- 0:35[SPEAKER_02]: What is going on faithful?
- 0:38[SPEAKER_02]: It is Tuesday, which means I am here with the legend himself.
- 0:41[SPEAKER_02]: The Wayne Breeze Wayne, how are we doing my friend?
- 0:45[SPEAKER_02]: There is optimism in the air for this season.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_02]: How are we feeling today?
- 0:49[SPEAKER_01]: We feeling good, OTA's about to kick off.
- 0:53[SPEAKER_01]: And it's about to be on 49ers football as officially back, baby.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_02]: Man, it does not stop.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_02]: It just reminds me of the Dave Chappelle skit on making the band where he is he did he?
- 1:06[SPEAKER_02]: Can't stop won't stop.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_02]: Hmm, like it just, it's mini camp, it's owners meeting, it's press conference, it's draft, it's just non-freakin' stop.
- 1:15[SPEAKER_02]: And now we got OTAs, the 49ers report or their first whatever is tomorrow at noon, 12 30 time, Pacific time.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_02]: And so, you know, let's start there.
- 1:27[SPEAKER_02]: I have too many notes today because I had notes for Wayne's show last Tuesday and I didn't get to them all because I had some family stuff that's 100% on John Chapman.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_02]: So I apologize to everybody out there.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_02]: But man, so now I have two shows of notes for Wayne and so yeah, it's going to be a lot.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_02]: We'll see how much we can get through our role for the rest the next week.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_02]: It's what it is.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_02]: But let's start talking about OTAs because
- 1:52[SPEAKER_02]: what who cares right like let's let's play this out like why should people care about the 49ers reporting for OTAs and why is that important why are you excited because I'm excited too because I think there's a lot we can learn from it but what is it that you're looking for too?
- 2:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, man, just the, the, the bro groups man, like everybody getting back together trying to get on the same page, you know, cats coming in from different areas.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_01]: You got the new kids on the block.
- 2:21[SPEAKER_01]: You got the old veterans too.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_01]: Some of the veterans would be there.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_01]: Remember, these are like involuntary.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_01]: These aren't mandatory.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_01]: So,
- 2:30[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think the Niners have any contract situations going on to where people go and hold up.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_01]: So like, that's the biggest thing, right?
- 2:36[SPEAKER_01]: Like so, yeah, I've been here a lot.
- 2:39[SPEAKER_01]: I'm kind of expecting everybody to show up.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_01]: OTAs get it, get it in, get that an installment in and keep it moving until, you know, training camp kicks off in July.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_01]: Like, so this is fun.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_01]: For me, you're getting old school, new school need to learn more.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_01]: A burn baby, burn like this, go and burn.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be fun.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_01]: You want to see him build a new rapport with these wide receivers.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_01]: You got new wide receivers, Mike Evans, Christian Kirk, Dayzone, Stribbling.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_01]: You got new guys on the new kids on the block.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_01]: So I think that's what it is for me, man.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_01]: Just build a
- 3:20[SPEAKER_02]: She says have a great showfell as Jack's every time I see in the chat.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_02]: I just want to say thank you Really, list my spirits can't wait to be together a person Throughout the season this this upcoming season so excited see I see some of your tickets for the games and I'd love to see that.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you, Jacks Yeah, who shows up and I mean the 40 editors are now passing out non-hold out clauses
- 3:43[SPEAKER_02]: For Trent Williams right in the deal like they are trying to get ahead of this.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_02]: We're not doing that Bosa debo Trent holding out till Freaking first game whatever like no, we're we're past that as a franchise the culture.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_02]: We're not doing that anymore.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_02]: I think right in I you really kicked them in the rear end and they're like, okay, we're not doing this ever again.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_02]: So
- 4:07[SPEAKER_02]: That's huge, but also I want to know where guys are taking reps, especially the rookies, right?
- 4:13[SPEAKER_02]: I think that's going to carve a wheel.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_02]: Probably going to be at left guard.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_02]: I want to know that.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_02]: It's priceok behind Diomedor LaNora's.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_02]: He on the right corner, competing with Renardo Green.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_02]: You know, which two safeties are out there?
- 4:28[SPEAKER_02]: Who's taking snaps at the third SAME spot?
- 4:30[SPEAKER_02]: Where is Nick Martin lining up?
- 4:32[SPEAKER_02]: These are the questions where we finally get to peak and see.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_02]: And kind of get a cheat to the answers to the test.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_02]: Where are the 49ers coaching staff see all of these players fit now?
- 4:45[SPEAKER_02]: That's the, those are the ones where I'm just like, dude, I want to know where people are playing.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_02]: Are they going to line up in multiple defensive fronts?
- 4:52[SPEAKER_02]: Right off the batter is it just kind of the same old, same old with this 42543 look.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, which one of those, whether personnel decisions, line up decisions, kind of a picture interest.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if we get any of that in me.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_01]: I think it may is getting everybody in their respective rooms, getting everybody on board, getting out of those iPads, like that's me.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_01]: And like, so, but it could be different.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_01]: You got new coaching, new philosophies.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_01]: same, some of the same players.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_01]: So it could be different.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_01]: I just want to see those dudes out there and ready and go.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_01]: I want to see this new regime.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that's what I'm most excited about, the new regime and players coming out fired up.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_01]: And I want to see how who's taking practice seriously, man.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_01]: You know, from the young guys to the old guys, bro, from the coaches to the owner, shoot at the end of the day.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_01]: Like I want to see this team
- 5:53[SPEAKER_01]: in me.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_02]: I like that, man.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_02]: I like that.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_02]: Look at this from blue.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_02]: Appreciate John.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_02]: Just want to get in here early.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_02]: I've become spoiled by your content and have to come to expect this level of quality from everyone and they just can't compete.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_02]: That's very, very kind.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_02]: Me and Wayne been doing this for a little bit.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_02]: Just a little while, right Wayne?
