- 0:45www.worldwidesportsradio.com. There's been a lot of debating
- 0:50tonight a lot, and I love it it. It really brings out
- 0:53personality. It brings out who we are on this
- 0:55show and we're not fake. That's one thing I can say about
- 0:59us. We know what we're going to
- 1:01argue about and we know how to argue it, and we're not going to
- 1:04throw something out there just because it sticks.
- 1:06But I'd like to thank Scout Central and former Pelicans
- 1:11executive Dan Purcell for joining us.
- 1:12He was sensational. We really appreciate him.
- 1:14He always comes on, he always gives us good takes, and he's
- 1:17one of the more knowledgeable people when it comes to college
- 1:20basketball and future NBA superstars.
- 1:24And I'd like to thank Worldwide W for joining us and giving us
- 1:26his handicaps and his picks of the week.
- 1:30And now, ladies and gentlemen, we have another segment as we
- 1:34got to get into the March Madness check.
- 1:38Are we ready? What's going on right now in the
- 1:40Sweet 16? There's a couple of games in
- 1:42action. You guys were just talking about
- 1:44them in the Let's parlay segment.
- 1:46Houston, Illinois, just getting started.
- 1:48You know his back and forth just to get going.
- 1:50Not a lot of points. I don't think we have a lot of
- 1:52points coming in this game. It's 9 to 8 halfway through the
- 1:56first half, which is pretty crazy.
- 1:59So to me, I know what Houston wants to do and they want a low
- 2:03scoring game. I feel like that favors Houston.
- 2:05How do you feel about this matchup?
- 2:06Oh, I love it. And I think Houston is going to
- 2:09the Final four. They're in probably the easiest
- 2:11bracket. I I and now that Vanderbilt's
- 2:13out, I mean, Illinois might be the hardest game they have left.
- 2:17So if they knock off Illinois, I, I, I just, I think they're
- 2:21good. They're destined to go to the
- 2:22Final four now. I don't, I know they're not
- 2:25going to win. I know they're not going to beat
- 2:26anybody that they're matched up against in the Final four.
- 2:29But I think that they have a little bit more offense in the
- 2:34tournament than they had last year, which a lot of people
- 2:36didn't predict that they were, but they played off they're
- 2:40they've been pretty good offensively and I do think
- 2:43they're better than Illinois. That doesn't mean Illinois can't
- 2:46win this game, but I I just, there's just something about
- 2:49this team that Houston wants to get back in that Final Four and
- 2:53whoever they match up with, you know, they have an opportunity
- 2:57just get into the Final four. Anything could happen.
- 3:00So I, I, I definitely have for Houston winning this game.
- 3:04And I don't even think I think it's going to be like 5-6
- 3:06points. They'll they'll, they'll
- 3:08probably win by so and you're right, Fish, they want to keep
- 3:11it as low as they possibly can keep the game close, being that
- 3:14Houston's a great dominant defending team and they they're
- 3:17not what it what you call an offensive style of team.
- 3:20So I think this bodes well for Houston that the game is very
- 3:25low scoring. I was talking about how Illinois
- 3:26shoots the three a lot and they're always been since Brad
- 3:29Underwood has gotten there, one of the more potent offensive
- 3:31scheme in the country. They've tended to rotate around
- 3:33some several big, big men. They have good big men on this
- 3:36team as well. I'm curious how much they end up
- 3:38going inside in this match up a lot more, especially since like
- 3:40you're saying, fish, they're already struggling to shoot so
- 3:42far and struggling to shoot is definitely a benefit to Houston.
- 3:45Houston is the slower pace that Calvin Sampson wants to play
- 3:49definitely favors them. So it'll be up to Underwood to
- 3:51adjust the offensive efficiency. Houston has been good on display
- 3:54this tournament so far, 80 points in both their tournament
- 3:57games. Illinois defense though, has
- 3:58been very sharp so far as well. So which over performing unit
- 4:01comes through will be a big question.
- 4:02But yeah, I tend to favor Houston a little more, even
- 4:04though I know W was on Illinois that time.
- 4:07I don't know. I think, I think I I pick
- 4:09Houston to go for it, but I think that might be a upset
- 4:12tonight. I just feel some different about
- 4:14Illinois tonight. I think they might come out and
- 4:17not actually upset Houston, but then again, I would upset it
- 4:20Nebraska already. So that might have been the
- 4:22upset feeling I'm feeling. But I definitely got Houston
- 4:26going well to the Final Four, so I look forward to them putting
- 4:30it out overall just so my bracket can stay where it's at.
- 4:34But I would not be surprised if it I know it's came out of tap
- 4:37on this rule. Alright, let's talk about the
- 4:41other game that's going on right now.
- 4:43Arizona, Arkansas. We got Calipari, Tommy Lloyd,
- 4:47who Dan Purcell thought is a really good head coaching
- 4:51candidate for possibly UNC. She's.
- 4:54Interesting. I think they're getting a Big 12
- 4:55coach, yeah. Right now it's 23 to 15.
- 4:59Arizona up 8 early. The shooting percentage is 75%
- 5:04right now for Arizona, 100% from three.
- 5:08Buries has five points. So does Coopete.
- 5:11A cuff is getting taking all the shots.
- 5:14It's a very ball dominant game, just like Purcell was saying
- 5:18it's ISO ball. Mr. Acuff Junior, he's if you're
- 5:21great at it, it's great. I just don't think that style of
- 5:24play is gonna beat a really good college.
- 5:26Score in college ornament. What's the?
- 5:29Score right now it's a 10 point. It's now 20.
- 5:30It's a 10 point lead right now for Arizona halfway through the
- 5:341st. OK, and I Arizona is obviously
- 5:37going to be the favorites. They're they're they're good.
- 5:40They're very well oiled machine. They always are.
- 5:42They're very good offensively. They've played very well
- 5:45throughout the tournament. But Arkansas has been their
- 5:48hardest competition. Now we'll see how Arkansas
- 5:50remember they were saying that Arkansas has been tired since
- 5:54the winning the championship. We'll have to see as the game
- 5:57moves forward if Arkansas can keep them as as as close as they
- 6:02possibly can. So in Calipari's teams, the last
- 6:05five minutes of the game, they play hard and, and you know,
- 6:08Calipari is going to get out there, He's going to coach the
- 6:10hell out of that game. And this guy was a winner.
- 6:12This guy, everywhere he goes, he finds a way to win.
- 6:15This is his second Sweet 16 and he's been with Arkansas, what, 2
- 6:18years? It's been very impressive what
- 6:20Calipari has done, especially when you talk about Kentucky
- 6:24leaving Kentucky where they get all the top recruits.
- 6:26And then you go to Arkansas and, and, and how he's built this
- 6:29team and how he's built this program has been sensational.
- 6:32So I I'm not going to, I'm not going to say that Arkansas can't
- 6:35win this game just because they're down by 10 points.
