So before we get to the book, Joe, some people just celebrated Halloween, not, hopefully

not many Christians, but I know you've done a lot of shows on that.

You've written about that.

You've given out a lot of resources.

There's still this level of ignorance, even in the church about the history and the

background of Halloween and the occult influences.

So I know that what's your whistle.

So to speak, I wanted to give you just an opportunity to share your heart on that and

what a lot of people have been celebrated.

Yeah, David, we want to make sure that we're scriptural, but at the same time, not legal

istic. So the Bible says not to go beyond the scripture, but it comes to holidays.

There's a lot of controversy, of course, in the body of Christ and so forth.

And I look at the scripture.

I see sometimes there's celebrations that take place that God never sanctions.

That aren't ungodly.

They might celebrate someone's death or, for instance.

So I think celebrations are great.

I think there's holidays that are sanctioned.

I think there's other holidays that we can celebrate that aren't mentioned in scripture,

like we celebrate Thanksgiving.

What an incredible holiday, you know, being thankful for the founding of,

you know, what happened in our nation and so forth.

But at the same time, it's biblical to be thankful.

But the scriptures warn us not to be conformed to the evils of the world system.

And the scripture is seen in Deuteronomy chapter 18.

God told the Jews when they came to the land, not to imitate the pagan practice of those nations.

So when they are coming to the land, which the Lord that God gives,

he does not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.

There should not be found among anyone who makes a center of

daughter pass through the fire that uses divination or observer of time or

witch or enchanter or consult with familiar spirits and so forth.

These things are all forbidden.

Yet that's what Halloween is all about.

It's a celebration from ancient Ireland.

The Celts would basically celebrate, you know, the actually it was a foreboding time,

not as much a celebration for many people because they believed that these demonic entities

or the living dead, that the dead would come back and hop them,

hence the term trick or treat.

You know, you give them a treat to placate the spirits,

otherwise they play a trick on you.

And in ancient the Druids and so forth, they were fearfully spirits and they make sacrifices to them.

Well, now we, in our day, the spirit realm hasn't disappeared.

Satan's very real and witchcraft and Wicca and all these things are on the rise as a result of

Halloween and many have reported that it's one day will, you know, it'll basically rise above

Christmas as far as the main holiday celebrated the United States and that's just heartbreaking.

It's concerning that people are still not getting.

And it's really a counterfeit of the resurrection of Jesus Christ thinking that the living dead

and this fascination with zombies and vampires and it's all a cult base.

But we've got to move on, Job, because there's a couple other things I wanted to ask you about,

including we wanted to talk a little bit about Israel and anti-Semitism.

But first, the reason why I wanted to have you on, you have a kid's book, children's book.

It's called Sparky the Broken Mirror and I know one of the reasons you wrote it was because

of what's going on with the drag queen story hours and how the left and how demonic entities are

trying to access children and indoctrinate children with evil. And I appreciate you for as a pastor

for putting the gospel out in a book that children can relate to and kids can understand their true

identity. So, Job, tell us about Sparky the Broken Mirror. When did you decide to write this and

what brought this about really? Well, I was always telling my children stories and trying to share

morals and the gospel with them, few stories. And then my grandchildren, now I'm doing that with

them for many years now, got six of them. And an illustration I used to always use Dave when I

would preach, I still do, is how do you find yourself? You know, because a lot of people want to

find themselves, it comes out of the sixties, you got to, you know, they search to find themselves,

Zen Buddhism or some occult practice. And I used the illustration of a mirror that we're creating

God's image. And the world has, you know, spiritual amnesia, they have no idea they're creating the

image of God. Darwinism, Satan's used that to just destroy people's understanding that we're
5:44
creating God's image. Hence, we don't treat each other as image bearers and murder and the murder
5:49
of the unborn and everything is so wickedly easy for the human populace. I wanted to show that we're

creating the image of God in an illustration. So I used the fact that if an image, if a mirror was

made by somebody, and then that mirror broke, and that mirror tried to find itself, it would never

be able to find itself by just looking at itself or to someone else. It would have to look to the

the one who made it. So I'd use the image of a mirror as a picture of us that we're created to reflect

God. That's what we're supposed to be like. And so I'd use that as illustration in my messages.

And I decided to turn that put flesh and blood on that, make it into a story. And I wanted to,

it's to basically emulate the gospel. So in Sparky the Broken Mirror, a man, a guy named Emily

Penaire just incredible illustrator just did a great job working with me. And I basically take

them through the whole story of redemption. So you have creation and to teach kids discernment

regarding the lies, because there's a lot of false teaching out there regarding our identity.

