Latest / Tea Time w/Amie & Bev / Episode #193: Blooming Beyond the Pain
Transcript
- 0:02Hi, Welcome to tea sign with Amy and Bev. Happy New Year,
- 0:07good day, so excited. It's awesome. It is so you you go
- 0:14first, how are you? What's going on? How's the new year so
- 0:18far? Where it's great? Actually, it's freaking phenomenal. I saw people
- 0:24yesterday and it's like I felt like something for my clients like that. It
- 0:29was just an easy it was just the most beautiful day ever. And it
- 0:32was a long day. But I'm realizing when we're in these flows of things,
- 0:36there is no loss of energy. I did feel tired, but on
- 0:39the way home, but it's like I got home and you know, I
- 0:42was like, I don't know, and then I got home and it's like
- 0:43I got recharged again. It's like it's just been amazing as far as that
- 0:48goes. And I started listening to this person today called riz Mrza or something
- 0:53like that. He's being he's being interviewed on a show with Maria Minuonos or
- 0:57something like. I'm saying her name wrong. I haven't even or pronounce it.
- 1:00I was just looking at it, but I'm like, man, he's
- 1:03got me inspired. The words that he's using is like, instead of thinking
- 1:07that your heart's breaking to let the light in, it's breaking to let the
- 1:11light out. Like his whole perspective on everything is such a huge perspective and
- 1:15it's really got me charged up and ready to go. So it's like he's
- 1:18speaking all this language that is my language. And I've been going through this
- 1:22process of even like ideas we identify with too much stuff around us, we
- 1:26really do. And he even talked about if you you know, yes,
- 1:30you can change the past, change the change it how you're talking about it,
- 1:34and it's like, that's the truth. How many times do we Oh,
- 1:37I would say that I was miserable, we were always unhappy and blah
- 1:38blah blah, and I look back at pictures and it's like that's not true.
- 1:42But we get into these stories, right, So it's recognizing and it's
- 1:45we're in such a beautiful place. And from what I'm saying, it's just
- 1:51it's even more perspective. Right, It's just how you want to look at
- 1:53everything in this life. It's how we look at things all the time,
- 1:57being in the wrong place the wrong time. And he says, what if
- 1:59you're always in the right place at the right time. We are, We're
- 2:01always in the right place at the right time, because we're constantly growing in
- 2:06this and we set ourselves up or we knew that we would evolve by certain
- 2:08things that were brought into our experience. So it's like, man, I'm
- 2:12just I'm I can feel this is where my passion is. So again,
- 2:15it's paying attention to where our passion is. We're in the new year,
- 2:19right, pay attention to what you what gets you going, what you what
- 2:23charges your whole life up, and then be open to experiences. You know,
- 2:27I've talked to people and I'm not going to bring up this platform,
- 2:29but there's a platform that's out there that I won't say the name that you
- 2:34can go on to there and it's like eight has sexual stuff on it and
- 2:36stuff like that, but the other side of that you could totally. It's
- 2:39like it's like Freeman said, we could be like Jesus, and we could
- 2:44be He always hung around in what others would consider not really good people or
- 2:50good energies to hang around with, but he always hung around them. It
- 2:53wasn't because it was draining him, but because he was such an effect on
- 2:55these energies. And it's like, why not go to those same platforms and
- 3:00and create your own put create your own you know, I can't even think
- 3:06of the right word for it, your own player on the on the whole
- 3:08thing, would you say panel basically, but create your own stuff on there,
- 3:15but change the content you're bringing forward. So if once you change that
- 3:20content that you're bringing forward, it kind of has a different effect because in
- 3:23some of those places, these people are screaming out to be heard that they're
- 3:27of their own and I'm not saying that we're there to save the world,
- 3:30but they're having their own issues. But and they're not in the right places.
- 3:32No, that's not see I'm starting to say the same thing. They're
- 3:36in the right place at the right time. So why not be you be
- 3:38the right person to be the right place at the right time, even during
- 3:40that space, no matter what's going on around you, and presenting something different,
- 3:45Because now you're you've got an area of people that can see you,
- 3:49that have been looking at other stuff and they've been staying in that space,
- 3:52but they want to change. And then you're that one change by showing up
- 3:54on it on that platform, by creating your own channel, like you said.
- 4:00So, it's like there's so many things that are out there right now
- 4:01that we can make a difference or change things, and it's not And I
- 4:04wouldn't do it to go out there and say, hey, I'm changing the
- 4:08world, because there's nothing wrong with the world. But what if I give
- 4:10them an opportunity to see what else is out there? What if you gave
- 4:15them an opportunity to see what else is out there, even from that platform
- 4:17that maybe has had negative attention in the past because of the whatever they provide.
- 4:23But it doesn't mean it has to stay that way, and it doesn't
- 4:26mean that it can't include more things because this is the world. We have
- 4:30all things in this world. Everything is an opportunity. So that's where I'm
- 4:34at thought because I just before this, before we hopped on, I had
- 4:41a coaching session and talking to HER's she talked about she's going through a change
- 4:48in her life and now you know, when she gets home sometimes it's just
- 4:55her and she said, I feel lonely. I'm like, are you kidding
- 4:59me? Do you know what kind of opportunity? I mean? First of
- 5:01all, you have coaching sessions going on, which means you want something different,
- 5:04and the opportunity that you have because the house is empty, right,
- 5:10because you have all this space and time to be with yourself. So then
- 5:15that's the issue. People don't know how to be with themselves, and so
- 5:19they sit there with the program and they've had since childhood and birth and all
- 5:25that. And we want to change the narrative when you want to see things
- 5:30differently, when you want to transform, and universe is like, okay,
- 5:34well you get the whole house to yourself. What are you going to do
- 5:36with it? Well, you can feel lonely or you can be like this
- 5:41is great. It's all about perspective, And that's what you're talking about,
- 5:45is perspective. How are you seeing things? We're programmed to see things from
- 5:51the negative side, the wrong side, the dramatic side, what's wrong with
- 5:57me side, the victim story, all that stuff, instead of like seeing
- 6:02you know, like you're talking about people who are on those sites that are
- 6:09engaging in sexual activities. They're probably doing what they know how to do to
- 6:15survive. So can you see through the eyes of compassion and love? Like
- 6:19they could be a lot of them could be hurting inside, but they don't
- 6:23know what to do differently, and and so you know that comes a lot
- 6:30when you were talking. The word that came up to me was being offended.
- 6:32People get offended by all this stuff, and I'm like, I've kind
- 6:36of moved away from that. It's like because now I'm a victim. If
- 6:41I'm offended by something, now I'm a victim to it. And I'm like,
- 6:44no, how can I see this differently? What is it showing me?
- 6:46What can I what can I learn from this? And and I definitely
- 6:50know from from my perspective and my experience, is that when you go through
- 6:57a forgiveness process of yourself, you develop passion for yourself, and when you
- 7:01do that, you definitely have more compassion for other people. It's a given,
- 7:08like it is automatic. So now like, why do I need to
- 7:13get offended by this? They're just operating from the space and the channels they
- 7:16know how to operate from. That's their programming, that's their habits, beliefs,
- 7:21all the stuff. If I get offended by it, that's on me.
- 7:28That's my responsibility. And I just want to say, I love I
- 7:32love that language too, letting the light out because and I don't know if
- 7:38there's the context of what he was talking about, but it kind of sounds
- 7:41like like They talk about a lot that life experiences clouds our connection to spirit,
- 7:48our spirit in the body, to love to that light that's in us.
- 7:53So it's it's just clouded and and to let that light out right,
- 8:00and that's my expression. I have my hands over my heart, but when
- 8:03I let that light out, my hands go out and I open up my
- 8:07chest. And I'm just explaining that for people. Just listen to the audio,
- 8:11and that is that's truth, right, Like the spirit is in us,
- 8:15the light is in us. It's been there, it's always been there.
