Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Live from the w R Life back studios. They'll mark
- 0:04Speaker 1: some own show.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Hey, it's another beautiful day to day. We got a
- 0:12Speaker 2: lot to get to. We'll get to the Knicks last night.
- 0:14Speaker 2: We'll get to California. We'll get to that Scott Pelley,
- 0:18Speaker 2: the most pompous man ever in the world. We'll get
- 0:22Speaker 2: to we'll get the crazy mom Johnny, and we'll get
- 0:26Speaker 2: to President Trump and Iran and a whole lot more
- 0:30Speaker 2: the President at the next game last night. Now, of
- 0:33Speaker 2: course the Knicks lost, So of course everybody who's a
- 0:37Speaker 2: Trump hater, every Trump arrangement syndrome, person blaming Trump, he
- 0:42Speaker 2: jinxed it. He Well, listen, they were bound to lose
- 0:46Speaker 2: a game somewhere. I mean, you're getting pretty cocky if
- 0:49Speaker 2: you think they have to sweep. I mean, just win
- 0:51Speaker 2: the championship. That's all you gotta do. Also, it's good
- 0:56Speaker 2: for New York if they if they stretch us out
- 0:59Speaker 2: one more game, because we make ninety two million dollars
- 1:04Speaker 2: in revenue every time there's another game, not how many
- 1:07Speaker 2: people come in spend money, hotels, restaurants, all sorts of stuff.
- 1:12Speaker 2: So it's an extra ninety two million for the city. Now,
- 1:14Speaker 2: these crazy Trump haters, And I love always listening to
- 1:19Speaker 2: the really dumb ones, you know, the Hakeem Jeffries IQ
- 1:23Speaker 2: eighty five ninety maybe eighty five from eighty eighty five,
- 1:28Speaker 2: maybe Hakeem Jefferies. Who is this guy who talks like
- 1:33Speaker 2: a robout big Trump haaters, just filled with Trump hatred,
- 1:38Speaker 2: so upset that Trump came in to see the game.
- 1:40Speaker 3: Does this guy even know the difference between Carl Rove
- 1:45Speaker 3: and Karl Anthony Towns.
- 1:47Speaker 2: I don't think so.
- 1:50Speaker 4: He's just injecting himself.
- 1:54Speaker 3: Into the NBA Finals because he always has to ring
- 2:00Speaker 3: the MAGA circus in to town.
- 2:06Speaker 2: He's not a bright guy. He's kind of stupid, and
- 2:09Speaker 2: he just repeats and he you know, they come up
- 2:11Speaker 2: with these dumb talking points and they throw them out
- 2:14Speaker 2: there and some don't work and backfire and some work,
- 2:17Speaker 2: and but this moron keeps repeating them all he doesn't
- 2:20Speaker 2: realize some of them didn't work. Kathy Hockel tried that day.
- 2:23Speaker 2: He's not a Knicks fan. I'll bet he can't name
- 2:25Speaker 2: one player. Hokeel tried that and then immediately all over
- 2:30Speaker 2: the internet people put up thousands of pictures of Trump
- 2:32Speaker 2: at every every two seconds at a Nick game through
- 2:36Speaker 2: the years. Here's a picture of the always sitting in
- 2:38Speaker 2: the front row. He said a million Nick games, big
- 2:41Speaker 2: Knicks fan, put the Knicks on the apprentice, huge Knicks fan,
- 2:45Speaker 2: always has been. But again, Hakeem Jeffreys, very slow. He
- 2:51Speaker 2: doesn't know that that talking point bombed and backfired, so
- 2:55Speaker 2: he's going to repeat it and then he puts it
- 2:58Speaker 2: in these dumb questions.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Does this guy even know the difference between Karl Rove
- 3:05Speaker 3: and Karl Anthony Towns.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Yeah, Karl Anthony Towns is a winner. Is a big difference,
- 3:11Speaker 2: big difference there, Unlike Rove, who won o race in
- 3:15Speaker 2: Texas about thirty forty years ago or something. So it's driving.
- 3:21Speaker 2: It was worth him coming in just to upset these democrats.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Listen to the now. This guy's not dumb, but he's
- 3:27Speaker 2: so dirty and sleezy, Chuck Schumer.
- 3:30Speaker 5: Midtown has to shut down. Bars near the Garden are
- 3:32Speaker 5: about to take a huge night on what should be there.
- 3:36Speaker 2: You're trying to convince you that Trump coming in is harmful.
- 3:40Speaker 2: It's a disaster. It's costing everybody business and money.
- 3:44Speaker 5: Midtown has to shut down. Bars near the Garden are
- 3:46Speaker 5: about to take a huge night on what should be
- 3:50Speaker 5: their biggest a huge hit on what should be their
- 3:52Speaker 5: biggest night of the year. And free watch parties near
- 3:55Speaker 5: the arena have been canceled because Trump can't bear letting
- 3:59Speaker 5: anyone else be the center of the tension for one night.
- 4:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know. He went up in the owner's
- 4:04Speaker 2: suite and he certainly didn't try to get any attention.
- 4:07Speaker 2: He was quiet all night. He did at halftime come
- 4:10Speaker 2: down to the court and walk around the court in
- 4:13Speaker 2: a fenced off area. But Schumer, you know, it's okay.
- 4:18Speaker 2: You got to excuse Jefferies. He's a moron, He's an imbecile.
- 4:22Speaker 2: But Schumer has half a brain. You think he could
- 4:24Speaker 2: come up with better stuff. So they did move the
- 4:29Speaker 2: watch party, the one usually outside the garden. They moved
- 4:31Speaker 2: it to Bryant Park, which is not a bad thing.
- 4:34Speaker 2: It's much more beautiful at Bryant Park, although the garden
- 4:37Speaker 2: looks pretty good lit up an orange and blue. But
- 4:40Speaker 2: the watch party at Bryant Park turned into a nightmare
- 4:47Speaker 2: at the end, with violence and rioting. And I don't
- 4:50Speaker 2: know if you call it riot, well you can call
- 4:52Speaker 2: it rioting. They called out the riot squad at the end,
- 4:55Speaker 2: but fans beating up anybody had a spurs, hat or
- 4:59Speaker 2: jersey on. It was absolutely out of control, lots of arrests.
- 5:02Speaker 2: You may have seen the video that woman jumps on
- 5:04Speaker 2: top of a police car, putting dents all over it.
- 5:07Speaker 2: So a lot of people think, Mom, Donnie, well, we
- 5:11Speaker 2: know he's crazy, but some people think he's even more
- 5:13Speaker 2: crazy because he wants to do for the World Cup
- 5:19Speaker 2: a watch party at the Woman Rink with fifty thousand people.
- 5:24Speaker 2: Fifty thousand people, this is a recipe for total disaster.
- 5:30Speaker 2: I don't know. I mean, I guess the police commissioner
- 5:35Speaker 2: can't can't change his mind, but this is going to
- 5:38Speaker 2: be a logistical nightmare. It's going to be a total disaster.
- 5:42Speaker 2: You remember the Diana Ross concert at the Great Lawn,
- 5:47Speaker 2: same thing. Hey, actually I made a little mistake there.
- 5:50Speaker 2: The watch party last night was Wolman Rink. You can't
- 5:54Speaker 2: put fifty thousand people there. This fifty thousand person watch
- 5:58Speaker 2: party four the World Cup would be on the Great Lawn.
- 6:02Speaker 2: That's where the Diana Ross concert. Remember that ended up
- 6:05Speaker 2: with gangs beating up everybody. It was just terrible violence.
- 6:09Speaker 2: Then they spread out into the Upper West Side and
- 6:11Speaker 2: the East Side, wreaking havoc at violence everywhere. So this
- 6:15Speaker 2: is a horrible idea. You're gonna have to get tickets
- 6:17Speaker 2: with a lottery.
- 6:18Speaker 6: That's something I purchased directly, right, No.
- 6:20Speaker 2: That's another cut. But it's a recipe for disaster. Hopefully
- 6:24Speaker 2: somebody can stop them. This World Cup, it's going to
- 6:28Speaker 2: be a nightmare for New York. It's gonna be They say,
- 6:31Speaker 2: it's going to be like having a Super Bowl every
- 6:33Speaker 2: night in New York for like twenty nights in a row.
- 6:36Speaker 2: But one thing about soccer, the fans go crazy. The
- 6:41Speaker 2: soccer fans are more violent. You always have hooligans in Scotland.
- 6:45Speaker 2: You got riots here. So this is going to be
- 6:49Speaker 2: a dangerous time in New York, this World Cup. Hopefully
- 6:52Speaker 2: there's enough security. Yeah, Mom, Donnie was at the game
- 6:55Speaker 2: last night. He claims he bought a ticket.
- 6:57Speaker 6: That's something I purchased directly from the Mansion Square garden.
- 7:01Speaker 6: Close to one thousand dollars was the price of it.
- 7:04Speaker 6: And standing remote is just a section that I'll be
- 7:06Speaker 6: standing in.
- 7:07Speaker 2: Yeah, it's actually quite a feat. Actually, the first time
- 7:11Speaker 2: a politician actually paid for anything. But he claims he
- 7:15Speaker 2: paid for the ticket. So President Trump was there when
- 7:19Speaker 2: the camera came on him and you could see it
- 7:20Speaker 2: on the big screen. Half the audience cheered, half the
- 7:23Speaker 2: audience booed. Now at as Trump said, well, it's a
- 7:27Speaker 2: lot of left wing, you know, people at the at
- 7:31Speaker 2: the NBA. But got to remember some people might have
- 7:33Speaker 2: bued because they couldn't get into the game. It took
- 7:37Speaker 2: hours of waiting in line. It was very difficult to
- 7:40Speaker 2: get into the game. People told me they were just
- 7:41Speaker 2: stuck in line for hours. It was like the worst
- 7:44Speaker 2: TSA line you can imagine. So that might have been
- 7:48Speaker 2: some of the booming there. We'll get to we'll get
- 7:53Speaker 2: to Tom Holman and Ice. This is going to be
- 7:55Speaker 2: quite a fight California. Looks like the two wacko left
- 8:00Speaker 2: wing kooks will be the runoff and we'll run against
- 8:04Speaker 2: each other. Nobody, nobody in the right mind, thinks this
- 8:09Speaker 2: voting was legitimate. Because there's a woman, whatever her name is,
- 8:13Speaker 2: the left wing nutjob, kook socialist, who was so far behind,
- 8:18Speaker 2: she got so few votes in the election when everybody
- 8:20Speaker 2: came to vote. Now they go to these mail in
- 8:23Speaker 2: votes and suddenly she's surging she's getting all the votes.
