- 0:01Speaker 1: Tuesday, No Wednesday, yesterday. I was saying, Krats, you missed it.
- 0:07Speaker 1: Right before we started, I said, yesterday.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Was, and then we went live. You missed it. That's
- 0:12Speaker 2: what happens. Yeah, when we're not so.
- 0:16Speaker 1: I know, crazy, Yesterday was Tuesday, today's Wednesday. On FT
- 0:20Speaker 1: Hello everyone, Yesterday, though, was a very popular day for
- 0:26Speaker 1: foul territory on social media. We're going to get into
- 0:29Speaker 1: a few of the reasons why, but one of them
- 0:31Speaker 1: right at the top. Mister Kratz had a lot of
- 0:33Speaker 1: attention for his little Tatis comment, and all of Twitter
- 0:39Speaker 1: said that oll all of Padre's Twitter that defends him
- 0:45Speaker 1: was saying, how dumb Krats is because hard hit rate
- 0:48Speaker 1: has to do with how strong you are, so he's
- 0:51Speaker 1: still strong. So steroids had nothing to do with the power,
- 0:55Speaker 1: because that's how things work. You don't look at exit velocity, Krats.
- 1:00Speaker 1: That was the I'm an idiot message from the defenders.
- 1:05Speaker 3: I'm an idiot. So it's one of those things I've
- 1:09Speaker 3: been I've been told I'm wrong before. And you know what,
- 1:13Speaker 3: maybe I don't know ball maybe all that stuff, maybe
- 1:16Speaker 3: launch angle, all that, you know, Maybe I missed it.
- 1:19Speaker 3: I should have studied more. I should have done more
- 1:21Speaker 3: research into what goes into hitting a baseball. I really should.
- 1:25Speaker 3: Maybe tatists just should start swinging up and stop hitting
- 1:29Speaker 3: the ball on the ground. That is totally Itugh, what
- 1:34Speaker 3: an idiot I am.
- 1:37Speaker 1: I'm saying this like having fun with it, but in
- 1:39Speaker 1: all seriousness a j There's a majority of people that
- 1:43Speaker 1: take statistics I don't even say so seriously, like in
- 1:47Speaker 1: such a way that they don't understand the complexion of
- 1:49Speaker 1: the game. They're like, oh, well, this person hits the
- 1:51Speaker 1: ball the hardest. That means they're the strongest, and even
- 1:54Speaker 1: if it goes in the ground, that's okay. So like
- 1:56Speaker 1: the name of the game I guess in the mind
- 1:58Speaker 1: of some of these people is like, at the pitch
- 2:00Speaker 1: and just hammer it into the ground. And whoever does
- 2:03Speaker 1: that the best, has the best exit be low, and
- 2:06Speaker 1: is the best player with or without enhancements.
- 2:09Speaker 3: Well, isn't this the Yankees development process that we have
- 2:14Speaker 3: talked about a couple of years ago. Just always promote
- 2:16Speaker 3: the guys at the highest exit you low?
- 2:17Speaker 2: Yeah, but in the air, it's funny.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Is most of the ball the hardest hip balls? Not
- 2:25Speaker 3: all of them, but a lot of the hardest hip
- 2:27Speaker 3: balls are actually ground balls, right, Yes.
- 2:31Speaker 2: This is the point.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Don't you think that sometimes that actually messes up the
- 2:35Speaker 1: whole exit velocity conversation.
- 2:38Speaker 2: Isn't there a pretty big.
- 2:39Speaker 3: Commenting on it because the analytics haters will come after me.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Isn't there a pretty big difference between will hitting the
- 2:44Speaker 1: ball hard in the air?
- 2:45Speaker 3: I want a guy that hits the ball hard in
- 2:47Speaker 3: the air, and I want a guy that can hit
- 2:48Speaker 3: line drives because you can turn line drives into home runs.
- 2:52Speaker 3: Ground balls are hard to get up into the air?
- 2:54Speaker 3: Is the usually on the ground? That was one of
- 2:57Speaker 3: the big arguments, right. I remember at the end of
- 3:01Speaker 3: his career, Eric Cosmer, that was like that was like
- 3:04Speaker 3: the big thing with him, right, that he hits the
- 3:06Speaker 3: ball really hard, but he hits a lot of ground balls.
- 3:07Speaker 3: How do we get the ball into the air? And
- 3:09Speaker 3: you know, people went back and forth and back and
- 3:11Speaker 3: forth about Eric Cosmer being I mean, Eric Cosm was
- 3:13Speaker 3: a good player, so it wasn't like he was crappy player.
- 3:17Speaker 3: But I don't know. I mean, I think the most
- 3:19Speaker 3: hard hit balls, not most A lot A lot of
- 3:21Speaker 3: hard hit balls are hitt into the ground because you
- 3:25Speaker 3: just catch him. If you want to teach someone how
- 3:27Speaker 3: to get launch angle with hitting it hard, then you
- 3:29Speaker 3: got some special But that's the hardest thing because you
- 3:31Speaker 3: have to be able to just constantly catch it out
- 3:33Speaker 3: front to get both. And that's a hard thing to
- 3:36Speaker 3: do because you swing and miss.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Jordan Walker has figured that out, but most don't. And
- 3:40Speaker 1: you're right with Hosmer. It was actually kind of mid
- 3:42Speaker 1: career when he hit free agency. And then you have
- 3:45Speaker 1: everybody who knows swings and stats better than a major
- 3:49Speaker 1: league player saying, well, it's easy. He hits the ball
- 3:51Speaker 1: hard on the ground and he's going to go somewhere
- 3:53Speaker 1: else and he's going to hit it hard in the air,
- 3:54Speaker 1: and he's going to be a superstar, the best player
- 3:56Speaker 1: in the sport.
- 3:57Speaker 2: And it didn't happen.
- 3:59Speaker 3: That's what was totally missed yesterday. Everybody heard the part
- 4:03Speaker 3: that they didn't want to hear and commented on it,
- 4:06Speaker 3: and they missed everything that, Like aj just said that
- 4:09Speaker 3: I had said yesterday, like, you catch the ball out front,
- 4:12Speaker 3: that's how you start elevating the ball. You really the
- 4:15Speaker 3: swing is a very flat swing. A good swing is
- 4:19Speaker 3: a flat swing. It's just the contact point where that
- 4:22Speaker 3: ball gets elevated. How you stay through it, how that
- 4:25Speaker 3: ball gets elevated. And you know, for the people analytic haters,
- 4:29Speaker 3: no like analytics and old school scouting love dudes that
- 4:33Speaker 3: hit the ball hard like there's no minute. It's like
- 4:36Speaker 3: that guy hits the ball too hard. Don't want them
- 4:38Speaker 3: on my team.
