  game. Of course, I know on this

  channel it's mostly Saint Louis, Cardinals baseball, but a it is

  the Super Bowl. Kansas City Chiefs winning at

  2522 in overtime. Unbelievable game.

  Chiefs now Super Bowl champs back-to-back years, three out of

  the last five Super Bowls. I think it's fair to say we have

  a dynasty, and it looks like a dynasty.

  I don't want to say the beginning is it.
• 0:34
  Is it halfway home? I mean, Patrick Mahomes, is he
• 0:38
  2828 years old? Here's the thing about Patrick
• 0:42
  Mahomes now, I used to be pretty big into sports gambling.

  I still do it a little bit here and there.
• 0:50
  I'm either kind of all in or all out.
• 0:52
  And this year, for whatever reason, between fantasy football
• 0:55
  and gambling, I just didn't do a lot of sports gambling.

  But let me tell you something. I'm at the point with Patrick

  Mahomes that I I will probably never bet against Patrick

  Mahomes in the play offs regular season.

  Different story, but you probably saw if you're watching

  the post game and Jim Nance is asking Pat Mahomes when he's up

  there on their stage, which was this weird kind of small Octagon

  stage, right? I had this blurred background by

  the way. Is it distracting?

  Let me know. My hands are weird looking

  there. But Patrick Mahomes, I'm

  paraphrasing. But he said, look, the Kansas

  City Chiefs are never the underdog.

  And that's true. Are you?

  Are you ever feeling good about a bet against Patrick Mahomes?

  And I feel like I learned my lesson because last year I

  remember thinking, gosh, dude, I don't ever want to bet against

  Mahomes, but whatever the line was in the Super Bowl against
• 1:50
  the Philadelphia Eagles and I think it might have closed at a
• 1:54
  point in the half, whatever, Maybe I got it a better line
• 1:58
  before that. But you just don't go into a

  game feeling good when you've bet against Patrick Mahomes and
• 2:04
  the Chiefs right now. And they're also getting points.

  So look, man, another part of this of this argument is, you

  know, the GOAT greatest of all time.

  Look, he's got to get up there and get close to the amount of
• 2:18
  Super Bowls that Tom Brady has. But from from a passing
• 2:22
  standpoint, doing things with the football that I don't think
• 2:26
  anybody else can do for me, for me, now he's got to, he's got to
• 2:31
  keep playing because Tom Brady had a a lot of longevity.

  But I I think you can already start to make the argument that
• 2:38
  Patrick Mahomes is the greatest of all time.

  He does things that Tom Brady could never do and he's 28 years
• 2:45
  old, already has three Super Bowl championships.

  So the stats for Mahomes? 333 passing yards, 2 touchdowns.

  One pick rushed for 66 yards on 9 carries.

  He was the Chiefs leading rusher, Travis Kelsey, after a

  really slow first half, catches 9 balls for 93 yards total.

  So pretty Dang good performance there.

  Hey, Brock Purdy was really good.

  He just wasn't as good as Patrick Mahomes.

  Christian McCaffrey had 160 yards combined.

  He had 80 rushing, 80 receiving. But I'm not.

  Look, I'm not going to be Mr. Mr. Breakdown every play.

  Let's kind of talk about some of the other stuff around the game.

  Now, I had my my my son was up for I guess what the first half,

  my daughter, we let my daughter watch the whole game.

  My son's 2 1/2, my daughter's six.

  And it was fun to see. This is kind of the first time
• 3:38
  my daughter got into a sporting event.
• 3:41
  I think she has friends at school that wear Chief's gear.
• 3:43
  And also, I dropped her off at school this morning.
• 3:46
  And I saw a lot of kids, girls and boys, walking into school
• 3:50
  with Chief's gear. So I know in Saint Louis, that's
• 3:53
  a little bit of a touchy subject.
• 3:55
  And people are saying, oh, we should root for the Chiefs, but
• 3:57
  oh, they voted against us in terms of the Rams.
• 4:00
  You know, they wanted the Rams to leave.
• 4:03
  Look, the whole NFL was against the Rams.
• 4:06
  It's a long time ago and it's hard to root against this Chiefs
• 4:10
  team, even though they're a dynasty.
• 4:13
  I I think usually you have some people that like dynasties, but
• 4:17
  a lot of a lot of people don't like.
• 4:18
  I wasn't a big fan of the Patriots after a while, but I
• 4:22
  think Patrick Mahomes is fun to root for now.