- 8:27Speaker 2: It's statistically impossible. It makes absolutely no sense. California, it
- 8:34Speaker 2: looks like total fraud because they can't count the votes.
- 8:38Speaker 2: It's how many days later they keep claiming it'll take
- 8:41Speaker 2: thirty five days to count all the votes. That makes
- 8:45Speaker 2: absolutely no sense. India has six hundred thousand people, six
- 8:50Speaker 2: hundred million people. They count the votes overnight. It looks
- 8:54Speaker 2: like total fraud.
- 8:56Speaker 6: President Trump, they voted five days ago, and nobody has
- 9:01Speaker 6: any idea.
- 9:01Speaker 7: Where the votes are.
- 9:02Speaker 8: What's gonna happen, And we don't want that. We're not
- 9:05Speaker 8: gonna allow that to happen to our nation.
- 9:07Speaker 2: Yeah. I don't know what he can do, but he's
- 9:09Speaker 2: got the DOJ. Lawyer's there on the ground. But everybody thinks.
- 9:13Speaker 2: Everybody in their right mind thinks it's just a totally
- 9:16Speaker 2: rigged election.
- 9:16Speaker 9: They are counting votes weeks after the election. We have
- 9:19Speaker 9: entire nations with huge populations like India that can count
- 9:23Speaker 9: their votes.
- 9:24Speaker 2: In twenty four too. Like the President, I'm not.
- 9:26Speaker 9: Saying it's rigged. I'm saying it stinks to high heaven
- 9:28Speaker 9: and everybody knows that.
- 9:30Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, now let's turn to the genius, the most
- 9:33Speaker 2: brilliant man on Earth, Hakeem Jefferies.
- 9:35Speaker 4: There is no election fraud in California. Donald Trump is
- 9:38Speaker 4: making it up. He can't point to a shred of
- 9:41Speaker 4: evidence to prove his point. This is all a conspiracy
- 9:45Speaker 4: theory because Donald Trump knows in November he's going down
- 9:49Speaker 4: in flames electorally and Republicans are about to lose the House.
- 9:54Speaker 2: That's good, that's good to hear. Because this guy, this
- 9:56Speaker 2: Hakim Jefferies, is so dumb. He's like a reverse barometer.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Anything he says the opposite happens. So whatever he predicts,
- 10:03Speaker 2: you'll always get the opposite. Now. I love how they
- 10:05Speaker 2: say there's no evidence Donald Trump has no evidence that
- 10:10Speaker 2: there's any for well, Hakeem Jefferies has absolutely no evidence
- 10:14Speaker 2: that there isn't whatsoever. He can't produce a shred of
- 10:17Speaker 2: evidence to defend these crazy, ridiculous results that are coming out. Yeah.
- 10:23Speaker 2: So Kathy Hochel, you know, announces this is going to
- 10:26Speaker 2: be a total sanctuary state. She orders absolutely no cooperation
- 10:32Speaker 2: with ICE iceer law enforcement officials when they come into
- 10:36Speaker 2: New York. Our law enforcement is supposed to turn their
- 10:39Speaker 2: back and not cooperate at all. Absolutely ridiculous. You know,
- 10:44Speaker 2: if you arrest an the illegal an illegal immigrant who's
- 10:48Speaker 2: got a committed a bunch of crimes, you put him
- 10:51Speaker 2: in jail, you cooperate with ICE. In jail, you turn
- 10:55Speaker 2: the guy over, they come to the prison pick him up.
- 10:57Speaker 2: It's orderly. Now if they got to pick him up
- 11:00Speaker 2: out in the street, instead of a couple of guys
- 11:02Speaker 2: to go get him, they got to send twenty guys
- 11:04Speaker 2: to go get him. So they're going to need a
- 11:07Speaker 2: lot more officers in home and has announced he will
- 11:10Speaker 2: send the biggest amount of ICE agents ever to New York.
- 11:15Speaker 10: I told her it is safer for the community, is
- 11:17Speaker 10: safer for the officers, is safer for the aliens to
- 11:20Speaker 10: have these cooperations with the jails. She signed the legislation anyways,
- 11:24Speaker 10: So I made her a promise. You're going to see
- 11:25Speaker 10: more ICE agents you ever seen in New York City.
- 11:28Speaker 10: And it's coming. I just reviewed an operational plan. I'm
- 11:31Speaker 10: not going to tell you exactly when is going to happen,
- 11:33Speaker 10: but is coming.
- 11:35Speaker 2: Yeah, So you're going to see the biggest surge of
- 11:38Speaker 2: ICE ever in the history of the world right here
- 11:41Speaker 2: in New York. He's going to send so many agents.
- 11:44Speaker 2: Hockel blasted the move, saying it's disgusting, it's terrible, it's awful.
- 11:51Speaker 2: He infectually claims that. Hochel claims that Trump explicitly told
- 11:56Speaker 2: her in a face to face meeting he would not
- 11:58Speaker 2: deploy federal agents to the Big Apple unless she asked.
- 12:02Speaker 2: I don't think he said that at all. I think
- 12:03Speaker 2: she's lying. He may have said that about National Guard
- 12:06Speaker 2: or something like that, but obviously wouldn't say that about Ice. Ever. Hey,
- 12:10Speaker 2: and Iran, a helicopter crashed overnight. Both pilots rescued. They
- 12:17Speaker 2: haven't actually said whether. I don't think. We don't know
- 12:20Speaker 2: that it was shot down. It just crashed for whatever reason.
- 12:23Speaker 2: But they've recovered the pilots, so everything is good. President
- 12:28Speaker 2: Trump says we're close, close through a deal. Democrats of course, screaming.
- 12:33Speaker 2: He've been saying that for four weeks. Yeah, well, that's
- 12:36Speaker 2: not a lot of time. If this were Obama or Biden,
- 12:38Speaker 2: they would have given him a year before they even
- 12:40Speaker 2: said a word. It's just a few weeks. Oil is down,
- 12:44Speaker 2: dropping down eighty seven dollars a barrel. That's not bad.
- 12:48Speaker 2: That's way below Biden prices. One thing keeping oil from
- 12:52Speaker 2: going down even more. Is apparently a lot of nations
- 12:55Speaker 2: have decided they should stockpile massive reserves of oid. You know,
- 13:01Speaker 2: we have our emergency supply and every other nation does.
- 13:03Speaker 2: But apparently the every other nation, especially Europe where they
- 13:07Speaker 2: were depending on the straits or Moose, they want to
- 13:10Speaker 2: make sure they have a huge, huge, huge stockpile. Look
- 13:16Speaker 2: at this Schumer's on TV and he looks so ridiculous
- 13:19Speaker 2: with the big mister magoo glasses. And now he's wearing
- 13:21Speaker 2: a Knicks hat. He's wearing a Knicks hat. Now again,
- 13:27Speaker 2: you could see thousands of pictures of Trump at Knicks
- 13:29Speaker 2: games every year forever, sitting at the court side at
- 13:33Speaker 2: the Knicks games. Chuck Schumer has never been to a
- 13:36Speaker 2: Knicks game. He doesn't even know what sport it is.
- 13:39Speaker 2: He has no idea anybody the Knicks. And look at
- 13:41Speaker 2: the hat he's got, like one of those really cheap, crummy,
- 13:45Speaker 2: stupid two dollars hats instead of a real He couldn't
- 13:47Speaker 2: even get himself a real Knicks hat. You can go
- 13:49Speaker 2: buy them all over New York right now. Hey, Billy Joel,
- 13:53Speaker 2: you know the King of Madison Square Garden, He had
- 13:55Speaker 2: a message for the Knicks last.
- 13:57Speaker 11: Night, Knicks, a lot of magic happened in this building
- 14:01Speaker 11: for many years, but that was your Turn'll bring the
- 14:05Speaker 11: championship back to the greatest city in the world, New York.
- 14:08Speaker 2: Go for it, all right, not the greatest production, but
- 14:16Speaker 2: it's very good. So yeah, the Knicks will be playing
- 14:19Speaker 2: tomorrow night at the Garden, and if they win, it's
- 14:25Speaker 2: three to one, the series returns to San Antonio. So
- 14:29Speaker 2: if they win the fourth game and the championship, it'll
- 14:33Speaker 2: take place in San Antonio, which might be better riot wise.
- 14:38Speaker 2: Who knows what's going to happen here in New York
- 14:40Speaker 2: when they win. But the next game will be Wednesday.
- 14:43Speaker 2: The President will not be there, so it'll be a
- 14:46Speaker 2: lot easier getting around. You won't have the traffic nightmare
- 14:49Speaker 2: that we had last night. Hey, you know Friday, SpaceX
- 14:53Speaker 2: the IPO debuts. They've set the price at one hundred
- 14:57Speaker 2: and thirty five dollars, which is very high, but you
- 15:01Speaker 2: won't be able to get it for one hundred and
- 15:02Speaker 2: thirty five. That's going to be pre market. Only insiders
- 15:06Speaker 2: will get that price. Institutions that are going to You've
- 15:09Speaker 2: got to arrange with somebody to get you the ipo,
- 15:12Speaker 2: get you in there before the bell, and they'll get
- 15:15Speaker 2: one hundred and thirty fives. Soon as it opens, the
- 15:17Speaker 2: price will go nuts. You may if you try to
- 15:19Speaker 2: buy it on the market after the bell opens, you're
- 15:22Speaker 2: going to be paying what it could be two hundred,
- 15:24Speaker 2: it could be five hundred, it could be twelve hundred.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Who knows. It's going to go absolutely crazy. That was
- 15:29Speaker 2: one reason for the sell off on Friday in the
- 15:31Speaker 2: chip sector. A lot of people freeing up money for
- 15:35Speaker 2: this IPO, taking the profits on the well, there's many
- 15:38Speaker 2: of those chip companies. We're up four thousand percent. Good
- 15:41Speaker 2: time to cash out, get your money freed up to
- 15:43Speaker 2: go into this IPO on Friday. Hey, we'll take some calls. Next.
- 15:48Speaker 2: Eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten is
- 15:51Speaker 2: the number. Eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten.
- 15:56Speaker 1: Give Worbri said on the iHeartRadio. I have to hear
- 16:00Speaker 1: Mark Simone and all the WOOR hosts in an instant
- 16:05Speaker 1: yell back to the Mark Simo show on wry.
- 16:10Speaker 2: Let's Section College. Eight hundred three two one zero seven
- 16:15Speaker 2: ten is number. Let's go to Dave in Chicago. Dave,
- 16:17Speaker 2: how you doing good? Morning, Mark, I'm doing very well.
- 16:21Speaker 8: Thank you, Mark. After the next game.