- 6:38I expect this game to be a lot closer at the end of the game.
- 6:41So Arizona is a good team, man. There's no question.
- 6:43And I know you have them the winning championship.
- 6:45I have them losing against Purdue in the next round.
- 6:48So a lot, a lot. Instead, you know, in stake for
- 6:53both teams. And if Arkansas wins this game,
- 6:55they match up better, I think, against Purdue than Arizona
- 6:58does. Yeah, they definitely do.
- 6:59I think you look at the forward depth that Arkansas has,
- 7:02defensively speaking. I think that's the guys that
- 7:04have to step up offensively in this game because we've seen
- 7:07we're due to have the wing depth offensively a lot more this
- 7:10year. And that's the test in this game
- 7:12as well with Arizona with the three-point shooting prowess
- 7:14that they have with berries and if Bradley is on in this game,
- 7:18the three-point shooting prowess that they have with size and
- 7:22Arkansas, can they be get more than a cuff is going to be the
- 7:25question. A cuff right now has seven of
- 7:26the 15 points for Arkansas. They're going to need a lot more
- 7:28secondary scoring to make that work.
- 7:30And you mention being tired like these are two teams that both
- 7:32won their conference championship.
- 7:33So maybe the SEC one was longer and maybe more physical, but the
- 7:38Big 12 was a deeper 1. So it'll be similar tests both
- 7:40ways on that standpoint with the week off to be able to game plan
- 7:44for and like you say Calipari, can you make an adjustment to
- 7:46get 180 runner and something? Like that, he always, if the
- 7:49game is close and there's 5 minutes left, let's say if
- 7:51Arizona up by 5 points, I would bet on Kayla Perry getting this
- 7:56team back into the game and maybe pulling it out and winning
- 7:58it. If it's like 15 points, there's
- 8:01no chance. But I'm telling you, I've seen
- 8:04Calipari's teams, if they're down by 5 points, it doesn't
- 8:07matter where he coached Memphis, everywhere he's gone, Kentucky,
- 8:11he finds a way to pull out those close games.
- 8:14So I'm telling you, if there's 5 minutes left in the game and
- 8:17Arkansas is only down by 5, I bet on Arkansas.
- 8:20If you're betting on DraftKings and you have 5 minutes left to
- 8:22bet, I would bet on Arkansas so. I think Arkansas Tire, I think
- 8:27we saw it against High Point. And so at the end of the day, I
- 8:29think Arizona run away with this game.
- 8:31I think 10 points up now, it's just the beginning.
- 8:35I think it's going to be a long night.
- 8:37Well, your mouth to God's ears from my bracket, I'll tell you
- 8:40that. So let's get in look, I I I just
- 8:45think the Big 12 is the best conference this year and I like
- 8:50the teams that have already been eliminated like Kansas.
- 8:53They were like the 4th or the 5th best team in that conference
- 8:56and they would have been like a two or third second or third
- 8:59best team in the SECI think the SEC is not as good this year.
- 9:03Then I think this game is going to kind of show it as well.
- 9:06Let's talk about the big, well I guess Big 10 over here and the I
- 9:11can't believe I messed this up in their first sports minute.
- 9:13But Iowa and Nebraska, the battle of the people that grow
- 9:19the most corn in America, the Nebraska Hawkers and Iowa
- 9:23Hawkeyes and the 9 seeded Iowa Hawkeyes pull the upset with a
- 9:28big second-half, holding Nebraska to only 25 points in
- 9:32the second-half of that game. 7771 finish.
- 9:36Bennett Sturtz, 4th year senior, Big 10 Player of the year.
- 9:42If you remember he had that run as a freshman with Drake and him
- 9:45and his coach moved over to Iowa.
- 9:49He's phenomenal. Played all 40 minutes, 20
- 9:52points, 4 assists on 7 to 15 shooting for Nebraska.
- 9:58Sanford had a big game, 25 points, had six threes.
- 10:02It just it wasn't enough. It was a team that seemed to,
- 10:05you know, just struggle with being consistent offensively in
- 10:08the second-half of the season in my opinion.
- 10:10Congratulations to Nebraska to get into the Sweet 6, Sweet 16
- 10:14for the first time ever and doing what they did all season
- 10:18long, playing hard shooting and and and playing for their coach.
- 10:22It's a sensational story. So I want to give a shout out to
- 10:24Jabba and his Cornhuskers. They definitely well deserved
- 10:28Iowa. Iowa could go all the way.
- 10:32Iowa has the talent they can. They can absolutely go all the
- 10:35way. When you watch teams play as
- 10:38hard as they remember, they were down by 10 in this game at one
- 10:42point and coming back the way they did, they played hard
- 10:44defensively in the second-half. They have the ability, they have
- 10:48the size, they have the ability and they can shoot the ball.
- 10:50Why couldn't Iowa go all the way Now, they they got to go through
- 10:54a couple of teams before that happens, but they absolutely
- 10:57could and they could be the Cinderella team in this
- 10:59tournament. But we I knew this game was
- 11:02going to be close. I had, I had, I didn't have Iowa
- 11:06winning this game. But I.
- 11:08Did bracket bracket Buster again.
- 11:11No, I'm actually doing pretty damn well, so I don't know what
- 11:14you're talking about. So.
- 11:15Where you at now, second? Don't worry, I'm going to be at
- 11:18first before you know it, don't you?
- 11:20Worry you can't check it till Monday because in the middle of
- 11:23the week of the you know it's just going to be.
- 11:25Don't matter. I'll be at first by then, so it
- 11:28doesn't matter. I'm good as after St.
- 11:30John's loses against Duke, I I'm going to tell you, I told you so
- 11:34because that's what's going to happen and U Conn will win.
- 11:37They'll beat Michigan State and and there she blows as we have
- 11:41it, yeah. Fish, Fish I was going to
- 11:43mention with the go back to the Iowa game Bennett starts has
- 11:46been somebody that you get those kinds of transfers that have
- 11:48experience going over from other teams.
- 11:50A lot of times those are the biggest keys to victory.
- 11:53You saw that last year with Florida, with Elijah Martin, a
- 11:55guy that had Final Four experience with FAU and UConn.
- 11:59Obviously taking a lot of these veteran players in their time,
- 12:02that's the way it's going. And Iowa was always kind of that
- 12:04one identity type tape. It's kind of funny.
- 12:05They're like the opposite of their football team.
- 12:07They were all offense, no defense with their basketball
- 12:09team. They never went far in the
- 12:10tournament. They usually would win around
- 12:12and that was it. And now you're seeing a coach
- 12:14that has the experience with Drake, a kind of different
- 12:16identity that they brought over there.
- 12:18Nebraska was a very balanced overall team and you're right,
- 12:20they deserved a lot of credit for where they came back
- 12:21recovering. They've never been in the
- 12:23tournament. Yes, the second-half of the
- 12:25season they didn't look great and they looked like they were
- 12:27struggling in conference play a lot of the time.
