- 2:05Speaker 1: grace of God. Amen. And He's trustworthy his word. When
- 2:09Speaker 1: he speaks a word over your life. Just trust that word,
- 2:13Speaker 1: Activate that word, respond to that word, pray, seek, knock, ask.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Everything that God has for you is good. But what
- 2:21Speaker 1: this world offers is not good. Amen, It's not always good.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Some people get a temporary time of pleasure, a temporary
- 2:28Speaker 1: time of happiness, a temporary time of good results, financial
- 2:33Speaker 1: breakthroughs temporarily. But when you're in the Kingdom of God,
- 2:36Speaker 1: everything's eternal. So let's wait the options here. Do you
- 2:39Speaker 1: want eternal things good? You want temporary things good? Think
- 2:44Speaker 1: about it. Amen. So we're here in the Morning Devo,
- 2:47Speaker 1: and today we're gonna be talking about I have a
- 2:51Speaker 1: question that I've been asking people lately brothers and sisters
- 2:55Speaker 1: in Christ and some other people. The question is, will
- 2:59Speaker 1: God for give an unrepented nation? In other words, will
- 3:03Speaker 1: God forgive a nation that never repented? Does God do that?
- 3:08Speaker 1: We're gonna be a Second Peter, chapter number three, verse nine,
- 3:11Speaker 1: Second Peter, Chapter three, verse number nine. Today in the morning, devo,
- 3:15Speaker 1: Will God forgive an unrepented nation? And for some reason,
- 3:21Speaker 1: I don't know why, but it seems like my titles
- 3:26Speaker 1: don't update anymore. Something has changed, ladies and gentlemen. So
- 3:30Speaker 1: when you're on these social media platforms, when you're doing
- 3:32Speaker 1: lives a man, you gotta be mindful of the changes
- 3:35Speaker 1: that are being made. Evidently a man, something changed on
- 3:41Speaker 1: social media networks that it doesn't allow you to put
- 3:44Speaker 1: the title anymore, just the description. But I'll be looking
- 3:47Speaker 1: into that. You know how your brother gets when I
- 3:50Speaker 1: see something not right? Amen? So will God forgive an
- 3:54Speaker 1: unrepented nation? I'm calling this one unrepentant a man. We'll
- 3:58Speaker 1: get to what that means in a couple of minutes.
- 4:00Speaker 1: So you have any questions, comments, concerns, prayer requests. Don't
- 4:04Speaker 1: hesitate to leave it on a live chat. That's what
- 4:06Speaker 1: we're here for. We connect. We connect, and we connect
- 4:09Speaker 1: and we build each other up. Man, we don't beat
- 4:11Speaker 1: each other down here on the morning Devo. We're also
- 4:15Speaker 1: live at live that Sore Winners with a ze do
- 4:17Speaker 1: org if we want to see what's going on on
- 4:20Speaker 1: that website. It's a real calm down website, no distractions, Amen,
- 4:25Speaker 1: it's a live chat there. There's an interactive Bible right
- 4:28Speaker 1: there online that you could use while we're going through
- 4:31Speaker 1: the scriptures. Amen. And man, I'm glad you're here. Let's
- 4:35Speaker 1: move forward. Let's move forward and victory knowing that God
- 4:38Speaker 1: is in us and working through us. Amen. Every day
- 4:41Speaker 1: we're being transformed, and every day we're being renewed and
- 4:46Speaker 1: restored and redeemed and men, and we're becoming more and
- 4:49Speaker 1: more like our Lord Jesus. That's the ultimate goal, right
- 4:53Speaker 1: to please God and to do his will. So let's
- 4:56Speaker 1: pray first. After we pray, we'll shut us out for
- 4:58Speaker 1: like sixty seconds. Help me out, Help me share this
- 5:01Speaker 1: out to as many people as possible. As a matter
- 5:03Speaker 1: of fact, let me share this to the group to
- 5:05Speaker 1: let the group know I'm still here. Amen, And we
- 5:08Speaker 1: could move from there and we'll pray. Let me get
- 5:11Speaker 1: to it here we go all right, and now the
- 5:14Speaker 1: group knows that we're live. So Father out, Thank you
- 5:17Speaker 1: so much for your life, giving word, your life giving
- 5:19Speaker 1: the gospel. Thank you, Lord God for keeping us, molding us,
- 5:23Speaker 1: transforming us, renewing us, restoring us, guiding us, guarding us,