- 6:13[SPEAKER_02]: Just a little bit.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_02]: We've been recorded just a little while together.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_02]: This is show 1650 of the 40 hours rush podcast.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_02]: And I weigh the knife.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_02]: We've done close to 400 shows together.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_02]: We've been working together for years, man.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_02]: And so very, very blessed, very, very, very thankful.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_02]: I do want to just update real quick.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_02]: We do have a zoom hanging out to Mara Wednesday, the 27th at 5 p.m. Pacific Time.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_02]: For everybody that subscribes over on the 49ers rush.com.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_02]: and on our Patreon channel.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_02]: Now, wait, I want to transition now and to probably the bulk of this show.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_02]: John and Kyle were on a podcast, the Tom Tolbert Show, you know, local radio guy over here in the Bay Area.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_02]: And
- 6:58[SPEAKER_02]: I want to get your opinion on a couple things.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_02]: Now, whenever I think about explosive offensive plays, the very first thing that comes to mind is Wayne breezy Patreon because you freaking crush it every single time.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_02]: Now, Kyle Shannon was asked just about how they felt things went last year, offensively and defensively.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_02]: And Kyle said the biggest issue was the lead.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_02]: This is the quote, quote, least amount of explosives that we've had in our
- 7:26[SPEAKER_01]: worst we have done in the run game in quote now wait talk to us about your patreon your explosives break down in season and explain to us where did the explosives go when Ricky Pierce all was healthy you're going to Rick and the the ground game just wasn't working for some reason we didn't get our first like 10 yard rush until like week 13 it was the weirdest thing I've ever
- 7:54[SPEAKER_01]: We kept saying, Christian, McAfrey, lost his burst.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_01]: He didn't have the speed.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_01]: The rum blocking was just horrible, for if it could be really terrible.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, I made up a word.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_01]: It got us to few extra syllables, and it was bad.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_01]: Like, there were no lanes open.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_01]: We couldn't get to the outside zone.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_01]: It was just terrible.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_01]: And the defense knew that extra guy extra minute in a box.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_01]: So those explosive plays on the ground really hurt.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_01]: Therefore, a play action pass wasn't really part of the equation.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_01]: And we had to rely on certain trick plays to get 10 yards.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_01]: That's the weirdest thing.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_01]: Now, for me on the Patreon, I do break down explosives and the negative.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_01]: So don't think you don't get the negative.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_01]: If it's a tackle for a loss or negative, you're going to get that too.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to look at and see what might have happened.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_01]: center missing a block but at the end of the day those explosive plays just weren't happening on the ground and it were like a series of games where we just couldn't get any explosives bro and don't even get me to the last week in Seattle it was just terrible but um
- 8:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you can find that on a Patreon and season now on the Patreon.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_01]: I do one other things to build the community.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_01]: Come on over to the Patreon.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_01]: I'm trying to build that community.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_01]: I'm trying to make it 49er like just communicate it.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you know, just community base where we just sit, we chat.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_01]: We did a little bit deeper into what we talk about here on the YouTube.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_01]: So it's more like that.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_01]: It's not a bunch of extra breakdown film videos like my man John Chapman.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_01]: I don't have the brain power for that.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_01]: But I do give you explosive plays and I give you the quarterbacks attempts in passing throws throughout the regular season.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_01]: So that's pretty cool.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_02]: for your love of it.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_02]: My favorite thing is that like we hit different spots, right?
- 9:33[SPEAKER_02]: And it's almost like we're like a coaching staff, you know what I mean?
- 9:35[SPEAKER_02]: Because it's like, yeah, I remember when I was coaching, it's like, all right, who wants third down to one's goal line, who wants play action, who wants third and long, like you divvy this stuff up as a defensive staff, as offensive catch-how, like staff, how do they line up to this?
- 9:49[SPEAKER_02]: Who wants to do this?
- 9:49[SPEAKER_02]: What's the blitz bat?
- 9:50[SPEAKER_02]: Like, that's what we do.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_02]: And so the explosives, which is such a big deal.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_02]: And if you don't know what explosive is,
- 9:56[SPEAKER_02]: Different teams kind of chalked that up differently like Mac Brown used to do it like a 12 plus yard rush attempt or 15 plus Pass attempt yet.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_02]: Kyle Shatt ahead does it differently.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_01]: What's your definition so I do 10 on the ground 20 in the air You know what I mean so anything 20 yards more in the air that's an explosive play anything 10 on the ground or more is an explosive play
- 10:22[SPEAKER_02]: And I'll go back to Mac Brown, you know, I had the wonderful opportunity to go to several of his clinics and have conversations with them.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_02]: Like he would always say this.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_02]: He would say, look, if you just show me turnover ratio with explosives, I'll tell you who wins the game every single time.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_02]: If you win both those categories, it's as simple as that.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_02]: turnovers and explosives.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_02]: If you win those two things, you win the game almost 99% of the time.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_02]: Now, Jane says, we were slow, which is correct.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, when your x-y receiver runs a 4-7, Christian McCaffer, you talk about the lack of purse.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_02]: When George Kittle was out that hurt, when, you know, Ricky Pierce saw us out that hurt,
- 11:04[SPEAKER_02]: There was a lot of lack of speed.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_02]: Now, did they address that?
- 11:07[SPEAKER_02]: Sean, three, Mike Evans, even though he's older, probably still four, five guy.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_02]: He was a low four for dude.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_02]: You get, you know, keylon black runs a four, four, seven way faster than, you know, Brian Robinson.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_02]: Like, definitely address the speed.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_02]: Did they add enough speedway?
- 11:23[SPEAKER_01]: They've been addressing the speed for the past couple of seasons because the Ricky Prissel is a four four guys.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_01]: So like at the end of the day, I mean, like you're four three guys were hurt.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_01]: Jordan Walkins came into the season.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_01]: Got hurt in training camp.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_01]: Remember, and so he didn't really take off.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_01]: He's a four three guy.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_01]: You got Jacob calling.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_01]: who ain't played in 19 years, he's a four, three guys.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_01]: So they've been addressing speed.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_01]: And then they went, guy, day John's tripling, another four, three guys.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_01]: So speed, the need for speed has been addressed.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_01]: The question, the optimism is like, will it be on the field?
- 11:54[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you know what I mean?
- 11:54[SPEAKER_01]: Like, will it be utilized?
- 11:56[SPEAKER_01]: The last time we had a super speedy guy, where we've kind of started to change the reigns of the four
- 12:02[SPEAKER_01]: 39 as wide as he was when they drafted gray, Danny Gray, and that didn't work out.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_01]: But that player was for trade lands.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_01]: I think what they did is they addressed speed for Brock Perti, and I think that is what we start.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_01]: We got to really start to kind of like hit the nail on the head with.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_01]: They definitely looked at Brock and said, he's the let's build this build the singer on Brock.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that's the type of speed we got.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_01]: We got speed and physicality and a lot of the players.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm excited.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_02]: I've got the need, the need for speed.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_02]: There we go.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_02]: Forty-nighter Jess is the defenses we're stacking the box.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_02]: It was all for every game.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, even Seattle who didn't stack the box at the initial snap, they would have the blueprint.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_02]: They'd rotate it down after a full count after the snap.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_02]: Like that's what it was.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_02]: It bet, shout out to the legend.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_02]: Look at this, talking about coaching staff.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_02]: Here's my O.C.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_02]: right here, man.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe my head coach Johnny Dale, we're on top.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_02]: there's go to learn about football.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_02]: If you haven't checked out Johnny football, Johnny Dale football Academy, what are you doing?
- 13:03[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just there for the vibes.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_01]: You ever sit in, and it's too much learning, and so you just, that's some point.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just here for the five.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_02]: Johnny, you broke all four or one.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't fall.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want it.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_02]: He's like, I'm full of zero one.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_01]: I'm the introductory course and then they hit you up.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_01]: And they need to get to it.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's right, right, right.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_02]: Johnny's coming out to Atlanta.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_02]: I think we're trying to make that happen.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_02]: So anybody coming out to Atlanta, four of your answers.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_01]: You know, books ready to get your voice recorders ready.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_01]: Because Johnny's got information.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_01]: I got a charge Johnny it dill up because he he lost our trivia competition last time in Seattle And I was disappointed He's not he's not Johnny Trivia's not just being with the trivia's a different trivia's a different beast Because that Who's my man and his the father and his son they come out all the time
- 14:02[SPEAKER_02]: And and and I did the the the school stuff.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, bread bread.
- 14:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they're the kings of trivia them the trivia kings.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Kark.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_01]: There it is kings of trivia
- 14:13[SPEAKER_02]: uh... so he says this is johnny delie says might be didn't as a clip uh... when he was with saffron sf talking about the run blocking from receivers is what makes big explosives wide receiver blocking with straight cheats even two-on-genny to you know made his career like do this do this tough as they can probably his worst season ever blocking a lot of you in the ribs and whatever else
- 14:38[SPEAKER_02]: whatever, but it wasn't great.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_02]: Ricky Pierce all efforts there, not consistent.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_02]: There's some issues there.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_02]: So can that step up?