Gender dysphoria. Since we don't understand we're creating God's image of what we're created for

to pro-create, people are taught that, you know, that you could be maybe you're not a man, maybe

you're really a female. If you're a female, really, maybe you're a man. And you have the transsexualism,

you have transvestites in all this. As you mentioned, story hour, there's such confusion.

Just be propated on our young people. So I wanted to counter that with this book. And you have

literally scriptures at Warren and Deuteronomy. A man is not supposed to put on that which pertains

to a woman. When was that supposed to put on that which pertains to a man? In the last days we're

told, as you know, Dave and second Timothy three, terrible times would come and men would be without

family love, Storgette, right? And then first Corinthians chapter six, verses nine through eleven,

it warns that, you know, that doctor be deceived, that wicked will not inherit God's kingdom.

And it mentions, you know, adulterers and fornicators, but homosexuals, and a feminine. And the

Greek word for a feminine there, as Filo of Alexandria and other historians and so forth point out,

when they used that word, how to do with man who would shave their all the hair off their bodies

and would put on women's perfume and seek to be like women. That was happening in those days.

And it was condemned in scripture. Yep. It has New Testament teachers, which you are Dave and

myself. We need to have the gumption and the courage to stand up against these lies because

this idea has infiltrated the church in mass. And a lot of pastors are sticking their finger in the

air and say, say, which way are the political winds blowing? And they're going with them. And

we're supposed to conform to the world. So this book, if you go through it, I mean some I encourage

people just if they want to just go to Amazon and look at the reviews because I think there's about

64 reviews that became an overnight bestseller, which we're incredibly thankful for. But you can read

the reviews and see how even parents are saying they needed this book for themselves. Many of them

talk about crime when Sparky's redeemed. So this is Broke Mayor Dave and he goes through

gauntlet. I mean, there's six things, you know, six, you know, where he fails. First he tries to put

himself back together, a serpent to seize him. He jumps out the wall because he's told the king is

keeping him from being this great big star. You know, kind of a genesis like right. It's what's

supposed to be he he crashes the ground, tries to put himself back together again. He tries to

then he tries to climb the wall through it with a ladder. But then he goes to the doctor and a nurse.

They give him a bandaid. It's not going to help him. They go because you know, praise God for doctors

and nurses. My daughter, oh, one of my daughters is a nurse and praise God for them, but they can't

heal our souls. And then he goes to a therapist who says you need to love yourself more. That doesn't

work. He goes to a he flies the middle to the east and goes to a guru tells him to meditate on his

belly button. That doesn't put him back together again. Then he goes to a witch and she levitates him.

And he levitates and he falls in that last short of glasses left breaks off. And he's carrying

around his glass in a bag with a hobo. Finally, he ends up in the, you know, the darkest depths of

despair in the black forest. And and he's crying and and then lo and behold, man, the king comes. The

light appears. The king comes and just puts him back together again. And the king's hands are bleeding

as he puts him back together again, a picture of what Christ did for us and sacrificing himself to

save us from our sins and redeem us. Then he's brought back to the heavenly palace and he's glorified.

It's like the whole story of redemption for little kids, but also for adults because it really

shows you a picture, a beautiful picture of the gospel. So I, if I sound excited about the book,

I am because I really believe the Lord gave me this, this picture. And it's at the end, Dave,

there's like four pages where I'm sorry, four captions where we, where we describe the gospel.

Now the king is a type or a picture of Jesus. So and many, many people are just loving that because

it's a really clear way to show their children the gospel. So we need to get these books out there

other things. And I really, I saw you in that absolute. I say, Hey, here's, here's Joe preaching

last days, terrible times of comfort men will be lovers of self. And then right after that,

that book that came out some years ago with a company video called The Secret. Yes.

It was about all about manifesting how you can create your own reality. You can manifest your own

reality and and it's really a cultism. It's a cultism and we go through the history there.

Chad actually, it was the main guy putting that video together and he interviews

Dorian virtue, former top new age or she was the top new age for some time and she interviews me

as well. And and we we talk about how the first time you really see this this concept being broadcast

it is in the 1800s by people like modern Blavatsky, the cultist. And then we go into the secret

and so forth because this is now Dave everywhere. You have sports stars talking about their manifesting

Hollywood stars, pop stars. We're all manifesting over and over again. They're saying and it's heartbreaking

because what we're talking about is using a cult techniques to open to release power. And in the

secret, they try to make it scientific, David. And as you know, so many people do this with

with pseudoscience and in the occult and also with Darwinism and so forth, but they teach that

your thoughts, you know, and your words can generate a molecular force that basically shapes

reality. But when you really look at what they're saying, especially the occultists that are behind

it, they they reference and they talk about the spirit world that they open themselves up to.