- 5:27Speaker 1: protecting us, giving us everything we need to live this
- 5:30Speaker 1: life out and guidling this and righteousness. Thank you, Lord
- 5:33Speaker 1: God that you have never abandoned us, and your intention
- 5:35Speaker 1: is never to abandon your children, but to give us
- 5:39Speaker 1: life and life in abundance. Thank you, Lord God for
- 5:42Speaker 1: guarding and guiding and protecting me and my family and
- 5:45Speaker 1: every single family that's represented on the other side of
- 5:47Speaker 1: this screen and on the other side of this might
- 5:50Speaker 1: touch their hearts, touch their lives. We're new, giving them
- 5:53Speaker 1: a new start if they need a new starting, areas
- 5:55Speaker 1: and relationships and finances and their health whatever it has
- 5:59Speaker 1: them bound. Lood God, that you were setting free from
- 6:02Speaker 1: that of those shackles and bounds, and that you will
- 6:05Speaker 1: continue to know. Let them know that when you are there,
- 6:08Speaker 1: when the spirit of the Lord is in the building
- 6:11Speaker 1: and its present, there's liberty in this freedom. Thank you,
- 6:13Speaker 1: Lord God for your word. Thank you Lord God, that
- 6:16Speaker 1: we could repent, and we could turn from our wickedness
- 6:19Speaker 1: and turn to your righteousness and know that we are forgiven,
- 6:22Speaker 1: and we can move forward in eternal life and eternal
- 6:25Speaker 1: matters and things that really matter to our lives and
- 6:28Speaker 1: to our families. So I pray peace be still over
- 6:31Speaker 1: every single person that's going through anxiety, depression, or that's
- 6:35Speaker 1: worrying or in fear. Pray peace be still over their lives.
- 6:39Speaker 1: I pray Holy Spirit, that you will move in their
- 6:41Speaker 1: hearts and minds as you move in my heart and
- 6:44Speaker 1: mind as well, And that the spirit of the Lord
- 6:46Speaker 1: will reign in every situation in our lives, and that
- 6:49Speaker 1: we will be united as a united kingdom, a united front,
- 6:53Speaker 1: a united body, and we'll move forward in victory knowing
- 6:57Speaker 1: that you are our Lord and our savior and our
- 7:00Speaker 1: ultimate King of king and Lord of Lords. Thank you,
- 7:04Speaker 1: Lord Jesus, Thank you so much for what you do
- 7:06Speaker 1: and what you continue to do in our hearts and
- 7:08Speaker 1: our minds. As we move forward in Jesus name, praise
- 7:11Speaker 1: by faith and all those who agree, we say amen
- 7:13Speaker 1: to the Amen. Sister Joanne, I see you, good morning, God,
- 7:16Speaker 1: bless you. Welcome back to the Morning Devo. Hopefully this
- 7:19Speaker 1: week will be a week of inspiration, a week of power,
- 7:23Speaker 1: a week of authority, a week of prayer, a week
- 7:25Speaker 1: of answer prayer, a week of praise, a week of worship. Amen.
- 7:30Speaker 1: So we can move forward, moving forward towards the end
- 7:33Speaker 1: of this year. So let's go forward sixty seconds. Help
- 7:35Speaker 1: me share this out. When we come back, we'll get
- 7:38Speaker 1: right into Second Peter. What did I say, Second Peter,
- 7:41Speaker 1: Chapter number three and verse number nine. I'll be very
- 7:46Speaker 1: back right. Let's go for it. Let's see what the
- 9:32Speaker 1: word of God has as I learned, I was trying
- 9:35Speaker 1: to figure out how to put that title on my
- 9:39Speaker 1: on my description. But listen to the title is called
- 9:42Speaker 1: are repented? Today in the morning Devot, We're gonna move
- 9:45Speaker 1: in word and man and see what God has to say.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Like in America where I'm broadcasting from did America, I
- 9:53Speaker 1: will repent for the past. And I know we like
- 9:57Speaker 1: to quote the scripture that if God hears our prayers,
- 10:03Speaker 1: he will heal our land. I'm paraphrasing if we humble
- 10:05Speaker 1: ourselves and pray that God would heal our land. But
- 10:10Speaker 1: is that a promise for a arm repentent nation, or
- 10:14Speaker 1: is that just something that we're wishing and hoping that
- 10:17Speaker 1: that word will cover us. Well, it's an interesting question.