- 4:39Speaker 2: No.
- 4:40Speaker 3: Like of course, Fernando Tatisa's hitting the ball hard. That
- 4:44Speaker 3: is great, means he's making great barrel contact. Where is
- 4:47Speaker 3: he making a barrel contact? I would say probably a
- 4:50Speaker 3: tick too deep. One of the things that they talked
- 4:53Speaker 3: to Yandi Diaz about when he came over from the Guardians,
- 4:56Speaker 3: when I played it with him with the Indians when
- 4:58Speaker 3: he came over to the Rays. Don't change a thing
- 5:01Speaker 3: about your flat three degree launch angle swing. We want
- 5:05Speaker 3: you to try to catch a few balls out front.
- 5:08Speaker 3: We want you to stay hitting the ball of the
- 5:10Speaker 3: opposite field. But here's this contact point that will change it.
- 5:14Speaker 3: Like those are things like it's but I love it,
- 5:19Speaker 3: padre fans. I love that you guys have all deleted
- 5:22Speaker 3: foul territory and my backwards hat and my negative point
- 5:27Speaker 3: one baseball reference war.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Hey, let's talk Sekek for a few minutes while the
- 5:36Speaker 1: TV crawts and break tickets, tickets, catch your tickets, you
- 5:41Speaker 1: know the code.
- 5:41Speaker 2: But where are we going.
- 5:44Speaker 3: Tonight?
- 5:45Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 5:45Speaker 3: I want to watch the White Sox win again.
- 5:48Speaker 2: That's fine. I like to usually look at the pitching.
- 5:52Speaker 3: I mean, you want to watch your Tani obviously pitch.
- 5:54Speaker 3: He's not gonna hit though, so that's kind Tony.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Versus Ray to see Ray's potential audition for teams who
- 6:00Speaker 1: starts y?
- 6:02Speaker 2: Yeah to seven six r Rah.
- 6:04Speaker 3: Dylan Cees is pitching tonight. That's always fun to watch
- 6:06Speaker 3: him pitch against the Rays, who've been white hot.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Yeah, and the Jays came back yesterday and then the
- 6:12Speaker 1: race still topped him an extra so that they could
- 6:14Speaker 1: use a Dylan c stock.
- 6:15Speaker 3: They were down five nothing and they tied it and
- 6:16Speaker 3: then they lost an extras, which is a kick in
- 6:19Speaker 3: the nuts.
- 6:19Speaker 2: You know their record, by the way against the Rays
- 6:21Speaker 2: this year, the chase five five start, I think it's five.
- 6:27Speaker 2: They lost three and then they've lost two in this one.
- 6:29Speaker 2: I think it's five. No.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Schultz, by the way, pitching for the White Sox. I
- 6:32Speaker 1: know he's you know, getting himself together and he's six
- 6:35Speaker 1: foot million.
- 6:36Speaker 3: But Braves is always fun.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Yes, Michael King against the Miz. Yeah, that's tonight too.
- 6:43Speaker 1: I mean, there's that's the one. There's good tickets tonight,
- 6:48Speaker 1: there is.
- 6:49Speaker 3: I mean, but it's rivalry. It's supposed to be rivalries
- 6:52Speaker 3: like kind of renewed this week weekend Rodgers and Giants.
- 6:56Speaker 3: I don't care if it's the weekend. Yeah, I know
- 6:59Speaker 3: the weekend is rival right, but right now they're doing
- 7:04Speaker 3: like the Bobo rivalry. So the only good rivalry is
- 7:07Speaker 3: Dodgers Dodgers Giants right now, like and the Giants, this
- 7:12Speaker 3: is the best time to play the Dodgers for them.
- 7:13Speaker 3: The Dodgers are as realing as much as the Dodgers
- 7:17Speaker 3: can reel. But the other like rivalries the Phillies, the
- 7:21Speaker 3: Phillies Red Sox rivalry. When I played for them, I'm like,
- 7:24Speaker 3: how is this like this is just I don't I
- 7:27Speaker 3: don't understand it.
- 7:30Speaker 1: I just know there's a lot of great games to
- 7:31Speaker 1: watch tonight, and I like to once a show just
- 7:34Speaker 1: let everyone know what you got on the docket. So
- 7:37Speaker 1: Sea Geek is MLB's official ticket marketplace. Tickets are fully guaranteed,

- 8:01Speaker 1: Thank you to see geek yep. Good job fans. You
- 8:05Speaker 1: guys know everything. And in honor of those special fans,
- 8:08Speaker 1: I'm going to ask this question to almost every guest
- 8:11Speaker 1: this week and get their take on why they think
- 8:13Speaker 1: Katiz hasn't hit any home runs this year. But here's
- 8:16Speaker 1: somebody who is really freaking good at his job and
- 8:21Speaker 1: has not slumped. Besides, I guess the first start, let's charge.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Amount, let's charge out.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Yeah, And even that first start for Paul Skeens had
- 8:31Speaker 1: a little bit of an O'Neil Cruz problem. Cruise actually
- 8:34Speaker 1: playing better at least in the last week or two
- 8:36Speaker 1: in the outfield from what I've seen. But let's talk
- 8:38Speaker 1: Skeens after his first start pitching Ninja Rob Friedman said
- 8:44Speaker 1: sixty seven and a half thera now it's one nine
- 8:47Speaker 1: to eight and word quorder into the season. His career
- 8:50Speaker 1: era is one nine to seven. He hasn't walked about
- 8:52Speaker 1: her in a month. He shoved against yes the Rockies.
- 8:55Speaker 1: But he's doing skiings things again. And do you feel
- 9:01Speaker 1: like when you're watching him now at these starts, he's
- 9:03Speaker 1: getting more comfortable in his skin if showing personality and
- 9:06Speaker 1: almost making it look easy. Like in the beginning, I
- 9:08Speaker 1: felt like he was like man on a mission. And
- 9:10Speaker 1: now when I'm watching him, I'm like, he's kind of
- 9:12Speaker 1: having fun with this because he's just so much better
- 9:14Speaker 1: than almost anyone else.
- 9:16Speaker 3: I loved yesterday when someone butting on him, He's like
- 9:18Speaker 3: nice Ethan Bunt.
- 9:22Speaker 2: He was really cash like, he wasn't pissed. He smiled
- 9:27Speaker 2: at him like well.
- 9:27Speaker 3: He was just like are He's like, they can't hit me,
- 9:29Speaker 3: so they got a butne listen he looks good. No
- 9:33Speaker 3: walk The key is no walks. He doesn't walk. Anybody.
