- 0:41Bill Vegan. Welcome, Welcome, Welcome. I'm you're listening to the Sports
- 0:47Shock Show. I'm the sport Shock Wayne Gandy, Good morning to you out
- 0:51there listening. Len glad to be here with you. Did you witness history
- 0:55this weekend? It was right there in front of you. You had a
- 0:59front rows. You got to see Caitlin Clark go for history again. You
- 1:06got to see the king once again. Is there is was there anything higher
- 1:11in the land than the king? Because that's where Lebron is standing the jester,
- 1:18the jester is always higher than the king. Well, I get that
- 1:21to do, but there is there once you're the king? Is there something
- 1:26higher the uh? In medieval times they believed in like Mount Olympus and all
- 1:34of that. So Okay, the gods were above the kings, but just
- 1:37just barely, just just bear yeah, okay, okay, so so so
- 1:42Lebron is starting to knock on the door of God like I am, and
- 1:46then I ain't going to play god like basketball. Now, maybe maybe a
- 1:49basketball god is what you're saying now, So even the kings of basketball in
- 1:56the future will always pay homage to Lebron, correct, command you, Greg
- 2:02in the building? Is Lebrun knocking on the door of Valhalla? Is he?
- 2:07Is he up there with Odin? Uh? I think he's already.
- 2:13He's already there. I mean he's at the I think he's already kind of
- 2:16at the top of the mountain, or there may be some other people on
- 2:20that mountain, but he's already there. I don't know if if there's another
- 2:24level he can go to, though, No, no, I mean once
- 2:27you once you guard it, then it's just you know, whether you're Zeus
- 2:30or Hades. But I'm saying, but he's knocking on the door, right
- 2:36and Mike, Mike just taking a long time to come outs to the door.
- 2:39That's how I look at it. He here, he's been waiting on
- 2:45it. He knew he was coming man, I remember I called you like
- 2:49three years ago, told you I was gonna be in town. Yeah,
- 2:53in March, in March of twenty twenty four. Remember Mike, you knew
- 2:57I was coming. Now you're trying to like it was that that this March,
- 3:00and now you're working this back this twenty twenty four. Keep yelling at
- 3:04it. I'm on my way. Hold on, I'm coming. Push this
- 3:07out. Put some shoes on. Fad producer. Is he knocking on the
- 3:14door? He's still out in the wilderness there. How is he in the
- 3:17wilderness because you just like you put your analogy Michael's note answered the door,
- 3:23yet just just hate Well he's there is no wilderness around the kingdom. All
- 3:29that was that was in high school. So I was looking for a real
- 3:36answer, trying to do some real reporting. But I won't talk about Lebron's
- 3:39Quest video game with you. I'll get some people who really like to enjoy
- 3:46watching history. A young man from Akron star Fron one years ago. Yes,
- 3:53never letting off the gas. I was watching one report where he's scored
- 4:00or in the last ten thousand points at the same pace he scored his first
- 4:06ten thousand points. But he's twice as old, and it's just something to
- 4:15marvel at that somebody is doing something that's long and still in the league is
- 4:28now do you think that? Do you think that partly perspectives like the band
- 4:33producers are formulated by the fact that the King has somewhat normalized this what you
- 4:44just said. He makes it look like that's just what people do. When
- 4:48we know, from having watched basketball for as long as we have, he's
- 4:53the only person that we're really seeing do what he has ever done. And
- 4:59but he's done it for twenty years. You get used to anything after twenty
- 5:01years. Do you think people have just gotten accustomed? They built up their
- 5:08tolerance for Lebron is just higher. He does so much all the time,
- 5:13so well that it's just cakes go a forty two. Well, I just
- 5:15think those kind of people, that's something wrong with their spirit. It's what
- 5:18they need to go get medicine from for and talk to doctors about, because
- 5:24your spirit, you keep getting on your knees and talking to God, but
- 5:27you keep forgetting the God part of you. When you get off your knees,
- 5:31remove the name, get off of the little Lebron, get off of
- 5:35who you love and you're witnessing things and to embrace to have lived a time
- 5:43of goodness, to watch something that now has said a precedent that will somebody
- 5:53else? Will your kids get to see it in their lifetime? Who will
- 5:57be on the hunt? Caitlyn Carr scoring all those points, the beautiful miss
- 6:08Lynette Woodard sitting in the crowd. Forty years is taken somebody to pass Lynette?
- 6:17To fifty five years for somebody to pass Pete Metrivich records that when they
- 6:24were set, somebody was sitting in the room saying they would never be undone.
- 6:29Where is the appreciation of that? And to not appreciate it based on
- 6:34the person that you like didn't do it, that's not appreciation. Breaking the
- 6:46record is breaking the record. Yeah, I'd like to see an American do
- 6:48it. But if somebody can break flow Joe's record in the one hundred meter
- 6:56correct, then she's running, doesn't matter what count she's from. No,
- 7:00no, no, I want to see somebody. I mean, I would
- 7:04love for it to be I would love for it to be Usa, USA.
- 7:09I love for that to happen. But we celebrate you say boat correct,
- 7:15right? So that's all when you ask the question about those people I
- 7:18have learned to block out and disconnect with even communicating with about subjects like this,
- 7:26because they bring my high down right to imagine that I got to see
- 7:30this from the conception, and I lived long enough to see it to this
- 7:35point of a man who started off averaging twenty five points, and twenty years
- 7:40later, he's still averaging twenty five points. He's not doing it at eight
- 7:45points a game, right like you see some records broadcasts twenty a year in
- 7:51the league. A couple of years ago, Albert Pooholst was chasing I think
- 7:55six chuning home runs or seven hundred, and he was doing it basically didn't
- 7:59last four five years at seventeen home runs a season kind of pace, or
- 8:05or twelve home runs. He was just getting it in a little small increment.
- 8:11This guy is getting it at the same I can't get him same twenty
- 8:16five points. I'm still the lead of my team, I'm saying, and
- 8:24we're gonna get onto some other subjects because right now we're coming off and even
- 8:28in my opinion as a flat show. So I don't know where y'all want
- 8:31to go today with the show, But I'm in an excitement to have watched
- 8:35Lebron James over the weekend. And Caitlyn Clark, who didn't have any taglines.
- 8:41You want to know why she's winning, Why it's a beautiful thing,
- 8:46why everybody is plugged in Caitlyn Clark of Iowa. She wasn't promoting a clothing
- 8:54line, she wasn't dating Justin Bieber, didn't have a calls that she has
- 9:01to wear a T shirt to warm up in or the announcers got to bring
- 9:05up she was just playing basketball and and has created this fresh so I can
- 9:16just turn the TV on and watch. Yes, you don't have to be
- 9:20You ain't gonna be weighed down by nothing, and and there, and and
- 9:22and she has attracted the very small percentage of the sports watching public that still
- 9:31appreciates that the US. The means that there are very few of us that
- 9:37don't need the bails and whistles attached to sports anymore. That's why sports keep
- 9:41force feeding us the bails and whistles. And that's where I think some of
- 9:46this appreciation for these accomplishments gets lost. Is we we need something because you
- 9:52that's part of the meal that you sell me, the drink, the cookie,
- 9:54the fries and the sandwich, But now where's my cookie? I'm getting
- 9:58the yeah record forty five years. But who she dating? And that sport
- 10:03has sort of done that to itself, is they keep on trying to give
- 10:09us a toy in the bag when it used to be just a thrill to
- 10:13have a cheeseburger from this place. And she's just serving you the main court,
- 10:18just the main court. It's on a plate, right, And I
- 10:20think some of you are missing that. That's it's a phenomenon because it invites
- 10:26everybody in because you don't have to worry about her religion, her political party,
- 10:37none of that she brings to her to her and does seemed like she
- 10:41lets them bring it easy and she hasn't brought in whether she four fur coats
- 10:45or not. She ain't rowing no Trump out here to serve you hot and
- 10:50fresh. Commands you greg these forty points and then I'm going to the WNBA.
- 10:56That's all I came to see to say at that already and then I'm
- 10:58gonna go to w NBA. So there's no twist to my uniform. I
- 11:05don't have something something Dan dangling off of my head band. I'm just bringing
- 11:09you the regular Remember remember basketball, I can't remember. I remember remember when
- 11:16you just get on the court and score and pass and and and do something
- 11:20and everybody can watch. Everybody can watch it. I think that's why it
- 11:26exploded. It's it's just came to you as it is. Yeah, so
- 11:31nobody had some kind of I can't watch because of this. I can't watch
- 11:33because of that. It's just Caitlin Clark breaking ankles and shooting three. We'll
- 11:41be back. I'm gonna get these guys excited. Somewhere in here. We'll
- 11:46get some push ups or something. Must have turned the bad producer Mike off,
- 11:50because it's a celebration show. As much as we can we celebrating sports.

- 15:07the Day on the Sports Jock Show's taking it to a completely different level this
- 15:11year where we highlight an appolete that has taken their game to the next level.
- 15:18Woo boo, oom, young man, what's the jumpo? Right?
- 15:26Young man? Whoa whoa boo? This queen is the jump Hope. I've
- 15:35been going for a minute now. Welcome back to this Sport Shock Shower.
- 15:37I'm this Sport Shock Wing Candy. Good morning to you out there and listening.
- 15:41Lamb Big Kenny, command you Greg the bad producer in the building with
- 15:43the sports shock this morning. Excitement in my body. I'm trying to pass
- 15:48a little bit on to my teammates here this morning, so I think to
- 15:52create that. We'll jump over to the bad producer who is really holding all
- 15:58the weight of the carriage. He's just holding us back an anchor that won't
- 16:03let us move forward. So let's jump on something he might want to talk
- 16:07about that it excites him, since Caitlin Clark and Lebron James accomplishments does not.
- 16:15One of your stories to day is Johnny Manziel has decided that he is
- 16:18not going to do any Heisman activities or shows until the Heisman gives back Reggie
- 16:26Bush's Heisman trophy. So give me, give me that, give me that
- 16:33story. They're baptists. Well, but it's just a story that Johnny Manziel.
