- 1:28Dayna Roselli: Let's just start it off.
- 1:29Sean McAllister: There was a band-aid off.
- 1:31Dayna Roselli: Just rip it off.
- 1:31Dayna Roselli: The show was amazing.
- 1:34Dayna Roselli: The show was also part of the private grand opening party, so not everyone got to see the show.
- 1:41Dayna Roselli: It was not a ticketed show.
- 1:43Dayna Roselli: We did the red carpet, we attended the party and we went to the show and we kind of knew it was gonna happen.
- 1:48Dayna Roselli: But then he came out on stage and it was like, okay, done, deal few, because we've been talking about it and we assumed we were 99.9% sure.
- 1:58Sean McAllister: Well, and there were a lot of guests at the party who had no idea who the performer was going to be.
- 2:04Sean McAllister: You talked with someone who was like what we were gonna leave.
- 2:07Dayna Roselli: Yeah, this couple was right in front of me in line and they had seen, like, because there was some performances from Paul Anka and also some aerialists and some great singers and showgirls.
- 2:18Dayna Roselli: It was great.
- 2:18Dayna Roselli: But they were like, okay, well, I think we might head down to the nightclub now.
- 2:23Dayna Roselli: And I was like, well, you're not gonna stay for Justin Timberlake.
- 2:25Dayna Roselli: And they're like what, no?
- 2:28Dayna Roselli: And they were like, oh my God.
- 2:30Dayna Roselli: And this one woman was like honey to her husband, let's go back in.
- 2:34Dayna Roselli: Oh my God, get my drink order.
- 2:36Dayna Roselli: And so, yeah, I mean it was a legit surprise for many people.
- 2:40Sean McAllister: Yeah, and Justin Timberlake is just such a great performer.
- 2:44Sean McAllister: I mean the singing, the dancing, the horn section.
- 2:49Sean McAllister: The Tennessee kids has band up there with him.
- 2:51Sean McAllister: It was great, what a great show.
- 2:55Sean McAllister: Classic Justin Timberlake performance phenomenal.
- 2:59Dayna Roselli: Sing all the hits exactly like it.
- 3:01Dayna Roselli: You know, I felt like he didn't miss one that I was waiting for.
- 3:05Dayna Roselli: He talked to the audience.
- 3:08Dayna Roselli: I mean, man, he can move and he hit those high notes.
- 3:11Sean McAllister: He did.
- 3:12Dayna Roselli: I was looking at my friend Melissa going man, he can sing.
- 3:15Sean McAllister: He can sing.
- 3:16Dayna Roselli: And I had to say he's still got it because he's still young.
- 3:18Dayna Roselli: You know, justin's only like what?
- 3:20Dayna Roselli: 42?
- 3:21Dayna Roselli: .
- 3:21Sean McAllister: He's 40, he's younger than us.
- 3:22Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 3:22Dayna Roselli: So there you go.
- 3:24Dayna Roselli: He looked great, he sounded great and I'm like man, he can perform.
- 3:27Dayna Roselli: You know, it's interesting because we've posted a bunch of clips on social media and it's interesting, the mixed comments and I'm I had no idea that, like, justin Timberlake was not liked or at all.
- 3:42Dayna Roselli: I had no idea.
- 3:42Dayna Roselli: And I'm not saying we're getting tons of comments at people, but I'm like it's just this big controversy of like, well, he used to be better.
- 3:50Dayna Roselli: And I'm like you guys, are you looking at the same person?
- 3:53Dayna Roselli: Cause that was an incredible show.
- 3:55Sean McAllister: Yeah, I've thought the exact same thing, but there has been fallout from that show too.
- 4:01Sean McAllister: There was one moment then we were in there, we saw it happen where they had a kind of a runway that stuck out into the audience from the stage.
- 4:14Sean McAllister: He was walking out there, he kind of turned around, faced the band and as he was turning back around, before he started singing Cry Me A River, he said no disrespect and then went into Cry Me A River, which this is all connected to the Britney Spears memoir.
- 4:35Dayna Roselli: Okay, yeah, I don't get that whole thing and I'm like I would have never known that.
- 4:38Dayna Roselli: So people are like I was just like sing Crimea River, cause I love it Right.
- 4:42Sean McAllister: So people are like oh, he's dissing Britney.
- 4:44Dayna Roselli: Why is Crimea?
