**Big SILVER News** 🐦🐦 You Must HEAR This! - (Silver SQUEEZE and Shortage) · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

0:00
We have a $200 per oz silver projection, but this one's
0:06
special. This is not from one of the
0:08
usual suspects. I'm going to share with you
0:11
later why we want to pay attention very closely to this
0:14
analyst that's calling for $200 per oz silver.
0:19
We're also going to talk about the big silver squeeze.
0:22
I'm going to give you some insights into that that you
0:25
don't want to miss and the silver shortage.
0:28
But first, I want to say thank you for joining me down here in
0:32
the basement. You're special, you're unique.
0:34
This is not possible without you.
0:37
It's a community. So thank you.
0:38
Thank you. Please subscribe to the channel,
0:40
give the video a thumbs up, turn on the bell notifications and
0:43
leave a comment in the comments section.
0:46
We read them. That's how we learn is from each
0:49
other. Let's start by talking about the
0:51
big silver squeeze. I've been digging into it.
0:54
You heard people say that, I don't know two weeks, 3 weeks
0:57
ago, we had a big silver squeeze.
0:58
Look, I'm in the camp that it was not a silver squeeze, OK?
1:03
We had a long term. I've heard a couple different
1:07
ways to describe it. I'll be curious what your
1:10
thoughts are on this. It was almost like a semi
1:13
squeeze or as we called it a squeeze or even heard someone
1:19
else describe it as a slow motion squeeze.
1:23
It's a good thing. The reason why we're pointing
1:25
that out is a squeeze in anything.
1:28
Silver, gold, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, whatever, right?
1:31
Is a sharp rocket ship up that is followed by a sharp rocket
1:35
ship down Now? Sure, maybe Daniel Golly from TD
1:39
Securities is correct and we're going to pull back to the mid
1:42
40s on silver. I'm not predicting that, OK, I
1:46
like the $200 silver prediction from a unusual suspect that
1:52
we're going to talk about a little bit later, right?
1:54
But, but the fact that we didn't have a sharp rise up, right?
1:59
And the reason why, right, is because right now I've been
2:02
digging into this, OK, this inventory situation between the
2:07
LDMA, the the Nimbullian Market Association, where it all kind
2:10
of started in London, England, and the COMEX in the US, that
2:14
that inventory imbalance. And that's what Daniel Golly
2:18
from TD Securities pointed out as his rationale for why we
2:22
could pull back into the $45.00 range.
2:24
It has been rectified. But that doesn't mean that the
2:28
silver price has to come down. The big key take away is this.
2:33
I don't think that we had a silver squeeze.
2:36
We may have had a silver squeeze like we talked about over the
2:41
last 3-4 months. And that's a good thing because
2:44
while the price did go up very quickly, right, it didn't go
2:48
straight up, right. And I believe that what we've
2:51
seen is a period of time where more and more and more people
2:54
have gotten into silver, right? And that we're building a
2:58
stronger and stronger base at a higher and higher level
3:02
possibly, OK, I don't want to scare you.
3:05
We pull back to 50, possibly we have pulled back to 45 or maybe
3:09
even $40 per oz. It's OK Butter cups, we'll be
3:14
OK. The long term situation remains
3:17
in place. Now let's move on.
3:19
We got a lot more to cover, including that $200 silver
3:23
projection from someone very special.
3:26
But let's first talk about a silver shortage.
3:29
This came from Sprott. Everybody knows Sprott, so we
3:32
pay attention to what Sprott has to say.
3:35
They put this on X quote. The next retail surge could
3:40
trigger a real silver shortage much sooner than people think.
3:46
That came from Andrew Sleigh. Let's just listen to him.
3:49
There's the key takeaways. This is about one minute long,
3:52
but I think very worth our listen.
3:54
And just following some other analysts around the world, I do
3:57
believe that when the next round of purchasing comes to the
4:01
public, so the retail spikes up a little bit and we have run on
4:06
on buying silver. I do think we are going to see a
4:09
shortage come around in the near future.