- 16:38He's been in the news here lately. He was just recently on shellon
- 16:42Sharp's podcast Club a lot of had a lot of interesting things to say in
- 16:48regard to his career and who he was and why how he's fail and why
- 16:52he's fail and we found out a lot of things about him and right now
- 16:56he's just which I mean, he's taking a stance, he said, saying
- 17:00that you know, he feels like that everything that Reggie has done and everything
- 17:03that he's still for, he feels like we should still recognize him as a
- 17:07Heisman Trophy winners, because there you do have some gentlemen that are past Housman
- 17:14winners that Winterson have come along, that have did some things in the past
- 17:18since winning the Heisman, and that even before then. It is questionable.
- 17:22But at this time, I just feel like that he's one of the few
- 17:26that's gonna I think Johnny's probably doing this just to continue to create the buzz
- 17:32that he's got going right now. I don't don't, I don't. I'm
- 17:34hoping that it's sincere but I'm not for sure if it is or not.
- 17:38But I know he's got a little buzz going for him to come out and
- 17:41make a statement say I'm gonn stand behind Reggie Bush. I mean, now,
- 17:45now, let me make sure, since this is one of the stories
- 17:48you wanted to jump on, make sure I got this correct. Johnny Manzel
- 17:52won the Heisman, correct, Reggie Bush won the Heisman. Both of them,
- 18:00in their path to winning the Heisman, broke all the rules about how
- 18:06you were supposed to be in the n C Double A. They've admitted to
- 18:11that, right, Oh yeah, pretty much. And Reggie Bush's case,
- 18:15he got caught. Johnny Manziel did not. He just snitched on hisself.
- 18:23So I'm missing one of you. You got caught doing the commission of a
- 18:30crime. Basically, you committed crimes against what the ncit double A had his
- 18:36rules, and you got caught and then they took back your trophy. So
- 18:40what is the what is the story? You got caught ghosts, That's what
- 18:44we did. But Johnny said he doesn't sit right for him because the morals
- 18:48and values that he can't be on the stage with Reggie Bush. Wait,
- 18:52wait now, and I guess why I'm confused. Is Johnny Manziel, a
- 18:56man who is admittedly broken the rules. Yeah, that didn't get caught,
- 18:59but the deal confess to breaking the rules, is now wanting to take a
- 19:03moral high ground and make people do what is right. It's not that,
- 19:08what was it? Because of the advent of the nil? He tweeted out
- 19:14this was yesterday. He said, the last two Heisman winners made a combined
- 19:18twelve million dollars last year, but Reggie can't get his trophy back. So
- 19:22because of the nil and the money that the guys can make when they're in
- 19:27school, he believes retroactively, Reggie Bush should get his heisman back. But
- 19:36does he know, And maybe he doesn't because he's admittedly did not go to
- 19:41class at Texas A and M, so he might not understand this chotspire.
- 19:51Those rules that he broke were the rules at the time. At the time,
- 19:57that's called life. Yeah, because it's just some people sitting in jail
- 20:02right now, even though that's called life. Because you live long enough to
- 20:07see something change. There is no retroactive. But he's able. You can't
- 20:14go back and give a man and who served twenty years, you can't give
- 20:18him back to twenty years because now you have made marijuana legal. Trust me,
- 20:23I know, so I understand completely what you're saying. Comand everybody's on
- 20:30this little oh well now it's that has nothing to do about the rule.
- 20:33And the rule was the rule because that investigates we need to give you your
- 20:41team go back to look at your years in college. So Reggie Bush broke
- 20:45the rules. Reggie Bush maybe at some point not based on the nil being
- 20:55in place. But if you want to give him back his heisman after a
- 20:59certain amount of time, okay, you could have gave him that, and
- 21:02everybody could have been But obviously Reggie Bush didn't value the heisman, or he
- 21:10wouldn't have risked it. I just don't know how I was listening to something
- 21:15with the Marcus cousins. I don't get how the NCAA became the villain in
- 21:22all these stories. These people are taking all the risk. I don't know
- 21:27what you're gonna become. I said, I pay for the school you Most
- 21:33players don't play. I don't even know if I get on this so much
- 21:37it inferiates me. Ninety percent of the people that give scholarships to don't even
- 21:44play. It's just on the team. We all get there. About eight
- 21:48of us figure out whos gonna be the team, and other people just help
- 21:51us practice. They're on a scholarship. But it all helped everybody. Would
- 21:57I like to go back and now I can legalm to get some money.
- 22:00Sure, but that wasn't the rule then. So I'm gonna sit here in
- 22:03the future, worried about thirty years ago. I don't understand. So Johnny
- 22:11Manziel broke all the rules. He never graduated. He doesn't promote anything positive
- 22:15other than trying to tell his story. I don't see any He doesn't represent
- 22:22any positive that I've seen yet. And I think it keep telling out of
- 22:27redemption story. He ain't but thirty two, how much redemption have you lived?
- 22:30Well, I think it's kind of dangerous that you just gave all of
- 22:34his credentials, You listed his resume, and he won the heisman, which
- 22:38makes people believe that that type of behavior can still be rewarded. So I
- 22:45don't know, I didn't. I don't ever look at the heisman ceremony anyway
- 22:49if you want to know the truth. And I definitely want to look for
- 22:52him to see if Johnny Manziel was there. Like I said, he's doing
- 22:56it for shock value. I don't believe he's sincere with it. As far
- 23:00as you did this. This did this story get you going? Okause the
- 23:06other stuff we were talking about people right now, sixty year old records out.
- 23:12He don't like. Oh I can't. I mean I could be.
- 23:17We'll be back more than a Sports Jos show right after this. Mappy,
- 23:21damn it time ain't nice. I chin not know what songs I came up
- 23:23up shooting nice my little bet. I ain't even right my sister, and
- 23:29I'm going I ain't my cousin it just saving life, John boyl Wayne born
- 23:33of the Sports Jos Show with Wayne Dambidia's coming up next. Attention homeowners,

- 27:33passing Pete Merrivich yesterday and in the way in the process beating the number two
- 27:37team in the country, Ohio State. So it wasn't like I did it
- 27:44against lord competition. I broke the record playing against a better team, at
- 27:49least record wise, higher ranked team maya more inattendance. Miss Lyonnette Woodard in
- 27:57attendance to watch this game yesterday, big game. She's brought excitement. I
- 28:03don't know, Caitlyn. I would have to run the computer through the algorithm
- 28:07to see if coming back is more lucrative than going to the w NBA.
- 28:11I know she announced she's going to w NBA. Maybe maybe now she is
- 28:17seen, has overcome and now it's the solid first round pick. Maybe she
- 28:22thought wherever she was going it was going to take her out of I think
- 28:25Indiana might have the first pick, and that's a good That's what she maybe
- 28:30wants to stay playing for the Fever because she would beat that would be the
- 28:33in the market by Iowa market, that would keep her in the market.
- 28:37I was going to answer, I think there was a little question between whether
- 28:40she would be one and two with Angel Reese in this draft a couple of
- 28:48weeks to go, and now I think she is kind of solidified for the
- 28:52mere number of eyes that come with bringing her in would take Indiana, especially
- 28:59in that area they have the Midwest. Now with the advent of the n
- 29:06i L, would it be considered tampering or some sort of violation if someone
- 29:11in the Midwest had already said, look, Caitlin, I know you tempted
- 29:17to come back to school, but you go to the w n b A
- 29:19and I guarantee you no matter where you go, we'll do a deal and
- 29:25this deal. But if you go where we think you're gonna go, we'll
- 29:27lock down the Midwest with your images and can they do stuff like that?
- 29:33Nil really doesn't stop as long as she hasn't signed with the Indian Okay,
- 29:38so they they Oh so, so her and the company can already getting in
- 29:45place. Yeah, you've seen the commercial shoot and this she pops up.
- 29:49Well, I'm saying that's why we were talking about the halt that one of
- 29:53the judges put on the n i L. Because there don't seem to be
- 29:56any real framework to what you can't do. But you can't now. I
- 30:00mean, it's not a matter of what you can do, it's a matter
- 30:03of, hey, what are the limits here? And I think that that's
- 30:07what they're struggling to catch up. So we know, if Angel Rees was
- 30:11Caitlin Clark, the bad producer would have a ponytail and some lashes this morning.
- 30:15If Lebron James was Alan Iverson or someone like that North Carolina, if
- 30:25somebody went to North Carolina and did what he did, he would be in
- 30:27here with their jersey short set on this morning. It's just happened to be
- 30:33Lebron James, so he thinks the moment is not magical. Lebron James first
- 30:38man in the NBA history to score forty thousand points. I mean, just
- 30:44think three years ago we was wondering could he catch green? And now it's
- 30:48where would he stop with the kind of production? And that's why I said,
- 30:52you have to look at it from a point He's not doing this on
- 30:56a eight point a game average, right, He's doing the same thing he
- 31:00did last year than before and eighteen years before that. He's serving it hot,
- 31:06fresh right off the grill to you. Bad Producer Lo Wayne had a
- 31:11little issue out at one of the games that excites you. At a Laker
- 31:15game Lakers playing wizardsla Wayne said he got in a conversation with some security guards.
- 31:19Already had been on record to having some discourse with the Miami Heat.