- 10:21Speaker 1: I I think a lot. Amen. If you don't know me,
- 10:24Speaker 1: you know I'm a thinker. If you do know me,
- 10:26Speaker 1: you know I'm gonna think. If you don't know me,
- 10:28Speaker 1: now you know I'm a thinker. I think a lot.
- 10:29Speaker 1: I question a lot of things. Amen. And I'm very observant.
- 10:34Speaker 1: And I watch I watch it. I pray, like the
- 10:36Speaker 1: scripture says, Amen, and I come to these these places
- 10:40Speaker 1: in my walk that like, can God forgive and unrepented nation? Man, Well,
- 10:46Speaker 1: let's start with ourselves before we go to the nation,
- 10:49Speaker 1: and start with our own lives. Amen, I'm gonna see
- 10:53Speaker 1: what the apostle Peter has to say about it. Sister Joys,
- 10:55Speaker 1: good morning, God bless you. Welcome back to the Morning Devo,
- 10:58Speaker 1: my sister and my friend. It's good to you. Let's
- 11:02Speaker 1: see let's get this on the screen. For those who
- 11:04Speaker 1: are just listening, welcome back. And those who are listening
- 11:06Speaker 1: on the podcast, thank you so much. Make sure you
- 11:08Speaker 1: subscribe to my email lists. You can find out that
- 11:12Speaker 1: so Win is with a ZA, RG and E. Scroll
- 11:15Speaker 1: to the middle of the website and you'll see the banner.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Click that banner one two three. It takes less than
- 11:20Speaker 1: twenty seconds. You're name an email address so I can
- 11:23Speaker 1: get in contact with you off the matrix, outside of
- 11:26Speaker 1: social media and these platforms. Amen, So unrepentant, that's what
- 11:30Speaker 1: we're calling this. And unrepentant means that you're not remonseful,
- 11:36Speaker 1: that you're not sorry for what you've did and what
- 11:39Speaker 1: you've done wrong, and you're unrepentant. You're not remonseful. You
- 11:43Speaker 1: continue to do the same things over and over again,
- 11:46Speaker 1: as if there is no God, as if there is
- 11:49Speaker 1: no judgment, as if there is no morality, as if
- 11:52Speaker 1: there is no direction, no purpose. But God has morality
- 11:56Speaker 1: on lock, he has a purpose on lock. He has
- 11:59Speaker 1: a morality, our purpose, our destiny, a man. He's ready
- 12:03Speaker 1: to forgive a nation, a person, a family, a life,
- 12:08Speaker 1: but we have to repent. So if you stay in
- 12:10Speaker 1: an unrepented state of life, you're not going to receive
- 12:16Speaker 1: the will of God over your life. You're not going
- 12:17Speaker 1: to receive the forgiveness because you're not asking to be forgiven.
- 12:21Speaker 1: Think about it. Will God forgive and unrepentant nation, Let's
- 12:25Speaker 1: go let's see what the word has here, Second Peter,
- 12:30Speaker 1: chapter number three, and this is verse number second Peter three,
- 12:39Speaker 1: Verse number nine. The Bible says the Lord does not
- 12:42Speaker 1: delay as though he were unable to act, and is
- 12:47Speaker 1: not slow about his promise as some count slowness, but
- 12:54Speaker 1: is extraordinarily patient towards you, not wishing for any to perish,
- 13:01Speaker 1: but for all to come to repentance. In other words,
- 13:05Speaker 1: people be like, why would God allow this? That? And
- 13:08Speaker 1: the third? I know you heard it. I've heard that
- 13:10Speaker 1: a thousand times. I respect the question, But the other
- 13:15Speaker 1: question on the other side before we even answer that,
- 13:18Speaker 1: Why does God allow this? And why God? Why doesn't
- 13:21Speaker 1: God wipe us all out? Why doesn't God just start
- 13:25Speaker 1: all over again? Why does God keep us alive? Why
- 13:27Speaker 1: does God keep the nations that are hurling insults blasphem
- 13:33Speaker 1: his name, that are for securing his children? Why do
- 13:38Speaker 1: those nations still stand? Instead of asking why God allows
- 13:42Speaker 1: evil or death and pain, or why does he have
- 13:46Speaker 1: so much grace? You ever thought about that? Well, some
- 13:50Speaker 1: people think he's unable to ask. Some people think that
- 13:53Speaker 1: he's slow about his promises. Some people think that he's
- 13:58Speaker 1: not going to show up. Some people will don't even
- 14:00Speaker 1: think he's real or what the word says. God's patient
- 14:05Speaker 1: towards me and you. He doesn't wish for any of
- 14:08Speaker 1: us to perish. He wishes that all will come to repentance.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Because once you come to repentance, Amen, you find a
- 14:15Speaker 1: forgiveness of Christ. And then you're made right with God
- 14:19Speaker 1: because of the Son. You have the peace with God.