- 8:18It's never wavered. When we clear the muck and guck, that's that's
- 8:22from our experiences. Now we get to let that light out, let it
- 8:26shine. Let be be the beacon, the lighthouse, the beacon, or
- 8:31whatever you want to be. And you don't have to beat You're good with
- 8:35where you with being. I'm not saying you need to go out and be
- 8:39a teacher and preach to everybody and all that, but just letting your light
- 8:45out, letting your light shine, that's being an example and you're just living
- 8:50life. So I like those that that term because it's just a different way
- 8:56of saying the same thing I've been saying so gives me more language. Yeah,
- 9:01and it's paying attention to our words. Right, Like there was a
- 9:05gal that I was listening to and she's like, well, I'm pushing through
- 9:07and I'm going to do this. Pay attention to the words you're pushing through.
- 9:09You don't have to push through. And just like even saying that we
- 9:13had the I don't remember over your terminology, but we are the lights.
- 9:16Yeah, we are the lights. There is nothing to there's nothing for us
- 9:20to do. Honestly, there is nothing for us to do. It's like
- 9:22he's even saying, you don't have to apologize to anybody. You don't have
- 9:26to do any of these things. It's not about all that stuff. It's
- 9:30it's really a perspective. But we've learned and it's not a bad thing.
- 9:33It's like, oh, hey, well I learned it that way. This
- 9:35is a different way I can look at it. And if we didn't have
- 9:37that experience, how will we be able to say, hey, this feels
- 9:41better? Right, that didn't feel so great to me, but this feels
- 9:43better. These thoughts feel better. These the words that are coming out of
- 9:46this how mouth resonate with me? What he's saying resonates with me, and
- 9:50it's uplifting and it's just a change on the energy, and it really gives
- 9:54you a different perspective, a different view of everything around you. It's not
- 9:58God, it's just all of our experiences that we've had that we've labeled as
- 10:03bad because a lot of us do. And I'm not saying that bad things
- 10:05haven't happened, but we've labeled them as bad. It was an experience,
- 10:09and it's beyond the experience we came here to. Gosh. It's really looking
- 10:13at things totally different. It's really not being attached to the outcome of things.
- 10:18And that's where the I feel like a lot of problems lie is we
- 10:20have an attachment to an outcome, and I catch myself in these places.
- 10:24I even caught myself getting ready to talk about someone the other day and I
- 10:28was like, Ooh, I said something. I was like, ooh,
- 10:28that's sounding kind of shitty. I don't, I mean, And it wasn't
- 10:31shitty. It just didn't feel good. It wasn't right or wrong. I
- 10:35didn't like the way it felt. Period. I'm not saying if someone wants
- 10:39to go out and judge, go out and judge. Do the best you
- 10:41can when you judge. Yeah, but I'm just saying it's just a matter
- 10:45of perspective, right, And for me, when I'm judging others, I'm
- 10:48putting myself into that place. I mean, I've got pictures, I've got
- 10:52my vision all going up here, and I've got pictures of me. I
- 10:56don't have pictures of somebody else that I'm looking at and saying that's what I
- 10:58want. I have pictures of me, reminding me of that joy that I
- 11:03saw my face, reminding me that you are beautiful. You may not have
- 11:07seen it at the time, but you are. And it doesn't change the
- 11:09fact that time has changed. Time here on this on earth's what school roomor
- 11:15they call it, but time here we've gone through, We've evolved, and
- 11:20it's me. I'm so super stoked about this year. Like if I'm feeling
- 11:24this great since the beginning of the year, fully, crap, people,
- 11:28I don't even know what to tell you, and I can't even contain myself
- 11:30at the time. I'm like, in a different my voice is getting louder
- 11:33versus Freeman sits all the time. Why are you screaming at me? I'm
- 11:35like, I'm excited. I can't help because this person, this person that
- 11:43I had been for so many years, my story was keeping its squashed down
- 11:48and squashed and not shining this beautiful, brilliant light that I am. And
- 11:52everyone's been doing a lot of the same stuff because we try to keep ourselves
- 11:56small to fit into what other people see and we don't want to make them
- 11:58feel bad. Well, when you look at it that way, then it
- 12:01kind of makes them feel about But what if I just show myself the way
- 12:05that I am, the true me that I'm finding that I'm loving even more
- 12:09and more, and then I give them an opportunity to do the same,
- 12:13and if they choose not to, that's okay. It's not a big deal.
- 12:16It's not Everyone doesn't have to jump on my train, do you know
- 12:18what I mean? It's not about I'm right and everybody else is wrong.
- 12:22It's no, this is what feels right for me. It doesn't matter.
- 12:26I'm not going to judge myself or judge someone else because they're doing something different
- 12:30than me. Now I say I'm not going to, but I do catch
- 12:33myself still doing these things. So like you can listen to some of our
- 12:35videos and you might find subcontra victory statements. But it doesn't mean it's just
- 12:41because I'm in my growth process. It's not because I'm doing anything right or
- 12:45wrong. This is where I'm at and it's like, ooh said, I
- 12:46just heard what I said, and I could be aware of it and I
- 12:50can effect I can make it an effective change that feels good for me automatically,
- 12:56and it doesn't matter. It's like life is, Oh my gosh,
- 12:58life is just so amaze. I'm I'm on that train with you. I'm
- 13:05on my train, you're on your train. But we're heading in this direction
- 13:09right. So we met some and I want to point out though to people
- 13:18Bev and I, if this is your first video you've ever seen of us,
- 13:24this is huge for us. Like being in this space of joy and
- 13:31smiling and lightheartedness and laughter and excited about the year and all the stuff.
- 13:39Go back and watch our videos three and a half years ago. Talk to
- 13:43people who knew us when we were in our twenties. Me, if you
- 13:48talk to people, they say, she was a bitch, she was miserable,
- 13:52she wasn't happy, she never hardly ever smiled, like complete opposite.
- 13:58So we've had our journey, We've had our journey, and we're here to
- 14:01be an example for you that you know this is possible. I have not
- 14:07had a better roses of my life my entire I've been laying on the thorns.
- 14:11I was laying on the thorns early in my life and it hurt,
- 14:13and so I had to learn to embrace the roses instead of the pain of
- 14:20those thorns. And so it's been a journey, it's been a process.
- 14:24And so to see us where we're at right now, Bev and I having
- 14:28these conversations and being in our joy, it's been a practice. It's been
- 14:33a lot of healing, it's been a lot of learning, a lot of
- 14:37growth, and we're just here to share with you the things that of where
- 14:43we're at and just have that conversation. And so if you are seeing this
- 14:46video or listening to this content, then you're listening to it for a reason.
- 14:52And it doesn't to me. It doesn't matter which piece you get out.
- 14:56Just be sure to implement something that feels good. Like Bev was saying,
- 14:58well it feels good to her is what she is implementing now. Now
- 15:03that could change tomorrow, It could change in a week, could change in
- 15:07a year. I don't know, it doesn't matter. But if you watched
- 15:09us three and a half years ago when we started and two years ago,
- 15:13you'll notice as there's been a gradual change in both of us over the years,
- 15:16that we will see that we've been in the heavy emotions sometimes through those
- 15:22these past few years on video while we're recording. And so just as long
- 15:28as you recognize that the things that we're talking about, something resonates with you,
- 15:33you know it, you feel it, you receive it, you get
- 15:37those goosebumps or god bumps, implement that. Just implement that, because that's
- 15:43going to be that's the piece you need right now, or the piece that
- 15:48we've I'm not gonna say need, the piece that would be beneficial for you
- 15:50right now in whatever path you are seeking, and we might be that stepping
- 15:56stone. So that stepping stone is okay, you heard our conversation, and
- 16:00then you know, Bev talked about somebody she's been listening to, so you
- 16:03go listen to them, and then that takes you in a direction and you
- 16:07may never come back to us. It's okay, we did our part,
- 16:11or you might decide you want to go listen to the rest of them.