- 31:25Seems that Lil Wayne wants to be treated in a way at some of these
- 31:27Lakers games that he's not getting some kind of royal treatment that maybe places aren't
- 31:34bestowing upon him. I'm not for sure exactly what it is. I know
- 31:41that he's back on the scene. I thought he was banned from the NBA
- 31:45because apparently what happened years back when Lebron and the Heat team was together,
- 31:52when he was consistently on the sideline, Well, he was banned by the
- 31:56Miami Heat as a team asked then to ban him for a year. I
- 32:02don't know if it was a continual thing, but I know for a year
- 32:06he was banned out of there. But the NBA hadn't banned them from all
- 32:09arenas. No, I've seen him at different NBA games. But do you
- 32:14know what this confrontation was about. Well, I mean, he's just saying
- 32:17the security is treating him bad. He didn't specific there's no specifics it's about
- 32:22the Lakers organization. When you say security, because you're your own team,
- 32:27I mean security is a total different entity from the actual Lakers. So you
- 32:32use the Clippers, Lakers, everybody that used the facility, so that that
- 32:37the security team is hired out, is hired by whatever crypto. Yeah,
- 32:43but he said he had a problem with the Lakers. It came from when
- 32:47he was on Undisputed last year. He said he felt good about the lakers
- 32:53chances winning title, but we uh, if the Lakers wanted to get championship
- 32:59team and in the future as well, you gotta get rid of a d
- 33:02uh. So basically his comments about Anthony Davis, that's why he feels like
- 33:08he got treated poorly. So that makes since he said that about a d
- 33:15no longer are they giving him the whole escort to the seat. And I'm
- 33:22asking, is there a way is there a metric by which to quantify treated
- 33:27me bad? Like did somebody put him in a choke hold? Did they
- 33:30not let me in while it was raining? Or is it what sports jack
- 33:35can say, you didn't hold my hand while you walk me to my and
- 33:38I quote he got the cold shoulder vibe from the Lakers organization. Well,
- 33:45he probably didn't go into the he didn't get to go into the star studded
- 33:50suite him to go into the floor seat. Oh yeah, that's a bad
- 33:54vibe. I see what he's saying now, that makes sense. So he
- 33:57got he probably didn't get to go into yeah with Trappist right where Stalloan and
- 34:02Trappis and Taylor were. He just got to go where like Spike Lee was.
- 34:10Uh, but that's what the bad. Bad is this story you brought
- 34:15and you're not bringing a lot of excitement with it now, I'm just was
- 34:19it not one of the stories he said he had Johnamanzi, Lil Wayne,
- 34:22and Chris Mortenson. So this is one of your stories. You don't have
- 34:27a lot of information on it, and I got information. I'm telling you
- 34:30that he's up that little. He's upset the fact that, like I said,
- 34:34they did not walking them to the seat, not handheld. But like
- 34:37I said, I'm not looking at it. They're saying that he was got
- 34:40into it with Lakers security. Uh, there's video out there there don't really
- 34:45like he got into it with them. And like I said, I'm at
- 34:46the point, like you've been down this road before when you was in Miami,
- 34:52and if it is true that the Lakers are holding against him because of
- 34:57something he said on Undisputed, that's not fair. And see a lot of
- 35:00what I don't understand is, especially in places like New York, LA,
- 35:06there are levels to celebrity where someone who's sitting on the floor next to Jack
- 35:12Nicholas, you may not know who he is, or Jack Nicholson, you
- 35:15might not know who he is, but Jack Nicholson and everybody else know who
- 35:20he is. And so the Lakers' security have to manage all of those personalities.
- 35:24And it's hard for me to believe that they would look at a little
- 35:28Wayne as significant enough to give a cold shoulder to in a way that people
- 35:34that he would feel his vibe being off. It just seems so. So
- 35:37I have my area where I have my real supporters right ride or die that
- 35:43won't say anything. They would they would skip the question before they condemn.
- 35:49And I have that little area. I let you in the game. Remember,
- 35:52all I have to do is let you in the game. And he
- 35:54said he was asked to be there that night, and then they're gonna treat
- 35:58it in the section where they pay you in that section the pass from the
- 36:02section of regardless of how we do, you don't criticize us. Section.
- 36:07It's Jack Nicholson, there's Goldie harn they sit over there. I don't understand
- 36:12when you, Oh, you don't understand the Lakers. Yeah, you don't
- 36:15get to bash my daughter and then get to come to the private room.
- 36:21You come in, but you're acting like the Lakers are supposed to be what
- 36:27above somebody criticizing him their top player. And then I'll stopped giving you free
- 36:37seats and you want to come in the game, I'll make you pay since
- 36:40you ain't a fan. And Wayne's whole career is built on knowing what beef
- 36:45is about. How you gonna access to them? You're supposed to pull up
- 36:50at your mama house. It's the same reason I tell you on this show,
- 36:52Big Kenny Commanchia, I'll talk to you too, because the bab Doos
- 36:54and me just aren't seen in sync today. Maybe about nine o'clock hour we
- 36:59will be say reason I tell you these people are not Atlanta fans because they
- 37:07don't actually ride. They just whip the Falcons. They don't ride with them.
- 37:16All they see is the flaws. They never see the Beauty Psychiatry one
- 37:23on one says that you have to compliment just as much as you You can't
- 37:29do You can't just criticize a person. And that's and and sports what that's
- 37:32what well, and that again you have to offer you Hey, when somebody
- 37:37looks at the cooks or or does something, you reward them just as much.
- 37:42That gives you the ability. All they do is whip the falcons,
- 37:45but they swear their fans, and I think that's fans the criticize the hat.
- 37:53Well, that's what I'm saying here a cowboy, though, what do
- 38:04you We'll be back more than Sports Jock Show right after this. That's what
- 38:08they do. Try to pull other people in to nice tonight. You can

- 41:37back to this boy, Shock Shun this boy Shock Wayne Canny, Good morning
- 41:40to you bed to be here with you. The bad producer command you,
- 41:44Greg Vig Kenny in the studio with me this morning. If you missed any
- 41:49of this first hour of the show, remember when we go off air at
- 41:52ten. You can hear us on replay on Apple podcasts, Amazon podcasts.
- 41:59These are or audible Spotify, iHeart Radio. We were celebrating Lebron James,
- 42:07the first man in the NBA to go over forty thousand points. He's putting
- 42:13a lot of distance between him and Kareem Abdul Jabbar. Still looking like he
- 42:20could have a solid year next year as well, which would fall into year
- 42:25number twenty two, So still having a little window of time and really could
- 42:32play two three more years if you ever let hisself like come off the bench.
- 42:37Yeah, if he ever just decided to play that role where you just
- 42:39need a hard fifteen points and spot check me. Looks like he could do
- 42:45a lot of damage in that way. Is accepting a role like that tarnishing
- 42:49his legacy? I mean again, twenty five points a game for life.
- 42:57I've been giving you twenty five and now I'm finn give you eighteen coming off
- 43:00the bench. Do you think his legend could bear that weight. Yes,
- 43:08at a certain point you have to realize you've already etched your whatever it is
- 43:15in stone. Sometimes you're waiting for the downfall. But if I went up
- 43:21so far, when I fall, you know, if I shoot for the
- 43:23stars and end up in the clouds, I'm still up right. And I'm
- 43:28saying, but that might not happen though coming off the bench. No,
- 43:32no, no, no, no no no, I'm not saying he would.
- 43:36I'm saying he's still lined up to where he could play a year or
- 43:43two off the bench. He could take this farther than even we are thinking,
- 43:50right, because we're only thinking starter, right. But nobody's going to
- 43:54turn him down to come off the bench. Chris Paul coming off the bench
- 43:59for the Golden State Warriors does not diminish Chris Paul. That's Chris Paul.
- 44:06He played long enough that that's that's what happens when you get forty that forty
- 44:13year old starting Nolan Ryan now when they can give you three innings, so
- 44:16he might be a middle reliever or a closer. Some guys ended up that's
- 44:21all they by the end. They when they started, they was this and
- 44:23then hey, I'm gonna bring you in in the eighth, I got it,
- 44:28you got it tonight from the eighth. From that was what Nolan Ryan
- 44:34was fifty though it's forty. He could still well, he was still throwing
- 44:37one hundred well, but it was still the same amount of years play Lebron's
- 44:44on year twenty one, Nolan would have been on whatever he was at that
- 44:47time. So I'm saying it doesn't remove me from seeing anyone. It's like,
- 44:55nobody really remembers Michael Jordan in the Wizard's uniform, but I remember him
- 45:01is in a Bulls uniform. But what I do remember about that time when
- 45:06he was in a Wizard's uniform when he was playing baseball. Nobody remembers him
- 45:10in those uniforms, but we do remember the question being asked, why this?
- 45:15Why not just step away? Mike, you've already because if you're never
- 45:22in it, then you don't realize it's a lifeline. The most depressing and
- 45:28heartbreaking and the thing that the athlete is telling you at the end is where
- 45:32do I go to do the thing I know how to do. Most you
- 45:37can tell jokes till you are dead dead. They don't have an age limit,
- 45:43which and you can tell them at all levels. Maybe you're not at
- 45:47Madison Square Guarden anymore, right, but there's somewhere for you to tell jokes
- 45:52and get that side of you out well for a football players player, you
- 45:58know, especially a football there there's no there's no football leagues. When you
- 46:04get fifty, you can join some you know, lifetime fitness to play basketball,
- 46:09I guess, but it's a good time. I would tell Lebron to
- 46:15take it and enjoy. I would take my farewell tour off the bench,
- 46:22no pressure, just going around, shaking hands. You you all up in
- 46:25the stands when they go to put you in, Hey put Lebron in?
- 46:29What? Oh? Hold on, hey, you gotta come out of the
- 46:30box. He been up there commentating and talking to people, ya, covering
- 46:35up like a box, still trying to all kind of stuff. And he
- 46:38just come running down a ton. I was taking the nap coach, my
- 46:42bad. I'm hearing down. So I don't I don't think, you know,
- 46:45And I think at the level we see him this year, he definitely
- 46:47looked like he could give that to you next year. I can't speak after
- 46:52the year after that, but he does look like he could play two three
- 46:57more years but over forty thousand points. I looked at the numbers and even
- 47:02I think KD is number nine now, and he's steal like twelve thousand points
- 47:12behind Lebron or something to even catch him. No, yet, no active
- 47:15player has more than twenty eight thousand. Yeah, and that's what I'm saying.
- 47:22KD is that person, right, so he needs twelve thousand points.
- 47:25And always I just when I see that, I'm always laughing because anytime I've
- 47:30ever got in conversation with people like the Bad Producer, they would swear that
- 47:34Lebron is not a score, But then I would tell him, then what
- 47:38is he? How are you the all time the only man with forty thousand
- 47:45points? But you're not a score and sports, then what are you?