- 14:48[SPEAKER_02]: And if you, yeah, I've got, you'll Mike Evans tape up.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_02]: That dude's still values blocking.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_02]: He doesn't, he's one of the biggest wide receivers ever.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_01]: And then he drafted the best blocking why receiver in the draft.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_01]: So.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think that was what they needed to address and they addressed it.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_01]: Both in the preseason, I mean, in the offseason and in the draft.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll see what happens, man.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, look at Shane.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_02]: I remember I was in Canton, Ohio, we were hosting a event.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_02]: It was a dynasty event, whatever fantasy football event, Canton, Ohio for their fantasy football expo.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_02]: And I left the event that I was hosting early so I could watch that preseason game.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_02]: Tray Lance hits that deep bomb to Danny Gray.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I'm in Canton and I'm just like, it's Justin.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_02]: Trey Lance is going to be the future Hall of Famer and you know, I was really big on Trey.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_01]: And then they just, no, bro, they just.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to get, we know the has conversation.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_01]: I just, we're, we're optimistic.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_01]: I tell you what, we were wrong.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_01]: I was wrong.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_01]: I was, held it wrong.
- 15:53[SPEAKER_01]: But was I really wrong?
- 15:54[SPEAKER_01]: Or was he just use wrong?
- 15:56[SPEAKER_01]: Come on, man.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_02]: I'm staying with Dave Chappelle Charlie Murphy's kid.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_02]: Or he's like, thank you.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_02]: When do that again?
- 16:02[SPEAKER_02]: Wrong.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_01]: Wrong.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_01]: That's what he promised.
- 16:05[UNKNOWN]: That's what he promised.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_02]: That's what he promised.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_02]: That's what he promised.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_02]: That's what he promised.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_01]: That's what he promised.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_01]: That's what he promised.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_01]: That's what he promised.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_01]: That's what he promised.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_01]: That's what he promised.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_01]: That's what he promised.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_01]: That's what he promised.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_01]: That's what he promised.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_01]: That's what he promised.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_01]: That's what he promised.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_01]: That's what he promised.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_01]: That's what he promised.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_01]: That's what he promised.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_01]: That's what he promised.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_01]: That's what he promised.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_01]: That's what he promised.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_01]: That's what he promised.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_01]: That's what he promised.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_01]: That's what he promised.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_01]: That's what he promised.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_01]: That's what he promised.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_01]: That's what he promised.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_02]: I'm Maria shout out to Maria and there's a lot of really quality comments.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_02]: I can spend time on all that we can make this an hour show and I'd love this this is this is what happens when we're going to get together because like it's just fun and the chat's bump it.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just very thankful to be here today.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_02]: This is awesome.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_02]: I needed this show today.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you so much.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_02]: Maria one of the issues is not having a back that could break through tackles running through the left was good because of Trent and you also had to you know make up for birth or but yeah, like they
- 16:58[SPEAKER_02]: Christian McCaffrey is unbelievable.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_02]: There is the lack of burst and there is the not breaking tackles is often as you want, like you could look at, you know, because right now the fantasy, Twitter first is dominating where they're putting out all these analytics over the past year and they're doing like tackles broken per run and what Christopher Caffrey and nowhere on them, like he's not in the top 30 of like, he wasn't just not there.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_01]: Even though he had the most touches, if you go back the year before though he was, it's the usage,
- 17:32[SPEAKER_01]: It's part of the way that he was being utilized.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_01]: All right, let's talk about the first part that you said, right?
- 17:37[SPEAKER_01]: The first part, Bro, the tunes he got the ball, they were in the backfield.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_01]: That's tough.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_01]: He's not as young, he's not a young spring chicken anymore.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_01]: And you know, that was tough.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_01]: So those are some of the tackles you are hoping that he breaks that first initial tackle with dude.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_01]: Some of the balls hiking, dude's on them.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_01]: It's time it's kind of tough.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_01]: I hate it that I hate that the offensive line couldn't figure that part out to help the running backs out.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_01]: Now if you're talking going two, three yards getting down the field, break the tackles,
- 18:11[SPEAKER_01]: Man, I don't know, it just, it just wasn't the same because I just think he was the usage of him was different and in my opinion.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_01]: Let's see if he gets, I don't know if he gets the burst back this year, but I wouldn't be surprised if he got the, if he gets the burst back, I just wouldn't be surprised.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_01]: And I wouldn't be surprised if he makes those one cuts again and starts breaking tackles just because the offense is going to be better and it's totality, you know.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_02]: That's right, it said the show title 49ers optimistic 2026 is based off of 2025 now Let's go back and let's look at this was another one of my key takeaways from the Tom Tolber interview with Kyle and John Kyle talked about last year defensively he said going into the season we knew we were quote a little light
- 19:00[SPEAKER_02]: on defense and then it got worse with injuries, but they knew they did not have it that this question came up with what would it take for the $40 to win a Super Bowl and like Kyle shedding it openly and bidding then we knew last year that off season.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_02]: 25 off season was rough man.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_02]: You had the brand and I you whatever you didn't sign one starter and free agency the draft was good.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_02]: But not explosive like it wasn't like, oh my gosh, like nobody was like, you know, jumping down.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_02]: It was boring, but you got a lot of contributors, which I do like solid talent.
- 19:37[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 19:38[SPEAKER_02]: We kept saying like, dude, they're, you know, get cheaper, get younger, like that was their thing.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_02]: And because they took their medicine and still went to the playoff, still knocked out the raining Super Bowl champions on the road in the playoffs.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, the Seattle game was a nightmare, but man, 2026, the roster is completely different.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_02]: completely different now and a lot of that had to do with 2025.
- 20:03[SPEAKER_02]: So my question to you, do you think your overall analysis or just view of this defense is this a team that can a defense that can bring, you know, kind of a super bowl home, do you feel confident enough in this or is it still in Cheney Hans word a little light on the defensive side?
- 20:25[SPEAKER_01]: When Shanahan, was he referring to the defense at going into 2026 being a little light or going?
- 20:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he was talking about last year was a little light going in the last year, but going, okay, so I know that there's question marks and I know you know and I know that they know that there are question marks and I think the question marks really stem around the secondary.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_01]: I think that those are the question marks.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_01]: where I liked that they did was, first of all, they brought in another secondary defensive minded coordinator.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_01]: Right, that's number one.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_01]: Then he brought in one of the greatest secondary coaches probably of all time.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_01]: So Kyle knowing that it was like, said, Rahim, I want you and then bring in a guy to work with some of these guys that we have.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_01]: I love Jerry.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_01]: Great.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_01]: So that right deer situation from a coaching standpoint has been addressed.
- 21:21[SPEAKER_01]: We don't know if it's fixed, but it's been addressed.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_01]: Right, because we haven't seen them play it.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_01]: So we know that they addressed that now as far as the players, you know, that's what has been to come down to that will they got to go out there and just shoot.
- 21:35[SPEAKER_01]: Show them proof.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, they drafted Ephesians price sock.
- 21:38[SPEAKER_01]: That's a different type of player that we normally see get drafted for the San Francisco for to the San Francisco 49ers.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_01]: You get what I'm saying.
- 21:46[SPEAKER_01]: So something is something is shifting defensively.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_01]: Now I am high as a sky on this defensive because Fred Warner is back and great green laws back.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_01]: and the balance is back.
- 22:04[SPEAKER_01]: We, if you wanna know what the middle of the football field, those two guys and still the balance on the defense, as less work for the DBs and as less work for the defensive line up front.
