- 1:00Speaker 3: So my Guy Chris Chris Christian Jones aka the Truth
- 1:05Speaker 3: twenty twenty four on Instagram. SO fifteen are you fifteen
- 1:09Speaker 3: years old, thirteen thirteen, So he's he's thirteen. He's he's
- 1:14Speaker 3: thirteen years old. He's a day trader, he's an investor,
- 1:17Speaker 3: he's a speaker, he's an author, he does options. Just
- 1:22Speaker 3: a dynamic, a dynamic dude. So Ian reached out to
- 1:26Speaker 3: us a few days ago and was like, you know,
- 1:28Speaker 3: I think he'd be a great guest for market.
- 1:29Speaker 4: Mondays and be like, sure, why not? So we want to.
- 1:32Speaker 4: We want to.
- 1:32Speaker 3: We want to highlight First of all, we want to
- 1:34Speaker 3: highlight you for a couple of different reasons. It's important
- 1:36Speaker 3: to support and encourage our entrepreneurs and our investors, like
- 1:40Speaker 3: you know, shout out to to Mikey, who's the number
- 1:44Speaker 3: one fifteen year old basketball player in the country. But
- 1:46Speaker 3: to me, you're just as important as somebody like that,
- 1:49Speaker 3: or Lebron James when he was out.
- 1:51Speaker 2: Yeah, he can impact thousands of kids.
- 1:54Speaker 5: Mikey can help his family, but you can help the
- 1:56Speaker 5: world and generations.
- 1:57Speaker 3: YEA, yeah, sure, So we want to we want to
- 1:59Speaker 3: highlight you and someelebrate you. There's no difference between you
- 2:02Speaker 3: and Lebron James when he was thirteen, number one playing
- 2:05Speaker 3: in the country. I look at you like the number
- 2:06Speaker 3: one prospect.
- 2:08Speaker 2: This is here Sports Illustrate, right.
- 2:11Speaker 3: So first and first and foremost, we want to just
- 2:13Speaker 3: you know, celebrate you. But then also we want to
- 2:15Speaker 3: we want to get some game from you. I want
- 2:17Speaker 3: to get some game from you too, because I know
- 2:18Speaker 3: that you you know, you're a very astute trader and investors.
- 2:22Speaker 3: So first and foremost, thank you. Thank you for joining
- 2:25Speaker 3: our platform. We appreciate it.
- 2:28Speaker 6: I appreciate being here.
- 2:29Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, for sure.
- 2:30Speaker 3: So I'll ask the first question. Then everybody can just
- 2:33Speaker 3: feel for you and Troy, So you you all right?
- 2:36Speaker 3: You you day trade options only? Or is stocks or yeah?
- 2:41Speaker 6: I do mostly options.
- 2:43Speaker 7: I do invest in stocks more so like for long term,
- 2:45Speaker 7: like most people, I do mostly options.
- 2:48Speaker 4: All right, I'm glad.
- 2:49Speaker 3: I'm glad because people have been asking for options, and
- 2:51Speaker 3: we're going to do an options show next week. We're
- 2:53Speaker 3: we're working on something special, but this would be a
- 2:57Speaker 3: good intro for that. So can you I was gonna
- 3:01Speaker 3: explain it, but I'd rather you can you just explain
- 3:03Speaker 3: for that? You know, most people aren't too familiar with options.
- 3:07Speaker 3: Can you just explain, like what options are as they
- 3:10Speaker 3: attained to like just investing in regular stocks.
- 3:13Speaker 6: Sure.
- 3:14Speaker 7: So as far as the main key differences between stocks
- 3:18Speaker 7: and options are this. So as far as stocks, we
- 3:21Speaker 7: know you actually own a share in the company, you
- 3:24Speaker 7: actually will own stock in the company, and y'a like
- 3:26Speaker 7: I said, you own sharing it. And the thing is
- 3:29Speaker 7: with stock, you can hold them well forever and you
- 3:31Speaker 7: can pretty much pass them down. And the main difference
- 3:34Speaker 7: between those and options is what options. You can't well
- 3:38Speaker 7: hold it and you don't actually own the stock. You
- 3:40Speaker 7: merely own the option in order to buy the stock.