- 16:12That we've recorded great. I hope something you get something out of it,
- 16:17And of course we would be very appreciative if you listen to our videos because
- 16:21it helps our ratings on our channel. So it's gonna be selfish in that
- 16:26moment. So on a do I have, I wanted to go back to
- 16:33the thorns and the roses, and it's like, what about all the roses
- 16:38moments? Do you know what I mean? Right? People are so focused
- 16:42on the thorn moments. Maybe that's why I don't remember a lot of my
- 16:45past because maybe I was focused on those moments and not putting my attention on
- 16:48the rose moments. And if we want to call it like I mean,
- 16:52because basically that's calling it good or bad or you know, it's back to
- 16:56that same space again. But it's like, what if it was all rose
- 16:57moments? From a soul perspective? What if it was all rose moments?
- 17:03Every single experience we've had has been a rose moment? Yeah, because some
- 17:07somewhere along the way, because because my grandfather that blested me, I can
- 17:11I'm in a space now where I can love that person. He's no longer
- 17:15on the in a physical body that I'm aware of he could be in he
- 17:18could have came back in another body, but he wasn't. He's not in
- 17:21that body anymore. But but I don't have a judgment. I became neutral
- 17:26to that. I realized I love the person that I'm becoming now. Yeah,
- 17:30And it's like without if we look back to three and a half years
- 17:33ago, Pasha, if I didn't have those experiences, maybe I wouldn't be
- 17:37Maybe I wouldn't feel this passion as much as I do now. Maybe I
- 17:41wouldn't feel love as much as I do now. Oh my gosh. It's
- 17:45like looking at my grandkids and freemen and my kids and and everybody that comes
- 17:49into my life and how family shows up that even if it's not it's now
- 17:55my new soul family. I have people that are coming into my life.
- 17:57All the time before I was being so restrictive on things, trying to control
- 18:02it, and I wasn't allowing the universe to bring to me those people that
- 18:04would be beneficial in my life. So it's like, oh, are you
- 18:07two taking new clients? No, I'm not, But I could have.
- 18:11But it doesn't. It's not that I did anything wrong. It was always
- 18:15a rose moment at that time. That was a rose moment. My rose
- 18:18moment has it's blossomed them into this huge bouquet of flowers that you can't contain.
- 18:22It's like, no matter what, it's always alive, it's thriving,
- 18:26and it's just being in a different space and being in a different mind space
- 18:29and how we're looking at things. And guess what, the more that excited
- 18:32I get about these things, I'm getting more excited. And I'm constantly like,
- 18:36I'm a millionaire. I'm a millionaire, and and it's like I'm not
- 18:38just a millionaire, but I but it's like I liked the way that it
- 18:42feels now. Before it felt like it was out of my reach or it
- 18:47was something else or whatever. And it doesn't matter. And it doesn't matter
- 18:49if I ever even comes to fruition, it doesn't matter because in that moment,
- 18:53when I'm using those words, that's terminology. It feels good. That's
- 18:57all that matters that moment, whatever however, I'm coaxing myself into that space
- 19:03because that's really what all you're doing right then, it's just being in that
- 19:06space. And it's like I came here to experience and flow and grow and
- 19:11and not contain myself into this little tiny box that people wanted me to fit
- 19:15into, even though that's what we learned. But it's like, who cares
- 19:18that's where I came from. I'm not I mean, that doesn't define who
- 19:22I am. So it's like it's our perspectives. It just takes a little
- 19:27bit of a different look at things. It really does. And I'm and
- 19:30I'm not gonna go all back to the all the the other stuff that made
- 19:36me feel all those ways that I felt like I was the victim because it
- 19:38wasn't. It's good good that I felt that, because it it kind of
- 19:42pushed me into where I'm at right now, or helped guide me or like
- 19:45you know, I was always on the right path. Everything was always meant
- 19:48to me as it was. It was just however I was perceiving it.
- 19:52And it's not good or bad. It's just it's snowing again. But it's
- 19:55it's it's just wonderful. It's just a it's a beautiful experience. And it's
- 20:00like what, I've got a couple. I've got six dogs and one of
- 20:03them is like seems to be having an issue and it's like this morning,
- 20:07I look back at him and it's like, Okay, do your stuff.
- 20:08Man, if you want to get pissed off, and everybody get pissed off
- 20:11everybody? Why is this showing from my experience? I just I'm not gonna
- 20:15how many labels if I put off the situation or how many times let's talk
- 20:19about this. We get our brains into these solution minded things. If you're
- 20:23into a solution, you think there's a problem, right, if you're looking
- 20:26for a solutions, there's got to be a problem in order to have a
- 20:29solution. What if there's no freaking problems? What if there's not? And
- 20:33what if I was another way to keep ourselves busy and it was another way
- 20:36to Oh gosh, my side was hurting up. I gotter go look it
- 20:38up on Google real quick and find out, Oh, you could be my
- 20:41pancreas are you know? And then we start formulating these ideas and we start
- 20:45creating from those thoughts. Right then we're creating and it's like it doesn't even
- 20:48have to be that way. Oh it just got my titchen. Oh what
- 20:53if it was just letting me know that maybe I wasn't thinking in a thought
- 20:56that was just feeling good, that was just showing up my body. That's
- 20:59it. All I gotta do is change my thought real quick and be like,
- 21:02oh, but my toe feels so amazing, And look at my eyelash,
- 21:07that one eyelashes it's blowing in just the perfect direction. Do you know
- 21:10what I mean. It's just it's just just however we want to perceive things,
- 21:12and it's and it's just keeping us in a higher vibrational frequency feeling so
- 21:18that we're growing and going in the direction we want to go to. I'm
- 21:23I'm I'm hanging onto this rose analogy because I think it's amazing, the the
- 21:30idea that for me, because I'm gonna speak from my experience and when I'm
- 21:36looking at a rose when it's when it's in bloom, the beauty of it,
- 21:41the color, the softness of the petals, the scent right when you're
- 21:45when you're in that moment of smelling a rose and the scent, Uh,
- 21:51it's just amazing. Like that's the focus you're focused on that. I forget
- 21:55about the thorns. I forget about that stem that's got all these pokey things
- 21:59on it. And at the same time they're there, I was not giving
- 22:03attention to them, so It's similar to our life experiences. What's getting your
- 22:10attention? And we're programmed, we have been, So now it's time for
- 22:15me to start changing my language. We have been programmed to focus on the
- 22:22drama, to focus on what's wrong, to be in that space of being
- 22:25a victim to our circumstances. And you can still be in your joy will
- 22:33You can still have moments of joy, you can still have the memories of
- 22:38joy, laughter, playfulness in those moments when you're feeling the thorns. When
- 22:48you're feeling the thorns, you recognize what you don't like they're great. It's
- 22:52like, oh, well, this doesn't feel good. Why am I focused
- 22:55on it? Why am not focus on the beauty of the rose itself?
- 23:00And so you know, just recognizing it's your choice. Where are you focused?
- 23:08And the more I you know, every time I say it, now
- 23:11I just start I put this puts a smile on my face. It's your
- 23:14choice, it's your choice, it's my choice. It's my choice. Is
- 23:18my choice? And what am I choosing? Where am I choosing the focus?
- 23:22And so just remembering that in any and yesterday we had breakfast with some
- 23:29friends and they were telling me about experience they were having, and they were
- 23:32kind of glossing over some things, and I'm like, listen, tell me
- 23:36all the drama. I want to hear the drama because I need all the
- 23:37details. And I set up playfully, and then they shared more about the
- 23:41story. And it's snowing here too, just you know that. Uh.