- 22:20[SPEAKER_01]: I did a show yesterday.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_01]: I talked about the front being the engine.
- 22:24[SPEAKER_01]: The line got to get home.
- 22:25[SPEAKER_01]: They got to do a goddamn job.
- 22:27[SPEAKER_01]: They got to stop the run.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_01]: Do a a job.
- 22:29[SPEAKER_01]: The linebackers are the brain of the defense.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_01]: They're the ones that are dictating, hey man, you need to be here.
- 22:35[SPEAKER_01]: You need to be there.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_01]: You got to go here.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_01]: You got to go here.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_01]: That's back.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_01]: And then, if Fred is the brain out of all some of this, then you got the blood that flows to the brain.
- 22:45[SPEAKER_01]: Give the brain this oxygen.
- 22:47[SPEAKER_01]: You got to drink green one back, bro.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_01]: I don't give a fuck off of you all to step, got two more steps, this dude is coming back to the place where he was birthed to play football and I'm just that much more excited.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_01]: I care less about anything else.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_01]: With that being said though, I think that helps the second dairy.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_01]: I think it helps out a guy like Jaiya Brown who didn't know what the fk is role was last year.
- 23:11[SPEAKER_01]: Was he lying back or was he his safety?
- 23:13[SPEAKER_01]: Was he what?
- 23:14[SPEAKER_01]: Was he he was bad?
- 23:15[SPEAKER_01]: He was terrible.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_01]: He was MJ bad, right?
- 23:19[SPEAKER_01]: a little bit now, because if we go back to that Steve Wilkes defense, which was the second dairy minor defense, they have some brain farts, you have some young guys out there, but Jaya Brown looked like he was in contention of growing into some type of an all pro-esque type of a safety, they moved off or tell no, who found a because of Jaya Brown.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_01]: So, Steve Wilkes left that defensive mind shift, you got Nick Sornson as a coordinator, we were like, what
- 23:48[SPEAKER_01]: It was a wrap.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm high on the defense.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_01]: I do think that the defense stowed.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_01]: I think the pressure is more on the defense than it is the offense.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_02]: If that makes sense, my thing about the defense that I'm probably most excited about is like, let's go through a position group, okay?
- 24:04[SPEAKER_02]: Better this year or last year, defense of tackle room.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_02]: Is it better this year or is it better last year?
- 24:10[SPEAKER_01]: I want to say it's better because I like the youth movement.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_01]: And I think Osis better than anybody they had either year so your best player got better better than Better than java hargrave better than java hargrave I don't shorten Ellie at he drove me wild Better than Ellie at better than given better than davis better than the other davis that one guy And not got said as younger so these guys can actually grow into their row I like the upside on alpha columns and C.J.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_01]: West.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_01]: I really do and I'm glad that they are from some of those other dudes to give those guys roles
- 24:43[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I like okay, defense of it better this year last year.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think that's close.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_01]: You get Nick Bosa back, and then I, I'm high on Sam Okuano of that's where they play.
- 24:54[SPEAKER_01]: I know he's kind of like that tweener guy.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_02]: He gets to go to the role he deserves to play.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_02]: Last year I had to play Nick Bosa's role.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_02]: Last year, he's not starving.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_01]: You can't Mike, you know, you get in Mike hell and you're getting those guys back.
- 25:06[SPEAKER_01]: So you're going to be able to set the edge.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to be able to rush the pastor and then they address it in, uh, and the draft and remote height to be a third down second machine.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_01]: I really think he's brought in to be his.
- 25:18[SPEAKER_01]: He's our Nick Benito bro.
- 25:20[SPEAKER_01]: I guarantee it.
- 25:21[SPEAKER_01]: I can guarantee it.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_01]: It's a brand thing.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_02]: That's big cover for you.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_02]: Wave it in the need for need.
- 25:26[SPEAKER_01]: We needed energy off the edge.
- 25:29[SPEAKER_01]: not boring off the edge.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_01]: We need an energy of the Nick Nick boosters boring off the edge.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_02]: I agree.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_02]: We need energy off the edge as he just explosions not really like his thing, right?
- 25:41[SPEAKER_01]: No, he's amazing.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_02]: He's technicians.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_02]: He's more calculated, which works.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_02]: And he's I would consider him a top six defensive end in the NFL.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_02]: And I don't know.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_01]: It's not a shot at Nick.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_01]: He's just boring.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_02]: It's just a little boring.
- 25:54[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 25:54[SPEAKER_02]: All right, linebackers.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_02]: This one's the easiest one.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_02]: Come on, man.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_02]: Drake Greenlaw and Fred Warner returns.
- 26:00[SPEAKER_01]: We were calling this line back and do it a best line back and do it in the league for it.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_01]: What years and it will return how about that.
- 26:09[SPEAKER_02]: I forget it's the same person now, but you added back up that corner, right?
- 26:14[SPEAKER_02]: You bring in priceok, Nate Hobbs, like Jack Jones, the safety room is almost the exact same.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_02]: So like,
- 26:21[SPEAKER_02]: more experience.
- 26:22[SPEAKER_01]: I think the safety room is better because of the experience, right?
- 26:25[SPEAKER_01]: And the mentality of those guys, you just mentioned Jack Jones and Nate Hobbs.
- 26:29[SPEAKER_01]: You got one versatile versatile piece of Nate Hobbs who could play potentially that star role on the defensive side.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_01]: You could play safety, you can play corner, you could play outside, you could play inside like, where do you need, where do you need me coach?
- 26:43[SPEAKER_01]: Put me in coach.
- 26:44[SPEAKER_01]: Where you need me?
- 26:45[SPEAKER_01]: Your mommy spends your James from all America.
- 26:47[SPEAKER_01]: He could play anywhere.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_01]: That is what the Niners need.
- 26:51[SPEAKER_01]: That is going to be their wild car piece.
- 26:53[SPEAKER_01]: I think that joke or piece for the defense or side of football.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_01]: Just watch.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_01]: I think Nate Hobbs and I have a great year.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, look at this for Cali chip though.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think Romelo Height will ever be a proble or anything, but he could be a top five defensive pass rusher immediately.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_02]: You look at the draft class last year.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_02]: The second place Sachs was four and a half from the draft class like that's it.
- 27:14[SPEAKER_02]: That's the second best sack total number from rookie's last year.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_02]: If you told me you got four and a half sacks from Ramello height right now, I'd take it and I'd be like, dude, that isn't enough.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_02]: Now, can he grow into something like what is his ceiling?
- 27:27[SPEAKER_02]: Is it, you know, a o-way?
- 27:28[SPEAKER_02]: Is it, you know, a bonito?
- 27:30[SPEAKER_02]: Is it, you know, where can it go from there?
- 27:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 27:34[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not sure, but that's not what the Niners have to have.
- 27:37[SPEAKER_02]: He just gets to go play a role.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_01]: He goes sick him.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_01]: to come, to come.
- 27:43[SPEAKER_01]: We talk about we got dogs all day.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_01]: Well, he's going to have the most best dog roll on the team because he's going to have one objective.
- 27:50[SPEAKER_01]: And you talk about a kid with a motor that looks crazy.