- 3:44Speaker 7: And when we're owning options, we have these things called contracts. Now,
- 3:49Speaker 7: one contract is equal to one hundred shares of stock.
- 3:53Speaker 7: And also with this options as well, it's temporary online
- 3:57Speaker 7: stocks options are temporary. Now know the max amount you
- 4:01Speaker 7: can hold an option that I think about two years
- 4:04Speaker 7: because there are different types of trading, so you can
- 4:07Speaker 7: hold options for a long time. You can't do long
- 4:10Speaker 7: term trading with options. I've actually done that personally myself
- 4:14Speaker 7: just recently today every where I did a long term
- 4:16Speaker 7: contract with Tesla.
- 4:18Speaker 8: And I go about that.
- 4:20Speaker 2: I saw you post that, man.
- 4:22Speaker 7: Yeah, me and my mom we saw Tesla and we
- 4:25Speaker 7: got in about three hundred and then we made seventy
- 4:28Speaker 7: eight thousand dollars off that trade because Tesla it went
- 4:31Speaker 7: crazy today, but like, I don't know why it fell off,
- 4:34Speaker 7: but luckily we was able to get out before it
- 4:36Speaker 7: dipped down.
- 4:37Speaker 4: So don't let that go.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Yeah please, that was really modest.
- 4:40Speaker 7: Man.
- 4:41Speaker 2: That's a yearly salary, all right.
- 4:42Speaker 8: So yeah, real quick, one more time?
- 4:46Speaker 6: Hold are you thirteen?
- 4:48Speaker 8: So I first met my guy when we was speaking
- 4:51Speaker 8: with ET.
- 4:52Speaker 9: Shout out to Marquell, because Marquell was solid enough to
- 4:55Speaker 9: put me on the platform before anyone knew me, just
- 4:59Speaker 9: like y'all before you know, se y'all help me pop.
- 5:01Speaker 9: So I met him there and I was like, Yo,
- 5:04Speaker 9: this kid knows his stuff and he's and I didn't
- 5:08Speaker 9: know any of this when I was a kid, right,
- 5:10Speaker 9: So run that number again past what you hit. I
- 5:13Speaker 9: just want the people to hear.
- 5:16Speaker 6: Seventy eight dollars.
- 5:18Speaker 9: So the reason why I wanted him on is to show,
- 5:21Speaker 9: regardless of age, this is possible. We're the only culture
- 5:25Speaker 9: that this has been hidden from. He's young, right, so
- 5:31Speaker 9: if he can do it, you can do it too.
- 5:34Speaker 9: But no, I I'm gonna let you rock. I just
- 5:35Speaker 9: wanted to jump in and let that because like it
- 5:38Speaker 9: brings me so much joy because you've been doing this
- 5:40Speaker 9: is what you was a what eight and now you
- 5:42Speaker 9: was speaking at with eight or nine.
- 5:44Speaker 7: Yeah, So a brief well timeline is basically I actually
- 5:49Speaker 7: ended up writing my first book called The Win.
- 5:51Speaker 6: Within at eight years old.
- 5:54Speaker 8: Yep.
- 5:55Speaker 7: It's based off my story where I was getting bullied
- 5:57Speaker 7: by my teammates on the football field. It's about faith
- 5:59Speaker 7: family in football. And then this is at the time
- 6:02Speaker 7: we was living in Florida. So from there we actually
- 6:04Speaker 7: ended up leaving the country and going to Germany. And
- 6:08Speaker 7: while we were in Germany, that's where I ended up
- 6:10Speaker 7: wanting to say developing, but finding about or what investing is,
- 6:14Speaker 7: and finding about the stop or finding out about the
- 6:16Speaker 7: stock market, because I don't know if you guys remember,
- 6:19Speaker 7: there was a story about I think twenty thirteen, about
- 6:22Speaker 7: a fourteen year old who had made fifty.
- 6:24Speaker 6: Thousand dollars of buying Nike stock.
- 6:27Speaker 7: So, like anybody, I wanted to see how we did it,
- 6:30Speaker 7: and I began asking my mom she could teach me
- 6:32Speaker 7: how to invest in the stock market because I'm trying
- 6:34Speaker 7: to make that kind of money.