- 4:45Sean McAllister: River about that.
- 4:46Dayna Roselli: I don't get it.
- 4:47Sean McAllister: It's about their fallout after their breakup.
- 4:50Dayna Roselli: Okay, yeah, I didn't realize that.
- 4:52Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 4:52Sean McAllister: Yeah, I'm there for the beats, so there's a lot of stuff online if you want to do a deep dive into the whole controversy, but we just wanted to acknowledge that people are talking about that.
- 5:05Sean McAllister: It's making headlines.
- 5:07Sean McAllister: We're not going to go deep into it, but that happened.
- 5:12Sean McAllister: It was part of the show.
- 5:13Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 5:13Dayna Roselli: Something that a lot of people are talking about Well, outside of even Las Vegas, though, is this Instagram post that Justin made and his wife, jessica Beale, and it was a cute post.
- 5:26Sean McAllister: I thought it was adorable.
- 5:27Sean McAllister: I didn't even think anything controversial when I looked at it.
- 5:31Dayna Roselli: No, because our mind doesn't automatically go to stirring up drama and controversy Other people's do?
- 5:37Sean McAllister: I looked at it.
- 5:37Sean McAllister: I was like, oh, what a good husband he is.
- 5:40Dayna Roselli: Exactly.
- 5:40Dayna Roselli: He was carrying her shoes down the hallway at the end of the night, you know, and it was them from the back.
- 5:45Dayna Roselli: Anyway, people started to notice that it wasn't the fountain blue and that's where he performed.
- 5:51Dayna Roselli: He got paid a lot of money for the fountain blue show, apparently reportedly millions, and people felt like that's so odd, he's not staying at the fountain blue.
- 6:02Dayna Roselli: And then the wind took that photo and made their own post, and that's where it gets a bit tricky.
- 6:08Sean McAllister: Yeah, so this post that was up on the winds Instagram page.
- 6:11Sean McAllister: It was the same picture that Justin put out, but their caption said where everyone ends up only win.
- 6:21Sean McAllister: Yeah that was, and everyone was like oh, the shade of it all my gosh, you know, because he never referenced the win.
- 6:31Sean McAllister: No, he didn't.
- 6:33Dayna Roselli: You know, it was just a cute picture and he tagged his wife, and.
- 6:36Dayna Roselli: But here's where it gets even trickier.
- 6:39Dayna Roselli: The win also tagged Justin and.
- 6:42Dayna Roselli: Jessica and then later untagged them.
- 6:47Dayna Roselli: Then later the post came down.
- 6:53Sean McAllister: After all this brouhaha ensued, here's the thing.
- 6:57Dayna Roselli: I'm curious who's mad.
- 6:59Dayna Roselli: I'm just dying to know.
- 7:00Dayna Roselli: Is Justin mad?
- 7:02Dayna Roselli: Is Jessica mad?
- 7:03Dayna Roselli: Is the fountain blue mad?
- 7:05Dayna Roselli: At the win?
- 7:05Dayna Roselli: Is the winds higher.
- 7:07Dayna Roselli: Execs, like that wasn't cool.
- 7:08Dayna Roselli: Take that down.
- 7:09Dayna Roselli: What are you doing?
- 7:10Dayna Roselli: We want good partnerships.
- 7:11Dayna Roselli: I'm dying to know the inside.
- 7:13Sean McAllister: Well, maybe it's a.
- 7:15Sean McAllister: Maybe we can chalk it up to a neighborly dispute.
- 7:18Dayna Roselli: Yeah, a neighborly dispute, who knows?
- 7:22Sean McAllister: But bottom line, it's not unusual for entertainers to stay at a different property than where they perform.
- 7:31Sean McAllister: It happens all the time in Las Vegas.
- 7:34Sean McAllister: There could be a headliner at a certain property Caesar's Palace, for example and they may not be staying on property at Caesar's Palace.
- 7:46Dayna Roselli: Period Period.
- 7:48Dayna Roselli: And leading up to that, jessica Beale had a post that she was at NFR and we the background in that photo.
- 7:56Dayna Roselli: They're at the win, and this was a couple of days before.
- 7:58Sean McAllister: I mean.
- 7:59Dayna Roselli: Justin probably in town with the dancers rehearsing.
- 8:01Dayna Roselli: She's with her friend and they're going to NFR and fountain blue wasn't open yet.