- 27:54[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if he met like not a pro-border this season.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not giving him pro-border credit this season.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_01]: But I think eventually, if those second numbers are ridiculous, over the first three seasons of his career, that's home run in his draft, home run.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_02]: especially whatever you look at just the fact that sacks just have not translated very well for this event so like yeah the pressures the you know getting a quarterback to change his feet drop his eyes those are huge but we do finishers you gotta have guys that could just put the quarterback in the dirt
- 28:30[SPEAKER_02]: That's what you've got to get to now real quick.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_02]: We've got more questions one.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_02]: We finally know the grade that the 49ers had on Brock pretty head into the draft and I want to go through Daniel Jeremiah's blueprint for how to build a championship roster I want to see if the 49ers pass it but before we do if you go to any 49ers away games this year come party with us at 49ers rush road trip dot com
- 28:54[SPEAKER_02]: 49ers rush road trip is going into it's sixth year with over 40 events at road games if you are traveling to see the 49ers play this year you gotta come party with us and on top of that we give games trivia giveaways we partnered with tick pick this year all you have to do is search 49ers rush on any of the tick pick sights apps you name it and on top of all of that.
- 29:18[SPEAKER_02]: best dressed, giveaways, autographed jerseys, kids are always included and get in for free with a ticketed adult.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_02]: And a lot of times for select cities, we will have 49ers legends come out and you get to meet and greet them and get autographed.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_02]: Vorrow Bowman, Frank Gore, Patrick Willis, Fred Warner, are all players that we have worked with in the past and trust me.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_02]: If you want to build the 49ers community, you're traveling by yourself, we got you covered 49ers
- 29:52[SPEAKER_02]: And just want to let you know we have all encompassing fully inclusive travel packages to Australia, Mexico City with game tickets included flights included if you want that you don't have to select that option, but for individual events here in the United States we're going to be at Seattle or going to be at Atlanta we're going to be at Dallas so go get those tickets kids are free to everything everything everything everything and we might add an event or two I'm still working back channels just a little bit we'll see about that now.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_02]: Um, in that Tom Tolberg show with Kyle and John, um, they let it Kyle let it slip that they had a fourth round grade on Brock pretty heading into the draft and that he was one of their favorite players because of the culture changing attitude that he brought to Iowa State, um, how we took over that program and kind of changed our trajectory, but at the same token they said,
- 30:44[SPEAKER_02]: We thought he'd go undrafted because of his measurables.
- 30:47[SPEAKER_02]: It turns out they were right because of the 40 hours didn't draft him with the last pick in the draft.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_02]: He would have been undrafted.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_02]: What, like, is it crazy to have a fourth round great on a quarterback and then not draft them?
- 31:01[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I don't know, the Brock Perti lore just continues to grow a little bit.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think so, man, the Niners grade their players, the way they grade their players.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_01]: The Niners are always trying to.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes they'll go and just get that guy.
- 31:18[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think they felt they needed to quarterback because they had already invested in a quarterback.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_01]: And so, him still being there with the fourth round grade, with the last pick and a draft, it just, hey, our guy's still here.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_01]: No one knows about him, no one's thinking about him.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think is anything wrong with your grade.
- 31:39[SPEAKER_01]: You can see why Brock Perry would have had a fourth brown grade.
- 31:43[SPEAKER_01]: And I bet you everybody else probably wish they would have drafted Brock Perry either fourth round as of right now.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_01]: So whoever did the scouting on Brock Perry deserves a round of applause because they definitely did their due diligence.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_01]: The reason why he probably wasn't a higher grade than that just was because of his intangibles.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_01]: site size speed hand size on that dumb stuff right arm strength.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_01]: I mean what you need is that's not dumb but at the end of the day my point is we had a four if we had a four for a great on it makes sense why he's performing
- 32:19[SPEAKER_01]: as well as he's performing now.
- 32:21[SPEAKER_01]: He wasn't an undrafted guy, just 31 other teams just overlooked Brock Perti.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_01]: 49ers were looking, they kept their mobs shut and they were able to snatch him up with the last pick in the draft.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 32:34[SPEAKER_02]: Now, another thing I did know in that first start against because he came in against the dolphins when Jimmy G broke his ankle.
- 32:42[SPEAKER_02]: Awesome.
- 32:42[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 32:42[SPEAKER_02]: I was that one of the things he's ever.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_02]: Then the next the very next game against the Tampa Bay books, who they dominated, he broke his ribs on one of the first past place.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_02]: It Kyle talks about how he missed diagnosed man versus zone.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_02]: He called the wrong can audible.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_02]: You had a free blitzer.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_02]: I forgot who it was.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's Kiano Neil came through and broke his ribs.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_02]: Messed up his cartilage.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_02]: Even had like a tear and his oblique whatever else.
- 33:11[SPEAKER_02]: Played through it, did miss a game.
- 33:12[SPEAKER_02]: Like, and I think, you know, my favorite Brock Perti talent is being able to diagnose the defense pre-snap.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I feel like he is really, really smart.
- 33:26[SPEAKER_02]: And I love the fact that the one time early in his career he got it wrong, it broke his damn ribs.
- 33:31[SPEAKER_02]: And so it's like, you're gonna learn today.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I think he learns such a valuable lesson from our early standpoint.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_02]: If I get this wrong,
- 33:40[SPEAKER_02]: I break my ribs.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_02]: If I get this right, I don't get touched and we have a successful play.
- 33:46[SPEAKER_02]: And so I don't really have a question so much as like, when I was listening to that interview, I was like, ah, this is why Brock.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_02]: It's so good at this.
- 33:55[SPEAKER_02]: Because the one time he wasn't, he got his ass beat.
- 33:59[SPEAKER_01]: I think what I love about Brock Prairie, the most is the elite processing.
- 34:05[SPEAKER_01]: And I think essentially you talk about pre-snap,
- 34:11[SPEAKER_01]: When things started to shift on Brock as far as the the type of players he was throwing to you saw the anticipation leave.
- 34:18[SPEAKER_01]: Remember we were like, why is Brock holding on to the ball like this?
- 34:21[SPEAKER_01]: His processing is elite.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_01]: He still has the elite processing, but I don't think he had the right pieces.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_01]: And so he had the hold on to the ball.
- 34:29[SPEAKER_01]: He had to try to make a play.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_01]: And so I think now,
- 34:33[SPEAKER_01]: you're going to get elite processing anticipated throws all that type of stuff that makes a quarterback elite.
- 34:40[SPEAKER_01]: I think you're going to get that because you they've solved some some they've solved some problems.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, offensive side of football.
- 34:48[SPEAKER_01]: That's why I keep saying to me, the biggest question mark is still going to be the defense.
- 34:52[SPEAKER_01]: I think constantly in a hand was like, yo, we got to get an X, why we're seeing what we
- 34:55[SPEAKER_01]: got to get a guy.
- 34:56[SPEAKER_01]: We got to get an X man.
- 34:57[SPEAKER_01]: It's just a period.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_01]: We just need a guy.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_01]: And it did it.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_01]: I don't care if he's old.
- 35:01[SPEAKER_01]: He's still dominant.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be dominant.
- 35:03[SPEAKER_01]: It's better for, you know, many people are going to be like damn.
- 35:06[SPEAKER_01]: All we had to do was pay him 14 million dollars this year.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_01]: We got to have a Mike Evans.
- 35:11[SPEAKER_01]: cause gonna slap people in the face with that one.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm excited for Brock.
- 35:17[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's going to also improve in other areas.
- 35:20[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's ability to make plays when the net one's stuff breaks down is great.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I'm saying?
- 35:25[SPEAKER_01]: So the off schedule stuff, I think Brock is elite in many areas.