- 47:49It's interesting. It's interesting that there are times that when you were talking about
- 47:54psychologically, what how the makeup of things going and what the science was behind
- 48:01how things ought to operate in today's science, you using logic and statistics and
- 48:10pointing out how phenomenal a Lebron is and saying that wipe away all that because
- 48:15he ain't dating that person and all of that it don't matter. Makes you
- 48:20the anomaly. People don't want to hear that. They be so like,
- 48:22oh man, you sound so old, because the everybody wants to tear him
- 48:29down. Now that I think some people are disappointed that Lebron hadn't done anything
- 48:34infamous in all of this time. They mad because Lebron ain't tried to kick
- 48:38his mother in law's door in, he ain't got a duy, he ain't
- 48:43been caught choking nobody in an elevator. Some people really want to see this
- 48:49man fall and all he's doing is going up, and the society we live
- 48:52in craze drama. We'll be back more than a sports jock show right after
- 48:57this was a model head and around or more dollars than puzzles me and by

- 52:02Welcome back to this mor Shock Show. I'm this horn Shock Wayne Kenny good
- 52:06money tell you once again Here Big Kenny COMMANDI Greg Bad Producer. We're all
- 52:10in the building. We've been talking a lot about our man, the King
- 52:15Lebron James over forty thousand point. What a moment in history. The closest
- 52:20guy command you, Greg looked up was Kevin Durant is about twelve thousand points
- 52:27behind. James Harden is around fifteen thousand points. The Great Steph Curry,
- 52:34who everybody is deemed to be a score and a blessing from the heavens for
- 52:40shooting, he's seventeen thousand points behind the King right right, So or is
- 52:52seventeen thousand yes, okay, wow, So that's how far Lebron is.
- 52:59That's consistent see for his twenty one years. So you haters out there,
- 53:04just get over it. Some things are what they are, they said,
- 53:07the boy from Akron was coming, and Sports Illustrated was right. Caitlyn Clark.
- 53:12As soon as she hit the backskit yesterday, commentators went into talking about
- 53:16the goat. Is it Cheryl Miller? Is it? Diana to ROSSI?
- 53:23What it is is Caitlyn Clark just did something that nobody else has done,
- 53:30and enjoy that moment. Whoever you think your goat is, is your goat.
- 53:37Don't miss the moment. Trying to quantify goats. Remove that. That's
- 53:45a cloud over your head. You do not what list dore you on?
- 53:49What argument are you? What did you do with your life? Do your
- 53:53name come up in a conversation of who's something people love? How these come?
- 54:00Say? What list are you on? And see who debates your achievements?
- 54:05What what have you done to be sitting there? It seems like more
- 54:09people who have not done something love to debate this these kind of things.
- 54:15Caitlyn Clark stayed around college four years. She's an offensive weapon, she has
- 54:23been good, and she moved the game a little forward. We all have
- 54:31Magic. Johnson is my favorite basketball player, so I guess that would make
- 54:37him my goat. But if you asked me, was Michael Jordan a little
- 54:39better from how you would rate it? I would tell you yes. But
- 54:43I would tell you also, Lebron is just a little tweat, not too
- 54:46much. We're talking about fine hairs. It's fine hairs. But I'm not
- 54:52gonna miss out of the greatness of what somebody is achieving based on trying to
- 54:59make my person. If your mama cake tastes better than mine, were serving
- 55:05your mama, kate, my mama got to get over you. That's who
- 55:08I am. But a lot of y'all would go ahead on it. Serve
- 55:13your mom so she can feel good, No, serve me the best I
- 55:16thought we was going for the best right right and supports what list do y'all
- 55:20are? And see, that's what I'm saying when you said that we're witnessing
- 55:23a moment and people want to have those debates, and they just can't enjoy
- 55:28the moment. For the majority of people, that is what that moment is
- 55:31attached to. For them, the debate. They feel like the list that
- 55:36they top is I can prove that the guy I love more is better than
- 55:42your guy. And then they go to give you all these statistics that they
- 55:45hear on the TV and then the barbershop and all of those things. And
- 55:49that's what I'm saying. The love for accomplishment died a long time ago.
- 55:54The love for hard work and a mindset that that instills discipline in you.
- 56:02Nobody wants to enjoy that. But I can only compare something of people that
- 56:07could compete. Yeah, I cannot compare who's the greatest if they couldn't compete
- 56:13against each other, there's no way to put that. How do you quantify
- 56:17that? Caitlin Clark is young enough to be Cheryl Miller's granddaughter. Cheryl Miller's
- 56:24sixty two years old. Kaitlyn Clark is twenty two. They didn't even Cheryl
- 56:32Miller probably old than Kaitlin Clark's parents. It's my whole thing, like it's
- 56:37possible. Where is it that it was just a beautiful moment in which it
- 56:44was and records are broken because the person that sets records is no longer in
- 56:49control. They didn't know they needed to go one more lap. They were
- 56:52just trying to break what the record was at the moment. That's my achievement.
- 56:58Like people will have that same have that same perspective as if like,
- 57:01yeah, you don't have any control over it either. When the record is
- 57:06you know, close to being broken and gets broken, they I think people
- 57:09I think that's kind of part of the reaction as well. Well. We
- 57:13talk about how Caitlyn, which is a great thing she did that dinner thing,
- 57:17she's scoring record and were talking about moving the needle. When LSU played
- 57:23South Carolina recently, average seat was going to to three thousand dollars. Caitlin
- 57:30the last two games where she was breaking a record, every seat around two
- 57:35hundred and fifty dollars. Got a chance for usc LSU play again this weekend
- 57:39in the SEC Championship. They're already talking about if that happens, the seats
- 57:45are gonna be two to three thousand dollars again to see that girl's game,
- 57:47that young lady's basketball game. So when we look at things, I'm just
- 57:52looking at it like if we're gonna move the needles, saying they moving the
- 57:54Needle's that's moving on that. Also, it's like the crowd the seats,
- 58:00I mean, no one, I mean be that game. People want to
- 58:04see the l s U in it. I don't understand what the pricing of
- 58:07the seats had to do in any of that story, but I'm just so
- 58:12I know the game. So I'm talking about moving the needle. We're talking
- 58:15about she's made her announcement, she's going to w NBA. She may be
- 58:17the number one draft choice. May make people to look at it what I'm
- 58:21looking at And I'm saying if LSU and USC who has their seats are if
- 58:29she is that you're trying to say, on what does the types of the
- 58:31seat have to do with that the arena is booked? No, I'm saying
- 58:36that these are resold These are people are paying over ticket price, and you're
- 58:40trying to say Caitlyn's not as high the ticket because they won't pay us higher.
- 58:45They're not that that is the most idiotic thing he might have said in
- 58:47twelve years of being on air. I was able to translate, though I'm
- 58:52not I'm not saying I said. I'm glad I was able to translate,
- 58:54because I'm just looking. That doesn't move the needle because more people will buy
- 59:00more expensive stuff. No, No, Walmart's Vale more stuff than Louis Bauton.
- 59:06What I'm saying is that the restale do they not? Yeah? Oh
- 59:13every day? Oh okay, we'll be back more on sports Jock Show never
- 59:17went to a twenty four hour in Louis Vaton, braveries don't working. We
- 59:22want you working. I turned on my cup bottle coup opa VERSI. I'm
- 59:24tired of these groups. I'm going that nurses and doctors in Dennis you started,
- 59:28If it don't go Awayne Born of the Sports Josh Hill with Wayne Gambias
- 59:34coming up next. Why are interschoolastic sports called the last classroom of the day
- 59:38because they teach students important life lessons like teamwork, accountability, and perseverance.
- 59:44School sports are so much more than a game. They're about developing the whole
- 59:47person. That's why They're an essential part of every student's education. Encourage your
- 59:53student to participate in the last classroom of the day. Interscholastic sports in Georgia.
- 59:59This message presented by the GHSA and the Georgia Athletic Directors Association. Hello,
- 1:00:07man, where are you? I thought you were coming. I can't
- 1:00:09I'm in bed with the flu the flu. Whoa whoa whoa grand us about

- 1:00:29get flu fomo. Learn more at get myflu shot dot org. Metew by
- 1:00:32the A, M, A, CDC, NBA Council. Is enough,
- 1:00:40I have h so serious, sup, and we hold the world ransom for
- 1:00:47excuse me while I whip this ouse shore broadcasting live and it led her to
- 1:00:53a chase with this this is the sports shot shit with Wayne Dandy? Do
- 1:01:00b so far comes to mind? Is it just I'm doing? Yeah,
- 1:01:15I'm gonna go on the way. You mad? Hell me welcome back to
- 1:01:22this one shop shop. I'm this one shock way. Ain't get a good
- 1:01:24morning to you out there listening land I'm here. My heart rate is up.
- 1:01:30I can't tell whether it's the five hour energy or the bad producer is
- 1:01:32about to push me to make my daughter sad. But I'm trying to get
- 1:01:39through the show. Spotify, Audible, Deezer, iHeartRadio, Apple podcasts,
- 1:01:47Amazon podcasts are all the outlets you can go to UH and catch the replay
- 1:01:52of the show we left talking about Caitlyn Clark. UH, the bad producer
- 1:01:57started bringing in racism once again, talking about ticket prices between University of South
- 1:02:02Carolina and LSU and how that moves the needle versus Caitlyn Clark both arenas or
- 1:02:09sold out. What you get, bad producer, for a man that is
- 1:02:15so knowledgeable and always around sports you're a referee, is the people in the
- 1:02:20Iowa Ohio state type area. Those people are going to go to the game.
- 1:02:28So the two hundred dollars ticket they bought never hit the market for resale.
- 1:02:36They call them fans. See something happens into in Atlanta and the Lakers
- 1:02:42come play the Hawks, and the people who call themselves. Hawk fans sell
- 1:02:49their tickets to Laker fans and take the upcharge. Just a couple of weeks
- 1:02:58ago, when I went to the Auburn game, I came back and I
- 1:03:00applauded my Auburn fans for not letting the Kentucky fans who I know travel buy
- 1:03:07they tickets and they get you the tickets just so they can wear a Kentucky
- 1:03:12shirt. To the reasoning L s U. That means those people who have
- 1:03:16season tickets usually down in that area or have the first ability to get the
- 1:03:21tickets. Remember this college are selling those tickets. That's how you get it.
- 1:03:30Oh yeah, I can get a payday comments. I got to have
- 1:03:38done that before. Commntion, Are you raising your hand to admit confession?