4:11
Don't know when, but I'm not thinking it's a year or two
4:14
away. I think we're going to see this
4:16
very soon and it's it's. Super interesting.
4:18
Time I do suggest people that you know with allocations that
4:22
means there's restrictions of what dealers can get in Canada
4:25
to to sell for product. The number one issue for people
4:29
is going to be availability of Silver Maple coins, in my
4:33
opinion, like that's the first thing we've seen before being
4:36
here that sells out first. And so if you are in the silver
4:40
market or thinking about getting into the silver market, that is
4:43
what I would be picking up first and foremost because once we
4:46
struggle to have those in stock, premiums are going to skyrocket
4:50
on that and. So when the general public wakes
4:53
up, what he's saying is silver Maple Leafs will be the first to
4:58
go. Guys, it's critical for us to
5:00
remember retail demand in the West, in the United States for
5:04
silver. We have not seen anything happen
5:07
yet. Don't forget, right?
5:09
We do this every single live stream when we get together.
5:13
The people that are out there, the other 96% of people, 98% of
5:18
people, your neighbors, your friends, think about them that
5:21
aren't in the precious metals. When they wake up, it will just
5:25
be almost instantaneous as we've seen in the past, like during
5:29
the C-19 crisis and other times where the shelves get get get
5:33
wiped out almost immediately. Remember, information flows much
5:38
faster now and purchases of silver and gold for that matter,
5:43
but we're a little focused on silver today.
5:45
Happen instantaneous. You don't have to hop in your
5:49
cutlass and drive down the road to R&J coin Shop to buy yourself
5:53
some silver. You can if you like, right
5:56
there. Still coin shops.
5:57
I love coin shops. I'm not putting them down, but
5:59
now you can pick up these things.
6:01
That's a cellular telephone, right?
6:04
Literally think about this right now, if we wanted to, we could
6:08
buy 1000 ounces of silver in the next 3 or 4 minutes.
6:12
It can happen. It can happen so fast, right?
6:16
And it can have a big impact on the overall silver market and
6:20
the retail silver market. So pay attention now.
6:23
What's going to make that happen?
6:26
Those people out there, you know the other, what do we call those
6:29
people? Do you remember the other 97% of
6:32
people that, that they like to believe that this, well, this is
6:36
actually a silver certificate, this right, paper money is worth
6:41
something. And we don't like that.
6:44
It's not. We know the facts, right?
6:46
But those people, we affectionately refer to them as
6:53
the sheeple. And when they wake up and they
6:56
decide it's time, right? But what's going to make that
6:59
happen? Mainstream media?
7:02
And is it starting? Is it starting to happen?
7:05
Well, let's go take a quick look at this because maybe it's going
7:08
to give us a little hint about what's to come.
7:11
This comes from a new headline from our friends at Bloomberg.
7:16
OK They say this just out silver and copper eclipse gold as the
7:22
top metals bets on supply. I fears people are moving to the
7:27
air and there's a nice picture of a silver bar, 1 kilogram
7:31
silver bars and it said here silver and copper have replaced
7:34
gold as the hot metal trade heading into 2026 with
7:41
institutional and retail traders positioning for a record rallies
7:47
silver and copper, institutional and retail.
7:51
And just in case you forgot that came from Bloomberg and
7:56
Bloomberg is by far one of the top, if not the top mainstream
8:01
financial media outlets. Guys, it's going to happen
8:05
right? And there won't be silver
8:08
available now that's just my prediction.
8:10
I'm not a financial advisor. You make up your own mind.
8:13
Listen to me. I'm just a guy in his basement
8:15
in Saint Louis who loves silver, loves gold.
8:18
But if you want to get your hands on some silver and gold
8:20
right now, please check out channel sponsor First Mint.

10:08

10:11
for the first time and what a great experience you had.
10:14
So I feel great about having First Mint support our channel,
10:18
support our community. What about the Singapore Slam?