- 6:37Speaker 6: At the time, I was around nine years.
- 6:39Speaker 7: Old, so she didn't really take me seriously because she
- 6:42Speaker 7: thought I was just playing around just saying that, because well,
- 6:45Speaker 7: people changed their minds all the time. So I ended
- 6:49Speaker 7: up doing my own research and came back to her
- 6:52Speaker 7: and told her I wanted to open up my brokerage
- 6:54Speaker 7: account and again your broketus's accounts that coount used in
- 6:58Speaker 7: order to invest in. And when she heard that, then
- 7:01Speaker 7: she saw that was actually passionate and really wanted to
- 7:04Speaker 7: learn this skill. And at the time she did know
- 7:07Speaker 7: a little bit about investing, but she really didn't get
- 7:11Speaker 7: too deep into it herself. So she actually went out
- 7:14Speaker 7: and got her course, and that course was twenty five
- 7:17Speaker 7: thousand dollars because she knows not only the value of
- 7:20Speaker 7: investing in the stock market, but investing into yourself and
- 7:22Speaker 7: investing in your growth. So she went out and got
- 7:26Speaker 7: the course, and then initially we were taking it together,
- 7:29Speaker 7: but eight nine years old, no idea.
- 7:31Speaker 6: What that meant.
- 7:32Speaker 7: So she ended up learning from the course, and then
- 7:35Speaker 7: she came back and topped me. So I guess the
- 7:38Speaker 7: whole timeline would be I've been investing for four years
- 7:41Speaker 7: and I've been trading for three.
- 7:43Speaker 8: I love this.
- 7:44Speaker 9: Man, So that includings to your mom too, because your
- 7:48Speaker 9: mom is like with you running the business.
- 7:50Speaker 8: So this i'mber sawing to let you rock.
- 7:52Speaker 9: But parents are also like you see the joy in
- 7:55Speaker 9: his face from learning this, and like the joys in
- 7:58Speaker 9: our face, Like all of our kids should know this,
- 8:01Speaker 9: So do it together. And if your kids have an
- 8:03Speaker 9: interest even in gaming, let them do that because they
- 8:07Speaker 9: are more avenues now than ever to make money from
- 8:10Speaker 9: a whole bunch of industries that were not available to us.
- 8:12Speaker 3: Shot, go ahead, Yeah, so all right, so let's talk
- 8:15Speaker 3: about this this Tesla call that you had. So I'll
- 8:18Speaker 3: just try to give my my I was gonna say,
- 8:22Speaker 3: like thirteen year old explanation, but nah, I gotta give
- 8:26Speaker 3: my four year old explanation for what options are correct
- 8:29Speaker 3: me if I'm I just want everybody, I just want
- 8:31Speaker 3: everybody just to have an understanding. So like when you
- 8:33Speaker 3: buy stock, Let's say you want to buy Apple stock
- 8:38Speaker 3: right now, it's like at three eighty two, so we
- 8:40Speaker 3: know you just if you have three hundred and eighty
- 8:42Speaker 3: two dollars, you can buy one share right and then
- 8:44Speaker 3: you know if you buy two shares and it's two
- 8:46Speaker 3: times three eighty two. Everybody, I think that pretty much
- 8:48Speaker 3: understands that you have to be your own Apple. You
- 8:50Speaker 3: can have it for as long as you want, whenever
- 8:52Speaker 3: you sell it. If you sell it at you know,
- 8:54Speaker 3: seven hundred dollars, then you know you've almost you like
- 8:57Speaker 3: double your money pretty much, right, So that's easy to understand.
- 9:00Speaker 3: So with the options, it's pretty much like you're buying
- 9:02Speaker 3: something in the future. So it's like, Okay, I'm buying Apple.
- 9:07Speaker 3: Yeah exactly, I'm buying Apple for five hundred dollars in
- 9:13Speaker 3: January of twenty twenty two, right, And then you have
- 9:17Speaker 3: an ask and the bid price.
- 9:19Speaker 4: So the strike price, the strike price is five hundred dollars.
- 9:22Speaker 9: That's like that's the price you want to the future,
- 9:23Speaker 9: like the exit yeah yeah.