- 8:07Sean McAllister: Right.
- 8:07Dayna Roselli: And so, yeah, could they have made a room for them?
- 8:09Dayna Roselli: I'm sure staff was staying on site, sure, but there's also, the restaurants aren't open, I don't know.
- 8:16Dayna Roselli: The room service is open, yet there's no spa.
- 8:18Dayna Roselli: So you're going to stay at a hotel that's operational, not saying again, this is all in my mind what could have been?
- 8:25Dayna Roselli: Also, when you're in town for a while, you don't want to move all your stuff.
- 8:31Sean McAllister: No, you're not going to stay for four nights over at win.
- 8:36Sean McAllister: Then pack all your bags, move over and for one night, no.
- 8:42Dayna Roselli: Plus, there's so many people getting it ready over there at the fountain balloon.
- 8:46Dayna Roselli: Who knows, maybe they wanted some privacy.
- 8:49Dayna Roselli: They're like well, if everyone thinks we're gonna stay there, we don't want, you know, there's so much that could be involved in that.
- 8:55Dayna Roselli: Regardless, like you said, you don't have to stay at the property.
- 8:58Dayna Roselli: He was paid to put on a show.
- 9:00Sean McAllister: He was paid to be their entertainer and he was.
- 9:02Sean McAllister: He was a fantastic entertainer.
- 9:05Dayna Roselli: He was.
- 9:05Sean McAllister: His concert added a lot to that grand opening.
- 9:09Sean McAllister: I think this controversy is dumb and it needs to go away because it's just stupid.
- 9:19Dayna Roselli: It's true, you know, I don't know, yeah, that was silly, but you know, I mean I must say interesting for the wind to post that, and I think they were trying to be funny.
- 9:29Dayna Roselli: I don't think it's sat well and we don't know.
- 9:33Dayna Roselli: I think what it comes down to is like did they get permission?
- 9:38Sean McAllister: Right.
- 9:39Dayna Roselli: And you know anybody can repost something and tag someone.
- 9:41Dayna Roselli: But Justin did post some great Insta stories and some great posts from the show.
- 9:47Dayna Roselli: Loved it.
- 9:47Dayna Roselli: I love the Insta story he posted with you know all the dancers getting pumped up before the show in the back, and you know he hasn't performed in a while, so it was great to see him on stage.
- 9:57Dayna Roselli: You know others saying gosh, you got paid so much for this gig and that too, it's like, why is it any of your business?
- 10:04Dayna Roselli: Like well, oh, I would have done that too for a million, it's like.
- 10:07Dayna Roselli: But you can't dance and you can't sing, so no, you couldn't have done that.
- 10:11Sean McAllister: Exactly, justin is talented.
- 10:12Dayna Roselli: Exactly.
- 10:13Dayna Roselli: He's worked hard through the years since he was a child to get to where he is today.
- 10:19Dayna Roselli: Like you can't do that, and that's the caliber you get.
- 10:24Dayna Roselli: So anyway, let's get to the fun stuff as well.
- 10:27Dayna Roselli: That was fun by the way, I don't mean that that wasn't, but like the controversies are kind of, but we had to talk about it.
- 10:33Sean McAllister: Yeah, so we're done with the controversy.
- 10:34Sean McAllister: There were a ton of other celebrities there in addition to Justin Timberlake.
- 10:38Sean McAllister: We saw Cher on the blue carpet.
- 10:41Sean McAllister: We saw Sylvester Stallone, kim Kardashian, kendall Jenner, eva Longoria I mean Lenny Kravitz.
- 10:49Sean McAllister: I talked to someone at the bar at the theater before Justin's show and she was like we were standing next to Bill Gates downstairs.
- 10:58Dayna Roselli: Yeah, there's video of him dancing to Justin Timberlake on TMZ.
- 11:02Sean McAllister: It's great, I love it and then Dana your guy the goat.
- 11:08Dayna Roselli: Oh yeah, tom Brady.
- 11:09Dayna Roselli: I was so excited.
- 11:10Dayna Roselli: I've always wanted to see Tom Brady in person and I finally got to see him in person.
- 11:14Dayna Roselli: Man, it's him too, boy.
- 11:17Dayna Roselli: The people on TikTok their comments A lot of people love the goat, they call him the greatest of all time and Tom Brady.