- 23:47But as they were telling me, I wasn't getting sucked into the pain and
- 23:52the muck and guck of it. I just listened and I had a smile
- 23:53on my face, and every once in a while put I put plant some
- 23:57seeds of some words about well, that's what she knows how to do,
- 24:03right, And so I would just put these comments in there every once in
- 24:07a while. And so practicing that was actually kind of fun. I was
- 24:11like, this is great. It's also recognizing we're going to go back to
- 24:18we're going to continue with the rose and the thorns, or the Cacus flowers
- 24:22or the cacus and the beautiful flowers. We can look at it like I've
- 24:23had Joseph's code. If anyone's ever grown Joseph's coat, it's an absolutely beautiful
- 24:29flower. It changes from yellows to orange to red too. I mean it
- 24:33is the most beautiful rose to me, it is man, but it's got
- 24:37the most horrendous thorns. But let's look at this a little bit differently.
- 24:41Those storms are protection, right, Those storns could be protection from another animal
- 24:45eating it. Those storms are protection for animals to be able to go into
- 24:49that and to be protected. Same thing with a cactus. We have cactus
- 24:52wrens, you have sparrows, you have all kinds of just a normal what
- 24:56we consider natural for Arizona around us, and that's their support and their protection
- 25:03at the same time. So it's all a matter of perspective. I just
- 25:06wanted to bring that forth as far as perspective goes, because that protection at
- 25:08the same time, that's enabling an animal to survive and not be attacked by
- 25:15a larger animal. It's just or you know, it's whatever the experience is,
- 25:19but it is. It's another amazing way to be living in that sheltered
- 25:23space or that comfortable place. So it's all how you want to perceive things.
- 25:29We can find the beauty and anything. You can sit and look at
- 25:30a whole rose bush, or you can sit and look at all the thorns.
- 25:33It's totally up to you. And if you want to look at the
- 25:36thorns find the positive in it. The positive is it's a great shelter for
- 25:38birds and for critters, and you know, to be able to go into
- 25:41that, some other big things can't get into very well. So it's just
- 25:45if we live life just being excited about things. And before I couldn't be
- 25:51excited because I was putting. I was focused on being excited. I had
- 25:55no idea of this was even possible. I didn't think this was anything that
- 25:59was going to be my experience in this lifetime. And it is so.
- 26:03And it wasn't because I didn't think it was. I just never thought about
- 26:07it. It never crossed my mind. I remember looking at people and it's
- 26:10like, oh, they they're a little bit excited. They need to calm
- 26:11down over there. Now I'm that excited person. I'm not going to calm
- 26:15down. That's just the way it is. I'm going to keep going the
- 26:18way I'm going. You know. It's it's kind of interesting. I told
- 26:21myself this year because I'm this is that I retired, and it's like I
- 26:26was telling myself, if this one client this, if she ends up moving,
- 26:30I know, this is like my big huge sign, right using it
- 26:33as a sign again, well she's retired from her job and she's getting ready
- 26:37to move, and it was like, holy smokes, and it's happening so
- 26:42fast, all of it, and it's like, okay, that's I'm that
- 26:47okay, universe, I hear you. But it's not. But when I
- 26:51say that kind of stuff, it's almost as if we're putting it into someone
- 26:52else's hands. Like I'm saying, oh, well, this happens, I
- 26:57need to sign for this. No, you don't go out and freaking do
- 27:00whatever makes you happy. We're we're forgetting we can trying to contain ourselves in
- 27:03that space again, I'm almost like saying, hey, mom, Dad,
- 27:07can I go ahead and go out and do this? And is it okay
- 27:08if I go don't go? Maybe maybe I don't go to work today.
- 27:12Is it okay if I just maybe I drive up to Colorado out of the
- 27:18blue for what the heck? Why not? Do you know what I mean?
- 27:19It's those little things. It's like we're looking for permissions from all these
- 27:22places and it's like it's within. It's like it's not we don't have to
- 27:26have this big aha moments all the time. That's making us live by thinking
- 27:32that we have that something else is in control again. It's like, oh
- 27:33God, I'm sitting here, I'm still waiting for that freaking aha. I
- 27:37don't even know when I'm supposed to do this. When do I put my
- 27:38last day? Like all these things, because we're looking for something. I
- 27:41have been looking for something outside of myself to tell me when it's time,
- 27:45and that's that's just not the way it is. And then of course I've
- 27:48let go. I've surrendered. I surrender, I surrender to my soul.
- 27:52I surrender to the lights I am. I surrender to my lights. And
- 27:56it's recognizing all how all that stuff feels, but recognizing. But it's not
- 28:00a matter of where I'm going to go or do. It's not a matter
- 28:03of what work I'm going to do. It's a matter of being happy with
- 28:07whatever I'm doing. And that's how I was yesterday. That's how it was
- 28:11all day. And it's like normally I would be like pressed to do something
- 28:14else. And I saw, you know, a few three clients, and
- 28:18one of them was having some issue in the morning, and I'm like,
- 28:21you want me to come over and help you with that? As soon as
- 28:22I've all be done at this time, and that's not I would never have
- 28:26offered to do stuff like that in the past because I didn't have the time.
- 28:29I didn't think I had the time. And now it's like it was
- 28:32just such a beauty and I go over and help, and it's like,
- 28:34well, here, take this, take this, take this, here,
- 28:37have this. You know, all these things that are like all these gifts
- 28:40that are coming to me that are going to go from me out to other
- 28:41people. So it's fascinating and it's fun. It's just our perspective on things.
- 28:48I keep saying that, but it really is. It's just really how
- 28:51we want to look at it. And it's so it's been said so many
- 28:52times. It's like is it a glass half full or half empty? And
- 28:56it's like, it's to me, it's so much bigger than that. That's
- 29:00andy stated so many times. I don't even feel it. But when I
- 29:03when I hear that, risk say, it's not letting it's not all the
- 29:06cracks in your heart. To let the light in, it's to let that
- 29:08light out is for the whole world to see that. It put us in
- 29:11a vulnerable position for us to love anyways, that's awesome. I love it
- 29:18so beautiful that when we are able to get through that cloud, right,
- 29:26that cloud, that heavy cloud like cloud of the the I'm gonna call negative
- 29:30art clouds. Yeah, yeah, our cloud. We put it, We
- 29:33put it in place, not even realizing it. Yeah. So when you're
- 29:37when you you know, look at the cartoons and they have those those the
- 29:41heavy emotions is represented as a dark cloud and it's like above you and it's
- 29:45just raining on you or or you're surrounded by this dark cloud. Like,
- 29:51think about that as your life experiences, those your life experiences created, contributed
- 29:56to, contributed to to the way you feel, and the way you feel
- 30:03you've been focused on that heavy emotion, and that heavy emotion is actually a
- 30:07story of I'm not good enough. And what that story is a blank for
- 30:14is I'm not loved or accepted. And so then you're pursuing life seeking ways
- 30:21to feel loved and accepted, and in that you're just trying to prove yourself
- 30:23good enough. And so you're exhausting yourself and doing that through people pleasing and
- 30:27being a fixer and all the things that you learn from your childhood environment.
- 30:34So when we start to see through different eyes of well, how is that
- 30:41how was that experience in my childhood beneficial for some of the skills that I
- 30:47learned that I'm implementing now and I could build up on that if we changed
- 30:52the foundation. Your foundation before was I'm not loved and accepted. But if
- 31:00I change the foundation to these amazing skills, and that's what my focus is
- 31:04now, I can build on that. So we're laying the fertile ground,
- 31:08just like that rose bush, right The rose bush and any other plant needs
- 31:14a fertile ground, needs a ground to be able to grow from. That
- 31:17seed's got to be planted to be able to open up and create its roots
- 31:22and create the piece above the ground. If it grows above, maybe it
- 31:26grows below, who knows. But the idea is that it's got a foundation.