- 35:31[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what will make him
- 35:34[SPEAKER_01]: The elite guy, like to the Josh Allen, all these elite players, none of them want to Super Bowl other than passing my homes.
- 35:42[SPEAKER_01]: All right, I don't get it.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to tell me Sam, don't know what you mean.
- 35:46[SPEAKER_01]: Oh God, I hear.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no.
- 35:49[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely not.
- 35:50[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm excited to see what Brock is going to do this year.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_01]: That's why I'm excited for OTAs, because I know Brock and no receivers will be there.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_01]: One hundred.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_01]: Say.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_02]: I just think about Brock having receivers and tightens the backs he don't he does not trust like Luke Farrell You seem to be open and pull it Jordan Mason like he hated Jordan Mason more than Bobby Tartar hated Jordan Mason Like there's just certain guys that like Brock's like I ain't throwing it stone hands.
- 36:15[SPEAKER_01]: You remember there was no that was
- 36:22[SPEAKER_02]: That's all right, I got my movies mixed up, but I think that's a big deal.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_02]: Now, there's a question from David R. And I like this question.
- 36:30[SPEAKER_02]: He wanted to know you're in my opinion, rookies, who will play the most?
- 36:36[SPEAKER_02]: This season is the question.
- 36:38[SPEAKER_02]: He says, quote, don't see it being to Sean Strippling in quote, who is for you that you think gets the most snaps plays the most this season.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_01]: Hmm, I think it's a toss-up between height and cotton.
- 36:53[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I agree.
- 36:55[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and those were my two as well, and because both are going to play.
- 36:59[SPEAKER_01]: Both are going to play.
- 37:01[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's so you have Grace halted.
- 37:03[SPEAKER_02]: It's going to be the Bravo group, right?
- 37:05[SPEAKER_02]: So you're you're talking 20 snaps a game.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_02]: And then you've got Romello.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_02]: Hi, he's your past Russian ask card guy.
- 37:12[SPEAKER_02]: Usually that's a little less.
- 37:13[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm going to go Grace halting because I don't know what you.
- 37:15[SPEAKER_01]: I'm waiting on that.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, Carver Willis, no doubt.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_02]: Dude, I, I, I, if he starts,
- 37:22[SPEAKER_02]: Johnny Dale loves him some Carver Willis and I'd love going through his film breakdowns of him.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_02]: I am very concerned about his past pro is run blocking I'm in love with.
- 37:30[SPEAKER_02]: I think his run blocking with instantaneously upgrade the run game for the 49ers.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_02]: But what that transition going from tackle to guard his anchor.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_02]: I don't like he's a waste bender.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_02]: I don't like I feel like he's got a lot of translation to his game that he's got to bring.
- 37:46[SPEAKER_02]: But man every run game snap it's like yep that's it yep that's it yep that's it.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_02]: Passpro.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a little out there, but I tell you, I think it couldn't come in and run block better than anybody else we got signing up.
- 38:04[SPEAKER_01]: Johnny signed me up.
- 38:05[SPEAKER_01]: He could learn to pass protection.
- 38:06[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to be next to the best month in the world.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_01]: He could learn that.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_02]: At Jake Piddlestop, bad at passpro, like Jake Piddlestop is pretty good at passpro.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_01]: It's run blocky.
- 38:15[SPEAKER_02]: It's the run blocky.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_02]: He would help in that.
- 38:17[SPEAKER_01]: So if you tell them me that Carver Willis would be the best option, because we got to run it before we passed the ball.
- 38:24[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that's the plan.
- 38:26[SPEAKER_01]: The plan is to, our rush to attack was terrible.
- 38:30[SPEAKER_01]: Well, like think about it.
- 38:31[SPEAKER_01]: Our furl, I gotta, I've got the time to look it up, but our first 100 yard rushing game came by mid-season, right?
- 38:42[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, let's see here.
- 38:43[SPEAKER_02]: I've got a crazy like just total 100 yards.
- 38:46[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no, I mean, from one running back.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_02]: My bad.
- 38:51[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so like the first game against Seattle total rush yards, 119 then you went one, two, three, four, five straight games without one.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_02]: And then the falcons, you didn't and then brindle got her and you had you one of your best rushing games ever against the giants, but oh, that was the fantasy and you did that on purpose.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_01]: That was funny.
- 39:10[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I mean, I just remember watching him just dominate Dexter Lawrence nonstop who got traded for a 10th round pick and, you know, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's perfect.
- 39:19[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, the 10th overall pick.
- 39:20[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, shoot, that's what it was like, that's what it was like, that's what it was like, that's what it was like, that's what it was like, that's what it was like, that's what it was like, that's what it was like, that's what it was like, that's what it was like, that's what it was like, that's what it was like, that's what it was like, that's what it was like, that's what it was like, that's what it was like, that's what it was like, that's what it was like, that's what it was like, that's what it was like, that's what it was like, that's what it was like, that
- 39:36[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I agree with you completely what that's got to look like a guard the anchor I still struggle with But yeah, the hip hips are tight But do that run blocking Chris Forster loves them.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_01]: Oh I think I think the battle between the left guard spot Would you say right now the pencil guy is Robert Jones?
- 40:00[SPEAKER_01]: That's the veteran.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_02]: I would take Robert Jones or Connor Colby consistency
- 40:05[SPEAKER_02]: right now, and allow Carver Willis to develop.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_02]: Now, the scene left guard start or guard start with Dominique Pony.
- 40:13[SPEAKER_02]: He's been super referred.
- 40:14[SPEAKER_02]: Like we've seen Ricky's get those started, but all of them were due to injuries.
- 40:18[SPEAKER_01]: Correct.
- 40:19[SPEAKER_02]: All of them were, but then they didn't hear the jobs.
- 40:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I don't want any, I don't want to hear anything about an injury.
- 40:26[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to ask God to give us one season.
- 40:28[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, we're doing okay right now.
- 40:30[SPEAKER_02]: We haven't had anybody tear their MCL after getting up out of a chair to wait room out of freaking I'm just saying this was easier.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I was Jeff wasn't doing didn't he tell you towards Achilles, right?
- 40:41[SPEAKER_02]: Again, this is MCL.
- 40:42[SPEAKER_02]: I
- 40:43[SPEAKER_01]: I thought it was the deal.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_01]: I thought it was a kill.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_01]: He's popped and might have been a knee and might have been a knee or the way if it's here.
- 40:49[SPEAKER_01]: I think it was a stool and there's something.
- 40:53[SPEAKER_01]: I've been way, you know?
- 40:55[SPEAKER_01]: That's why I thought it was a kill.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_01]: He's because he just went pop for whatever.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_01]: It is what it is.
- 41:00[SPEAKER_02]: Thomas, he's so inshots right here says anytime Chapman says I love such a touch of player, but Yep, that always raises my tip.
- 41:07[SPEAKER_02]: It's a bad thing because my my spiritual gift is backhanded compliments like I can say something really nice and then tear down a person has asked my children
- 41:21[SPEAKER_02]: It's what it is.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_02]: Peaches it down from the peachy, you are the best, you are the best.
- 41:25[SPEAKER_02]: All right, let's get to this Daniel Jeremiah, okay?
- 41:30[SPEAKER_02]: I just want to...
- 41:32[SPEAKER_02]: This is the grading rubric that Daniel Jeremiah put out there the roster that is required to build a championship foundation need these 12.
- 41:41[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_02]: So let's let's go through it.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_02]: Number one quarter back.
- 41:45[SPEAKER_02]: Do the 49ers have the quarterback checked off.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, we're good there.