- 11:24Dayna Roselli: But there's other people who are just constantly complaining about certain things and whatever.
- 11:29Dayna Roselli: But one thing that rang true and consistent in the comments on TikTok and Reels and Facebook people were surprised to see how tall he actually is he's crazy tall?
- 11:43Dayna Roselli: You know why?
- 11:43Dayna Roselli: Because he's standing there in the carpet and all the people around him look so short, so people are like I had no idea that he was this tall.
- 11:51Dayna Roselli: So yeah, he's tall.
- 11:52Sean McAllister: See it's context.
- 11:54Sean McAllister: If he's out there with a whole bunch of other tall football players, you don't realize how tall they all are.
- 12:00Sean McAllister: It's true, You're next to a normal-sized person.
- 12:04Dayna Roselli: I know it's so true.
- 12:05Dayna Roselli: And then that iconic picture that was put out by the Fountain Blue of him and Tom Brady and Cher and Paul Anka all at the craft table.
- 12:14Dayna Roselli: Craft table and Justin throwing the dice.
- 12:17Dayna Roselli: Tom was towering over everyone so it's like yeah, he's really tall, but Tom just took a couple pictures and then moved on.
- 12:26Dayna Roselli: He's good friends with the CEO and chairman of Fountain Blue Development, Jeffrey
- 12:33Jeffery Soffer: Soffer.
- 12:34Dayna Roselli: And we actually talked to him coming up here in a little bit, so we'll have more from Jeffrey Also saw Keith Urban out at Valet when we went to put our equipment there after the carpet to go back into the party and I ran right over and I said, Keith, I've always wanted to meet you and we had a great chat about Las Vegas and New York City.
- 12:56Dayna Roselli: And he was saying that him and Nicole just went to see the Rockettes perform At Radio City and they love it.
- 13:03Dayna Roselli: It is part of the tradition, and blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 13:05Dayna Roselli: It was great and I was like, well, we have the Rockettes outside of the sphere now and he goes.
- 13:08Dayna Roselli: Oh, that's right.
- 13:08Dayna Roselli: And so we had a good little chat.
- 13:12Sean McAllister: And he was so kind.
- 13:13Sean McAllister: He is such a nice guy.
- 13:16Dayna Roselli: So nice, smells so good, by the way, and I am picky with, I like a good smelling man.
- 13:25Sean McAllister: Well, it was kind of funny.
- 13:26Sean McAllister: It was like there was nobody else out at valet other than Keith and us yeah.
- 13:33Dayna Roselli: So he was so nice and he had his guy take a bunch of pictures with me and I got my phone back and they were like seven to choose from.
- 13:40Dayna Roselli: I'm like this guy is great, he knows how to do it.
- 13:42Dayna Roselli: Yeah, so anyway, great to meet Keith Urban.
- 13:45Dayna Roselli: He did a pop-up performance right in the middle of the casino.
- 13:48Dayna Roselli: That was awesome.
- 13:49Dayna Roselli: So many surprises.
- 13:50Dayna Roselli: Throughout the night there were also some live singers and bands.
- 13:53Dayna Roselli: There was food and drink and a martini bar and all sorts of stuff.
- 13:58Dayna Roselli: People just really came out.
- 13:59Dayna Roselli: It was black tie and people were dressed to the nines.
- 14:02Dayna Roselli: I liked that too.
- 14:04Sean McAllister: Yeah, I mean it was a classy event and they did such a good job with it.
- 14:10Sean McAllister: We also talked with the man.
- 14:12Sean McAllister: I feel like I had a Peter Brady moment, right there.
- 14:14Jeffery Soffer: My voice just went crazy.
- 14:16Sean McAllister: We also spoke with the man behind Live Nightclub, a David Grootman, who founded Group Hospitality down in Miami.
- 14:24Sean McAllister: The nightclub at Fountain Blue announced their first resident DJ and he's a younger guy, not even 30 years old.
- 14:32Sean McAllister: His name is John Summit, but he is taking over the nightclub in EDM world Really popular and we talked to both of them on the blue carpet as everyone arrived to the party.
- 14:45You just talked to your new resident DJ.
- 14:47He's amazing.
- 14:48John Summit, yeah, wow.
- 14:49He was telling us he's bringing something fresh and new.
- 14:53Yeah, this guy is like I'm gonna bring you heat every time we have him for the next three years.