- 31:32And when you build on a foundation, that's healthier in a sense of
- 31:36like your mindset, your emotions, your conversations. When you're building on that
- 31:45fertile ground that you're feeding with good feeling, things that resonate with you,
- 31:52things that they're lifting you up. Now it blossoms. And so just keeping
- 31:57that in mind, where where are you growing from? What foundation are you
- 32:02growing from? I love the rose bush analogy this is so cool. We
- 32:14never know, fun what we're gonna talk about. We never know. I
- 32:17don't even try, pash. I remember before trying to like watch podcasts and
- 32:22stuff like that to be to find that inspiration. And now I'm just like,
- 32:25okay, so what words do you want to bring forward today? What
- 32:29do you want to talk about? And it's like and I love that I'm
- 32:31being guided to certain things. And it's funny because I wasn't going to listen
- 32:35to this, you know, I don't know what my deal was, but
- 32:37I was like YouTube is great. It really is in so many ways,
- 32:40but I'm going through it because it brings you information, right, And it's
- 32:44like this one day, it's it's interesting how it is today, and they
- 32:47say it goes by what you're looking at, but it's like it's been evolving,
- 32:51is changing, and it's like I'll go on there and it's like all
- 32:52there is is channelers. And I was like, I don't want to listen
- 32:54to any of this stuff, Like I didn't. I don't want to listen
- 32:58to and you're talking to me that. I love that. I'm drawn to
- 33:00it. Well, it keeps finding its way to me and I'm listening to
- 33:04all this stuff and I'm like, oh, this one looks good. He's
- 33:06got predictions for twenty twenty four, Right, I'm going to go into there.
- 33:08And I go in there there and find out that he's a psychic medium
- 33:12and a channel or two, and it's like, you have got to be
- 33:15kidding me, Universe, like this is hilarious to me, and it's just
- 33:19it's nurturing. It's it's like it's nurturing that fire. I have no idea
- 33:23what I'm what I'm where I'm going, or what I'm going to choose to
- 33:27do, because it's not before I was leaving it so much into Fate's hands
- 33:31or whatever, like I was giving it responsibility to somebody else to have control
- 33:36over what my next step was. Make it exciting, guys, come on,
- 33:39make it exciting. But it's like it's up to me to follow those
- 33:43passions, to follow the the videos that are that are coming in. It's
- 33:47like and recognizing, okay, well that's shown up again. Well there's great
- 33:52information. But it's also letting me know that we all have this capability.
- 33:55And I've talked about this. It's just learning how to flex those muscles.
- 33:59It's learning to be in tune with that and not be in tune other ways.
- 34:02It's learning how to play with your friends by reading each other's minds,
- 34:07you know, being in that psychic place, because we do it all the
- 34:10time. People everybody, I think, at one point or another has have
- 34:14that experience where you're saying, you're just locked in with someone and you're having
- 34:17conversations and you're saying the same thing as the other person, or you or
- 34:21they can't find the word, and then you you know that. And I
- 34:23do this all the time, and the word will pop into my head what
- 34:25they want to say, but I let them do it anyways, and then
- 34:29they'll come up with the words. So it's not because I'm not because I
- 34:31don't need to fix it, because I can be in that space to recognize
- 34:36it's nice. Now I'm not when I say it, fix it. I
- 34:38appreciate it when you brought for it, because I couldn't. It wasn't exactly
- 34:42the word I was looking for was channel, but it's like I didn't have
- 34:44a vocabulary. It wasn't coming up right then. So that was like the
- 34:46best thing to go to at that point, because otherwise I was getting hung
- 34:50up on it right but it's like I'm recognizing so many different things and how
- 34:53we do it, and then how am I operating from that space too,
- 34:57and what does that feel like? And what does it look like? I
- 35:00am freaking questioning every single thing everything that I'm saying today, Question it,
- 35:05every single thing, because this is my experience and that's the that's what I'm
- 35:07recognizing. Oh, well, this is what's going to happen when you die.
- 35:10I'm listening and I love Suzanne Gieseman, and I love There's just so
- 35:14many people that I listened to and they'll start saying things, Well, this
- 35:16is what happens on the other side. Is it that hasn't been in my
- 35:20experience? How can I say that it is? But it hasn't been in
- 35:22my experience because otherwise I'm just preaching someone else's words. Now, when I'm
- 35:27listening to Rizz this morning, I'm using words that he used, but that
- 35:31totally resonate with me and that I totally felt it. And that's how I
- 35:35knew for me right this moment that resonated with me, And like you said,
- 35:38it may not resonate with me. I can tell you four years ago
- 35:44I probably wouldn't have even gathered it. One of my friends was, She's
- 35:47like, guy, could you imagine you five years ago? And I said,
- 35:50no, I can't. I cannot fathom that that was a lifetime ago.
- 35:54That was that was another life, that wasn't even this life. It
- 35:58wasn't even this experience. And it's but if we can change our path by
- 36:02the way we think, then it could have been. It's like, look
- 36:05at me, I was growing all along that whole path. I was evolving
- 36:08the whole time, and I was doing it quickly, as quick as I
- 36:12would allow myself to do it. It just changes the person. And that
- 36:15gave me goosebumps. And that just changes the perspective on how we're saying things.
- 36:20We've just I feel like sometimes we try to keep ourselves so small just
- 36:25to help help someone else that's keeping themselves small, and that creates a domino
- 36:30effect. Right. So now it's learning to be just as open as you
- 36:36want to be and being your true, authentic self. And when you don't
- 36:38know, because I have it known and I still don't know, I just
- 36:40know that this is me evolving, this is me in a different space,
- 36:45this is me, this is me in twenty twenty five if you want to
- 36:49put a time frame out there, this is me growing and evolving and changing
- 36:53and being a ripple or not, it doesn't matter. I just know it
- 36:59feels right for me and what feels good for me and I and it's working
- 37:04for me. I have my grandkids here the other day. I hadn't seen
- 37:06him since Christmas, which she's put a stake in my heart, not just
- 37:10getting mess out, because I was like, oh my god, I miss
- 37:13him. And do you know what when I missed, even missing my kids,
- 37:15I'm not do I call them No. So I'm learning to do that,
- 37:20like learning to reach out and talk and because it's so easy to use
- 37:22Boxer or other programs to do a little quick chat and it's done. But
- 37:27I was really missing them and I go pick them up, and I pick
- 37:30up my granddaughter and she's like, well, I just wanted to be me.
- 37:32This is my day. And I said, well, actually this is
- 37:35usually my grandson's day. You know, this is his day, is not
- 37:39usually your day. This is Friday, And she said oh. I said,
- 37:45but you know what, I changed it from right there, because it
- 37:46was up to me. I could be down at their level or be at
- 37:50that energy of like I just want I just want Grandma all to myself.
- 37:53I don't want anybody else to be here. Or it's like, you know
- 37:57what, I have missed you guys so much. I am so excited about
- 38:00today. And every time they would start to go into a different direction,
- 38:04I would change it. Now I did. There was a few times I
- 38:06was getting pulled in a few different directions that I had to like kind of
- 38:08like, wait a minute, because we're doing Legos right one's doing a whole,
- 38:12big, huge box of Legos and the other one's doing a big,
- 38:15huge box of Legos. And then I got all this stuff. I'm like,
- 38:16wait a minute, slow down, let's do these let's there's steps for
- 38:20this. That's why there's number one on that. And I also have to
- 38:22realize that well, first of all, my grandson and he said, and
- 38:24he can do all this stuff. He doesn't he doesn't need to be but
- 38:28we had two boxes. He had two boxes of his open at the same
- 38:30time. I'm like, oh man, this can turn into a show.
- 38:34And I was trying to make it easier for him. And it's like,
- 38:36why let them have their let them have their experience, open up both boxes.