- 9:36Speaker 3: If you don't walk, anybody have a hard time getting
- 9:38Speaker 3: three hits in a row off Paul schemes. And that's
- 9:41Speaker 3: the one thing he doesn't do. He doesn't walk. He
- 9:42Speaker 3: doesn't give free bases. He feels his position, he holds runners,
- 9:46Speaker 3: He basically does all the things that a really good
- 9:49Speaker 3: picture should be able to do. And he also throws
- 9:51Speaker 3: a hundred and he throws all his pictures for strikes,
- 9:54Speaker 3: and he could throw multiple quadrants and he I mean,
- 9:56Speaker 3: he looks like he's like the guy if you went
- 10:00Speaker 3: to eleven said we're going to make a picture, and
- 10:02Speaker 3: we want to make a really almost perfect picture, it
- 10:05Speaker 3: would be Paul Schemes. I mean, there's this like when
- 10:11Speaker 3: Castro bunned, he had eight punchouts at that time, Like
- 10:15Speaker 3: it's a good idea. Somebody's dominating you, you should bunt.
- 10:18Speaker 3: Like that's a good idea. Like if you have bunting
- 10:20Speaker 3: in your game, that's it. And to me, where Paul skiings.
- 10:26Speaker 3: I think he gets lost in this world of strikeouts
- 10:31Speaker 3: because everyone goes for the strikeouts. The difference is he's
- 10:35Speaker 3: doing it efficiently. He's doing it in the zone. And
- 10:38Speaker 3: when you have guys that can get out in the zone,
- 10:41Speaker 3: that's really good, probably an all star. When you have
- 10:44Speaker 3: guys who can get strikeouts in the zone against big
- 10:47Speaker 3: league hitters, and you don't just need to rely on Chase,
- 10:50Speaker 3: you're talking elite level and that's why he's one of
- 10:53Speaker 3: the top two pitchers in the game. And if you
- 10:55Speaker 3: argue he's a top one, great. If you argue he's
- 10:58Speaker 3: the second best pitcher in the game, great, you are
- 11:01Speaker 3: not wrong.
- 11:03Speaker 1: He's getting a little more run support, not a ton more,
- 11:05Speaker 1: but a little more. And now I know he didn't
- 11:10Speaker 1: need much, and they got some early action for him,
- 11:12Speaker 1: like there was. I'll give you an example of a
- 11:14Speaker 1: guy that I was watching and trying to just dive
- 11:16Speaker 1: into a little bit more because he was a first
- 11:18Speaker 1: round pick and hasn't gotten a lot of attention. Nickn
- 11:21Speaker 1: Zalez batting average runners in scoring position with the Pirates
- 11:24Speaker 1: this year is about four hundred. Like you just see
- 11:27Speaker 1: him up and contributing at those moments. He did it
- 11:29Speaker 1: again in the win here. He was the one who
- 11:32Speaker 1: drove in the first run. He has no home runs
- 11:34Speaker 1: on the year, but he's doing the little things in
- 11:38Speaker 1: his at bats at the right times to give them support.
- 11:41Speaker 1: And all of a sudden, when you look at Paul Skens,
- 11:45Speaker 1: forget a run. We're going into starts now where he's
- 11:48Speaker 1: not giving up a hit for most of his outings.
- 11:52Speaker 2: Into the seventh tier.
- 11:52Speaker 3: He's starting to figure it out. Yeah, strying to figure
- 11:56Speaker 3: it out a little bit.
- 11:56Speaker 2: He's gonna have a no hitter soon.
- 11:58Speaker 3: Do you think I can't say that? Why you just
- 12:01Speaker 3: can't say that? Well, there are certain guys that never
- 12:04Speaker 3: have no hitters. You're like, oh, this guy definitely should
- 12:06Speaker 3: throw a no hitter, and they never do.
- 12:07Speaker 2: He's gonna get one, Okay. I just feel like I
- 12:11Speaker 2: think he's gonna get one this year.
- 12:13Speaker 3: Wow, Okay, Scott. Every day Paul Skins pitches, I'm throwing
- 12:18Speaker 3: down on no hitter for Paul Skins. Okay, you should
- 12:21Speaker 3: end of the year. Is that right, I'm doing that.
- 12:24Speaker 3: I'm I'm looking, I'm looking. But to me last night,
- 12:28Speaker 3: here's why a no hitter is so tough. That first
- 12:31Speaker 3: hit should not have been a hit. Brian Reynolds or
- 12:35Speaker 3: O'Neil Cruz should have caught that ball now. O'Neil Cruz
- 12:39Speaker 3: ran the one down in the other gap when he
- 12:41Speaker 3: was shaded the left center. But like, you need, you
- 12:46Speaker 3: need more than just domination, and I don't think I
- 12:50Speaker 3: think sometimes like you watch some of the better pitchers
- 12:53Speaker 3: that didn't get no hitters or that like took forever
- 12:56Speaker 3: to get a no hitter, in their Hall of Fame.
- 12:58Speaker 3: Pitchers like they attack the zone. They're not afraid of
- 13:02Speaker 3: winning two to nothing and just attacking the zone first pitch,
- 13:07Speaker 3: and that's when you give up the hit. It's the
- 13:08Speaker 3: guys that like sometimes can just get up to ninety
- 13:12Speaker 3: pitches through seven innings because they're just trying to punch
- 13:15Speaker 3: out the world. I just think it's it's hard. I
- 13:18Speaker 3: agree with you, he's going to get a no hitter.
- 13:20Speaker 3: So I'm still looking for your no hitter bid.
- 13:24Speaker 1: Well, it's harder to do because they're gonna post it
- 13:26Speaker 1: usually on the start day, So if you're looking.
- 13:30Speaker 3: I'm just looking at general.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:32Speaker 3: I don't think they'll give him much more.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I can tell you, like in a prior market,
- 13:37Speaker 1: what bet MGM did, it was plus twenty five thousand.
- 13:41Speaker 3: Yeah, pretty much everybody that I'm seeing today is at
- 13:46Speaker 3: plus twenty five thousand. So we're gonna hit. We're gonna
- 13:50Speaker 3: hit on it at some point this year, and we're
- 13:52Speaker 3: gonna get paid.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:53Speaker 1: I mean, when Eh shutout two hits ten strikeouts and
- 13:59Speaker 1: Jack Jones is rehabbing nicely in the minor leagues for
- 14:03Speaker 1: the Pirates, that's good.
- 14:05Speaker 3: Yeah, that'll help he's back, he comes back.
- 14:07Speaker 2: Yeah, we're starting to feel.
- 14:11Speaker 3: Jones Keller schemes.
- 14:12Speaker 2: Bubba Chandler is there is there enough here?
- 14:16Speaker 3: Bubba Chandler's gotta throw more strikes if he's gonna if
- 14:19Speaker 3: he's going to really compete in the postseason. We're talking
- 14:21Speaker 3: about the postseason.