- 9:25Speaker 3: So and then the acts. So the ask is like
- 9:28Speaker 3: what you're actually buying those contracts for. So the ass
- 9:32Speaker 3: could be let's say, you know, fifty dollars hypothetically, right,
- 9:36Speaker 3: So the ask is a lot lower than the actual
- 9:38Speaker 3: price of the actual Well.
- 9:39Speaker 2: So it gets tricky, right, so this calls and puts
- 9:42Speaker 2: we got to.
- 9:43Speaker 3: Well, we say called so the ask, the ask is
- 9:46Speaker 3: like fifty dollars, right, so you're buying one hundred because
- 9:49Speaker 3: you got to buy one hundred contracts one hundred.
- 9:52Speaker 8: Let's you share it one contract.
- 9:54Speaker 2: Let's just five dollars.
- 9:55Speaker 3: That'll make it easier, all right, So now you buy,
- 9:58Speaker 3: you buy it at fifty. So now, if let's say
- 10:02Speaker 3: the price of apple stock goes from three eighty two
- 10:05Speaker 3: to four hundred, right, that's an eighteen dollars increase. Now,
- 10:09Speaker 3: if you have the regular stock, then that would have
- 10:11Speaker 3: been whatever percentage of eighteen dollars going up. But now
- 10:15Speaker 3: if you own the options contract and it's fifty dollars,
- 10:19Speaker 3: theoretically that fifty dollars could go to one hundred dollars.
- 10:23Speaker 3: So now you actually doubled your money. This is why
- 10:26Speaker 3: options are so appealing to people. And once you fully
- 10:29Speaker 3: understand it, it's like it's like stocks on steroids because
- 10:33Speaker 3: it's stuff to go back to.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Stop now it's.
- 10:35Speaker 3: Really difficult because it's like you could, but it's a
- 10:39Speaker 3: lot more volatile, so it can go up a lot fast.
- 10:43Speaker 2: Earners, what's up?
- 10:44Speaker 5: You ever walk into a small business and everything just
- 10:47Speaker 5: works like the checkout is fast, the receipts are digital,

- 13:04Speaker 3: Dealer, but it can also go down a lot faster
- 13:06Speaker 3: as well because you're not. You don't really care about
- 13:08Speaker 3: the price of the stock. You're more concerned about the
- 13:12Speaker 3: bid and the ass as did I did I do
- 13:15Speaker 3: a good job explaining that Christian?
- 13:18Speaker 6: You did a decent job.
- 13:23Speaker 8: I might cut that. That's funny, all right?
- 13:25Speaker 4: So can you can you?
- 13:26Speaker 2: Can you feel in?
- 13:27Speaker 4: Can you fill in what I left out?
- 13:28Speaker 2: Are you smarter than the seventh grader?
- 13:33Speaker 7: So as far as the strike price, you were well
- 13:35Speaker 7: kind of right at that. So the strike price you do,
- 13:37Speaker 7: that's the price you're actually buying it at. So let's
- 13:40Speaker 7: say I'm buying I'm gonna use it yours. So let's
- 13:43Speaker 7: say I'm buying Apple if they were at three eighty two.