- 14:22Speaker 1: Because you have the peace with the Son. Amen. And
- 14:25Speaker 1: you have to come to a place that you're going
- 14:27Speaker 1: to repent. If you don't repent, if a nation doesn't repent,
- 14:30Speaker 1: a person doesn't repent, a family doesn't repent, we're not
- 14:33Speaker 1: going to get the goods that God wants to give us. Amen.
- 14:37Speaker 1: So it's about forgiveness. It's about turning from the wickedness
- 14:41Speaker 1: that we are so accustomed to living. Sometimes in this world,
- 14:45Speaker 1: especially the world system, that we never come to a
- 14:48Speaker 1: place of repentance, and that's a horrible place. I don't
- 14:51Speaker 1: want anybody then to live their life like that. Why
- 14:54Speaker 1: would anybody live in an unforgiven state? Why would anybody
- 14:58Speaker 1: live without a purpose? Why would anybody want to live
- 15:01Speaker 1: if they don't know who they are in Christ, who
- 15:03Speaker 1: they are their purpose? What's morality, what's the meaning of life,
- 15:07Speaker 1: and what's the destiny after we leave this place called earth.
- 15:11Speaker 1: So the concept of forgiveness is all up in this message.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Right For a nation that doesn't repent, there is no
- 15:21Speaker 1: concept in their hearts or their minds for forgiveness. The
- 15:26Speaker 1: New Testament of forgiveness is primarily discussed in the context
- 15:31Speaker 1: of individual like, one on one individual faith in Jesus Christ.
- 15:37Speaker 1: So you're here a preacher, you're healing evangelist like me saying,
- 15:41Speaker 1: come to the Lord, ask them to forgive you. Go
- 15:43Speaker 1: to the Lord, ask them to forgive you, and He
- 15:44Speaker 1: will forgive you, and He'll give you His spirit to
- 15:47Speaker 1: live inside of you, to live out a Christian honoring
- 15:52Speaker 1: the Father of Life. Amen. In other words, you're going
- 15:55Speaker 1: to be forgiven for your past, and God will take
- 15:58Speaker 1: that past, wipe it clean. Amen. And from that point
- 16:01Speaker 1: on you'll live a free life in Christ, a free
- 16:04Speaker 1: life through the spirit of God. Holy Spirit, God will
- 16:07Speaker 1: guide you. So forgiveness is discussed in the context of
- 16:11Speaker 1: individual faith in Jesus Christ. Now listen to this. Each
- 16:14Speaker 1: person is invited to receive forgiveness. How through belief in
- 16:21Speaker 1: Jesus and his finished work not unfinished work. His finished
- 16:25Speaker 1: work on the Cross. You can see that Acts chapter ten,
- 16:29Speaker 1: verse forty three. I'll just cite the verses Acts chapter ten,
- 16:32Speaker 1: verse forty three and Ephesians Chapter one, verse number seven.
- 16:36Speaker 1: Check it out for yourself when you have time. So
- 16:38Speaker 1: when it comes to nations, When it comes to nations,
- 16:42Speaker 1: the New Testament New Covenant does not specifically address the
- 16:48Speaker 1: idea of God forgiving entire nations in the same way
- 16:54Speaker 1: God forgives individuals. To think about it, what nation that
- 16:58Speaker 1: you have ever seen in your lifetime, or in the
- 17:01Speaker 1: history of the world, or in the Bible that has
- 17:04Speaker 1: totally been forgiven all? Wait, ah, wait, what nation? You
- 17:11Speaker 1: can see? Some nations that God did of re bibles
- 17:14Speaker 1: and turned hearts back to the Father. Amen Joonah, for instance,
- 17:19Speaker 1: he didn't want to He was running from God. He
- 17:21Speaker 1: didn't want to do what God told him to do.