- 14:23Speaker 1: No, forget the postseason, dude, No, no, no, no, whoa whoa
- 14:26Speaker 1: whoa whoa whoa?
- 14:27Speaker 3: Just make the playoffs.
- 14:29Speaker 1: Yes, Pittsburgh just wants to see the playoffs first. Then
- 14:33Speaker 1: we'll start to get greedy. Can this team make the playoffs?
- 14:36Speaker 1: And the thing for me that I think stands out
- 14:39Speaker 1: is yes, the National League has some strength, but some
- 14:42Speaker 1: of the teams that have surprised might fall off, like
- 14:45Speaker 1: Saint Louis. Right, Like Pittsburgh has better pitching than Saint Louis,
- 14:48Speaker 1: or at least it should.
- 14:50Speaker 2: So. Can the Pirates make a.
- 14:53Speaker 3: Little Cubs, Brewers are going to get in? I agree,
- 14:57Speaker 3: I mean, Braves, Dodgers. There's four Padres five okay, so
- 15:03Speaker 3: you already have five so no, so the answers know them.
- 15:06Speaker 3: One of the Phillies, Reds, Mets, no way, one of
- 15:12Speaker 3: those teams, yeah, or Pirates.
- 15:18Speaker 2: I think the Pirates have a better shot than the Mets.
- 15:20Speaker 1: I don't think they have a better shot than the Phillies,
- 15:22Speaker 1: and I think they're probably in the similar range.
- 15:24Speaker 2: As the Reds. Okay, do you agree? Yeah, I don't
- 15:29Speaker 2: know what.
- 15:29Speaker 3: Phillies are starting to do it now?
- 15:31Speaker 2: They are, They're good, They're good. Next.
- 15:34Speaker 3: It's just that simple, just to change the manager.
- 15:37Speaker 2: Yeah, because you got to shock the system and say players.
- 15:41Speaker 3: Or play the Rockies, Red Sox and Giants, Marlins. Don't
- 15:46Speaker 3: forget the Marlins, the Marlins. Here comes the Marlins fans
- 15:50Speaker 3: after a j.
- 15:54Speaker 1: Strength of schedule. Wait, can we show that one graphic
- 15:57Speaker 1: on the way out here? Or didn't show it already?
- 15:59Speaker 1: Every picture in Big League history to have a five
- 16:01Speaker 1: start span with thirty eight strikeouts and no walks thirty
- 16:05Speaker 1: eight plus strikeouts Pedro, Shilling, Klueberg, darbish Burns, Corman, Garrett Cole,
- 16:13Speaker 1: Kevin Gosman, and Schemes this year.
- 16:16Speaker 3: There's one guy on that list that really surprises me.
- 16:21Speaker 3: You Darvish. Yep, because of the walk no walks for
- 16:26Speaker 3: him in five starts. That's like because he could walk
- 16:30Speaker 3: them with the best of them. He'd walk through and
- 16:31Speaker 3: strike out three that's literally what AJ was trying to
- 16:34Speaker 3: tell him all of twenty thirteen, twelve thirteen, just throw
- 16:40Speaker 3: it in the zone. And he was a guy. He
- 16:42Speaker 3: was a guy during that time. I remember facing in
- 16:45Speaker 3: fourteen where I was like, oh lord, he's just going
- 16:49Speaker 3: to keep throwing the ball right down the middle and
- 16:51Speaker 3: I don't know if I have a chance to hit it.
- 16:53Speaker 3: And I BoNT it off of him my third at bat.
- 16:55Speaker 3: That's literally I was like, he had thrown me three
- 16:58Speaker 3: pitches each first have bats, and all of them went
- 17:01Speaker 3: different directions, and they were all at ninety two to
- 17:04Speaker 3: ninety four miles an hour. One went straight down, one
- 17:07Speaker 3: went to the other way, and one went the other way.
- 17:09Speaker 3: And I was like, uh, this isn't good for me. Yes,
- 17:17Speaker 3: he had the best stuff I've ever seen ever, like
- 17:20Speaker 3: pure stuff wise, yes, yeah, but knowing how to pitch wise,
- 17:26Speaker 3: no knowing how to pitch or scared the pitch. I'm
- 17:30Speaker 3: not gonna calm scared. I've okay scared. I've had that
- 17:35Speaker 3: fight before, so I'm not going to have that fight again.
- 17:39Speaker 3: He was He just wanted to strike everybody out, so
- 17:42Speaker 3: he was never a I'm just gonna throw a ninety
- 17:44Speaker 3: six sinker and I can get this guy out on
- 17:47Speaker 3: one pitch. Instead, I'm gonna go sink her off the plate,
- 17:50Speaker 3: cut her off the plate, slider off the plate, and
- 17:52Speaker 3: then I'll go four seamer, dotted cutter, dotted slider, punch
- 17:57Speaker 3: him out, and it's six pitches instead, it could be one.
- 17:59Speaker 3: You can be like, okay, under next dude could have
- 18:01Speaker 3: gone nine innings every time. But he I mean, he'd
- 18:03Speaker 3: go seven innings to strike out twelve, but you'd have
- 18:06Speaker 3: four walks, four hits, and one hundred and twenty pitches.
- 18:08Speaker 2: Right.
- 18:09Speaker 3: That was where it was like, man, come on, dude.
- 18:12Speaker 2: Yeah you're watching, You're like, this could be a complete guy.
- 18:17Speaker 3: Every time I it was that his stuff was ridiculous. Yeah.
- 18:21Speaker 2: I TechEd him prime, Yeah.
- 18:23Speaker 3: And he was able to dial it up. Guy would
- 18:25Speaker 3: get on second base, the everything would tick up in
- 18:29Speaker 3: velocity and they'd throw that curveball that he didn't really
- 18:32Speaker 3: care about throwing early until there was runners in scoring position.
- 18:35Speaker 3: Guy gets on second base, you were like, what is what?
- 18:39Speaker 3: Like you just knew this was before we had all
- 18:41Speaker 3: the analytics or everybody's reading all the analysts. We had
- 18:44Speaker 3: the analytics, but everyone's reading it like he was a
- 18:48Speaker 3: he was a he was special at that time.
- 18:52Speaker 1: And we're talking ball while that was running. But here's
- 18:54Speaker 1: one for you. Anthony Vopi's up. He's playing today.
- 18:58Speaker 3: Oh, he's playing there. I was like, why did you
- 19:00Speaker 3: play yesterday?
- 19:04Speaker 2: Yesterday?