- 12:29So maybe the sense of familiarity with Iowa definitely
- 12:31helped them be able to game plan for it.
- 12:33They should shot the three pretty well in this game.
- 12:35They didn't do much. Else Iowa.
- 12:36Iowa was always here. Iowa always makes the
- 12:40tournament. They usually in the tournament
- 12:42every single year. This team has never been in the
- 12:45tournament. They've never gone as far as the
- 12:47Sweet 16. That by itself sells you to
- 12:50understand how great of a season they had.
- 12:53So I, I, I give a shout out to Nebraska.
- 12:56The fact that they went as far as they did, they played as hard
- 12:59as they did, gives at least shows you that this program
- 13:03could win and get into the tournament every single year if
- 13:06they put the right guys in place.
- 13:07So I think it's a great story. And they got a good coach.
- 13:11And you know, I when you have the good coach, it helps.
- 13:13Speaking of good coaches, Sean Miller almost did it today.
- 13:17Errol, he, he really almost did. And I don't I don't know what
- 13:21happened, what they do when it gets to tournament time on his
- 13:24teams, but he seemed in his entire career to figure it out.
- 13:28They were only 21 and 15 this season.
- 13:30Texas Longhorns 11 seeded Texas Longhorns had to win the play in
- 13:35game. They lost on a last second tip
- 13:38in to Purdue 7977 Gave them everything they could handle.
- 13:45It was Kauffman Wren at the buzzer.
- 13:48He's got buzzer beater. You're going to get to see
- 13:49replays of it. We'll probably show it on
- 13:51Monday's show. 20 points for Kauffman Wren on 8 of 10
- 13:55shooting, 4 for four on from the line, eight boards.
- 13:58The guy is a beast down the line.
- 14:01Five guys in double figures for Purdue.
- 14:06They just keep coming with guys even if you throw everything at
- 14:09him in the kitchen sink. And it looks like they did train
- 14:12on mark for Texas out of nowhere. 29 points, 11 of 15,
- 14:15five of seven from three. You know, it's just, you see
- 14:18teams like Texas and you're like, I don't get it.
- 14:21This coach has something magical that he knows how to motivate
- 14:25this time of the year. You got to explain it to me,
- 14:27'cause I, I don't have any other other explanation that it's not
- 14:31the coach. Championship teams find a way to
- 14:33win. They find a way to win.
- 14:35I'm not. Purdue hasn't won a championship
- 14:37yet, but they've been there. They lost against UConn.
- 14:40But this is an organization. This is a program that has a
- 14:43very good coach. They play hard for the coach.
- 14:45They're very well built. I mean, they're big, they're
- 14:48strong. Their point guard is one of the
- 14:50best passers in in the world right now.
- 14:52As far as college basketball, he is and they've done all the
- 14:56things that they needed to do to win the game.
- 14:58Now they cannot do this against Arizona if Arizona is matched up
- 15:01against them and they they cannot give a no name player or
- 15:04a player that's not a star on that roster 29 points and expect
- 15:08to win the game. They got to keep it low and they
- 15:10got to play defense. That's what Purdue teams do.
- 15:12They keep the game close and at the end of the game, they have
- 15:15enough talent to find a way to close in.
- 15:17But it it to me, I'm not surprised that a team like that
- 15:23in Texas found a way to keep the game close.
- 15:25Purdue is a team that just finds a way to win those games all
- 15:29year round. And they won.
- 15:31I think they lost like 7 or 8 games this year.
- 15:33The games that they lost, all the games were close.
- 15:36They were all close. So they're not a team that gets
- 15:39beaten down. They're the ones that make sure
- 15:43that they're doing all the right things at the tail end of the
- 15:46game. And that's why I like Purdue in
- 15:47this tournament, because if the game is close, it doesn't matter
- 15:50who they're matched up with. Arkansas, Arizona.
- 15:53I'm betting on them because they'll find a way to get it
- 15:56done. Yeah, they this is something
- 15:57that they haven't had in other years, even with a lot a lot of
- 16:00other top players from Carson Edwards to Jaden Ivy to Zach
- 16:03Edie, they haven't had the depth scoring, the balance scoring
- 16:06that you saw in this kind of game.
- 16:07Like having 5 double digit scores is not the Purdue way.
- 16:11And a lot of these other teams that have won championships are
- 16:13gone in the Final Four, have some level of balance scoring.
- 16:15It was always all right, let's hope this guy could carry you
- 16:17and get enough supporting cast with their defense.
- 16:19And they didn't even have their defense in this game.
- 16:20But this was a team that was ahead of schedule last year,
- 16:22made the Sweet 16 and lost to Houston on that tip in, that
- 16:25inbound tip in. And now they get a little magic
- 16:28of their own to happen. Give some credit to Texas.
- 16:29This was a great, good offense performance.
- 16:32Like you said, Sean Miller kind of recreating his own coaching
- 16:35style because he was up and down at Xavier when he was there and
- 16:38they never really had a great tournament identity.
- 16:39They had another team that was all offense, no defense, but got
- 16:42Texas. Made some good plays in this
- 16:43game, got some spread out scoring.
- 16:45Just wasn't enough for Purdue's really balanced scoring in this.
- 16:47Game, But Purdue cannot do that against Arizona.
- 16:49Not defensively, no. They definitely.
- 16:51Cannot do that against Arizona. Because they they don't want to
- 16:53get involved in a fashion faster pace shootout as much as
- 16:56painters team this year is faster pace than their usual
- 16:59team. That's still not his Forte as
- 17:01much compared to. Arizona.
- 17:02I'm more worried about Arkansas. I am, too.
- 17:04If Arkansas wins this game, I'm more worried about them than I
- 17:09am of Arizona. Because Arkansas, they're a
- 17:10greedy team. And John Calipari likes those
- 17:13greedy games. Yeah, but they're going to run
- 17:15out of gas. I don't think that's going to
- 17:16happen. And then I thought something
- 17:19Arizona just got too much firepower and Purdue is a good
- 17:23good, you know, play hard team. I think every year we get those
- 17:27one or two teams that just, you know, out will they they
- 17:31opponents to get to deep into the bracket.
- 17:34And so, yeah, I don't I see Purdue falling short again this
- 17:38year, but they are they are a good organization.
- 17:41And then I think also Arizona just and those business as well.
- 17:44But yeah. If they if they beat, if they
- 17:48beat Arizona or Arkansas, you can book it.
- 17:50Purdue is winning the national championship.
- 17:52I'm telling you right now, if they beat Arkansas, Arizona and
- 17:56they get into the Final Four, there's no way in hell this team
- 17:59is going to lose the championship.
- 18:00Yeah, I still like UConn if they do beat them too.