- 14:58Sean McAllister: So we're excited about this.
- 14:59Sean McAllister: What opportunity does it bring you to have the global base that Vegas draws in coming to your shows here at Fountain Blue?
- 15:06It's incredible because that opens me to brand new audiences and so on.
- 15:11That's trying to tour the world.
- 15:12I just did Asia for a month.
- 15:13Just did a whole summer in Ibiza.
- 15:15I think it's good to have that global appeal here.
- 15:18First impressions of the property I think it's beautiful.
- 15:22Dayna Roselli: I love him.
- 15:23Dayna Roselli: He is just fresh, excited to be here.
- 15:25Dayna Roselli: Young.
- 15:26Dayna Roselli: I just I wanna go to the nightclub and hear him do a set I'm excited about it.
- 15:30Sean McAllister: I mean, he brings the party and his eyes were like bright and wide open, looking around at everything and good for him, I know.
- 15:38Dayna Roselli: We also had some time with Jeffrey Sofer, the CEO and chairman of Fountain Blue Development, and I enjoyed this because we got to talk to him about this journey that he has been on and he has recognized it and everything.
- 15:50Dayna Roselli: He recognized it at the ribbon cutting.
- 15:52Dayna Roselli: He recognizes it when we chat with him.
- 15:55This has been a while, I feel like this morning at the ribbon cutting, you were a little emotional.
- 15:58I mean, this is a long time coming for you.
- 16:00I mean, how does it feel today to be here and seeing people enjoy it, not just you?
- 16:05Jeffery Soffer: I think it feels great.
- 16:06Jeffery Soffer: I mean it's just obviously it's been a long road.
- 16:09Jeffery Soffer: It's a obviously I think we built the nicest resort in the city.
- 16:13Jeffery Soffer: I think it's definitely gonna change the dynamics here and I think that you know it's just great to be a part of this whole thing.
- 16:19Jeffery Soffer: It's been brilliant.
- 16:21Jeffery Soffer: It's a long road.
- 16:22Jeffery Soffer: I mean these projects are not easy and they're complex and getting everything that's right in them is complicated, and to see it come alive is it feels really great.
- 16:32Sean McAllister: And I know we have a lot of famous faces here tonight to celebrate the grand opening.
- 16:37Sean McAllister: Is this something that we can expect regularly on an ongoing basis, a celeb hot spot.
- 16:42Jeffery Soffer: I think you'll see famous people, but you see them here regularly as well.
- 16:46Jeffery Soffer: It's Las Vegas, right?
- 16:47Jeffery Soffer: So they're always here.
- 16:48Jeffery Soffer: That's what we're happy to have them.
- 16:50And the one last thing I was gonna say was I mean it is.
- 16:53You know we have so many hotels.
- 16:54What makes this different?
- 16:56If you had for people listening, why come to the Fontenblu?
- 16:58I mean, I know it's iconic and I know it's amazing, but in your words, Well, I think it's obviously the design of it the high ceilings.
- 17:06Jeffery Soffer: Our food and beverage offerings are different.
- 17:08Jeffery Soffer: It's just a new resort, you know, in 2023, and there really hasn't been a resort built like this since, I believe since the win opened in 2005.
- 17:16Jeffery Soffer: So we're excited.
- 17:18Sean McAllister: Kind of a full circle moment right there for the podcast, because we started talking about that controversy with Wynn and Jeffrey Sofer right there gave props to the Wynn for being such an iconic luxury property on the Las Vegas Strip.
- 17:33Dayna Roselli: Yeah very interesting, so we'll see what happens there, but they are close.
- 17:37Dayna Roselli: One thing I do love I can tell you this is that the properties that are opening on the north end of the Strip are like bringing some new buzz and filling that space, and I just think it's great that now we have resorts world and the Wynn and the Sahara and the Fontenblu all there in that area and it's walkable from one to the other now.
- 17:58Sean McAllister: Yeah, it is, and we've needed that kind of life up at that end of the Strip for quite some time, so it is, it's incredible seeing that development happen.
- 18:09Sean McAllister: Also, on the Blue Carpet, we spoke with Michael Bay he is the film director known for the big budget action movies and we said you know this, you know how to do things big.
- 18:23Sean McAllister: What do you think about this place?
- 18:25Sean McAllister: Because they have definitely gone big.
- 18:28Dayna Roselli: What do you think of Vegas?