- 1:03:43You want to confess? Confess? There's something I wanted to bring up to
- 1:03:47add to you to your point as far as it's moving the needle. Conversation
- 1:03:53on ABC, the Big Ten Network, Fox Sports, f S one,
- 1:03:59NBC, and Peacock their most watched basketball games of all time. The most
- 1:04:05watched women's college basketball games all featured Caitlyn Clark. So how does that that
- 1:04:13kind of and wait and why you're putting the together they put they put Caitlyn
- 1:04:17Clark on Peacock. Yeah, and why you and why you're like, hold
- 1:04:21on, That's what I'm saying. Nobody even knows that exists, really,
- 1:04:25and she's the number one thing on there, and to while you're compiling all
- 1:04:28of those statistics, or I would like to add. One of our listeners,
- 1:04:30Eric Badget, alerted us and asked, did he just call him an
- 1:04:35idiot on air? Period? No, I'm sorry, question Mark, did
- 1:04:43he just call him an idiot on air? So so people are paying attention
- 1:04:45is what I wanted. People are listening to the state. People are listening
- 1:04:51closely to what's going on here. He's state trooper, which means I might
- 1:04:55be getting pulled over speak going to state. True for last week, we
- 1:05:00were talking about the ability to shoot someone in your home, and one of
- 1:05:06my great friends say he was listening in he told me to come back educate
- 1:05:12you gentlemen and myself that in those cases you can't just shoot the person.
- 1:05:18So if you come in your house and the person is eating food in your
- 1:05:21refrigerator, you can't just shoot them. You have to go. You have
- 1:05:28to ask them to leave, or feel like they have a weapon. Okay,
- 1:05:34so thank you for helping me put the holes in my story. Fill
- 1:05:39him up? You know what I'm saying, thank you for helping me feel
- 1:05:42the holes in my story because I'm still kind of all know what you doing.
- 1:05:45I ain't even asking you a refrigerator eating something. If you came with
- 1:05:49somebody, I know, too bad we didn't get introduce first. You're trying
- 1:05:53to help us from not going to jail, because you can't just like actually
- 1:05:59shoot without like giving that person unless you thought the person see your weapon,
- 1:06:04or you thought you gave the person a chance to lead. But what I'm
- 1:06:09saying is and the fact that they eaten your last two spare ribs that you
- 1:06:14had saved for today ain't grounds enough Like hey them Korean spare ribs. And
- 1:06:19you can't just be in your bed, come downstairs, see somebody and shoot
- 1:06:24them unless you feel like they were threatening you them. You have to feel
- 1:06:30like they were threatening you or saw something in their hands. Man, what
- 1:06:32are you doing naked pow Oh? I felt threatened? Well, that's what
- 1:06:38I'm just helping you. I'm here to hell. It's like I'm trying to
- 1:06:43help the bad producer realize that what he's trying to his theory does not work
- 1:06:49in all cases. He's thinking the price, oh that moves, No,
- 1:06:55that's just demand. But ticket sales that get driven up that way, are
- 1:07:00people willing to sell? Well, the Iowa fan is not selling the moment
- 1:07:05of them seeing Caitlin Clark is bigger than the prophet and what I want to
- 1:07:11he's selling. Now now that you know she does, move the needle,
- 1:07:15what is your perspective? Now, move the needle. That's fine, I
- 1:07:19mean it was the highest watch. I'm gonna have to look at the stats.
- 1:07:21I'm must because he don't believe you. He said he gonna get the
- 1:07:27status that you just read him because he doesn't believe you. It came from
- 1:07:31me. That's why. Well believe me, you big Kenny. Don't just
- 1:07:34go downstairs shooting the person. Believe you, boy, that listen. First
- 1:07:40of all, I would like he might. I'm just saying bad because he
- 1:07:43don't want to believe nothing. That that takes away from him being the smartest
- 1:07:48person in the room. Right, I come to a table discussion, right,
- 1:07:53I literally talk only to learn. Sometimes it comes off like I'm being
- 1:07:59defiant. I'm just trying to get you to stand your ground enough to help
- 1:08:03me change my mind. But you can't change my mind with frivolous little emotional
- 1:08:12reasons. Emotional reasons won't change my mind, but you can factually get me
- 1:08:16to move off of what I'm saying. That's how you learn, and that's
- 1:08:20how you grow, and that's how I like to have conversation. That's why
- 1:08:23I don't do a lot of barbershop conversation because they aren't adding anything but emotional
- 1:08:30view and they think that talking louder makes them right. So I understood what
- 1:08:36you were saying. I knew that information and say, I know ticket sales
- 1:08:42him trying to use LSU? Who in South Carolina? Which both programs.
- 1:08:48Nobody said on this show that those programs hadn't moved the needle forward? Did
- 1:08:54we? Did we criticize those programs? I know the me part of we
- 1:09:00it biomission, not not talking about we talk about not even in my spirit.
- 1:09:05I watched the South Carolina game and the LSU game and Iowa game,
- 1:09:12and I did I did say while watching so South Carolina came on it at
- 1:09:15uh uh noon, I did say South and Iowa came on at one.
- 1:09:19I was able to catch a little bit of both of them, so I
- 1:09:23don't understand. I enjoyed watching both. So I don't know what. When
- 1:09:28I watch South Carolina, I do say the coach all to put on South
- 1:09:30Carolina stuff, And yesterday she did, you know, And I was thinking,
- 1:09:33that's what I wanted to. Yeah, that's what I'm talking about.
- 1:09:35Done, that's what South Carolina sell. Your products sell South Carolina. Remember
- 1:09:42I wasn't just hating on I was selling, Hey, make a D Daily.
- 1:09:45I like me a D daily hoodie. Yeah, I think I wouldn't
- 1:09:49send me one on down there and think I won't have it on some kind
- 1:09:54of DS with South Carolina our rocket. Now, I might take the to
- 1:10:00South Carolina off, but I would rop me a don stay hoodie. Can't
- 1:10:03have one without the other. But she had on a little card again with
- 1:10:06South I was thinking, yeah, that's what I'm talking about. Promote your
- 1:10:11program, bleed it. Why why put Gucci out there? Why put these
- 1:10:15other places out there? They probably didn't want to do a sponsorship, so
- 1:10:19she stopped. But bad nobody can criticize them. You don't have to put
- 1:10:26one thing down to prove your point. And us saying Caitlyn Clark moved the
- 1:10:30needle forward was not doesn't mean that that puts only one person in the needle
- 1:10:35forward at once, right, Because I do remember a couple of seasons ago
- 1:10:41we were talking about the disparity in the support and the coverage of girls basketball
- 1:10:48as it is compared to men's basketball. Remember they had the here we are
- 1:10:53at the Final four, and this is our workout room. That was some
- 1:10:57free weights, and then they showed the guys had a four gym assembled and
- 1:11:00all of that. So now here we are and that wasn't a long time
- 1:11:03ago, That wasn't no decades ago, that was just a few years ago.
- 1:11:08And now here we are with the number one games on all of those
- 1:11:12platforms, even though once people don't really know about is Caitlin Clark. And
- 1:11:16so do you think the WNBA be able to make a change in what they're
- 1:11:20doing? Is far as scheduling now that some of their exexa because a lot
- 1:11:25of times we've talked about how they're scheduling has been a lot of their problems
- 1:11:30scheduling. Also, the thing that you forget about college is that college fans
- 1:11:35are already there. You don't have. The WMA is still trying to create
- 1:11:42a fan base. They're never The college women's game still is something that I
- 1:11:48enjoy, but those fan bases already there. They're trying to get that fan
- 1:11:56base too, And that's why we've talked about with Indiana could help them because
- 1:12:00of the proximity. You almost want to send the young ladies that play in
- 1:12:06a certain area to that team. Right. If you could send all the
- 1:12:10Connecticut players to the Connecticut Sons, right then you would grab those people will
- 1:12:16easily migrate. But you send them a player from Tennessee up there, well
- 1:12:23that's not who they are used to hearing. But if you put all the
- 1:12:27if all the Yukon players went and play for the Yukon's son, they would
- 1:12:30draw bigger draw. So uh, but Caitlyn Clark doing big things. Bad
- 1:12:34producers still finding a way to find racism and things that really have nothing to
- 1:12:40do with race. That's consistency, though, what you are consistent like Lebron.
- 1:12:45We'll be back with water Sports Shop show right after this. So I
- 1:12:49ain't gonna never tell you can find a baby won't leaves you wrong. Brian
- 1:12:53ain't gonna being was trying to show me the right way to go out was
- 1:12:57so rebellious. Whatever they ain't doing on Bodern, I mean bro Don't go
- 1:13:01away, or of the Sports Josh Show with Wayne Dandie's coming up next.
- 1:13:09Have you noticed bad behavior has become normalized at interscholastic athletic events. Some fan
- 1:13:14seem angry, they lack civility toward one another. Some even get aggressive and
- 1:13:19unruly. Time out. What is going on? This has to stop.
- 1:13:27Let's not forget school sports aren't just about winning, and they're definitely not an
- 1:13:31excuse to take your frustrations out on the official or the opponent. They're about
- 1:13:35teaching lessons like perseverance, respect, and empathy so students can learn and grow
- 1:13:42as people, not just as players. We all have a role to play
- 1:13:46in setting a good example for our students and teaching them these important values.
- 1:13:51So fans, it's time to step up your game and behave positively at interscholastic
- 1:13:57athletic events in Georgia. This message for Senate by the GHSA and the Georgia
- 1:14:01Athletic Directors Association. After my wife died, I felt like I lost everything,
- 1:14:10including my love of fishing. But one day my granddaughter called and I
- 1:14:15realized I still had a lot to look forward to. I got referred to
- 1:14:18a psychiatrist who explained depression can happen to anyone. Getting help doesn't make me
- 1:14:24weak, it makes me stronger. I just wish it'd made me better at
- 1:14:27fishing. Mental health care is working for diego see what it can do for

- 1:14:38And now back to the sports job waynety go go goat, goat,
- 1:14:46goat, go show this sugar. We're gonna it's suver. We won't sit
- 1:14:54potage, it's sub and you know we don't give up. What about this?
