  Speaker 4: The Keys to Personal Revival. I believe that this is

  Speaker 4: a time when the whole church, as a family of

  Speaker 4: faith and Calgary there is seeking the face of the Lord,

  Speaker 4: trusting him for direction, trusting him to step into higher
• 3:59
  Speaker 4: levels in the faith, and this I believe by the

  Speaker 4: spirit is a timely message to help guide you through
• 4:08
  Speaker 4: the process of prayer. And first let me read Hubakuk

  Speaker 4: thrie athers two. He says, Oh Lord, I have heard

  Speaker 4: in our lifetime. But the Bible and then history has

  Speaker 4: a lot to tell us about revivals, men and women

  Speaker 4: who walked upon the face of the earth and were

  Speaker 4: used mightily by God to wrote writers usness and to

  Speaker 4: promote the cause of the kingdom. We also have records

  Speaker 4: of nations that came under the influence of an awakening,

  Speaker 4: a moment of power, a moment of God consciousness.

  Speaker 3: So write this very quickly. What is a revival?

  Speaker 4: A revival represents an awakening. A revival represents a moment
• 5:26
  Speaker 4: in time, either in the life of an individual or
• 5:29
  Speaker 4: over a territory, where there is a heightened level of

  Speaker 4: God consciousness. There is a heightened level of Christ consciousness.

  Speaker 4: There is a heightened level of righteousness. There is a heightened.

  Speaker 3: Level of the move of the spirit.

  Speaker 4: All of these factors represent revival. The heightened level of

  Speaker 4: God consciousness, Christ consciousness, a heightened level of science and wonders,

  Speaker 4: and the pouring of the Spirit. Now, a revival can

  Speaker 4: happen across the territory, such as the Weld's revival. For

  Speaker 4: those of us who are students of Bible history and
• 6:16
  Speaker 4: then modern history, we have their Sousar Street revival. And

  Speaker 4: those of you in Canada, that's not far from you.

  Speaker 3: It was in the US. So it's history that.

  Speaker 4: You know, a moment in time when the power of
• 6:30
  Speaker 4: God moved so mightily across territories. Then we have personal revival.

  Speaker 4: So we have territorial revivals where the power of God.

  Speaker 3: Comes across the territory, and.

  Speaker 4: Then we have personal revivals. My concern for this session

  Speaker 4: is a personal revival, a moment where your life comes

  Speaker 4: under an unusual influence of the power, the grace of God,

  Speaker 4: with a determination to know the Lord and to save
• 7:01
  Speaker 4: him acceptably. It says revived thy walks even in the

  Speaker 4: midst of the years. There are keys very quickly that
• 7:11
  Speaker 4: control revival. It looks as though in every generation there

  Speaker 4: seems to.

  Speaker 4: What is the secret that controls the unusual dimension of

  Speaker 4: And I hope that as we journey through Scripture would

  Speaker 4: find keys that will ignite us and set us on fire.

  Speaker 4: I have three keys down here, and then will pray

  Speaker 4: number one. The first key that is responsible for personal
• 8:03
  Speaker 4: revival and awakening in the life of an individual, in
• 8:08
  Speaker 4: the life of a church is the price or the
• 8:13
  Speaker 4: key of intimacy, the price of intimacy with the Holy Spirit, passion,
• 8:21
  Speaker 4: and surrender. I have learned from Scripture, from my own life,
• 8:29
  Speaker 4: and from the privilege of on common mentorship, that intimacy
• 8:36
  Speaker 4: controls power, Intimacy in the spirit controls relevance. Many believers
• 8:45
  Speaker 4: want to experience the power of God, the glory of God,
• 8:48
  Speaker 4: but are largely unwilling to commit themselves to spend time
• 8:55
  Speaker 4: to know the Lord, to spend time to pueld intimacy.

  Speaker 4: Timacy would require time, an investment of time. Jeremiah Chapter

  Speaker 4: seventeen will read from verse nine and ten. Jeremiah Chapter

  Speaker 4: seventeen from verse nine and ten. The heart condition of

  Speaker 4: a man is a very big deal to God. In

  Speaker 4: doing business with God, the primary port of call is

  Speaker 4: the state of a man's heart more than the religious

  Speaker 4: man's heart, the purity, the sincerity, the motif, and the motivation.

  Speaker 4: I have learned that the motif, what sponsors every spiritual activity,

  Speaker 4: is a big deal to God.

  Speaker 3: The Bible talks about.

  Speaker 4: of compassion, but he was motivated by a corruptor a

  Speaker 4: desire to have access to.

  Speaker 3: The treasury, so he would keep stealing.

  Speaker 4: It's amazing how many well meaning activities happen around the

  Speaker 4: body of Christ, but are largely motivated by all kinds

  Speaker 4: of prejudices, all kinds of flesh. And this is why

  Speaker 4: we are immerged in so many religious activities that do
• 11:50
  Speaker 4: not produce the kind of power and spiritual potency that
• 11:55
  Speaker 4: should come from them.

  Speaker 3: The price of in to masy.

  Speaker 4: We must love the Lord more than activities. We must
• 12:06
  Speaker 4: love the Lord more than church. We must love the
• 12:09
  Speaker 4: Lord more than ministry. We must love the Lord more

  Speaker 4: than the desire to be famous, the desire to be great.

  Speaker 4: This is the first key to be mightily used by God.

  Speaker 4: There must be a drive to spend time in worship,

  Speaker 4: to spend time in prayer, to spend time making God

  Speaker 4: the highest priority in your life.