  The whole Taylor Swift, Travis, Kelsey thing became a big deal
• 4:29
  and I guess not surprisingly in this day and age became a
• 4:33
  political thing, which I think is just absolutely crazy.

  But I think it's it's hard to root against Mahomes and like I
• 4:40
  said it was cool to see my daughter get into this game.

  She's gotten into Ohio State football games cause I've kind
• 4:46
  of told her, hey, we root for Ohio State and she'll say
• 4:48
  Buckeyes, Buckeyes. But last night she was into the
• 4:51
  game, she was wanting the Chiefs to win.
• 4:54
  She was looking at the score and saying, you know what points do
• 4:56
  we need? Do we need a, you know, three
• 4:58
  points. I'm trying to explain to her
• 4:59
  what a touchdown is extra points.

  So that was kind of fun. Also, I didn't get to watch all
• 5:05
  of the commercials cause again we're kind of moving around.

  We're eating, putting my son down for bed, got my daughter
• 5:12
  getting drinks and all that. I am a little groggy, not going
• 5:15
  to lie. I usually drink a few beers
• 5:16
  Friday and Saturday. This weekend I did Friday,
• 5:20
  Saturday and Sunday it is the Super Bowl.
• 5:22
  So I'm a little little little groggy this this morning, but of
• 5:27
  the commercials I saw and I guess I didn't see a lot of
• 5:30
  them. Usually commercial time, I'm
• 5:32
  going up, get up to go to the bathroom and all that.
• 5:34
  But the Dunkin' Donuts commercial, which I re watched
• 5:37
  this morning, was really, really funny.
• 5:39
  And you talk about star power also.
• 5:43
  Was it Jack Harlow at the beginning?
• 5:44
  I don't even know who the guy at the beginning was in the car,
• 5:47
  but you have Ben Affleck, you have Jlo, you have Fat Joe, you
• 5:53
  have Tom Brady, you have Matt Damon.
• 5:55
  Really funny commercial if you saw it.
• 5:57
  So they're in a recording studio and basically Ben Affleck and
• 6:01
  his buddies are trying to be a boy band called the What The
• 6:04
  Dunk Kings. You have on the keyboard of the
• 6:07
  DJ is Tom Brady. You have Matt Damon, and he's
• 6:11
  basically apologizing that he has to even be there.
• 6:13
  And he's like, it's really hard to be your friend.
• 6:16
  There's a line where Matt Damon gives his famous, you know,
• 6:19
  instead of how do you like them apples, how do you like them
• 6:21
  Donuts? And he plays it off really funny
• 6:23
  because he's embarrassed. That was a funny commercial.

  I can't remember any other ones that really kind of caught my

  So I thought it was OK. Cool to see Ludacris.

  Nothing Fantastic. I do think they should, they

  should mix it up more with, you know, R&B one year, R&B slash

  rap one year, maybe more of a rock band type.

  So Kelsey's mad. He's not on the field.

  He's fired up. The Chiefs are losing at that

  point. He's not catching passes.

  He goes over to Andy Reid, kind of goes to grab him by the arm,

  it looked like, and bumps him hard.

  I think it's fair to say probably bumped him harder than

  he wanted to, but maybe he wanted to look, get in his

  kitchen a little bit. Not a good look.

  That doesn't really bother me that much.

  Look, this is the biggest game in sport.

  Everything's on the line. These are men, not machines.

  To quote Tony Larussa. Everybody's crazy, fired up,

  crazy pressure. Kelsey wants to win.

  Andy Reid wants to win again. Not a great look.

  They're apologizing afterwards. But to me, that's not a huge

  deal. That's kind of just that's

  competition, man. That's what happens.

  Again, I'm not saying it's a good thing, but I don't think

  it's this huge deal either. Oh, I think we got to give

  credit when a game is well officiated, because when it's

  not, that's all we talk about. Now.

  I I could be wrong again. I I watched the whole thing.

  I can't remember any egregious bad calls after the game.

  I'm going on social media. I'm going on X I'm not seeing a

  lot of people complaining about any missed calls or this

  happened or that happened. So I think, look, we rip on

  officials and referees all the time when they're bad.