- 1:15:00What shock shu up? This swore shock wing came to Good morning to
- 1:15:03you out there listening land. Sorry about that. If we dropped off there
- 1:15:08a little power outage in the area. Probably just one of these trees fell
- 1:15:14where we are located. All trees are always falling U and you have those
- 1:15:18little quick momentary outages in the area. Big Kenny Comanchi, Greg bat producer
- 1:15:26in the building, birthdays here today and yesterday. Jason Tatum in the Boston
- 1:15:31Celtics who blew out the Golden State Warriors yesterday in a game that was over
- 1:15:39at halftime. Bad producer, let your fingers off the phone. Just give
- 1:15:43me five minutes, y'all. Just give me five minutes. Just give me
- 1:15:47five minutes. Just me and you for five minutes. Can you do that?
- 1:15:54Okay? Okay, don't write nothing down, put your peeing down.
- 1:15:57Just just me and you right there. Thank you, Sir. Jason Tatum
- 1:16:00twenty six, Julie Bowling the actress, Martin Family fifty four, Jessica Biel
- 1:16:06forty two, Herschel Walker sixty two, Santonio Holmes stillers and from the JTS
- 1:16:14Jets Jets Jet forty years old. Michael Thomas Famous Saint Receiver thirty one,
- 1:16:19Jackie Joiner Kersey sixty two, Draymond Green thirty four. Who else do we
- 1:16:26have here? Kevin Johnson point guard for the Sons, is fifty eight.
- 1:16:30Kay Michelle is forty two years of age. The reboot of Necket Gun Movies
- 1:16:38is on its way. Comanchie Greg says, Liam who you say is playing
- 1:16:42the star character? Liam Neeson, Liam Nisse from taking from Taking, that's
- 1:16:47range. He's what like seventy now? Liam Needson somewhere up there closet of
- 1:16:53the seventy that's kind of close to Leslie Nielsen too. Do you think that
- 1:16:57that's what they were trying to do or it's James. Yeah, it's just
- 1:17:00so close. They about the same, ay, same close name. And
- 1:17:03like I said, Liam Neeson, that's showing some range because the last few
- 1:17:08movies he's done were so serious and dark, and now Naked Gun is is
- 1:17:14sad. Yeah, it's it's downright spoof SAT type. So I'd like to
- 1:17:18see how he pulls that off. That's a reboot that is coming. A
- 1:17:24man has went on record to have eaten thirty four thousand Big Max. Did
- 1:17:32y'all see that? Wait? Man? How much time? Yeah? How
- 1:17:39old man? In his life he's had thirty four thousand Big Max. He
- 1:17:44said, at one point in his life he used to eat about eight a
- 1:17:46day and now he limits itself to two, one for lunch, one for
- 1:17:54dinner. The Big Mac. It's what now, this is the thing,
- 1:18:00I think. But he also says people were surprised he's still a lot.
- 1:18:03I'm sure because that's what I was going to say. Are we sure these
- 1:18:09are somewhat accurate numbers? Because we've seen documentaries about people eating large quantities,
- 1:18:17and he still does. Former President forty five President Trump, isn't he a
- 1:18:21McDonald's Big Mac guy. He's constantly at McDonald's. So what I'm saying the
- 1:18:26number how many sports? Thirty eight thou thirty four thousand estimate he's in the
- 1:18:30Guinness World Book of Records. Okay, I knew he had to be counting
- 1:18:34for Rest. So far in his life he's been bestowed that he's eating thirty
- 1:18:41four thousand, Big Max and he still has a taste. But he still
- 1:18:45hasn't And that was the thing that stood out to me, has a taste
- 1:18:48to eat it that frequently. To tell you that you've eaten something the same
- 1:18:53thing twice a day every day and still can have a taste for it is
- 1:18:59a phenomenal that I want to be in the kids in myself. Yeah,
- 1:19:00yeah, because our palette typically after like two days of eating the same things
- 1:19:04starts. I'm saying, you be married for like nine years and then you
- 1:19:09be like I need you know. I'm saying that fresh as it used to
- 1:19:14be, anything you think possible for any of you guys, you could eat
- 1:19:16like that. Now, I don't know if that frequently. I know something
- 1:19:23that I've loved a long time. I still eating a lot of things.
- 1:19:27Is there anything you eat every day? I'm not the same thing or not
- 1:19:32the same way. Like bread. I probably have bread every day. But
- 1:19:36something that you could I probably could eat Chick fil A. If I had
- 1:19:40they say, hey, you can get Chick fil A every day all day,

- 1:22:32Lounge. You have been given full access to the player's lounge on the Sports
- 1:22:40Jack Show with Wayne Gandy, Queen Business. Welcome back to his bote hed.
- 1:23:00This what shuck Wayne Candy, good morning. Tell you out there listening.
- 1:23:03Man Jerry Jones has been ordered to take a DNA test in his paternity
- 1:23:11case. This is that same case where the young lady basically just wants Jerry
- 1:23:18Jones to recognize and that he is her father. Young lady is twenty seven
- 1:23:28years old. Her case is connected to the sensibility that Jerry and the young
- 1:23:36lady's mom did not have the right to basically sign away the waiver of Jerry
- 1:23:45having to take legal responsibility. Story goes that Jerry and this young lady's mom
- 1:23:58basically made an agreement that he would give her a certain amount of money if
- 1:24:01she could keep the kid, but he wouldn't have any kind of legal right
- 1:24:05name wouldn't be on any document the young lady has found out. She keeps
- 1:24:10taking I think this is about the fourth fifth times she's taking Jerry to court
- 1:24:14on trying to get him to acknowledge that she is his daughter. Quicknaw.
- 1:24:21So, to me, that's a slippery slope because most decisions that are made
- 1:24:36about either an unborn or an infant child are left up to either the remaining
- 1:24:43parent the mother that's given birth to the child and the father's absence, or
- 1:24:45the parents agree to give them up for adoption, or in this case,
- 1:24:49which is not a brand new case, of I relinquish all of my parental
- 1:24:54rights, I relinquish any authority to ask for visitation or anything with the children.
- 1:25:00That is something that is a legal, established process. And she's saying
- 1:25:06she doesn't agree with that. We just talked about. That wasn't the law
- 1:25:12then. So back then when they made that agreement that was binding between the
- 1:25:18two of them, and now she's coming along in a new time with new
- 1:25:23sensibilities trying to say that that has to be undone and I don't think that
- 1:25:27that's Well, she's saying that that was a deal between you and my mother
- 1:25:33that you two would hold on to the secret my mother signed an NDA for
- 1:25:41her, not for me. Well, no, and see that's what I'm
- 1:25:45saying. I understand that part. But there are some people that say,
- 1:25:49no, she and I said that it was cool. I would help her
- 1:25:54with the baby when I could. But the state says, no, you
- 1:25:57pay child support because that is is the agreement that you and her maid.
- 1:26:02And now you're saying that that's an invalid agreement. I can't make it agreement.
- 1:26:08No, I'm not saying. I'm not saying that you and mom's agreement
- 1:26:12was not valid for you two. That just doesn't hold me too. What
- 1:26:20you signed. That just says she can't talk about it well at the time
- 1:26:27because she was ain't of age. And when all that happens when the sign
- 1:26:32you think that's possibly why the court keep kicking it out because of that.
- 1:26:36Well, this court is saying that Jerry hasn't tated the paternity test. Now,
- 1:26:42wow wow wow, because there seems to be some sort of applied acknowledgment
- 1:26:47the fact that I gave your mother some money and told her, don't bother
- 1:26:51me with this, So she's saying that she doesn't. And then once again
- 1:26:54we're back to she just wants him to acknowledge that he's her father and to
- 1:26:59me anything, Yeah, you don't want anything else, Well, if you
- 1:27:02don't want anything else, you already know that he's your father. Keep it
- 1:27:06moving if you don't want anything, like some officials. But then that's once
- 1:27:14again like I'm like Kennedy the slippery slope. Then later on down the road
- 1:27:16and once Jerry passed away, and she will sign anything away. This is
- 1:27:24purely that I am Jerry Jones's child. Okay, she says she would sign
- 1:27:30anything of any kind of monetary gain. She just wants it to be legally
- 1:27:36acknowledged. Right now, it is not legally acknowledged who my father is.
- 1:27:43So the monetary gain that her mother does that also, I'm wondering if that
- 1:27:47because because of what her mother signed, does that holds her bound by legal
- 1:27:54legalities and legal contracts as far as monetary gains already. H That's that's why
- 1:28:00I'm just looking at that. I wasn't born. My mother made that money,
- 1:28:04not me, but you, and and and now from the perspective that
- 1:28:10all I want you to do is legitimize me as a human being. Say
- 1:28:15that. Give me the opportunity to say, I know who my mother and
- 1:28:18father are, if that's all you want. I don't understand if Jerry Jones
- 1:28:23knows in fact that he is, because the issues like this confused me.
- 1:28:27I think it's made up when people say I've never met my father, I've
- 1:28:30never I don't know my I know my mama liked that to me. That
- 1:28:34seems there are certificates with only the mother's name on it. I know.
- 1:28:40And that's what I'm saying. And she's right, and that's what and some
- 1:28:45people want that. And if Jerry Jones could give her that and he just
- 1:28:48doesn't want to, those things confuse me. Why would you not want to
- 1:28:53claim your child under any circumstances. This child belongs to you. So I've
- 1:28:57never understood those And that's that's that's fine, That's what I'm saying. If
- 1:29:01he already, but I'm saying that he we already know and she knows,
- 1:29:05so this thing would going to the court what what more or or or or
- 1:29:11what is because right now she's in allegedly he's alleged. Okay, I don't
- 1:29:18know, then I don't want so so so then next then after that and
- 1:29:23we do that, then next thing she wants to have the relationship with her
- 1:29:25brothers. Say well, now, but those things would come natural if the
- 1:29:30brothers, then it would be on the brothers view of life than what their
- 1:29:35father's view. At that time. The brother might be, this is my
- 1:29:43sister. Jerry going to recognize my sister? So does he he only have
- 1:29:47sons or greg of me. I'm just wondering because because like you said,
- 1:29:53you make his sons may take to her and say, hey, this is
- 1:29:56my sister. This is something I never had a sister. So, uh,
- 1:30:00that's a slippery slope. How is it slippery? I'm trying to go
- 1:30:05with sippery. If I'm willing to sign away any financial right, I would
- 1:30:09just like to be legitimized of who is my who is my mother, and
- 1:30:14who is my father? Because because my son came to me and said they're
- 1:30:18having a grandfather granddaughter breakfast at school and Mama, who is my granddaddy?