- 41:50[SPEAKER_02]: He says three offensive playmakers do the 49ers have three offensive play.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_02]: That's a minimum.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_02]: That's not even throw it out there.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't get it right.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_02]: That beer saw.
- 42:06[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 42:08[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 42:08[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 42:09[SPEAKER_02]: Quality offensive lineman three.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_01]: They got two three.
- 42:14[SPEAKER_01]: They got three.
- 42:14[SPEAKER_01]: They got three.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_01]: They got three.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_01]: They got three too.
- 42:16[SPEAKER_01]: They got a tranquil and in dominant.
- 42:18[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 42:18[SPEAKER_02]: That's three.
- 42:20[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 42:21[SPEAKER_01]: We checking out four boxes.
- 42:23[SPEAKER_01]: I need the sound.
- 42:24[SPEAKER_01]: I don't have it all.
- 42:25[SPEAKER_02]: You did the sound.
- 42:26[SPEAKER_02]: I thought we were going to do this.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, you heard it.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_01]: I can't hear it.
- 42:29[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 42:30[SPEAKER_01]: My bad.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_02]: That's the survey says.
- 42:33[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 42:34[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 42:34[SPEAKER_02]: It turns around.
- 42:35[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 42:35[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 42:35[SPEAKER_01]: Well, as you can hear, that's that's the end of that matter.
- 42:37[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 42:38[SPEAKER_02]: Two pass rushers.
- 42:41[SPEAKER_01]: We got it.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_01]: Both also, right?
- 42:44[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 42:45[SPEAKER_01]: Did Daniel Jeremiah do this just for us.
- 42:48[SPEAKER_02]: No, no, he put this out, just, you know, he wants to if you lower his standards.
- 42:52[SPEAKER_02]: That's what I'm saying, because we, we, we checking off a lot of boxes right now, but I think rightfully so like, keep going.
- 42:59[SPEAKER_02]: This is a damn good roster.
- 43:00[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 43:00[SPEAKER_02]: The last one is three defensive playmakers.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_02]: This one's a little vague.
- 43:07[SPEAKER_01]: We are not vague because you got a big play-dry.
- 43:10[SPEAKER_01]: You got Fred Warner, Hunter.
- 43:12[SPEAKER_02]: He's got a diameter of an ore. Yeah, those were the three I went with that weren't past russures, right?
- 43:17[SPEAKER_02]: Because I didn't want to double dip.
- 43:21[SPEAKER_02]: You know what I mean, and so you've got also also pass rusher's and you've got defense of playmakers and what's interesting to me is You even have some close to filling in because pass rusher's what about Romero height what if he is what we hope he is That could qualify as pass rusher.
- 43:39[SPEAKER_02]: What if Malik Mustafa returns and is finally consistent?
- 43:44[SPEAKER_02]: You know the splash plays are there, but can you eliminate the negatives?
- 43:47[SPEAKER_02]: Well, that's four defense of playmakers
- 43:50[SPEAKER_02]: Offits of Playmakers.
- 43:51[SPEAKER_02]: What if Ricky Pierce all stays healthy?
- 43:53[SPEAKER_02]: Then guess what?
- 43:53[SPEAKER_02]: You talked about the explosives and all that kind of stuff.
- 43:56[SPEAKER_02]: What if a black K-lon black or, you know, James or somebody steps up as an extra like the 49ers meet this threshold of 12 1 quarterback 3 offensive playmakers 3 O line 2 pass rush or 3 defense of them meet the threshold.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_02]: That we didn't come up with this is Daniel Jeremiah exercise, but I'm just sitting there and like dude, I think they have two quarterbacks like I'm sitting here saying they have 15 not 12 and that's why I'm just like the optimism around 2026 in this offseason now they haven't even practiced yet, they haven't practiced yet, but at this point last year if we jump if we go 88 miles per hour in our jewelry and we jump back to 2025.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_02]: Dude, I don't feel this way.
- 44:45[SPEAKER_02]: I don't feel this way last year.
- 44:47[SPEAKER_01]: Kim, no, okay, okay, can we do the, we have time to do the exercise?
- 44:51[SPEAKER_01]: Is it?
- 44:52[SPEAKER_01]: Let's do it.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_01]: All right, it's good last year.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_01]: Go back to the beginning.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_01]: We got the quarterback.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_01]: Check.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_02]: Check.
- 44:59[SPEAKER_02]: Off it's a playmaker.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_02]: You got kiddo.
- 45:01[SPEAKER_02]: You got kiddo.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, MC.
- 45:04[SPEAKER_02]: That's it.
- 45:04[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't put Joanne Chinese in that.
- 45:06[SPEAKER_01]: Really, come on, John.
- 45:08[SPEAKER_02]: Dude, he has one of the lowest yards per catch.
- 45:10[SPEAKER_02]: Most drops.
- 45:11[SPEAKER_02]: Most hitters.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_02]: He got the first chance.
- 45:15[SPEAKER_02]: He almost had a thousand yards.
- 45:18[SPEAKER_02]: Again, almost had a thousand yards.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_02]: It's not a wide receiver playmaker for me.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_02]: I love you, Juan.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_02]: This dude was the guy, I just did it again.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you did the butt.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_01]: But he was the king and third down bro.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_01]: Whenever you needed the third down conversion, his dude was clutch bro.
- 45:34[SPEAKER_01]: Cadacet the most consistent clutch guy I've ever met in my life.
- 45:38[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 45:39[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, that's fair.
- 45:41[SPEAKER_01]: And this is a good debate, but like, we're gonna keep here so I'm more of a playmaker than Juan Jennings.
- 45:47[SPEAKER_02]: when he was out there, yeah, but no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 46:07[SPEAKER_01]: that's fair.
- 46:07[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 46:08[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, here we go.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_02]: We were talking to IU for turning as a playmaker.
- 46:11[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't think IU was playing for a long time.
- 46:13[SPEAKER_02]: I've known Matt Mayoco.
- 46:14[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.
- 46:14[SPEAKER_02]: He's going to start week one.
- 46:16[SPEAKER_02]: I left my ass off when that came out.
- 46:18[SPEAKER_02]: Or mad at me.
- 46:20[SPEAKER_02]: I got a lot of hate because I was like, there is no way in hell, Brandon, I used playing week one and play a week one this year.
- 46:28[SPEAKER_01]: So two is right.
- 46:29[SPEAKER_01]: Go back to the
- 46:35[SPEAKER_01]: You had him.
- 46:36[SPEAKER_01]: You didn't.
- 46:36[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 46:36[SPEAKER_01]: You had no.
- 46:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_01]: You had Bryce Huff and you had Nick Bosa.
- 46:41[SPEAKER_01]: new specifically signed price up to rush to pass or broke.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_01]: That was the whole idea.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_01]: He was the opposite of Nick Bosa and he was supposed to feast.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_01]: And he was having a great hell of a start to the season.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_01]: And then Nick Bosa got hurt.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_01]: He became a starter.
- 46:57[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 46:58[SPEAKER_02]: I'll give it to you.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_01]: When you have it on the interior, put you had it on the edge.
- 47:04[SPEAKER_02]: Defense of Playmakers.
- 47:06[SPEAKER_01]: had the same you know you didn't you have to.
- 47:08[SPEAKER_01]: You have to.
- 47:09[SPEAKER_02]: You have to.
- 47:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 47:09[SPEAKER_01]: The I'm drilling.