- 13:45Speaker 7: So the thing is about options. You have an option chain,
- 13:49Speaker 7: and when you're looking at the option chain, you have
- 13:51Speaker 7: in the money and out the money. So let's say
- 13:53Speaker 7: I'm going to go out the money. Normally, when I
- 13:54Speaker 7: go out the money, that's means more. And so I'm
- 13:56Speaker 7: gonna do a swing trade. A swing trade is a
- 13:58Speaker 7: more long term trade and investment. Like I said, you
- 14:01Speaker 7: can go out to a maximum about two years. So
- 14:04Speaker 7: let's say I'm doing a swing trade and Apple's current
- 14:07Speaker 7: stock price or yeah, stock price is at three eighty two,
- 14:10Speaker 7: so I'm gonna put my strip price at let's say
- 14:13Speaker 7: four hundred, so and I'm doing a call, so I
- 14:15Speaker 7: know my not Microsoft Apple, was gonna hit at least
- 14:19Speaker 7: four hundred dollars. Because I will say this about stripe
- 14:21Speaker 7: prices as well, they don't necessarily have to hit your
- 14:25Speaker 7: price in order for you to make money. They just
- 14:27Speaker 7: have to go in general direction for you to be
- 14:29Speaker 7: able to make money. That's how you make money off
- 14:31Speaker 7: swite swing trades, and that is one of the ways
- 14:34Speaker 7: I actually made money, not only off that Tesla but
- 14:37Speaker 7: also whether it did hit my strike price. But I
- 14:40Speaker 7: did one off Microsoft hit that's a better example. So
- 14:42Speaker 7: I remember Microsoft was about at one thirty five at
- 14:46Speaker 7: the time, that was their stock price, and I put
- 14:48Speaker 7: my stripe price this was a swing trade, and I
- 14:50Speaker 7: put it at one ninety five, and I put it
- 14:51Speaker 7: about three cents a month saddle, so I put it
- 14:54Speaker 7: three system month out and I put my strip price
- 14:56Speaker 7: at one ninety five. And even though Microsoft never actually
- 14:59Speaker 7: hit that stripe as one until later after I sold
- 15:02Speaker 7: the contract, it was still doing in that direction, so
- 15:04Speaker 7: therefore I was making money.
- 15:07Speaker 2: The trend is your friend.
- 15:08Speaker 5: So the thing as long as it was going toward
- 15:10Speaker 5: that one, you're gonna make some money.
- 15:12Speaker 3: Thank you, Thank you for the further explanation. So all right,
- 15:16Speaker 3: can you talk about this the Tesla trade that you
- 15:18Speaker 3: made today? Can you kind of just walk us through that.
- 15:20Speaker 3: What's your what's your Instagram? Because a lot of people
- 15:22Speaker 3: on on YouTube? Can you just type into instagrament I
- 15:25Speaker 3: think it's the truth at twenty twenty.
- 15:27Speaker 6: Four, right, yeah, the truth twenty twenty four.
- 15:30Speaker 4: And Mark Mark said he likes you. We'll let you
- 15:32Speaker 4: know who Mark is.
- 15:33Speaker 6: What.
- 15:34Speaker 3: Yeah, Mark is a Mark is a fan of you.
- 15:37Speaker 3: So yeah, can you walk us through your your Tesla
- 15:39Speaker 3: trade that you made today?
- 15:41Speaker 6: Sure?
- 15:41Speaker 7: So that Tesla trade was actually also another swing trade
- 15:45Speaker 7: that I did back in March when Tesla was at
- 15:47Speaker 7: that three hundred dollars Mark Mark and I remember, and
- 15:51Speaker 7: I remember I was telling my clients about it, and
- 15:55Speaker 7: I I didn't necessarily tell them.
- 15:56Speaker 6: I was telling them what I was gonna do and
- 15:58Speaker 6: that might as well copy.
- 16:00Speaker 7: So I got in at about three hundred dollars, and
- 16:03Speaker 7: I remember after that I decided to just I was
- 16:05Speaker 7: gonna just sell it. After Tesla started move up in
- 16:08Speaker 7: that upper direction, but we decided not to so kind
- 16:12Speaker 7: of just left it alone, and little did we know,
- 16:14Speaker 7: a couple of months later it hit almost one hundred
- 16:17Speaker 7: thousand dollars. Because Tesla, as you know, has one of
- 16:21Speaker 7: those well, Tesla is like a wildcard to me, like
- 16:24Speaker 7: it's one of those companies. Market be up one day,
- 16:27Speaker 7: Tesla's going down one hundred dollars, market be down another day,
- 16:30Speaker 7: Tesla's moving up two hundred dollars, fall back, move up
- 16:33Speaker 7: another one hundred dollars, Like Tesla is a wildcard. And
- 16:36Speaker 7: knowing this, but that Tesla is a wildcard, but it
- 16:39Speaker 7: is a very consistent company. So knowing this, we decided
- 16:42Speaker 7: to do a swing trade on this and like I said,
- 16:45Speaker 7: a little month, well a couple of months later, here
- 16:47Speaker 7: we are with the seventy eight thousand dollars.