- 16:23Speaker 12: Last night on ABC seven, I was watching the news
- 16:26Speaker 12: and they had a report that said former Chicago Mayor
- 16:30Speaker 12: Ron Emmanuel is thinking of running for president and he's
- 16:33Speaker 12: on a bicycle tour.
- 16:36Speaker 2: Yeah. I can swear I saw him sitting there at courtside.
- 16:39Speaker 2: It's a guy that looked like him. I don't know
- 16:41Speaker 2: if it was him, but yeah, a bicycle tour is
- 16:44Speaker 2: perfect for him. Well, yeah, listen, we love Chicago, but
- 16:48Speaker 2: you guys send us the worst politicians. You come up
- 16:51Speaker 2: with the worst mayors and the worst governors. But thanks
- 16:54Speaker 2: for calling. Uh, you know, there were a lot of
- 16:56Speaker 2: celebrities courtside. You know this. ABC was careful not to
- 17:00Speaker 2: show Donald Trump one. You know, he's the President United States.
- 17:03Speaker 2: He's there. You gotta cut to him once in a
- 17:05Speaker 2: while during the national anthem, maybe once or twice. They quickly,
- 17:08Speaker 2: you know, put a shot at him. But Ben Stiller,
- 17:12Speaker 2: Larry David, Spike Lee, every two seconds they were showing them.
- 17:16Speaker 2: They just kept showing Larry David, They just kept showing
- 17:19Speaker 2: Spike Lee. They just got who else. I was watching
- 17:21Speaker 2: the front row there, look like Tina Fay Tracy Morgan.
- 17:26Speaker 2: Who else did I see If Bob Kraft was sitting
- 17:28Speaker 2: there was either Howard Lutnik or a guy that looks
- 17:32Speaker 2: just like him, and he was wearing a suit and tie,
- 17:36Speaker 2: so it's probably was probably Howard Luttnik. Who else did
- 17:38Speaker 2: I see there?
- 17:40Speaker 13: Oh?
- 17:40Speaker 2: Of course Timothy Shalomey was there. They kept showing them.
- 17:43Speaker 2: They were careful not to show too much Trump. Let's
- 17:46Speaker 2: go to Rob in Long Island. Rob, how you doing?
- 17:49Speaker 14: Mark?
- 17:49Speaker 15: Good morning? It came to my attention and this fellow
- 17:52Speaker 15: Platners receiving forty eight dollars a month of disability for
- 17:55Speaker 15: Hernie at the disks shoulder problems BTSD. Yeah, he's claiming
- 17:59Speaker 15: he's annoyster farmer. I'm out Long Island. I I had
- 18:02Speaker 15: a client that's an oyster farm out here. It's very
- 18:04Speaker 15: hard work. And if you went to court trying to
- 18:07Speaker 15: sue in a car action for those kind of injuries
- 18:10Speaker 15: and being able to say that you're working as an
- 18:12Speaker 15: oyster farmer, it's very insulting from you.
- 18:14Speaker 2: Yeah, well he's actually he's actually not an oyster farmer.
- 18:17Speaker 2: He had one time, for like two days, did some
- 18:19Speaker 2: oysters running around a.
- 18:20Speaker 15: Bar with his shirt off, and he's sending selfies in towels,
- 18:24Speaker 15: and it's to seem like he's got PTSD or needs
- 18:27Speaker 15: forty eight dred dollars a month on taxpayers.
- 18:29Speaker 2: No, you're absolutely right now, But he made up this
- 18:32Speaker 2: whole oyster farmer's story. His mother has a seafood restaurant,
- 18:36Speaker 2: so for like two days he went and dug up
- 18:39Speaker 2: some oysters for her restaurant. That was the extent of
- 18:41Speaker 2: his business. Let's go to Rich and Myrtle Beach. Rich,
- 18:46Speaker 2: how you doing, hey, thanks book.
- 18:48Speaker 14: Yeah, it looked like Bloomberg almost got run over last night. Yeah,
- 18:51Speaker 14: Bloomberg there almost broke a hip, you know. But you know,
- 18:55Speaker 14: if you look at the the cheating going on in
- 18:56Speaker 14: California when Harris Wan attorney general, the same thing happened.
- 19:02Speaker 14: If you have these two grafts going up, there was
- 19:05Speaker 14: almost a ninety degree turn that went straight up to
- 19:07Speaker 14: get house selected. But it's like three times that for
- 19:11Speaker 14: this mayor race out there.
- 19:13Speaker 2: Yeah, it's it's statistically impossible. So whoever's way ahead in
- 19:16Speaker 2: the voting, then they go to the mail ends that
- 19:19Speaker 2: person gets no votes in the loser. All of a sudden,
- 19:21Speaker 2: there's surging at ninety percents. It's statistically impossible. It's absolutely ridiculous.
- 19:26Speaker 2: Ye I forgot Bloomberg was in the front row and
- 19:28Speaker 2: a one time, at one moment, a player crashed into
- 19:30Speaker 2: and almost knocked him down, and I noticed a lot
- 19:33Speaker 2: of garden officials ran over to make sure he was okay.
- 19:37Speaker 2: He was fine, he wasn't hurt. You gotta be nuts
- 19:39Speaker 2: to want to sit in the front row. You know,
- 19:42Speaker 2: I'm looking where Trump's sitting, big leather chair. It seems
- 19:46Speaker 2: so comfortable where he was sitting. You look up in
- 19:49Speaker 2: the stands. They got these really nice seats in the garden.
- 19:52Speaker 2: Look at the front road. They're unfolding chairs. You're just
- 19:54Speaker 2: sitting on a like those cheap folding chairs you'd put
- 19:58Speaker 2: at a bridge table, you know, like a card table.
- 20:00Speaker 2: It's terrible looking. You're sitting an inch from the game.
- 20:04Speaker 2: This sweat is hitting me in the face. It's really
- 20:06Speaker 2: not a good idea. It's like people that go to
- 20:09Speaker 2: a Broadway show and sit in the front row. You
- 20:11Speaker 2: don't realize what it's like in the front row. You're
- 20:13Speaker 2: gonna get spit on all night, you know, if it's
- 20:15Speaker 2: a musical. When they sing. A lot of spit comes
- 20:18Speaker 2: flying out of them, especially in big notes. I'm not
- 20:20Speaker 2: kidnask anybody ever sat in the front row. You're gonna
- 20:23Speaker 2: get spit on, You're gonna get the dust all over
- 20:26Speaker 2: you because the stages are filthy. You can see when
- 20:29Speaker 2: you're up close, when their foot hits the stage like
- 20:31Speaker 2: dust flies up. Never sit in the front row. Let's
- 20:34Speaker 2: go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing.
- 20:37Speaker 16: Good morning, mak, Good morning maw. It's the same thing
- 20:39Speaker 16: at the Metropolitan Opera or in New York State Opera.
- 20:43Speaker 16: When I would sit in the front row, especially when
- 20:46Speaker 16: Pavarotti was on the bill, a lot of stuff would
- 20:51Speaker 16: fly over that.
- 20:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't think they hit those notes. Everything comes
- 20:55Speaker 2: flying out of their mouth. And with that Pavaratti half
- 20:57Speaker 2: his lunch had come on.
- 20:59Speaker 16: Please, I didn't have my preface yet. Mark John Bolton
- 21:03Speaker 16: was a bad dude, and now he's getting his justified desserts.
- 21:07Speaker 16: He copped out. He's gonna pay a two and a
- 21:09Speaker 16: half million dollar fine for not clearing that book with
- 21:14Speaker 16: the Trump White House before he published it and try
- 21:18Speaker 16: the publiship before the election day. But John Bolton was
- 21:21Speaker 16: right about one thing. Had Donald Trump put a missile
- 21:27Speaker 16: right into the control tower a minute after they shot
- 21:31Speaker 16: down unmanned drone over the Persian Gulf, which was over
- 21:38Speaker 16: international waters. We weren't being this quagmire that we are.
- 21:43Speaker 16: And now before question, Donald Trump comes out to.
- 21:47Speaker 2: That day, it's not Vietnam years since this.
- 21:51Speaker 16: Well, here in lies the difference. Here in lies the difference.
- 21:56Speaker 16: We didn't start Vietnam. We didn't start the wars. We
- 22:01Speaker 16: did start, we won the wars. We didn't start. We
- 22:06Speaker 16: came to this.
- 22:07Speaker 2: Yeah, but you gotta remember we're in the middle of
- 22:09Speaker 2: a ceasefire. Nothing is happening.
- 22:11Speaker 16: Yeah, a new word that Donald Trump made up. Yes,
- 22:14Speaker 16: And I told somebody Donald Trump is working as an
- 22:18Speaker 16: editor for Miriam Webster. A moderate cease fire.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Why, moron, you gotta calm down.
- 22:28Speaker 16: No, I don't have to come.
- 22:29Speaker 2: Down, an we gotta we gotta go. Thanks for calling. No,
- 22:33Speaker 2: you can't. You can't say quagmar in month three. You
- 22:37Speaker 2: gotta wait till like four years before you can use
- 22:39Speaker 2: the word quagmar. Hey, when we come back to the
- 22:41Speaker 2: brilliant John Carney, what's going on with the economy, oil stocks,
- 22:45Speaker 2: iran all we'll get to all of that next on
- 22:48Speaker 2: seven to ten w o R. He's always a headline.
- 22:52Speaker 2: I had Mark them on seven ten w o R. Well,
- 22:57Speaker 2: we bring you the smartest people around now Johnny brilliant.
- 23:01Speaker 2: He's the editor of the Breitbart Business Digest, which you
- 23:04Speaker 2: should read every day. You know, the smartest guys. Larry Kudlows,
- 23:09Speaker 2: Scott Besson. First thing they check every day, bright Bart
- 23:13Speaker 2: Business Digest. They read it every morning. Now you can
- 23:15Speaker 2: sign up for it. Just go to Breitbart dot com
- 23:19Speaker 2: and where it says newsletters, just click on Breitbart Business Digest.
- 23:24Speaker 2: Sign up. It's free. It'll come write to your email
- 23:26Speaker 2: every day. And here's the editor of it, John Karney.
- 23:29Speaker 2: How you doing, very good, Good to talk to you.
- 23:33Speaker 14: Mark.
- 23:34Speaker 2: Hey, all I hear about is AI is going to
- 23:35Speaker 2: wipe out everything and nobody will have a job. Everybody's
- 23:38Speaker 2: going to But meantime, the job numbers are going up.
- 23:40Speaker 2: What's the deal.
