A listener writes “This is a very brief sighting that happened to my husband and me in 1997 in Colorado. We had just moved back to Colorado Springs from Washington State. We were both raised in Colorado and were very familiar with the local wildlife.
When we first moved back, we stayed briefly at my husband’s parents’ house until we found the right home to buy.
Their house was on the northwest side of Colorado Springs, and the neighborhood was no stranger to wildlife. Deer, bears, and mountain lions were frequently spotted in the area.