10:23
And don't forget, we have the $200 silver prediction from from
10:28
a very special source we're going to talk about in a second.
10:32
But what about if you heard of this?
10:33
It's new to me. I don't know if it's new to you.
10:35
They could. They're calling it the Singapore
10:37
Slam. Let's see what we can learn
10:39
about this and we will go here, we go out to the Silver Academy.
10:46
Hold on, here. Here we go.
10:50
Yep. Silver Academy India, India,
10:53
don't worry, we're going to get to the silver slam is buying
10:56
Western price smashes the manipulation in the Western
11:01
paper market. Maybe you should follow 250
11:04
million people referring to people in India that will now be
11:08
using silver as collateral for critical loans.
11:13
That's actually happening in April early 2026, where India
11:18
has changed their banking regulations, now allowing their
11:22
citizenship to use silver to get loans.
11:25
OK, very, very interesting. And owners do not have to sell
11:29
their physical silver to monetize anymore.
11:32
Let me, I'm going to let you in on a little secret.
11:35
Indian people love precious metals.
11:37
Indian people love silver. And there are like they say 250
11:41
million according to Silver Academy of Indian people that
11:46
own silver and use it as a store of value and have for
11:50
generations. India unlocks silver's
11:53
collateral buying power and #2 owners do not have to sell.
11:57
OK, that came by. He gave credit to Vince Lancey,
12:00
great guy. But what about the Singapore
12:02
Slam? Have you heard of this?
12:06
This came from macro liquidity. The Singapore Slam was bought by
12:11
India ever since JP Morgan and that was a big, big breaking
12:16
story. Last week, JP Morgan moved their
12:19
physical bullion desk to Singapore.
12:22
They left to some people like a skeleton crew.
12:24
From what I'm understanding in New York this is all being
12:27
reported. I think it was Bill.
12:29
Still, somebody like that had a e-mail, supposedly, but they
12:34
moved the core of their trading desk to Singapore.
12:37
These Asian hour slams have become a feature and they're
12:41
calling them now the Singapore Slam.
12:43
Today, India is absorbed the hit instantly.
12:47
Price snapped right back. Tells you who's accumulating,
12:51
not speculating. And this comes back to what
12:54
we've heard from Keith Newmar, what we've heard from Phillip
12:57
Baker just recently, who was at the LBMA conference.
13:00
That physical is king now in the precious metals market.
13:05
The game is changing. All right, let's go out and take
13:09
a look and get an update on the silver price.
13:11
Today's a little bit of a down day.
13:13
Let's check out silver right now.
13:16
OK, down 70 cents. Oh my gosh.
13:19
In the yeah, in the futures market.
13:21
That's the March futures market. Let's see if we can get a spot
13:25
price on silver here as well. OK, the spot price that's
13:30
interesting. So this the futures is down at
13:33
this point almost twice as much as the spot price.
13:37
And again, when that spot price gets above the futures price, we
13:41
are in a situation called backwardation, which indicates,
13:44
so we're at 58. And let's go and look at the
13:47
futures price getting close, right?
13:49
Only $0.35 higher at this point. When the spot price gets higher
13:54
than the futures price, that's signals that there is a loss of
13:58
confidence in the market, futures market ability to
14:02
deliver physical metals. Let's go take a look at this.
14:07
OK, just because we love to look at charts, this comes from gold,
14:12
silver, HQ Solar will swallow silver, solar will swallow
14:18
silver. Easy for me to say.
14:20
So this is a new chart. It came out.
14:24
The Gray area shows the amount of silver used by solar up
14:29
through 2024. The turquoise line, OK, this
14:34
color right here. Hold on.
14:36
There we go. Shows projections through the
14:40
year. That's 2030.
14:42
That's the conservative projection for demand of silver
14:47
from solar. The yellow line, the golden line
14:51
is the bullish forecast of what the projection of projection of
14:56
demand for silver from solar would be.