- 18:03Well, Uconn's on the other side. They would have to meet in the
- 18:06championship. And yeah, that's what you said,
- 18:07the championship. I have UConn and Purdue in the
- 18:10championship, the national championship, and I would love
- 18:13to see that again. I would.
- 18:14Love, you were saying just make it to the church.
- 18:15Yeah, I thought you said I was going to win it.
- 18:17No Purdue, no Purdue is going to win.
- 18:19I I think that they go through Arkansas or Arizona, I think
- 18:24it's a sure thing they're going to win the national championship
- 18:26because whoever they matched up against Michigan, which I have
- 18:28Michigan in them, and even if they beat Michigan and they go
- 18:32against UConn or anybody on the other side, Houston or UConn, I
- 18:37just think that this year is there's just something special
- 18:40about this team. That's what I think.
- 18:42And by the way, the last time somebody broke the the assist
- 18:46record was Bobby Hurley. And if you remember when they
- 18:50did that, Duke won the national championship.
- 18:52So I'm just saying I mean. You don't have to worry about
- 18:56that neither. OK, I remember I'm not listening
- 18:58when I when I tell you you. Don't need to have Duke in the
- 19:01championship, do you? No, I don't.
- 19:02No, I don't. He said he's.
- 19:04Going to lose you, right? What are you talking about?
- 19:07I said the last time Braden Smith broke Bobby Hurley's
- 19:11record, the last time Duke won the champ, when Duke won the
- 19:15champ, when he broke that record, Bobby Hurley broke that
- 19:17record. Duke won the national
- 19:18championship. Braden Smith, he just broke
- 19:21Bobby Hurley's record. And that's why I think it's just
- 19:24to me, I, I believe that this is Purdue's year.
- 19:27I think they win the National. Champions.
- 19:28So this is Purdue. Year before we we wrap this up,
- 19:33I just wanted to again bring attention to Sean Miller.
- 19:36What do you think? His he's, he's coached 718 games
- 19:41over since 2004. So in the last 22 years, what do
- 19:46you think? How many wins do you think he
- 19:48has out of 7/18? He's got to have at least 600.
- 19:52It's not no 600. I mean he's like the best coach
- 19:54of all time. Like 9 out of. 718.
- 19:57Games So what what do you think is winning percentages it's.
- 19:59Gotta be over 506. 100 / 600. Yeah, it's seven O 8.
- 20:04He's a seven O 8 coach, which means that that's like rarefied
- 20:08air if you can be over 700. Yeah, but he doesn't win the big
- 20:11game. He doesn't.
- 20:11Win Well, you're right, but I think what you're seeing is he I
- 20:16think some guys just it takes time and that was one of them I
- 20:20was watching on the back while you guys were doing a lot of the
- 20:22interview. They were beating their ass most
- 20:25of the game like they were taking it to him and they had
- 20:28the lead and then they lost it in the last couple of minutes
- 20:30and then they came back and tied it up again.
- 20:32That's a gutsy, gutsy performance and the fact that
- 20:36they won three games in this tournament, including the first
- 20:38four-game is really impressive. It you got to give him credit.
- 20:42Now they're just going to devote more nil money and not give it
- 20:44all the arch manic. I mean, he couldn't win the big
- 20:47game in Arizona and now the the irony is maybe Arizona is the
- 20:51big game team now. He got in trouble in Arizona.
- 20:55OK, We all know what happened. We all know what he what he did
- 20:59under the table, OK. And we can, we can, we can reach
- 21:03out to DeAndre Ayton, ask him what he was doing.
- 21:05OK, that aside, he is, I think it's obvious he's an excellent.
- 21:09Coach. No, he's a great coach.
- 21:10No, by far. He's a great coach.
- 21:13So all right, now that John left Darrell?
- 21:16All right, All right. Ladies and gentlemen, we call
- 21:19this Dial it Up. We interrupt this regularly.
- 21:21Scheduled hot mix to bring your important news.
- 21:23Though we got a big broadcast to do here.
- 21:26We're about to dial it all it up.
- 21:30All right, everybody, welcome back to Dial IT Up, everyone's
- 21:37favorite Lightning round sports segment.
- 21:40We're going to give Errol five stories he hasn't heard or seen
- 21:43yet and he's going to dial up a take and one of us is going to
- 21:46go back and forth with them. Here we go.
- 21:48First one up in Dial It Up and let's just get the camera
- 21:53working. There it is.
- 21:54The MB Pai, don't know if you saw this, slams the Bucks for
- 21:59benching Giannis. Giannis wants to play.
- 22:03He says he's healthy. The Bucks are trying to tank.
- 22:08And Adam Silver has already said next year this ain't happening
- 22:12anymore. But there's going to be
- 22:14punishments. I'm very curious what those
- 22:16punishments are going to be. But the Bucks seemingly are
- 22:20letting this relationship go as South as possible because they
- 22:25don't. They're clearly not keeping him
- 22:28after this year. Errol dial it.
- 22:31Up Well, it's pretty simple. If you're a Yanis fan and you
- 22:34want to see him win as many games at his final year with the
- 22:38Milwaukee Bucks, that's what you want.
- 22:39They're trying to protect Giannis.
- 22:41Giannis just coming off a major injury.
- 22:43He has been on and off all season long on his ankle and his
- 22:46leg. He wants they want to make sure
- 22:48that he's healthy so they can trade him in the offseason and
- 22:50not lose out on getting as much back for him.
- 22:54So they're trying to keep him healthy, then they're trying to
- 22:56get a high draft pick. So I'm not surprised this is
- 22:59going on. And by the way, Adam Silver has
- 23:02has created this problem. He's the one that has allowed
- 23:05this to happen. If he stepped in and done
- 23:07something about it over the last couple of years, this wouldn't
- 23:10be going on. This has been going on for a lot
- 23:13longer than a year. This has been going on for years
- 23:17and they're getting away with it.
- 23:18So now all of a sudden, Adam Silver's stepping in because he
- 23:21knows that half these teams are trying to get these top draft
- 23:24picks because they know that there are there are tons of
- 23:26superstars in this this class like you heard Dan Purcell.
- 23:29It's not surprising to me. And now, now all of a sudden,
- 23:33Adam Silver or the LGA or LeBron James reach out to Adam and
- 23:37said, listen, you need to clean this up, man, or I'm going to
- 23:39fire your ass. That's what I think.
- 23:41Yeah, it looks like there's special treatment on tanking,
- 23:43like we talked about a few weeks ago with the NBA tracking down
- 23:46on the Utah Jazz and the Indiana Pacers.
- 23:48Now they're going to track down on the Milwaukee Bucks, but not
- 23:50some of these other teams doing it like you're picking and
- 23:52choosing like which teams to target.
- 23:54And it just happened to be that the top five player in the
- 23:56league that's going to be traded and the number one commodity of
- 23:59the offseasons is the model of it.