- 16:49Speaker 6: So that's kind of the whole process on how that worked.
- 16:52Speaker 4: How much money did you put in?
- 16:53Speaker 9: Originally two thousand, two thousand, we got a question, how
- 17:03Speaker 9: do you choose your strike price? And you're ask that
- 17:06Speaker 9: you're looking to get in. I saw that comment in
- 17:10Speaker 9: YouTube fast how.
- 17:12Speaker 6: Do I choose my strike price? And my ass correct?
- 17:14Speaker 8: Ye?
- 17:15Speaker 7: All right, So as far as how I choose my
- 17:17Speaker 7: stripe price. That really depends I'm trading for that day.
- 17:20Speaker 6: Because you have.
- 17:21Speaker 7: Four different trading styles you have, and I use well
- 17:25Speaker 7: pretty much all four. So you have the first training style,
- 17:28Speaker 7: which is called scalping. So scalping is more so well
- 17:32Speaker 7: like a scalp surgeon pinpoint movements and short little movements.
- 17:37Speaker 6: And those are like in and out. You you gotta
- 17:39Speaker 6: be really quick.
- 17:40Speaker 7: You do have to have patience as well with scalping,
- 17:42Speaker 7: So scalping is born, like I said, pinpoint movements, So
- 17:45Speaker 7: it depends if I'm doing scalping, I might go in
- 17:48Speaker 7: the money. However, you also have day trading, which is
- 17:51Speaker 7: similar but not the same as scalping. Day trading you can,
- 17:54Speaker 7: instead of those pinpoint movements where you're making like four
- 17:57Speaker 7: hundred dollars in two minutes, trading might make five thousand
- 18:02Speaker 7: dollars in about not even ten to twenty, but like
- 18:05Speaker 7: maybe an hour or two. So day trading, while you
- 18:07Speaker 7: might take a little longer, you don't necessarily hold any
- 18:12Speaker 7: positions at the end of the day, and then you
- 18:14Speaker 7: have position in swing trading. So swing trading is what
- 18:17Speaker 7: I did with the Tesla and the Microsoft and one
- 18:19Speaker 7: of my favorite strategies to use because it's basically passive income.
- 18:24Speaker 7: It is something I do teach you in my course
- 18:26Speaker 7: because I gus I said it's passive income. I remember
- 18:28Speaker 7: my mom she said swing trading here is actually her
- 18:31Speaker 7: favorite strategy as well, because it allows you to not
- 18:35Speaker 7: only free up your time, but also to make passive
- 18:38Speaker 7: income and make money on a consistent basis without having
- 18:41Speaker 7: to really put in much work, which is the beauty
- 18:43Speaker 7: of the stock market. And then you have position trade,
- 18:46Speaker 7: which goes back to the well maximum matter two years,
- 18:49Speaker 7: where you can pretty much do it like a stock
- 18:51Speaker 7: can just hold it for a long amount of time
- 18:53Speaker 7: and just allow it.
- 18:54Speaker 6: To continuously making money. But you have to be careful
- 18:58Speaker 6: on what companies you choose because you.
- 18:59Speaker 7: Will have out those companies that might dip during a
- 19:02Speaker 7: certain point because of whatever reason. So you do have
- 19:05Speaker 7: to pay attention to the news and you do have
- 19:07Speaker 7: to watch your positions as well. Like I said, you
- 19:09Speaker 7: got to pay attention, like this is not something you
- 19:11Speaker 7: can just what may one trade and just leave it
- 19:13Speaker 7: for forever.
- 19:15Speaker 9: Can you walk us through your risk to reward ratio?
- 19:17Speaker 9: So are you risking ten percent to make one hundred
- 19:21Speaker 9: or what race you are are you using when you're
- 19:23Speaker 9: setting up your swing trades.
- 19:25Speaker 6: So when I'm setting up on my swing trades, I typically.
- 19:29Speaker 7: Won't like I don't like to lose more than about
- 19:31Speaker 7: twenty five percent.
- 19:32Speaker 6: However I will lose.
- 19:34Speaker 7: I will be willing to risk twenty five percent if
- 19:38Speaker 7: I can make at least fifty percent.