- 23:43Speaker 8: Yeah, so the job numbers have been really good. Three
- 23:47Speaker 8: months in a row. We have consistently beaten expectations. The
- 23:52Speaker 8: average three month average right now is one hundred and
- 23:55Speaker 8: eighty eight thousand jobs. That's a lot in any that
- 24:01Speaker 8: in any kind of economy, that would be a really
- 24:03Speaker 8: good one. It's very good in ours when the unemployment
- 24:06Speaker 8: rate is already so low that we don't need to
- 24:10Speaker 8: create a lot of jobs. So the AI is not
- 24:15Speaker 8: destroying jobs across the economy. It may be weighing on
- 24:19Speaker 8: tech jobs not extremely high, but the tech layoff rate,
- 24:26Speaker 8: meaning the percent of tech jobs that get shut down
- 24:30Speaker 8: every month, is higher than it usually is. That's a
- 24:34Speaker 8: sector that actually doesn't see that many layoffs because it's
- 24:40Speaker 8: been growing, so it has seen some I think of
- 24:45Speaker 8: it almost like a Greek mythology, where like the you know,
- 24:49Speaker 8: the gods eat their their titan parents, that the AI
- 24:55Speaker 8: is eating its parents a little bit. But in general,
- 24:58Speaker 8: I actually think that AI is not going to be
- 25:02Speaker 8: destructive for jobs. It may change jobs, but if it
- 25:08Speaker 8: succeeds in making people more efficient at what they do,
- 25:11Speaker 8: that actually tends to expand employment because people because when
- 25:16Speaker 8: people are better at what they do, it actually makes
- 25:19Speaker 8: more sense to hire more of them because each person's
- 25:23Speaker 8: productivity rises. You know, we in the past and we've
- 25:27Speaker 8: seen big technological changes. My father said that people worried
- 25:33Speaker 8: when they introduced computers into the workplace that there would
- 25:38Speaker 8: be that there would be no work for the young
- 25:40Speaker 8: ladies who were typists in the office anymore to do. Well,
- 25:45Speaker 8: guess what, we don't have mass young lady unemployment. We
- 25:50Speaker 8: actually found more productive work for them to do, so
- 25:53Speaker 8: it doesn't actually cause massive unemployment like people are afraid.
- 25:58Speaker 2: Yeah, and we went through all this name exact talk
- 26:01Speaker 2: when the Internet came in twenty six years ago or something,
- 26:04Speaker 2: you know, twenty seven years ago, same exact fears.
- 26:07Speaker 7: That's right.
- 26:07Speaker 8: Yeah, Look, there may be things we don't like about
- 26:10Speaker 8: the way it's going to go. I don't you know.
- 26:13Speaker 8: I think people got you know, people got so used
- 26:18Speaker 8: to being able to email people at any time of
- 26:21Speaker 8: the day I and expect responses back. But that was
- 26:24Speaker 8: actually a negative and now people push back against that.
- 26:29Speaker 8: But I, you know, so it doesn't mean everything about
- 26:31Speaker 8: AI is going to be terrific, But I don't think
- 26:34Speaker 8: it the result will be some sort of mass unemployment event.
- 26:38Speaker 2: Hey, John Carney. Every morning I wake up, I put
- 26:41Speaker 2: on a Morning Joe and MS now and all I
- 26:44Speaker 2: hear is the economy is a disaster. Everybody is struggling, suffering.
- 26:47Speaker 2: Americans can't pay their bills. We've never had such a
- 26:50Speaker 2: bad economy is what is the real story?
- 26:54Speaker 8: Yeah, well that's definitely not it. But you deserve a
- 26:59Speaker 8: medal for putting that on in the morning. I couldn't
- 27:03Speaker 8: do that so the but I will say that they
- 27:07Speaker 8: that what they're wrong about is pretty obvious in the
- 27:11Speaker 8: job's numbers. We are seeing a big jump in employment
- 27:17Speaker 8: in the US. We've seen We've seen people mass jobs
- 27:22Speaker 8: being added.
- 27:24Speaker 2: We saw them.
- 27:24Speaker 8: For instance, the black unemployment rate fell a lot last month,
- 27:31Speaker 8: and people are doing very well. There's pockets of difficulty,
- 27:36Speaker 8: but I think one of the things they want to
- 27:39Speaker 8: do is make it sound like people are really bad off,
- 27:42Speaker 8: and then if you try to say something good about
- 27:44Speaker 8: the economy, they try to shame you for it. Oh,
- 27:47Speaker 8: how dare you say that? Well, people are suffering? But
- 27:50Speaker 8: you know, first of all, there are always people suffering
- 27:53Speaker 8: in the world, but the the economy is actually doing
- 27:58Speaker 8: very well. We have high it's actually doing better than
- 28:01Speaker 8: I would have expected given the price of gasoline. I
- 28:05Speaker 8: thought that would actually weigh a little more on our
- 28:08Speaker 8: growth because you know, obviously, when you have to spend
- 28:13Speaker 8: fifty percent more to fill up your gas tank, that
- 28:16Speaker 8: gives you less money to spend elsewhere. But people are
- 28:19Speaker 8: actually not reacting by pulling back on other spending. We're
- 28:22Speaker 8: seeing actually a lot of spending going on, in part
- 28:27Speaker 8: because everybody knows that this is a temporary situation. It's
- 28:33Speaker 8: not like the world ran out of oil so the
- 28:36Speaker 8: price of gasoline is going up. It's that there is
- 28:38Speaker 8: a you know, a war going on, and so that
- 28:41Speaker 8: makes people when people think about like can I afford
- 28:44Speaker 8: to spend this? Sometimes it helps them, sometimes it hurts them.
- 28:48Speaker 8: But they don't always think can I afford to spend
- 28:49Speaker 8: it right now? But can I afford to spend it
- 28:52Speaker 8: this year or over the next couple of years, So
- 28:55Speaker 8: they don't necessarily The economists called this a permanent ink
- 29:00Speaker 8: come a hypothesis. When you buy a house, for instance,
- 29:04Speaker 8: you know you can't pay it all off at once,
- 29:06Speaker 8: but you know you can over time. And that's how
- 29:08Speaker 8: people think about their household spending as well.
- 29:12Speaker 2: Yeah, hey, Friday, that's a SpaceX ipo supposed to be
- 29:16Speaker 2: one hundred and thirty five dollars. You know it'll probably
- 29:18Speaker 2: go nuts once the market's open and go to five hundred.
- 29:22Speaker 2: Who knows what will go to? What is that going
- 29:23Speaker 2: to do for the mood of the economy and the
- 29:27Speaker 2: stock market.
- 29:27Speaker 8: Yeah, I mean, yeah, well, it'll certainly make a bunch
- 29:31Speaker 8: of people who went to work for SpaceX a few
- 29:34Speaker 8: years ago, you know, very very wealthy. But I think
- 29:40Speaker 8: that look, stock markets at record highs. It has done
- 29:43Speaker 8: very well. That's another indication that the doomers on the
- 29:46Speaker 8: economy are wrong. The stock market actually isn't appreciating because
- 29:53Speaker 8: people are assigning higher valuations, meaning like stocks aren't getting
- 29:57Speaker 8: more expensive in terms of earning, but actually gotten less
- 30:00Speaker 8: expensive in terms of earnings. What's happening is people think
- 30:04Speaker 8: companies are going to make a lot of money, and SpaceX, look,
- 30:08Speaker 8: the valuation is, you know, pretty extreme. I always tell
- 30:13Speaker 8: people I don't buy I don't try to like get
- 30:16Speaker 8: on an ipo. The history of that isn't really great. Yes,
- 30:24Speaker 8: some do very well and people are very happy. But
- 30:26Speaker 8: you'll have other opportunities to buy stocks in the future.
- 30:29Speaker 8: You don't need to be you know, you're not actually
- 30:32Speaker 8: getting in on the ground floor when you buy an IPO.
- 30:34Speaker 8: The building's been built. You're actually just going and renting
- 30:38Speaker 8: the apartment from the guy who's owned it for ten years.
- 30:40Speaker 2: Yeah, and it'll go way up and then it'll come
- 30:43Speaker 2: way down and there'll be plenty of other times you
- 30:45Speaker 2: can get into SpaceX if you want to get into it.
- 30:47Speaker 7: That's right.
- 30:49Speaker 2: Hey, yea, a new FED chairman. Everything, Well, they've got
- 30:52Speaker 2: the rate increase. We need a rate decrease. We need
- 30:53Speaker 2: a rate increase. Does the FED rate really matter that
- 30:56Speaker 2: much right now?
- 30:58Speaker 8: No, I look, I don't think that we need a
- 31:01Speaker 8: rate increase at all. The things that are driving up
- 31:05Speaker 8: prices in particular are not lightly forge. It's the oil
- 31:12Speaker 8: shortage caused through the Gulf of Hormones are not going
- 31:15Speaker 8: to be addressed by higher interest rates. We don't see
- 31:20Speaker 8: those sort of like classic overheating, where there's too many
- 31:23Speaker 8: dollars chasing too few goods in the economy. That doesn't
- 31:26Speaker 8: seem to be happening. So I don't think there's any
- 31:29Speaker 8: need to raise rates. However, the good news I was
- 31:32Speaker 8: just telling you about employment means there's probably not a
- 31:35Speaker 8: huge need to cut rates right now either. If you
- 31:41Speaker 8: cut interest rates now, it is possible that you would
- 31:46Speaker 8: reduce inflation. Probably the right thing to do, and this
- 31:49Speaker 8: is nice for Kevin Morrish, is that it'll give them
- 31:51Speaker 8: some time to grow into the job is to wait,
- 31:55Speaker 8: let's see what happens over the next six months to
- 31:58Speaker 8: the economy and respond to that instead of you know,
- 32:02Speaker 8: coming in with like just a set view of what
- 32:04Speaker 8: should be done. I know the President wants lower interest rates,
- 32:07Speaker 8: and we may get them eventually, but you know what
- 32:10Speaker 8: I would like to say is, like, mister President, your economy,
- 32:15Speaker 8: in large part because of the tax cuts we put
- 32:18Speaker 8: in place last year, is doing very well. So and
- 32:23Speaker 8: the FED isn't going to cut when inflation is high
- 32:27Speaker 8: and there's no employment problem. Those are the two things
- 32:30Speaker 8: that tries to handle employment and prices, and if the
- 32:34Speaker 8: prices are still high and employment is doing very well,
- 32:37Speaker 8: they're not going.
- 32:38Speaker 2: To cut well. John Connie brilliant as always. He runs
- 32:42Speaker 2: the edits the Breitbart Business Digest. You should read that
- 32:46Speaker 2: every day. As I say, that's the first thing Scott
- 32:48Speaker 2: Beston reads in the morning, first thing Larry Cudlow reads
- 32:51Speaker 2: in the morning. President Trump looks at. You got to
- 32:54Speaker 2: read Breitbart Business Digest every day. Go to Breitbart and
- 32:58Speaker 2: where it says newsletters. Click on that and click on
- 33:01Speaker 2: Breitbart Business Digest and it's free. It'll come write to
- 33:03Speaker 2: your email. Just sign up for it. John Carney great stuff.