- 24:00Yeah, OK. He's not going OKC, by the way.
- 24:03I'm telling you right now, he's not going, OK?
- 24:05Why, why? Why wouldn't he?
- 24:07Because he doesn't want to go to OKC.
- 24:10But he can't go where he wants to go.
- 24:11That's the biggest issue. In the NBA.
- 24:14He have really have a set spot where he wants to.
- 24:16Listen to me, Listen to me. There's one.
- 24:17Reason why he wanted to go to Knicks.
- 24:19There's a reason. There's a reason why I'm saying
- 24:21this. In the NBA, the players get to
- 24:24choose where they want to go. And if they don't, they're going
- 24:27to sit out. They're going to say, you know
- 24:28what? I'm not playing for that team.
- 24:30You're going to have to trade me in the NBA.
- 24:32This is the only sport that they have this problem.
- 24:34And I'm telling you right now, Giannis wants to go to the
- 24:36Knicks. He's going to the Knicks.
- 24:38I'm telling you right now, and I'm Dan Parcells comes back on
- 24:41the show. I'm gonna say I told you so.
- 24:43Well, you get rid of cat. See what's gonna happen?
- 24:46It would be. Mitch wouldn't.
- 24:47It would be Mitch and OG and Anobi.
- 24:50They're. Gonna make the salary.
- 24:51Make the salaries. Just dose it just.
- 24:53And then you would give it would probably be like picks, like 3
- 24:56picks picks but. He still got one year on his
- 24:59country though, right? Yes, he's getting traded.
- 25:01Two years, Two years, Well, you would assume there's going to be
- 25:04some kind of extension. Right.
- 25:06So they don't want more than just those two players.
- 25:08I don't know. I, I, it's, it's really more a
- 25:10leverage thing because the leverage, he has the no trade
- 25:13clause because he's been in the league for so long.
- 25:14So he can kind of force his way where he wants.
- 25:17So they might not get the best deal.
- 25:18I mean, OKC can offer the best deal, but I don't know who's
- 25:21trying to make OKC better right now.
- 25:23He could have won, I mean. He could have won.
- 25:25Who really wants Giannis at? The Knicks?
- 25:28The Knicks, they didn't want to give up.
- 25:30See, the problem was in the offseason, he, Giannis told,
- 25:34told the organization to reach out to the Knicks.
- 25:36That's where he wants to play. They wanted OG Ananobi that last
- 25:41year. But I think that now sitting
- 25:43back and knowing where they are, it's leverage.
- 25:46Like like Fish was saying, and now Giannis is going to leverage
- 25:50his way out of there. He's going to say, listen, I
- 25:53want to go here and this is all I want to go.
- 25:55And if you don't train me here, whoever you train me to, I'm
- 25:58going to force my way out of there too.
- 25:59So they're not even going to want you.
- 26:01They're not even going to want me so.
- 26:04Milwaukee wouldn't care about that.
- 26:05Could they still get what they? Because he has a no trade
- 26:08clause, so he's not gonna wanna go there.
- 26:11Oh well, he just tell you he just sit back.
- 26:12So it's gonna play out this offseason, 'cause this like the
- 26:16way they're handling it, clearly the Bucks at this point, he's
- 26:19gone. I mean, I that's what it looks
- 26:21like to me. And it's not a Kawinki dink that
- 26:23he bought a condo in Brooklyn recently, so.
- 26:26Just I'll say go into the Nets that makes.
- 26:28No, no, no, no, no, no. He his.
- 26:30It has nothing to do with the Nets.
- 26:32He. Does he want to really go to
- 26:33such a crap franchise? I mean, he don't want to, but he
- 26:36wants the New York work it. So he gets the New York work it
- 26:39and he just doesn't get. I mean, they would have the at,
- 26:42they definitely would have the assets.
- 26:44But let's, let's keep it rolling.
- 26:46We got more stories here. We're going to go from
- 26:48basketball to baseball. I think I mentioned this to QA
- 26:51little earlier. There was a Rangers AA pitcher
- 26:55right at the last game of the preseason.
- 26:57He was on the mound looked like he was going to get pulled.
- 27:00Manager Skip Schumacher. He was, you know, one of these
- 27:03guys that people really think highly of and that was kind of
- 27:07disrespected in his first stop. He gathers the infielders
- 27:10together and it became a very big viral moment when everywhere
- 27:14all over the Internet and instead of taking him out, he
- 27:18announced that he made the team never pitched above AA before.
- 27:22He's one of their, you know, relievers on the on the staff
- 27:25and became this heart warming warming moment made me think,
- 27:28you know, do you have anything like that that you remember, you
- 27:31know, maybe some friends who made the team or, you know, in
- 27:34college or got on scholarship, maybe yourself included, kind of
- 27:39like a real heart warming story that got lots of clicks.
- 27:44First of all, when you work so hard to make the major leagues
- 27:49and and move up, you have to go from single A to AA to AAA
- 27:53before you even step on a Major League field.
- 27:56And to do that, you got to play at a high level.
- 27:58And for a guy that probably has been in the minor leagues for
- 28:01years to get a chance to move up and, and and get announced by
- 28:06his manager and stop everything for all the teams to to cheer
- 28:10and to be excited for him. That's a great story.
- 28:12That's something that you like to see baseball teams do.
- 28:16It doesn't matter if it's AAA, AA or single A.
- 28:18The fact is, is that you work your ass off Q knows you, you
- 28:22got to go through high school ball to college ball and then
- 28:25you got to get drafted and then or you're undrafted and then you
- 28:28got to make the team. If you're undrafted.
- 28:30It's never a sure thing when you go into the NFL.
- 28:33So to see somebody grow and as a player and, and everybody loves
- 28:37him and and stands up for him, that's something to watch and
- 28:39something that cheer for. But I have seen stuff like that
- 28:42happen over the years. There are guys Michael Jordan,
- 28:46Michael Jordan never made his high school team in as a
- 28:48freshman. And what did he do at the NBA at
- 28:51at the Hall of Fame? He invited the guy that took his
- 28:54job took took his spot on the varsity team and he said, hey,
- 28:59coach, you know, you know the guy that you chose.
- 29:01I'm Michael Jordan. He's there.
- 29:02So it's fun to see when you see the growth of a player and how
- 29:06everybody's behind him. So it is a great story.
- 29:08Yeah, I've seen it numerous of times.
- 29:10I've seen guys get rewarded scholarships.
- 29:13I've seen also guys that was on the practice squad get moved up
- 29:17and it's and it's a game changer.
- 29:19It's life changing. These guys, you know, put all
- 29:21the work in and, and those and then those situations, you just
- 29:25don't know. They never know like where the
- 29:27opportunity is going to come or if they're going to make it to
- 29:30the big leagues and make it to the make it a victory roster or
- 29:34make it to the Major League Baseball in this scenario.
