Latest / Christ Himself - A Daily Devotional
Evening — October 6 — 1 Samuel 3:17
“What was the message He gave you?” Eli asked. “Do not hide it from me. May God punish you, and ever so severely, if you hide from me anything He said to you.” — 1 Samuel 3:17
God's requirement for justice, mercy, and humility cannot be met by human effort—only by the perfect obedience of Christ. So His Word comes not to burden us but to reveal our need and point us to the Savior who fulfilled it all. In humble listening, we find not condemnation but the gift of righteousness.