- 19:06Speaker 3: What's his name's Shuman? Schuman sah. It didn't work out
- 19:10Speaker 3: too well. There was a little bit of miscommunication there
- 19:12Speaker 3: with him last night. What do you mean just a
- 19:17Speaker 3: couple of plays. The one they were over in the
- 19:20Speaker 3: shift and Ryan McMahon threw the ball and it technically
- 19:24Speaker 3: it was it was Schumann's ball, but it's like an
- 19:27Speaker 3: awkward third base to shortstop throw. That was awkward. And
- 19:31Speaker 3: then there was another turn. It wasn't clean. But now
- 19:36Speaker 3: it's fine. Volpey's up. Volpe's ready, He's ready.
- 19:41Speaker 2: Yeah, and Cabiira is ready to He had a great quote.
- 19:44Speaker 1: He's like ten days, that's the maximum taking and on
- 19:47Speaker 1: his way to the club, how you go the clubhouse?
- 19:49Speaker 2: He said to the media. Brian Hope tweeted this nine
- 19:52Speaker 2: days to go. I mean, if that doesn't eight days,
- 19:56Speaker 2: I'm coming for you.
- 19:57Speaker 1: And Boone already said Iron Boone, Yankees manager, right back
- 20:01Speaker 1: into his job like.
- 20:03Speaker 2: He was doing great nothing Bolt.
- 20:05Speaker 3: He's one of the best short subs. Defensively, he gives
- 20:07Speaker 3: him a different presence. He steals bases.
- 20:09Speaker 2: Yankee fans love him.
- 20:11Speaker 3: He's like a little He's a gnat, He's a little flea.
- 20:13Speaker 2: He was like that with the race. I know he's
- 20:15Speaker 2: great fights too, and I loved it.
- 20:17Speaker 3: He's perfect at what his he knows what his role is.
- 20:19Speaker 3: He's we always used to tell Gordon Beckham, if you're
- 20:22Speaker 3: a flea, be a flea, right, and Cavero is a flee.
- 20:25Speaker 3: It's like that annoying dude that puts together a hell
- 20:27Speaker 3: of it in a bad Plea's unbelievable defense. Steals a base,
- 20:30Speaker 3: is jumping around, big dog.
- 20:32Speaker 4: You know how it is. Man, We're always hungry, and
- 20:34Speaker 4: how do we get our food? We don't want the
- 20:36Speaker 4: stuff that makes our bellies hurt. We go to Hello Fresh.
- 20:39Speaker 4: We find out specifically what we love to eat. And
- 20:42Speaker 4: guess what, Kratzy, I know it helps you out the house,
- 20:45Speaker 4: old wife. He is happy and the kids are extra happy.
- 20:48Speaker 3: I'm good at two things. Cookie is one of them.
- 20:51Speaker 3: But not trying to choose what we're gonna have. I've
- 20:54Speaker 3: gone fifteen meals so far, and they haven't given me
- 20:57Speaker 3: one repeat meal. There's so many to choose from, and
- 21:00Speaker 3: they can make it easy for me.
- 21:01Speaker 4: Yeah, and I think the best part of it is
- 21:03Speaker 4: is for me. I'm very particular. I'm trying new things,

- 21:33Speaker 2: Crats, this one's for you.
- 21:35Speaker 1: Second best record in baseball since Don Mattingly took over
- 21:38Speaker 1: the Phillies is the Phillies eleven and three wheeler shoved.
- 21:43Speaker 1: Stott looks good, Marsh looks really good. Bone's looking a
- 21:47Speaker 1: little bit better. Sanchez is on fire. This seems good.
- 21:53Speaker 3: Finally what we thought they were. Yeah, I think they
- 21:56Speaker 3: knew that. I mean, they're not like scoring a billion runs.
- 22:00Speaker 3: Warber going tonight to try to break the Phillies franchise
- 22:04Speaker 3: record of and A. J. Perzinski's record of six straight
- 22:11Speaker 3: home runs in a game. So we'll see if it
- 22:14Speaker 3: happens five.
- 22:16Speaker 2: So right, he's gone, he's going for six.
- 22:17Speaker 3: Yeah, clearly anyone can do five. If I did it,
- 22:23Speaker 3: Clearly anybody can do five. That's what that's. It's really
- 22:28Speaker 3: dumb down by that. It's really dumb down six though.
- 22:32Speaker 2: Six.
- 22:33Speaker 3: I should have hit six, I had. Man, I was
- 22:35Speaker 3: mad I didn't get six. I love that that story.
- 22:38Speaker 3: You told that story. I got one pitch and I
- 22:42Speaker 3: should have hit it, and I hit a double. I was pissed.
- 22:44Speaker 3: I mean I was, but I was pissed, and then
- 22:47Speaker 3: I like got nothing else the rest of the game.
- 22:50Speaker 3: It was like two oh change up and I'm like,
- 22:51Speaker 3: he's stolen me. A change up was the Royals. I'm like,
- 22:54Speaker 3: I know he's stolen me. A two oh change up
- 22:56Speaker 3: and I hit it down the ray field line. It
- 22:58Speaker 3: was a double, and I was like, dude, the one
- 23:00Speaker 3: shot I had.
- 23:01Speaker 1: That's when you know you're feeling it. You barely get
- 23:03Speaker 1: a shot, you feel like you know the pitch coming,
- 23:04Speaker 1: the swing's right. That's how you put together five in
- 23:07Speaker 1: a row.
- 23:07Speaker 3: Yeah, sometimes sometimes the junk just comes together perfectly. It does.
- 23:12Speaker 2: Swears the most homers in baseball right now.
- 23:14Speaker 3: Yes, it's one every day right now, he does. And
- 23:17Speaker 3: it's not even Juni yet.
- 23:19Speaker 2: No it's not seven first inning homers.
- 23:21Speaker 1: By the way, the Red Sox now back to back
- 23:23Speaker 1: games with Bao pitching has given him an opener. It's
- 23:27Speaker 1: helped a little bit, I guess, compared to what he
- 23:29Speaker 1: was doing before. I know, first they win, they lost, right,
- 23:34Speaker 1: so you're saying, maybe a good thing.
- 23:35Speaker 3: They signed her to that long term extension has to
- 23:37Speaker 3: have somebody start for him.
- 23:39Speaker 1: I mean, there's a couple guys that when they come back,
- 23:41Speaker 1: might boot him out of the rotation.
- 23:44Speaker 3: They have all the answers. They have all the answers.
- 23:46Speaker 3: The pitching department, in the front office there has all
- 23:49Speaker 3: the answers. Don't even question them. A billionaire attorney, John
- 23:53Speaker 3: Morgan plays the meet with Ray's managing partner Patrick Zuleobski
- 23:56Speaker 3: to discuss moving a team to Orlando if a stadium
- 23:58Speaker 3: deal falls through in Tampa. So John Morgan was a part,
- 24:03Speaker 3: originally going to be a part of the Orlando Dreamers, right,
- 24:07Speaker 3: and he left because he didn't really jump in because
- 24:11Speaker 3: he wanted to see where it went. It didn't go anywhere.
