- 0:28Good morning from the chicken coop.
- 0:30If you hear a really strange screeching chicken in the
- 0:33background, that would be my neighbor's new rooster who is
- 0:37trying to Crow and sounds like someone's killing, but he's just
- 0:41trying to grow. Anyway, today we are talking
- 0:46about the language of success. So what does that look like?
- 0:50What does that sound like when you're starting off and you're
- 0:52doing your goals? What's interesting is to listen
- 0:55to how you're talking about them, because everything that we
- 0:58do leaves clues in In our language, who we are as a person
- 1:03clues in our language, how we show up in life clues in our
- 1:07language. If you really want to master
- 1:10very quickly being great at whatever you do, it doesn't
- 1:14matter what you do, pay attention to the language in
- 1:18which you are speaking in your head out loud, pay attention to
- 1:23the language. So oftentimes what I noticed
- 1:25when someone comes and you know obviously we're a couple days
- 1:28into the week now. I've been talking Going to
- 1:30people about their goals, and one of the interesting things
- 1:34that shows up is how they're speaking about them.
- 1:38What they're saying about them, what they believe about, them
- 1:41always comes out in how they present it.
- 1:45So, I'll hear somebody say. Okay, so here's my list.
- 1:49I made my list of my goals for the year.
- 1:52Intentions, whatever. They're calling them.
- 1:53They've made their list. Okay, great.
- 1:55So we sit down start going through everything and they'll
- 1:59say yeah. You know, I'm I this is
- 2:02something that I really I really thought about this.
- 2:05I really want this, you know, I'm hopeful that I can make this
- 2:09happen now that may seem like it's simple and it's not that
- 2:13big of a deal, but we cannot hope our way to success.
- 2:16We simply cannot hope our way to success.
- 2:19It doesn't work that way because hope comes from viewing it as if
- 2:23it's not, there hope comes from viewing that you may not be able
- 2:28to make it happen. So there's always doubt so I
- 2:32want to give you a great metaphor to think about these
- 2:35little language blurbs that show up for you when you recognize
- 2:39them and how important this is. If I have a 50 gallon rain
- 2:44barrel at my house and I invite you over to sit on the porch and
- 2:48visit the farm and I say to you, would you like some fresh
- 2:51rainwater? It's amazing, you know, we
- 2:53filter it, it's unbelievable and I pour it for you.
- 2:57And I say, oh, by the way, with every 50 gallon, Rain barrel.
- 3:01I just put one drop of arsenic in it because it's no big deal.
- 3:04The government says that the body can handle that and it
- 3:07won't have anything happen. You would look at me, like, I
- 3:10was absolutely freaking insane and you would say, no, thank
- 3:13you. You wouldn't take it under any
- 3:16circumstances. You would.
- 3:17You wouldn't take it. You'd be like, no, I'm good.
- 3:19I'm all set. Thank you, thank you.
- 3:21Anyway, I'm not thirsty. You'd come up with some kind of
- 3:23an excuse and later you'd say to yourself.
- 3:25What is this chick trying to do? Why is she trying to give me
- 3:29arsenic? Water.
- 3:31Well, it's only one drop, it doesn't make a difference, but
- 3:33that's what language does without fail.
- 3:37The language goes in there and puts those little drops of
- 3:41Doubt, throughout your, you're being throughout your thought,
- 3:45process throughout everything. And before you know it you don't
- 3:48want to proceed on and you don't know why.
- 3:50Because you're sitting there and you're saying no, this is
- 3:52something I really really wanted, but you're not realizing
- 3:55that every day. You're poisoning.
- 3:57The rain barrel with those little tiny, Drops of thoughts
- 4:01just like that one drop of arsenic.
- 4:04Remember the arsenic in the water.
- 4:06You wouldn't drink the water so you've got to control the
- 4:09language. Nothing is more important than
- 4:12the language. And what you see do you want to
- 4:14be, you know, from one of my favorite lines from Seinfeld is
- 4:19when Elaine says she's talking about a book that she was
- 4:24reviewing and she let Kramer do the review.
- 4:26And he says in his review of it, he says, he was a cockeyed.
- 4:30Optimist and I always crack up laughing because I feel like
- 4:34that is such a great line. You want to be a cockeyed
- 4:37Optimist, you want to not take in anything from the outside
- 4:40world. I mean, do you want to be part
- 4:42of the mass mind because the mass mind is sick, the mass mind
- 4:46is all about fear and doubt and it's set up to manipulate us.
- 4:51It's set up to make us stay compliant with what everyone
- 4:56needs us to do. Don't break the mold.
- 4:59Do what we tell you to do. Take on more debt, go out there
- 5:03and work, sell yourself to a company for the golden
- 5:07handcuffs. Do all of those things and that
- 5:11doesn't always feel right to the soul for some of us.
- 5:14Yeah, we will be willing to do those things.
- 5:17I have done them in the past myself, but for some of us, hmm
- 5:21that doesn't feel right and you can't buy into that mass mind
- 5:26mentality, which comes with mass mind language if you really We
- 5:30want to break out and you really want to be different, you can do
- 5:34it, but you have to control the language, you have to control
- 5:37the beliefs, you have to control the emotions and nobody can do
- 5:41this for you. But you, I promise there is no
- 5:45way anybody can do it for you, but you, but it all starts with
- 5:49this one, little tiny drop, and the little tiny drops come in
- 5:53Clues from the language and that always Loops us back to what's
- 5:57really going on in our head, what we're really feeling.
- 5:59What we're really And and boom, you can nail it.
- 6:02So think about the language, you are speaking into with these
- 6:07goals. Think about the language you are
- 6:08using. When you talk about them, we
- 6:11don't hope our way to success. We know we're there we see us
- 6:16ourselves as they are. We still do the work, but we see
- 6:19it and we feel it and we envision it and that's what gets
- 6:23us there. But that first piece is, how are
- 6:24you speaking about it? So go figure it out and I will
- 6:28see you guys tomorrow. I hope you have a very Very
- 6:30blessed day. Very blessed day.