- 1:30:28And well it's supposed to be I want I don't want to have those conversations
- 1:30:31with my children. My daddy's supposed to be that kind. I want that
- 1:30:36to be established, and not for any gain, but just for our own
- 1:30:43personal peace of mind. Commagine you know she may be willing to sign something
- 1:30:51like I'm I guess I'm still suspicious at this point because now there are certain
- 1:30:57state statutes that regardless of what she's willing. So basically, you walk in
- 1:31:06a room, you have a baby with a woman, and then you just
- 1:31:11walk away somebody like Lebron James. I don't know whether it's documented now,
- 1:31:16but I think when Lebron James first started his road into the NBA, he
- 1:31:21doesn't know who his father is. You don't see where there are some people
- 1:31:29when they get it old enough to start fighting for themselves, says Mama didn't
- 1:31:33want to do it right, and she's speculating. Can't trust her. She
- 1:31:40said it was Jerry, but last week she also said she slept with Bob
- 1:31:44Capcraft a week later. So I want to know who my dad is.
- 1:31:48That's not just a regular human view of life. Why does it have to
- 1:31:55be a scam beyond beyond or I'm just supposed to die with not ever having
- 1:32:02anyone say who my daddy is? And I think, no, no,
- 1:32:04no, no, am I just supposed to die without that knowledge when I
- 1:32:10can actually gain it. And this what ancestry dot com and all those things
- 1:32:14are. I don't even know my other side of my family. But you're
- 1:32:18alive, and they and she say you're my daddy, so I can't know
- 1:32:23anything. And to me to even debate it in your head is because you
- 1:32:27haven't had a first person experience with something like that. I don't know if
- 1:32:32you've ever met someone who doesn't know one of their biological papers. No,
- 1:32:36no, I'm telling it leaves a hole in them. That's I don't know
- 1:32:42my father's side of the family. I knew him enough to know his name,
- 1:32:55But you could be my first cousin any three of you. That how
- 1:33:00little I know of the next connection? And that's you think that's how a
- 1:33:06kid is supposed to exist? Now? No, especially well you didn't.
- 1:33:11You didn't, you didn't put any I don't have any bridges on this side
- 1:33:15and then of knowledge, and then the other side is such a disparity like
- 1:33:21you meet people like me. I can trace my lineage all the way back
- 1:33:26to the trail of good, good or bad? Right, you may find
- 1:33:30some stuff bad bad, producing both of his parents, right, so he
- 1:33:34knows his uncles from his mama's side, his uncles from whatever side, as
- 1:33:40far as it go. So you want this girl, I don't see.
- 1:33:43I see the part where you ol shoot because Jerry's a billionaire. And why
- 1:33:48people as soon as I scratch out that and his name just Jerry Jones,
- 1:33:51the truck driver. Yeah, that would be okay. And why aren't people
- 1:33:56demanding that Jerry Jones man up the way that they do all all of these
- 1:34:00other athletes, the athletes that pay for here. Oh you no bad?
- 1:34:06You were just sitting here two minutes ago saying didn't it didn't even matter?
- 1:34:11Don't you just sitting over what I'm saying younutes ago, like why would she
- 1:34:18even care? Technically two and a half minutes. But it's we'll be back

- 1:36:39see a sports joint, I'll sing, even the big Jny, welcome back
- 1:36:45to the Sports Shop show. I'm the Sports Shop playing game and this is
- 1:36:48a good topic. We can stay here for a while because I'm I'm lost
- 1:36:51with my fellow brothers on here, and I know Big Kenny from being around
- 1:36:57him and the Bad Producer. I know that they know their father, however
- 1:37:01long or how deep, whether the rest of relationship good or bad. They
- 1:37:05know that. I don't know about command you to you know both your parents,
- 1:37:10yes, where you had a relationship with both of them, with one
- 1:37:14of them. Well, I'm saying whether it's good or bad? You you
- 1:37:16you kind of I know who they are and what they look like. Okay,
- 1:37:20So this young lady trying to find her father in a legitimate not in
- 1:37:26a it's supposed to be. I don't see what's the problem. And if
- 1:37:31she ends up being your daughter, then I don't see the scheme. What's
- 1:37:40your kids? And then what is this? What's the steam now? And
- 1:37:44now she came over to bar to the car. She's your daughter, and
- 1:37:47then you left twenty seven years ago, and now you're upset she found you
- 1:37:54and said she need to ride up to Lenox mall and seeing then this is
- 1:37:57what I'm saying to that's why I know you can't right, yeah, you
- 1:38:00my dad? All them days you didn't take me get ice cream cone?
- 1:38:03Come on, man, it's Saturday. Can I get the one ride to
- 1:38:06the mall? And this is what I'm saying socially, Listen, societally,
- 1:38:12that's how it's supposed to start. When it's your DNA and command you have
- 1:38:16chosen not to take care of and that's okay, let's start here. That's
- 1:38:20the part I'm saying. Societally, we are looking at this as not a
- 1:38:27neglected abandoned responsibility. We looking at how does a billionaire protect his billions?
- 1:38:34Even if she came for some money, you could give your child, who
- 1:38:39you haven't had a relationship in your entire life, enough to cover the rent.
- 1:38:44I'm saying, And then we would question her. She didn't have anything
- 1:38:47to do with him being her dad. That was an agreement between Jerry Jones
- 1:38:51and her mother. We don't know how they got to it. It could
- 1:38:55have been Scotch, it could have been Bourbon, it could have been hey,
- 1:38:58just my partner. Oh okay, we don't know. It's different if
- 1:39:02it's her mother coming right. But if it's your child, what is the
- 1:39:11scheme other than hey daddy, Hey daddy, is the mom still alive?
- 1:39:16And how much money? It's a lot of everyday children, how much money
- 1:39:20meeting their real dad? How much money did Jerry originally give her? Some
- 1:39:26of them are only finding finding out at the funeral. Hey mama, what
- 1:39:30we're doing here? He gave up three million, So Jerry gave us three
- 1:39:33million. Get off the money, please please bad produce her. It's not
- 1:39:40about money. If that's your kid, that's your kid. Now. I'm
- 1:39:45not talking about the money in that part. I'm just asking what did the
- 1:39:48mother make an agreement? All the mother is not in this case. Apparently
- 1:39:54she's not in it. But there's a lot of questions got to be asked,
- 1:39:59though, I mean with him, it's not from the mama Jerry Jones
- 1:40:01in nineteen ninety six got a woman pregnant and now he's going to be married
- 1:40:08with other kids, and he wanted, just like a lot of guys in
- 1:40:12the NBA and the NFL, right now, get these young ladies pregnant that
- 1:40:15are married and get them to sign some none disclose your agreements and act like
- 1:40:20and take photos with the other three children and be as dead beat baby daddy.
- 1:40:26But just as you can care on the other street. Right, But
- 1:40:30just because I can afford to be a bit dead beat baby daddy, it
- 1:40:31ain't really being a dead beat baby daddy because at least she got a house
- 1:40:36and a car. But you still got a fatherless child. And every single
- 1:40:41person that has come against a single mother to try and express to her how
- 1:40:45she ought to do better because she ain't got a man in that child's life,
- 1:40:48or to look at men like that who know knowingly have a child out
- 1:40:54there and have chosen not to have anything to do with that child, not
- 1:40:59to even give them the decent I'm saying, mothers, this ain't got nothing
- 1:41:04to do with the mother in this case, she'd want In this case,
- 1:41:10mother didn't do anything wrong, And I'm saying everybody that there was a time
- 1:41:15that if now, if a woman came against Jerry John, I gotta move
- 1:41:19on because, like sometimes I like to talk about things, but when I
- 1:41:25have with me and you have to talk about this after the show, because
- 1:41:27I don't know where this dude keep dragging the mama into this story. I
- 1:41:31said, this twenty seven year old girl don't already had said mama, my
- 1:41:39daughter twenty six? She come ring my gate right now and say, daddy,
- 1:41:48I'm home. Remember that baby you had what three decades ago? Hold
- 1:41:55on, hold on, looking just like you on the on the camera,
- 1:41:59Look at you ring my gate. Now I'm here now I can stand up
- 1:42:03for myself. Where your mama? I don't know where's she at or what's
- 1:42:10your anger? I came here? What's your so? Now? What's up?
- 1:42:13Dad? What's your angle? You missed the first twenty six? Now
- 1:42:16I'm standing at your gate? What's up now? I need to contact my
- 1:42:23attorney. I don't understand what other page you're looking other than that's your child.
- 1:42:32You know, that's half of you. Y'all are making it seem like
- 1:42:36it's some kind of saying what happened? Somebody stole your D and A and
- 1:42:43we're cloning people. It's possible, well and not to support, but there
- 1:42:54is a housekeeper from Las Vegas who got a discarded condom from a billionaire and
- 1:43:00impregnated her. None of this was in that right, right, I get
- 1:43:04all that, CSI, we were on TV. Let's put all that.
- 1:43:10But in Jerry Jones came the girl telling me you my dad sequence is right?
- 1:43:18Yep, Jesse, what happened at show? Did say? I met
- 1:43:21the woman? Mama say you met me at the Robert crab House at the
- 1:43:26Crazy Horse, and then we went back to we were remember that? And
- 1:43:30then she said he had just traded Alvin Harper. Yeah, and then she
- 1:43:34said that. I was like guess what and then you was like, uh
- 1:43:40you line and then she was like, well, what do you want to
- 1:43:43do? And he was like sign this and here's your check. And twenty
- 1:43:47seven years later, Hey, do you remember? And what are you sure?
- 1:43:54We'll be back? Were the Sports Jock Show right after this, only
- 1:44:00because we have some money is powerlink pout up things come to the pour's all
- 1:44:05about that time and we know deal, we can don't bowl. Wayne.

- 1:45:46jute. They said it if I got a morning, I bought a new
- 1:45:48batag. I had to waite or watch your tone. Take any jaws.
