- 0:00and good day my transitioning fat to less fat friends I hope everybody's fantastic I think I was addicted I the more I look at my past the more I really believe I was completely addicted to food I've had other addictions of course as we all develop over time maybe even addictions to bad people but the food addiction was something that caused me a lot of pain thereby me having some proverbial switch flipped and then me changing everything in my 50s believe it or not and here I am at 55 not that you're supposed to be watching this at oh my god I've never seen anything so gorgeous that's not the point point is is I was able to do something and I'm still doing that thing and keeping on the same track which I'm actually very impressed with how I've done so there's that I want to give you that guidance if at all possible but again this is entertainment purposes only hundred 35 pounds Dawn and yeah I think I was addicted actually when I look back there were times that I I joke about it but I heard somebody talking about this one of the people I follow online and they'll get into a drive through at a processed food place which is fast food processed food is fast food so in your brain the thing that helped me is when I realized what was processed food and understand that that shouldn't be the majority that should be none or the minority and I'm not good with minorities wow I don't mean it like that I'm not good with things that are supposed to be held in moderation so if a minority of the time are small amount of the time they say you should be eating this and it's okay to eat that for example I'll give you I'll give you something let's say alcohol I know that kind of it's a wall Connor gonna go so far well I could have said heroin or coke you know it's okay to moderate those things it works I don't know if that works I don't know if people can and those are you know illegal drugs let's move from that extreme down a little bit to food well foods necessary to survive got that so really you have to have food it's like being addicted to water well you have to have water too maybe you're a water snob maybe you're a food snob but maybe you have been conditioned to become addicted to food how is that possible from what I understood is apparently when people make a product and they see this product is being pretty good it sells pretty well makes people happy then somebody might come along and say well you know you could sell more of this product if you did this to it so I might change it a little bit and now we have a product well look at the iPhone from its very first conceptual design which was amazing which was probably very similar to the very first processed food maybe when sugar was turned white or flour came about those are probably pretty good times when this whole cycle kicked off and that was going from zero to that was probably amazing and when people weren't used to using iPhones now they have iPhones there's a whole another set a whole another a whole other set of things that kind of come about now people talk about don't have your iPhone your phone in your hand all the time I'm talking iPhone as it applies to that type of technology so even other phones you might not be an iPhone or an apple fan maybe your galaxy or an Android fan because you're more of a programmer type and I get that you know the more I I was on apple for a long time now I'm back to PC because I missed the nimbleness of the PC product but okay personal thing I still use apple so please don't don't shut me out because I'm saying I don't like apple cause I do but if you look at apple or the iPhone or the telephone the way that that came into play used to be they were bigger than a shoebox when I was a kid my dad brought one home from Dialectron Corporation just to show it and it was big but it was awesome and it was about the size of a shoebox larger shoebox and that was the the cell phone technology then and now you see what we have I have it on a watch it's insane that being the case food had that same kind of progression but a phone you can put it away mobile device put it away lock it in a drawer you might be able to I would say you could probably leave it there for a very long time food on the other hand you have to eat it and they found out the more attractively tasting they can make food the better they can make it taste the better that they'll be able to have people buy it in higher quantities back to that thing I was talking about with the the thing that I developed or built and then it sells pretty good but then people look at so we could do this to it oh my gosh and you make that little change and then it sells even more that was the progression from to all the other variations there of and then you have them taking cow meat and changing it modifying it adding things to it I've looked at packages of what would appear to be steak and they're the seal type not the stuff that has the Styrofoam underneath the plastic cover but the seal type where they might marinate it it's interesting if you look into that marinated O'connor well yeah there's stuff in there and if you're gonna honor this thing that you've been given and trust me folks I was fat for a majority of my life so far I've only been in the clear well I've only been in this shape couple years now and this shape has at the two year point I talk about two years I haven't been like this shape getting better for two years I was worse getting here cause I was so fat for so long and that was that hundred and thirty five pounds of fat and blubber I got rid of nd dd quite bit of muscle to tht process but looking at what's in those packages of meat it's not just meat and some salt and pepper it's meat salt and pepper believe it or not you'll find sugar in those packages you'll find all sorts of stuff well it doesn't taste like sugar I understand that vegetable seed oils are apparently very addictive they don't taste very good but the food that they fry in them becomes good tasting try to solve that one that that's a that's a shock to be sugar yeah you eat it it tastes fantastic yeah I understand why that would somebody would wanna go to that but then you know these vegetable seed oils which apparently don't have any vegetables in them at all these are all things I discovered over time maybe things that you can look into as well but these were all little discoveries including your own physician you might want to ask them what they think about what you should be eating or how you should be eating or how to moderate your preservative intake or your modified food intake anything that's been retouched that becomes something other than its original form so you want to see what that processing look like now if you take a the complete insert item name hamburger from a McDonald's restaurant and you look in there the Patty I don't know if that is 100% beef or what else could it be probably fillers of you know the old joke about hot dogs what they're made of lips beaks and I didn't even say it so I just left it but that's what they used to say hot dogs are made of I'm sure they just don't scrape everything off the floor at the butcher shop and turn it into a grind it to such a fine degree and then put some other stuff in there and then basically put a casing around and make hot dogs I don't think they do that but you know when you're growing up people talk but do you really know what they're putting into something that you're buying in a drive through maybe not that food didn't help me it would help me stay fat and it helped me continue that I could eat so much of that food I can take the same weight and steak that I had put into my body weighing down the food you know 12 tacos whatever it was two large French fries two large shakes you weigh all that out what pound 1/2 two pounds you put a pound and a half 2 pounds of filet Mignon in front of me or ribeye or porterhouse or