Monday, 15 June 2026 And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave— Matthew 20:27 “And whoever, if he wills in you to be first, let him be your slave.” (CG) In the previous verse, Jesus told the disciples that whoever desires to be great among them should be their attendant. In that He contrasted megas, great, with diakonos, attendant (a deacon). The word diakonos is likely derived from two words signifying through and dust.