- 17:22Speaker 1: He said, I'm not going to go preaching that wicked nation.
- 17:25Speaker 1: Try to run for God gets swallowed up by a
- 17:27Speaker 1: big fish. A man that ends up over to where
- 17:30Speaker 1: God told him to go in the first place, preaches
- 17:33Speaker 1: and there was a big, tremendous revival of repentance. The
- 17:37Speaker 1: people in that nation of Nineveh were repenting a man,
- 17:41Speaker 1: and then God moved in Ninevah and the hearts of
- 17:43Speaker 1: people were changed. But did God forgive the whole nation?
- 17:46Speaker 1: I don't know. Go check it out for yourself. It's interesting, right,
- 17:51Speaker 1: So instead of thinking about the whole nation a man,
- 17:54Speaker 1: which is where you live, where you're from, your country, Right,
- 17:59Speaker 1: It'll be a amazing to see a spark in America
- 18:02Speaker 1: just be rising up like a repentance. That would be
- 18:07Speaker 1: an amazing sight to see. I mean, I want to
- 18:10Speaker 1: see it in my lifetime. What about you? So forgive
- 18:13Speaker 1: me for looking that way, and I want to make
- 18:14Speaker 1: sure the other things is running. But individually, I think
- 18:19Speaker 1: that's where it's at. When people talk about revival, I
- 18:22Speaker 1: think they're turning about individuals that are feeling the power,
- 18:27Speaker 1: sensing the power, responding to the power and authority of
- 18:29Speaker 1: God's word and repenting and turning towards His righteousness and
- 18:34Speaker 1: turning away from their wickedness. That's a revival. There's a
- 18:36Speaker 1: revival happening right now. Amen. Some people say in an
- 18:41Speaker 1: area of the country, forgot where this passes from, that
- 18:44Speaker 1: this is a revival actually happens untelevised it's unnoticed, unrecognized.
- 18:50Speaker 1: But a lot of millennials, a lot of young people,
- 18:52Speaker 1: young adults are swamping this pastor I'll get I'll get
- 18:56Speaker 1: you the information in the inbox and the chat later. Amen,
- 19:00Speaker 1: And is sweeping the nation and a lot of people
- 19:02Speaker 1: are not talking about it. But when you talk about
- 19:05Speaker 1: a nation, Amen, you have to think about it. What
- 19:09Speaker 1: nation right has ever been fully forgiven by God? Because
- 19:15Speaker 1: I don't think that's the idea here. The ideas that
- 19:17Speaker 1: God will want to change you and change me individually.
- 19:22Speaker 1: And then when he can change like the man of
- 19:24Speaker 1: the house, the family usually lines up with what God
- 19:28Speaker 1: is doing. If a man fails the house, the family
- 19:32Speaker 1: usually fails, I mean from my findings in the scripture.
- 19:36Speaker 1: But when God builds up a man and builds up
- 19:38Speaker 1: a woman to lead their family a man, there is repentance.
- 19:43Speaker 1: First of all from the parents. They repent it turned
- 19:46Speaker 1: to the Lord. They're safe, they're born again. Now they're
- 19:49Speaker 1: looking at their children, offspring, relatives, and they're preaching the
- 19:52Speaker 1: same message of repentance to their family, to their kids,
- 19:57Speaker 1: to their relatives, to their neighborhood, to their neighbors, and
- 20:01Speaker 1: to their city, to their state, and then eventually it
- 20:05Speaker 1: go through the nations. Amen. I think that's how God
- 20:08Speaker 1: gets people to discover who he is through other people
- 20:13Speaker 1: who've experienced who God is in their own lives. Right,
- 20:17Speaker 1: we don't make things up and be like, let me
- 20:19Speaker 1: just say this to get people to look at me
- 20:23Speaker 1: every time I come up out here. Man, First of all,
- 20:26Speaker 1: it's early in the morning for me, a man, from
- 20:28Speaker 1: the time it's recording when I'm going live. I don't
- 20:30Speaker 1: want to really grab too much attention. I don't get
- 20:32Speaker 1: a lot of attention. I don't want a lot of attention.
- 20:35Speaker 1: I want to turn people to discover the scriptures for themselves.