- 29:38So I would say, yeah, it's, it's, it's a wholesome moment,
- 29:42rightfully so, deserved to go viral and shout out to him for
- 29:46making it. Yeah, we'll see if he's any
- 29:48good. Texas looks like they're going
- 29:49to be a better team this year. All right, let's move it on.
- 29:52Next story coming on up. We're going to go.
- 29:55I believe we're going to go back to the NBA.
- 29:58Oh, we're definitely going back to the NBA.
- 30:00It's our boy Paul George coming back from his 25 game suspension
- 30:06for PEDs, which he came back and gave an interview very candidly,
- 30:10blaming his mental health for taking the steroid, saying that
- 30:15his body really couldn't do the things that he used to do and he
- 30:19got depressed about it, so he had to take steroids.
- 30:22No, well, I'll get read you the real quote.
- 30:23The most difficult thing is when your body isn't where you know
- 30:26it needs to be or where it once was.
- 30:28That leads and bleeds into the mental side of things, knowing
- 30:32that you're limited. But for me, I feel good.
- 30:34My body's feeling great mentally.
- 30:36I know I'm capable of doing what I can do and what I've been able
- 30:39to on the court three years. He's only averaging 16 points a
- 30:44game this season in 27 games and did not look any good before the
- 30:48suspension. Errol Interesting one with this
- 30:52guy. So I have a lot of respect for
- 30:56Paul George. This guy snapped his leg playing
- 30:59for Team USAA lot of people thought his career was over.
- 31:01He came back, he made himself a lot of money hit for him and his
- 31:05family. He's jumped ship.
- 31:06How many teams after that? And now he's with the 76ers.
- 31:09They overpaid him. It seems like it's not working
- 31:12over there. And then he denied taking
- 31:15steroids. After he got caught, he denied
- 31:17it. Now all of a sudden, he says
- 31:18it's because of mental health issues.
- 31:20Come on, man, that's that's ridiculous.
- 31:23The fact here is Paul, if you think you're done, then retire.
- 31:28If you think you're no good anymore, then retire for you to
- 31:32take steroids and and claim that you did steroids for your mental
- 31:35issues, mental health issues. It only tells me one thing.
- 31:38It tells me you're not behind the game anymore.
- 31:42You're not the player that you once was.
- 31:44So if you're not, just walk away from the game.
- 31:47Don't don't do things and make excuses after the fact that you
- 31:50do it. So I I think it's just
- 31:52absolutely pathetic. That's a terrible excuse to say
- 31:55that it's mental health issues. You say you're fine, you're,
- 31:58you're saying you're healthy. How is it mental health that's
- 32:01bothering you or, or has made you turn into this?
- 32:03So it doesn't make any sense. That's a terrible take.
- 32:06Yeah, I I think it's, I mean, yeah, he should have just
- 32:09admitted that he took it from the beginning.
- 32:12But a lot of times with medicines and, and these
- 32:15different things that these guys are using in their body, like
- 32:17it's not that it's an intentional, like I'm just
- 32:21blatantly taking steroids to enhance my performance and
- 32:23things of that nature. It can literally be something
- 32:26made in the same lab and it's a dusk out on it or some form of
- 32:31something happened in the in the factory or whatever.
- 32:33And then it comes back testing positive in the in the drug
- 32:37test. But he's been ashamed of himself
- 32:39since, you know, he tore his leg up and he hasn't been able to be
- 32:42the same player since then. So and then getting on and he
- 32:46had like a podcast and it was doing that on by being podcast
- 32:49and not performing on the court. So I do I think he has mental
- 32:53health issues? Absolutely.
- 32:55But do I think that's the cause for him to be taking the
- 32:57stairwell? It's not.
- 32:59Q We all have mental health issues, all of us.
- 33:02No, I, I, I really don't think that though, Like this is a new
- 33:06trend that we're, we're claiming where it's like, hey, if I have
- 33:09any hard time in life or something struggling, I'm
- 33:12uncomfortable in the situation. Let me just blame mental health.
- 33:15Like that's not reality. Like there's some people who are
- 33:18really suffering and really going through stuff, but then
- 33:21it's just people who can't deal with the social pressures then
- 33:24and having to grind it out and go through some different things
- 33:27in life or whatever life throws at them.
- 33:29And they blame mental health for that.
- 33:30So I don't think I think mental health is very small percentage
- 33:34of of the population versus the the new nuance that everybody's
- 33:40using to get out of the situation or hard terms or
- 33:43having to actually work. Podcast PED is back with the
- 33:47Sixers. We'll see more of him in a
- 33:50little bit. All right, let's get to what I
- 33:54would say a superstitious, really bad thing if I was a
- 33:59superstitious person. And I'm curious what you think
- 34:02about this, Carol, because I think the Mets may be jinxed
- 34:05already. It has nothing to do with the
- 34:10play on the field. The Mets national anthem singer
- 34:15was Christopher Jackson. You may know him as George
- 34:18Washington from Hamilton. The play.
- 34:20And also, I think he was in the new Sex and the City reboot that
- 34:24I was forced to watch with my wife.
- 34:25And he was the original Simba in The Lion King on Broadway, which
- 34:31I saw in middle school. He's like a legendary type of
- 34:34Broadway guy. He's doing the national anthem
- 34:38and forgets the words. This was George Washington,
- 34:42Errol. He forgets the words to the
- 34:45national anthem. He had to remember all those
- 34:47songs for Hamilton, but he forgets the words at Citi Field.
- 34:54I don't like that. If I'm a Mets fan, I, I I don't
- 34:57know, man. I'm superstitious.
- 34:59I want to hear what you got. First of all, it it makes no
- 35:04sense how you've listened to the national anthem a million times.
- 35:07I know the national anthem and it's embedded into my head.
- 35:10I've heard it so many times. How do you forget the words?
- 35:13I mean, I could forget a lot of different things.
- 35:16What I ate the next day or what I've ate yesterday or the day
- 35:20before, or how many times I took a dump the last couple of days,
- 35:24but I can never forget the national anthem.
- 35:27I can never forget that. How do you go up in front of the
- 35:29fans? You've danced, you've sang in
- 35:32front of so many people and forget the one thing everybody
- 35:36always remembers? It's it's absolutely appalling.
- 35:39Honestly, I would never invite him to sing the national anthem
- 35:42again. It's embarrassing.
- 35:45Absolutely embarrassing. Things happen.
- 35:47Your mind is not in the right place, unfortunately, but you
- 35:51can't forget the national anthem I.
- 35:53Guarantee. I guarantee you, Q, no matter
- 35:56how crazy your life is, you can never forget the words of the
- 36:00national anthem. Hey Fish, You do have to
- 36:02remember, though, that the Star Spangled Banner did not exist in
- 36:05the time of George Washington Allen.
- 36:07Has an. Aaron Birth.