- 18:30I like.
- 18:30I mean I come a couple times a year.
- 18:32I shot movies here and shot around like Red.
- 18:36Sean McAllister: Rocks different places.
- 18:37Sean McAllister: So what are the chances Fontenblu shows up in one of your upcoming movies?
- 18:42I did the old Fontenblu on a movie I did in Miami.
- 18:45Dayna Roselli: Yeah, so interesting.
- 18:46Dayna Roselli: You know talking about the Fontenblu and other movies, and I mean it is an iconic spot in Miami.
- 18:52Dayna Roselli: Listen, I went there when I was a child.
- 18:53Dayna Roselli: We took a cruise and my parents said, when we're done with the cruise and we get off at the port in Florida, we're gonna stay at the Fontenblu for two days.
- 19:02Dayna Roselli: And they wanted to bring us because the pool they were known for, this big pool, and we stayed there and it was like so exciting when my parents had always wanted to stay there, and so we did it up and anyway.
- 19:13Dayna Roselli: So, yeah, it is iconic.
- 19:15Sean McAllister: Well, I could see that building being like the focus of a big budget film set in Las Vegas, can't you?
- 19:23Dayna Roselli: Yes, definitely.
- 19:24Dayna Roselli: Well, let's talk food, because when we did our tour last week, we kind of went into detail about all the different restaurants and we went in all of them and there are some that are first to market.
- 19:34Dayna Roselli: So it's a big deal.
- 19:34Dayna Roselli: There are a lot of firsts at the fountain blue.
- 19:37Sean McAllister: There are Gail Simmons, who you might know as a judge for a long time on the hit reality Competition show top chef.
- 19:45Sean McAllister: She was there as well.
- 19:47Sean McAllister: She's a food writer author.
- 19:48Sean McAllister: She was in town for the opening and excited to check out all of the new food and beverage destinations that fountain blue is bringing here to Las Vegas, and we got her thoughts on that.
- 20:01Gail Simmons: This is my first time back in Las Vegas in eight years.
- 20:04Gail Simmons: What I know, come on, so everything here feels new and exciting.
- 20:09Gail Simmons: It's amazing.
- 20:10Gail Simmons: I mean.
- 20:10Gail Simmons: I feel like it's been a minute since Vegas has had like such a A massive opening like this of restaurants, so many incredible restaurants around the country, from around the world, some really big firsts in America that are gonna be here for the first time.
- 20:27Gail Simmons: Chefs that I love and admire, just like a beautiful curation.
- 20:31Gail Simmons: I think of so many different cuisines, different concepts, but also some of the most kind of creative, innovative chefs that are like alive today.
- 20:41Gail Simmons: So I was so thrilled when I saw who's gonna be here and what they're doing.
- 20:46Sean McAllister: I mean eight years away from Vegas Gal, come back and see us soon.
- 20:52Dayna Roselli: I know, I always think it's weird when you hear something like that, but then I think like I have a lot of friends and family who have never been to Vegas, so it's not that we're just so used to it, right listen, a successful grand opening.
- 21:02Dayna Roselli: The party was lovely, the amount of celebrities at this opening was really unreal and just such Such an occasion.
- 21:13Dayna Roselli: It felt like a, like a plan of Hollywood opening, you know, like a it did.
- 21:18Sean McAllister: I mean, and it wasn't an opening that had a bunch of reality stars and like influencers these were like Legit, yeah, like superstar, caliber right celebrities.
- 21:30Dayna Roselli: I know, and I get think that's why I was, like, compared it to plan of Hollywood.
- 21:33Jeffery Soffer: You know, back in the day it was like such a big deal.
- 21:35Dayna Roselli: Plan of Hollywood remember.
- 21:36Dayna Roselli: It's like Sylvester Stallone, and he was there at the fountain blue, and then you know you're a Schwarzenegger, it was like all the A-list men showed up, so anyway, congratulations to the fountain blue.
- 21:48Dayna Roselli: I, by the way, I'm just thrilled that Something that is right around the corner for me is open and running and I will be there a lot, I think and, by the way, we will be going back.
- 22:00Sean McAllister: We're gonna be checking out the, the bars, restaurants, all that, so you'll probably hear more about it In upcoming episodes.
- 22:09Dayna Roselli: Some other notes this week that I just wanted to mention.