- 33:07Speaker 2: Thanks for being with us. Yeah, thanks for having me. Mark,
- 33:10Speaker 2: all right, take care. Hey, coming up at noon, it's

- 33:23Speaker 2: Jesse Kelly's every night six to nine. Jimmy Fayl a

- 33:29Speaker 2: you'll be You'll become a fan. You'll get hooked right away.
- 33:32Speaker 2: Jimmy Fayla every night nine to midnight, seven to ten WR.
- 33:37Speaker 1: Mister New York Mam, Mark Simon seven to ten wo R.
- 33:42Speaker 2: Well, Hey, well, take a break for the new It's
- 33:44Speaker 2: gonna be another beautiful day today, really nice. Now the
- 33:47Speaker 2: rest of the week it gets a lot hotter, and
- 33:50Speaker 2: this could be some rain, so today might be the
- 33:52Speaker 2: nicest day for the rest of the week. Hey, in
- 33:55Speaker 2: the next hour, we'll get to Scott Pelly, the most
- 33:59Speaker 2: pompless man ever. We'll take a look at some of
- 34:03Speaker 2: his He did this interview with The New York Times.
- 34:05Speaker 2: It's so cringey. We'll get to that. We'll get to
- 34:09Speaker 2: Elon Musk. We'll get to Crazy Mom Donnie the Nickson
- 34:12Speaker 2: more right after the news on seven to ten WR
- 34:16Speaker 2: Today's Insight.
- 34:17Speaker 1: Tomorrow's headline march them up seven to ten wo.
- 34:21Speaker 2: R Hey, it's Tuesday, Tomorrow night the Knicks. We'll play,
- 34:27Speaker 2: hopefully they'll win at Madison Square Garden. Tom Holman has
- 34:32Speaker 2: said he is gonna Kathy Hokel I'm crazy Mom, Donnie.
- 34:36Speaker 2: They want this to be the most sanctuary of sanctuary city,
- 34:40Speaker 2: so he's gonna surge ICE. You're going to see more
- 34:44Speaker 2: ICE agents in New York than every before, which is
- 34:46Speaker 2: good because it's law enforcement on the street. It's more
- 34:49Speaker 2: protection for everybody, although it does bring out the crazies.
- 34:52Speaker 2: Speaking to Crazy Mom Donnie.
- 34:55Speaker 6: I want to be very clear about the fact that
- 34:57Speaker 6: I believe that ice raids are cruel. They're in they
- 35:00Speaker 6: do nothing to serve in the interests of public safety.
- 35:03Speaker 6: I've shared that directly with the President. I've shared that
- 35:06Speaker 6: in public.
- 35:07Speaker 2: Now again, he's a left wing Democrat. They don't believe
- 35:11Speaker 2: in science. They never follow the science. If you study
- 35:14Speaker 2: the science, if you get rid of these illegal criminals
- 35:17Speaker 2: all over the street, illegal aliens that have come here
- 35:19Speaker 2: and started to commit crimes. If you get them off
- 35:22Speaker 2: the street, it is safer. That's the science. We've tested
- 35:25Speaker 2: this fifty million times and it always works.
- 35:28Speaker 1: Now.
- 35:28Speaker 2: Of course, if you have more law enforcement, you get
- 35:31Speaker 2: less crime, you get less trouble. That's simply the science.
- 35:34Speaker 2: But these Democrats don't believe in the science. They don't
- 35:38Speaker 2: follow it. He is so anti Ice. Actually he's the
- 35:42Speaker 2: one that's cruel. But again you can't you can't explain
- 35:44Speaker 2: this to them. He's the one that's cruel. I mean,
- 35:47Speaker 2: we had a really good immigration system. If you wanted
- 35:50Speaker 2: to immigrate to America, you'd come in through Ellis Island,
- 35:53Speaker 2: was very orderly and nice. The Mamdani left wing democrat
- 35:57Speaker 2: method of you swim across the Rio grand you climb
- 36:00Speaker 2: over a fence, you come in illegally. It's a cruel
- 36:03Speaker 2: way to have people come into the country. It's not right.
- 36:06Speaker 6: But mom, Donnie, I also do believe that Ice as
- 36:09Speaker 6: an entity is one that should be abolished and that
- 36:11Speaker 6: we should return to an immigration system that has more
- 36:14Speaker 6: humanity at the heart of it.
- 36:18Speaker 2: Again, it's not humane to have people break in, sneak in,
- 36:23Speaker 2: as they say, live in the shadows. Abolish Ice. It's
- 36:27Speaker 2: a law enforcement agency. See, if we're up to them,
- 36:29Speaker 2: there'd be no law enforcement. Everybody would just run around
- 36:33Speaker 2: doing whatever the hell they want. Total chaos. And they like,
- 36:36Speaker 2: these socialists love that total chaos because then you demand.
- 36:39Speaker 2: You know, if we're up to them, they just hand
- 36:43Speaker 2: your drugs and pot and you just stay home smoke
- 36:46Speaker 2: that all day, depend on the government for everything. To them,
- 36:50Speaker 2: that's a perfect world. They really like that. So hey,
- 36:54Speaker 2: Elon Musk. On Friday, his new stock, his new ipo SpaceX,
- 37:00Speaker 2: will debut. It will go crazy. Now here's another thing
- 37:06Speaker 2: to remember. When this stock hits the market, he will
- 37:10Speaker 2: become the first trillionaire ever in the world. He will
- 37:16Speaker 2: be a trillionaire by Friday night. Now, think about what
- 37:20Speaker 2: that means. A trillionaire. You know how Mom, Donnie and
- 37:24Speaker 2: Bernie Sanders, these billionaires, they're gonna have to change these trillionaires.
- 37:30Speaker 2: A trillionaire, think about that means you're a trillionaire. Let's
- 37:35Speaker 2: say you had a hole in your pants pocket nine
- 37:38Speaker 2: hundred billion fell out and you lost. It was with
- 37:41Speaker 2: us right down the sewer, gone forever. You wouldn't even care.
- 37:44Speaker 2: You'd have one hundred billion left a trillionaire. You know,
- 37:49Speaker 2: if you just if you put a billion dollars invested correctly,
- 37:56Speaker 2: you'd make yourself like, I don't know, one hundred one
- 38:00Speaker 2: hundred billion a year, one hundred millionayere is just an interest.
- 38:02Speaker 2: You couldn't spend it. If you tried, you couldn't. There's
- 38:05Speaker 2: nothing you could do to no matter how hard you
- 38:07Speaker 2: tried to spend that money, you couldn't do it. So
- 38:10Speaker 2: that'll happen on Friday. Hey, credit to Elon Musk. He's
- 38:13Speaker 2: also doing a great public service. You know. They got
- 38:17Speaker 2: these crazy left wing attack sites, and the worst of
- 38:20Speaker 2: them was this thing called Media Matters. You don't hear
- 38:23Speaker 2: about it anymore, but if you go back twenty years ago,
- 38:26Speaker 2: it was a vicious organization, Media Matters for America, Media Matters,
- 38:31Speaker 2: and they would sit there and listen to anything conservative
- 38:36Speaker 2: on radio, on TV. They would record it. They would
- 38:39Speaker 2: look for anything they could fact check. They would come
- 38:42Speaker 2: after you. They would launch these a tax and it
- 38:45Speaker 2: was a terrible, terrible, awful site. Hillary Clinton was one
- 38:48Speaker 2: of the founders. It's a bunch of left wing sorrows
- 38:51Speaker 2: types funded it. But Elon Musk started to go after
- 38:54Speaker 2: them about two years ago, massive lawsuits, spending a fortune
- 38:59Speaker 2: suing the hell well, he's just about bankrupted them. They
- 39:02Speaker 2: just had another round of layoffs. They should be out
- 39:04Speaker 2: of business by the by the end of the year.
- 39:07Speaker 2: He's really reduced the payroll there because he's just drained
- 39:10Speaker 2: their money. It's a horrible organization and good for him
- 39:14Speaker 2: for finally doing something about it. Hey, Scott Pelly, Oh,
- 39:19Speaker 2: I love this guy. I just love watching the interviews
- 39:22Speaker 2: of Scott Pelly. He is such a pompous man. I'm
- 39:28Speaker 2: Scott Pelly and he talks like this in the interviews,
- 39:31Speaker 2: and he's so serious. I've never seen a guy take
- 39:35Speaker 2: himself so seriously. Does this New York Times interview It's
- 39:39Speaker 2: so cringe worthy. Take a listen to some of this.
- 39:42Speaker 2: Let me see when I saw.
- 39:46Speaker 17: Nick Bilton's email and then saw him reading to my
- 39:50Speaker 17: broken hearted people off his phone.
- 39:54Speaker 2: Now, what's wrong with that? I still understand what his
- 39:57Speaker 2: problem is. He had a something you want to say
- 40:02Speaker 2: to the town hall meeting, and a lot of times
- 40:04Speaker 2: a guy will have it written out and people read
- 40:07Speaker 2: it off their phone. People at weddings they do a toast,
- 40:12Speaker 2: they read it off their phone. What is wrong with
- 40:14Speaker 2: that he read it off his phone. You know, every
- 40:20Speaker 2: company I've ever worked at, they fire people everywhere, and
- 40:24Speaker 2: if you're in the news business is Howie Carr said,
- 40:27Speaker 2: the kill rate is higher than the mob. People get
- 40:29Speaker 2: fired all the time.
- 40:33Speaker 17: I felt that somebody had to stand up for the broadcast,
- 40:36Speaker 17: not just the broadcast, but the people.
- 40:39Speaker 2: The people.
- 40:41Speaker 17: There are people in that room who go to war
- 40:43Speaker 17: zones when they are pregnant.
- 40:47Speaker 2: He's crying. Now, what the hell is he talking about.
- 40:55Speaker 2: I don't know any news organization that is sending a
- 40:57Speaker 2: pregnant woman to a war zone. He is crazy. What
- 41:02Speaker 2: a pompous asked this guy is?
- 41:08Speaker 17: Newsrooms are sort of like the military or the police.
- 41:11Speaker 2: So they're not.
- 41:14Speaker 17: The beautiful people at the FD and Y down the street.
- 41:17Speaker 17: It is a life threatening job in.
- 41:21Speaker 2: Many what a pompous ask? Can you imagine being a
- 41:25Speaker 2: fireman running into a burning building? Listen to this pompous blowhard.