- 24:14Speaker 3: Although the Dreamers are still trying, which they have an
- 24:17Speaker 3: office and they have gear now.
- 24:20Speaker 2: They have no chance of an expansion team.
- 24:22Speaker 3: Thank you, which is exactly what I have said since
- 24:25Speaker 3: the get go. They're never going to get an expansion team.
- 24:27Speaker 3: Is Tampa in Miami or here that we're not going to.
- 24:29Speaker 2: I have a better chance of an expansion You.
- 24:31Speaker 3: Have seven billion, Scott, you can get an expansion team.
- 24:34Speaker 2: Not in Orlando, not in Orlando. They will not put
- 24:37Speaker 2: three teams in Florida.
- 24:38Speaker 3: No, and it's too close to Tampa.
- 24:40Speaker 2: Correct.
- 24:40Speaker 3: The chance they have is what this is going to happen.
- 24:43Speaker 3: And John Morgan has a lot of money, and he
- 24:45Speaker 3: has a lot of cachet, and he has a lot
- 24:46Speaker 3: of polland because he's from Orlando, Orlando guy based in Orlando,
- 24:50Speaker 3: started in Orlando, family's still based here in Orlando. But
- 24:55Speaker 3: do I think this will happen? From what I know?
- 25:00Speaker 3: They want the Rays one at least one hundred acre plot.
- 25:02Speaker 3: There's not one hundred acre plot in Orlando that's really
- 25:04Speaker 3: feasible unless you get really out in the burbs, like
- 25:06Speaker 3: out in the Cassemi points in.
- 25:09Speaker 2: And you don't want to do that.
- 25:10Speaker 3: You don't want to do that. You've got to have
- 25:12Speaker 3: the the theme parks involved somehow. I don't know. Would
- 25:18Speaker 3: I love for a team to move here, Yes, do
- 25:19Speaker 3: I think it'll happen. No, But this is a good
- 25:21Speaker 3: pr for John Morgan to come out and do this.
- 25:23Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the arts in the mix, right. It's also
- 25:27Speaker 1: just leverage. To me, this is just leverage. When you're
- 25:30Speaker 1: negotiating with a city, you try and get what you
- 25:32Speaker 1: want and you have to have something else.
- 25:35Speaker 3: Like Sacramento had with Vegas, Jerry had with Tampa. Es
- 25:41Speaker 3: Tampa and San Francisco used Tampa to get their new
- 25:44Speaker 3: ballpark too.
- 25:45Speaker 1: David Sampson and the Marlins used something and Sampson's talked
- 25:48Speaker 1: about it on his show Complete fake.
- 25:50Speaker 3: It's just Jerry try to use Nashville. They're not moving
- 25:52Speaker 3: in Nashville.
- 25:53Speaker 2: No. So it's cute.
- 25:55Speaker 1: And hey, if something was actually legit and we felt
- 25:59Speaker 1: like it was coming to our land, we'd be pretty
- 26:01Speaker 1: happy about it.
- 26:02Speaker 3: But I'd be pumping about it. I'd be on the phone,
- 26:04Speaker 3: you'd see me wearing all kinds of stuff. But I
- 26:06Speaker 3: just what I know is just it's not. It's not
- 26:11Speaker 3: it could it could have happened. Yes, there is a
- 26:12Speaker 3: great plot of lamb, but it's only thirty five acres. Yeah,
- 26:15Speaker 3: that's what he said.
- 26:16Speaker 2: That's what he said.
- 26:18Speaker 3: That's what he said.
- 26:19Speaker 2: That's what he said.
- 26:23Speaker 1: Logan Gilbert said, shower with your clothes on, keep your
- 26:29Speaker 1: uniform on, cal Riley and your oh for thirty six er.
- 26:33Speaker 1: It will change things for you. It worked next day,
- 26:38Speaker 1: two knocks. Welcome to the big leagues, kid.
- 26:42Speaker 3: I mean this is you know, this is funny, but
- 26:44Speaker 3: I've seen guys do crazy stuff. I've seen guys shower
- 26:47Speaker 3: full uniform. I never unbuttoned my jersey ever. I would
- 26:51Speaker 3: never unbutton it. I would just put it on, take
- 26:52Speaker 3: it off with it. If I was like, oh for
- 26:54Speaker 3: ten or something, I would just rip all the buttons off.
- 26:57Speaker 3: So that said I would get a new jersey. I see.
- 26:59Speaker 3: I mean I would. If I was in a bad one,
- 27:02Speaker 3: I'd go and get just start over with everything from
- 27:05Speaker 3: socks to underwear. Everything. I'd just be like, Nope, that
- 27:08Speaker 3: stuff doesn't work, let's try it. H I've seen guys
- 27:11Speaker 3: take their bats home put them in corners because they're
- 27:13Speaker 3: not performing. So they're like in punishment and like time out.
- 27:16Speaker 3: Guys sleep at their bats, Guys put their bats outside. Guys.
- 27:21Speaker 3: We once had a thing, and I hate to bring
- 27:23Speaker 3: us up. We once had a thing. We were in
- 27:24Speaker 3: Toronto and we had a couple guys and they thought
- 27:27Speaker 3: it was funny and they went and got a couple
- 27:29Speaker 3: of blow up dolls and they put some in some
- 27:31Speaker 3: reporters on. It became a big story for but it
- 27:36Speaker 3: was just trying to get everybody to go hit. I mean,
- 27:39Speaker 3: guys will do anything. Guys literally will do anything.
- 27:43Speaker 2: Oh I I did not know that one which one dolls?
- 27:48Speaker 3: Yeah, it wasn't very good. It was It wasn't a
- 27:49Speaker 3: big deal like it was just it wasn't like it
- 27:51Speaker 3: was live. It was just like they were around them
- 27:54Speaker 3: and a reporter saw and they didn't think it was
- 27:56Speaker 3: very funny and it was not like it was. It
- 27:59Speaker 3: wasn't anything at all. It was just like sitting there
- 28:01Speaker 3: and we all like walked by like okay, and then
- 28:04Speaker 3: we ended up we ended up going and winning. It
- 28:06Speaker 3: was in Toronto.
- 28:07Speaker 1: Real question like guys will do anything, Yeah, but also
- 28:10Speaker 1: like real question, is that not okay? Like there it's
- 28:13Speaker 1: a doll I mean if somebody, like if somebody they
- 28:17Speaker 1: said there.