- 22:11Dayna Roselli: Bruno Mars and Carrie Underwood added new dates to their already lined up shows, so we'll look for that if you want to buy tickets.
- 22:20Dayna Roselli: Carrie added shows in October at resorts world and Bruno Mars Added early February dates at Park NGM and this is pretty smart, isn't it?
- 22:30Sean McAllister: It's very smart because early February Coincides with Super Bowl.
- 22:35Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I mean who doesn't want to go see Bruno Mars when you're in town for Super Bowl?
- 22:38Sean McAllister: week.
- 22:39Sean McAllister: Right, I mean Smart.
- 22:41Sean McAllister: That's just the allure of having Super Bowl in Las Vegas.
- 22:45Sean McAllister: Yeah not only do you have all the festivities that come with having an NFL championship game here, but you have everything that Las Vegas can throw in on top of it, so it's gonna be great.
- 22:57Dayna Roselli: I also makes me wonder Do you think Bruno Mars is gonna pop up in the halftime show with us?
- 23:01Dayna Roselli: Sure, cuz he said that he was gonna bring some people Maybe, because I wonder if Bruno's like hey, I've gotta be there anyway.
- 23:07Sean McAllister: I mean, I'd love that.
- 23:09Dayna Roselli: That could be cool, that would be incredible, that would be incredible.
- 23:11Dayna Roselli: All right, you ready, let's do some tips.
- 23:13Sean McAllister: Do it ["Bound to Blue"].
- 23:17Sean McAllister: Now that Bound to Blue is open and accepting guests accepting guests we wanted to let you know about arrival, getting there, parking, all that good stuff.
- 23:29Dayna Roselli: Yeah, parking is always a hot topic right.
- 23:31Dayna Roselli: Here's the good news Self-parking is free for four hours For Nevada residents, for hotel guests, for guests that visit the property.
- 23:39Dayna Roselli: So that's nice.
- 23:40Dayna Roselli: It's $20 after that.
- 23:43Sean McAllister: Beyond that, $20 a day.
- 23:44Sean McAllister: Beyond that, four hours of free parking.
- 23:48Dayna Roselli: Yeah, so for valet it's $35 to $40.
- 23:51Dayna Roselli: And when I say that it's $35 bucks like Monday through Thursday and then the other three days on the weekend, it's $40.
- 23:57Dayna Roselli: If you are a reward member, that changes.
- 24:01Dayna Roselli: There's some complimentary parking involved there.
- 24:04Dayna Roselli: It's let me see, because I know a lot of you will be reward members Silver Fountain Blue reward members will have a complimentary parking Sunday through Thursday and it will be complimentary daily for Gold Plus Fountain Blue rewards members and that's for valet.
- 24:22Sean McAllister: And if you are a Las Vegas resident heading over to Fountain Blue, we're told the best way to get in and out is off of Elvis Presley.
- 24:31Sean McAllister: That's the South entrance.
- 24:32Sean McAllister: There is an entrance for the self-parking garage off of Elvis Presley and there is also a separate valet area off of Elvis Presley, so keep that in mind.
- 24:45Sean McAllister: There's an entrance that brings you right inside to the casino.
- 24:47Dayna Roselli: Yeah, it'll be interesting to see.
- 24:49Dayna Roselli: It's not a very busy area, so now with the Fountain Blue open, I wonder how the traffic's gonna be there, but I think it's not as busy as being in the center of the strip, so it's gonna be nice.
- 24:59Dayna Roselli: And that side road, like you said, elvis Presley is gonna be a great way to get in and out of self-park or side valet.
- 25:05Dayna Roselli: They do recommend that you go there if you're just coming to visit, like going to restaurant, show, that kind of thing, because it's easier for everyone.
- 25:13Dayna Roselli: If you're checking in, there's a front valet for you.
- 25:16Dayna Roselli: They also do have a rental car Hertz rental car on site if you need to rent a car.
- 25:23Sean McAllister: Our second tip this week is Artet Museum.
- 25:26Sean McAllister: It's been open for a little bit, but we haven't had a chance to talk about it on the podcast yet.
- 25:32Dayna Roselli: I know we haven't and we did some work for them.
- 25:34Dayna Roselli: We have a company called Insightful Media.
- 25:35Dayna Roselli: We're always keeping busy.