- 47:11[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 47:11[SPEAKER_02]: So Malik, I think we would have considered Malik to be one last year, but I don't think that he took a step up.
- 47:17[SPEAKER_01]: He did not.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_01]: He did not.
- 47:19[SPEAKER_02]: Coming off that injury.
- 47:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 47:21[SPEAKER_01]: Coming off the ACR.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_02]: Let's look at this law of all.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_02]: Wait, you're so figure.
- 47:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, I'm gonna make sure I stay on the good side.
- 47:31[SPEAKER_01]: It is good.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_02]: She That's good.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, good content.
- 47:37[SPEAKER_02]: So all this to say like, okay.
- 47:41[SPEAKER_02]: I think now even if we gave it to Joanne, even if we gave it to Malik, even if we gave it to Ayyuk
- 47:48[SPEAKER_02]: You're talking barely 12 last year versus 15 this year.
- 47:53[SPEAKER_02]: And with a lot of optimistic question marks, Caitlin Black, Jordan James, like, can Ricky Pierce all get there?
- 47:59[SPEAKER_02]: Can't like, there's just so many like, can they, can they, can they, can they?
- 48:02[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 48:03[SPEAKER_02]: And we'll see, we'll see, but I feel confident.
- 48:08[SPEAKER_02]: My biggest question mark with the 49ers has nothing to do with the 49ers.
- 48:13[SPEAKER_02]: It's that they're in the toughest division in maybe ever.
- 48:18[SPEAKER_01]: He is down.
- 48:19[SPEAKER_02]: See how C.O.X.
- 48:19[SPEAKER_02]: are badass.
- 48:20[SPEAKER_02]: Now, I think they took a couple steps back.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_02]: The Rams are badass, but they wasted their first round traffic for this year.
- 48:26[SPEAKER_02]: Like, but I think that the three favorites for the Super Bowl should all be in this division.
- 48:32[SPEAKER_02]: I really, really do.
- 48:33[SPEAKER_02]: I think the three best teams in the NFL are all in this division.
- 48:36[SPEAKER_02]: That is my biggest question mark with the 49ers heading into 2026.
- 48:45[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 48:45[SPEAKER_01]: It's gonna be a tough tough.
- 48:48[SPEAKER_01]: I know our skin.
- 48:49[SPEAKER_01]: It's gonna be a tough.
- 48:49[SPEAKER_01]: It's gonna be a tough season.
- 48:51[SPEAKER_01]: But the Niners.
- 48:53[SPEAKER_01]: I think are built for this for this.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_01]: I really do.
- 48:56[SPEAKER_01]: I really think they're built for it.
- 48:58[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm excited to see what they bring to the table.
- 49:01[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm tired of saying, barring health, but we all know if we come into this season, healthier than we were last season, sky's the mother-free government, with new players and the old players.
- 49:15[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm excited to see what shows up, week one, and I'll strow you.
- 49:20[SPEAKER_01]: Really yeah.
- 49:22[SPEAKER_02]: I am too.
- 49:22[SPEAKER_02]: Look at this.
- 49:23[SPEAKER_02]: Jadi Dali says my biggest question mark is Dustin Perry zero confidence eight seasons in a row With the 49er six as the head of strengthened conditioning coach Terrible to they fired somebody else and promoted him.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_02]: He's been with him on dead great seasons You wouldn't be like he was in charge of your health
- 49:44[SPEAKER_01]: he's got those pictures, man.
- 49:45[SPEAKER_01]: Like what happened was to sell your phones, man.
- 49:48[SPEAKER_01]: They had iPads and stuff, and stuff got shared on the, on the, on the, all the devices.
- 49:53[SPEAKER_01]: And he got something.
- 49:54[SPEAKER_02]: Let's get his loyalty program.
- 49:56[SPEAKER_01]: He gets, man, he should be gone.
- 49:58[SPEAKER_02]: Better or worse.
- 49:59[SPEAKER_01]: That's a deafdo as part, man.
- 50:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I got you.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_01]: Damn, they fired the other guy was a scapegoat and he gets promoted.
- 50:09[SPEAKER_01]: Got you.
- 50:10[SPEAKER_02]: What would you say you do here?
- 50:14[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'm going back to office space on that one.
- 50:17[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, right here.
- 50:18[SPEAKER_02]: Johnny, he's he's freaking Pablo reports over here.
- 50:22[SPEAKER_02]: He says, yeah, he worked with Lynch and is married to Matt LaFloris cousin.
- 50:26[SPEAKER_02]: Well, Matt LaFloris ahead coach, go be with him.
- 50:29[SPEAKER_02]: Go be with him.
- 50:30[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you're way over there.
- 50:32[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 50:34[SPEAKER_01]: He sucks so bad.
- 50:35[SPEAKER_01]: They won't give him a job.
- 50:38[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, man.
- 50:39[SPEAKER_02]: Sorry.
- 50:39[SPEAKER_02]: I wish Kyle Shetty had treated more people like he did Steve Wilkes.
- 50:45[SPEAKER_01]: I just, yeah, I mean, come on Kyle.
- 50:49[SPEAKER_02]: I don't like people loosen their jobs.
- 50:51[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not advocating for that.
- 50:53[SPEAKER_01]: But they should lose their jobs if they suck.
- 50:55[SPEAKER_01]: You got to look at your job and say,
- 50:59[SPEAKER_01]: 98% of the teams on the IR broke, like some, yeah, bro, I got it, you got, what do we want me to do?
- 51:09[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's why I worked for myself because I know I'm not good, but I don't have to I'm on the Jerry Jones Employment plan where he's like, yeah, if I was you know hired by somebody else I should have been fired a long time ago, but I'm gonna fire myself That's what it is taste of how do you guys feel about cam-jording my favorite non-45 49ers player in the NFL currently was not with the team.
- 51:31[SPEAKER_02]: He's still out there.
- 51:32[SPEAKER_02]: I would love that But they got to see what they have in house
- 51:35[SPEAKER_02]: And that's why I think you wait and I don't think Cam Jordan wants to do a training camp.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_02]: That's when those guys wait for training camp and to see if there's an injury if they can, you know, kind of capitalize on that.
- 51:47[SPEAKER_02]: So I don't think there's going to be really any more movement, especially with big free age signings.
- 51:54[SPEAKER_02]: You might get some back into the roster guys added just to
- 52:03[SPEAKER_02]: Don't expect to see those for a while unless there's a major injury, so like don't hold your breath for Joey Bosa or you know any of those big they want to see what they have in house and they're going to see that tomorrow for sure and give it time stuff happens plays will be signed.
- 52:19[SPEAKER_02]: That's right.
- 52:20[SPEAKER_02]: And the words of Tinsel, Washington, and Man on Fire, I wish you had more time.
- 52:27[SPEAKER_02]: Wayne, you are the best of the best.
- 52:29[SPEAKER_02]: You put a smile on my face all day today, and I'm very thankful for what you bring to the community.
- 52:34[SPEAKER_02]: But knock us out of this show, my friend.
- 52:36[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, the paths don't come on tomorrow, but the players report and that is most important because they're reporting healthy and ready to go.
- 52:45[SPEAKER_01]: We go have some fun this season, faithful.
- 52:47[SPEAKER_01]: Get ready.
- 52:47[SPEAKER_01]: Get your tickets locked loaded right here.
- 52:49[SPEAKER_01]: 49 is rush.
- 52:51[SPEAKER_01]: Be way breezy to the next time.
- 52:53[SPEAKER_01]: Keep it faithful to the bay.