15:00
And as you can see, that comes all the way up to over 400
15:04
million oz per year. Need I remind you the whole the
15:11
entire hold on here having some tech issues, the entire mining
15:15
industry only makes about 800 million, produces mines about
15:19
800 million ounces of silver per year.
15:22
The most of that silver is a by product of copper, lead and zinc
15:26
mining, OK. And on top of that, there's no
15:29
projection that the amount of silver being mined is going to
15:33
increase anytime soon because as we talked about many times,
15:36
nobody really invested much into development of new silver mines
15:41
over the last several decades because our friends at the LBMA
15:46
who were so fond of and the COMEX and let's just say maybe
15:50
artificially kept the price of silver down.
15:53
So it's going to take a decade until the mining industry can
15:57
really react to the higher prices and the higher demand.
16:01
There were some smart people out there.
16:03
Keith Newmeyer, Sean Coon, Coon, other people out there, Galen
16:08
McNamara, I can name a whole bunch.
16:10
But there there were some smart people that were mining silver,
16:15
exploring for silver, developing silver mines, but not many.
16:19
OK, it's going to be a very interesting period of time as we
16:22
head to the future. Next, we're going to talk about
16:24
the $200 per oz silver projection from the most
16:31
unlikely source, but one that we can be very, very excited about.
16:35
Before I do that, I do want to say thank you to 1st Mining Gold
16:38
for sponsoring Ron's Basement. They help us get together.
16:42
It's a company, a stock that I bought that I believed in long
16:46
before they sponsored my channel at their development stage Gold
16:49
company in Canada. They have two huge projects,
16:53
Spring Pull in Ontario, du Parquet in Quebec, both of which
16:56
have millions of Oz of gold in the ground.
16:59
You can learn more about them at firstmininggold.com.
17:03
And actually, it's interesting, the company was started by Keith
17:07
Neumeyer, who's kind of a visionary, right?
17:10
He, he looked out years and years in the future.
17:12
I don't know, maybe seven years ago, eight years ago, the
17:15
company was started and Keith still serves as the chairman of
17:19
First Mining Gold as well as being the CEO of First Majestic
17:23
Silver. Let's talk about the 200.
17:25
Are you ready for $200 silver? And the reason, the big reason
17:29
why we want to pay attention to this person.
17:32
OK, this comes from hold on one second here.
17:38
Boom. OK.
17:39
And then we got another thing to look at on this.
17:41
But this is very interesting. It came from Silver Gold News,
17:45
Egon Vanguard, Grize. I can never pronounce his names.
17:48
Silver's clear path. Oh, I'm sorry, I misspoke.
17:52
To over $200 per oz, he said. Quote, We should expect the gold
17:57
to silver ratio to fall rapidly to below 50 and then move much
18:03
lower as massive demand outstrips shrinking physical
18:09
supply. Like Phillips Baker said, like
18:12
Keith Newmeyer, I've heard him say this is a physical driven
18:14
market now, this is a new paradigm for silver.
18:18
But there's a reason why Egon Van Geyers is somebody, 2
18:21
reasons why we want to listen to him.
18:23
OK? A return to silver's inflation
18:26
ingested 1980 peak alone would imply prices reaching $200 per
18:33
oz. So we're going to come back to
18:34
this later, but First off, let's pull this up there is because we
18:40
can't get enough of this, the long term 1980 silver price, the
18:45
2011 cup and handle formation that we have broken out of now,
18:52
the textbook, the biggest cup and handle in the history of the
18:55
universe that silver investors are enjoying right now.
18:59
And to the right, that shows the inflation adjust adjusted for
19:04
real. OK, So that's probably using
19:07
what they call shadow stats because most people agree that
19:11
the current official, quote UN quote inflation numbers that we
19:16
get from the Bureau of Labor and Statistics aren't quite too
19:22
accurate. But why do we want to listen to
19:25
Ergon? Here's a reason why.
19:27
And we've got 2 reasons why. Number one, OK, he runs the the
19:33
the the Vanguard's gold old Switzerland, very, very
19:38
respected person in the world of precious metals.