- 25:37Dayna Roselli: We do lots of storytelling videos, we do interviews, we media train, we do all that stuff.
- 25:43Dayna Roselli: Event hosting.
- 25:44Dayna Roselli: Event hosting.
- 25:45Dayna Roselli: Yeah, if you need us to host your event, we're available.
- 25:47Dayna Roselli: But we did a project with the Artet Museum so we got to see it and experience it and talk to people as they were leaving.
- 25:55Dayna Roselli: We actually did some exit interviews with people and let me tell you, a lot of people that we talked to said it's really one of the best immersive museums in town, and I might have to agree.
- 26:05Sean McAllister: There are so many different rooms.
- 26:07Sean McAllister: It's on multiple levels.
- 26:09Sean McAllister: There are tons of different rooms that you go into, each with a different visual theme, but there are scents that are pumped into the room to enhance your experience in there too.
- 26:24Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and noise is the wrong word.
- 26:26Jeffery Soffer: Ambient sound.
- 26:27Dayna Roselli: Ambient, beautiful sounds, and you hear the ocean going when you walk into the ocean room, and it's spectacular.
- 26:35Dayna Roselli: Each room is unique and stunning.
- 26:38Dayna Roselli: Something that we love, too, is the one room and everyone really seemed to enjoy when you go and you draw, or color in an animal and then you put it, you hand it over and you actually see your drawing like the animal crawling along the side of the in the visual.
- 26:55Sean McAllister: It was like zebras and lions you color your animal.
- 26:58Sean McAllister: It gets put under this camera that captures your animal that you just drew and then puts it up on the wall and it's like your elephant is walking around the room or your monkey is hanging from a branch and animated Like it animates your still colored drawing.
- 27:16Sean McAllister: It really is super cool.
- 27:18Dayna Roselli: Yeah, the whole museum is gorgeous.
- 27:20Dayna Roselli: People really said that they about well, they enjoyed it, for about it took them, I should say, about like 90 minutes to get through.
- 27:26Dayna Roselli: As long as you take your time, in each room there's other people.
- 27:29Dayna Roselli: I mean you could rush through it if you wanted.
- 27:30Dayna Roselli: But I went there to drop off a hard drive and I noticed there was a line in the middle of the day.
- 27:36Dayna Roselli: It was actually after we went to the Durango Casino.
- 27:39Dayna Roselli: So what did we get out?
- 27:40Sean McAllister: Like one o'clock something like that it might have been even a minute later.
- 27:42Sean McAllister: Oh yeah, maybe a little later.
- 27:43Sean McAllister: Sorry, it was three yeah 3 pm.
- 27:45Dayna Roselli: There was a line and I was happy to see that.
- 27:47Dayna Roselli: So that means that people are enjoying it, they're reading the reviews, they're coming back.
- 27:51Dayna Roselli: We recommend it.
- 27:52Dayna Roselli: And, just so you know, it is located strip side, so it is next to the Cosmopolitan, in front of Aria and crystals, in that area, where you can also find Ocean Prime Restaurant.
- 28:04Sean McAllister: Yep the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard and Harmon, right on the corner there.
- 28:09Dayna Roselli: Yeah, so you can check them out online.
- 28:12Dayna Roselli: I think it's $50 for a pass.
- 28:14Dayna Roselli: I know they have specials every now and then.
- 28:16Dayna Roselli: It's the only one in the Western Hemisphere, so pretty cool.
- 28:19Sean McAllister: That does it.
- 28:20Sean McAllister: That was a jam-packed episode with Fountain Blue, with Carrie Underwood, bruno Mars, arte Museum.
- 28:26Sean McAllister: Thank you again to our sponsors, hot Works, infrared Fitness Studios and the Vegas Near Me app, available for all of your devices.
- 28:38Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and we also talked to a lot of people on the Blue Carpet.
- 28:40Dayna Roselli: We're gonna share some more interviews next week with some of our local casino owners.
- 28:46Dayna Roselli: We talked to Derek Stevens, who is there on the carpet with his wife he runs Circa downtown and many others, and we talked to Jonathan Jossel.
- 28:56Dayna Roselli: They were both there and it's interesting the camaraderie.
- 28:59Dayna Roselli: So we'll have that next week because it is the holiday as we approach it, we were gonna take some time off, but we wanna keep giving you some content and so we saved those interviews and we're gonna talk more about that next week on episode 199.