- 28:17Speaker 3: Was degrading women and this reporter it was, it was
- 28:21Speaker 3: it turned into something that should have never been and
- 28:23Speaker 3: it was and I understood where it was coming, but
- 28:25Speaker 3: it wasn't meant. It was just meant like as okay,
- 28:28Speaker 3: everyone everyone, it's a it's a piece of plastic. So again,
- 28:32Speaker 3: they have people who did it. I had nothing to
- 28:33Speaker 3: do with it. So the people who did it apologize
- 28:36Speaker 3: and moved on. But uh yeah, so there's ESPN.
- 28:41Speaker 1: White Sox deal with fallout from blow up doll prankum.
- 28:46Speaker 2: If that's the word happens in the world.
- 28:48Speaker 3: I thinks the old Toronto when you walked into the
- 28:51Speaker 3: Old Toronto Visiting Clubhouse, there was that little couch that
- 28:53Speaker 3: was sitting right there. You walked in and you took
- 28:55Speaker 3: a right and then he left the lockers. It was
- 28:58Speaker 3: they were on the couch right there, so when you
- 29:00Speaker 3: walked in, you kind of had to walk right past
- 29:01Speaker 3: it to get to your locker. And one persons on,
- 29:04Speaker 3: I didn't think it was very didn't think it was appropriate.
- 29:08Speaker 3: I didn't have anything to do with it. I just
- 29:09Speaker 3: walked by my locker. Was because I always had like
- 29:12Speaker 3: the first locker in the corner. So I was right
- 29:14Speaker 3: there and I just like, okay, well, I mean but
- 29:19Speaker 3: it worked. I think we got kind of hot after that,
- 29:20Speaker 3: so it kind of worked, Ozzie said. Ozzie said, the
- 29:23Speaker 3: whole thing was blown out of proportion. But anyways, yeah, yeah,
- 29:31Speaker 3: I mean, you know Yankees had the golden thong thing
- 29:33Speaker 3: they try to guy. I mean, listen, I'm sure Crowds
- 29:35Speaker 3: has a million stories. Guys would do. I remember guys
- 29:37Speaker 3: would burn bats. Guys would I mean, guys would do
- 29:40Speaker 3: any I've seen many guys take showers in their uniform.
- 29:43Speaker 3: This is like not something new, like one if I
- 29:47Speaker 3: was ever in an O for thirty or when I
- 29:49Speaker 3: was in an O for thirty six slump, I got
- 29:51Speaker 3: sent down. So dudes that are like doing things to
- 29:53Speaker 3: get out of slumps, they're good players, and reality is
- 29:57Speaker 3: they're gonna get out of those slumps anyway. But I
- 30:00Speaker 3: used to put, like, whoever the best hitter was on
- 30:02Speaker 3: our team, I'd look in their bat bag when we're
- 30:04Speaker 3: going on a road trip and I would take one
- 30:06Speaker 3: of my bats out, leave it and I would put
- 30:08Speaker 3: one of their bats in just so that like the
- 30:11Speaker 3: one time it was Christian Yellis's bat, and I was like, they,
- 30:14Speaker 3: like my bats just need to like they need to
- 30:16Speaker 3: find something out from the Christian Yellows bat, like, hey,
- 30:19Speaker 3: what are you doing? What does my guy do? And
- 30:21Speaker 3: then he'll tell me and then it's like a you know,
- 30:23Speaker 3: it's it's reciprocal. Brad Miller the story. When we talked
- 30:26Speaker 3: about this, my mind went to Brad Miller. Brad Miller
- 30:29Speaker 3: hit two homers for us with the Brewers in twenty
- 30:34Speaker 3: eighteen and we were in Cincinnati. Well, pregame that day
- 30:38Speaker 3: that he hit two homers. He had a little back issue,
- 30:42Speaker 3: so he had icy hot on his back and the
- 30:44Speaker 3: icy hot gets sweaty and it leaks down into lower
- 30:50Speaker 3: than your back, and he was like, Lord, how do
- 30:54Speaker 3: I get this off? And I had heard milk, So
- 30:58Speaker 3: I went and got a joke the milk, and he
- 31:01Speaker 3: did a handstand in the shower and I poured the
- 31:03Speaker 3: milk on him to get the icy hot off. Two dingers.
- 31:07Speaker 3: Guess what we did with a gallon of milk the
- 31:08Speaker 3: next day too, in the shower milk. He didn't hit
- 31:14Speaker 3: two homers, and that's okay, but I wanted came on
- 31:18Speaker 3: the show right at the end of his career here
- 31:20Speaker 3: and I missed that day. We were going to tell
- 31:22Speaker 3: that story. But b Miller maybe the best skinny guy
- 31:27Speaker 3: pop that I've ever seen. Well, okay, he lives right there.
- 31:31Speaker 3: We can get them moneytime.
- 31:32Speaker 2: And that is why, by.
- 31:34Speaker 3: The way, I can tell you, I can tell you
- 31:35Speaker 3: speaking of that. By the way, I love that story.
- 31:39Speaker 3: But I have a friend of mine and I'm not
- 31:41Speaker 3: going to use his name that did that. He was
- 31:43Speaker 3: he was making an omelet one time and he got
- 31:45Speaker 3: the pepper on his fingers and then he touched his
- 31:49Speaker 3: belly button, his belly button area, and it got on fire.
- 31:53Speaker 3: And he's like, how do I get rid of this?
- 31:55Speaker 3: And so he had cottage cheese in the fridge and
- 31:57Speaker 3: he went and he put his other regions in the
- 32:00Speaker 3: on his belly and then and then his wife walked
- 32:02Speaker 3: out and was like, what are you doing? That is
- 32:06Speaker 3: a true story. Oh yes, she goes, what is wrong?
- 32:11Speaker 3: What are you doing?
- 32:15Speaker 2: Crazy things?
- 32:17Speaker 3: It was blown out of proportion. He used to do
- 32:19Speaker 3: voodoo and stuff like Ozzie had all kinds of crazy. Yeah,
- 32:22Speaker 3: that's that's scary. He had like voodoo and stuff. That's
- 32:24Speaker 3: so I'm glad we did this. We learned a lot
- 32:30Speaker 3: milk cures, peppers, hot sauce. I love you, Brad Miller.
- 32:37Speaker 3: Good segment.
- 32:39Speaker 2: Thanks, be right back.
- 32:40Speaker 3: Thanks cal.
- 32:42Speaker 1: Ohtani second, ab Homer, I know we mentioned it earlier.
- 32:48Speaker 1: You buy into the BP outside thing and working hard
- 32:52Speaker 1: on the swing and trying not to roll over on
- 32:55Speaker 1: ground balls.
- 32:57Speaker 2: All of that can't hurt, right.