- 38:39You let me know how it works out. I'll help you out the
- 38:42best I can if you ask me for it. But it's like it's it.
- 38:45I didn't have to do anything else with it. So there's a lot
- 38:49of recognition that that's going on for me. And it's just realizing how I'm
- 38:52showing up and even how I was judging even that's a judgment. Still in
- 38:54that space, and that's guess what, It's okay, But I can change.
- 39:00I can make it different because to change to whatever it feels good for
- 39:05me. Maybe I like to control it like that. Okay, pe'l go
- 39:07for it. But it's like I'm realizing it. I can help them to
- 39:12learn so much by just being there when they're doing it, and just I'm
- 39:15just kind of being a guide and making sure that they're, you know,
- 39:19somewhat safe, that they're not trying to kill each other, because sometimes kids
- 39:22get a little bit crazy and they not recognize the reprecussions of things. But
- 39:25it's it's just being in that space and being in that joy, and it
- 39:29was there was so many opportunities, and I took the chance to jump into
- 39:32those opportunities, and every time they would do something, and then it's like
- 39:37they would do something, the other one would try to one up the other,
- 39:39and instead of me saying, you, guys, this is not a
- 39:42competition, I'd be like, Oh, you are doing a great job.
- 39:45High five. Oh you are too, look at you guys. Go And
- 39:47then then they started helping each other out. Oh I can't do this,
- 39:52grandma. Oh. And then Colton comes over and helps her do it.
- 39:54And it was just it's just a I got to see how it was for
- 40:00me just to show up and just to be and to appreciate every moment of
- 40:05it, whether there was arguing or no arguing, because even arguing represents to
- 40:08me they're still here right now, they're still vital what we would consider vital.
- 40:15Yeah, that's so cool. We were talking about the the healing process
- 40:22and and you know, the health, the long the length of time.
- 40:24I was talking to somebody yesterday and I said, she's She made a comment
- 40:29She's like, I'm so because she's been with me since the beginning of my
- 40:32like well since my mid thirties when I really started stepping into this space of
- 40:37of doing energy work and then teaching and all that. So she's been with
- 40:40me on this journey and being a witness to and observing and and she said,
- 40:46you know, she made the comments because I'm so proud of you.
- 40:49I said, you know, I'm I'm I'm at a point now I'm proud
- 40:52of myself, like look at me, go look where I'm at. And
- 40:57I said, I said, I said it, well, I did take
- 41:02the scenic route. I'm not so there's a there's terminology. You know,
- 41:07a lot of people would say, well I took the hard road. I
- 41:09had to learn it on my own, right, and you got that whole
- 41:13it just if I'm like, it took the scenic grout, took a little
- 41:16longer, but actually it didn't. It was perfect for me. And now
- 41:22because I did take that scenic grout, I know what it feels like.
- 41:24I know how long that journey felt like. And I get to offer up
- 41:31those pieces of information to help other people, So maybe it doesn't take as
- 41:37long and and and you know, it still comes back to no matter where
- 41:40you're at on your journey, it's perfect. So I just thought, even
- 41:47in that moment, using the word scenic route instead of the hard road,
- 41:51I mean, it was just like, look look at you, look at
- 41:53you, and look where you're at, and look how amazing you're doing,
- 41:57and we tend to forget to do that. Is I not knowledge? Look
- 42:00at everything you've been through and look that you and you're still here, Like
- 42:07how cool is that? And all the qualities and all the value that it
- 42:15has been gained from your life from your experiences, and focus on that.
- 42:20Give more attention to that, and and identify how well right Bev's high fiving
- 42:28her grandkids, like, look, how amazing you're doing. Do that with
- 42:30yourself. Mel Robbins has that, she sayss called the high five in the
- 42:35mirror. High five yourself, and that sets a different precedence because a high
- 42:38five, just in the we've all been programmed with this, a high five
- 42:44is higher energy. It's a way to go at a boy. You're doing
- 42:46great, you're amazing. So when you high five yourself, you're bringing in
- 42:51that energy without even having to really think about it. You're just like,
- 42:54wow, look at you, high five sister, look at you. You're
- 42:59so amaze, You're doing so great. And so you know, if you
- 43:05need to look into melt Robbins content and go listen to that. So acknowledging
- 43:13yourself, acknowledging yourself more and more and more, and I you know,
- 43:17I go as far as like making it comical, like if you wear throng
- 43:22underwear, congratulates you. Congratulate yourself for you're getting them on right, because
- 43:28this is not very comfortable when you get them on the opposite way and what
- 43:35they are meant to be worn. Not that I've ever done it to saying,
- 43:40I can imagine. In fact, it was so funny. I saw
- 43:44a cartoon in the paper to two women are facing each other and one has
- 43:54thong underwear on and the other friends like, you might want to put those
- 44:00on the right way, but that's awesome, that's funny. Crack me up.
- 44:09But anyway, acknowledging yourself more often of how well you are doing,
- 44:15and that starts to change the dynamics because now you're you're programming yourself to look
- 44:21for that stuff more often. It's similar to being having a gratitude list or
- 44:27practicing gratitude. The more you do it, the more your brain is now
- 44:32programmed to look for more of that stuff. So ah, and he guys
- 44:38taught right, you had to learn that, and you're learning you're teaching your
- 44:43grandchildren this and so this is a huge opportunity because a lot of this stuff
- 44:47we have, we have to learn it because nobody in our experience, in
- 44:52our childhood knew this stuff. No, it wasn't an experience. We had
- 45:00the experience of the other stuff, and it wasn't that it was good or
- 45:01bad. But it's like there comes a time and space. It's like,
- 45:05eh, like you know what, there's other things that feel better. Laughter
- 45:08feels better. You know, it's like one of the best things in the
- 45:12whole planet. Laughter, and this and that and that flows that that love
- 45:16right into you. Well, you're aware of the love. It's always been
- 45:21there. It was always flowing into you. It's just looking at things,
- 45:27feeling things, experiencing things, and meditation has been one of my biggest things,
- 45:32honestly, ever since I talked about it a couple of weeks ago,
- 45:36Ever since that one day, I'm sitting out there and it's like I had
- 45:37never been in that experience where I was just being the way that I was
- 45:42being. So now every time I wake up at night, I just I'm
- 45:45if my mind starts to get into the old patterns or the things that I
- 45:50let's let me drop the patterns and to the things that just weren't feeling good
- 45:53at that time. It's the automatic change. I automatically shifted, Okay,
- 45:58let's meditate right now, and then I automnally go into the feeling, the
- 46:01knowings, the what do I sense? What do I hear? Taking myself
- 46:06into paying more attention, and it's going right back into myself. But by
- 46:10doing that is gosh, you want to flow in service, right you?
- 46:15You There's so many other things that you want to do. This ritz and
- 46:19another thing that this Riz says, I'm fifty four, and I thought,
- 46:22yeah, this is the year for fifty four for myself. And he says,
- 46:25it's not a matter of going out and lifting weights or anything like.
- 46:31It's lifting the light up into yourself. It's like when you're doing that,
- 46:34you're raising your own vibrations. With every single thing that we do, they
- 46:37ask him, how do how do you have all this energy? Is because
- 46:40we can be in that flow of the energy all the time. It's our
- 46:45words and how we're experiencing it. And if I'm going to pump some iron,
- 46:47I'm pumping light right up into me. I'm pumping energy up into me.
- 46:52There's nothing that's draining. It's the way It's that goes all the way
- 46:55back to perspective. If you think that it is, it is, and
- 46:59it's having all time. Gosh, I could probably have the words like,
- 47:01how did we ever manage working forty plus hours a week taking care of kids,
- 47:07like all that stuff. How do we do? By the grace of
- 47:09God? But by the kids? Again, you said taking a scenic route
- 47:15and hav him to do scenes alone. It's recognizing I didn't have someone stifling
- 47:19stifling me when I was on that scenic growth. The only one that stifled
- 47:22me or controlled me was me because we had a lot of freedom. I
- 47:24had a lot of freedom as a kid my parents. My mom was at
- 47:28work. What do they call a latch key kids? Your parents are working
- 47:30all the time. My mom was the My was the she was the family.