19:42
But, and you can go to their website here if you like and
19:45
check it out. That information came from this
19:47
video right here. What's critical to understand
19:51
when it comes to him is this. He's not a silver permeable,
19:56
right? Usually in the past, he's
19:57
recommended gold, gold, gold, gold, gold.
20:00
Just recently, and I heard him say this, did he say that now he
20:05
thinks the potential for silver is absolutely outstanding.
20:09
And if I remember this correctly, he even said that
20:12
their clients are now have like a 20, maybe 30% allocation.
20:17
To silver so very interesting this is not a big the big key
20:22
take away here is this is not coming from a precious metals
20:27
silver permeable somebody like me right like I just love
20:31
silver. I've always been a big silver
20:33
silver, silver, silver. I love gold no doubt about it.
20:36
I love gold mining stocks, but silver has always been my focus.
20:41
He was kind of the opposite he was maybe a little more focused
20:44
on gold and now starting to point out that silver has some
20:50
real potential head. But didn't we see earlier in
20:53
this here meeting that we're having together right now right
20:56
that even Bloomberg is pointing that out very interesting
21:00
developments again, thank you for joining me down here in the
21:02
basement. Don't forget to subscribe.
21:05
We got more to talk about, don't worry.
21:07
But I do want to say one more time for those of you.
21:09
We've got almost 800 people. Unbelievable.
21:12
This is a snap live stream, meaning nobody was alerted about
21:16
this. OK guys, we're getting thousands
21:19
unbelievable number of views on the channel.
21:22
I'd like to think it's because of my boyish good looks and
21:25
dynamic personality, but the reality is it's because more and
21:29
more people like you are waking up.
21:32
People who used to be the sheeple.
21:40
They believed everything they saw on their television set,
21:43
which is fine. I'm not putting anybody down.
21:46
Maybe they're happier than than than I am digging into all this
21:49
stuff, but more and more people are joining us.
21:52
You know what that means? Let me tell you what that means.
21:55
It's incredibly optimistic for silver and gold because here's a
22:00
little secret. We are a very small portion of
22:03
the investing world. I'm going to look at a chart in
22:05
a little bit that's going to blow your minds about that, OK?
22:09
So it's just going to take even the smallest increase of people
22:13
joining us, right? Sheep, sheep converts that join
22:17
us right, in the silver and gold community can have a massive
22:21
impact. If we go from 3% of the people
22:25
in the United States of America who invest in gold and silver to
22:29
6%, that's twice as much people in theory, twice as much money
22:34
If we go to 9%, right? That's three times if we go back
22:38
to historical levels at like 15%.
22:41
If my math is correct and I do have a degree in accounting.
22:43
And yes, I did work for a BIG4 accounting firm, that would be 5
22:48
times. So welcome to everyone.
22:51
Please don't forget, subscribe, all that great stuff.
22:53
Let's have some fun, huh? Let's have some fun.
22:55
We looked at the One Cup and handle earlier.
22:58
Let's take a look at the other cup and handle.
23:01
This came from Digger. Hello Digger, He says, isn't it
23:05
up wrong? I got to share the screen with
23:07
you. Are you going to leave me?
23:09
Don't leave me now you're looking at it.
23:11
This comes from Digger. Old Digger says, isn't it
23:14
beautiful? Yes, Digger, I agree.
23:16
The cup and handle we looked at earlier formed over a 45 year
23:20
time period. This one I want to point out to
23:22
you, we got cups and handles inside of cups and handles right
23:27
here. Look started there went here OK,
23:31
this was just like, I don't know October 8th this right was like
23:39
mid November. OK, so we've got I'm a draw in a
23:44
different color for you. Let's get out the virtual
23:46
crayons. We'll go with green, right?
23:49
We've got another cup, see it there and handle, which right,
23:57
as long as we stay above what about $55 an ounce?
24:01
We broke it out. This is the part we want to look
24:04
at. We broke it out and it's not see
24:08
that arrow that goes all the way up, all the way up?