- 41:31Speaker 2: You ever see where they work. You've probably passed the
- 41:36Speaker 2: CBS building over there on twelfth Avenue in fifty seventh,
- 41:41Speaker 2: that big, long building. You think, wow, it's not the fanciest. Look,
- 41:45Speaker 2: they don't work there. That's where the studios are and
- 41:48Speaker 2: the crew, but the Scott Pelley sixty minutes. They work
- 41:52Speaker 2: across the street in that luxurious, beautiful skyscraper, the one
- 41:55Speaker 2: with the BMW dealership is that's where they work, and
- 41:59Speaker 2: they're like fire police. You ever see where the police work,
- 42:04Speaker 2: it's not so fancy. This guy's in a luxurious, beautiful
- 42:08Speaker 2: office and he's just like the fire department. What a pompous.
- 42:15Speaker 17: And very strong emotional bonds are found are developed in
- 42:23Speaker 17: that kind of setting. And to have people running CBS
- 42:28Speaker 17: News who don't know that, never felt that, and don't
- 42:36Speaker 17: the hell's he.
- 42:36Speaker 2: Talking about this. Barry Weiss comes from New York Times.
- 42:39Speaker 2: She worked in a newsroom. Hey, we got a newsroom
- 42:41Speaker 2: right over there. We went down the hall, we went
- 42:43Speaker 2: over here. I've been in a million newsrooms. They're not
- 42:46Speaker 2: the close knit, bonded family. Half of them hate each other.
- 42:51Speaker 2: People get fired all the time. From every newsroom over there.
- 42:53Speaker 2: They got fired a few people over in the last
- 42:55Speaker 2: few years. It's not that close knit.
- 42:58Speaker 17: You're standard is a tragedy. I never expected to see.
- 43:04Speaker 2: Oh my god, what a pop has blowhard this guy is.
- 43:09Speaker 2: He was spotted by the way for the first time
- 43:11Speaker 2: since all this walking around Greenwich, Connecticut. He's a Greenwich resident.
- 43:17Speaker 2: I didn't know that. I'd spent a lot of weekends
- 43:19Speaker 2: in Greenwich. I've never seen this guy. Never saw him
- 43:22Speaker 2: at Jay House, never saw him at the Prime, never
- 43:24Speaker 2: saw him out. And of course I hear he was
- 43:28Speaker 2: at a bar, but they asked him to leave because
- 43:31Speaker 2: they wanted to start happy hour. Imagine this gluee. He
- 43:38Speaker 2: was photographed by the New York Post walking around Old
- 43:40Speaker 2: Greenwich in the village there. Okay, that's a little smaller
- 43:43Speaker 2: village there. He had lived in Derry Inn for years,
- 43:49Speaker 2: but there he was walking around. He's got dark glasses
- 43:53Speaker 2: on in case anybody recognizes him. Remember he said the
- 43:58Speaker 2: broadcast is finished. They're firing everywhere. The whole family's wiped out. Well,
- 44:02Speaker 2: from what I'm seeing here, Leslie Stall just resigned. Bill
- 44:06Speaker 2: Whitaker just resigned. John Wartime just resigned. They're staying with
- 44:11Speaker 2: the broadcast. Everything is fine. I give you a good
- 44:14Speaker 2: tip if you want to keep your job, don't go
- 44:17Speaker 2: into the meeting the town hall, in front of everybody
- 44:19Speaker 2: and tell the boss he's incompetent. He's disgusting. In fact,
- 44:24Speaker 2: you know what Pelly said in front of everybody. He
- 44:28Speaker 2: actually said to this new guy, why would you take
- 44:31Speaker 2: this job knowing you will not be welcome by anybody?
- 44:37Speaker 2: What kind is that to say? First of all, it's
- 44:40Speaker 2: a newsroom. You ever see how these people act. I
- 44:42Speaker 2: guarantee you half of them were kissing this guy's rear
- 44:44Speaker 2: end immediately trying to butter them up. But if you
- 44:48Speaker 2: talk like this, you know it's twenty twenty six. Now
- 44:51Speaker 2: get a younger guy there. You don't need a guy
- 44:55Speaker 2: who is going to talk like this. It doesn't work
- 44:59Speaker 2: in the in twenty twenty six. Get rid of him.
- 45:03Speaker 2: So far, nobody has hired him. I can't imagine anybody's
- 45:06Speaker 2: gonna want to hire this guy. But if you can
- 45:09Speaker 2: go see the video the New York Times interview, you
- 45:12Speaker 2: gotta watch it. It is so laughable. He is just
- 45:16Speaker 2: such a pompous idiot. Hey remember Trump? President Trump walked
- 45:23Speaker 2: out on the Meet the Press interview and he said,
- 45:25Speaker 2: you know you're crooked, you're a liar, you're this and this.
- 45:30Speaker 2: Hell you kind of behave like that, and I've never
- 45:32Speaker 2: seen a president do that. Well, people have been posting
- 45:35Speaker 2: online the clips of Joe Biden doing much worse. There's
- 45:40Speaker 2: a million clips, and it's always a female interviewer of
- 45:43Speaker 2: Joe Biden yelling at the female interview calling her names,
- 45:46Speaker 2: storming out, give him a hard time. Here's Joe Biden.
- 45:52Speaker 2: These are different female interviewer.
- 45:54Speaker 14: I said, tell.
- 45:59Speaker 18: Helloa, what are you doing over someone that I said was?
- 46:07Speaker 18: I said one on the floor and got you votes.
- 46:11Speaker 19: I got votes for that bill. I convince people to
- 46:15Speaker 19: vote for it. So let's get those things straight too,
- 46:17Speaker 19: the same things. You do not know what you're talking about.
- 46:20Speaker 19: No one said that, who said that said that?
- 46:24Speaker 16: Answer the question?
- 46:24Speaker 2: Who went up?
- 46:25Speaker 17: I got fixed, so you're not. And even the people
- 46:29Speaker 17: in his administration have.
- 46:30Speaker 11: Testified to my character, testified to my honesty.
- 46:33Speaker 2: Collect and like we just discovered this year. I wish
- 46:35Speaker 2: you could see this. It's a video. It's up on
- 46:37Speaker 2: my Twitter if you want to see. Because he's poking
- 46:39Speaker 2: his finger right in her face. Each one of them's
- 46:41Speaker 2: poking a finger right in their face. It's so ugly
- 46:44Speaker 2: to watch. Hey, this crazy mom Donnie wants to throw
- 46:48Speaker 2: this big watch party in Central Park when the FIFA
- 46:51Speaker 2: World Cup starts, fifty thousand people on the Great Lawn.
- 46:56Speaker 2: This is going to be a real problem. This is
- 46:59Speaker 2: going to end in disaster. Most likely it'll be July nineteenth,
- 47:03Speaker 2: Central Park's Great Lawn. They're going to total of fifty
- 47:07Speaker 2: two thousand tickets are up for grabs. They're going to
- 47:10Speaker 2: do some kind of a lottery or something for these spots,
- 47:14Speaker 2: be a number of spots for local nonprofit organizations NYC
- 47:18Speaker 2: service volunteers. This event made possible through a six million
- 47:23Speaker 2: dollar investment from Empire State Development combined with three point
- 47:28Speaker 2: five million in city dollars. Why are we spending all
- 47:31Speaker 2: this money on this? First of all, fifty you saw
- 47:34Speaker 2: what happened in Bryant Park with two thousand people that
- 47:37Speaker 2: ended up in a riot last night. Fifty thousand people
- 47:40Speaker 2: Central Park, the Great Lawn. Oh, look at this. Oh,
- 47:44Speaker 2: I didn't see this. MC's for the event will be
- 47:49Speaker 2: Charlemagne the God and Elvis Duran, two co workers. Charlemagne's
- 47:55Speaker 2: in the next studio and Elvis Duran is down in
- 47:57Speaker 2: the hall.
- 47:58Speaker 14: Uh.
- 47:58Speaker 2: Oh, well, hopefully it'll go well. I don't know what
- 48:03Speaker 2: these guys. I don't know if these guys know what
- 48:04Speaker 2: they're getting themselves into. Hey, I mentioned before the fact
- 48:08Speaker 2: that we're having another game. One game brings in about
- 48:12Speaker 2: ninety two million in revenue to New York people spending
- 48:15Speaker 2: money on restaurants, hotels, all that sort of stuff. New
- 48:20Speaker 2: York City hospitality leaders say the whole Knicks series, the
- 48:24Speaker 2: Knicks run everything about the Knicks, bringing in about four
- 48:28Speaker 2: hundred and sixty five million dollars. Four hundred and sixty
- 48:31Speaker 2: five million dollars. I remember if people come in and
- 48:34Speaker 2: they're buying tons of stuff, merchandise, Nick's merchandise, Knicks hats, shirts,
- 48:39Speaker 2: all that sort of stuff. Hey, you know, I'm looking
- 48:43Speaker 2: at the front row, all the celebrities. You know, you
- 48:46Speaker 2: see a lot of these guys. Larry David comes in
- 48:49Speaker 2: a sweater, and Michael Bloomberg comes in one of those
- 48:53Speaker 2: zip up things that financial guys wear. And Spike Lee
- 48:58Speaker 2: comes with a Knicks uniform. On a couple of these guys,
- 49:02Speaker 2: we've got the nixt unit. What the hell is that all?
- 49:04Speaker 2: What do you think they're going to be short of
- 49:05Speaker 2: player something? They may all of a sudden call on
- 49:09Speaker 2: you to come in the game. They might need four
- 49:11Speaker 2: foot eight Spike Lee to come in there and help
- 49:13Speaker 2: them out. Luigi Mangioni has a sister. She just got
- 49:20Speaker 2: a big job at a hospital. Her name is Maria
- 49:25Speaker 2: Santa Mangioni in thirty six. Apparently a brilliant woman, all
- 49:30Speaker 2: kinds of degrees and all kinds. She's going to just
- 49:33Speaker 2: been hired by Johns Hopkins University. That's some job interview.
- 49:39Speaker 2: I notice here that your brother assassinates healthcare officials. Is
- 49:42Speaker 2: that going to be a problem for you? No, no, no,
- 49:44Speaker 2: I don't do that. I don't do That's that side
- 49:45Speaker 2: of the thing. Okay. But she's got quite a background,
- 49:49Speaker 2: you know, the Luigi Mangian Ivy League kid went to
- 49:52Speaker 2: the University of Pennsylvania. The sister has quite an academic background,
- 49:56Speaker 2: but just took the took this new job. Hey, we'll
- 49:58Speaker 2: take some calls. Next eight high hundred three two one
- 50:02Speaker 2: zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three two
- 50:05Speaker 2: one zero seven ten.
- 50:07Speaker 1: Will Mark Simon Show Live from the w R Lifeback studios.