- 20:40Speaker 1: I don't want anybody to be without these scriptures and
- 20:43Speaker 1: their life and their heart to miss out on what
- 20:46Speaker 1: God is truly saying in their lives. So when it
- 20:48Speaker 1: comes to nations, the New Testament does not specifically address
- 20:51Speaker 1: the idea of God forgiving entire nations in the same
- 20:55Speaker 1: way it does individuals. The focus is on the message
- 21:02Speaker 1: of reconciliation and the call for all people, regardless of nationality,
- 21:09Speaker 1: to turn to God through Christ. Second Corinthians, Chapter five,
- 21:14Speaker 1: A man, verson, I don't know what this thing is
- 21:16Speaker 1: talking about. Second Corinthians, chapter number five, Verses nineteen and twenty. Right,
- 21:23Speaker 1: you can see that in that scripture right there, in
- 21:26Speaker 1: those scriptures in verse number seventeen, the oldest that you
- 21:30Speaker 1: become a new creature in Christ. I'm paraphrasing. Go check
- 21:32Speaker 1: it out for yourself. And He wants that for every
- 21:35Speaker 1: individual that here is his message, the Gospel message. He
- 21:39Speaker 1: wants them to be renewed. He wants them to be
- 21:42Speaker 1: reminded of who God is and who God can be
- 21:45Speaker 1: in your life and my life. God in us Us
- 21:49Speaker 1: in Christ, an amazing union. There is no other religious
- 21:54Speaker 1: idea or religion or religious leader that can do what
- 21:57Speaker 1: God has done through his son, Jesus Christ, reconciliation, making
- 22:02Speaker 1: things back right, making things right with the Father through
- 22:06Speaker 1: the Son. And because that happens in your life and
- 22:09Speaker 1: in my life, we receive Holy Spirit God to live
- 22:12Speaker 1: inside of us, the hope of glory. The Bible says,
- 22:15Speaker 1: without Holy Spirit in this earth a man, this earth
- 22:18Speaker 1: is going to burn up quick. But since we're here,
- 22:23Speaker 1: we're holding back amen destruction. We're holding back total evil.
- 22:29Speaker 1: We're holding back of the devil and his fallen angels.
- 22:33Speaker 1: We're holding back things that should be happening, but are
- 22:37Speaker 1: not happening because Holy Spirit is living inside of us.
- 22:40Speaker 1: So we are a nation of God, Amen, not a
- 22:44Speaker 1: nation of this world. We're a holy priesthood. We're the
- 22:46Speaker 1: righteous ones are called out ones. Amen. We are the
- 22:50Speaker 1: salt and light of this earth. We are the redeemed.
- 22:53Speaker 1: We have a purpose, and God has a plan. And
- 22:56Speaker 1: when we go into his will a man, the will
- 22:59Speaker 1: of the Father, we'll go through the sun and be
- 23:02Speaker 1: reminded to us and the commandments will go to us
- 23:05Speaker 1: by way of Holy Spirit. We don't lose in this
- 23:08Speaker 1: battle of life. Manuel, God bless you. Good morning, Imitators
- 23:12Speaker 1: of Christ. Yes, we have to imitate what the Lord did. Amen,
- 23:15Speaker 1: imitate God, Amen all the time. Yes, Judy Barretto Matos,
- 23:21Speaker 1: God bless you. Amen. Yes, good morning. Welcome to the morning,
- 23:24Speaker 1: Devo the indwelling Holy Spirit. Man Will says, Yes. The
- 23:29Speaker 1: emphasis is on personal repentance, personal repentance and faith as
- 23:34Speaker 1: the means to receive forgiveness and answer into a relationship,
- 23:40Speaker 1: not a religion. Enter into a relationship with God, not
- 23:44Speaker 1: enter into religion about God or about a deity, or
- 23:48Speaker 1: about a God or a I do know this world
- 23:51Speaker 1: has too many idols. We don't serve idols. We don't
- 23:53Speaker 1: worship idols, never praise in no statues. Right, don't have
- 23:57Speaker 1: to wear chains for protection and bracelets and all that stuff.
- 24:00Speaker 1: None of that. What we do is we have a
- 24:02Speaker 1: relationship with God himself. Amen through the sun. Good morning,
- 24:09Speaker 1: my brother Mike, Good morning, God bless you, bro good morning.