- 47:36She was mom and dad for a long time. And going through all
- 47:39those experiences, gosh, I say mom and dad, and then I start
- 47:43realizing how my biological father has came back into my life and I haven't really
- 47:47been spending a whole lot of time talking to him as yet. It'll happen
- 47:51or it won't, but I don't have I'm not putting pressure on myself I'm
- 47:57interested and I want to hear what his life was about out and you know
- 48:00how his experiences were. But it's from a space of that's neutral, right.
- 48:05It couldn't have been in here in any other timeframe. It's just like
- 48:07me saying because it was his father that was the one that was had introduced
- 48:13different things to my life that maybe I probably wouldn't have chosen, or I
- 48:15thought I wouldn't have chosen, but it made me who I am today to
- 48:20have a compassion for people that have gone through it, or to even have
- 48:23compassion to be like, well, what happened to him when he was a
- 48:25child, or was what did he experience? And it's seeing things so differently
- 48:31and it's so much lighter. But like going back to my dad, it's
- 48:35like it's recognizing and hearing those things and then going to my stepdad and thinking,
- 48:39I don't you know, knowing that when I'm ready to do the things
- 48:44that I'll do them if I want to, and if I don't, I'm
- 48:45not going to. It's not a matter. It goes back to what I
- 48:49said earlier. It's not a matter of apologizing or receiving an apology or any
- 48:52of that stuff. It doesn't matter that that's focusing on something else when I
- 48:55could be focused on the light, Like why would I focus on that kind
- 48:59of stuf? And instead of just being in joy and then whatever comes into
- 49:02my experience, I'm ready to take it with gusto and passion and love and
- 49:10without having any condemnation or judgment or hatred or love or whatever. It's just
- 49:17being in that space. And then all the experiences they don't have to they
- 49:22don't have to make spense makes sense. But often and what is my struggle
- 49:27with even talking to my stepdad is because initially I'll run into someone at the
- 49:31store that he's talked said a lot of stuff about me, and now they've
- 49:35got an opinion about me, and it's like they walk by like it's there's
- 49:37just such different energy and it's like, but I gave attention to that,
- 49:42I don't have to give attention to that. And that means I'm still holding
- 49:44onto his story. But guess what, I'm not going to hold myself in
- 49:47the darkness for that because because I am doing I'm just like not ready for
- 49:52that on the menu, I don't, you know, And that's okay.
- 49:54It's just being in that space of being okay with where you're at. And
- 49:58and again, those things don't feel like my passion. So it's really going
- 50:02for where my passion is at, not being focused on what I thought was
- 50:06wrong right or who may have wronged me. It's being in the space that
- 50:09because if I feel that way, that changes the whole dynamics of the energy
- 50:13that I'm even putting out right now. That changes the way that I feel
- 50:15right now, versus being in the space of passion. So it's really it's
- 50:21so simple. It's really so simple. It is so simple. Not always
- 50:29easy. We're not going to say it's easy all the time, but it
- 50:32does get easier the more you move in the direction of that feels good.
- 50:40But it's a choice, right, It's what we chose to do. So
- 50:43I can choose to focus on that, or I can choose to focus on
- 50:46being passionate and be receiving those messages and how did that feel in the body,
- 50:51and how can I maintain that? And it's like, oh, hello,
- 50:53Soul, thank you for like, thank you for being here for me
- 50:57and guiding me. And I always know that I was never alone in the
- 51:00first place, and I just wasn't talking to you. I was just talking
- 51:01to everybody else. I was wanting an advice from someone else, and I
- 51:05was wanting someone else to direct me. And it doesn't have to be that
- 51:08way. And that's very free because we are free. We're as free as
- 51:13that we allow ourselves to be. Yeah. Yeah, and oh comes down
- 51:22to choice. That's such a huge ord, man, such a huge word.
- 51:28You were talking about feeling emotions and stuff earlier, and I listened to
- 51:35a gentleman because you know, sometimes if people when we talk about meditation,
- 51:38there's there's some they say they have difficulty, and a lot of those people
- 51:44that say that have been diagnosed with a term ADHD or a d D.
- 51:53And doesn't mean you have to own it, and I'm not. I'm not
- 51:58going down that route. What I am getting at is that their mind is
- 52:02busy and it needs to stay busy. And his his teaching was to in
- 52:10a way to keep your mind busy while you're in a meditation process is to
- 52:15notice your body. What is your body doing? Is it feeling uncomfortable,
- 52:22is it wanting to move? Is it right? He's like to just have
- 52:27awareness of your body, and that's what his focus was. And I thought
- 52:30that was so amazing, and it's it's like a simple practice. It's a
- 52:35simple practice if you choose to do it, if you allow yourself to do
- 52:38it. What we do is we resist it. We resist meditation, We
- 52:44resist implementing things that resonate that feel good to us. We resist the healthier
- 52:51relationships because we're still in the pattern of the unhealthy relationships. We resist changing
- 52:58the dynamics of conversation because we're still drawn to the drama. We resis.
- 53:04We're in this space of resistance, and it's changing that to to be in
- 53:09a space of flow, flow with it. Flow. Okay, what am
- 53:14I feeling in my body? Isn't that interesting? Maybe write it down and
- 53:17kind of give some attention to that and just just recognizing, because if you're
- 53:24seeking to change something, transform changing changing something, then you first want to
- 53:29identify what it is. Do I want to that I want to change?
- 53:34So acknowledgment, acknowledge that. And it's not that it's not that I'm saying
- 53:39find the things that are wrong with you, because there's nothing wrong with you.
- 53:43Is find the things that are no longer resonating with you. Find the
- 53:45things that that you can tell within your body doesn't feel good that you are
- 53:52like this, this, I am no longer attracted to these type of people,
- 53:59this kind of conversation, these types of words, right, acknowledgement,
- 54:04acknowledge it, have awareness of it. Then you start getting the tools once
- 54:09you acknowledge something and sending that information out there to the universe that Okay,
- 54:20this is what I want to would like to change, make do differently,
- 54:27What tools or what information is available to me that I could start implementing to
- 54:31make that change. And you will be amazed. I certainly was. You
- 54:37will be amazed how much information will come to you and you'll be like,
- 54:40oh, I was just thinking about that. Oh I was just having a
- 54:43conversation about it. Oh I just listened to a video about this, and
- 54:46it just starts coming. Because now you're in that space of allowance. So
- 54:51allow yourself to feel the emotions, allow yourself to acknowledge the things that you
- 54:55want to change, allow yourself to receive the information that going to be beneficial
- 55:00in making those changes, allowing it and again, it's all a choice.
- 55:05So you can choose to stay in the space that's uncomfortable to you, meaning
- 55:09with yourself, with your with your mindset, and your habits and all the
- 55:14stuff that's in your container container meaning your physical body. What's in your control
- 55:20is yourself. You can stay in in the old ways, or you can
- 55:27start moving in a direction of fresh and new and different and change. And
- 55:32so it's just recognizing always we say, almost every single week, almost every
- 55:39single week, we say, notice what feels good to you? Notice what
- 55:46feels good. Your body is a great indicator of that. Notice what feels
- 55:50good to you. Give more attention to that, what feels good to me,
- 55:54what resonates with me? And you will immediately no, what doesn't like
- 56:02It just becomes so simple, And then what are you going to do to
- 56:08change to move in a direction where you feel better? If you know that
- 56:15something doesn't feel good? Okay, well what am I going to do to
- 56:16move in a direction it feels better. One of the things that I was
- 56:23what I wrote down, is I'm surrendering resistance to my soul because that resistance
- 56:30has fere you know, wanting to control things. It's just surrendering it.