In fact, the secret a lot of people weren't aware, but when you look at Vern who basically

wrote it, she talks about the secret and so forth, but she bases it on work with another lady

that helped her immensely, who she basically disassociated herself with. And unless she would

transfer over all her intellectual rights to the concept of the secret. And what happened here

was they were channeling a spirit entity they called Abraham with, well, the the originator of the

whole so-called the secret was channeling this entity called the call Abraham. Of course,

it's interesting how they always go back to the Bible and use some name to try to give it a

feel of truth. Satan always does that. It's a cult that's always seen to do that over and over again.

It's like, you know, to make it seem like it's, you know, connected to God's word in some way.

And what's crazy is she ends up claiming that she was possessed by this entity who would violently,

you know, she'd wake up or she'd be asleep and slam her husband with her arm. And she said,

she said that she became a living Ouija board. She said she was afraid of the Ouija board,

but she became a living Ouija board. And she started typing out what became much of the secret

this philosophy so fast with this entity's controlling her body that her husband had to grab her

hands so she didn't break any bones. We're talking about demonic possession. By the way,

this took place when she was meditating that she first got in touch with this entity. And it's

interesting because before I became a Christian, I was in the occult. And I started doing

meditations based on the power of the subconscious mind. And these things that I thought David were

were supposed to be science. Power of subconscious mind, psycho cybernetic book that came out in the

late 70s. Because I'm reading through these things. I start doing these practices. And I open

myself up to the spirit world. And one of the fastest ways to open yourself up to a demon is to

Eastern meditation forms of different forms of yoga and so forth. And it's just interesting when

you see the connections, mountain bulamatski go way back to her. She claims that she had an entity

that would write through her and so forth. Because as you know, Dave, very well that we wrestle a

lot against flesh and blood, but against principles and powers against the rules of the darkness of

this world, spiritual wickedness and heavenly places. So I think it's interesting. Even the movie,

David, the secret, the movie, or I'm sorry, when you look at it or the book, same deal. You have

basically the picture of a genie being a lamp being rubbed in a genie coming out, which is short

for gin, which goes back to the ancient promises from the demonic entity through this story that

gets you in trouble in the long run. And it was interesting that the secret starts off with that

picture as though you can basically open yourself up to these forces. And the reality is you're

opening yourself up to satanic forces. And basically they come to still kill and destroy.

So manifest. I mean, you hear that a lot. I'm just manifesting what I'm thinking of in my mind.

I'm creating. It's a perversion of God and creation. And we think that, I mean, I've heard it

in churches, Joe. You can just visualize, right? Possibility thinking, visualize. God wants to

bless you. We've heard in the prosperity gospel. We don't have time for that. But I do want to talk

to you about a very important issue that we've been talking a lot about on this program. And that

is Israel. And what's happening there, not just over in the Middle East, because it's melting

down. And that's prophetic. Some of what's going on is prophetic. But in America, Joe,

anti-Semitism has been off the charts. I'm really disappointed. Part of that is the ignorance

of people, even in the church, about world history, about Bible prophecy. But we've got

minions in the media and in the university system that are, they're endorsing what Hamas did.

Pure evil. And what they did in the attacks in early October. Share your thoughts and help

us make some sense out of what we're seeing in America in responding to what's going on in Israel.

Yeah. It's important that, and you bring up the whole gamut, you know, Bible prophecy,

history, and everything else. And it's important to understand that God itself is not a country.

It's a territory that was given by God to Israel. It's not the ancient Philistines there anymore.

It's Arabs. We're not historically there until long after the Philistines. And they don't even

claim to be the Philistines. Philistine gene pool is gone. They don't say, hey, we're from

Creighton, you know, Greece and so forth, which Philistines originally were. So historically,

God said he'd make Israel a nation. Again, he said they'd be born in a day. And who would

ever think that such a strange thing could happen? God says that in those terms, but he'll bring

the nation back together and he has. But it also says that there would be hostility in the nations

against them that they'd be their curse and a hissing wear and that no place to lay their foot.

