.
- 1:33:02Speaker 3: And I'm like, hell sounds so fun.
- 1:33:04Speaker 8: Yay!
- 1:33:04Speaker 3: It was funny. I still have it.
- 1:33:07Speaker 9: Well, wrap it on up.
- 1:33:09Speaker 3: Are we done? Is it wrapped up?
- 1:33:10Speaker 4: It's like 10.45 at night.
- 1:33:12Speaker 10: Alright, so I think we've played enough little snippets of
- 1:33:16Speaker 10: it in the last couple of months that we need
- 1:33:17Speaker 10: to just fully go out with the Sharktopus theme song.
- 1:33:21Speaker 4: Performed by the Cheeto.
- 1:33:22Speaker 5: The Cheeto sneezes.
- 1:33:26Speaker 6: My bad, America.
- 1:33:26Speaker 4: That seems diseased. I don't like that at all. Performed
- 1:33:31Speaker 4: by the Cheeto whores.
- 1:33:32Speaker 3: That doesn't sound any better or less diseased.
- 1:33:34Speaker 10: I didn't say it was, but at least it's the
- 1:33:37Speaker 10: accurate thing if.
- 1:33:38Speaker 4: You're looking for hippie old iTunes music. All right. Otherwise,
- 1:33:43Speaker 4: I guess that about does it.
- 1:33:45Speaker 9: See you next week.
- 1:33:46Speaker 4: We will return next week. Same geek time, same geek beat.
- 1:33:49Speaker 4: Thanks for listening.
- 1:33:50Speaker 9: Bye.
- 1:33:51Speaker 8: Bye, Randy.
- 1:33:53Speaker 3: Bye.

- 1:34:22Speaker 8: there's a sign When you see that fancy.
- 1:34:24Speaker 9: Beating, you will be the next beating Charged to push.
- 1:34:26Speaker 3: Won't be kept in faith And you can.
- 1:34:29Speaker 14: Never, ever, ever get away So.

- 1:34:35Speaker 5: your baby without a doubt So swim on over, don't
- 1:34:38Speaker 5: you scream and shout Gonna get your baby without a doubt.
- 1:34:43Speaker 8: Come on.
- 1:34:47Speaker 14: There's a creature, a creature with a double piece.
- 1:34:56Speaker 3: A freakish beast, one flesh and piece.
- 1:34:59Speaker 5: A twisted fair sheath, so much as.
- 1:35:01Speaker 9: A Thai dish.
- 1:35:02Speaker 5: When you see that fancy beating, you will.
- 1:35:06Speaker 9: Be the next bleeding.
- 1:35:07Speaker 6: Just a blue, gold beak, that's that fair.
- 1:35:14Speaker 9: Swim on over, don't you scream and shout. Get your
- 1:35:18Speaker 9: baby without a doubt.
- 1:35:19Speaker 5: Swim on over, don't you scream and shout. Get your

- 1:35:25Speaker 9: Swim on over, don't you scream and shout.