- 56:32We don't have to have it. We don't have to Yeah, we've chose
- 56:37to utilize that as a tool for this experience, but we don't have to
- 56:39have that. That's just another tool that's on the toolbox or another toy that's
- 56:44in the toy box, and we can either grab that toy or grab a
- 56:46different one. We can grab that tool or grab a different one. It's
- 56:50it's I feel like it's that simple. Yeah. And if you're in that
- 56:53space, you know, like you said, if you're in a space of
- 56:57something else, then it's like feel how fields and you kind of got to
- 57:00figure out what you what floats your boat, because what floats my boat's not
- 57:04going to float everybody else of the boat. But sometimes it's finding things that
- 57:07just make you laugh. It's it's just presenting because it's life is different when
- 57:12you're laughing at things, and life is different when you're you know, one
- 57:16of my friends she just went to Colorado and picked up a new puppy,
- 57:21so it was like super cute, and it's like finding the jove that in
- 57:24that timeframe and knowing that I'm excitedly anticipating that I'm going to meet this dog
- 57:29because I will because she'll bring her to or him to the gym. And
- 57:32it's like because she's this is her baby in training, so she's training them
- 57:37how to be around everybody and it's like, it's just a beautiful experience.
- 57:40However, we want to look at things, and either way you look at
- 57:44it, it's still a beautiful experience. Yeah, it really is. It
- 57:49really is. And perhaps before I wouldn't have seen it that way, and
- 57:52I say I wouldn't have. I didn't, but that was just But that
- 57:57was because I had a preference. I had a preference to look at things.
- 57:59And when I had a preference for, you know, things that were
- 58:02in the news or whatever got my attention, I had a preference for those
- 58:06things. And that's okay, that was my preference. If I said it
- 58:09wasn't, then that was that I'm saying I did something wrong. I never
- 58:12did anything wrong. I showed up in the day exactly. I showed up
- 58:15for myself. However I wanted to show up. I showed up and had
- 58:19this experience. It's it's very it can be very confusing when we're raised by
- 58:22our parents that are always telling us what to do, and then we're looking
- 58:25for that guidance or seeking that guidance, or maybe we're afraid to make that
- 58:29decision, and then we're we're looking for that guidance and it's being okay knowing
- 58:34that we have this internal guidance. Sometimes for me, it's grabbing my pendulum
- 58:37because sometimes I don't freaking know. I don't know, So I'll just like,
- 58:42okay, mutually ask a question. And if I can't neutrally ask the
- 58:45question, maybe I'll call you up and say, hey, Amy, get
- 58:46your pendulum. I don't know if you have a pendulum, but get your
- 58:50pendulum. I'm gonna ask a question and tell me what it says, because
- 58:52you would have zero attachment to that outcome. So and that's still coming from
- 58:57within me, but you know, leaning a little bit on the outside.
- 58:59Or maybe you already know the answer to some things and you we just don't
- 59:01want to make those decisions right then. And that's okay too. It's just
- 59:07being all right with wherever you're at. It doesn't wherever you're at, be
- 59:09okay with it. Don't condemn yourself, don't hold yourself in that darkness.
- 59:15See what happens. Flow to the videos that if animal babies laughing, giggling,
- 59:22playing, watch some rabbits playing together. They're freaking hilarious. Like their
- 59:27rabbits are hilarious. They really are, Like being awareness of that. Watch
- 59:30birds how they interact with each other. It's interesting watch your cats, you
- 59:34know, have these experiences. Since Freeman put a propane heater in for the
- 59:39cat house for the cats, they are smiling, like I can feel their
- 59:44smiles, I can feel their low I can there's a shift. It's like
- 59:46you made this home by doing that, and it made a big difference.
- 59:52So it's like it's not like it stayed seventy degrees all the time and make
- 59:54it down to fifty six, but I like it fifty six at night.
- 59:57Personally, that's me and I throw all my blame or in their case,
- 1:00:00they're fur, but they've got little homes and stuff to go into that are
- 1:00:02comfortable too. So it's but recognizing the flow because there's our bodies, our
- 1:00:08gauge, but so is everything around us. If I have an animal that's
- 1:00:13arguing with other animals in the house, then what the hell is going on
- 1:00:15there? Right? It's because they're they're an aspect of myself, So it's
- 1:00:20an am I fighting with myself with something? Is they're arguing going on the
- 1:00:22home which is not so then it goes internal. So it's like looking at
- 1:00:25other things from a different perspective, and it's being okay with all that stuff.
- 1:00:30It's just being okay. Even if there is difficulties or what you might
- 1:00:35call difficulties, they're really not there's something, there's a nugget there, there's
- 1:00:38something that's going to be gained, or you're just going to realize I don't
- 1:00:42need this to be in my experience anymore. I don't. It's I'm going
- 1:00:45to surrender, right, I'm going to surrender all my resistance. Nice.
- 1:00:52This is the first video of twenty twenty four. So twenty twenty five.
- 1:01:00A lot of stuff that has been presented in our conversation, and so do
- 1:01:12you have any final words? Is we're embarking on this twenty twenty four journey
- 1:01:17this year. I'm saying to enjoy the journey. Go look up was that
- 1:01:22we're all in a personal eight year Go check it out. Go see what
- 1:01:25resonates with you when you have that conversation. I've heard different perspectives on it.
- 1:01:29I've heard it. I've heard that this eight years for the people we're
- 1:01:32also going into if you look at them Chinese New Year, we're going into
- 1:01:37the Dragon. I forget if it was I can't remember if it was a
- 1:01:43wood or earth or metal? What was it wood? Okay, but it's
- 1:01:47like dragons are all about. Like you're talking wisdom, you're talking the same
- 1:01:52thing with ad It's like abundance and securities and just like magnificence. But everything
- 1:02:00could be that way always. It's just however we're perceiving or taking our time
- 1:02:05to what we're looking at. Right, if we're looking at and giving ourselves
- 1:02:07kudos, then you're gonna notice everything that everybody else is doing around you,
- 1:02:10and you're gonna give them kudos too. So it's not that you're just doing
- 1:02:14it for yourself. You're doing it for everybody. Let's enjoy this journey because
- 1:02:17you and I would say probably it's gonna be It's gonna be a lot of
- 1:02:22fun. So when you go to the when you think about going to like
- 1:02:25a a fair, or you think about going to any place to go rite
- 1:02:31a bunch of rides and have fun, that's how it's I feel like this
- 1:02:35is put your hands up in the air and scream while you're riding on this
- 1:02:38roller coaster and with a smile on your face, because it's gonna be fun,
- 1:02:42it's gonna be wild, it's gonna be wild and then my world is
- 1:02:45gonna be amazing. So every year just it's getting better and better and better
- 1:02:51and so and really it's the moments. It's not necessarily the year. It's
- 1:02:54the moments. The moments compound and get better and better and better, meaning
- 1:02:59they feel better, they feel good more often, more often, more often.
- 1:03:04And so it's the moments the compound and create the momentum, and the
- 1:03:07momentum just creates more and more and more because that's where I'm focused, and
- 1:03:13that's that's imperative. When you are wanting to make change, is what you're
- 1:03:21where's your focus. So, and I just want to put this out there
- 1:03:25that February tenth is the Chinese New Year, So when people are wondering,
- 1:03:31if you're wondering when that is, it is February tenth. The Chinese New
- 1:03:36Year begins the first new moon after the first full moon of the at the
- 1:03:42beginning of the year. So the date is different every year, so it's
- 1:03:46not like our our regular calendar here in the US. So anywhow, let's
- 1:03:55just it's going to be amazing no matter what, it's going to be amazing.