whatever minus that chewy fat cause I just like the meat part I don't like eating the gristle not that that's a whole thing you need to look into as well whether that's good or bad for you but I'm talking steak pound and a half of that versus a pound and a half of Jack in the box it'd be hard for me to get through that pound and half a steak Jack in the box yeah I'd probably double that order that's the that's how that food is engineered and made that's why you're able to eat so much more of it it's not that you should be in fact you probably shouldn't be but shouldn't and wouldn't if those all worked then we would it would be paradise and probably incredibly boring because everybody would be doing things that they predict so me having been addicted once I had to figure out how it's gonna break the addictive cycle and the biggest part of that I'm always using these extremes the biggest part of that was me being able to forgive myself cause you're gonna mess this up if you're gonna go into fasting to be able to cut the fact that have on to least start wiggling away at it and people often ask me how long does it take a pound of body fat plus or minus about 30 five hundred calories I'm not a doctor not a biologist don't have all that education not even a nutritionist but that's from what I've gathered about 35 hundred calories okay I've seen statistics statistics you've heard this 22 calorie 25 calorie allotment or that's what people kind of burn every day so if right at two 25 calories let's say a human being that's what the kind of calories they burn every day and you see the calories on the food I I'm not gonna get into that because frankly I don't think I have the ability to get into what calories are but if you're burning a certain amount of whatever they're called twenty five hundred and a pound of this this body fat in here is 25 or thirty five hundred calories you would have to lose thirty five hundred calories a day you have to burn that much to be able to consume that much fat and those calories would have to all come from fat so you're not muscle as well muscle also has a chlor content also when you start to diet or not start when you're fasting your diety some doctors and medical professionals people that have done research say that you burn muscle other doctors I've heard red say that you don't as long as you're physically active with lifting resistance training what that threshold is I don't know but I'll tell you this if you're watching me and you're anywhere above 30 even before but especially 30 year olds are older I don't care if it's a couple 10 pound dumbbells wear yourself out in your house huge dumbbell presses dumbbell shrugs dumbbell curls tricep extensions do the dumbbell squats or just regular squats would be pretty intensive do push UPS and sit UPS just just get that movement and that activity because you should make that part of your world anyway and if you know I have had people in my life that have stood up from the couch taking a step and tripped on the edge of a piece of carpet or or just came became unbalanced fall break the hip fracture something and that is an end of life event it doesn't get better or it doesn't stay the same it just gets progressively worse at that point apply that to a lot of other things in life apply that to the way you respect yourself I don't want that type of end of life events so I'm going to do my best to put on or maintain as much muscle as possible as much muscle as possible let's unpack that just for a second do not think if you go to your doctor and they green light you skipping a few meals and you go to your doctor and they say okay you can lift a couple 10 pound dumbbells so if they give you that green light and you start understand you're gonna be very sore if you haven't lifted a weight or done a push up or a body weight it's going to be sore the soreness will go away in fact the soreness once the soreness goes away that's just about the time when you're going to make that a habit then that becomes a habit and then you just keep going now you probably have some that's a good habit you probably have bad habits you probably will start a diet or start to reduce your calories or start not to eat something did you know in nature there is no food that has fat and sugar combined I didn't know that anyway um back that's that's processing apparently we like that if we can eat something that's high in sugar high in fat combined that's also warm and lots of salt apparently we love that apparently our dopamine center goes completely berserk will eat that type of food and apparently that's very similar to what happens when you take Coke apparently it massages that dopamine release right up there with sugar and those are very addictive as is sugar so you can crawl down that one too looking at the way that I now see it it is very different than before find out what works for you work on the getting through that soreness if in fact you're gonna start with some kind of physical exercise this includes walking if you've been sedentary for any any amount of time it's gonna be a little hard but you can do it you can start and if your wheelchair bound or bed bound you know I've have watched people lay in bed with dumbbells and just do amazing stuff and you will if you're that fat you will soup probably start sucking wind when you're doing those movements because you're not just lifting these dumbbells you're lifting those large arms and those large shoulders that are filled with fat bulb visceral internal and also the massive the inches of subcutaneous fat sitting on the outside of of your digits in your arms your forearms and your tries and your bias and everything else lifting all of that fat when it's just grown from a sedentary point of view you being in bed and feeding yourself and in a particular point you will need to identify the people that are feeding you I mean feeding you literally feeding you who are your eating partners who are your Bologna bros well Bologna would be alright I guess if you're looking at a carb perspective but who are your bagel bros who are your donut sisters who are those people that you who you have around you where your fun has been over consumption find those people and you might have to have a heart to heart with those people and say listen it's been great but I really don't wanna spend any of the latter part of my life seeking doctors being in a hospital having people having to take care of me if I can help it the eating thing although you may be addicted addictions can be broken they just involve you caring enough about yourself and enough about making this body this this device that you have making it a priority in your world another video I hope some of these words have resonated if they have please send this this will be split into a whole Marriott or shorts you'll always be able to review this main video though and watch you be well it is August 8th, 2024 I will talk to you again soon with hopefully something that you'll find motivating and something that will help you understand more about my process and maybe in some small way that could contribute to yours if your doctor says it's okay I hope everybody's well I'm Connor Mcgyver Connor with honor oh I sell real estate I don't monetize this if you need somebody or know somebody that does I would like to be that person I'm in Santa Cruta California Greater Los Angeles well anywhere doesn't matter send them my way I'll be happy to help I hope you're well we'll talk to you soon and he had mentioned that people will be headed home from work I think cow meat even sugar in some cases 16 tacos 15 tacos you should be lifting weights muscle is an indicator of longevity to your heart's content and you can do some calisthenic exercise a particular type of food maybe maybe you cut that cane cocaine or heroin maybe not base jumping but you can do these other things