- 50:15Speaker 2: Hey, well, takes some calls. Eight hundred three to two
- 50:17Speaker 2: one zero seven ten is the number. Let's go to
- 50:20Speaker 2: John and Florida. John, how you doing?
- 50:23Speaker 13: Mark? How come to the Supreme Quarters? Not stepping in
- 50:26Speaker 13: internal the states and cities and governors and may.
- 50:29Speaker 20: There's no a sanctuary city. They have the follow the constitutions.
- 50:33Speaker 13: We're not anymal of the rock.
- 50:35Speaker 2: Well, you know, they go back and forth, they find
- 50:38Speaker 2: out in the end, yes, you're right, federal law supersedes
- 50:42Speaker 2: local law. There actually is no such thing as a
- 50:45Speaker 2: sanctuary city. You can declare yourself that. It just means
- 50:48Speaker 2: that the locals, which they control, local law enforcement, will
- 50:51Speaker 2: do nothing to look the other way. But the Feds
- 50:54Speaker 2: again can come in and do what they have to do.
- 50:57Speaker 2: And that's what's going to happen here. Federal law always
- 51:01Speaker 2: supersedes local law. Let's go to Joe in Westchester. Joe,
- 51:04Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 51:06Speaker 7: Good morning, Mark, how are you good. I've enjoyed your
- 51:09Speaker 7: sister a wn e w days and for the most part,
- 51:13Speaker 7: appreciate your view of the world. Where they thought a
- 51:16Speaker 7: simple comment that drag any Luigi Mangeoli's sister into this
- 51:21Speaker 7: and Kayde hurt in some way which he just got
- 51:25Speaker 7: a nice job in Johns Hopkins was a bit distasteful.
- 51:30Speaker 2: Well, every time we'd like to have a very very somber,
- 51:33Speaker 2: serious guy like you call up and rain all over
- 51:36Speaker 2: our parade. Thank you wait, too serious, listen, Let's go
- 51:43Speaker 2: to uh uh, Let's go to Mike in Florida. Mike,
- 51:47Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 51:48Speaker 20: Good morning, Mark, Mark.
- 51:50Speaker 2: I don't appreciate you laughing like that. This is very serious.
- 51:55Speaker 20: Sorry, Joe from Westchester.
- 51:57Speaker 2: You should you should team up with Scott Pelley. You
- 52:00Speaker 2: two can go around scolding everybody.
- 52:04Speaker 20: That's right, you've made it. You're really killing it today
- 52:07Speaker 20: in the show. It's unbelievable how many points that I
- 52:09Speaker 20: totallymitten down with. One is the soccer watch parties. Have
- 52:13Speaker 20: they never heard of soccer riots, which are like a
- 52:16Speaker 20: worldwide phenomenon. I mean, there have been wars for it
- 52:19Speaker 20: over soccer games in the past. And the other one
- 52:22Speaker 20: is the Knick's court side seats. You know who. I
- 52:24Speaker 20: didn't see you sitting in any of those very expensive
- 52:27Speaker 20: seats stillyl Aliens.
- 52:29Speaker 2: Yeah, well, yeah, that's true. Hey, every time they show
- 52:33Speaker 2: where Trump is sitting with Dolan, it looks so beautiful, luxurious.
- 52:38Speaker 2: You see that, it's the most beautiful, like leather reclinery.
- 52:40Speaker 2: Sitting in your courtside, You're sitting on a folding chair.
- 52:44Speaker 2: Why wouldn't you want to go sit in the box there,
- 52:46Speaker 2: sit in a luxury suite.
- 52:47Speaker 20: Much The box is so does food right outside there's catering.
- 52:51Speaker 20: I mean, I've sat in boxes in other stadiums in
- 52:54Speaker 20: New York. You never want to you know, you could
- 52:58Speaker 20: live there. They're phenomenal. It's so jurious. I don't know
- 53:00Speaker 20: why you want to sit getting sweated on.
- 53:03Speaker 2: No and it's you ever go to the Yankee game
- 53:05Speaker 2: and sit in the front row on the first baseline.
- 53:07Speaker 2: You think that's the greatest seat there is. It's horrible.
- 53:10Speaker 2: It's scary because you can't take your eye off the
- 53:13Speaker 2: ball the whole game. You have to keep watching because
- 53:15Speaker 2: you could get killed if the foul balls coming at you.
- 53:17Speaker 2: You're like right there.
- 53:18Speaker 20: And not only that, and not only that, but once
- 53:21Speaker 20: the guy stands up in the back and on on
- 53:23Speaker 20: deck circle, you can't see anything.
- 53:26Speaker 2: Yeah, now sit back, Hey, the owner can have a
- 53:29Speaker 2: seat anywhere he wants. You Notice he always sits up
- 53:32Speaker 2: in that box. You never see the owner sitting in
- 53:33Speaker 2: one of those folding chairs in the front. All right,
- 53:37Speaker 2: thanks for calling. Let's go to Marco in the Bronx. Marco,
- 53:40Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 53:42Speaker 8: Hey, Mark, thanks for taking the call. Everybody told me
- 53:45Speaker 8: about Spike Lee and wearing a jersey from the Knicks.
- 53:49Speaker 8: Did you see what it had written?
- 53:50Speaker 14: On it.
- 53:51Speaker 8: No, it had pulp LEO forty two for the forty
- 53:57Speaker 8: second pulp. You know why right, Well was not coming
- 54:01Speaker 8: to New York because of Trump saying that the you know,
- 54:05Speaker 8: the immigrants.
- 54:06Speaker 2: Or what do you know?
- 54:09Speaker 8: So he wore that Jersey. How ridiculous that nobody's saying
- 54:13Speaker 8: anything about it. Well, we know how Spike Lee is.
- 54:17Speaker 2: He's a nice guy, kind of goofy. But listen, when
- 54:19Speaker 2: it comes to major political issues, foreign policy, I don't
- 54:22Speaker 2: usually look to Spike Lee for guidance.
- 54:25Speaker 7: On any of that.
- 54:26Speaker 2: Don't worry about what he thinks. Let's go to uh
- 54:30Speaker 2: Joe in New Jersey. Joe, how you doing? Wait a minute,
- 54:35Speaker 2: I got to push the button. Joe. Go ahead.
- 54:38Speaker 21: Oh hey, Mark, how you doing? I'm doing great, buddy.
- 54:41Speaker 21: So it Mark two quick statements and then a question.
- 54:44Speaker 2: So first, these guys that call the whole outline of
- 54:47Speaker 2: the call, they've got to laid out a whole, very
- 54:49Speaker 2: struct program for the call. Yes, okay, go ahead.
- 54:53Speaker 21: I know I speak for your audience right now.
- 54:55Speaker 2: Just you're very lucky. We have to kill about a
- 54:57Speaker 2: minute and a half here. We love you, otherwise it'd.
- 54:59Speaker 21: Be we love you so much. I just you know,
- 55:02Speaker 21: conservatives all around that listen to your show like you're.
- 55:06Speaker 2: Really up in preamble.
- 55:09Speaker 21: What's the I'm sorry man, so so listen. You know,
- 55:12Speaker 21: here's why Maga and all conservatives can't stand our party.
- 55:16Speaker 21: The Republicans are in a position they have the House,
- 55:19Speaker 21: the Congress, they can get the Save Act passed. I
- 55:22Speaker 21: can't think of a better stake to drive through the
- 55:25Speaker 21: heart of the wicked left than voter integrity, and our
- 55:30Speaker 21: party won't get it done. Now my question the Republicans, well.
- 55:35Speaker 2: I'm not a Republican, I'm not a Democrat. I can't
- 55:38Speaker 2: stand either.
- 55:38Speaker 21: Well, I'm looking at the party that's in power that
- 55:41Speaker 21: we have the best chance to get this stuff passed.
- 55:44Speaker 21: And these fools are in there and they have the
- 55:45Speaker 21: power and they can't get it passed. Get it passed.
- 55:48Speaker 21: It's that important. My question, do you think with Trump's
- 55:52Speaker 21: thirty seven uh you know backings that he just pulled off,
- 55:57Speaker 21: if let's say most of those guys.
- 55:59Speaker 2: You killed them in that and that's what we needed
- 56:02Speaker 2: and we've got to go do the news. But hey,
- 56:04Speaker 2: you made your point. We don't know what it is
- 56:06Speaker 2: you love you, bro, Thanks for killing some time for
- 56:11Speaker 2: thank you. Anyway, when we come back, Bill O'Reilly will
- 56:14Speaker 2: be with us. Hey, he's always We'll ask him. We
- 56:17Speaker 2: see him sitting in those seats in the front, those
- 56:19Speaker 2: nick seats in the folding chair. But we'll talk to
- 56:22Speaker 2: him about that. All kinds of things coming up next
- 56:24Speaker 2: on seven to ten wo R.
- 56:27Speaker 1: It's the Mark Simone Show on seventenor.
- 56:33Speaker 13: Well.
- 56:33Speaker 2: Bill o'reiley, the great TV anchor for decades, the best
- 56:37Speaker 2: selling author. It's got a million things going on if
- 56:40Speaker 2: you if you want to know everything, go to Bill
- 56:42Speaker 2: O'Reilly dot com. Bill O'Reilly dot com. It's got the
- 56:45Speaker 2: new podcast. We'll do it live. Make sure you see
- 56:48Speaker 2: the latest episode Victor Davis Hansen. It's riveting. And of
- 56:52Speaker 2: course his YouTube channel Bill O'Reilly at YouTube. But if
- 56:55Speaker 2: you go to his website you can get the links
- 56:57Speaker 2: to everything there. Just go to Bill O'Reilly dot com.
- 57:01Speaker 2: Bill O'Reilly, how you doing, MARKA? Are you good? Let
- 57:07Speaker 2: me ask you something these I'm watching the Knicks games.
- 57:10Speaker 2: I see Trump in the suite, big leather chair. You
- 57:12Speaker 2: couldn't be more luxurious, comfortable. These people in the floor seats.
- 57:16Speaker 2: It's a folding chair with the people sweating all over you.
- 57:19Speaker 2: What is the attraction of the floor.
- 57:23Speaker 13: Notoriety. So a guy like Ben Stiller really didn't have
- 57:28Speaker 13: much of a career, correct, Yeah, I mean I'm not
- 57:33Speaker 13: disparaging him, but he's not a guy that people are
- 57:38Speaker 13: talking about. He gets four or five shots on national
- 57:43Speaker 13: television sitting in the front row at the Nick game.
- 57:47Speaker 13: That hypes him up. And that's why these celebrities do it.
- 57:53Speaker 13: I think you know most of them like basketball too,
- 57:55Speaker 13: they're Nick fans, but it's it's a big pi thing
- 58:00Speaker 13: for them to go to the Garden and have people
- 58:03Speaker 13: sweat on you.