- 19:40Speaker 5: Okay, Christian, I got a quick question. So are you
- 19:45Speaker 5: making puts as well? What's your strategy on that?
- 19:48Speaker 7: Yeah, use puts as well. I don't use them as much,
- 19:50Speaker 7: but I do use them. And I would say an
- 19:53Speaker 7: example of put to a big what was it? The
- 19:55Speaker 7: company six Flags? Y'all know that's a yeah, the amusement
- 19:59Speaker 7: part actually on publicly. So I remember one thing I
- 20:03Speaker 7: did with six Flags. I remember the first year, I
- 20:05Speaker 7: want to say, discovered them.
- 20:06Speaker 6: I saw them.
- 20:07Speaker 7: This was also during the summer, and six Flags at
- 20:10Speaker 7: the time, this was about two years ago.
- 20:11Speaker 6: Six Flags was.
- 20:12Speaker 7: Going up because I believe they came out with a
- 20:14Speaker 7: new Batman ride or something, and everybody what was doing
- 20:17Speaker 7: at six Flags, So they jumped about twenty dollars.
- 20:20Speaker 6: So I made money off of calls.
- 20:21Speaker 7: And then, of course, since since Flags is a seasonal company.
- 20:25Speaker 7: They began slowly dropping as the months went on August, September, October.
- 20:30Speaker 7: So knowing this and knowing this from the first year
- 20:33Speaker 7: because I didn't figure out that pattern before, but knowing
- 20:36Speaker 7: this next year in twenty nineteen, I did see this
- 20:39Speaker 7: pattern and saw that six Flags who was gonna have
- 20:42Speaker 7: that well great summer again and.
- 20:44Speaker 6: Then they were going to slowly drip down.
- 20:45Speaker 7: So I decided to do a swing tray put on
- 20:48Speaker 7: it and make some money that way.
- 20:49Speaker 3: So and put foot well YouTube YouTube if you could
- 20:52Speaker 3: take a minute and like this video was twenty three
- 20:55Speaker 3: hundred people. I think that's a record for us. But
- 20:58Speaker 3: if you don't, if you don't appreciate it, if you
- 21:01Speaker 3: don't like this video, it says a lot about your
- 21:03Speaker 3: character already, this one. Yeah, you gotta come on, you
- 21:07Speaker 3: gotta like it. You got That's the least you can
- 21:09Speaker 3: do is like it. So let me ask you, all right,
- 21:12Speaker 3: So put for anybody that's that's when you're you're saying
- 21:15Speaker 3: that the stock is going to go down, where calls
- 21:17Speaker 3: are saying that the stock is going to go up.
- 21:19Speaker 3: So if your put strategy more short term like long term,
- 21:23Speaker 3: like do you have a long term call strategy and
- 21:25Speaker 3: a short term put strategy, or how do you play
- 21:28Speaker 3: your puts versus calls? And and do you ever put
- 21:31Speaker 3: a call and a put on the same position, because
- 21:33Speaker 3: some people do that to hedge, like they'll put a
- 21:35Speaker 3: call on Apple, but then they'll take twenty five percent
- 21:38Speaker 3: and put a put on it also, so if they'll
- 21:41Speaker 3: make money either way, the market decides to go.
- 21:45Speaker 7: So as far as how I do my calls and puts,
- 21:48Speaker 7: I more so do my well, I do do kind
- 21:51Speaker 7: of both ways, Like as far as long term, I
- 21:53Speaker 7: might do calls occasionally, but for the most part, I
- 21:57Speaker 7: use well puts for the long term, why not even
- 22:00Speaker 7: long term, but more so midterm on those companies that
- 22:02Speaker 7: I know sucked.
- 22:03Speaker 6: On our trash and I'm getting at a good entry point.
- 22:06Speaker 7: And then I use calls more so consistently and more
- 22:09Speaker 7: so yeah for short term, especially on with scoupling the
- 22:12Speaker 7: day journey.
- 22:12Speaker 2: Christian really quick.
- 22:13Speaker 5: So are you making options on individual stocks.
- 22:17Speaker 2: Or do you do ETFs as well?
- 22:19Speaker 6: I do individual stocks.