- 24:11Speaker 1: It's good to see in the morning. Devo. Manuel says,
- 24:14Speaker 1: in a wicked world, we are the lights in the earth,
- 24:18Speaker 1: in Christ, Jesus, in Christ, Jesus, very key word. We're
- 24:22Speaker 1: in Christ. So we shine this blazing light. Because the
- 24:25Speaker 1: light of Christ is a blazing light. We shine that
- 24:28Speaker 1: light in darkness. Right. The Old Testament contains instances where
- 24:35Speaker 1: God dealt with nations collectively. And this is where a
- 24:39Speaker 1: lot of people get tripped up. They say, why would
- 24:41Speaker 1: God order his people to wipe out nations? And an
- 24:45Speaker 1: old coveny you see nations getting wiped out, as if
- 24:48Speaker 1: God woke up one day and then the next day
- 24:50Speaker 1: he told his people wipe his nation out, as if
- 24:53Speaker 1: it didn't take one hundred, two hundred and three hundred
- 24:55Speaker 1: four hundred years of people acting crazy and chaos happening,
- 24:58Speaker 1: and then God responded to that chaos when he heard
- 25:01Speaker 1: the cries of his people. He responds, why is it
- 25:05Speaker 1: when God responds to nations that are in wickedness and
- 25:08Speaker 1: in all kinds of vile things happening in those nations?
- 25:12Speaker 1: And God responds and does something, Why is it that
- 25:15Speaker 1: people say, well, then God's not just God? How could
- 25:18Speaker 1: God do that? Why would God do this? And why
- 25:20Speaker 1: do we question God when the nations don't want him?
- 25:24Speaker 1: So he was responding to their wish. They don't want God,
- 25:27Speaker 1: so he gives them up to the idols and to
- 25:32Speaker 1: the nations, and they self destruct, or he'll move in
- 25:35Speaker 1: those nations. But in the Old Covenant's instances where God
- 25:39Speaker 1: dealt with nations collectively, such as Israel, the New Testament
- 25:45Speaker 1: shifts the focus to the individual response to the gospel.
- 25:50Speaker 1: In the Old Covenant, you see God dealing with nations prophets.
- 25:53Speaker 1: He's using prophets to tell the nation, listen, you better
- 25:56Speaker 1: turn away from that, you better turn away from this,
- 25:59Speaker 1: don't mix with those people. People, don't mix with that,
- 26:01Speaker 1: don't deal with these people. And what happens the people
- 26:05Speaker 1: of Isabel at the time in an Old Covenant and
- 26:07Speaker 1: men they started doing everything all a lot of things
- 26:10Speaker 1: that God told them not to do, and therefore they
- 26:13Speaker 1: get the results of living in an armor penton state.
- 26:17Speaker 1: They're not without remorse, without any care, no fear of
- 26:20Speaker 1: the Lord. Right. What happens, Well, they get into a
- 26:23Speaker 1: lot of trouble. We call it beef over here, right,
- 26:26Speaker 1: It gets a lot of beef, a lot of trouble. Amen,
- 26:29Speaker 1: And yeah, their immorality. So God doesn't want none of
- 26:33Speaker 1: that for us. God wants us to shift our focus
- 26:37Speaker 1: and look at our individual life and respond to what
- 26:41Speaker 1: God is saying, the call for each person to recognize
- 26:45Speaker 1: their need for a savior and to receive the forgiveness
- 26:49Speaker 1: offered through Jesus Christ. Acts Chapter twenty six. I'm just
- 26:54Speaker 1: going to quote the scriptures because you know, is a
- 26:56Speaker 1: morning devo. I can't get deep into all these scriptures,
- 26:58Speaker 1: but you could quote chapter twenty six, Verses seventeen and eighteen.
- 27:04Speaker 1: So the bottom line is this, ladies and gentlemen. Ultimately,
- 27:08Speaker 1: God's desire, his heart is for all people to come
- 27:12Speaker 1: to repentance and faith, experiencing His grace and forgiveness. And
- 27:17Speaker 1: that's where we came to Second Peter, Chapter number three,
- 27:20Speaker 1: Verse number nine, when God says, listen, I'm not slow
- 27:23Speaker 1: with my promises. I know what's going on. Amen. God
- 27:29Speaker 1: doesn't wish that anyone perished first and foremost, because He
- 27:32Speaker 1: created life for us to live, not for us to die.
- 27:34Speaker 1: When someone dies. That's why we all feel differently. We
- 27:37Speaker 1: all feel a certain way. It's not supposed to be.