- 58:06Speaker 2: But you've actually sat there, so what is it like
- 58:09Speaker 2: you're about to get crashed into it any second?
- 58:11Speaker 13: Yeah, it's a little tight. I'm six' four about one.
- 58:15Speaker 13: Ninety it's a little. Tight but the REASON i go
- 58:23Speaker 13: is to watch the. GAME i, mean they're ever going
- 58:25Speaker 13: to put me on the jumbo. TRON i, mean that's not.
- 58:30Speaker 13: There The garden is not that hospitable to, me whereas
- 58:37Speaker 13: all the other stadiums and arenas in The New york
- 58:42Speaker 13: area and across the country ARE i never quite figured it,
- 58:45Speaker 13: out BUT i pay for my seats and then't take
- 58:49Speaker 13: anything for a lot of these, cellibs you, know they
- 58:52Speaker 13: take it, gratis not. Me see you see me. There
- 58:55Speaker 13: you KNOW i paid the freight and, uh but you
- 58:58Speaker 13: know the folks are. There it's. Chat i'm happy to.
- 59:02Speaker 14: Go.
- 59:03Speaker 2: Hey but here's a picture somebody put. Online this is
- 59:05Speaker 2: you And Donald trump sitting together at the GAME i
- 59:07Speaker 2: think twenty.
- 59:08Speaker 13: Fourteen, YEAH i MEAN i went to a number Of
- 59:11Speaker 13: nick games with. Him in, fact at one of, them
- 59:14Speaker 13: he told me he was going to run for president
- 59:17Speaker 13: AND i looked at, HIM i said of what? Country
- 59:20Speaker 13: AND i thought he was going to buy Up bolivia
- 59:23Speaker 13: and then install. Himself but, yeah we used to go
- 59:28Speaker 13: To mit And yankee And nick games all the, time
- 59:32Speaker 13: and it was before he had any interest in, politics
- 59:40Speaker 13: simply a. Businessman But i'd known him for thirty five
- 59:43Speaker 13: years AND i knew he was a sports, fan so
- 59:46Speaker 13: occasionally we go to see the. Games always had a good.
- 59:49Speaker 2: Time so When Kathy ogle says he doesn't know any
- 59:52Speaker 2: about the next he's not really A knicks, fan you
- 59:53Speaker 2: can testify that she's one hundred percent.
- 59:56Speaker 13: Wrong Kathy, hogel who's at the governor.
- 1:00:02Speaker 8: That?
- 1:00:02Speaker 13: One, YEAH i, mean, LOOK i way beyond Governor hophill
- 1:00:08Speaker 13: at this. Point once she came out and Uh quasi
- 1:00:13Speaker 13: supported the banishment of the words mom and dad in state,
- 1:00:18Speaker 13: CORRESPONDENCE i, MEAN i just hung it. Up that's it for.
- 1:00:22Speaker 13: Me if she's going to be she didn't sign, it
- 1:00:26Speaker 13: and she won't sign until after the. Election BUT i
- 1:00:30Speaker 13: mean she should have condemned, it and she. Didn't you,
- 1:00:34Speaker 13: know we're in his zone there THAT i guess Some
- 1:00:37Speaker 13: new York is feel comfortable in. IT i don't for.
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: People listening to don't, know you're not. Kidding there's a
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: bill that has passed that you're not allowed to use
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: word mother or father in any, government, state. Anything.
- 1:00:48Speaker 13: Yeah and once you get into that, zone that crazy lunatic,
- 1:00:54Speaker 13: ZONE i check.
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: Out.
- 1:00:56Speaker 13: Yeah i'm not not even going to bother with you,
- 1:01:00Speaker 13: anymore both professionally and, personally because life is short AND
- 1:01:05Speaker 13: i don't have time to deal with. MORONS i really.
- 1:01:07Speaker 13: Don't and she doesn't care one way or the. Other
- 1:01:10Speaker 13: she's just doing to try to assemble political, powers trying
- 1:01:14Speaker 13: to Beat, blakeman and she fills her progressive. Masters the
- 1:01:17Speaker 13: people who control her want, this which they, do so
- 1:01:22Speaker 13: she sits on.
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: It, wow only Giving blakeman more ammunition if they ever
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: have to, debate Which i'm sure they. Will but, hey
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: you've spent your whole life in, newsrooms news. Organizations i'm
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: sure you've been fired a few. Times we all. Have
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: it's perfectly. Normal shows get. Canceled have you ever seen
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: anything Like Scott, pelly the way he just stood up
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: like This pampus asked and told off the.
- 1:01:44Speaker 16: Boss, WELL i, Have.
- 1:01:50Speaker 13: And that's a good question you're, asking Because i've been
- 1:01:53Speaker 13: in the business more than fifty, years forty two of
- 1:01:57Speaker 13: them working for, corporations Which i'll never do. AGAIN i
- 1:02:01Speaker 13: have my own corporations, now And i'm a lot happier
- 1:02:04Speaker 13: run on my own. Show But pelly lives in a
- 1:02:08Speaker 13: world where he basically feels. Noble that's a. Keyword he's.
- 1:02:15Speaker 13: Noble so he Hates, trump and As odattie, DOES i
- 1:02:20Speaker 13: mean in six years That Donald trump has been president six,
- 1:02:23Speaker 13: years sixty, minutes has run one favorable SoundBite in six,
- 1:02:29Speaker 13: years and that was some guy saying the tariffs might. Work,
- 1:02:33Speaker 13: okay that's. It and all the rest of the coverage
- 1:02:38Speaker 13: On trump has been. Negative so don't tell me that
- 1:02:42Speaker 13: you're some kind of journalist looking for the. Truth you're.
- 1:02:45Speaker 13: Not you are a left wing zealot who is trying
- 1:02:51Speaker 13: to impose his point of view on a. Country that's
- 1:02:54Speaker 13: What Scott pelley. Is but he's never going to admit
- 1:02:58Speaker 13: that because this circle that he runs in both socially
- 1:03:03Speaker 13: In Connecticut greenwich and In New York city AT cbs,
- 1:03:08Speaker 13: headquarters they're all like he. Is they're, All, Hey, Trump
- 1:03:13Speaker 13: so there's a normalcy for. That and then When kelly
- 1:03:18Speaker 13: gets gets called out on, it which is what this
- 1:03:21Speaker 13: is all, about he's, Indignant, oh how can you do
- 1:03:26Speaker 13: this to? Me i'm just a journalist and you're trying
- 1:03:29Speaker 13: to tell ME i can't DO, X y AND. Z, Hey,
- 1:03:32Speaker 13: scott the fix was in from the Moment trump got into,
- 1:03:36Speaker 13: politics and you know. It so don't give me it
- 1:03:40Speaker 13: is you're a noble guy because you didn't even try
- 1:03:44Speaker 13: to cover him in a balanced. Way and that is the.
- 1:03:49Speaker 13: Truth BUT i know tons of people in the journalistic
- 1:03:53Speaker 13: world like, that far more than our traditional. Conservatives.
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: Wow, Hey Kristen, welker that meet the present interview Where
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: trump got up In. Walker you've interviewed a lot of.
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: Presidents you've been in that seat a. Lot she was
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: a little over the top with, HER i, mean a bit,
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: rude but.
- 1:04:14Speaker 13: It's the Same Scott pelley syndrome That Ms. Walker welker,
- 1:04:20Speaker 13: has the same exact. Thing so she's from a family
- 1:04:25Speaker 13: that are Ardent democrats who have given thousands of dollars
- 1:04:28Speaker 13: to advance The Democratic. Party nothing wrong with that she's
- 1:04:32Speaker 13: in the. Family but don't tell, Me kristen that you're
- 1:04:37Speaker 13: going in looking for a fair. Interview you're. Not so
- 1:04:42Speaker 13: there are two ways to ask, questions as you, KNOW
- 1:04:44Speaker 13: i mean you're an interviewer of the highest level in.
- 1:04:50Speaker 13: Radio there are two ways to ask the. Question, informational
- 1:04:56Speaker 13: Like President, trump you say the The california election was.
- 1:05:03Speaker 13: Rigged what are you basing that? On, well what is
- 1:05:09Speaker 13: the main thing that The americans should know about your?
- 1:05:12Speaker 13: Opinion that's? Informational confrontational is, hey there's no evidence of.
- 1:05:19Speaker 13: Anything what are you talking? About and that's What wilga.
- 1:05:24Speaker 13: DID i mean last, night the coverage on The california
- 1:05:29Speaker 13: elections was on every. Network trump's baseless assertion that there
- 1:05:37Speaker 13: was fraud In. California how can you say it's? Baseless
- 1:05:41Speaker 13: did you INVESTIGATED Nbc? News did you Send Kristen welker
- 1:05:47Speaker 13: out there to see if there was something. Wrong, no you.
- 1:05:53Speaker 13: Didn't you slap on the description baseless because you DON'T I.
- 1:06:00Speaker 13: Trump and, so getting back To Scott, kelly this is
- 1:06:07Speaker 13: the whole. Crew this is what they. Do my job
- 1:06:11Speaker 13: is to Make trump look, bad not to get. Information.
- 1:06:19Speaker 13: LISTEN i interviewed five, presidents and every one of THEM
- 1:06:23Speaker 13: i asked the toughest QUESTIONS i could think, of but
- 1:06:26Speaker 13: they weren't. DISRESPECTFUL i didn't say To GEORGE. W bush
- 1:06:32Speaker 13: you're a? Moron or what are you doing In? IRAQ
- 1:06:36Speaker 13: i didn't say To, obama why are you unfreezing assets To?
- 1:06:42Speaker 13: IRAN i didn't do that in an accusatory. WAY i would,
- 1:06:48Speaker 13: say you did, this mister, president can you explain the
- 1:06:55Speaker 13: rationale behind? It, now With, trump to be, fair you're
- 1:07:00Speaker 13: not going to get a thoughtful. Answer you're going to
- 1:07:05Speaker 13: get what he, believes and he believes the election two
- 1:07:08Speaker 13: twenty and The california election were. Fraught you are not
- 1:07:11Speaker 13: going to get him out of that. Ever, yeah, okay
- 1:07:16Speaker 13: but you can, say give me your best, shot mister
- 1:07:20Speaker 13: president on to. Twenty give me one thing THAT i
- 1:07:26Speaker 13: can take home and, say you, Know President trump may
- 1:07:30Speaker 13: have a. Point give me one and he'll probably, go,
- 1:07:34Speaker 13: well here's a million of. Them, okay but you're asking
- 1:07:39Speaker 13: the question to get, information not to make him look.