  Speaker 3: The price of intimacy.

  Speaker 4: I made up my mind, as a man of God
• 14:31
  Speaker 4: and as a person that nothing and no one and
• 14:35
  Speaker 4: no activity will ever be able to take the place
• 14:38
  Speaker 4: of God in my life. I love Him sincerely. I

  Speaker 4: love him beyond church. I love him beyond ministry. I

  Speaker 4: will fold ministry a thousand times to preserve my relationship
• 14:49
  Speaker 4: with Him. And this is the secret, one of the secrets.

  Speaker 4: I would say that, by the privilege of God's messy,
• 14:57
  Speaker 4: has been responsible for his hand upon my life life

  Speaker 4: and what He continues to do in and through.

  Speaker 3: Us the price of intimacy.

  Speaker 4: For many of you, the Lord is calling you by

  Speaker 4: this teaching returned to the place of intimacy. We started

  Speaker 4: with hunger and passion, but activities totally awake His presence,

  Speaker 4: activity is totally away. Time we can be busy for God,

  Speaker 4: busy doing great things for God, and yet not be

  Speaker 4: with God. The Bible says and Enoch the seventh man

  Speaker 4: from creation, and Enoch walked with God, and he was

  Speaker 4: not My greatest desire and my greatest testimony at the

  Speaker 4: end of my life is Christ Haaris. Should not be

  Speaker 4: that we build churches, or we did had crusades, or

  Speaker 4: we had all kinds of things as wonderful as these reports,

  Speaker 4: And this testimony is may look. My greatest desire is

  Speaker 4: life that this man loved the Lord all his heart

  Speaker 4: and passionately sought the Lord and help.

  Speaker 4: Is the nobless testimony that I covet intimacy. Intimacy, you

  Speaker 4: must be passionate about God, and you must surrender everything.

  Speaker 3: Everything is the key.

  Speaker 4: that the price for all of God is all of you.

  Speaker 4: Not your offering, not your singing, not your teaching, not

  Speaker 4: your church commitment alone.

  Speaker 4: Wonderful, But the price for all of God is all

  Speaker 4: of you. Your relevance, your ego, your money, your life.

  Speaker 4: That is the price to see all of God. So

  Speaker 4: God loves everybody, but he cannot use everybody. The reason

  Speaker 4: is because not many are willing to pay the price
• 16:54
  Speaker 4: to be intimate with God. The price to be intimate

  Speaker 4: with the Holy Spirit. I have made up my mind

  Speaker 4: as fast as my life. It will become a journey,

  Speaker 4: a pursuit that will never have an end, to seek
• 17:07
  Speaker 4: His face and to love Him, and I continue to

  Speaker 4: enjoy all kinds of supernatural blessings that come from intimacy.

  Speaker 4: So price number one for personal revival is the price
• 17:20
  Speaker 4: for intimacy. Prioritizing God, prioritizing spiritual things, prioritizing the things
• 17:28
  Speaker 4: of the Kingdom developing a hunger. You know, in our world,
• 17:33
  Speaker 4: to their hunger is proof of health. When people are sick,
• 17:39
  Speaker 4: the first thing they lose is appetite. So the moment
• 17:43
  Speaker 4: you no longer hunger, after the things of God, the
• 17:46
  Speaker 4: Word of God, prayer, fellowship, and more importantly, the desire
• 17:53
  Speaker 4: to live by the principles of the Kingdom, that already
• 17:57
  Speaker 4: is a symptom that your spirit man is sick. Because
• 18:02
  Speaker 4: hunger is proof of health. And the Bible says blessed
• 18:05
  Speaker 4: a day that hunger and thirst for they shall be filled.

  Speaker 4: So I pray and believe and join my faith with you,
• 18:14
  Speaker 4: that whilst you are listening to me, that a hunger
• 18:17
  Speaker 4: for God will wellop within you again, a hunger to
• 18:20
  Speaker 4: return back to the place of prayer, a hunger to
• 18:23
  Speaker 4: first acceptably, a hunger to love Jesus. That in the

  Speaker 4: busyness of the activities of our time and our day,

  Speaker 4: running up and down, children, family, life, career, ministry, business,
• 18:36
  Speaker 4: travels now, COVID, you know several things that try to
• 18:40
  Speaker 4: eat up our time and space, we return back to
• 18:43
  Speaker 4: the Lord and say, you still are.

  Speaker 3: My priority, You still are my everything.

  Speaker 4: Every other thing can go away, but you still remain
• 18:53
  Speaker 4: my priority. In Genesis chapter twenty eight, you may just

  Speaker 4: write that for reference. Genesis chapter the Bible talks about

  Speaker 4: a strange man called Jacob that one time he came there,

  Speaker 4: and that Jacob laid down to sleep. He came to

  Speaker 4: a place called Loss, and then he had a dream.

  Speaker 4: He saw a ladder ascending and descending. The angels were

  Speaker 4: on top, moving around, But the Bible does not say

  Speaker 4: they were coming to him.

  Speaker 3: They were moving around and going to those who were

  Speaker 3: doing business with God.

  Speaker 4: And even though he was having this angelic encounters, he

  Speaker 4: find balance and completion outside of God's assistance. And God

  Speaker 4: called that a blessing. That means inadequation. The spirit is

  Speaker 4: a blessing. When you are complete outside of God, there

  Speaker 4: is trouble. When God comes to you, his first part

  Speaker 4: of call is to seek that which makes you adequate