They'd be hostility because they are God's people. And David, and I'm praise God for your show

because there's so much misinformation on so many issues. Yeah. Whatever I talk to you, I'm like,

I feel a kindred spirit because you see what's going on. And we know, and you see the spiritual

warfare behind these things, which I think is very, very important because we read from the very

get go that God would have his seed come through a woman, right? And Satan would try to crush that

seed, but we'd only be able to bruise his heel. But ultimately, that seed would crush Satan's head.

And we see Satan trying to destroy the people of Israel from the very beginning, whether it's

through, you know, as we're coming in the Promised Land, and Baylam is, you know, trying to curse

him at the behest of Bayluk the King, whether you see Hayman trying to kill the Jews in Persia,

which is Iran, which by the way, is trying to is using the Hezbollah and Hamas and all these

things to destroy Israel to this day. And we see there's a spirit called the Prince of Persia

over Iran at that time that Gabriel, the angel Gabriel and the angel Michael fled against. So you

see this all the way through history, the serians coming in, the Babylonians trying to destroy them,

the Romans, you know, all the way to the Holocaust, which was just in the last century Hitler trying

to go into 20 different countries to round up the Jews to kill them. Well, look, anybody that could

read history, anybody that wants to be honest with it, we see that there is an onslaught against

Israel, but a spiritual too, because we know in the book Revelation chapter 12 that Satan goes

after the woman. And the woman is depicted in the beginning of chapter 12 with 12 stars, a son

in the moon, which is how she's depicted in a genesis, you know, Jacob and his sons and so forth,

his 12 sons making up Israel's name was changed to Israel. I mentioned that because you see the

spiritual warfare that's going on with Satan seeking to destroy the woman right up into the

tribulation period, God protects the woman who's given birth to the Messiah. Jesus came through the

woman Israel and then he can't get Messiah, science sends the heaven, but then he persecutes the

woman for 42 months. That's Israel. The 44,000 Jews mentioned Revelation seven were protected from

the wrath of God. I say all this because here in the United States now, we have to see that

historical, you know, all the way from Genesis, gone now to this period of time that we live in now.

And it was interesting that you mentioned what you mentioned because you know the UN, which meets in,

you know, New York, United Nations, the lead guy, you know, the general assembly guy, he came out

and just said, basically tried to blame it on Israel. Now he's doubled down on what he said.

And you have Biden's press secretary when she's asked about anti-Semitism and what's going on

with regard to the Jews. She pivots and says, well, you know what, there's no anti-Semitism,

we know against the Jews right now, but you know, it's a disproportionate amount against Muslims.

And this is crazy because you probably know the statistic. Jews make about 2% of our country,

2%, yet 51% of the hate crimes in the last several years have been against 51% of them have been

against Jews. Absolutely amazing statistic. And what breaks your heart is, in 1921, I'm sorry,

2021, there were like 2,700 hate crimes against Jews worldwide. Fast-forward 2022, then it's about

3,700, a thousand more, about a 35% increase. And now you're in 2023, right after they get invaded

with the most the most radical terror attack ever on their soil. Little kids decapitated, beheaded,

all these brutal things taking place before they even stepped foot in Gaza. They were being blamed

here in the United States. Columbia University in New York, which has the greatest amount of Jews

in the outside of Israel. Many Jewish students going there, yet professors coming out,

condemning Israel and claiming it to be their fault, with Jewish children now afraid to go to

school. Many of them staying home by the thousands. So this is exactly what the Bible said would

happen. This is because of man's evil reactions toward God's word as planned.

but yet it's very easy to understand. I think there's just this blind or because it is demonic

what's happening. It's prophetic. It's demonic. And there's so much misinformation and propaganda

in America. I was just talking with the pastor yesterday about the propaganda war that the left

has been pretty successful. They're laying out this propaganda and you're looking at these

college campuses. You're looking at our media and you're going, don't they see what's going on,

but they really don't. Some of them are deceived. Some of our deceivers. So how's

the Christians respond to this, Joe? And then we've got to wrap it up.

Well, I was going to make a video, a client, I'm supposed to fly out the Israel about a week for

now. That was our plans, a prophecy video on Israel. So the timing is just really ironic. So they

need to be aware of what's going on. They need to dive into the Bible prophecy. They need to stay

away from prophecy teachers who are anti-Semitic. Yes, you believe that God hates Israel now and

he's done with Israel or replacement theology, right? And they need to stick to Jesus and the

scripture so they can discern that they're the genuine article from the counterfeit. I would love