- 36:09The Star Spangled Banner. Came out, it came out later and
- 36:12I did see the play. He is a good singer,
- 36:13Christopher. It's like.
- 36:14Forgetting the Pledge of Allegiance.
- 36:15Yeah. They don't do it no more.
- 36:18It's not in schools. You don't have to stick in the
- 36:20world. It's not they don't do it no
- 36:21more. So you go there with all the
- 36:24confidence you can have all the confidence in the world.
- 36:26And then you get up there and you like, I got this and it's no
- 36:29brainer. And then you get up there and
- 36:31you freeze up and you forget to where it was opening day.
- 36:33It was a big name. Come on, you're going.
- 36:35To see. You've sang the national anthem
- 36:38a ton of time and you sing other songs and you forget that.
- 36:42I can tell you the Pledge of Allegiance.
- 36:44I don't care if they don't do it in the schools anymore.
- 36:46It's embedded in my head. It's embedded into my head.
- 36:50How do you forget that? It's ridiculous and you're an
- 36:53American. Please.
- 36:55Embarrassing. I, I tend to, I tend to favor
- 36:57Burr and the King in that, in that show in Hamilton when I did
- 37:00go to see them, but. I've never seen Hamilton.
- 37:03DJ he should he? Did have a good he did have a
- 37:05good character with with Washington and definitely was a
- 37:08good singer. Jefferson was the world was more
- 37:10annoying. But I'm not a.
- 37:10Theatre type. He presented it very well.
- 37:13It looks like he was staying well for a while that just had a
- 37:14cafe all of a sudden. But like I said, fish.
- 37:17They existed pre pre Star Spangled Banner times.
- 37:21I am not a theatre person. I, I just not if, if Brittany
- 37:24asked me to go to a theater, I'll go.
- 37:26I mean, I just. Would you go to a non musical
- 37:30theater show though? Yeah, if it wasn't a musical.
- 37:33I would. I like concerts.
- 37:35I like doing those things. I just, sometimes it just gets
- 37:39boring and I'll just sit in the chair and I'll fall asleep and
- 37:41like, what am I watching here? You know, I just watching a
- 37:44bunch of people talk to each other and, and pretend that
- 37:47they're acting when they're really bad at it.
- 37:49Please, I, I, I don't have any interest in doing that.
- 37:52Thank. You all right?
- 37:53I saved the story for the end that I wanted to talk about.
- 37:57Is it about my dump? I'm.
- 37:58Just saying no. Well, it's a real dump.
- 38:01It's about the guy who was the second best wide receiver in all
- 38:03the football last year, Puka Nakua.
- 38:05Mr. Puka Nakua, who was sued in his most Dracula state of mind
- 38:14for biting a woman on the shoulder.
- 38:18A civil lawsuit filed in Los Angeles by Plaintiff Madison
- 38:23Adiabi includes several serious claims regarding the Ku's
- 38:28behavior during a group outing in Century City.
- 38:33She alleges that while in a sprinter, Van Nikua forcibly bit
- 38:37her on the left shoulder, leaving a visible teeth print
- 38:41like he's some kind of Dracula. She also claims he bit a female
- 38:46friend's thumb with enough force to cause acute pain.
- 38:50The suit then claims he shouted profane anti-Semitic slur F all
- 38:55the Jews during a dinner, which Adiabi said caused her severe
- 38:59emotional distress due to her Jewish faith.
- 39:02Then said he got touchy feely and erratic and sexually and
- 39:07physically aggressive with the women in the group.
- 39:10And this was a guy that got caught with some anti-Semitic
- 39:12stuff. I'm not, if I'm not mistaken,
- 39:15with one of those influencers in the manosphere not that long ago
- 39:18as well. Up Well, he must be very, very
- 39:21kinky, I can tell you that. He likes to bite people.
- 39:24He likes to do all these things. Very interesting when you hear
- 39:27these kind of stories. I don't know Puka Nakua
- 39:30personally. He might be a nice guy, but when
- 39:32you hear these stories and just like Bower, Bower's is dealt
- 39:37dealt with this with baseball over the years and a lot of
- 39:40people say he's a bad guy and we don't know.
- 39:42And then you have Nick Goody and you have Jabba.
- 39:44Jabba couldn't stand him but Nick Goody loved him.
- 39:46I don't know Puka. I don't know what he does in his
- 39:48private life. I don't know what he does in his
- 39:50bedroom. I don't know what he watches
- 39:52when it comes to watching kinky stuff in his bedroom.
- 39:55What I do know is when you're out there and there's been proof
- 39:59that you have taken shots and having anti-Semitic views.
- 40:03It says to me that you need to sit down and get to know certain
- 40:07people, Jews, anybody that you don't like, and get to know who
- 40:11they are and that type of people they are.
- 40:13You cannot go out there and attack a religion, a
- 40:17nationality. You're a person that's from
- 40:19Hawaii. Nobody judges you from Hawaii.
- 40:22You are you are fourth round draft pick.
- 40:23You became a star because you went to Sean McVay and Sean
- 40:26McVay helped you grow as a player.
- 40:28When I look at somebody like Pukunuku, I think he just
- 40:31doesn't have the right people around him.
- 40:32I think he needs to be put around older, more mature
- 40:37people. Maybe his mother and his father
- 40:39didn't raise him right. Maybe there was some kind of
- 40:41abuse in the back end we don't know about.
- 40:43So I can't judge him as a person.
- 40:46I don't know him as a person. But when you hear a story like
- 40:48this as an owner of a team, is he going to continue putting
- 40:54himself in harm's way where like Antonio Brown or Ben
- 40:57Roethlisberger or one of these guys where I can't control this
- 41:00guy anymore? I'm going to have to trade him
- 41:02and that might happen. I saw a couple of videos
- 41:05recently of Puka Nakur when he was at the Super Bowl and I
- 41:09don't know if he's doing drugs. I don't know if he's taking some
- 41:12highs, but it just seemed like he was off.
- 41:15He's not in the right state of mind because he has so much
- 41:19energy and he says some wild things when he gets interviewed.
- 41:22It really weird things. So I don't know him personally,
- 41:26so I don't know what's going on in his brain, but him biting a
- 41:28woman and then biting her friend's finger, almost hurting
- 41:31her friend's finger or biting it off, whatever he was doing, it
- 41:34just it's starting. To make me think.
- 41:36It's starting to make me think that the way he was raised was
- 41:40not the proper way. Well, look, I feel a certain
- 41:44ways of being Jewish as well about this, but he just seems
- 41:48like just this overgrown dumb frat guy that's like never got
- 41:52out of like that mentality of just partying hard and going
- 41:56hard at it. And he's just this big strong
- 41:58dude. And I think at the same time,
- 42:00he's really been influenced by a lot of the crap that's out there
- 42:04on the Internet these days. This manosphere bullshit that
- 42:07you could see on the documentary that came out on Netflix
- 42:11recently. It's really toxic.