- 32:59Speaker 1: He doesn't really you that often, he'd I mean, he
- 33:01Speaker 1: does a ton of work inside, but he doesn't really
- 33:03Speaker 1: do much outside.
- 33:04Speaker 2: Pre game.
- 33:05Speaker 3: Yeah, I played with the kuy Nick Mark Cacas. He
- 33:07Speaker 3: never hit outside, and he had a ton of hits.
- 33:11Speaker 3: A lot of guys, a lot of guys have started
- 33:13Speaker 3: adopting don't uh don't hit outside, especially in hot stadiums.
- 33:18Speaker 3: A lot of a lot of people don't. I love
- 33:20Speaker 3: to hit outside though. For me, that was like my reward.
- 33:24Speaker 3: I got to hit outside. That was my game. Yeah,
- 33:28Speaker 3: I mean it was like a thing. It got my
- 33:29Speaker 3: body going, it I got I got climatized, got my
- 33:34Speaker 3: body shaking and moving.
- 33:36Speaker 2: That was your grounding.
- 33:37Speaker 3: It was I'd hit. I'd throw my seven balls to
- 33:40Speaker 3: Freddy Freeman every day about this hard, and then I'd
- 33:45Speaker 3: go hit and then I'd go inside.
- 33:49Speaker 2: You didn't whip it over there to him?
- 33:51Speaker 3: No, no, no, no no. We played catch. So we literally
- 33:53Speaker 3: play catch from like forty feet. We both of us
- 33:56Speaker 3: would like about this hard about six times each and
- 34:00Speaker 3: then we'd be like, okay, we're good.
- 34:01Speaker 2: Good warm up.
- 34:02Speaker 3: I mean because I had to warm up with the picture,
- 34:04Speaker 3: so I had long toss with the picture. Yeah. Right,
- 34:07Speaker 3: So there wasn't before the stretch. It was more just
- 34:09Speaker 3: like okay, I'm good. Yep.
- 34:13Speaker 1: Well, maybe shoeo Tani will start given the people what
- 34:18Speaker 1: they wanted. And outside of it, all of this was
- 34:19Speaker 1: not for the fans because it was too early.
- 34:22Speaker 3: If he does this on the road, then we have
- 34:24Speaker 3: some why because at home most fans aren't in the ballpark.
- 34:31Speaker 2: This also wasn't BP, this was before.
- 34:33Speaker 3: That, I know. But I'm saying, if he hits on
- 34:35Speaker 3: the road regular VP, we got we got a story.
- 34:37Speaker 3: This is yeah.
- 34:39Speaker 2: I mean there are a lot of people that wish
- 34:41Speaker 2: he did of course. Yeah.
- 34:44Speaker 1: I mean a lot of people go to VP and
- 34:45Speaker 1: it's just as fun for them as the game for
- 34:47Speaker 1: the fans.
- 34:48Speaker 3: What's what's Weirdy tries to get a home run ball
- 34:50Speaker 3: everywhere Zach Campbell. He loves the VP.
- 34:53Speaker 2: He does.
- 34:56Speaker 3: I think they should open up the stadium for and
- 34:58Speaker 3: have the home team hit after the visiting team. I
- 35:01Speaker 3: think VP. I get it. I get it. I'm not
- 35:04Speaker 3: saying I'm just saying I think fans. I think it
- 35:07Speaker 3: is an awesome fan experience. And I loved VP. I wasting.
- 35:12Speaker 3: I was hitting in a group of Broken Dreams Group three.
- 35:17Speaker 2: Did you see the Mattocks yesterday?
- 35:20Speaker 1: Bailey Ober He did it CG eighty nine pitches, two hits.
- 35:24Speaker 2: I didn't strike.
- 35:25Speaker 1: I don't know if he finished it, as many others didn't,
- 35:29Speaker 1: but the Twins and Fish got a little bit of attention.
- 35:32Speaker 1: I was watching the screens that had all the screens,
- 35:34Speaker 1: so I was keeping an eye on that one.
- 35:36Speaker 2: And postgame they talked to me.
- 35:38Speaker 1: He said they were super aggressive with their swings, so
- 35:42Speaker 1: he was bringing it right to the Marlins and the
- 35:45Speaker 1: key also for Bailey, he said, was to stay away
- 35:48Speaker 1: from his manager, Derek Shelton, so that maybe he would
- 35:50Speaker 1: just forget about his six foot nine.
- 35:53Speaker 2: Starter who was dealing. He was like, I didn't want
- 35:56Speaker 2: him to take me out, so I was trying to avoid.
- 35:58Speaker 3: It's kind of hard it's kind of hard.
- 36:00Speaker 2: Can't miss Bailey Over in a dugout.
- 36:03Speaker 3: He's sitting there. Everybody else is like this in the dugout,
- 36:06Speaker 3: He's like, bo, nobody's gonna see me, right right, nobody's
- 36:12Speaker 3: gonna see me.
- 36:14Speaker 1: He's a good dude. Yes, he's a really nice guy.
- 36:17Speaker 1: I would say it's like an underrated pitcher in the sport.
- 36:20Speaker 3: Right.
- 36:20Speaker 1: He's been doing it for a while now. It took
- 36:23Speaker 1: him some time to get there and he's been a
- 36:26Speaker 1: mid rotation starter. No, does not throw a billion by
- 36:29Speaker 1: any means.
- 36:29Speaker 2: I mean he.
- 36:32Speaker 3: He's got a little Chris Young and him like super
- 36:34Speaker 3: high and he throws like that simball and they swing
- 36:37Speaker 3: and miss at it for a long time, and teams
- 36:39Speaker 3: that don't make adjustments just keep swinging, missing, keep popping up. Oh,
- 36:44Speaker 3: I'm gonna get him. Oh for three? Comfortable? Oh for three?
- 36:47Speaker 3: Is Bailey Over? Mm hmm, doesn't walk anybody didn't punch
- 36:53Speaker 3: out a lot of guys. It's good pitching, good pitching.
- 36:57Speaker 2: It's a fun watch because it it's different.
- 37:01Speaker 1: If you watch that every night, it's not as impressive
- 37:03Speaker 1: to watch as them is or Skeins or Mason Miller.
- 37:06Speaker 2: But it's a nice change of pace. M. That's Bailey
- 37:11Speaker 2: Ober for you.
- 37:12Speaker 3: Good job. You know, I used to know what the
- 37:14Speaker 3: best part of that was. I saw the end of
- 37:16Speaker 3: that game and I just got to see lots of
- 37:17Speaker 3: Dustin Morris, the PR guy. He's running over the sailor.
- 37:21Speaker 3: He's like distal and Bailey over is like distole.
- 37:24Speaker 2: During the post game, yeah, they set up all his interviews.
- 37:26Speaker 3: Yes, yeah,
