How will you honor your mother this Mother’s Day?

In today’s Rise Up reflection, Fr. Jonathan Meyer gives thanks for mothers everywhere:

💐 grandmothers

💐 godmothers

💐 spiritual mothers

💐 teachers, catechists, and mentors

Thank you for your love, sacrifice, faith, and witness.

Jesus says in today’s Gospel:

“If you love me, keep my commandments.”

How true that is of our mothers too.

So many of the lessons our moms taught us as children:

➡️ pray

➡️ forgive

➡️ go to church

➡️ love your family

➡️ do what is right

…we now realize were gifts that shaped who we are today.