  I think you got to give them credit that this was a very well

  officiated game. Every time they threw a flag,

  when you'd see the replay, you go, OK, that was a flag, so well
• 9:45
  done to the zebras, Taylor Swift, None of this ever

  bothered me at all. I don't care if you show her

  after every time Travis Kelsey catches a pass, whatever it is,

  she's a superstar. She's global.

  And look, she probably brought a lot of new eyeballs to the Super

  Bowl if all these Swifties who aren't football fans or

  watching. And by the way, like I said, my,

  my daughter, she's not really into music yet.

  She's 6. But let's say down the road she

  is a Taylor Swift fan. You can see a girl 9/10/11

  doesn't know anything about football.

  Oh, Taylor Swift's going to be there.

  Let's let's check it out. So I think from a football

  viewership standpoint, attracting new fans, that's only

  a good thing if you're hating on Taylor Swift.

  Honestly, I hate to say it, if you're hating on Taylor Swift,

  you, you got bigger problems, man.

  If that bothers you, first of all, these people are super

  political. Usually that are really against

  State fan. So watching Joey Bosa, first he

  was on that Ezekiel Elliott, the national championship team, and

  then brother Nick Bosa, who's better?

  If you're watching that game, how many times did Nick Bosa?

  He didn't get the sacks, but he was pressuring Patrick Mahomes

  every play. It seemed like every play.

  He's diving after him. He's forcing Patrick Mahomes to

  throw it away. He's forcing Patrick Mahomes to

  get rid of it before he he wants to.

  That's one of those things where again, I'm not pretending I'm

  Johnny Football, but when you look at that game and you see

  that Nick Bosa had had no sacks but two tackles for losses and

  you go, OK, you didn't, you didn't get a sack.

  That doesn't tell you anything about the impact he had on that

  game. That dude was wreaking havoc all

  game long. He was in the backfield when he

  would contain there and and Mahomes couldn't get out of the

  pocket. He was influencing almost every

  single play. Nick Bose is an absolute

  monster. So again, I have nothing against

  the 49ers. It wouldn't have bothered me if

  if they'd have won. Brock Purdy seems like a cool

  dude. Christian McCaffrey seems like a

  really cool dude as well. But oh, George Kittle.

  I'm a huge fan of George Kittle. I saw a tweet yesterday which

  basically said something like Patrick Mahomes is becoming

  Michael Jordan In the sense, In the sense that he and I can't

  remember who said this. So I'm not trying to take their

  credit, but in the sense that he's influencing what everybody

  else does in the league in terms of if you're going to win a

  championship, you basically have to have the perfect team,

  especially in the AFC, because there's going to be a lot of
• 14:23
  years Mahomes probably gets, the Super Bowl doesn't win.

  But Mahomes and the Chiefs are so good right now that for the

  next five years, you would think the Super Bowl, you're going to
• 14:33
  start by saying they're the favorite.

  They should be at least, and the Super Bowl is going to go
• 14:37
  through them. So you're going to have to catch
• 14:39
  them where they make a mistake, there's an injury or your team
• 14:43
  is perfect. But it does seem like if you go

  to the last five years, the Chiefs are basically going to
• 14:49
  win the Super Bowl unless you have a perfect season from
• 14:52
  somebody else or something weird happens.

  And then, and I agree with that, it it seems like right now, Look

  if if you had to bet you think Patrick Mahomes is done winning

  Super Bowls, I don't know what the over under would be.

  I'd probably put it at 1 1/2. The dude's 28.

  He's 28. He's going to win.

  I'll guarantee you right now he's going to win at least one

  more Super Bowl, not even to say, oh, he's going to win

  three. That's really hard to do.

  I'd probably put the overrunner at 1 1/2.

  I do think he's going to win one more Super Bowl 2.

  somebody else coming up. You can have another team that

  starts to really knock on the door.

  Can they start to kind of figure it out?

  Who else, Who else would you put up there in terms of the best,

  the best competition for Mahomes over the next five years?

  Hey, if Brock Purdy's the real deal, the 49ers have a great

  coaching staff. They have a lot of weapons,

  although McCaffrey has a running back.

  The shelf life's not not super long on guys like that that take

  I mean, Debo's a stud. I think the 49ers aren't going

  anywhere if Brock Purdy's the real deal, which he looks like.
