- 0:34Every day I put forward 4 videos on this channel and all the
- 0:37other channels every day. So guys, early intervention with
- 0:41autism. You know, one of the most
- 0:42interesting things is that autism exists in people from
- 0:45birth. You know, you're born with
- 0:46autism. It's not something that just
- 0:47develops, it's something that is there.
- 0:49It's neural developmental, which means that it does increase in
- 0:52its potential of certain kind of characteristics and traits the
- 0:55older you get. And some things are more
- 0:58prominent than others. And that's just the nature of
- 1:00autism. Now before I go any further, I
- 1:02just want to say that I do have a 50% off link for Autism
- 1:05Parenting magazine, which is an amazing resource.
- 1:07So if you're interested in that, click the affiliate link down
- 1:09below. It helps me out a little bit,
- 1:10but also helps you out because you guys get money off, which is
- 1:12pretty awesome. That's a really good magazine
- 1:14and I highly recommend it. So why is Alien to mention
- 1:17important? Now usually a person on the
- 1:20autism fashion will be diagnosed between the ages of like three
- 1:23and five years old. Now this is because a lot of the
- 1:26research was done and a lot of the kind of diagnostic criteria
- 1:29isn't able to be completed until a person is around three years
- 1:33old. Now they are diagnosing children
- 1:36younger than three. Now it's relatively a new thing
- 1:40where you have someone on the opsin spectrum diagnosed maybe
- 1:43at 18 months old, which is really, really super young.
- 1:46And I believe that there are more advances in how they set an
- 1:50examiner person for autism spectrum condition.
- 1:53But the beauty of having a diagnosis early is that you can
- 1:56get the intervention in early. Now the the intervention is not
- 1:59like you're trying to correct something wrong with somebody.
- 2:01That's not I'm trying to say the intention is having access to
- 2:04support and help where you'll need it.
- 2:06So autistic individuals would really benefit from having early
- 2:09intervention on someone understanding their mind or
- 2:13their outburst and their emotional controls.
- 2:15So the parents get early intervention for them, so they
- 2:17know how to handle and deal with their child better.
- 2:20Which means that the child has a stable and more inclusive
- 2:23environment that they can then thrive for as they grow older.
- 2:26Because you got to think about it.
- 2:27If you, if you're like me and you went to school, you know,
- 2:31with the with autism but you didn't have any help there and
- 2:33schools a struggle and they, you know, didn't like school at all
- 2:36by the time I got to an adult. And then I realized, Oh my
- 2:38goodness, so I had support. If I had intervention earlier on
- 2:41then school would be a different experience really.
- 2:43And This is why it's so important.
- 2:46You want to give everybody the best chance of life and by
- 2:48giving them early intervention so you have access to support
- 2:51therapies, parent coaching, all that kind of stuff.
- 2:54Then the child, the person on the autism spectrum has the best
- 2:58chance at life to create the best ability for them.
- 3:01Now guys, if you think this video is important to share,