- 27:39Speaker 1: We have that instinct in our hearts. We know when
- 27:42Speaker 1: somebody dies it's never supposed to be that way. That's
- 27:44Speaker 1: why it hurts people going through mourning. There's a lot
- 27:47Speaker 1: of pain, there's a lot of unbelief, there's a lot
- 27:49Speaker 1: of questions when someone dies because we know, deep down
- 27:53Speaker 1: in our own hearts it was never supposed to be
- 27:55Speaker 1: that way. So God says he wished that numb perish,
- 27:59Speaker 1: But everyone repent and come to the same knowledge of
- 28:02Speaker 1: who he is. So the goal is the gospel, the message.
- 28:08Speaker 1: Everyone can be reached to another person. Each one reached one.
- 28:12Speaker 1: I used to hear priests, right Amen. Manuel says, they're
- 28:16Speaker 1: doing all kinds of things without repentance, and repentance is key, right.
- 28:22Speaker 1: I never met a person who's born again that didn't
- 28:25Speaker 1: first repent. Right. First, you have to stop all the
- 28:28Speaker 1: wickedness in your life. Stop what you're doing, turn from
- 28:32Speaker 1: that wickedness and make it like a one eight and
- 28:34Speaker 1: turn to the righteousness of God. When you repent, you
- 28:39Speaker 1: will see your life changed because you're going to the
- 28:42Speaker 1: one who could forgive you. When the individuals do that,
- 28:45Speaker 1: and it starts growing in your community, starts growing in
- 28:48Speaker 1: your family, starts growing in a city, starts growing in
- 28:51Speaker 1: a state, you're going to see the nations come to
- 28:53Speaker 1: repentance as well. It's like Christianity. It should be contagious.
- 29:01Speaker 1: We should be the contagion in a good way, of course,
- 29:04Speaker 1: because Christianity had its root. It was never a religion.
- 29:08Speaker 1: It was about a relationship with Jesus. Because that's why
- 29:12Speaker 1: when in the Book of Acts, when one hundred and
- 29:14Speaker 1: twenty won the Upper Room, when they received the Holy
- 29:17Speaker 1: Ghost and fire the tongues, they came out of there
- 29:20Speaker 1: in the afternoon, speaking in different languages, and the people
- 29:24Speaker 1: looked at them, saying, you guys drunk or something, And
- 29:27Speaker 1: the apostle was like, of course not. It's like, not
- 29:29Speaker 1: even in nighttime, not even the evening. It's brought daylight.
- 29:32Speaker 1: We're not drunk. And they were speaking in different tongues
- 29:34Speaker 1: of different dialects, and the people at the time, they
- 29:37Speaker 1: were like, how was it that these uneducated people know
- 29:41Speaker 1: my native tongue? But weren't they with Jesus? Those Christians,
- 29:46Speaker 1: those christ followers, they called us Christians. It was a
- 29:49Speaker 1: derogatory statement. They were insulting us, they were making fun
- 29:52Speaker 1: of us. So at the root of Christianity, it wasn't
- 29:55Speaker 1: never about religion. It was never about you know, speaking
- 29:58Speaker 1: in tongues, and it was about our relationship with Jesus.
- 30:02Speaker 1: They recognize that those people, those one hundred and twenty
- 30:05Speaker 1: that were now in the streets preaching the gospel, people
- 30:07Speaker 1: agett saved left and right, had a relationship with Jesus.
- 30:11Speaker 1: Repentance a spiritual relationship. Yes, so everybody, everyone can be
- 30:18Speaker 1: saved through the Gospel and through individual belief that forgiveness
- 30:23Speaker 1: is a thing that we could receive. And then a
- 30:26Speaker 1: nation can be in repentance, unrepentent nation. I truly don't
- 30:31Speaker 1: believe that God will forgive an unrepentent nation, but He'll
- 30:34Speaker 1: forgive a repented nation, a repented people. That's all I
- 30:38Speaker 1: have for you. I hope you go into the scriptures
- 30:40Speaker 1: for yourself, go into two. Peter Chatter number three. Read
- 30:43Speaker 1: the whole chapter for yourself, but amount of time I
- 30:45Speaker 1: got to get out of here. But God bless you all,
- 30:48Speaker 1: God keep you all, and remember always that God is good. Peace,
