Welcome to Nate's daily wager. I ain't picking winners, but I
• 0:10
am making wagers. Time to put my money where my
• 0:13
mouth is. This is Nate's daily wager for
• 0:21
  March 24th, 2025. And well, I was.
• 0:26
I was feeling all right. Thought, OK, it's going to be
• 0:29
close, but we'll get down here close to the end, do some back
• 0:33
and forths, we'll get some free throws in just like the night
• 0:37
  before. We'll be all right.
• 0:40
Nope, Saint Mary's coach just waved the white flag, gave up,
• 0:46
took away any chance for his team to win, said Nope, Kids,
• 0:51
this is the lesson you're learning today.
• 0:54
You're learning that when it's hard and you're down by just
• 0:56
two, just a little, you give up. And that right there screwed me
• 1:03
out of my over. So good job, coach, good job.
• 1:07
Not only did you teach kids how to, you know the best thing to
• 1:10
do is to quit and not fight till the end.
• 1:13
I lost my bet, which is really, really, if we're talking about
• 1:17
things, that's the saddest part of all this.
• 1:20
All right, tonight we still got some college hoops.
• 1:23
Now we're on the other side, though.
• 1:26
We've got the women's tournament and I'm looking at this USC
• 1:31
  game. They're hosting Mississippi
• 1:33
  State. They're 18 1/2 point favorites.
• 1:38
And much like the men's game so far, you know, there hasn't been
• 1:43
much madness and really in the women's game, there isn't really
• 1:47
much madness at all in these early rounds.
• 1:50
And US CS really good. In fact, I think they should
• 1:53
have been the number one seed overall and maybe they were the
• 1:56
one number one seed overall. Anyways, the important thing
• 1:58
here is they're going to take it to Mississippi State and 18 1/2
• 2:03
is not enough. That doesn't that's going to be
• 2:06
  20. No problem.
• 2:08
That's how I feel it the way I see it.
• 2:11
So I'm just going to lay the points.
• 2:13
I'm not going to watch the game because it starts at like 10:00
• 2:16
my time and I got to be to work at six.
• 2:18
So that's not going to happen. But I'll wake up, see if there's
• 2:22
money in my account and be all happy.
• 2:24
So we're going to take USC -18 1/2 against Mississippi State in
• 2:31
tonight's NCAA Women's College Basketball March Madness
• 2:38
championship action. It's anything better than that?
• 2:41
Found it. That's my pick and I'm sticking
• 2:42
to it. I think there's still much
• 2:45
  madness. That's basketball.