- 1:45:50I'm gonna be up into the morning. Way back to the sports shops.
- 1:45:54Show on the sports Shop, Wayne Gandy rumors. Falcons are Kirk Cousins the
- 1:46:00Atlanta Falcons. The Comebine is going on. We got a lot of guys
- 1:46:04running some top speeds. People always ask me about the comebin. It's about
- 1:46:08where you are. Some guys perform. I didn't perform at the combine.
- 1:46:11I did all the tests for the thirty team thirty. At that time,
- 1:46:15Carolina and Jacksonville hadn't come into the fold. So when I got drafted,
- 1:46:19there was only thirty teams in the NFL. They came in the next year,
- 1:46:25which makes thirty two teams. But in that case, I didn't do
- 1:46:29the workout part. I waited till I went to Auburn. So when you
- 1:46:32see that some people are making a big deal, some people work out because
- 1:46:35you might have peaked right out that moment, But I had dressed two weeks
- 1:46:40before played down in the Senior Bowl. We felt like, hey, that
- 1:46:44took a toll on your body. Let it rest. We'll do our Senior
- 1:46:47We'll do our pro day in Auburn two weeks later. Perform then. So
- 1:46:51some of it is just where you feel, where you feel comfortable and do
- 1:46:56you think you ready? If you read it in that four to three,
- 1:47:00let's let it out the cage. But if you're not, hey, well
- 1:47:03wait, did we get back down to Ohio State. The boy from Georgia
- 1:47:06ran the four too yesterday? Was it? Well not Georgia, but he's
- 1:47:11from the status of Winton, Clemson and he's got the fastest speed so far.
- 1:47:15I'm like, wow, now I've seen Also, who was the guy
- 1:47:20from Georgia. He got into the issue with the street racing when the two
- 1:47:24people unfortunately lost Len Carter, jaylen Carter. He went to the combine and
- 1:47:28cramped up, didn't get to finish his workout. But he's still what number
- 1:47:32two nine was, still winning the top ten. So your resume can still
- 1:47:40hold a lot of weight even if you don't perform well at the combine.
- 1:47:44Because a lot of times in the past I've always looked at the combine as
- 1:47:48this was just getting you to the audition. If you flunk this, you're
- 1:47:51done well. And when it was first then first inception of it, okay,
- 1:47:57that was the only time you got to do those drills. Okay,
- 1:48:01okay. Then it became you could do it here, and a lot of
- 1:48:05teams and scouting departments got bigger to where you can start having pro days.
- 1:48:12So what you'll get is down here for three weeks. Each day scouts will
- 1:48:20just drive around. So Monday there was a pro dead Georgia Tech. The
- 1:48:26next day there was a pro Dead George. They just drive around for two
- 1:48:29or three weeks in this region. They'll send some other scouts somewhere else and
- 1:48:33they will have a chance to run the numbers again. It almost like we're
- 1:48:39going to give you a second chance. But some guys perform up there because
- 1:48:44that might be Sometimes they do the drills that they are prepared for and stay
- 1:48:47away from the weak ones at that time, and then they think they need
- 1:48:53their forty. Might not, but they'll do the shuffling drills and all that.
- 1:48:56And I'll wait to pro day to do the forty if I feel it.
- 1:49:00But if I'm already hitting the number, let's get it on out the
- 1:49:02way. So it's just based on I just I saw a lot of reports
- 1:49:05trying to drag some people, and it's like and the beauty about this,
- 1:49:10Yeah, and the beauty he just did the interviews. Well, the beauty
- 1:49:14about the pro day too, like sports doctor saying, like the bigger school,
- 1:49:17like an Auburn if you if you're a pro a smaller college and you
- 1:49:21don't get invited to that combine and you get a chance to if you have
- 1:49:26a relationship with that local college, they'll let you. You know, you
- 1:49:29get your chance out there at that pro day yourself as not even being a
- 1:49:32member of that school. And then we have folks like Prime pull up in
- 1:49:35a limo, run to forty, go home, go home, first first
- 1:49:39pick, And you want to minimize what you show them. You want them
- 1:49:43to go off of as much as the tape because that's first and foremost,
- 1:49:46that's football, right. So typically, like a Marvin Harrison, all he
- 1:49:50can do is hurt himself, because his film says top receiver, all he
- 1:49:57can do at a pro day is make them think somebody else. So as
- 1:50:02much as he cannot do, he's going to try to figure out not how
- 1:50:06to do it because sometimes you make mistakes, because some guys are better in
- 1:50:11game performers. So you recommend it's a step faster. It's an instinct to
- 1:50:16it that the actual they actually on the field, right, they play faster,
- 1:50:20They play more physical than what they might have been able to show you
- 1:50:24in a drill, and vice versa. Some people are just all numbers right
- 1:50:28right, They run a foward too, but they have no hands. I
- 1:50:31have no instincts for the ball. So you from your account, from what
- 1:50:36your standpoint and what you're looking at, it's best to do less than to
- 1:50:40do more. If you if you're that guy that's going out there on the
- 1:50:43Pro day or the combine, it's your position. If you're in tag,
- 1:50:47a first rounder doing drill, all that can do is now, if I'm
- 1:50:54in competition with Commanchi and they saying me and Commanchi might be the first lineman
- 1:50:59going off board, and I think I can do this one thing to jump
- 1:51:04over him, then I might want to do that. But you don't want
- 1:51:09to do so much where you pull back too much of the curtain. You
- 1:51:14want them to draft what they've seen. You saw the tape, right,
- 1:51:17yeah, I sent remember the forty games, I sent you on the link.
- 1:51:21I ain't even send the take. That's how advanced I am. So
- 1:51:26that's kind of how it goes. But the NFL comebine and now these guys
- 1:51:29go to their pro day to get to be able to make up for anything
- 1:51:34they thought they didn't do well. Because whatever they did well. The guy
- 1:51:38that runs a four to two at the combine, he's not going to run
- 1:51:43the forty again. He'll just meet you at the school and do something else.
- 1:51:46He thought he did bad at the combine. So it's it's a little
- 1:51:50mixed. Now. I didn't do anything at the combine, so when they
- 1:51:53came to Auburn, I had to do everything all over. So if you
- 1:51:59what if you've refused to do some things or some will that hurt you also,
- 1:52:02or like you say, your tape already is out there for you.
- 1:52:06Yeah, you just rolling the dice based on who you think and what you
- 1:52:10think you are. But you know you went in the draft with a certain
- 1:52:14view. Caleb Williams doesn't want to show him what he can't. So until
- 1:52:19somebody asked him to throw a certain route, he gonna throw the routes he
- 1:52:25liked to throw Why would I show you I can't throw the ten yard out
- 1:52:30And a lot of that would be like so I'm hoping by time the barons
- 1:52:33get around here, you know. So that's how you're hoping that somebody never
- 1:52:39finds that thing that you don't do well. He can't trip until the left.
- 1:52:44So so that is the NFL combine which is going hot and heavy.
- 1:52:48We did lose Chris Mortensen, who was a big fixture in the NFL.
- 1:52:54Mort got made him a couple of times. He was diagnosed about eight years
- 1:52:58ago with throat cans. He was able to fend it off a couple of
- 1:53:01times. About seventy two years old, Chris Mortenson passing away from throat cancer
- 1:53:09and we are in the ocean. The truth is he will throw your in
- 1:53:15the ocean. It's time to wrap things up on the Sports Judge Show with
- 1:53:20Wayne Gandy. Well you designs of the Ocean. It gives a sports out
- 1:53:48just a minute to vient. We hope you enjoyed yourself listening to the show.
- 1:53:54Remember you can go to Spotify, Audible, deez are My Heart,
- 1:54:00Radio, Amazon podcast, Apple Podcasts and catch the entire show. And played
- 1:54:06bag Mancie Greg is gonna stitch us together. We had dropped out there with
- 1:54:12a power outage for a second, but going in ocean today, and I
- 1:54:17was hoping by the time I reported on this story, I would have a
- 1:54:20name, but they still haven't released the name of the excellant twenty five year
- 1:54:28old man playing loud music up in farm Marmington Hills, Michigan, about thirty
- 1:54:35minutes outside of Detroit. In the locker room playing loud music. Eighty year
- 1:54:44old comes over, ask him to turn the music down. You're getting a
- 1:54:49picture already. Did Kenny know what he was about to do? Twenty five
- 1:54:54year old start stumping the eighty year old, beating him up in the locker
- 1:54:58room. We're asking him to turn down the music. But to the rescue
- 1:55:02its former NFL player Braylan Edwards. Y'all remember Brailan Edwards out of Michigan.
- 1:55:10He heard this noise on the other side of the locker room. Braylan decided
- 1:55:14to pull out his cake and fly over and stop the assault. The twenty
- 1:55:20five year old ran out of the gym. They are looking for him.
- 1:55:27Maybe one night the show goes off, they will put his name up.
- 1:55:30But yeah, whoever that is beating the eighty year old up in the locker
- 1:55:38room. Yeah, Ymca man. You know the people come down, they're
- 1:55:42just with good old stretch and some water aerobics. They say things haven't changed,
- 1:55:47but it never used to get stories of eighty year olds getting beat up,
- 1:55:53and if it was, it was about eighty two year old women.
- 1:55:56Man. Yeah, you know what I mean. It's to be grandma and
- 1:55:58beating up granddaddy, not grandson being up. Old man, great bright you
- 1:56:02want some old man, No, no, I'll tell you about coming down
- 1:56:08here and messing with these people. But I wish I had a name so
- 1:56:10I could put it out there for you. But that is who's going in
- 1:56:14there. That young man who jumped on the eighty year old. We're asking
- 1:56:16him to turn the music down in the y m C A fucked up clank.
- 1:56:30All I can say to that eighty year old. I know you,
- 1:56:32you know up in age for protect yourself at all time. Eighty year olds
- 1:56:39don't mind good loud music. Play something. You know he's in there playing
- 1:56:43that little bits it out. That's all for Big Kenny, Commancy Greg and
- 1:56:47the bad producer. We hope you have a good afternoon from the sports shop,
- 1:56:50showing peace went d in the spring back the