24:11
It's not, it's not a silver squeeze like we talked about at
24:16
the very beginning. So we've got cup.
24:17
We got enough cups and handles to buy grandma a new tea set.
24:21
We got enough cups and handles inside of cups and handles,
24:26
right? I used to have them down here.
24:27
Darn it. What did I do with it?
24:28
Hold on one SEC. Hold on.
24:30
You can't even see me. Hold on.
24:33
I'm going to put you. Hold on one second.
24:35
I still have it down here. Darn it.
24:39
Like those Russian nesting dolls, You know, that, like fit
24:42
inside each other. Guys, we've got cup and handles
24:44
inside a cup and handles. That, again, would make Grandma
24:47
and her T set jealous. All right, let's go look at how
24:50
undervalued of the potential that the metals have.
24:54
We're going to look at it from a mining stock perspective, and
24:57
it's crazy. But as the mining stocks get
25:00
more and more attention, guess what can also happen when like
25:05
Wall Street on CNBC, right, starts talking about the gold
25:10
and silver? Oh my gosh, could you imagine if
25:12
they actually talked about silver mining stocks?
25:17
Number one, the stocks could explode.
25:19
Again, I'm not a financial advisor, but looking at history,
25:22
that's that's a a possibility. I'll leave it at that, but it
25:26
will also bring more attention into the overall precious
25:30
metals. Let's go take a look at this.
25:32
OK. It says look at this chart, the
25:35
entire market cap, and it says as you're not looking at the
25:39
entire market cap of the global gold and silver mining sector is
25:42
a rounding error compared to single tech giants.
25:46
This is a historic mispricing. We're going to come back to the
25:50
yellow highlights, but we're going to look at right here is
25:53
that chart, guys down here, OK, This is on the chart.
25:59
That's the silver mining industry, OK.
26:03
Can you see it? It's a little tiny Gray line.
26:06
This here is the gold mining industry, a little bit bigger,
26:10
OK, This here, right? Is Tesla next to it, crypto next
26:16
to it, NVIDIA, OK, Look at Nvidia's market cap compared to
26:21
the entire gold mining sector. And we know how small the silver
26:25
mining sector is now. Now look at these comparisons.
26:29
Total mining sector market cap versus Tesla alone.
26:32
The difference is absurd. More importantly, the forward
26:36
price to earnings ratio of about 13 for quality minors versus 30
26:42
to 60 plus for the MAG 7 stocks. Triple digit earnings growth in
26:47
mining versus slowing growth in tech.
26:53
This could get very, very interesting, OK.
26:55
Margins are already exploding. Q3 margins in the mining sector
27:00
were higher than Tesla. Q4 projections are even higher
27:05
than NVIDIA. At some point, the general
27:08
market is going to wake up to this and we're going to start
27:12
hearing the people on CNBC and Bloomberg Business and Fox
27:16
Business focusing on what's happening in the metal sector.
27:20
Now, look, if the metals correct, I mean, heck, they can
27:23
even correct in these companies are still going to be making
27:26
unbelievable amounts of money. But the reason we're talking
27:30
about this is because when it happens and when the mainstream
27:34
media really explodes about the precious metals and people wake
27:39
up, like we talked about earlier, even just it doesn't
27:43
have to be a flood. The smallest amount of money,
27:46
this is critical. The smallest amount of money
27:49
coming into the precious metals and the precious metal mining
27:52
stocks, the smallest amount is going to feel like a flood, OK?
27:58
It's going to be like like Doug Casey, I believe he's the person
28:02
that said this. It's going to be like trying to
28:03
drain Hoover Dam with a garden hose.
28:07
It just ain't going to work. Not it's just not going to work.
28:10
OK. Hey, thank you for being down
28:12
here. Thanks for joining me.
28:13
I appreciate the support. On behalf of upstairs, Susie and
28:16
myself, we want to wish you a great remainder of your day.
28:20
Take care of yourself and I'll see you.
28:23
Yes, you, next time.