- 42:13I, I see it all the time, you know, working in the high
- 42:15schools, these kids like it's an issue, like it's a real thing
- 42:20where they don't get it. Like if you hear it as an adult,
- 42:23you're like, this guy's being like, whatever, but as a kid
- 42:26they are impressionable. And Puka probably started
- 42:28hearing this stuff since he was 15-16.
- 42:30Yeah, 'cause it's been out there that long and I think there's a
- 42:33lot of young, young 20 year olds that are a lot more violent and
- 42:38maybe, you know, anti-Semitic and racist than used to be in
- 42:41previous generations. I never heard him say it, even
- 42:44though people are saying it. I have to hear him say it like
- 42:47Kyrie Irving. When Kyrie Irving said it, we
- 42:50know. And then he came out and he
- 42:52denied it and then he took back what he said and then he did it
- 42:55again. So unfortunately there are
- 42:58people that have hatred for certain nationalities and
- 43:03religions. I don't want to hear it.
- 43:05I don't care what you think. You have your own opinions and I
- 43:09have mine. And I I don't think biting
- 43:11somebody or going out there and, and shooting whatever thoughts
- 43:16you have for a nationality or a religion is going to make you
- 43:20look better as a person. Unfortunately, Puka Nakua is
- 43:25still a a beloved guy. He has a tremendous amount of
- 43:28fans around the world. And if he wants to prove himself
- 43:31to be a good guy, maybe he needs to do something in the next
- 43:34couple of months or before the football season to show that he
- 43:38really has nothing against a religion or against anybody that
- 43:43he has worked with. Yeah, that's nothing he can do.
- 43:46I mean, this story right here is going to be the leading story.
- 43:49He's going to have to defend us for the Nets all the way up
- 43:51until the season, until he start playing ball.
- 43:53That's the only thing that taste away from these type of stories
- 43:57or whatever. I would say this I think that
- 44:00this story is a little fishy. So what I see is from based off
- 44:05the report, I think that there was, there was having fun being
- 44:10wild. And to think about it is in this
- 44:12day and age, there's a there's a version when you don't get
- 44:15caught and then there's a version when you do get caught.
- 44:17So when she comes out and say something, it's like, oh, it was
- 44:20horrific. But the other two weeks or two
- 44:23months or two years that she was dealing with it, there was no
- 44:26issue. So I think that that's kind of
- 44:29what happened. They probably had a little wild
- 44:30night and he, he, he got a little too crazy, but and she
- 44:35she saw an opportunity take him to court in jail.
- 44:38And then, hey, let's just throw, he's an anti-Semitic up there.
- 44:42Throw it on that rap sheet as well.
- 44:43Well, and then get some money out of it, get another
- 44:46opportunity like the the 20 other girls.
- 44:49And he didn't say nothing. So, you know, I think that this
- 44:53is just an opportunity and it's going to haunt him until he get
- 44:57back on the field and he's going to have to defend it.
- 44:59But I don't see no harm, no fire.
- 45:01I think anti-Semitic is the new races.
- 45:03Like, you know, there's always something there.
- 45:06There are people that are anti-Semitic and racist, but it
- 45:09don't, it doesn't have to be, you know, it's just a lot of
- 45:12sugar on the donut. You know, just to finish this
- 45:14up, I think it's a lot of times when people are anti-Semitic and
- 45:18it's just because my experience is because they don't know any
- 45:20Jews or they don't have any Jews that are friends.
- 45:22They don't. Really know so you can't even be
- 45:24anti-Semitic if you ain't even had no interaction.
- 45:27Just like I was telling people where like you know, when it
- 45:29comes to being racist, whatever. If you hear the words in the in
- 45:32a song and you just repeat it, you don't you don't have any
- 45:35interaction with the people, so you don't even really understand
- 45:37what you're saying. You just saying stuff?
- 45:39Yeah, I feel like, but once you get into your 20s, an adult, now
- 45:43you know, responsibility. At that point I hope should, but
- 45:47it is there no responsibility. Well, people, it seems like
- 45:49people are going to try to hold them responsible for this one.
- 45:52Of course, we'll see Exactly. How place you know well?
- 45:57I'm interested to see what's going to happen when he does
- 46:00speak to the press, because the press is going to draw it out of
- 46:02him one way or another, and he's going to have to answer the
- 46:04question. So it's unfortunate when you
- 46:07hear somebody like Puka Nakua, who seems like a nice guy.
- 46:09But I'm telling you, I heard a lot of stories.
- 46:12I've seen so many interviews when he was over there at the
- 46:15Super Bowl when he was interviewing and jumping from
- 46:17one table to another that it looked like he was on something,
- 46:20like he was taking like ecstasy or something.
- 46:23Dude, the guy was jumping around, dancing around, it was
- 46:26like crazy and he and he couldn't finish a sentence when
- 46:29people were asking him questions.
- 46:31So I don't. Know I wouldn't put that on him
- 46:33but he isn't that like I just say that.
- 46:36I don't know. I don't know what's going on
- 46:39with him, but seems like a pretty fun guy and he's an
- 46:43educated guy. He's not stupid, so.
- 46:45Unfortunate best wide receivers in the National Football.
- 46:48I think he is the best overall, best wide receiver in football
- 46:51he does. Everything.
- 46:52No, no, but he will be. He will be the highest paid
- 46:57wide. Receiver.
- 46:57There's a guy that just came off a championship run.
- 46:59Yeah, I, I'm not saying that. I'm not saying he's not great,
- 47:04but if you were to ask me right now, Puka, who does everything
- 47:07he blocks, he does everything that that's the guy that I want,
- 47:11the prototypical type of guy that I want.
- 47:13So. And I would say you can put SAN
- 47:15and any other offense and you can put Puka in any other
- 47:18offense and. Hey QQ, why don't, why don't you
- 47:22ask Carol who was high on the JSN before the season started?
- 47:27Who was high on JSN before the season started around?
- 47:30It was the one thing he was right about.
- 47:33One thing all right, all. Right one out of 100.
- 47:35Good job, fish. He's.
- 47:37A good one, though, I said. I was like, watch, he's gonna be
- 47:40like top three. He did.
- 47:42You know, because who else they thrown into it?
- 47:44Didn't matter because I won a fantasy league.
- 47:49I got to get back with the bracket I got y'all.
- 47:52Don't. Don't you worry.
- 47:53We'll see. We'll see.
- 47:55We'll see. I remember you said that, so I
- 47:58remember I won the bracket last year too.
- 48:00So yeah, you know, last year was last year.
- 48:02I did. I won the bracket last year.
- 48:04You'll be quiet you. You'll be quiet you.
- 48:07Anyways, it's all about luck. First of all.
- 48:10It's all about how it falls. But whatever.
